The volume.
All right, welcome into another episode of sports gambling with Moneyline, Monaco, Alex
Monaco, chilling with you.
We have college football.
We have fall energy in the air.
It really doesn't get much better than this.
This is the time.
I'll say it.
I'll have to say it again.
Make your Mario Kart lap around your obligatory things you have to do in your life so that
NFL Red Zone Sunday is free.
Ideally Saturday, too.
But if you have to pick one for me, I'm an NFL Guy Day.
NFL guy all day.
Get them in.
Take your grandparent out.
Take your significant other route.
Not saying go Michelin three star.
Shout out the bear.
But, you know, do something grandiose so that at least once the first second week of September hits,
you got a guilt-free thing.
And I got to be honest.
I grew up and a half Jewish half Italian Catholic household with Buddhist beliefs.
Mom, I got guilt all over the place.
So I do this.
I literally do this by design.
I do my lap.
say goodbye to everybody and that includes my feelings till February. But I digress. Let's get into
today's show. It is the danger zone episode. And look, if Nathaniel Hackett's used in Austin Powers
gold member lines in the Aaron Rogers Huddle on Hard Knocks, I'm going to use in Austin
Powers dangerously, live in dangerously. That's his middle name type lingo for this episode.
We're going to break down division by division, not go too fast, not go too slow.
breaking down a one through 10 system of how dangerous or how much in danger, I should say,
each team is from either losing the division crown from last year to this year or keeping it.
One through three, limited danger.
So the Kansas City chiefs are a one and two as we'll get into it.
A fourth through six moderate danger, seven through ten, very dangerous.
And again, you have to remind yourself, there's so much parity in this league.
I mean, even look at the Jaguars, Urban Meyer, now a Netflix star.
Guy was a 3 and 14 head coach.
Dougie P comes in with championship pedigree.
They go from worst to first.
You don't want to believe it, but there is so, it's the greatest reality television on,
a show on TV, just like Colin says.
So let's get into it here.
Starting out on the AFC, have to give credence, have to kick it off with the Super Bowl champs.
And Chris Jones is not reported.
and Andy Big Red Reed said there is no dialogue.
I got to be honest, your top shelf, front nose tackle,
de-tackle, you don't have Frank Clark, you don't have Carlos Dunlap.
I don't love it.
I don't love the turnover.
But again, we've said it before, we'll say it again.
Sir Patrick Mahomes, I mean, what else does he need to prove?
The team hasn't won less than 12 games since 2017 when we're all still on Facebook.
The most points per game on offense last year in the leak.
And again, we ask ourselves in the post-hire kill era, like we did more last year than this year,
how is Patty going to settle into his new assets?
So Richie James, will he make Skymore work?
Will Justin Watson have a more significant role?
All that to be said, I put him as a two, and I only put them as a two as far as little to no danger from relinquishing the AFC West title.
because of how much this Chargers team could make an impact because Justin Herbert,
if he's not in your top five, he's absolutely in your top seven.
And this Chief's team, you know, you look at the division, you look at who they're playing,
NFC North, AFC East, not a super easy schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs again,
but remind ourselves, you know, this was a Patrick Mahomes year where it took a little bit
to get his rhythm. Once he got his rhythm, he never looked back. But this division to me is
halfway dysfunctional, halfway dysfunctional. And they won the Super Bowl for a second time,
for a second time. We have to realize that it's Patrick Mahomes and everybody else. And what his
leadership intangibles are that you learn more on quarterback on Netflix. If you haven't seen it,
have to see it. You just can't say it enough.
I go on and on about it, but I just believe this team is a two.
And you look at the numbers for the AFC West to win the division.
And I still got to swallow the juice here.
I still got to take this Kansas City Chiefs team, if you've heard me talk about it.
And honestly, at the moment, minus 160, minus 165, pendant where you shop,
it's dropped a little bit since I mentioned it around minus 175-ish, minus 180.
that's expensive.
But next up is the Chargers at three to one here.
