This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey, Jonas, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Winning on Clay is an art.
The rallies are relentless.
And at the French Open, only the toughest survive.
I'd know.
I competed there for decades.
Join me, Renee Stubbs, on the Renee Stubbs' tennis podcast for no-nonsense breakdowns of
the biggest matches, the toughest players, and the moments that define Roland Garris.
She can win.
She's an outsider to win the French fame.
And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lina Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now.
And I actually can win on any service.
Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcasts on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports.
Last night, a blown call changed a game.
This morning, the internet lost its mind, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened.
That's where Sports Slice comes in.
I'm Timbo, and every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports
and giving you the real story behind the headline.
And we're going straight to the source.
the athletes themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment,
and the stuff nobody gets to hear.
Listen to SportsSlice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
And for more, follow Timbo Slicalife-Life 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok.
Because I'm just in the point in my career where I just want to win.
I just want to win.
And so I'm not going to put my ego and everything in front of things.
And I know it is a business, but I think I'm just wired a little differently.
I don't know.
I just want to win.
I feel good.
I'm shooting the ball well.
I'm mentally in a great spot.
We, the fever signed,
kind of have like a new roster.
And so we have Monique Billings,
who she is a very strong physical athletic fore.
Rim runner can grab every freaking offensive board can dunk.
So like, we'll take that.
Let's go.
We find Maisha Allen,
or Maisha Heinz Allen,
also a very physical, great player.
more of a post player four or five.
And then honestly, we got some kind of good rookies.
Like, it's exciting.
I know a big name was Raven Johnson.
She was with South Carolina.
And Raven Johnson is a freaking dog.
We had our first day of training camp, and I just, like, love her.
Like, I think she's going to be fantastic.
Great defensive player.
How's our girl, Caitlin, look?
Good.
You know, she played in, like, the USA stuff and whatnot.
So she's like, she's been healthy.
and everyone's healthy right now.
So, who, first day.
We made it through the first day.
We are not in Indianapolis.
Oh, you are, actually.
You are in India.
This is the most people have ever seen the inside of where you live.
Well, I know.
I just, do you see all the boxes I haven't unpacked yet?
That's probably one.
Hmm.
There's hard, though.
Yeah.
I just moved in.
Wait, is this, this is a new apartment?
Yeah.
Nice.
Way more secure.
I have bought everywhere and I'm slowly starting to put stuff away.
So I'm getting rid of a bunch of stuff too.
I'm trying to de-quart.
That's good.
Getting rid of stuff is always.
It's hard, but it's needed.
You know, I don't think it's that hard.
I like to get rid of all my stuff.
I know it sounds crazy.
West, are you actually doing better, though, you think?
I have been better.
Um,
a lot has happened in a very, very short amount.
of time obviously and yeah trying to take it a day at a time and stay off my phone but the internet is
a very scary place to be a manda's taking like a big brunt of all of this too which i just wish
uh if people had shit to talk they could deliver it to me um like for example yeah her number got leaked
I don't know how that happened and someone messaged her and called her a homewrecking whore,
which I found to be obviously inappropriate.
Can't talk like that to people, but it's also not true.
I feel like once you guys can kind of like speak your truth of like the actual timeline,
I feel like a lot of false narratives out right now and like you can just about everything,
it's made it more messy, but it's not all of it is true.
Yeah, that's actually one thing I would like to be very clear about.
There was no overlap.
Like I know there's a thousand different theories on the internet right now,
but that is one thing that for sure did not happen.
Everyone was single, like I said earlier.
Yeah.
So then we realized things are maybe a little bit serious in February,
and that's when this all started,
and there's not a whole lot more to it than that.
One question.
Have you, like, talk to any other, like, castmates?
Or is it just kind of like everyone's doing their own thing right now?
Yeah, I've sent some texts,
haven't gotten responses from everybody yet, which is to be expected.
And I get it.
But that's the hardest part, I think, with this whole situation is, you know, my actions
have hurt people that I care about.
But the reunion's coming up and I can give those apologies face to face and also
clear up all of the crazy shit that's been on the internet.
