Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy.
Not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel.
Help an Acapella band with their Between Songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the ice.

Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcasts presents soccer moms.
So I'm Leanne.
Yeah.
This is my best friend, Janet.
Hey.
And we have been joined at the hips since high school.
Absolutely.
A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip.
Just a little bit bigger hips.
This is a podcast.
We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.
With all the snacks and drinks.
Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer?
Oh, they had a bogo.
Well, then you got them.
Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano.
It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season.
And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was funny.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis come in.
He's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love.
This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
basketball. So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Welcome back to the Richard Sherman podcast presented to you by our friends and partners over at Brightly.
Always keeping us right, keeping it tight, and we going to keep it light.
It was a great, I want to say great.
I don't want to say great after seeing what the San Francisco 49ers did in Greenfield.
Bay and Lambeau Field, but I did love what the Seattle Seahawks put on tape.
It was just a tough week.
I know your Honolulu Blue Detroit Lions battled it out, did their thing, Mitchell.
How are you feeling?
I'm feeling magical.
I mean, first off, Richard, live from London, I know you're on a little family vacay.
This shows for the subscribers of the Richard Sherman podcast.
Richard is currently in London.
1 a.m. right now.
That is dedication, giving you guys what you need.
after these Sunday night games, the Lions have won nine straight games or 10 and 1.
They've allowed 12 points in the last two and a half games combined.
I mean, but I was so optimistic about the San Francisco 49ers coming into this weekend.
Playing against my division foe in the Green Bay Packers, I'm thinking, okay, you know,
hopefully the Niners can give the Packers some trouble and take a win out of Lambo with them.
But that was not the case, Richard.
They got plenty of excuses that they can point blame to with no-boats.
no Purdy, no Trent Williams, no Charverius Ward, obviously Brandon Ayuk being out for the season.
But this one was ugly.
They just couldn't get their feet under them.
And the Packers took advantage, Richard.
This was bad.
Like, what do you, when does it end?
Does it get any worse than this for the Niners?
I don't know if it gets any worse, but what the thing that just hurt me more than anything was the tackling.
Like, there were.
15 missed tackles in the first half alone.
I just have never seen it from these same men in these jerseys.
Now there are some new faces, some some new people on the D line,
but 15 missed tackles in a game is mind-boggling, but 15 and a half of
football, I just, I mean, it was, it was disappointing to watch.
It was disappointing to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to,
feel helpless. You feel helpless watching it happen because Josh Jacobs just was doing whatever
he wanted. I mean, it looked like two or three guys have a hold of him and he just runs through
the tackle. I mean, it was demoralizing consistently. And that was just the first drive of the game
that he was doing this. He was, I think he had 77 yards in the first border or something like that.
And it just seemed like they had no answer to stop him. He was hitting the first level, second level,
third level. And they were just really taking the hearts of the San Francisco 49ers.
I think their first drive may have been seven minutes. And it just seemed like it was just
an inevitability that they would score on that drive. Then you say, okay, all right, it's a rough start
for the defense. But that happens sometimes. And you think, hey, the offense, you know, I know you got
a new quarterback, but this is Kyle. He'll craft something up. I know that this, this, that, that
Halfley knows him well, Jeff Halfley. He coached us, the secondary, my first year in San Francisco in
2018, really good coach, understands defense, understands that offense really well, has answers,
has the playmakers in the secondary to make plays. Obviously, Xavier McKinney, friend of the program,
has made a ton of plays and made some plays in this game, but they just couldn't get anything
going. They looked disoriented. I mean, they're slipping, they're sliding,
And in the first half, they really had nothing to hang their hat on.
They end up putting together a touchdown drive, really just more of a sigh of relief
as a fan watching this game to say, man, this could have been really bad in that first half.
Christian Watson drops a wide open touchdown.
And you just say, maybe that's the break.
The San Francisco 49ers' defense needed to get back on track to make some plays.
And in the second half, for all intents and purposes, the offense,
start it's okay but you know i isn't able to convert on fourth down in the first drive at the second
half defense stands up the defense is looking like there were old selves in that second half
getting stops tackling moving flying around then here come the turnovers interception then a
fumble uh in the pocket from from brandon allen and then a fumble from christian mcalfrey and that's when
you know mitchell this was not their day i i really don't have the answers because you knew that
the injuries, this team is so top-heavy that when you're without your high-paid guys,
when you're without Trent Williams, the O-Line is going to be average to below-average.
