Thanks for Megan as part of your day. J. Mack, you and I like to occasionally throw a few dimes down on football. We like to bet, and I think we both, you bet it more, basketball than I do. I think I bet more college football than you do, and we both bet the NFL. Neither one of us bets baseball. I do not. But we love our NFL bets. Well, you know, you do get a little skittish giving out all these bets on air because then people follow us and, you know, you feel great when it hits, but we got to remember, like 58% is good in NFL gambling. Except this. We'll go 10 for 10. You should take these as the Bible. 10 for 10. Okay, cowards, got it.

All right. It's our version of over-under. So they're called future bets. Vegas, Draft Kings, the big companies say, hey, here's a number. Like, for instance, nine and a half. And Draft Kings is, you have to pick. Do you think your team will win over that number or under that number? So it's over-unders.

It's one of my favorite things about, I love betting these. They're really fun in college football where you've got 300 or 130 teams to pick from, but we got 32. So you're ready to go? Yeah, yeah. All right. My first over, the Texans over nine and a half. Listen, it's a good roster, and it just got better.

Stefan Diggs, Joe Mixon, Daniel Hunter. Those are really nice players. I just can't see this team in this division going eight and nine and nine and eight. I think they have a rising star in coaching. Is C.J. Stroud going to get better? Well, didn't Joe Burrow get better in his second, third year? Like, he'll be better even if it's granularly better. Again, I just like everything except ownership with this team.

I think three straight years they've gotten everything right in personnel, where New England three straight years has gotten everything wrong. It may only be a 10-7 team. But I just don't see it as a 500 team. I think they're too talented and have too much good leadership from GM to coach to quarterback coordinator. Those guys are all A's. They're just going to outsmart their way to at least 10 wins. That's my first over.

Wow. Okay, I didn't know we were doing it like this. Producers let me know. My first over is Texans over nine and a half as well. So I don't know if that's good or bad to start. But, Colin, they won 10 games last year and Stroud missed two because he got knocked out of the Jets game. Okay?

Like, how were they nine and a half? I don't understand what I'm missing here. Is everybody going to be betting the Texans and maybe there's some regression coming? Well, I think the division is better. Anthony Richardson should play. Incrementally, but we don't know if he's good. Like, we don't think the Titans are that much better.

Jags, I don't know. I have this. The Texans are favored in their first six games. So they have some newness, five new starters on defense. So when you're working out the kinks early, it's against teams you should beat. Now, they'll need that because the back half of the schedule is tough. And I think they're fine to get over 10. I think they're a 10-11 win team. I mean, Diggs, Nico Collins, Tankdale. It's a great team, man. All right. Here's my first under. Titans under six and a half. There is evidence in the last eight starts with Mike Vrable, Will Levin. is not an NFL starter. 57% completion percentage, 77 passer rating. Now, he didn't have much to work with, but Vrable's a good coach.

The division, I think, is going to be better. I think Houston, Jacksonville, and the Colts will be better. I like all three of their drafts. So I just, I look at their schedule. They open at Chicago, and then with Aaron Rogers, and they open, the Jets will have just lost

to the Niners, so their home opener looks like an L. And their opener looks like an L. And once Will Levis is O and two, the wolves are out. I'll take Tennessee under six and a half. Okay, my first under is, let's see, the New England Patriots under four and a half. I thought about that. That's my favorite under.

So, Colin, they're underdogs in every game on the schedule. And if you look at the lines, it's not even like one or two. The majority of their games are over an underdog field goal. By a field goal, meaning like the market doesn't trust these guys at all. New quarterback, new OC, new head coach. We're already seeing defensive injuries to bar more issue with Judon. I don't like the Patriots at all. This could be two or three win team.

My next over, Denver, five and a half. I've said this over and over. First of all, they got rid of Jerry, Judy, and Russell Wilson. I'll argue the locker room will be better. Secondly, the offense wasn't the issue. They drafted another receiver. Mims ends up being very good. They won eight games last year.

