Watching games taking notes. I still cannot believe that the Green Bay Packers are getting nine and a half points against the Niners. The equivalent of what odds makers thought the third string quarterback for the Steelers should get to beat

Josh Allen at home, Buffalo. A red-hot team. Well, the Niners are the second highest power-rated team in the league. It's Ravens Niners, right? Or maybe some people still think Niners are won. I can't imagine that after they got their butt-skinned. we do know, and maybe just an aberration, this is an offensive league, and it also is teams are different at different times.

Green Bay right now is one of the livelier dogs in a long time. I wouldn't want to face them. It just felt like Dallas fell apart. I mean, we both had the Packers getting the points, but Dallas no-showed on both sides of the football. The Niners aren't doing that. And there are a match-it. Remember when Washington faced Texas, I had said on the air,

oh, I take Washington Money Line, great matchup. and then Washington faced Michigan, and I said, no, no, no, no, bad matchup. So matchups matter. There's an argument that Green Bay facing Dallas was a great matchup for them. Green Bay facing off that emotional win. San Francisco is a bad man. The odds makers clearly feel it's a bad matchup for Green Bay. So they're usually right, and I'm not going to beat them.

Shanahan's offense probably coast to 35 points in this one, like easily. All right. Easily. Okay. 35, 30. here we go Herd Hierarchy our final one for a while

They've won 6 of 7 But you know Let's be honest They were 2 and 5 against Playoff teams And they faced a team last night That had quit the last month

Todd Bulls a good defensive coach They only allowed 9 points over the last two games again, I think that was a good matchup for him last night. Didn't think that going into the game. I thought it very quickly. Baker is 2-1-1 in his career in the playoffs. Let's give him credit for that with a 102.7 passer rating, Tampa at 8.

Number 7. But I like Houston. They've won four of their last five. They do not turn the ball over. 14 giveaways all year. And C.J. Stroud, here's one of the amazing things is, I don't know if I've ever seen a rookie quarterback to throw the deep. beat ball as well.

On throws 15 plus yards down the field. It's a passer rating of 124. In the AFC. So, again, live dog, Houston 7. Number six. Green Bay. No sacks or turnovers against the Cowboys. It was clean living. Youngest team to win a playoff game since the 1970 merger.

Jordan Love is a completely different player from week seven or eight. They're the only team without a first quarter giveaway in the NFL this year. And we said that was a big deal against Dallas because we felt they had a chance to take a lead at Dallas. So this is a team that's a very, very good first quarter team. Big, big, big deal when you're young and going on the road in playoff games. You don't want to get buried early. The other thing is Aaron Jones, since he came back, week 15, four straight games over 100. So they can run the football too, not just the Niners.

Green Bay at 6. Number 5. Detroit. Three touchdown drives of 75 plus yards. Sealed that win. It really did. The Rams were going uphill after that. Ben Johnson, Goff, one of the best offensive lines.

Number two ranked offensive lines. I think they physically match out with the Niners. And Jared Goff, who just gets crushed by everybody, his last five games, 4-1, 71% completion percentage. I think their coach can be reckless. but man, I like that O line. I like those running backs. They are young and twitchy and strong

and have a point of view. I like them. Number four. Kansas City. I didn't think Miami was kind of a perfect matchup, warm weather in Miami minus 27 degrees. But here's the key. They've held opponents to 20 points or fewer in six straight games. Defense a little healthier,

and they're 9 and 0 when they score at least 21. Will they on the road against Buffalo? Hey, this is their first true road playoff game in the Mahomes era. So I don't know what it's going to look like, but that's a tough one. Buffalo's a tough one, Kansas City at four. Number three. I think Buffalo's a totally different team. Seven and one since firing Ken Dorsey, six and one against playoff teams.

