This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with
Robert Smygel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Winning on Clay is an art. The rallies are relentless. And at the French Open, only the toughest
survive. I'd know. I competed there for decades. Join me, Renee Stubbs, on the Renee Stubbs tennis
podcast for no-nonsense breakdowns of the biggest matches, the toughest players, and the moments that define
Roland Garris. She's an outsider to win the French win. And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lina Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now. And I,
actually can win on any surface.

Last night, a blown call changed a game.
This morning, the internet lost its mind.
And nobody's telling you exactly what happened.
That's where Sports Slice comes in.
I'm Timbo.
In every episode, we're cutting through the noise,
breaking down the biggest moments in sports
and giving you the real story behind the headline.
and we're going straight to the source, the athletes themselves.
Their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment,
and the stuff nobody gets to hear.

All right, Michael Irvin, haven't had them on in a while.
The Playmaker.
I miss you, too, my brother.
I miss you.
I miss you.
Okay, let's start in a positive note.
So I am a believer that football practice is hard.
Baseball hitting the ball.
It's fun.
Batting cage.
Basketball practice a good time.
Right, right.
Football practice stinks.
You need guys who love the game.
I watch Tyler Booker.
I'm like, I want that guy on my team.
I don't watch Interior linemen much.
To me, it's like starter day one, now they got their guards.
Dax coming off a second surgery.
Keep those feet and knees clean.
What did you think of it?
And I spoke all week, Colin, and I took my strategic approach to this.
I knew the last three, those three years,
years we went 12 and 5. We average 30, 28, 27 points, so about 28, 28 points a game.
And last year we dropped the 20. I wanted Gentile R. McMillan so I can try to put those
7,8 points back on the board. Strengthen one unit, because we had too many places that we need
to fill with players. I didn't get my playmakers, but I'm with you, buddy. I got a great
player because I always talk this game is like you talked about it's not just about skill it's also
about will and I'll give up a little skill if I know this guy got the right will and the right
excitement and one of those guys that no matter what when I come to work he's going to make me feel
like working he has the right attitude you need those guys on your team you cannot go anywhere
without them. And the way he handled that draft
shorts, when he yelled and big 300 pounds
come running, you know how hard he had to get
the fat jokers to run, and he was running for free?
I know. He wouldn't even get paid for that run.
Come on, man. Let's play. Let's stop playing. I love that attitude.
Yeah, I love this from Bill Parcell's years
ago. When he left Dallas, he went to Miami
as the GM, and he took a one-win team to an 11,
and he went and stole a few of the Cowboys,
not their stars. He went and got
weight room guys.
right passionate guys and there is just valuing guys that love going to work right you can build your
now you need stars but you win a lot of games on passion culture weight room locker room okay
now i am surprised because i like him more than jackson dart chadour sanders the steelers in his sights
and they go defensive lineman and the pain of that moment was we knew
that for years for years not just this year it's been since ben rothelisberger stepped off the
football field they've been looking and never have given mike tumblin his quarterback here i thought
was the perfect situation and a perfect opportunity to get that taken care of and you went
and drafted another lineman that was surprising because i can in my own mind rationalized
after the organizations had cheated mike tumlin of a quarterback even if my
I couldn't imagine if Mike Tomler was on the table saying,
I got my quarterback right here, he's right here for us, and they went by him.
So that was the hard take right there at 21, which is Deion's number,
to be passed for them to pass your door.
Why do you think people pass?
That blows my mind.
I don't care what anybody says,
and I don't care, you can't find anybody to sit in this chair that tells you
that they've seen a kid have that kind of.
the success on the football field.
I've seen them throw every play on the football field,
and we're going through this.
There's no way this is an arm strength thing.
There's no way this is what he doesn't run like his dad thing.
What about the story?
I don't know what this is.
What about the stories that came out this week?
Well, there's a lot of ego.
What about that stuff?
You need ego.
You need egos, especially for where some of these teams are
and for where they've been.
Some of these teams have been in a hellhole for a long, long time.
What do you think?
You're going to get the greatest, look, kindest, nicest guys to come pull you out of that hellhole?
You need people with egos.
That's what I'm talking about.
