Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, it's us The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:08 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, S&L's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
Starting point is 00:00:44 help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Podcast. What's up, fam?
Starting point is 00:01:00 It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, Point Game, the playoffs. We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was crying. You just understood. That's how personal it got.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Wow. Then after that game seven, Marquis come until he's like, you know I love you, dog. You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball. So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your There are times when the mind becomes a difficult place to live. This is David Eagleman with the Inner Cosmos podcast, and for Mental Health Awareness Month,
Starting point is 00:01:38 we'll talk with singer-songwriter Jewel about anxiety. I started living in my car, and then my car got stolen. I was having panic attacks. I was agoraphobic. This is a month of deeply personal and honest conversations about what happens when the brain goes off course. Listen to Inner Cosmos on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcasts. I told you from the second we came on this shit,
Starting point is 00:02:05 I want to smoke. We're not playing this shit for, like we're here to be number one. Yeah, yeah, what up, y'all? This is Joe Crack, and I'm the beloved of all beloveds. Yeah, you know who it is, your boy, Jada.
Starting point is 00:02:31 This is the Joe and Jada show. Crack was good. Unapologetic, never given a fuck. I've been outside. Jada, you was on vacation. Well, how was vacation? I was on a cruise ship, man. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:02:45 With the family. Shout out to my mom, dad, my aunts, uncles, cousins. Oh, so you had everybody outside. Friends. Yeah, we was on carnival. I was blending in for the first couple of days. So they put the word out. They figured out Jada kiss is on the boat.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah, there was somebody on TikTok or Facebook told us. They had a day demo. and all that they had their demos? No, they wasn't really bothering. More pitches than anything. It was cool, though. It was nice. I was relaxing.
Starting point is 00:03:20 For years, see, my thing is, I'm cool with taking picks. I'm cool with saying, what's up? I don't want you all to take this the wrong way because without the fans, we ain't nobody, but I don't really want to hear your story like that.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Like, I don't want to meet a time. It's a time and place for everything. Yeah, I don't want to be in the air. It feel like at least 10 people a day want to tell me their Zodiac sign, their Social Security number. Yo, bro, I don't need all that shit right now. Bro, like, it's like, you want to pick,
Starting point is 00:03:54 yo, crack, I fuck with you. Cool, let's do that. But I don't want to hear your story. Yo, my name is Emilio, Bolthazar. I went to, I went to Syracuse. Yo, bro, no, I mean, no disrespect. We really have love for you. I hope is nobody.
Starting point is 00:04:14 That really name is a million-o-old-a-old-s-s-a-old. I don't know. I'm not saying I just made that up. What I'm trying to say is, I don't know about you. Like, so you stuck on the boat. Did you get that? What dude just ear hustling?
Starting point is 00:04:27 Yeah, I got, it was a, they're trying to work you a couple of times. You got to know how to get out of it. I'm the spin master. Yo, my mom's, I got to go to Bing. That's what I'm trying to say. Try to get out of it. Like, people ask me about that.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And I say I could tell the crazy ones. The worst shit is this. I know you on vacation. I don't want to bother you. You know what I was hitting on with? Then why are you bothered? That shit was killed. No, they get mad at that.
Starting point is 00:04:56 They get mad at it. They just hit you with that. I'm hitting the fact with you. I've had sorry I know you eating and the lady sit down next to me. But let's just take a selfie. I had everything. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:07 But me personally with all my. years of experience, I know a crazy guy or a crazy girl when they come in. The ones that want to talk a hole in your head, I know how to tap them and just spin them. Like, you said spin was perfect because if I'm walking, I'm almost like skiing down the slope. If I see a crazy, I could see crazy. I know crazy. It happened to me today. I ran across the street too early.
Starting point is 00:05:32 The guy was like, crack. I said, shoon, right across the street. Like, so I know how to speak. Spin them, yo, keep going. Yeah, because once again, my biggest problem I got with famous success is when people want to break down their life story to me. I'm not too interested at that. I got to keep it real with you.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I just, it's something I'm not interested in. You know, we heard great news about Dionne Sanders. Coach Prime, he does it again. unbelievable. It's a blessing, man. So I heard rumors of him being sick and all that I didn't know it was that serious.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Yeah. Oh, and Coach Prime removed the tumor from his bladder. Still, they removed his blood and made him a new one. It's incredible. God is great. That's 2025 shit, huh? God is phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:06:32 And then you've seen, we didn't know, maybe you think she's his best friend or what? You seen Karucci crying hysterically. in the yo, yo, yo, no. Yo, listen. Y'all, Jay. I'm like, I'm like thinking, yo,
Starting point is 00:06:48 Dionne Sanders might be that guy, right? Like, because how old is Dionne Sanders? How old is Dionne Sanders? He's sitting over there three years through 60 with one of the most beautiful chicks in the world crying hysterical. He might be that guy. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:07:08 I mean, he's that guy right now. There's some guys who was the guy. There's some guys who might have had their time. That guy currently has one of the most beautiful women in the world crying hysterical for him in his bedside. I mean, the man, all right, we'll move on from that. But the thing, you know, hip-hop, if we just keeping it a buck, has been really, really trash. and I've noticed that there was such a need for a classic album, for a real hip-hop album,
Starting point is 00:07:48 that the clips came out sold 118,000. First week without like a major hit on the radio or anything like that, I've been stuck to this album. I've been stuck to everything about this item from the production of to these guys, this guy malice, they're 52 and 48. Now, it doesn't mean every old school guys start thinking you're going to pop or whatever the case may be, but the way these guys are spitting on that album, I mean, what's your favorite thing about the album?
Starting point is 00:08:28 The rollout. A rollout was impeccable. Most best rollout in a long time. Great. Especially to go with the middle. And, you know, anytime you connected to Farrell right now, Ferrell is... Goatley.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Yeah. So, you know, it was beautiful. It was good as a win by our type of music. Man, I'm listening to these bars, and I ain't gonna lie to you. Drey been telling me about this rapper forever. And I'm not saying that. I'm gonna say I just ain't really dive into it too much.
Starting point is 00:09:04 But off the feature, off there, album, Scoveguard Cooks? Stovegarde. I'm looking for Stovegaw. I need Stovegarde. Oh, you need Stovegarde. I need them too. Jada, Yada, I need them too, man.