They often play their best against best teams. And Josh Allen doesn't take a backseat to anybody. Other than Mahomes, he has the most total yards per game in NFL history. He'll give you 336 yards a game. And in five playoff games, his last five, 17 total TDs, three picks. So Kansas City Buffalo is going to be one for the ages. Number two. San Francisco, top three in scoring and scoring defense.

I still think I want to see Brock Purdy trailing or Brock Purdy in a shootout or in Brock Purdy everything doesn't go perfectly. What if Green Bay jumps to a 10-0 lead? What if Green Bay, a great first quarter team, takes the lead. A little fumble? He plays from behind, a little pressure. Jordan loves clearly more athletic, better arm. Keep your eye on Brock Purdy this weekend.

Number one. Well, Baltimore crushed him when they've played. And I do think Baltimore is the best team in the league and has been. We've been on Baltimore for a long time. We moved him out of the one spot. But this team had a look in week 6, 7, 8, 9, like the best team in the league. and they've beaten good teams. Dolphins, Niners, Rams.

Lamar's going to win the MVP and should win the MVP. So there's our power rankings, our herd hierarchy. I really do think Baltimore is at a different level than everybody else. Even San Francisco. I don't know what Brock Purdy is in a 27-27 game. Pressure on him at home against Green Bay. I don't know what he is. I know what Lamar is.

I know what Mahomes is. I know what Alan is. I even know what golf is as long as the conditions are pretty good. Purdy did play and have two successful playoff games last year before the injury against the Eagles. So you kind of know. Did you see the Texans are taking money right now? People are betting the Houston Texans against your number one team in Ravens. Lines down to nine.

I don't know the historic numbers. The buy in football can be a little overrated. Remember when Tennessee lost to Cincinnati? You're just firing takes today. The buy is overrated. Okay. All right. No, I think there are certain teams that could use it.

But a lot of coaches just Belichick played as dudes. Brady is like, I want to play. Nick Wright. First things first joins us. All right. Heard hierarchy. I have Buffalo K.C. I think it's the same thing.

I do think the new, the Ken Dorsey firing, they do feel like a little bit more, their offense has a little more dexterity to it. they're not as Josh Allen save us. I think Buffalo's offense looks like, like there's more to it. It's more layered. Anything bother you here? No, nothing really bothers me.

A couple observations. One is, I agree with you. I was very impressed by Buffalo last yesterday afternoon. Thought that was an excellent win. Now, I'm sure none of my colleagues will be impressed by Buffalo because nobody was impressed by the chiefs beating the sixth seed by 19 points. So I can't imagine anyone is impressed with Buffalo beating the seven seed by 14 points. But I was impressed by both games.

But here's my other takeaway. You remember last week, Colin, how when on here you had the Lions ahead of the Rams, and I just came on and I told your audience, have them wherever you want. I guarantee during the Blazing Five, you're going to take the Rams and the points. I did. And you tried to push back and then eventually you did it. Yeah. You have these rankings however you want.

I guarantee come Friday, you are taking Kansas City plus three. I'm not saying you're even going to pick them to win, but I want to bet on your bet because you are absolutely

going to, you're going to look at me like Patrick Mahomes in his career as an underdog, eight one and one against the spread and seven and three outright. Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and grab the points. And so that that's what I project

is going to happen here. Yeah. I'm not pushing back. on that now that you put me in a corner. Yeah. Yeah, exactly right. It's hard to bet. It's hard to give Andy Reed and my home points. Listen, I think there

are times, I said I can defend every losing coach in the playoffs. Even, even Mike McCarthy, I can say, well, that was the best DAC I've ever seen, and they won 12 games. What I saw last night was Brandon Staley with the Chargers.

