This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer,
Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band
with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast.
Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith rule.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Cliver Show.
This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard,
but celebrated.
So let's get to it.

UCLA is going to be really good this year.
That's my pick to win at all.
By the way, a couple of Cleveland Browns have tested positive for COVID,
but because they're vaccinated, they will be able to potentially play Sunday.
because if they get two positive tests, they can play.
Nick Chubb and Demetrick Felton.
So they can, you know, so again, when you're vaccinated,
you don't put the team in harm's way because all you need is two tests by like Saturday
or Saturday night and you play.
So the Browns will be fine.
Those guys, if they pass the test, will be fine and allowed to play.
The league sets up protocols.
That's why, especially when you're a quarterback and they don't carry six on the roster,
to get vaccinated and you fail.
There's obviously breakthrough cases with the flu shot.
There's breakthrough cases with COVID.
By the way, people can wear seatbelts and still get injured in car crashes.
It doesn't mean you shouldn't wear seatbelts.
So the league sets up protocols.
So the Browns now have a little flurry, but they're vaccinated players.
So they should be able to all test and be back for Sunday against the Patriots,
which, by the way, is a big game.
So that's not a game.
Just think of you weren't unvaccinated and you were Nick Chubb.
You're out.
So I don't get Nick Chubb against the Patriots and Baltimore's rolling and Pittsburgh's now winning.
That's the way you get vaccinated.
If you didn't have Nick Chubb, I would be worried because this game at New England, that's a one-two-point game.
Peter Schrager, check out his weekly cheat sheet on Fox Sports's app.
Pop Culture, Football Sourcing.
It's Shraggs.
You know, it's great.
You know, it's interesting.
Some things don't make sense, and they're hard to explain.
And Cliff Kingsbury is now a much better NFL coach than college coach.
I'm not going to try to explain it.
But I got to tell you, Shraggs, I think we talked about this yesterday.
His first year, he would have a great half, but he couldn't put it all together.
And then last year, it was more complete.
I watched him Sunday, and I'm like, with a backup, that was a master class.
I thought he was clever.
You couldn't guess what they were doing.
I mean, what do you make of Cliff Kingsbury's growth?
Yeah, and I saw you put him number one in your herd hierarchy, and I think a lot of people this
week are like, all right, we can't deny it.
They've got the best record.
If the playoffs were today, they'd have the number.
number one seat in the NFC.
And here's the piece
that might have been missing
the first two years.
They've got some bite to them.
They've got some edge to them.
You were talking about how
everyone was watching Kansas City
versus Green Bay.
You might not have watched
LA versus Philly.
Well, you might not have watched
San Francisco, Arizona.
Josh Norman comes over
and starts yapping at Kingsbury.
And Kingsbury is fine
with yapping back at him.
And it's like, yes, bring this.
Come on.
He gets a 15-yard on sportsman-like penalty.
and you say, well, that's a stupid penalty from a coach.
Look at his players.
Look at DeAndre Hopkins.
Look at the guys behind them.
They feed off this.
It's no surprise that this team has now won all their games on the road.
And to your point earlier, they're winning by an average of 12 points per game.
This was not only without Kyler, this was without DeAndre Hopkins.
They lost Chase Edmonds early.
And it's like, Colt McCoy, go and lead us there.
This is why we pay you as a backup quarterback.
Colt McCoy goes in.
in there. They didn't just beat the 49ers who historically has given Arizona fits. They beat the
snot out of them. And then they talk that talk afterwards. I think there's some edge to this
Cardinals team where they're not just this team out in the desert, the basement dwellers in the
NFC West. Kingsbury doesn't look like a tough guy and maybe he isn't a tough guy, but that team
is playing tough football and they don't back away from anybody. You know, it's interesting. When it comes
to coaches, it's almost like we hold it against you if you're a former player and then you become a coach.
think less of you. You're just a player. I watch Mike Vrable and I watch him go toe to toe to toe.
And every week I'm like, we got to start putting him in the elite coaching circle because, man,
he goes toe to toe to toe with your McDermott's and he's gone toe to toe to toe with Belichick
and Brady. Is it realistic to think without Derek Henry for the next two months? They can be an elite
team. Absolutely. And look at their resume. And I know Henry was with those, but they've beaten the
Chiefs, they've beaten the bills, they've beaten the Colts, and then this game that they had on Sunday,
I don't know anyone who took the Titans going into SoFi on a Sunday night without Derek Henry.
