I'm looking at the West, the wild, wild West. It is a riveting, riveting storyline here for me and how I'm viewing the rest of this season with a couple of teams. So I watch a ton of New York Knicks basketball. I watch a lot of Eastern Conference basketball. I'm in the East Coast time zone. Western Conference, L.A. Lakers, Southern California, where I grew up, kicks off 1030 Pacific half this season. You got to love it. I'm watching those two. I'm just saying what we've seen in the last couple weeks with the NBA shakeup with

Katie and Kyrie from a Brooklyn borough near you to the west, Dallas and Phoenix, respectively, the odds that have swung on fan to our home. book fascinating. Have to discuss this. I was staring at the maps around 12 to 1 right before Kyrie got traded.

They dropped the 550 like in an instant. In a Steph Curry flick of the wrist, they cut in half their futures. We'll talk about Dallas in a little bit. And we see

Kevin Durant. I'm in Phoenix. I'm at the volume sports party. Shout out Colin. Phenomenal spread. The cowherd cocktail was sensational. That's how cool the volume party was. You had napkins, volume, coasters, volume.

And you could order the cowherd cocktail, baby. Best network, best company in the game. I digress. I'm there. I'm talking Phoenix Suns basketball. And then I get home from the party and Kevin Durant gets traded. When we're all in Phoenix,

Phoenix talking Super Bowl, living up Chiefs Eagles. You got to love it. But the point is, now the sun's in the conversation. You're looking at futures here on Fan Duel. As much as I love Phoenix, and I see them crystal clear in the Western Conference finals, probably against the Golden State Warriors,

but at 9 to 1, let's not forget here. It's Mike Brown's Kings that are number one in offense in this year's association, and it's Steve, Cursegold and State Warriors, number two, putting up a not so humble 1-18 a game proper on the season. Now, we've seen this Warriors team all year, scoring and not playing any defense, not even close to the championship defense and the pedigree that we've seen them possess and covet in playoff runs and do it series by series.

They've been banged up. They haven't played well on the road. We haven't seen the big three. Draymond, shout out of fellow colleague, Clay and Curry a ton this year. And ironically, it's not because Clay's injured. It's not because Draymond's available, not available. It's Steph Curry in and out of the lineup,

dealing with some legament issues right now. He has no timetable post-all-Star break, but he will be back before the playoffs. Let that be now. But at 9 to 1, sitting here mid-February. We're talking about a bizarreo Jerry, if you're a Seinfeld fan episode.

We're talking about the nuggets, the Kings, the Grizzlies at the top of your Western Conference. When not for a second, are any of those teams going to come out of the West? Finally, we're seeing now a little bit of the market from a futures perspective, start to correct itself,

as I just mentioned, Sons are one. Mavs are 7 to 1 and I just mentioned Golden State. Look, as long as Golden State is making the playoffs and they're making the playoffs. They have Cupcake games.

They're next four, by the way. If you want to jump on 9 to 1 with me. Now, this Pacific division, which I'm going to get to next, is riveting. The Pacific as the Suns, the Clippers, the kings and the warriors.

The warriors are 13 to 1 in division. The Pacific is separated by four games. Four or five games is the entire Pacific division. That's how close it is between these four. You see it to win the West on the future sport. How do we not also flirt with the Warriors? at 13 to 1. Now, a lot of this is scheduling.

I've mapped it out. I've looked it up. We're looking at this Warriors team, 2929. All right. They're three and a half back of Sacramento who leads the Pacific. But the kings are dwindling.

The kings, Mike Brown, I love him. He's burning out Sabonis and Fox. These guys are going to slowly fall in order. But I'm looking at this Warriors team who has the, Lakers, the Rockets, the T-Wolves, and the Blazers in their next four, ladies and gentlemen, I know Curry's not in the lineup.

He will soon to be in the lineup. I'm not saying they're going to win the division. I'm begging you to put, if you're a small gambler, put $10 to win 90 on them to win the West. If you're a humble individual and you dance. regularly embedding $100 on the Golden State Warriors to win the West. Think about how long you could hold on

to that Willie Wonka ticket. It's February 16th. You want to talk about free AMC entertainment without having to go to the movies? Put $100 on the Golden State Wars. My colleague, Traymond Green, he's telling you on his last pod, shout out Jackson.

You still have to go through Golden State. Kevin Durant has shown you he's not a leader of men. So he's going to have to lean on Chris Paul who has yet to crack the Golden State Code either. Then you got Luca on T-shirts as Devin Booker's father

because the Mavs own the sons in the last two playoffs. So a lot of these teams cancel each other out. Now, let's get the Phoenix here. If you want to go chalk and I gave it out on Valentine's Day, I was loving futures and I was throwing out things that I liked. Golden State being one of them. Again, they will correct their defense.