Like a team that went from losing close to losing by a touchdown to literally the playoff. are quitting. Like I, you can't bring that back in Philadelphia. That, that's a grown-up job, and at times you had mentioned this, sidelines, tunnel, theatrics. It was like a kid that got a grown-up job and eventually was exposed. I think you have to move often, don't you? 100%. And there's a lot of reasons. Some you mentioned, some you didn't. First of all, Colin, before I get my full answer, tell me if you agree with me here. I've never seen, in my life

watching football, I've never seen a team. in the playoffs in the first quarter look as apathetic as Philadelphia. I agree. On both sides of the ball, in my opinion, Colin, in the first quarter of that game, they looked like a team that was a four-win team playing their final game of the year. That, to me, is a stinging indictment of the coach. So that's first of all. Second of all, here's the other problem for Nick Siriani.

Who is available? And so, you know, I use you in a lot of the analogies, when I'm talking to you, so I'll do it again. If there were a talk show host in Philadelphia that last year had done great, and this year was mediocre, a little disappointing, but last year was really excellent. And then all of a sudden, you quit Fox

and you let everyone know, man, I'd sure like to work for WIP. That guy would lose his job, even if he didn't deserve to. If Bill Belichick wants the Eagles job, even if the team didn't, quit on Siriani. You fire Siriani to give Belichick that job. I also don't know what he

does. He doesn't call plays. He can't figure out his defensive coaching staff. His quarterback massively regressed this year, and that's the bigger issue for Philadelphia, that how good is Jalen Hurts really questioned? So, yeah, I think Nick Siriani, I think Mike McCarthy and Nick

Siriani are both going to be looking for work this coming off season. And I don't think either one of them are going to get head coach coaching jobs this coming this offseason so I said about Baker Mayfield you know you got kids I got kids fit an environment for young people's important and in Cleveland a lot of pressure savior but in Tampa Baker Mayfield is viewed as well Tom got us a trophy let's see what Baker can do it's like less pressure than Gino Smith in Seattle it's like we just got a trophy let's try it out

and I'm like, this baker, humbled Baker low expectations, I would re-sign him. I would have no problem with three. You got to re-sign him. That's what I think, right? You have to re-sign him. Well, so listen, I mean, that's a very nice way, you know, you're on your Baker-Mayfield Apology tour. I saw the videos.

I've seen the tweets. This is a nice soft launch to it. And I hope that part of resigning, he comes and we can go full circle. He can sit right on that couch like he does. did five years ago and you and him can have a nice moment because you have, to your credit this year, been rooting for Baker. Now, where I will say I disagree on the pressure is this point. He had massive pressure in this regard. He was playing for his career. If it didn't go well, Colin, in Tampa, he's a career backup. An undersized, somewhat polarizing career backup. And there's

not a lot of backup quarterbacks like that. So he had massive, internal pressure, even if there wasn't a ton of external expectations. But when you look at what he did yesterday and what he's done over the course of the season for a team that has more dead cap money than any team in NFL history, $220 million cap, that's what everyone else is working with, Tampa working with $140 because of $80 million in dead cap, and Baker has them a game away from the NFC championship, and I think they are a live dog in that game, I think you look at at a minimum that contract Gino Smith got and say, yeah, that plus 30%. Gino got three for 75. I think Baker's, the negotiation starts at three for 100,

which sounds crazy, but that's $35 million a year, which is the going rate for a good. good, not great starting quarterback, and that's what Baker Mayfield is. And listen, as a lifelong Baker Mayfield supporter and believer, man, I couldn't be happier for him. And I can't imagine how miserable would be rooting against that guy. So full of moxie, his teammates love him. He never quits on a play, just the best. Okay, so I want to know, I know you're going to like the Chiefs. What is the Chief's bills?

You don't know that. I'm going to do an alice straight down the barrel analysis. Everyone's like Nick. You always pick the Chiefs. The real answer is Nick, you always pick the correct Super Bowl winner, and that's more often than not the Chiefs. So it seems like I'm always picking my hometown team. I'm just picking the best team. But go ahead.

Let me hear it. Sorry, I interrupted. So what is the game going to look like? Because you know they don't really have a number two receiver. They have an old tight end. He doesn't trust his tackles. Rishi Rice is a one. Not a great one, but he's a one.

