This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.

The story I've told myself can then shape my behavior, and that can lead me to sabotage the
possibility of connection.

And my first thing is always, can you think of anything else that you can do?
Rather be disappointed in.
Do that.
David O'Yello-O.

I'm Joey Dardano, and on my new podcast, hope from a hypocrite,
I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a coming.
I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant,
recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to me.
This is Help from a Hypocrite,
the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.

You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Here we go.
Friday show, our number two.
Okay, we're not going to go 5 in 0 this week.
So let's not get crazy.
All right, let's just understand.
trying to avoid an 0 for 5.
J. Mack, I get very excited.
You know, I love this
five or six minutes on the show.
Well, you like a hot wind streak, too, obviously.
Yeah. So I would
say the game, I think
Dallas has a chance to keep it close.
I do worry about
their offensive line in pass protection
is not good. It's near the bottom
of the league. Jalen Phillips
looked so good for the Eagles in his
first game, and Jalen Carter
didn't play in the opener. He spit on
back.
Yeah.
So, and you kind of talk me off this one.
I give you credit.
You talk me out of it.
I do think the side, if you're going to bet it, is Dallas plus three and a half.
The other thing I thought about in this game, why I didn't take it.
Dallas looked great on Monday night.
So they are massively overvalued.
Anytime the Cowboys are a popular team, Green Bay Cowboys Eagles, play on a standalone game,
Monday night, beat up on a bad team.
Everybody goes great.
A lot of Cowboy love this week.
so I decided
cooler heads prevail
not to bet it but here's my blazing
five
that's a hot one
let's blaze it up
it's Collins blazing five
Vikings at Packers
I'm going to take Green Bay
as a home favorite to win and cover
minus six and a half
this is about
Jeff Halfley
Green Bay's defensive
coordinator he has built a
very sound defense
second fewest big place
surrendered in the league.
Over at least one takeaway, at least one in five straight games.
So this is about Green Bay at home where everybody's defense is better at home against
J.J. McCarthy, who I don't think in the face of this defense can play clean football.
He's got multiple picks and three of four starts.
His completion percentage is under 53 percent this year.
He is a quarterback that needs to play with confidence and a level.
lead. I don't think he will. I'm going to go with Jeff Halfley's defense to create some offense.
Packers win and cover. It's a lot. It's a division game, 28 to 20.
Steelers at Bears. The up and down Steelers are going to lose. I'm going to take the Bears to win
and cover minus two and a half. Listen, they've won seven of their last eight games. Number two
rushing offense. They don't need big plays. Caleb does not throw a lot of picks. And at home,
he's a better quarterback. At home, he's only taken one sack in the last three games and his
passer ratings, mid-90s. He has been, like a lot of young quarterbacks, he's been better at home.
The Steelers, Aaron Rogers, is banged up. They can't run the football. And right now, they've allowed
25 plus points in three of their four road games. So defenses, Cleveland's an example, Pittsburgh, an example,
to be better at home, I'm going to take the Bears to win and the Bears to cover 27-21.
Colts said Chiefs.
I like the over 50 and a half.
It's the two most efficient offenses in the NFL, and the Colts are off a buy, so you know
Shane Steichen's going to have some tricks.
No two teams have punted less in the NFL than the Colts and the Chief, and the Colts and
their opponents are averaging 4-53 a game, so I'm just going to take the over here.
And their defense in back-to-back games is a little banged up, is giving up over 25 a game.
The Chiefs average 29 at home.
Mahomes has played much better at home, and Kansas City is desperate.
Don't be shocked if the Chiefs don't have their performance of the year off that Denver loss.
I'm taking the over.
I think it's a close game.
Kansas City wins, 28, 24.
take the over 50.5 points.
Seahawks at Titans.
I never take huge favorites.
I'm breaking my rule.
Seattle minus 13 and a half at Tennessee.
Tennessee's 0 and 5 at home.
Six of their losses are by over 10.
Seattle outgained the Rams by 165 points.
Outplay them the final three quarters,
almost one with four picks.
They're a great road team, 11 and 2,
because defense and running games travel, Seattle does both well.
Sam Darnold, despite the picks, PFF has him ranked number two.
Tennessee's atrocious.
Worst point differential in the league.
They do nothing right.
I think the locker room may be lost at this point.
I hate taking huge favorites.
Seattle wins and covers 31 to 13.
Panthers at 49ers.
Okay, I'm going to take Carolina plus seven.
They've won three straight on the road.
