I will not stand for this New York slander. I'm not slander. Where am I wrong? You don't need to say, you don't need to go there. I mean, I'm sure like some of the hockey teams in New York, the Rangers are out.

Maybe they're winning stuff. We just don't know. WNBA team. There you go. Thank you, producer Ryan Music. I'm not taking a shot at anybody. I try to be positive. But like that Dodger Yankee series, it wasn't competitive.

Hold on. Okay. It wasn't competitive. You keep saying this, so I finally have to chime in. Game one. Yankees were in control of that for most of the game until the very end. Game five, they were up five nothing. before the collapse. So, like, they were competitive

in a few of the games. Oh, in game one and game five, they had quite an effort. And they won game four. How about this? Freddy Freeman launched home runs in the first inning multiple times. Freddie Freeman is awesome. Yeah, to say the least. He's clutch, the definition of clutch. You look up the dictionary clutch, Freddie Freeman. I read a story

the other day where we knew he had a bad leg. He also had like cartilage, rib cartilage, all ruptured, which I bizarrely had several years ago because of a ski accident. I don't know how the hell he swung a bat doing that. Did you quit skiing after that, by the way? Just curious. No, I didn't quit skiing, but I couldn't ski the remainder of that season.

Basketball safer than skiing, just FYI. Let me just tell you something. I stand on business. So when I get hurt, I still ski. But it is painful. I'm nursing a groin injury, so I haven't been playing hoops this week. We have a buy because we're the number one seed. I know you care deeply about this stuff. Yeah, yeah. Well, let's be fair now. Been a bad decade, but Aaron Rogers and the Jets snapped a five-game losing streak last night at home, beat the Texans. And although they weren't impressive throughout most of the game, it all started to click in the most important fourth quarter. If they end up kind of turning it around, one play is the catalyst,

the catch by Garrett Wilson, remarkable. That was a third and 19 in the fourth quarter. And they just were stop and start offensively all game. Backup kicker. You didn't trust them. They trailed 10-7. That catch and the Texans' inability to protect C.J. Stroud, who was sacked eight times, infused real life and energy into Aaron Rogers, the sideline, the crowd.

Before that catch, it kind of felt like they just couldn't keep any momentum going. Second half, I thought Aaron Rogers played well, but that was the play. A third and 19, fourth quarter trailing. Can't trust her kicker he's a backup. I mean, even on that drive, before that third and 19, great catch. they failed on a fourth and one. The Texans had a penalty and it bailed them out. So two and seven was staring this team right in the face.

Fans had bags on. I read this morning, apparently I couldn't hear this. They were chanting sell the team at MetLife Stadium. So nice win. Now, nothing changes about the core of the jets. Right? We don't love the owner. It's an interim coach.

They're on their second play caller. I mean, they had a touchdown nullified because some rookie wide receiver dropped the ball to one yard line. They had a couple really, really bad special teams penalties. I mean, nothing is really, really changed, right? At their core, they beat themselves. They make silly mistakes. But that catch, and Aaron Rogers in the second half,

where he had a passer rating of 147. It feels like something. And there is a route, there is a route to the playoffs. You get to play the Dolphins twice. okay. Again, you get a lot of teams like the Colts. You beat the Texans last night, the Jaguars. Teams you could be battling for a wild card spot in the AFC. You're not as good as Buffalo, Baltimore, Kansas City.

They're going to win their divisions. But you beat the Texans, they may be battling you for a wildcard team. You could beat the Colts at home. Jaguars, you have a chance here. All these teams that are going to end up in that eight and nine win territory, You got one done. You already lost to Denver, so you've got to win the rest of them. But even when the Jets win, and Aaron plays pretty well in the second half, you don't trust them.

