And if you are an outdoorsman, it is like perfect for hunting, fishing. I brought it golfing. You're too much of a coward to bring it golfing because you say that it gets so loud.

Shout out to our guy with the $10 super chat. Josh Rumsey. Let's go. That's right, dude. Let's go indeed. Like Aaron said, This is a big one, okay? Not the most volumetric slate of college football, but some incredibly high highs. I mean, you're going to be treated to Sanford Stadium at its absolute best. Like the premier between the hedges will never get better than what you witness on Saturday.
Starting point is 00:05:51 And quite honestly, Aaron, for the first time in probably a couple of years, you're going to see Death Valley at its absolute best. It has been a long time since we've been there. But first, we're going to start back in our favorite conference, the Big 12. And this is a game that actually involves. You'll see it on best bets tomorrow. The snaps fast and furious family ride or die pink slit bet of the week. We're talking about Texas at number 13 Kansas State.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Aaron, do you trust Texas? Who are the favorites in this game to get this win in Kansas State? Little Manhattan. Yeah, Little Manhattan's going to be popping off for this game. Listen, the last time we saw Texas, it was on the road there versus Oklahoma State. And I do remind everyone that Oklahoma State was the worst passing defense in the Big 12, which says something because that's a league that throws the ball a lot. So if you're the worst, that means you must be giving up a shitload of yardage through the air, which they would say have all season. It was a major weakness, which gave me confidence that Texas was going to be able to win that football game.
Starting point is 00:06:54 But then, you know, I was thinking watching that game, like, why is you were struggling? like what the hell is going on it was his first road a game and you saw a kid that just was not confident was not handling the elements well was was not willing to take a hit to stand in there balls are going high wasn't falling through just not the confident cool collected possible top five picking the NFL drafting a year or two from now that that we've seen for the beginning part of this season so he's had two weeks to kind of figure things out they're on the road again but just I just can't get out of my mind 19 of 49 and three interceptions. Against a Kansas State team that I think is really darn good.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I am interested to see Kansas statewide, like, who's their quarterback going to be? You know, they've had two quarterbacks play really well this year. Adrian Martinez has played obviously fantastic to start the season off. He got banged up a few weeks ago. In comes Will Howard. I think Will has been just phenomenal to watch, especially throwing the football. So very different quarterbacks, Adrian wants to run it, Will wants to throw it, this is a game to me, and I know Adrian was your starter day one,
Starting point is 00:08:01 and I don't like giving up a starting spot because of someone getting hurt, but Texas struggles against the pass, given about 250 yards per game through the air. This is an opportunity for more of your throwing quarterback to go out there at home and have himself a big game against that Longhorn secondary. So I would lean towards Will Howard in this game. I think Kansas State's a better football team right now. now. I just, I need to see what Ewers looks like on the road. Has he mentally made those
Starting point is 00:08:33 improvements during the biweek to come out there and play significantly better than he did versus Oklahoma State. You got to love this, Ryan Brumley, producer of this show. We're all volume employees. And it looks like a spending war has erupted in the chat as Andy Jay to top Josh Rumsey's $10. Let's go. Andy J gives 20. It says Tennessee outspending, Georgia. Already the volunteers. I love how our chat has now become like NIL collectives.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Watching, building up the war chest knowing of future things to come at the end of November. By the way, I mean, that's a topic for another day. But NIL spending is going to explode during this next transfer portal season. I mean, all across the country, there are all kinds of stories about war. chests being assembled. What's up? Devin Blasden says, happy almost Friday. I agree.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Hello from Tucson. What's up? Devin, welcome in. All right. Aaron, you expose something here that is fascinating to me about how this Kansas state team can approach this game and what maybe works out as a big advantage, and that is the two quarterbacks, right? And when you hear Adrian Martinez, or is Will Howard, just in case you'll have it,
Starting point is 00:09:54 like actually look to the numbers because like I know a lot of us are very SEC centric so maybe you have not you're not talking about like it's not just a slight difference between the two right like this is not just oh the other guys a bit more of a thrower instead of a runner this is not Jalen Daniels to being over there at Kansas you are talking about a completely different offense like like just completely different uh Adrian Martinez throws for 129 a game. He threw for four touchdowns on the year. Will Howard, in just 57 attempts in two games,
Starting point is 00:10:33 has done for six touchdowns. Will Howard averages 260 yards a game through the air through the 130 of Adrian Martinez. Then you look at the rushing numbers, and it's the exact opposite. Adrian Martinez averaged 80 yards a game, nine touchdowns on the ground. Will Howard has run the ball seven times.
Starting point is 00:10:54 He runs at an average of seven times for 17 yards, only one score. So like when you are this Texas team, by the way, they're saying that Adrian Martinez's a status of being a little coy. They're saying it's still a bit unknown. We'll have to see how it ends up developing, but they're forcing Texas to prepare for both. And that does stretch Texas a little thin because those are two vastly different game plans. Here's my question, Aaron. If Adrian Martinez is healthy, does he just slot in and play the whole game? or is there a legitimate argument to be made for some sort of,
Starting point is 00:11:29 I know these are dreaded words in college football, the two-cornerback system. I think if Adrian's healthy, you give him, if you want him to start, I think you give him all the confidence in the world, like, hey, you're a guy, you played well to start the season off, and at least see what the first half looks like.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Like, once again, like Texas is a team that you want to hit through the air. So if you're unable to run the ball early, if they're struggling on offense, I would not hesitate to say, hey, man, listen, this is just this game wasn't built for you. Not saying that you're not going to be our quarterback going forward, but this is a big game. We're at home. We have a chance to slay a, you know, a top 25 team. I mean, Texas is still a top 25 team. That's a huge chip in your caps. If you're Kansas State, will Howard may have to come in there in the second half and say, hey, we have to throw the ball if we're going to have to find.
