This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel. Help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Michelle McPhee, and I've been unraveling the strangest criminal alliance I've ever reported on.
A Mormon polygamist and an Armenian businessman.
Multi-million dollar house, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, a billion dollar fraud.
But how long can this alliance last?
Tell me what you know.
Is somebody coming after me?

Okay, so a free agent move.
So Milton Williams, the best defensive tackle on the market,
and there are a lot of GMs in the NFL that believe defensive tackles are more valuable than rush ins.
That is kind of a two to three year trend.
So Milton Williams, he goes to the Patriots.
Now, he had five sacks last year from an interior position.
He's the best defensive tackle on the market.
Now, they're going to pay $26 million a year.
That's an overpay, right?
He's probably worth $18.
but they have so much cap space
and they've been very prudent with their previous moves
I don't have a big problem with it
and also I think it fits Vrabel's profile
okay Vrable's a tough guy he wants physicality
you start looking at the moves
linebacker defensive tackle number two corner
veteran tight end he's not wasting money
on stuff he's doing in between
these tackles toward the football
So Milton Williams lands in Mike Garofalo,
I was breaking that thing,
Garfolo, nice job, Mike.
Milton Williams, a bit of an overpay.
But again, when you have like 200 plus million
and you're going to overpay,
there are worse positions to overpay than defensive tackle,
left tackle, quarterback.
You're going to overpay.
You're not going to get a value proposition
on every single guy that you get.
So, I mean, New England, now,
there was a young, defiant sportscaster
who said New England would be the most improved team in the NFL this year.
Oh, I forgot that was me.
And they have just found six starters in counting.
I like their moves.
With that Channing Fry, boy, he's enlighten the world on fire.
He's out throwing haymakers.
Getting all these game makers.
No, I'm just trying to defend my young guys, man.
Just trying to defend my young guys.
You know, I'm on social media all the time.
I'm like just seeing what's going on.
And these conversations are kind of getting wild.
And I'm like, man, we bash the league, but we're not really watching the league.
There's so many great things about the league.
And I was just like, dude, why are we constantly going back of like, well, this isn't this
and this isn't that?
And I'm like, man, take the time to look at like some of the great stories.
And some of the best stories this year are obviously OKC.
The Lakers are a great story.
But one story that nobody's really talking about the Pistons.
Didn't they win 14 games last year?
I know this is a while.
You didn't think we were going to talk about this.
Like, the Pistons were a joke last year, and if you watch them, they are beating everybody.
Yeah.
Like, let's talk about these young teams.
And, you know, I think we want the league to be simpler in a superstar league.
This generation, this new era, is not superstar league anymore.
Like, you've got to have a full team.
Look at Boston.
They're a team.
Yeah.
OKC is a team, a complete team, right?
you look at the calves, the complete team.
So for me, I was like, let's talk about that, right?
We want players growing up to play and be a part of a team,
and now teams are being rewarded.
We've had seven different champions in seven years,
but we don't talk about the parody of the NBA.
And this year, it's a crapshoot who might win.
Yeah, and you know what I think's happened?
I think that the league is so global and so talented.
There used to be, to me, there used to be a huge gap
between like magic and MJ and then there's a gap.
I don't feel there's much of a gap.
I mean, I think Yokic is the best player,
and then I think you get about nine guys, SGA, Janus, Luca, LeBron, Steph, Tatum,
and all good.
I think it's like the PGA tour.
You know, back years ago it was Jack or maybe Tiger,
and those are historically unbelievable players.
And now, what's the difference between Rory McElroy and the 16th player?
Like, they're all good.
They can all along off the T.
So I watched NBA all weekend.
I loved it.
I will say this.
I'll start with this.
I'm going to give SGA the MVP for two reasons, primarily.
He's got a younger roster, and you know this.
Playing with kids is harder.
And his number two player, Chet Hongren, is hurt a lot.
So he is babysitting offensively on a lot of nights.
secondly is the team's much better.
