by today. So I have a believer, J-Mac, that there are certain personalities that are better fits with certain jobs. If you want to be in sales, for instance, you're probably being better as an extrovert, not an introvert. If you want to be in finance or accounting, you've got to be really into details. You can't be kind of loose on that. So there are certain personalities that matter. Do you agree with that? 100% agree, yeah. All right. So I think the personality to be a great NFL GM and to be a great visionary and marketer are two different personalities.

And this morning I'm reading a piece on ESPN about Jerry Jones and his practice facility, which is viewed as the best in the league. But it is also the practice facility. This story is incredible that gives fans the most access. And former cowboys have complained about it, saying they felt like fans. were staring at them as they worked out, poking, prodding. They felt like one said it was a zoo. And this article is fantastic. It says, Jerry Jones is quoted,

it's gold when those players go through our complex out there and the fans see them. It's gold. But set a player, you get randos, random people, constantly walking through the facility, and I'm trying to get a late-night workout or a hot tub in. It's a constant conflict in this article of what Jerry sees is great

and what players see as annoying. Jerry thinks the fans' presence inside the facility inspires the players and staff when clearly the article signifies it annoys them. Now, is this the reason the cowboys this year are struggling? Is this the reason the cowboys are struggling? Of course not. But it does show you this constant showmanship,

this fascination with his players being spectacles and touchable with the fans and the radio hits and the constant need. Revenue, promotion over everything it wears on people. Are the Cowboys just a Bubba Gump shrimp franchise with tackling? Is it all about merchandise and sales? I was thinking about this. The GM thing, first of all, Jerry's owner GM, the GM thing is a full-time job. The guys I know that are GMs don't sleep much. Secondly, Jerry sees Dallas

revenue in ratings and think it's working. But it's not really. For the GM, the mind, the ultimate success is Brett Veach, finding Isaiah Pacheco in the seventh round, not having to really pay much, yet getting massive production for four years. Every GM I know, value above everything, seeking value, film junkies, grinders, not impulsive. But to be Jerry and a billionaire, it takes a visionary and marketer and promoter. And, hey, a little light on the details, but hey, we'll make it work. And they're in conflict. What takes a great GM, the ones I know, these guys don't want, they don't care about.

team revenue. They care about finding players at a value proposition. Jerry, he likes players, especially if he's the one that wanted to draft it. Remember, they had to talk Jerry out of Johnny Mansell. Johnny Mansell didn't have what it takes, but Jerry didn't see the flaws. He saw the potential Texas kid Johnny football.

He had to be talked out of that by Stephen Jones. And my point is, your CEO can't be your C-F, Right? The person seeking diamonds in the rough probably shouldn't be the promoter to the mass market on diamonds. And that's where I think the conflict is. And over the course of time, the Cowboys have been incredibly insular. I mean, no GM in the league, if you read this story, thought, that's what I want. And yet, I bet you half the owners are like, brilliant. If you pay $70, not just 40 on the daily tour, you get a pin and a, you get a, you get a pin.

in an autograph from Jerry, and it's just, I get it, if it was, you know, a t-shirt shop in Maui. But it just comes across as, Jerry, you can't be a GM and an owner. You're really good at the owner part. You're really bad at the GM thing. Well, I haven't missed on that many draft picks. It's not just that. You're not creating an environment where you're keeping the thing the thing. So they're profitable, but they're not productive in January and February.

There are certain personalities that really fit certain jobs. And Jerry this year, and when Jerry gets unhappy, he does another thing GMs would not like. He pokes his coach. He goes on radio. He usurps leadership. He takes shots at them. No GM would sign up for that. But the visionary and the marketer sees big picture, I'm getting them all.

riled up. Albert Breer discussed that yesterday. I think he's felt the whole, like if you look at the way he's operated since the end of last season, it's been constantly turning the heat up. The all-in comment, even though they didn't really spend in the off-season, sending

Mike McCarthy into a contract year, which is very unconventional, making Dak Prescott and CD Lamb wait until the summer to get their deals done, not paying Micah Parsons now. I think he felt like I've got to turn the heat up on everyone in the organization because everybody here's gotten too comfortable.

