This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, it's Edwin Castro, also known as Castro 1021.
And I'm Kunky, his best friend and business manager.
And we've got a new show called The 1021 Podcast.
I'm taking you behind the scenes on how I became one of Twitch's most popular streamers.
We also love sports.
And with the World Cup right around the corner, we'll be breaking down the biggest
storylines ahead of the big tournament here in the USA.
Listen to the 1021 podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is Saigon, the story of my family and of the country that shaped us.
From IHeart Podcasts, Saigon.
You don't think I'm serious about a free Vietnam?
One city, a divided country, and the war that tore America apart.
This is for Vietnam.
They're pouring patrol all over here.
Freedom for Vietnam!
There's a fire coming to this country and it's going to bring to America.
Learn how it's everything.
Listen to Saigon on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
The story I've told myself can then shape my behavior, and that can lead me to sabotage the possibility of connection.

Just search Covino and Rich wherever you get your pods.
Rated five stars.
And I'll appreciate it.
Can I say this too?
We were in Vegas this past weekend for the Benavitas fight.
And we had a hell of a broadcast live.
Brian Custer stopped by.
Old friend of ours, but tremendous broadcaster.
We talked about his career path and fighting and sports and everything else.
But we also did a bonus show this past weekend, a Saturday broadcast from Vegas with Jim Lampley,
where we also talked about the Super Bowl.
You and I actually fought about it, and we'll talk about that later on.
But be sure to catch it.
Follow rate and review wherever you stream your podcast.
Search Covino and Rich.
So now we get you involved.
Fox Sports Radio Nation live from New Orleans.
Bose on the phone.
He's on standby.
Waiting just to say hi.
87799 on Fox or at Covino and Rich if you want to chime in on social media.
Shout out to Sam on the ones and twos and buyer.
But we do this every Monday.
It's things that make you go, hmm.
And again, it could be football related, Super Bowl related.
It could be anything you did this weekend related.
Or as our intro points out, Kavito and Rich bring up topics.
No one else does because I got something on my mind.
Oh, yeah.
It's here.
Two things.
I thought we all as a societar.
Uh-oh.
I thought as a society, we had had enough.
Not only fighting about politics, that's what you thought I was going to say.
I thought we had enough of O.J. Simpson movies and documentaries and, oh, here's the, you know, David Schwimmer.
Juice, juice, juice, juice.
We thought every documentary and Stone had been unturned, and we lost OJ this past year.
there's a new docu series on Netflix.
I'm actually glad you pointed this out because one would have thought,
yeah, I've seen it already.
Bro, I've seen every one of them.
I thought this.
I patted no mind because I thought it was just like another one I'd seen released on Netflix.
I was doing a little scrambling around before we took our flight from Vegas to New Orleans.
And I said, you know what?
We download a couple things.
I'm like, oh, I can't watch shows that my wife is watching.
So, all right, cancel out Dexter and.
you know, silo and shrinking and all our shows.
What could I download? I'm like, you know, she doesn't.
She won't give a crap about this OJ thing.
OJ Simpson.
Not Jewish.
OJ Simpson, American Manhunt.
By the way, out of context, it sounds odd.
Rich just referenced.
O.J. Simpson.
Not a Jew, but guess who is?
Hall of Famer, Rod Carrew.
From the Hanukkah song, Adam Sandler.
If you don't get that, then you're dumb.
Not everybody does. People just think you have, like,
racist threats or something.
I don't know.
Racist.
O.J. Simpson, he's not Jewish.
American manhunt, OJ.
When I tell you, again, I thought we all had uncovered every little piece of OJ info on all these documentaries.
I'm two episodes in, and I'm learning this stuff I had no clue about.
So it's actually worth the watch.
Sadly, informative to the point where you should probably watch.
I think that made Rich go, hmm, is another documentary.
And the fact that you're still learning things that you never knew about the OJ trial.
You know, they take you through the whole car chase,
and they interview the cops that were on the phone with O.J.
While he had the gun to his head and this audio that I never heard before with AC and all that.
So it's an interesting documentary.
So that made me go home.
All right, this made me go home.
Speaking of foosball, speaking of football,
the big story today is Miles Garrett is requesting a trade away from the Browns.
Now, we're going to dive into that deeper, but it did make me say,
because also over the weekend,
Kevin Durant went public and said,
you know, this whole
AD Luca trade
goes to show you that nobody's safe.