Okay, well, that's fine.
Do you have your fit and everything picked out?
Dude, no.
I like, got, I like need to get on that.
I worried too much about the Royals this weekend.
You guys win?
No, dude.
They're so fucking bad right now.
It actually sucks ass.
They are like, they are such a good roster and they are playing miserable.
Like, it's becoming in the season, like the game we were at yesterday, like Popfly,
two dudes ran into each other, dropped it.
Like, it's like one of those.
And then next that bat, like, home run.
It's just crazy.
It's early in the season.
and people don't really want their rhythm and maybe their chemistry.
It's early, but they're like, it's, they're already like dug themselves a monster hole that I don't see them getting out of.
What are they, where are they ranked down low, low, bottom?
Last tied for worst record in the MLB right now. I don't think they'll finish that way, but like, I couldn't, like, they don't look like they're having fun.
Wait, does the MLB also do like a lottery pick?
You know, I don't think, Kev, do you know how the.
MLB draft works. I don't think it's lottery or is it?
Only picks one through six are determined by the lottery.
After that, picks seven through 18 or ordered by regular season record.
Yeah, MLB is so weird because you get drafted and then they go play minding baseball
for like five years. So it's weird. I mean, so you kind of get the lottery pick in
some way. That's kind of funny. Like get your mind off.
Maybe go back to sports, be outside. It looked like a nice.
No. Yeah, going outside and remembering everything is normal.
like very helpful for mental health purposes.
Did you guys get stopped a lot or do you guys like have security or how did that work?
No security, but I mean, Yankee Stadium if you ever get the chance, it's like, do you take
the train up to the Bronx and it's just like this jungle of like stadium, trains, bars?
Like it's really, really fun.
And so you just meet up with all your friends and then head in and have like a great day.
All right, quick time out.
Today's show is brought to you by our presenting sponsor Hard Rock Bet, the official sportsbook
partner of the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic.
listen, the hardwood is heating up right now. Playoff push is in full swing. Every game's got a
little extra juice, and it's the perfect time to get in on the action. What I've been doing
is building out same game parlays. You pick your spots. Maybe your guy goes for 30, your big
grabs a double double, your point guard racks up assists, stack it all together and see what
happens. And if you miss tip off, it's not a big deal. Hard Rock bet lets you live bet all game
long, so you can jump in whenever you see something you like, from the first bucket to the final
buzzer. And if you haven't signed up yet, now's a great time to do it. New users can
double their winnings on their first 10 bets, up to 50 bucks.
So if you're about to win $100, now you're looking at $200.
That's a nice little boost.
So don't just watch the game, get in the mix.
Download the full Hard Rock Bet app today, and let's have some fun.
To switch from MLB to the WNBA, this might be a very heavy WNBA podcast.
There's a lot that's been going on.
The fever re-signed our good close personal friend, Sophie Cunningham, to a one-year contract.
It was close.
It was close.
Can I be nosy right off the jump?
Given the changes in structure and money and all of that over the last few weeks,
like, was the contract better than you thought it would?
Nope.
Okay. Sorry.
Nope.
It's okay.
I think, um, no, it's fine because it's tough because I came off an injury and like, I haven't
been in front of any teams.
Like, I had a lot going on in the soft season.
Yeah.
And I was fully cleared.
They had all the doctors.
They all, they had the numbers and everything.
But if you don't get in front of these people, then it's like, hey, like, are you
actually good. And so I'm not even to lie to you. That was like a little kind of frustrating
because I'm someone like I kind of shoot it straight where if I wasn't feeling good or like I was
hesitant, I think I would have said something and like been honest because I'm just in my
the point of my career where I just want to win. I just want to win. And so I'm not going to put
my ego and everything in front of things. And I know it is a business, but I think I'm just wired a little
differently. I don't know. I just want to win. And so it was a little weird, but you know what?