Now,
their ability to come in and swoop the division,
they're the top challenger.
They are the top challenger in the division.
Three to one as a dog is value.
You can't sit here and say it isn't.
But, you know,
I'll put them at about a four or a five
as far as a chance to take over the division.
I just don't see it.
I mean, Patrick Mahomes is,
I think he's 64 and 16.
I think I'm off book on that number.
64 and 16 as a starter,
just a team that doesn't beat themselves very often.
You look at the Chargers.
What do we know about?
High level.
They have talent all over the board.
But, you know, this has been a team.
It's almost like they're Ocean's 11-esque.
They're so talented across the board.
There's stars on this team on both sides of the football.
You have the quarterback.
I don't love.
I don't love, I just don't think he's a leader of men like Herbert needs.
Herbert has had Anthony Lynn and then Brand, you know,
Staley in a league with Belichick and Shanahan and Reed.
It's frustrating as a charter fan.
I grew up in San Diego, so I love this team.
But I think they're not going to, they're not going to leapfrog on the checkers board,
this chief's team.
But I do think they are the top challenger.
And again, I'm doing a puzzle piece.
I got them winning 10 games, but there's going to be two or three excellent teams in the
AFC that go home.
I put them at a four, though, just because God forbid something happens and something
happens every week in the NFL, you could watch this Chargers team steal the division
at three to one and quickly wrapping through the last two.
I got not much of a Costanza conceivable reason for getting up in the morning about
the Denver Broncos or this Raiders team.
Now, A, I love Aidan O'Connell's potential ceiling.
Love the Farva and Farv's shirt he wore with the mustache.
I saw trending on social.
But start now with the Raiders here real quick.
You know, this Raiders team is in a turnover year, new quarterback.
Again, you got a single dude who could be on the strip or he could be watching film.
Does Jimmy Garoppolo, he's a likable guy, but in a dysfunctional franchise for the first time in his career,
Are we going to really sit here and feel like he's someone you want to bet on?
Not out the gate.
I think O'Connell's interesting.
I do think there's a reason why they're sitting at their over, under at a six and a half,
seven and a half win total.
You end the season last year on three game losing streak.
They lost three games in a row three times last year.
There's 17 games on the schedule, 23 points, 4, 24 points against.
I just, Jimmy G's 40 and 17 is a.
a starter. It's going to go closer to 500, potentially by the end of the year. I could be wrong.
They do have a couple of certified Pro Bowl studs. Crosby stud. Devante. Josh Jacobs reporting
the camp is huge. I just, I got to put these dudes in, in an, at eight or nine range. Again,
Jimmy G does have rings on his finger. So I'll give them that. That's why I'm not giving them a 10.
And this Broncos team over under eight and a half wins, I think it's a certified hustle.
Again, you've heard on the herd before calling.
I forget the guess that was saying.
I think it was Mark Sanchez.
Someone talking about a former athlete, the fact that they're rolling out Russ preseason
week one is troubling.
It's problematic.
And again, this team was 16.9 points per game last year with 211 bass yards a game.
Russell Wilson, sack 55.
times the most in the league with Justin Fields. I mean, this dude is not a spring chicken. He's in his 30s. I got to
stress 45 minutes before golf. This dude's getting hit by 300 pound lineman. It was his worst season.
It was the lowest touchdown year of his career. I mean, we go on and on. I think the defense is there,
but I also don't love what they've done personnel. I didn't agree with the Bradley Chubb trade.
You know, Certain's going to be a top five corner this year.
But outside of that, I got to put the Broncos as a seven as far as just no opportunity at all to win this division.
I really don't think a coach can leapfrog everyone.
All right.
Took a little long winded on now.
We'll get a little faster going on the next one.
Let's talk out the AFC East.
The AFC East is far and away the most riveting division.
It just is.
And we start out with the bills, 13 and 3 last year.
One game short, as we know.
Seven and one at home.
Four and two in the division.
They had the best point differential on the AFC.