It's always the organizations that haven't won anything in forever talking about guys with egos.
You need different people to come change your culture.
Stop talking about that guy has an ego.
Maybe the ego is big enough to get you out of this heart.
Hellhole, go drive him.
That's what you need.
So I don't give substance to that kind of stuff.
Your Cowboys team had ego.
You need it.
You're walking on the field against some of the greatest athletes in the world.
If you don't believe in you, how the hell can you think anyone else will believe in you?
So you need that.
That's nothing.
And that stuff that people that don't play on the football field, those are stuff that people that wear the suits say.
People that wear the uniforms.
uniforms on the football field, they know how important ego is.
That's just stuff they're super.
So I think it'll be fine.
I would rather play him at receiver than Corner, Travis Hunter.
No.
Because I think it's more of an offensive league.
I'd rather him have 12 targets than chasing guys over the field who are decoys.
I want them in the game.
I am.
I do think Jacksonville's got a new coach, a new coordinator, new GM.
You got that toggle between, are you in the meetings?
Tell me about the meeting thing with Travis Hunter.
Is it going to be a problem?
I laugh when people say this to me.
Can Travis play both sides?
I said, are you joking?
I was there.
I saw it.
I saw Dion Sanders get off a helicopter.
Wasn't in any practice or any meeting.
Off a helicopter.
And shut jokers down.
You see what I mean?
Put him in the offensive meetings.
Make sure he gets his timing with the quarterback.
Okay.
and then tell him, we'll see you in defensive practice.
He knows what cover one is.
That's man covered.
He knows what cover two is.
That's two safeties back and we are pressing.
He knows what cover three is.
That's zone coverage with one high safety.
You know that stuff from birth.
Let's play.
Akeed Talib once told me this.
I asked him about the Patriots.
I said, oh, God, how long?
Bill Belichick, very sophisticated.
He says, yeah, by the end of the second practice,
I knew what it was.
Right, I knew where I had to be.
Right, right.
And especially like him because I got to stop that guy.
All right, I got to stop that guy.
That's why he's coming in.
This dude here is going to be, I have to stop that guy.
You're going to put him on your best guy even after he ran 20 plays on offense.
So, you –
Johnsonville was brilliant last night.
Oh, I don't like that.
I don't care what anybody says.
A lot of swings.
It's a lot.
Gave up a lot.
And you didn't know.
I don't think they gave up a lot.
They got two first rounders.
So you're saying they gave up two first round?
Cleveland now, not only did Cleveland get a first round pick next year,
Cleveland's got the first pick this morning or tonight.
Right, right.
And that's why, and right there again.
Do you think they'll take Sador?
It ended with pain, and I don't want this one to start with pain.
And I'm talking about his day yesterday after he realized he didn't get drafted.
Now you come back, Cleveland passes again, then I'm like, oh, my God,
that would throw me for such a loop.
If you can pick up a chador in the second round,
I know what people are saying.
That's because I love Dion and I do, and he's my boy, and he is.
But we've never seen anybody.
Have this kind of success in college.
That kind of success.
And watch this at the quarterback position,
and we know how important it is.
So, yeah, this is.
He was the most accurate quarterback in college ever with a lousy.
After getting beat the hell up on the offensive line.
No, we both like him.
I would pick him in the fur.
I would have taken him if I was Pittsburgh.
I would have.
They didn't need more defensive talent.
Okay.
Right.
So you talked me into Cam Ward.
I, again, I don't start the fires.
I just, I'm a journalist.
Right, right.
So I had, I suggested, I didn't know if Cam Ward could lead my franchise.
These were internet rumors.
I just laid them out there.
But I do.
I make, everybody.
I talked to said at the end of the day
he's a, I mean, a kid,
no star recruit. Right. Right.
That is actually totally impressive
to me. And it's the story you want
going around in your locker room.
Man, this dude works his way up.
You know, most quarterbacks, you guys,
they kind of get everything in the NFL
locker room. They do. You like, you like
when you hear that a kid worked
this way up, you know, and
it means he's willing to put in the work,
then I'm willing to follow him. And this
kid's willing to put it into work, man. I
I talked to Coach Crystal Ball yesterday about him.
