Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.

Sike, I'm a comedian.
I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to me.
This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the day.

new year's, accomplish it all your New Year's resolutions, and staying healthy.
Welcome back to the Richard Sherman podcast, and you know what time it is?
It's Super Bowl time.
The Seattle Seahawks returned to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2014,
and they play the same opponent that they played in 2014.
But Mitchell, this time the result is going to be different.
But we'll get to that game in a second.
Right now we've got to talk about Sam Darno.
MVP, MVP.
Sam Darnel could not have played a better game.
You talk about beating the allegations.
Sam Darno can't play against the rank.
Sam Donald can't be playing the playoffs.
Sam Donald can't play in the clutch.
Sam Donald on his way to the Super Bowl.
Sam Donald, 25 to 36, 3, 346 yards,
three touchdowns.
Guess how many interceptions, Mitchell?
Zero.
Zero.
Zilch.
They did not get the end,
they did not get a turnover off of him.
He did have a fumble in the game
where it was a mishandled snap,
but we're not gonna talk about that.
He may play after play,
converted third down after third down,
and on the flip side, that defense,
The dark side.
Wasn't the perfect game for them, but they made stops when it mattered.
They made the stops in critical third down stops.
They held the Rams to one for eight on third down,
which really had a huge factor in determining the outcome of this ball game.
And then our guy, Jackson Smith and Jigba,
and everybody messes his name up.
So just say J.S.N.
If you're going to the Super Bowl, you don't know his name.
JSCN is perfectly acceptable to say.
You don't got to go, you know, butchering his last name.
You don't got to do that.
in is perfectly fine, probably the offensive player at a year, and they're playing against the likely
MVP of the league in Matthew Stafford and Mitchell. It was a master performance by him. We're not
going to take anything away from Matthew Stafford. He was 22 of 35, 375, 374 yards, three touchdowns.
He did his same, but it wasn't good enough. It was not good enough. It was not good enough
because the way Sam Donald controlled this game.
He controlled it from start to finish.
K-9 didn't have a huge game,
but he made an impact in the past game,
converting a huge third down,
I think it was a third and 10.
Caught an out route.
Mitchell, that was the last thing I was expecting them to throw
in that situation was an out,
a 10-yard out to 9-yard-out to K-9.
And he converted.
They threw a touchdown to my guy, Bobo.
Again, unexpected play,
off of a big play, off of the big.
muffed punt turnover, they convert.
Obviously, we got to talk about Rick Woolen and that whole situation.
But Mitchell, I'm just so excited.
I know you're fired up, Richard.
You deserve to be so.
I mean, what a win for the Seattle Seahawk team.
But we've been talking about their defense all week long and how dominant they were.
This game was ultimately won by Sam Darnold.
What an impressive showing by him.
Again, we go back to the talent evaluation in the offseason.
Moving on from Gino Smith, insert Sam Darnold.
He delivers in the clutch for the Seattle Seahawk team, Richard.
I'll be honest with you.
I did not see this coming going into the season.
What a turnaround for this team, winning a very competitive division in the NFC West.
My goodness, Richard, I know you're fired up.
We got to see some peril because, Richard, the last time the Seattle Seahawks made the Super Bowl, you were on the team.
How does this team compare to the 2013, 2014 Seattle Seahawk time?
Let's not do the comparing contrasting.
I know you don't want to go there.
I know you don't.
And we don't need to go there because it's two different, it's two different animals and two different species of animal.
But they're going to the same place and they're going to an NFC West's opponent stadium to try to win a Super Bowl.
That's the similarities.
That's the contrast.
And they're playing against the New England Patriots, but a big change, Mitchell is the quarterback position.
They don't have touchdown Tom Brady at the helm.
They have a young Drake May who is on his way, a MVP candidate this year, had a fantastic
football year, but Drake May, these boys are hungry.
They are hungry, Drake May, starving.
You know, like this defense is flying around.
It was not perfect.
They're playing against Matthew Stafford and Sean McVeigh.