I think this is a great wake-up call to not get comfortable. I think it kind of lit a fire under
my ass even more. I'm coming back from a major, you know, it was NCL. Like I'm totally,
you know what I mean? And so I feel good. I'm shooting the ball well. I'm mentally in a great
spot. We, the fever signed, um, you kind of have like a new roster. And so we have
Monique Billings, who she is a very strong physical athletic four. Rim runner can grab every
freaking offensive board, um, can dunk. So like, we'll take that. Let's go. Yep, we, uh,
find Myisha Allen or Maisha Heinz Allen. Um, also a very physical, great player, uh,
more of a post player four or five. Um, and then honestly, we, um, we're,
We got some kind of good rookies.
Like, it's exciting.
I know a big name was Raven Johnson, she was South Carolina.
And sometimes for me, I'm just not really good at knowing like if people's game
are like if it's going to translate well in the W, you know?
Yeah.
I think that's fascinating for all sports.
Like some people are better in college.
Some people are better professionally.
And like you just don't know when, and I don't know if it's when you peak athletically.
or as much as it is just like being in different systems and
opportunity.
Yeah, I just like sometimes works better in college and sometimes works better
professionally for people.
It's like it's a very fascinating like kind of transition layer to sports.
Yes. Yes. And some people you get the green light right away and you just get to
go and do your thing.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, I'm going to draw. And so it took me like three or four years. You know what I mean?
So like it tests your character, your
perseverance, test everything.
Sport test everything.
But Graven Johnson is a freaking dog.
We had our first day of training camp, and I just love her.
Like, I think she's going to be fantastic, great defensive player,
just a really sweet girl and a great teammate so far.
So, like, I'm a big, big fan, big fan.
When a rookie comes in, do you like when a rookie is outspoken and,
like a vocal leader, or do you kind of want that to be earned?
I just want people to be themselves.
So I think when you come into a new team, especially like, you know, the jump from high school to college is completely different.
College to approach is also completely different.
So as a rookie, depending on like kind of who you are and what you bring to the table, it's best to be a sponge.
But like if you're vocal, still be vocal, you know, but also I think it's best also to like stay in your lane.
Like, do what you do best.
And if that's like defense and freaking assist, then go all in on that.
that. You know what I mean? Like, don't be anything that you're not. And it's nerd-wracking as a rookie.
Training camp is nerve-wracking. And our rookies have done really well. And so I think we have
kind of like a unique group. But today was like actually very surprising. Like we just, it's gonna be
good. Like in a positive way. Yeah. Like it's just like. Fuck yeah. Yeah. Like I want I want to
guess putting the people we put together like it's gonna we're gonna be fast. We're gonna be
to shoot the ball, like, we're going to be able to defend.
Like, it's, it's going to be good.
How's our girl, Caitlin, look?
Good. Good. You know, she played in like the USA stuff and whatnot.
So she's like, that's been healthy and everyone's healthy right now.
So, who, first day. We made it through the first day.
Congrats.
How's your body feel? I know you said you feel healthy, but like, how do you feel now?
I do. I think, um, there's a difference between
like training and playing pickup and doing all that stuff.
But then when you actually have to like go play and it has to be like intentional movements,
it's different.
But honestly, I'm 29 and truly I really do feel better than I ever have.
So.
Good.
I know.
I think that's weird, isn't it?
I mean, not if you're doing all the right things.
I think sleeping well.
You did tell me also, you did say Indy is a great place to be if you want to focus on basketball.
You got to dial in.
That's awesome.
Good.
God, we haven't done a, we haven't done a webcam recording in, in years, because we've been in person.
Well, I actually are in persons.
I think a lot of people did do.
I'm curious if I'm allowed to ask you about the page, Becker's and how, like, Twitter's up in arms about it, how they asked about the relationship.
And then they shut the questions down.
Yeah.
about how they drafted like her girlfriend.
It's fascinating to me.
I don't think there's like a right or wrong thing,
but I do think it makes it a bigger deal to like...
Shut it down.
Shut the questions down instead of just letting her be like,
yeah, like I'm so fortunate to be in this position.
Yeah.
We've played basketball together before, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I think also she's so good at it.
She is very PR trained.