You know, when people criticize players
and the moves that they're making
protecting themselves in their career
and them either holding out like Pete Alonzo
or Jimmy Butler who's saying he doesn't want to play anymore
and this and that.
You know, when people criticize the moves
that players make,
look what the owners are capable of doing to a player's life.
Which is why I always take the side of play.
When people always take the side of ownership,
I'm like, do you mean the billion-dollar owners?
Because it's not only superstars.
I always feel bad for the dudes that are like a second-year lineman who gets cut.
And it's like, that's it?
Right.
But it made me saying, hmm, because in one breath you're like,
damn, man, that's messed up for Adi and Luca.
They didn't even see that coming.
I hope it works to their benefit.
And then on the flip side, you got Miles Garrett taking control of his career, basically saying, yeah, all right, well, I want out now.
And again, we're going to dive in deeper in a few minutes about that.
I got another thing that made me go, hmm.
And not as it, you know, who won the trade, you know, is Luca going to fit in in L.A.?
I feel like so much of that's been discussed.
What made me go, hmm, is when you trace back even the AD trade, this has been a great progression of trade.
this has been a great progression of trades
and I was doing the homework on this myself
and I saw Nick Wright's, I'll give him a little props on FS1
Is that why you brought your trapper keeper?
I was doing my notes.
I was wondering, man.
Nick Wright pointed this out, but I was already on this train track
of a little research.
When you go back to realize what the Lakers
gave up to get AD,
won a championship with AD,
bubble or not, I still give it, you know,
it's still a championship.
I always thought it was a harder victory.
I really always looked at it.
Like, that was under the most difficult of circumstances.
And then you take AD and now you trade him to get Luca.
I feel like when you originally look at what the Lakers gave up to get AD,
you could say that that's the progression of what led them to now.
And it's been some good moves to the Lakers front office.
And I think it makes up for any criticism for drafting Brani because it's a bronze kid.
It's not like there were superstars in this year's draft.
It was fine for me.
No, Palenka did absolutely what he had to do.
in that situation. I don't think there's any debate
whatsoever because the Mavericks approached
them with this offer. And again, you heard
the story as it unfurled. Like,
this started over a cup of coffee.
Like, hey, would you?
Huh, really interesting. A month later,
they were able to work this out.
When someone approaches you
with a generational
superstar like Luca
at the age of 25, the Lakers had
no choice but to make
that move. So, yeah, it makes
you say, hmm, but they did the right thing.
here. Again, your phone calls, your feedback at Covino and Rich
87799 on Fox. Who do we got, Danny G? Let's start with Ryan
in Texas. Y'all, what's up, Brian? Live from Nola, things that made you go
hmm this weekend. What's going on, fellas? I was just
calling with a couple of trades that reminded me of the Luca trade a little bit.
That DeMard de Rose and Kauai Looner trade was
another pretty big one. And then the one that almost happened, the Chris
Paul to the Lakers. Yeah, you know what it is.
I think you write about the DeRosen one because I think in order to call it a big trade,
you need to have two names that are sort of household names.
Because a lot of times it's Superstar for, and it's a ton, like four picks and this and money.
When it's like essentially Superstar for Superstar with a couple add-ins, that's monstrous.
Can I say this too?
And again, we'll take your phone calls at 87799 on Fox.
we have this belief that these athletes are not like real people.
Like they're robot people that we watch playing sports.
And Rich said this in passing and on the air, but briefly,
but it does make me say, hmm, they're real life people.
And of course they're going to be consummate professionals,
and LeBron could ball with just about anybody.
But there is going to be that moment of, well, we got to build this chemistry.
We've got to feel it out and can it work?
You know, Rich said it jokingly,
but it's like they traded rich for Jonas Knox.
So yeah, Jonas is great and all.
But I don't work with him on a daily basis.
Do I like him?
Do I know he's good?
Yeah.
Do I respect him as a broadcaster?
Absolutely.
I love Jonas.
But I never worked with him every day.
We don't need to bring Jonas in all.
But, you know, it's going to take him in it.
I don't know how I feel.
So you have to imagine how the Mavericks feel about AD,
how the Lakers feel about Luca.
Like, yeah, these are all great names and they could do the job.
But will it work in that adjustment period is real?
And that makes me saying,
and there are some people that get over it real quick,
like getting caught off guard.
And then some people that hold a little resentment
and they're all sour.