Starting point is 00:09:18 You're looking for Stovegard. I spoke to him on a FaceTime. Mayer put him on the FaceTime with me the other day. This guy. Stovegaw, hit me up. Yo, he's unconscious out there. Stovegard Cooks. I listen to his album.
Starting point is 00:09:33 He got an album called Reasonable Drout. he's spitting crazy on this album. I'm like, yo, where the fuck stove guard been? But Dre been telling me for years, Dre got beats with a stove guard. But the Clips album got me fucked up. You know what I'm saying? I'm happy.
Starting point is 00:09:55 It's a great time for hip-hop music where some guys to just stick to what they do and just keep beats and rhymes and sell, 120,000 units. They ain't had to compromise in no way. Shout out the cash money. When I came back off the cruise, I had to fly to Chicago to do the first show.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Cash money records, right? Yeah, they got... Because you know there's a guy, Cash out got triple life out there. Oh, man. Atlanta. I'm over here. I'm over here in a different space.
Starting point is 00:10:30 I'm shouting out the guys, you know what I mean? Birdman. Mani Juvie BG I ain't know what to expect Shout out to
Starting point is 00:10:41 Turk too He wasn't there Shout out to Segal My man Mack Freeway Young Gunners You know what I mean
Starting point is 00:10:51 They're on the tour To? Chris and Nick Yeah Oh man I got to go to this tour This shit is out of the troll Yard them
Starting point is 00:10:58 And so boom I don't know what to expect Because it's no we I know it's retarded But they put on the hell of it That shit was rocked Man, he curated the hell out of that show Man, they should have rocked.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Chicago showed out. Shout out to Shatown. And me, I got another one coming up in Detroit a couple more. But shout out the cash money. They put the hell of a show on. Jovee got some missed.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Jovee, Jovee is a bad motherfucker Yeah, Jovey was, you know. Bad men. Missiles. Missiles. Missile. That shit was rocking. So you think even though, well, you know.
Starting point is 00:11:42 No, with addition to wheezy, the screws is out of the building. But they still, it still was very loose. It was rocking. You know, I've seen all our WNBA sisters. They ain't left in the club, no, no, they was, not that. Yo, I'm over there. Yeah, you got to stop. They got, you better respect.
Starting point is 00:12:02 The woman, any girl, any ladies from the W is allowed at any club. But the major statement they made was, pay us what you owe us. I like that. Pay them. Pay the lady. So you see somebody like Caitlin Clark who generates so much money for the WNBA. She only gets $76,000 a year. If she make more money on the endorse.
Starting point is 00:12:26 They sold her rookie card for $660,000. Imagine that, right? I've been telling Jada that forever. Like, if we got money for everybody who said hello, we be trillionaires. You know, I felt like, yo, I'm way more famous than the money I got. Dick of Caitlin Clark, she gets $76,000 a year from the WMBA, and her baseball, her basketball card sold for $660,000 a year. I mean, what's the discrepancy in that?
Starting point is 00:12:58 It's going to take time. They're going to get paid, though. They got to get the big TV. contract first. They might be the Magic Johnson. Magic Johnson only got one million and they made the biggest deal out of it. And then now you got the bum on the bench, make a 60 million a year. Yeah, but Dr. Jerry Buster told Magic he was going to take care of him and look for it.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Oh, no, no, no, no. He took care of magic. I'm just saying Magic out of a time. Somebody got to pay the dues for the, I mean? Somebody got to go through a rough time for it to be Sunshine. Hey, yo, shout out the Flojo by album. 32 years, right, from my first album. Today?
Starting point is 00:13:37 Yes. Wow. Let's make some noise for that. Green army suit. Rest and peace, my brother Raul. Rest and peace, he is, Raul birthday today, man. He died today, too, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is his birthday today.
Starting point is 00:13:51 We go to war with a bottle. We go to war with the bottom. I mean? You know what I'm saying? That on the drag on, he go to war with a bottle. That was crazy. You know, Flojo, the video, you know, I'm in the streets.
Starting point is 00:14:06 The minute I get my deal, you're real. No, no. I'm like a, no, no, because I'm really like, it don't work the way it worked for me. Like, so that's why I know God is too real, because I really sign my deal and change my life like a Cinderella or, like, I really stop hustling.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Like I said, y'all, I'm going over here. Don't tell me nothing. Somebody robbed this spot, somebody this. Leave me alone. my guys were still in Lamborghinis and Benz's and beavers and this. I went over here to make music, right? So I left the drug game completely. My guys was like, I'm going to a club with them. They pretty much holding me down because they pop in the bottles now
Starting point is 00:14:53 and people still thinking Joe got it because, you know, I'm with them. But they're in the street. I'm not in the street. We go around that time I get shot, right? I got shot twice. Listen, the moral to the story is, if you watch Bronx tell nephew, when he used to chase the guy every day, they owed him $12. And one day, Sonny told him, yo, you got rid of him for $12.
Starting point is 00:15:19 That's the truth. The dude who shot me on me $10. I'm walking around with thousands in my pockets, beamed his and benzos every day. I kept picking on him. So one day he was sitting out there. He was like, yo, he had that deranged face. Long story short is, I get shot, right? And I never forget, rest of peace, Chris Lighty, he signed me.
Starting point is 00:15:42 He came to the hospital. He was like, yo, you can still rap? I said, yeah, he just walked out. Yo, the nick crazy. I was like, yo, what? It wasn't getting well. Nothing. It was like, you can still rap.
Starting point is 00:15:54 I was like, yeah. He was like, all right. He was out. The craziest shit is, at the time, I'm finishing up my album, Flojo about to come out. So we're about to shoot the video. Let's just say Sunday.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Saturday I get wind of the guy who shot me was working at a 24-hour spot in Hunt's Point. So I'm out there in the hooty. Stashcar. I'm out there in the hootty. And I'm staring at this building. I'm waiting for this dude to come out. Right?
