It is the herd wherever you may be and however you may be listening. IHeart Radio, Fox Sports Radio and FS1. Joy Taylor is joining me today. Joel Clatt in one hour. College football came out with its playoff rankings. I agree wholeheartedly with those rankings. I am very happy.

Clat is furious, by the way. Nick Wright today, Jay Glazer, Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy. To the world. We have quite a story developing here. Story. There's like 15 things going on right now. Heard lines going to be busy today. So let's start with this.

This broke about 15, 20 minutes ago. The Packers, Aaron Rogers is unvaccinated. He is tested positive for COVID. He will not be available for the game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Quite a gift for them. And listen, life when you make big choices is about risk and reward. And, you know, there are consequences. I am not a huge fan.

I've said this about mandates and the vaccination. I think you should get it. I think it's selfish, mostly not to get it. But I don't believe in mandates. I believe in choices. and those bear out consequences, and Aaron Rogers now won't be available. And just ask yourself this, isn't it kind of on Aaron's brand? Aaron does what he wants, says what he wants.

Wasn't this the Green Bay Packers' criticism of Aaron? He's not really a team guy. He's an Aaron guy. He's leaving us hanging. Wasn't that kind of what the Packers were frustrated with? Isn't it kind of on brand that Aaron's unvaccinated? Aaron did what he want, said what he want. kind of manipulated the media in the summer saying he was immunized, and here we are in a very

interesting situation. Now, again, I think quarterback, and I've said this for years, it's not about your arm strength. If it was about arm strength, Dan Marino would have nine Super Bowls. If it was about arm strength, Aaron would have the Super Bowls and Tom Brady wouldn't. Brett Farve would have the Super Bowls. Being a quarterback is about a lot of things, and one of them is judgment and leadership. And I don't love this as a. leadership choice as a star quarterback not being vaccinated because now he's out for 10 days minimum. That would not be the case if he was vaccinated. So he's out for Seattle and Mahalms, Big Edge, Kansas City, and he could be out for Russell

Wilson's return for Seattle. And does it mean here now in the end of the season, Green Bay is playing on the road in the second and third round of the playoffs because of these games in the middle of the season? This is where their schedule, remember we talked about this. this week is where their schedule is getting real dicey. It's getting really hard, and he's not there. But I think there's so many different angles on, here's a different angle on this as well. And I'm guilty of this.

The media often simplifies very complex situations. We all know Aaron Rogers is smart, right? We're not going to argue about that. Aaron is smart. Too often the media says, if you didn't get vaccinated, you're a dummy. And smart people got vaccinated. and dummies didn't get vaccinated. Well, I have two really, really, really good friends who didn't get vaccinated,

haven't been vaccinated, and they're super successful and super smart, and some of the smartest people I know. And Aaron Rogers didn't get vaccinated. So every story has much more nuance, much more complexity than dummies didn't get vaccinated and all the smart people did. There's a lot of factors here. I think now, I do think it's very selfish in certain situations. And Aaron Rogers, in his career, in my opinion, has had moments

when he has been selfish. He hasn't had a lot of moments when he's been dumb. And that's not the issue with Aaron. And Aaron's as smart as they get. But he's had selfish moments. He does sort of his own thing. So some of this is on brand. If he was vaccinated, he could play.

He wouldn't have to have a 10-day mandate. So he may be able to just miss this game, come back, and the whole season's fine. But they have consequences. This has always been Carson-Winns didn't get vaccinated. Kirk Cousins didn't get vaccinated. Aaron Rogers now didn't get vaccinated. Cam Newton, by the way, didn't get vaccinated, and it turned teams off. Then he didn't acknowledge and announced I got vaccinated.

I am not a mandate fan. I am a fan of you get the choice, but understanding there are consequences. And the NFL has been very clear about this. If you do not get vaccinated, we're going to make it hard as hell for you to get back. We're going to make you test more. You can't leave town in a buy week. And if you get it, 10 days out minimum. So Aaron had a choice.

Aaron made the choice. And now he suffers the consequences. I like that better than mandates. I'm not a huge, unless it's a mandate for sometimes a child vaccination, we should always be there to protect children. We should be there to protect animals and children. For adults, mostly, make your choice and live with the consequences. But some of this is a little on brand for Aaron. So in August, you remember in August when he was asked about being vaccinated?

