Find your local station for Covito Enrich at Fox Sports Radio.com. or stream us live every day on the IHeart radio app by searching FSR. That's us. Wednesday with CNN on FSR, and as Kvino says every week, I don't know what it means. But we're going to turn this hump day into a hump night,
Starting point is 00:03:15 and I'm saying? Yeah, we're going to get you so fired up. That's good. You'll be ready for tonight. Yeah. No freak off, though. That's weird. No freak off.
Starting point is 00:03:23 I don't know what that's all done. However, it is the freak off rage of 2025. I don't even read the ditty stories. They're so disturbing. I'm just wondering. You know what? What are you wondering? Don't even tell me.
Starting point is 00:03:35 I don't even want to talk about it. Yeah. Freak. Yeah. He's a freak. He's a freak. The details are surfacing. Did he?
Starting point is 00:03:42 I think he did. And I think he went too far. Anyway, I'm Kavino. That's the freak off King Rich Davis. What up? And we be rocking out. Let's go. 87799 on Fox live from the Fox Sports Radio Studios.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Now every Wednesday, a little midweek major. to get you all fired up and ready. The biggest stories in the world of sports and pop culture, we break it down, are the mid-stories, week stories, or major stories in the news. Midweek major, we do it every Wednesday. We're going to talk Bill Belichick today.
Starting point is 00:04:15 There's some stories about him. We're going to talk about Jaden Daniels. Is he a man or no? He is the man. Is he a man, though? He's the man. I'm not questioning his gender. It's something his mom said.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Right, right, right. Well, we'll talk Jan and Daniels. And you know what? Today is like a holiday for a lot of NFL fans. It's not Newty Magazine Day. It's Schedule Day. 8 p.m. Eastern. Holiday.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Five Pacific. We're going to get all the games. In fact, Travis Kelsey already mad about it. Did you see that? Well, we'll get to all that coming up on the show. What's he mad about? That guy has no right to be mad about anything except for losing a Super Bowl last year.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I mean, the guys living the life. Taylor Swift is making him homemade Pop-Tarts. He's doing commercials. He's mad. The guy's making hundreds of millions of dollars doing a podcast a few times a week. And he's dating the most. popular girl in the country. He's mad. He should live in my...
Starting point is 00:05:03 What am I rocking? He should live in my Adidas sneakers for a day. Are those the Adidas who died? I died them, yeah. I bought gleaming white Adidas for an event we had to do. We had to do that a Tesla commercial with Dallas Goddard. I'm like, I'm never wearing these again, so I dyed him gray. Some
Starting point is 00:05:19 writ dye. Very DIY of you. Yes. I did it myself. D... I was saying, it's a fun fact about Steve Kavino. There's probably millions of people that do what he does, but I don't have any friend other than him. What do you think? I'm the only guy keeping Ritt dying business? No, but he's the guy that's like, yeah, this jacket, I don't like it anymore.
Starting point is 00:05:37 So he'll dye it, and he's like, it's like a new jacket. Yeah, why not? Why not, bro? Hey, I'm into arts and crafts, all right? Back off. Guy hangs out of Joe Inns. Yeah, well, hey, rest in peace, because she's out of business. But anyway, we have lots to get to Nick Cage and Christian Bale in the news. Let's dive into that right now. Let's start the program. Well, first and first, mostly rich, I do want to say, again, we are live in Los Angeles, Fox Sports Radio.
Starting point is 00:06:03 But you could stream our show and all the Fox Sports Radio shows live 24-7 in the new and improved IHeart Radio app. You got to search Fox Sports Radio in the app to stream us live. And the newest feature is you could select Fox Sports Radio as your number one preset. That's our rule. Number one, just like the presets on your radio dial. So again, take it wherever you go. And if you have buddies, you're like, I don't get it. It's on the IHeart Radio app for free.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Tell them to get the app and there you go. Yeah, like my bird brain softball buddies. Dude, every time I hear you show, it's great. Oh, but you're not on in L.A. Go on the app, you moron. I mean, friend. Go on the app. How about the app, you big dummy?
Starting point is 00:06:43 I mean, dude. Get your head out of your ass. I mean, just it's right here on your smartphone. All right. You said Nick Cage. You said Christian Bell. Who, where? Why?
Starting point is 00:06:54 Nick Cage, our national trip. He's not looking for the Declaration of Independence. He's looking for a turkey leg. He's because the picture has come out and it's gone viral today. If you haven't seen it by now, what are you a moron? I mean, what are you living under a rock? John Madden played by Nick Cage and I think even more impressive looking. I got to hear his boom.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Boom! Yeah, he had to have nailed the boom in the audition. I want to see him tough acting to actin, boom. I want to see his foot on fire to see if he really brings the truth. spirit of John Madden. Boom. Boom. Let me hear your best boom.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Boom. You're not bringing the boom. It's more like, boom. Tough acted. Ten acted. Not bad. Boom. It's a boom.
