This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

On the Look Back at it podcast.
For 1979, that was a big moment for me.
84 was big to me.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors.
Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s.
84 was a wild year.
It was a wild year.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.

You know, fans tend to always think their players are better than they are, like Dallas fans
with Dak Prescott.
That's very much the case with Bam out of Bayou in the Miami Heat.
He's a three.
on a championship team, I could argue, he could be a four.
I mean, right now the four on Golden States, Andrew Wiggins,
far more gifted than Bam out of Bayou.
Stop selling me Miami fan like he's the guy.
He is completely limited offensively.
He's long athletic and a very good defender,
but Robert Williams has totally shut him down.
And Robert Williams is a good defender?
Is he a great defender?
He totally shut him down.
In the games in this series that Robert Williams has played,
Bam is averaging less than 11 points a game.
That's not a great player.
And Miami this year had a better record when Bam didn't play.
They scored more points when Bam didn't play.
Like you've been selling me Bam as a star for years.
Bam's a guy that is a, he is the Robert Williams a little bit,
the Robert Williams of Boston,
valuable, rim protector, can run the floor.
Now, he's a better offensive player than Robert Williams.
I think he is, absolutely.
But you got to stop selling me on, this is the key to the Miami Heat.
Truth be told, if Jimmy Butler was a two and Bam was a three,
that feels like a championship team.
If you put Joel Embed on this team and he had Embeddler and,
or you put like a real, if you put Luca one, Butler, two,
BAM a three.
That feels like a championship team.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure Jimmy as a one is a championship team.
I didn't get the heat all year.
I just don't get it.
But I understand fans think their guys are great.
Bam's a three.
All right.
So that's one of the reasons I said all year.
Jimmy's not a great score.
He averages 21 a game.
He's a great athlete and a great NBA player.
He's an all-star.
Heart and soul of the team,
I'd love to have him on my roster.
But he's not Luca as a score or Tatum
as a score or Janice is a score or John Morant as a score or Steph as a score.
I don't think offensively is his gift that is Andrew Wiggins, who's like a three or a four
for Golden State.
So what this team has to do is go get not necessarily just a two.
It may be a one.
But if you look at championship teams in Miami Heat history, Chris Bosch was a three.
Chris Bosch was a 25 and 10 guy in Toronto.
Chris Bosch is a gifted offensive player.
Bam is not.
He's athletic, long, coachable, tremendous length and defensive capabilities.
But you've been selling me that he's the next M-Bed.
He's not.
He's not what he is.

Do you remember when Diana Ross
double-tap little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush
didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do a little kill?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode
where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years
for black people in American history.

Joy Taylor with the news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
Well, speaking of that, while the wheels came off for the heat last night,
and everyone has been pretty critical, the lack of star power for the heat.
Joelle Embed weighed in on the situation.
He was on Twitter last night and said, Miami needs another star.
Well, obviously, this got a lot of people very excited.
Come on down to the 305, Joelle and B.
Now, he did respond to everyone.
saying that, you know, this was an invite for the heat to try and recruit him and said,
okay, y'all are stupid.
L.M.A.O. with a bunch of laughing emojis. Obviously, Embed and Butler played together and
our good friends. They both mentioned during the series how they wish they were still teammates.
But, you know, this is, this is the observation that you are seeing with the heat, and I think
it's fair. If Bam was truly a two on this team, as he is currently expected to be, then you
need the offensive production from him, especially in the position that he plays, he needs to be
able to be dominant like that. And step up when right now Jimmy Butler is banged up and you have a
lot of the team who is struggling to shoot. That's just not what Bam is. He's an unbelievable
defensive player, but he is clearly a three, possibly a four, and they need offense. This is what
the league is. We've been talking about these blowouts all postseason. The three point shot has changed
how these games go. If you hit a couple, you can get a lead. If you miss a couple,
it then quickly becomes a seven point lead to a 17 point lead like that. And you can't
climb back in it. You're just not going to climb back in it with mid-range shots and
whatever you do in the paint. You're not capable of doing it. You have to play unbelievable
defense to climb into back into a game like that. And when you're playing against a team like
Boston that also plays defense, it's just impossible. Now, the series isn't over, but you can't
shoot the way that the heat have been shooting. And that's what's terrifying, is that they
cannot score. They cannot score. They're missing everything. It's terrible from three, 15% from
three. And it's now becoming a consistent thing. If it's one outlier game, that's one thing. But it's
become a consistent thing. Boston's had a couple of god awful quarters. But mostly you get
Tatum, your two score, Jalen Brown, Marcus Smart will give you an occasional play. So it's,
you're not that far off from each other. The different.
differences, Boston has had consistent play from their top players and Miami has not.