Pool, Clay, pool is quietly coming into his own. This team still has Andrew Wiggins. And I'm liking a couple of the new pieces that they found a way to work into this current Golden State team. They're finally done with Wiseman, and look who they bring back, GP the 2nd. Ironically, a championship defensive piece. Defensive piece.

So I want you to take the Warriors at 9 to 1. I want you to flirt with 13.01, but staying on the Sun's team in the Pacific, you can't not understate what this offense is now. I mean, it is absolutely a force to be reckoned with. And let's bring it up. Now, this Sun's team with Aitin, with Durant, with Booker and Chris Paul, it's three all pros.

Aitin can play like an all-star. Now, I gave this out right before they were going to sauce the Kings, two and a half point line midweek, depending on when this pot's hit in your ears, It was a steal. They trounced the Kings. A double-digit victory. And more importantly,

a stat line for these three men, Booker 32, 8 and 29, 11, Christopher, don't call him Cliff, 17 and 19. Dude, that's without Duran. Book gives you 32, 8 and capable of, the 29, 11, and 19 assists. Now, again, those are stats that are inflated, all three of them. Books are 25 guy.

CPs a 10 to 12 assist guy. Aiton is a 10 to 12 board guy. But to show you that they are capable of getting their points, assists, respectively, this team already plays top five defense. Already, they give up 111 a game, top five defense. They fence off 35 from Fox, 24 from Subonis, no problem. So I gave out the Sons to win the Pacific at minus 150. Look, the Clippers have shown you their win loss, win loss inconsistencies.

They haven't been able to have any continuity with their starting five. I'm disappointed in the Clippers. They're not talking about adding Russell Westbrook. I'm looking at this Kings team. I'm going to educated guess, hypothesize in the NBA scientific lab that they're going to have regression. The team that's going to uptick is the team that just landed Kevin Durant. And so at minus 190, if you're going to go to two teams in the Pacific, complete flyer on the Warriors at 13-1, but knowing that the Sun's team should out-hustle everyone in the win-loss column,

You have to take this. Now, minus 150 is a lot better than a little bit more juice close to minus 200. You got two of the top 10 scores on this team. Book at 26, Katie at 29. Chris Paul is first in the league among active players in assists. It's the best passer of this generation with two top 10 scores in the league currently. If Aitin can engage, and I don't know where he's at chemistry-wise with his coach, Monty Williams,

this is sick with it with what we could see with Phoenix. Now, they don't have depth, but they do have Beambo, they do have Basley, they do have Damien Lee, they do have a couple of pieces, Craig. They're not unwatchable off the bench. But again, this starting five, you have to consider putting the sons into your fan duel this weekend before this, or during this All-Star break,

odds aren't going to move. Because of what they're capable of. This is not the NFL where the chemistry might work. No. Kevin Durant has shown you he can work with everybody. and Chris Paul has worked on every team. And he's elevated everybody on every team. And Devin Booker is not a selfish shooting guard.

He's a walking bucket, but he still has a high basketball IQ in my opinion. Still has room for growth. But I want you to think about that. Now let's talk about the Southwest here. I'm looking at the Mavs at plus 340. they're five and a half back to the Grizzlies, but the Grizzlies are three and seven in their last 10.

This Mavs team defensively gives up less than a bucket to this Phoenix Sun's team on the year, on the Costco sample size of a season, and they just landed Kyrie. Now, a lot of this thinking at plus 340 to win the Southwest, five and a half back is a lot of ground to gain when you're talking about a Grizzlies team that really again, excellent defensively.

Jaron Jackson may very well be the defensive player of the year. Jop plays Real D. Bain, Brooks. They play defense. Stephen Adams. This team, though, in Dallas, who again, defensively has always been there. They've actually been underperforming for a Luca offense.

So the Kyrie element now adding, look, I just talked about prolific scoring with KD and Booker. These two, Katie and, excuse me, Kyrie and Luca averaged the most between, they're in the 60s with averaging points per game between the two of them. You have to love that offensively. Christian Wood, Powell, Hardaway. They still have, I think, enough depth to make some noise this playoffs. but their next three, they play the Spurs, the Lakers, the Pacers. Next month, they have Charlotte twice.

Then they get to play Indiana, San Antonio, and the Lakers again next month, the month of March, and they have Memphis three times. So if they can go two and one against Memphis and win these types of games, meanwhile, Memphis has Philly coming up, Denver, two of their next four. They have to play the Clippers and have to play the Warriors all before they dance against the Memphis. This could be a good timing at plus 340 here in the Southwest for this team to win and make a push on this division. The Mavs have a lot to prove.