One of my criticisms with Aaron has been he manipulates. He manipulates the media. He often says, I'm above the media. I just heard something the other day on Sirius XM where he was saying, I'm above this criticism. I'm above the media. Aaron often plays I'm above a lot in his life. And he tends to manipulate the media.

And this was something he said in the summer when asked about the vaccine. Are you vaccinated and what's your stance on vaccinations? Yeah, I've been immunized. You know, there's a lot of conversation around it, around the league and a lot of guys who have made statements, and I made statements, owners who made statements. You know, there's guys on the team that haven't been vaccinated. I think it's a personal decision.

I'm not going to judge those guys. Yeah, yeah, like you. That's Aaron kind of manipulating the situation. Aaron's done that his entire career. Aaron being a little selfish as a leader. He's done that his entire career. I've never criticized him for intelligence. I've never criticized him for talent.

I've never criticized him for, you know, commitment. I have said he's a little bit of a bailer more than a baller. He plays better with a lead when he gets behind. Sometimes he goes to the sideline and does his own errand thing. But some of this is kind of it's risk and reward. I couldn't tell the last time I had a speeding ticket. Maybe I've had one in my life. Why?

Because I always feel like when I get in a car, I never wanted to get into it late. Because then I could get a ticket for speeding or I could hurt somebody. And so that's the risk reward when you speed. I think people who fly down a freeway are incredibly selfish. Forget the ticket. What about somebody else's safety? So that's why I try to never get into a car late. I try to be punctual and on time.

And this was always a risk-reward situation. What if this had happened before a playoff game? Are you kidding me? This would be outrageous. And what's funny is, and this is not something I'm rooting for. Some of you probably think, oh, Colin loves this. He can bang on Aaron. I got the Packers number one in my herd hierarchy.

I thought, I said last week was the most impressed I'd ever, ever been with Aaron Rogers. I thought he was fantastic in Arizona. But it's interesting when you start looking at situations like this because we kind of felt, did we not? Boy, Eric, Aaron won that Green Bay Aaron's summer of angst. Actually, Green Bay this morning. The executives are going, told you so. It's about Aaron. Told you so.

Yeah, he's telling it. We're not denying that. We told you so. It's funny how this stuff works out. Brady and Belichick get a divorce. Round one, all Brady. All Brady. This weekend, Brady got crushed, and Mac Jones looks like he's good.

Is it lean? Oh, the Rams added players. Tampa maybe doesn't have the best team. Oh, man, the NFC top is good. What if Brady gets bounced out this year? And here's Belichick is Kansas City's defense stinks and Josh Allen's inconsistent. we don't know what we get with Lamar and we don't trust Cleveland and oh here comes New England winning a couple of playoff games we all thought oh boy Aaron Rogers really stuck it to

the Packers I could argue the Packers this morning are saying advantage us we told you so you think Packer radio this morning you think driving around Milwaukee you think Packer fans are mad at the front office this morning or mad at their star quarterback who didn't get vaccinated I don't know all this stuff is very very good. very, very interesting. The herd brought to you by Jersey, Mike Subs, be a sub above. You know, something else, I will say this is another advantage for the Green Bay Packer organization is this. They have a very comfortable lead in their division. Now they can find out if Jordan Love can play. You know, my son's just trying to get his driver's license and

you take him in parking lots or you take him at night and quiet places, you drive him around. But eventually, dad has to put him behind the wheel in traffic. Can he drive? we're going to find out can Jordan Love Drive? He got drafted in April 23rd of 2020. I looked it up this morning. He had a full season to be a backup. And then he had an off-season camp, off-season OTA, off-season pre-season, and now half another season.

We're all out there asking Mack Jones to play today live. We're all asking Justin Fields to play today live. We're all asking Trevor Lawrence to go out there and play and Zach Wilson go out and play. Bro, you've had a season and a half to sit behind Aaron, a great offensive coach, all sorts of weapons, OTAs, camps preseason. Let's see if Jordan Love can play. And if he looks like crap against Kansas City's defense, he can't play.

