Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the I-heart radio app, Apple
podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts. Hey, I'm Deanna Maria
Riva, and on my new podcast, How Hard
Can It Be? I call on my Gen X squad
from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate
Midlife's most fantastic BS.
Unfiltered conversations
from night sweats to futas, to
scheduling sex. Wait, what
sex? Is it just me, or
does every woman my age
want to look at Pinterest instead of having
sex sometimes? They say we can't
polish a turn, but we're sure going to try. So let's
get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter.
Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Deanna Maria Riva on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was crying. You just understood.
That's how personal it got. Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis come in to him. He's like, you know I love.
You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Live in Los Angeles on a Friday hour two.
Great to be in.
Shady McCoy, who was great in snow games.
Going to talk about Sequin Barclay.
He knows Rex Ryan very well.
Shady's going to be great today.
Don't go anywhere.
J. Mack.
The dogs are barking this week in the Blazing Five.
You know, as a rule, I like underdogs.
But star quarterbacks and double-digit favorites have done well this year.
I did not take the Chiefs as a double-digit favorite.
I stayed away.
This is my favorite underdog weekend of the year.
The weather gets crappy.
Scores come down a little bit.
Teams like Cleveland feel, it's their last shot.
San Francisco, this is the season.
So you get these teams that are, this is the season for like average teams who think they're good.
you're going to get a good effort from underdogs this week.
The biggest practice report to watch today is Brock Purdy with the Niners,
given what went down yesterday, yeah.
Here we go. It's our Blazing Five.
That's a hot one.
Let's blaze it up.
Fire it up.
It's Collins, Blazing Five.
Lions and Coles.
I'm calling for an upset.
I'm going to take the Colts plus seven and a half to upset at home.
The Detroit Lions, step up in competition,
awful blowout win,
looking ahead to that game against the Bears.
in division on Thanksgiving. Anthony Richardson has won four of his last five starts and played
his best game as a pro against the Jets. Long drives, throwing the ball downfield. This is a Detroit
pass defense that can be susceptible and they don't have the pass rush they had earlier in the season.
Anthony Richardson has won four or five starts. This team has had an NFL high six games
decided by three or less. The Colts play close games. Upset. Coults.
28. Lions
27.
Patriots and Dolphins.
I'll like Miami to win. I'm going to take New England in a rivalry game plus the seven and a half.
Drake May?
Pretty good.
Last four games, this team is two and two.
Gerard Mayo has them playing great defense.
Number five scoring defense in the league over the last three games.
And the dolphins, let's be honest, they've been playing better,
but their wins have come against the Raiders, the Patriots, the Jail.
Jaguars. I thought Drake May last week step up in class against a very young but very good
Rams defense played very good football. I think it's a close divisional game. I see a Miami team
that's got better players, but seven and a half, I'm taking the hook. Miami wins. 2824, Patriots
cover. 49ers at Packers. Okay, I'm going to assume Brock Purdy's going to play and I'm going to
take the Niners plus three in their final big game of the year.
Here's why. They're 3 and 1 this year following a loss. Their offense is still top five in the league in yards per game and third down percentage this year.
Christian McCaffrey's giving you 100 plus yards. George Kittle comes back. The Packers needed a blocked field goal in the last play to beat the Bears. They were outplayed.
There were two and three are the Packers against winning teams. And Jordan Love has had at least one interception in nine games.
They're getting a little sloppy. They're getting loose. They're still a young team.
They were outplayed by the Bears, and I feel like this is the season for the San Francisco 49ers.
I'm taking the field goal.
The Niners win 28 to 24.
Cardinals at Seahawks.
One of these teams has an identity one dozen.
I like Arizona plus one.
They know what they are.
They're playing great defense.
They're averaging 27 a game almost in this four-game winning streak.
Or excuse me.
They've won four straight and five a six, and they're playing.
Really good offensive football.
Number five rushing offense in the league.
So it's not all Kyler Murray.
They are a physical tough running team.
And the Seahawks are on a four-game home losing streak.
They have no identity.
What is Seattle?
I feel like I get Arizona and a point to the better team.
I think they may have the better coach.
They have the better defense.
They have the better quarterback.
And again, I like teams that have an identity.
I think Arizona's grown into, they know what they are.
They are a very good run team that plays very good.
Very good defense.
Oh, yeah, they have a star quarterback.
I think Arizona wins could be comfortably.
30, 24.
I really like this team, and they're fun to watch.
Arizona, I'll take by six.
Eagles and Rams.
I don't get the line.
Philadelphia's got a much better roster.
I'm going to take the Eagles minus two and a half.
It's my one favorite pick this week.
Coming off extra rest.
By the way, they are 6 and 0 since they're week 5 by.
In that time, Jalen Hertz leads the NFL with 17 total touchdowns.
Sakewan Barkley in that time.
time leads the NFL in rushing.
A.J. Brown ranked 7 second in receiving yards.
This team, since the buy, is dominant.
They are pushing people around.
The Rams continue. It's been a year-long issue.
It's why they're going to draft an offensive tackle or three in the draft.
The Rams are beat up at both tackle spots.
We saw last week against New England.
They didn't get a lot of push.
They can be hot and cold offensively.
I like their defense in L.A., but it's young.
