Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth. Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey,
Starting point is 00:01:15 or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the I Heart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:01:32 Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok's podcast network on TikTok. On the Look Back at it podcast. From 1979, that was a big moment for me. 84's big to me. I'm Sam J. And I'm Alex English.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors. Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Thanks for listening to The Heard podcast. Be sure to catch us live every weekday from 12 to 3 Eastern, 9 to noon Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and FS1. Find your local station for the herd at Fox Sports Radio.com or stream us live every day on the iHeartRadio app by searching Herd. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. You know, we were talking about this. It's amazing what a great draft class can do. The Seahawks aced both tackles on a shaky offensive line and Kenneth Walker, and it's literally transformed their offense. And the New York Giants went out and got Kavon Tibadel.
Starting point is 00:02:47 They're calling him the closer in New York, Evan Neal on the offensive line, Wendale Robinson, a wide receiver. It's amazing. All now crucial players. So the Giants, one of the surprises, I'd say that the surprise in the league at 5 and 1, based on the last 10 years, and they beat the Ravens, down, come back, and here is the Instagram. Kvon, Tibado, the rookie from Oregon. Here's his Instagram after.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Man, y'all can see my emotions going crazy. We did it, man. We had met life, man. I love it. I'm happy to be here, man. Go Big Blue, baby. He is now joining us live, the closer for the Giants. So now you're a California guy
Starting point is 00:03:27 And then you go up to Oregon You stay in the West Coast And the Giants call your name And I remember when I moved east I was older And I really loved the Northeast I love the people I love the history
Starting point is 00:03:39 Kvon Do you feel like a New Yorker What's it been like the transition for you? I mean it's been a blessing I just moving out here now We're kind of moving into that fall And in the wintertime So it's getting real cold out here
Starting point is 00:03:53 But I'm excited everybody's been real hype about the game. MetLife has been crazy. And we've been pulling out some crazy wins. So I'm excited to just keep going forward. You've got a rookie coach. So you're creating a new culture. The one thing I will say, the Giants have some really nice players up front defensively.
Starting point is 00:04:11 You are like the missing edge, the edge piece. Do you feel, you tell me when you walked in, how do you gain the respect of guys that have been on that defense for several years? How do you gain the respect? you just got to put the work in. I feel like me coming in, I've already had a big name, and there was big expectations being drafted so high. And all I have to do is really go put the work in and show the guys around me that I was willing to do what it takes
Starting point is 00:04:36 to contribute to the team. So you watch Lamar Jackson on television, and then you come up with the play at the end of the game. Is it kind of surreal to get your arms around Lamar Jackson, who was an MVP two years ago? I mean, it's definitely a crazy moment. I think back to being in college and being in high school, really watching him and seeing everything he's did. So now just being able to play against him and kind of get that respect from, you know, from the offensive guys, it's definitely a crazy moment.
Starting point is 00:05:07 So your game plan against the Ravens, and I've seen it a lot this year, Kvon, is really aggressive. Wink Martindale, go after people. How does that fit your style? You know, just being able to change it up, give them different looks and keep, you know, applying pressure on the quarterback. That's the biggest thing. You know, keep offensive lying on their toes. You know, when they can work together, they're doing really good. But once you kind of separate them and get them on islands,
Starting point is 00:05:33 you're able to kind of take advantage. And I feel like Wink, you know, does a great job scheming that up. What's the biggest difference, college to pro for you? I would say, you know, not only just the speed of the game, but just how intentional everybody is. And, you know, guys can step up and make plays. And, you know, you never really know, what play is going to, you know, matter the most.
Starting point is 00:05:54 The intensity of New York, there's a lot of media, they're on you. Have you felt like if you walk up the street in New York, do they know who Kavon-Tibodeau is? Do you feel that intensity of New York? Because it's not Oregon. It is really intense. I would definitely say, you know, I'm getting a lot of shine. I'm getting a lot of love from the fans and the people around. And, you know, it's definitely a crazy feeling, just, you know, being noticed and going
Starting point is 00:06:21 at different, you know, sporting events and people, you know, wanting pictures and things. like that. So it's definitely a great feeling. Sequin Barclay's been a big part of that offense. If I asked you who are the two leaders as players on the team that you kind of look up to a respect, like who are
Starting point is 00:06:39 they and why are they the leaders? I mean, the crazy thing about it, I feel like there's a lot of guys who could really be in this conversation just because the way we all kind of, you know, have a high level of importance and pride into the game. But I would say, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:54 Dorrie Jackson is one of them. Obviously, Daniel Jones, Sequin, Dexter Lawrence. I mean, just the list can go on to guys who just, you know, do it the right way and really respect the game. So for young guys coming in, it's been really easy for us to get acclimated, you know, to the team and to the ways of the NFL. Brian Daibol, I just see him on the sidelines. Tell me a little bit about the rookie head coach. Many people think now he should be coach of the year. You've gone through a lot of coaches, high school, college pro.
