Starting point is 00:01:16 in the chat there. Jackson is monitoring it and he'll be throwing stuff at us. I've also got, I've sort of opened up a little Twitter thread and was like people could just hit us up if they want to talk shit about the All-Star game. So, you know, interact with us. Come hang out. It's Sunday night. Everyone's loose.
Starting point is 00:01:34 We're talking shit. As always, Jenkins & Jones hosted by my good friend, Dragonfly Jones, AKA Tyler. Hey, everybody. How the Lugethro Jenkins, aka John Was that, Bubba's. I'm Garda B. A.k.a. Mike. Mother fucking Mike on the ones and twos.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Um, fucking Mike. Is it me? Or did the entire All Star weekend feel like a podcast intro? Like the whole thing was just some shit we had to get through, bro. Like, why, what is wrong with this shit? Tyler, you got the best athletes in the fucking world in one place. Look, I might be going against the grain here, but I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:02:17 It didn't blow my socks off. But look, I thought that the three-point contest was great. If Halliburton didn't fucking, you know, take the air out of that, we had a three-point contest that literally came down to the last money ball, you know, and that Dame hit to knock buddy out. I thought Mack McClung, I might get some heat for saying this during Black History Month, but I thought that Mac McCong put on an all-time great dunk contest performance. Oh, all-time?
Starting point is 00:02:45 Interesting. Yes, yes, yes. I'll put it up there. And I thought the All-Star game, I thought the All-Star game was cool too. You know, we had fucking, you know, Jalen and Tatum battling. We had Dane decided he's pulling up from Half Court the whole fucking time. You know what I mean? I enjoyed the All-Star game, too.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Like I said, I wasn't blown away, but I enjoyed this weekend. dunk contest was fun you know i mean it's it's trade mary one crazy too i can't sleep on him you say who you say who uh tray murphy tray murphy train murphy went okay for sure for sure bananas too during that shit yeah dunk contest was fun you know what i'm saying i still i still think it's thirsty you know mac mcclung being pulled up from the but i mean it was a it was a great decision it turned out great he was fun to sell max a million and cook mcclunk or whatever they were mac mcm they were fucking they got a he got a he got a he got a he got a he got a pre-civil rights face, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:37 I think that's the worst part of, you know, like it being Black History Month, but don't bunnies, bro, the bunnies. All right, look, look. He is from, he is from, he is from a part of Virginia that black people do not fuck with. He is, you know, how Virginia's kind of shaped like, you know, a little fucking key or whatever in the park. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:56 That goes in the door first that touches Tennessee and shit. He's from that part, like the Bristol area. So, yeah. So he's from like northeast Tennessee to and basically, you basically, yeah. He's not really Virginia like that. Not the VA, we know. When he pulled that Gate City jersey out, did your nose wrinkle up a little bit? No, because, like I said, he was a high school legend here.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Like, I heard about the kid before he even went to Georgetown. You know what I mean? So, yeah. He was killing social media and shit like that. But I want to say this. I was talking to rather while watching the actual all-star game. And I was like, babe, I think I might be officially old. I don't like this.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And I was telling y'all, I was like, this might be my first Republican take since being I think defending Duke or whatever the fuck I did last time y'all called a Republican last year or year and a half ago whatever but I think like bro I'm like nigga pay some defense like play a little bit just a little bit pretend they're interviewing people in the middle of the game you know what I'm saying and he's and you know and he's saying straight up like bro like I'm not trying to hurt nobody I ain't playing no D like you know what I mean like what are we uh you know I don't need to know that you know what I'm saying I don't know man I I think think they need to switch some shit up. I did love the Tatum and Jalen back and forth. I think
Starting point is 00:05:08 we've talked about this in this pod, but yo, one-on-one. They need to add that. I mean, I know there's a lot of guys that might not do it, but there's some dudes that would, you feel me? And I think, like, seeing that was like, yo, that was the funnest part of that game to me when they were going back and forth. But also, Tatum getting the MVP, that was dope. I was like, is he going to drop 60? Yeah. God damn. But anyway, yeah. Well, I don't know, I was happy for you guys getting some semblance of the hometown love with Tatum, breaking the scoring record, getting MVP and then Tyler like I know he's not really from Virginia the way that you're from Virginia but still you like anytime someone who you heard of in high school does something
Starting point is 00:05:43 cool all-star weekend that's a fucking nice feeling you know what I mean so I was happy for you guys on that um I just I don't I'm gonna go even further right than John all right I'm gonna fucking really fuck up February here I have to say it was it was a for the whole weekend was a little frustrating to me, but particularly the All-Star Games Sunday night because someone retweeted a clip of Kobe talking, you know, 10 years ago or something about how they need to change up the All-Star game. And what he said was people are tuning in to see the best athletes in the world compete with each other.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Compete. And Kobe said, and I've been there for some of these, John, I know you have too. He said, it's more competitiveness in open runs at UCLA in the summer. that's a fucking fact you have all these dudes here and when they talk about what do we need to do to get big names in the in the dunk contest what do we need to do you know
Starting point is 00:06:43 and they talk about incentivizing it do we need to incentivize this shit you need to put a million dollars on the table to convince people to go try hard like it actually does bug the shit out of me because even missing the dudes we were missing with Steph and KD not being able to play I was excited to see Tatum
Starting point is 00:07:02 and to see who's going to step up and go, no, no, no, no, the next generation is not going to be Tatum. It's going to be me. And no one's like, I know you're not playing defense, defense, but you could play like, defense or so. Like, give me some soft version of defense. And it was just so open and jogging up and down the court. I don't know, man. I love the part when Jalem and Tatum were going back and forth for sure. Like Tyler said, Dame deciding to have a one-man half court contest in Utah with
Starting point is 00:07:32 He started like, oh for eight, though. I was like, bro, he got to hit one or just chill out, dog. Like, yeah. Do y'all like the Elam ending or you think they need to get rid of that? I legit think that the Elam ending, I mean, I know the whole point is to kind of, you know, make things more competitive. Because, I mean, God forbid we have a fucking, you know, all-star game where the final score is 212 to 200. There's no defense in the NBA motherfuckers. Well, well, that would be their exhibit A, you know, forever if we get some shit like that, right?