Now he sees it in the middle of the season and it still doesn't look good. So what's he going to do? He's not turning the heat down. He's turning the heat back up. All right. I swear to you, I swear to you, I'm going to stop talking about Aaron Rogers as soon as I possibly can,

but this was interesting. One of the things I sort of laugh at on the internet is seeing Bitcoin Hustler lecture people like Warren Buffett on how finances work. Yeah, I'm going to go with the latter, not Bitcoin Hustler. hustler who also told me NFTs were a tree that would grow to the sky. I'm going to go with Warren Buffett and the stock market, which lucky enough, my dad was in it. I've been in it since 1988. I've done fine.

You keep hustling. But I saw this story and it's just, it's crazy. And I like Devonte Adams. And I think he can help the Jets. I don't think he's the difference between not making the playoffs and playoffs. They've already got a good receiver. But I like him as a player. He seems like a nice guy.

I've defended him before. Apparently, he gave the post-game speech after the last loss. First game. Been in the building four or five days. He gave the speech. Boy, does that scream, we have a lack of leadership structure? And what's funny is the Jets and Aaron Rogers thought he crushed it. Can you imagine this?

The Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reed, Mahomes, Travis, Kelsey, Chris Jones, Guy shows up in the facility four days, tough loss, and the new guy's like, hey, I got some things to say here. Yeah, why don't you be in the building more than like four days? Can you imagine Brady Belichick, Edelman, Gronk, tough loss, new guy in the building. I've got some thoughts on this. And Devante Adams comes from the Raiders, the most. Maybe one of the only franchises more dysfunctional than the Jets. I mean, I don't know.

If you look at the successful teams in the NFL, in any sport, there's a rank in file. Like in the NFL, San Francisco, Baltimore, Kansas City, you know what it is. Green Bay, there's a rank in file. The coach speaks. And then the quarterback, the franchise star quarterback, takes that message to the troops. With the jets, new guy in the buildings got something to. to say. And I like Devante, but

the Raiders are even more dysfunctional than the Jets, and Devante was at a functional place, and left it for the Raiders, so I question his judgment. And I like him. But this Bitcoin guy can't tell real estate guru

how it works. It doesn't work that way. And to me, I mean, is Hassan Reddick giving a pregame speech? in two weeks let's put fireman ed on the headset make some plays i mean what are we doing here there there's that's not how it works i mean you've already fired your coach you've already now in your second offensive coordinator and the quarterback who uses big words a lot is like i'm not really comfortable take it away devonte what he's been in the building five days what are we

from a losing franchise and i like him but uh... aaronz all smiles and using big words as they prepare for their next game. Every year presents its own challenges, and thankfully we're not to the denouement of this season. You know, there's still a lot of time left. I think it's important that we all just stay as sanguine as possible. You know, it's a long season. There's a lot of ups and downs.

Sanguine as possible? Is he manifesting that in his vision board? Okay. Yeah, it's just, I can like a player, but boy, do you lack management structure and leadership structure if the new guy in the workplace, where do you work in your law firm? I mean, on our show, the interns don't get a big say. Even if they're talented.

Like, you've got to kind of be in a room for a while, right? Well, he's not. He's an excellent player from a totally dysfunctional franchise and left a great franchise to go to the Raiders. And the last two franchises now Raiders, Jets are highly dysfunctional. And isn't it kind of errands loggeron? The whole thing's weird. The whole thing's weird to me.

Teams that are losing in this league, Dallas right now and the Jets, they're losing for a reason. It's not coincidence. It's not bad luck. J-Mack, maybe they'll call you to have a big pre-game. Hassan Reddick's going to be firing this team up in two weeks. Okay. How do you spell Danumal? I love Rogers, man.

This guy is a real, he's a real piece of work. By the way, do you think you could ever hang out with Aaron Rogers? No, it's just, we just, first of all, I'd need a thesaurus. I don't even under, I mean, this year, he's turned into a word snows. I don't know, man. I just don't know that we have anything in common at all. Like, I probably have a lot in common with NFL guys, but not Aaron Rogers. He's just, he's too different.