I do not think their roster is as bad as everybody says. PFF has a top 10 offensive line. Bow Nix is accurate, smart, and coachable. He'll move the chains. I don't think he'll pop, but he'll move the chains. And again, the Raiders could be the worst team in the league. I just cannot see this team going 5 and 12. I can see them going 7 and 10.

I can see them not going 500. But the bar is so low. Five and a half. The defense, by the way, they paid attention to that as much as they could in the draft. I think they're a seven, eight win team. All right, I'll go Panthers over five and a half wins. Now, this was four and a half, and it was bet up to five and a half, Colin. So somebody out there really loves Carolina.

How about this stat? Last year, they went two and 15. They did not lead in the fourth quarter at all last season. Both wins were on the final play of the game. This is a team that nobody wants to touch, and you know how we feel sometimes when absolutely. Nobody wants any part of a team. Give it to me.

Easy schedule. I like Dave Canales to help Bryce Young get better. I like the Panthers over five and a half. I'm going to take the Chiefs under 11 and a half. With Harbaugh in the division, with Herbert, you're going to lose one of those games. They lost Ligerius Sneed their top corner. Harrison, Butker comments, Rishie Rice, legal troubles. This is still a wide receiver core that I would never trust.

This was a bad team in the middle of the season, 10 to week 14. Again, they'll be fine eventually, but they're aging at key spots like Travis Kelsey. The division's better. I see him as an 11 and 16, 10 and 7, but I do not see them as a top of the AFC 12 or 13 win team. Spicy. I will go under 9 and a half on the Miami Dolphins. Just too much newness on the defense. And Colin, I love to look at schedule as we bet over unders.

The final six games of the season for the dolphins are tougher than anyone else in the league. has three cold weather games and the other ones are just brutal opponents. So if they're not at like seven wins heading into December, just forget about it. So I like the dolphins going under nine and a half. My next over, Minnesota over six and a half. They won seven games last year with four different quarterbacks. They have too much talent on offense. And this is a division.

Lions and Packers are not great defensive teams. Bears could be good, but they're going to face if you look at their schedule, some average defenses. under Kevin O'Connell, the head coach, the tall Sean McVey, they have the number three passing offense, and they've done this with a lot of different guys. Darnold won't be spectacular, but he'll move the chains, left tackle, running back, O-line, receiver, tight end, head coach, way above average.

The NFC does not have a lot of stifling dominant defenses. I'm taking this team to be around 500, 7-8-9 wins, over 6.5. I'm with you. I don't have much to add. I'll just say one name that jumps out. Their running back situation last year was just horrendous. They couldn't do anything. I think O'Connell upgraded that. I like the weapons. I'm with you. Vikings over six and a half. Okay, so we both agree with the Vikings. Under, Raiders, under six and a half, a mess at quarterback. They're the only team in the league that doesn't have their next quarterback. Aidan O'Connell can't move. He's a pocket guy.

Antonio Pierce got the job because in interim position, the team played really hard. but the defense could regress. They're incredibly dependent on Max Crosby, who's amazing, but they need help. I just don't think it's a very good football team. I think as Harbaugh... I mean, look at the division. Andy Reed twice, Sean Payton twice, Jim Harbaugh twice.

Antonio Pierce never been a head coach. I think they're a five or a six-win team. I'll take the under six-and-a-half Raiders. I got under as well. I wonder, is Crosby and Devante Adams on this team in December or do they get shipped at the deadline? If his team's awful. This team has no identity.

I don't even know who the face of the team is. They're just not good. I think the Raiders are a disaster. I'm with you. Under six and a half. Wow, we agree in both. My next over, Falcons over nine and a half. Part of this is the division's a mess.

I like Atlanta. Kirk Cousins, a massive upgrade over Desmond, Ritter, and Taylor Heineke. The O-Lines top six, according to PFF. And they've got really nice pieces they couldn't use. Like Bejohn Robinson. Drake London, Kyle Pitts. just can't get the ball the last couple years to those guys. Now those guys are going to explode.

I think this is potentially a big over. Getting close to the over by Thanksgiving. I think this team could win 12 games. Wow. I will go Eagles over as my next, and that's my best bet for an over. Philadelphia Eagles, over 10 and a half. Division, very suss.