How do you know?
Like Anthony Davis could have two approaches.
He could go into Dallas,
bro hug Mark Cuban and be like,
I'm really happy to be part of this organization.
Let's go win a title.
Or he could, like, come in with a sour attitude.
Like, why am I Dallas?
Right.
Like, you don't know the attitude.
I don't know, but I think fires are lit.
That's my guess here.
And it's not like he got sent to a horrible team.
He got sent to the second best team in the West right now.
So you're next to Kyrie Irving.
You're not going to be pouting for a long, even if you're feeling a certain way, right?
So when you're Anthony Davis, you have a little bit of a chip on your shoulder because
you're disappointed that the Lakers blindsided you with this.
And you were sort of told, like, let's read between the lines.
Luca could move along to the Lakers now being like,
oh yeah, I'm out of shape and don't play defense.
He can now, like you said, fire lit.
Anthony Davis, oh, you don't think I'm the piece you need to win another?
Okay.
Like, you know, it's sort of an insult to both that you've got to take that,
as you said, that chip on your shoulder to the new team.
I live with that chip on a much lesser level, of course,
but I live with that chip every day.
That's a toad.
It's actually a toad.
But, like, I relate to that.
It's wherever you find motivation.
Now, here's another question that makes me say,
hmm, when you don't win with your franchise and you're a superstar like Luca,
is it considered a failure?
Because he did address the fans, and he was like his dream since he was a teenager,
was to bring a championship to Dallas.
When, on the flip side of things, AD did that with L.A.
So do you look at like Luca failed them in a way or no?
That made me say, hmm.
I mean, he made it to the NBA finals and just didn't have a great series.
A. D. has that on Luca.
He won for his city. Can he win for the new city?
Let me hit you up with one more NBA thing that made me go, hmm.
You see that Yannis commented on this.
Because everyone, by the way.
It's funny you say that.
My last one is what made me say, hmm, is how the stars reacted.
Because I was really intrigued by that.
Patrick Wilhomes being one of the funnier ones because he was like,
I'm sick right now.
He's a big-time Mavericks fan.
And you don't want this dude to feel any.
type of way heading into the Super Bowl. He's like, but I'm sick to my stomach.
And then like a day later, a few hours later, he's like, but Kyrie and A.D.
Kind of sick, though.
But what?
He said like he's kind of feeling that matchup. I forget his exact tweet, but I don't know.
Another thing. I don't know who lost more followers.
Selina Gomez for crying about immigration, you know, she lost like a million followers.
Did you see the Dallas Mavericks lost 700,000 followers after.
trading Luca.
Snoop Dogg lost a lot of followers, too, just throwing that out there.
Yeah, that number's even bigger now.
But I said, Yonnas commented on this.
She said all the stars did.
Stars reacted, man.
Yonis said, I just love it.
I want Luca to the Lakers.
I want Yokch to the Knicks.
I want all the European stars to go to big markets.
That's my dream.
So he's saying, this is great for the NBA.
He's saying, you know, he's in Milwaukee.
Let's be honest.
They want a chip with him.
Milwaukee, the Bucks, small market team, that is a lot of fun.
but he's saying what would be great for the NBA
is if Luca
succeeds in Los Angeles
and what if a guy like Yokic
or someone like that ended up in New York
how great would that be for the NBA?
Big time, big time move for the Lakers.
Again, their future is set up
and real excited to see what other moves they make
and what other moves that happen.
Well, obviously keep you posted here
on Fox Sports Radio.
Now, we mentioned it,
so I want to set this up real quick, right quick.
Miles Garrett requesting out of Cleveland.
Now, I think everyone that lives
that request out of there.
Yeah, well, this is a question.
Kidding Cleveland.
Clearly, you know, he was expecting Watson
to ball out way more than we ever got to see.
He thought he was getting primo Deshawn Watson.
He got Randy Watson.
Yeah.
Randy Watson might have been better.
Yeah.