Bryce Young is six and four if you're not watching.
And actually, he's had back-to-back games completing 68% of his throws.
And the Niners' defense is a mess.
It's all beat up.
Robert Saul is doing it with smoke and mirrors.
They are just depleted.
And I'll tell you this.
The Niners are a weird team.
Go look the last year, year and a half, how they played after wins.
Some of their worst games have been after they win
and you think they're going to get momentum.
The defense has the few of sacks in the NFL this year,
so Bryce Young, who's been good on the road,
playing with momentum, is going to have time to throw.
I think it's close.
I think San Francisco probably at home finds a way to win.
Also, the Niners, despite having Christian McCaffrey,
are not running the ball particularly well.
Eight of their 11 games under 100 yards rushing.
I'm going to take seven points.
I think Carolina is one of those teams.
that people aren't giving the credit to them because they've been so bad and so dysfunctional.
Carolina can go toe to toe.
Carolina won at Lambo.
Carolina plus seven.
Number does not make a lot of sense to me.
I'm going to take the points.
I think it's a game that goes to the very end.
I'll take the home team.
There you go.
J-Mack, anything you like or dislike vehemently.
Like the Seahawks, sort of like the Bears, sort of like the Packers.
I don't know about the Panthers, Colin.
There is some juice behind this Niners' offense right now.
I don't think the Panthers can hold them down.
Yeah, I would lean Niners in that one.
But overall, hey, you're hot.
What can I say?
I mean, we did both go 5 and 0 last week.
Yeah, I don't hate your picks.
I'm surprised you didn't weigh in on the Shadour Bowl.
Chador against the Raiders.
Well, let's go to Julian Edelman.
Three Super Bowl rings and MVP 12 years.
Let's talk, Shadour.
I don't expect much.
I don't buy into the conspiracy theories.
He's a delightful kid.
I think Max Crosby's going to be chasing him around.
I don't like the negative plays by him.
I do think he throws a good ball.
What are your expectations for Shadour Sanders?
I mean, are they high, low, middle?
Where are you at?
I think they're probably middle.
I think the expectation is he'll be better than last week.
he's playing a team that's pretty bad
but that has a good defense in the Raiders
Max Crosby
Max Crosby can ruin a guy's day
so anytime a young quarterback
has an elite pass rusher
that he knows he's going against
I'm sure he's going to be thinking about that
speeding up his quarterback clock process
but I do expect him to be better than last week
because he's going to have some reps
this week with the ones
he's going to be the focal point in practice
which usually back
cup's aren't. So I expect him to be mid, better than last week, but not terrible, because he does
know how to play ball, six, seven maybe. Yeah. You, one of the reasons I think the chiefs are dangerous
is because we always want to count out the old athlete, you know, the old gronk, and then he goes and
he has a great, like old Travis Kelsey, oh, what do you know? He has nine catches. I think Kansas City
when you don't want to play the Chiefs
is when if they lose they're out of the playoffs.
And I want you to go to your career
and maybe a year for New England
when people were counting you out,
you were facing a very good or hot team.
I just think champions are really dangerous
when nobody's buying them,
when everybody, they hear the media,
they listen.
I think Kansas City plays great this weekend.
Go to your career.
Do you remember a moment like that?
I think we were in 18, late in the year, we were struggling on offense, trying to figure out what we were.
We were doing a lot of that 13 personnel, 12 personnel, a lot of tight ends.
We're struggling to get guys open on the outside, very similar to what the Chiefs are going through.
And then, you know, we were playing against Buffalo when they were young and they were spry and they had a lot going for them.
late in the year. We ended up winning that game and that kind of gave us our confidence boost.
And we lost a game in December that year, I believe, to the Steelers, which, you know, that's kind of the time where you don't want to start losing games is one of the first times we've lost in December where we go on a long run.
So I think the confidence booster was when we played that young Buffalo team that was playing very well.
everyone thought we didn't have the firepower to do it.
We found a way to get a win.
And it took that right there to let everyone know, hey, we're still around.
We still played in a lot of ball games.
We've played in more important football games than most of these teams have even played in.
We've forgotten that many games.
And that could be said about the Chiefs.
Like, these guys didn't forget how to play football.
Yeah, they're in a little funk right now, but they still have a lot of good football players.
and I expect them to turn it on in the back after the season
because they know ultimately it's the most important time
to be playing your best football.
It starts after Thanksgiving.
That's what we all used to say in our building.
The real football season starts after Thanksgiving.