Don't you think that story is kind of, I mean, really? It's just, can you imagine? Somebody going into the chiefs, four days in the building, and everybody just steps aside and said, take it away, new receiver guy. Corim Hunt. Hey, D. Hop, take it away, D. Hop. And I like D. Andre Hopkins. I think he's a good player. He's not a burner.

I think Devante is more talented. But new guy doesn't get a set agenda or tell you how the world works. That's not what new guy gets to do. Working theory. Aaron Rogers to Devante Adams. Hey man, I got you out of Vegas. Do me a solid talk to these guys. I've been trying.

It's not getting through. I need you to talk to them. I guarantee you that's what happened. You think Devante Adams is going to just stand up in front of a team he just arrived at and make a big speech unless somebody put him up to it? And who else would that be? But Aaron Rogers. Yeah. A lot of things happening yesterday in the NFL.

None of the Bull last night. Kevin Rat and the Phoenix Suns came to L.A. Steve Ballmer opening a snazzy new arena, a $2 billion arena, something like that. Supposed to be gorgeous. I fly over it, haven't been in it. It looks very, very cool. Going to go to it pretty soon. And Clippers were controlling the game.

There was no Kauai, shocker. And, you know, Sons went on 11-0 run late. Kevin Durant tying jumper goes to overtime. Kevin Durant 25 points. But it's interesting. Is that Kevin Durant's career has kind of been reduced to nights like last night, where he has 25 points. He hits the big shot and they win in overtime.

And that has value in the NBA. Regular season wins. I mean, that's mostly Carmelo Anthony's career and he's a Hall of Famer, right? Hitting big shots in games that don't really matter big picture. It has value. But it's interesting. If you go back just six seasons, six. six seasons.

There was an argument. I didn't believe in it, but a lot of people did that even cover the league that KD was going to surpass LeBron James. You think I'm wrong? Back-to-back NBA finals, MVP's, Steph Curry taking a backseat, 30, 35 a night, beating LeBron when it really mattered in the postseason. That's what anybody really watches the NBA. And there were a lot of people, a lot of people that felt like, I didn't think he had the personality. or the sort of ascension or the mindset of LeBron, or a magic, or an MJ, or the late Kobe.

I thought he was more kind of a unique guy. Somebody on our show wants to call him kind of a wanderer. But I didn't think he would ever surpass LeBron, who every day of his life, you know, he treats as special in terms of basketball. And so Kevin Durant, he was there, though. I mean, the NBA ran through the Warriors, and it ran through.

Unstoppable KD. May through June, it was KD's league. And then he goes to Brooklyn to follow a friend. And then he goes to Phoenix. And these are franchises that are perpetually chasing really good franchises. Like, you know, the Nuggets or the T-Wolves now are a really good franchise. Good ownership. Good GM.

Good coach. Good roster. Boston. I think the Knicks last three years have been well run as James Dolan's been paying attention to the sphere in Vegas and gotten away from basketball. And, you know, Brooklyn and Phoenix, although I like. Phoenix's talent. They feel like they're always chasing the better organizations. But, you know, he got his feelings hurt. He moved on from Golden State. And there was a quote. In 2018, he told Zach Lowe, excellent podcaster, writer, he told Zach Lowe, I'm just not obsessed

with winning championships. It's not the only reason I play. I play for individual growth. And that's kind of exactly what his careers become. Individual scoring, individual moments, not a ton of team success. You know, it's from a museum to pop up at the mall. Like, it's just, it just doesn't matter as much. It's just kind of disappearing into the ether. And, you know, it's his choice. I'm not sympathetic.

He says he's not obsessed with championships. But it is remarkable to think just six years ago when so many people in the media and fans defended his move to Brooklyn. I always said, it's like Mahomes saying, you know, I got a buddy that wants to play with the Jets. I'm going to leave Andy Reid. you would go, are you out of your mind? And I said when KD left Golden State, are you out of your mind? He's not. He just has a different mind.