Because they are a guidebook on how not to run a franchise despite the occasional brilliant catch or pass. I mean, this is their first win since September 19th. Think about that. The baseball playoffs hadn't started yet. That's the last time they won. I think Kamala Harris had just been nominated. a few weeks earlier, right? So it had been a long time, and it was a home game on a short week against the team

that's ravaged by injuries, the Texan. But you know what? It's the day after Halloween. So enjoy your Snickers and enjoy your Jets win. At least we know Snickers satisfies. Three and six doesn't feel very satisfying. But I will say this, Aaron had a lot of energy. There are some offensive weapons.

You're playing a lot of teams and just beat one that you'll probably be battling for an AFC wildcard spot. Here's Aaron after on Garrett Wilson's remarkable catch. That could be the catalyst for the season. I knew it was third and extra long. I was looking at the weak side safety and I was like, if he drops down at all, I'm just going to say, screw it. I'm going to throw it up to G. I felt like I put it in a decent spot.

But, yeah, I didn't do a whole lot. when it comes down to it. I just got a lob one up there. He made an unbelievable catch. Way to go, Jets. It was a great catch, had an OBJ feel, one leg down and the shin. I really believe there are moments in life for teams,

for people, for businesses, when you can look back and go, man, it just gave us energy. And if you watch the Jets sideline after that play, it was like, there's a little juice here. We'll see what transpires going forward. Okay. So I said this yesterday,

believe it. One of the more interesting games of the weekend, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals. I think it's really interesting because the Bears schedule, they get a couple of winnable games next, then they go into a brutal, brutal slog against all the teams in their division. So Caleb Williams, the quarterback for the Bears, young talented kid, his dad was messing around on X or Twitter last night. He has since deleted it, but at one point, he looked like he took a shot at the Bears coaching staff by complimenting the commander's coaching staff. Hashtag accountability. Hashtag real coach. So dads do the strangest things. He has since deleted it.

And I was just thinking about, you know, don't we kind of all know how the bear season's going to end? We do. They're going to win about seven or eight games. They're going to finish in fourth place in a great division. and then Matt Iber Fluse is not going to feel like the right coach. That's everything I predicted about seven weeks ago before the season started. Fourth place, Iber Fluse in trouble, and they're going to win about seven or eight games. It's turning out that way. Week to week, the NFL is kind of unpredictable, right?

It feels crazy, but it's really not in a macro level. In fact, my shocking playoff team, the commanders, even the surprises, aren't that great of a revelation. I mean, I said, I think commanders are going to surprise people. They're the surprise team in the league. They're not that surprising. There are three things, though, and this is why I feel strongly about my preseason prediction on the bears and why it's coming true. There are kind of three things that work against the bears. Number one is the commander staff is making their rookie quarterback, Jaden Daniels look so seamless, so excellent, so amazing.

you're being compared to that. And with Caleb Williams, it feels like it's like one step forward, one step back. Okay, let's refine the reads. Let's simplify the offense. It looks very bumpy and very, very turbulent. And in Washington, it just looks like great coaching, great kid, going in one direction. So that's working against you. The second thing that works against you, pretty predictable.

Packers, great quarterback, great offensive coach. Vikings, good quarterback. great offensive coach, lions, excellent quarterback. I mean, Dan Campbell's been an excellent coach so far. Offense, offense, offense, offense. Bears, what do you know? Defensive coach? And the offense is all over the map.

So again, you're going to be compared to the commanders. You're going to be compared to the quarterbacks and the coaching in your division. And the third thing working against Iber flus and why I think my prediction was, you know, pretty easy on the Bears is their history. Everybody in Chicago is like. How much time? Do we really trust the bears to elevate an excellent young talented quarterback? They've never had a 4,000 yard in one season, a 4,000 yard quarterback.

So there's no confidence the organization can get it done. And I would argue strongly they already screwed it up by interviewing Cliff Kingsbury, who was Caleb's coach in college at USC, and they let him walk out of the building without a contract. He wanted reportedly, I was told he wanted to work with Caleb Williams, and they passed on him. And look at what a great job Kingsbury's doing with Jaden Daniels, who he's never worked with before. But it's crushing it. So Caleb's dad inflaming things, and don't kid yourself, people are talking about that. You know, parents know when their kids are unhappy.