They had an incredible plan.
They did a good job.
Pooka and the Kua had nine for 165 in a touchdown.
Divisional opponents know each other.
They do well.
The Patriots have a really good offense, a really good defense, really good special teams,
well coached, great scheme, great disguise, all the things.
But they are running into a buzzsaw.
They are running into a bussaw.
And if Sam Darnell is playing the way he played in this game, it's going to be tough.
That's going to be a tough team to beat.
You're not going to have to worry about the conditions.
The Patriots have played in tough conditions in the last couple games.
I think all three games
because the two games in New England
and then played in snowy conditions in Denver.
This is going to be a 55 degree night
in San Francisco with clear skies and blue eyes.
You're going to have to deal with this defense
in the looks that Mike McDonald is going to give you,
the looks at Clint Kubiak,
who was in his absolute bag in this game.
The touchdown to Jackson Smith and Gigboe,
the way he manipulated the defense,
You put a receiver in the backfield.
There's very outside of man coverage.
It's much more difficult for the defense to account for them on deep vertical routes.
They held the backside corner.
They're to the short side of the field, to the weak side of the field, and they ran a corner route.
Nobody's responsible for him.
Like, do you handle it with the linebackers?
It's a safety responsible for it.
That's not where their eyes are going.
Their eyes are going to totally different places because that play was schemed up
for this specific defense.
It was wide open.
Sam Darnold did not miss it.
He hit it right on the nails.
Bang, touchdown.
Beautifully drawn up play.
And you can still see Rashid Shaheed.
Rashid Shaheed at a 51-yard catch
where they just dropped back early in the game
and said, hey, you are going to respect the speed of this man.
Or we're going to punish you.
The Rams play with their safety so shallow.
They played it shallow.
The first two games, this game, you played it shallow.
You got punished.
The rest of that game,
For the most part, the safety's played with a little bit more respect and depth around Rashid Shaheed.
And he didn't get another opportunity to take top off the defense.
But I think going into this game against the New England Patriots, that's going to be something they're hyper aware of.
They play a lot of man coverage.
They have incredible corners that can get the job done.
But that's the kind of, that's next man speed.
That's next man speed.
That's the speed that will blow by you.
And so they're going to have to be aware.
that. And then Jackson Smith and Jigba and his relationship and chemistry with Sam Darnold is
incredible. And then K-9, just being a workhorse. He was a workhorse tonight. Carried the ball
19 times. That's a lot of carries for a young back. There isn't, there wasn't the sharing of the
backfield, split backfield that they've had with Charbonnet. He had to carry the load in. He
did a fantastic job. I love this team. I love what they did. Nick M. N. Worry. You talk
about defense of MVP Mitchell. He was everywhere like Project Roaches. I mean everywhere.
You look over here. Is he playing corner? Is he playing safety? Is he playing nickel? Is it two
of them on the field? Mitchell, he made every, it felt like he was in on every tackle, every
critical play. He had multiple PbUs. He guarded everybody from Devante to Puka to Kobe
Parkinson to Kyron Williams. Like I seen him playing Sam. I thought I saw him at D.N. Did I see
him at center for a few plays? I'm not sure. But the man was everywhere. And he's only a
rookie. He's only going to get better. Ooh, I can't wait.
Richard, Mike McDonald's bag on the defensive play calls.
We saw it late in the game.
Take me through the play.
Fourth down, five minutes left in the game.
Matthew Stafford and the L.A. Rams are at the doorstep of the end zone on fourth and four.
And the Rams show a lot of pressure and ultimately drop it back into coverage.
You know, what's going through your mind is a defensive, you know, player?
Someone with dispensive skill sets and analysis like you have.
what's going through your head in a play call like that?
Well, I mean, everything, everything, down and distance, spot on the field, formation,
the plays they like to run out of these formations at this part of the field.
Obviously, the down and distance, they got to get it.
Where's poking in the cool?
Where is the running back?
Who's going to be responsible for him?
Are we going to drop deep?
Are we bringing pressure?
