This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan,
so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away,
such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot,
or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith rule.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career
in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show.
This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that
not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
So let's get to it.

Now let's get this party started.
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
All right, Chris Broussard now is joining us.
I like the Celtics tonight.
I don't love anything because I think this series is really even.
I've said if Robert Williams played 30 minutes,
every game remaining, I'd take Boston
because it would limit Golden State's interior scoring.
The minute he's out, Bamadabaiou and Kavon Looney look like All-Stars.
So I think he's a huge factor.
but he's not going to play that.
He's going to play 20 minutes.
He's probably going to miss another game.
So I think I like Boston tonight.
Chris, who do you like and why tonight?
Well, look, you're right on that.
This is a hard fought series.
I pick Golden State to win it all in seven.
So they're going to be ups and downs.
And whichever team loses tonight,
many basketball observers will be like, it's over.
That's it.
The winner they'll be thinking is going to win.
That's what happens in these series.
Whichever team wins the last game,
people think is going to win it all.
But I like Golden State tonight.
I like them because they've got the momentum.
Their best player, Steph Curry,
and you were just talking about Jason Tatum,
and we can get into that later.
But Steph Curry's playing great.
Certainly was great in game two.
Had his moments in game one,
though he didn't do it during the stretch.
And the Celtics best player, Jason Tatum,
is obviously struggling.
Boston, yeah, okay, they have home court advantage.
what, they're not good at home in the playoffs. They're five and four in the playoffs at home and eight
and three on the road. They're three and four in their last two series against Milwaukee and Miami at
home. So I don't think they have much of a home court advantage. And I think Clay Thompson,
who has been bad in these first two games, to put it kindly, is due for a breakout game.
I don't know if it'll come to night, but I think in this series he's got one, maybe
two big games inside of him.
And so I like the Warriors to win the night.
And then I think Boston wins game four.
So I think we're two to going back to Golden State.
So your cohort, Nick Wright, is always so tough on Draymond Green, who by the way has a
wonderful podcast.
I am a fan of Draymond.
I think he does.
I think he's got a lot of Rodman qualities, but he's a much more skilled offensive
player, much more catalyst.
and I also think he sometimes has a temper
but really never goes too far into the weeds.
He kind of knows what he's doing.
I thought he manipulated Jalen Brown,
he moved his feet on him.
I think he's a tone setter in the series.
A lot of people think he's out of control
and could combust tonight.
Where do you land on Draymond?
Well, look, he scares me.
As a guy that picks the Warriors,
you know how it is.
We root for our picks.
He scared me in game two.
I mean, after that first technical, I'm like, dude, will you relax?
Just calm down because there were several times where in a regular season game,
he may have gotten a second technical and been ejected.
I think the rest did the right thing because none of us want to see any of the important players
taken out of these games.
But I do agree with you, Colin, that he is smart.
He's crazy like a fox, right?
And I think tonight, like there's a lot of people think Nick included that the,
The Celtics players should try to egg Dreemann on, right?
Get him out, you know, get him mess with him so he goes crazy and maybe gets ejected.
Number one, I think Drayman's too smart for that.
If he sees that the Celtics players are trying to bait him into getting ejected or getting the technical,
I think he'll love that and I think he'll go the opposite way.
Like he is the king in this series of the mental games.
And secondly, that's not Boston's game.
There's a reason when you see a really small player,
it used to be Earl Boykins when he was in the league or Mugsy Boggs
or whoever you want to say.
When they're out there, the other team doesn't automatically say,
you know what, let's post the point guard who's six two against one of those guys
because it's not what they do.
It can take them out of their game and it certainly can take the whole team out of its game
even if it may seem like an advantage.
and Boston, if they get caught up
and trying to one-up
Dreyman and mine games, right?
Then they're going to be in trouble.
That's not Jalen Brown's game.
That's not Jason Tatum's game.
So that wouldn't be wise for them.
So I think they'll just go ahead.
If they're smart, they'll just go ahead
and try to ignore Dreimine and play their game.
By the way, I'm not a big fan of Jason Tatum
with his self-doubt.
I said this a week ago.
Michael Jordan would see that.
I heard.
Michael Jordan would see that.
And you know what he would do.
Michael Jordan would say, it's in there.
He doesn't believe in himself.
I'm pulling that out.
I don't like it.
And I've watched Tatum, sometimes on the floor, I can see his self-doubt.
It's like it's manifesting.