They outscored opponents by 169 points to what they gave up.
Second best in the NFL behind the Niners,
allowed the fewest points in the AFC.
But, but did you stump the Schwab?
No.
That Josh Allen led the league in turnovers last year?
I mean, let's talk that out, Bill's Mafia.
This is a safe space.
I mean, this is not Dak Prescott.
This is a Josh Tim the toolman, Alan, who had 19 turnovers last year.
So are they in danger of not winning the division again?
They absolutely are.
They're not a one or a two.
You have two and an unbelievable top four high octane offense
with really a sneaky, incredible star-studded defense in Miami.
If Ramsey can get healthy by December.
And you have speed like we've never seen.
seen at the wide receiver position.
But I just think Tua, you know, everything happened with my guy, R.C.
R.C. took the high road.
Of course, he's all class.
You know, they're adding, adding a little bit down there in Ace Ventura land to get them
going with a little.
Don't give anybody in the NFL more motivation.
But I look at this, this Bill's team.
And I do remind myself, Micah Hyde, Von Miller, a couple of huge injuries last year.
This team is going to come back stronger.
They may end up with a Jonathan Taylor.
I don't think they will.
I think their run game is mediocre at best.
They did add Damien Harris.
Diggs will see that could be channeled for motivation.
I put them at a three.
I do think they could get sauced on the AFC East board.
I think it's an interesting number right now.
If you look pending Fandual Draftings where you shop,
the bills are plus 120.
Jets up next at plus 250 here.
But I look at this bills team.
And I say to myself,
it is a top five quarterback.
It is a top five defense by statistic numbers.
And they are prime to make a run.
I just sit here and I say to myself,
this Bill's team has to be,
has to be a little susceptible to getting leapfrogged,
not just because of the dolphins.
You also have the Jets.
I'll put them at a three.
I think I still like them to win the division.
I really do.
but this Jets team at plus 250 here,
I put them as a top challenger.
I put them next to the dolphins as a top challenger.
I think this is the only division I'll give
where there's two top challengers.
I look at this New York Jets team,
and I put them at a certified three.
I want to lean four.
I'll put them in the three spot here
as the ability to potentially swoop the division.
I mean, this team,
and again,
And you can't go too much back to last year because it's a completely different quarterback,
completely different sit.
Aaron Rogers comes in.
Again, I've said this.
Sound like a broken record.
But it's the best version of Aaron Rogers I've seen in years, watching hard knocks,
seeing how he's being a leader.
I saw the Randall Cobb clip the other day of him talking about building trust with 12.
He meant it.
He was so, he was so used to saying 12.
He's like, I mean eight because Aaron Rogers number eight now.
He has to build trust with these guys.
He builds trust with these guys.
have to trust the defense.
It's fourth in opponents points per game, 18.6 per.
This was an unbelievable team.
And they were 29th in the offensive category with 17.4 per,
and they had three quarterbacks last year.
Zach Wilson with Stifler's mom, White Lotus, and literally Joe Flacco, who's at
Cisler at 4 o'clock.
How old is Joe Flacco right now?
I do think, though, this team, with the offensive defensive defensive
a rookie of the year coming back with Wilson and Sauce. They have playmakers. They have stars and they have
one of the best morale right now. I put the Jets in that three, four spot. They're over under is a game
less than the bills. Rightfully so. They have a very difficult schedule out the gate. I don't think
they win the division. I do think they get in the playoffs. I do think they hit over nine a half.
I'll still put them at three. This fins up team though, just mention them, you know, gave them a little
extra motivational, let those pathos. They were minus two in the point differential department. They were
one and three without two a last year.
They are, they are needing a couple of elements to be able to have to work this year.
They need their quarterback.
I mean, Mike White's down there now, but I still think they need their quarterback.
I like the pieces they had.
Unfortunately, Jalen Ramsey got hurt, but David Long's a great linebacker.
They have so much firepower on the defensive side.