But last night is sort of what he's been reduced to. You know, nice night, good shot, beat the Clippers, new arena. Big picture. Not a lot of there there. J-Mack with the news. No, no, no, no. Turn on the news. This is the herd line news.

Go to the NFL and start with the Niners who have lost two of their last three. And they're really banged up. The injury bug getting to this team, despite the up and down years so far, Kyle Shanahan believes they have enough veteran leaders to stabilize the season. I mean, we got great captains. We've got a great team. I mean, there's not, you know, we've been in this situation before. We're not everything's going perfect and you're a little backs against the wall.

But our group, our culture, it's never really been an issue. We got a group to a bunch of good people that don't blame each. other and know what you've got to do after stuff like this. There's only one thing. You can sit and talk and evaluate all this stuff or you can get to work and find a way to be better than next week. Veteran leader. Well, they got a lot of veterans. They got a lot of veterans in that room. Are they healthy, though? Are they in the locker room? I'm going to tell you, my gut feeling is Debo plays, Jennings plays, Trent Williams plays. Can I read you the injury report from the Niners yesterday? Well, that was yesterday. That was Wednesday. These are pro athletes. They'll play

Sunday. So go ahead. Juan Jennings did not play. George Kittle did not practice. Jake Moody, by the way, they're down to their third string kicker against Brandon Aubrey, who's the best kicker in the league, probably. That's just an element. Debo Samuel did not practice. Trent Williams did not practice.

He was resting. A lot of the Kittle rests a lot. So, you know, a lot of these coaches, they give their big old offensive lineman time off. I am feeling major buyer's remorse from betting the Niners. I like San Francisco. When a great organization with good players gets kind of humiliation, They almost, and I'm not talking losing. I mean, Minnesota lost to Detroit.

They weren't humiliated. It was a great game. But when, like Houston lost to Green Bay, there's no humiliation. Great teams, great game. But when you go to Kansas City, you're hosting Kansas City. They come into your place and you are offensively dysfunctional. That team is going to be so centered this week. Watch San Francisco.

They may be injury-plagged. They're going to play one of their better games of the year. I would hope so. I don't remember if this is in headlines. So I have some numbers. Mike McCarthy is one of the best coaches in the last 20 years off of bi. Some of the numbers are incredible. So I just put that out there.

I'm just curious. Have you ever had pneumonia, by the way? I was kind of a sick kid. I was sick a lot. Okay. I don't remember if my mom told me I had a lot of stuff. So Debo Monday Hospital fluid in his lungs. Even if they're able to get that out, clear it, you think the bounce back to play in an NFL football game in six days is possible?

I just know professional athletes who spend eight hours a day working out and getting in shape around excellent medical supervision heal much faster than us. A 26-year-old in elite 0-001 percent shape in the world heals much better than I do after too many cocktails on a Thursday night. Next up is the L.A. Chargers. I did not realize how bad their offense has been. Holy cow. They haven't scored a touchdown in the second half since week one. What is happening to Jim Harbaugh's offense? I know they don't have skill position guys,

but after that tough loss to the Cardinals Monday, Harbaugh is staying optimistic heading into a big matchup with the Saints. You'd be singing out of the, you know, singing with the choir with, you know, like they would have, could have, you know, should have, if this, if that. But, you know, it really looked,

it took like watching it three, four times all sides. of the ball to turn to him book to we were better we were better we got better yeah I mean they basically were a fumble away from winning that game that fumble at the two yard line which it happens you know it's not like the guy didn't have the ball secure somebody knocked it out of his arms they were I mean they quarterback through for 349 yards we knew what they were going to look like coming into this season offensively challenged well coached better coached physical, run the football would be a priority.

And when they do run, they win. And when they don't run, and what's happening is there's a little bit of a blueprint to beat them. Stack the box, force them to throw. Herbert will have 300 yards, but they don't have playmakers over the top. And so, I mean, this last game, he gets to Arizona, they missed Quentin Johnson, who may be a bust, and they missed him. Also, there were three fumbles in that game, and Arizona landed on all three of them. Remember the early pick by the Chargers?