Is the ball coming out fast?
All those things are going through your head.
But again, being calm and chaos is what creates champions.
And again, I said this team was going to be tested, Mitchell.
I said they were going to be tested in this game.
And unfortunately, it was a self-inflicted test, but it was a test all the same.
When Rick Wulin made an incredible play on the football, he's had an incredible resurgence this season, late in this season.
He played a really good game, multiple deflections.
He should have had an interception on that play, and he let his emotions get the best of it.
It happens.
Mitchell, talking about somebody who will get a little emotional out there.
I let it go.
But went a little overboard.
Got the penalty.
I didn't think the refs should have called it,
but they're being tight usually in the playoffs.
NFC championship, they're letting it talk.
But his emotions got the best of them.
They attacked him on the next play.
Touchdown.
Now the game is much closer.
It goes from a full seven-point swing.
They go from punting to football
to scoring a touchdown on the following play.
Fast forward to the sideline.
Tempers, Metro, tempers, flare, frustration because the defense was off the field.
Obvious, natural frustration, that's adversity.
It's sometimes very difficult to rein that back in the right way
and to get that energy back directed the right way.
Sometimes coaches go knee-jerk reaction, snatch, reekwling out the game,
like sit him down, bench him for the game.
Like this is the NFC championship.
These things are happening in seconds and moments.
Like, it's happening in real time.
That's not what Mike McDonald did.
That's not what he did at all.
He said, hey, you're better than, you know, I don't know what he said to him, but I'm guessing
it was something along the lines of, you've got to be better than that.
We can't have that.
But, hey, you go out there and make up for it.
He went out there and finished the game, made some good plays, tackled well, didn't let
it, didn't let it continue to be a hindrance.
The rest of the defense did not let it pull them down.
and allow it to deter them or just track them away from getting a win in that game.
Multiple plays made by Witherspoon.
Spoon made huge plays on that last drive in the end zone,
both plays in the end zone, saving touchdowns.
Incredible, incredible.
And the D-line obviously did what they did.
Again, these guys, a lot of these guys,
most of these guys are playing in their very first Super Bowl.
Sam Darnal, the first, I want to say he's the first quarterback from that 2018 class to even make it to a Super Bowl.
You talk about career arc, you talk about a resurgence, you talk about a comeback story.
Don't call it a comeback.
He's been here for years.
14 win season last year, 14 win season this year, number one seed.
See, team in the Super Bowl.
Right now, if you were talking about other quarterbacks, Mitchell, you'd be talking really greasy about them.
You know, we've talked a lot about other quarterbacks and how.
they've had great regular seasons, but in the playoffs, it hasn't happened.
And we've been waiting for Sam Darnel to have the kind of games that we could say,
hey, he might be a guy because there's so much hesitation to call him the guy
because of the way last season ended, because of the way he was affected by pressure,
because of the four interception game against the Rams the first time.
but boy is getting more and more difficult not to say
Sam Darnel might be one of those guys
I mean layered passes
Dime passes
Great reads poise in the pocket pocket movement
You know getting out of there when he has to
Throwing the ball away when he needs to
Just making good decisions under duress
Changing that narrative
You talk about the guy that was the number three pick in the draft
Looking like a number three pick to me
Mitchell taking his team to the Super Bowl
Obviously, both sides of the ball needed to play well,
but there were multiple drives where they were put in third and ten situations,
and Doug Baldwin was sitting in our suite,
and we were talking the game, the whole game,
and he was like, he's just staying away from negative plays.
Now, did they have a few?
Did he get sacked a few times?
No question.
But he didn't fumble the ball.
He didn't make a crazy decision and a crazy mistake when he got early pressure.
He ate the football, got us to the next play, got there,
hey, take the loss, run the ball, whatever, punt the ball,
way, we'll live to fight another day.
I think that takes poise and maturity.
And they look like a Super Bowl champion to me, Mitchell.
I said it before.
I thought the winner of this game wins the Super Bowl.
I have not changed my opinion.