If you don't know the Miami defense, get to know them.
They're going to be better.
They're going, they went from Flores to McDaniel, defense,
the offense, there's always a little bit of a shift as far as the focus.
The offense got significantly better.
The defense did take a little bit of a step back.
But they went out and they got Chubb.
They went out and they got Ramsey.
I mean, Wilkins, Zavian Howard, they got dudes.
I trust them.
I don't think they win the division.
I think they can get in the playoffs.
I do.
But at the moment, I'm going to put them third fiddle, but still a second top challenger.
I'll put them at a four because I do think they have all the intangibles.
But you go in a quarterback.
League, Tua is the third best quarterback in that division.
And the Patriots, hate to do it to my guy, Sean.
Seven and ten club, you know, welcome to Zeke 2.0.
Zeke looks like Hardin's Instagram story right now.
I'm sorry to take a shot.
I don't understand not getting DeAndre Hopkins.
I don't understand not opting into 2023 style of football.
I mean, again, the thought of any other head coach having a defensive coordinator on the
offensive side of football.
I mean, he's, he's literally walking around and he's untouchable, Bill Belichick.
And I've heard Colin talk about it.
Bill Belichick, the coach, Bill Belichick, the GM is a Madden 99 to a Madden 85.
It's a serious drop off.
On some sick level, though, they still had a plus point differential last year.
This is arguably a top three defense because Bill is a mastermind on that side of football.
Not going to sit here and say the Patriots aren't going to be in most games.
competitive and show up. It is their culture. It is their way. They are going to be in games.
As far as stealing the division on this topic, I got to give them an eight. There's no chance.
They have the ability to leapfrog these three teams as we work our way in to the next division.
And this AFC North Division might be the most difficult division to sit here and really pinpoint
what's going to happen?
Because this division is so incredibly competitive.
And I don't think you can sit here and say that there's one team that can't win it.
Deshaar Watson could get back to his top 10 quarterback form.
The Browns, who have the best offensive line in the division, can come out of nowhere
and steal it.
And again, the Browns are unglomerous.
The Browns are dysfunctional.
The Browns are gross.
they still have a lot of solid pieces that are conducive to winning football.
It's just the Browns.
And so you almost have the men in black it and forget that it's ever happened the past,
especially with the Mansell doc coming up,
doesn't help the current mindset of what the Browns are.
But let's start out with the Bengals,
the 12 and 4 club that won the division.
The team that was 6 and 1 at home,
6 and 3 on the road,
started out 4 and 4 with the Gallifidakis hangover
and finished on an 8-game winning streak.
Joe Burrow might be the greatest against the spread quarterback in my millennial life.
The dude just covers spreads.
I didn't love how they ended, obviously, a chance to win the game,
lost on a game winning drive, another dumb penalty on a laid hit.
I mean, these kinds of things, you can't do that to yourself and beat yourself
when you're going against the top of the world in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs.
but they lost Bates, they lost Vaughn's gone, Hayden Hurst is gone.
But, you know, they bring back everyone.
It is an interesting year.
Joey Burr was at the Cincinnati and Inter-M Miami game.
Showing love, like to see that in the building to see the goat, messy, love it.
But I put this team, I'm going to put them at a three for the ability to potentially get swooped.
This team has a first place schedule.
everybody in this division, by the way, went three and three against each other.
It is the number one.
I jokingly say that the AFC North beats up on each other like the Grankowski brothers
fight for food at the table growing up.
I mean, everybody slugs on everybody.
And I look at this Bengals team and I got to be honest.
It is a Super Bowl or bust year.
Not really everyone is.
I'm not seeing a ton of Bengals team.
I did see Chris Collinsworth on the DP show say for first time ever he's taking him to win it.
But I put him at a three out of respect for what they've been the last couple of years.
Joe Burroughs arguably the second best quarterback in the league.
They do have a top 10 in points against defense coming back.
But again, you know, we forget about the offensive line that was in movement from the last two years.