Starting point is 00:07:38 But I think more impressive than Nick Cage playing a young John Madden in this one picture we've seen is Nick Cage. Nick Cage as John Madden, but Christian Bale as Al Davis. Yeah, it looks great. Looks so good. Danny Chee, you're a Raiders fan. In fact, you got a Raider's shirt on today. You got to look at that and say, what a cool casting, right?
Starting point is 00:07:59 Oh, for sure. Yeah. I mean, two big stars representing two big, huge personalities from the NFL. Well, I got to give advantage to Christian Bale because he's known for really getting into character and taking things next level. Yeah. I'm not saying Nick Cage isn't one of the greats, but he's so famous in his face is so Nick Cage that it's going to be hard to not see him as. High McDonough from Raising Arizona. Third down.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Yeah. Isaac approves. Isaac approves. Who, where, why? Why would you do that? We're playing the Broncos. We don't talk about that movie enough, Covino. What, Raising Arizona?
Starting point is 00:08:44 I love that. Greatest chase scene of all time with the diapers and the convenience store. What are you talking about? You got a penny on your head. We joke on our Patreon podcast. When they do a one shout at me, fart is written on the wall behind me. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:09:00 From Raising Arizona. I'm in trouble with the wife. I love that. I love that movie. And because Nick Cage, and like I said, his face has been famous so long, it's almost hard to separate.
Starting point is 00:09:11 So he has to really pull it off next level. We've interviewed Nick Cage, not to name drop, not to brag about it. But honestly, no, no, no, no. This is the reason I bring it up. The whole time I'm talking that guy,
Starting point is 00:09:23 I'm like, his face is so famous. I couldn't really get into the conversation because... Go on, Kavina. He's like, oh, yeah, yeah. Why is he turning into Keanu Reeves in the late 80s? It's just his face was too famous for my eyes. So for him to be John Madden,
Starting point is 00:09:40 he's really going to have to do something special where we know Christian Bale is capable of transforming into these characters. He's one of those method guys that really lives into it. So he will be Al Davis. how John Madden will Nicholas Cage be or is he going to put his own spin on it? So I can't wait to see, but...
Starting point is 00:09:59 And by the way, it's the first time we're seeing images of the movie. Nick Cage, around the room. Best Nick Cage movie. I'll let you pick too. I'll let you pick two. Really? For me, I fell in love with the dude from watching, Raising Arizona, H.I. McDunner.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I thought he was great in that movie. we got a family now, huh? Things have changed. He's stealing diapers. It's a great movie. I'm going to give you two that might not be on your radar. So you're saying Raising Arizona. Yeah, it was great.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Spot, I know you're going to say, of course, national treasure. That's, you, you know. That wouldn't be my top two. Even though I watched it, like, I love both of them. I think both of them are great. And I love that kind of movie, but they wouldn't be my top two. I'm going to go, family man. Oh, I think it's just a movie, man.
Starting point is 00:10:51 movie with heart and very underrated movie. The family man is such a great movie because it makes you think about the choices you make in life. And then I'm torn between Peggy Sue got married was a classic for some people. And wasn't Jim Carrey a young Jim Carrey in that movie? Yeah. And then I'm torn between Conair and Face Off. Face Off's a good one. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:11:12 How about The Rock? That's mine. By 1996. The Rock is top of my list. And also an underrated Nick Cage movie, it could happen to you. Oh, that's very sweet. That is a nice one. That's a nice one.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Gone in 60 seconds. Oh, that's another. Fantastic movie. If you love cars, you love Nick Cage, you love action. This dude has had so many classes. I think we just like Nick Cage,
Starting point is 00:11:34 and he gets some heat every once in a while, but I like a lot of his movies. Wasn't he in Ghost Rider? He was in Ghost Rider. Bangkok Dangerous. Dude, I don't know. Even bad movies with him, I kind of like. He's made some stinkers,
Starting point is 00:11:46 but he's made a lot of good stuff. Yeah. I mean, Moonstruck was a classic. great in that. Oh, kick ass. Oh, kick ass is really fun too. If I had a pick two, though, Rich, you said I had two. It would be raising Arizona.
Starting point is 00:11:59 And I do like face off because I love the whole Travolta cage thing going on. What about leaving in a minute? What about leaving Las Vegas? It's classic. It is. These are all great movies. Eight millimeter is a underage movie. Heartbreaking. City of Angels.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Make a cry. Sneaky good, yes. Famous Christmas movie, the family man. No, I said that. That was my number one. You know what? He's one of those guys that transcends generations. where you like Nick Cage movies.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Maybe your kid liked kick ass and a few other of his movies, but your parents probably like some Nick Cage movies too. So they'll be pumped to see Nick Cage as John Madden in this movie. Adaptation. Matchstick Men. By the way, the ultimate Nick Cage movie, if none of you have seen it, is the ultimate weight. What is it? Ultimate Weight of Unbearable Talent.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Is that the one with Pedro? Yeah. The one with Pedro, where he plays. He plays himself, but like an over-the-top version of, himself, which makes it 10 times funnier. Guys, this is crazy. Guess how many movies Nicholas Cage has been in? Real quick.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Round the room. 437. 62. 62. 92. 17. Wow. With six more in the works.