Starting point is 00:12:22 a way to win this football game. So I don't like going in there saying, hey, like, you get a possession, you get a possession. Oh, Will Howard, you're going to be the starter. But Adrian Martinez, you're going to come in there and, you know, third and short situations to be the running quarterback. Like, I think both guys have played so well this year when their numbers have been called that I wouldn't want to put them in that situation where they feel like they have to look over each other's shoulders. But I still think, like, Adrian is your guy. You made in the starting quarterback for a reason. He was playing well before he got hurt. Put him in there. 100% see what he can do.
Starting point is 00:12:54 And if it's a game that calls for passing, you know in the back, you know, in the back, you know, you call in the reliever, you call in Will Howard and see what he can do in the second half. Also, this game's been interesting from a standing standpoint, right? Because this will essentially, I mean, maybe Kansas State could still have a chance. This would eliminate Texas from a potential Big 12 championship. If they win this game, then I'm not, you have a lot of two-loss teams.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I'm not 100% on how the tiebreakers work without sitting here and just getting a little too dense and working it all out. But like Kansas State has a chance to end Texas chance at a Big 12 championship. And how great would that be? Texas, Texas thinks they're such hot shit. They constantly get the benefit of the doubt.
Starting point is 00:13:37 As you said, as we'll talk about again today, if TCU or Texas, they'd be in the top four. They have three losses. They're still in the top 25. They're leaving you for the SEC. Prove to them that they don't even belong in the big Twitter. much less the SEC. And that's the opportunity that Kansas State has this weekend.
Starting point is 00:13:58 And like we said, our boy, Polly Walnuts, who I need to start thinking as well when we leave this show. This is the Snaps Fast and Furious family ride or die pink slept bet of the week. We like a little Kansas State plus two and a half. So if you want to ride or die with the snaps boys, this is the play. Wow. Okay, the spending war is getting out of control. So Andy J's gave 2019.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Got to be careful there. Devils in the details. Tennessee outspending Georgia. Then Rob D. In a classic Price is Right fashion. Let's go, Rob D. 20 dollars even to say, how about them dogs? Dart James, very representative here of the grassroots NIL collectives, gives $10 saying,
Starting point is 00:14:45 go dogs, not today. Andy J. And then says, okay, no more. That's it. And then Andy Jay comes back with 49, 99, once again, tempting someone to drop a 50 bomb. But Andy Jay, uh-huh, trying to make sure that the balls end up on top. And with that super chat, he says, driving 75, Tampa taken on all dogs. Uh, wait, so 70s, is, is he driving up I-75?
Starting point is 00:15:17 Does that run down through Tampa? 75 does run through Tampa. Andy Jay is a little Tampa guy, I guess. Oh, driving on Tampa taking on all dogs. All right. Let's go. Where the tigers were the Crimson Tide at?
Starting point is 00:15:32 You know, it's just like a dog versus Tennessee moral combat going on right now. Have you ever seen a Louisiana economic ranking in your life, Aaron Murray? We are literally lasting everything. I mean everything. Education, health care, economic opportunity.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I live in a dying state. But hey, we got good food and we like to party. I mean, like, yeah, kind of is what it is at the end of the day. Evan Thompson, $10 pining for the balls, GBO. What is that, Go Big Orange? I actually don't know. Yeah. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:09 GBO indeed. You know me, Rocky Bob, Tennessee. I'm a TFL. I know you say VFL, but as TBob, I'm a TFL. or you can call me VBob. Very excited for this week. We'll get there. Next on the top five games of the list,
Starting point is 00:16:23 we got another, I mean, bro, the Big 12. The reason why they constantly end up on this list is because, like I'm saying, everybody is competitive relative to one another. And next up on this list, we have Texas Tech and TCU. And you already know, after Max Duggan saved my ass
Starting point is 00:16:40 to get me to 3 in 0 last week, with a needless, fourth and one bomb to win the game by 10 in cover, I will never not ride Max Duggan and TCU again, especially, Aaron, with what you laid out on yesterday's show, which is how badly they are getting screwed over by the playoff committee. And that if they were Texas or Oklahoma,
Starting point is 00:17:02 they'd already be in the top four. I want TCU to force the committee to make these tough decisions, to force them to deal with an undefeated Tennessee, or excuse me, an undefeated TCU. And outside of that, like, I think Texas Tech has cooled a bit. I think Texas Tech is okay. I don't think they're TCU.
Starting point is 00:17:22 No, no, no, no. And listen, if you want to hear our breakdown of, you know, where TCU deserves to be, make sure you go back and listen to yesterday's show. But yeah, like, to me, if I'm in that locker room right now, I'm saying, like, what more can we do? And if I'm the coaching staff, I'm saying, guys, just keep doing what you're supposed to do. Like, at the end of the day, if you are undefeated, you will get the respect to the committee, you'll get the respect to the nation,
Starting point is 00:17:44 and you will be in the playoffs. Like don't focus on the outside nose. Yeah, if you want to use it to motivate yourself, go ahead and do it. That's fine. Whatever motivation you need, you harness that in there and you go out there and dominate. So, yes, I think you're going to get a very motivated Horn Frogs football team, a team that is and was disrespected this week by the college football committee. And the team that's playing at extremely high level right now. Like Max Duggan, we can't talk enough good things about him.