I mean, without him, that's why he paid him so much money to come back.
That's what when he was holding out, he knew that he would get his money because without him,
they are not a great or good offensive line.
But with him, they move into a different stratosphere because they can do a lot of things
to slide away to protect the rest of those guys and really make his job very difficult
sliding away, him on the backside, running towards him, running behind 71 like they always do.
But when he's not there, the identity just changes.
And the offense didn't do Brandon Allen any favors today.
Drop passes all over the place.
Tuddin drops past.
Debo dropped one in traffic.
It looked like, you know, he was about to get hit.
It was a tight window pass led to an intercept.
for Xavier McKinney, and it just couldn't get right.
You couldn't find a way, you couldn't see it,
and I just don't see the hope, you know, that I want to see.
And I know that people are like, man, they're considering Daniel Jones.
Even that's disappointing to me, Mitchell.
That just shows me how.
I know you want him, Richard.
I know you want him there in San Francisco.
You've spoken too highly of him this entire season, man.
I would love to see him don't a 49ers red jersey.
just for you, my friend.
The other side of the field, this Packers team,
and they're six and one in the last seven games.
Of course, they took the L to my Lions.
But, you know, they've been winning tight games, minus this game.
They've beaten the Rams, the Cardinals, the Texans by two, the Jags by three,
the Bears last week by one, and now they beat up on your depleted 49ers.
How worried should the rest of the NFC be about these Green Bay Packers?
I don't know if you're worried, but you're as good as your record is, and they have a great record.
They're eight and three in a very, very difficult NFC North.
So you got to give them credit.
They've been, you know, Josh Jacobs, this is probably one of his best games,
just consistent this game.
26 carries.
Anytime a back got over 26 carries, 103 yards, three touchdowns,
that's a bruising, punishing performance,
one that really takes the will of the defense and demoralizes.
And if they can live like that, I feel a lot better than if they have to rely,
on Jordan Love to consistently win them games.
Not that he's not talented enough,
but it's just a propensity if he keeps throwing the football to turn it over.
And he has this season at a really high tilt.
This game, you know, only threw the ball 23 times for 163 yards,
but it had two touchdown.
And even one of the passes, it was obviously a play, a free play,
but he threw an interception on that pass and had a couple other interceptable passes.
But when he's able to push the ball down the field and pick his spots,
and they have a great running game and defenses causing chaos.
Rashon Gary gets a sack.
Lucas Van Ness gets a sack, forced fumble,
fumble recovery at the 16-yard line,
short fields for the offense.
I think it's perfect for what he's able to do
and it makes them a very dangerous team.
But just like we saw last year in the playoffs,
if you force him to win the game with his arm consistently,
it can go great because he's an accurate ball pass.
He's an accurate thrower to football.
and he can make tight window throws, but he's also a high risk taker.
That's why you see all the interceptions happening.
So I think Green Bay Packers fans and in LaFleur would feel better if they have this running game going like it is
in order to just to really kind of keep him buoyed and keep him, give him a really strong foundation
and base to work around so all the pressure isn't on his shoulders.
So I feel good about him, but just like the Minnesota Vikings, what are they nine?
in two now.
Yeah.
And, you know, do you feel like, hey, every team in the NFC should fear them and
nobody wants to see them in the playoffs?
I don't know if everybody feels like that, but their record is fantastic.
So they're going to be the fifth seed.
And I don't know if you're the four seed.
Four seed is, who is it, Tampa Bay?
If they're, you know, if they're shaking in their boots when the Minnesota Vikings
come to town or if they be shaking in their boots playing the Green Bay Packers, I just don't know.
Yeah.
Well, they're going to have a big test this Thanksgiving on Thursday.
night against the dolphins. When the dolphins come to town, the dolphins are hot right now.
You know, for folks that are done with Thanksgiving dinner, just fresh off of watching Tommy
DeVito take on Cooper Rush, there's a dozy of a game on Thursday night. So we'll see there.
But then the Niners, they need to get right quick. They go on the road to Buffalo next Sunday
night. Richard, that's going to be a one to watch. Is that a must-wing game at this point for them?
every game is a must win.