But that's an advantage for Green Bay. Because if he can play, if he goes out against Green Bay and Kansas City and we're all like, who that's pretty good. A, he has trade value. Everybody's looking for quarterbacks. Joy and I talk about this, eight teams next year, minimum need a quarterback. What if Jordan Love lights up Kansas City? And it got me a GM being out there like, I liked him two years ago.

I would have drafted him two years ago, but Green Bay moved up and got him. And I go watch him against Kansas City and he slices him up. So Green Bay has trade value. You could absolutely got something out of. Garopolo got a second round pick and he had injuries. If Jordan Love goes out there and chops it up, there's got to be a GM in this league that was like a fan of Jordan Love, Green Bay moved up and took him. You know there were seven GMs that would have taken Jordan Love in the second round

or after when Green Bay took him, I talked to GMs. It was split. Half like him, half didn't. If he goes and chops it up, A, he's got trade value, or B, if Aaron leaves, we got our guy. And if he can't play, that's not terrible. I still got Aaron. I'm still going to get to the playoffs, and we have clarity. You can't play.

And the question in the NFL is not, is my quarterback great or is he terrible? A lot of this stuff is murky in the middle, and you've got to see him. In a moment, and it's a perfect moment. He's had lots of time. Kansas City's defense is beyond average. It's not like you're opening up at Pittsburgh against the Steelers defense. You're not opening up in New Orleans against the Saints defense or against Buffalo's pass rush or against Tampa's pass rush.

You got to open up against Kansas City's defense with a year and a half of playbook and practice in OTA. We will have absolute clarity. If he stinks, all right. we got our guy, we're going to win our division. And if he doesn't, you've got a lot of options. Most of them good. So that's where we are today. You know, I love, you know, you come out and I write all these notes for the show.

And 15 minutes before the show, hey, none of them matter. We're just doing our own stuff here. OBJ and the Cleveland situation, boy, as Cleveland turned on OBJ. Oh, me. Michael Jordan getting ripped by Scotty Pippen. You know I love that. You know I love that. Not that Scotty's right and Michael's wrong,

but anytime I can talk Michael in the last dance, Joey and I talked about it for six months, so believe me. Josina Anderson is reporting this morning. Odell Beckham has been told he's excused from Cleveland Brown's practice today. Additionally, it's her understanding OBJ was ready to attend practice per usual, but he will get a DNP, a non-injury do not practice. Much like Aaron Rogers, risk-reward, there are consequences for dad putting out an IG ripping Baker-Mayfield. for LeBron ripping the calves free OBJ. Those are consequences. We all know those were generated by O'Dell Beckham,

and he wanted out yesterday. And by the way, reportedly the Saints and the Browns did talk, and there was discussions, and I think the Saints were a perfect place for him. They have no over-the-top receiver. I think New England, by the way, is another great place for him. Very strong defenses, very strong coaches, very strong cultures. OBJ would have been great with the Patriots and great with a Saints.

and great with the Saints, and the Saints and the Browns worked on a deal and talked, and it didn't work out. But it's just like Aaron. There are consequences for decisions. I'm not into mandates. But you want to put Dad putting an IG out there ripping Baker, the quarterback? This is the consequence if you don't get traded. The other thing, Odell's got four things working against him.

One, he's expensive. Two, he can't stay healthy. Three, Cleveland's offense is not built around Odell, or receivers for that matter. Or there's a flood of wide receiver talent in the NFL right now. It's crazy. Years ago, if you had a T.O. And he was great and he was a Diva, you just tolerated him. You just dealt with it.

Andre Risen, T.O. It didn't matter. If you had a diva wide receiver, the receiver had absolute control over the franchise. Not anymore. Not anymore. There's too many good receivers. The way the game is played at the college level, it's given the NFL 30 wide receivers a year.

Many of them walk into the league and are great in day one. You don't have to tolerate a brittle receiver, an expensive receiver, a needy receiver, a diva receiver, an underperforming receiver. I mean, Brown's got all sorts of receivers. All sorts of wide receivers and tight ends and running backs. And so it's just like when I grew up, you didn't have any choices. You had to deal with taxis and cabs that smelled horrible. The taxi driver treated you like.

trash. They argued with you if you had to pay with credit cards. Sometimes they drive right by, even though they had the light on, they drive right by. You had to tolerate it. And then Uber happened. And lift happened. And now you walk into a cab and say, no, I have leverage. It stinks. See you. Now I walk into a cab and say, I'm paying a credit card and not tipping because I don't like the way you treat me and there's nothing you're going to do about it. There are options now in the market. taxi cabs are dreck and they've been exposed and you don't need them anymore. And so brittle, underachieving, dad dropping IGs. The marketplace, we see this all the time in sports.