And again, not only beat them, beat the crap out of them, like take them around and play their
game. And it's an incredible thing to watch because Vrable suddenly has this team and they embody
him. You look at that pass rush. And it's Danico Autry, a free agent signing. Bud DePree,
free agent signing. Jeffrey Simmons, a third year player who had three sacks in the first half,
suddenly the Titans who we spent all offseason being like, oh, wow, they've got Julio and
A.J. Brown, they lose their running back and they're like, no, we're going to beat you in the
trenches and we're going to do it with a pass rush. I also would shout out what they did with
their coordinators this year. They lose Arthur Smith and everyone, you know, says, ah, well, let's see
how that goes. They promote Todd Downing. He's been great at an offensive coordinator, and a defensive
coordinator, Shane Bowen, who has been with Mike Vrable since the Ohio State days, the Texans days
here. He's like, send the dogs, let's go. And the quiet mastermind behind all this,
and Vrable is the guy up front. Jim Schwartz was hired as like a defensive consultant,
and he's not getting any write-ups. But I know in that building, Jim Schwartz is playing a role.
So yeah, Adrian Peterson, Jeremy McNichols, we'll talk about those guys. But the coaching has been
really interesting. And Vrable, who does not often get treated like the young geniuses, McVeigh and
Shanahan and whoever else. Mike Frabble might be your coach of the year. Look at their resume,
look what they've done, and look what they've been doing without Derek Henry.
Yeah, we do hold it against coaches who coach, or players who coach. We think, well, they're players.
Dude's got a presence on the sideline. By the way, what do we do? What, you know, I said
about an hour ago, fans are loyal to the W. If Aaron Rogers today,
eat some crow and win Sunday, and I think they will over Seattle. They match it really well.
I'm not holding grudges. I mean, bottom line is, if he can turn the page, I'm on.
You know, I would rather talk football with Aaron than vaccinations. I could give a rip.
But I do have, when he does go sideways, I'm going to talk about it. But what is next for them?
You're doing your job, and Howard Stern is doing his job, and Bill Simmons is doing his job.
and that's part of the job.
And Joy's doing her job.
Today he goes on McAfee and says,
I don't want to be an activist.
I want to be an athlete
or something along those lines.
And I think to a lot of the folks in Green Bay,
Aaron's going to do what Aaron does.
But if he's there on Sunday,
like, we have a better chance to win.
And our livelihoods are tied to winning football.
I thought Jordan Love did not look good.
I think he looked woefully unready for that moment.
And Jordan Love is not an undrafted or fifth round pick.
Jordan Love is a first round.
pick who they traded up to get. And Jordan Love is not a rookie. Jordan Love was there all last year.
So I think they need Rogers and they know that. And I think at the end of the day, his thoughts on
the vaccination status, the thoughts on woke culture, which did not go over well, I think people
will move on because when the game start on Sunday, Rogers is going to be better than Jordan Love.
And Packers fans, as much as they might not like all the distraction of what's going on off the field
all something like, guess what? He gives him a better chance to win. So the narrative moves. It moves.
And he was contrite today on Pat McAfee. I wouldn't be shocked if he's out there Sunday based on
the rules and whether he doesn't have symptoms. And I wouldn't be shocked if he beats Seattle when we
talk on Monday. Like that's why you keep Aaron Rogers around. His name is Peter Schragher. He's fantastic
Fox Sports NFL reporter. The cheat sheet is weekly. It's on the Fox Sports app. It's got insider
information and he invited me to dinner Saturday and I'm trying to make it.
I got, you know, hey, I'm 75% there.
Okay.
Okay.
Colin, we got to dinner one night.
And I wasn't in Malibu either if you thought that was me with the hair.
It wasn't.
It was someone else.
Good stuff, Shrager.
Yeah, you know, the errand stuff is interesting because there were people out there.
Let's cancel the state farm stuff.
I'm not into that.
Like, I'm not going to mess with people's.