I could also say 30 is a much better defender,
but I don't think it's best player.
Otherwise, Michael would have more than five MVP.
I'm going to go SGA, what say you?
No, I agree with you.
I feel like Yokic is this generation's
best complete offensive player.
I think you look at when he's on the court
and they're plus minus.
I think it's historically the best ever.
It's also the worst ever, right?
And that's on Denver.
So I don't want to take that away from Yokic,
but when he's not playing, they are not good at all.
But when SGA doesn't play, this team is still elite.
True.
I think SGA anchors one of the best,
if not the best defense in the NBA.
I think to me, that gives him the edge.
And I'm glad you brought it up
because the best player is not always the MVP.
This is SGA season.
being in the MVP last year, being in this year, his growth, he's gotten better from last year.
He's added something to his game this year.
And for him, his teammates get to eat off the plate, and he still averages dang near 40 points, right?
Shooting efficiently.
I think Yokic is absolutely amazing, man.
I just feel like they've taken things away, and he said, okay, I'll step up.
But this is SGA's year.
Yeah.
This is just his year.
Yeah, no, and that I think it's well stated.

Yes.

So, you know, I watched Luca, and the Lakers, Lucas playing himself in his shape.
He was gone for a long time.
It's just hard, man.
He's the world's best athletes.
He's not ever a great defender.
And I thought in the first half, he got worked.
I mean, Tatum looked like the best player on the planet.
Luca looked like he was at the Y.
He couldn't defend anything.
He was.
but it was a weird spot
he's still working himself in a shape
you fly six hours blah blah blah
but I will say this
is that I don't mind
LeBron after a little groin
tweak I said this earlier LeBron
said all right daddy's going to take a couple weeks
off I've been carrying this
I've been carrying this unit
all you young guys are limping in can't play
I'm over it
are you okay with where
Luca is at physically
right now or did you think
it would be more consistently great at this point?
No, I think, and it's going to be a long-winned answer.
One, I think Luca was a shock of getting traded, and I think it messed his swag up.
Getting traded like that in the middle of the night, you know, getting snatched up like the bad
kids going to bad kid camp, you know, how they wake them up and, you know, with the bugle
and send them out, I think Luca's now getting his swag back.
you know, whether
bronze groin is out
a week or two weeks, I think this is
going to be great for Luca.
Because in the second part of
this is the Boston Celtics
took that game very serious.
Like, I can't remember a game where
Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown played 40 plus
minutes. Yeah. Like, they took
that game very serious.
And I love to see that from them.
But I think it showed
the Lakers, which they wanted to,
that Luca still needs
He might be a six.
Give us an eight, eight and a half before the playoffs.
And now Braun being out, this is going to be great for him because he's going to, he plays just like Braun, but now he's going to have to do this for longer.
He's going to have to get this team going.
For me, also the Boston Celtics defensively are a lot.
They are a lot.
And to be in that type of condition, imagine you start off with Derek White on you.
Then you have Jalen Brown on you.
then you get Drew Holiday on you, then you get Jason Tatum on you,
and then those five or six other possessions,
you got Al Horford sending you to one of those guys.
So the Boston Celtics are a great team,
but this is going to be interesting to see how he gets his umph back,
where he gets his swag back,
where he gets that attitude back.
Like, I want to see a couple technicals.
I want to see, you know, Luca cussing out the refs.
Like, I want to see a little bit of that back in these next two weeks.
It's a guy that played in the NBA for 13 seasons.
Smart veteran guy respected.
I watched Steph.
So I was a huge proponent.
My take on the Jimmy Butler trade, I'm like, just get him in the building.
Steph's on a treadmill to nowhere.
He's an all-time legend.
He's bored out of his mind.
But even I am surprised.
He went from 20 to a game to 30.
He's averaging seven more points with one more shot.
Are you surprised at, like, it's a lot.
He's a different player than he was a month ago.
Are you shocked at all?
Shocked.