He said, Michael, the one thing I love about him, all he cares about is winning.
And he knows how to rally guys.
That quarterback in this league and in Tennessee, that's going to be, that's going to work great.
It reminds me a lot of Steve McNair.
He does?
And he, as Steve McNair, and that city had a great union.
And I think this would be a great union also.
Yeah.
And we have to be honest about this is that Tennessee quarterback play last year,
bad.
It had 21 touchdowns
and 22 picks or maybe vice versa.
So,
Jay Mack and I both believe
they will be a playoff team
that he's the only guy in the draft
that can change outcomes.
Other guys will be good.
He could change four losses
to four wins.
Right.
It put with the right situation.
And this is the old thing too.
I like in it,
because we did the comps of Patrick Mahomes.
And I was like, okay, I love that.
The way this dude never gives up
on a play, gives you opportunity.
gives a receiver opportunity after the first place, second,
and third, you know, giving him more times within the play.
Never gives up on the play.
And I think that's going to be great.
Sometimes I used to get mad at him.
I thought he had a route on the shorter route.
He would go back in and take a deeper play.
I was like, throw the ball, throw the ball.
But he would always come out on top.
I'm telling you, Tennessee, you got one of the great ones.
Be sure to catch live editions of the herd weekdays in noon Eastern, 9 a.m. Pacific.

We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And we were thinking I'm originally...
calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

So when you watch the draft and, you know, it's interesting about character.
So Booker, Tyler Booker, team captain, great character.
Many say, well, he got drafted 10 to 12 spots ahead of where we.
thought, and my take is in an average
draft, character matters
more. And Mecca,
Abuca, Ohio State. He was a mid
second round pick when the season was over.
He gets drafted 19th.
Again, A plus character.
Could I argue
that when it's not a great draft,
you're in this league forever,
character becomes more important.
And the Cowboys, part of the kid they
drafted was,
All-American, team captain,
unbelievable. Do you think that stuff
matters more when the players aren't as great.
Well, I think that, I think it matters that you have that kind of understanding about how
important it is that you show up and be a certain way every day.
Every time I talk to anything or anybody, I always talk about, if you're a leader,
you've got to first lead yourself to be able to lead anybody else.
That's why that person, that kind of infectious personality matters, showing up, being
where you're supposed to be putting into work, letting people see you put into work.
That stuff matters big time, especially at this level.
So you're right, you're right.
And any trust me, every year we hear people that are dropping because we talk on the same character.
You know, I don't like them.
I don't like this.
Football is the meritocracy.
It is always love.
If you can beat somebody on the football field, you've got a position.
But the real rest of life, the rest of life, the rest of the rest.
of life, people are making decisions on who they like and who they don't like.
And when we get in these draft rooms, we're dealing with a lot of people, not football.
We're dealing with the rest of life people.
People that are making decisions on who they like and who they don't like.
It's not just about football.
So you're right.
Character really matters.
Where do you want to see Dallas go with their next pick?
So they went and got Interior Al line.
They could use a back.
They could use a tight end.
or do you want to see them go?
Where would you like them to go?
Right.
My philosophy has been build one unit to be dominant.
If we're not going, if we have all of these spots that we need to field,
we're not going to be able to fill them all.
Let's build one unit and be dominant and win this way.
And that's the offensive unit.
And the help we got with Tyler Booker, that's the right area.
We needed help there.
That's the right spot.
Let's stay on the offensive side.
Okay.
You see what I'm saying?
That's what the bears are doing with Caleb.
Right.
Let's stay on the offensive side.
Let's try to get this to a 28-29-30-point team every game,
and we can fill in on defense.
And we can put it together on defense now.
Here's the caveat to that.
We have to get Michael Parsons signed since we are filling in on defense.
Now that we got DeMarcus Lawrence out in the locker room,
we need Michael Parsons in the locker room.
in training camp, not holding out to try to give whatever guys he got on defense together as one
so they can try to play good defense when we give them 30 points.
They just got to hold people under 30 and the office give you a 30 and we can be right back in the thick of it.
The Hall of Famer, the Playmaker, Michael Irvin.
It's always a pleasure to see you, my man.