They don't really have a number two. This offense isn't the same. They can't fall behind 21-0. It's a different variety of it. What does the game look like against Buffalo? It's low-scoring and the Chiefs win and Josh makes a mistake and Patrick doesn't. So like here's the deal. Everyone would have been over the moon had the Chiefs beaten Miami 35-24.

Oh my goodness gracious, look at that offense. Instead, they win by 19 control every second of the game. Miami has one impactful offensive play. because of a ball was underthrown and people are like, oh, what's on after this game? Here's the deal. Kansas City has accepted who they are the last few weeks the starters have played. A team that has a not good, a great defense. Now that Cleveland is gone, the Chiefs have either the best or the second best defense in the playoffs. It's them in Baltimore and then everybody else. And that was the case along with Cleveland all year. This Chief's team has allowed 30 points once in the last two years, and it was in the Super Bowl, and they won.

And so people are wondering why they're struggling in the red zone. I look at it a little bit differently. I think Patrick is refusing to take any chances in the red zone because he knows with the defense playing the way it is, that field goals will be enough. Take the touchdowns when you can. Don't put the ball at risk. Now, against Buffalo, you might actually have to go score touchdowns. But the last two games that starters have played, they've scored points on 13 of 17 drives, had three punts, and one turnover.

So they're moving the ball. Rishi Rice has emerged. The defense has been great. The week off really helped Kelsey. And then you have Patrick Mahomes, who has never lost in the wildcard or divisional round, who has never lost an AFC playoff game in regulation. and Patrick Mahomes, who's, yes, he's on the road for the first time, but if you look at his numbers historically in the regular season,

he's a better road quarterback than home quarterback, and I'm going to add this part to it. When the Chiefs played the Bills the first time, the Bills were coming off a by, so they had a one-week rest edge, and the Chiefs were without their two starting linebackers. This week, the Chiefs have a two-day, the Chiefs of the team with the rest edge,

because they played Saturday, the bills played Monday, and the bills are the team dealing with defensive injuries. For all those reasons, listen, I studied the All-22. I've done the analysis. I like the Chiefs a lot. I think they're in a really good spot. And if you're Buffalo, Colin, if you don't beat Kansas City this year, when are you beating them?

You have them at home, a wounded Chiefs team, a vulnerable Chiefs team that nobody believes in but this dope from Kansas City, Nick Wright. If you don't beat them right now, when do you beat them? And the answer is maybe never. So I like the Chiefs in this spot quite a bit. All right. Minute left. You and I have always said, I've always said,

DAC is Kirk Cousins with the Jordan brand. Kirk is more accurate. Dak's a better athlete, but I don't trust him in the playoffs. Next year he's a $50-something million-dollar cap hit. where are you on DAC today? Because you have been, from day one, you have been, it's not elite. So, or do you feel validated by what you watched? Well, maybe if I hadn't picked him to go to the Super Bowl this year

and argued that here he might be league MVP. Yeah, so here's the problem for DAC. This is where sports can be a little unfair. Dak being as great as he was in the regular season actually makes what happened on Sunday, more of an indictment. Because Colin, he looked frightened. Like the look on his face, how big his eyes were,

the moment Green Bay went up 7-0, it looked like he got tight. And there were, in that first half, down 7-0, he throws the pick. Down 14-0-0. He takes the brutal sack on 3rd and 5 that takes him out of field-goal range. Down 20-to-0 with a chance to be back in it. Your past midfield, it's two minutes left.