Caleb's dad inflaming things is only about number 38 on the list of things I worry about. and all things stated, it should be also duly noted that Bears players this week went out and criticized publicly the Bears staff. So I don't think the dead going hashtag accountability, hashtag real coach is something I love. But I do think that Matt Eberfluse will get one year to work with Caleb Williams. And last week, that second half, meltdown, did not play to his favor. Danny Parkins on our morning show here, Breakfast Ball, former Chicago radio host, talks about Iber Fluse. The thing with Matt

Eber Fluse that drives me insane is don't you know what on my shoes and tell me it's raining. Like he was like, I don't think we needed a timeout before the Hail Mary because everyone was in position. Tyreek Stevenson's back was to the ball. Like everyone wasn't in position. Matt Eberfluse kind of chose the route of denial instead of accountability, and that's the thing, honestly, more than the failed execution that bothered me most. All right, Albert Breyer, we got trade deadline stuff, injury stuff to talk about if you play fantasy football, uh, Puka Nakuwa's injury. Is there another coach on a hotter seat than you realize?

By the way, this just came down. Penn State quarterback Drew Aller is expected to play Saturday against Ohio State. Multiple sources say tell on three sports.

So that's a big deal. I didn't think it was a winnable game with a backup quarterback. It is a winnable game for Penn State. He was injured against Wisconsin. Good college quarterback. I think I like Will Howard better, but he's a good college quarterback. But you're not going to beat Ohio State, even though they have their own issues. You're not going to beat them with a backup quarterback.

The other thing that is an advantage for Ohio State, the game's at noon. You don't want to play those night games in Baton Rouge or any of these big college towns. Everybody's lubricated. Half of these college kids at Penn State are getting out of bed and walking to the stadium. They won't be awake until the third quarter. So that's a break. But I will say Drew Aller, if I was a Buckeye fan, I would rather have not. not faced him, he's going to play.

And we bring a Buckeye graduate Albert Breer on the program. Okay. I mean, I want to ask you, because you get very emotional with this stuff. I like Ohio State to win this game. I think it's low-scoring and close. But as somebody who's a diehard Buckeye fan, I think the program feels like whack-a-mole. Every time they solve something, there's something else they don't like.

Is that fair? Well, first of all, back in my day, noon kickoff was no excuse for a college kid not to be lubed up and ready to go for kickoff. So let's just get that. Let's just get that on the table first. Yeah, it does feel that way. You know, I mean, I think as we talked about off the air there, the school of Orlando Pace that's sitting right there in the Midwest, same area of the country where Michigan and Notre Dame are, it's kind of tough to swallow when you've got that issue up front on the offensive line. Now, it does seem like Will Howard's played better the last couple of weeks. The skill talent is undeniable.

You know, and then it's like getting the most out of a defense that has NFL talent at every level. So the potential, Colin, is way up here, but we haven't seen it way up here yet. Yeah. Maybe Saturday is the day that it comes together. You've seen spurts. Like I think the last two games, Nebraska, in Oregon, there was a real opportunity in the second quarter, both those games for the Bucks to step on the accelerator and run away with it. They weren't able to do it so maybe this is the week. By the way, from now on, we're talking Buckeyes and NFL with you because you know it as well as

anybody. Okay, so listen, the Ravens made a move, Jets made a move, Chiefs made a move, Bill's made a move, I'm surprised Houston doesn't look at their offensive line and make a move at the trade deadline. I'm surprised. I mean, the