That is, that is the difference. Both teams are banged up. Both teams have had to deal with injury.
They're, they're, both were great during the regular season. Both are well coached. Both are
well run organizations. The differences, the stars are performing in the biggest moment and
Miami's outside of Jimmy Butler are not. And that is, that's, but I will say,
still got Pat Riley. So yeah, he's the best recruiter in the game. That's right. I feel
about how they're going to adjust things moving forward.
You also have in a winter league,
aqua water. Yeah, it's not a hard
place to pick people. This is a winter league.
That's why nobody cares about bad weather
cities. You know, Milwaukee for baseball
in the summer, it's fine, beautiful.
When you get to a winter league, that's why L.A.,
Phoenix, Miami,
all those eastern seaboard towns,
what is the one Eastern franchise
that in the last 20 years is great and free
agency, Miami?
It's a nice place to play.
It's not bad. No state tax. Aquawater.
Someone else who likes Miami is James Hardin, although he did not step up during the series with the heat,
especially in the second half of games.
And a former teammate of his, Iman Schumpert, was on Vlad TV and said he isn't surprised by Hardin's passive behavior.
Something about it are those big moments.
You just want to feel like, you know, your guy's inspired.
And I feel like in no moments sometimes with everything going on, all the noise.
I think a lot of times James is trying not to,
more like please the audience,
then go get it.
How I know he could go get it?
And I feel like that's what,
it was a little troublesome for him,
this go-round because he didn't shoot as much in the second half.
And those moments where you come down,
you pass it,
and then they pass it back to you,
you kind of get a feel like they need me to put my cape on.
He did not shoot.
His second half stats in the series against the heat were staggering,
especially considering the offensive juggernaut that he was for most of his career.
Now, he did play and Ben Simmons didn't.
I'll give him that. He did play.
He was on the floor.
That's right.
He took about as many shots as Ben Simmons did at the end of the last series,
Ben Simmons played in.
So Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers will be facing off against Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes
in the match on June 1st and both had some strong opinions about the upcoming event.
Aaron Rogers said, I know they tried to make it old guys versus young guys,
but I said, who's thought about this?
You want to just put the two best guys
against the two worst guys.
That's not just conjecture.
That's facts.
We have the experience.
Tommy's played a ton of pebble beach events.
He's played the match a number of times.
I played in Pebble and Tahoe.
We've got a decided advantage.
Yeah, Brady and Aaron are going to win this.
They feel very strongly about it.
Yeah.
I would tend to lean towards the old guys in this.
Golf is a sport where experience very much matters.
It does.
Reps matter.
So the event will be held at the win,
in Las Vegas. It raises millions of dollars for charity.
I think this is an event we're going to get some good
quotes from. Well, also, the win in
Las Vegas, that's a course.
That's a beautiful, that is a beautiful
layout. Very excited.
It's going to be fun. Yeah, joy with the news.
Well, that's the news.
And thanks for stopping by. The Hurd-Lie News.
Well, you know, Joel Clat
is, I've never been a teacher, but I do
think I would have been extraordinary in
these mentorship moments. And this
Clat, get out here. It's time once
again for the classroom.
How are you doing?
I am doing great, my friend.
I am so thrilled to be invited to Trojan talk.
You know, it's funny.
What we're doing?
It's funny.
When I talk about Sabin for a decade, nobody blanches.
Nobody cares.
Well, that's because he won the national championship every year for a decade.
Even before he did, I'm like, watch those is what's going to happen.
Okay.
I talk Notre Dame all the time.
The minute I...
Only to bash them.
It's a Midwest school, too rigorous academically.
it snows there. Why would you? I remember. I talk about Lincoln Riley, who's pretty good for five minutes. The world implodes.