Every single game is a must win, and it's literally,
if they lose another game,
the playoffs are pretty much out of the picture,
and you're playing for pride at that point
just because of how well these other teams they're playing.
We just talked about two other wildcard teams
with two and three losses.
And then you have teams in your division
that have beat you continuing to elevate.
Seattle Seahawks defense has found their rhythm.
Their offense scored against Arizona Cardinals team
that hasn't given up a touchdown in two games.
And so if they start to find their footing and start to create distance, then I get even more stressed out about this team because you just, I just can't understand where the wins are going to come from.
And you just, I just don't, I don't recognize this team.
I don't recognize it.
There's not a foundation.
There's not somewhere that you say, hey, they're a defensive team or they're an offensive team.
Or they run the ball well, or they do this well.
or, I mean, let's not even mention what the special teams have been doing.
So it's a must win, but I'm slowly but surely just begrudgingly losing hope in this season.
And I have as much faith in esteem as anybody.
I thought they'd be in a Super Bowl this season.
And it's very hard to watch this tape week after week and without being honest with myself and saying,
ah, I just, I don't know.
You know, I don't know.
I'm going to watch Buffalo this week.
I'm going to watch San Francisco.
tape and I'm just going to try to find the answers and try to find ways I could see this
team beating Buffalo in Buffalo after watching what Buffalo did to the Kansas City Chiefs
what Buffalo has done this season. It's going to be it's going to be tough.
Brock Purdy isn't healthy. If Trent Williams isn't healthy, if they're not getting a spark
from somewhere, then the NFL season is rolling along and contenders are starting to separate
from the pack. The one thing that hasn't changed all season, Draft King's Sportsbook,
an official sports betting partner of the NFL is the number one place to bet touchdowns.
Fade to the corner of the end zone, running back breaks through the line and galp 60 yards for a

It's time for a look at this weekend's Taseous Matchup.
In a segment, we're calling Sunday night foodball.
Brought to you by Uber Eats.
Seattle reclaims the lead of the NFC West today against Arizona Cardinals
and looked pretty dominant defensively in doing so.
Arizona came into this game on a winning streak.
They looked like the hottest team in the NFC West,
the team that was looking to take a stranglehold on the division,
and they go on the road and have to deal with the 12s.
And Kyler Murray looked like a shell of himself out there.
While he throws for 285, this defense really kept them under check,
especially with the run game.
James Connor only rushed for eight yards.
Kyler Murley only got nine yards.
Richard, how much did you like Seattle Seahawks defense today?
I loved it. I loved it.
I loved Leonard Williams.
Let's start with Leonard.
Williams because he was an absolute game record this game. And this is, that's why they paid him.
That's why they went and got him. And he went out there and really dominated from beginning to
end of this game. You look at the stats, they look fantastic. But even they don't really tell
the tale of how dominant he was in the run game, the past game, two and a half sacks, three TFLs,
a past deflection, and just contributed to a lot of Kyloor Murray being uncomfortable. He led to other
guys getting sacks. Boy, Yeh, Mafei, Tyrese Knight looked really, really good, young guy that they
drafted, that, you know, they expected to come in after they, you know, release Dots, Tyrell Dotson,
and they traded the other guy and got Ernest Jones. Ernest Jones has been a revelation. You have to
give him a lot of credit being able to come in, learn a very difficult system, the way he has
anchored this defense flying around, but also shooting gaps when they're there.
putting a lot of pressure in the blitz game.
He looks like the guy that they expected when they traded him,
the guy they're so high on.
He's changed the complexity of this defense in his own right,
but this defensive line in Leonard Williams is a whole other story.
And then, Mitchell, let me get to Devin Witherspoon,
because the Kobe Bryant pick six was a play that I don't know if everybody understands.
It's a short yardish play, which puts the corner in a very,
tough spot on the edge.
Because when they play action and the receiver blocks down,
as soon as the receiver cracks and blocks down,
a great corner, you got a trigger.
You got a trigger.
And I got to come up there and get ready to tackle James Connor
and get him on the ground.
And hopefully we get this stop and we off the field.
And it's going to be man-e-man, mono-imono,
grown-man tackle.
Let's get him to the ground.
He got fooled.
He got fooled.