Colts made a move. It's in-house, but they're going to move. I'll get to that in a second. But is there a team, if I was an AFC contender, I'd look around and go everybody all the good team's making a move anybody else you think makes a move before the trade deadline yeah houston is an interesting one because you look at their offensive line and it's not for lack of investment um their tackle positions for the most part have been fine with laramie tonsill and titus howard on the interior that's where the issue has been it really showed up last night

it's shown up in spurts over the course of the entire season it's why cj's play hasn't been quite what it was um you know the as it was his rookie year and if you look at those guys guys. I mean, Juice Scruggs was, you know, relatively high draft pick who played well as a rookie. Kenyon Green's a former first round pick and Shaq Mason's a guy. It was been in the league for a long time and started Super Bowls, you know. So it's not for lack of investment on the interior. And I think the issue you have, you know, if you're Houston now and you want to go find help is that generally the teams that have any semblance of offensive line depth, they're really good teams who aren't looking to move guys off the roster or help another. contender. So, you know, I think Nick Casario and D'Amico Ryans would seriously look at the idea of going and getting a, get going and getting another piece for their offensive line to help, you know, CJ and they hope they get Nico Collins back here for week 10 against the lions and the rest of that group. It's just, you know, where are you going to find him in this climate? There just aren't enough good linemen to go around. Okay. You know, and then I think you hit on the teams there. The Ravens obviously add Deonté Johnson, the chiefs have done it and adding Josh Uche and DeAndre. Hopkins. The lions are the one that I have, I have my eye on, you know, because they are optimistic.

They could have Aidan Hutchinson back if they make it to the Super Bowl. But what do they do between now and then? This looks like a really complete football team that now has that one area where they could, you know, use another piece. And so are they able to, you know, go to, are they able to go to Cleveland and get Zerias Smith out of there? Can they go to Carolina, you know, and get Chedeby and Clowny? Preston Smith in Green Bay is another name. I assume the Packers wouldn't trade him in division to a team they're going to be fighting with the rest of the year. But I think Detroit would certainly be in the market for an edge rusher. So that would be the other team that I look at as one that could be the aggressor.

If I'm Brad Holmes, I'm picking up the phone and calling Cleveland about Miles Garrett and Vegas about Max Crosby. I don't think those things are likely. But I think they've got to turn over every rock when it comes to trying to fill that position. Did Jim Ursay make the call on Anthony Richardson, the very impulsive Colts owner to Shane Stuyken do it. Now, I don't think it's that impulsive because I actually think the roster is the best in their division. I think it's better than Houston. I really like the Colts roster.

I don't have a problem with the move. He started 13 games in college. Even with good weapons in Stuyken, he is regressing. It's not like Josh Allen, where you were seeing about every third or fourth game. Oh, he's a little better, a little more of fine. He's winning more. I mean, even Josh Allen's rookie year, first six games, he had a couple

touchdown passes. Last six games, he had six, seven, eight, something like that, but he was better. But there's some rumors out there's talk that Jim Ursay, who got Carson Went out of town on a year that he had 27 touchdown seven picks because he lost to the Jags in the final week. Did Ursay make this move or was it the GM, Chris Ballard or the coach? It was the coach. It was Shane Steichen. And I think as much as anything, it's about that roster and serving that roster. And you and I have talked about this in the past, Colin, in these sorts of situations. You know, your veteran players don't

care about your three-year plan. They don't care about who the quarterback is going to be for the franchise in five years. They care about the here and the now and being given the best chance to win in the here and the now, perform individually and ultimately get paid as a result of that. And so, you know, the gap between what Joe Flacco was bringing to the table and what Anthony Richardson was bringing to the table was so big for those guys that the choice was really taken out of Shane Steichen's hands. It's, I got to give the guys in this locker room a chance. You know, you're Michael Pittman's, your DeForest Buckner, you're Jonathan. and Taylor's, I got to give them the best chance.

There's no question that Joe Flacko gives us the best chance. Again, if this was close, you know, I think players would understand that. You know, players, players aren't idiots, you know, like if these two guys are, you know, on even playing or close to one another, you could definitely justify playing the younger guy and everybody would understand that. This wasn't close. And so that's what that's about. You know, I know a lot of people have made it about, like, tapping out and that's

the low-hanging fruit here. I don't think that had anything to do with it either. Doesn't help, of course. But, you know, I just talking to people, that organization, you know, when they talk about Anthony Richardson, good kid, but he's a little naive. Yeah. Comes from a small town, didn't play a lot in college. You know, I get the sense he just didn't know any better.