You've been pretty spot on, and you were spot on coming out of training camp, Richard.
Sam Darnold won this team this game today.
And Richard, it all started last drive of the first half.
I mean, this team is down three points.
They get the ball with under a minute left.
Sam Darnold marches down the field in under a minute.
scores a touchdown to cap off what would have been a three-point deficit going into the half
to being up for.
And then obviously momentum swung.
Seahawks go three and out and ultimately put the ball.
Xavier Scott muffs the putt.
Musts the punt.
And obviously that played such a huge role.
But when you factor in the Xavier Scott blunder and the Tyree woolen blunder,
it kind of cancels each other out.
This Seahawk team deserves to be in this situation.
They deserve to be going to the Super Bowl.
It's going to be in San Francisco.
I know you can't wait.
Richard, you had the opportunity to speak with Tom Brady a little bit pregame.
We saw it on social media.
What's it like connecting with him?
Nine words to say about these Seattle Seahawks.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, Tom always has great words to say.
It's always great catching up, you know, going over, asking about the family,
all the good stuff.
I've been friends for a really long time now.
But he was just talking, you know, glowingly about this defense
and about how they've looked this.
this season in this scheme and even offensively, Jackson Smith and Jigba and what they've done,
and he said a lot of it on the broadcast.
But they're an incredible team.
Like they deserve to be here, spent all three phases of the game.
They're well coached.
And for Mike McDonald to do this the way he has in only his second season is incredible.
Like to take a team, they won 10 games last year, and then they go on and make it to a
Super Bowl and potentially can win a Super Bowl this season.
You talk about a turnaround and just a guy coming in with a plan and executing it and
guys buying into the culture, so many fantastic things.
And if you look now, I wouldn't be surprised if you start to hear about a renegotiation
of Sam Donald's contract because right now, bargain.
Mitchell, I'm talking a bargain.
I'm talking about right now you got a Ferrari for a Honda price, Mitchell, and
And there are people paying 50, 60 million,
50, 60 million to be home in the wild car.
Mitchell, they're paying 60 million wild card, 55,
at the house watching the playoffs.
Like, the Seattle Seahawks are paying $37 million right now going to the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots are on a young kid's rookie deal.
That's usually how it's built.
Hey, rookie deal, you know, built the team around.
them strong team around them, great receivers, all this stuff.
They don't necessarily have the deepest or craziest receiving core you've heard of in terms
of the New England Patriots.
But I'm really impressed with Mike McDonald.
I'm really impressed with this team.
But Sam Darno is changing the narrative in a big way right now.
Sam Darno goes out there and wins this Super Bowl.
The list of people that have won Super Bowls, Mitchell, the list of people that have won Super Bowls
over the last 10 years.
Very exclusive.
I mean, you got Jalen Hertz last year,
but a lot of it is Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes,
Stafford,
like Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Stafford,
Hertz, and then you got to put our guy.
What does that change?
There's a Nick Foles in there, too, Richard.
Let's not forget Nick Foles.
That's so deep.
That's so deep.
That's been 10 years, almost,
it hasn't been 10 years?
That's pretty darn close.
Yeah, but it's about,
I'm talking about recent members.
Sure.
You know, no question you got Nick Foles in there.
But even then, Nick Foles didn't start off as the starter during the season.
Great story.
Nick Foles went out there and did it, played at a high level.
Sam Donald from start to finish, 14 win season.
And we can talk about the turnovers.
He had 20 turnovers.
Turnovers don't matter if you're not doing them into playoffs.
Playoff football is what matters.
And he has not turned it over.
I don't think he's turned it over once in his playoffs.
So, again, playing his best ball when his baseball.
best is required. You know what team I would hate to be right?
Team that's probably catching a ton of strays, especially right now and for the next two weeks leading up to Super Bowl, is the Minnesota Vikings, Richard.
What's going through your head if you're part of that fan base?
If you happen to be the GM of that team, what's going through your head?
Is this you exiting stage right?
Mitchell.
