Okay, we're not doing that. This is a fun Friday. Let's not bash people, huh? Exactly. Let's be glass-how. Let's be positive. Yeah, glass-half-full guy. Jets 21 Patriot 17.

Oh, this weekend. Okay. Positive. Okay. I like it. Yeah, positively insane. I like it. So let's start with this.

I was saying it last night. I was just saying it off. I can tell. I don't have to have the play sheet. I can tell like, oh, I know what they want to do. I know what they want to establish. I said this a couple weeks ago, and I believe this. I think Vrable is the most underrated coach in pro sports in America.

All that dude does. The fact that he took the chiefs to overtime and did not get a first down in the second half. So I watched that first drive last night, and I'm like, and then Mr. Tough guy comes out with a trick play. I loved it. I mean, just talk about, first of all, that's not as easy as people think. It's not as easy as people think, and neither is short week in Lambo. It's snowing on a Thursday night.

You know that crowd is just rocking. That is a tough place to go, just an absolute hornet's nest. And to go in there and kind of push those guys around a little bit, even the way the defense closed it in the fourth quarter, like Green Bay is trying to come back. I think, you know, Tana Hill had the one slip up on the throw late in the game, but the defense has kind of went back and forth a little in that fourth quarter. and the Titans just shut them down.

But that jump pass, I mean, that's so much harder than people think because you've got to get the O line to sell it up front and get enough sell for him to, for the running back to hold the ball for a couple seconds right there just to let Hooper leak out. Hooper's going to block down and then leak out. I mean, those guys up front are basically playing Red Rover. With 300-pound guys, like, there's nowhere to go.

You're on the goal line. You've reached your max point of forward movement. right like you can't do anything and you can't engage them too early you can't block them you can't drive block them past the line of scrimmage because then you got guys down field just like on the screens so that's not easy to handle plus you factor in their first drive of the game where they just ripped down the field i mean so tightened todd downy had those guys just dialed in i love that game plan that's a tough out for anybody if when tennessee kind of runs a table like that i know the knock is okay they can't win a playoff game whatever okay fine they slipped up

up last year, had a rough day at the office, everybody does. Yeah. But they're going to have to overcome those things, exercise those demons, and go ball. The way they did in that game, that's going to be a tough deal. That Titans team's got a Jets team feel to it. It really does. Defense running game? It's always travel.

When you're a team that you know you're not as explosive, go back to your Jets career like Tennessee last night, it kind of simplifies things, doesn't it? 100%. You just essentially, you know you're going to get a loaded box and your throws on the outside are going to be one-on-one matchups, potentially. So then it's your Brailin-Edwards, Santonio Holmes, you know, you get a one-on-one with Dustin Keller or whatever. But for the Jets, I mean, I'd love to see him do some of the stuff.

I know we're going to talk about Justin Fields, but even the design quarterback run that we see Josh Allen do, that we've seen Daniel Jones do. Tana Hill can move. But essentially it's this numbers game, right? So the same way they get Tanna Hill to fake like he's doing an audible and they snap it directly to Henry. Moving the quarterback outside, hopefully you draw one defender away,

and now you have perfectly even numbers inside, either eight on eight or nine on nine. But when the quarterback's in the backfield and hands the ball off, there's essentially somebody on the defensive backfield assigned to the quarterback more or less, but he doesn't block anybody. So now you have one more than the offense has, right?

So it's just simple math stuff, right? So anytime you just hike it to the back, or hike it to the quarterback and let him run and the running back blocks. Now we're completely even across the board. Advantage offense because we know where we're going. We got a little momentum, whatever. I love it when teams are doing that. Baltimore does it plenty.

I mean, the teams that let the quarterbacks run a little bit, I could see the Jets doing that. And bottom line for this game against Belichick and the Patriots again, like their offense isn't some explosive offense up in New England that you got to worry about them scoring 35 points, right? Like, that's not really their blueprint. They're trying to figure it out still. And the Jets defense is just locked down.

That sauce gardeners, I mean, Laverteus Cole says change his name from sauce to gravy. Because I want gravy on everything. Max getting heat. There's a story breaking today that a lot of people are out on him and do you want to defend him or what do you make of the criticism? Here's the problem. Like, I feel like Brian Hoyer might as well just call plays for them.