Starting point is 00:18:11 You know, Johnson, the receiving position has been absolutely electric. And Texas Tech has some issues. Like they are, it's crazy. Like one week they look good. Two weeks they look like crap. One week they look good. Three weeks they look like crap. Like it just there hasn't really been any sort of consistency for Texas Tech.
Starting point is 00:18:29 They had the big win versus Texas. I get that, but that was against Texas and they're back and quarterback. So I, you know, I don't know if that would have been a win for the Red Raiders if yours was healthy in that football game. So there's a couple things. One, Texas Tech, I talk about how up and down they've been. A lot has been because of turnovers. They are the worst team in the Big 12 when it comes to turnovers, giving the ball up. And what does TCU do so well?
Starting point is 00:18:53 And the reason why they win so many close football games is because they take care of the football. Only six turnovers for TCU. So they run it well. I think they play pretty well, very, very well, one of the best offenses in that league on offense. They play good enough on defense. We'll see if they can stop the passing attack for Texas Tech, which I think they can't have nine interceptions this year. So I think big new kickoff.
Starting point is 00:19:17 This is a big moment for TCU, for their fan base. It's going to be a raucous environment there. I think they handle Texas Tech big time. And the points have actually come down. I think it was around 10, the 9.5. I think it's down to 8.5 now. So a lot of money's coming in on Texas Tech to be able to make it a closer game. I just, at home, I just don't see it happening.
Starting point is 00:19:39 I just don't see TCU overlooking the Red Raiders at all. Yeah, I think, I mean, I think you're exactly like at this point, I'm not saying TCU is going to win every game, but I trust them not to get like caught up and like a look ahead spot, right? And they've shown enough fight where if they do get in a sketchy situation, they have been able to maneuver their way out of it. So I agree. The Red Raiders are not the one to trip them up. And I think you hit on the key step.
Starting point is 00:20:09 at which I'm just looking at this now, I did not realize this, but TCU winning the turnover margin by basically a turnover a game. They're at 0.75. That is second in the big 12. Texas Tech losing the turnover margin by basically a turnover per game at minus 0.88. You're not going to get an upset when that is the case. Okay. So I, yeah, I think we both really like TCU and Max Duggan here. And again, I just want them to continue to win to put the committee in a tough spot and force them to respect TCU. What a job by Sunny Dykes as well, right? Like late in the career, you rarely have these kind of moments where all of a sudden you exceed. Like he's been at this forever.
Starting point is 00:20:57 And now here he randomly finds himself at the top of college football when I'm sure there were many nights at Lotech and everywhere else. Or Sunny Dikes did not think that he would one day end up back here. I mean, I've actually, I've always been a TCU doubter until this year. So it's excited. But never again, Max, not after you came through for us last week. The number three, game of the week, Air, Murray. Now we're getting to some big brands, okay? Maybe not the best game.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Though the spread is pretty close, almost shockingly close here. But now we're getting to some big brands as we got Clemson going to South Bend to take on Polly Walnuts, Notre same fighting Irish. Last night on our show here locally, Matt Musco to the afternoon guy in Badd Ruse called this his mortal lock of the century in terms of Clemson covering that three and a half. I know that you like this as well.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Aaron, give me some early thoughts on the Tigers and the Irish. Yeah, I was completely shocked when I saw this early in the week. And I had to jump on it myself. And a little teaser may be one of my top three locks of the week for tomorrow. tomorrow's betting show. So make sure you you tune on to that to see our bets. But I think there's a couple of things that you have to look at for this football game right now.
Starting point is 00:22:16 And I get that you and I have just been bashing Clemson and bashing the fact that they don't deserve to be the number four team in the country. But they're still a really good football team. And they are a very good defense. And you look at Notre Dame right now. And yes, we've seen improvements and we've seen improvements on offense. We've seen the running game get going a little bit these past couple weeks. But you're going against one of the best.
Starting point is 00:22:37 rushing defenses in America. A defense is giving up less than 90 yards per game on the ground. So I love, I love this front seven for Clemson. It is, it is stout. It is scary. They're not afraid to go on the road. And I think they're going to put, they're going to make Notre Dame one dimensional. They're going to say, hey, Notre Dame, you're going to have to throw the football
Starting point is 00:22:57 in order to have success in this football game. And yes, that is, that is given Clemson's struggles at times this season. But Notre Dame is not the passing offense that is going to scare anyone. So I think defensively they dominate. I think they just whoop up Notre Dame, you know, throughout this football game. And, and, you know, I know DJU was benched, didn't obviously have his best performance for Syracuse. But I think overall this year, we can all kind of agree. Like, he has played well.
Starting point is 00:23:24 And he's especially played well on the road. Three touchdowns versus Florida State on the road. Five touchdowns in that epic game versus Wake Forest on the road. Like there's a lot of pressure for him. There's a lot of pressure for DJU heading into the season. The Clemson fans were like, put up or shut up, we want this young freshman to be our guy. Sometimes it feels pretty good just to get the hell of, you know, get the hell of dodge, get out of home, leave Clemson, go on the road, and kind of us against the world mentality. So I think DJU bounces back in a big way.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Love the way Shipley's been running the football. And then once again, defensively, you know, they'll dominate Notre Dame. So I don't know what Vegas knows that I don't know. Obviously, I know a lot more than Vegas, I guess, because I'm 16 and 11. 11 on the season. But I just think that's a crazy, crazy low number for Clemson. Oh, no. Did you just fly too close to the sun?