Starting point is 00:16:27 Because anyway, y'all could assume, right? Thank God. the band never comes out to build and never came out to building. So I've been living on my own since I'm like 14. So I live in Thrasnick. I got the crib in Thrasnick.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I was so tired. My eyes was this. And in the morning, I'm shooting the video to Flojo. That morning, I'm shooting the video to Flojo. And so for the first time ever, I go to the projects, my mother's house. I still got the key. I open the door, 5E.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I go sleep on the couch. no more than an hour, two hours later, six in the morning. They kicked the door and boom, boom, boom, police. Boom, fans. I never forget. They put my mother there. They put my sister there. I'm looking out the window and on the handball court,
Starting point is 00:17:17 they got the in memory of Tony, my best friend who just was killed. So I'm into so much shit. I thought I'm gone forever, the way they came. Right? So I'm there. They handcuffed me. my sister. I'm telling my sister, my mother,
Starting point is 00:17:31 you're relaxed. Don't worry this, this, that. But I really don't know what the fuck going on. Right? But I've been clean for like a year and a half. So they finally come up to me. And I'm hearing on the walkie-talkies, they're like, just got Dian Thu, just got flaco, just got, like, this shit was like a RICO.
Starting point is 00:17:49 They locking everybody up. And all the names I know. So I'm sitting there like this. Damn, I got to shoot. I thought they planned it because I'm shooting Flojo in the morning. So the cops come over and they go like this. And they got a big picture, but it's a picture of my brother. And they're like, yo, it's not him.
Starting point is 00:18:09 He's like, this ain't true. I was like, nah, that's my brother. My brother happened to be in Santa Domingo on vacation. At that time, they wouldn't extradite you back for Santa Domingo. So I'm standing there and the guy shows me the picture. The moral to the story is the man says, yo, let me ask you a question. I said, well, he said, what you was doing at Hunt's point last night
Starting point is 00:18:29 to like four in the morning. He was like, we was behind you. And I said, yo, man, I got a girlfriend. I heard she was fucking the dude. You know, I'm jealous. So I went out there to see if I see him. You know, if I would have seen the guy and allegedly blamed him,
Starting point is 00:18:46 I would have did it right in front of the police. These are different steps in my life where I felt like divine intervention. I felt like God was there and made sure. The next morning we shot Flojo. Crazy shit. We got a dude that had a jacket on and said, Money Man, rest of peace, my brother,
Starting point is 00:19:03 with the hoodie on acting like he's my brother in the video. My brother, he was in something that I mean, couldn't make the video. But changed my life. 32 years later, we hear, thank God, you know, for anybody who had anything to do with the album represent. Ew. That's a true story, bro.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Shout out the flow Joe, man. I was thinking the other day. I seen a guy, right, who said, what's that dude? Fat boy. Yes, I see. So he's on there. I posted it yesterday.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I reposted it. He's on there saying, yo, your biggest haters be the guys that used to be down with you. He's like, because they know the gig is up, the show's over.
Starting point is 00:19:44 When you cut them off, they thought they meant something, but you're the show. You keep on going. That's why they be hating on you. Have you ever had that experience? It always happens, man. You know, when you give somebody
Starting point is 00:19:57 the golden scissors, they got to the golden scissors they got to put some hate out there do we ever think about what it feels like to be them I don't think we ever I think they might have stole
Starting point is 00:20:09 they might have did this they might have did that they earned it. But do you know it's a blackout like after that you know because by the fault we're chilling
Starting point is 00:20:19 we ain't lobster we ain't sushi and chilling all of a sudden because you with the big boys girls think you cute you know Oh, you getting girls, you this, you this, that one.
Starting point is 00:20:31 This shit is lights out. It's lights out. And you back to the couch? As you think I let know, yeah. The lights is out. Fucking permanently. I don't think they understand that the lights is out means. And so it's crazy because when God's go broke, man, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:51 when he got to sell that PlayStation. Yeah. That's DefCon 12. and you got to sell a PlayStation is DefCon 12. They knew you use character and they blame everybody but dumb. No accountability.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I must get for a PlayStation. Yo, bro, let me tell you. The last thing a guy want to do is sell the PlayStation. Yo. Hey, yo. Yo, kiss. What the fuck is?
Starting point is 00:21:21 They blame everybody but themselves. If you got to sell you a PlayStation, to finish. What are you going to get for a PlayStation anymore? What are the PlayStation's going for now? Not myself.
Starting point is 00:21:37 It's going to sell, but where they're going to be enough to help you out. Well, nobody ever blames themselves. You know what I'm saying? I remember through this industry, I myself applied the pressure on certain individuals to where I knew we had beef.
Starting point is 00:21:55 I didn't want to see them get successful. And so I was applying the different type of pressure, right? Because I knew this, you know, and then bigger guys I got into B-Witt, they applied the pressure on me. Like, they got, you know, I had, you know, million-dollar sneaker deals. And dudes I had B-FWitt made a phone call was like, yo, we ain't fucking with you and we get fat Joe that billion-dollar deal and the deal disappeared. And the executive said, yo, I ain't know you had beef with. Such and such and such as such as they made the call like, yo, don't give me that back.
Starting point is 00:22:32 But I never once in my life cried and said, yo, they stop in me. They just, because I realized calm is karma. I realize it's going to come back the same way. You suppress that guy. You got suppressed by the higher force. You know, and so you got to accept accountability. And so guys, you know, you make the move,
Starting point is 00:22:54 or girls, you make the move, and it don't pan out. Oh, you can't come back. It ain't no due office. Golden scissors. Golden sisters. Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
Starting point is 00:23:15 What's the news, huge news? We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up? with the name Hey Jonas, guys. I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. We were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down?
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, for people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform?
Starting point is 00:24:31 We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect. We were God's chosen, kingdom on earth. He felt destined for greatness.
Starting point is 00:24:51 So when a swaggering Armenian businessman catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world, he doesn't look back. Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey. I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across. When Jacob met Levin this went to a billion dollar fraud.
Starting point is 00:25:14 But with two kings from entirely different worlds, just how long can their empire survive? The largest tax investigation in American history. You need to tell me what you know. Is somebody coming after me? Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my. my life. Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:25:39 podcast. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the plays, the controversies,
Starting point is 00:25:57 and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves. their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context, and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sportslice brings you closer to the action with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:26:28 And for more, follow Timbo Slices Life 12 in the TikTok podcast. Network on TikTok. What about this guy? Shot up the building and killed a police officer. And just somebody else. CTE. CTE. He was trying to get to the NFL headquarters.