Starting point is 00:07:23 What's his thing? What's his secret sauce? He's a player's coach. He knows that, you know, rara and false statements or whatever are not going to get guys going. You know, we like authenticity. We like real. And he's a guy who does everything, you know, through the eyes and for the players. So we have a lot of trust in him, and, you know, especially with the game plan and everything that, you know, goes into it.
Starting point is 00:07:46 NFL seasons 30, 35 percent longer than a college season. So much, Kavon, for guys like you, is taking care of your. yourself. You're a businessman now. You're a professional. Was that an easy pivot for you from college kid to businessman professional? I would say yes. For me, it was definitely easier, you know, because the routine is the same, you know, taking care of your body. I would say the days change, you know, the workload changes, but just still applying yourself and using those same, you know, 24 hours a correct way and then just knowing how to compartmentalize business and other things you've got to get done. Do you ever go to any of your defensive line team?
Starting point is 00:08:24 teammates, do they help you? Is it kind of give me the relationship? You come in. You're much younger, four, five, six years younger. Do you lean on them? Do you lean on coaches to grow? How do you do it? Yeah, I lean all in on the players from Leo to Dexter Lawrence to Mordae-Hones. I mean, I've kind of leaned on them from day one to really help me get to where I am. And so I even, you know, I credit them to help me, you know, make the plays that I'm able to make now because they've been such a tool and such a resource to be growing. Well, he recorded a game-clinching strip sack of Lamar Jackson on the final drive of the game. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the former Oregon duck is, what a class.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Evan Neal, Wondale Robinson, Daniel Bellinger, the Jets and the Giants, by the way, both ace the draft and it has shown on the field. It must be a great feeling. You want a lot of games at Oregon. But you're part of like a change now, Kvon. Like this was a losing franchise. Now it's a winning franchise. The vibe at practice is what?
Starting point is 00:09:31 I mean, it's just, it's exciting. Everybody's happy. We're all, you know, ready to go to work and we know that, you know, we do have something special. And as long as we continue to do the work and continue to be humble, the sky's the limit. All right. At the Jags this week. Great senior, Kavon, Tibado, the New York Giants. Thanks for coming on.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Thank you. Thanks for having, Colin. Yeah, I was at, I don't go to many parties in L.A. I was at a party not long ago, and Kvon walked in, and he looks the part. That's a professional athlete. And he, like on the field, he looks kind of thin and lean. And then when you stand next to him, you're like, oh, that's a rush end in the NFL. The NFL professional athletes are different.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And he is exactly just that juice, that closer on the edge. How about New York? How about New York sports? Jets. and the Giants, led by their deep, we still don't know if the quarterbacks are the right guy, we think the coaches are. I like both GMs,
Starting point is 00:10:28 but it does show you Seattle, the Jets, and the Giants. You ace a draft and you bring in three or four new guys that are playmakers. You can turn this around really fast in this league. You know, you should take some credit for this, because I remember in August you were banging on New York and I sat over here as a born New Yorker. I was like, geez, coward, there's a little over the top, but you were right at the time, right?
Starting point is 00:10:48 Giants of Jets were disasters. Yankees hadn't won. I don't think they've been to the World Series in like a decade. I mean, the Jets haven't made the playoffs in 11 years. Along the streak in the league. And now they've both turned it around. Yeah. I mean, it's so much of this league is just quarterback coach.
