This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan,
so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away,
such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot,
or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith ruling.

From 1979, that was a big moment for me.
84 was big to me.
I'm Sam Jay.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we
survived it with our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors.
Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s.
84 was a wild year.
It was a wild year.
I don't think there's a more important year for Black.

Greg Olson, now Fox Sports analyst.
Team Kevin Burkart
did the
the Bucks Colts game yesterday.
You guys are great and it was interesting
watching it as good as Brady is.
He is a creature of habit.
And when you give him
gronk and a good running
back, his body language,
He's now in more play-action passing.
And I want you to talk a little bit about,
because you know the tight-end position so well,
there's just something about,
you know, Gronk's always this playful, funny, goofy guy.
But boy, he can manipulate the margins
and manipulate coverage.
For a Hall of Famer, he's open a lot.
What is Gronk?
When you watch him, what do you see?
We said that yesterday on the call.
He had the long wheel route,
and then early in the game he had the two seams.
it probably accounted for 75, 80 of his yards and three catches.
And when he caught the ball, he's wide open.
And it's just amazing how a guy like him who's, like you said, a Hall of Fame
tight end can continue to get so open.
I mean, he's running up the seam here.
I mean, someone's got to guard him.
You know what I mean?
But I'll tell you, he's so good.
He uses his body.
He understands leverage.
Brady and him have such a timing, you know, even if a guy is closing down on him,
whether it's a safety coming out of the middle of the field or a linebacker carrying him,
the accuracy of Brady, the timing and the rhythm of their passing game, he throws them open,
he keeps them open with the ball placement.
They have a historically good combination, those two.
There's a reason they've been doing it together for so long.
There's a reason Gronk came out of retirement because he wanted to play with Brady.
You can't teach that.
That's time under task.
That's time on the field.
That's familiarity.
That's trust.
You don't build that overnight.
And it's a big difference.
When Gronk's in that system, is he the fastest tight end?
No.
Is he the best routes?
No, he finds a way to get open.
He has unbelievable hands.
His catch radius is huge.
And Brady trusts him and he's going to go to him in critical spots.
And we've seen it the last couple weeks.
You know, boy, they became very Carson Wentz reliant in that game.
And I like Carson, but he can play a little reckless.
And he accounted for some turnovers.
I almost feel like the Colts, there's a way for them to win.
And they got away from their way to win.
That's what it felt like to me.
And that's okay.
There's very few teams like Green Bay that can pound you.
they can go pretty, they can get into the octagon.
I kind of feel like the Colts kind of forgot who they were yesterday.
That's what it felt like to me.
Yeah, I thought it was interesting.
You know, Frank Reich, who I have a ton of respect.
I think he's as good a play caller.
I think he's as good an offensive mind of creating the best package in a given week
to go against their opponent.
And I think going into the game, Tampa Bay has this ability.
You know, we saw it week one with Dallas.
We see it.
They face the fewest amount of runs.
They're the number one rush deep.
defense. Part of it is because people take the run game out of their system proactively and never
even really test them. Right. So through the first half, the plan of we're going to throw on first down,
we're going to, a lot of the RPO stuff, get the ball out of Carson's hand, was really effective.
They went into that, you know, they came out of the half starting to third quarter with the ball up 2414.
They threw the ball every single down on that drive. They found themselves down in the red zone and
then the strip sack. Brady goes down and scores. Next drive, having success again, not a real
run game. You know, it was working, but I'll tell you, when they found themselves down a score,
midway through the fourth quarter, they gave the ball to Jonathan Taylor, what seemed like 30 times
in a row. They went back to Old Faithful. They went back to what got them there. They went right down
the field, scored, tied it up, and then of course Brady went down. But they had a 10-point lead.
They felt strongly that they were going to be able to attack them more through the air than on
the ground. But I think there's this balance that coaches go through. Do I play to my strengths,
or do I play away from the strengths of my opponent?
And I think there was a little of that at play yesterday with Indianapolis.
You know, it was interesting watching the physicality of Baltimore last night in San Francisco and New England.
And I just sit there and I think to myself November football in December.
And you know this because now you played in Miami in Carolina, but you also played in Chicago.
There is something, my eyes can see it.