I think, like you said, the Cowboys fading. I think this could be sneaky, the best offense in the NFC. I know we like Lions and Packers and Rams, but the Sequin Barkley Edition, and we could be underselling it, Colin. I love the Eagles over. 10 and a half. Okay, this isn't a strong play,

but I'll take Cowboys under 10.5. I think they're about a 10-7 team. Incredibly reliant on CD-LAM. I like Tony Pollard, gone. I like Michael Gallup, gone. I like Tyron Smith, gone. No free agent acquisitions. Don't think they have any impact players from the draft.

They didn't. They're getting old. They're still rebuilding the offensive line. Dak, when he throws 40 or more times, has a losing record. This team has one of the weaker running back rooms. I think Dallas is okay, but I do not see them as an 11-win

team at best 10 or 9. I'll go Pittsburgh Steelers. We never finish under 500. Give me the under 8.5. For Mike Tomlin, I'm sorry, Pittsburgh fans. Hey man, I backed you guys last year. Kenny Pickett disappointed me. I don't love anything about this offense this year. I think they're an

under 8.5 one team. All right. One of my stronger overs. Rams over 8.5. Sean McVeigh's won nine-plus games in six of a seven seasons. Puka Nakua now gives them a great receiving core. They bolstered their defense at Corner with Tradavius White, Darius Williams. Blake Corum now, they've got a star running back. This team defensively in their front is young, but really, really talented. McVeigh may be the second best coach in the league.

Stafford on any Sunday is as good as any quarterback in the league. I'm sorry. over eight and a half. This is an easy one. I see them as a 10-11 win team. I feel the same way about that. New York Jets. Over nine and a half. Smash that. I mean, hammer it. They're winning the division. Rogers healthy. Offensive line, incredible. Defense elite. Colin, my second best overbet on the board. Jets over nine and a half. Finally, my under, it'll be close. Don't feel really strongly, like I said about the Cowboys. But Niners under 11 and a half. They've become incredibly dependent.

Christian McCaffrey. They've had a very noisy off-season. By the way, Kyle Shanahan has been held under 11 wins in four of the seven seasons. He's got a losing record without Christian McAfrey. Like, I love Kyle Shanahan, but they're very much about Christian, and I think he's had a lot of carries the last several years. So I think this is a good team. I would not be shocked if they made a move at the trade deadline. I think there are certain limitations, bad weather games for Brock Purdy. We saw that when it was a little rainy in Cleveland. I think they're a good football team. Ten or eleven or eleven. I do not see over eleven and a half, so I'll take the Niners under eleven and a half. I have the Niners winning the Super Bowl, but also under eleven and a half wins. It's nothing about, I don't think the team got worse.

I'm kind of with you. That's right. It's just this is a marathon, not a sprint. Like we were close last year. We're going to make it again. And if you look at the schedule, it is difficult with the rest differential, whereas they're playing on like a Monday night, then they got to play Sunday. again, the league really screwed them schedule-wise. Warren Sharp has dug into this and got the numbers. So I'll go under on the Niners. Yeah, Warren's right about that. When you start getting to week 12, 13, 14, if you don't rest enough, it's an issue. So there are the Herds' favorite NFL futures. We agree on...

Texans. We agree on the Texans. We agree on the under with the Niners. Vikings over? Yep, we agree. So we've got some agreements there. I'm surprised you don't have Patriots. Interesting.

I thought that was I strong. I strongly consider the Patriots. I did. It came down to the Patriots or the Cowboys, but I just think to myself, God, can't you win five games? It's hard to be four and thirteen. I mean, you have to be atrocious everywhere.