You have to put yourself in position
to be able to compete after that time,
but the real football starts now,
and they're a real football team still.
I don't care what anyone says.
You know, you guys in New England,
you and Grunk were the offense in a solid run game.
And I could argue that's what Buffalo is.
The difference is your defenses were great and Buffalo's has gone into the tank.
I do think they could use another deep threat.
But in fairness, December, January, deep threats often disappear in Buffalo or New England because of the weather.
So when I watched Buffalo last night, my biggest issue is Josh is forcing stuff.
So the turnovers are spiking.
They never did with Tom.
and the defense just, I mean, even Houston ran on them.
Houston has no run game.
I thought Houston looked like they were deeper and more physical and had more good players.
Do you think a lack of a deep threat is the issue?
When you watch Buffalo, they've now lost to Pennix, Tua, and Davis Mills.
What is the problem you see with Buffalo?
Because it's not quarterback.
It's not quarterback.
And I think it's a multiple of things.
I think it has to do with the lack of winning outside the numbers, the deep threat, that X receiver.
They really relied on the Coleman kid who's really disappointed them.
I mean, you know, they spent a second round draft pick on him last year, or was he a first, a second?
Regardless, a high round draft pick that they needed him to play well for their team to work.
And I also think it's got to do with their defense.
I mean, that's not sustainable defense when you can't stop the run.
If you force the bills to play the way they don't want to play from ahead,
making other offenses one dimensional where they have to throw the ball,
they're decent against the pass.
That's what their defense is designed to do.
But they can't get there right now.
So I think it's going to be tough because like you said,
whenever we were struggling on offense or some of these teams that have,
had the older or the quarterback only team or whatever
the Ben Rothless
you could always rely on our defense or our special teams to make
play they got a big team they got a big play from their special teams last
night but their defense is just not there so I think it's a multiple
things I think it's the lack of deep threat which
you know it's very disappointing that this Coleman kid is doing what he's
doing like I can't emphasize that much enough
when a team is relying on you
and especially a team like the Buffalo Bills,
and for whatever reason,
he's got attitude problems.
Like, that's a cancer.
They are relying on him,
and then the defense.
So I think they're a complementary football team.
When they got one thing not going,
because of how they spend their money as a team,
it's not going to work.
So I think it's a couple things.
So Caleb Williams, Drake May and Bo Nicks are winning a lot of games.
They also have Ben Johnson, Mike Vrable, Sean Payton.
They have really good coaches.
That said, you have good sources in New England.
Aren't they even surprised how good Drake May is?
They still don't have a number one receiver.
They don't have a dominant tight end.
It's a good O-line.
It's not a great O-line.
Do you think they're surprised by how efficient he is?
I've talked to a lot of people in there.
and I wouldn't say they're surprised.
I would just say that they were excited.
From day one, you know, talking to one of my main guys there,
he kept saying like, you know, this kid retains information.
He doesn't make the same mistakes.
He processes.
And that's what I heard a lot.
And I didn't see it last year at all,
but I've been seeing it this year throughout the whole season.
One thing he needs to do is he needs to stop taking hits,
and that's going to come with more time on task in this offense,
because you see him in his empty personnel, like his empty situations.
Whenever he's an empty, he looks at his first reading,
and then he ends up taking off and going.
And that tells me he doesn't know the nuances of the offense,
which means he has a lot more room to grow,
which is going to be scary once he gets that empty package going,
because they're really good with the play action.
They got a run game going, and he's got those athletic plays.
but the one constant thing I heard from everyone,
great attitude,
loves to learn,
natural leader,
and can process.
So I never heard surprised,
but I heard excited a lot.
I don't think you can,
you can't fool pro athletes.
And, I mean,
listen, New England had high draft picks,
and a lot of them on offense could not play.
Everybody,
every GM misses on draft picks.
It's hard.
and I watched J.J. McCarthy, and I think to myself,
everybody in the room knows it's a problem,
but J.J. McCarthy's a kid that loses his confidence on the field pretty quickly.
So the last thing you want to do is press him.
What do you do?
I mean, what do you think it's like to be J.J. McCarthy now?
I mean, you had a nice, slow growth because you were not a first-round player.
When you're a first-round pick and they give up picks,
Is there not more pressure to perform immediately?
There's a lot of pressure for everyone in the locker room.
And they all have their own different forms of pressure,
guys that are trying to create a role,
guys that are trying to be a superstar,
guys are trying to be a Hall of Fame,
guys that are trying to make the team.
So pressure is for everyone.
With JJ, they got to just deal with this.