And they hope that he can learn from that. Maybe learn a few things sitting on the bench the rest of the year and watching Joe Flacco play. Okay, solid got run. I thought it was too early. I don't think the Jets defense has ever been as good since they fired him. I wouldn't have done it. It's impulsive. again, I thought he was the best coach in the room.

I look around the league right now, and I don't see anybody that's wobbling. I guess if Mike McCarthy got shelled this weekend in Atlanta, but Jerry doesn't have a history of doing that. Is there a bet out there if you looked at and thought, because I love Dayball, and once they lost Andrew Thomas at left tackle, that team can't move the ball. It's over. But I don't blame Dayball.

Marr's giving them a vote of confidence. is there one coach out there you look at and you just you hear things you wonder if they go in a two-game skid they could be in trouble no i don't know that there's another mid-season firing coming like that that's just not who the giants are you know um you know and i i don't know that what it would really what purpose it would serve i think they want to you know give brian dable and joe shane every chance and um you know i think the matters want to stick with them um i think they're being forthright when it comes to that john is in and saying that like the plan is to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have those guys back in 2025.

Like they cycled through, you know, three two-year coaches. That's not the Giants, you know, two years with Pat Schumer, two years with Ben McAdoe before that, and then two years with Joe Judge. You know, I think it's embarrassing for them to have gone through that, and that's not who they want to be ever. So I think the Giants will give Brian Deval at least the rest of this year and tend to give them at least next year too. And we'll see where that goes.

I think with the Cowboys, again, like, I just ask you what purpose it serves. You know, I know with a solid thing, like, when the problem the players had with it wasn't so much related to his record or anything like that. It was like, well, how does this help us? You know, the strength of the team is the defense. You're taking the architect of that defense out of the equation. You're spreading the coordinator of that defense thin by making him the head coach. And, oh, by the way, you're also undergoing some change. on offense. So I think like the problem that the players in New York had with it is like,

what does this actually do to help us win games now? And I don't know if there's another team out there where you look at them and say, yes, it would help if they fired their coach. It would help if they moved on. It would spark the team if they did that. You know, part of that's the reality of having so many teams that are close to are at 500. I believe there's only one team left. Look this up for me, Colin, but maybe it's two. I think it's two, right? The Panthers and the Titans are the only two teams left with one win. Everybody else has multiple wins.

And the Chiefs and the Lions are the only teams left without multiple losses. So you have the entire league kind of in that pack there. I don't know that there's anybody where you look at screaming like, yeah, they need to make a move. Yeah. Pooka Nuku are going to play this week? I think he's going to try. It doesn't sound like it's the most serious thing in the world. It's concerning, of course, because it's the same knee that he's.

hurt previously. But look, like going into, you know, that Thursday night game against the Vikings, they didn't intend to play him. And lo and behold, he wound up not only being out there, but playing a really big role for them. So, yeah, I'd expect Puka Nakua is going to push to play. He's not going to practice today. They're going to list him as questionable. But I would expect that they're going to, that he's going to do everything in his power to try to be able to play. And maybe they wind up having to protect and we'll see what happens on Sunday. Albert Brerer is going to be a restless, nice sleep. Drew Allers playing for the Penn State and any lions.

This guy lives and breathes, Ohio State football. You know what I said this earlier, circling back, because I think that game is as good as any college football. I mean, you knew on the schedule, you kind of knew Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State. There were like six games you knew were going to be great. And it's upon us. And I said, what drives Ohio State, I'm from the outside.

You're in the belly of the beast here. I'm not. But what drives you crazy is that Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, three years, Oregon, they're right there. And in every game, it's not like, I mean, we were talking about this earlier. The Yankees really didn't compete with the Dodgers. They beat the Dodgers in the Dodgers bullpen game. Even Garrett Cole couldn't get Ws.