Shocked.
I didn't think it would happen so quickly.
I just let's take Jimmy Butler what he does off the court out the way.
The dude is a savant.
And I just, it's amazing when you watch him, he's so dang efficient.
Like, and he just makes the right play every time.
And when you see Steph with a smile, when you see.
see Steph doing the good night, when you see him running around more, that's dangerous for the
league. Like, that is not fun to play against. And now you have two guys, Dremont Green and
Jimmy Butler, who are making everyone better. And then when things start, like when, you know,
teams start to go on runs, Jimmy's like, hold on, guys, I got it. I'm going to get to a free throw
line. The craziest stat is Jimmy, I think, is fourth, and free throws attempted, and he's only
been there 11 games.
Like, that's how much he gets
to the free throw line, slows the game
down, allows Golden State to get their
defense set, and offensively,
he just like, oh, you're open, boom,
open play. What's he averaging?
Like 17 on nine shots?
It's wild to
see how that went.
Now, I see underneath this little thing,
it says, are they title contenders?
I would never say no,
but I'm going to say they are
not who you want to match up with in the first round.
Yeah.
Like, you don't want their match up in the first round.
And if they get steamrolling, in the West, I think it's anybody.
So I know OKC is great, and people are going to get mad.
But I think in the West, if one team gets hot or there's a weird injury, I think anybody could take it.
Yeah.
I want to end with this.
So I take a lot of heat for my Jason Tatum takes.
And it's funny because, and I always say, listen, he's a great player.
You can argue he's, I think you can start it about the fifth best player in the league.
And from that point on, you can win the argument.
I'd probably have him sixth.
But he was great Saturday night.
But I've said this before.
There are players in the league that retire like Carl Malone, great all-time player.
And we don't talk about him.
And then there's guys like Magic and Bird and Dr. Jay or Michael, Shaq, we're going to talk about in 20 years from now.
So, like, I like Tatum a lot.
I think he literally fits on everybody's team,
but I just don't see him his face of the league guy.
How does it land for you?
Yeah, I just think Jason Tatum, we're bored with his greatness.
He came in the league, and he was great.
He's gone through his ups and downs.
He finally wins.
He wins a gold medal, and he does everything,
and we want to talk about how he set the bench for the Olympics.
Right?
I think Jason Tatum is this version.
of Tim Duncan.
Like he just goes about his business.
He wins.
His team is great.
We never hear about anything he does in the media.
Also, he addresses, like, the fact that he's getting
four, five, six, eight, ten, twelve assists a game now.
He's not settling for stepbacks.
He's going downhill.
So everything that we say, oh, that's what they need to do to win,
he's doing this.
His playmaking has gotten so much better.
I think his leadership has gotten better,
not necessarily being a who-rah guy, but knowing time and score,
Jason Tatum is a great, great player.
He's just not a media darling.
He just wants to go hoop and go home and do his thing.
And, you know, the fact that he's on in Boston Celtics doesn't help.
You know, you're going to get roasted.
It's either you love the Celtics or you like the rest of the league.
Like, it's just a fact.
But when Jason Tatum is done, we're going to have real conversations
whenever he retires in a long, long time from now
about where he is on that list of greatest Celtics
because what he has done from the time he's got there
has been unreal for a young kid like this.
And it's exciting to know, what is he, like 26?
Yeah, 27?
27, I think, yeah.
Like, what? He's 27?
This is ridiculous.
He's, what, nine years in the league, he's 27,
and he hadn't even hit his prime yet.
and that's what's even scarier
you do great work
channing fry
thank you i appreciate that
yeah
you're up we're we get into the uh
you know the may and june stuff
and if you're ever uh in l a la you live in portland now don't you
yeah yeah dude i'll pop my head down that's nothing but a quick little alaska flight
that's right you're flying the right airline out of portland
good seeing you my man
good seen you too thank you uh channing fry good dude
knows his stuff and i love that
oh look at this
Holy moly.