You know, in the mob where they say, don't mess.
whether another guy's money or their family.
I don't mess with people's money.
I'm not into that stuff.
Aaron's got his stuff.
I don't think advertisers should peel off.
That's not my thing.
But I do believe when you are a public figure and you are deceptive, then the criticism is going to rain in and how you handle it.
An hour ago, I went on the air.
And I played a game for about five minutes.
I said, here's how I would handle it.
I would own it.
I would say, I just want to play football.
I miss my team.
That's what Aaron has done today.
Not that difficult.
You're not a victim.
We don't want to hear about it.
You're a baller.
Okay, that's what you do.
And when you win Sunday, and I think Green Bay will,
I'm moving on.
I swear to God, I swear to God, people,
I would rather not talk about COVID.
I know that's hard to believe.
I would rather talk about games.
I sat and watched with my wife,
the Steelers Bears last night.
It's unbelievable.
It's like this is why I do.
I don't want to talk COVID.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to?
to do a little kill.
Well, you can find out on The Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have age.
on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Joy with the News.
No.
No.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
I find this situation to be so amusing.
It's like I can just see right through it.
I have a,
I have had a master class in my life dealing with narcissists.
So this is just some of the,
their best work.
So he went on McAfee today.
Yeah.
And he tried to clear up that spectacle that was Friday.
You know, he taught at one point it should be noted.
He talked 18 straight minutes on Friday,
which as PR people will,
tell you, try to be succinct.
If I talked for 18 straight
minutes on COVID,
I would be, I would just say the dumbest stuff.
It is, we're not doctors. So
he went 18 minutes and it's like
brevity is one of the first things you learn by PR people.
By the way, less is more. Less is more.
When you're a public figure,
politician, Obama was great
at that. Clinton was terrible at it. Like Obama
was, here's what I'm saying and I'm stopping.
But also when you are caught in
something, even if you disagree,
with why people who are upset at you,
you're just going to scratch yourself into more.
Like, just let it go.
So he appeared on the Pat McAfee show today,
and he said, I do realize that I'm a role model
to a lot of people.
I acknowledge that I made some comments
that some people might have felt were misleading.
And to anyone who felt misled,
I take full responsibility for those comments.
But in the end, I have to stand true to who I am
and what I'm about, and I stand by what I said.
Okay, so you didn't apologize for anything.
Not that I need you to apologize.
but that's not an apology.
An apology with a butt after it,
why did you waste your breath?
You didn't say anything then
because you didn't meet a word of what you said.
Did you say anything else?
Well, he actually wasn't apologizing.
He just said he takes responsibility
for those comments.
So you're not, because if you have butt
at the end of it, you're not taking responsibility for it.
But he also said, I'm an athlete,
I'm not an activist.
That is true.
So I'm going to get back to doing
what I do best and that's playing ball.
That part I love watching.
Yes, but that's the whole point.
So you're not going to like shut up
and dribble yourself after you went on this whole tirade about woke culture and cancel culture
and the crosshairs of the woke mob. What you realized is you really didn't want that smoke.
So now that's why you want to get back to being an athlete. Because when you're really in these
streets and you're really talking about this, you're going to deal with backlash. You're not
going to like what everybody has to say. This is where I'm an independent voter. This is where America's
hypocrisy and not all Americans. I think most Americans see through this nonsense. But the shut up and
dribble, crowd of LeBron,
defended.
Love, love.
Aaron,
bathing in it's.
Not sports.
So don't be a hypocrite.
Are you for athletes
talking about stuff beyond their sports?
And if the answer is no,
then you should be anti-Lebron and anti-Aren.
Yeah, keep that same energy.
But it's impossible for them because they don't really mean it.
Yeah.
What they really are saying is, I don't want to hear what you have to say.
So I'd like you to shut up and entertain me.
But if someone is saying, someone with some influence is saying something that you do like to hear,
then you encourage it, which means you stand for nothing,
which is not shocking at all.
But the deeper point of this, and I'm 100% with you,
I don't want to talk about COVID.
Listen, I'm never going to agree with you.
I'm not.
So what are we wasting our breath for?
Let's remember, 72% of America is vaccinated.
So you do agree with 72% of America.