Starting point is 00:24:16 We got to give things to our in Jesus when he, when he helps us out and thinks we win or lose. Oh, man. Okay. I gods, oracles of the desert, the Vegas gods out west, just know that was said in jest,
Starting point is 00:24:30 okay? We all bow to you. We all recognize your superiority. Please do not punish us. for our hubris. But no, I mean, Aaron, your breakdown of the game feels just absolutely spot on. Right. Like you almost, like, I don't even care about DJU or Clubnik. There's just no way that Notre Dame is going to be able to get anything going offensively. And at the end of the day, like, Clemson can, Clemson can trip and stumble and fall their way into enough points to win this
Starting point is 00:25:02 game. They are, they, they, they, Clemson should feel themselves. pretty fortunate that they scheduled this. And so that Notre Dame is not maybe the team that they thought they were going to be at the beginning of the year. And they thought they had Tyler Buckner and maybe it was a team that could win 10 games. And for Notre Dame, look, it's another great test for Mark. I mean, I guess I should approach this from the Notre Dame perspective as well. It's another great test for Marcus Freeman here early on. It is not gone according to plan at first.
Starting point is 00:25:34 They did get a great win against Sears. in which they dominate a solid Q's team on the road. Of course, a Q's team that gave Clemson fits. So if we're just looking at relative opponents there, that would maybe be a point that Vegas is looking at here. And for Freeman, it kind of tough year continues, right? I mean, they still got USC coming down the tracks as well. So there is potential, like if Notre Dame does win this game, Aaron,
Starting point is 00:26:02 that would be massive for Marcus Freeman. Right. Like that would be, that would be his first signature win. I mean, you're talking about being a top four college football playoff team in South Bend. If you could somehow accomplish that the same year in which you lost to Marshall in that stadium, that would be growth. That would be pretty mind-blowing. And that would immediately get the fan base back on your side. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I will, it's funny because I've put some, some good. cash i'm telling you when i saw that three and a half i'm like oh my goodness like let me put that on there before it moved it honestly it hasn't moved all week which i'm a little bit surprised about but i will say this like i will gladly lose a little bit of cash money to get clumpsin out of the damn playoffs like to just end the conversation yes i agree i agree and i too will sacrifice that okay the super chats continue to pop off uh dillon meadows who i think is an ls u van i'm almost positive uh dillon metals have to head out early we'll listen to the rest later, but need to give my donations to the church of snaps.
Starting point is 00:27:09 May the force be with you. Dude, I didn't get to watch Andrew or last night because my pod. I cannot wait to watch tonight. And then remember, Andy J to start the show gave 1999. Rob D. came back with 20. Price is right at him, right? Andy J for Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Rob D for them dogs. Andy J. Ups the Annie with the 4999 and Rob D. Once again, price is right comes out with the $50 on the nose super chat who's that coming down the tracks oh my god that's rob d's music shout out to everyone here donating to the church of snaps um we do brum is there any way could someone add up like is the school count maybe bilbo in the chat are our wonderful moderator um it looks like a hundred eighty super chats today great job y'all um
Starting point is 00:28:05 All right, all right. Okay, let's go to any more thoughts on Clemson, Notre Dame before we move on. Great opportunity for Marcus Freeman, but in the end, I think just completely outmatched by that Clemson defense. No, this is outmatched. I mean, if you look at the schedule this year, though, like if there is going to be a slip-up game, this is it. But this is also, you know, we talk about like for Clemson, I mean, how many games you have each year where you feel like you need to get up for? Like when Clemson got their schedule to start the season off, they circled like three games. Like, hey, like we actually have to wake up, put our pants on and actually play hard this game, this game, this game.
Starting point is 00:28:45 And Notre Dame is one of them. Like we did expect Notre Dame to be a better football team than they are. They're not terrible by any means. But this is still one because of the brand where Clemson's like, hey, after a buy week, you have two weeks to prepare, two weeks to get ready. And this is one of our games, once again, where we just have to be kind of on our P's and Q's. ready to go, especially on the road to where you have to focus a little bit more and hone in. So I think you'll get a very competitive Clemson team. I think you'll get a team that is ready to fight for DJU on offense and go out there and make a pretty big splash.
Starting point is 00:29:19 All right. Coming up next on the top five, this last game, we're kind of the brand names. Now we're getting to the big boys, to the real heavy weights. Hey, look at us, Aaron. Just a couple of top 10 teams chopping it up. I mean, am I right or am I right? Look at us, dude. Just, I, Georgia, LSU.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Good living team. Number three, number 10. I mean, it feels so good to be in the top 10. Even though I'm feeling a little bit like, uh, was it Anthony Ruiz. You remember when Anthony Joshua, okay, Anthony Joshua, former under undefeated heavyweight boxer, right? A few years ago, uh, he had a fight plan. Somebody backs out and they stick this super fact guy.