Like, I don't know.
I'm not a big fan of it.
What do you make of what he says?
And he's brutally honest.
Sometimes I don't want you to be honest.
Yeah, look, I thought it was a wonderful soliloqu you gave.
I mean, it was entertaining.
I loved it.
I don't totally agree.
And the Kevin Durant quote was awesome, right, with Patrick Beverly.
But let's be honest, Durant has yet to show us he can lead a team to a championship.
He can be the best player.
He can go ball out when you've got all these other weapons on the floor like Steph and Clay,
but he hasn't shown as he can lead.
And I think I love Jason Tatum's transparency, but you're right, it's too much at this point.
Yeah.
Like people talk about keeping it real.
I keep it real, but I still get up in the morning and comb my hair.
I don't keep it that real where I just roll out of bed and you see me on TV.
All right, so some things need to be hidden, right?
And this is one of them.
But I think Colin is more youth.
If you look at the guys, I mean, Jordan, when did he lead a team to a championship?
Seventh season.
LeBron, ninth season.
Bird entered the league at 23 after several years in college.
The guys that, Jason Tainham's 24 years old.
In his fifth year, he played one season in college.
So the guys that have led teams of championships at a young age or early in their career
either had like a three or four year college career or they joined the team with a superstar like Magic Johnson.
He joined Kareem was the MVP.
And he joined that team that had a host of really good veteran players.
So I think this is youth.
I do think, yeah, there's some self-doubt, but didn't we see doubt in LeBron, his first
finals against the Spurs in 07, his second finals even against Dallas?
Yeah.
So I just think that Jason Tatum is a young guy who will, you can't say, like, look, he faced
down LeBron as a rookie in a game seven in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Now, he lost, but he averaged 18 points in that series, and he hadn't been a big school.
throughout the year. So I do think he's got it in him, but I think he's young, and I think these
are growing pains that he's going through. And a few years from now, if we see him back at this level,
you won't see the same thing. So I just think he's young and learning rather than a guy that
doesn't have it in him. Okay, I'm going to throw this at you. It's a little crazy town,
a little crazy town. LeBron now is twice talked about wanting to play with Steph Curry.
he doesn't love ownership or the front office
he's tied in to a bad Westbrook contract
and AD's never healthy
he is
LeBron's way too smart to just throw stuff out there
what he is he's sending the bat signal out
like you guys Lakers need youth
comminga Moody
Clay Thompson's dad lives in L.A.
I think he I think LeBron's
absolutely
very calculated and he's just letting
And everybody you know, Joe Laca, Bob Myers, you know, I am available.
I really do.
Chris, I think he's sending that out there for a reason.
Your thoughts.
You're not way off.
I mean, I do, and this is not inside information, but like you said, LeBron is too smart.
He knows every little thing he says and does is going to be hyper-analysed.
So, yeah, I think he put it out for a reason.
And he's been, I mean, it's one thing to, like, compliment.
an opponent, no, he's great.
We know what he can do and this and that.
He is glowed.
He is just fond over Steph Curry, all right,
at the All-Star game and all that.
So I don't, I'm not saying he's like definitely dying for a trade.
But yeah, there's something to this because we know he wants to win another championship,
if not more.
And he knows if he played with Steph Curry, it's probably over.
Now, I don't think LeBron is.
a tremendous fit there because LeBron tends to become the system wherever he goes. He's gotten
off that a little bit these last couple of years. But he is still so good, such a great
passer. Steph is still so good. And the other players that they have, a few they'd be
to keep if they had to trade, that they would figure it out. And I do think they would win the
championship. I'll say this too, Colin. And I don't mind LeBron being this way. I've never killed him.
when he went to Miami or Durant when he went to Golden State.
But when you talk about goat debates,
this is one thing people will point to.
And I'm watching Magic Johnsons.
They call me magic, right, on Apple TV.
And Michael Jordan is in it.
And he says, you know, when he first faced magic in the championship,
I'm ready to, you know, I was ready to go to the mountaintop.
I'm paraphrasing, but, you know, magic was on the mountaintop.
I was ready to get there.
And he said, I didn't want to go around magic.
I wanted to go through magic.
And a lot of people, when they talk about the difference between Jordan and LeBron, will say,
Jordan, I know it was a different era, but still, he wanted to go through the competition, the best.
Whereas LeBron, D. Wade and Bosch, Kyrie, and Kevin Love, for that matter, now Anthony Davis.
