This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Joey Dardano, and on my new podcast, Hope from a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives,
helping people in need with thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a comedian.
I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff rant and recommend some of the most legally
dubious advice known to me.
This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.
Listen to Help from a Hypocrite Wednesdays on the IHard.
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is Saigon, the story of my family and of the country that shaped us.
From I Heart Podcast, Saigon.
You don't think I'm serious about a free Vietnam?
One city, a divided country, and the war that tore America apart.
This is for Vietnam.
They're pouring Patrick all over here.
Freedom for Vietnam!
There's a fire coming to this country and it's going to burn out everything.
Listen to Saigon.
on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
The volume.
What's up, Patty?
How you doing, man?
I'm good.
Okay.
Good, man, good.
Listen, there's one thing I got to tell you that I'm very surprised.
So I'm in Florida, right, at an appearance.
And the company, Anderson Ord, the daughter was like,
I love Patty Pimble.
I'm like, but how?
Like, come here, come and stay high.
Patty how like what what do you think say hi to patty philly right yeah
good okay you get you get talk to you got to you got to you got to you got to you got to
betty betty she got dressed but let me ask you question how did you how are you making this
connection with these kids like that because i remember in miami you said to me it's infectious
the music the energy wait until you experience my walkout the kids now bro from my
wrestlers to even like here they're like we love patty pimblit like how did you make the connection
with these young kids like that just by being myself don't what i mean i i i still feel like a young kid
myself still feel 18 in the in the brain so i'm just like one of them where um yeah as i say just
being myself and not being fake i think that's the main part of people actually liking you yeah
They are really drawn to you in the Patty Pimlet train.
And, you know, we spoke by this last time.
It hasn't always been easy.
But now you find yourself in a big spot.
Your last fight, you and I sat in that hotel in Miami, right?
We were off on the corner because they were telling us, be quiet.
We were talking too loud.
We do the interview, and you sat there and you told me, D.C.
In your Patti Pimlet accent, I am going to smash this dude.
I was like, come on, man.
This is Michael Chandler.
This dude has not been beat.
He's always in a close match.
He's always good.
He's tough.
You said, I am going to destroy him.
And you did.
Was there a moment in there where it kind of got a little,
it was going a little better than you could have even as anticipated?
No, it started off a little waste I anticipated.
I should have finished him faster.
I started a little bit slow in that fight.
But as I say, I knew what I was going to do to him.
I knew that I was going to beat him.
up. I just knew and I know the same's going to happen this Saturday.
You know, you picked him up and you took him down and you controlled him and beat him up on the
ground. This guy's an NCAA All-American. So is Justin Gagey. You are some claims, Patty.
The claims that you're going to destroy Justin in that way, it gets met with resistance.
Where's the confidence come from?
I've just always had this weird form of self-belief, but I'm not going to. I'm not going to.
confidence in any other walk of life. I'll be honest, I'm only confident when it comes to fighting
because I know how good I am at it. I know how good I am at mixed martial art. So I'm super
confident and I think that's why I'm so good because of how confidence I am in myself.
I keep seeing people lately saying I won't be able to take Justin Gagey there, just like he said,
I wouldn't be able to take Michael Chandler there? But we'll see on Saturday night, won't we?
But what if you can't take him down? Can you stand and strike?
with Justin Gage?
Yeah, I know for the fact I can.
He went life and death with Michael Chandlerlard.
I don't know what I mean?
He nearly got knocked out by Chandler
who's got arms this long.
So like, imagine what I'm going to do to him.
You know, when you got the title fight, right,
there was a lot of people, oh, it shouldn't have been this guy.
And I was actually on the phone the other day,
or no, on an interview and he said,
if Armand, well, Armand just beat Patrick.
or so I was like, oh, he's very good, but nobody just beats Patty Pimlet.
Do you feel like you're starting to get that respect from people?
It doesn't even matter because I know when I watch, I'm watching you and saying there is no easy knife against Patty Pimble because of what I saw in the last fight.