Starting point is 00:30:05 it. Anthony Ruiz, right? Do you remember this guy at all? Have you ever seen him Andy Ruiz? And yes, that is you're talking about. Uh, they call him Andy Ruiz. Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, Andy Ruiz Jr., there you go. I mean, just he's a last second replacement. Arguably doesn't deserve to be there. Got trumped up a little bit. He's supposed to be the fall guy for Joshua, right? Keep the undefeated record. What does Andy Ruiz go out there? Belly jiggling everywhere? He beats Anthony Joshua, knocks him out. Dude, that's what LSU's trying to do this weekend, okay? They set him up to be the fall guy.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Give Alabama another top 10 win. Aaron's third eyes open. He already told you the only reason they kept Texas in the top 25 was to help justify Alabama at six. But guess what? You might as well call me T. Andy Ruiz because we're about to knock Nick Joshua Sabin's ass out come Saturday night. Let's go, baby.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Come on. As long as T-Bubb is not doing the introductory video for, for LSU, they will be more than motivated to go out there and play Alabama. So I think we're in good hands right now heading into the game. Listen, I think I think LSU has a legitimate chance. Would it surprise me if Alabama goes out there and beats them by 20 plus points? Honestly, yeah, it would. I think I think LSU keeps this thing close.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I think LSU is a good football team. And I said it yesterday in the show about where Alabama's ranking and why they're ranked where they are. First of LSU is way of ranked too. but they're ranked where they are because they're Alabama, because of Nick Sabin and their history and the fact they're one of the blue bloods. That is it. If you've seen and watch Alabama play each and every game this season, they've been good and they flirted with great at times,
Starting point is 00:31:52 but they haven't been that consistently great football team. There is a team with holes, whether it's a secondary, whether it is the receivers being average. It's just not a team that's not a team that's, scares you by any means. And I think LSU right now, the number one thing that you need when you do face Alabama is confidence. It's confidence. And hey, we can actually win this damn game. Like we're not scared of big, bad Nick Saban's coming into town and we're just going to roll over and play dead. So I think that they're at home. It's a night game. They've been playing extremely well on both
Starting point is 00:32:26 sides of the football. There is a clear path for LSU to win this football game. I think they have to be able to run the football. I think Jaden has to continue to do what he did two weeks ago, running the football, taking care of the football, just trusting his eyes and letting it rip. All those things have to occur. Like if he can duplicate what he did versus Ole Miss between how accurate he was throwing and how dominant of a runner he is, I think that's going to bode well for this football team and give him that opportunity. And then two, make Alabama one dimensional. You know, stop Gibbs. You know, Gibbs is a beast. Yeah. You know, can you slow down Jamir Gibbs? And can you Just please, I know it's easier said than done it.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Someone someone has to figure this out. Maybe watching two weeks of film, you can get it right for LSU. And we've seen LSU dominate defensively at the defensively at the defensively, especially there in Baton Rouge. Can you contain Bryce from running around buying time and forcing your DBS to essentially cover receivers for five or six seconds? If you can do that, I promise you, LSU's DBSs are good enough to hang with Alabama's receivers throughout the football game.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Yo, what up? Come here. I got some you might like. Teabob here from Snaps, the Volume Network's new college football podcast. Come to look at my coat right here. You see that? You see inside there? You know what that is?
Starting point is 00:33:49 That's a no sweat same game parlay because every single Thursday, the Fanduals Sportsbook app gives you a no sweat same game parlay. That's right. Whether you're new, you already have an account, every single Thursday, you get a no sweat, same game parlay, up to $10. So if it doesn't hit, guess what? You get that $10 back and free bets to use later on. So when I see that, what do I want to do?
Starting point is 00:34:13 I want to go balls to the wall. I want to go big. And if it doesn't hit, whatever, I can win it back. I'm like a safe spread play on Sunday or something, right? So I've got the most flying high, eagly, sunshine pumping, roll Philadelphia, which Philly's hot right now. I've got a big boy here, okay? We're going all out.
Starting point is 00:34:32 We're going Jalen Hertz over 300 pass yards. Okay. Jalen Hertz over 50 rushing yards. A.J. Brown over 80 receiving yards. A.J. Brown, two touchdowns. If you do that, that $10 same game parlay, if this hits, well, when you $1,123. And 98 cents.
Starting point is 00:34:53 So what do we do? What do we do it? It's a no sweat, same game parlay. When that doesn't hit, well, guess what? You get that money back and free bets every single Thursday. That's why Fandual is America's number one sportsbook. So download the Fandul Sportsbook app today. Use the promo code Baton Rouge.
Starting point is 00:35:09 See Fandul Sportsbook app, promo code Baton Rouge. Let's make every moment more with Fandul, an official sports meeting partner of the NFL. Yeah, I mean, you look at Bammers receiver. Jamir Gibbs actually leads the team in catches. Like it is not a high volume. In fact, Aaron, this statistical comparison, shocked me. And I think you're absolutely right about holding Bryce Young in the pocket.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Because as soon as he slips that first tackle, right, that's one of the keys to game. As soon as Young slips up, you're dead. Like you're dead. Like I don't care if it's third and 17. They're getting the third and 17. Texas did an elite job. And I hate Texas. And I know one ever trust him again. But they did an elite job in that regard. They maintained discipline rush lanes. Their DBs contained the weapons so the young had to hold onto the ball. and eventually their interior guys got home. We'll see if LSU is capable of doing the same.
Starting point is 00:36:03 One of the main matchups for me, Aaron Murray, are the freshman tackles, right? LSU's got two true freshman starting tackles right now, offensive tackles. I really cannot put into words just how insane that is. Like the challenge that you're asking to do. In fact, Andrew Whitworth a few weeks ago was talking to the local beat writer from the advocate, the paper down here. And he said that in his opinion, maybe outside of being asked to start as a true freshman at quarterback, you are talking about the hardest job in football and as a true freshman.