Starting point is 00:11:05 You know, if, like in New York, we thought Zach Wilson had the talent. We didn't know about Sala. Now this morning, it's like you feel good about Sala, and they're not really letting Zach Wilson throw to him. I mean, if you really watch what the Jets are doing, he had 18 attempts. they're telling you, listen, as he grew up, Mark, Mark Sanchez nailed it. As he grows, we want to keep the reins on him a little bit. He's got a little, you know, he's got a little lack.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Sometimes his lack of disciplines fairly apparent in year one. So the giant, the Jets are telling you, we're going to win with defense and special teams, and he's talented enough to go over the top a couple times. But 18 attempts tell you, that tells you what the Jets view from their personnel is their, their strengths. Special teams, defense, and the occasional over-the-top big play by Zah. And I believe you told me yesterday that in your, what, six years doing the show here in L.A., maybe seven? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:56 The Jets have never sniffed the herd hierarchy. I don't think they have. Ever. I mean, they've been really bad for a decade, like putrid for a decade. And now... Is it sustainable? We'll see. I think the giant is...
Starting point is 00:12:07 I absolutely believe the way they're winning. They're not going to win the rest of their games, but I think coaching, situational football, great pass rush, schemes at half, lean into Barclay. I think that's fairly sustainable. And they're all beat up at receivers. So they're getting healthier over the course of time. I mean, let's think about this real quick. Can the Giants in a down NFC, is there a way,
Starting point is 00:12:30 is there a path for them to maybe get to the Super Bowl? Like, is that in play? They don't have a single receiver over 200 yards. You got to have some juice. Like people being on the Vikings, the Vikings are a lot like the Giants. The difference is they've got two huge perimeter playmakers. Right now the Giants don't have one.
Starting point is 00:12:52 So you have to play perfect football. I mean, the Bengals are totally flawed. But Burrow, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, you can be flawed when you can score quickly. But like the two best teams in the NFC coming in, Packers and Bucks really do not look good at all right now. Well, Philadelphia, though, adds the dimension of a big play offense. So like what Philadelphia does and the Giants don't, that's a big playoff. The Giants have to play a certain way to win.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Philadelphia is playing a certain way, but I don't think they necessarily have to play a certain way. The more you look at that Giants team, Colin, if Daibald can get a quarterback there, that's a scary team. Because they got a young nucleus on both sides of the football. They need a quarterback badly. Be sure to catch live editions of the herd weekdays in noon Eastern 9 a.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio, FS1, and the I Hard Radio app. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun,
Starting point is 00:15:25 thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes. Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of tontons and wampas on the ice planet hot, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith Rule of Two. Listen to stuff to blow your mind on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Starting point is 00:15:51 Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what you're thinking. What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast. I'm Sam J. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about cracking the A. To be clear, 84 was big to me, not just because of crack. I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know. I mean, at this point, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table right now. Thank you finishing that sentence.
Starting point is 00:16:32 I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app. Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. J-Mac with the news. No, no, no, no, turn on the news.
Starting point is 00:16:51 This is the herd line news. Let's start with Thomas Brady. He's taking some heat this week for attending Robert Kraft's wedding on Friday than losing to the Steelers on Sunday. One person who has Brady's back, of course, Michael Irvin. You know, Mike Irvin wants the Bucks to rally around their quarterback. Here's what Michael Irvin said. If I'm on that football team, I know that my quarterback is going through stuff personally.
Starting point is 00:17:16 The national media is ripping him for going to the wedding. That would make me all that much more want to huddle around my quarterback and say, hey, they're being unfair to him. Let's make sure we step up and do what we need to protect him. I'm not in that locker room saying, I can't believe he went to that owner's wedding. I can't believe he missed the walkthrough. I'm trying to comfort Tom Brady. And I would agree with Michael Irvin, Colin? except that Brady F-bombed the whole offensive line on national television
Starting point is 00:17:42 when Brady was the one not playing well, missing the walkthrough, not traveling with the team. Like Michael Irvin, I mean, well, I think Brady maybe compartmentalizes and sees those as two separate entities. Going to a wedding is one and barking is another, and he doesn't connect the Saturday practice with the barking or with the wedding. That's those are three separate things. The wedding, the meeting, the barking.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Like he just says, those are three separate things. Don't put them together. We are assuming not being at the Saturday meeting is why they lost. You know, if you watch the Bucks play, and I do, they miss Ryan Jensen the center so badly. Their tackles are fine, and they lost all, they lost guard, center guard. Ryan Jensen was a top five center and you cannot lose. I mean, the Chargers last night were on their third. center. What happened? They're driving, holding call.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Like, there's a reason the Chargers went and spent a fortune on the center. Outside the left tackle, that guy's calling the audibles. And so you lost a... Jensen was fantastic. Top 2-3 center. He's gone. If the Chargers didn't have Corey Lindsay the rest of the year, I don't know if they make the playoffs. With him, I feel strongly they will. But accountability, Colin, okay? So if you look at that Brady tape from the Pittsburgh game, he was missing passes.