The big guy gets stripped. Arizona gets the ball back instead of a red zone position. So, interesting game against the Saints. So I'm looking at the Saints injury report. This is what I do all week. There's center, Caesar Ruiz, who's been out, and they've been hurting without him. He's back at practice. Chris Olivae back at practice from the concussion.

Tassum Hills back. Alvin Kamara has like a broken hand, but he's practicing. They're getting healthy. But it's going to be Spencer Rattler. Sounds like under center. not the kid from Fresno, Jake the Snake. Yeah. I like the Chargers, but with this offense,

Colin, we got numbers here. They have the second, sorry, they're averaging an NFL low 5.7 points per game in the second half. I know. And they're favored by seven. So that tells you is Harbaugh and Justin Herbert on script are generating a little bit of offense. But when you've got to add libid, they don't have playmakers.

So they just do not have playmakers. Ladd McConkey is a number. Nice, number two. He's a slot receiver, but they need an over-the-top guy. That's why I thought they'd be in the market for like a Cooper Cup or a Mike Williams somebody. They just, they, because I don't, I think they have a real chance to end up as a wildcar team because I think they do things.

They're great with special teams. That may be the second best kicker in the league. They have a great head coach. They have good tackles. They can run the ball at times. Herbert's excellent. Bose on the edge. Kalea Mack.

There's things they do well, but their margins are so thin because they don't have, you know, the great teams in this league get an occasional free touchdown. A.J. Brown just beats a guy down the field. Instead of a 19 play drive, you get a three-play drive. You need those to get to the next level. They don't have any freebies. You know, Dodgers are very reliant now in their bullpen. You don't want certain guys in the bullpen having to pitch a third time in a game six and a game seven.

So if you told me it's a five-game series, you feel like it's an advantage to the Yankees. But I will tell you this, you start looking at the Dodgers postseason batting averages on-base percentage. Man, this lineup is versatile. I mean, Mookie Betts can literally play four positions. Tommy Edmund. It just move them outfield, infield. it's just crazy. You know, in the NBA for the last decade, it's been kind of positionless. I mean, like, centers are centers, but Yokic is like a center point guard. And you see this a lot.

Like a guy is, I mean, how many true number two guards are there? So you've got to be able to handle the ball as a guard. I mean, obviously Mike Conley is a pure one. But I mean, like Jalen Brown, he's a forward. He could be a, I mean, Jason Tatum can put it on the deck. He could defend a two, but he's, but he's a forward. And that's like, like Derek White, you just kind of positionless basketball, right? Like guys can play multiple positions. Obviously, Magic Johnson walked in, rookie year played center against the Sixers and dropped 42. I mean, that was just a, he's a different all-time unicorn.

But, I mean, some of these, the Dodgers have so much versatility in this series. Can they get enough outs? Ten best players in the World Series, top of next hour, plus Greg Co. Sell, bet football, fantasy football, want to get smarter in football, Greg CoSell. So I know what you're going to say. If you really follow Matt LaFluor coach of the Packers, Robert Salad, just fired coach of the Jets, they're friends. They were roommates.

Central Michigan. But yesterday, very, very publicly, Robert Sala's now at Matt LaFleur's practice. They're going to use them. It's a fluid role. Oh. So let's just think about the Packers. This is their best defense in years.

They just hired a new defensive coordinator. They lead the NFL and takeaways. They don't need Sala. And I like Sala. They don't need him. And they're not going to put him in that room and disrupt. this new defensive coordinator. Sala's a defensive guy.

They don't need them on offense. They're number six in the NFL in offense, and that's with Patrick Willis starting multiple weeks. I'd argue it's the first or second best, Malik Willis. I would argue it's the first or second best offense in the NFL. They don't need Robert Sala. But they made sure strategically and publicly, Matt Lefleur brought him over.