Starting point is 00:26:48 He did. He ain't make it to the floor. He went to the wrong floor? No. He went to the lobby. So everybody killed in the lobby? The people he killed was in the lobby. He never made it to the floor.
Starting point is 00:27:01 No, I think he made it to the 32nd floor or something. And he died right there. But he ain't make it to the actual, that was the wrong, that ain't where the NFL headquarters was at, though, right? Let me tell you something. Never in my life, CTE. You know, they got that,
Starting point is 00:27:17 he had CTE. But let me tell you. He think he had CTE. I don't know if I want to go there because a lot of things now that I'm watching in real life, in the media and all that, with politics,
Starting point is 00:27:32 the current events and stuff. This all feels like a Jason Bourne movie. Like Jason Bourne, they're like, oh, terrorists here. This was their own guy, Jason Bourne. Right? So the guy went to the NFL building, but there's also other companies in that building that run the world.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Armies and medias and this and this and this and that. And if you're watching Jason Bourne like me, the easiest thing to do is the NFL's here, all right, though the E, CTE in his pocket, you know, we good to go because it was some serious players in that building. And when the guy's walking in
Starting point is 00:28:16 with a fucking AR-15 in the middle down, man, he, yo, let me tell you, that boy was like, he was like, la la la la la la la la la la. Like, this guy is walking. Walking through the streets and man. Now, I told Rich because Rich said,
Starting point is 00:28:36 yo, he's a coward. He's a pussy. He killed himself. He should have shot it out with the cops. This, this, that. But you know what happens to these guys, right? Sometimes they don't die. Sometimes they get to shoot out with the cops.
Starting point is 00:28:52 They get shot 30, 40, 50 times. And they don't die. And they don't want to go to jail for life. They already made up their mind. I'm going to do some crazy shit. I got to kill myself. It is what it is. But, you know, I mean, that's why those guys kill themselves.
Starting point is 00:29:08 They know I fucked up. I don't want to be in jail the rest of my life. They throw you in jail in a white room where you can't kill yourself. You stuck for life. This is real shit. This is why these guys kill himself. It's better than being dead. Listen, let me tell you something about the podcast world.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Can't kill yourself. We came for Joe Rogan. Shoot it out. For all of them. We come in the podcast world. We're coming for all of them. So we can talk about you ever seen Joe Robbins. He'll talk to you about the stars, the galaxy, the politics, the food, the water, the rap.
Starting point is 00:29:43 He didn't talk about, I'm ready to talk about everything. The podcast media. Now, do we care? James, volume, you might say, Joe, you bugging out, but do we care? They care. They got the people choice podcast awards coming up. Of course we get. We need votes.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Will we win? Probably not. Will we need votes any? Yeah, but you know what I believe in. I believe in the power of the people. People power is the most incredible power in the world. When you walk the streets and the streets are saying, yo, I'm addicted to this podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I love this part. When the people are telling you, when you go to church, when you go, I went through Brooklyn, I went through Harlem, I went through the Bronx, All they were saying is, yo, the podcast this, the podcast this, the podcast this. So we got the people, right? And so these lists, you know, these the same list we curse out. Let's not get excited because they put us on the, what was it, the complex media.
Starting point is 00:30:49 It's not the same list. It's totally different list. Yeah, but it's the same people. Should we be excited? Should we be excited to Shannon Shaw? who cracked the internet with the cat Williams and he's on fire. Is that number 14 looking over his shoulder
Starting point is 00:31:07 because we have 15 in three months? Or everybody on that list, they're looking like, pause, we on their ass, number one with a bullet boy, the boys are looking like, yo, what? Do we respect the list?
Starting point is 00:31:23 If you tell me we respect the list, then I go. You got to respect that. Well, we number 15 on the list. of media and everybody on that list is somebody and better be careful because we're coming like I'm not look I'm competitive guys yo listen I'm competitive I told you from the second we came on this shit I want to smoke I told them all I don't give a fuck no matter what we're not playing this shit for like we we here to be number one
Starting point is 00:32:00 sell some rewinded, some kiss cafe, some sorrisa-ram. Why fight the time? Why you could rewind the time? We're here to be number one. Right? So all of you guys, you watch your back because we're coming. And I don't care. Like, I'm being honest with you.
Starting point is 00:32:18 You do whatever you want you just. Be lucky, be everything. Everybody just got to it before us. Be lucky, be everything. That's a lot of lucky guys. Because we choose to come on here for the love. or hip hop. Hey, I make a fool of myself
Starting point is 00:32:32 every now and then. I smell good. I'm rich. I'm flat. My suntan is so legend. My pole is big. My car's big, boss.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Like, I'm really, I really drive the big boy down Harlem, the Bronx. I don't give a fuck. My shit's inspiring. So I do this to inspire the people. So it's like you can't unconfidence,
Starting point is 00:32:59 you can't tell me, you can't, if you just got money and you're trying to front, like, yo, bro, we've been shitting on dudes for 30. The bitch of me and you took when you were, you was chubby. Like, fat joke. Well, how many years ago was that? Years.
Starting point is 00:33:15 2004, so wild shit. We've been in big bodies for so long. Like, if you got a couple of dollars, like, you get what I'm saying? Exactly. And so I'm saying, I come. Whether it was the streets, no, I'm being honest. Whether it's the streets, whether it's rap, you know, I am delusional.
Starting point is 00:33:38 We've been getting money for a long time, man. Let me explain, kids. I am delusional, right? Because when I came in the game, we talked about Flojo. I was like, bus it, check it, watch how I wreck it. I had to step my game up every album every year. But in my house where I had the one-in-one, you know, my apartment was a one-in-one, one-bedroom, one bath. That was the
Starting point is 00:34:03 little joint. No furniture in there. Just the mattress. Right? And I'm writing and I got a poster of Jay-Z on the refrigerator, one of NOS, one of Eminem, and I'm delusional
Starting point is 00:34:19 enough to think I'm competing with these guys. I'm like, if I ain't as good as done, I can't, you know, I had to switch it up from bus and check it. Right? To to come with hustling is the key to success and shit like that. But when we're in the podcast game,
Starting point is 00:34:38 I had the beef with Jay-Z. I had the beef with 50 cents. I had the beef with the biggest guys in the world. To me to put out, for you to put out, why? For me to put out lean back, number one in the, like, do you know what type of competition we in? So I'm letting these podcast dudes know it's in front of me. You're on the refrigerator now.