So you can say, oh, it was a great series. Not really. The Dodgers had a better order. their bullpen was better. They were managed better. With Ohio State, I have always said it's the only Northern SEC program. There's a delusion and an intensity that not even Michigan or Notre Dame have. Do you blame Ryan Day for the seemingly incurable vagaries the program faces every year? Little ones, but there's something there.

Well, so I'm hopeful. Now, I think part of the curse for Ryan Day is how quickly his predecessors walk. not just that they won, but I mean, Jim Tressel won a national title in the year two. And that was coming off a pretty mediocre stretch of Ohio State football, like the most mediocre stretch of the last half century. Urban Meyer came in after all the NCAA stuff, went undefeated in his first year, won a national title in his third year. And Ryan Day was off to a really fast start. consecutive, undefeated regular seasons, its first two years, playoffs both years, Big Ten titles both years, beat Michigan one of those years.

Michigan decided not to play the other year and then made a national title game. And he hasn't broken through yet. And so where I'm hopeful about this, Colin, this is sort of the Kirby Smart trajectory, isn't it? Yeah, and I think they both recruit. Is that fair? Yeah, then there's three great recruiting powers in college football right now, four. Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, and Texas. So I think that's fair.

Yeah. Yeah. You know. Yeah. I mean, I just feel like it's like Kirby got there by continuing, they were knocking on the door, knocking on the door, knocking on the door. They finally broke through. And, you know, hopefully that's where we're at. And, you know, hopefully the effect of the last two games lead to the door getting kicked down and Happy Valley tomorrow.

Now, I don't think it's going to be a Texas, Georgia thing, where the road team goes in and crushes them. Drew Allen, Drew Alder's going to play the quarterback Penn State. Franklin, you know, James Franklin's a great recruiter, and they always have an NFL body or three in the defensive front. They're a little light at wide receiver. They're not a high-scoring offense. There's a way Penn State has to play to beat Ohio State. I think Ohio State could win a shootout. They almost did at Oregon. I think they can win low-scoring games. I think Ohio State's built to win a lot of different ways. And I think Penn State's built to beat Ohio State like one way. It's got to be really low scoring. It's got to be

like 2320. It is possible. But I can't wait to watch. J. Mack with the news. No, no, no, no. Turn on the news. This is the herd line news. All right, let's start with the Seattle Seahawks kind of reeling here. One and four in their last five. And pressure is. is kind of getting to Gino Smith. He was very upset at times during the Bills game last week. He addressed his behavior yesterday with the media. I'm really not a great loser. It sucks.

I hate it. I need to, overall, when I watch myself, hey, man, just continue to uplift the guys. And, you know, if I'm being honest, do a better job at, you know, times when we're down. Those are things that I'm constantly improving. I'm not going to sound perfect at it. I'm very emotional when it comes to win.

when it comes to doing the right thing. And so at times I let my emotion show, whether that's good or bad. I guess that's a personal opinion. Yeah, I mean, I think we don't know if Mike McDaniels the coach is the coach yet. I don't think Seattle, I think they're just stuck in the mud as a franchise because they just have limitations of quarterback. I think sometimes the story is better than the reality. And I think that Gino Smith story is a great story. The reality is, as the NFC, the last couple of years when Gino was in Seattle, the NFC was down, the NFC is not down anymore.

The Lions, the Packers, still the Niners, the commanders now. Like the Rams, I think this weekend will put it to the Seahawks. I just think, I said this about the Cowboys. The last two years, the NFC was there for the picking. And Seattle and Dallas, you know, they get out of playoffs, but they just, now the NFC is to me, the high middle down is better than the AFC. The top of the AFC is better, one, two, three. But like teams four through 10, I think the NFC is better than the AFC. And so that, the last two years, Dallas and Seattle, these have been the moments you can win playoff game and you're not going to do it now.

You're paying DAC too much to fortify the roster and Gino's got limitations. The Gino Smith quote to address, I'm not really a great loser. I'm sure you've heard this before. Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. So I like Gino Smith getting fired up, getting upset. He didn't play great. I was on Seattle last week. He's more.