Starting point is 00:08:01 But I legit think that it's too much math to keep up with it. I think guys are losing track of the score and what it's going to be. Because, you know, the way the All-Star games have always played out, everyone bullshits the first three and a half quarters, second half of the fourth quarter, motherfuckers lock in play defense really try to win that shit, right? But I think what's that score came up to the fourth quarter? And they were like, damn, we got to, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:23 go on like a motherfucking 36 to 8 run to beat these motherfuckers, right? I totally agree. And I think that's exactly it for me. I think Jemel Hill tweeted like, I was just waiting for like your usual 10 minutes at the end of the game where guys are locked in. And it happened like 30 seconds before the end of the game. And I think Tyler's right.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I think the Elam ending kind of worked against him at this point. We got to score 40 before that team scores 20. I don't know. I mean, I think what happened was Brian got hurt and they had a bunch of shooters and they got hot and then niggas couldn't keep up with them. It was like Kyrie versus Team Yonis basically at that point. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:09:01 So I think that's what happened. I mean, the other two games have been fun, though, the Elam ending. So I'm not, like, trying to, like, put the nail in the coffin now, you know what I'm saying? But I fuck with it. I just think they couldn't really keep close. When they, when they have all the shooters on one team, you know what I mean? And they're getting, and they're hot, and they have one shooter. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:09:18 I think Paul George was the other shooter. And those shots weren't shooting. So you know what I mean? You felt like Braun fucked the draft up? No, no, I feel like he got hurt. Him getting hurt messed up, I think. You know what I mean? But I mean, Janice was out too.
Starting point is 00:09:31 So, but anyway, yeah, I don't know. I'm not really willing to say like, fuck it now. I mean, it was good to the first two seasons. It was for sure. Tyler, what did you think of the live draft format? Was that what you and I were hoping for as, as, as, as, we weren't playground bullies. But I turned into one a little bit when they started talking about lining them up and picking. They tried to throw a little monkey wrench.
Starting point is 00:09:52 But the haters will always find a workaround. We knew that the last reserve was technically the last guy, you know, picked, right? And I told you what happened when I saw the reserves. I was like, bro, it's going to be Triple J. It's going to be Jaron. You know, and that's how it shook out. And no shots to Jaron because that motherfucker is a baller. For sure.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah. Right. Yeah. He's a phenomenal player. If Memphis is serious about, you know, winning championships, they're going to make him a max player when his deal is up. He is that fucking good. But I knew he wasn't going to be, you know, he's not a sexy all-star style type
Starting point is 00:10:24 player. So I knew that he was going to go last. But like I said, they tried his, you know, still the joy from the haters. but the haters prevailed. I did like how Yokish got up when it was him and Lori left. Like, come on, bro. Like, let's not even waste our time on this and walk right to Brown when it was his
Starting point is 00:10:37 thick. That was funny as fuck. I was cracking up at that and I was also laughing at, because we talk about this sometimes, like, among the guys in the NBA, they have their own, like, they have their own sports take shows, but it's only they talk to each other, right? They're not going and saying, they're not really getting in front of a, microphone and saying Rudy Gobert sucks. They just all know that and talk about it with each other, right? I thought it was really interesting. They'll talk to you about it too. On camera, but you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:11:07 Yeah, right, right. Yeah, no, you're right about that. We'll talk to people off camera about it. But I thought it was really interesting that Yokic, who's on the verge of making major, major NBA history. He's the favorite to be a third consecutive MVP, basically went ninth out of the 10 starters. I thought that was very interesting. Not that those dudes would disrespect his game, but it's obviously not an all-star game. And to see him and Marketing drafted in the same round was definitely a like, er-moment. And it makes sense to us watching because, like you said, it's not an all-star game.
Starting point is 00:11:40 So, yeah, all-star game type game. But yeah, I want to say this about Tatum, though. Last year I was looking at him and I was like, I remember I would say this on the pot of like, I would watch him and think like, damn, he feels like the best player in the league, even though I know he's not the best, you know what I mean? But, like, looking at Tatum this year and what he's done in an all-star game, obviously it's an all-star game, but like that's a lot of points. But anyway, just looking at Tatum, bro, do you think at 27, he's 24 right now?
Starting point is 00:12:05 In three years, he could be the best player in the NBA. I know Luke exists, but I think, like, when he hits his, like, physical peak, I can see 26, 27, like, you know, Brian will be, you know, what, 41 or some shit, you know what, KD, that's a, you know, like, Brian might be down to, like, 25 points a game. Right, right, maybe. Maybe 26, you know. saying but like the guys that we see now will not be who they who they are currently and like it'll be like the young bucks and i i could definitely see him kind of like being the best player in an NBA in
Starting point is 00:12:39 two three years bro it's like it's crazy and i felt like it like people were talking about it like he was saying he got next you know i'm saying and so it's interesting we've been talking about him you know getting to that point and it felt like right now he's trying to grab that crown him and and brown going back and forth a little bit you know so well you talked about tatem is oh go ahead tiley no I was going to say, I see what you say about how sometimes you think he's the best player in the league, even though you know that he's not. Like last year I started seeing that. I was like, bro, you know what I mean? He's got one of the most polished games in the league.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Like, like when he's on, he is a perfect basketball player. The handles are crazy. The mid-range is silly. You know what I'm saying? Finishing crazy. The finishing is crazy. The getting to the basket. It's just, there's no flaw when he's on his shit.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So I can totally say that. Yeah. And I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that, you know, it'll be. be him and Luca and you know, Janice will probably still be up there too in a few years for who's running the league. I don't think that's a hot take at all. No. But I say this.
Starting point is 00:13:38 He is going, I am getting major, you know, the Team USA team that took silver fucking vibes off of the Tatum era. If he cannot convince his fellow superstars of that generation to give half of a fuck about any of this shit. Because Luca
Starting point is 00:13:55 could not possibly have wanted to be there any let's. Tatum definitely decided it was going to be, I think he had 27 in the third. He went crazy. But like, if you look at that bridging that gap from when the current sort of starting to age, super is when the Bronner and Steph era closes, we're going to need a little bit more out of these dudes. And I think Tatum's holding up his under the bargain. But like, Luca, you got to get out there and start talking shit, bro. Like someone's got to turn this shit up a little bit the way that we had those moments. You say what? You say what? I think it's going to be Anthony Edwards is going to be that guy to match that level.