Come on in, cameras. Take a look at Robert Sala. Well, call in their friends. Green Bay doesn't do stuff like this. That's not what Green Bay does. But Lefleur and Robert Sala have a through line, Aaron Rogers. And so Aaron Rogers, many believe had a say in getting rid of Robert Sala, Matt LeFleur publicly. Yeah, why don't you come over to a winning franchise?

The idea that you'd bring over a defensive coordinator, because, you know, we want his opinion on our offense, which may be the best offense in the league. With Malik Willis starting multiple games, they're like sixth. So they're going to probably end up best offense. They were the best offense in the league Jordan Love was last like 10 weeks last year. And my guess, as all these young players are getting better, they don't need a defensive coach in the meetings. And they didn't put them on the defense because they have a new D.C.

And he's crushing it. Strategic, there's a reason. I don't want to hear they're just friends. Folks, you know how many friends Andy Reid has in the league? league. Would Andy Reid? Andy Reid could actually, hey, our offense kind of struggling. Patrick Mahomes is struggling. Matt Nagy. You got a buddy that's a quarterback coach. I got duties as a head coach. Green Bay is not struggling anywhere. It's one of the, it's actually, it right now, it's a young staff, it's a smart staff, but they made sure, and LaFleur made sure. The winning

Packers, oh, we see value in him. And I'm not doubting their great friends. I mean, the best man at the wedding friends. Like I, and I love Lafleur, and I like Sala. I don't know if he's a head coach, but I think he's easily the best coach on the Jets. The Jets' defense has not played nearly as well in the two games he's been gone. So I said it when they fired him. That's a dumb move.

You never let the best coach on your staff out the door. In the middle of a season, you're going to give him to somebody else? What happens if your rival picks him up? I mean, what if Gerard Mayo just said, I'll take you? I mean, seriously. What if you're like, hey, Buffalo Bills, McDermott's like, I got my hands pull. Can you come give us a fresh set of eyes on defense?

That's not a smart move. You can let go of a Brandon Staley in the season. But Robert Solicke and coach. Here was Matt LaFlewer on bringing him and using him in Green Bay. He's helping us on the offensive side of the ball. I think that's always a good deal to have that perspective, that defensive perspective on that side of the ball. So just taking a look at some of the things we're doing.

I think it's a good opportunity for, I mean, him to learn and also for him to help us and give us perspective on how teams might see us, how they might defend us. You know, I'm just being cynical, Colin. My daughter told me last night she was having dinner with a friend, and I said, hey, I was going to go for a walk. You want to go for a walk? So I went over, and she was having dinner, and I stopped by. Did not pick up the tag. Did not pick up the tab. You know, she's got to roll her own boat here.

did not pick up the tab. But she said, you know, Dad, I saw you on TikTok. I don't watch your show. I saw you on TikTok. You looked a little angry. So I don't want to be that guy. I want to be happy and smiling on TikTok. And maybe I'm being cynical.

But Lefleur had to deal with Aaron's nonsense. Sala got thrown under a bus. And so Lefleur's like, come on defensive coach. Why don't you help us on offense? Yeah, you see that all the time. People were bringing Brian Flores in in the middle of a season. to help with the offensive strategy. Am I being sorry, TikTok, smiling.

Am I being cynical on that? That seems like to me there's a through line there. One guy got screwed over, bro. I know what it's like. And we'll bring the cameras, we'll make it public, we'll have a strategy. They call it his role is fluid. That's a good theory. I like that.

I told the staff, the staff looked at me this morning, well, they're friends. So what? Everybody in the league's a friend with Annie Reed. Everybody's got friends. A team that's got their offense, Jell, and their defense is the best that's been in years, does not need a coach on the staff. And I'm saying that as a compliment to Green Bay. The GM smart.

Martin Murphy's smart. I love their offense. I mean, nothing Green Bay is doing. Hell, they won with Malik Willis. A guy that Tennessee just said, we're not interested. They're like, yeah, we'll go win games in the NFC with him. My initial thought was, okay, in the event they have to face the Niners. Sala knows the kind of defensive strategies.

They employ the schemes. And Sala did a great thing. great job against the Vikings in that London game. The defense, remember? That was Aaron Rogers who screwed that game. Yeah, but not Robert Sala. Lafleur is bringing him for the offense. That's why your theory works better than mine. Yeah.