Well, he hasn't won a playoff game. Oh, yeah. He won 11 games a year.
Listen, I am a Lincoln supporter, not quite to the level you are, but I'm excited for USC. I think that they've got a great team.
And I'm the one, by the way, we both take arrows on this because I'm the one that have sat here on this.
show and said, I think at some point in this first season of his, they'll be ranked
inside the top 10.
I don't think they're going to finish there.
But at some point in this season, I think they're going to be ranked inside the top 10.
So they have, I don't think they have the capability to beat Notre Dame right now.
I don't think they have been.
Notre Dame's too tough of the line of scrimmage for them right now.
And I think UCLA is the most.
They're better than people think.
Way better.
Yeah.
Like UCLA is 9-10 win team potentially.
So I think they're going to go 9-10.
I think Utah beats them, UCLA beats them, Notre Dame kind of pushes them around even at the Coliseum.
Is that realistic?
Yeah, I think that's completely realistic.
Now, they're not where they need to be on defense yet.
They're not where they need to be on the line of scrimmage yet, but I think that that's going to come.
And the recruiting will get to a point where they're not going to need this influx of transfers like they're going to on this first season.
But obviously, with the news for Jordan Addison, and they got the Mario Williams,
the wide receiver from Oklahoma.
They've got obviously Caleb.
They are loaded offensively, and we know one thing about Lincoln Riley.
It doesn't matter really how his defense plays.
He'll find a way to have success.
And he's done that for a number of years.
He did it with some really poor defenses at Oklahoma.
And this is not a conference that's nearly as deep or as good
as what those Big 12 conferences were over the last four and five and six years.
So there's no reason to believe that USC is not going to be at least near the top of the Pack 12.
No reason not to believe that.
All right.
So the other one, there's a big game.
I can't wait for it.
Texas and Alabama.
Yes.
Now, I'm a Sark fan, but they're five and seven.
They're recruiting the last two years has been very good.
A lot of those kids just didn't play because they're 18 years old.
So now you've got a Texas team.
Some of these kids now, these five-star kids are going to play.
They have the best running back in the country.
Yep.
Can they compete with Alabama?
I don't think they're beating them.
Can they compete with them?
I'm not quite sure.
Alabama is going to be so good.
And where they're going to be dominant is the pass rush.
Yes, they have Bryce Young and they'll be good on offense.
They have the best defensive player, the Edge Kid.
Will Anderson.
And he could be a top pick.
He'll probably be the first pick, non-quarterback pick in next year's draft.
And obviously, C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young will be involved in that whole quarterback
conversation.
but I went down to spring ball at Alabama,
and I was thoroughly impressed,
thoroughly impressed with not only Bryce Young,
but just the entire defensive front seven,
I think it's going to be so good and so dominant.
They're going to be the number one team of the country.
Last year, I felt like they overachieved
to get to the national championship game.
To get to where they went,
it was really about Bryce and what he was able to do,
and he carried them to that national championship game.
They ultimately get beat by Georgia.
But Nick's better team is coming back this year.
And this year, they're going to be a better team at the line of scrimmage.
They're going to be a better defense and in particular that pass rush.
So this is going to be a really tough one for Texas.
Keep in mind, though, Texas is much better this year.
They've recruited much better.
They've done a good job in the transfer portal.
And we'll see who plays quarterback for them.
I think that it might be Quinn Ewers.
But remember, he doesn't have a transfer left.
So Sarkesian's got this kind of back pocket where it's like, does he have to?
to play him right away? Well, not really, because
he can't go anywhere. Which is
kind of a nice little nugget for Steve
Sarkeesium. Okay, so, you know, Sabin and Jimbo
Fisher out there. Oh, how about that? Boy, oh, boy.
I mean, they fought worse than we do.
Yeah. It was like real. Like,
ours is tongue and cheek, but man.
So, listen, I like Sabin, but this whole
thing concerned about parody,
oh, give me a break.
That's why you play Citadel every 15
minutes. Listen, I think I said this is what fear looks like. When powerful people start to lose the ability
to control players' transferability or the money coming in, I think he's fearful of Texas money.