It's a year away from being great.
I'm taking the better roster.
hotter team with more star power.
I like Philadelphia 2821.
I'm going to lay the two and a half points.
It's my blazing five, J-Mack, anything, four dogs, and one Philadelphia Eagle favorite.
This is your riskiest card of the season, but I do think one of them for sure will be in
headlines at the end of the show.
You think that's a risky card?
Yeah.
Hey, one of us lives on the edge, baby.
Four road teams?
I get the better quarterback.
In most of my games, you notice that?
Anthony Richardson.
Hey, I'm calling an upset.
I know, I know.
You don't like that?
I like it a little too much.
Let's bring on LaShawn McCoy, two-time Super Bowl champ at the facility.
On the facility is joining us here in studio today.
What's up, guys?
What's up?
Okay, well, first of all, I want to talk about the snow loss.
So we said this.
Mike Tomlin, for whatever reasons, great on Sunday,
unbelievable on Monday, not great on Thursday.
They didn't feel really buttoned up.
And I've said I'd make Mike Tomlin my coach of the year and Sean Payton runner up.
But I felt like they're playing Justin Fields.
They have the better team.
They were good on third down.
Why is Justin getting six, seven snaps?
They wasted two timeouts.
I kind of felt like the better team lost.
Yeah, for sure.
I think those are definitely a better team than the Browns.
But I was telling people, man, it's such a hard game to pick just because, yes, the Schiller should win.
Yes, better team.
all that, better quarterback, better coach.
But divisional games are like that.
And another thing is the Steelers just played the Ravens.
That's always a physical game.
So just sometimes when you play a team and I don't know,
you won't be as sore that week.
But the Ravens and Steelers, you're always going to be sore.
And it's Thursday.
And it's a Thursday game, right?
So it's like everything had to happen for the Browns to win and it happened.
You know, but I don't make a big deal about it.
I think that the Stills are still a really, really good team, the AFC.
I think the weather helped out a little bit at home and et cetera.
Another thing is, like, even though the Stozo were a better team and the Browns weren't,
in divisional games, you find something to play hard for, right?
Look at Miles Garrett.
They don't have anything to play for, really, but he found something.
Oh, so you guys see there's a better defender in my division?
Oh, we played him Thursday night, everybody's watching on TV, and he showed up,
and you could tell that and miss something to him after the game he talked about it.
And that's the reason why he played like a mad man, he's a really good player,
but you give him just a little bit more motivation, and he gave you that.
Yeah, well, you play in division games, you play teams more.
And there's less secrets.
There's less.
It's kind of...
Twice a year.
Mono, a mono.
By the way, you played in snow, and you played very well in snow.
Yeah.
So I thought they were bringing in Justin Fields because with bad footing, I'm like, oh, like
Mike Tomlin said that's not the case, but we have some video of you in snow.
Did you like it?
I loved it.
The best part is like the guys don't hit you as hard.
The defense, they're kind of reduced speed, right?
They all the big guys.
And then when they tack it, it was like falling on pillows.
So it wasn't that bad, man.
That's funny.
So,
Sequin Barclay.
By the way, I love your picks, though.
Blazing FI, I love that.
The Eagles, I like that one.
Yeah, they're good.
So Sequin was always good.
But there is something to be said about when you put him with Jalen,
so you've got to be honest with Jalen.
Okay.
You put him with a better O line.
You put him with star receivers so a safety can't sneak down in the box.
It's almost like he was underrated goal.
going to the Eagles.
Because I feel like now, I mean, when I watch him play now, there's been three or four running
backs.
Zeke early.
Okay.
Adrian Peterson.
Shady.
There's about five of you guys where you're like, oh, that, you know, that's even better than a guy
I like Joe Mixon.
Yeah.
I'm watching Sequin now, and I think the Giants didn't realize they didn't have a receiver
so you could cheat in the box.
Right.
Right.
They had a bad offensive line.
Yeah.
When you put elements around Barclay, dude, he is.
man he is best of class one of my best friends Frank Gore we always talk about the running backs
and when we get the sayquine right this is when he's with the giants he is so god gifted
talented man that you give him a really really good office line I think the Eagles office line is probably
top three in the league sure maybe the lines first or or but the Eagles or second or however you want
to cut it but now you give him one-on-one opportunities I mean there's times when he has big holes
and then he's one-on-one with these safeties they're not going to touch him he's super fast
he's super explosive. It makes the first guy,
a lot of times the second guy I miss.
And he's that good. You bring him to our team, right?
And then now it's like, he's back to playing
meaningful games again. He's back to
having fun again. He talked about these
things. And then look at the wide receivers
we have. AJ Brown is probably, I don't know,
top three in the league is that good? I think they help
Sequin. Yeah, for sure. Because
now it's like, how do you really gain playing
for the Eagles? I'll give you an example. So
before the buy, now he was having
a tremendous year already, but before the buy, we were
throwing a ball at 30-some times a game.
Now you say, you know what, we don't need to do that, right?
We know J.L.A. Hertz is a good quarterback and he's getting paid.
Let's take it back a little bit.
Let's go through Sequin.
Give him 20-some touches a game, right?
You have maybe eight to nine, maybe 10 targets, something like that for A.J. Brown.