We forget that this team, you know, has a banged up quarterback.
No one, you know, Joe Burroughs a little bit of a golden child.
the dude has had like a 33-year-old as far as a Rolidax of injuries.
And he's rolling out non-contact and he's fine.
But either way, Costco sample of, oh, my gosh, Joe Burrow goes down.
This team's back to the bad news bangles.
I'll put them out of three.
I don't think they win the division again because I do believe in this Baltimore
Ravens team to take it at plus 210.
And by the way, just talking out the number for the Cincinnati Bengals and went out
division or plus 150, which is incredible if you believe in this team to do what they did
last year. I mean, eight game winning streak, don't fault you. I just, the NFL is so year to year,
you have to open your mind up to new possibilities. And I look at this Ravens team,
at plus 210, depending on where you shop, to win the division. And, you know, I've said it before on
my AFC North Pod. You look at the first eight weeks of the season. I mean, the texts, the Colts,
the Titans, the Cardinals, the Lions. I mean, I honestly think that this,
team. And again, there's something to be said about locking in your future. This has been a DAC
situation. And it is an excellent example to look at what the Cowboys did, what the morale was when
they finally got it right. They didn't want to pay Lamar. This is not a team that likes to really
wrap their arms around skill position guys on the offensive side. Back and forth, back and forth.
He does. He does. He gets the contract representing himself. He wins. And now he's locked in. And what did
they do. They got Odell great peace. They God say flowers looks like he is so shifty off the jump,
sauce in the commanders who, by the way, beat him in a joint practice. This team, though,
you know, everything that they weren't last year, morale-wise, they are this year. Even looking
at who they're now offensive coordinator is. And Todd Monkin, who's a young dude out of Georgia,
who just won two natties in a row under Kirby down in the SEC
is apparently building a phenomenal rapport with Lamar.
He's open to suggestions.
He's open new ideas.
He's open to creativity.
And Greg Roman,
the previous offensive coordinator,
it was his style or bust.
Now,
you have a young,
humble wanting to prove himself OC
and you look at really the style.
It's a copycat league in a lot of ways
of where the innovative offenses are going.
They're going younger with coaches.
They're going head coaches, younger with offensive coordinators.
All that to me, for a team that already had a top 5D,
that had a top three running game last year and dealt with a plethora of injuries,
you don't say this ever, but they're secondary with Marlon Humphrey
is one of the biggest causes of concern on this entire team.
I love the value.
I got to put them at a three.
They're in a good spot as far as danger to swoop the division.
But again, this is a division that just crushes each other.
As we talk out the third value play on this board of the AFC North, where do I have them?
The Cleveland Browns are an interesting club here coming into the year.
And again, you have to throw out last year on an 11 game suspension for your quarterback.
They still won seven games with Jacoby Brissette.
But, you know, all of these unglamorous things in the world of betting and fantasy that no one wants to talk about,
this offensive line is disgustingly.
stack. Disgustingly stacked. And last year, I saw some things that I liked with this
rounds team. Believe it or not, a top passing defense in this league. They got a lot to do
on the run defensive side of things. But you know, the six games that Deshaun started, they were
three and three. They're over under's nine and a half. They're four to one to win the division.
I don't sit here and say that that's not value. The problem is and lies on the defensive side.
Yes, a great pass D.
Statistically, they're in middle of the pack as far as,
and on the outside, look it in, in the division as far as defensive status.
They're the worst defense in the league statistically, or in the division, rather,
coming into this year.
And so I think that this Browns team is sick value, but as far as at 4 to 1,
but as far as actually going in and swooping the division,
I mean, I got to put them around probably a 6, a 6.
a six. And that's not being disrespectful to this team.
I put them in the moderate range.
I don't think they're not capable and have no chance like the Raiders or Broncos.
I don't think that though they're in this, as we did the tiers, they're in that tier two range.
Now, I may be sorely wrong on this Pittsburgh Steeler team as we round out the AFC North.
I may be sorely wrong.