Minnesota Vikings fans.
I tried to tell you Minnesota Vikings fans,
I don't think you made the right decision.
I don't think, but all Minnesota Vikings fans,
wait till you get to the playoffs,
wait till you see him in the playoffs,
wait, he'll show you while we got rid of him.
I'll tell you what,
you might have went out a little too soon.
You know, when you, it's like the fans
that leave a great comeback story way too early.
They're like, all our team lost this game,
and they leave the stadium,
then you hear the stadium roar,
and see the team comes all over.
way back and you're sitting out there like let us back in no we're not letting you back in
minnesota vikings this decision sent you into what we call a rebuild y'all got to figure it out now
you go from 14 wins to trying to find the win and and now y'all probably staying at the win
because you're not you're not in these playoffs you don't have a lot of hope or or certainty
about the future and sam donald's in the super bowl sam donald's in the super bowl and he's likely
going to be favored.
Teams going to be favored.
Just threw for 3.40.
Didn't turn the ball over one.
Played the same Rams team.
Not the same Rams team.
Every team is different.
Every year different team.
But played the Rams team
that sacked him nine times
the year before.
So you talk about having
to go back and face
your fear, Mitchell,
face your demons.
You got to face him.
You got to look them in the eye
and then conquer them.
You got to conquer the dragon.
He conquered it.
He conquered.
The Chris Shula scheme, he was sacked three times, a whole lot different than nine,
and he played effective and efficient football.
The Minnesota Vikings clearly made a mistake.
I think everybody can acknowledge that now.
Sure, there was a narrative that stuck with Sam Darnold.
If they kept him, would they have won 14 years games?
I'm not sure.
But would they be in the playoffs?
I think they would.
Would Justin Jefferson and Addison have had a better season?
No question about it.
Would their offense have run a little bit more smoothly?
I believe so.
But instead, you're watching another team who got him for a bargain, have success.
Now, if J.J. McCarthy somehow ends up having a resurgence year and being the guy,
great.
But you still wasted a year of a lot of your team.
Like, where is Flores next year?
Does he stay with the Minnesota Vikings?
I know they sign him to an extension.
but if he gets a head coaching job, what happens then?
Does that defense look the same?
Things change year to year.
The rest of the teams in your division, the Chicago Bears are getting better.
The Green Bay Packers, your Detroit Lions, everybody in that division is getting better and are you better?
Like, do you have the fourth best quarterback in that division?
Yes, you have the worst.
You have the worst quarterback in the north.
Would that be the truth if you had Sam Donner?
I don't know, but he ain't a Super Bowl right now.
And that's all I can talk about.
All I can talk about is Sam Donald may be about to win a Super Bowl.
And if you talk about going from one team where you get put out in the wildcard
to another team where you win a Super Bowl, he wins the Super Bowl.
Mitchell, that's like your ex-girlfriend going out and marrying a movie star.
And she leaving you and going to marry Jeff Bezos.
And now you've got to live with that.
You got to watch her live this extravagant life.
You thought you were going to do better and the grass was greener.
And now you sitting there eating top ramen and eating ice cream out the tub.
Things change quickly in the national football.
They sure do.
And you want to talk about somebody that is talking.
You look at Sam Darno's career arc, right?
Top five pick ultimately burns out and the Jets goes to Carolina.
Is competing for a backup job with Baker Mayfield there.
Then goes over to San Francisco, ultimately winds up in Minnesota,
and then here we are in Seattle.
I mean, I don't know if many people.
saw this coming. He's on the doorstep of another Super Bowl championship in Seattle.
What a time to be a Seattle Seahawk fan. Richard, I'm so excited. One thing we did leave out
in this conversation is a little bit of a revenge game for Cooper Cup gets into the end zone. Calls,
it got hauls in a huge third and eight, you know, late in that game to convert to ultimately
ice this game. That's got to feel pretty darn good. And Richard, I know you've had experience with
revenge games against your former opponent. That's a big game for.
for Cooper Cup, no question about it.