Sam Darnold, three years, $110 million deal with the Seahawks.
So again, look at the number.
Three years, $110 million.
Was that $34, $33.5.
I'm not good math.
What have we got about $35 million a year?
35 and a half, 36.
So he's six months younger than Joe Burrow, five months younger than Lamar Jackson,
a year younger than Josh Allen, and you get him for $35 million.
$536 million. He got a
Baker-Mayfield contract.
Sorry for butchering the math.
He got a Baker-Mayfield
contract. I'm totally comfortable.
You know, Gino wanted $10 million
more than this, and I think Donald's better
than Gino.
Maybe not by a lot, but he's better.
And he's also in his prime. You know, Gino
is a young, what is he, 33, 34.
Sam is younger than
many of the elite quarterbacks in the league.
So I'm telling you, I think John
Snyder is a really effective GM. He's like, we like Gino. We don't like the number. We like
Donald. We like the number. We've been saying this for six months. Sam coming back West,
SC, San Francisco, now he's with the Seahawks. This is a good number for Sam. Same thing.
They like D.K. Metcalfe, but they got a pick, and they don't want to pay him what D.K. Metcalfe,
$31 million a year. So they got a quarterback for
slightly more than D.K. Metcalf would have cost him.
That's good GMing.
I mean, D.K. was $31 million.
This guy's $35.36 million.
And he touches the ball every offensive snap.
And he's still in his prime.
And he doesn't cause any headaches.
So, I mean...
Let's see.
Yeah, basically Sam signed a deal
that is basically a salary cap-adjusted version
of the contract Gino got in 2023.
a very reasonable contract.
So you're seeing really good GMing and very weird GMing today.
Love what the Patriots are doing.
Love this move by John Snyder.
I like what they did in Tampa.
I love what the Chicago Bears did, which is shocking to say that.
So there's been some very good GMing.
So, Colin, essentially, with 55 million guaranteed to Darnold,
this is a two-year deal at 27 million.
That's right.
I know that everybody wants to see 110 mil.
Oh, my gosh.
It's really 55 mil guaranteed for two years.
That's what it is.
Yeah.
And at 27 mil a year, that's pretty good.
That's the Baker team.
I mean, that's going to be good,
but they're going to be like a 500 team at best.
Be very careful with those.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Put them in Patriots territory, if you want.
Go for it.
I have them battling the Niners for number two in the division.
You can't want them all, Colin.
Well, last year, I almost did.
You've got to be honest.
All right. What a show. So much fun.
Better go by my Seahawk jersey.
Live in Los Angeles, it's the herd.
Be sure to catch live editions of the herd weekdays in noon Eastern 9 a.m. Pacific.

And the fact that we've been friends for the last 20 years and still work together, I mean, that says something, right?
So check us out.
We like to get you involved too.
Take your phone calls, chop it up as they say.

Woo!
I am, so here we go.
Jay Mack.
Oh, you have it in your update.
I'm going to let Jay Mack take this.
He's going to have a nervous breakdown.
Stop it.
So Sam Darnold's deal is only $100 million, not $110.
So that's even better for the Seahawks.
I mean, they've got a deal with Sam Darnold.
It's less than Baker's contract.
I will say some people have pointed out how bad the offensive line is in Seattle.
If you look at the guys last year, cross played well, but other than that, across the board,
it was a poo-poo platter, to put it best.
So good luck to Sammy D in Seattle with J.S.N.
A couple other receivers.
Oh, come on.
No offense, a solid tight end.
The running back, Kenneth Walker's always hurt.
Walker, Charlotte, he's good.
That says six or seven win team at best.
All right.
Jay Mack, he's getting a little snarky with the news.
No, no, no, no.
News. This is the herd line news.
All right, so we're going to start with the Patriots because they've been in the cellar for a few years now.
They're coming out. Look at all these signings. They had all the cap space.
Mike Vrable's a new coach. And they have been on a spending spree, Colin.