Yeah, it doesn't matter what people are saying.
People have doubted me in my whole career.
Like, ever since I started fighting an amateur level when I was a little kid, everyone's always doubted me.
but I use them as motivation
and push me on
and make me do even better
and it's worked for years
and years, you know, people keep
going on about Armin, lad.
Shut up about him.
People actually like Armand now because they hate me.
That's the only reason he's got some fans
where I have love eight relationship with people,
some people love me, some people hate me.
People have only jumped on the Armand train
who hate me and want to see me fail.
That's the only reason
Norman's got fans.
No one likes him.
Why don't you like Armand so much, man?
Hey, can I ask you what?
He's a spoiled little bitch.
No what I mean?
He's had everything handed to him on a silver platter his whole life with caviar served on the side.
He doesn't know what it are days' work is.
He wouldn't know what it's like being from Liverpool.
No what I mean?
Stick Armenian here up your ass, your little crab.
What is a what is a posh boy?
Why do you call this man Pots Boy?
What is that?
Don't have you said Posh boy in America, no.
No, we don't say Posh Boy.
What is the Posh boy?
You know what I've heard, Posh Spice?
Posh Spice, David Beckham's wife.
She's posh.
She grew up posh with a dad with loads of money
who drove the Rolls Royce.
Did you see when David Beckham checked her on them?
They were on the documentary.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Like, and that's what I mean?
saying that his dad will transfer him 500K
if he asked for a new car
that's just a spoiled little bitch
I don't mean he's never wanted
for any other than his life
so
it would seem like fighting armin
would be easy right because you have these feelings
about him what about justin
do you have those feelings about justin or
no no i don't have any animosity
towards justin at all
we've just had to do a little paramounting then
and we had to stare at that lad
the others about this far apart from each other
staring at each other for two minutes straight
and we were like, Jesus,
are we going to have to kiss here or something?
What did that feel like you?
What did you take from that?
At first interaction, being that close to him in that way?
I don't want to say, I don't know,
he was nervous because it's just engaged a lad
and he's four to everyone,
so he's not going to be nervous to fight me,
but he was a little bit twitchy,
you know what I mean?
I was just staring at him.
He was like a little bit moving,
his arm a little bit twitchy.
But his neck's very long, isn't he?
Got a long neck.
I've never noticed that he has a long neck.
Yeah, he's got a long neck, lad,
which will not help him with a joke.
So you're saying that under three rounds,
you will put Justin Gates out.
We have not really seen that happen.
Even the fight with Max Holloway,
it happened in the 24th minute of a 25-minute fight.
How can you aggressively approach him in that way
when early in the fight, that would put you in danger?
Or at least it would seem to be.
Yeah, I never feel like I'm in danger in a fight.
I mean, I feel like I can take a shot off anyone
and keep walking forward.
I think I don't want to disrespect him because I really like Justin,
but I think his power is overrated.
He hasn't knocked anyone out with his hands since Jameswick.
He knocked him.
out with an egg kick, but that's a Porriere on the ass end of his career,
who I think was already on a downward spiral.
I don't think Porriere's last couple of fights he looked that good at all.
He gave Islam a decent fight when Islam had staff.
So that explains it.

Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created.
our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was,
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app,

What's up, fam, Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm CJ Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about Define the Oz.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything.
everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history, too.
Steve Nass would get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, IZE,
you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad, but secretly he became someone else,
a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy, but I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong or what that might look like?
No.
I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever
because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.
Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast.

You know, you fighting for the interim championship on Saturday,
you win this belt.
You would seem to refresh the division, right?
You have a potential number one contendant,
Armin Serukian, who you said you would beat any day or the week.
You also have a champion in Ilya to pour you who you said you will not be fighting in April
when he said that he intends to come back in April of May.
why, one, don't you want to fight Iliad to pour you
if he comes back in the spring?