Today's show is brought to you by our presenting sponsor, Hard Rock Bet, Florida Sportsbook.
The big game matchup is set, and I cannot wait to watch Seattle play New England.

Anytime touchdown Mitchell, perhaps.
Maybe a K-9 touchdown run.
Sam Darnold anytime touchdown
I like it all
I like anything with K9 Richard
I'm calling it going to this game
I like K9 to take home the MVP
I think we saw it in this game
in the NFC championship game
he's capable of toting the rock
single-handedly I see him
getting the ball numerous times
getting over the end zone a couple times
he's my MVP
I like that Metro I like that

Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called,
Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a podcast.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
people could call in and say, hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad.
Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends

What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano,
and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs
without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too.
But get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court,
licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Iza,
you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court,
and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app,

Hey, I'm Jared Adano.
You might know me as that loud guy who yells out,
help on the internet.
Help!
Somebody!
Please!
But there's so much more to me than me.
I'm an actor. I'm a comedian, and recently I've become quite the helper myself.
And on my new podcast, Hope from a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man.
If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice.
one ring is too scary.
Cream a chicken suit.
Hey, cream a chicken suit.
This is Help from a Hypocrite,
the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.

This year, I'm focusing on a small shift that makes a huge difference.
Effortless presence.
It sounds counterintuitive, but for me,
That means planning ahead so I can truly live in the moment, especially when enjoying a few drinks.
My simple trick for staying balanced is taking Zbiotics pre-alcohol before I start.
Zbiotics pre-alcohol probiotic drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic.
It was invented by PhD scientists to tackle rough mornings after drinking.
Here's how it works.
When you drink, alcohol gets converted into toxic byproduct in your gut.
It's a buildup of this byproduct, not dehydration, that's to blame for rough days after drinking.
Pre-alcohol producing is an enzyme to break this byproduct down.
Just remember to make pre-alcohol your first drink of the night, drink responsibly, and you'll feel your best tomorrow.
Every time I have pre-alcohol before drinks, I notice a difference the next day.
Even after a night out, I can confidently plan on going to the gym to get a morning workout and without even worrying.
Ready to try it?

The Rams go home.
The Seattle Seahawks next opponent,
we've already talked about them a little bit here,
is the New England Patriots who took care of business on the road
in a snowy Denver.
Richard, the talk of this game ultimately is going to be the play of Jared Stidham
and the play calling of Sean Peyton.
Let's talk about the very controversial fourth and one call to go for it
instead of taking the points.
The Broncos are up seven points.
in the second quarter of this game on the doorstep at the end zone could ultimately kick a field goal.
They choose to go for two and do not convert.
Richard, these snowy conditions playing with you having one of the top three defenses in the league with a backup quarterback.
Do you take the points in that situation?
Yes, yes, you take the point.
You always take the points.
And it's just become a day and age of analytics.
And I'll say this about Sean Payton.
Sean Payton is the most analytics and information driven coach in the National Football League.
least top five. He takes in the information. He considers everything about scenario, the situation,
and he tries to put his team in the best situation to win the football game. Clearly, he thought
they could execute that and get it done. But the repercussions of that play will haunt him for a
very, very long time. And mind you, Sean Peyton is the king of crazy controversial endings.
Everybody remembers that Ram Saints game where that non-passions.
That's an interference call where he crashed into the receiver when the ball got there.
I mean, this goes to that.
Because to lose this game 10 to 7, your defense battled the entire game, kept you in it.
The other team misses multiple field goals.
Obviously, one of them was 60 plus, but they miss multiple field goals.
You're without your start, especially when you're without your starting quarterback.
You don't have your starting quarterback.
No points are going to be at a premium.
you do not play this game.
And I think he just played the hand too aggressively.
And I'm sure he regrets it.
I mean, why wouldn't he?
That's just an honest conversation.
They had chances in this game, though.
They had chances.
But, you know, eventually he was going to fold.
It was going to be tough for, you know,
win this game against a battle-tested New England Patriots team.