They are going crazy. Like when you go to Vegas as a young guy for the first time, you're just gambling.
You're out of money in like two hours. You're just spending. Look at what the Patriots have done.
Milton Williams, they get him from Philly to anchor the middle of the defensive line a four-year deal.
Alta Davis will play number two corner opposite.
All the young superstar.
So many of these are like our defensive, tough guy positions.
Just look at that.
Harold Landry's coming off the edge.
Spillane, a tough linebacker in the middle.
He's kind of bounced around the league, but I thought he was good in Pittsburgh.
Yeah, he's a good player.
Morgan Moses will be their right tackle.
And then Austin Hooper was re-signed to be like their number two or three tight end.
Listen, man, they're not going to be terrible.
I'm not saying they're making the leap like you are.
But they are on the uptick.
And you got Rable as a good coach.
Looks like my predictions rounding in the form.
You got Drake May?
Who you buying for the next three years?
Drake May or Sam Darmer?
Well, Drake May, I think, is...
I think Drake May with Brable is going to be really, really interesting.
I also don't think you have Kyle Shanahan in your division and Sean McVeigh.
That's no fine.
That's a great point.
All right, now let's get to the better team in the NFC.
I'm sorry, the AFC East.
And that's my New York Jets.
They have just connected with Justin Fields on a two-year...
$40 million deal.
Put the siren on the screen.
The Jets have a quarterback.
I don't totally know how I feel about this yet.
I need some time to process it, right?
30 mil guaranteed for Justin Fields.
It's pretty clear Pittsburgh was not willing to make him their number one starter, right?
And the Jets said, come on down.
We've got nobody in the quarterback room.
It's your show.
Justin Fields will quarterback the Jets on a two-year deal.
Well, he's reuniting with Garrett Wilson.
Oh, that's right.
Good call. I forgot about that. Ohio State guys?
Yeah. Well, I just did my
AFC predictions during the break.
You banged out all the divisions.
Just AFC.
So where are the Jets?
Fourth place.
How many wins?
I didn't do wins yet.
I have my seven playoff teams as of this morning for next year.
Buffalo, New England in the AFC East, Baltimore, solely Baltimore
in the NFC North.
No Bengals?
Nope.
Come on.
Oh, wow.
Chargers win the division, Kansas City Wildcard.
I like that.
And Tennessee and Houston.
Tennessee, wow.
Yeah, I'm going to go.
I think I like Tennessee.
Well, they got to get Cam Ward first.
Well, nobody has, also nobody has film on Cam Ward.
The first, until Thanksgiving, you're just kind of guessing what Cam Ward can do.
Nobody's seen him play.
Like CJ Stroud's rookie year, you're like, all right, here you're like, all right, here we go.
So, I mean, it's going to take the, it always takes the league one-off season to figure you out.
That's why you've heard of the sophomore slump for quarterbacks.
So Cam Ward is going to surprise a lot of people.
Jaden Daniels, it's like,
honestly, it wasn't until, like, Philadelphia
where it felt like a team kind of figured it out.
Do you have the Broncos dropping out, huh?
They're my toughest team to figure out because the division's so good.
Steelers dropping off, no surprise.
So just to revisit Jets, Justin Fields,
are they like an exciting team and interesting team?
No.
They're nothing.
No.
New York football stinks, period.
Sorry.
All right.
We won't make this a Jetsau this fall.
I know the audience is going to be crestfallen.
Final story, Collins, to the NBA,
where the Mavs continue to circle the drain
after that Luca AD swap.
It's starting to feel like the team is cursed.
Fans have been upset with Nico Harrison since the deal,
but Anthony Davis tried to calm everybody down
with this interview on Saturday.
Get ready for this, Colin.
You know, I know who I am as a player.
You know, I'm top 75 of all time, you know,
and I just wanted to let the Dallas fan of like,
I mean, like, I got you.
You know, I'm here.
You know, I'm here now.
