Good night, sleep. A lot of energy. We're bouncing all over the country today. New York. Steeler Camp. It's such a good time of the year. Such a good time, J-MAC joining me as well. So one of the things I've said for years, you know, the hat on forward thing, which is sort of metaphorical.

I don't care who wears their hat which way, except quarterbacks when they go to the podium. And that's basically about maturity and understanding and self-awareness, right? Sure. And I've said this for years. I don't think DAC has a great arm or is a great athlete, but his... hyper maturity. He's an adult, yet non-emotional in big emotional moments. But he was getting sort of emotional yesterday because, right, like this is his last year guaranteed for the Dallas Cowboys. His contract will be up. And as usual, Dak was able to see through everything and land

a comment on his future in Dallas. It's a business. And, you know, when I'm going to say I want to be here but you know and you look up all the great quarterbacks I watch played for other teams so my point in saying that is

that that's not something to fear that may be a reality for me one day may not be my decision I love that I'm not afraid to go into the market love it here but not afraid and I think Dak would actually have a bigger market than you think

I think he'd have a bigger market than Tom Brady at the end I do I think he'd have a bigger market than Aaron Avengers or Russell Wilson I do. Russell, as we know, little cringy. Don't get that with that. A lot of drama with Aaron Rogers.

You don't get that with that. Tom Brady's age. Dack's only 31. Dak, you get no cringe, no age concerns, no maintenance, no drama, very productive, can win 12 games a year. His floor eight wins, his ceiling 12. Probably not a Super Bowl.

But, I mean, think of all these. really talented near the top of the draft quarterbacks. Cam Newton, Deshawn Watson, Baker Mayfield, a bit combative, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, competition and commitment issues. How much do they win? You know who wins? Jared Goff, Dak, Kurt Cousins, Jalen Hertz. The guys that don't give you a lot of drama, Justin Herbert's going to start winning a lot.

Is that if you ask general managers, they're looking for a coach on the field. they're not looking for drama and maintenance and passive aggressive. I mean, Green Bay moved off Aaron Rogers, and he just won several MVP's, darkness retreats. Guy coaches GMs, they don't want to deal with any of that nonsense. And so, Dax maturity, this is what I've been banging on for years. Hat on forward, say the right thing, put a wet blanket on a potential fire, all this stuff.

It's what GMs look at. I think DAC would have a really big market. I think it's highly probable that the Raiders and the Panthers and the Giants and maybe the Seahawks and the Titans would all be interested at the end of the season. So Dallas needs to know that. Oh, they'll be a market. It'll be bigger than Aaron's market. It'll be bigger than Tom's market. And you think, oh, that's crazy.

He's 31, 12 wins, no drama productive. Back doesn't even have great weapons now, and he had the number one offense in the league. And you can't give McCarthy credit, right? He's a bum. Everybody thinks he's a bum. Remember, 30% of this league has chaos at quarterback. You never have that with Dak. His floor is eight and eight.

Here's another thing. It's not a great college quarterback draft next year. Here's another thing. If 2N Jordan loves signed contracts, and they will, who's quarterback two on the market. That won't be any. It'll be Dak and Sam Darnold-ish players. So, Dax's going to have market.

That doesn't mean you necessarily have to overpay him. I don't have a problem. I don't like people that live in fear. Go to the college draft and draft somebody. But it's not a great college quarterback draft. It's okay. It's not great. There's not going to be a market outside of Jordan Lovin to assign.

And, you know, it's interesting. You can always tell your value in my business, your business, football business. What's your market when you're a free agent? What is your market? I think Dax would be pretty big. Six, seven teams minimum. And again, I was thinking about this last night and this morning. I don't want to pay him $60-some million, but he is really, like a seedy lamb, he's going to have a lot of leverage.