And some people hesitate in those situations.
You got fooling.
like, oh, he got me. Where's my receiver? I know he's somewhere behind me, wide open,
panic, panic, panic, and you just see the completion. You tackle him and you just shake your
head all the way back to the huddle. But you know what Devin Witherspoon did, Mitchell? He said,
nah, I'm just going to play fast. Trust my instincts. And kept going after Kyler Murray. Put pressure
on Kyler Murray in a play. He wasn't supposed to be there. He wasn't supposed to be blitz,
and he's supposed to be covered. But that's where his instincts took him. And when you play fast,
And you don't hesitate, you can erase mistakes.
And not that it was really a mistake,
but he erased what could have been at easy first down
and turned it into a pick six.
Give Kobe Bryant a ton of credit,
taking advantage of his hop.
Been fantastic since he's coming to the lineup during this season.
So happy for him.
So great to see because when he caught that ball,
he didn't hesitate, down the lane, full speed,
straight to the house,
69 yards, this defense is cooking.
And if they can play like this, it's a scary sight to see because this offensive
line is getting healthier, Abe Luke.
This is going to work his way back in, knocked the rust off.
They beat up Gino a little bit, but he was still able to score a touchdown to JSCN
on a defense that hadn't given up a touchdown in 24 drives.
The other touchdown, just like we said, Kobe Bryant with the 69-yard pick six,
Jackson Smith and Jigba continues to make his impact, six catches for 77 yards in that
touchdown that we talked about.
So many positive to take from this game.
But I thought that Arizona would lose this game.
It just looks so much different than when Arizona played the Seahawks the first time.
This time, it just looked like Seattle's defense had something on their mind.
They held on the six points.
They really looked dominant.
They look confident.
They look confident from the same.
secondary to the D line, the lineback in court, everybody looked confident. You didn't see the
infighting. You didn't see the division. You didn't see the finger pointing just dogs out there
hunting. And that's what great defense looked like, Mitchell, and that's what they had. So the
NFC West should be a little bit scary because the San Francisco 49ers may have just given them
the boost that they needed to catapult them into the playoffs this year because it started with
that last quarter in San Francisco. No question.
question. I mean, this Seattle team looks resilient. They look a lot better. I know a lot of changes
were made at that trade deadline. It looks like, it looks like John Schneider made the right moves and this
defense clicking. If Gino and this offense can get things going consistently and score more than
16 points, you got to look out for them. They got a favorable matchup next week against the Jets,
albeit on the road. And then the Cardinals have got to go to Minnesota. So you're seeing your
division foes have some tough matchups. Seattle could get.
a little separation here going.
That was this week's Sunday night food ball, brought to you by Uber Eats,
the official on-demand delivery partner of the NFL.
Uber Eats has the best game day deals all season long.
Order now for game day.
Richard, we already talked a bit about the NFC North,
and I want to talk about my Detroit Lions on the road today against Indianapolis,
Colts.
The Colts coming into this game, 5 and 6, not the best record,
but they are a competitive team.
They're tough.
They got a good defense.
They got a mobile quarterback, and you're going on the road for the Detroit Lions who've won nine straight games now.
This is the first time they started 10-0-1 since 1934.
They are 6-0 on the road.
And as I mentioned earlier, Richard, they haven't allowed a touchdown since halftime of the Houston Texans game three weeks ago.
This defense has given up a grand total of 12 points in the last 10 quarters.
And Aaron Glenn has this secondary and defensive line.
weathering the storm of dealing with injuries to huge players like Aidan Hutchinson and Alex
Anzolone and playing without their first round pick Terry on Arnold.
And yet they're still able to accomplish so much.
How much are you falling in love with my Detroit Lions right now, Rich?
Well, Mitchell, what is there not to love when you're playing great defense?
I love to see it.
And they're continuing to see these young players that they drafted, that they, that they're developing thrive.
Kirby Joseph, among the league leaders and interceptions.
But on the offensive side, like you said, they're a little bit of struggling,
but Jemir Gibbs still had 21 carries for 90 yards, two touchdowns, rushing.
Montgomery got a little banged up in this game, but had eight carries for 37 yards in the TD.
Amon Raq still got his.
Jared Galt didn't turn the ball over or didn't throw an interception.