Coach by Mike Ravel, those guys play with a lot of passion,
a lot of chemistry, a lot of energy, and a lot of want to,
a lot of willpower.
Guys are battling.
And I got a lot of respect for what Brable is doing with the New England Patriots.
I mean, again, in his first season, you talk about regret.
What were the Tennessee Titans doing?
Like the Tennessee Titans are right now in probably this decade's Hall of Fame for worst decisions.
I mean, they're up there because trade away A.J. Brown Super Bowl.
Say Mike Brable is not going to be your coach.
Higher Callahan.
get rid of him in the middle of his contract.
Vrable goes on in New England,
takes him to the Super Bowl in his first year.
Guess who was right?
Not Tennessee.
And now I think they made a great decision because I'm biased.
And I think Robert Sala is a fantastic football coach.
But I'm not sure anybody he's going to be able to get enough talent
in Tennessee to get there.
But why would you ever get rid of Vrable?
Like, what in that process where you take away his best player makes sense?
But he's done a fantastic job with this.
team.
Their defense did a great job in this game.
They had three sacks in the interception.
The Broncos, sacked drag me five times.
He's been sacked what in these playoffs.
I think it was he 10 times before.
So 15 times.
I think he's sacked at least five times in each and every game.
So expect the Seattle Seahawks to be able to get home against this team.
Wait, no, vice versa, vice versa.
The Patriots, yeah.
Yeah, the Broncos defense have five sacks.
The Patriots tried to run the ball and control the clock.
They did a great job of it.
Remindre Stevenson, 25 carries, only 71 yards, but they stuck to it.
Not a lot of teams stick to the run game anymore, and that's what the New England Patriots did.
Drake May only completed 10 passes in this game for 86 yards, ran the ball 65 times, I mean, ran the ball for 65 yards in the go-ahead first down, had him a rushing touchdown in the game, and that was the difference in the game.
His legs were the difference in this ball game.
think that at the end of the day, you're going to have a tough time with the Seattle Seahawks defense.
I think on both sides of the football, the Seattle Seahawks are better. But it's the Super Bowl.
And they're going to be well coached. They're going to have two weeks to prepare.
They're going to have all the information, everything they need to come up with a great game plan.
But I think if you're just looking at it on paper, if you look at the initial spread, I would think
that the Seattle Seahawks are favored. But you got to correct me if I'm wrong.
Well, we'll have plenty of time to dive into that, Richard. It's so impressive.
to see Drake May in the second year of his career, you know, coming out,
fighting through the adversity with the snow.
In that second half, it was not a game that you wanted to be a quarterback.
And fortunately for him, he's got the legs he can lean on to get this done.
This play ultimately comes down, this game ultimately comes down to two different decisions.
One being the fourth and one, go for it.
And the other being the call of Jarrett Stiddam's pass, ultimately calling it a fumble.
Richard, your thoughts on that because as a play developed, it looked like it was a forward pass.
It looked like it should have just been intentional grounding.
Did you think that was truly a fumble on that push pass from Jared Stidham?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't want to.
That's a tough call.
That's a tough call.
That's one that could have went either way.
Was it intentional grounding?
Maybe.
But again, you need.
knew that a backup quarterback was going to make a mistake.
Also at the interception to Christian Gonzalez late in that game, and there were a number
of plays that kind of got away from him.
But he played about as good as you could expect a backup quarterback to play, if I'm
being honest.
You shouldn't be expecting all-world play from the backup quarterback who hasn't played,
who hasn't started a game and thrown a pass, I think, since 2023.
I mean, what could we expect?
He was 17 to 31, 133 yards, touchdown.
interception and that fumble that could have not been a fumble. But huge game.
But I don't know. I get tired of talking about these controversial plays. I know I know
everybody's going to be talking about it all week. No question about it. But I want to talk
about the Super Bowl matchup because the Patriots won. 10 to 7, the Broncos defense. I felt like
played well enough to get a win. They didn't get enough from the quarterback spot. They didn't
get enough from their offense. Obviously, unfortunately, that's how it goes. Usually defense,
wins championships, but again, you got to get something from your quarterback.