Starting point is 00:36:36 And it's not like they're like overly helping these guys, Aaron. They're not constantly chipping. They do like seven man protection for shots, but it's not something that they're overusing. Like, no, they are trusting these freshman offensive tackles. Now, the problem is these freshman offense tackles have not gone against a Will Anderson, right who again it's so funny that we all think of are a lot of people and i know i've been beating this to death but it amazes me a lot of people think of will anderson is being down this year and yet he leads the cc and tfls and his second in sacks right like like he's still
Starting point is 00:37:11 incredible so my biggest concern Aaron and maybe you can offer some insight here from a quarterback perspective is when jaden daniels was struggling earlier than this year he was not trusting of the line and even when he had clean pockets, he was getting a little happy feet and he would tuck and he would run, right? And he would pass up open plays that were presenting themselves down the field. The last two games, when he has been elite, he has trusted the offensive line. He has maintained pocket composure. He's gone through his progressions and he's delivered some great balls. I get concerned because Will Anderson is going to beat you, right? I just get concerned that if he's you to consistently do you break down all the trust that has been built up over the last
Starting point is 00:37:59 couple of weeks and as a quarterback Aaron, I'll ask you how like how quickly can that break down and trust happen? Oh, it can happen fast. It really can, especially when you know in the back of your mind heading into the game that Will Anderson is on the other side of the line. So I think the goal for for LSU and obviously then the reverse side of things, the goal for Alabama is getting to third and manageable. Like, and that's why I said like design quarterback runs early on for Jaden Daniels, whether it's a zone read RPO, balls out quick, you know, bubble screens to the receivers
Starting point is 00:38:34 on the outside. Like can you get three, four yards on first down? Can you get three, four yards on second down? Then all of a sudden, you're not having to mentally think, hey, man, it's third and 10. And I got to take a three or a five step drop and know that I'm going to have to, you know, essentially buy three or four seconds from my receivers to get open if I want to at the first down.
Starting point is 00:38:52 That's when you start to stress out a little bit as a quarterback. So it's all about going against a defense like that and a defense event like Will Anderson, it's all about staying ahead of the chains, not allowing him to tee off and feel like, hey, man, it's third and 10. Let me just put on my booster pack and tee off on the quarterback. And then, you know, for, I think overall for both teams that the stat that I want to look at, is that quarterback rushing number. I think if Alabama can contain Jaden Daniels,
Starting point is 00:39:22 and especially on first and second down efficiency, can you get to third and long situations? And I think you can say that for both teams, honestly, because I've loved what BGO Jolari's done on the outside for LSU this entire season. What team has the most success on first and second down to me is a team that's going to win this game? Because for Alabama, you got William Anderson
Starting point is 00:39:43 going against a freshman tackle. For LSU, you have home. field advantage. You got B. Joe Jolari, Allie Gay, and we've seen what they've been able to do playing there in Baton Rouge on those 30 long situations. So it is imperative, imperative, imperative for both these offenses. Success, success, success, first and second down. Do not get behind the chains because you'll get Ian alive if you're a quarterback. And if you haven't watched LSUIA this year, Harold Perkins, number 40, the true freshman on defense is a badass. And when you're talking about not letting Bryce Young slip out of there.
Starting point is 00:40:20 He might be your best path to contain it. So be interested to see how Matt House employs him. Aaron, this is shocking. And I know Bryce Young missed a game and a half. But in some odd ways, Jane and Daniels basically missed the Auburn game, right? Like he did sit out the second half, but then he just didn't show up the first half.
Starting point is 00:40:37 But listen to these stats. Would you have ever guessed this? Right now, Bryce Young's completing 60% percent of his passes, Jaden Daniels, 69.9. Bryce Youngstone for 1,900 yards. Jade and Daniels stone for 1,800 yards. Bryce Young's rushed for 130. Jade and Daniels has rushed for 5.20.
Starting point is 00:40:56 And here's where it gets into this. They have both accounted for 21 total touchdowns. With Bryce Young having thrown three picks on the year, Jaden Daniels only one. And it was a Hail Mary at the end of that in Tennessee. So, you know, I'm just saying, like, Jade and Daniels still being slept on. I think there's still a lot of early season down, but the form he is in right now is as good as anyone in the country. By the way, the super chat
Starting point is 00:41:26 war continues. It looked like UGA quickly taking a lead. And then Andy Jay pops back in with a 1999 super chat. This one's for Dolly. Shout out Dolly as now unofficially, Bilbo has it scored at 9997 for 10. a C and 79 99 for UGA. Oh, Go let our down. Early wins will translate to wins on the weekend. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Come on. Come on. We don't even see any of this money. Papa Colin. What are you doing? Give this to Brum or Polly Walnuts. Rob D. Now, once again, one up you by one cent.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Andy Jay giving $20 on the dot. This one's for months. and we'll have to, I think that pretty much draws it even. Bilbo will let us, let us know. Here's the last thing I'll say about this game. I know we just analyze it. I don't give a fuck about analysis, Aaron, okay? As I said, I'm a blood boy.
Starting point is 00:42:30 This is Mad Max Fury Road style. I'm getting out my spray paint of chrome, my canned spray paint of chrome paint, freaking, blow it down my mouth. And guess what? I live, I die, I live again. How can you kill that which is already dead? You can't make me sad. You can't make me mad.
Starting point is 00:42:51 I've already had my heart shattered into a thousand pieces. And guess what? I'm still here and I'm still yelling bullshit into a microphone. So make no mistake. I'm coming for an ass this week in Alabama. There is no fear. I don't care what happens. I don't care about who your defensive ends are.