So, like, I know you lost, you know, a superstar in Luka,
but you also gained, you know, a superstar myself.
You know, he's right, by the way.
I know it doesn't sit well with Maverick fans.
He's a great player.
But he just put himself in the category as Luca.
We're both superstars.
Well, I got news for you.
He's defensively, Luca's the worst star defender in the league.
He's the best, AD.
So that's 20, 25% of your game.
not close. And by the way, right now he's in better
shape if he was healthy than Luca.
Damn.
By the way, we got
stuck to talk about it. Okay.
Aaron Rogers, where's his market?
So who's left?
Russell Wilson, Aaron Rogers, Daniel Jones.
But, I mean, Aaron's... It's got to be the Giants, right?
They're the only team without a...
You think Aaron Rogers to the Giants? That is...
He's holding out hope for the Niners.
I think he is.
If Aaron takes a small market,
are a small offer and purdy gets stubborn,
I'm going with Aaron Rogers.
Steelers, Giants, or Niners.
I would take the Niners in a heartbeat.
Plus, he's from the area.
He's a West Coast guy.
He can private jet down a Malibu in an hour and 10 minutes.
Shanahan and Lynch want to deal with that headache.
That's all he is now a headache.
Oh, come on.
He's not just a headache.
He's a little bit of a moodyer veteran player who's set in his ways.
That's what I'm looking for.
A moody veteran quarterback.
Moody.
Well, I mean, that's not being unfair.
I think it's fair to say.
I've heard that for people who played with him when he was in his prime.
You know, sometimes you don't quite know what you're getting, but whatever.
I don't care.
He's great.
And he's still good.
There's one great word that sums up Aaron Rogers.
What?
But it's inappropriate for the air.
Oh, come on.
Whatever.
He's just, he's a jerk.
Come on.
That's fair.
That's fair to say.
Well, no, that's not fair to say.
He can be...
Does his family talk to him?
I think...
Because he has a lot of friends, teammates around the league except for Devon.
Okay.
I think Aaron is a little like Trump.
They give off the same energy that they receive.
I've known people who I wouldn't think would get along with Trump,
who have gotten along with Trump.
If you give Trump a certain energy, you can get along.
Well, he's just trolling as a president.
I mean, it's not like Aaron Rogers is coming out.
We're going to make what the dealer is great again.
He's not going to do something like that.
I think Aaron gives you the energy that you give him.
And that's who I, that's his personality.
Would you go on a dark district?
Oh, hey, here's news for the Cowboys.
They signed a long snapper.
I just saw it.
Cowboys just did a three-year deal on a long snapper.
Woo!
Put the party hats on, get the balloons, Crystal.
I mean, hey's the banner.
Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo.
Long snapper.
You better be real long.
They need it.
All right, Jay Mack with the news.
Well, that's the news.
And thanks for stopping by.
The third line news.
So I gave you my AFC playoff.
This is just off the top.
We still got ways to go.
So after this week, I will get, maybe on Thursday or Friday, after the guys are signed,
I do like five different division predictions, and I'm allowed like three changes.
So I told you, right now I have Buffalo and New England in the playoffs, Baltimore in the playoffs,
Chargers, Kansas City in the playoffs, Tennessee and Houston.
In the NFC, I've got Philly, Washington.
I'm going to go Detroit wins the division.
Chicago finishes second.
over Green Bay and Minnie.
So are Green Bay, Minnesota not making the playoffs come?
Rams, Niners make it, and Tampa makes it.
Somebody good's not making the playoffs.
Right now I don't have Green Bay in.
And that is not a shot.
That division right now?
Jesus.
I mean, Detroit, Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota,
if you just took that division,
just that division,
and built a pro bowl offense just on the NFC North.
It could compete with the league.
Hold on.
So the Vikings, I believe, won 14 games last season, right?
They're not going to do that.
So, okay, I, they're going to win eight.
But is Darnold worth like six wins?
Come on.
No, no, Darnold's going to Seattle.