He's probably the most qualified offensively. I'm dead serious. No, no, that's interesting. I'm dead serious. serious, this is no knock on Joe Judge, but he's a special teams guy, right? Like, if you had to label him, he's more of a special team's guy. Patricia is more of a defensive guy. Coach Belichick, defensive guy. He could probably call it if he wanted to, Bill, but, like, who has the most offensive experience? Zappi's a rookie. Like, you want for your second year quarterback to have a

special team's guy, defensive guy, like calling plays for you? Not that they can't do it, but calling plays is not like riding a bike. I'd take you outside right now in the park. calling on calling. I hope to God you guys can just get on a bike and start riding around. Play calling is rhythm. Play calling is rhythm and timing, sequencing, eliminating mistakes, thinking in advance of your quarterback, knowing when you're going to go for it on fourth down. Like, I know play callers that can look at their sheet on third and short knowing it's a fourth down call, and they're not even watching the play. They're just ready to go for the fourth down call. My thumbs on the call. Boom. Somebody tell me in the headset, if we got it. We got it? Okay, good. I got my next play. Let's roll.

we didn't get it. All right, we're dialed up on the fourth down right away. So the quarterback's not looking back. Like, are we going for it? What are we doing? That takes so many reps and so much experience. And you're asking a defensive coordinator. Listen, I'm not saying that they couldn't be the best play caller of all time. They could, but it takes so long to do it. And if you've got two guys who haven't done it consistently over and over, it just makes it tough on a second year guy.

So that's the toughest part. Now, if they're calling plays for Tom Brady, it's a little different. Right? I mean, that guy has experience. He could probably call it himself. Right. But I don't know. That's just, that's a really tough spot for Mac, and they're still trying to figure it out. So I was fooled on Donald and Wentz. Very talented, reckless. Zach Wilson has some of that. Really talented reckless. So this league likes you to be aggressive as a quarterback.

Joe Burrow, aggressive. They punish you for reckless. Correct. So right now, Zach Wilson straddle in this line. Sure. Right? Tight roping across Niagara Falls? He is. He's straddling, and it's more often been reckless than just aggressive.

Can you coach it? I always had this argument. Can you coach out reckless? I think you can. And my personal philosophy, everybody's got their own take on this, but I'd rather say, whoa to the quarterback than pull the reins back than sick him, right? And I've mentioned that on the show before, but it's true. I want him to have that stinger.

I want them to have the awareness, more importantly, the awareness of when to pull out the stinger and, you know, step on someone's throat and end the game. End the game. Or no, when the game is in flux, and this is the last possible opportunity we're going to have to fit it a camel in a matchbox. I mean, the tightest window, you might have, okay, fine. You got no separation, boom, jump ball, Justin Jefferson, end of the game, the one-handed catch. Kirk knew what was going on, right? He knew the game is on the line. I can afford to cut this ball loose right now, right?

If anything, they're trying to teach Kirk Cousins, hey, when Justin Jefferson's covered, he ain't covered. If he's doubled, he ain't covered, throw him the ball. So they've had to retrain his mind because he's so, you know, a little more analog than digital that way, just boom, boom, boom, I'm going to roll through my progressions. Well, Zach's the opposite. And now it's coaching out the two bad interceptions.

I'm okay, the one he missed on the tight end. they're on the wrong page. We talked about this a couple weeks ago on a shallow cross route. Fine. A miscommunication, I'm good with that. But if you're going to roll outside the pocket, slam on the brakes, in the dead man zone, outside the numbers, and stand there and try and throw a ball on a defensive team meeting,

no way. Literally throw it out of bounds, flick it out of bounds, kick it out of bounds, fall down, anything but that. And if you can coach that out of them, the kid is absolutely deadly. Because when it's time to use the stinger, that boy's got it. Like, there's no question. When it's time to go and take them off. off the leech and let him run, go.

He can do it. So last week you did Lions Bears. Bears had control of the game. Oh my gosh. It was game of the year other than the Buffalo game. It was great. Like in the same window. I was like, great, thanks. What is the thing, give me some stuff on Justin Fields

where you're seeing growth, where he's got to grow. What did you see? Well, I loved, I really do love what Gets he's doing. He's making the most of what he has, right? And good coordinators. You install an entire play but then you major in what your guys can really go with. Adding a big receiver in Claypool, I think, is huge.