Starting point is 00:13:08 That's the thing. He gets some flack because he does make some stinkers. However, yeah. However, he's made a lot of great ones that we grew up admiring and it gets us pumped when we see these images from this John Madden movie. and when you have Christian Bail alongside him as Al Davis, it gets you excited about it. When you think Nick Cage
Starting point is 00:13:27 and you think about how he's going to do this movie, is this, because I don't know if we have even details, is this like an on-demand Netflix Hulu deal, or is this a theater movie? Are we going to the theater for this? I mean, I'm not, but I'm watching it. It takes a lot to get me to the theater these days. Yeah, to get me out of a season and take more than him as John Madden.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I like to stay home and watch a movie. I'll wait. I'll wait. I didn't even see Maverick in the theater. Is it a theater movie, though, you think? I'm looking that up right now. It's an Amazon MGM production. Guys, no offense to Nicholas Cage.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Somebody who I thought would have been great as maybe an older John Madden, John Goodman. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. By the way, they both start together in Raising Arizona. There it is. There it is. It all connects. Is that the movie where he crawls out of the mud?
Starting point is 00:14:17 Yes. It's been a long time, but I remember that one. John. they're all in prison together. Right. And they escape. Yeah, he's an ex-convict. So anyway, are you hyped about it?
Starting point is 00:14:28 Is he to Nick Cage? Like, I think what makes the smashing machine really cool with the Rock and it's getting a lot of hype as far as trailer. And this could be the Rock's big, Dwayne Johnson, Dwayne the Rock Johnson's big Academy Award winning performance is because, yeah, you know it's Dwayne Johnson. but they did enough to make him look like Mark Kerr. They did enough to make him look different where, yeah, it doesn't really look like the rock in the face. You know it's the rock. Are you going to be convinced that he's John Madden?
Starting point is 00:15:04 Let me hit you with some Nick Cage trivia real quick. It's a common one, so I know you know. Nick Cage's birth name. Nicholas Coppola. He's a Coppola. He's a Coppola. What was his first movie, his debut, a minor role in an 80s class?
Starting point is 00:15:21 I know this I do know this Oh Fast Times Irisham on High Bingo Way to go Iowa Sam Thank you I'm sorry
Starting point is 00:15:31 Javier Sam It's a great movie Which was filmed right across the street Right Yeah like the fun fact Before the gallery was built I think it was Or it was filmed in around there
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yeah Sherman Oaks Gallery Isn't that with Balli Girl was filmed there? That was a bunch of things It's before that mall was renovated Yeah So you know what he was great into
Starting point is 00:15:49 It was more of a sentimental movie obviously a sad one, but he was in World Trade Center. Oh, yeah, he was good in that. He played, he was, uh, that's a one and done sort of thing. Yeah, I only saw it once. That was a heartfelt movie, though. That was, that was beautifully done. And that movie where he could see the future knowing.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Oh, I love that movie. See? Nick Cage, huh? I didn't know this was going to turn into Nick Cage's celebration show. And it's a, you know why he does 100 and how many movies, Isaac? 120-something. 117 with six more to come. Yeah, but see what we're doing?
Starting point is 00:16:17 We're not talking about John Madden. We're talking about Nicolette. Cage. This is a movie that was meant to celebrate the life of John Madden. We're sitting here celebrating Nicholas Cage. He's an actor. He's too famous. No, no, no. That's what I thought about Adrian Brody, though, in winning time about the Lakers. That's true. He turned into Pat Riley right in front of our eyes. That's what I'm saying. This is going to put his chops to the test. I got to see past that face. I was going to say the reason he's done the 120 plus movies in the works. Nick Cage also known for like peculiar spending habits and odd
Starting point is 00:16:50 collectibles? He's got exotic pets. Like tombs and like relics of dinosaurs. Time to feed the ostrich. Like vampire. He's got like a python and like a hawk. He's an interesting guy, right? Yeah, he is.
Starting point is 00:17:03 I think he has a lot of Elvis stuff too. He's been married a bunch of times, I think. Yeah. You know what else I know about Nicholas Cage? If you've ever taken some sort of booze cruise in the Bahamas, they'd always point out like he lives right there in that area. They always say, that's the Michael Jordan Suite. And Nick Cage.
Starting point is 00:17:19 And Nick Cage lives over there. And Oprah. Yeah. I think he was avoiding taxes or whatever. He had a sweet spot. I remember seeing that a few times they pointed out that was Nick Cage's house. You know how a lot of times we talk about family trees and sports? Like, you know, siblings or father's sons.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Copulas go deep. I mean, the copolas go not only with Francis Ford and Sophia and Nick Cage. They go to Talia Shire, right? Adrian and, of course, the godfather. She's part of that family. And isn't Ben? And she's a known as. Isn't Ben Schwartzman?