Down 20-0-0. Go score there. ball at halftime could be 2014 next line Green Bay touches the ball throws a pick six down 27 nothing something nobody seems to care about but me at the end of the first half through short of the end zone the clock was gonna run out they get bailed out by a penalty flag so I felt like every moment Dak had in that game when the game was in the balance he didn't come through and so here's where the cowboys are in a rough spot we have seen bad mediocre average a

Above average, great. We've seen every young, old, every type of quarterback win a Super Bowl, except for one type. The decent quarterback who is paid like a Super Bowl. Yep, that's it. That team has never won a Super Bowl. That's right. And DAC is about to, I don't think people understand the leverage DAC has. He has a no trade.

He has a no tag. His cap hits going to be $60 million for next season and then he can go wherever he wants. It's going to take, I'm not exaggerating. trading, five years, $300 million with $180 some million guaranteed to sign him. Do you want to sign up for that? I don't know. Can I throw one fake trade at you and tell me who says no? Sure.

Let's just say Belichick doesn't go to Dallas, okay? So whomever the coaches. If Dallas calls New England and DAC obviously has to be okay with it, we'll trade you DAC for the number three pick. that Cowboys want to take the San Francisco model of reset the quarterback pay structure, rookie quarterback clock, and keep all that elite talent. And the Patriots say we can afford to pay the quarterback because we don't have any good players so nobody on our team makes money.

Dak for the number three pick, is there any interest from either side? Where do you land on that? Oh, if I'm Dallas, I'm absolutely interested. If I'm in New England, I'm not interested much. Yeah, I think if I was Dallas in this quarterback, class and I have the number three pick. Yeah. Jaden Daniels. Don't have to pay him for four years. Jay and Daniels, re-sign Micah, re-sign CD, keep all your talent. If you're Dallas, that's super attractive. Yes. Hire Mike Rable or Jim Harbaugh. Do that. Get it going. Something.

All right. Hey, I'm all for fake trades. For sports radio. I love fake trades. Now, Dak has no trade clause. So this is a fake trade that involves a fake negotiation where he waves his very real, no trade clause. So I understand there's a lot of moving parts in this fake trade, but it's worth thinking about. Thanks, Colin. I played the game. Nick Wright, first things first, great seeing you. You know, it's interesting. I'm going to, I'm going to ask you to have the numbers on these games. I think I like three of the four underdogs to absolutely cover. Be careful. What's Detroit, Tampa? Six. I think I like Detroit. Although it's hard. to run on Tampa.

I just... I don't know what to make a Tampa. I don't either. They seem to be getting healthier defensively. Were they great defensively last night, or was Philly just an abomination? Oh, Philly's a mess. Right. Philly was a...

I mean, Tampa kept... Tampa wasn't great offensively. They couldn't catch in the first half. Well, it's not like Detroit. They couldn't slow down the Rams. They got 400 yards, seven yards of play. Like... Well, that's Stafford.

I mean, come on. Listen, man, Baker's got some weapons. Stafford and McVeigh, Todd Bulls Baker. That's a whole day. Well, it's Canales is calling the plays. And listen, man, that guys, the guys were wide open all night. That's the big sign to me.

Are dudes wide open? And Philadelphia, like, I will say, that was bad. Green Bay getting nine and a half is disrespectful. Okay. Nine and a half is what you, I mean, the Houston Texans have a rookie quarterback. How many are they getting in Baltimore?

Let's go back to Josh Allen, who was the hero mostly yesterday. The offense looked pretty crisp at times, and he, of course, had that huge 52-yard touchdown run. Tight-end Dawson Knox was in awe and had this to say about Josh Allen. It's almost normal now. him making a crazy play like that almost every single game sometimes you just you can't help it just to sit back and be a fan

it's like in your head you're screaming slide but then he's just weaving in and out of defenders running guys over it's hard to tell a guy to slide when he's doing stuff like that I mean he does look like a small high school team and there's one division one player on the field and it's the quarterback and he's bobbing and weaving his way Like, he looks so much better than other pro athletes.

He's just, like, he and Lamar Jackson and Mahomes, but Lamar especially, Lamar and Josh Allen. And Mahom is maybe the better quarterback, whatever. But Lamar and Josh Allen make, they humiliate other pro athletes. These are the world's best athletes. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are running around, and Pro Bowl linebackers in space. Just run over, zip past. It's amazing.