Just a new coach, new quarterback, new offensive coordinator, brutal schedule. Diana Rusini, sitting patiently and waiting. I love football so much. I just, you have no idea. That's as much fun in my life as I could

have just doing talking to you and doing over-unders I love all this stuff and so do you I'm so glad you like that I uh first of all you describe me as patient you've known me long enough to know that is not what I am it's a major flaw of mine that I need to work on but I get it I think I think it's just the time of year we all like to be optimistic I love watching training camp clips right now seeing everyone working hard the pads are on it feels real we still have a long ways to go though and I think I know I've been reminding myself of that as I've been kind of falling down these little wormholes of stories. And I'm like, it's August 1st.

I got to chill out here. But at the same time, there is tons of really good stuff going on, a lot of stories to get into. So, Mike, this has been one of my themes over the last three weeks. Players like Justin Fields, even when he was losing in Chicago, he was loved in the locker room. Russell Wilson, not so much. Now, Tomlin says yesterday, Justin Fields has taken advantage. Okay, I know, I'm not trying to just start something here. I do think he's going to challenge for the job at some point.

What do you hear? Absolutely. I think you go back to how this all started, which was the pole position, right? That doesn't mean no competition. Mike Tomlin never took that off the table. He's a veteran. He's smart enough to know that.

You never say there's no quarterback competition when you have players in the positions that these two guys are in. So from day one, this was going to be who was going to get the edge. We're also just walking into camp, because he's a veteran. And he has that experience and that time in the league overall. But he gets hurt. He's got this cath issue from pushing sleds during conditioning drills,

which I still don't understand why they had their quarterbacks doing that. So from what I'm hearing over the last few days is similar to what Mike is revealing through the media, which is, look, he's taking advantage of his opportunities. But what does that mean, right? It's sharp. It's making his throws on time. It's understanding what Arthur Smith is asking from him. It's learning the offense, putting the work,

and he's doing all the things that's asked of him. And you point to the fact that Chicago struggled with letting go of Justin Fields. I'm not just talking about the fans. I'm talking the building. It was almost emotionally challenging for them and difficult for them to make that decision when they knew it was the right one. At least that's what most of the people there, the decision makers knew was going to be the right decision for them

knowing that they could get Caleb Williams, who will now take over. But to see Justin getting this opportunity, taking advantage and seizing it, I have a podcast called Scoop City with Chase Daniel. He spends every show talking about how he thinks Justin Fields is going to win the job. He's like he's got to win the job. He's going to be able, he's that good because he now has the right support. Sometimes just a change of environment can do wonders. And we thought that would be the case with Russell and Denver.

We did. right but but we know that just that match with Sean Payne is specifically that was never going to work but Colin my question is and I and I had a conversation with the GM this morning about it if Justin Fields wins the job what type of backup quarterback is Russell Wilson going to be yeah that that's a really really complicated dynamic I think yeah so there's a bite I just didn't like this at all and for years in years Green Bay fans said you media people are creating out of nothing. He would, Aaron would take passive aggressive shots at the Green Bay Packers. And eventually, they just said when he came out of that darkness retreat, they just bailed on him.

They're like, enough is enough. He said, I'm surprised. So he and Robert Sala. So Sala, when the Egypt trip came out, Salah's like it's inexcused. And my take was, you don't need to say that. Just, just, he's gone. We agreed to it. Just don't use inexcused. Don't use that word. Aaron keeps score. So Aaron said this. Let's play the bite of Aaron talking about what Salas said about Aaron not playing in the preseason. Yeah, I mean, that's Robert's decision. I've never told him I don't want to play in the preseason. If he decides he wants me to play against the Giants, I'll strap it up and look forward to that. I don't have any restrictions. I'm doing keepers, rollouts. So it was a

news to me yesterday when he said I wasn't going to play in the first two. Eric sent me that. Thank you. But we hadn't even had a conversation yet about that. Yeah, so we hadn't had a conversation. I didn't love that. I'm sorry. I think you could have stopped after, you know, I'll do what the coach says. What do you make it? Am I making, once again, like Green Bay, am I making too much of all these snippy comments at the podium by the coach and the quarterback?