This is what they picked.
You had Sam Darnold in the building last year
for probably a competitive number
where they could have kept him around
for a year and let this kid develop, but they didn't decide to do that.
They decided to go with J.J. McCarthy.
So these are the growing pains you have to go through with the young quarterback who only
has six starts in his NFL career.
You know, it's just he's on a team that's probably a quarterback away from being a really
good playoff team.
So that's the only difference.
Usually you see these first round draft picks, they come in or these very top overall
picks and they're going into an ecosystem that has a losing environment, a losing team,
and that hasn't been the case for JJ.
He went to a team that's pretty much ready to go.
Let's go right now.
So I think they just got to deal with this.
And they got to be able,
because the only people that really know
are the people in that building.
Because there's little things and nuances
that Kevin O'Connell's teaching J.J. McCarthy
that none of us outside of that building know.
And if he's seeing progression weekly,
then that's what he's going to have to deal with.
then he's seeing the growth.
That doesn't mean we can see it
because there could be things that we don't know
what they're coaching on in there.
So they have to deal with this.
This is the hand they chose.
And look, he's in a sixth game of his career.
This is not an easy thing to pick up,
especially in the hardest position in pro sport.
So he's got to learn,
and he's got to learn fast because the games
are only going to get harder as the season goes.
One more question.
and I've asked you this before.
This is about the time your Patriot teams took off.
Explain to people late November football, December football.
How did Belichick address it?
Because you dominated the league for 20 years.
Did the discussions change?
Did the preparation change?
Did the game plans change as it gets cold and windy?
By the way, rosters now are depleted due to injuries.
Everybody's missing top guys.
How does football change?
this weekend and on.
Well, this weekend, there's a light at the end of the tunnel
or going forward after Thanksgiving.
There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
Everyone knows about the seatings.
Everyone knows who's in it.
Everyone knows who's not in it.
So the urgency level in the building goes through the roof.
The beginning part of the season's about learning what this team is.
The middle part of this season is about executing and trying to get this team ready
for the last.
part of this season, which is the real part of the season where you put yourself in contention
to play your best football. We always talked about playing your best football at the end of the season
and a lot of it had to do with health like you mentioned. And also, you know, the teams knowing
what they are, their identity. And then this is the time where, hey, we know what we're good at,
we know what we're bad at. We know where we're vulnerable. How do we make our team go out,
make the least amount of mistakes, have the best week of practice with the highest urgency,
and let these guys know that this doesn't come around a lot. So you have to play your best football.
That's what it was. It was just urgency, preparation. You took a little more time to take care of your
body. Like you said, a lot of guys are banged up. But, you know, this is the best time of the
year because there's a light at the end of the tunnel. It ain't a train. That's the playoffs.
They're coming.
And this is when you start to get that second Joel.
You know, the middle of the season, you're banged up.
First part of the season, you're excited because football started.
And then you get beat up and you're trying to get the ankle right or the oblique ride or your shoulder right.
And then Thanksgiving hits and you get like a shot.
You get a shot of adrenaline because you know this is important football time.
So if you like football and you like to compete, you're in the right business because this time of the year is what that is about.
His podcast, Games with Names, new episode every Tuesday, Fox NFL kickoff on a Friday, Julian Edelman is always, my friend.
Thanks.
All right, guys. Take care.
Jay Max got his picks later.
Albert Brear stops by as well.

and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, news?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called,
Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're out there.
but this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say,
Hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad
Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just to show you that Josh Allen does not trust his wide receiving group.
He's second in the NFL in holding the ball.
Now that's usually a stat for young quarterbacks, like a Caleb Williams, as you're learning defenses or you've got a new coaching staffs.
You've got Ben Johnson, new offensive line.
You're very new in the league.
You know, young guys, young quarterbacks often hold the ball a little long as they learn.
the light comes on and you know they learn a new system new staff
Josh Allen holding the ball that long he didn't want to get hit
especially last night when he knows the defensive line for Houston is working
is working the bills O line and he's still holding the ball right now in the NFL
second longest it is the wide receiver issue it it is
J-Mac with the news
no no no turn on the news
this is the herd line news maybe it's time McDermott put in a call to Brian Dable
who's unemployed right now to advise the offense, Colin.
All right, let's go to the Baltimore Ravens.
They've won four straight to climb back into things in the AFC North.
Interesting.
So we saw Josh Allen was sacked a billion times last night.
Well, you know who else is getting sacked a lot?
Lamar Jackson.
Yeah.