Starting point is 00:35:05 The refrigerator is just surrounded by marble and fucking fixtures and shit like that. But you're on the refrigerator. So when I see your little smirks and all that, just know that shit coming down. We're ripping that shit. This whole game is fucked up. We are not playing. Y'all better hope some shit happened. Jada says he quit.
Starting point is 00:35:29 because Fat Joe did too much, something, because we got three months in, we got another one, we got nine, or you guys in trouble? Because we're gonna bring. We got nine more months? Yeah, because I figured it out. 100 episodes.
Starting point is 00:35:46 I figured it out. I'm telling you, Jay. I didn't even tell you. No, I'm just saying to win the- I'm telling me different. No. No, no, we're talking about winning the fucking, we're talking about with, fuck, 100 episodes.
Starting point is 00:35:59 We, that's a different talk. We're talking about the list. He lost. No, the loss is what? Every year? The list. How often that list come? Just making, man,
Starting point is 00:36:12 I've never even heard of the People's Choice Podcast Awards. We're not talking about that. We talk about the complex, the list. Where are you at with me? You smoke some crazy shit. No, even that list. If I don't give a fuck about the, no, no, I don't give a fuck about the hip-hop list
Starting point is 00:36:28 or the podcast. care for you. Oh, you can care for them. I'm telling them. Complex. Me and you, whoever the guys is a white, whatever color guys who ever made that list.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Fuck that list. Both of them. I don't give a fuck about even one of them. How do you like that? Yo, yo, yo. Leave me off the other one. I don't give a fuck about being on the other one. You should have put me on the other one.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Yeah, I'll fuck both of them. That's why I told you before I explain myself. How you feel about that? That's what the fuck I'm talking about. Yo, listen, that's that shit. You think I'll give a fuck? Fuck you.
Starting point is 00:37:11 You know, I don't care. Like, so what I'm trying to say, you know, Jay, don't put a batterer. Fuck that, litch. You know, poof-fool. Yeah. Boom, me. What?
Starting point is 00:37:24 That's the grenade. Boom. Those are razor blades so you can slit your own wrist. I don't give a fuck. You're talking. So I'm trying to be political for you. No. They're slayed off.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Follow minus, all the motherfuckers is coming off that list. I'm telling you, Shannon's Sharp right now. He's doing the heisman right now. He's like, yo. He's number 14. He got the highs up. Hey, you're messy with Uncle Shannon. No, Shannon, my guy.
Starting point is 00:37:54 He's my guy. I fuck with Shannon Sharp. I'm just trying to tell you, does anybody care about the list? Like, is there people? Because I want to know if there's people on the list looking back like, yo, they're coming. These guys are saying. And then all that other.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Tomorrow, let me tell you something. The thing I care about the list. We might not be on there tomorrow. Listen, the thing I don't, the thing that fucks me up with hip hop, right? Since day one, and shout out to Dave Mays. I love you, Dave Mays. You put on for the culture. Did you seen, Dave May.
Starting point is 00:38:25 He was at the show in Chicago. Listen, Source magazine played a huge part of their. hip-hop game, but I never respected the five mics. And I ain't disrespected. Dave May's Source Magazine, y'all paved the way. But who does them, who judges your, what backpack dude is walking around judging? You know, he might, I got to look up some of these Tupac albums,
Starting point is 00:38:53 some of these fucking albums we've been listening to what they gave Law D. We just, what's the album? We just, to that everybody in this room said rapper noise first. Everybody's fucking verse 30 years later. Infamous. What did they judge them on the source five mics?
Starting point is 00:39:13 Like, I never cared about these guys in their mess. They probably got five at the time. That's shit, but a lot of albums that shit that we do. Nause, Illmatic, Stylmatic, all that. He had to wait 30 years to win the Grammy. Look at this. Who got five? that year.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Boogly-oogly? Yo. You see what I'm saying? So I already know the bullshit. Young boy, you ain't in the game long enough. I know the bullshit. There's some guys on that list that's in front of us. Dumb niggas is emphatically non-cipher, God.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Yeah. Dumb Duce! I'm looking at him like, who the fuck is these pen-pile nick? Yo, it's out of control. It's okay. I try to play the game with him. you pick your list thank God we hear this this that
Starting point is 00:40:03 but yo it's some dudes on there I don't know what the fuck they're talking about it's okay they all coming off the board because once again I'm teaching you something Che Guevara went with Fidel Castro and took over Cuba
Starting point is 00:40:19 because the people wanted him there he left Cuba and started a revolution in a place where they didn't want him there and got killed so you got to understand When you got people power, when the people are with you, these guys, they mean nothing. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Come on, JD, you got my high blood pressure going. That shit. Blood pressure is up. No, my blood pressure is flying. Let me explain something to you, right? The other day, I'm at the pool. We play the greatest music. and the UGK
Starting point is 00:40:59 podcast that shit come on and I'm just like I can't believe how amazing that song is what song you heard maybe on vacation
Starting point is 00:41:18 that you was just like from and you was just like yo this shit is untrue like how did they make this right there that song bugs me out right and I know the original to it's the same How does that song make you feel when you hear that shit?
Starting point is 00:41:36 It don't make me feel, no. That song is just a beautiful song. But you don't feel like phenom? I feel like we know about that song. That shit's a beautiful song with Outcasting. What's the song you hear and you just be like, y'all can't believe like this shit perfection? You ain't giving it at all, huh, Jay?
Starting point is 00:41:58 To be media right now. I ain't got to be Jada the rapper, top five MC. You could just give it up. What's the song that bugs you? I mean, I told you last time, you thought you started laughing throwing the hoodie on, but I was like, this is how we do it. It's Friday night, and I'm feeling.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Every word is. It's different levels of perfection, B. No, that song is time. That song's forever. There's a lot of songs like that, though. I'm asking you. I was on a cruise ship. They playing all the type of them other kind.