Yeah, he's not bringing him for the defense. He's bringing him for the offense? Would you really bring Matt Nagy on who'd been fired as a Bears coach and say, you know, I wanted him over on the defensive part of the staff because I like the way the offensive guy sees the defense. So just ask yourself, this. If you, if I worked with somebody and they were incredibly difficult and they left and we got better at business and then that guy who was difficult went and screwed my best friend over,

you don't think I would send a message, let's bring my friend back, put him on the payroll. Listen, this is not what happens in the league. When's the last time a coordinator was brought in on a red hot team on the other side of his expertise? So this is. This is. is a subtle shot at Rogers. It's like, Hey, Rogers is a jerk, okay? We all know that. Come on, Rob. Let me throw you a bone here. Come hang out in Green Bay.

But he doesn't want to tinker with that defense because the new guy is doing tremendous. He's doing an excellent job. Their defense. I know you said, you know, Stroud versus Love was a good game. Texans had like 190 yards of offense. That's it. They couldn't do anything outside of mixing.

So tell me, give me the example. When Matt Nagy got, and Matt Nagy's, a lot of people like McNaggy, one of the nice guys in the league. And Saul is a great guy. Not all coaches are great guys, but Nagy's a great guy. Saul is a great guy. I've texted with Robert before.

He's a wonderful guy. And he's a funny guy and people like him. You wouldn't take Nagy and put him on your defensive staff in a fluid role. What do that mean? I'm starting to like LaFleur a lot more now. You know, the job he did with Malik Willis was tremendous. I like him. I will be honest, when he first got the job, I was like, oh, they're winning.

But it's Aaron Rogers. He's the MVP. We all thought that. Anybody could do that. And now, here we go, Jordan Love emerges. is a real player. Malik Willis comes out of nowhere and does well for two games. Packers are a real threat in the NFC. I, the floor's warming up to me. I think he's doing a great job. So do I. By the way, this was interesting. Speaking of sending messages, and I'm not a conspiracy

theorist guy, but John Mara, co-owner of the New York Giants said yesterday, he has confidence in Brian Dayball, the coach, and Joe Shane. He will not be making a move. Now, I'll ask you, who do you think and he's taking a shot at? So I guess Daniel Jones is the logical explanation. No, no, no, no. Who does he share a stadium with but battles market share and attention? Oh, the Jets. Yeah, yeah.

So the Jets are a circus. John Mara comes out and says, out of the blue, just to let everybody know, we won't be making moves in the front office and with our coach. And by the way, you can make an argument that the Jets have the better roster than a Giants. the Jets have the better off. Jets have more good skill people than the Giants do. It's Malik neighbors and cross your fingers. I would argue the Jets have, in my opinion, a better general manager than the Giants do.

The Jets have a lot of things that are better. They're better at quarterback. And right now the Jets are better at left tackle because Andrew Thomas has heard. The Jets are better than the Giants in a lot of areas. Hold on, Colin. Is this the dreaded vote of confidence that you hear a lot about? It's weird that he would come and say this in the middle of October. Why would he do it?

To take a shot at the Jets, yeah. Why would you bring Sala on your offensive staff? Why would you do that? It's amazing what people will believe the earth is flat, but they can't connect the dots on this stuff. This is the Giants sending a message. The Yankees don't make a lot of moves. We're not going to make a lot of moves.

Let the goofy jets and the always disappointing Mets be in chaos. And you could say, well, I mean, they share the stuff. stadium, they're battling for tabloids. They're battling for relevance. I mean, there's advertisers battling for sweets. I mean, you know this. New York's a competitive market. I don't care if you work at the same firm. You can work at the same Goldman Sachs firm. You're competing within that firm. Like, that's New York. It's hyper competitive. How many pieces of that smart gum did you pop this morning? Look at that. Back-to-back theories. Was it a cigar night last night? What's going on here? No, no, no, no. It was, oh, my God. Did I have a night last night?