So it does pose the question of, well, you see,
again, that's the whole, I guess it would have dichotical.
me be the word or I don't know you see what happens to players when they don't know and how owners
just dish them off by the way james see when players take control of their lives and careers and they
request the trade by the way james winson did have a randy watson type vibe in the huddle though
yeah he did yes he did randie watson so and really quick rich apologize to fox sports 1350
the gambler in cleveland hey the gambler i apologize uh i would love to go to cleveland and do a live
remote. Now, do you respect Miles Garrett and his request out of Cleveland because he put his time in,
he gave him everything he had? Is this what you would consider? And this is how we're positioning it
here. A Mike Trout or a Shohei Otani. Do you blame Miles Garrett for him wanting out? I think this is a
great move. And I'll tell you why. There comes a point in every star's career where if you put enough time in,
if you put enough time in where you're like, all right, I've been here five plus years.
I've tried to win in this city.
I've tried to bring a championship here.
It's not working.
It's you.
It's not me.
It's the opposite of it's not you.
It's me.
How about, no, it's not me.
It's you.
And I think for Miles Garrett, you got to ask yourself, do you want to be Shohei Otani or do you want to be Mike Trout?
Shohei Otani, when the time was right, said, listen, thank you, Anaheimani.
Angels of California of Anaheim of California,
whatever they call themselves these days.
The Angels, he exhausted his time there.
And Otani said, it's the time.
I'm going to the Dodgers.
Fans loved it.
Won a World Series.
Biggest star in the world.
50-50 year.
He went from, oh, you mean one of the greatest Japanese players
that plays down in Anaheim to the face of the league?
Mike Trout will forever have the reputation of,
what a great player.
He's like the modern day Mickey Mantle.
But Mickey Mantle has this other thing that he does.
Like a ton of World Series.
If you want to take the Mike Trout route, it's sort of, you know.
Lessens your value.
Yeah.
And your legacy.
You know, again, oh, okay, he's a loyal guy.
He's loyal to the angels.
But as I've said for years now, these pros ain't loyal.
And that's part of the game when you see how owners are still able and capable of
treating their players. You know, say that to Luca and AD right now. So Trout O'Otani is really the
question here. Like you see, they were on the same team and you see the paths they took. I think
you got to take a little piece out of these playbooks and use them in your own life. You know,
Rich and I, even here at Radio Row, we passed by other people that employed us. And we say to
ourselves, you know what, glad we moved on. Time. It was time to move on. It's just sometimes hard
to move on. It's sometimes content and complacent and easy to stay and remain where you are right now
because there's a comfort involved. And that's the Mike Trout angle of it. Not only a comfort,
almost a very loyal, a very admirable mindset of you drafted me, I'm going to prove that you
made a right decision. Yeah, there's something honorable there too. But hold on. With Miles Garrett,
though, the sole reason for him wanting to leave, and it's always been his motive and his goal as a professional, is to win a Super Bowl.
So if he's saying to myself, like, look, you know, Adelia Sibya, I play for me.
I don't think that the Cleveland rounds are in any position to win a Super Bowl right now.
So that's why I came here and the goals are not being met, so I'm out.
Did you just quote that?
Do you just quote Yvonne Drago?
Yeah, he's saying, in a way, he's saying.
In a way, he's saying, in a way, he's saying, I want what's best for me,
and that's to play for a winning organization.
So he still has team in mind, but he wants to play for a winning team.
And I kind of respect that because it's much easier sometimes to stay where it's just comfortable.
And that goes for your employer and it also goes for your relationships.
The Bucks are a playoff team.
They're not at the caliber of Danny G that they were when, you know,
honest one to chip a couple years ago.
But do we feel that way about Dame Lillard?
Where he spent a decade plus and everyone's like, yo, how admirable?
He's the Blazers one star.
He was so, you know, they had a couple at one point, but you didn't feel that way about
Dame?
No, he was there for so long that I think that's why everybody was okay with him towards the end
of his run here going somewhere else.
That's my point.
It's like that girl in your life who says that you wasted her.
best years. It's like that.
You've done that to many girls. No.
We haven't heard that. You've heard that.
No, no, I've heard that. Other people have heard that.
How was your girlfriend, though?
Oh, she's got great years ahead of her. She's fine.
So.
Kvino dated her from 25 to 31.
Yeah, but what am I?
I'm chopped liver. If you don't,
if you don't end up with her? Yeah. You wasted?
You wasted her championship years.
And you're right. Everybody would say that. And that's unfortunate.
But you know what? Dame Lillard,
I bring him up because that is where
I'll put Miles Garrett.
played for a weak-ass organization that he gave it his best shot
and now it's like, all right, I did the right thing.
I want to win now. I want to win now. I've done the right thing.
Otani, Angels, did the right thing.
Anyway, it's a crossroads.