Sweeney gets a lot of them secondary targets.
And now we have a whole offense, and that's winning football, right?
And if we could be even more efficient in the passing game, we'll be even better.
Seqon is adding a guy like that to a team, and it only does well for the offense.
What about the defense?
Like we had on the facility, we had Derry Slay on there,
and he said, we don't even call Sequin, Sequin.
We call him Superman, right?
The defense knows, yo, we get him the ball back.
He's going to seal the game away.
And you see a lot of these fourth quarter games
where Seekwon is selling the game away.
So I'm so happy that the Giants gave a Seekon.
I mean, it was a blessing in disguise.
Okay, so you know Rex Ryan, okay?
Very well.
Okay.
So let's talk about your knowledge of,
Rex Ryan. How well do you know him?
Well, first of all, I know Rex very, very well, played with him in Buffalo.
Right.
He is the only coach in history, right?
That I shared a hot talk with during practice.
That's funny, right?
Like, I never, you know, head coach in the show.
What's going on?
What's going on?
How's everything going on?
Hey, coach, what's going on?
But now, Rex is a tremendous coach.
I think he'll be great for the Jets because he believes that he's part of that Jets
franchise.
Oh, no, he feels like a jet.
Yeah, and it's like he cares.
I think they keep going and getting all his different coaches
and trying to make a splash.
He is a New York jet guy.
And I think with a veteran team, he is phenomenal with.
Players are one of going to play for Rex.
I've been there with him.
In Buffalo, I want to play for Drex.
He's a hell of a coach, super smart.
Alpha.
Alpha.
On defense, they're going to be locked in for sure.
Right now, he probably has to go out and get a nice offensive of coordinator, you know,
but the players will play for Rex.
Okay, so let's play the tape because we're not just making this up.
Rex wants the job.
Listen.
There's way too much talent on this team to play the way we've been
playing, period.
And how hard can you get a guy to play?
That's the thing.
Like, nobody's seen a team going to play the way as hard as this team's going to play
in the future.
Trust me, if I'm the guy, trust me.
And that's going to be it.
That's what's going to separate me from all these other guys you're going to bring in.
You know, your groom, you're whoever, whatever.
Give me a break.
They ain't New York Jets.
I'm all about the Jets.
You know I like about that, though?
Because, see, come on, Jay, come on.
Seriously, though.
The one thing about Rex is he's not going to do all this.
He's not a pusover.
I don't care who the player is.
It can be Tom Brady.
Well, maybe Tom.
Who lives in the time?
But I got like Aaron Rogers, he's not going to let him just,
yo, we want this player.
I want this player.
I want this guy.
I want this guy.
I want this coach.
I might not want to do OTAs.
I got going to retreat.
He ain't going for all that.
He's going to make everybody accountable.
And that's what makes Rex Ryan different.
A lot of, I feel like a lot of coaches when I moved on from Andy Reed,
and I was like a name, right?
Right.
The coaches didn't really coach me the same.
They would, like, talk to the backup to talk to me.
Rex is not going to do.
that. Rex is going to let you know what it is
right there. And I think that's what
there's just any more accountability.
Too much talent on that team
for them to be playing like that. No, no, no.
They, come on. No, there's
players. That's, yeah.
So,
I said that
if Shadur Sanders is number one
and I think he will.
I could see Dion saying
it's my son,
Travis Hunter, Shaduer Sanders.
And I also think
the only way, in fact, I've made the argument
that Dallas, the only way to get out of this mess,
because Philadelphia is stacked, Detroit is stacked,
Green Bay is good, I mean, Rams are good,
they need another draft class, Kansas City Buffalo.
If you're talking about trophies, Dallas is a mile away.
Yeah.
And I have said, I'd give up Micah, three first round picks,
two, maybe three, to get a Shadour,
but I would also get Coach Prime
because I do think players would want to play for them.
We're watching high school kids who never saw him play.
Man. Of course, 28 and 29 year old NFL guys would be like, yet not a, I mean, 17 year olds want to play with him.
Why wouldn't a 27 year old want to play with him? Do you think the prime to the Cowboys is audacious or do you buy it?
I buy it. I think that would be the best landing spot for Coach Prime is for the Cowboys for a couple different reasons.
First of all, I don't know if you guys ever went to a Colorado game lately, but the place is booming, right?
And he's a big reason why that is. Before he got there, I'm going to take you even back before that. Jackson State, they weren't a one.
winning program. He came there immediately. Immediately in one. Last year with Buffalo,
or with the Colorado Buffaloes, he said, get me now. This is the worst we'll ever be.
He had to get his coaches in there. Had to get some more players in there. And now look at
him. They're what, tie for first in the Big 12? Potentially he could be in the playoffs.
All he does is change everywhere he plays at. Really good coach. The one thing I think about
him is like a guy like Andy Reg will makes him so special. Everybody's going to tell you
about the X's and O's, which he is the best at that.
But he can relate to these players.
He makes everybody, I don't care what your background is, what your race is, whatever you believe in.
He makes everybody love being part of the team as a family.
And he can adjust.
He's been in so many different areas of football, but he can adjust.
That's who, that's who Down Sanders is.
Dionne's the type of player or coaches that any player could come to him by any different thing.