Like she knows how to answer it.
She knows how to bring it back to what's important
and give them the main thing, the main thing,
which is basketball.
They are great teammates. They were great teammates. They're going to be great teammates. And so I think it honestly did make it worse if they shut it down, in my opinion. And at the end of the day, like, sports is sports. You know what I mean? Like it's everything is in the public. Like, you know, with reality TV, everything is out in the public. So I think it's like any question is fair game. And you just kind of have to prepare yourself. And so I think we're grown adults and you have to be able to, you know, kind of buck up and answer the grown adult questions.
It also makes them look like it's like a weirder look for them and it wasn't even her decision to not answer it.
It was like the team shut it down before she could.
And then it makes it's just it's weird.
But it's like a new you don't get to see that every day in sports.
Like someone getting drafted to play with their significant other.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
I don't know the situation.
But I did see that.
I'm just like just like there's a way to answer it and you can control like how you want to take it.
You know what I mean?
All right.
I'm just going to say it. I've been glued to my J-Lab headphones lately.
Flights, workouts, quick coffee runs. They've basically been on me 24-7.
Dude, in the wild part, the battery just keeps going. I honestly don't remember the last time I charged mine.
It's been that long.
And the sound holds up too. Super clean. It gets loud when you want it to and doesn't get all distorted on you.
I've been rocking the over ear pair on flights and it's a total upgrade.
Noise cancelling is clutch. They're comfortable the whole time.
Whether I'm in the gym on a plane or just out walking around with music on, they've got something that fits whatever vibe I'm on.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a podcast.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis,
and I know firsthand because I competed there myself.

Can we please talk about freaking Coachella?
Bebs?
Oh my gosh.
I just love him.
Love him.
I do, too.
I'm a pretty big Bebs guy.
I think that would have been a fun little set to see.
Dude, he is just like every time he is live, he just like shuts down the whole world, I feel like.
Like, I just love him.
I think it's so fun.
artists do old songs that like they were a different person at that time and so was everyone
who loved the music at a different time and so like he was playing all those songs from his
albums from when he was like a little kid and everyone was singing him together while he like
sat up there and like i thought that was so cool that probably the inner child from so many like
girls from when they were in like sixth and seventh grade probably were just over the
the fucking moon. Me too.
Yeah, I'm just trying.
Yeah. Most two. One.
So, West, you mentioned all those girls who were fans of their children, Billy Elish,
who grew up a huge Bieber fan. He brought her on stage for one of those old old tracks
one last, only girl.
I saw that. That's awesome.
Yeah. What? I will say with Coachella, I am not, we've talked about this.
I'm not, it's weird how much I love sporting events in a crowded stadium, but I don't
necessarily love concerts I don't crave a concert oh pause I'm so uh I don't even
know if I'm allowed to say this um Luke Holmes played in Indiana and I was
supposed to be the one to go and do a beer beer chug with him on stage what happened
training camp it was last night in training camp our first official day was today and so I
I thought the season was going to get pushed back.
Well, like, a month ago, I said yes to it.
And I had to cancel on Luke.
I hate that for both of you.
Oh, it, like, breaks my heart.
That would have been so sick.
That's actually the coolest thing you could ever do.
You know what I think is super sick when Morgan Wallen does the tunnel walk out.
I know.
I know.
And then someone comes into frame.
And it's either like an old sports player from that city or, like, fucking,
I think he brought out Drake in Toronto.
Good, he plays here May 8th.
But you know damn well, I'm gonna try to get front road tickets.
See if you can chug a beer with him.
You know, dude, that's not his tradition.
What does he do with, oh, do the tunnel?
Wait, he, wait, he needs to bring out fucking you guys through the tunnel.
All of us, all the feed.
You, Cici, and whoever else is in town.
Yeah. I think you know if they bring out a beer player who they're gonna pick.
And it's not me.
Damn it.
Cici and, uh,
Jonathan Taylor would be fun.
Tyrese.
That would be, actually, that would be so sick.