And they were able to hold the Indianapolis Colts and Anthony.
and he Richardson without a score in this game after he played a really solid game last week.
So, I mean, what is there not to love about this team?
Like you said, they're just rugged.
They just get the job done.
And no matter what happens in this game, they believe, just like we hear from the Kansas City Chiefs,
I don't think there's ever any panic in Detroit.
And that's something that I don't think you could have said at really any time in the history of the Detroit Lions,
at least a recent history since I've been alive in.
I'm 36.
There is no panic when they throw five interceptions.
There's no panic when they stumble out the gates.
There's no overconfidence when they score on the first three drives at a game.
You don't see them just take their foot off the gas.
At times, you watch them in games where they're dominating and you're like,
hey, maybe y'all should just maybe put the tools in.
Like, is there a mercy rule?
Like maybe somebody should call somebody and tell them that's enough.
That's enough.
Throwing it like like they said in Rock,
throwing the town.
But nobody's throwing in the town.
Mitchell, they are on a mission and it just seems like a revenge tour.
And I know nobody in Detroit is saying it.
But they're showing it.
They don't have to say it.
Mitchell, they're saying it with their shoulder pads and their actions
that they are on an absolute revenge tour
and they are kicking ass and taking names each and every single week.
Now, nobody expected the Indianapolis coach to win this game.
I don't think anybody yet.
I definitely didn't.
But you know what great teams do?
They do exactly what you expect them to do.
They did not want to disappoint the Indianapolis coach.
They came in there expecting to get kicked in the face.
And guess what?
Detroit came in there and kicked them in the face.
And that's the thing I think is most special
and not appreciated enough about this Detroit Lions team,
is that you rarely see them coming to games
and underwhelmed, underplay.
Now, football balances different ways.
You can't always control that.
You do have turnovers.
You don't, you have unexpected things happen.
But the things that take no talent, the things that they can control,
they are masters at.
And I think Dan Campbell deserves a ton of credit for that.
I think he's going to be amongst the final candidates for coach of the year,
obviously well deserved.
I think Mike Tomlin will be in there as well.
But kudos to him and the culture and the staff.
and the players that they've put in place because this is an impressive team.
And I can't wait to see them next week. Thanksgiving, playing the Bears.
It's going to be a fun stretch for the Detroit Lions.
They've got a couple division matchups against the Bears and then the Green Bay Packers.
And then they host the Buffalo Bills, which is going to be must-see TV.
Jerry Goff this week said, you know, he knows perfection's impossible in football.
But that's what the team's focusing on is chasing perfection.
They know that they've got all the people in-house that can make this happen.
And they're getting better at the small things, game in and game out.
And that's just what's so impressive with this team.
I'm really looking forward to them to have these primetime matchups against teams that,
and arguably are some of the best in the league, especially with the Buffalo Bills.
We'll see how good the Detroit Lions truly are.
Because to me, in the Vegas, they look like the best team in football.
And before we leave this game, it's time we got to honor our player in pride,
I'm brought to you by our friends and partners over at Brightling.
He's got the same Honolulu Blue Brightling Watch that I have on,
and that's Jamir Gibbs.
Richard, I know you had an opportunity to chat with him last week.
I mean, how much did you love his game today?
Well, Detroit Lions fans, if you haven't got a chance to check out my interview with
Jamir Gibbs, please scroll down and check that out because such a fun interview,
such a great guy, great human being, and a fun interview.
and I just love to see the success.
He's just been impressive in the run game and in the past game.
And every time they need more of him, he gives more.
And I think he just relishes in the opportunity that he's been given.
And it seemed like somebody pissed him off because on one of those touchdowns,
he turned around.
And as he has done all season, he outran the defense to the edge.
And he kept looking at the defender and letting him know about it.
And this isn't a division foe.
This isn't a team they play very often.
But you could just feel that as a.
And I think the rest of the team is feeding off of his confidence and his attitude.
When somebody else, when somebody needs to step up and the play needs to be made,
he seems to be the one making it very consistently for that offense.
And you absolutely love to see him.
Well, he is our player in prime time.
Again, brought to you by our friends and partners at Brightling.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, huge news?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman,
Help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, S&L's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an acapella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

What's up, fam, it's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm CJ Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
and finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's first first,
friends stop by like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nash will get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court,
licking his fingers why he got the ball. Like, after you go through a training camp with
that, I said, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you
going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts. This week on Crimless, we're joined by our first ever guest.