There is something about Thanksgiving on.
The games, it hurts to get hit.
It's harder.
And I think there's certain cultures that just feel physical.
And I mean, I know it just sounds so simple.
But when you start watching like New England, I'm like, oh, this is just, this is just perfect.
It's getting windy.
It's getting ugly.
I don't know.
When you were in Chicago, did you build the team differently to play in lousy weather?
I think you do.
I think you build a different.
It's definitely harder for your skill players, right?
Late in the season in Chicago, when that grass gets all muddy and it's,
they have the heaters on, but it's cold, but then it gets all mushy and soft.
It's hard to run really elaborate option routes.
It's hard to get in and out of your cuts.
It just is different versus a team playing inside on turf where the footing is always the same.
And it's funny, a couple weeks ago when Indianapolis just blew the doors off of Buffalo,
it was in Buffalo, it was in Buffalo, it was rainy, it was cold, there was wind, it was nasty.
we've seen Indianapolis now, both the game against San Francisco earlier in the year and that crazy monsoon they played in.
Wentz found away.
I know he made some plays, but Indianapolis wins that game.
They win in Buffalo.
The run game in certain situations can bail you out when you don't have to be so past dependent.
Now, what I will say about the run, and this is kind of hopefully the way the NFL is continuing to go, gross yardage on the ground is completely irrelevant.
You need to be good running the ball when it matters.
quarter with a lead, third down, fourth down, goal to go situations.
If you can run when you have to run, that's where it matters.
If you run for 130 yards, but 75 of them come in the first quarter, I don't care.
If you run for 90 yards, but 75 of them come in the fourth quarter, that means you had the lead,
and that means you won the game because you were able to run it out.
So being good when it matters, bad weather, critical downs, situational football.
That's where a run game bails you out, as opposed to,
just worrying about at the end of the day what your box score looks like and, you know, as far as
your running backs are concerned.
Well, it's interesting.
I want to talk Cowboys.
You had the Cowboy Bronco game and Dallas couldn't move the ball.
The following week, you had the Cowboy Atlanta game and they were dominant.
And maybe that was a tell.
But I watched them and the defense now clearly coordinators, I mean, the Raiders clearly found holes in
that secondary.
I mean, they did it without Waller, without Henry Ruggs.
when you had Dallas, you saw the worst of them and the best of them.
What did you see that, because you obviously saw it before, I was way high on them.
Are you shocked at all that you saw the Denver game and now a Raider game where those
teams just did whatever they wanted to?
What are teams doing?
Because obviously the film is telling some offenses, they're not great here.
We're going after them.
Yeah, I think defensively speaking, for the Cowboys being that, I think their formula
early in the year was they were still giving up a decent amount of yards.
They were still susceptible to the past, but they were creating turnovers at a really,
really fast clip, right?
So that can hide a lot of those production numbers.
You know, they did improve from last year.
I think Dan Quinn is as good a defensive play caller as there is in the NFL.
He wasn't going to turn that thing from dead last to first overnight, but he made them
serviceable.
He cleaned up a lot of the coverages.
And early in the year, they were playing that complimentary ball, right?
Offensively, they can run the ball at you.
with those running backs in that offensive line, and then
Dak, you know, had the little spurt where he got hurt, but I think
Dak is as good as quarterback as there is.
He's in that top echelon guys.
So that combination on offense with a defense that was very opportunistic and digs,
you know, eight interceptions through eight games.
I mean, the clip he was on early, that worked.
If Dallas isn't able to continue to force turnovers at a high clip, they're going to
give up yards, and as a result, they're going to give up points.
So I think that's the key for them that they need to continue to find.
And sometimes turnovers just,
come your way or, you know, takeaways as the defense wants to call them.
They find you tips, overthrows, fumbles.
Sometimes they come in spurts and sometimes they don't.
But they emphasize it, they coach it.
That's a big element.
If they're going to compete in the NFC and they're going to try to, you know, fight for
that one seed or just at least fight to make the conference championship,
they're going to have to force turnovers on defense to complement what their offense does.
Finally, tonight, Washington and Seattle, you were a Seahawk a year ago.
I said this.