Starting point is 00:17:52 Yeah, that's her son. Is her son? No, wait. Yeah, so Nick Cage is his... Patrick. There's just as... Jason Schwartzman. He's in Rushmore and...
Starting point is 00:18:02 Yeah, he's the actor. But also, you know, there is a Ben Schwartzman as well. They got a crazy family tree. Yeah. Wait, so Nick Cage is the hood of Jason Schwartzman? How is he related? Like his uncle? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yeah. Wow. They're like the Kennedys of the film industry. Because what is... So connect one more dot for me, Spot. Sure. Talia Shire and Nick Cage.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Cousins? Yes. Okay. Yeah, because she's a... Coppola. He's a Coppola. I think they're cousins. Well, hey, again,
Starting point is 00:18:33 Kavino might be right. We're talking more about Nick Cage than Madden, but if you saw the picture today, that's going to be the obstacle for this movie. It really is cool to see John Madden. And you know what? Kavino, you're sort of right, and I hate to say when you're in a checkered pants.
Starting point is 00:18:48 I hate to say when Kavino. knows right but my first thought when I looked at the picture I'm like oh look at Nick Cage dressed up as John Madden and then I said Christian Bell really is Al Davis I know yeah I know it's a stupid thought but it's the truth when you see the image it's Nick Cage
Starting point is 00:19:03 with 70s hair but who do who would you have wanted I know would you have wanted like the John Goodman as the older version I think he's too old he can play the older version though the video game and the commentator would you have wanted like a Thespian like a legendary I mean Nick Cage is a legend actor? Is he just too eccentric for your tastes to play a John Madden?
Starting point is 00:19:23 No, that's why this might be a great role for him. This might be really cool. Like, did you want like a Colin Firth? Not Farrell. Firth. That'd be a odd shit. I mean, like, yeah, what do you expect? You were getting a big name to play a big name. Hey, that's what you want. Yesterday, Kavino? You were raving about all your phone with chat GPT? What is chat GPT? Who do they think it looks like John Madden? Oh, that's a good one. Let me run that through. Spinal run that through the system. We're preparing for when we're replacing.
Starting point is 00:19:49 You know, it was kind of nice to celebrate Nick Cage's wonderful work because on yesterday's show, you guys were mentioning don't wait until actors or actresses pass away to give them their props. Yeah, la Pee Rose, he's dead. So what, he's not banned anymore? That would have been cool when he was alive. Exactly. So, yeah, we give Nick Cage's props now. And you didn't mention any Christian Bale movies. So what I took from the conversation, we all love Nick Cage and you guys don't like Christian Bail.
Starting point is 00:20:16 No, what I said about him, though, is you know he's going to bring. as much Al Davis as he possibly could. He's just one of those diving all the way in. He could bite an assistant's head off on the set. Right. Oh, good for you. That was Bell, right? Yeah, that was Christian Bell.
Starting point is 00:20:32 When he had his blow up. Now, best Christian Bell movie has to be Batman? Yeah. American Psycho. I loved him in the fighter. I think he was better than Walter. But what is Chad ChiPT is given me? That's four gallons.
Starting point is 00:20:49 So I put in John Madden as a younger coach versus an older broadcaster. So some of the David Harbor, who you know from Stranger Things. Jonah Hill, a bulkier version of Jonah Hill. Oh, boy. Jesse Plemons, who you know as Meth Damon, you know, the guy that looks like Matt Damon, but he played him. He was on Breaking Bad. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Matt Damon bootleg recently in Blackmun. And Carson Dunst is a husband, right?
Starting point is 00:21:13 And Wyatt Russell, who is Kurt Russell's son. He's been in a few movies. Yeah, I mean, a couple names you know, I think. Oh, Chris Pratt as well, if he balks up a bit. Casting directors are shaking in their boots. That's not bad. This is another weird thought, and I apologize. I say this respectfully.
Starting point is 00:21:33 I'll give you an analogy first. There's a funny, funny clip way back in the day of Louis C.K. Being interviewed by Jay Leno, and he says to Jay Leno, he goes, Jay, not to insult you, but you're the oddest-looking guy I've ever seen. He's like, you're the strangest looking fellow. And Jay Leno's just like, oh, yeah, yeah. And he's like, no, but really, he's like, your head is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. And your chin and no one looks like.
Starting point is 00:21:56 You're the most unique looking guy I've ever seen. And they have like a little like a burn for burn sort of moment. John Madden is a really interesting looking guy when you think about it. I'm not saying he's Jay Leno level. I'm just saying he's pretty unique. So when you're trying to figure out someone that looks like him, there's not that many people that you can picture crashing through a wall. in chickered pants to promote Miller Light. That's how I felt,
Starting point is 00:22:23 aren't they instilling the works of doing the Hulk Hogan movie and one of the Hemsworth brothers is playing the Hulkster? Yeah. And he's a weird looking guy, Hulk Hogan, right? He's a very unique guy, which I'm adding too. He was like big and dumpy-like. Flet face is kind of fleshy. Yeah, and nose and disco hair kind of.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Yeah, he's an interesting character. So when you're trying to think of, well, who can do better than Nick Cage? It's kind of a tough question because I can't really think of anyone that looks like the guy. True. Well, hey, there you go. You probably saw it today. Nick Cage and Christian Bale playing John Madden and Al Davis.