I think he's fearful of Jimbo and Sarker great recruiters. It's going to be harder to invade that state
and pull guys over. And there's also big oil money in Texas. Alabama's the 27th biggest
economy in America. Texas is a number two economy. And he's going to get outbid if it just comes down to
That's how it lands for me.
You don't go a long way in this business criticizing guys that have won national championships.
And in particular, a guy who I have pounded the table as Nick Sabin is the best coach in the history of this sport.
Sure.
Okay.
And I think he's better than the bear.
Last week was embarrassing for both of them, I thought.
Maybe more so from Nick.
and he's tried to clean it up.
And I know he went on Series X-M
and he tried to clean it up.
But it was embarrassing.
And it reminded me,
I've got three little boys,
10, 8, and 5.
And when we're outside
and we're playing wiffle ball
and there's not a structure of rules there
for the wiffle ball game,
guess what?
It devolves into whining
and name-calling and pointing
and just fighting, right?
And it's petulant fighting
because they don't really know
what's going on.
And then you have to,
as the parent set the guard rules for the game, guard rails for the game.
What are the rules of the game?
Or else it's just going to devolve into this mess of name-calling and petulant fighting.
Well, what we just saw, folks, was two adults in the room that have had success at the highest level,
that have had a friendship, by the way, in previous years,
devolve into petulant fighting because there's no guardrails of rules around.
around what is now the current state of college football.
You know, the NCAA abdicated their responsibility of governance over this sport,
and it has put the entire sport and every program in a really tough position.
And they could have done something surrounding NIL years ago.
And I had conversations with people.
I remember being in Indianapolis for the Combine, probably six years ago, Colin.
And I went to one of the rules committees, you know, NCAA is in Indianapolis.
to one of the Rules Committee. It was just on-field Rules Committee, but the discussion surrounding
overarching rules was obviously there. And I had the discussion with a guy that I'm going to
say will remain nameless at this point. And I told him then, I was like, listen, you guys can
take two or three steps that you don't want to right now in terms of NIL, name image and
likeness, or you will be forced to take 10 steps that you're unprepared for in the years to come.
And that's exactly what happened because they abdicated their responsibility to govern.
They reacted, not pro-active.
And they created a vacuum.
And that vacuum then has allowed this environment where we've got two guys, Jimbo Fisher and Nick Sabin, who can't control everything.
So they lash out.
And then one lashed out at the other.
And the other one got the vitriol coming back.
And then it got personal.
And it's because there was a vacuum of leadership.
Everything rises and falls on leadership.
And I know that it's in vogue to just rip on the NCA, but that's what happens.
That's what happens when you abdicate your responsibility to govern.
You create a leadership vacuum.
And at some point, we're going to have to get back to the guardrails of what rules are in place.
I know this is a long answer, but think about this.
Everyone says, and you may have said it too, and I fall guilty of this as well.
Everyone has said, there's no rules around NIL.
That's garbage.
That's a falsity.
that is wrong why because the things that are coming around nil that are making it difficult are
things like tampering things like inducements um things those mainly and those main inducements tampering
inducements those are things that there are rules around there are rules around boosters and defining
boosters so why not just enforce the rules that are on the books at this point because the the
the bastardization of NIL has taken place.
It's now an inducement and not a reward.
So now a kid busts his butt.
He goes and signs a scholarship and he busts his butt and becomes a starter.
And he creates a little bit of name, image and likeness for himself.
He creates a little name equity for himself.
And guess what?
He's not going to get a dime.
Why?
Because the collective at that school is going to be more motivated to give a player
in the form of an inducement money to get them under the roof.
Well, now we're just going to erode the chemistry of locker rooms.
So the fact remains that the adults have failed the industry.
The NCAA has failed the industry on an epic, epic level.
And the void in leadership right now is cavernous.
And when you have a void in leadership, when you have a void in guardrails,
it divulges into my 10, 8, and 6-year-old, 5-year-old,
outside playing wiffleball, name-calling, bickering, and finger-pointing
because they don't have any rules.
I've told you for years your kids need guardrails.