Right?
We talk about the Cowboys, maybe not going out there and getting different free agencies or not getting this player and getting that player.
You know what I mean players would die to play for Coach Prime?
And so many players right now
trying to emulate him as
a player, right?
It's Dion Sanders here.
So I think
Cowboys need that excitement
and they need somebody that they can
you know, like respect and listen to.
Not the same thing about Mike McCarthy, but I think
the message comes from Dion Sanders, everybody's
going to be in tune in that. And the biggest part
is Jerry Jones, the excuse
that everybody has as well, Jerry won't let
you know, the coaches coach the way they want to.
You think Jerry going to tell Dionne Sanders
how to coach his team?
No, he's not.
He played for him so he knows what type of guy he is, right?
And you see his resume.
All he does is win.
I think every player in the NFL would love to play for the Cowboys
if Dion Sanders came to that team.
And then you bring his son on board,
who's been a baller ever since high school, college.
Yeah.
Now it's going to be a top prospect in the NFL draft.
Yeah, no, I buy into it.
I think, you know, it's funny.
When Dan Campbell came in, everybody's like,
he's too much of a player.
It's like, no, it works.
And Mike Vrabel, well, he's a player, and it works.
And Mike Tomlin feels like he played five years.
ago and it works. And I think
as players are more empowered
and the NFL gets younger,
I'm not saying old guys can't work.
I mean, Pete Carroll to the end was good,
Belichick was good, Andy Reid's great,
Sean Peyton's older, very good. I'm not saying you can't do it that way.
But I'm willing to take some risks now on
former players like Dan Campbell
and Dion. I'm willing to do that because
I think there is something about
in the NFL the margins, if you have a good
quarterback you're going to win if you don't you're going to lose.
Of course.
So when you play these teams
that have a good quarterback and you have a good quarterback,
the margins are tiny.
Yeah. And a lot of times it's just
getting guys in an extended
season to play hard. The margins,
if you both have good quarterbacks.
The games come down to a play a fumble
a fourth down. Yeah. And Dion
is inspiring people. Dan Campbell
isn't a wizard with X's and O's?
They inspires people. Oh, they run through a
wall for him. And I think Dion brings
that type of atmosphere.
to the Cowboys, right?
Let's look what he's doing
in the other in Colorado.
They won one game before he got there.
I've been to a Colorado
and everybody wants to go
and that's the thing of being
like a great leader.
I remember Sean McDermott
coming to Buffalo and I didn't know
with respect because I had him in Philadelphia
he was a little more quiet
and he changed the culture, right?
Everybody was bawled in.
I'm talking about not just the players
I'm talking about the janitors.
I'm talking about the lunch ladies.
When you could change
the whole, I guess,
team and franchise, right?
That's what winners do.
Kansas City Chiefs,
Right? Before any where he got there, they weren't good.
He changed the whole franchise, right?
And that's when you need certain leaders like that, no matter what I believe in this guy.
And that's who Dionne centers is.
Everybody believes in him.
It's amazing.
Josh Allen's one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history, just in terms of size.
And Buffalo is one of the smallest towns.
When you were there briefly playing with Josh Allen, he is such a big star.
What?
I wonder what it's like to, and they just beat the Chiefs, what it's like to be Josh Allen.
Brett Farvin Green Bay
Josh Allen and Buffalo
Some type of towns, yeah
Does the town protect him?
Man
I had so I had Josh
He was a rookie
So I've seen the beginning of Josh
Right
So happy, big kid
Right
Super competitive
And I remember like
My first camp
Like yo
This dude might not know a lot
About X's and O's
because he's a rookie
But man
He's gonna be box office
He had that type of talent
And as you see him
Getting better with better coaching
When Brian Debel had him
I mean he was phenomenal
And he's a good guy
Oh, he's a great dude.
The best thing about Josh,
people don't know,
because we could talk about him running over
linebackers or throwing deep touchdowns.
He's a competitor.
And it's like, hey, man,
I don't care who's playing this game with me.
I'm going to find a way to win.
He hates to lose, right?
It could be...
Which is a great quality.
All the best have that.
Patrick Mahomes, when I got with him,
I'm like, oh, this dude is a crazy competitor.
Tom Brady.
I was with him at 40 years old.
He's still bitter he got drafted in the sixth round.
He said him said.
Mahomes is still bitter.
He wasn't the number one pick.
We played Chicago one game.
him obviously and he kept doing like the number counts I'm like what are you how
you doing you know I'm nosy I say Pat what's going on it was the draft picks they
took Trebisky but that's that's how the greets are wired so he kept making sure
the bears knew yeah remember so all I'm saying is like dude's like that's who
Josh is when I got the Buffalo it was weird because like when I moved into a
nice little house whatever and I had so many neighbors bringing me like you know
welcome to Buffalo gifts so I can only imagine Josh Allen right now today he's
probably he should go for mayor
All right.
Coffee every day.
Tim Hortons, that's the big coffee up there.
Every morning is probably getting that up there.
They're good people.
But he deserves it, though.
Good people.
I'll tell you what, if you've never been to Buffalo, you need to go, man,
because you would see, like, a community.
They really love their team.
My wife used to have to go to several cities in the country,
Northern Cities, HR.