Starting point is 00:14:30 I can see that for sure. I'm not quite good enough yet, but in two years he's going to be. And I think he is going to rise to that shit talking, raise the, raise the energy level of this type of thing. I got, I got some more, uh, some more all-star topics for us, but we got a bunch of people, uh, throwing some tweets at us. I thought we, we could jump into, uh, the homie Chels. Homegirl Chels says, just make it a game of 21 and release us from this foolishness. A 2021, if it's anything like the backyard 21st I'll play, that is injury. Injury fucking, that is an injury hazard that you do not want to have with these guys.
Starting point is 00:15:08 For sure. Yeah. It is interesting to like, because Donovan Mitchell did say that. He's like, I'm not playing any defense. I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I do think there's like a strain of thought among the superstars in the NBA that effort equals injury. It's like if I play hard, if I play hard on back-to-back nights, if I play hard on back-to-back nights, if I played defense too hard, I could end up getting myself hurt. And I don't, like, is that,
Starting point is 00:15:31 do you guys feel like that's true in All-Star games? I don't know. I mean, Braun went out, you know what I'm saying, playing? I just feel like, dog, I feel like if you're not incentivizing this, if it doesn't matter in any way, I think it's a baseball, like, All-Star game, it decides who has home field or some shit. Yeah, but they're getting away from that because that was whack, too. Yeah, it's whack. Yeah, but I mean, like, I mean, in some way, incentivizing it. Like, bro, why would you risk it? You know, there's so many great players that are out right now. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:16:01 So, yeah, I get it. Like, bro, we're trying to win tips. Fuck all this shit. This shit cute. You know, we'll go out here and catch a Oof for the kids when I ain't playing no fucking D for them. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:16:11 Yeah. Eric Alejandro says, bring back the regular jerseys. I think everyone except for the decision makers in the NBA feels unanimously about that. Like, I like the all-star type jersey. And I think I love like the older ones when there was like. Like, fuck, the, it was the video game joints. We're for like NBA Jam or some shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Do you remember those? I love them. Just keep it those. You know what I'm? Keep one jersey for like 10 years and then move on or five years or something. A lot of people agreeing with our Carl Malone take, which I appreciate. Someone says proposed dunk context fix. This is from DeWisadry.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Proposed dunk contest fix. Rudy Goert is playing defense during the dunks. I have advocated for that for years. We need a dunked-on contest. Hell yeah. Like we need, and I think Ann Edwards said some shit like that when they asked him he was up and going to do the dunk guys. Like, nah, I don't do dunk contests.
Starting point is 00:17:04 I dunk on people. Yeah, that's what we want to see, bro. Catch your body. So y'all trying to put that man out like prey, like a Jurassic Park, nigga? Roll the sheep out for the T-Rex, nigga. Yeah. Yeah, steak Rudy Gobert to a stake someone hammered in the middle of the fucking key. Just put him on a chain, you know, and let him dance around in a circle getting dunked
Starting point is 00:17:26 And then when you get the real dunkers up, John Morant, he can go and cut the chain. You know what I mean? Like, no, I want to hunt live meat. How does, bro, how would he feel by like the fifth time he got dunked on, bro? Like, I think I start feeling bad for the man. And I hate Goger. You know what I mean? You know, I'll be like, damn, G, like eight times you've been dunked on?
Starting point is 00:17:49 You knew what he signed up for. We might need to get like, let's rotate like three people in or something, bro. You know what I'm saying? Don't let the man catch all of that. Jesus. Right. We have a bunch of people tweeting at us about a 3V3 or a 1v1 term. Yeah, but listen, didn't you make the exact point about why that would not work?
Starting point is 00:18:09 Why would someone, like why would they try hard and play hard and like Tyler said, get into a physical game like it was 21? Why would they do that in a 1v1 or 3v3, but they wouldn't do it in the game? Like I just don't see what's incentivizing, like you said, what they clearly are seeing as a risk to the- ego in that one verse one. But the thing is, I think if they were to be in it, if they were to sign up for it, it'd be ego. But the thing is to get them to sign up for it, be the issue. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:36 Also, like, if Kyrie gets in it and loses to, like, Spencer Dinwiddie, you know what I mean? That's a bad look. So, you know, I think that would prevent people to kind of from getting in it as well. It's like, if you catch a L to a nigga, you ain't supposed to catch a L to, you know what I mean? Folks won't be on your ass. So, you know, they're really like very conscious of their, you know.
Starting point is 00:18:58 So, I mean, I don't know, man. But I would love to see it, though. I would love to see it. I would love to see it. We need a Tatum or an aunt or a jaw or someone. You need the gods in there. You need the gods in there. I'm taking over the dunk.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Like Dame Lillard said it. He said he was doing the three-point contest this year. It was his third time. It was going to be his last time either way. He said, he considered himself one of the greatest shooters. He knew that was a box he needed to check, right? and you don't hear anyone say shit like that about the dumb contest anymore. You know?
Starting point is 00:19:29 They got Mack McClung in there. Maximilian McClung. My boy Matthew McClough. To save the Dundit. Come on, man. Deshawn Wilcox tweets, who's more of a spicy white? Luca Donchick or Mike Tariko? Mike Tarigo.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Really? Really? See? I'm not saying. Luke up or so. Let's see. Jay LaSole wants to know what John's favorite
Starting point is 00:19:59 Chicago restaurants are. So someone was tapped in with your itinerary. Bro. All Chival's my favorite burger spot and I think the best Habitchefu
Starting point is 00:20:08 food ever had is a diamond. So those are places I really, really hit a lot. There's some other places who I go to, but my homie Adrian is the one that kind of takes me
Starting point is 00:20:16 that, so I really don't the names. But I think Chicago's up there with New Orleans with good food. I'm going to be on. I got to keep it a stack. I'm not, you know, y'all know I love New Orleans. That's no, that's not to disparage them at all.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Like I said, you can take a boot out that motherfucker and it tastes delicious. You feel what I'm saying? But Chicago's up there for sure. Did you guys enjoy the shit-eating grin on Braun's face when he picked Kyrie second for the fucking during the draft? Tyler, were you licking your chops about that as much as I was, bro? Yeah, yeah. I knew he didn't want to be too obvious. I knew he wasn't going to come out with with the Kyrie for the first pick.