Right?
Last year, he was only sacked 23 times.
This year he's been sacked 23 times in seven games.
Lamar was made aware of the stat.
Here's his response.
I think he got 23 sacks all of last two.
And that's how many you have this year in fewer games.
I talked to the odds of mine about that, man.
Well, that's a lot about that.
Realistically, I mean, does that?
Do you feel the cumulative weight of some of the pressure
you've been getting at this year?
I mean, it's probably football.
You know, sometimes guys will get you, sometimes they won't.
Like I said, I'm talking to my guys about that.
They're probably going to like that, dude.
Yeah, I mean, it's noticeable.
noticeable. I also think the one
question we've always had about the
Ravens Forever is wide receiver.
Is Zay Flowers a 1?
It's, again,
some pretty good defense in the AFC.
You know, is he holding the
ball because there's nobody open? I mean, that's the
Josh Allen issue. I like, Cam Ward
holds it forever. I'm okay with that.
You're Cam Ward and you're a young guy.
But it's interesting.
I still, Baltimore
just does not look quite as dynamic
offensively. Now, again,
and they've paid some guys on defense, good players.
So, you know, it's a quarterback's making some money.
Kyle Hamilton now, I think he's making some money.
So it's a reality of it.
You've got to reallocate resources around the team.
And Lamar, like you said, is getting paid.
Offensive line's not great.
But Colin, we're being honest,
he doesn't look as elusive as he has in years past.
He doesn't.
I don't know if it's the ankle injury
and what he went through this season
or it's just an accumulation of a lot of hits.
But if Lamar's not as elusive,
you have to go get a wide receiver then
because we know he's a great pocket passer
but the running around was his superpower.
All right, let's go to the Green Bay Packers
who are currently right there in the NFC North.
They're in the mix for a playoff spot for sure,
but they only have played one divisional game.
That was the season opener, remember, against the Lions.
So interestingly, five of their final seven games
are against the NFC North.
Matt LaFleur talked about what's at stake.
All that matters is this one game.
And for us right now, I mean, we just got to focus on what's right in front of us
and that's to try to put together the best plan to go out and play a team that I think is an extremely tough football team.
And, I mean, shoot, they put it on us twice last year.
So our guys will be motivated.
They'll be ready to roll.
So this is a problem.
I didn't anticipate this.
So five of their final seven against the division, that's familiar.
Everybody knows each other.
Green Bay, by the way, three and seven against the spread, Colin, second worst in the NFL.
Yeah.
I'm going to tell you, I believe starting this weekend, and again, they don't have Tucker Kraft the rest of the year, so the offense does have a hole in it.
I'm going to make a prediction that starting this weekend, Green Bay is going to start playing their best football the year.
I believe it, this has been, it's still the youngest offense in the league.
I think starting against Minnesota, they're going to take a jump.
So I said that last week against the Giants.
They got the win, only got the push, did not get the cover.
But they just didn't look awesome.
Every week it's something.
Either the defense doesn't play up to what you expect or the offense isn't as Chris.
Now, I did just see a report about an hour ago out of Green Bay.
Jaden Reed, probably their most dynamic playmaker back at practice.
It doesn't sound like he's going to go.
Remember, he was on IR.
I forget what the injury was.
Now he's practicing.
That's a huge get-back because he can line up in the slot outside.
You can do some gadget stuff with him.
And they just need weapons.
There's a big game against the Vikings.
Christian Watson played very well last week.
Watson did two tuddies.
If they lose to the Vikings, Colin, not only do you lose your bet, but that game for the Lions,
Lions Packers on Thanksgiving becomes massive for Green Bay and their playoff hopes.
Final story, college football.
Here we go.
The big one tomorrow.
Oregon, Oregon,
whatever. The Ducks host your
USC Trojans in a big one.
This has a lot of ramifications
for the playoff.
Obviously, the Ducks are heavy favorites.
I'll tell you who I bet in a minute.
But obviously,
the coaches are talking, and here
is Lincoln Riley, saying
the Ducks are going to be on upset alert.
You have to play complete football
against them, right? They've shown the ability
to run the ball, especially
here in the back half of the season.
You know, they really ran the football well.
They've been explosive, been efficient.
You know, I got a good group of backs, some impactful tight ends.
The lines playing well.
So, no, it would definitely be a big challenge for us there.
Here's the thing.
When they go on the road, Illinois and Notre Dame are examples, Michigan last year,
they don't defend the run very well.
And I said going into the Notre Dame game, I said that is a bad matchup for USC.