Am I guy Paul, who by the way, and I forgot if I mentioned this out the top, we're going to have a producer
Challenge flag coming in where he's going to be able to throw in and stop my rants for better
or for worse, add value or tell me where I'm wrong.
It's a producer challenge flag might come today, might come soon.
But I look at the Steelers team and my guy Paul shouted it out of what they are with T.J.
Watt and what they are without T.J. Watt, he's probably the most valuable player on a defense
going into this season of any team, any player, any impact on a non-quarterback defense aside
the Pittsburgh Steelers at T.J. Watt are that. Now, we know about the Tomlin streak, 16 seasons and
never having under 500 record, finished on a nice winning streak, missed a playoffs by a game,
but my goodness, what do we know about the Steelers? We know that they have excellent defense
year after year. Love that they locked in the future with Joey Porter Jr., baby. Joey
Porter decorated number 55 linebacker for them back in the day. Now they got his son. They
got studs on the defensive side.
I like the Patrick Peterson pickup.
I like that they still have Minka, T.J. Hayward.
They have leadership on the defensive side of top three, top five type in the entire NFL.
But you have a second year quarterback.
You don't have a great offensive line.
Najee Harris was two kinds of running backs with the steel on his foot and without.
I have some questions.
But what we are hearing, we know that the Pittsburgh Steelers get covered
well in the media. We are hearing that Pickett's had an incredible camp. Now,
Pickett's has been stepping up. We know that they draft receivers incredibly well.
They were willing to part with Claypool last year. They believe in this pickings, dude.
You saw what RC said about him in lieu of the Justin Jefferson thing. All that to be said,
they're not winning the division, but they could make the playoffs. They're plus 130 to make the
playoffs pending where you shop for good reason. And they're over under's eight and a half. And you
sit here and you look at them to win the division at plus 470 and that is crazy value too.
I just do not think in a quarterback league again.
You have the fourth best quarterback in the division.
You got two MVP candidates in the division.
You got to just be somewhat realistic.
You got to put them at a seven or an eight, but that's off of what they've done in the past.
Now, they, again, they could shock the world.
They could go 10 and 7, 11, and 6.
I do think that a 10 win or 11 win number gets a first place spot in this division.
If somebody goes four and two, unlike last year in the division, that could be the kicker.
But again, I still think my value, my money's going to the Ravens.
I got a weird feeling that the Bengals aren't doing it this year.
But the Browns and the Steelers are interesting cases as we wrap up the least interesting division in football, far in a way.
I don't mean that disrespectfully.
There's some great storylines.
We got new quarterbacks in the division as far as competitiveness.
Unless Anthony Richardson comes out,
Anthony Richardson comes out the gate firing.
No chance.
Anybody debunks the Jacksonville Jaguars coming off a 9 and 8 year.
And an unbelievable five-game win streak to wrap it up.
They sit at about minus 155,
depending where you're firing your bets.
I got to put them out of two.
They are not in much danger this year to lose this division.
I just think that this Titans team is going to take a step back before they take a step forward.
To go quarterback last year, Malik Willis, go quarterback again this year, Will Levis.
They finally got rid of the GM.
Frable's a defensive guy.
And he's in a sort of similar tennis New England Patriot 2.0 situation over there,
where again, you're so sound on one side of the football.
And again, the Titans did take a step back defensively under the Vrable era last year compared to other years.
But there's still a coached up club.
They have an excellent leader of men at head coach.
But I don't think that the Jags who just caught a sick amount of momentum are susceptible to losing this division.
I got to put the Jags at a two and look at this Jags team as clearly the team to beat.
I think they're a 10-win team this year.
they are juiced on the over of nine and a half,
but they did play in division very well at four and two.
They were above 500 at home.
They were plus 54, by the way,
in the point differential department,
points four points against.
Only team in the division that was above that.
And we know that they are never out of the game.