Starting point is 00:20:51 So, you know, he went with the whole Ann Edwards, you know, being the ambassador of the game, extending, you know, his arm out to the younger generation, you know, and then he, then he was like, okay, I'm fucking, uh, a genie and fucking Polenka. Y'all see who I want, you know, on my squad now. So yeah, I knew, I knew Kyrie was for sure going to be like, you know, top suit pick for sure. And I also loved him talking shit on Janus for not picking Drew first out of the reserves. John, he was, he said to Ernie, he's like, you see. Yannis has changed this weekend because he always talks about loyalty and brotherhood. On that man's head. Love to see it. Let's have some fun with it.
Starting point is 00:21:32 I don't think this should count as as the bronze taking an L too. I don't think this should count with him getting hurt, bro. You know what I'm saying? We gotta scratch this from the records. You know what I mean? Y'all count it?
Starting point is 00:21:43 Y'all count it? I guess, I mean, Yonis was hurt. Yonis was hurt, so. I counted it. And in the least defensive, most three-point shot All-Star Game of all time as it turned out
Starting point is 00:21:55 having Mbid and Yokic on the team was not the advantage he was looking for it. Did you see Yokis that chumper day that three-ge-took? He's like, let me join in the fun and book. I'm like, I looked away.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I covered Somi's eyes. It was disgusting. All right. A big P, three-time MVP. Let's talk a little bit more about Matthew McClung. which by the way I love that I have been making the Matt McClung joke all weekend and I think his name actually is Matthew McClung so he is a man he's a man oh yeah he got a
Starting point is 00:22:30 mad face I mean they all got mad faces but um except for Mike Mike you know you're only one I look at a don't see a Matt honestly I'm a Matt well my brother's name is Matt as you know I know you're telling me that which was funny but he's a Matt but he's from a part of like I said, a part of Virginia that's too country to be a Matt so that's why he's a Mac. Oh, right, right. I thought Mac was like,
Starting point is 00:22:54 damn, because I do know, I didn't know a Mac that we called Mac that was in Alabama, so that is a country joint. Yeah, that's the, that's a country man. Yeah, Mac is the country man. Wait, are there black people call Mac?
Starting point is 00:23:08 Yes, not. Matt Barnes, like we've discussed people is the holy one. I'm saying Mac, Mac, Mac. Mac. Mac. Oh, Mac. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I feel like I guess it's not That is a country version of Matt Willie McGinnis goes by Matt Okay yeah so I think I thought that was There's some good Macs out there Yeah yeah that are black You know what I mean so it's interesting
Starting point is 00:23:31 But the version of Max that are white Are the country is of the country Right Wow it's crazy Two Americans like a motherfucker Is the answer on the dunk contest Like you know like you guys said Is it pulling up dudes that are hungry
Starting point is 00:23:45 that are, I mean, like, this dude went from trying to grind his way into a 10-day contract to, you know, I mean, I know it was Post Malone, but he's introducing the pregame musician. He's a featured part of the All-Star weekend. There's no version of reality where this is not a huge boost to that dude's career. So is that, is finding super athletic dudes that are more on the cusp in terms of league success? Is that the answer where they're not worried about what it does to their reputation because their reputation right now is a G-Leod. who's trying to crack their way into the NBA. Do you think that's a fix, or is he just so athletically gifted that he's kind of a unicorn in that regard? And that man's going to Philly, too. That rocky-ass city is going to love that little white boy, man. Like, they'll go to. How long you think he's going to stay in the league?
Starting point is 00:24:31 How long you think he's going to be playing out of the league? I guarantee you during whatever, however, even if it's just 10 days, I guarantee you that that there will be chance for that dude. I guarantee you that. There will be chance for him to get in the game. But I don't know if he's an NBA player, though. And that's the whole thing. If you're going to invite guys who are fringe NBA players, G-League players,
Starting point is 00:24:48 because I would really be surprised if Matt finishes out the season in the league, I think you're going to scare NBA guys away because, you know, they don't want to lose to, you know, like it comes back to pride. They don't want to lose to G-leaguers or overseas dudes or, you know, wreck legends or whatever. They have more to lose. They have more to lose. And I think, like you said, he's just, athletically, he's just extremely gifted. Like, I mean, I think a lot of us kind of knew of them in high school.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Like, it's kind of, you know, he was one of those guys that, bro, like, you think that maybe him in high school might be the peak as far as how, you know, beloved he is. It sounds disrespectful to say that he's a YouTube dunker, but he did have that level of success. Like, he was known, even if all you sort of followed was, like, highlights before overtime and hoops up before, like, there were, you know, 15 national high school highlight places. He was one of those guys who he was popping. I mean, the kid was only a three-star. Like, he's exceeded expectations getting a shot at the, you know, getting these shots at the league that he's had. So, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:49 For sure. Okay. All right. Well, that was All-Star weekend. You know, mixed bag. It's always going to be a mixed bag to some extent. But, you know, the last thing I'd say, do you guys feel like having in Utah was sort of part of the pallor that was hanging over?
Starting point is 00:26:04 What did Chuck say? He said, everyone in this city's going to heaven. Because it's boring as hell. It's boring as hell. Everybody here going out. I never. Shacks and I never wanted so much room service
Starting point is 00:26:13 of my life. Okay, I mean, I get it. You had to spread it around and, okay, and that's it for that. Never again. Um, let's not, look,
Starting point is 00:26:25 do we really have to around? Do we have to? Like, why? You got to. You got to. No, you don't have to, bro.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Put it in cities that people want to be in, don't. If you're doing shit like revenue, sharing, you absolutely have to do it because this is a revenue grocer. It's a business. God, bro. It's just like,
Starting point is 00:26:40 it's just a whole. Bro, you saw when old boy was performing? Burner Boy, they couldn't even clap on beat. That motherfucker had to help him again, like, trying to saw him again. Like, bro, that was fighting for the life drowning trying to fucking catch the goddamn beat. Nigger, it was nasty out there.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Tim, she's a goddess and she got to perform in front of that motherfucking, you know what I'm saying, drywall of a fucking, you know, crowd, nigga. Come on, man. Damn, man, we got to do this to folk. They deserve better. She out there thick as hell.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Just being beautiful in front of them. Come on, man. They can't even catch your feet. Let's be Bronny Janus right now. Let's pick. We'll just go around 1, 2, 3, 4.5. If we found out next year, all right, we're going to be involved in the All-Star weekend festivities,
Starting point is 00:27:27 the volumes, footing the bill on everything. What's the five cities? Go 1 through 5. John, you start with the number one pick. What five cities do you want this thing to be in for the rest of time? Miami. Miami number one. Miami is the city.