Always great to sit in this chair and just kick it with you, my brother.
Jay Mack with a news.
Jay Mac.
Turn on the news.
This is the Herdline News.
Love the sight of Michael Irvin fired up.
Like Tyler Brooker.
That's right.
All right.
Let's get started with the top of the second round, which kicks off tonight.
Shedur Sanders available.
Will Johnson available.
Jaylon Milro still out there.
We have a list of other notables on the market.
You want to take a look?
Yeah, I do.
You know, there's a couple quarterbacks here.
Tyler shook.
I'm not as big of a believer in him as ever.
I'm a big believer in Will Johnson.
Okay, so if you're asking me to rate these guys in order, you didn't.
I would say, I like Will Johnson a lot.
I like Trayvion Henderson a lot.
The kid, the Minnesota offensive tackle.
Yeah.
Ursery.
Probably going to go over there.
Somebody's going to get a starting left tackle in the second round.
He's a very highly thought of player.
Luther Burton was awesome two years ago.
A little less awesome.
Slot guy, explosive guy.
Mike Green, the kid out of Marshall, is immensely talented, but he's got a bit of a background history, too, big-time.
People love Trey Harris from Ole Miss.
Yep, yep.
So there's a lot of good players out there.
Top of the second's always interesting.
If you're Cleveland and you get a call, you have the first pick, and you want, you like Shadur.
But you have quarterback.
Well, who's calling?
It depends who's calling.
Do they have a quarterback?
Well, no, I think here's what Cleveland's doing.
What if Cleveland like Shadour and Tyler, Chuck?
Nobody likes Tyler Schenker.
Well, I'm just saying a lot.
Let's say they do.
If I'm Cleveland, I don't think it's crazy.
I don't know.
Texans are not taking a quarterback.
Titans are not.
Patriots are not.
It's going to be one of those first five, or Sadorgoor goes to the third.
If I'm Cleveland, they've already got two first next year.
How about two seconds?
If I'm Cleveland, I've got the 36 pick.
I don't think it's the craziest thing because you, again, you want the roster.
so when the quarterback arrives, if you don't have, you need a quarterback, but Shedur in shock,
you don't, your scouting department is, and they've drafted pretty well.
Andrew Barry's drafted well.
My take is, I think I'd move that first pick.
I'd keep the second one, four picks later.
I think I'd move that first pick and get another, I'd load up on next year's draft.
And if you end up winning six games and you have the seventh pick and you want to get to number two,
you're going to need ones and twos.
You know, I know we love to say this.
Next year's quarterback, we do this all the time.
Are we certain Arch Manning is going to be that guy?
Well, are we certain.
There are a handful of quarterbacks.
So a year out, there's always surprises.
A year ago this time, Carson Beck, remember, he was the hot name.
Heisman, number one pick, all that stuff.
There's always surprises, but the people I trust say it is a better quarterback draft.
Next year. Also, every year, a free agent quarterback lands.
Now, Cleveland's not going to do that because of the Sean Watson contract.
But there are teams out there.
There will be at least two quarterbacks in the league that are capable that will be on the market.
And I will say there'll be at least three draftable first round.
If Kyler Murray and the Cardinals win six games, would you become trade bait?
That is a great point.
So Kyler's a great one.
If Kyler, again, you look at the division, he finishes fourth, is Kyler?
I just don't see him in Cleveland as an outdoor guy.
They're not going to pay for a quarterback.
They have to go find a bow nix.
You can't pay two quarterbacks.
So even Pittsburgh.
I don't know that he fits in Pittsburgh.
Cold weather outdoor games.
No,
No, no.
No shot.
He's got to be dome warm weather.
Anyways, let's go to the second story.
Jimmy Butler, the injury that he suffered in game two,
he's currently being listed as doubtful.
Colin, they're calling it a deep, glute muscle contusion,
which is a fancy way of saying he's,
got a butt bruise.
Listen, series tied
at one. Game three we know is
hugely pivotal. If Butler
doesn't play, I think I'm going to be on the
Rockets. Not for sure. I took him in, I think
I took the Rockets in seven,
six or seven, so
I mean, this is, I didn't
predict this, but
it really helps when the NBA
is letting players
play. Depth helps.