Starting point is 00:43:08 I don't care about your Heisman trophy winning quarterback. We're about to hand you the most disappointed. loss of the Nick Saban era Saturday night in Death Valley. To Falhalla. And now to the number one game of the week, the Tennessee volunteers traveling between the hedges to take on the Georgia Bulldogs, who's lighten up the super chats and Aaron Murray,
Starting point is 00:43:32 the first ever number one versus number one. How about it, brother? What are the vibes like around Athens right now? Oh, I guarantee you, it is absolutely. electric it's going to be a beautiful weekend uh i know atlanta right now is already buzzing like everywhere you go my whole neighborhood georgia flags are waving everywhere my brother-in-law is talking shit he played baseball tennessee he's feeling all juicy about the football game uh i talked to josh dobs the other day him and nick chubb are flying down from cleveland right now to come to the game they're all jacked up
Starting point is 00:44:03 like it's going to be like a celebrity studded sideline so i'm just so damn jealous that that i have to work this weekend, unfortunately. But I'm going to call my little hard out. You get to call Liberty. You get to call Liberty. I got the inside scoop for snaps about his, if you know, he's kind of got that, that, that, that, that early call from his agent saying, Hey, man, they, they're double in your contract.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Let's go. We're moving to the planes. All right. My initial thoughts on this game. One, I'm scared of self. I'm a Georgia fan. I really am. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:44:38 This is, this is a Tennessee offense that is, that's, that's, that's, electric that is mature, that is not afraid of the moment, that's not afraid about playing on the road. Obviously, we saw how they beat down LSU on the road this early on the season. They will be ready to go. I think at the end of the day, the big number that I want to look at is yards per completion or yards per attempt, whatever, which one you want to go at for Tennessee. Can you make them earn it? Just straight up, make them freaking earn it. They're going to score touchdowns. this offense who's number one in the country and points per game, they are going to score. So Georgia fans don't get upset if Tennessee scores a touchdown.
Starting point is 00:45:20 But if they're going to do it, make it a five-minute drive, make it a six-minute drive. Just don't do what we've seen all year long, whether it was Kentucky last week or the quick hitters versus Alabama, those three-play drives that go 75 yards in a minute, minute and a half. Those are the daggers. And I do think Georgia's secondary is skilled enough to slow them down. You know, especially the safetys. Like Chris Smith is an absolute stud there. The freshman Starks is an absolute stud.
Starting point is 00:45:50 I think those guys can match up and I've seen enough film of Tennessee to hopefully be prepared. But the one thing that does work me a little bit is we talk about Georgia reloading. We talk about Georgia and they're going to be fine. And they've looked really elite on defense. I still think they are one of the premier defenses in the country. but they've not been tested like they're going to be tested this weekend. This is really the first true moment for Kirby Smart and this defense to say, yes, we did reload.
Starting point is 00:46:21 So we'll see, man. I'm fingers crossed. I do think the atmosphere is going to be absolutely electric. I do think that plays a huge role in these type of ball games. We've seen it all year long. What home field advantage does. So defensively, just make a merchant. If you make a merchant, see if you can frustrate Tennessee because they're not.
Starting point is 00:46:38 use of driving over and over again long drives and then for georgia on offense just do what you've been doing all year long you got to make sure you take care of the football uh i think you got to get the run game going get brockbauer's involved early and i think i think i think kenny mickintosh is going to have to have a hell of a ball game can you get kenny the ball in space as much as you can you know it's interesting erin uh because outside looking in i think i'm i'm completely guilty of falling into the Tennessee trap here. Like, like, just from an excitement standpoint, right? Because it feels like UGA's offense is not terribly dynamic.
Starting point is 00:47:19 But then you look up and they're like one of the top five offices in the entire country. In fact, I think in the nation, I think they're actually right behind Tennessee and like yards per game, right? It's just that they do it in such a different way. They're so efficient. Now, you mentioned being able to stop the three play 75 yard drives. I'll ask you this.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I mean, is that actually possible? I mean, I know that you think that that secondary can potentially do that. I just don't know if any secondary can. Well, actually, I guess that's the case. If Georgia can't, then no one can. So like, if you want to believe that your team can maybe stop in and hooker company, if Georgia can't this weekend, well, guess what? Your team can't do it neither, okay?
Starting point is 00:47:58 What about Cedrick Tillman being back? Obviously, Jalen Hyatt has really come into his dome. Tillman returns last week as Kentucky. nothing, you know, to really write home about four catches, 22 yards. But you're someone who through doing this show has really opened my eyes. Don't worry, y'all. We're going to catch up on the super chat. But you've really opened my eyes to how much these quarterbacks depend on having their elite weapons.
Starting point is 00:48:22 And how when one of these guys is out, it's not just a, okay, next man up mentality. No, like it is, it's legitimately hard to overcome. Well, now you're getting back the guy that before this season you thought was your best receiver. how much harder does that make it for Georgia? Well, it's harder because now there's tons of film out there that Jalen Hylett is Jalen Hyatt, excuse me, could possibly be the number one receiver or win the award for best receiver at the end of the season. So all of a sudden defensively, you head in the season saying, okay, can you stop Cedric Tillman?
Starting point is 00:48:52 Like Brew McCoy is young in the system. You know, we want to see how he kind of finds his path within Tennessee before we have to really, you know, focus our attention on him. But I mean, heading in the season, those were two guys like, hey, Cedric Tillman's one. Brew McCoy too. And we really don't know, you know, Jay, Jaylan's talented, but can he be a game changer?
Starting point is 00:49:12 So now of a sudden he has been that elite receiver, one of the best receivers in the conference, one of the best receivers in the country. So all of a sudden, defensively, you can't just say, hey, Cedric's back. He's healthy. Let's just focus all over our attention on him.