She said, Buffalo has the most honest, nicest people in the country.
For sure.
I'll talk about what it was snow so bad.
before I even go outside,
they were already shoveling the snow.
I'm like, these people, God
make these people special. You know what I'm saying?
So, Buffalo's nice.
First of all, people, there was, I saw a survey years ago.
I thought this was so funny.
And the survey was
what city in the country of size?
Okay.
Are people proudest to live in?
And you'd think, oh, beach in Florida.
Yeah.
Buffalo number one.
Yeah.
People.
I can see Buffalo and probably Pittsburgh.
You know why?
Because to live in Buffalo, you choose
to live in Buffalo. It's not because it's a big corporate
hub. Your friends are there.
Your buddies are there. You went to
high school there. You're proud of your team.
That's why in the big picture,
the best Super Bowl this year, honestly,
is Buffalo against Detroit.
It's tied.
They go into overtime.
Buffalo wins, and then next year
they meet again, and Detroit wins.
Because if they're two
franchises, you're like, could you give them a break?
Football gods. Buffalo's
won, Detroit's two.
I would be nice though, right?
I just want the Chiefs to get it,
and I'm an eagle guy, obviously.
Yeah, but you don't, you can't be greedy.
The only thing about the Chiefs is,
you're shady, not greedy.
You can't be greedy.
Three Pete?
That does that?
I just feel so good,
and Eddie Redesers it.
Best coach of all time.
You were money today.
You delivered.
Can we show the snow video again?
It's like running on a down comforter.
I love this setup, though, by the way.
I always tell you this.
It's like my therapy.
You know, I can relax.
I'm your therapist.
Come on now.
How was your childhood?
Look at this.
Jay, you like my Eagles, what's going on?
It's like we show eagle clips, so you don't even want to look at it, man.
You know what's funny, though, you do make a good point.
Nobody's, the defensive guys aren't going fast enough to hurt you.
They're not moving, no.
It's just, it's just.
And we had a Dominic Sue right here, so I remember he slammed me so hard into the ground.
I'm like, and as he's picking me up, I'm thinking of my head, like, oh, my God's going to hurt.
And as I'm going down, boom, I'm like, that was nothing.
And it was so much snow, so none of the hits even hurt.
Falling on Pittsburgh.
Good to see you, buddy.
Oh, great, great seeing you guys.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called,
Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, a wide range of podcasts throughout there.
but this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say,
Hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad
Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel.
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

What's up, fam, it's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nash would get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

From navigating friendships and healing to setting boundaries and prioritizing your mental health.
These are real honest conversations.
We don't always get to have out loud.
Totally unreasonable with different parts of life, right?
Like, oh, we'll have all three meals and make sure you're mindful during all of them?
Absolutely not.
During one meal, I'm standing.
I'm standing and handing my children food.
Because healing, empowerment, and resilience aren't just ideas.

I don't think I could be in the same room with Shamrock the parrot.
I'd be too nervous.
That's right.
The very funny Will Ferrell joins Rory Scovel and me, Josh Dean,
for an episode dedicated to the many crimes committed by people also named Will Ferrell.
They called to his fellow officer for the nippers.
What are the nippers?
Very good question.
No, I was thinking, would that be a good name for like a salad dressing?
Simple assault.
And it's a play on word, salt?
Maybe not.
I say we invest and we see.
There's only one way to know.
This did not amuse the cops.
By the way, normally the cops are amused, but this did not abuse the cops.
Will even comes clean about some of his own crimes.
I didn't get caught. You know why?

By the way, that Lane Kiffin's stuff, we talk.
We talked about yesterday.
So everybody is talking about,
everyone is talking about Dion Sanders to the Cowboys.
But I just want to remind you,
Lane Kiffin has been a head coach.
Okay.
Pete Carroll's first couple of jobs in the NFL didn't work.
He went to college, went back to the NFL,
got the right quarterback,
and got to two Super Bowls.
Be careful about making a sweeping judgment.
If you look at most NFL coaches that get a second shot,
they often do better.
Rahim Morris looks like he's got his legs under him now.
I'm going to tell you, Lane Kiffin, dad was an NFL coach, he's been an NFL head coach.
You know what happened to him in Oakland?
Al Davis demanded he date Jamarcus Russell.
He pled.
He pled with Al Davis.
Do not draft Jamarcus Russell.
He didn't want to do it.
He got stuck with it, you know, just like the owners, sort of like Daniel Jones.
Brian Daybull gets stuck with it.
But Lane Kiffin's an offensive coach.
Second time around.
His dad was in the league.
He knows the culture.
I asked Lane yesterday about, because I think he'll be after prime time if he goes to Dallas,
I think Lane Kiffin is the number one offensive coach available.
Also, Jackson Dard is quarterback senior.
This team has got a last dance feel to it, right?
Like it's a lot of guys going to the NFL.
If you're going to break clean of Ole Miss, after this season, now is the time.
And I asked Lane about a move potentially to the NFL.
The way to build college teams now has become like the NFL from evaluation,
obviously paying players, putting together your roster,
but you still have the really neat college elements of the fans and the passion.
The thing that I don't like about the Novell, when you win, you kind of get punished,
you draft last.