And you get there and it's bone thugs in harmony.
You're there. Rich sees Britney Spears, I know.
It's a crossroads. And that's where Miles Garrett was at.
And it happens to everybody at one point in their life, relationship, or career.
and you have to ask yourself this, right?
There's a fork in the road.
Do I go left?
Do I go right?
Do I go the road less traveled by, Robert Frost-style?
Do I pull a Mike Trout or a Shohei Otani?
And Miles Garrett is pulling a Shoahotani, and that has made all the difference.
All right, it's Fox Sports Radio live from Nola.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas?
guys. I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we
should call it and... Oh, we were thinking
I'm originally calling
it one of the early
names of our band before
Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes. I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the
podcast where people could call in and say, hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my
little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas, and
offered it up as a potential title
for the podcast. But thanks for remembering.

What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about
defining the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways
to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've
never seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted
this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like
Nas Reed. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nass would get that thing. That means.
Man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers,
why he got the ball.
Like, you go through a training camp with that, I say,
you figure it out real quick.
Oh, yeah.
Get your ass up and down the court,
and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart radio app,

Rich has powder on his nose now.
Is that powder on his nose?
Yeah, I was going to say, I'm so hype.
People can think I'm on Coke.
It's a bignet, everybody.
I'm sorry to break you the news, but everybody thinks you are because you're so hyped up.

I think that was Jamal Williams.
What do he say again?
Benietis.
Yeah, he's like, I can't wait to try to bignetties.
These are great bignettes, bro.
I think that's what he said.
I forget.
Well, enjoy those bad boys.
Again, it's a pleasure to be here, Radio Rowe.
I said it before.
It's day one.
This is the combo before the storm because as the week goes on,
the celebrities roll in, and we have tons of interviews.
It's always a great time.
Thank you, Fox Sports Radio Nation, for being part of it.
And now we're ready.
Are we ready, Danny Jay?
Yeah, let's do it.
All right, it's time for last one standing.
Hit it.
You have five seconds to battle for your sports trivia life.
Man.
Oh, I got it.
Yeah, I don't got it.
Put your electronic devices down and pick your sports knowledge.
It's CNR's last one standing.
Last one standing.
All right, I have four categories ready to go if needed a tiebreaker.
Each contestant gets five seconds to stay alive in the round.
If you run out of time or you answer incorrectly, Iowa Sam will take you out with his big bad buzzer.
Thank you, Sam.
We keep battling until you are the last one standing.
If you win two of the rounds, you are the top dog.
Here are the contestants four-time winner, Steve Covino.
Hell yeah.
To his right here in New Orleans, eight-time winner, Rich Davis.
Better than Brady, man.
Eight times.
Says no one.
Everwood's powdered sugar.
Back in the studio until he gets here Tuesday, 23-time winner, Dan Byer.
Still mad about that Washington answer from last week.
Oh, geez.
And we're going to go to the studio lines to see who's playing for a C&R stainless steel.
Swiggy.
It is Mark in San Bernardino.
Hey, Mark.
Yes, sir.
Hello.
Hey, Mark, what do you do for a living there in the IE?
I hear a social worker here at the Internet Empire.
He's been busy, busy all day to days.
As a matter of fact, at the corner, we have some people protesting for their country and other country.
That's another topic on another show.
Here we are.
I know.
I will hope you, hopefully you can focus here.
All right.
And by the way, spot is the fact checker during this game.
I hate it so much.
When I say your name, the clock is going to begin.
First category, fumble your chances.
You have five seconds to name an NFL team who was top 15 in turnovers in 2024.
Top 15 turnovers.
All right, Covino, you're going to be at first, and the clock starts now.
Let's go with the Jaguars.
Jaguars, yes, number nine, 24.
Rich.
I'm going to go New York Football Giants.
Giants, number 10 with 23.
Byer.
I'll go with the Titans.
Titans, number two with 34.
Yeah, good pull.
Mark and San Bernardino.
I'll go with the Brown.
Browns, number one.
That's why carrot wants out.
All right, Covino.
I'm going to go with the Jets here.
Jets are not on the list.
What?
You're out.
Loser.
Loser.
Loser.
Who is it?
All right, Rich.
Danny J.
I'm sorry to say this, you're Raiders.
Radeus.
Number four with 29.
Buyer.
Guys, Saints had to turn the ball over a lot, right?