Now he's he wanted Kauai.
Now he's putting it out there that he might want to play with Steph.
Like that's a difference wanting to go through the best competition
and wanting to join and play with the best competition.
So that's something people will point to a little knit to pick,
but it'll be brought up.
Oh, yeah, on shows like ours.
Chris Bruce Sart also has a radio show.
Great one with Rob Parker Everyday Fox Sports Radio.
Good seeing you, buddy.
You too.
Okay, I told you my trade.
Clay Thompson, if I'm the Lakers, I want Clay Thompson,
I want Jonathan Cumminga, a draft pick and Moody.
Why would Golden State do that?
Well, that's a good question.
But I'm just saying from the Lakers.
Yeah, the Lakers would love that.
Well, actually, I don't know that the Lakers would love that.
I don't think the Lakers are in the moving off of LeBron James business.
Well, I'm not saying maybe, I'm just saying if you give me Cumminga and Moody,
I got two potential high-end starters.
Also, LeBron is a free agent after this year.
I know.
I'm just throwing stuff out there.
I'm just saying a big trade.
Yeah.
Big trade at the trade deadline.

Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years
for black people in American history.

Welcome to my new podcast, Learn the Hardway with me,
your host, and your favorite therapist, Kear Games.
And in recognition of mental health awareness,
in this month. I'm bringing over a decade of my own experience in the mental health field and conversations
with so many incredible guests. I'm talking. Trip Fontaine, Ryan Clark. Sometimes when we're in
the pursuit of the thing, we get so wrapped up in the chase that we don't realize that we are in
possession of the thing. And we're still chasing it. And we don't know when we've done enough.
Because people scoreboard watch. Life becomes about wins and losses. Steve Burns, Dustin Ross,
because you find it important to be a good person while you hear on earth,
or are you a good person because you're afraid?
Because that's two different intentions, bro.
Absolutely.
And that's two different levels of trust.
I want you to just really be a good person.

Getting a lot of feedback on that vest thing.
I also think, Joy, I've got this Laker Warrior trade.
Why would the Warriors do this trade?
Because if they lose the finals and Clay doesn't play well,
you know how executives are?
They get very impatient and they're young guys.
Maybe Jordan Poole doesn't play well and they think.
But that's just not a, they're not a sell-off panicky.
I know.
Lakers are.
Well, one of the teams is.
Right.
Lakers will sell.
This is an amazing trade for the Lakers.
Especially considering LeBron is going to be a free agent,
could just walk.
Good point.
Joy with the news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
Jemond Green, he's a bit of an enforcer.
He's certainly the physicality of that Golden State team.
Yes.
And he said he couldn't live with himself if he didn't bring it every game for this team.
That is my department.
That's where I'm supposed to lead, and I can't let my guys.
down. Get to the NBA finals and physicality and, you know, meeting force with force is important.
And so it's just something that you have to bring to this game when I watched a film and even just how I felt.
I just didn't think they felt us enough. And you can't get to this stage to, you know, to this level.
And the reason you lose is because a team didn't feel you.
He said he grew up watching people like Rashid Wallace, Charles Oakley, Dennis Robin, and Gary Payton.
And that's who he wants to model his intensity and physicality after he did get into it with Jalen Brown were showing right now in game two, but was able to avoid getting a second technical foul.
Well, he's not just physical.
He's a great defender.
Like he's not one of these guys that's physical and that's what it is.
Like it goes way beyond that.
No, no.
I think, I think Draymond's reputation.
kind of gets a little out of control as most things do.
Narratives sort of spin the reality of the situation.
He is a physical player and a good defender
on top of the fact that he is a disruptor
and a bit of an irritant to the opposing team.
He has four technical fouls through 18 postseason games.
According to NBA rules,
you are automatically suspended after picking up seven technical fouls
in a single postseason.
He is very aware of this,
considering the fact that he got suspended in that series against
LeBron and that many people would argue led to them blowing the 3-1 lead.
So I don't think he'll get that close to this.
I also don't think the Celtics are a particular reactionary team.
They're not an emotional team.
No, that's fair.
Marcus Smart can get a little hot.
No, no, but Marcus Smart is the defensive player of the year as well.
So he can, but he's also, I don't see any of them as like guys that will just blow up.
That reaction from Jalen Brown is about as explosive as you're going to get from the Celtics.
So from that perspective, I don't think that they're going to get into a situation where technical fouls would be flying.