Sorry, our first ever human guest.
I don't think I could be in the same room with Shamrock the parrot.
I'd be too nervous.
That's right.
The very funny Will Ferrell joins Rory Scovel and me, Josh Dean,
for an episode dedicated to the many crimes committed by people also named Will Ferrell.
They called to his fellow officer for the nippers.
What are the nippers?
Very good question.
No, I was thinking, would that be a good name for like a salad dressing?
Simple assault.
And it's a play on word, salt?
Maybe not.
I say we invest and we see.
There's only one way to know.
This did not amuse the cops.
By the way, normally the cops are amused, but this did not abuse the cops.
Will even comes clean about some of his own crimes.
I didn't get caught.
You know why?
If you don't want to be suspected of anything, you whistle as you walk.
Listen to crime lists on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War.
To get to school, I had to go down Robert Ely Boulevard.
Get to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway.
If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job.
I'm Akila Hughes.
in Rebel Spirit Season 2 goes deep on both of those things.
The fights, the politics, the people who won,
and my personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House
that's actually worth the wall space.
We are more than our bodies.
We contain essence.
We contain spirit.
How do you represent that?
They are just fueling a fire that is really catching.
You'll see what I mean.
Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app,

The Washington commanders or one of the hottest teams in football, we were talking to them.
They even made a quick showing in your top five of your power ranks.
And since that day, since you gave them all this fanfare that you gave them and talk so highly about their defense and Jaden Daniels and their coaching staff, they've lost three straight.
I mean, let's not make light of it.
They lost at home against the lowly at this point, Dallas Cowboys.
Richard, is there any hope on the horizon for this Washington commander team?
There's hope on the horizon, but it's starting to fade quick because the rocket that took off that was Jaden Daniels coming out the gates is starting to peter out and crash back towards Earth at a very alarming rate.
He started off so fast, only two interceptions, really efficient, really accurate, breaking records for efficiency numbers.
and he has been the absolute opposite in the last few games.
And mind you, this is what has been the bane of Cliff Kingsbury,
his entire NFL tenure as a head coach, as a play caller.
The first half of the season, you've seen the Arizona Cardinals go eight, no, six and two,
really good football.
Second half of the season, they're under 500.
I mean, two, three wins at most, and losing.
And you see it again.
like defenses have figured him out. They figure his rhythm out, figure out the things he likes,
and literally run the table on him every single year. So Cliff has to get that fixed because
this isn't just a Dayton Daniels problem. It's a Cliff Kingsbury problem. And it's a problem
and a pattern that's really popped up over the second half of every single season and Cliff
Kingsbury's career. Michael Parsons showed up in a big way, two sacks in this game. CD Lamb had
10 catches, 67 yards. Cooper Rush kept the ball away from the defense. Very efficient, 2432,
247 yards, two touchdown. But it was 10-9 going into the fourth quarter. So 41 points
between these teams in the fourth quarter, which is really crazy. It's really crazy. I don't know.
I mean, I wonder what happened. I mean, maybe they just made the right adjustments. Somebody figured
or something out. Clearly there was a special team's touchdown in there.
But the Washington commanders have to figure it out because Jaden Daniels has come back to Earth
in the last three games, only three touchdowns and three interceptions.
That's not good enough and it's not going to be good enough.
They have a game against the Tennessee Titans coming up and that's a very, very tough defense
as well.
It's going to play a lot of man to man, put a lot of pressure on the quarterback and do just enough
offensively to support it.
They're going to run the ball.
They make some plays.
Will Levis.
It hasn't been the greatest quarterback in the world,
but he's good enough to get it done if you make mistakes against this defense.
So that game is going to be really interesting.
And the Cowboys can get another win Thanksgiving Day against Tommy DeVito
and the New York Giants who just looked like they pretty much melded in,
got their behinds beat against the Miami Dolphins.
I think it was.
And didn't look like they even had a chance in that game.