They are not in the top 50s.
Oh, geez.
Marks call him a loser.
Loser.
standby.
Mark.
Titans.
Tight.
Already used it.
Quickly, another one.
Oh, the Patriots.
Patriots number 11, you're 24.
Nice.
Back to Rich.
The Bears of Chicago.
The Bears of Chicago are not on the list.
Damn it!
That means Mark.
Oh, congratulations.
Mark, you got one point.
Good round.
Mark, halfway to a Swiggy.
Missed the Niners,
Bengals, Bucks, Coles.
Cowboys.
Yeah, you're Niners.
Panthers, Vikings, Seahawks.
Yeah.
All right.
How come all our favorite teams were on that list, right?
It's not a good year.
All right.
Second category.
Quarter stack.
You have five seconds to name an NFL QB who has played in at least two Super Bowls.
There are 25 answers on the board.
NFL QBs played in at least two Super Bowls.
All right.
Here we go.
Mark and San Bernardino, you're going to be first.
Go.
Russell Wilson.
Russell Wilson, yes.
Of course.
And Byer.
Yep.
Jim Kelly.
Jim Kelly, yes, with four.
Rich.
Terry Bradshaw.
Terry Bradshaw, yes, with four.
Covino.
John Elway.
John Elway, yes, with five.
Back to Mark.
Patrick Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes, of course, with four.
Byer.
Montana?
Joe Montana, yes, with four.
Rich.
I'll just take it because no one said Brady yet, right?
Let's just get that out of the way.
There you go.
Thanks, Rich.
Thanks, Rich.
Thanks, Ted.
Govino.
I'll go an easy one.
Anyone seen my homes yet?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Eli Manning.
Eli Manning.
Two, yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
And back to Mark.
Hey, man.
I heard Peyton Manning.
Yes, four, yes.
Good call.
Byer.
Ben Rothusberger.
Rothelsberger, three.
All right, Rich.
Jim Plunkett.
Jim Plunkett.
Jim Plunkett. Yes, he is on the list.
Yeah, baby.
Covino.
Anyone see Russell Wilson?
Yep.
Steve Young, yes.
Yes, two.
Two.
Appearances.
Two appearances.
Oh, he made.
Appearances.
Yes, not appearances.
No, no.
Appearances.
Yes.
Yeah, played in at least two Super Bowls.
Maybe he got in the game?
In the game?
Yeah, maybe.
Maybe.
It shows a match.
Yeah.
Okay.
It's played in.
At least two suit.
All right, fair.
This list is confusing me now.
We'll have to double check that word.
Kurtz.
Could I, who's up?
I think it's a meat.
It's Byer, yes.
Kurt Warner.
Yeah.
Kurt Warner, yes.
Rich.
Bart Star.
Bart Star.
No.
Yeah.
You should be.
No.
He should be.
Yeah.
Really?
One and two.
It's a stat news list here.
Oh, oh, boy.
I know.
We left it up to the gods.
Maybe it cut off after 20, maybe after 25, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's out.
Who's next?
I'll tell you what, yes.
Take my word first.
Yes.
Come on.
For sure.
He is.
Okay, Covino.
Troy Aikman.
Good one.
Good one.
Yeah, three.
And back to Mark.
Brett Farr.
Yep.
Byer.
Bob Greasy.
Yep.
Rich.
Joe Thaisman?
Ooh.
Yes.
Yeah.
Good one.
Covino.
It's a good round.
I know.
Those are good.
Does Jalen Hertz count this year?
Oh, you know what?
Oh, Cove.
I mean, it's not quite Sunday, but yes.
It's a good pull.
That is.
Mark.
Quickly.
Oh, was everybody said?
Yeah.
Okay.
There's Pay and Maddie.
They said Drake.
Then we'll go where.
Yeah, out of there.
Buyer.
Roger Stalbock?
Yes, sir, Rich.
We're down to the slim pickings now.
I'm very impressed.
Three, two, one.
Boomer Seism is not right.
It's not right.
No, it's not.
Yeah, but we're running moving of one left.
Covino.
It's no way you're pulling.
We're down to the slim pickings.
Randall Cunningham?
No, no.
Byer's the last one standing in that round.
D.B.
Frank Tarkington?
Yes.
Was that the last one?
No, there were a couple.
Who else?
With an explanation point.
Unitas.
Unitas, okay.
He didn't start.