And Houston is so
deep athletically, they just have extra
bodies, and that allows you to play hyper-physical and get into more foul trouble.
Well, I think the big story to watch here, speaking of depth, is what's up with Jonathan
Kaminka?
Steve Kerr essentially benched him in game one.
He's in the doghouse, but if Butler doesn't play, Kamika's going to have a bit like 30 minutes,
because he played a lot in game two.
I think he was like four of 12.
But they don't love him, but they need him.
Oh, they need him, especially against the length of the rocket.
Yeah, I mean, Kaminga is, I mean, not even the dog house.
Tim Kawakami, I think, reported,
I think he reported that
I'll just say this.
It's been discussed in the Bay Area
that it's over.
And when you get DNPs,
coaches' decision, and you're athletic
long, and you have length the team
needs, it's over. They're playing
Quinton Post. I didn't know who that guy
was. Netherlands. It's all white guys.
He was in threes. Netherlands. I think he went to
Boston. Hey, you've got to follow Netherlands
YouTube high school college
video. But I say this about Kamenka
because this is a guy who was...
Remember, they drafted James Wiseman and Coominga,
and they were like, we're going to do the two timelines.
Can't. Listen, Bob Myers gets a pass for this
because he's out of there now. He whiffed on both...
No, time out. The Wiseman draft
was an awful draft.
It was, but if they... There was nobody else.
Anne Edwards, I think, was the only good player in that 20?
Well, Le Mello Ball went.
The Mello was so he'd be playing.
They were going to take Lamello with Steph Curry.
It would have been Monta Ellis all over again.
Yeah, I mean, it's...
That was a... I give him a pat. There have been two drafts in my life.
That was one.
The other was the...
Victorola Depot draft.
Like there are just drafts.
There's just no play.
The NFL draft where Zach Wilson went second.
That was a bad pick.
Every quarterback there has been awful, including Trevor Lawrence.
Final story, Colin, my Lakers, against the Timberwolves tonight.
It's going to get lost in the game three coverage.
But this is an interesting story.
So we talked yesterday about how Luca might be LeBron's best teammate of all time.
Well, Dwayne Wade heard this.
And he doesn't like what he sees.
from the Lakers so far. Listen to this closely
about Dwayne Wade.
This is all I want to see. I want to see
them be the too baddest
on the planet. No doubt. I don't want to see nobody
be battered than you. That simple is that
when you're watching that game and I'm watching Anthony Edwards
beat a bad. Be the bad. I don't like that.
And it ain't just about points.
Sometimes it's about the way you walk.
It's about the way you talk. It's about the way you
get up after you fall. Sometimes I need
to see it. Okay. So
this is a larger discussion on the
basketball culture. Dwayne Wade wants LeBron and Luca to talk trash and be bad MFs on the
court pointing and flexing. And I'm like, Dwayne, what really? That's what you want? These guys
miss me with the culture sometimes. I don't get that. That mindset? I don't know. I want Luca
distributing. I don't want him like flexing. You know who doesn't do that? The Celtics.
Steph Curry? I just, I don't know. Just go out play. Be a great teammate. Bust your butt. I don't mind
a little attitude. I like a little swag.
You know who was flexing last night? The Detroit Pistons all night.
They lost it at home.
Like Anthony Edwards could talk all he wants and point to Spider-Man stuff at Luca.
That's great. Give me the wins.
I love Wade, too, man.
Wade was one of my favorite players. Uh-oh. When you got draft stuff?
Colin, looking at his phone as I'm talking.
Little things percolating.
Uh-oh. All right.
Diana Rusini.
What do we got?
We have to have the same source.
The Steelers have been receiving calls on George Pickens.
Pittsburgh is open to conversations as it navigates Friday night without a second round pick.
So they want to get the second would get you a third.
Are they trying to get into the second to get Chador and part with Pickens?
It's worth it.
That makes sense.
Nobody's giving up a two for Pickens.
Discrundled receiver who's going to want to get paid?
He's a three.
If he wasn't disgruntled, he's a two.
That attitude craft, that makes him a two.
The talent, he's a first round.
Oh, he's a huge town.