Here's Jerry Jones talking about Dax contract. I do not that this will be his last year with the Cowboys at all. It's pretty clear, I think. I want to say it if it hadn't been clear of how much we appreciate what Back Prescott has meant to this team in a positive way. But believe it or not, in my life, I've had a lot of things I wanted that I couldn't get because I couldn't afford it. Now, have I learned to live with that? In 80-something years, you better have. And life does go on.

Interesting. Also, Jerry was asked why he didn't give Mike McCarthy an extension, and he said, Green Bay. And I was thinking about that. Remember, they got humiliated, not just a loss, but humiliated, trailed 27-0-0 at home, the Packers got blown out by Jordan Love. But that Green Bay route, and two years ago, That Dax scramble clock management snafu, I can't unsee those and either can Jerry.

That just drove me absolutely crazy. Dax running down the middle of the field, not calling a time out, have to hurry to the line. You can't unsee that. And here's the thing with football coaches that's different than every other coach in America, different than hockey, baseball, and basketball coaches. There's very few games. And we watch football in America, college and pro. and with only one game a week, if you screw up,

we talk about it for the next six games. So one moment, one clock snafu, gets a lot of college and pro football coaches fired. I mean, Jim Harbaugh, first year at Michigan, and he's a great coach. First year at Michigan, five wins to ten. But he'd lose to Ohio State, end of the year, or a bowl game, and he'd get ripped for the next five or six months. If Harbaugh, the right guy, of course he was the right guy. He's a Michigan guy, doubled the win total, improved recruit. Of course, he was the right guy.

But until he won the Nadi, every year he lost Ohio State, the last big game that mattered, he'd get hammered. Doc Rivers has lost a lot of games, situational basketball games, playoff games. But there's a game tomorrow. He's been hired five times as a coach, despite that. If McCarthy doesn't work here, he'll never be a head coach again. Because it's the scarcity of games. It's the one sport we watch in America. And you can't unsee stuff.

And that Green Bay loss wasn't just a loss. And Jerry Jones said it yesterday. Why didn't you give him an extension? Green Bay. It was 48 to 16 at one point at home. It was 27 to nothing. And I kind of back Jerry Jones on this. And I like Mike McCarthy.

You can lose. But you can't lose like that at home in the final game of the year. We're not getting an extension. And that's what football coaches face that hockey, basketball, and baseball managers don't. One game a week, it lingers for six days until the next Sunday, and if you lose that last game like Green Bay, and in that fashion, you're not going to get an extension. And that's why Mike McCarthy, 12 wins, 12 wins, 12 wins is on the hot seat. Two plays, right? Like two games, one play in San Francisco and the game against San Francisco.

Green Bay. That's it. Those two moments is why. Jay Mack, there's a lot going on. We're going to go to Paris. Mark Few assistant basketball coach to Steve Kerr. Mark's been doing that year's Gonzaga coach going to stop by. He's in Paris. My kids are having a blast over there. It's a little warm.

Food's great. A lot of security. They're telling me there's a lot of security over there. Well, you've got to ask about Kevin Durant. But can we go back to Dack in this alleged robust market that you feel will be there? So it's actually a decent quarterback draft, right? Carson Beck at the top of Georgia. That's the guarantee. I know you're lower than market on Quinn Ewers, but he is very good

and promising, and he's considered a top 10 pick right now by a lot. Shedur Sanders is out there? Shadur Sanders has had a bad year of, hey, look at me. I'm Shadur Sanders. 100%. There are over half the teams in the league will be totally turned off by that. That's entirely possible. Now, he could pop again. Now, how about this kid? Jalen Milrow from Alabama. The tools are there. Accuracy's a little spotty. We'll see. But you mentioned this kid, Drew Aller, the Penn State quarterback.

He would be my second pick. Wow. He's still got a lot to prove. There's only one college quarterback that everybody likes, the Georgia kid. Well, yes, yes. But that being said, outside of like the five guys who could go top 10, Colin, like, if you're the Minnesota Vikings, you just saw them go like Sam Darnold as a bridge quarterback. Then nobody wants to pay a quarterback 50 mil.