Earl Morrill started, I think Super Bowl.
Yeah, Earl Morrill's on the list.
Cubiac.
Tarkington.
I have a problem with this list with the Steve Young answer because I don't know when Steve
Young played in a Super Bowl unless the game the Niners beat the Broncos 5510 in the fourth quarter.
Did they give Steve Young like a snap?
We'll have to have our crack staff get on top of that.
I'm debating this.
All right, go on.
Mark and Byer each with a point as we go to the third category.
Test of time.
You have five seconds to name an NBA player.
You have five seconds to name an NBA player who's all time for most games played.
We'll take the top 20.
Covino.
LeBron James.
Yes, sir.
Rich.
Vince Carter.
Yes.
Byer, top 20.
Tim Duncan.
Tim Duncan.
Yes.
Love it.
I'm sorry.
All right.
We lost Mark and San Bernardino, so we go to Covino.
I hope he's all right.
He's in middle of a protest.
I know.
Let's go with Kareem.
Kareem, yes.
Rich.
Man, oh, man.
Three, two, one.
Tony Parker?
Tony Parker.
No.
Byer.
Kevin Durant.
Kevin Durant.
No.
No.
Oh, Covino's.
The winner.
No.
Should I throw one out there just for fun?
Yeah, go for it.
No Russell.
For most games played?
No.
Say less.
Say less.
I was going for the exclamation.
He was taunting us.
He was taunting us.
Robert Parrish had the most.
Oh.
I was a bigger fan of Larry Parish.
Kobe was on this list.
Lance Parrish.
Kevin Garnett.
All right, quickly, Byer and Cove are tied here as we go to the fourth category.
Playoff.
You have five seconds to name an NFL QB who has the most all-time passing yards in the playoffs.
All-time passing yards in the playoffs will take the top 25.
Bayer.
We're going to start with you, and the clock goes now.
Fred Farr.
Yep.
Number five.
Rich.
Tom Brady, just to get out of the way.
All right, number one.
I mean, what, are you supposed to leave it on the table?
Covino.
No.
Mahomes?
Yes.
Number seven.
Byer.
Peyton Manning.
Peyton Manning.
Uh, yes, number seven.
Number two, sorry.
Rich.
Steve Young.
Steve Young, yes.
Covino.
I was thinking Joe Montana.
Joe Montana, yes, number six.
Two Niners in a row, buyer.
I'll go Rathesburger.
Rathesburger number three.
Rich.
Uh, true breeze.
Drew Breeze, number eight.
Covino.
Uh, is Joe Burrow in this?
Joe Burrow is not in this.
Ah.
All right, back to buyer.
Elway?
Elway, let's see.
Of course.
Yes, sorry.
Number nine.
Just based on the four Super Bowl runs back to back.
Jim Kelly on this list?
Jim Kelly is number 13.
All right, Byer.
Gosh.
Philip Rivers?
Philip Rivers, yeah.
Oh, back to Rich.
Aaron Rogers.
Aaron Rogers, number four.
Back to Byer.
Gosh, you've got to give me more time on this.
I know.
You have five seconds?
Troy, Aikman.
Troy, Eakman.
Yes, number 14.
Back to Rich.
Got a volley here.
Three, two.
Donovan McNabb.
Donovan McNabb is on this list.
Oh, shut up.
Gosh, that was a slow countdown, Danny.
Right?
Oh, my goodness.
It's not like I'm stalling here, complaining or anything.
I'll give you three extra seconds.
Don't worry about it.
Hey, Danny, don't worry about it at all.
Don't worry about it.
No.
Three.
Phil Sims.
No?
What are you saying?
I just said Phil Sims.
Yeah.
Phil Sims?
We have a three-way tie, so we'll go to the update and we will come back with the tie break.
Perfect.
Dan Byer, what's going on?
Give us your update, my friend.
Look at this a tie game.
What's up?
Browns defensive end, Miles Garrett has requested a trade out of Cleveland.
The reigning defensive player of the year says it's always been his goal to win a Super Bowl.
In this statement says the goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton.
Browns have responded to Garrett's request by saying they have no plans on
trading him as he's under contract through 2026.
Commander's owner Josh Harris says the team will not be changing their nickname.
Raven signed offensive coordinator Todd Monkin to a contract extension.
Box without Janice, Dame, and Chris Middleton tonight against Oklahoma City.
Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton is going to retire at the end of this season,
23 years as the head coach of the Seminole basketball program.
And one note from Major League Baseball, as my screen has just gone.
blank here, but Major League Baseball and Commissioner Rob Manfred today banning umpire Pat
Hoburg after he was tied to a shared betting account saying it was a friend.
They said they found that Hoburg had no malicious activity or that any of the action was
tied to changing games.
However, he did intentionally delete messages that were tied to the investigation.
Guys, back to you.
Thanks, DB.
Thank you, DB.
Hey, coming up, we'll finish the game and more observations.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide.
range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about
what we should call it.
We were thinking I'm originally
calling it one of the
early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes. I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say
hey Jonas. And then I
wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer's Streeter Side

Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Hey, I'm Jared Adano.
You might know me as that loud guy who yells out, help on the internet.
Help!
Somebody!
Please!
But there's so much more to me than that.
I'm an actor.
I'm a comedian.
And recently, I've become quite the helper my head.
And on my new podcast, Hope from a Hippocrite, I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man.
If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice.

Hey, cream.

What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows.
Without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective
on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything
he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by,
like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too

And tomorrow I'm excited too
because we got more fun from Media Row here
at Super Bowl. We'll play some trivia.
More prizes to give away. And we're going to
battle, Rich, you and I. What's more motivating? Losing again for the Eagles or winning the three-peat
for the Chiefs? What do you find to be more motivation? That and more Super Bowl experiments. We'll
discuss that on the show, but we got to wrap this heated battle of last one standing. Yeah. And by the way,
Rich was right. Steve Young took three snaps when he backed up Joe Montana in his second Super Bowl.
There had to be a reason why Young was on that list.
Good call by you.
All right, here's the tie break.
No multiple choice.
It's whoever comes closest.
Just buzz in with your name to go first.
Here's the question for Bayer, Covino, and Rich, three-way tie.
How many INTs has Josh Allen thrown so far in his seven-year NFL career?
How many interceptions for Josh Allen so far in his seven-year NFL career?
Seven years.
Buzz in with your name if you want to go first.
I'll go first.
All right, Byer.
I'll say 63.
Okay.
Okay.
Dan Byer, I'm not even, I'm not playing like the price is right, one dollar game,
but I actually wrote that before you said that.
I wrote down 69.
I wrote 69.
So 69.
Okay.
I'm going to play that one dollar game because I wrote something a lot higher,
so I'll say 72.
72.
He has thrown 84 interceptions.
Wow.
That is Covino's fourth win.
Is that your fourth?
baby. Don't try to chip me.
That's right. I did it.
Who do you think you are?
I am.
That is Covino's fifth win.
Last one standing.
Thank you to everyone for point.
I think you are. I am.
As a Covino guy, I'm just as happy that he won.
Hell yeah.
Thank you.
You're a Covino guy.
You know what, Dan, when you get out here to New Orleans later this week, we'll celebrate.
Hell yeah.
Thank you, man.
Drink's on Covino.
He won the big game.
I appreciate it.
you're looking forward to seeing you out here buddy you too fine
have a good night but now listen tonight
are we gonna hit the field spot or what
yeah we're gonna be at the opening night
opening night it's gonna be at caesar super dome
obviously we went there last year we go every year
it's like a big media night where everybody's interviewing the players
and we always run into a bunch of people and we have a ton of stories so
we'll come back tomorrow with all sorts of observations from
being on the field, which is always a thrill.
And I do find it also humorous to watch Kavino try to balance his eating and drinking throughout a week.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, part of this is pacing yourself.
It really is because it's a lot of boozing and schmoozing.
Meanwhile, you still have a lot of work to do.
Yeah, no doubt.
So, hey, we'll have some fun tonight, and we will report back tomorrow all of our findings.
Oh.
Now, I do think tomorrow is an interesting thought because Kavino and I are going to debate.
We totally disagree on.
who has more to lose or win when it comes to the Eagles and Chiefs?
And I know you have some good thoughts on,
because you always have this narrative like who wants it more or who needs it more.
Like, I don't believe in those things.
So we'll get to that tomorrow, live here from New Orleans.
We'll have some grits, have some hurricanes,
and we'll check back in tomorrow.
Until then, check out the pod.
Wherever you get your pod, just search Kavino-N-Ritch.
Until then, Arributherchi, baby.
See you in the Promise Land.