Starting point is 00:42:29 the shits. Don't worry. You have a lot of some kind of shit on cruise ships. He's talking. It's playing a lot of good Jamaican songs, though, that I had in a long time. Passed a Dutchie upon the left. Passed Dutchie bunny the fence
Starting point is 00:42:43 side. Yes, past the Dutchie bunny. I'm going to tell you a song from the I was singing, um, I'm at the blackjack table singing Take your time, young man. Mama used to say, right?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Don't you last to get a junior. Look. I had a 12. I didn't hit it. The dealer turned over eight. The pit boy said, I should have hit that 12.
Starting point is 00:43:10 No. I curse that thing out. Get out the fuck out of it. The dealer said you should have hit that 12. He was like, yo, I need a new face. Yeah. You know, a lot of those guys are ugly. They stuck in the face.
Starting point is 00:43:22 They stuck in the face. A lot of them guys, when you ever know that you're gambling, they bring a pit boss, these guys are ugly, they stuck in the face. What is that? You mean it's stuck in the face. It's nothing they can do. It's stuck in it.
Starting point is 00:43:39 They born ugly. That's nothing you could do. I remember one time I forget where I was at, man. And I was in the airport and it was like one of those. I see some nice looking pit bulls. I'm just saying four in the morning. Forget the pit bulls. We got love for them.
Starting point is 00:43:54 But let's say I'm in the airport one day and I woke up. And he was a guy. sitting in front of me. And the only thing I could think was like, yo, he's stuck in his face. You can't change your face. The guy's stuck in the face. What the fuck is stuck in your face?
Starting point is 00:44:14 From now on... Everybody's stuck in their face. From now on, it's a different stuck in the face. From now on, y'all going to be walking around it when you see something? You're going to be like, yo,
Starting point is 00:44:26 that dude is stuck in the face. Ain't nothing. He better get money. because you ain't going to get what you want out of life stuck in the face. How about when you got money and you're stuck in the face? Well, you get what you want.
Starting point is 00:44:40 And he said, rich, nigger, shit, you get what you want. When you rich, I used to go, I learned that as a young age. I used to go Marisco Cardiore in the Bronx. I used to see guys that looked like they put the ashtray out on their face,
Starting point is 00:44:54 holes, hate, holds it. And with the most beautiful Dominican girl the bottle of them away. I learned real quick. When I was young, I said, oh, we need money. If we want dumb girls, we got to get the bag because they're stuck in the face.
Starting point is 00:45:10 He was premeditated stuck in the face. 88. He was an 88 stuck in the face. 88 stuck in the face is crazy. This is before Wi-Fi. He was stuck in it. I noticed I didn't say ACE's sprayed. He had the Mo-8.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Not that white. star he had that shit up in there and the girl and I was just looking at me like why these guys always got the hottest chicks and I started doing the math and I was like yo these guys got that paper and they knew
Starting point is 00:45:44 you sit there like stuck in the face man stuck in the face man I'm telling you this shit crazy right now crazy hey it's us the Jonas brothers and guess what we have some big news what's the news huge news we created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:46:09 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to a... We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember.
Starting point is 00:46:24 I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys. remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
Starting point is 00:46:42 people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.

Starting point is 00:48:31 So when a swaggering Armenian businessman, catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world. He doesn't look back. Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey. I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across.
Starting point is 00:48:50 When Jacob met Levant, this went to a billion-dollar fraud. But with two kings from entirely different worlds, just how long can their empire survive? The largest tax investigation in American history. You need to tell me what you know. Is somebody coming after me? Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my life. Starting point is 00:49:25 You know who don't get credit? I thought about it the other day. Long Island, we never realized, well, I don't know about you. I never realized. Public enemy. E. PMD. Bismarck Rakim
Starting point is 00:49:41 De La De La Sol K Solo Like I don't think we really EPMD I said it It's biscuit As big as the biggest
Starting point is 00:49:54 jogger y'all His biscuit Hey You see that suit he had on He couldn't Yo that's crazy The other day I went to TSA
Starting point is 00:50:01 In the airport The dude had All the diamonds Studs on I was like yo I felt like It's Biscuit Yo, let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Long Island has played such an incredible part of hip-hop culture in the Golden Age. And I just thought about it the other day. I said, you know what? We do the show. We got to big up Long Island. Big up the Long Island, man. The guard rock, Kim. Huh?
Starting point is 00:50:28 Jersey don't get a lot. Yeah, he got another time. Yeah, right now that's about Long Island. Make it out of it, Jay. Yo, Jay, we try to big up Long Island. Guy with a tomato. Yeah, dog. It's about one-I-Ly.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Jimmy John's-Gas. You give it a Long Island, they fly as you come over here. We do that part of the world another time. Let me tell you something. Shout out the Jersey's been my home for over 20-something years.
Starting point is 00:50:51 I love New Jersey, but today's New Jersey. Today's Long Island. Today's Long Island, though. I get a phone call today, right? I get a phone call from my homie. Freezy. Freezy, uh, managed flow rider
Starting point is 00:51:05 and this, this and that. And the man wakes me up. And I'm getting in the car coming down here. He says, yo, Joe, man. He said, your Joe, what's up with Tupac? Right? So I say, yo, I'm trying to figure out where he's going with this. Your Mike, you never thought about this like this, right?
Starting point is 00:51:25 I said, what you mean? He said, well, I see the top 10 of all time greatest of New York. Tupac ain't never on that list. By the way, Tupac was born in the Bronx. Let's get that clear. Hold on. I'm about to get up and walk out of it. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Could you Google where Tupac Shakor was born? He was born and raised in the process. Okay. Okay, I always served. It don't care. It's York. Right? And because of the East Coast, West Coast beef, New York don't claim up like that,
Starting point is 00:51:59 which is really weird. He don't claim over it. It's cool, but when you look at juice, when you look at everything, Tupac is from New York. Technically, he's born in New York City, raised in the Bronx, right? Now, now, raise the truth. Yo, born and, man.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Yo, come on, but, come on, dog. What you're trying to say, DuPont ain't raised in the Bronx? Google that. It don't even got to Google that. It ain't nothing like the old school. What are you talking about? He wasn't raised in the Bronx.