I think they could still use help in the receiver department to help him out. But making sure, you know, Herbert, I think Herbert just went down, but Herbert and their other running back, Montgomery, like those guys are going to take the bulk of the load, but don't forget, the QB can run now. He's 6.4 and a half, maybe 6'5, and he can really fly on third downs. He has the most rushing yards and first downs than any quarterback like in history.

He's got more rushing yards than anybody in the league. I mean, he ripped off like a 78 yard touchdown run after a crucial interception. So then on the interceptions, it's on screen passes. Same thing with similar talking about Zach Wilson, right, dialing these guys back. He looked like a rookie on that play, Justin Fields. He looked like a rookie because the screen got sniffed out by Hutchinson. It was a little tight end screen. Hutchinson gets in the way of the throw.

Now, if there's a defender in front of you on that throw, let's start here. On all screens, if you have a clear line of sight to the receiver, it's a dart. You throw it right at them. Fastest way possible, get it to him. If there's a defender in front of you or any color in front of you, you want to give him more of a free throw.

But Justin kind of double clutched and then tried to throw the free throw, and he threw it way too far. So it's dart. free throw or dirt the sucker because you're down in your own territory. You got the lead. You got everything. And then he throws it to Akuta. Boom.

Pick six. Boomering ball. Touchdown other way. Then he rips off the 78 yard touchdown and kind of negates it. But if you eliminate that one mistake, I mean, the kid is just so special. You can't tackle the guy. I mean, if you put us, here's what they were trying to do. They nickel pressured him to his throwing hand side to force him to get out to his left.

Just so they can cut the field in half for the defensive back. so they know when these plays, the second part of the play, they know that the receiver's only going to go one way and follow the quarterback to the left side of the field and shut down half the field. They're trying to do something. Like, that's just admitting on the defensive side, like, hey, we're not going to be able to corral this guy.

We're going to at least try and better our chances. But it's so hard with guys like that. Yeah. So there's a story. It's been suggested with Aaron Rogers that, Oh, boy. It's been suggested. I thought we were being positive.

Well, it's been suggested that, okay, Minnesota's on fire, Green Bay, season's over. With the NFCE, if the Giants win this week, Dallas, you're not making the playoffs. Seattle's on fire, surprising San Francisco. Very unlikely that the wild card team's going to come out of that division. Could you go to Aaron and say,

I want to protect you? We need a better draft pick. We've got to see if Jordan can play. And we can take it? and we can trade him. We got to see if he can play. Can you go to him? And say you want to tank it?

No, to say, Aaron, we don't want you hurt. You're going to be 39 in a week. And play Jordan Love? Yeah. Oh, dude. I don't know about that. You don't think so? I don't know.

I mean, they're still in all these games. It's not like they're just getting wiped off the map. They play Philadelphia next. They get boat raced. And Aaron gets sack four times with a bad thumb. Can you go to him and say, bro, we do not want you. hurt. You're 39. I mean, Philly's coming off a loss too.

They looked a little more vulnerable in that game. You don't buy it at all. I mean, sitting Aaron Rodgers, I don't know if that's the answer. If they're going to make the playoffs, as grim as it may look right now, if you're still trying to make the playoffs, you can't sit the guy. You just can't put 12

on the team. Well, they're not a playoff team, though. I don't know. I mean, this NFC looks a lot like it did for us in the AFC in 2009, where we went to bed one night thinking, we're out of it. We lost to Atlanta. And then three other teams lost two weeks before the season was over.

And oh my God, we're playing the Bengals at home with a chance to get in the playoffs and play the Bengals again. Let's say you lose to Philadelphia. Then you're four and eight, four and nine. You're going to play in those last four or five weeks? You don't think it's possible. Then we'd maybe talk.

Okay. Then we maybe talk about it. But that's not going to be easy. That's the worst. Life's not easy. Well, here's another one. Here's another great one. Let's just talk 49ers. This team's loaded.

Garapolo, let's say they come back, win the division. They already beat Seattle once, beat him again. They win the division. They're not a number one seed, but this team travels well, defense one game. And they end up in the NFC championship again. This team loves Jimmy. They love him. The hell do you do with Trey Lance?

Oof. By the way, Trey, you know this. trainees reps. He doesn't play enough football. In the last three years, yeah, no. It's just, I think it's a situation where there is value in just saying he wins and my guys love him. I think San Francisco's in a weird spot. I don't think Green Bay is in a weird spot.