I think they're in a rebuild.
just don't want to admit it. I would probably move Bobby Wagner. He's played a very physical
position for a decade. He's great. But I think you start looking at some of these expensive
guys and, you know, Russell Wilson's expensive. He's a huge cap hit. You got to find some space.
You got to get some hits in the draft. You got to get some draft picks. Are you shocked?
I mean, obviously Russell Wilson got hurt, but are you shocked at the erosion so quickly of
Seattle, which we'll watch the Hawks tonight?
You know, I am.
And after being there, the part that I always respected about Seattle from the outside and then after being there kind of seen behind the curtain is they, I perceived and then experienced their good where it matters, right?
They run a great organization.
They're very organized.
They're very attention to detail.
They're very situational football oriented.
That's why they seem to win all those close games.
They don't find themselves in that position, even though they're elite at quarterback.
They had excellent offensive weapons.
I know the running back situation with Chris Carson has thrown off that because they want to be a running.
first team. They have a good left tackle, Dwayne Brown, a longtime veteran, a stable guy at left tackle.
Secondary players. They have, you know, Jamal Adams, people want to say what they want about
his past coverage, but he's a dynamic player around the ball force. Bobby Wagner's a Hall of Famer.
They're good at the key positions. They should not be losing this many games. I understand that
Russ was hurt, and now he's back. They need to be better offensively. This has to become an
offensive driven team.
They need to take the training wheels off.
They need to let the offensive coordinator do his job.
They cannot treat this like the 2012-2013 Seattle Seahawks where they're going to win 14-9.
It's just not going to happen.
They need to say we are going to score 35 and we're going to outrush you.
And if along the way we give up 10, great job, right?
They need to go into a game thinking we are going to out-score.
We did that through the first half of last year.
And then the defense kind of found their way.
and then we went much more conservative in the results the second half were not as good as the first half.
They need to get out of that mindset.
They need to turn this over to Russ.
You are our guy.
DK, lock it, throw it 40 times, and let's go try to score 35 plus a game and see where it shakes out.
Greg Olson, Fox Sports NFL analysts.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?

Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

Sometimes when we're in the pursuit of the thing, we get so wrapped up in the chase that we don't realize that we are in possession of the thing.
And we're still chasing it.
And we don't know when we've done enough.
Because people scoreboard watch.
Life becomes about wins and losses.
Steve Burns, Dustin Ross, because you find it important to be a good person while you hear on earth.
Are you a good person because you're afraid?
Because that's two different intentions, bro.
Absolutely.
And that's two different levels of trust.
I want you to just really be a good person.

No, no, no, no, no, turn on the news. This is the Herdline News. Well, it was Thanksgiving weekend,
and the Cowboys Raiders was watched by quite a few people. Wow. And, and, and, you know, it was,
And that massive amount of people also watched the teams combined for 28 penalties, 14 each,
which accounted for 276 yards.
That's the 14th most in NFL history.
So not the cleanest game of football, but the Cowboys did nearly complete the comeback.
They were down eight at the start of the fourth.
Dak led the team with three scoring drives in the final quarter, sent the game into overtime.
But obviously, the penalties were huge.
cornerback Anthony Brown was called for his fourth pass interference penalty,
which eventually set the Raiders up for game winning field goal in the 3633 victory.
And a little bit of news about the Cowboys, Mike McCarthy has entered COVID protocols.
He reportedly tested positive, so he will not be coaching for this Thursday's game
against the Saints.
According to USA Today, Dan Quinn will be taking ever head coaching duties.
but this is not what you want, obviously, on a short week.
Well, not a short week, but coming off of that Thanksgiving game.
And look, I mean, this is what the Raiders do.
They're not a bad team.
They've had a very interesting season.
This is a great example of what a franchise quarterback does.
They have an interim coach.
They had a tragedy in their organization.
They lost another star corner.
They've had some chaos.
The franchise has moved.
And Derek Carr, not every weekend, but on occasion can just say,
I'm missing my star tight end.
I got an interim coach.
And Derek is unstoppable.
And again, Derek's not going to do it like Aaron every weekend.
Right.
But for those who knock him, go look at the team.
Like Stafford right now has got some chaos.
It's a disaster.
Derek Carr and Matt Stafford once considered A plus.
The other's like, I don't know.
I don't see the gap like everybody else.