I'm not fighting that soon.
I'm fighting in January.
I'm going on holiday in February.
I won't have enough time.
I've had to sit around and wait for him.
You can wait a couple of months.
End of June, start of July.
Yeah, in the June, start of July.
So you'd imagine it would be I'll be Elliott to pour you next
if you become champion on Saturday.
Yeah.
When I become champion, interim champion on Saturday,
it'll be Elliot.
to Portia after that.
If he comes back in time,
if he doesn't come back by June, July,
then he needs to be stripped or vacate
and let the division move on.
And I'll fight Armand,
people are saying I'm scared to fight Armand.
I've never been offered to fight him.
I'd fight him tomorrow.
Yeah, yeah.
Patty, before I let you go,
so you said that your Christmas was ruined
because you had this fight and you couldn't eat it.
But, but stop, stop.
I need you to be honest here, Patty.
You're kind of playing that up a little bit
because I saw you way back in December
and you don't get as big as you used to.
You used to get real big,
but not as getting serious.
You don't seem to get as heavy as you used to.
Have you started to make it a point
not to get as big as you used to get?
Oh, I'm having me.
Well, not when I was in America.
In June, this year,
I still got up to like 200 pounds,
$205 pounds.
Yeah, but I've got a lot more muscle, you know?
I've got a lot more muscle.
Was that picture AI when your face was looking all big, like fat basketball?
Oh yeah, they're always photoshopped, all of them pictures.
But like even when I come to International Fight Week, I was like 200 pound then.
No what I mean?
But you didn't look fat.
Yeah, but all pictures get edited.
They all get edited of me to make me look fatter.
But I still walk around.
like 195 with abs.
And you're big.
You're very big for the weight class.
Do you think that's going to cause problems
for every one of these guys?
I mean, Ilya's a shorter guy.
Justin's not as big as you are.
And neither is Armand.
Do you feel like your size
is going to be one of the biggest issues
for these guys?
Yeah, it is definitely.
My size will play a big factor.
To be honest, Justin's not small.
Justin's just a little bit shorter than me
in height, but I've got a lot bigger legs
and shoulders, Danham.
Yeah.
But in height, me and Justin, a pretty
similar size. My arms are a bit longer
like, but then Armin and Ely are both a lot
shorter. And that'll play a factor when it comes to fighting.
On Saturday night, you win the interim
championship. What does that mean to Paddy Timberlitt?
A guy who many thought would be a champion in the UFC
to accomplish that goal, what would that mean
for you?
Me and everything, to be honest, there'll be
a combination of a lifetime's way
because I started training 16 years ago, and I was 15.
And it's half my lifetime.
My whole adult life I've been training for this moment.
And I want to come out and take it on Saturday night.
I can't wait to get back.
The fans are going to be rabid too, man.
They've been deprived of fights for seven years.
Yeah, the fans have been going bananas for the show.
So this is going to be spectacular.
Yeah.
You probably need some spectacular in your life right now
after the way Liverpool's playing, huh?
Boy, they gave y'all that great year last year.
We're winning 2-0 right now, lad.
Okay, okay, well.
Finished 3-Nell?
Lovely, up the reds, mate.
Yeah, up the reds.
You know, I hope for some good luck for you all,
because I hate for a champion like y'all
we were last year to look so bad when we,
the Arsenal of London, are playing so, so well right now.
Yeah, you're still won't win the league, though.
You're the bottle.
It's just the way it is.
Well, so here's the thing.
Now that you're fighting for the belt, Patty, you and I can start making real bets.
Champion bets, Arsenal versus Liverpool, D.C. versus Paddy Kimblet.
Let's bet it.
Next year, lad, we'll finish above you using the league.
Def old use won't win it anyway.
City are going to win it.
I'm going to be chasing you down for my money, Patty Pimbley.
Guys, Patty Pimbley.
Guys, Patty Pimlet fights for the UFC intro championship this weekend at UFC 324.