Starting point is 00:19:05 He was not on. is there anyone in that locker room that's going to point the finger at Tom Brady during film session say Tom, what's going on here, buddy? Okay. I don't know the Bulls is doing that. Well, that organization shouldn't. They were a flimsy, underachieving, but talented group.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Tom arrived. They won a Super Bowl. Tom gets final set. You can't call them out. So that's what happened with the Lakers last year. Nobody in the film session was calling out LeBron, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis. It was not happening. And what happens? The team implode.
Starting point is 00:19:34 They're terrible. You've got to have accountability for Brady. Remember, he didn't like it, but Bill Belichick was calling him out in film sessions for a decade. Giselle went and complained to Robert Kraft about this. You've got to hold your stars accountable. I don't think that's happening in Tampa. I think you need to pamper your stars at all the time. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:19:51 Of course. Says the big star of the network. Yeah, right. Jalen Hertz, he's off to a great start leading the Eagles to a 6-0 record. Before their game against the Cowboys, DeMarcus Lawrence warned everyone to wait and see how Hertz would perform. against this nasty Dallas defense. But even now that Hertz has the win, Lawrence isn't giving him any praise.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Here's what DeMarcus Lawrence said. He's a good quarterback. Would I say he's elite Tom Brady level yet? No. But I feel like he did a good job with his offense Sunday. Yeah, there's no reason to comment. He does a really good job, and you have to face him again in about two months.
Starting point is 00:20:29 So I wouldn't... Don't poke the bear. Yeah, what's the point. Jalen's doing a lot of things right. That's what I know. And he's taking the lead. And I don't know. He is, when I watch him, I can feel the leadership.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Locker room, viral videos, sidelines. I like him. And he's different. And also like Josh Allen, he's made a huge leap year two to year three. Well, I hope to get A.J. Brown. Yes. Decent receiver. They've always had good tight end there.
Starting point is 00:20:59 That's never been their issue. J. Mack. Oh, wait, we got one more. Hold on, Colin Barclay. Sequin Barclay has been a key component to the giant success in their 5-1 start. After missing most of the last year with the torn ACL and dealing with the ankle injury, he's finally back. His odds to win comeback player of the year were plus 1,500, according to Fox bet.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Now he's the favorite. Minus 250 six weeks into the season. Colin, you making that bet on Sequin Barclan? Well, I mean, I think the Cowboys can't lose C.D. Lamb and the Giants can't lose Seekwan Barclay. I do believe the Eagles are deep enough. They could lose some of these components. Yeah, I mean, he's been absolutely valuable. And to the credit of Brian Dable, they're using him.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I think he led, I don't know if he leads now, but I think last week he led in, like, touches or attempts. Like, unlike Green Bay, who just doesn't give the ball to Aaron Jones enough, giants are the opposite. Anytime they get in crisis, that's their guy. Well, the Packers think Aaron Rogers can make the throws. I don't think Dable trusts Daniel Jones to make the throws, right? No, that's part of it.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Yeah, Jay Mack with the news. Well, that's the news. And thanks for stopping by. The Hurd-Ly News. By the way, NBA season starts tonight. Golden State is hosting the Lakers. I saw this. Six players on the Lakers are already on the injury report.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Dennis Schrooter's out for a couple of weeks. Hamstring issue with Russell Westbrook. I think, unlike baseball, where there's like half the league can't compete, I think the NBA has got a ton of depth. Now, the bottom four or five teams, Utah is going to tank because there's two fundamentally, foundationally transcendent players in the draft this year. So the bottom of the league like Utah, Oklahoma City, is going to be awful. But there's only about three of those teams.
Starting point is 00:22:53 San Antonio, Utah, Oklahoma City. They're all trying to get one of those two players. But I would put the NBA to me, I did this a couple weeks ago, in tiers. I think Golden State in the West and the Milwaukee Bucks are in Tier 1. Cultures, stars, depth, shooters can score inside. That's Tier 1. Tier 2 are teams that could win the championship probably need a break. Clippers, Celtics, Suns, Sixers. I think the Clippers actually match up so many versatile wing players, a good coach, nice bench.