Starting point is 00:27:43 That is a city that is built on partying and coming in, getting the fuck out, having a good time, having a blast and, you know, packaging and leave. Not going again for another year. Right. Exactly. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Yeah, I mean, I guess L.A. is number two. I don't think it is. I go to New York number three. I mean, you know what I mean? But like you said, L.A., New York, you kind of can't go wrong just in terms of the... There's, like, legitimate history and culture, but also enough people.
Starting point is 00:28:11 that you have people who really, really want to be there, people who know how to clap on fucking beat. Jesus Christ. theoretically. I don't think you're going to heaven not clapping on beat, dog. I think, bro. I think that's part of the process. You get to the gates and St. Peter
Starting point is 00:28:28 just starts playing a fucking four count and seeing if you go on one in three or two and fours. He starts playing Timbs. If you can't clap to the damn beat, you're taking your ass to the other side, dick. Fuck you mean, dog. That's disrespectful to God's blessings.
Starting point is 00:28:41 But anyway, I guess, I mean, bro, like, I love Chicago was cold. I don't understand cold cities aren't the best. I say New Orleans. I say New Orleans. New Orleans would be great. Atlanta, I throw Atlanta in there too. Facts, facts, facts, facts. Because Atlanta's going to break out all the fucking celebrities.
Starting point is 00:28:55 That shit is like, yeah. Yeah. The performance would be crazy. But Chicago, I will say I had a great time no matter how fucking cold it was. Yeah. It was a ball. I'll make Chicago our six man off the bench. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:29:06 In the All-Star rotation. But if you kept it in those six cities, whew. Sounds good to me, bro. I'm gonna tell you, I went to the Chicago shit, only went to the festivities when it came to, like, the actual games and shit. All the things, they parties they had outside of it. I didn't do that.
Starting point is 00:29:21 I just did the Chicago shit. We was out in the streets, and I had a ball as cold as it was. That weed was keeping me warm. We was walking through the streets, smoking that motherfucker tree. You know what I'm saying? Hot hell. Having a ball, man, running all over the city. So, man, it's fun.
Starting point is 00:29:36 All right. I can't believe John didn't pick Indianapolis. That would have been seventh, man. If I had another get picked, that would have been the next from my back. He forgot about the walkability, Jackson. I forgot about it. He was in a great subway sandwiches that they, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:50 the great subway. Jesus Christ, my fuck I sent me to subway. I'm trying to find a portloy sandwich. She sent me to goddamn subway. Told me to get a meatball. You're in a subway? They got some great sandwiches there.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Damn. Apropos of absolutely nothing Can I tell you about the best sandwich in history? Let's go It was from a deli in Long Beach called Hector's And we used to go eat this all the time in college It was a meatball and sausage sub So it was the hollowed out baguette
Starting point is 00:30:22 With the crispy like a po-boy type crust You know what I mean And then it was like three meatballs And then it was two sausages But sliced the long way So the sausage was like whining the fucking Bread If I didn't
Starting point is 00:30:38 needed to knock out if we stayed up for two nights straight working on shit or something i needed to knock out i would go get the fucking go get the meatball sausage from hector's and i would not wake up for 36 hours at least at least the best sandwich i ever had was a po-boy new orleans that was sold at the nastiest gas station i've ever been to in my life out i think it was like close to the airport too i just remember like they're being like a tarmac or something close anyway bro i've been trying to find that joy since motherfucking 2001, digger. Still ain't bitten to a sandwich and

Starting point is 00:32:52 They fucking put gambling. They put gambling problem in here twice, and then one of them has a fucking Kansas thing in there. All right, whatever. All right. There was one other All-Star moment that we had to talk about, which was Tyler, as is so often the case.
Starting point is 00:33:06 got the guy he planted his flag on the tweet territory for this but when introducing the r&B singer i forget her name but i guess she's julie black i had no idea who she was until tonight but lord a lord of lord a good god almighty miss julie black as she was walking out on the court the pa announcer saw two fucking full servings of gams in front of his face and his fucking voice completely stopped working tyler did tyler what did he say And joining us now for the Canadian National Anthem, it's Toronto's about, God damn!
Starting point is 00:33:43 Yeah, I felt to know, because, hey, that was a baddie. The walk was mean. The dress was fitting right. The heels was sparkling. You know what I'm saying? She was looking beautiful out there with a little shortcut. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Yeah, she came through stunting. I completely understand why he had a goddamn stroke on live television. I might not have been able to compose myself. That short hair cut go crazy, bro, because it's show the face, bro. Let your face just, you know what I'm saying? Do its thing. And then she got that heavy walk, but it's still light. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:34:16 Bro, man. She's been walking around them thighs for a long time, man. She's a professional. Canada's own. Canada's on, man. And then followed up with, was it Jewel who sang the National Anthem for America wearing the... Exactly like a...
Starting point is 00:34:36 What I think a jewel fucking national anthem sounds. That shit sounded in 1997 like a motherfucker dog. And she was wearing a 2003 all-jurgy stitched together fucking pantsuit too. Was it leather too? I think it looked leather. I don't know, bro. I guess is she the only artist from Utah in like music history? I thought she was from Alaska.
Starting point is 00:34:58 She is from Alaska. That is right. She can't be from Utah. Music's illegal in Utah, nigga. Yeah. She'd be in jail Okay Only stayed in the country where you can get pulled over
Starting point is 00:35:11 Because the fucking cop heard a saxophone Are your fucking carsmen You feel me? What is that devilry you got going on in there? The homie show tweeted We got our ass whooped in the national anthem Like Canada Fucking dog walked us
Starting point is 00:35:27 Facts, facts, facts, facts, facts, facts, facts. Wikipedia says Jewel while raised in Alaska was born in Utah So I think that's a bit of a strange. Utah's out here claiming Alaskans. That's how little musical pedigree they have. They're claiming Alaskins. Very Utah of Utah.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Shit. Crazy. That actually is offensive. Because you know, you know, you know, that's why. They're legit might not be an artist from Utah if they're digging that, you know, they're reaching for strings like that, bro. Jackson, Google famous musicians from Utah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:02 How would you fail the same? somebody asked if you were from Utah. Is there a worst stake to say you're from? If somebody asked you, I'm from Utah. Like, I'd probably mutter it. You know what I'm saying? Oh, I'd just lie. I think I would flat out lie, bro.