But like, are they truly the type of fans that I am when it comes to that?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I think it's such a, like, when he did Arrowhead, it was,
it was Travis Kelsey, Patrick Mahomes, and Chris Jones.
Oh, badass.
It was so good.
So tight.
We've been to, I know you're not a big country music artist fan, but have you been to one of his concerts?
No.
It's actually so fun.
So also, it's been the,
So long we've been doing, we did the Marriott podcast, we didn't like get to talk anything to in the weeds, like actual WNBA.
Because we were talking more college basketball.
A little W&B movement since we've last shouted.
Angel Reese left Chicago. She's going to Atlanta.
They're looking good. Atlanta's looking tough. Very tough.
Really? That's a good move.
Who scares you the most in the W?
Angel going down there just adds another layer to Atlanta and they're already very very, very
very, very good. And so they're looking great. New York got saw too. And I'm not kidding,
their roster on average is like, I'd say like six, two and a half, six three. That's insane.
Like they're all freaking huge. Dallas is actually looking really good. L.A. is looking good.
Chicago, Rickia Jackson actually would do Chicago. And so, and so did Skylar Diggins.
They got someone else to, oh, Azrae Stevens, and there's someone else who went to,
oh, Dijunay Carrington.
So Chicago's looking tough.
Minnesota will continue to look good.
Toronto, the new team, the expansion team is looking at, literally.
Right, right, right, right, right.
Everyone's solid.
Or the majority, I would say, is solid.
So it's going to be interesting.
Oh, Vegas, yeah, Vegas has continued to do that.
But I think that the key ones would be Angel.
to Atlanta. Dallas really stacked their roster and looked pretty freaking good.
To Chicago was huge and then, you know, Sato to New York is that just makes them even bigger and better.
Did you guys lose anyone that you're like bummed about?
You know what? I just truly really loved our team last year.
And we just, it's not because we went through so much, but when we were all like healthy in the beginning, it was so fun.
Like, it was just a fun team and everyone got along.
It was good.
Definitely going to miss Tosh.
She went up to Minnesota.
But I really, I think I'm going to miss Cid.
Sid was such a good locker room presence.
And then when she got in the game, she was just so solid.
But I think there is something to be said about players who are culture people.
Because I think that is such a huge thing on winning teams that maybe a lot of coaches or front offices don't really, you know, put their money in.
they should.
So I'm really going to miss it.
She's just a funny freaking human too.
It is sad that like I guess because we are just watching tournament games.
It's crazy that you have a team and then one day you just never know,
you'll never have that exact team again.
And teams have so much love in chemistry.
Here's the thing about the new CBA is like it is so great because we're all getting paid
a lot more.
There's a lot more benefits.
But it's like the teams that are in rebuilding years,
they're probably more in advantage because it's.
they have all this money and now they're just trying to fit the pieces.
We're teams that were already good with a whole bunch of great players.
Now they're trying to figure out the money situation trying to keep those players.
You know what I mean?
And so it's interesting.
I mean, college coaches have to do that now too, which is fucking crazy.
Totally innocent.
Did you see Sue Byrd and Megan broke up?
Exactly.
That's drawn.
I mean, sort of.
I've just only known.
known them like together. Yeah. What else do we have?
We can pop into some headlines. The new season of Euphoria, season three is here.
It dropped to amid some backlash. Some people are saying it's a little maybe too sexy or too raunchy.
People have been complaining about Euphoria being too risque since it started. Like the show has boobs in it and it's like about people's sex lives. Like I, people kind of got to get over it at this point.
I am surprised though Sidney. Yeah. I do.
I do.
Of course.
Yeah.
I like it.
And today is like so good.
Well,
yeah,
but I think I try to watch it
on a plane one time.
And like,
it's not,
I don't think you could get by with that.
Yeah,
it's not the type of show
to watch when other people are around.
It's like hard drugs and naked people.
Yeah.
And I got found that real fast
and I felt so awkward.
So I haven't watched it since
about like,
like seven years ago.
They're not in high school anymore,
though.
Well,
I honestly don't,
I don't watch you for you for it.