Starting point is 00:23:28 to me it feels like the Clippers are the one team that could match up with the Warriors and be a little bit of a headache. And then in Tier 3, these are teams that will make the playoffs and certainly good enough to win a playoff series. Memphis, love their coach and their culture. Miami, Brooklyn, Denver, Cleveland. So much fun. Donovan Mitchell, now that's going to be interesting.
Starting point is 00:23:51 The T-wolves, the Pelicans. Who did I see there? What logo is that? That's the T-wolves. I'm missing one. The Pelicans. Oh, Mavericks. Mavericks.
Starting point is 00:24:03 That's the Mavericks. My bad. Yeah. Make the playoffs. Certainly win a playoff series. I don't see them as finals teams. As you know, the Lakers are missing from that. They're over-under is 45-half wins.
Starting point is 00:24:18 I think that's incredibly generous. My prediction on the Lakers, they'll lose tonight and they'll lose to the Clippers. But the NBA stacked the Lakers' scanners. but the NBA stacked the Lakers schedule to make them viable at the break. So as long as AD stays healthy and LeBron stays healthy and Patrick Beverly stays healthy, they'll be a fairly formidable team until the break. Then the schedule stiffens. It's an old team.
Starting point is 00:24:43 They'll have injuries. Darvin Ham has the surprise element early. He won't after the All-Star break. And I think it's a 41-42 win team. But it is interesting that I, They worry about their health. It's an old team later in the season. Six players already on the injury report.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Be sure to catch live editions of the herd weekdays in noon Eastern 9 a.m. Pacific. This is Steve Kavino and Rich. And together we are Kavino and Rich. Kavino and Rich. Starting point is 00:27:01 and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan,
Starting point is 00:27:25 so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes. Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith Rule of Two. Listen to Stuff to Blow Your Mind on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your problem. podcast. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Starting point is 00:27:54 Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what you're thinking. What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast. I'm Sam Jett. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s. To be clear, 84 is big to me not just because of crack. I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know. I mean, at this point, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
Starting point is 00:28:29 We also have AIDS on the table right now. Thank you for finishing that sentence. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Over 31,000 businesses, confidence they need because of NetSuite, one-of-a-kind flexible financing, lent suite.com slash heard. All right, Big Dog. What do we got? What do we got there, J-Mack? Big Dog. But we're going to call it, believe it or not. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:06 So you're going to give me a stat. And I have to guess if it's believable or a grift, a con. It doesn't matter. it? Wow. Deep in your vocabulary bag today, Colin. All right, let's start with Maddie Ice. Matt Ryan led the NFL in passing yards in week six. Believe it
Starting point is 00:29:27 or not. You know what's funny this morning? I looked at the NFL standings. The Colts are three, two, and one. How is that possible? They've been terrible. They beat the Chiefs. We forgot about that. They came back to beat the Jags. Matt Ryan led the NFL in passing
Starting point is 00:29:42 yards in week six. Well, they got into a shootout. I believe it. Correct, Colin. Believe it. I was all over the Jags, Maddie Ice, 389 passing yards. Michael Pittman did a lot of the damage. Some other random dude caught the game winner. The rookie from Cincinnati.
Starting point is 00:29:58 I don't even know. I don't really know his work. But Matt Ryan leads the NFL. This is staggering. How are the Colts? Three games of 350 or more passing yards this season. So when I say Colts, we all think it's a tire fire. In the weakest division in football, there are three, two, and one.
Starting point is 00:30:16 His arm's going to fall off by Halloween. There's no way Maddie Heiss can keep this up. All right, next up. Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle both finished top five in receiving yards in week six. Believe it or not? This is why I keep telling you, I think Miami's got really special players. I'm going to say, I believe it. Believe it.
Starting point is 00:30:40 There it is, Colin, 2 and O. Well done. Tyreek Hill led everybody 177. Waddle had one. 129. Waddle had a couple drops. He's had some dropsies in Miami. They're not thrilled with his work, but yes, they're both doing great in Miami, which is three and three behind the jets. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Next up, Josh Allen threw for more passing yards than Carson Wentz, Zach Wilson, and Marcus Marriota combined in week six. Believe it or not. It was a low-scoring first half. I'm going to say not, not. He's all that. I was right. He's on fire. Three and O. Sorry, I jumped the gun there. Josh Allen, 329 passing yards
Starting point is 00:31:21 against the Chiefs. Zach Wilson had a buck 10. Carson Wentz at 99. Marriota, 13 to 14, but only 129 yards. Listen, there is dissension in the ranks. I think Atlanta, they don't have the record of the Giants.