Starting point is 00:36:16 You know who the most famous one is? Yeah. It's Imagine Dragon. No fucking way. That's so... They do, they do make Christian camp, summer camp rock anthems, though. So it checks out now that I...
Starting point is 00:36:31 Who's number two, bro? Who's number two? too find a magic dragon. I don't even know. I mean, Google's not coming. I mean, it's given me the name, but I've never even heard of. Front of all. I might be familiar with.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Hillary Weeks. Never heard of. I'd never heard of. No. The used. No. Neon Trees had that one song that was in those commercials. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:52 What song did they have? I'm familiar with that fucking name. It's called it started with a whisper. Hmm. Yeah. Yeah. It's like a jewel. I mean, again, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:03 know what of these people. Meg and Dia Marie Osmond. Marie Osmond. Yeah, yeah. She's known. I've heard that name before. Okay. I wouldn't say she has, like, I wouldn't say that I have ever listened to her, but I know, like, the Osmond's, Donnie and Marie Osmond.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Do you know who is the, who's perhaps the most famous musician living in Utah right now? Who? The number three streamed artists in America? What? NBA young boy. He lives on Utah. He had a really fascinating interview.
Starting point is 00:37:37 I'll shoot you out of link, you know, in the group chat. I'm, I'm, I'm. There's a couple of famous ones that are on. They should have had him do the national anthem. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, what's this story? What's his story? What's his story? He didn't be a young boy.
Starting point is 00:37:53 He said, he said he went to Utah because he loves Utah and he wanted to get away from all the bullshit. He legit loves Utah, NBA young boy. He's an interesting dude. But, but my nigger, bro, you know what I'm saying? Like, being, like, how he's moved and what he's, seen and experienced dog, thank God he got the fuck out of bad rules. Yeah, yeah, for sure. I'm gonna send you out an article.
Starting point is 00:38:09 It's beautiful ass pictures with him and his girl and their kid out in the snow and shit. He loves Utah, dog. NBA young boy. He's still reckless as hell, but he's still a wild boy, but that was a great decision. I'm actually happy. That made me feel good. You're saying that.
Starting point is 00:38:25 Apparently the killers have a member or two from Utah. They're from Vegas. The killers are from Vegas. They're not from Utah. Great. Shat out. Bordering states. me thanks
Starting point is 00:38:34 well but I just like I mean you know you could have a band where the musician like grew up in Utah and then got the fuck out of there but the band is from
Starting point is 00:38:41 you know what I mean they're from Vegas so all right wow so Utah I mean literally the only thing I knew about Jewel
Starting point is 00:38:48 is she's from Alaska that's the only thing I know about Jewel she's from Alaska and Utah at least this weekend this weekend she's from Utah
Starting point is 00:38:57 you feel of me all right prior to the all star break Tyler got out Hey, listen, you guys know I'm the number one. I'm the, I'm the, the, the, uh, the, uh, oh, fuck, what was his name? Who, who was the New Year's Eve guy before, uh, Ryan Sechrest? Dick.
Starting point is 00:39:17 I don't know. Dick Clark. Dick Clark. I was about to call him Dick Van Dyke. He had a nice show, didn't he, Dick Van Dyke? What was that? Yeah, he had the Dick Van Dyke show. All right.
Starting point is 00:39:27 I'm the Dick Clark of hit tweets from Tyler. All right. I fucking, I, I keep the charts. Fucking like FDGCGYS. Spinning next up, another hit Dragonfly Jones tweet. Tyler got off an all-time hit top eight tweet ever on the DFJZ timeline and off the most random bullshit ever, which is how it always goes. I don't even know why people were talking about Chris Brown. I assume it was for something detestable.
Starting point is 00:39:53 But Tyler, just someone tweeted a video of Chris Brown dancing on stage. He said, because someone else do this. and Tyler said that's what Crash Bandicoot does if you put the controller down for a minute and it was the most spot on shit I ever heard in my life.
Starting point is 00:40:13 No, the Crash Bandicoot account hit me up in all types of shit. But yeah, it was the worst fucking dance sequence I might have ever seen, you know, from someone who's supposed to be
Starting point is 00:40:25 a music superstar. And the person posted it was trolling. They were like, can Beyonce do this? I don't think so. They were just clowning. they were trying to get Chris Brown fired up. And it worked because everyone was clowning that shit. You know, I didn't even think that shit was going to go as viral as it did. Like I said, all my shit that go super bar will be like throwaways.
Starting point is 00:40:40 You know what I mean? Like the ones that I'm thinking, oh, this is comedic genius right here. Like, 48 retweets. You know what I'm saying? You're too smart, bro. Like, you say some shit that people don't really understand how funny it is. But yeah, like, bro, anything you say about Crash Bandicoot, I have never heard anybody use that and it not be funny.
Starting point is 00:40:59 You know what I mean? Crash Bandicoot? Perfect. Ten for ten. That thing was funny as hell. And it's true, bro. God damn. That's exactly what he did, bro. This choreographer, bro. Polly was playing that game was like, that shit gotta go crazy, dagger. Let me get that little floop in that bin, you feel me?
Starting point is 00:41:19 That shit was funny as hell, dog. Seeing the official Crash Bandicoot account tweet you gave me like a 2009 Twitter rush when you'd be like, oh, out Wendy's really, really, really. responded to me. You know what I mean? Back when we thought brands weren't the worst things in the world, you know? But Crash Brandicoot took me right back to it. It was like, the Crash Bandicoot tweeted the Tyler. The Crash Bandicoot. That's funny they have a social media, a social account. Like, is it still popping?
Starting point is 00:41:49 Like, my motherfuck are still playing Crash Bandicoot? They got a new game out on PlayStation, I think not that long ago because I was trying to get Vinny into it and it didn't catch. It didn't catch. Yeah. Good for Vinny. He likes actually good games. We have evolved. Like that might have been the shit in 98, but bro, we didn't came a long way. Yeah, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:08 There's better shit out than Crash Bandicoot right now. I went crazy with it back in the day, though. Yeah, Vinny's too. Vinny just wants to pretend he's in the NBA or the Major League Baseball. That's all he's interested in doing. Love it, bro. Did you all see the app feature that Adam Silver debuted where you can scan yourself and it'll put you in the NBA Highland? With a Mario.