They are a good defensive team, but that's different.
Like there are younger teams tend to be more emotional or teams that just have bigger personalities.
And then you could run into a situation where that technical foul, you know, count could tick up.
Warriors and Celtics, game three tonight in Boston, Warriors are currently three and a half point underdogs,
according to Fox bet.
You like the Celtics minus one and a half in the first half.
Yeah, that's my bet.
I think the Celtics lead at half.
Third quarter, the Warriors are the best third quarter basketball team in a decade.
So I'm not betting the whole game.
I do think the Celtics are going to come out with a lot of intensity and physicality in this game.
They're going to be at home.
It's going to be rowdy.
They were also, that's as bad a half as they have played since the All-Star break.
They're going to come back with a lot of pride tonight.
They're going to play a really good.
I think it can play a really smart, thoughtful, intense game.
So D.K. Metcalf was not in attendance for yesterday's first day of Seahawks' mandatory minicamp.
Mandatory. Got to be there.
Got to be there.
Tom Pelliserra reported that the absence is considered unexcused.
So he's set to enter the final year of his rookie contract with a base salary of $3.99 million.
He did undergo foot surgery in February.
He had 75 receptions for 967 yards.
and 12 touchdowns last season.
Pete Carroll said May was optimistic that the receiver
and the team could get on the same page.
He has outperformed his contract.
He's got very much a Des Bryant thing.
I don't love all his game,
but he gets into the end zone a lot.
And I like that a lot.
Well, the bit of leverage that he has in this situation
is he is their offensive weapon now.
Yep.
So when you move off of a Russell Wilson,
who is obviously a massive playmaker,
and you're running it with Drew Locke,
you need somebody out there who is consistent that you can rely on.
So he's well within his scope and results to be demanding a contract and be in this situation.
Now, if you're looking at some of the deals that have been made for number one receivers this offseason, Tyree Kill, four years, 120 million.
Devonte Adams, five years, 140 million.
AJ Brown, four years, 100 million.
All three deals are with new teams.
I would say, though, if I'm the Seahawks, I know they're in a rebuild.
You have seen some results from D.K. Metcalfe.
You got to pay somebody.
No, they're not paying their, well, they're paying their safeties way too much.
Right.
But you do have to pay somebody.
And you are in the market for a young quarterback.
Well, I will say this.
They just drafted two offensive tackles.
And they went and drafted a star running back.
So, and they're going to have a rookie quarterback.
Right.
So Seattle could argue, this is an offensive league.
We're not paying anybody.
Right.
Duane Brown now, the left tackle, they just went and got Charles Cross.
So their tackles now, big savings.
I think they need to move off a lot of B running backs.
I think Kenneth Walker is going to be great.
So their argument is probably Seattle.
Who are we paying?
Right.
So that argument is the best, and it is a receiver weapons league.
That's the best argument for him.
But I know what he wants.
He knows.
His number is going to go way down with Drew Locke.
And he's like, I don't want to be negotiating off a 48 catch season.
He's in the best place right now to negotiate,
and I think it would not be a bad move for Seattle,
especially now that you're going to move into next season with a young quarterback.
Don't you want somebody who's locked in who's comfortable,
who's been in the system that you can walk right in?
Maybe you'll convince me.
You know, throw two.
Maybe I'll switch allegiances.
That's not a bad.
That's a pretty good argument.
They're not paying anybody.
Why not pay him?
And by the way.
And you're rebuilding.
You're going to be a mostly young team.
And they're paying $3 billion to their safety.
So they're up against the cap and they're safe.
I mean, seriously, who pays safeties like the Seahawks?
It's remarkable.
So Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma to become the head coach of USC.
Oh, yeah, that was a big story.
Yeah.
Things going well.
It's kind of a big deal.
And he recently addressed the rumors that the Sooner's departure from the Big 12 was what fueled
his decision to leave.
He said, I heard the whole SEC narrative.
To me, the SEC has nothing to do with it.
It's all about the program that you're at in the position you think you can get to.
Oh, so at USC can get to.
Oh, so at USC can get to higher heights.
I think that's obvious.
Oklahoma and Texas are expected to join the SEC in 2025.
Good luck.
Obviously, USC is in the PAC 12.
They're not going to need luck.
The last time a Pac-12 team won a championship was USC in 2004.
Didn't they win a few of them?
NCAA inappropriately yanked one.
A PAC-12 team hasn't made the college football playoff title game since Oregon after the 2014 season.