When you win more in college, you're able to go get better players because now they see,
man, I can go there and win championships.
I can go there and meet Georgia.
So we've spent a lot of time to get it up to this place.
That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Okay, but I'll say this.
The Raiders, when Lane was there,
were easily the most dysfunctional team in the league with old Al Davis.
He didn't want to Marcus Russell.
That wasn't his vision.
So he goes to college, USC, which has been dysfunctional for years and years at the time.
Athletic Department, football program, a little wonky, didn't have their feet under it, didn't work.
And he was very, very young, but then he redeemed himself at a small college,
Ole Miss.
A guy can coach.
He's an offensive coach.
He has a vision.
Caleb Williams-Lane Kiffin.
I'm just telling you, Caleb Williams-Lane Kiffin, you can do worse.
You think I'm nuts.
I mean, Belichick looked tone-deaf to offense last time he coached.
Okay?
Like these old guys with all the trophies, be careful.
Be careful.
Lane wouldn't want personnel decisions.
Lane wouldn't be a disruptor in the front office.
come in, identity, plan, go.
J. Mack with the news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd mind news.
And he gets the NFL because his dad was a legendary assistant
defensive coordinator, so his dad knows the league.
He was around NFL practice as a kid, and he was a head coach.
He just had the most dysfunctional franchise in the league when he was there.
Yeah, I'm trying to think of what blueprint he's followed,
because he was so young, right, going to the NFL?
He was like a cocky Sean McVe.
this offensive wizard, somebody rolled the dice on, very, very confident,
you know, lacks some self-awareness early in his career.
As we all do.
Yeah.
But I think right now you can't deny what he has done at Ole Miss.
I mean, they're the only team in the country, top five offense and defense.
Ole Miss.
Yeah, very good program.
All right, let's get to the NFL and talk about this Dallas-Washington game.
So the rivalry got a little more familiar after the commanders hired Dan Quinn this past off season
to be their head coach before the season.
season, Quinn was the only defensive coordinator Micah Parsons had played under.
Parsons says Quinn's been hitting him up.
More frequently, recently, maybe trying to get in my head a little bit.
You know what I said?
He's always about his guys and that's my guy.
So, you know, it's going to be fun playing against him.
I know he's going to have him rallied up.
He's probably going to say it's sharp week.
It's fight night.
We got to go to round 12.
We got to knock him out.
Robbery game.
I know his old still.
Cooper Rush, starting for the Cowboys.
Dan Quinn saw him in practice for many years there in down.
Dallas. There's a big spread.
This was
the, there was a lot
of games I liked this week. I think
Broncos, Raiders, keep your eye on
Denver in that game. Commanders, keep
your eye on that game. This is a very,
very rare year. Double-digit
favorites are winning. I think they're
5-0 against the spread, yeah. Yeah, that's
unheard of. You have to go back to like the 60s.
The problem with me
fully unloading, like the kids' 401k
fund is this is a divisional matchup.
You've got to be careful with those. The familiar
We saw it last night.
Yeah.
And by the way, it's these divisional matchups, like, I think Miami's better than New England.
But these games really matter.
And New England tends to stay close.
And New England's getting better.
So it's like, I think Miami's better than New England, but the hook, seven and a half?
Not doing it.
Last night, the bet was, we didn't talk about it, but the bet was Cleveland last night.
Yeah.
I mean, Tomlin was terrible on Thursday.
They're not a great favorite.
They're a better underdog.
They just come off the Baltimore game.
Last night was your classic, take the dog.
Yeah, and they dominated most of that game.
Next up is Anthony Richardson.
Boy, what a great week last week against the Jets game-winning touchdown drive,
and he had been benched like less than a month ago.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell says he sees something different in the wake.
The Colts are handling Richardson after that Jets game.
I think what you saw was last week really at his best.
I'm not even sure you can go back to early in the year,
because I feel like they've taken the handcuffs off of him
and allowed him to just go.
And I think it's, you know, there's a lot of things to where, you know,
you've got to be careful, that's your guy.
You run him too much, he gets hit, he gets injured, he gets,
and I think now it's, you know, all bets are off,
and we've got to get first downs, we've got to score touchdowns,
and you've got to lead us to it.
Yeah, I think he's right.
When I watched him last week, it was like,
they're just letting him do what he's got to do.
In fact, I would argue last week,
I didn't think the Colts ran the ball enough with him.
I thought Shane was a little protective of him.
I thought he threw a great ball.
I thought he, listen, and ideally he would have sat as first year.
He wouldn't have played.
He only played 13 college games, but they had to play him.
And so you rolled the dice on this stuff.
But I'm telling you, last week watching him, you saw it all.
You saw the movement, the size, the arm.
He was looking to second receivers.
I was like, okay, sometimes you got to sit for a couple weeks.
How much of that was the Jets defense looking like they're
quit because since Sala left, we know that last year, Sala was coaching him up down the stretch
with Zach Wilson.
That defense never quit.
But Detroit's past defense can be susceptible.
Also true.
I think we're going to be talking about this game in headlines.
This is my favorite game of the week to bet.
Second favorite.
Philadelphia, Philadelphia, I like.
I like Philadelphia.
Because you're big on the quarterbacks.