Starting point is 00:42:30 Yeah, what do you think of that? Can you picture yourselves actually doing that? How does it exactly put you in the hotline as a player as a fan or what? It puts you in there as a player. You can like scan. You have someone like do the phone to the sides of your face to kind of like map what you look like. And then, I mean, if it really works the way they did it, it'll do your whole fit. It'll do your whole fit.
Starting point is 00:42:50 The AI will put you, you could pick a player on the court and it'll be like, Tyler's going to be honest today. And then it's like you over his proportions like, doing shit in the game. Like it was in the live game too. Wasn't it, John? Yeah, I don't know if it was a live game. I didn't, I just thought it was. I thought it was a replay.
Starting point is 00:43:09 I thought it was a replay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I don't know. I mean, it'll be fun to fuck Vinny's head up with it one night. You know what I mean? If it actually works well or whatever. But it was, it seems like a lot of technology for something I can't actually imagine people.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Is it the same tech as AR? Is that the same tech they're using for this? No, it's basically deep fake technology. It's just like they're going to map your, I mean, it's actually exactly what deep fake technology is. You're just having an AI in real time map out your contours over, you know, existing video of somebody else. Okay. I thought that augmented reality they were using stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:43:43 But yeah, that makes sense. We should get, we should get Rod that. Rod that probably knows more about all that shit than the three of us combined. You don't want to, she ain't fucking with us right now, though. She had a son me all weekend. She had a long weekend. Right, right. She did her time to herself.
Starting point is 00:43:59 She's earned it. You earned it, babe. He's like, oh, my God. We're going to see a vase come flying in. Right, right, right, right. All right, let's talk about Jalen Rose saying that men should be paying $100 per haircut. Haircut shaming, essentially. I think he said $200, right?
Starting point is 00:44:22 Oh, Lord Jesus Christ. Which, I mean, his barber earns every penny of that because that motherfucker shouldn't be on point. I'm not paying $200 for no goddamn haircut. What you mean? You know, I'd tell you that much. But, I mean, if you're Jalen Rose, that motherfucker's made like $100 million. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:44:40 Still making millions. Still making money bread broadcasting. $200 ain't shit. You know, that, so. Bro, he might forget $200 and not ever remember it. You know what I mean? Like, he can leave $200 around and be like, oh, shit. Like, and we'll never think, oh, that $200 at all, bro.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Like, he's so, I mean, that's nothing to him. So I don't. For me, bro, like Tyler said, ain't no motherfucking way. I mean, these LA haircuts be busting my ass, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think I was paying 35 when I left St. Louis, and they was charged to hit me for, like, the 40. No, I was paying 25 in St. Louis.
Starting point is 00:45:14 35 in Atlanta and twice as much now, bro. Nigger, they hit me for some, you know what I mean? I'm like, bro. So, no way. This is about as high as I'm going up and start cutting my own shit. Yeah, I mean, I think it's just part of his brand. Like, you know, there's, there's some guys who are hair guys
Starting point is 00:45:31 or some guys who are suit guys in the public eye like I don't think anyone would be upset if there was a suit dude out here like I pay $2,000 a suit, you know, for my suits. You know, so a motherfucker who was, you know, for throwing that shit on. We'd be like, yeah, that sounds about right. And $200 for a Jalen Rose hair
Starting point is 00:45:45 because sounds about right to me too. You feel what me so? I feel like, yeah, Jaylon Rose has become what, what's your board name was? That's Steve Harvey. You know what I mean? Like he's become what, I think Steve Harvey shit was fake. Somebody told me that he had like a
Starting point is 00:45:59 like a little bloop he was putting on. It wasn't his actual hair. That's wild. But anyway, but, uh, right. He had a,
Starting point is 00:46:07 had his something. The nigger version, dog. He had the, he had a lace front. Bro, it was the exact same shit for a long time, no,
Starting point is 00:46:15 dog. Like, he never receded. It just, this when he put it off. Bro, it never receded. All of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:46:22 he was just bald. You know what I mean? He just disappeared. So I don't know, bro. But, uh, I think Jalen got that type of shit.
Starting point is 00:46:29 You know how some people had a hair that if they any bar like you got to be a fucking horrible barber to mess that line up like god crafted that line for you you know what i'm saying it should be easy to make his hair look how it looks you know i don't think you need a he could get a dude to you know pay six he had a same cut as he's paying 200 you know i mean but like he just got that special hair line bro ain't ain't many people like him jela uh what's name got it too um jason tatum jason tatum got the same shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's right, like the line is carved
Starting point is 00:47:02 on a molecular level. You could zoom in. You could get an electron microscope and it would still, you zoomed in, it wouldn't be it still would be any, right. And it ain't got a lot to do with the barber. It's the guy that touched him. You know what I mean? His airline special. All right. Before we
Starting point is 00:47:19 before we get out of here, we have to talk about John's experience as a new Pilates' aficionado. I'm going to be honest. What's what you, bro. I work out a lot, dog. You know what I mean? Like, hard.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me, John is a workout person to the extent that, as we've discussed on the pod, he has days he's allowed to eat carbohydrates. He has days he's, like, John takes his shit seriously, bro. My G. And that shit, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, my motherfucking ass, dog. I was in there, bro. I was in there, bro.
Starting point is 00:47:57 I'm going back because I need to redeem myself, dog. I went out sad, bro. I'm in there. They got bungee's and hooked. Shit hooked up to this motherfucking contraption and whatnot, dog. I'm like, I forget what it's called. This shit sound like, it look and sound like some shit that you would put somebody on to torture them. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:48:18 In the 1700s or something, dog. To find out who is trying to blow up the castle. Right. You know what I'm saying? Dog, it was crazy, bro. I'm in there going. I'm breathing. A.
Starting point is 00:48:27 You got a picture of me, and I'm sitting here. Hell of focus, dog. I look over to my right. All the women, stale face, nigga. I'm dripping sweat. Bro, they are so much stronger than us. It was embarrassing. Bro, I walked out of there looking down.
Starting point is 00:48:43 I ain't one of my living in my face, thinking. Bro, it was crazy, G. I'm going back to get right. But it's like, you know, it's different strength. Like, I feel like lifting weights to the shit I'd be doing. It's not practical. Like, it's strong in a different way. It's not really like the type.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Pilates is like more practical to me. These are muscles and things you'll be like that'll help you help you like in every day I think. You know what I mean? Like I'm not going to be, when would I ever need to get 225 pounds off my chest? Like if I'm at that situation, I'm in dire fucking knee, bro.