He tripped over his linemen at the one-yard line. No, no, no. I mean, I watched him. Terrible interception to start the second half. At Detroit and at Atlanta, when Gino's comfortable, he spins the ball. But I think as a franchise, it feels like, okay, Seattle has been great twice in my life. Matt Hasselbeck in his prime, Russell Wilson, in his prime. And they were really exciting when they had Jim Zorn and Dave Craig in their prime.

So it's like Seattle's history is, and this is the history of the lead. If you get a B plus quarterbacker above and they're in their prime, Gino's closer to a B minus and he's out of his prime. So it's like, I feel like, let's just go get the quarterback. They should have done it. I told you this last year. They should have done it last year. And I like the GM John Snyder, but now you're stuck because it is a bad,

quarterback class. Draft a quarterback every year. Just take one. Or close to it. Yeah. You got to do that. Next up, Colin, we have, so the breaking news here is that Joelle Embed, who is yet to play for the Sixers yet, despite playing for Team USA this summer. He is upset with the media, with the fans. I don't love doing math early in the morning. But I tallied the Broncos one loss record of the opponents they've beaten 12 and 29. they're beating up on bottom feeders. That's been their story of success this year. They went from being double-digit favorites last week against the Panthers, double-digit favorites to almost double-digit underdogs now against the Ravens. I think that tells you that nobody really believes in this team yet. Sure, they've been good, but have you looked at who they're playing next week? Kind of a big divisional game, Sean Payton and Boo Knicks against Kansas City.

I doubt they'll overlook the Ravens is a big game, but I like Baltimore here in a big spot. Now, I will caution people. Lamar Jackson is a favorite of seven or more, two and 11 against a spread. Kind of a letdown spot. Oh, Broncos. Come on, these guys stayed. They just lost.

Tomorrow's headlines today. I like the commanders when they face the Giants on Fox. What say you? I don't know if you said this was your favorite pick of the week, but this is starting to become one of my favorites as I look into it. The headline will be Jaden the Ripper.

Daniels Slays G-Men. Colin, I forgot that they met earlier this season. Do you remember that game? I don't. It was Jayden Daniels' second start, and Washington did not punt the football. Not once. The Giants could not stop them. They went up and down the field, seven for seven on field goals.

However, they were 0 for 6 in the red zone. O for six on the red zone is kind of sort of like turnover luck. That stuff's going to flip. You get one or two touchdowns, and that's a walkaway victory for Washington in the opener. I'm just telling you, now this is the most public side, according to some sports books. Everybody loves Washington. They went on a Hail Mary, Jaden Daniels, but the great equalizer. I looked into Dan Quinn against Daniel Jones.

Now, Dan Quinn was in Dallas before this. He knows Daniel Jones well. In five meetings, Daniel Jones has topped 200 yards once against the Dan Quinn defense. He cannot do anything. Quinn mixes up coverages, toggles between zone and man, and Daniel Jones just doesn't read it quick enough. He's coming off a tough game against Pittsburgh, right? At the fumble and the pick.

I wonder if this gets away from him, scurrely, do we see Drew Locke before garbage time? I like Washington with you. Not a bad call. Tomorrow's headlines today. I know what side you like here, Chargers and the Browns. Yeah, increasingly becoming my favorite bet of the week. You know, you're a big Chargers guy, so I'm kind of getting on board.

The headline will be Browns Get Candy Stolen by Jim Harbu. Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers go to Cleveland. And I don't want to say they're going to run away with this because they can't really get separation. They're not a great offense. But Quentin Johnson back. Harbaugh just announced at practice. He's a go. And all signs are pointing toward the other receiver.

DJ Shark also returning. He's practiced this week. Colin, they're healthy. As healthy as they've been this season, offensively and defensively. You look at the Browns. How do they sustain success after beating the rival Ravens? Well, kind of bad news.