Yeah, it's like he's driving. down the road and then at the last second, it just makes a little, a little quick little right, and that you're like, oh, you almost just finished it without any drama, but of course, drama. And dramas may be being dramatic by describing it that way, because I don't sense

that there are issues in the building in terms of that relationship. I think Aaron Rogers knows what Robert Salah is. I think Robert Sala knows what Aaron Rogers is, and he needs Aaron Rogers to play the absolute best he possibly can this year in order to help Robert Sala keep his job. And, you know, after that whole Egypt's

situation where, you know, I was told that Robert Sala told Aaron Rogers that the reason why he said it was unexcused is he wanted to let the world know that he runs the team and Aaron Rogers doesn't. Well, you just had him run the team for the last year. You can't all of a sudden just take it back. You know, and I was told that they had a good conversation. They fixed it. Everything was good. And look, out on the field, the offense had a little bit of a rough one or two days, but they've been sharp. A couple of bad snaps from under center, a couple little sloppy things. We've seen some of the heated arguments, we'll call them these animated conversations he's having with his, with his weapons. All of this is good. The building loves this, because this is where

Aaron Rogers is his best. When he's a leader, when he's a teacher, he knows how to win. So you have the ears of this team listening to him because they know when it comes to the football, the football of what they're doing, that's where they want to lean into him. And while Robert Sala apparently doesn't seem to be communicating with his quarterback with the situation is, they probably need to work that out soon because we're going to be spending the entire year translating what's going on between both of them. So Belichick going to take the year off, and I think that's actually sometimes getting off the treadmill for anybody in any career, is a good thing. It's hard to improve when you're in the grind, right? And so Belichick's now doing some media stuff.

with all your sources, how is that viewed around the league that he only got one interview and it wasn't apparently that serious? How is this new venture being viewed? Well, first of all, Colin, have you ever talked to a coach after he was fired? I don't care if you're a Hall of Fame coach or you have just a one-year stint. They're physically and mentally spent. They're a shell of themselves. I know so many coaches who after about like two weeks after they get fired, get horrendously sick.

Like in bed, can't move. It's almost like the weight of everything just hits them, like a ton of bricks. And it's kind of common that this is what happens after the season. Even for coaches that win, it's just when the season ends, it just knocked you over, but especially for those who've been fired. And Bill taking a year off, who knows what it can do for him in terms of his own personal growth at his age. And if he seems to be open to it, now the guy that hates the media is getting in front of it.

Around the league, though, the conversations, because there's definitely ever a little chit-chatty about, look at Belichick here, playing the media darling role, going through a public relation makeover, you know, a facelift, so to speak, to connect with those owners to show, look, I connect with those young people. I can be cool. I can, I'm not just the old ball coach. I'm able to adapt, right? And it's interesting to watch because then, you know, we haven't seen much of Pete Carroll anywhere. We know he still wants to coach. We don't know where he'll wind up. And then all over social media, we're seeing Mike Frable with the Cleveland Browns, where he's a consultant right now out on the field, doing just old school hands-on coaching, working with David Najoku with the tight ends. He's sprinting across the field with James Winston doing what he probably needs to do for his own mental health,

which is coach football. So I just find it really interesting, Colin, to watch the different, let's just call them PR moves here from both these coaches who I think will both have jobs next year, approach, sort of show the owners, pick me, choose me, and we'll see who's going to be the one standing at the end here in which style work, the guy that's getting out in front of the cameras, staying in your face,

or the guy that's showing that he is collaborative, that he is into analytics, that he can be open to learning other things and he's not a stubborn New England way of doing things. So that's really been a lot of the good conversations I've been having with people as coaches are watching this. And I can tell you some coaches that have the job that are worried if they get fired,

Vikings. We agreed on the Vikings. You know what, it is interesting, though. I knew the Jets would be an over for you. Well, if I could pick one of yours that I don't like, and you could pick one of mine that you strongly disagree with. Which one would you pick with mine that you strongly disagree with? Well, on principle, I'm done like fading Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in any capacity.

So I think that's risky given Reed's history of going over almost every year. Yeah. I think it would probably be that one. No, no, let me go Broncos. I don't see what you see. I mean, you're on the phone with Peyton every day. I know you're talking to them, designing plays and stuff. but I don't see six wins from that team.