Starting point is 00:22:59 That movie's in the works. They started production yesterday. We got our first peek. And if you haven't seen it yet at Covino and Rich, if you want to see, we'll post a picture of Madden and Al Davis, played by Cage and Bail. Looks pretty cool. I told you I'm most impressed with how cool Christian Bale looks is Al Davis. You know, some jewelry.
Starting point is 00:23:17 the hair, the sunglasses. Like, he really, you can tell just from the picture, Christian Bell don't play. No, no. Like, he dives in. Yeah, so put it this way, guys. We're excited about the movie, not only because of the legacy of Nick Cage, but clearly John Madden as well. Who? Where?
Starting point is 00:23:36 Yeah. So. First down. First down in 10. Turducking. We will talk more about the NFL because it's schedule day. and the pressure. Who is the most pressure on?
Starting point is 00:23:51 I have the answer to that question. And we'll get to that. And, yo, could we be seeing a tease of the most watched regular season NFL game in history? I think it's going to happen. I'll explain. We'll talk a little schedule. We'll talk some Jaden Daniels. We'll talk about a bunch of stuff right here.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Kavino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio. Well, now we've got to talk about Travis Matthew. Travis M-H-E-W. Travis Matthew.com. Rich, we were talking earlier on our Patreon about, you know, your routine. And the first thing you do when you get home is you kick off your shoes and you take your pants off and put on something comfortable, right? When I'm wearing my Travis Matthew jeans, my flyweight jeans, my featherweight jeans, I don't feel that need to like, oh, I got to take these off because they're so, it's like wearing your pajamas to work. Starting point is 00:25:01 They're not quite dress shoes, but they're not sneakers. The hybrids, man. The hybrids. They're so nice. I almost don't want to wear them. You're not kidding. The featherweight jeans are fantastic. I bust them out when I have company over.

Starting point is 00:25:46 We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty well. wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember.
Starting point is 00:25:59 I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast
Starting point is 00:26:17 where people could call in and say, hey Jonas. and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
Starting point is 00:26:38 not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and Headwere writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform?
Starting point is 00:26:55 We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending,
Starting point is 00:27:10 opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. Starting point is 00:28:04 I'm Renee Stubbs. And on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay. Jen she went. I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina. But I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Listen, Lina Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now. And I actually can win on any surface. Because if she's serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only living,
Starting point is 00:28:48 but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And Betty, when you call me, me Al Davis. You're such a goon. I love it. Iowa Sam on the ones and two is playing some Paul Simon. I love the song.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I really do. It's a great rando-old. Did you play saxophone? Did you play saxophone to this? You have to learn this. It's part of the prerequisite. It's how Rich got all the ladies. Sax on the beach.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Ooh. He was so sexy back in the day. Rich Davis played third saxophone in March. It was so funny. When you were a kid playing instruments. Yeah. Kavino played the trumpet as a kid. I played the saxophone. And I mean, did you play a trick? Way to sell the show, man. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:30:00 People are like, yo, these guys are the coolest. But hold on. I have a question. I don't know. At least I played the drum. Is it not cool to play an instrument? What are you a loser? No, no, no. It absolutely is. But you know the stidmer. Yeah, exactly. I don't got a band nerd that would have whooped your ass in most sports. I'll tell you this. You're the cool guy. You're the Renaissance man. I'll tell you this. Rich was the exception.
Starting point is 00:30:23 I'll tell you this, I was Sam. I always found it baffled me that in high school, yeah, jocks were cool, right? But people made fun of people in band and people in theater. Meanwhile, when you grow up, who do people sweat? Yeah, not the flute player. Athletes? I'm sorry, they said athletes. The guitar player and the guy in a rock band, not the guy playing.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Not the guy playing sing, sing, sing in his high school band. French horn. Not the guy playing the tuba. We all played instruments. Kavino is adamant that like the trumpet was way cooler than the saxophone. I did. I love the trumpet. But there came a point.
Starting point is 00:30:57 A lot of the cool girls came out of the drama club. I had a, dude, I quit trumpet to play sports. You know what any drama club girls I got with because I was the only dude that wasn't gay in drama club? Jeez. I was, I was, that's a straight man's playground. By the way, Danny G. Superproducing at 87799 on Fox, Iowa Samuel on the ones and twos. Loencron, who plays the jazz flute is on the updates.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Elijah's here, Spotties here. We got the videos going at Covino and Rich at Fox Sports Radio. We got midweek major coming up, all your stories in sports and pop culture. But we have lots of football to talk about today too. Is Isaac in your top three Yasud players? It's Zomfier, Ron Burgundy and Isaac, right?