But I just know they have like Zendaya, they have Sydney and they have Jacob, which are some big, huge names in the whole
huge movie and TV.
Yeah, I like, I really like that they still go back to it.
Yeah, like I think movie stars could so easily just stick to doing movies.
I think it's cool when they like kind of hang on to like shows that they've been a part of, you know?
Yeah.
I think it, I think that part's awesome.
All right, I got to put you guys on to something super cool.
because this is exactly the kind of show that I'm going to casually watch.
And then suddenly it's 2 a.m. and I'm like super locked in.
Dude, you're not casually watching anything or ever?
The Royals baseball.
I am now.
It's a little bit true.
But this one especially, season two of Running Point drops on Netflix April 23rd.
And it is binge-worthy, I must say.
It is. I watched season one and it was actually really good.
And I do like it because I feel like you don't really need to.
to be into sports because there's like no much drama and it's about like the front office.
It's about like these females trying to like get these guys to, you know, have a team.
And so it really is a good one. It's an easy watch.
Yeah, it's like sports adjacent and chaotic and good. And it's from Mindy Kaling. So you already
know it's going to be funny, but still smart. And Kate Hudson is the lead and she plays
Ila Gordon. Dude, I really love seeing her back in action. You guys need to watch it. It's really
good. But she's running pro-basket team that also happens to be her family's business. So it's
like a tough setup from the jump, but she has to figure it out and like weed out the bad and
bring in the good. Yeah, that's a difficult situation. I know. She's in that position where people
don't really trust her quite yet. So she's constantly trying to prove that she actually deserves
a big role. So like being in sports but being on top. Yeah. Oh. No, that's a very, yeah,
that's a very real thing. Yeah. It is real, but you know, you don't just get a handed credibility.
you have to earn it every day.
And people are waiting for you to always mess up,
and we both know.
I know.
But it's one of those shows you probably will throw on casually
and then be super locked in without even trying.
So guys, please go watch it.
Season 2 of Running Point, April 23rd on Netflix,
and I promise you that you'll think we'll make it.
Add your list.
Easy walks, really good.
Yeah, bring some poverty today.
And when you finish it all in one night,
I'm the one who said, I told you so.
From executive producer Mindy Kaling
and starring Kate Hudson in an all-star ensemble,
the hilarious basketball comedy series
Running Point, returns to Netflix
for an all-new season on April 23rd.
This season, Ila Gordon is no longer
the surprise choice to lead the Los Angeles' ways.
She's the one everyone's watching.
With the team finally rebounding
after last year's scandal,
Ila is determined to prove she's not just keeping
the seat warm for her brother, Cam.
What she doesn't know is that he is quietly maneuvering
behind the scenes to take his job back
as she tries to balance the pressure of running a modern
sports empire, every decision on and off the court counts.
To survive the family power plays and the board scrutiny, she'll have to rip up last year's
game plan and come up with a whole new playbook if she wants to close out this season on top.
Season two raises the stakes, deepens the family drama and finds even more comedy in what it
takes to win in the high pressure world of pro basketball.
Okay, so this is actually kind of our world, though, a little drama, pressure, egos,
family dynamics. Yeah, and also proving you belong when people don't think you should be there.
That part is very real.
And it's not just for hardcore sports fans either.
It's funny, edgy, and honestly super relatable.
You've got ambition, family drama, people plotting behind the scenes.
It's got everything.
Plus K Hudson running a basketball franchise, say less.
Watch Running Point Season 2, only on Netflix, April 23rd.
Are you doing anything right now non-basketball related or are you just all in?
Well, I've just finished.
I did this taping with Quest, and it's called The Grand Try, and we brought in the U.S.
Rugby athletes.
I think we talked about this a little bit.
But the final episode just dropped and it shows the winner.
So I'm going to shout out Karina.
She's the one who won on both the Mint and Women's of USA Rugby with Quest.
Nice.
Yeah, it was super fun.
And we haven't talked about this yet, but actually was in Sports Illustrated.
So that's kind of fun.
Wait, is that like out or like, because that hit the streets?