Yeah, but San Fran has, I feel like, better problems than Green Bay. You're going to have to like move on potentially from this Hall of Fame player and that's always weird. Yes. And could send you into this spiral if you don't. let's say they miss on the next three quarterbacks. Chances are you do, right? Chances are the quarterback doesn't pan out. Right.

So now what? You know, so I think Green Bay is in a different place. I think San Francisco is living in the moment the way they're built to win right this second. Right. And they're going to ride that sucker out and almost like, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Sure, sure. It's going to be awkward. But boys, let's just leave that elephant, exit, you know, that elephant right out of the room, keep them in the circus tent.

We'll handle it at the end of the year. Okay, so maybe the most interesting game of the week is Dallas going to Minnesota. So I want you to go back to your career. So Minnesota comes off the game of the year wildly exhausting. Okay. Then you come home and it's not an urgent game because Green Bay lost. The division is yours. So go back to your career.

There are those games, one or two a year. They're glorious wins. But you had like 84 snaps. And I could see Minnesota coming back. home and a desperate Dallas team. I think they're going to knock them off. Go back to your... Sometimes we think sometimes we think all wins

are good, but that game was so electric for Minnesota? No, I think it gave them so much confidence that they're going to be riding so high. I think because of the games you're talking about in my career, the guy who was a part of that was Kevin O'Connell. He's now the head coach.

He was in our quarterback room. So he knew after we went down on Monday night, Dustin Keller catches a huge pass. Braylon Edwards catches the game winner up the sideline. The dolphins are in their orange junis. Chad Henny's playing. We're going back and forth. And we end up winning that.

But you're feeling good about what just happened. It was just exhausting. And the coaches kind of take care of you. But they really put the emphasis on the mental reps that week. Maybe a couple more walkthroughs. Maybe instead of 12 play, racks of plays in a period for offense and then a period for defense. Cut them down to 10 or 12 or 10 or 8.

And then the last four walk-through plays, you adjust the tempo and speed of practice. You really emphasize, hey, I'm going to give you an extra hour of sleep. Don't blow this and go out the night before. Let's just be smart about it and stay on our track. I think Kevin O'Connell is so cognizant of that. He's so aware. So, listen, there are plenty of distractions, though, right?

The gloves and the sleeve from Justin Jefferson are now on display in the Pro Football Hall of Fame just from that one catch. You know what I mean? It's stuff like that where it's just, is it everything? No. Is it something? Yes, as you always mentioned, right? It's something.

And there's a lot of extra something. Kevin taking a shot at 12 men on the field when he did his little press conference. I'm still trying to come up with plays that beat 12 defenders. He's like, we'll do our best with that. I was like, okay, Kev, talk your smack, boy. Okay, you got by the way, before we let him go, you have Panthers. Lamar Jackson's may not play. Yeah, a little shaky today.

it sounded like they're saying illness, but it sounds like he's going to be good to go. We're supposed to talk to him, hopefully tomorrow, which means, you know, it'll be an interesting matchup. USC UCLA, I'm going to take USC UCLA. I am going to take USC close. I have fears that USC could end up watching a lot of the game, the offense from the sideline is Chip Kelly dials up. They know exactly what they want to do against USC.

Keep Caleb off the field. run the ball, which they do. I mean, you know exactly what this game's going to look like when UCLA has the football. I think it'll be a high score and affair. I think I have so much respect for Chip. Got to go with the alma mater, of course. What are these games like?

Well, I just love that we're both wearing the home jersey, burning a timeout, you know, and at the Rose Bowl, that was one of my favorite moments is we get down near the goal line and Sark calls me over because we obviously don't have coach the quarterback, but we have a wristband. He goes, hey, I'm getting ready for wristband. you know, red, 34, whatever.

He goes, you ready to throw your 30th touchdown pass? I said, hell yeah. He goes, tell the boys there's blood in the water, man, let's go. So I ran back in the huddle. I said, all right, guys, don't laugh. But Sark showed a whole shark video, like a shark week video the night before. Yeah. When there's blood in the water, sharks know what to do.