You got to spy him, right? the Kansas. Good luck. Do you do a safety or a linebacker? A safety's too small. I don't know. I mean, listen, there is no way to defend in this prime Michael Jordan. There is no way to defend Lamar Jacksoner, Josh.

What you try to do is limit the number of great plays, but this idea that there never was a Kobe stopper or an MJ stopper. You just try to make, like I always thought the Utah Jazz with Michael made him a little less effective. You know, they made him really grind for his points. Michael still beat him and, you know He's going to get his. He's going to get his. Also, Alan's going to turn it over, 18

interceptions this year. Yeah, I mean, you just try to, what you try to do is force him into some mistakes. He wouldn't, you know, I mean, Miami can't stop Josh Allen. Like, there's certain franchises, they don't have the personnel. You know, I think that

You keep bringing it up like it's got a chance to happen. Okay, let's move on to the next story. Seattle Seahawks, this is interesting. So Pete Carroll was kind of ousted last week in Seattle, and now he's going to be a, quote, team advisor. So Carol spoke to the events leading to his removal, saying he had a plan to fix things, but ownership didn't see eye to eye with him.

I see it one way, and I think I got a way. to fix it and I'm not going to kind of halfway fix it. I'm trying to fix it so it's perfect. So I've got real precise and specific thoughts and they may not see it that way. They may not agree with it. They may not see that that's the right answer or that's not the answer that makes them feel good. And the difficult part, if you guys could know it, it's really hard because they're not football people. You know, they're not coaches. And so to get to the real details of it, it's really difficult. Well, I mean, Pete's defense for the last five years was bad.

So his side of the ball, despite some really nice young talent, did not get better. I mean, the total defense last two years, I think is last in the league. So the bigger problem is if Pete's defense, like Mike Tomlin gets criticism, but the defense is usually good, right? Like his side of the ball, that's the issue. McDermott's defense is usually good. How's he going to be a team advisor when he's basically saying, yeah, these non-football people shove me out? Like, that's not a good look. I don't like what I'm hearing about Seattle and Dan Quinn up for the job.

That's, it's just more of the same. Well, it's, listen, see, you like Seattle and the roster and everything. I don't think, they're not getting Ben Johnson. Harbaugh's not going there. I don't see Rabel is a landing spot there for there. Like, Seattle all of a sudden, if Dallas and Philly open up, Seattle's like the fifth or six best job on the market, no? I think it's a great job. They don't have Justin Hurdle.

Herbert, but to me, I don't know, I would be, I think you have to take big swings if you're Seattle. You didn't make the playoffs. Sell one of your wide receiver. Give me a short list. No, I mean, I would go out and I would say we got three receivers. Do you want one of them? We've got two tight ends, Fant, Will Disley. Oh, I meant the tackles.

What coach are you luring in? Well, I think Ben Johnson. Oh, come on. Seattle's got a lot of money. I would spend a lot of money. Ben Johnson is going to go from Jared Goff and a potential NFC championship caliber team to Seattle and Gino Smith? There's no way he's doing that. No shot.

The money speaks. And you want to go to division with McVeigh and Shanahan? No way. You've got a better chance to stay in Detroit being the O.C. He's not going to see it. I don't think they're getting anybody. Well, I think the best jobs are going to the biggest names. So if you're saying Seattle's the fourth or fifth best job, then Ben Johnson's the fourth or fifth best candidate, and that's where he goes.

I don't know. What's better, Washington or Seattle? What's better? I think Seattle is a better run operation with a better roster. Atlanta or Seattle? Seattle's a better operation. Boy, you are caping up for the northwest, huh? No, I think Seattle's the best opening, if not for Justin Herbert.