There's cultural changes. There's analytic changes. I mean, got in baseball now. The Braves bullpen got 97 outs in the World Series. Like relievers are now as valuable, it seems, in the playoffs, as starters in the NBA. If you can shoot, you can be a great big and have all these skills. But if he can't shoot, I'll take a less athletic guy that can hit a three.

Right now, in football, there's wide receiver talent is insane. Good God, Dallas. It's Amari Cooper. It's CD Lamb. It's Cedric Wilson. Michael Gallup's not even playing. The Rams got rid of Deshawn Jackson. Deshawn's like, they never throw me the ball.

Robert Woods is like, I never get the ball. Because they got Van Jefferson. They got Cooper Cup, they got tight-in. The whole league except the New England Patriots has great wide receivers. And so I think Cleveland right now is like, eh, risk reward. You're going to bang on our quarterback on IG? You're going to go to your friends LeBroad and put something out there? Maybe we don't need you to practice today.

Joy with the news. No, no, no, no, no. Turn on the news. This is the herd line news. Crazy morning. Good morning. It's a little overwhelming. Well, some good news, non-drama-related, the Atlanta Braves are World Series champions.

Where to go. The ATL gets it first time since the mid-90s. They beat the Houston Astros 7-0 last night. First baseman, Freddie Freeman, talked about what it felt like to win the team's first championship in 26 years. I'm still numb, so I really don't have emotions. I'm just kind of trying to tell you guys things of how I feel because I don't really feel anything yet. So it's going to hit hard soon. And I don't know when. Maybe it's when we get to see everybody in Atlanta. That's a good point.

It's a little different when you went on your home field. Although there were a lot of Braves fans there last night. Yeah, yeah. I do think you would feel a different emotion once you get back to the city and you're greeted by the fans and you're having the parade. Then it kind of really sets in. In our life, this has overwhelmingly been a really well-run franchise. Like there are certain cities, I'm glad they went.

Like when the Cubs were bad forever, you're like, well, you're not run very well. When the Lions are bad forever or the Browns were like, well, you're not run very well. Atlanta's during the Sherholz years could have won five World Series. And they were brilliantly run. They've always had a great farm system, it seems to me. They've been good for several years. So when you're really well run, Georgia football by and large has mostly been well run. They have won national championship.

I'd like to see Georgia this year. I think it'd be great if Georgia won a national championship. They've been well run mostly for a long time. Atlanta's one of those teams like, they kind of had one common, right? Yeah, and they haven't won the World Series since 1995. Think about this. And it's one of those cities, which is just not a knock, but, you know, they're always just kind of right there and something happens. Think about this.

You're Miami girl. Pittsburgh, Miami. The Marlins have two World Series championships, barely care and have mostly been run like a bad truck stop. The Braves haven't had one since 95. and have mostly been very smartly executed and run. Like Atlanta is one of those franchises. Georgia football and Atlanta, you guys deserve. Maybe it's the year.

We've been talking about this. You get them in twos championships. Yeah. Maybe it's the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves year. We saw that. Okay, so no you weren't going to go with the Falcons. Hell no. Well, listen, it was really a tale of the season, half the season as well,

because they were not supposed to win this year. And so it was an incredible run by them. They were 52 and 54. July 30th at the trade deadline. They weren't above 500 until August 6th. So an incredible run by the Braves and some good news this morning. They are World Series champions.

Congrats to the city of Atlanta. You've earned it. You deserve it. Absolutely. It's not easy to root for every champion. Astros. It is easy to root for Atlanta. It did seem like the collective of baseball fans overall were rooting for the Braves. In L.A. they were not rooting for the Astros. I can assure you that.