Really good.
Huge.
But again, sorry.
Chemis, you know, how long do you think he would last in my spot on this show?
He'd want the ball and I wouldn't pass.
J-Mack for the news.
Well, that's the news.
And thanks for stopping by.
The Hurdline News.
All right.
Tomorrow's headlines today are around the corner.
Be sure to catch live editions of the herd weekdays in noon Eastern 9 a.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio, FS1, and the IHeart Radio app.
This is crazy.
Another Draft Night Live.
And you know.
And you know, we had it all.
The insiders.
The pros.
The picks.

Can't believe it.
We are Fox Sports Radio.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And we were thinking I'm originally calling it.
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers
was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast
where people could call in and say,
Hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down
on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title
for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

your podcasts. The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis, and I know first hand,
because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast, I'm breaking
down everything happening at Roland Garris, every match, every upset, and what it really takes
to win on Clay. Jenchian win. I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lerner Rabakina
is arguably the best player in the world right now
and actually can win on any surface
because if she's serving, well, good luck.
Consider this your court side seat to the French Open.

Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect.
We were God's chosen kingdom on earth.
He felt destined for greatness.
So when a swaggering Armenian businessman catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world, he doesn't look back.
Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey.
I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across.
When Jacob met Levin this went to a billion dollar fraud.
But with two kings from entirely different worlds, just how long can their empire survive?
The largest tax investigation in American history.
You need to tell me what you know.
Is somebody coming after me?
Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my life.

Tonight, we're under the lights in prime time as the Memphis Showboats.
Take on the Birmingham Stallion's Fox UFL Friday kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern.
All right.
NFL draft underway.
Round two begins later tonight.
A lot of good players in those first 12, 15 picks.
J. Mack, are you ready to go?
Board already, baby.
All right.
Tomorrow's headlines today is what we call it.
What will the headline be for the Tennessee Titans next season?
Yeah, we love the Cam Ward pick.
I think you and I both, the divisions winnable.
They can do some damage.
Headline for the Tennessee Titans will be.
Wham! Bam! Thank you, Cam!
Titans found in playoff position.
Colin, I don't see why they can't triple their win total to nine wins.
Yeah, same.
It's not out of the realm.
Houston, they took a step back, okay, with the offensive line issues, losing digs.
I don't know that they're going to be as great as they were last year.
We still don't know about the Colts in their quarterback situation.
And Jacksonville, new coach, new GM, what do we expect?
So I like Callahan and Cam Ward.
I think it'll be in a lot of three-wide sets.
I like the running back combo of Spears and Pollard.
I mean, I think three wins to nine is reasonable.
But again, again, I didn't see Bo Nicks coming.
I didn't see Jaden Daniels coming.
You saw them.
So I'm getting on board with Cam Warden and effort to make that right.
All right.
Tomorrow's headlines today.
The Jags going up to get Travis Hunter.
Didn't love the deal.
I think they gave up a little too much.
However, the headline will be.
Holy Crapsonville.
Jags go from hunted to hunter.
I think the big takeaway here is they've got instantly
a top 10 pairing of wide receivers in the league.
Brian Thomas, the rookie latcher, was phenomenal.
87 catches, 1,200 yards, 10 touchdowns.
He won me a fantasy league.
He was everywhere.
And by the way, he didn't only have Trevor Lawrence.
He had to catch passes from Mack Jones, your boy, McEnroe Jones.
So I think with that wide receiver pairing, new head coach,
if Trevor Lawrence is healthy, that's the big question.
Last two years, he's been hurt.
two years ago he played through the injuries and it didn't go well i think they can have a good season
but i'm i don't love this trade for jackson will the way that some of the jacks fans are geeked
tomorrow's headlines today giants gave up a lot to throw a dart later in the first round jackson
dart as a jets fan uh i think they will appreciate this headline the headline for the giants
will be dart bored early pick ends up being pointless i'm on race
record that Daibol and Shane do not survive this. I think they are gutted after this year.
First of all, Daibol came out and said Russell Wilson's our starter last night. Really?
So what is, are you training James Winston? Because Pittsburgh could use a quarterback.