So he said, we got them on the ropes. We got them on their heels. It's blood in the water. Go tell the boys. So the guys in the huddle were kind of laughing. I'm like, hey, man, I'm just relaying the message. But let's go. Damian, you're ready to catch this touchdown.

and he goes, hell yeah, let's go. And you did. So we threw a touchdown on the very next play, but those were like, you know, things you dream about growing up. Was it the biggest regular season game? Oh, it was awesome. The Rose Bowl is such a unique venue.

The San Gabriel Mountains behind it. It's going to be pretty weather, and it's awesome. And the crowds all split up. It's perfect. It is perfect. It is so. Cardinal and powder blood. I mean, it's beautiful.

It's beautiful. Unbelievable. I'm going to go, you know, everybody's predicting. It'll end up being 17, 13, 13. My guess is it's in a 40-6. It's in a 40-37, 37-34 range. Kind of a last team with the ball, wins.

It's going to look a lot like the Utah game, I feel like. I feel the exact same way. Hopefully we just end up with the ball last. Yeah. Good to see you, ma'am. Great. Thank you guys. He's had a toasty year, simmering. It's like a campfire. Don't get too close. Attractive. Smells great. Don't get too close.

With a bonus World Cup headline. Oh. A little tease. That's what they call in the industry of teas, Colin. Oh, all right. J-Mack with the news. No, no, no, no. Turn on the news. This is the herd line news. All right, so we got a weird, breaking-ish story.

So we know the NFL has moved the Browns-Bills game to Detroit due to this snowstorm. I don't know what they're, thunder snow or whatever they're calling it. But some of these pictures are being posted. We got some on the screen here on social media. I mean, the stadium is unbelievably, and it's under, under snow. They're calling for maybe five feet of snow. But Colin, there's now question, when is Buffalo going to leave for Detroit? They were supposed to maybe leave today?

Doesn't look like that's happening. I don't know how they're leaving tomorrow when this is going to keep coming down. So there's all this speculation on social media that it could be dicey for them leaving. Now, they play also next Thursday Thanksgiving in Detroit. So maybe they just go for this game and stay. It's a little wacky. Bills have canceled practice for today. So a lot of, we've had a lot of coaches come through here.

And they don't like when there's upheaval of the schedule and random stuff happening. I don't know. You sniff at a Cleveland Brown's upset here? Well, when it was going to be played in Buffalo, I love Cleveland and eight. Now it's going to be indoors. I would take the bills. But they're off their travel schedule, the practice schedule, all that thrown in. I don't worry much about that.

I think if it was going to be played in that outdoor weather, I loved Cleveland. But now it's just a track meet, and I got better players. I mean, if it's a track meet, Buffalo, Buffalo off a disappointing loss is going to clean it up. Sometimes you don't know what you don't know. Buffalo, you go to Detroit. The team rallies are. around each other. The schedule's weird. Teams get closer. Chemistry's great. You take a lead. You play downhill. I think Buffalo could play back-to-back great weeks. Again, you'd be, it's like you.

They call it rallying. You ever go with boys to a Vegas trip and you play three rounds of golf in two days in the heat? You rally. Now, you get home and you're shot for four days, but you kind of rally in the moment. I was thinking you were going to the late nights in Vegas and you've got to do what's called boot and rally, which is vomit, clear the system out, and then you're ready to go the next day at the pool. I don't know what that is. You don't know boot and rally, huh? Okay. Well, you learn something new every day. All right, let's move on to the Rams. Colin, ooh, what a disaster defending the Super Bowl crown. It's over. They will not be going to the playoffs. Three and six. Cooper Cup, out on the IR. But Err Donald, he's not worried. The team just has to keep on fighting.

Just play. You just got to play. You know, there's a, obviously, a lot of things ain't going our way. Nobody want to be in this position, but we're here now. You know, all we can do is keep playing. So, yeah, it ain't a good season. You know, obviously we ain't getting it done. We ain't playing good enough as a team. So, you know, obviously you want to fix those things and trying to find a way to win some games and stack something. But the only thing you can do now is control what you can control

and just play the game. Can't control health, Colin. They have been banged up. Now, remember, during the Super Bowl run, they were super healthy last year. Everybody healthy, starters, offensive line. It would be much better if they just sort of lost all of them but they don't have a first round pet.