You go down the schedule. Maybe you can find four, but then you've got to find two more, and that's assuming health for Bo Nix or Stidham. I think because of their O-Line, I think Bo Nix starts and finishes the season, and I think they have better than average backups. Remember, 60 quarterbacks played. So some of those games in the second half of the season,

Bo Nix could be facing a backup. Yours? Real quick on my unders, if you see a theme, four of them are in the A.S. AFC is brutal. If you want unders, go AFC. Take some of the bad teams. And then I took the Niners under just simply because I think there's a little, and 11 wins. Eleven wins is a great season and possibly the number one seed, but it's still not going over the total of 11.5.

Yeah, I have real misgivings about the Jets over. I will tell you're probably right. It's hard to see the Steelers being like 7 and 10. God, their roster is so good. The Steelers? I love their roster. What, the defense or the offense? I think they up, I think two backs, two receivers, good tight end, upgraded the O line. They always get to the quarterback, mink in the back end.

They always have great linebacker pursuit and, you know, pressures. You know what? I love the ingredients in my kitchen. I love them. They're amazing. But I stink at cooking. And I question the offensive coaching from the Steelers. get anything done. Like, the play calling is just so poor. How many times did they run last year

into the line of scrimmage? First and 10 runs right. Like, that's the dumbest thing you can do on offense. Let me just give it to Najee Harris for a one-yard gain. And then now I'm setting up my quarterback in a long, second and long. I don't like the play calling from the Steelers. But they've got talent, like you said. That's a pretty good analogy there. You like that with the cook and the ingredients? Yeah, no, there's something to it. When the wife says, hey, can you make something for dinner? I say, sure, let me open an app, find something to order. Scramble eggs and English muffins.

He's got to get on my page, but I've got to get on this page too because he's got a whole book that I need to understand fully of skill set and ability and feel and rhythm and all the different things that he does out there. So those are good conversations. They might appear to be much more heated than they are. But there's usually a smile on our face afterwards, at least one of us. that didn't bother me at all.

That's called sports. I have a much bigger problem with coach quarterback taking subtle shots at each other with the podium. That goes to my, if you're arguing with your wife at a party publicly, what's it like on the drive home? This stuff doesn't bother me. That's called being a leader. I would rather Aaron be contentious or aggressive or, you know what I mean, instead of passive aggressive. He cares. Yeah, Peyton Manning did this.

Brady did this. I got no problem at all with it. Aaron telling a young receiver, dude, you move off the route here, not there. I got no problem with a quarter. This is called being a great quarterback. It's called playing sports. You have to bark occasionally as a quarterback. Peyton did it a lot.

A lot of people online. Drew Brees did it a lot. I've seen Mahomes screaming as coordinators. Well, the people online freaking out about this clearly have never played any sports. No, it's incredible to me. And you get, if Rogers got in his face like, face to face and was screaming at him. That's a different story.

You know, this is what happens in sports. Here's what bothers me. Hassan Reddick's unsigned. That's a problem. That I don't like. The Matthew Judon video where the coach comes over to talk to him, Judon's talking, stands up, says some stuff, and walks away. That ain't great.

This is much to do about nothing. This is two employees, one in the leadership role, having a strong conversation. I mean, literally this is nothing. And Garrett Wilson called the conversation. enlightening? I'm not... That's what you call them,

and I have to tell you to cut down your herd line from 12 minutes to 9. I got a lot to say. That's the bottom line. I got a lot to get off my chance. I have to enlighten you. Let's get to the Detroit Lions

coming off one of the best seasons in franchise history. They were within minutes of making the Super Bowl. Off last season's success, Brad Holmes, the GM, doesn't want the team to embrace the change of circumstances

saying, always have to have the mentality of the hunter, adding we always have to stay hungry. Dan Campbell trying to keep his troops hungry. I saw Jared Goff got married this offseason to the swimsuit model. And, you know, I'm looking at the lions up and down. I notice we didn't have them in the over-under. I think they are, I don't trust him in a big spot because situationally, Dan Campbell makes decisions that are way too emotional and not pragmatic and,

and strategic. So I don't see him winning a Super Bowl, but I see him being very, very good, and that's what Vegas and Draft Kings and all the big guys have him as. I think they're a very, very good football team, second, third best roster in the NFC, but I do not trust in a big spot,

Dan Campbell, situationally, against the McVeigh, against the Lefleur. I don't. But they had a big lead in the NFC championship game. They were in control of that. Rams were one call away from winning that game against them. in a rebuild year.