And that's where I think he runs into a problem. the only team I see potentially going for DAC is the Vegas Raiders. That's really the only one. If they're drafting top three, they're taking a quarterback, right? They're not paying 50 mil for that. I think next year's quarterback draft. I think there's a lot of names. There is one that everybody likes.

This year, there were two that everybody didn't like, two that everybody loved, Caleb and Jadle. There were three that everybody thought could hit. McCarthy, Michael Pennix Bowenix. So you had five where there was very little negativity.

The kid at Penn State, Raw. Colorado, a lot of ego. There is one quarterback in this class. And so if you're not at the very top, Carolina is in such a bad division. You know, Cowboys or or Giants in a better division.

So Carolina could have the third pick. My take is they would probably go to market and that owner, David Tepper does not want to start over again. He wants wins. And remember, remember this is that a cowboy quarterback comes in well known. What does Carolina have to do? Sell tickets.

So, Dak Prescott sells tickets in college basketball, NASCAR, Heaven, Charlotte. He sells tickets. I guess my issue is like, okay, so Dak's going to come in at 50 mil. The Panthers already have garbage skill position players right there. one of the weakest. So, like, now you can't go spend because you're paying DAC all the money. I just, it's a tough one. Like, you pay a DAC 50 mil and there's going to be a lot of holes.

He's going to get more than 50. He'll get 60 on the market. Now, remember, this year, the cap went up like 14 million more than people suspect that it would. So 60 million will feel like a couple years ago, 55 or 50 million. But so that that is something to think about all this television revenue, all this gambling. all this gambling revenue is going to move the cap up. So 60 sounds crazy today, but it won't be in a year. 60 will be 50 in a year.

I'm just telling you, DAC is mature. If Dak wins 10 games this year, you're going to say he's won 12, 12, 12, and 10 mature. Who isn't going to like that that's in chaos at quarterback? If it's just again, Dak is like... What if San Darnal wins 10 games with the Vikings? By the way, ask yourself this. When my dad passed, you know, I learned a little bit about wills and, and when parents hand, you know, the money out, if they have any, and they pass, they're not necessarily always handing it out to the smartest kid or the nicest kid. They're giving it to the most mature kid who can handle dealing with the will, who can, the executor of the will.

the parents look at who's the grown-up of the kids who can handle it emotionally Dak maybe the best quarterback in the league at the podium since Brady retired and he was probably number two to Brady forever he puts out fires he says the right stuff David Tepper and Carolina is not going to roll the dice in a college kid when he's losing season ticket holders because they can't win games he's going to go get that really popular national name back from the cowboys and you don't think the Giants would be interested, you think they want to go back to the draft

and do another five years with a Daniel Jones knockoff? Brian Dayball, Dayball's going to say, I can win 14 games with that. He'll be 31, 32 at the time. By the way, Riley Leonard, a Notre Dame quarterback, who was it Duke? He is supposedly like in the Daniel Jones mold. So you can have, you know, discount Daniel Jones in the draft.

Listen, timing is everything. It's an average to weak quarterback class. And who's quarterback two on the market? Well, I'd say timing and price point. I think people are willing to pay. Look at Kirk Cousins, what he made. Price point's important. But Kirk Cousins and Dack, you're going to pay more than you want.

There are some things you're going to pay more than you want. Kirk is a great point. Didn't he get $40 million a year? And off a surgery at $39. Dax's going to be, Dax 31 today and no big health issues. And winning more than K. Kirk Cousins. I like how you spend money, huh?

I like that. No, I mean, there's certain things in life. Transportation. I'm going to spend what I'm going to spend. Quarterbacks. I got to spend what I got to spend. If I want Josh Allen or Lamar or Mahomes, I got to spend, I'll make it up on guards, linebackers, safeties, and slot corners.