I think Derek's a tremendous talent.
No, you are a big Derek Carr supporter.
I actually think that he doesn't get as much credit for what he does,
not only just to keep this team to be competitive.
He can run.
He can lead an athlete.
If he was in a functional situation,
I think we would look at Derek Carr very differently than we do.
But that Cowboy Saints game will be an important one and an interesting one now that Mike McCarthy is out.
So what's up with the Dolphins, right?
Remember when everyone was talking about firing, Brian Flores like two weeks ago?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You and I said, I don't know, we should probably be a little patient, maybe.
Well, they're on a four-game winning streak.
Yeah.
And they beat the Panthers, 33 to 10.
And their defense looks like last year's defense.
And now they got Jalen Waddle back.
It's a good throw by Tua.
Now they have some of their, now they got a little speed in the perimeter now.
Yeah.
Their defense is definitely looking like it was last year.
It's obviously had a bumpy start, but that happens.
And they seem to have gotten it together.
Tua played incredibly well, 27 to 31.
Yep.
230 yards in a touchdown.
You mentioned Waddle, season high, 137 yards.
and a touchdown. Cam Newton, not so much. He was benched after going five and 21 for 92 yards,
two interceptions and one rushing touchdown. I know everyone's going to pile on Cam. And I'm not
being a Cam Newton apologist, but it might take a little time to get things rolling in the
middle of the season with a new system. Like, he just came back. I know we were all very excited about
how it went, but like you might have these games. I do think it was a little bit reactionary to
Bench him.
And also, if you go to the last, so how many games, so there were 16 games last year,
and Miami, how many games were in week 12 or something like that?
So if you go to the last 27, 28 football games, Miami's got a top five defense.
Now, early in the season, they didn't.
But if you go to last year in the last five weeks, it's like this team beat New England, right?
Like, this is an elite defense, just like Kansas City's offense, Joy.
They lost themselves.
There was these Deshawn Watson rumors.
it wasn't good for the locker room.
Go to the last five weeks and last year.
That defense now healthy, it's an elite defense.
It's going to make a lot of quarterbacks look bad.
And everyone is talking about Tua again.
I don't know what my full assessment of it is yet.
There's still a lot of time to play.
But in the last three games, he has 80.5 completion percentage, 661 yards,
three touchdowns, one interception, and one rushing touchdown.
He's playing well, he's being efficient, and obviously they're winning
because they're on a four-game winning streak.
Now, they do have the Giants and the Jets coming up.
Then they have the Saints Titans,
and then they play the Patriots at home to end this season.
So we'll see what happens over the next few games
if they're going to continue to be in the hunt.
But I think the positive thing is,
two is playing well, and the defense is back.
So let's just get things steady again
and then start whatever we're going to do in the offseason to rebuild.
Also, more news about the Panthers.
McCaffrey is out.
He will miss the rest of the season.
with an ankle injury.
Running backs, it's November.
I still contend.
Do we know if Derek Henry's back?
I still contend.
So they're hoping to get him back by the playoffs.
Because Joy, the last six athletes that have been heard,
they always say nine weeks and then week six,
you're like, oh, Russell Wilson's back.
Derek Henry, that body's going to heal.
He's going to be back for the playoffs.
Yes, in his injury, they are, like the positive end of it is that he is back for the
playoffs.
So it isn't a completely season-ending injury.
So obviously the big news is Lincoln Riley is coming to USC.
I know. California is so awful out here.
Nobody wants to come here.
It's a great exodus.
Everybody's leaving.
Nobody likes California.
The taxes.
Well, someone else who's leaving, but not California, is leaving Oklahoma as Spencer Rattler.
He has decided that he is going to enter the transfer portal.
He just made that announcement.
He had lost his job, the starting job, to Caleb Williams during the season.
not terribly surprising, but this is obviously something that he wants to do.
And it is pretty predictable after this change with Lincoln Riley leaving.
Now, the Sooners have also lost some other top recruits since the Lincoln Riley news dropped.
So Spencer Rattler will no longer be there, but six top players, including five-star quarterback Malachi Nelson.
From California.
Has from, yes, he lives, well, yes, he plays 35 miles from here.
We are very close to USC.
He is decommitted from Oklahoma.