Well, some more news. Michael Thomas, Saints wide receiver announced today that he will miss the entire 2021 season had another small setback, which we will have to address in his recovery from ankle surgery. He took the Twitter this morning and said, I've always been a man of faith. In these past few months, my faith has truly been tested. Unfortunately, there's been another small setback, which we will have to address. To my displeasure, I will not be able to make it back in time for the season, but we'll do everything in my power to get back to the player I have always been. Coach Sean Payton said,

he had been working his tail off, but recent scans showed that he might have to have another procedure. He had ligament surgery in June to repair his left ankle, and that was, he initially suffered in week one of 2020, and he battled through it the entire year. He was respected to return in October, but developed another separate ankle injury that led him to meet with the specialist, and so here we are now. So disappointing news for the Saints, especially coming off the news that they lost James for the rest of the year. they did try to make a deal for OBJ yesterday. So they knew this obviously before we did.

They probably knew it two weeks ago. So they did try to make a deal for OBJ. And the deal was probably listening. We'll take him if you pay for all the salary. Like the Vaughn Miller, Denver situation. Rams are like, we love Vaughn, we can't afford him. We'll give you draft picks. So I don't know what happened in the Saints OBJ.

I do think OBJ would have been a great fit here. I really do. I agree. Because the one thing the Saints do not have, they have to throw to running backs. The defense is great. The coordinators are great. The defensive coordinator has been do a head job pretty quick.

The head coach is great. Not great at quarterback and no deep threat. And it's just in 2021, you can't depend on 13 play drives to win a Super Bowl. Yeah, but they're silently kind of consistent. So they're very competitive despite all of those things. And part of that is because they're well coached. And they have a lot of strong veterans on their defense that are keeping them aflo. So this is bad news that's not getting him back.

But they haven't had them all year and I've managed to make it work. And obviously it's disappointing for fans because they wanted to see him back this year. So Deshaun Watson remains a member of the Texans. And Dolphins GM Chris Greer held a press conference yesterday that focused on why he's not joining Miami's roster. Greer said the team was doing background work and investigating everything when he was asked about their interest in Watson. He also said if there's a player that are considered one of the top players in the NFL, you have to look at it and try and go for it. has nothing to do with not believing in Tua. We're very happy with Tua.

All right. Well, that's what they're saying now. I mean, it's nonsense. Like, what do you mean? What are you talking about? Tampa Bay is not on the phone with the Texans. I can go down on the entire, the Seahawks aren't on the phone with the Texans.

There's plenty of teams who are, the bills are not on the phone with the Texans. Just because a top player is available doesn't mean that you're on the phone. The Chiefs aren't on the phone with the Texans. This is worth the second hour you and I are going to go into this because there's so many things here. It's incredibly layered in nuance. But the trade deadline yesterday, it really got very messy. All the news that dropped today is going to distract from what an absolute disaster.

It was a public circus. It was a total, it is a total circus. Obviously it came down to the legal situation, which couldn't be rushed. I don't even understand what the point of having the conversation with the Texans was. There are no answers. Everyone who is aware of this situation and who has done any kind of research or talk to anyone who has any kind of legal knowledge is fully aware. It could be years before we have an answer on this. Years.

It could be tomorrow. It could also be years. There's no way to press through this. You're not going to get an answer. If we had an answer, there would be more teams on the phone with the Texans because of the talent that Deshawn Watson is. But there is no answer. So to allow these rumors to just exist and float out there was a complete and utter waste. Like there's no other way around it.

You had to be decisive. If you were going to dip your toe in this pool, before the phone was ever picked up for the Texans, a decision had been made. Because there's always the risk that it's going to come out. Well, also, when you go into negotiations with the Houston Texans, who are now owner passed away, son has the team, a circus. So when you get into negotiations with people, you like them to be quick and you like them to be private. This Houston organization right now is a bit of a mess. So I don't think Miami leaked any of this stuff. I think Houston leaked all of it to create a market.

So be very, here's the memo to NFL people and in life. Be very careful who you get in negotiations with. Hopefully it's somebody that's discreet and quiet because Miami got into this thing. There was no win for them for this stuff to be out. And it was out for two months because Houston tried to create a market and then Miami gets back into a corner and they just kept going. Yeah, it clearly came from Houston. There was no win for Miami to have it out. But that doesn't mean it was fabricated by Houston reporters.