That makes the Chargers the best. I get a star quarterback and a star left tackle. Dallas job or Seattle? Seattle. Philly job or Seattle? And then it's close. Probably Philly. Oh my gosh.

Okay. All right. Let's move on to college football. This one's wild. Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. We don't know if he's going to leave. He interviewed with the Chargers. More interviews to come.

However, according to friend of the show, Bruce Feldman here at Fox Sports, LSU's Brian Kelly would be interested in the Michigan job if Harbaugh leaves for the NFL. Well, he's a Midwestern guy. What? He's a Midwestern guy. Bro, he's been at LSU for five minutes. Well, the South can worry out down there, that college football intensity. Holy cow.

I think... If you're LSU and you hear this, how ticked off are you? Oh, my gosh. Well, maybe his contracts up, or there's a bonus. He's just looking for a raise, and he knows with Jane and Daniels gone, they're probably not going to be as formidable as they were. Dude, they got 20 NFL guys on that roster. That is...

Now... I think he'd be a... First of all, I think he'd be a great hire. To go from Harbaugh to Brian Kelly, he's done the northern academic-leaning school thing and was very successful. So let's just recap. Nick Saban leaves the SEC.

And now, Brian Kelly wants to get out of the SEC? What's going on? He's a Midwest guy. Maybe he went down to Baton Rouge for a couple years and his family's like, Dad, this isn't us? Maybe. Is he still doing that accent?

Remember the fake accent that he did? Well, if our show was in New Orleans after a couple weeks, we'd be talking a lot. Oh, no, we would not. We would absolutely not. But do that again. I think the audience probably love it. No, I think maybe, maybe I don't know what the answer is.

saying Michigan's a great job. It's a wonderful place. It's very possible. He moved down there and he's had his fill of it. It's a very intense down in the south. It's not for every... I had a college friend Jim McElwain took a job at Florida. It's exhausting down there. It's crazy. If you lose two games in a row, you can be in year one. They want you out. And that's why I love the SEC. But it's not for everybody. It's not. LSU, man. They go through coaching. Les Miles won 11 games a year. Get him out of town.

Now, we've later found out there were issues, but, you know, it's not for everybody. Yeah. Have you done Bourbon Street and all that stuff down there? I've never been. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I've heard good things. Oh, no, no, no. It's, it is, let me tell you something.

Some of the best food and without question, the best culinary workers in America. In L.A., they're just trying to get another table in and make a tip. Everybody's an actor. In New York, it's expensive. They want to change the table, right? In New Orleans, you go to dinner. you sit down and they treat you like family and you're the only table of the night that matters. The best waiter, weight, cook, culinary staffs in America are in New Orleans.

You sit down at a table. They won't let you leave. They'll sit down and share stories. You know, L.A., New York, they're trying to, they want to turn the table. Don't talk to me. I just want to eat here. No, it's best oysters I've ever had in my life. I love oysters.

Oh, hello, yeah. New Orleans, shrimp. I like shrimp. I'm not a gumbo guy, are you? Oh, God, yeah. Oh, yeah. I didn't know you were like a foodie, but I'm not a foodie. I just like New Orleans, you make it sound like it.

New Orleans, you don't have to be a foodie. Just go to New Orleans, try the food, it's good. I thought you went there for something else. I went there for games. Oh. No, I'm telling you, that is, there's three or four places in America. You got to go once. You got to go to New Orleans.

I'm not saying you have to live there. Yeah, yeah. And it's not, if you're the coach of LSU, it is. not for everybody. New Orleans or Vegas. Better like weekend hang. Well, I know Vegas, bunch better. That's right. But I would say what feels more unique, New Orleans. Nothing like it in America. The language, the humidity in the summer.

I love humidity. You have to clean the streets every morning. So they do these street sweepers. They have to brush the teeth of the street every morning because people party so hard if you don't, you're stepping in it. No, I mean, it's, it is nobody goes there for a moderate lifestyle. I mean, people go to Vegas for conventions and golf. Go to New Orleans to eat and party. It's fun. J-Mac with the news.