Now they do have a second and a third. But I will throw this out there. I would consider moving Jalen Ramsey to get back in the first round sweepstakes. Is there somebody at the top of this pick that doesn't need a quarterback? What's a team that doesn't need a quarterback but desperately needs a number one corner of the bad teams? We're talking about them a lot today. So Seattle has one really good quarterback, the young guy they got. What if they said we'll give you Denver?

first pick, which is top 10, give us Jalen Ramsey. So now you got Jalen Ramsey, the good young kid out of, I think, UTSA, who's playing great. And Kobe Bryant, they have another corner that's, so you'd have three great corners. Now, that's when... Rebuilding the Legion of Boom on the fly? I'll throw you one. Detroit. If Detroit says we have golf, we've hit on multiple draft picks, Hutchinson, Amaran St. Brown, Swift. Akuta's playing well this year. Akuta's playing well. And just say, what we need is a great shutdown. So, a Kuda can be R2 in a division that has Justin Jefferson.

Yeah. I mean, you've got to figure out somebody if I'm Detroit, I got Justin Jefferson. I got to find somebody that can get on him. Well, they also kind of need a quarterback. You know, is Jared Gough at home? Is Gough a foxhole guy? Why are you going to be like that? He got to a Super Bowl.

Why am I always defending Jared Goss? Sean McVeigh went to a Super Bowl, okay. Oh, what, golf was just luggage? You didn't count a little? He made some nice throws. Remember when he out dualed Mahomes? You're giving Gough a lot of credit for that. I mean, listen, he was a very good quarterback in that system.

Come out of the system. What have we seen? At home? Anywhere. Did you watch last week? Who won that game? Was that Jared Gop? I mean, they were down 14 in the fourth quarter.

Justin Fields throws they were really dumb. When the game was over. Okay. Went down when the game was over. That's my kind of quarterback. This guy loves the guy who leads in the third quarter. That could be Zach Wilson Sunday. I like the guy who leads when the whistle when the game's over.

Yes. That's my kind of quarterback. Derek Off, top 10 quarterback, Derek. No. All right, finally. Brian Daibol and Dan Campbell, what a head-to-head showdown Sunday. Giants hosting the Lionsists may be a pick for you, I think, right? Did you have Giants Alliance?

No, I stayed away. I think the Lions right here. I think the Giants are going to win by a field goal. Okay, so Daibol and Campbell have a history dating back to their days in Miami, and Daibu has reflected on it for when he interviewed Campbell for a job in 2000. Tony said, hey, I got this guy, I think would be good. I just, you know, why don't we interview them? You don't, you know, you take care of the interview.

So I interviewed Dan. It was a great interview. I mean, he's slamming chairs on the ground and hitting walls and going through all these drills. And you guys know him. He's a fantastic person, great family. And it was an entertaining interview. knew a lot, obviously, very passionate, tough as nails, you could tell. But, heck, he was out of breath and half that interview stuff he was doing.

It reminds me of when I was interviewing here at FS1. Very, very intense. We were throwing chairs, trust me. It was intense, yeah. You know, I will say this about Campbell, though. One of the easiest guy, when somebody loves what they do for a living, they love it, even if they're flawed, they're just so vulnerable. put it, Dan Campbell is totally vulnerable. Here's this guy who's the biggest, strongest

guy in the league that's ever coached. I mean, he makes Vable look small. He's gigantic. He means literally gigantic. And he, look at the size of him. He towers over his defensive end. And here's a guy that lets himself be totally vulnerable. He cries. He's like, I love my team, my kind of guy. That's the guy in the league. If you had to have a beer with one dude in the league, it's Dan Campbell. One guy in the league. Oh, I think he's one of the most. most, I mean, listen, there are times I'm like, Dan, bring it down a notch. Yeah.

You know, like, like. You wouldn't pick Belichick as the guy to have a beer with? No, he's cranky. He wouldn't have time for you. He'd mumble. I couldn't understand what he said. I wouldn't want to live next door to Dan Campbell because I bet he's got a really nice yard. That guy looks like he takes care of his shrubs and his grass and it's super green.

And he's taking out the trash on time. And if you step on it. Or your dog poops on it. Oh, big trouble. By the way, I've noticed my dog loves to go poop on all the yards where they say, don't let your dog poop here. Because it's like the nicest grass in the area. Yeah.

What's the move there? What do you do? Do you just say no? Or do you just, obviously, you pick it up? But is it a bad look to have your dog pooping where there's signs don't poop here? Well, yeah. I mean, I think when I see that sign, we detour. I mean, do you let your dog just, do you walk your dog or does your dog walk you?