Didn't look like they looked very uninspired after,
battling a lot of this season. But again, you know, these division games, you never know how
it's going to go and they know each other so well. I mean, I put nothing past anybody in the division
game. Yeah, it's, it is crazy to see the Cowboys. I mean, this is the time that they should be
tanking and looking at possibly getting your guy, Shador Sanders, but give them credit coming out,
staying hungry, getting a win on the road. But we're talking about the commanders and their
struggles. And there's other teams, you know, that are going through those same woes. And another one is
of Houston Texans. By yourself, Richard, Houston, we have a problem.
Oh, definitely got a problem. And we watched the start of their problems. I thought when we
had them against the New York Jets, that was an easy win for them, you know, a team that I've expected
to be competitors and contenders this season. And as we talked about, if you want to be a contender,
you have to win the games you're supposed to win, and they have not done that. They've lost
games they were not supposed to lose, including this one. I mean, they lose to the Titans at home.
I got to be worried about them. They've lost three of the last four, four of the last six.
Stroud is five interceptions over the last three games. And this is with Nico Collins coming back
into the lineup. He started this season off struggling and kind of found his way and kind of has
gotten back to struggling. And that's a bad formula. His defense has played better than they
have, but they did not do well enough to win this game, even though DeNeil Hunter had three
sacks. I think Will Anderson had a couple of sacks. So, I mean, they made the plays that were
there, but you've got to do more. When more is required, you have to give more. And they just weren't
able to do it. I think they have to find some answers. Or, again, they're going to squander a really,
really great opportunity with a really talented young team. They do. They have a great opportunity.
Fortunately for them, their division is, you know, certified garbage and they're going to walk away with it.
But it's so important for them to get on a win streak before they get into the playoffs because you're right.
They are getting back to being somewhat healthy with Nico Collins back.
They're fortunate to have Joe Mixing on this squad.
They should go back to basics, run the football, get the hot hand involved, and we'll see what happens with Houston.
but another team that is tied for the best record in football.
He's Kansas City Chiefs,
and they welcome in the Carolina Panthers,
11-point favorites,
and the Panthers tied the game late.
Fortunately for the Chiefs,
Mahomes does what he does
and brings him down the field for a game-winning field goal.
But, you know, you got to give the champs their credit.
But, I mean, the eye test just doesn't look there for me.
Am I off in that analysis, or do you feel the same way?
There ain't no eye test when it comes to them, and there ain't no eye test when it comes to Patrick Mahomes.
You give credit where it is due, and I do not care what people say about these wins and what they could and should and would be.
They are 10 and 1, and they continue.
Last year, they struggled and limped into the playoffs and went into every away stadium and walked away with a dub, went to the Super Bowl,
took it to O.T, was not pretty, and they won the Super Bowl.
None of it was pretty.
Did not look pretty.
The only thing pretty is at the end of the day, they got a ring with diamonds on it that said back to back.
So me watching them struggle with the lowly Carolina Panthers, if it was other teams, I'd have a lot to say.
But I cannot say much about a team that has proven their point constantly, consistently, consistently, that none of this matters in the regular season.
It does not. Good, bad, or indifferent.
until you show me that in the playoffs,
somebody can take this ugly winning football team
to the wire and make them go home with an ale,
I'm not going to put nothing against them.
Congratulations, Kansas City fans.
Y'all won another one, 10 and 1.
You guys are rolling.
But how can I say anything about it, Mitchell?
They have earned grace.
They have outright earned it.
And Patrick Mahomes,
I'm sure everybody, when they,
saw how much time was left on the clock.
Against Buffalo, they were down 10.
And something tells me they panned over to Josh Allen.
And something tells me he was sitting there thinking,
I know there's only like 30 seconds.
Can he throw a 10 point touchdown?
Can he do that?
Is there a way?
Because when you have Patchamohms at the helm,
if there's time left on the clock and that score is one score or less,
you think you lost.
It was tied.
When I saw it was tied, I just turned the TV off, Mitchell.
I think he had a minute, 40 or something to go.
I turned the TV off.
I went to the next game.
I knew what was over.
Mitchell, I've seen this story before.
This script has been written before.
I know how this ends, and it ends with the Kansas City Chiefs win.
And until somebody shows me otherwise, until the luck runs out and they find a rabbit foot
and whoever's shoe it's in, don't talk to me about the Kansas City Chiefs and these wins,
because they keep rolled.
I get you.