Yeah, I mean, basically, I felt like Ben Johnson. I'd have to look at my notes from the game, but Ben got a little conservative in the second half. Remember the offense, got the ball. Touchdown, touchdown, touchdown to start the game. But that Niners game, man, you look back at that, Colin. They were close to the Super Bowl. This Lions team was right there.

Rock Party Heroics, a drop by Josh Reynolds. I'm sure you remember in Niners' territory. I like the Lions team. I don't know if they could duplicate last season. I think they will duplicate it. I think they'll be really good. But just not great. Okay.

Final story is basketball. Team USA got the dub over South Sudan, one by 17. Did not cover the spread 28 and a half. Keep telling you, be careful betting on these guys. So the U.S. advances to the quarterfinals. Bam out of bio had 18 off the bench. He was spectacular. Six players and double figures.

We seem to be the only show on TV mentioning that Steph Curry is kind of sort of struggling at the Olympics. He is. I think South Sudan is long and big and twitchy. They've got really good athletes. They're bigs, their wings. They're a tough matchup for anybody. Yeah, I think Steph Curry is, you know, by Steph Curry standards, he's struggling. 0 for 6 from 3 against South Sudan.

He wasn't great. It's fine. And I think he can see it. And listen, Curry's my guy. I love him, my favorite player. In my men's league, I wear 30 for Curry. They're hunting him on defense. Well, also.

Every possession. He struggled. at times at the end of last season. He is on the back nine. I mean, I think he's one of those guys like Christian McCaffrey. Still great, but how many carries can Christian McCaffrey get again this year? How many games

can Steph Curry completely carry the Warriors? Whereas LeBron at least has an AD who, Draymond's not a score. So if Steph doesn't play, Warriors get smoked. It's weird. Remember how we talked about like in Olympics

past, there was a lot of recruiting to try to team up and join forces. There's not a lot of chatter about that coming out of this, but I'm telling you, every video I see, Steph Curry is hanging out closely with all the, like one-on-one with Anthony Edwards talking trash with ping pong. Steph Curry and LeBron always talking about their chemistry. I just wonder if Curry is seeing all this talent around him,

knowing he's older, knowing the Warriors are kind of sliding downhill, and just, man, fun is how much fun is happening. Well, I mean, they are totally reliant on his scoring now. Totally. Like, LeBron cannot play. And with AD and Reeves, they can win games. They did last year. Like, if Steph doesn't play, you can't get, there's no points here. Like a 25-win team. Yeah.

So she's going to make more money with this new basketball league, $250,000, than Caitlin Clark makes in the WNBA. So I preached when you get momentum, when you get a moment, you better take advantage of it. You better put her in the Olympics.

You better ride. She's Taylor Swift in sneakers. There may not be another tour like Taylor Swift forever, Ticketmaster. You better be ready. And they weren't. So what is this saying? This new league. It's created by WNBA stars like Breonna Stewart, one of the better players in the league.

It's saying translation, treat us better. Breonna Stewart, her quote, when they created this league, was for years, women have relied heavily on off-court sponsorships for a majority of their income. With unrivaled, we're prioritizing our stars and ensuring their on-court performance is reflected in their pay. Very, it says, live golf. Mickelson complained. You started hearing golfers complain about where's all the money going?

Why are we not respected? Why are stars not taken care of? You've seen this with all, uh, Belatar with UFC. This is where rivals happen. The ABA with the NBA. That's where it comes from. Take care of your stars. They move to a different, you know,

platformer league. So you don't get, you're not going to get another Caitlin Clark. You're not getting another one. So you get her in the All-Star game, the three-point shooting contest, the Olympics. We all know she's good enough to be on the Olympic team. The other last gamers two ago, they played Japan. Japan didn't have a player taller than 6'1. I mean, it was insane.