No, no, I'm saying if you don't agree with what I'm saying,
let's just agree to disagree and go on with our lives.
I like you don't want to talk about COVID.
I'm not out here saving anybody's life.
You're not listening to me.
If you've already decided what you're going to do about it,
that's what you're going to do.
What I really think would happen with Aaron was people like Howard Stern and Kareem Abdulrabar.
We're laughing at him.
Yes, we're outraged.
And what exactly are you going to say to Kareem Abduljabbar?
I would just love to hear it.
Well, and I think also is that this is one of the things that there's a lot of cons going on.
I had this conversation yesterday with a friend.
And, you know, if you're too woke, you'll go broke.
the 10 richest cities in America
are the 10 wokenest cities in America.
They're all left-leaning cities.
What is that even mean?
It's nonsense.
So the point being, though, is
we tend to defend,
liberals do this and conservatives do this.
We defend people who we agree with.
Right.
And so whenever I hear this shut up and dribble stuff,
which is, I've always said this about LeBron.
You have a right to be an activist,
but I love your basketball.
That part I don't care about.
I feel the same way with Aaron.
I love Aaron's football.
I don't care about his activism.
I do think LeBron and Aaron have a right to go there.
I'm never going to be a shut up and dribble.
Oh, you do.
But what Aaron realized is, if you're going to step into that space,
one, you better not just be picky, choosy about who you're putting yourself in the gauntlet
with Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus.
Yeah.
Might want to run that through a couple times and make sure that your previous actions,
your reputation up until this point is in that same vein.
Like what have you been doing as an activist up until this point?
And now all of a sudden you're in,
what it really comes down to is this.
He didn't like the backlash from his misleading comments.
He didn't like it.
And the reality is he should have done what he's doing today.
Sorry, you feel misled or not even sorry.
Like I take responsibility for people feeling misled.
I'm going to go play football.
Yeah.
Because I do believe when the Packers win Sunday and I think they will.
It's over.
Nobody cares. It's over.
It'll be people on Twitter
that are not real football fans. If you win Sunday,
we'll talk football. And that's for the record, folks.
That's really what I do. I watch games and talk about them.
And no one is canceled.
Again, what do you know?
Nobody's getting canceled.
So the Seahawks announced yesterday that they have designated Russell Wilson
to return from injured reserve.
So that means he is expected to return to action this week.
Dr. Steve Shin, who performed Wilson's surgery on October 8th,
said in a statement that he was clear to return to football activities.
He said, although this was uncharted territory, I've also never encountered a player
with so much so committed to his post-operative therapy
and with so much conviction to return to the same, if not better, level of performance,
as he had pre-injury, I'm absolutely amazed at his progress,
so much so now that I can confidently clear him for full return to play without reservation.
So that is a voter confidence.
When you looked at his injury, the question is, can he grip the football tightly?
because, you know, it is a tight grip.
Now we get into wetter weather.
Can you grab that puppy, hold onto it with the injury?
And so a lot of the Russell Wilson footage I've seen, see, watch him right there.
A lot of his footage is he's moving the ball.
Does he have the strength when he gets hit to hold onto it?
Because as we know, fumbles and picks are bad.
So you can see a lot of his exercises are just based on hands.
Can I grab the ball, run around with it, and hold it secure?
Well, I mean, Gino's done a nice job as a backup.
Fine.
He's 702 yards, five touchdowns, and an interception.
You're not asking a backup quarterback to do a Nick Foll's situation.
Like, ideally, it's two or three weeks, and you can keep the team afloat.
That's all that's being asked of you.
They are three and a half point underdogs out of the Seahawks against the Packers this weekend,
which will now be an absolute, not that it wasn't before, but absolute must-watch game.
He also posted a video earlier in the day Wilson did with a shot of Lambeau Field.
it seems like he's going to be back for this game.
Who did that? Aaron did that?
Russell did that.
Russell did that. Okay.
Russell Wilson.
So a little bit of drama in the heat game,
Heat Nuggets game last night.
Nicola Yokic was ejected from the game.
Just closing minutes of the game,
he delivered a cheap shot to Markeef Morris.
Yeah, like brutal.
Now, Markief did bump into him first.
Yes.
But it wasn't a cheap shot.