These are legitimate reporters. No, it wasn't fabricated. None of this was fabricated. The conversations were had. Greer just confirmed it. He literally just said they had those conversations. What Miami should have done is say, we will get in negotiations here. if we're not leaking it.

If it leaks, we're out. Yeah, very simple. I've literally had conversations. We both have agents with agents saying, I'm not going to say this. I know my company isn't. If this number gets out, that's on you. We know where it came from.

Yeah. So Miami should have set boundaries early. If any of this is out, it's over. Because you know there's not a big market for them. One or two teams max. In Miami, I don't think set the boundaries. And so Houston just flooded the market. Well, it clearly didn't set the boundaries because this has been

going on for months. And also, when you go into the negotiation like this with the amount of issues surrounding Deshawn Watson, you have to know that you're willing to pull the, you're willing to go with it. Like, you can't just let it linger. And now what do you have? You have completely shattered the confidence in Tua publicly and probably internally. And now you don't have Deshaun Watson. broke about an hour ago. I'm just going to set you up here. What does it mean for the Packers short term? What does it mean for the Packers long term? The floor, my friend, is yours, Nick. Well, short term, it means they go from being a one point underdog to an eight point underdog. So how much is Aaron Rogers worth? Well, evidently seven points to our friends at Fox Bed. it obviously drastically impacts their ability to get the one seed in the cutthroat NFC. And that's going to matter. Colin, I think right now most people believe of the six best teams in football, there's in no order, but there's the bills and then five NFC teams.

Packers, Cardinals, Bucks, Cowboys, Rams. Right. Well, one of those five, Colin, by definition, won't win a playoff game. One of those five will be home after Wild Card Weekend so that by the seating, all of that matters. It also, I guess, in a weird way, could give Aaron Rogers the opportunity for a big, I super told you so to the Packers if Jordan Love comes out and really struggles against what is an obviously bad Chief's defense. So there's all of that in the short term. The long term, a question I would have is this, Colin.

is Rogers going to get in trouble with the league? Could he be suspended? And I ask that because he hasn't been following the protocols for an unvaccinated player, at least not at the press conferences. All the unvaccinated Packers have been doing their press conferences either with a mask on or via Zoom. Rogers has not. So I don't know what other protocols he has or hasn't been following. But this is, you know, I read right before you brought me on the latest,

update the story, which is he got some type of alternative treatment that he petitioned for the league to call that, you know, treat him as vaccinated. The league said no, but he clearly didn't want it out that he was not officially vaccinated. It now is out. And he definitely misses the Chiefs game. He might miss the next game. And I wonder if he's going to get in trouble with the league. The whole thing's just a total mess. You know, a lot of us felt like Green Bay, Aaron. the summer of angst, Aaron won. He got his way. Could I suggest this?

This morning, the Packers are saying, we told you so. Aaron's about Aaron. Aaron's always been about Aaron. Aaron doesn't care about anybody, but Aaron. And in a way, it validates the primary concerns. Because this morning on Milwaukee Sports Radio, they're not taking Aaron's side on this.

You know that. It's the hell are you doing? How are you not doing this? And it balances the scales. on the Aaron Green Bay angst. Well, yeah, at least today it does, but if Jordan Love comes out and goes nine for 28 with three picks, then it goes back in Jordan in Aaron's favor.

I agree with you with the point you're making, but now Jordan Love's going to have to play. And by the way, Packers better, you know, because the third string quarterback is out with COVID protocols too. So the Packers got to be holding their breath that they're not going to be in that situation. Remember the Broncos last year? when they had to start the kid who was on the kick return team as their quarterback.

Like, they're hanging by a thread here. I wonder if this makes them call Cam Newton. I don't know. For a team that's trying to win the Super Bowl, Colin, this is just devastating for their chances. And I also, one other follow-up point here, we know Kirk Cousins isn't vaccinated, but nobody really thinks of the Vikings as a top-level team.