It was, it was JV against the varsity. It was like you couldn't have Caitlin Clark eight minutes. It would have helped. And by the way, to that point. of the six women's Olympic basketball games, the least attended Olympic game was USA versus Japan. The most dominant dynasty in Olympic history was the least attended. Why?

Caitlin Clark wasn't there. She wasn't going to be a distraction. It's a distraction. She's not. So this is the WNBA. They're still playing classic rock, and you got Taylor Swift on your hands. What are you doing? But, I mean, Diana Tarasi at one point went overseas.

for a year. She went overseas for a year to play, one of their stars. So when it comes to WNBA, the Caitlin Clark Early schedule was awful. They didn't pay for her to get into the three-point shooting contest. They didn't put her on the Olympic team. You get one Bryce Harper, a high school kid good enough to play in the majors. Like you get one Tiger Woods. We've heard for 20 years, oh, this guy's going to be the next. Rory McOr. No, no, no, no, one Tiger Woods.

There's not going to be another two or two. in America like Taylor Swift for 20 years. So this is what LiveGolf was. You got to take care of your stars. Phil Mickelson complained about it for years. That's one of the reasons I supported LiveGolf. What's the loyalty to the PGA? They don't control the Masters.

All the tournaments I like watching aren't controlled by the PGA. USGA, you know, St. Andrews, the British Open. Just saying, Jay Mack, keep your eye on this. This unrivaled league, this is Star, WNBA, players saying, you're not taking care of us. Interesting take. I'm reading about the league now. So it's a three-on-three basketball league.

Paying more than WNBA is. Do you remember when Ice Cubes League, what's the year? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Three ball or something. Yeah. Big three. They invited Caitlin Clark to play and we're going to pay her money. And she said no.

I mean, I'm not saying that this idea came out of that. But I wonder if they saw the money being offered to Caitlin Clark by Ice Cube. Well, the Ice Cube League, one of the fundamental issues is the NBA does pay at stars. Yeah. So, I mean, why would you in the NBA go there? No, because the NFL pays it stars. Baseball pays at stars. Hockey pays it stars.

The WNBA does not. Well, that's because I think the NBA owns them and basically was like, the WNBA is a losing product financially for the NBA for years. But they've set up a structure financially where they don't even pay their stars. Well, I mean, how much can you pay them when the league's losing money every year? Well, it was for a while losing prospect. A lot when it's subsidized by somebody else. Yeah, I'm sure the NBA loved that. By the way, even, you know, when WNBA was subsidized, you've got to pay your stars or your stars a leaf.

It's like the movie business. You pay. But were they going to go? Okay, you want to go play in Germany? No, no. They go overseas. Britney Griner goes to Russia. I had that work out.

Like, no, no, no. But that was, I mean, the bottom line is. where are you going to go overseas? The only way for the WNBA to succeed. The only way was to maintain your stars. Well, the only way is to make money on the... It's a business. It's not true. A lot of companies sell not profitable.

That's not true. Okay, for how long, though? Well, I'm saying the athletic sold for 400 million. It loses 40 million a year. It still losing 40 million a year. But that was only for a few years. It's viable because they have a... No, they still loses money. It's sold and it's viable because it has top riders. They

take care of their top riders. So WNBA's been around 20 years now? 20-ish. And they were losing money every year. Who's going to pump more money into that? It's not, it's subsidized. Yeah, exactly. The NBA's saying, hey, we'll put a little bit, but we're not putting a lot. We're not paying

whoever Kelsey for them. So that's why I continually say, when you do get a Caitlin Clark. Yeah. Now, don't slow build it. You put her into everything. You pay her whatever you've got to pay to get her in the three-point shooting contest. There is no no.

The answer is yes. There is no no. What do I have to pay to make you play? Everybody's got a number, including Caitlin Clark. I need rest. Four million? I need rest. Six.