Starting point is 00:31:37 I think they're the surprise in the league. In the league? I thought they were a one-in-16 team. No respect for your Oregon. Ross Ridley, and then Pitts got hurt. And then I think wasn't the kid from USC missed time. Drake London, I think he missed a little bit. How are they moving the ball? They gave that now the Niners were completely debilitated due to injuries.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Arthur Smith. Well done. Good job. All right. Next up, zero running backs in the NFC eclipsed 100 rushing yards in week six, believe it or not. Wait a time. Hold on a level. Yeah, there's a lot there.
Starting point is 00:32:12 NFC, NFC. I say not. Unfortunately, you are incorrect. Now, Kenyon Drake went over 100, but he's in the AFC with the Ravens. Breeze Hall of the Jets over AFC. Alvin Kamara, according to the stats here, 99 rushing yards, Colin. They're sandbagging you. You're really going after you, Harvey.
Starting point is 00:32:32 A lot of people didn't watch Cincinnati, New Orleans. I watched it closely. I thought it was a great second half. By the way, Cincinnati is down 10 the whole season. Baltimore leads every game. Cincinnati trails double digits. But that was a great last quarter. I don't know what to make of the Bengals yet.
Starting point is 00:32:49 I like them. Do you know their defense hasn't allowed a touchdown in the second half all year? The only defense in the league. But when I watch them, I'm like, nobody's heard of their players. Like Eli Apples, one of the more well-known players because he was a giant. I'll see that stat and raise you. The Saints were without their top three receivers and rushed for 240 yards against the Bengals. Like, is their defense any good?
Starting point is 00:33:12 They rushed for 240 yards. Anyways, let's move on. The AFC East and NFC East are the only divisions who are collectively over 500, believe it or not. Don't try to do the math. Now, when you're saying you're meaning at all the records up? Every team combined over 500. Only. I'll say believe it.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Believe it. Well done. NFC East staggering 17 and 7. AFC East 15 and 9, mostly thanks to the Jets. All right. Let's get to the next one, Colin. Daniel Jones has the highest completion percentage in the NFL. Believe that or not?
Starting point is 00:33:57 Not. That can't be true. Not. No. Wasn't somebody like... Gino Smith somehow was at the top of that list. He was at 73.4%. That will not last, as Mark St.
Starting point is 00:34:07 He just told us to one. All right, let's get to the next one. Kyler Murray led the NFC in rushing yards in week six. I think, no, that's believe it. He had 100. Didn't he? I believe it. Believe it.
Starting point is 00:34:19 He actually threw it for over 200 yards. Their problem was they were terrible in the red zone because they didn't trust their kicker. They moved the ball. By the way, they waived that guy today. DeAndre Hopkins got brought up and they waived the kicker. I'm checking the waiver wire during commercial. Do they have a kicker? I hope so.
Starting point is 00:34:34 I think it's Prater. He might be back. All right. Next up, every team in the AFC South has given up more points than they've scored. Believe it or not. AFC South, your favorite division. Hold on. Yeah, because the Colts wins have all been close.
Starting point is 00:34:52 And then they got blown out once. So I think believe it. Nah. The Jags, thanks to one big blowout, are the only team in the plus scoring margin, plus 24. Titans are negative 22 because they got slaughtered early in the season. Texans, of course, under. All right. Let's wrap it up here.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Stefan Diggs had more receiving yards than all other bills, wide receivers combined in week six. Believe it. Believe it. Believe it. He had a huge game. Believe it. And he also had two touchdowns. Diggs is dominating. And final question.
Starting point is 00:35:25 What did he have one or two touchdowns? I don't remember. I think one. Bailey Zappi's passer rating in week six was higher than any week of Mac Jones's career. Believe it or not. I'm going to say not. Nah. Well done.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Mac Jones had a monster game last year against the Browns as well. Belichick owns those guys. Belichick loves owning Cleveland. You can sense it. You can feel it. All right. That's it for us today. Tough economy.