You haven't been on top.
Oh my God.
But one of my photos is out.
But actually, this is crazy.
How did they turn out?
Do you like them?
Are you happy?
I am, but I've only seen one.
So the rest of them drop like mid-May.
And then in New York, they have this big launch party.
And I don't think I'll be able to make it because of season.
But we might be off that day.
So if I do, I'm doing a quick New York church in and out.
Yeah, it really was so fun.
Like the people are, you just feel so empowered.
And something I really do love about is like, they choose like females that
different body sizes, shapes and sizes, um, different ethnicities.
Like they just like empower.
all types of women and it really was like freaking awesome. It was awesome.
Love. I remember you told me the shoot was rainy, right?
And cold. So when you, I think we talked about this a little bit like off camera,
but when you think of Sports Illustrated, you know, you think of like hot girls and sun.
Like it is still hot girls. What? So what? It's still as hot girls. It is.
It is. But I met like with like boobs and nice buds and like, you know.
It's okay. But you also think of like warm weather, you know. And,
I actually shot, I think it was like 32 degree weather down in Florida.
And it was like the hurricanes, there was like a tropical storm.
Like it was like I was out there pretty much in thing.
And everyone else was in like carcass, sweaters, hats, hand warmers, ubs.
And then I'm just walking out there doing my thing.
But it was so cool.
Lindsay went with me too.
We had a blast.
Not the hand warmers just means it was cold.
Because I've said this forever, but you're like, for being a tough girl, you're the biggest pussy when it comes to cold weather.
I'm like a baby.
Oh, I know. Here, I want to show you this. I'm not.
Oh, is this a picture?
Oh, well, it's, well, it's, well, kind of. Hold on.
Let me get it. I was just looking at these.
Because the hand warmers, they just didn't use that for, um, for like my hands. They were using for like my butt sheets or my shoulders for like my chest. Like, it was for,
Crazy.
Oh, my God.
Is that some guy's job?
No, it's a girl's job.
She's awesome.
Or a girl's job?
She's a fucking badass.
Why can I find the...
To make sure people don't have cold butt cheeks?
Oh, dude.
It is a whole real job.
Here it is.
Here's one of them.
Like, you'll see her come around and she's putting...
Oh, you're...
Do you not have a top on?
No.
Wait, you literally found a video of the butt cheek warmer.
What I'm saying?
Oh, incredible.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was, it was fun. It was so fun.
That's, that's awesome.
Did you eat breakfast before?
So, oh my God, that's so funny. You said that.
So Lindsay, the night before, my plane got delayed because of all the weather and stuff.
And I told her that I needed food.
And so she ordered me like a chicken parm.
And when I was eating it, she goes, you know, you probably shouldn't be eating that.
And before you're good, she was like, you know what you're right, but I ate it in.
But afterwards, I got a steak.
I got seafood, I got a friggin burger.
Like, dude.
Yeah.
I don't know what has been going on with me, but I am like, I cannot, I haven't stopped thinking
about cheeseburgers for like three weeks.
I can't, I still can't stop thinking about dumplings.
It's like, yeah.
I like, I, like, went on TikTok and just like looked for like every cheeseburger in New
York and I'm just, I'm just, I'm door-dashing them to my apartment every day.
Oh, that does sound good.
You know how you're kind of go, like,
you know how you're working out and not drinking
and doing that type of thing for a little bit?
Yeah.
I kind of go through where I want to eat super healthy,
and like that's kind of all I'm thinking about of like, you know,
like eat clean.
But lately, in that first of why, can't eat enough.
And I've been like craving like burgers,
the dumplings, like everything.
Like, like not probably the best.
Asian food in the fridge,
the morning after.
Like, I think cold noodles are so good.
Do you like cold pizza?
Yeah, I'm not, I like all things cold.
Like, I'd probably, I don't think I microwave much unless it's like a soup or something.
Yeah, I'm right there with you.
I think people are like, ooh, cold, but I'm like, dude, it's so good.
But I should be after.
Yeah.
I'm same page.
That might, that might do it.