What Nikola Yokic did was shove him in the back.
So you can see it here.
There's some contact.
and then that's not good retaliation.
Yoko said after the game he regretted going too hard.
Yeah, he's going to get, by the way,
Yonk is just like 300 pounds.
I mean, this is unbelievable behavior from their league MVP.
Like, you can't.
If LeBron did this, it would be outrage.
But let's listen to Yolch after the game.
It's a stupid play, you know.
I feel bad.
I'm not supposed to react that way.
But it's in the middle of the game.
I get hit.
I didn't.
I saw him, but I didn't even, like, I thought it was just going to be like a take foul, you know, so he kind of bumped me.
And I was like, that was a little bit like he, I think it was a dirty play.
And then I just needed to protect myself.
Can't protect yourself when you're shoving someone on the back.
I bet they give him a three game, four game suspension.
He was officially given a unsportsmanlike conduct foul.
And Morris was assessed, the flagrant two.
So both left the game.
he's probably going to get suspended.
Now, how many games we don't know?
Jimmy Butler also got a technical for yelling,
and I mean, everyone was rushing into the middle of the court.
It was a bad scene.
It's not what you want to see.
And obviously, the medical staff brought a stretcher from Morris at one point.
He did get up and walk off on his own.
Yolch is a big man.
Yeah, and when you're being pushed from the back,
you're not able, like, if he was coming at him from the front,
he'd be able to brace himself, prepare for that,
contact, but when you're pushing him in the back.
I see a lot of people defending Yokic in the spot.
Like, it's indefensible. It doesn't matter
that you don't like the situation
or you feel like someone's being soft. You can't
shove someone full speed in the back like that.
It's a cheap shot, regardless of what Morris
did. I mean, LeBron's never been in a fight
for a reason. Like, you're the face of the league.
You just can't... Yeah, I mean, this is like, if
LeBron did this as the league MVP, it would
be an absolute outrage.
Joy with the news.

Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.

thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.

podcast. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam Jek. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it. Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s. To be clear, 84 is big to me. Not.
just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

Your podcasts. Escape QuickBooks, QuickSand with NetSuite by Oracle, the number one financial system.
Go there right now, netsuite.com slash heard. So we're at the midseason point of the NFL season.
Why not give it awards? We like awards, right? Love awards. Do we have any music for awards?
Let's do some awards season with NFL awards. Here we go. Okay. Our first award is best rookie
quarterback. And the nominees are Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, and Mack Jones.
All have been impressive.
The award goes to Mack Jones, who is the highest graded quarterback as a rookie this year.
Most wins, highest completion percentage.
Now, now he got a great script.
Let's be honest about this.
Josh McDaniels, Belichick, and a great defense.
He didn't have to do a lot of lifting, not a lot of words in his role, but nonetheless, he delivered Mac Jones.
Best non-rooky quarterback.
The nominees are Jamar Chase, Rishon Slater, Mike U.S.
Parsons and Kyle Pitts.
It's close, but I'm going to go with Rashon Slater.
He has been so consistent.
Only two sacks allowed out of 371 pass blocking snaps.
Played every snap in one of the toughest roles in the NFL.
There have been no ups and downs.
He was great game one, dependable game two, and a pro bowler since then.
The best performance without a supporting cast.
The nominees are Aaron Rogers, Josh Allen.
Derek Carr and Lamar Jackson.
I'm thinking Aaron Rogers is a joke.
Derek Carr, please give the award to Derek Carr.
Okay, he lost his coach.
His star receiver, Henry Ruggs, is done.
He's averaging 320 yards a game.
That is second only to Tom Brady.
So he's had a lot of chaos, and he has been absolutely outstanding.
I think he's proving to his critics.
Dude's an award winner.
Best understudy performance.
The nominees are Mike White.
Colt McCoy, Case Keenham, and Gino Smith.
I'm going to give Mike White the win here.
Most completions, 37, in a player's first career start in NFL history, and he wasn't doing
it with a great offensive line.
That's a ton.
And by the way, led the comeback win against the Bengals, so they trailed by 10 in the final
five minutes.
So it was a big, big lift without a ton of support, and he pulled it off.
I like this category.