I have them finishing third.
So what are they dropping to?
Eight wins?
No, eight to nine.
I think it's a very good division.
And the Packers you have with your boy, Jordan, love who you would love more than a game.
I think I have them winning like nine games.
But I think I have Chicago Bears the playoff team.
I did not.
By the way, after all those moves last year, I had them in four.
That's a good call.
I have the Bears right now.
Offensive coach, Caleb's second year, guard center guard, elite players.
I have the Bears the playoffs team.
I'll tell you right.
Vikings or Packers, one of them's making it.
They have to.
Come on.
If anybody drops its alliance.
Okay, so let me ask, let me think about this.
You have to have four minimum new teams in the playoffs.
So New England would be new.
Tennessee would be new.
Chicago would be new.
San Francisco would be new.
So I'd have four new playoff teams, which is a...
By the way, is Sanford definitely coming back to the playoffs?
Well, they have 12 draft picks.
Okay.
So if they hit on six and Purdy's there and Christian's back and Iyukes back, I think that's a 10-win team.
I don't think it's a 13-win team, but I think it's a 10-win team.
Let's not let the pendulum swing so far.
Washington's definitely coming back?
Yeah.
Okay, just make it sure.
I would agree.
NFC is tougher than the AFC.
It is because I'm taking Lamar, Josh Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, C.J. Stroud.
I'm giving 10.
You've got to have at least four new playoff teams, and it'll probably be closer to six.
So who's coaching the Bengals in 2026?
because if they miss the playoffs again, there's no way Zach.
I haven't finishing second.
But missing the playoffs, right?
Well, if you miss the playoffs on the last weekend, you're not going to fire it.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
I got Joe Burrow.
It's Cincinnati.
They don't fire coaches.
They let you play out the string.
That's Cincinnati.
If the Bengals and Jets called you tomorrow to ask about consulting,
who's more desperate out of those two franchises right now?
The Jets.
Hoping you'd say Bengals, because it sounds like you're way down on them.
I haven't finished.
second. I'm way down on the
Steelers. They've got a top
four quarterback in the league. They should be in the playoffs every
year. Also remember, the Vikings were
9 and 1 last year
in one score games.
That just doesn't, that never
trend. It's like the fumble
stat. Like a team will fumble 28
times and recover 22. That's luck.
When you go 9 and 1
and 1 possession games, you
go 5 and 4 and 5
the next year. So if
you, you know, if you just have
regression in one-store games with J.J. McCarthy as a first-year starter.
I think Minnesota at 8-9 wins is a realistic take.
For what it's worth, I think the Chiefs were like 10 and 0 in one-score games last year.
And I'm just telling you, that's all that's fine.
Mahomes, let's keep an eye on that.
I think Chiefs are falling cutoff.
What a day today.
It's a lot of new guys.
Sammy Darnold going to the Seahawks for a really good number.
Man.
All right.
So should I do, should I just lay it out tomorrow?
I think you need to give this some time to internalize everything.
A little hot takey on a couple of these.
What were the hot takey?
How can you have the Packers out of the playoffs?
You basically had them in the Super Bowl last year this time.
You love the Packers.
Last year you had Aaron Rogers and the Jets winning the division.
I did, yes.
And you're calling my comment of I love the Bears interior linemen signings as hot takey.
I think Brable's making mostly smart.
That's a taught takey.
You know, what?
But Miami, do you have Miami?
Nope, nope.
I haven't finished.
NFL's tough, man.
A lot of good teams you have missing the playoffs.
It's tough for a lot of people.
Especially the Jets.
Oh, man.
Justin Fields, though.
They'll get a lot of primetime games because they just, no, they won't.
No.
None.
Yeah.
I'm not player Hayton.
I'm just situation hating.
Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know,
tired and sick.

Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.

A Mormon polygamist and an Armenian businessman.
Multi-million dollar house, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, a billion dollar fraud.
But how long can this alliance last?