Tide ends. I'm not going cheap on quarterbacks. Toilet paper, quarterbacks, transportation, don't go cheap. Be sure to catch live editions of the herd. Because Jordan Love is around the facility, but he doesn't want to practice and get hurt before the big contract. So I think Green Bay is really the most amazing story in American sports, if you really think about it. So Belichick and Brady, Mahomes and Andy Reed have, you know, they've dominated the trophies and the intention, attention in football for 20-some years.

But here's what's interesting. So Greenby's got no owner, which I think can be a real negative or a positive, but no owner to get on the phone and just make a deal. It's the least attractive free agent market for splashy free agents because it's a town of 100,000 or 105,000. very cold, windy weather. A lot of skill players don't want to plan that. Most guys would rather play in Miami than Green Bay. Sorry, it's true. And yet they've been the model of consistency in the NFL for 32 years,

smallest pro market. And I'm not sure if people realize, since Brett Farr arrived 32 years ago, they have the second most wins in the sport to New England. They've got two Super Bowl wins, nine conference championship appearances, and 23 playoff appearances in 30. years. That is insane when you consider now they're on their third quarterback. Their third starting quarterback. Be one thing if Brady hogged up 20 years or Mahomes plays for 17.

No, they're on their third. Nobody is more consistent since Brett Farve arrived with offense. They're the number one offense overall in the last 32 years as they're on their third quarterback. That's insane. Nobody does offensive lines better. Nobody does quarterback better, the most valuable position, little Green Bay. And think about that in terms of weather. They don't play indoors, and they don't just play outdoors. It's one of the coldest, snowiest, reasonably windiest markets in the league. Not great for offense, especially in a sport where Thanksgiving on is run when all the big games are played.

I mean, the sport's basically a tune-up for Thanksgiving on. December games, January games. Playoff games, February, season's getting extended now, so it'll end closer to March. It's just going to be colder in Green Bay. So to me, if you're going to doubt Green Bay on quarterbacks or offense, do it at your own peril. Both New York franchises a circus, big market D.C., big market Atlanta, big market Chicago, been a mess on and off for the last 32 years. I don't second guess Green Bay.

I don't second guess I'm on coaching hires. I don't second-guess them on offensive line decisions or quarterback decisions. I mean, think about this. Aaron Rogers, MVP, MVP, MVP leaves. They bring another kid from Utah State, and they had more touchdown passes, more yards, more yards per play, more touchdown scored, everything across the board. Replacing Aaron Rogers. I'm done second-guessing. However the hold-in works, whatever the Packers do, I'm good with it.

J-Mac with the news. No, no, no, no. on the news. This is the herd line news. All right, let's start with Kirk Cousins. He has officially been medically cleared nine months after popping his Achilles last season with the Vikings.

He wants preseason reps, but Cousin says he will not be seeing any live action until week one. I want to play, but I think that ass fell on deaf ears. I think, you know, Raheim's model is you're not playing. Like, that's just

not. And I don't know if I'm letting the cat out of the bag or anything but his approach was like that's just not how we want to do things um I'm sure maybe I could persuade him maybe there's a conversation who knows how the dolphins practices go maybe he wants to see us in the game there's it's just so much that can change but yeah I think seeing live bullets and playing is helpful but I also understand the logic behind not doing it and and you know everything we do is calculated and and that will be as well I don't play fantasy football here's my pro tip he's gonna have a great year

Kirk Cousins If you don't draft until like 9th or 10th Bad division Great O line, nice weapons Kirk Cousins is going to chop it up He's going to have a great year

Are you saying draft like in terms of fantasy football? If you're in fantasy football And you don't have one of the top five or six guys You're not sure where to go Kirk's going to that's like Outside of the Lions That's probably the best O line in the sport Oh

weak division Weakest schedule. I've said this. I could not tell you the last time I looked at a schedule. And a lot of the go-either-way games, Dallas, at home. Chargers, at home. Look at the games that you think, oh, that could be a tough one. Kansas City, at home.

Week 2 at Philly is the one game you look at and think, oh, they'll be an underdog in that one. They play every go-e-e-the-way game. Seattle, at home. All their go-e-the-way games are at home. So I love the optimism. Optimistic Friday. I said they're going to win 12 games.