Best quarterback who can't rent a car, meaning under 25.
nominees are Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, and Lamar Jackson.
It's close. It's got to be Kyler Murray. I'm blown away by his completion percentage.
73% completion percentage. You know, for a quarterback, let's be honest, his size makes it a little more difficult to see over the top.
He's also a gifted runner, which means a lot of times people are breaking off routes. Those can be harder completions.
But he was always spectacular, but he now does the mundane.
the layups extraordinarily well. So I get the upside and the efficiency. That's amazing.
Coach on the hottest seat. I don't know if you want to win this award. Matt Nagy, Joe Judge,
Brian Flores, and Kyle Shanahan. It's got to be Nagy. I think he's capable. But they're
on a four-game losing streak. And remember, Joy, they ended the season last year in trouble.
So he has six wins in his last 19 games. This is a major city with major market media. And he's
an offensive coach and they're 30th in scoring.
So your side of the ball struggles, you're going to get more heat.
A quarterback who needs a realtor.
Tua Tua Tunga Vailoa, Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, and Jimmy Garoppolo.
It's Sam Darnold.
Let's be honest.
They have an impatient owner.
They have a coach who publicly criticized him.
He leads all quarterbacks with 11 picks.
I mean, Tua's got limitations, but he's not a turnover machine.
So impatient owner, coach calling you out.
I think he's in trouble.
Current playoff team most likely to miss the playoffs.
Steelers, Patriots, Saints, and Falcons.
Falcons.
And the reason being is they have the worst point differential of any playoff team.
So when they win it's close.
When they lose, it can be ugly.
That's something that actually Vegas considers a lot.
Your margin of victory matters.
Like Arizona is blowing a lot of people out.
So their wins have been narrow.
And they do get credit for that.
Pittsburgh gets credit for narrow wins.
That's coaching.
You get credit.
But it also means you'd be the first to get knocked out of the playoffs.
Team currently outside of the playoffs most likely to get in.
The nominees are Chiefs, Browns, Bengals, and Seahawks.
I'm going to give it to Cleveland.
I think they are ranked as the number two rushing offense.
But I've got to tell you something.
Two good receivers, two good tight ends, two good backs, excellent offensive line.
They're not asking Baker to do a ton.
This feels like a playoff team to me.
In fact, I think they're going to go on a little run here.
I think they're going to win in Foxborough.
I think Cleveland goes in a little run here.
Best surprise player.
The nominees are Cordrell Patterson, James Connor, Trayvon Diggs, and Debo Samuel.
Well, you knew this better than I did.
I say James Connor.
Like, I just thought he was a pedestrian running back in Pittsburgh.
No, he's got 11 touchdowns.
And all of them in the last seven games, he's just been fantastic.
I mean, I thought he was fine.
But what the real issue was was the O line, not James Connor.
So he has been a fantastic playmaking pickup.
This was a great play by him.
By the way, why don't people do more screen passes?
There's such a success.
James Connor wins it.
Most disappointing player, Patrick Mahomes, Odell, Ben Rothesberger, and Sam Darnold.
Well, it's got to be Mahomes.
He's got a pass rating under 30.
And by the way, this is actually a credit to you because our expectations are so high for Patrick Mahomes.
It's been disappointing.
He's owning it.
He's struggling.
He's off a little lost.
I think you'll get it back.
But when you are this good and you still have really good weapons and a great coach, we expect more.
Our final award is the mid-season coach of the year.
The nominees are Cliff Kingsbury, Mike Vrable, Bill Belichick, and Matt LaFlor.
By the way, these are great, great choices.
I came down to Vrable and Cliff Kingsbury.
I'm going to give it to Cliff because they're 5 and 0 in the road,
and they've won each by 12 points.
and he had to win a game with a backup quarterback,
and he's in a tougher division.
And also is, he didn't have a history in the NFL.
He is learning as he goes here.
So he's got a younger quarterback.
I think what he's done is significant.
I think he has been the coach of the year.
Good for him.
You know what, man?
Some things are hard to explain.
He's a better pro coach than a college coach.
Now, that could just be, that could be Kyler Murray.
Cala Mary helps.
It's pretty good.
But he had in the homes in college.
You didn't have a stiff in college.