They got the win on the road against the Raiders and Eagles coming off that bad loss. The headline will be, who's your daddy? Philly Spanks Indy. I like the Eagles to bounce back, Colin, let's not forget, okay? This is a Matt Ryan-led Colts team. He was sacked the most in the league.

He was fumbling the most. Led the league in turnovers before he was benched. And now, because of one week and Jeff Saturday making a couple rabble-rousing speeches, the Colts are suddenly good. This line was nine and a half. It came down to six and a half before, you know, the big money guys came in and said,

I got to take the Eagles here. Colin, I know that Goddard is out. The loss on the defensive line with Jordan Davis on the field for 81 plays. some very not great stuff for the Eagles, but I trust this team to go on the road, get the job done, and reassert themselves,

best team in the NFC. That was a good headline. Tomorrow's headlines today. I love Dallas this week. Cowboys Vikings, what say you? I think we're something like 87% when we agree on picks. The headline will be, I'll be DAC.

Prescott terminates Vikings. Dak coming off. I like the shades there. Dak coming off a suspect performance against the pack. Had a couple bad throws. But let's remember, they led by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. And by the way, Minnesota Vikings, I don't want to use the word lucky because Vikings fans will get angry.

But Colin, seven straight wins by one score? I know. Did you notice there were four fumbles in the Bills game? Four fumbles in Bills Vikings. Who recovered all of them? Minnesota. On a one-off, yes, you can get a little bit lucky. Just a Jefferson catch on fourth down.

I like the Vikings. I'm not taking anything away from your team. I think they're a playoff team. I think Dallas goes on the road. Micah Parsons is a guy to watch. They were missing Anthony Barr last week, so Parsons wasn't rushing the passer. He was dropping in a coverage.

Anthony Barr back, he's your coverage guy. Parsons going to get after Kirk. Give me Dallas to win outright. Tomorrow's headlines today. This will be a yuck fest. Gross. Rams and Saints, I won't even watch it. Okay, we'll do Rams and Saints. We can skip over the Jets Patriots,

but we'll come back to that one. The headline for Rams and Saints, Marty Gracious. Saints make a toufe out of L.A. I hope I pronounce that right. I've never been to Mardi Gras. But I like Andy Dalton, who somehow kept his job over James Winston. Goodness.

Andy Dalton's been bad. But this is more about a fate of the Rams, Colin. I don't know if McVe can turn this around. No Cooper Cup. I saw a stat that he's like 32% of their entire offense. I don't know how they score. I don't know how they move the football. Now, maybe the defense gets to Dalton and he, you know, screws up and the Rams steal this.

But I like the Saints here. This line feels short, only a field goal. I'm taking the Saints at home to, to pick up an easy win over a Rams team that is reeling. Okay, this next one, I can't wait to watch this game. Every time they play, it's really good. Tomorrow's headlines today, the Chiefs riding a three-game winning streak.

Chargers kind of desperate. Desperate is the key word of the week. The headline will be Boxer Chiefs. L.A. Get support stops Chief's streak. A little wordy there. Listen, there's a stat of the week right now. Patrick Mahomes in November and December, is unbeatable, Colin. He has won 24 straight games in November and December.

At some point, right? That's got to end. I think this is the week the Chargers. They're all beat up. The Chargers injury reports coming out here in the next hour or two. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams have been practicing. That is massive. Bosa obviously will not play. But Justin Herbert's kind of been spotty for a little while because he doesn't have any weapons. The Chiefs, they're talking about a big running game this week because their wide receivers are really beat up. Chargers always play them close. Justin Herbert is a big underdog. has been great. I think the Chargers pulled a big upset at SoFi.

Tomorrow's headlines today, another yuck fest to watch, but I'll be interested. Commander's and Texans, I think it's we got ourselves a little upset here. You don't like watching Taylor Heineke? Not enjoying it? The headline will be no more Heineke's

Washington's hangover settling in. Taylor Heineke, the new star of Washington. Now, I'm not saying he's losing his job to Carson Wentz. Look at him on the airplane, Colin. He's the new Kirk Cousins. By the way, the Vikings were not happy with this video celebrating. But listen, Houston, as bad as they are, they got to the red zone six times against the giant. Six.