Well, I try to present.
them. I'm thankful for guys like you. I come on here and you give me some good defined guardrails in my life, my professional
I'm flying all over the way. You enjoy. You're kind of like, I sit here and see I'm lower than both of you. You guys sit on high. Right, Joy? And you're like, you're like, professional guardrails. This is it. Yeah, this is it. This is kind of my
game of tons. Yeah, it's like psychology. It's like going to my, you guys are my psychiatrist. I never really put it together. You're down there.
That's right. To your mentor.
Thank you, sir.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to?
do a little kill. Well, you can find out
on the Look Back at it podcast. I'm
Sam J. And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here,
unpack what went down, and try to make sense
of how we survived it. Including a
recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me,
not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day,
but just so you know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second
episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that
there's a through line. We also have AIDS.
on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Protecting against floods.
One of the reasons, four million people, trust home protection, simply safe.
Simplysafe, Collin.com.
Free indoor security camera, 20% off.
Joel Clatt joining us, the voice college football at the, uh,
Fox. All right, let me throw this one out there. Let's go. It's a little uncomfortable.
Oh, for who? A little cringy Brian Kelly, Southern Sham. What do you make of Brian Kelly?
He is a Southern gentleman. What do you make of it? It's hard, man. I like, I like him.
It is cringy. It is really when I thought he was a really good fit and was doing an excellent job. We sung his praises many times last year. I know
Notre Dame. I thought he was a really good fit. Does he fit here? I don't think he does,
to be honest with you. He may have success. If he was a stock, I would short it. Let's just
put it that way. Whoa. Yeah, I would short LSU, especially with what's going on, you know,
with A&M and how they're recruiting, with now Texas and Oklahoma on the precipice of entering
that league and near them geographically. I would short, I would short LSU.
What do you make a crystal ball in Miami? A lot of...
I would buy. We're just going stock references. I'm buying Miami. I believe that that's on the up and up. I think Mario is really good.
They have one really rich booster, but historically, it's a kind of a lukewarm fan base. It's a pro town.
Yeah, but you don't, and Joy would, I mean, Joy, you know, you know, the Miami story better than most.
They were never really, this is not meant to be a knock, fan base driven. You know, this, they were, they were, they were, they were, they,
They were an identity unto themselves.
They're talent driven.
They're talent driven.
They are passionate.
I mean, that's what they are the you.
And Mario brings that back.
You know, that identity of pride surrounding where they are, where they're from, and how
they're going to play.
And then what Mario also understands is that when that program is rolling, they are unapologetic
about the way they play and the way they win.
I like it.
And I think that's why he's going to have success there.
They got a pro quarterback, and he's transferred some kids in.
Will they be any good this year?
It's a good question.
They've got a chance.
That is a really weak league, which helps them immensely.
Florida is down.
Florida State has been down with Mike Norvell.
That helps them.
Yes.
And so, yeah, I mean, yes, I think that they can have a season in which they would define themselves as successful.
I think they can maybe get to the eight, nine win plateau.
By the way, I am.
Oh, is fair regarding Oklahoma.
They lost three good receivers, a superstar quarterback, and a great coach.
I think, though, the schedule Baylor at home, Oklahoma State, nine wins,
Vegas thinks there are a seven or an eight-win team.
Respond.
Well, you don't bet against Vegas often.
I think that it's going to be as big of a struggle for OU on the field as we've seen
since 99 since 2000 and I hate to hear that. Their down years were like stoops in 99 and obviously
down. I mean he was building something. I believe 05 they were 8 and 5 with Brett Beaumar as their
quarterback and then they had a year I believe it was 12 or 13 where they again went 8 and 5 and then
he switched and brought in Lincoln Riley. I think that they're they are going to have as as
difficult a year as they have had in 20 years.
That doesn't mean they're not going to be good.
I think Oklahoma can be good.
I can't wait.
By the way, we've got the OU Nebraska game.
Schedule and release.
We've got a few of those dates.
We've got OU at Nebraska.
Scott Frost is coaching for his job this year.
That Nebraska staff is coaching for their jobs.
Big noon Saturday, September 10th, Alabama, Texas right here with Gus and Joe.
Oklahoma, Nebraska is sneaky interesting.
A desperate Nebraska.
staff. Sorry, get worked up.
Michigan is Ohio State November 26th. Let me throw a Michigan thing at you.
Let's go. Okay. New coordinators?