I wonder what conversations the Ravens are having right now with Lamar. Like, hey, man. Like, you know, can we, can this convince you? Because it is about something bigger than yourself, in addition to the fact it does make you healthier and safer. Odell Beckham, I said, a little like Aaron, there's a risk and reward. So his dad goes out and Rips Baker Mayfield on the IG, they took a big risk there. He was trying to force a trade, and he's got LeBron's camp saying free OBJ, and he's trying to force a trade. And risk reward, the Brown said we're not trading you and you can't practice today. How do you feel this morning about Odell and his tactics?

So a couple things. I don't know if the tactics are great. And while we don't know for certain that Odell was behind the tweet or the IG posts, it would be very odd for his dad and LeBron to do this totally without his consent. Now, and one could say that IG video is propaganda. But Colin, have you watched it? Because if it's propaganda, I got to tell you. it's pretty persuasive propaganda.

It is 11 minutes of Odell wide, butt naked open, and Baker not hitting him. And it's not like, well, he's not hitting him because he's hitting someone else. He's not hitting him because Baker's just running around, or he's hitting him late, or he's throwing to a guarded guy. This was presented as a pro-Odell Beckham video. you, I think, if you watched it and really paid attention, would look at it as an anti-Baker Mayfield video, and you would love it. So I do think the video did show, okay, maybe Odell's got a decent amount left in the tank.

And I, here's the problem for the Browns. And you know this in our business, right? Sometimes people have a non-compete clause. And sometimes companies try to enforce it, even if the company doesn't want the person anymore. because while they might say we can't use you, we don't want you to be used against us. Yes. And what do the Ravens, the Patriots, the Raiders, hell, I would say the chiefs, all have in common. They are all competing with the Browns for a playoff spot, and they all need a wide receiver.

So I don't think the Browns, while they, I'm sure they'd love to trade him to the Saints, as we mentioned, to the Niners. But that's now past. The teams in the NFC are set at receiver, right? The Rams are set. The Bucks are set. The Seahawks are set. Packers are set. If Odell were to be available,

it would be an AFC playoff contender that would scoop him up. And I just don't think the Browns want to play against him, even if they can't really play with him effectively. Well, Georgia won Alabama 2, even though they have a loss. And Cincinnati at 8 and 0 is 6. I, of course, am completely happy with that, because I believe if Alabama played Cincinnati from a non-power-five school conference, they would crush them.

And I think integrity in America won last night. I think America is a better country because of this college football ranking last night. Integrity won for college football. I hear you disagree. So it's Georgia 1, Bama 2, Michigan State 3, Oregon 4. That's fine. In Ohio State 5, Cincinnati relegated to a very reasonable 6. Your thoughts? Okay, so here's the thing. I have a lot here, Colin, because you, let me ask you this. Let's say Alabama lost this weekend to LSU, this upcoming weekend. They'd still be a favorite over Cincinnati, right? Like if they played on a neutral field. Right, yeah. So at what point does what you accomplished matter? And I watched your cute video. I was surprised

you'd have a cigar in your hand talking about, oh, I don't, you know, my kids, they're not allowed to say, deserve. Are they allowed to say earned? Yes. What if I, it's not Cincinnati deserves this. It's they have earned it. Oh. And if we are just going to say that it's what teams would be based in the Vegas odds makers mind's eye, that's fine, but that's not supposed to be the system, right? It's supposed to be about that if you earn your way in. And I feel like the Colin cowards of the world, which evidently there's a lot of you in the committee room, are just saying Cincinnati's ineligible. So then say they're ineligible. Well, no. So you asked me a question early in this rant. You said, so what is the line that Alabama is no longer ahead of Cincinnati? And the line is two losses.

But we understand in the SEC, which dominates the draft recruiting college football, you can lose in front of 98,000 on a Saturday night if you lose a game that you led in the fourth quarter against a team with five-star recruits. If you lose two, especially if you lose one of them at home, you're not ahead of Cincinnati. But at S. Well, then, hold on. Hold on. Are you going to stand by that if Alabama goes into the SEC championship game against

number one Georgia? And loses. And Georgia beats them. They're out. You're not going to go. Oh, really. Okay. I'm excited to see it.

I'm excited to see after that game, you are. for Cincinnati and not America? Uncle Collins telling you, we got to have the best teams in there. I'm not saying I'll argue for Cincinnati because I would put Ohio State with one loss above Cincinnati or Oregon with one loss. But if Bama loses a second, you're out, but I'm going to take all these other power five big dogs over Cincinnati.