They will not be mailing in games. They will not be coasting into the playoffs. There is a serious sense of urgency with this Dallas Mavericks team. Now, betting the NBA game to game is very difficult, very difficult. For instance, this Mavs team at home against the T-Wools, they live. lose by three, but they outscore Minnesota by 15 the fourth quarter. Kyrie and Luca end up

both with over 30 points in that outing. You're saying that's a game they should have won. But they didn't get it going until the fourth. This team's going to take a little bit. Give Kyrie 10, 12, 15 games. But I think talent wise,

two walking buckets with the support of Christian Wood off the bench, with these interesting role players that I do think add a decent support system to a Kyrie and Luca style. Now, what you have to like already with the Mavs is they've already had a couple of games that have come down to the end. Luca has already spoke and Kyrie has already spoke about when and who should be taking these shots in these moments. And I talked it out already

with a couple of NBA guys I work with and just listening to their press conferences. Luke apologizing, talking about needing to read the room better. Kyrie even saying it's a basketball thing, it's a game, it's an Ebenflow thing. This is what you want to hear if you want to buy into the Dallas Mavericks. But again, play Real D. Kid will always coach you to play two ways.

Jason Kids' teams play real defense. and so if they can get the offense right, Memphis is not is not jelling the way they are used to. And I'm not particularly impressed with Memphis this year. They're not, they're playing great basketball. Don't get me wrong. They're top three in the West. I mean that more in the sense of chemistry.

You're seeing this Dylan Brooks stuff. You're seeing a little bit of internal, internal back and forth to where like this team might not be as tight as we think they might be. Because the NBA is a maturation league. You don't come out of nowhere and win the NBA finals. You go brick by brick series by series year by year. It's really always been that way. Now you land,

Dwayne Wade lands Bosch and LeBron in an offseason. That's different. But for the most part, teams like a Memphis, you want to see a little more dive. Now, before I leave, again, I host a show on the Knicks channel. This Knicks team was won five of their last six, covered five of their last six. I've spoke on this team now who without Mitchell Robinson in the interior, picking up Josh Hart, is playing the best New York Knicks basketball I've seen since I've been here over two seasons.

Since really, the team that did go 41 and 31, the team that went against the Hawks a couple of years ago, the Ice Trey Playoff Series. But this Knicks team, who just ended a three-year nine game losing streak to the Nets. I saw it in person Monday night, plays impeccable offense. Jalen Brunson is already proving

he is the biggest underpaid acquisition this off-season. He gets snubbed on the All-Stars. This is a couple weeks back. He's put up 32 a game shooting 60 from the field, 55 from 3. He's had 240 point games in the last two weeks. Josh Hart's had a three-steal game and a 4-3 game in his debut. The Villanova Bash brothers who won a championship with Jay Wright are together again. This Tommy Tibbs led team, and again, Tibbs was the brains behind Doc Rivers and

those Celtics teams. This is a well-coached Nick's team. Now, I've spoke on this for a while on my other show and on my pages. I haven't spoke on the Money Line Monaco podcast specifically, but this next team, at 43 and a half wins, you have to take the over. To make the playoffs, you have to consider it. Now, they may have a little regression, wait for the juice to go down. They were a pick-um just before this week.

win streak or excuse me this five of their last six. Now there's juice on them to make the playoffs. As we speak, they are in the playoffs. Rightfully so. Julius Randall has 1730 plus point games this season. Quentin Grimes, a Tommy Tibbs product, two-way player off the bench now, plays real defense. RJ Barrett can get it going when they need him to get it going. and with J.B. and Randall, this team can make some noise in the East. And Boston is banged up right now.

And Milwaukee is Milwaukee. But what I'm saying is after Boston and the Box, the East is wide open. And the Knicks have the second best road record, are the second best road cover in the league. They're a top 10 underdog cover. And this is a team that I feel can score with anybody in the NBA. Anybody. They can go 120, no problem any night. It's can they turn it around on defense?

But what they've done in the last several weeks specifically, fourth best in conference record, This team is winning in the East, beating quality opponents, very few bad losses in the last month of basketball. I want you to keep an eye on the New York Knicks. So I want you to nibble in conclusion on the Warriors to win the West at 9-1. I want you to think about them in the Pacific at 13-1, but punch in the Suns, because the Suns are probably going to win this division. And at 340, plus 340, the Dallas Mavericks have to be flirted with, with this Grizzlies team.

Again, 3 and 7 in their last 10 with a little bit of a difficult schedule coming up. And don't sleep on my New York Knicks. All right, let's get out of here.