You know, I've been a hardball fan, but mobility can be a turnoff to your assistance.
I kind of feel a little wobble there and an opportunity for Mel Tucker.
That, the whole thing by Hardball NFL.
With the Minnesota deal. I think there's a lot of assistance out there and players going,
I don't know if he's going to be around.
You know, I think losing those two coordinators is tough.
I think they're down this year.
I don't like him as much as everybody else.
Mike McDonald, the defensive coordinator, went back to Baltimore.
He's now the defensive coordinator.
He was excellent.
He was fantastic.
Excellent.
He built a defense that was tailor-made for the 11 guys that were going to be out there,
more specifically around Aidan Hutchinson,
who became one of the most dominant players in the sport.
They also did a great job offensively.
Josh Gattis did a wonderful job with that offense.
They had a defined style and an identity and running that football.
And they kind of mixed together this spread history that Josh Gattis brought.
Remember, he had history from being a coordinator at Penn State under James Franklin and Alabama under Nick Sabin.
And he brings this spread aspect.
And then he married it last year to what Harbaugh has been historically, this grinded out,
tough-nosed physical running team.
And they were able to have a lot of success on the offensive side.
That offense should be very talented, by the way.
J.J. McCarthy is back a quarterback.
Cade McNamara is back a quarterback.
They've got Blake Corum.
They've got Donovan Edwards in the backfield.
They got Ronnie Bell back, Andrew Anthony out there.
They're really good on the offensive side.
So it remains to be seen.
The turnover on the staff is interesting.
I will say this.
I've never been around Ohio State when they're as motivated as they've been this offseason.
That loss did something.
to them.
Oh, first of all, I don't play favorites on this show.
But Ohio State fans were getting obnoxious.
They needed to lose to Michigan.
They needed it.
They were getting, they're all gassed up on Ohio State.
Well, you're obnoxious about USC and all U.S.
is done for a decade as lose.
So what does USC need to do?
Lose more?
No, I, are you Big J journalism?
I stopped talking about USC.
But when? Which segment? Come on. You guys, here's the thing, is that all these great brands, Oklahoma's done it, Florida has done it with Urban, Oklahoma did it with Stoops, Sabin did it in Bama, and there's one other I'm missing. Michigan Harbaugh. First year, they're better than people think. Second year, they feel national title viable.
You could even say, Ohio State with Urban. Okay. So, you know, Florida with Urban. There was a lot of that.
They didn't have the transfer portal.
Yeah, listen, I don't disagree.
That's why I'm also bullish on USC.
The Ohio State piece is interesting because this offense is going to be unbelievable,
and they've got the edge back that they were maybe missing last year.
They got into themselves.
So many times in a row.
Oregon beat them.
That's right.
Michigan beat them.
They weren't that good.
You wait to see that offense.
I think Ohio State will have the most dynamic and powerful offense.
in the country, led by what I think right now,
the best offensive coach in America right now is Ryan Day.
Excuse me?
The best offensive coach in America right now is Ryan Day.
One down the street here you may want to consider.
Well, you, I mean, go look at the numbers.
How about throw this out there?
And I don't, I want.
Look at all the receivers that Ohio State is putting in there.
They're about to have a quarterback in the NFL.
How about this one?
I want an answer on this.
Don't be dodging this.
Okay, no dodging.
Let's go.
Oklahoma USC play neutral field this afternoon.
Who wins?
Oklahoma.
Big?
No.
You can't just throw it out there and not getting...
You said just throw it out.
What do you mean?
You said, be on the spot.
I just said, I answered the question.
What's the score?
Oh, now I need a score.
I mean, let's go by a point.
Like, it would be close.
Like, let's say 21, 20 and a kicker missed an extra point, of course.
All right.
Think about that.
That's how fast USC grows.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
I just couldn't do that to the OU fans out there.
They're like, you pose that question and they're like,
don't do it, clat.
Don't do it.
Hey, I still got to go back there this year.
What am I going to do?
Walk into Gaylord Memorial Oklahoma Stadium.
They're going to be like, you and coward!
You can go to happen.
You know where they're going to say.
See you tomorrow.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy,

where doping is not only legal, but
encouraged. It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's