So let's just put this in perspective. So Kirk Cousins, they pay him a ton of money, then draft Michael Pennix. That's right. Surprise Cousins and everybody. Brilliant. Love the move. Loved it. So now Kurt Cousins is not practicing at all.

We'll not see any live reps, right? Until week one. Michael Pennix will have the preseason. It's his show. That's exactly how it should be down. the first three weeks Kirk Cousins comes in, and now you've got to face one of the most expensive defenses in the league, then Eagles, I think in prime time, and then week three is the Chiefs.

So there's a world where Kirk Cousins, coming in fresh, is terrible against good defenses. Terrible. Hold up. They start 1 in 2 or 0 and 3, and they're like, hey, Michael Pennix was awesome in the preseason. Let's get him out there. There is a world where Atlanta Star has a massively rocky start. And if there's a panic, I would not be surprised if Kirk Cousins is like not starting by like November. There is no panic because Rahim Morris is a rookie coach. There is no coach

on the hot seat, got to win games. And also, they're not going to go 0 and 3 to start, even though I've lost more money on the Atlanta Falcons than any NFL team my entire life. Be careful with them. They're not going to start. If you look at the schedule, let's just say one and two, and then they reel off five straight wins. I mean, I do not think they're going to lose at home to Pittsburgh, but if they did start 0 and 3. That's in play. Derek Carr, Baker. Then it's a lot of double use.

We know prime time. Kirk Cousins is just, I don't want to diminish the guy, but he is mightily struck. Atlanta's media isn't Boston, Philly, New York, Chicago. It's not that loud. It's going to be very supportive. Very supportive. Oh, and three. You buffoons paid Kirk Cousins and drafted Pennix.

You wouldn't even take Bella check. What are we doing here? The media will be. The knives will be out. Very negative approach. Let's just say, I'll say they beat Pittsburgh week one, lose to Philly, probably lose to Kansas City. Probably. Maybe.

But remember, when you have the second best O line, it's hard to be bad with a great O line. You can beat average at quarterback. Dak as a rookie went 13 and 3 with the best O line. Jared Goff, get him out of L.A. It's amazing. He wins as much as Matt Stafford as he went to Detroit. Why? The receivers? No, the coach, no. The offensive line. Brady had great O-line. Packers just talked about most consistent team for 32 years outside of New England. Why?

Quarterback and O-line play. This show is going to do big numbers in Atlanta this fall when the Falcon's stake. They'll lose me a fortune. They are going to lose your fortune. I bet a hundred Falcon games. I bet you as an adult. I've won seven. So what do you think I should put on Eagles against Falcons Week 2? Like a mortgage payment? Is that a 5-29 plan? I'm interested. Right now live. What is the line on the Pittsburgh game?

I would imagine it would be Steelers favored by one and a half. On the road? So my take is, oh, Atlanta gets to be the dog. They love that. Kirk Cousins, that's such a great underdog. Oh, boy. All right, let's go to Cincinnati, where Jamar Chase is looking at Atlanta new long-term deal,

has not practiced in the first two days at training camp. According to Bengals coach Zach Taylor, Chase's absence is all part of a previously agreed-upon plan. We got a bunch of guys, like I told you guys yesterday, that we've got a plan for early in camp. Tee being that guy today also with Jamar. This is not contracted lady anymore? It's a plan that Jamar and I have. Is the plan for him to get a lot?

Brani was said to be viewed as the main guy on the roster, which many felt was undeserved, and his alleged preferential treatment prevented the team from building chemistry. Now, I'm on record as I'm a little dubious of this. Now, who's reporting this?