Starting point is 00:52:31 He's sure. Tell him that it don't say that, James. Let him argue. They don't say it there, James? Baltimore, man. Baltimore after the Bronx. It's cool. Whatever y'all want to say.
Starting point is 00:52:43 He put his own shit. Who care? Who cares? Listen to what I'm saying. Who gives a fuck what they say? Listen to what I'm saying. The man, the man, Freezy,
Starting point is 00:52:56 brings up a good point. He says New York never mentioned them. In the top 10, he said, LA won't mention Tupac. They're not saying he and their top 10, they'll say empty quick, Cube, this and that.
Starting point is 00:53:10 They're not claiming them. L.A., yeah, he's. The East Coast, West Coast, yeah, he wrote out for Defro, he's this and that, but when you say about the pure L.A. rappers, they don't really say them. This is what my man Frize is telling me, right?
Starting point is 00:53:26 He said, we in the South. You know, he lived in Atlanta, Matt. He said, we'll take him. That's a legitimate, right? Who won't take it? You think hip hop, I don't give a fuck of you, the whitest guy in the world, Filipino, deaf, dumb, and blind.
Starting point is 00:53:43 The main two red and name is Goose, Tupac and Biggie. If you listen to country music, you never heard hip-hop in your life, you know about Tupac and Biggie Smalls the notorious B.I.G. Why is such a guy like that that's like the Batman emblem that we ain't claiming from New York? He's born in New York. You want to give him to the South, Jada? Giving them right where he belonged in Oakland and in LA. That's it.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Not New York where he was born. No. I take two problems. The least time here. I claim if they want to give, if he ain't got nowhere else to go, I take a contract. He's up for grad. He's up for grad.
Starting point is 00:54:30 What the fuck make you think pocket's up for grad? He's born in New York. Who they're barely sitting there and say this shit? That shit, they're going to kill LA, no smoke, brothers. No smoke. But he brought up some, he brought up some, yeah, L.A., definitely no smoke, my brothers.
Starting point is 00:54:47 Yeah. Peace, beloved. Peace beloved. L.A., peace beloved. Peace, beloved. Of all beloved, grand rising, we don't want the, we don't want to smoke. Grand Risen, Jones.
Starting point is 00:54:59 We don't want smoke. Peace beloved, grand rising. Peace beloved, grand risers. You know what I'm saying? You got it. You got it. You got it. You got it.
Starting point is 00:55:11 You know what they want, man. These are loving Grand Risen. Nephew, the last shit they should have did was give us a mind. Stuck in the face and peace and Pete's beloved Grand Risen. Yo. We need merch immediate. No, no. Stuck in the face.
Starting point is 00:55:27 You know stuck in the face a real thing. You know, it's a real thing. Stuck in the face. I, you know, stuck in the face is a real fucking thing. fucking dang. Anybody is stuck in their own face. Some guys got that smudge. You ever seen the guys
Starting point is 00:55:43 that look like they hit them with a pie when they was born and they shit looked like, no way you do for you. Can't give you a good outfit. Can't give you nothing. You know what I'm saying? Stuck in their face. You're stuck in the face,
Starting point is 00:55:59 God. Tyler the creator. You saw that video where he did a rendition, he did the LL Koojay. I'm bad he threw the red outfit on. That was, that was crazy. And Tyler, he spit crazy on the clips album. Yeah, he had a nice, yeah, nice one.
Starting point is 00:56:22 He did end me last week to come to a show. He had three shows up in, but I was... He could have popped out. One of them houses and some shit, you know, and be on stage with the air moving with the disc. He put his money in it's for, I heard the Kendra-Lamar show and Cizzer. I heard his, like, our sister went there, Mary Jay.
Starting point is 00:56:44 She had a show the day before in Paris, and she went to their concert, and she was like, yo, they spent millions on their set on their production. I don't get them kind of budgets to spend millions on my production. I just need the sound right. Let me get the lights and the sound right. The shit, right?
Starting point is 00:57:04 Yeah, I don't need to fly across it. Don't need none here. We need the hubb of crap. Like Chris Brown be flying in it. He tried to kill himself. We're going to get Chris Brown on here. Right? And I'm going to ask him,
Starting point is 00:57:14 did you really trying to, like, kill yourself flying in the air like that? Because it's people flown in the air. People don't try to, like, like, he'd be going 100 miles for hours flipping in the air. Like, that's pretty crazy to me. Yo, Jada, man, let me tell you something, man. You know, Jay.
Starting point is 00:57:33 It's crazy. Y'all, let me tell you, so I was thinking about it the other day so my pops, because that was an ill episode. By the way, I really loved the 85 South episode. She almost came to tears talking about my mother and my father. And then I get to thinking about my father.
Starting point is 00:57:53 And I say, you know, my father had Alzheimer's. So, you know, that's when you start forgetting shit, right? But I laugh about my father because they, telling me, yo, he's getting bad. He's getting, he's this. Don't remember shit. This, when I go there, he sit down and be like,
Starting point is 00:58:12 yo, you ain't shit. I mean, like, your pops, what you're talking about. Remember you and your man's over here, this, I mean, like, your pops. They're telling me you can't remember nothing. He hit me. Why you only remember the bad shit? Like, to his dying day,
Starting point is 00:58:29 he only remember stories that he should not remember. I was like, your dad, Why do you remember that? And the man was like, nah, remember you, tone, this, that. He'd be telling me this story. He also gave me some money one time. Nice amount of money.
Starting point is 00:58:46 My father wasn't rich. He had no money like that. But one time he gave me some money to put away. Until he died, he remembered every single dollar he gave me. He'd be like, yo, some with the money. I'm like, your pops, you know, I bring you the money. Like, I got it. It's such a such amount.
Starting point is 00:59:05 I'm like your pop, that he knew it down to the numbers. Like with Alzheimer's, he knew. So I guess with Alzheimer's at certain points, they remember certain things. But shout out to everybody. You got your mom's impossible. We don't want to keep doubling down on bad luck,
Starting point is 00:59:25 but just keep spending time with your family. That's the most important time. You'll never spend. That's a fact. You know? No, that's crazy. The NFL's on his way back. I can't wait to get my bet on.