Starting point is 00:31:38 Well, to be accurate, Zomfier was a pan flute guy, but yeah, he's right up there. We'll get to his update in a second. But I got to ask you, who do you think has the most pressure on them today? it is NFL scheduled Wednesday. I would say probably Diddy. No, outside of...
Starting point is 00:31:56 Oh, outside? Yeah, because every news story has to do with Zitty. Diddy's freakouts, freakoffs. Freaky-deaky parties. Yeah, man. And by the way, it's wild. It's horrible, actually. It's horrible.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Terrible stories. I was going to say, who has the most pressure on them today? I was thinking of it. We mentioned it the other day, but I saw headlines on both Fox News and CNN. It's like mainstream news now where they're saying social media teams for NFL teams. Today's like they're, pun intended, Super Bowl, because when this schedule is released, as you know, every year now, it's a battle of what team has the most creative, has the most creative schedule release, and they see who gets the most views. In fact, the San Diego, now Los Angeles
Starting point is 00:32:43 chargers, did one where they replicated Sims, and that had 40 million. views. If you remember, some made like prank phone calls to do the other teams. How about the Titans famous one where they showed people on the street different NFL logos? That had a ton of views. So this is really like,
Starting point is 00:33:00 all right, social media teams, who's got the chops? And tomorrow, we're going to be talking about, man, you see this team, they're lame. You know, this is really funny. We have to make sure that we talk about this with the proper introduction. The rich loves to look at the schedule game. We're watching.
Starting point is 00:33:18 You know me. I love looking at schedule. So today is like a holiday for me. You're like way excited about it. I am. Dude, 8 p.m. Eastern,
Starting point is 00:33:26 I'm going to be already starting to map out what Niners games I may want to hit up this year. Who's coming to play the Rams or the Chargers in L.A.? I don't care what you're saying. I think this is an exciting day. No, NFL nerds. We're both wearing our team shirts today. Dude, I'm wearing my McCaffrey Brock Purdy NFL jam shirt. And as the schedule gets leaked, much like everything,
Starting point is 00:33:46 you think you're going to find it all out tonight. We've learned a lot already about the Eagles, really. I wanted to bring up two things. We got the whole Eagle schedule. Clearly we know that Travis Kelsey is unhappy about going to Brazil. Why? You know how many beautiful butt cheeks are out there? He has Taylor Shiff.
Starting point is 00:34:05 He doesn't need butt cheeks. He does. He does. Travis Kelsey already talking about how the field stinks, the travel, everything. So he's already aggravated. You saw it on his podcast. He's aggravated. He aggravated.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Oh, poor Travis. has to go to Brazil. It's the humidity. Come on. Brush up on your Portuguese and have a great time. Kavina, it's not the heat. It's the humidity that gets you. Oh, get out of here. Dude, I've been dying my whole life to get to Brazil. This guy gets to go and be a rock star and he's complaining about it. But apparently the field
Starting point is 00:34:32 stinks, everything about it. So I... Oh, he's an international star. I feel so bad. Hopefully stinks. And I'm not even hating on Kelsey. I love him. I think he's great. But come on, dude. You're living the life. This might be your last year or two. But he apparently does not want to go. Which, which
Starting point is 00:34:48 confirms they're saying the chiefs are likely to open the season in Brazil. But the game I wanted to mention and throw out there, I said before the break, I think we're going to see an NFL record broken outside of a Super Bowl. I'm saying even outside of a, I think including playoff football. This Thanksgiving, one of the leaks. I have something that's going to put it over the top to confirm your theory here. One of the leaks, call the plumber. One of the leaks is that.
Starting point is 00:35:18 on Thanksgiving Day, which already has humongous numbers. It already has the biggest ratings of the year, other than likely the playoffs and, of course, the Super Bowl. Thanksgiving Day, Dallas Cowboys, is already a ratings getter. But it's the late afternoon game, and it's Cowboys and the Chiefs. So if you get Mahomes and Kelsey, you know, the dynasty of the last decade, going into Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, I wouldn't be shocked at all
Starting point is 00:35:52 if that had 80 to 100 million people watching. And it will. Can I add to it? Taylor Swift, that angle or not even? Nah, they got to bring back the greatest halftime show that it was in Texas. Creed at halftime. They did it in 2001. With all homes wide home.
Starting point is 00:36:09 They did it, 2001. With our receivers wide open. They did it. Thanksgiving, 2001. I thought you were going to say Beyonce. No, bro. Can you take me higher? And they're going to have people flying around like they did in 2001. Bro, that was one of the greatest halftime shows that ever was.
Starting point is 00:36:26 You're serious or now? You just don't remember it. Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. We're also in Texas. He's the most famous non-super Bowl halftime. It's really majestic. You have to watch it back. I love Creed, but no, it's majestic.
Starting point is 00:36:41 You're not talking Taylor or Beyonce. You're not even talking about it. Dolly Parton last year? The Olly part was big. How do you beat that? A man floated in. Yeah, they were doing, what do you call that? When people are floating in and on those things?