And, you know, Jared Gough and Anthony Richardson is a, it's not quite Patrick Mahomes versus
Bryce Young, but it's in the stratis.
All right.
It's a big mismatch.
And the final story, Colin, is Thanksgiving dinner might be a little interesting around the Harbaugh house.
Brothers John and Jim will coach against each other on Monday.
Can't wait for this game.
Harbowls should be good.
Big Brother John is 2-0 against Little Brother, Jim, all time.
And one of those was in Super Bowl 47.
But Jim said the game is not all about the coaches.
Sure, he doesn't want to make it about him.
I don't want to make it about me.
I mean, it is what it is.
You know, two big game, for sure.
And, you know, two teams having had it.
That was tough.
It was tough.
But after some time and reflection went by, you know, it's my brother.
It's my best friend.
Really proud of him.
Really happy for his success.
I mean, it was earned.
I don't think, my take, is Harbaugh really doesn't like playing his brother.
I don't think he does.
I think it's a very close.
What's Harbaugh?
I don't think either likes to play their brother.
Well, yeah.
This was a game.
I came very close to taking the Chargers in this game.
I came very close to this game, but I just thought Baltimore, Lamar, they came off.
Give me a good quarterback and a good coach.
They don't lose two in a row very often.
I mean, it's why I like San Francisco this weekend.
They're very good off a loss.
McVeys generally good off a loss.
So it's like I just don't like betting against Baltimore off a loss.
And the Chargers have been playing.
they've gotten the things rolling.
They're playing well.
Do they take the foot off the gas just a little?
Let me ask you.
Where did J.K. Dobbins play?
Ohio State.
No, no, after Ohio State.
Who drafted?
Was it Baltimore?
Yeah, it was.
What about Gus the Bus Edwards in that Chargers backfield?
Where do you play last?
Baltimore.
Yeah.
Who's the offensive coordinator of the Chargers?
Greg Roman.
Where was he last?
Baltimore.
Yeah.
It's almost as if they know the game.
You don't think Greg Roman's out for?
for revenge here?
He's going to be dialing up some good stuff.
Now, I'm going to watch Ladd McConkey.
He missed practice yesterday, but they got Monday night football, so maybe it's just a rest day
because he got dinged up in the Bengals game.
But there is a lot of familiarity with this Chargers team.
I think Ed's Charger.
I like the Chargers in this one.
I'm still thinking about going to it.
You want to?
I'll be there with some buddies.
No, I'm going to go sit in a suite.
I got a podcast.
Coastal Elite, up in the suite, getting free food.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
No, I got to do a podcast after it.
Oh, no.
We've got to stay up late and do a podcast.
I mean, listen to this, Ryan.
I'm sorry for being salty.
We lost the championship game last night.
I'm in a really foul mood.
It was devastating.
You came in this morning.
I know. I'm angry.
I'm sad.
It was the most depressing loss I've ever suffered as an athlete.
I'd laugh as an athlete.
Last night was it.
We led the entire way, Colin.
Well, so, so did the Steelers.
Yeah, so the Steelers.
This was a championship, not Thursday night football.
Yes, you're right.
That was just a professional football game.
This had meaning culturally.

Sunday it's a huge NFL doubleheader on Fox.
First, the Cowboys take on the commanders or other regional action.
Then in America's game of the week, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey
lead the Niners against Jordan Love and the Packers or Cardinal Seahawks.
Check for the games in your area.
By the way, Niners, Packers, Cardinals, Seahawks, good late window.
Those are good games.
Very good games.
I like teams that have an identity and that team is Arizona.
Seattle's talented.
Don't know what they are.
They know what they are.
I like Arizona in that game.
Okay.
Jacina Anderson is saying, for those asking, I'm told the Cowboys are not currently pursuing quarterback
Daniel Jones.
Daniel Jones going to be released by the New York Giants.
He was a reach at six.
Day Bowl showing his coaching acumen got him to the playoffs and a playoff win.
He will now be one of the better backups in the NFL.
He could be a spot starter.
I would look at a team like an old quarterback like the L.A. Rams.
They brought Baker in, remember, behind Matt Staff?
I could see the Rams bringing him in.
Stetson Bennett hasn't worked out.
Garoppolo, they don't really want to play him.
So I could see the Rams saying, hey, we'll take him.
There's something there.
I think Daniel Jones would be an elite backup quarterback in this league.
Like elite, top two or three backup quarterback.
Big, strong, works hard, good kid.
But I think New York was a tough market.
It should also be noted, letting go a Sequin Barclay, a killer.
His offensive line, never great.
Didn't have an elite receiver until Malik neighbor.
so I can make the argument that Daniel Jones is undervalued
because the only thing he really had there was eventually a left tackle
who got hurt a lot and an offensive coach.
They let go of Sey Juan Barclay.
The rest of the O line was a mess.
They never had a number one receiver.
So he didn't have a lot to work with there.
Now, I don't think he's Jaden, Daniels, or Bo Nix.
But I would say his size, his athletic ability.
Also, you know he's going to work his butt off
because he's humiliated by what happened in New York.
I think Daniel Jones was a guy
would have no problem bringing on the roster
and being a great backup. And if he's got
to start three games a year, could he win two?