That was the year of the college football playoffs.
inception. Did you see the spring game for USC, how fast they were and how agile?
Washington's the only other Pact 12 programs reached playoff back in 2016.
They finished four and eight and three and six in conference last season. They have big
expectations this year. And moving forward, I don't think that this had anything to do.
Well, okay, let me say this. I don't, nothing is everything, but everything is something.
There may have been something. You may have thought about it one night on the way home.
So it is something to consider when you're talking about the scope of how.
how successful you can be with what you have and where you are.
You know, I told you my theory is that he looked at Texas and thought,
Jimbo and oil money, Sark and oil money.
Yeah, you also have NIL.
NIL.
And now I have to recruit the South.
And those schools have all been recruiting the South forever.
And I can go out and dominate West Coast recruiting and cherry pick an occasional Texas kid.
I think Oklahoma, and this is a top five program ever,
I think Oklahoma is going to have a bumpy, turbulent next four or five years.
Well, I mean, you can't argue the NIL opportunities at Oklahoma compared to USC.
Different economy.
So there's that.
I drove a dollar bill to work today.
We got nothing but money out here.
I mean, we are just, I mean, we are streamlining.
Everybody's got a bank at their house.
I mean, that's the way it is out here.
We're done.
We're done.
Well, that's the news.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap
Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking. What the hell does George
Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out
on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam Jett.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here,
unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode
with Mark Lamont Hill
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me
not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day,
but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point,
Mark, this is the second episode
where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

Trip Fontaine, Ryan Clark.
Sometimes when we're in the pursuit of the thing,
we get so wrapped up in the chase
that we don't realize that we are in possession of the thing.
And we're still chasing it.
And we don't know when we've done enough.
Because people scoreboard watch.
Life becomes about wins and losses.
Steve Burns, Dustin Ross.
Because you find it important to be a good person
while you hear on earth?
Are you a good person because you're afraid?
Because that's two different intentions.
bro. Absolutely. And that's two
different levels of trust. I want you to
just really be a good person.
Join me, Kear Gaines, is we have real

pressure cooker. Some
quarterback names out there. Is it a low pressure
year, chill? A little bit of pressure
on you or a ton of pressure
on you as a
quarterback. Our quarterback pressure
cooker, Joy, here we go.
How much pressure does Trey Lance have going
in this season? High pressure. Shanahan
is a winning culture.
They beat the Packers in the playoffs
with Jimmy Garapolo.
He's 22 years old
and he's had a year now to get ready.
Over 400 days.
And again, this coach wins games with every quarterback.
So if he struggles, it's not on Kyle.
It's on Trey Lance.
I think there's real pressure here.
How much pressure does Jalen Hertz have?
Medium pressure.
All his critics, he got him to the playoffs.
The concern with him is there are accuracy issues.
He's got to get better at that.
He cannot complete 59% of his throws.
He has to get Jeffrey Lurie and Nick Sariani to believe he can get in the low 60s.
It can't become like this is what he is.
He's a low accuracy quarterback because in this day and age, that's a hard place to be.
But I do think getting to the playoffs bought him, and he is productive, it bought him some space.
Carson Wentz, how much pressure?
High pressure.
This is his last shot.
Jim Hersey said it was a huge mistake.
he's under 500 as a starter his last four years.
And Washington, I mean, they are, he's got an owner issue.
It's not a very good division.
So it's not like one of these you finish second or third and you get a pass.
You got win that division.
I think they have the best defensive personnel up front in the division.
So I think there's real pressure on him.
And let's be honest, a good franchise said no thanks.
So this is it for him.
Aaron Rogers.
I think it's low pressure.
He got his money.
the Packers weren't aggressive. He's got nothing to prove. This could be his last year. I think he looks
comfortable and feels comfortable. And he's got a Super Bowl. His legacy rings. And they'll probably
be favored to win the division they are actually. So I don't sense a lot of pressure. Justin Fields.
Probably somewhere between medium and high. It's Chicago. It's the Bears. So there's always pressure.
But they've been so bad at quarterback. It's not.
it's not like Trey Lance intensity.
You know, they haven't won a playoff game in 12 years.
But I do think he struggled at times last year,
and you've got to show me something.
Because remember, next year is a great quarterback draft.
And if he struggles, there are going to be some people in that room in the bears that
are like, hey, it's a mistake.
Arizona moved off their guy.
We've seen teams do that now.