Starting point is 00:49:14 You know what I'm saying? Like something really wrong has happened for me to get in that situation. How many times are you getting 2.25 off your chest just to finish the humble rag out? 10 or 12, man. You know what I mean? being on the day, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:49:29 I don't feel it. How much of that, the babies, you know, baby juice I had the amino acids? No, but like, you know, like, but, uh, no. Jay, you're trying to slide that here. How many times do I need to bench press 400 people? No, hell, no. I'm being, I'm being real, though.
Starting point is 00:49:45 You feel me? Like, but when you do, but when you, like, the shit they were doing was like stuff that you would use every day. So, like, there's a different types of strength, and I think that's more practical. You know what I mean? The core and, like, the agility,
Starting point is 00:49:57 you know flexibility all that type of shit so I'm definitely adding it to my workout bro I'm gonna go like once a week we gotta get right bro I can't be out here looking like you know looking like that at a workout class dog they was whew then white woman had me looking bad dog
Starting point is 00:50:10 oh yo bro I believe the machine is called a reformer reformer bro that's the name dog I'm telling you bro bro they were like they were like I'm not paying someone money to put me on the reformer strap your leg down and grab the the the
Starting point is 00:50:26 bro, I'm like, nigga, what? You know what I'm saying? Like, okay. We're doing all this. It was like four different workouts and one exercise. My whole shit getting beat up, nigga. You know what I'm saying? Now we're pulsing one and two and slow down. And I'm like, nigga, bro. I can't go no slower. I was praying, bro.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Did you give it up? Did you tell the conquistador where you hit the fucking poison? I would have been a snitch, motherfucker. You feel me? A rat-ass. nigga in that situation. Hey, that's what they need to do. The government needs to start
Starting point is 00:51:00 getting Pilates teachers. How these motherfuckers do Pilates. They want to get the information out of these motherfuckers. Had that nigga pulse in the motherfucking deadlift. You feel what I'm saying? The Duke and the Duchess
Starting point is 00:51:12 are safe tonight. Right, right. You feel me? At least for the next fortnight. You know what I'm saying? Gawley. But anyway, Tyler talked about yoga, too.
Starting point is 00:51:22 We were talking about before, bro. Yoga be beating my ass too, dog that shit crazy ain't it Tyler yeah yoga beat my ass bro I only did that shit once in my life my wife does that shit all the time only did it once um during our honeymoon in hawaii it was like some some outside shit right and I was like yeah you know if I'll fuck with it you know woke up early went outside you know barefoot right right we were like like not really on the beach but like by the coast and shit yeah and it was you know a beautiful scenery and that shit was hell I was like bro there was a point where I just stopped during the whole
Starting point is 00:51:56 I just laid on my back with like, like, bro, I am in a beautiful, I am in fucking paradise right now and I'm putting myself through this bullshit. I just relaxed and laid the fuck down and just like gazed at the clouds and was looking at birds and shit, bro. I tap the fuck out on yoga, dog. So I know Pilates would beat my ass. Pilates is yoga with weight, with the resistance. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:52:18 And yoga to me is hard. It's helping my ass with whenever I did yoga. But I used to do it like once a week. And for me, it was like helping me to, it helped me like my mental strength because like everybody's hurting. You know what I mean? It's like, how long can you hold this position?
Starting point is 00:52:32 You know what I mean? And it's really mental. You know, can I leave this place and get away from this and ignore the pain for like, what, a minute or whatever, how long, two minutes you have to hold the shit? You feel me? Also, it's great for flexibility
Starting point is 00:52:46 and agility and all that type of shit. But yeah, man, this was basically yoga with resistance, dog. and I was like, the lady had to like, lady was like grabbing my leg to like straighten it out. Like, no, this is how you do it. I'm like, I'm getting my ass with this part. We're doing it, you know, this way. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:53:02 But it was wild looking over and looking at folks and they were stale face. You feel me? Like there was times and there was obviously, you know, pushing themselves, but I was shaking. Okay? I was like, my core was like pulsating, nigga. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:53:19 Crazy. I'm going back though. Got to redeem myself, man. I respect that. I respect you not wanting to leave one on the court like that. I would encourage either you, next time you're in Long Beach, there's a great multicultural experience here called yoga on the bluff, which is like it's a park on the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean in Long Beach. You have people of every race and background and financial standing there doing yoga together. It's not for me.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I'm going to tap in with Tyler on that. I would say that can I do an SAT analogy? Go ahead. Okay. Cancelling plans with someone you didn't really want to hang out with is to weed as giving up on a yoga pose is to black tar heroin. Like, like, like giving up on a yoga pose that hurts mid pose is the best feeling. It's the, it's addicting. I've done exactly what Tyler was talking about. Like in the studio to quit. Like you go just to quit. Yeah. When we get that body now feels hot right now. When you still chilling and they moved on to another, to another exercise, you're like, boy, y'all dumb as fuck. I'm living the good life.
Starting point is 00:54:29 I could not imagine. Look at you trying. Stupidity. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy, dog. But yeah, man. Only rush I ever experienced like that was dropping out of grad school.
Starting point is 00:54:42 You know what I mean? Second only to dropping out of grad school. It's such a good feeling when you realize, bro, I really do not have to do whatever this is that I'm doing. Right, right. right? That's a great fucking feeling. Liberation. Man, who am we? Who am we to talk shit on these NBA dudes for not fucking with the All-Sysugger?
Starting point is 00:54:58 Am I put the fuck out of that shit too? Right. Shit, she, she, she. I quit on a dunk in mid-air, bro. You know what I mean? Like, I'm good, bro. I started counting zeros up here. I'm good, fam.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Bro, I've started stories and quit in the middle. Like, I don't want to do this anymore. And it felt great. I'm like, do I have to finish this? I don't, I've literally done. that while telling a story. You have to finish, I don't want to finish this anymore.
Starting point is 00:55:23 You know what I mean? Quitting is great. All right. Thanks, you're hanging out with us. Let's quit the pod right now. How about that? We'll be back on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:55:31 That's all the time. You know what? That's not all the time we have because it's nighttime. That's all the energy we have for tonight. We'll see y'all on Thursday. There we go. Bye.