So there's a report from Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, and I had heard this twice during the regular season from a friend of mine, John Middlokoff, who's a former NFL scout, that Brian Daibald was wearing out his staff, like there was a near mutiny.

So Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News said, destructive sideline behavior, major issues. on the staff. And general manager, Joe Shane, began listening to coaches' headsets during the games just to see how bad the communication was. That's something. So Brian Daibol learned under Saban,

Belichick, McDermott, intense guys. So he's intense. And intensity can be warranted. Hopefully it doesn't turn to volume. And I do think when you have Tommy DeVito and Tyrod Taylor, no amount of yelling and intensity is going to make you a playoff team. and I can think two things at once, which is I really like Brian Dayball, and he needs to manage himself better. I tend to be a fan of McVeigh, Shanahan, that tree, Kevin O'Connor, Zach Taylor, Matt LaFleur, not a lot of yellers, very collaborative, treat them like human beings, work in unison.

I like that tree. I'm not a big yeller and screamer. I hated Sabin screaming at people on the sidelines. I thought he looked like unhinged. So Dan Campbell is passionate. He barks mostly at officials. I can handle that. But I think, you know, I do think Daybull sometimes looks like he's old school and out of control and out of touch.

But I had heard this twice during the year from somebody I trust dearly that that staff just, and the problem is coaches talk. Nobody wants to get yelled at. It's hard to build a staff like that. Now, you can build a staff like that in college much easier than a pro staff. So you've got to be careful about that. I think Daible's really good. And I think they'll be more yelling because I think, this offense has huge issues if Daniel Jones is your quarterback and you're paying them

40 plus million a year so we'll keep our eye on that here is the divisional round schedule I think this morning I like every single underdog is a bet so the Texans Ravens J-Mack Texans getting like nine points I would take the Texans crappy weather I think they played earlier this year they did they played in C.J. Stroud I believe his first career NFL game. So I think I would take the Texans to cover probably Ravens to win what say you. Does that feel right? The Ravens aren't losing this game. Next. I would take the Packers disrespectful plus nine and a half. I think the Niners win. I have weird vibes about this.

Yeah, I think what am I, five and three on the college tuition plays this year for my kids? So they are currently still going to college in, you know, a decade. It's all on the Niners here. They will win this handling. Okay. Bucks getting six against the line. I do like the lions. I think the Rams were a really red-hot team, and they drove up and down the field for the first hour and a half. Didn't Baker throw for 300 yards last night or something? He was cooking. I think that game could be close.

I think Lions win, but I don't think this is a blowout or by any stretch. Six. I have, I don't know. Bill's Chiefs, the plus three, because the pressure's on the bills, they're going to be tight, potentially. a tight coach and a tight environment. I'd probably take the points. I don't know the boy I like Buffalo. The first road playoff game, as you said,

for Mahomes in his career. It's all different on the road. Is it? Two extra days? I know that's baked into the line and the injuries to the bills. We've got to see that injury report for Buffalo. I'm telling you, man,

you saw the Pittsburgh Steelers just attack the middle of the field when Buffalo's defensive backs. Mason Rudolph was having success. Okay? Travis Kelsey's going to wake up and stop dropping passes against these backups. I like the chiefs. You're a guy.

That guy had an incredible play last night against Pittsburgh. I don't know. That's a Boise State. How was that even remotely close in the second half? That's the thing about Buffalo, man. They don't have that knockout punch that used to have. Tomlin is an underdog coach. Pittsburgh plays their butt off.

I've seen Tomlin do that a thousand times. Third string quarterback on the road? No, best quarterback they have. I mean, that's the best quarterback. Kenny Pickett could have played. I just want to remind people last year, Buffalo hosting the Bengals, they got their doors blown off, 2710. No, I remember.