What do you do with James? Is Jackson Dart going to be inactive for the first half of the season?
Like, I just don't understand this at all. There were two other offensive linemen drafted after
this. The Texans could have just stayed put. I don't understand the Jackson Dart love, Colin.
Maybe I'm missing something. Are you on board with this? Is this?
Do anything for the Giants?
They're still last.
I think Jackson Dart would have been available with the second pick they would have today had they not traded it away.
Didn't love it.
Tomorrow's headlines today.
What will be the headline for the winner of the first round?
Okay.
We're on opposite sides here.
You're vehemently on opposite sides.
The headline will be Splatlanta Falconsland Haymaker at end of round one.
I'm in a minority here.
I love going after two SEC.
edge rushers who are absolute beasts. Walker and Pierce are going to be a problem in Atlanta.
Colin, do you know in the last five years no Falcons player has more than seven sacks?
I know. They can't get to the quarterback. That's why they went and got Matt Jude on last year.
So they've got Pennix and Bijon Roberts and Drake London. I like that nucleus. Kyle Pitts is kind
on the outside looking in. But I love these two edge rushers. Jesse Bates on the back end,
AJ Terrell, a good corner. Give me the Falcons to win this division next year.
Over the bucks. That's a take. Finally, Tamar.
The horro's headlines today.
What's going to be the headline for Shadur Sanders in the draft?
I'd say we saved the best for last, but the headline for Shador will be.
What happens in the third round?
Stayes in the third round.
I think the Vegas Raiders are like, hey, we can't take him too early.
We just got Gino.
Wow.
I think they take him in the third round.
You think nobody picks him in the second.
Well, it's not like 32 teams are clamoring for him in the second round.
No, it's like four.
There's like three or four.
And I just think that.
There's higher value players.
Like, by the way, I know he loves the Raiders.
He's been putting them on his Instagram.
Well, he's legendary.
I just, I can't see anybody taking a flyer in the second.
I'm not willing to bet any significant money, but I don't think the Browns do it.
And then the Steelers, do they get in the second to go after him?
This is a precipitous fall for Shador Sanders.
I feel a little bad for him.
We had a good talk with some of the guys on staff.
You don't have to feel bad for Shadour, but watching him go through that, Colin?
Oh, it's painful.
Dude, that is brutal.
Oh, it's brutal.
Yeah, I mean, I just...
Two weeks ago, he was like, oh, where's he going in the top five?
Then it's like, eh, top ten.
Then it's 21.
I will say this.
The college football world sent a message to that Tennessee quarterback.
Oh.
Lower the temperature.
Do you love football or what football provides?
I didn't love...
I didn't love Chedour in the room legendary and the New York giant.
cleats. It's not the end of the world. But guys, just
fault on the side of humility before
you're drafted. Now, he can use this as fuel as he said. That's right. That's right. And again,
it's not the end of the world. Just, I tell my kids, you know,
you don't have to love every time you go to an interview. Just fault on the
side of being on time and being humble. And listen, Tom Brady
remembers every quarterback picked ahead of him.
Absolutely. He used it as fuel. Michael Jordan made up these fake scenarios to
get him angry and fired up.
Like, you can do,
Chodorino dropped,
Aaron Rogers dropped.
He's not in those classes.
A lot of these quarterbacks
have not a lot of guys that went number one
and end up being great at quarterback.
I mean, Mahomes went 10th.
Josh Allen didn't go one.
Lamar went late first.
There's nothing wrong with drop.
I mean, if he ended up going late second,
and, you know,
you know, a really quality team says,
you know what?
We're not going to play him.
Let's roll the guys.
McVeigh, says, hey, you know what?
Matt Stafford's old.
Should we take a flyer on?
I just, but it's, you know.
Let's remember, Lamar Jackson was asleep in the green room at the end of the first round.
There are images all over the end of him and his mom with their heads on the table, downcast.
He's now got two heavy pieces.
It's not over.
You make your money in the second contract in the NFL anyway.
The first one, you're not getting rich.
You're going to make it in a second if you're going to make it at all.
So why not go to a better organization a little later?
Yeah.
See you Monday.
It's the hurt.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?

We invented a podcast?

We just contributed to it.