With McVeigh?
You know, with Pooka Nukuoka and Cooper
Cup and Kieran Williams? Absolutely.
So that was Baker-Mayfield.
Remember Baker-Mayfield, went to the Rams, had about
two practices, maybe one or two practices,
came in and played. So I think Daniel
Jones, as a backup, is excellent.
But I don't want to build my franchise around
him. Everybody's got different roles.
The NFL schedule this weekend
is interesting. I like underdogs. The reason I like
It. This is one of those weekends where if you lose, you're in big trouble.
So I've said this before, San Francisco at Green Bay.
If San Francisco loses and goes five and six seasons over, because then Green Bay will be eight and three, Minnesota's nine and two.
Detroit's going to win that division.
You're done.
NFC. Norr is going to have three playoff teams.
So that is this season, if Brock Purdy is healthy, Kittles coming back, San Francisco is going to empty the tank at a turnover prone.
Jordan Love Green Bay Packer offense.
I think Green Bay is better, but this weekend, we saw it last night.
Pittsburgh's better than Cleveland, not last night.
So I think this is a weekend where the Niners completely empty the tank.
They get an incredible effort, and that's the kind of weekend it is.
I think, you know, I think Atlanta at Seattle, they're not, excuse me, Arizona at Seattle.
I think Arizona looks at themselves and thought, okay, we beat San Francisco and Santa Clara.
this is a franchise defining game.
If Arizona goes up to Seattle on Fox,
and everybody's doubting Arizona, be honest,
I like him, but a lot of people have been,
it'll end, it won't last forever,
but they went to Miami and beat the Dolphins,
and Tua was back.
And then they go to San Francisco before that,
and they beat the Niners.
If they go up in, you know,
Seattle Cold Weather is a dome team and beat Seattle,
we all got to now respect Arizona.
This is a big, big game for,
Kyler Murray in this franchise.
The other game that has got me very interested,
if Bo Nix and the Broncos, J-Mack,
and their favor beat the Raiders,
they will have been successive weekends,
outplayed Mahomes in Kansas City,
hammered a team that's going to win the NFC, South Atlanta,
and beaten a division rival on the road.
Everybody, this weekend,
for the Denver Broncos and the Arizona Cardinals.
It is a, hey everybody, we are for real weekend.
Can I look at the AFC playoff picture right now, Jay Mack?
Well, the pushback would be, you know,
did you see that Atlanta injury report ahead of the Denver game?
They were beat up, and Bo Nix had his way with them.
And now look at the Raiders.
Both their starting running backs look like they're trending toward not playing this weekend.
Three defensive backs may not play.
Everything's lining up for the Broncos.
I don't want to go overboard.
Okay, if they win, they're seven and five.
You know who they're in the hunt with?
A bunch of four-win teams.
I don't care who's running backs are healthy.
If Denver wins this weekend, and Arizona wins.
Denver's favored by, I think, six.
Six.
It was my last game I didn't pick.
You know, rival underdog on the road.
I stayed away.
Yeah, that's fair.
Denver wins at seven and five.
Look at these teams in the hunt.
And the Colts have a tough game against their big underdogs against the lions.
The dolphins are underdogs against the,
I'm sorry, favored against the Patriots.
Stolfin should roll there.
Bengals on a buy, but the Bengals, I would just say,
are those in the hunt?
The Bengals, for sure.
When are you going to sell that Bengal stock?
When they fire the coach?
They're not firing the coach.
Okay, well, I guess I'm clinging to that stock.
All I'm saying is, everybody's been saying, yeah,
whatever with Denver.
All bets are off if they beat the Raiders
after crushing Atlanta,
after out playing Mahomes in Kansas City.
All bets are off.
They're a playoff team.
they're a good team. And then the Broncos would have to go to Buffalo for a first-round matchup,
assuming that holds, and Buffalo would beat him the way they beat Mac Jones at one year,
47-10. Who cares? Okay, yeah.
Bo Nicks first year makes the playoffs. Yeah, Mac Jones made the playoffs, didn't he? First
year? You think it's the same guy? No, I don't. I'm just saying, like, let's not overreact.
You're part of that. You are overreacting big time these last two weeks. Do you need me to order
you some neurogum? I mean, is this another cigar week for you? Between going to Cosm last night,
is amazing, and I had three pieces of
Cosm gum last night to stay awake.
Ooh. To stay awake. And nachos and chicken wings.
I feel like a million dollars right now.
I'm the rock.
Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast. Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of
being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an acapella band
with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends
on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva,
and on my new podcast, How Hard Can It Be?
I call on my Gen X squad from Ohio to Hollywood
as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS.
Unfiltered conversations from night sweats to futas
to scheduling sacks.
Wait, what sex?
Is it just,
or does every woman my age want to look at Pinterest instead of having sex sometimes?
They say we can't polish a turn, but we're sure going to try.
So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter.
Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Gianna Maria Riva on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season.
And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was funny.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis come in to you, he's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love.
This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Most people out here think that taking care of one another is important.
And most people would step up for a neighbor going through a tough time.
Most people around here help out friends and family when they need it.
But the funny thing is, most of us won't look for help when we need it.
Talk to someone if you're struggling with mental health.
Because most people out here really care.