Starting point is 00:49:25 Like, no, like you have to focus on Jalen. You've got to focus on Brew. And you've got to focus on Cedric. And then the other fast setting stat, too, Tennessee actually runs the focus. ball more than Georgia. And then vice versa, Georgia actually throws the ball more than Tennessee. I just said, I just said yes, because I know that Tennessee is very good at running the
Starting point is 00:49:48 ball. But, but you're telling me that what? What? That's crazy. Like that is that is that I feel like that is a massive public misconception. Like right now, rushing attempts, rushing attempts this season, Tennessee is 347. which is third in the SEC behind Mississippi and Arkansas, which we know are two big time running teams.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Tennessee is actually third with 347. Georgia is at 286 rushing the football. Then it's 43 times a game against 35 times a game. Yeah, Georgia has thrown the ball 300 times behind Mississippi State. So Georgia is actually second in the SEC in passing attempts. And Tennessee is at 251, which is six. So very fascinating sense. So we talk about Tennessee's offense.
Starting point is 00:50:35 We think throw, throw, throw, throw. We think Henan Hooker, High has been favorite. But there's a team that wants to run the football, whether it's with Jabari Small, whether it's quarterback design runs with Henan Hooker. So I think, you know, defensively for Georgia is, hey, you got to stop the run first. You know, you got to make Tennessee one-dimensional on the road, make them throw the football, get them to third and long situations themselves. So I just thought that was a really fascinating stat that you would not,
Starting point is 00:51:01 I guarantee if you would have asked anyone in the chat, that question, no one would have answered it correctly. And I wouldn't either. I was just looking at that's all it. Bro, Tennessee is sixth in the SEC and pass attempts per game. They only throw the ball 31 times a game. Alabama A&M. L.S.
Starting point is 00:51:19 For lots of the game. Well, yes. Well, and they average 200 yards rushing games. So they can actually run the ball, right? But no, but no. But I see what you're saying, Brum, but I also, there are. There are attempts to T.
Starting point is 00:51:34 their attempts, yards per attempt is more than two yards higher than anyone else at 11.3 yards per 10.11.11.3 yards. They're getting your first down every time they put the throw ball. I guess that's true, right? When you throw a 75 yard touchdown, well, that's only one attempt. Like, you don't have to throw it again that drive. You're good to go. That's insane. Their attempts are low because they're so freaking effective at throwing the deep ball. That's why I can't trust Georgia this weekend, dude. I'm just too sucked in by the sexiness of Tennessee. It's just overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:52:09 If Georgia manages to come out and like squeeze this thing out in the kind of ruthlessly efficient, anaconda like way that they've been winning and playing games this year, not only will I be shocked and amazed, but obviously then they are
Starting point is 00:52:25 immediately your national championship favorite. Because if they can do this to Tennessee, they can stop Ohio State. It's both, though. I think you can make a statement right now, like the winner of this game is a massive favorite to win the national championship. Massive favorite. Yes, fair, fair, fair. This is an early natty kind of here.
Starting point is 00:52:46 All right. Oh, man, okay. I hope somebody's been adding up the super chats because I lost. We do have, we do have an update score from Bilbo T. Baggins, UGA. I want to make sure I get them all. I'm sorry. Go ahead, Brum. Their updated count of score is 121.96, Georgia, Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:53:03 101.96. Oh, okay. With a few extra dollars through in there from other fans. Yeah, okay. So I'm about, about to make sure of get them all. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:14 So back when it was tied, Andy Jay says with a $2 super chat, Davey Crockett said, not today. Jaja. And he said Jaja. Darth Jamesis comes in with a $4.99.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Please let this make a difference for the home state. Then you have Rob D come in with another $2. with F-TMF, F-D-M-F-Rs. I believe it, I love that. Kirby's visor comes in with a $499 Super Chat. UJ clears the smoke.
Starting point is 00:53:45 413 F-D-O-M-Fers, dogs on top, two trophies seasons. Okay, Kirby's Wiser. Very excited. But then Andy Jay, my God, right when you think Joe just got it. Andy J with the 49 99 super chat. Ain't no party like a Tennessee boat race. Smoky is the better dog more versatile.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Ooh, had not considered this. Bulldogs are very inbred. I mean, a lot of health problems. Uga makes me uncomfortable. If Ugga was a human, he would be one of those like people that, you know, you'd be here. No, I mean, not, not holy.
Starting point is 00:54:30 You're not wholly off. You're not wholly off. You're not wholly off. Gargarian is what he would be. He would be vastly. Yes. Very inbred. Very obese. There you go.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Catch him. White skin. White hair. Yeah. He would make you uncomfortable when you saw him walk because you'd be like, oh man, what's what's just wrong with his hips? That sucks. On the other hand,
Starting point is 00:54:50 Smoky's the picture of hell. I mean, does that come into play? Healthier dog mascot? It could, dude. People are connecting the dots of the chat. So, okay, so I guess Tennessee is now winning with a hundred and four $1. What? Is this what it's like to go to college in a state with a functioning economy? I mean, what the hell, dude? You all have hundreds of dollars to throw around in super chats.
Starting point is 00:55:14 And here comes Rob D with a $30 and one cent super chat. My wife's going to kill me. Everyone, calm down. Everyone calm down. We are closing the polls. Closing the balls and the show team up and the show. Yeah, we got to go. We got to go. Hey, save the money for some bets. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, Fandle. Yes, download Fandle Sportsbook app, promo code snaps, bet there and actually win somebody. We really do love y'all to support the show.

Yeah, Rob says my wife's going to kill me again. Andy gets it. How can you kill that, which is already dead, Aaron? You can't. Here's to hoping that both of us will be celebrating come Saturday night. We're going to find out over the next couple of days. Remember, best bets coming out tomorrow, five and one last week. Boys feel really good about the board this weekend. Seriously love you all so much. We'll see you on the next episode of snaps.