I mean, and Patrick Mahomes, you know, shout out to him.
It's time for our segment.
Ovation of the day brought to you by our friends at Ovation for men.
The ovation, standing ovation, in fact, goes to Patrick Mahomes.
He proves it again.
Richard, this guy is the best player in professional football,
and I don't think it's up for debate.
The confidence he exudes.
And like you said, yeah, they're playing Carolina.
And Carolina is playing with their heart and soul,
tying the game late.
but you know you give Patrick Malhoms any amount of time the football on his hands that game
is over and it's going to end in Kansas City's favor they're going to be an incredibly difficult
out in the in the playoffs especially through that aFC gauntlet that he's going about to go through
so shout out to him ma'am shout out to him and shout out to his new little move of the
running to the sideline and faking everybody keeps assuming he going to go out I need you
to stop assuming that because that man is figured it out. He figured out, y'all going to slow up.
I know I'm going to take advantage. And he is a real deal killer. He's got killer instinct.
And that's what he's showing. People are like, oh, man, he should be ashamed. Why should he be ashamed of
itself? If there's something in this game to exploit, then exploit it. That is what this game is about.
If it's a technique, if it's a hand placement, if it's a rule, that's what champions do.
That's what winners do. And winners are, and that's why he keeps winning.
because he has figured this game out.
He's playing at a different level.
And that's the thing about being a great player in this league.
If you've never been great at anything,
then you don't know what this feels like.
I'm sorry.
You've never dealt with it.
But when you're a great receiver,
you're a great corner,
your great quarterback,
or you're a great team,
the other guys are thinking about you
when they prepare throughout the week.
You may not be thinking about them.
You're just thinking about,
hey, I got another team.
Man, they got this offense.
I'm preparing for these plays.
Cool, cool.
they're thinking I got to beat Patrick Mahones this week.
I got to beat Richard Sherman.
I'm going to give him my best.
He's never going to have sleep.
I'm losing sleep.
I'm staying up extra.
I'm watching extra because that is their Super Bowl.
And each and every week, teams play the Kansas City Chiefs,
and that's their Super Bowl.
And they're playing it like that.
And congratulations to the Carolina Panthers and Bryce Young.
Bryce Young is really rebounded since he's come back into the lineup
and really played some inspiring football.
Went toe to toe with Patrick Mahomes.
here with a much less talented team.
So maybe this is good for their development and still good for the Carolina
Panthers because they don't want to win this game, really.
In reality, they want to pick high and continue to add talent to this team.
So good on them.
You showed enough that you needed to show that you could go toe to toe to with the Super Bowl champs
and you still got an awful record and you're going to be picking high.
Best case scenario for the Carolina Panthers.
No question about that.
Well, that's the ovation of the day brought to you by our.

Richard, you're going to be taking some time off this week, much deservedly so in London.
But when you get home, you're going directly to Kansas City to see them firsthand take on
the Las Vegas Raiders.
And it's time for our TNF preview presented by Prime Video.
This game will not be on Thursday night.
It's on Black Friday.
Richard, how excited are you to go and see this Kansas City Chiefs team and Patrick Mahomes?
first hand. I'm really excited. I'm really excited. We just talked about them and they just
keep finding ways to win and they're playing a two and nine Las Vegas Raiders. Again, a divisional
game that you can never put past anybody. Waders are going to be hyped up. They beat Kansas City in
this situation, very situation before where they're massive underdogs. They really have no chance
to win and then they find a way to win the ball game. But I don't think the Kansas City Chiefs
They're going to overlook them in any way.
I think they're built to win these kind of games.
I'm excited to see Patrick Mahones, Xavier Worthy,
and really this Spaggs defense as they continue to evolve and develop
with all their playmakers, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, McDuffie, friend of the program.
They just are the standard.
And any time you get a chance to watch the team that just won the Super Bowl back-to-back,
the team that's got the number one seed in their side of the conference,
It's going to be a pleasure.
And I expect the Las Vegas Raiders to not just fold over and give it to them.
They're going to put up a fight.
They're going to come with everything they got and try to make this a game and try to walk away with winning.
Well, that's this week's TNAF preview presented by Prime Video.
Be sure to check out the Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs this Friday.
That can clue.
I mean, we're well on our way through the season.
Week 12, fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner.