They really outplayed them for long periods. Lovie Smith, just what are we doing? Settling for fuel goals and the turnovers. I think Washington's a little overvalue. Like, Taylor Heineke is an underdog. Give it to me, right? Underdog by 11 against the Eagles. He's not laying points on the road?

Like, I know Houston is not very good, but I think in this spot they can keep it close. Maybe win outright. I'm kind of rooting Washington, so I'm betting the Texans. Colin, I would rather see Washington in the playoffs than Aaron Rogers. Chase Young should be back this week. This is the week they're expecting him back. No official word yet. We're going to Foxborough Baby Jets on the road against Balichick and the Patriots. Here we go. I think I'm 4-0 picking in Jets games this season on headlines. So can I make it five? The headline will be Chicken Marsala, Revenge is a dish, better served cold. Yes, sir, Rob. I'm the only guy on an island.

Look around the internet, TV, radio, podcast, anybody at all taking the Jets here? There's just everyone on the Patriots, and you're backing Mack Jones. Colin, I'll take you back to that Jets Patriots meeting. Mac Jones, pick six, 173 Jets. Penalty brings it back. And the Jets, of course, implode after that. We showed you the Zach Numbers, Wilson earlier. clean pocket. He is an above average quarterback. The question is, can they protect him? Patriots lead the league in

pressure rate, which is scary, but Belichick off a buy at home, one and seven against the spread. I don't know what that's about. I think it's about he gets too much credit and too many points off a buy. Interesting. You know, I mean, not that you're saying against the spread, doesn't mean he's one and seven losing, but he is given too much credibility off a buy. I think you're on to something. Andy reads a creative guy, he is amazing off a buy. And you look at some of these numbers, some of these efficiency numbers, the Jets are a better team than the Patriots. So I'm taking the Jets to win. This is their season.

So Monday, if I'm in here celebrating Monday, it's going to be a good Monday. Finally, the other football, the U.S. men's nationals team begins their journey Monday against Wales. Tomorrow's headlines today, the U.S. men's national team in the World Cup. Here we go, baby. So we're not going to just do whales. we're doing the overall World Cup for the U.S. The headline will be red, white, and blue. Best finished since 2002.

Love it. A little rhyming. Now, they reached the quarterfinals in 2002. It was a great run. And Colin, I know they're the youngest team in the field, but if you look at the matchups they have in group play, they're slight favorites against Wales. They're favored against Iran.

They get the job done. Two wins. They will advance. And then you're looking at who are they going to play in the knockout rounds. It's likely the Netherlands, which is a tall. all order. They haven't lost a game in 2022. If somehow they wind up against, say, Ecuador or

Senegal, I think the U.S. might be favored in either of those matchups. There's an opportunity here for this team to get hot. Nobody really knows what to expect out of the forwards. Everybody knows Pulisica's the guy. Colin, young teams are booming bust. I'm riding the boom here. Now, I'm probably

speaking a little bit with my heart, but I have bet. We've talked about some World Cup bets. Over three and a half goals for the U.S. and the World Cup. Over. Yeah. And I'm going to give you something on England. I got a stat here. England, I know everybody loves them. Last six matches as a national team. I've read about this. O'3 and three. Yes. So little, you know, there's a lot of pressure on this team, the most since one of those Beckham teams, probably about a decade ago. The English team, there's a lot of, there's always conflict, there's a lot of ego, the EPL. Oh, it's, you know,

the English Premier League is the revenue monster. Yeah. In college football, it'd be the SEC. It's just the revenue monster, the most watched, distinctions. disgust. There's a lot of pressure on England. Listen, they have the most talent, no denying him, way more talent than the U.S. and almost any other country. But there is an opportunity for England to maybe slip up U.S. slides in. I think it's time to get excited. Very good job.

We had quite a week. We had quite a week. So tomorrow, USC, UCLA, Lincoln Riley stopped by. I think it's a wild shootout. I think both LSU and USC, Brian Kelly, Lincoln, Riley will have great teams next year. I think both are good, and these teams eventually lose.

But I got to tell you, I said it earlier, I love the transfer portal. You don't have to wait two and three years. Nick Saban's first year at Alabama, they lost a Louisiana Monroe. That's the way Nick Saban, it took him like three years to win at like Michigan State. The new world is you get the right coach.

That's why coaches are going to make more and more. you get the right coach in college sports, you win now quickly, especially with big brands. So I'm going to take the Trojans close.