Well, it's an outlet that is not locked into the NBA, but I can see them putting one-in-one together that people do not like that Brony, who's averaging four points a game. I'd like to see the source on this. A lot of people have big opinions Is it a blog and the source for the blog Is another blog? That which is usually the case Blogs don't have any

Most blogs don't have sources Their sources are other media It's not a blog It's a media outlet It is not based in the US Oh okay yeah Yeah sure Not based in the league

In the country that actually has the league Well they do I mean like listen the Daily Mail A lot of people covering the NBA I'm reporting some tension on Manchester United My sources say it's very very turbulent there. I don't buy this story.

I would largely agree. That being said, you can see how there is some, there could be some frustration. You know, like, hey, wait a minute, wait a minute. So it's a British paper. Yeah. I think that's fascinating. I think because I think Russell, Wilson and Mike Tomlin are both kind of in the same boat. Like they both got rings. They've both been to multiple Super Bowls. But Tomlin has not won a playoff game in what seven years. And Russell hasn't won consecutive playoff games in 10. And so they both have, you know, reputations, you know, that there was a time Russell Wilson had a Hall of Fame shot about four years ago.

You thought he had a shot. Mike Tomlin may or may not get in pretty tough but Mike Shanahan's not in the Hall of Fame. It's tougher for coaches. But I will tell you that I think it's kind of fascinating because we talked about this yesterday and that's why I want to go to Steeler camp. Justin Fields is a really popular kid. He's a nice kid. He's popular.

He's going to be wildly impressive. And this Steeler team got a lot of young players. They're going to like him. Russell is rich. Not a galvanizer of a locker room. I mean, that's what history says. in Seattle and Denver. He's not a big galvanizer, not a big unifier.

I like him when I meet him. Orsia. I think they're fine. Like him. But whatever it is, you know, he's not going to have like 12 teammates at his wedding. Like that's just not how he rolls. And so Justin Fields is the opposite. Even to the last day, the top players for the bears loved him.

So if he starts getting reps and listen, we saw practice video for years, he is a world-class athlete. and he connects with a lot of the young teammates. It got me very, very interesting. So Mike Tomlin needs Russ to perform, and Russ needs Mike Tomlin support, because we were talking about this this morning as a staff. If Russell doesn't do well this year, where's he go?

He's not winning as much as DAC, right? Look at the quarterback's on the market next year, potentially, if DAC doesn't get paid. I think he will. I mean, Russell's not winning. He's not as elusive. His superpower, DAC's superpower is his maturity. and his unifying quality, his authenticity.

That's Dak, it's not his arm or his legs. Dak is the unifier. He's liked. He's respected. He's mature. That's his superpower. Russell's superpower was moving around. He doesn't move around like he used to.

So, I mean, every top quarterback has a superpower. Lamar, it's his feet. Josh Allen at size. Mahomes at arm. And so, like, if Russell doesn't win this year, what's his market? Now, Tomlin doesn't win this year. Let's say they go 8, 9, 9, 9, and 8. he could get a job in five minutes in the NFL or at a network that has the NFL.

I don't worry about that. But I think it's an important year. Like they would both love to get a very big extension. And as good as Mike Tomlin's been, we just saw Bill Belichick get fired. Andy Reid's been fired. Pete Carroll's been fired. John Harbaugh was on the hot seat before Lamar Jackson. We've seen Jim Harbaugh get in trouble in San Francisco.

And now you've got this team My kids are over there by the way They're loving it unlike you They're not working they're just sponging off dad But you are over there right now Here's a question So when you look at the FBA rules, three point lines closer, you can camp in the key, you can goal 10, which I think the NBA should adopt.

How do you coach different? Is it hard to take NBA guys and say, guys, we got all sorts of different rules? Well, first of all, it's great to see you, my friend. Yeah, FIFA is a lot different. As it says, actually, we have our old film room kind of with different. phrases and words, kind of get the guys dialed in. But yeah, it is. You know, to be honest with you, it's much more like the college game.

There's probably 25% less possessions on average. It's a much more physical game. As you alluded to, you know, you can camp in the key like you can in college on defense. You know, the help side just stays in there. And then, you know, it's different. I mean, the NBA is a lot of isolations, get the switch, play against that. FIBA, there's a lot of cutting, moving, execution style offenses. So it's a big adjustment for this group, and that's what we've been kind of working through.