Now, if Cincinnati, if Ohio State, Bama, Oregon, they all have two losses, then I'll put Cincinnati and is a four and they'll get boat race by Georgia and everybody will be happy in the coward house. But the line is too long. The SEC has earned the right. You have a right to lose a road game against a five and four star studded recruiting place at Jimbo Fisher. That's my only argument. I'm not saying again. Evidently. So is Oregon. So is Oregon evidently. And the power pack 12. Oregon's got to lose twice. Everybody's got to lose twice. Yes. Poor Cincinnati and Luke Fickle. They just want a little bit of respect. America's college football ambassador, Colin Coward won't give it to him.

I feel badly for the Bearcats. I'm telling you right now, Travis Kelsey's alma mater. Give him some respect, Colin. My God. All right, buddy. Great seeing you. Nick Rice. We spar.

We go back and forth. I'm just saying the SEC has earned the right that your two top teams get a loss. It's not like they lost at home to Navy. They lost at Texas A&M late in the fourth quarter, 90,000 people, a great coach. a great coach, a great staff. I'm not saying A&M's the best team in the world, but you get a, you've, Alabama's earned the right to lose one road game.

Just wondering. I mean, he tried to circumvent the rules. That's pretty obvious, right? I mean, you're all banging on Cam. And by the way, I did it.

I said, listen, that's my thing this morning. I said, Cam, you're a quarterback. What are you doing? You got to get vaccinated. I've said this. The quarterback's different. Throughout my career, Joy is my witness. I'm very tough on quarterbacks.

More is asked. More power is granted. More money is given. More guarantees are given the quarterbacks. We ask more of you. So I ripped Carson Wentz. I said, hey, you're a, what if you're playing the Titans? And you get a positive test.

The season's on the. the brink and you can't play as a quarterback. It's not like wide receiver where wide receivers, a team carries seven of them. You got a quarterback and a backup. And the backup's usually not close to the quarterback. And if you're paying the quarterback Aaron Rogers money or Carson Wend's money, we can't afford to have a good backup quarterback. So we're all banging on Cam. Cam's like, I'm getting vaccinated. Good for him. Cam had self-awareness. Cam heard. Well, this hurt me on the job market. I got to get vaccinated. So the bottom line is, Aaron circumventing the rules.

You guys are all you fanboys with Aaron Rogers who always come at me. You're out. You banged on Kirk Cousins. You banged on Wentz. I'm banging on Aaron like I banged on them, like a banged on cam. Is it a quarterback is different. It's why Baker Mayfield, when I saw the video of him running from cops in college, if he's a middle linebacker, I don't even sure if it makes my show.

But when you're the quarterback, it now makes the show. It makes me question your judgment. James Winston, college antics. If he's a receiver, it doesn't make my show. I don't care. But when you're a quarterback, judgment is everything. This is the selfishness. And I'm, you know, I don't love mandates in America.

I think we should all be able to make choices. And then there should be repercussions of those choices. My bosses, I need to be vaccinated at Fox because otherwise it's hard to get in the building here. And I'd be tests more here. And so I made a decision because I worked closely with people is I don't know their family situation. and their kids and there could be health extremities that I don't know. So I thought I'd be a better coworker if I got it.

And, you know, I read as much as I could and I thought I'll do it. But I thought about other people because we got a bunch of families in. They got kids and they got grandmas and grandpas and a pandemic. And that's why I did it. I don't know what's love. I don't love mandates, but I do think there are certain positions in life that you have to consider somebody beyond yourself. And I think quarterback, I'm going to hold you much. more accountable for your college missteps and for not getting vaccinated.

Because now you just, you could blow up a season. Good God, what if he can't play against Mahomes and Russell Wilson? It's your second playoff games on the road. Good luck. Good luck winning that Arizona again. So also, I just got a text. It is not my source, but it's somebody I trust. Keep your eye on OBJ in Cleveland.

We could have news out of Cleveland today with OBJ's future as a Cleveland Brown. I do not know. I generally want two sources. I've got one saying he could be cut. I have to validate it over the next eight minutes. But I'm just telling you, there could be news on OBJ. I think they're tired of them. I think they're done with him.