Starting point is 00:36:54 I don't know. It remind me that scene from old school where they're doing like the ribbon dancing. Yeah, it was like people doing like the. It was so majestic, bro. It was so cheesy and awesome. So if you really want to get those numbers, you better get Scott Stap on the phone. Stap. Stap.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Stap. That's right. Get Scott Stap. But yeah, I agree. It's going to be one of those big ones. but you are going to get some sort of sweet halftime performance, too. I'm just throwing my nomination in there. Are we, uh, and I'm facetious, like, I'm joking, but I'm not.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I get what you're saying, because there is a layer where it's funny, but I agree. I would like Creed. It's funny, but also like, yeah, I would like that. You didn't finish your thought, Rich, most pressure today. No, the social media teams. That's it. Just, I thought you were comparing. Because it's the battle of who's the most creative.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Because it's whoever, whoever comes up with that video that gets 50 to 100 million views is going to be pat on the back. The organizations be like, you know, Jessica, we were good to go with you. You're the best. I know. I thought of it. It's going to be a battle of the social media teams.
Starting point is 00:37:55 And there's going to be a team who stinks. Like, it's like, that's it. And their social media director is going to get kicked in the ass. Like, you need it worth us. Today, the battle of the social media. And tonight we're going to get to see all the schedules, start planning your bros weekends. And Thanksgiving Day, Cowboys, Chiefs lock it in,
Starting point is 00:38:12 probably the highest rated NFL game in regular season history, and even more so if Creed's part of it. That's right, because they actually sing their songs. We won't get some lip-sinked doo-doo. But with homes water upon. Dookie. Let's get some good ones. Now, we're live from Fox Sports Radio Studio.
Starting point is 00:38:31 For over 40 years, Tyrax has been helping customers find the right tires for how, what, and where they drive. Ship fast and free, back by free road, hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Tirerack.com. the tire buying should be. We're Covino and Rich. What do you think about the schedule?
Starting point is 00:38:46 Are you pumped about tomorrow? Think about it. Hit us up at 87799 on Fox and let's get an update in the meantime. In between time from Lowencrime. What's up, Isaac? Guys, Baltimore Ravens running back. Derek Henry's agreed to a two-year $30 million extension, $25 million guaranteed. The NBA today fine Golden States, Draymond Green, $50,000 for making an inappropriate comment,
Starting point is 00:39:09 questioning the integrity of game officials during game three of the Western Conference semifinals on Saturday. Common had to do with the point spread of the game, which was at five and a half. Coming up tonight at 9.30 Eastern, it's game five from Minneapolis with the Timberwolves leading the Warriors three games to one. A first is seven Eastern, game five of the East semis from Boston with the Knicks leading the Celtics three games to one. Baseball, the Minnesota Twins won at Baltimore, six to three on the first game of a double header. It was the twins' ninth consecutive victory. in the second game, they trail the Orioles 6-5 in the top half of the seventh inning. Arizona's Cotell Marte has two home runs.
Starting point is 00:39:47 They have an 8-4 lead at San Francisco going to the bottom of the sixth, and the Mariners out to a 2-0 lead over the Yankees right now in the bottom of the fifth in Seattle, guys, back to you. You know, speaking of the Yankees, really pumped about the Yankees' Mets this weekend. And it's not just because I'm a Yankees guy and Rich as a Mets guy. I just think there's so much drama from the social. Soto trade there. Judge and Soto. There's just interest for anyone, I think.
Starting point is 00:40:14 And you're looking at a Juan Soto that over the last week or so has started to heat up. Yeah, it's going to be really cool. But not get there quite yet. So here's an interesting stat. Not that it matters because I guess, you know, actually you answer the question. Do you think it matters how hard you hit the ball? Yes. Exit velocity matters.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Well, because guess who number one in Major League Baseball is? Based on this, Juan Soto. Oh, Aaron Judge. Oh, okay. Number two is Juan Soto. So while Juan Soto has, quote, quote, struggled a bit so far, he's hitting the ball hard just at people. Because the obvious answer was Aaron Judge. No, but I'm saying like.
Starting point is 00:40:50 But the way you set it up is like, I guess the Soto. No, but, you know, people, based on the way Soto's been playing, what, batting 250, only a few home runs, you would assume like he's struggling. But he's hitting the ball. He's hitting rockets at people, which, as you know, over 600 at bats, those balls eventually fall. So we'll see what happens. But let me ask you one more quick thing. That Thanksgiving game that we're talking about will have the highest ratings ever. That's week 13.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Now, the Chiefs are... Hello, my friend, we'll meet again. I'm sorry. The Chiefs are predicted in Vegas to have 11 and a half wins. They're over-underers 11 and a half. So they should be a winning team. Hopes are not as high. Danny, I thought they would maybe have Dallas at like 9 and 8, 8 and 9.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Dallas is like seven or seven and a half. So people think Dallas will still struggle. So do you think if Dallas is, you know, playing terrible football, that affects? Or do you think it's still Dallas Thanksgiving? Yeah, it's still Dallas Thanksgiving. Yeah, but it would make it even bigger if Dallas shocked people and went into that game. What if after 12 games they went in, I don't know, like eight and four? Like imagine that.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Like that would be pretty sweet for Dallas. So we'll see what happens. I'm getting pumped about it. Well, hey, listen, we got more Kavino and Rich next right here on Fox Sports Radio. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news? Huge news.