He plays at Los Alamitos High School.
You're a very good player.
I've seen the high school footage.
Very good.
Five star running back Relique Brown also hinted that he could follow Lincoln Raleigh's USC.
Ari Wasserman, college football reporter for the athletic, tweeted,
I've been told that USC is going to make a huge recruiting splash as soon as this evening.
As this evening, so be on the lookout.
By the way, I play no favorites on this show.
but if you're a California kid, mom and dad would love to watch you play.
It's very hard to get to Norman, a lot of flights.
Again, I play no favorites here, but staying home to play is always makes it easier for cousins and mom and dad.
Well, I mean, look, like going to USC is a great place to go to school.
But if Lincoln, if you were committing to Oklahoma, you were as a quarterback, you were going for Lincoln Riley.
Yes.
So if he is no longer there, Spencer Rattler is obviously already gone.
he was going to transfer likely anyway,
but now that Lincoln Riley is not there,
he is transferring,
and Malachi Nelson is decommitted.
So, I mean, he plays right down the street right now,
and he was going to Oklahoma for Lincoln Riley.
I don't know if that's the news or not,
but it just would seem like that would...
It's excellent reporting.
Makes sense.
Excellent reporting by Joy Taylor.
This show is about journalism.
Very impartial.
I have no sources.
I'm just reading the Phillies.
Staying close to home is never a bad idea.
Joy with the news.
Well, that's the news.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because,
of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

Sometimes when we're in the pursuit of the thing, we get so wrapped up in the chase that we
don't realize that we are in possession of the thing.
And we're still chasing it.
And we don't know when we've done enough.
Because people scoreboard watch.
Life becomes about wins and losses.
Steve Burns, Dustin Ross,
because you find it important to be a good person while you hear on earth?
Are you a good person because you're afraid?
Because that's two different intentions, bro.
Absolutely.
And that's two different levels of trust.
I want you to just really be a good person.

NFL week 12.
It's called the three-word game.
We are forced to describe every game in three words going back to Thanksgiving.
Let's not waste any time.
And here we go.
Chicago, Detroit, the nagging question.
All right, Matt Nagy won.
Snap to five-game losing streak.
We still don't know his future.
Justin Fields was beat up, so Andy Dalton had an 18 play drive against the awful lions to cap it.
We will wait for word on Matt Nagy's future.
That report that he was gone after Thanksgiving has now been acknowledged as a false report.
Las Vegas, Dallas, Carr kept rolling.
By the way, Raiders are undefeated when Derek Carr throws for 300 plus yards.
they're 6 and 0 and he does it quite regularly.
And this is a big play offense.
With or without Henry Ruggs, he had five passes of over 30 yards.
And the knock on Derek Car was always, he's afraid to let it rip.
He plays it safe like her cousins.
Not this year.
Derek is letting it go downfield and he was rewarded.
Buffalo, New Orleans, buffed and stuffed.
Each of the Bills seven wins this year, each one.
have been by 15 plus points.
They're inconsistent, but when they get rolling, watch out.
Tampa Indy, 4, 4, 4, 4.
Bucks had more rushing first downs 13 than passing first downs 11,
and it was a very physical performance against a very physical team.
It was gronk, and it was Leonard Fernette.
And 21 points off a lot of Colt turnovers.
They had five turnovers.
So it was the best of Indianapolis this year and the worst of Indianapolis in big games.
Tennessee twice and Tampa, they just turned the ball over too much.
New York and Houston followed flight plan.
Jets won two games last year.
This was their third win this year.
Zach Wilson is still a turnover machine.
That's not good, but I will say this.
Good effort defensively.
The defense had given a really poor effort, and this Jets defense played really hard.
Philly, New York, this one hurts, like Jalen hurts.
No TDs, three picks, 45% completion percentage, and they hit him more than once.
Now, the good news is the Eagles had 200-plus yards rushing.
I will say this to this Giants defense is pretty good.
You say what you want about it.
It's pretty good Giants defense.
They're not in a total rebuild.
because I like a lot of their defensive personnel.
They just got to get the quarterback right.
But when you watch them this year against some of the more clever offenses,
Giants can stack up pretty good up front.
Carolina, Miami, into a groove.