They'll move out their guy fast.
I'm interested to see what your answer is on this one.
Russell Wilson.
Well, I'm going to say high medium pressure.
Here's why.
It's a rookie coach.
So if, let's say they don't win the Super Bowl, but they get into the playoffs and you
could say, well, Andy Reed, wild card team, Andy Reed, they have a new owner, they
have a new coach.
I mean, if he was going to Belichick or he was going to, and then, and he was going to, and
elite coach, a McVeigh, like Stafford had to deliver.
That is the difference with the Tom Brady move is Tom Brady went to Bruce Ariens,
no ownership change.
Stafford went to McVeigh, no ownership change.
This is two new things.
We got a lot of moving parts here.
So it's medium pressure, but it is a good roster, so he's got to win.
So it's a high, medium low, low, high, high medium.
There's just pressure.
Derek Carr.
Medium pressure.
He did get Devonte Adams, but again, new GM.
new coach, tough division.
You know, I think if they go 10 and 7, and I think that's where they're going to be,
I don't think anybody's picking them to win the division.
I think most people aren't picking them to be a playoff team.
I do think Derek's a really good quarterback, and I do think they have,
here's where here's pressure comes from.
They got some really good offensive pieces, and they don't need to make the playoffs,
but he has to perform.
That division's rough, but he's got to be good.
he's got to put up good numbers because Hunter Renfro, Devonthe Adams, Josh Jacobs, Darren Waller, Colton Middle Left Tackle, they got really good pieces.
Justin Herbert.
Medium pressure, the pressure is high on the coach.
It's established.
He's good.
We know that.
So I think I know what he is.
The question is, are they going to become goal forward on fourth and ten team again?
So I think the staff faces enormous pressure because he was the best quarterback that didn't make the playoffs.
and I don't think anybody in Los Angeles doubts him.
I think there are some people, if they struggle in late game situations,
Brandon Staley is going to have to answer for it.
Zach Wilson.
High pressure.
Accuracy issues, wildly inconsistent.
The Jets are going to give him one more year.
But again, this is not a good team.
They probably finish fourth.
They will have a top 10 pick potentially next year, and it's a great quarterback draft.
if he continues to be talented but erratic and play hero ball,
don't kid yourself.
The Jets want to find their next name.
They'll move off.
They moved off Donald.
They'll move off him because his last year,
you got this wide variation.
Half to half.
He at times was awful and it really clever.
Now, I don't think he's got,
I think they had a good draft.
I don't know if Saul is the right guy,
but New York is impatient.
and he was just, like Sam Darnold, he was just too volatile.
So if it's another year of that, I think they'll make a decision that, you know,
we're watching Mack Jones and his consistency in the same division.
We think two is going to have a good year.
We know Josh Allen is great.
You can't have the fourth best quarterback in a division.
You've got to move on.
Kyler Murray.
Medium to high medium, but medium, he's good, it's established.
He saved the franchise.
It's established.
He's gotten better every year.
it's established. I think Cliff Kingsbury has got a little pressure, higher pressure than him,
because college and pro, Cliff Kingsbury's teams get worse every year of his career late.
And I think some of that's Cliff and not. Kyler's teams in college didn't get worse late.
So I don't sense a lot of pressure. I think the pressure with him is they're going to pay him
and he wants to perform. But I have no doubts I would pay him tomorrow if I was the Cardinals.
I said this about Lamar.
You don't pay Lamar and Kyler, who you start next year.
I don't want to hear about their passer rating and their injuries.
That was a playoff team.
The pressure is his playoff game wasn't very good, but I think we know why.
He's like, I'm going to not run much.
I'm not going to get hurt, which I didn't love, but I get.
I think that's solvable.
Pay him, and he'll put his body in more harm's way.
There you go.
Yeah, you like Justin Field, I'm not sure yet.
I have to watch.
He's big enough, strong enough, mobile enough.
I see all the physical stuff.
I think he has the potential.
To be really interesting.
Yes.
And I think, you know, that division is going to be on him whether he's successful or not.
He's clearly a hard worker and he clearly has the thing.
I think it's on the bears.
Yeah, that I don't trust.
I've always had my bear issues.
All right.
Well, I'm going to sleep on the wear a vest thing.
I'm getting a lot of people that are encouraging me,
and I'm getting a lot of memes.
And I sent Joy one.
You know what?
Make a love invest.
It's a big investment.
I've got to sleep on it.
They're hurting.