David and Joku doesn't know if he's going to go this week. He's off an ankle injury. He leads him in yards per game as a receiver. Dinsel Ward, he's back at practice today, but they don't know if he's going to go off a concussion. He's at like five or six in his career. Kind of dicey. All signs are.

pointing to, hey, Cleveland just took down Baltimore. They got to buy next week. James is a rah-rah guy. I like the Chargers here a lot. By the way, their run defense was Brandon Staley. Remember, he couldn't fix it for like three years. Jim Arbaugh has them a top seven run defensive unit in the league. Daniel Jeremiah is crediting Puna Ford, the big defensive tackle as one of the instrumental guys.

Brown Center, Pocitch, he's struggled this year with injuries. I like the Chargers. I would not be surprised if this was like, you look up, it's 20 to 3 in the third quarter. Chargers in control. Tomorrow's headlines today, Jags at the Eagles. Interesting. So are the Jags sellers? They got off Cam Robinson.

I'm seeing reports now that Brandon Shurf, who's injured, doesn't sound like he's going to go this week. We saw Houston lose their guard last night. The headline will be. No bones about it. Jags Doug Own Grave. I think it's over for Jacksonville. I don't like this team at all in this spot.

Travis E.T.N. Game time decision. He's kind of sort of been phased out at running back tanks Bigsby taken over. They got cluster injuries at receiver with Gabe Davis. Brian Thomas, the young guy, both banged up Christian Kirk out for the year. I know you don't want to hear it, but Siriani's Eagles, the schedule lines up. We're starting to see Jalen Hertz reduce the turnovers. I like the Eagles here convincingly.

I don't feel good about Doug Peterson and Jacksonville. Tomorrow's headlines today. Lions at the Packers on Fox. This is a beauty. Love it. I like this game a lot, but it's just, it's difficult because it's the game of the week, right? And you don't always want to get involved in that. The lines are sharp.

The headline will be silence from the Lambeau. Lions roar neutralized. I know that's your favorite movie. So we had to get that in there. I'm just curious. How concerned are you that the lions now are going outdoors for the first time this season? I think it's something. And I think golf isn't 100%.

I think it's something. It just feels like the Packers in this spot, whether it's Jordan Love or the backup quarterback, like is Detroit off balance a little bit? And I just want to remind people, Detroit's defense got shredded early by the Titans. Once it was out of hand, they couldn't come back. But this Lions defense is not as great as we make it out. You can ball control them a little. You can run on them a little bit.

Yeah. And I just wonder, Josh Jacobs, buck 50 on the ground, Christian Watson back, Dobbs. I like the Packers shirt to win outright. Finally, tomorrow's headlines today. Tomorrow's the big of Ohio State number four at Penn State number three, baby. We talked about this a little yesterday. James Franklin in Big Games leaves a little something to be desired. The headline from Happy Valley will be Judgment Day.

Franklin begs boosters for forgiveness. Much maligned Ryan Day. I think it's overblown. You're a little closer to the story. But I like Ohio State a lot, man. This team is so complete. I think that Oregon game kind of was a wake-up call. But I also think Oregon's great.

Oregon's really, really good and virtually unbeatable at Austin Stadium. And remember, Penn State was getting dominated by your Trojans. They needed a big comeback. And now here we are a few weeks later. Is USC even that good? So I like Ohio State here by 10 or more to win in Abbey Valley. Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, there are certain college teams, Georgia, Texas, Bama, not as much to be in this year,

but I would say Georgia, Texas, Ohio State that look the part. I think Bam and Oregon are close, but I think Ohio State, and I also think to win a national championship, Nick Saven was good about this. He sort of took the program from a defensive program to a wide receiver quarterback program.

Ohio State can get outplayed and because they're so electric on the perimeter win games. I think Oregon's got that. I think Texas has that. Ohio State doesn't have to play perfect. Penn State, I don't think, can score enough. Can't match up with them on the perimeter. I like the Buckeyes by about a touchdown.