It's the same thing with the Houston Texans.
Like, they battle with their butt off, but the quarterback turns the ball over four or five times,
it's going to be difficult to win that game.
Has I played on a great defense where the quarterback turned the ball over four times
and we won a Super Bowl, I mean, won the NFC championship?
Yes, no question about that.
But, you know, not every defense built like that.
But this is going to be a great chess match in this game.
I cannot wait to see the things that Kubiak built.
draws up and builds into this offense to get Jackson Smith and Jigba open.
Obviously, they're going to either put Christian Gonzalez.
I think they put Christian Gonzalez on him.
I think they put Carlton Davis on Rashid Shaheed as to match up because they do like to match up.
I'm sure Marcus Jones will factor in there somewhere.
But I don't think, I think Jackson Smith and Jigba is going to be on the move the entire game.
I don't think they're going to ever have him, have him stagnant in this game.
I don't think he's ever going to just be in one place when the play starts.
I think that's going to be the key to this game, moving him around.
And also K-9, K-9, how explosive he is.
If he finds a lane in this game, you know it's a home run ball.
So I can't wait to dive into this tape, really see how these teams were able to manipulate one another to get these wins.
But if you just look at the year we won the Super Bowl, like Sam Donald is playing.
at a high enough level to win a Super Bowl.
If your defense plays like it needs to,
there should be no expectation for them not to go in this game
and win going away, not even win and have it be close.
I mean, it's going to be close because this team got a lot of pride.
They got a lot of talent.
It's a reason they're in the Super Bowl as well.
But I just can't see a world.
And I don't want to jinx it.
Nah, it's going to be a battle.
Let's just say it.
I don't want to jinx nothing.
It's going to be a dog fight.
It's going to be a battle, all the right things.
I'm with you, Richard.
I love the Seahawks in this matchup as well.
We're going to have a lot of time to talk about this game.
I'm sure we'll have guests leading up to the Super Bowl.
Richard, it's always a pleasure.
Before we sign off, Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl.
You've got to be absolutely fired up.
We appreciate all you guys for joining us all season long.
This is going to be an epic road to the Super Bowl.
We can't wait to bring you guys in along the way of these next couple weeks.
Richard, I will let you sign us off, my friend.
Thank you, as always, for, as always, for,
joining us all season long. The Seattle Seahawks are back in the Super Bowl. I know you love to see it.
If you don't love to see it, I'm sorry for you. We'll get them next year. But the Seattle Seahawks
may be on their way to their second Super Bowl. And I will be there in the stands, cheering them on,
hoping we get our revenge from that 2014 Super Bowl. Oh my God. Oh, we got to exercise those demons.
But my goodness, if you look at the AFC side outside of the Cincinnati Bengals,
there's nobody that goes to the Super Bowl from the AFC unless you're the Kansas City Chiefs
are the New England Patriots in 2016, New England, in 2017, New England, 2018, New England.
In 2020, Kansas City.
2021, Cincinnati.
Nice, Cincinnati.
20222, Kansas City.
2023, Kansas City.
2024, Kansas City.
Guess who 25 is, Mitchell?
The New England Patriots.
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
that short stint and purgatory that did not last very long.
Richard,
it must be nice to be a New England Patriots fan.
I would love to know how it feels being up here in Detroit.
Please bring us some of your luck next year.
Please, that's what I beg.
Well, you guys had a chance, Mitchell, you know, luck, look.
We're not going to talk about that, but as always.
We'll catch them on the podcast in the off season for that talk, man.
The off season, yeah, we'll deal with that pain.
But thank you, as always, for joining us.
This has been a beautiful, fantastic entertainment.
national football league season. The Seattle Seahawks are returning to the Super Bowl to play
the New England Patriots and hopefully beat the New England Patriots. We will see you next time
for the Super Bowl preview and all of the interviews that we have between because there's two