Starting point is 00:59:40 NFL's coming back. NBA, what are we doing? Mike Brown had hired staff yet, and he fired some of the old coaches. That's a man, coach, man. I have not met one person to say, whoopty-doo. we got rid of Tibbs and we got Mike Brown.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I have not. And they, and they was Tibbs haters. The barbershops, everybody, ah, the coach, you don't play the bench, you don't this,
Starting point is 01:00:11 but I haven't heard one person. Have you heard one person to be like, yo, wow, we got Mike Brown. No, you're right. I haven't been. It's light.
Starting point is 01:00:22 You're an egg shell. No, no, no, it's light. You're an egg shells. Yo, it's light out there. And I know he was coached at a year two times.
Starting point is 01:00:31 He was this. this and this and that. This fucking light. I have not met one person yet. From the smartest person to the dumbest who was like, yo, we got Mike Brown. Like, wow. Like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:00:47 I love our bench. I love what we did with Clarkson. And we did with the big fellow who was playing in Philly from out of France, Africa, Gershaw. Yo, he's the truth. Remember I told you, You ain't pay attention to him. I learned about him in the Olympics.
Starting point is 01:01:04 I learned about him in the Olympics, too. Oh, so you cool about it? You're not thinking he's, he's, he got to see. He was on film last year. Oh, no. Oh, no. Remember, I told you. This guy, this guy ain't fake tough.
Starting point is 01:01:18 This guy is tough, tough. Like, he's going to come in that game and you're going to be like, he's going in there. He's going to put him work. That guy dead nice and then clocks could drop 20 off the bench. I don't even know if he's off the bench. Do you take out McHale or heart? Clarkson is coming off the bench, man. Huh?
Starting point is 01:01:37 Clarkson's off the bench. Off the bench? Yes, he's off the bench. Sixth man? Yeah. Six. Seven, no. No.
Starting point is 01:01:47 McBride is not better than Clarkson, bro. It's not about being better. It's about fitting, man. I'm about the matchup. Coming off the bench. Remember, I told you. six man of the year. He's coming off the bench.
Starting point is 01:02:03 He's going to light him up. McBride ain't got no... And I'm not like McBride, but McBride ain't Clarkson. You know, there's certain... He's not... He's not Clarkson. Yeah, but this pure score is like Jamal...
Starting point is 01:02:15 Remember when Jamal Crawford was taking... It was a guarantee. He's six man of the year. And who was it? Lou Williams. Yeah, Lou... They put Clarkson and carrying teams. Rip Hamilton.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Lou Williams. Williams. Who you said before that? Jamal Croft. Jamal Crawford, the jet, Jason Terry, and I was on Dallas. What do you think Clarkson's going to do off the bench? He's been starting this whole career.
Starting point is 01:02:42 Now you put him in there, and I would think they're not caring about him picking or defense. They just want him to light it up. Guess what? He lights him up. I like him. You see.
Starting point is 01:02:56 So you're easy on Knicks this year. Like, you're looking like. Not easy. we still discombobobulated. Football, you know, it's my nephew Abdul Carter that just went to the Giants.
Starting point is 01:03:07 If the other two teams they need the quarterback out of Philly, he would have went first. He and the Giants, I'm watching footage. The shit he's doing that line out there
Starting point is 01:03:20 and the giant, he's, he swear. We know him since he's a little kid. Shout out of E. Philly. He's about to go crazy? Oh, no, nuts. And the way he talked is really nuts.
Starting point is 01:03:35 He's like, yo, your aunt, I'm about to restore the feeling. I'm about to just watch what he's going to do. He's a bet on the Giants. They're calling them the new L.T. But that ain't the quarterback. You got to score. Because last year or the years before that, I used to look at Sequin Barclay because he's from the Bronx.
Starting point is 01:03:57 Shout out to his uncle, I ran Barclay from the Bronx. Guy Fisher, they all from Patterson Projects. I have to Joe Biden. He's from the Bronx. You know, Guy Fisher, Guy Fisher, who used to own the Apollo, came out of jail, Harlem immediately. Like, I had to,
Starting point is 01:04:15 well, had my whistle. I had to, like, stop their parade right quick, because he's the last of the Moheekers. Guy Fischer ain't tell. He owned the Apollo. He's not the one of the Wolf. He'd from the Bronx. I'm not saying that.
Starting point is 01:04:27 What Regis Philbin was. Let me tell you. Let me tell you something. The man come out of jail, Harlem trying to, yo, Harlem's own guys said, yo, this was one I had to come out, the barricades. I popped up on their Instagram
Starting point is 01:04:41 so fast, it was like, no, no, no, no. Patterson projects, guys. Calm it down, the Bronx. Cut it out because the Harlem, Jimmy Vito did, they immediately was Harlem. I was like, whoa, guys. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:04:57 Not him. Right. So Sequin Barkley, I watched him be extremely talented and Giants didn't want them. I don't think they didn't want them. I mean, they only had him.
Starting point is 01:05:09 They didn't want them. So there's nobody else to be a threat for throwing two. There's this, this. When you got one guy, he could be neutralized. If you only got one threat, he went to Philly
Starting point is 01:05:20 where they had more players that could play with him and tore them up. Who's your favorite football team? I don't bet on teams. I don't bet. I can ask who you better on. I ask who's your favorite.
Starting point is 01:05:33 I'm a better, son. I don't go off. So you're better. You just go off. Who are you think is going to win? Yeah, I don't get my heart involved. Yeah. I'm a band.
Starting point is 01:05:44 It's the one sport. I'm a bandwagon fan. I've been a Kansas City Chiefs. Fan. You've been saying you performed out there. Yeah, but I'm a fan. You know what I'm saying? I'm rolling with them.
Starting point is 01:05:55 You know what I'm saying? Travis Kelsey, you're on the box. We're one of saying. I got a support. I got to support the team. Go watch that show Tyson Beckford on. He on that Rewind the 10. You know what I'm saying?

Starting point is 01:06:23 Jada. And this is the Joe and Jada show. Don't get it fucked up. I talked enough shit today, right? Peace, y'all. It's good. Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers.
Starting point is 01:06:45 I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. Nice. We invented a podcast?