That Costco sample of being down 27-7 and half to my former San Diego chargers
and winning that game was the third largest comeback in NFL postseason.
in history. So not only do you have a team that's turning it around, you have someone special
at a quarterback, absolutely special. Now, they didn't have the cap space to make an impact like they
did the year prior. You saw what they did, bringing in all at once. Kirk, Ingram, Zay Jones. Now they
have Calvin Ridley. He's going to be a stud in this offensive system. I just, I look at this club,
and I look at this division
and I got to put the Jags at a two.
I put the Titans though
second as far as
could they steal the division?
Sure, will they?
I don't think they will.
I'm going to put them at a five.
It's out of respect more for one of the greatest
running backs we've seen in the last 10 years
might be the best running back
in the last 10 years when it's all said
and done at just running the football.
Guy gets stronger.
King Henry as the game goes on.
The new GM,
he was tasked with renewing a franchise.
Kind of spoke on him already.
I think this team has a hunt to basically uphill battle with minus 61 points,
four points against 29th ranked passing attempts in offense.
Again, they're living in the 2004.
I formed Madden formation era.
They've got to get with the program.
I'm not high on the Titans at all.
They're sitting at seven and a half wins, by the way.
I do think there's value on the.
over there, but at plus 310, I put them right there in the middle of the pack and rounding out
these two. I do believe in this Anthony Richardson young lad. I think his leadership abilities
are, do not sleep on him. The talent level is A1. He is to me a guy that could come in and
completely change the company culture. The problem is there's a lot of dysfunction going on right now.
I heard Colin talk about her say, you know, this is a dude who again is sitting there to
quote Dr. Evil with the red buttons, feeling like he's just, you know, so wealthy and so
in control of everything in his life, he could just say whatever he wants about the team.
The dude has no reading of the room and it does have a trickle down effect.
And Frank Reich is gone and they got a lot to deal with.
I mean, this team won four games last year.
One in four and one in the division, they were the worst in the NFL on the point differential
apartment. They allowed 427 points. They do have a good offensive line. Sixth ranked last year,
and they do have a top five running back if Jonathan Taylor is able to get it right with them.
All that to be said, they're not winning the division, but they could shock the world because
it's a quarterback league and they may have special at quarterback as well. And we do have to remind
ourselves, when is the last time at the Indianapolis Colts for a franchise quarterback have swung and
missed? You got to sit there and really think about it. I'll put them.
At a six, I still think they're right there.
I think they could end up finishing second in the division, though.
Believe it or not.
And last but not least,
I do have a little cause for concern here that we have not seen Demico Ryan's name
C.J. Stroud the starter in Houston.
Are we really going with Davis Mills?
So we watched him get picked, telegraphed it like a B minus backup point guard,
two a two a Patriot, easy pickings.
This team again has a mountain to climb.
They didn't win a gang.
home last year. They were second in the
AFC, third worst in the league, points, four points
against, only the Broncos scored
less. They bring in a defensive
mind, I do like what they did in the draft.
In fact, I love what they did in the draft, but they have
so many wrongs to write.
I think they're last this year
in the division. I think if they get seven
wins, it is an incredible
accomplishment coming off a 313-01
to one year.
I put them at an eight, maybe a nine.
They got no shot. They got no shot to win
the division.
C.J. Stroud could work.
They're going to be relying on Will the Anderson's got tickets to the game more on the
defensive side than they are going to be relying on C.J. Stroud.
I think he's more of a game manager year one, whereas Anthony Richardson could be a playmaker.
I'm off the Texans until I'm proven otherwise.
So what's going to get in the NFC?
This puppy was so long winded.
We were wrapping right now.
And the challenge flag will be debuting next step.
We'll go NFC with it.
This is the more interesting conference,
but I still believe outside of the Ravens swooping the Bengals,
the chiefs are winning their division again,
the Jags are winning their division again.
And I do still believe that the bills can win this division.
They are, though, to me, the most susceptible team outside of, of course,
the AFC North of anybody debunking anybody.
The bills have to be more careful with the football.