All your guys are rich, they're stars, shoe deals. You've told me before, though, a year like you. Yeah, sure, my shoe deals. But I always am kind of impressed how good the chemistry is with Olympic teams. Take me there. Why these stars all sort of say, hey, man, I'm in on this. Are you ever surprised by how, is it easy? I mean, it's been great to just be a part of.

I mean, they genuinely really, truly like each other and enjoy being around each other. It's not fake. I think there's just such a respect for each other's games. And, gosh, that's against a Gonzaga guy right there. That's LeBron going right at Philip Petrusive. Come on now. Who picked that highlight out? It's real, though.

And I think it's based out of respect. And then a lot, like, you know, these guys have played against each other, whether it's an AAU or, you know, obviously in the NBA seasons and in playoffs. and it's just, I think they just love being on the same team with each other. Now, the flip side of that, Colin, is they're such good guys and trying to be so unselfish. I mean, we've had to kind of remind a lot of them to just, you know, they play their game and play to your strengths. And, you know, take that, your instinct is to take that shot. So, you know, take it when that opportunity comes and not, you know, make a nice pass, just trying to be a good guy.

By the way, you told me years ago, you were so impressed with Kevin Durant, the person and the player. He's battling an injury. How do you and Steve Kerr kind of, you know, you don't want to put him out there if he's hurt, but I actually think one of the things you miss is a big that can shoot from the outside. Where are we with Kevin right now? Well, thank you for helping coach our team. We always appreciate that. Hey, he's had a couple great workouts.

He practiced with us. He's just been awesome through this whole process. just hanging in there and hanging in there. And hopefully, this week we'll be able to get him out there and see him in live action. We had a great scrimmage yesterday. It was lively, it was competitive, and KD participated with us.

And then it's just kind of about evaluating what he's capable of handling as well as fitting him in with a team that's been kind of rocking and rolling here. We've been at it for almost a month. Anthony Davis used to drive me nuts. The last two years, I think he's the most underrated player in the game. I think he got his body right. I don't know if you've ever coached him before.

I think he's been unbelievable in your 5-0 exhibition. Just absolutely, what do you make of him? He is just on fire the last two years. Colin, this is why I like you so much. Just out of nowhere, you come with just these brilliant, nuggets of information. He has been phenomenal, and I have not had the pleasure of being around him prior to this experience. He is just, I can't be, I don't think I've ever been as impressed with anybody just on the floor, off the floor, what he's doing for us defensively, what he's

capable of doing defensively, switching, dropping, protecting the rim. And offensively, he's done a great job of getting us extra possessions, crashing the glass. I mean, it's just been phenomenal. And we've been able to kind of bring him and bam off the bench, which is really kind of, you know, energized us. It's great to have those two. It kind of switches how we play and changes, you know, our coverages.

And it, unbelievable is my description of him thus far, and hopefully he can keep it rolling, because he's been a huge key for us. One minute left. Are you surprised LeBron is still this dominant? That's the other thing. I mean, and I want to talk about, I want to talk, LeBron and Steph,

just how impressive I am with just their approach to the game, man. I mean, what they've done for basketball and the example they've set for, I mean, I think the players that are playing in all these games, whether they're from America or from other countries, gosh, their preparation, their approach. LeBron gets in the gym and is ready to roll and doesn't do anything less than full speed

in any drill or any practice. And the best thing he does that I'm just so impressed with is he communicates. He's an incredible communicator on offense and defense and in every drill. And then Steph is just amazing also with just how hard he goes, how meticulous he is with his work.

He stays after practice. And it's just an absolute joy to watch his post-workout shooting practice. It's game speed at game spots, shooting game shots. I mean, you need to tape it for every young basketball player out there and just phenomenal human beings. To my favorite people, Steve Kerr and Mark Few, congrats. You look fantastic. Why don't you have a glass of Pino tonight?