Three games for Tua.
This year, he's had over 80% completion percentage.
I got to be fair here.
I always said, yeah, he's accurate.
What else?
Well, he's really accurate.
87% completion percentage.
He made a couple.
That's a really nice throw.
This is what he does.
He's not going to give you anything off script.
He's a little bit like a left-handed Mac Jones.
Not going to give you a ton off script.
You play good defense.
Doesn't have to come from behind, drop 35, 40 times.
But you ask him to make throws to specific spots and people.
He can do it.
Tennessee, New England, Pat's top billing.
By the way, six-game winning streak.
I know y'all love.
the defense. They're averaging 35 a game in the win streak. So they're a little more explosive
than you think. And what they really do, Ramandre Stevenson, at running back from Oklahoma,
has been a super pick up for them. Kendrick Bourne, Iron Eagle, Born ultimatum.
They're a little more explosive than you think because it's provided some of it with their
tight ends and their running game. But they're scoring some points during this streak.
Pittsburgh, Cincinnati. That was pitiful.
at one point it was 41 to 3 Cincinnati.
The defense has allowed in the last two games 450 yards.
I mean, let's be honest about this.
Have you to swap uniforms, this would have looked like the last 10 years.
Joe Mixon had a huge day running the football.
Cincinnati was more physical.
They had the playmakers.
So as good as Joe Burrow is, they didn't have to rely on them.
They ran the football.
Atlanta, Jacksonville, another.
Duval Dudd.
Jags five straight games without scoring 20 points.
They've got to get faster.
They've got a draft speed.
They're too slow.
Chargers, Broncos, certain victory or Sartan victory.
Patrick Sertan, great rookie corner.
Two interceptions of Justin Herbert in the fourth quarter.
That is one.
It went for a pick six.
He's the Alabama corner.
It was the second corner picked.
and some thought Denver should have picked a quarterback, but he has been, under Vic Fangio,
he has been a remarkable rookie corner.
That's not an easy division with Mahomes and Derek Carr and Justin Herbert to be a corner.
He has been, I mean, he's a Pro Bowl level corner.
He is really special.
Rams Green Bay, totally no problem.
Aaron Rogers, one practice all week, bad toe, didn't matter.
Aaron's playing great football.
Matt LaFleur, by the way, is now 9-0 as the Packers head coach after a loss.
Minnesota, San Francisco, what's Jimmy Worth?
Do you know Jimmy Garoppolo has had a 90-plus passer rating in five straight games, Joy?
Elijah Mitchell, San Francisco's ridiculous.
It doesn't matter who the running back is.
They get a six-round Elijah Mitchell.
this kid now.
Fourth game with 100 plus rushing yards this year.
They didn't even target early.
They weren't even targeting Kittle and Debo Samuel.
They've gone back to play action, let Jimmy G.
be comfortable.
Impressive win.
A lot of people didn't watch it because the Rams game and the Packers game.
Niners looked really good and out physical the physical Minnesota team.
Cleveland, Baltimore, not so remarkable.
Listen, the first quarterback to win with four interceptions since Carson Palmer eight years ago,
and his interceptions were bad, like he was thrown to the wrong people.
But I will say this.
When you're gifted, you can have those bad picks, but he has a short memory.
He doesn't care.
He plays the next series.
He plays with a ton of confidence.
And I'm not saying he's the world's best thrower.
That's not it.
But when you make mistakes, you can't go into the abyss.
Like Baker Mayfield will have a pick.
You won't get the same quarterback.
Lamar, irrelevant.
Give me the ball.
I'm ready to go.
Seattle, Washington football team, ice cold Heineke.
Taylor Heineke is coming off his best game of the year.
The Seattle offense is a little bit of a mess.
And Heineke has had back-to-back games with 100-plus passer rating.
I like the Washington football team to win tonight.

Well, Lincoln Riley's private jet has landed.
They are out there banging the drum, as Joy just reported.
There will be some big news in the next 48 to 72 hours with USC football and some commits.
Hey, no favorites on this show.
But it does appear to be a very good day to be a Trojan and maybe not in Oklahoma sooner.
You know, later sooner's.
All right, we'll see you tomorrow.
Speak for yourself coming up next.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band

Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a