Starting point is 00:42:15 We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special.

And we were thinking I'm originally calling it. one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down?

Millions, record-breaking, millions of people watching to see this majestic performance. Men
Starting point is 00:46:12 flying on ribbons. Fireworks and pyro and Scott Stapp's hair and his shirt white open. Oh, it's been way too long since we've seen that again. It's been 24 years. It was in 01. So, wait,
Starting point is 00:46:28 would this be the 25th anniversary coming up? If it was at Super Bowl, then yes. No, it was Thanksgiving. It looked like a Super Bowl performance. We often talk about the greatest Super Bowl performances. We often forget about the greatest Thanksgiving performances and Creed has
Starting point is 00:46:44 one of them. I could see it now. The one. Mahomes is all excited. He's like, yeah, me and Trave are going to be in the stands to watch Creed. They're not going to want to miss that. That's my dream anyway. We don't know who's playing halftime, but we know. We know the
Starting point is 00:47:00 Chiefs are playing. You're allowed to have dreams. Yeah, I'm allowed to have dreams. That's my fantasy. All right, well, it's time now for the Tyrek. Play of the day, the Pacers. Miles Turner picked great night to hit the biggest shot of the season. Halliburton against Mitchell. Hunter shows a trap. Halliburton gets rid of it.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Far corner, Turner, Dagger. A three out of the corner and all of the sudden it's so a switch has been thrown. This place is like a library. Boom. Pacers eliminate the number one seed calves four games to one and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. That's courtesy of the Pacers Radio Network. And that's our Tyraq play.

Ship fast and free, back by free road hazard protection. Convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Tirec.com, the way tire buying
Starting point is 00:47:56 should be. So, remember, stick around for a midweek major next hour. Plus, we'll talk Bill Belichick if we have time. Whatever we don't have time for is on our bonus podcast, overpromised. Search for that on Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page with a bunch of new videos.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Overpomised, episode 91, a brand new one tomorrow. And another quick reminder, on Friday, you can wake up with us because we're filling in for the DP show. Don't steal the covers. Covino and Rich in for Dan Patrick this Friday morning. So join us, will you? Thanks. It'll be the greatest wake-up show since Wake-up San Francisco.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Yeah. Well, I've always said that. Now, got to talk. You're talking football, Rich. Can we talk Jaden Daniels for a little bit? At least set this up for now, get people thinking. Yeah. Can I give you a draft Kings?
Starting point is 00:48:45 I'm not going to give the code, Dan. So don't tell me yes if you don't. Yes, but I have a bet I want to make tonight, and I love this. Oh, boy. No, I do. I'm a lot to tell you a great bet when there's one, right? That's cool. Can you pick two players?
Starting point is 00:48:57 I'm going to pick three. Want to hear this? Oh, nice. Pete Crow Armstrong, PCA on the Cubbies, home run, scubble, over six and a half strike. breakouts and Lindor over 1.5 bases. So two singles or a double, you know, he needs
Starting point is 00:49:14 two bases. Ten bucks wins 240. Wow. I just like it for some reason. I feel like singing to you. Scoop Bowl, PCA, and Francisco Lindor. So I'm just locking in. Oh, I like it. Letting you know. I've been
Starting point is 00:49:30 loving the pick six, Danny. I've been loving the Draft King's pick six for real. Like, we were doing the commercials for so long and I started playing myself and now every day, it's like a fun little five to $10 way to stay interested. It's nice when the sponsors are involved in our own lives. When the sponsor is like, oh, I actually use this? We love it.
Starting point is 00:49:47 We actually wear the gear from Travis Matthew. Pick you. Pick six. I'm wearing Travis Matthew while I'm using draft. Kings. All right. So please, tell me, my friend, about Jaden Daniel's mom. Well, it's his momager.
Starting point is 00:50:00 It's his mom manager. And her name is Regina Jackson. And I want you to take a listen to what she says before we, before we even discuss it. So take a listen to Jaden Daniel's mother. He's a kid. And I don't know why we stopped parenting kids at a certain age, but that's for a later show.
Starting point is 00:50:18 The thing is, is he doesn't know what he doesn't know, and he knows football because that's what he's been doing. And he does it very well. And he's been, you know, very acclimated in sports since he was young, but he doesn't know the business world. He doesn't know the predators or the vultures that could be out there. And so he feels very comfortable at knowing that not only am I educated and qualified to do.
Starting point is 00:50:38 do it. I'm also his mom. To me, it makes sense. And it really poses a bigger question. He may be a guy that knows more about football than any of us, a student of the game, a star student, you know, a guy that took the league by storm.