I think we're going to get some scoring here, but I don't know.
I think Oregon's going to be able to consistently run the ball here, taking it out of USC's hands.
Because the way to beat USC, Illinois showed you the way to beat USC is long drives, run the ball,
keep Lincoln in that high-powered offense off the field.
because USC, I think, despite what the rankings tell you,
I think USC will throw the ball in Oregon, okay.
I do.
I think Oregon's passing defense has not been tested to this level yet.
Remember, Indiana went into Outson and kind of controlled them.
But I tend to think Oregon is going to control the time of possession in this game.
Interesting.
So the total is astronomical, 59 and a half.
A lot of that has to do with USC's inability to play defense.
I need to see an injury report, and I know you're against this.
College football doesn't really have them, so we don't know who's heard, who's back.
I mean, remember, that game, Oregon, Iowa, I told Joel Clatt, it's like, bro, Iowa's going to cover.
And he's like, Oregon should be fine.
The injuries for Oregon have been massive, but they're underplayed because there's no injury report.
So we don't really know who's 100% in?
Well, Oregon's wide receiving groupings, this is a big benefit to USC.
USC is okay at corner, good safeties, not great at lineback.
They have a decent pass rush and great safeties.
You can beat them down the field on the sideline.
And Oregon has a potential to do that, but Oregon's been banged up for two or three weeks at wide receiver.
So, you know, game time decision guys, if they go, edge Oregon.
But that's made Oregon's offense a little more sporadic.
Is they're not quite as consistent?
but a lot of it's just injuries to the receivers.
So I had liked USC member earlier this week.
I was like, this is going to be feisty.
Well, you know, talked to some gamblers.
The number one college football gambler I know is on Oregon.
So I took a nine and a half.
It's now 10, 10 and a half.
Unfortunately, it's a tough one for USC, Collins.
It's going to be difficult.
I agree.
I mean, listen, they struggle with Iowa.
They struggle to put Iowa.
They got into a big hole against Iowa.
You can't get into a big hole at Otson Stadium.
By the way, whether it looks like 47.
and clear so no, no, no, no inclement stuff.

We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

one of the questions is which player will have the most receiving yards jsn against the titans
the titans amonra saint brown versus the giants pickings against the eagles or devontas smith
against the cowboys coward this should be easy who you got j s and against tennessee
Oh, I thought you would go Amun Ra.
That JSN game could be over in the third quarter.
I don't even...
We'll see. It's one of those two, though. I would agree.
So, you know, one of the things I try to grapple with or put my arms around,
young athletes, they get rich.
They're 23, 24 years old.
And when I was 23 or 24 years old, I don't remember how disciplined or undisciplined I was.
I mean, I showed up to work and I worked hard, but I had a good time.
I was in Vegas.
So, you know, I always think, especially in football, quarterback different rules.
Can't go out and party the night before.
Got to be in bed early.
You're the coach on the field.
Wide receiver, off ball linebacker, corner.
So, you know, when C.D. Lamb and George Pickens, the night before a game in Vegas, they're in Vegas.
they're young, they go out and have stakes at Red Rock Casino, beautiful, beautiful.
I mean, they're rich, confident guys, they're young, they go out and have stakes.
Maybe they have a cocktail.
I mean, I'm sure it was watered down in Vegas, a casino, barely any gin in it.
But Jerry Jones was asked on radio if that bothered him.
Do you have a problem with players partying the night before a game?
Yes, I do.
But still, the Adam is...
The idea is this a business trip.
Let's get down to business.
Now, is a couple of cocktails with a teammate party.
It doesn't appear to be a nightclub deal.
It wasn't a four in the morning deal.
There's a report somebody was thrown up in the hotel lobby.
It's been denied.
CD Lam said, I can handle my liquor.
That wasn't me.
So I don't think it was a party situation.
But I would say this is position to me.
I go into situations, I have kids.
They're going to make mistakes.
I just bake it in.
My stockbroker will have bad stocks.
Like I bake it into life.
So it's not the end of the world.
It's wide receivers.
Hey, it'd be different if they were from a buddy not on the team.
The fact that two-star receivers are friends, I would argue, that's not terrible.
I'm probably in the minority here.
It's not the end of the world.
Again, it's not a Super Bowl.
It's a road game.
You're with a teammate.
It doesn't sound like it was a wild party,
boozy night.
Maybe a little boozy, not boosy.
So I'm okay with it.
The Shadour Sanders start to me is I,
there's 11 different prop bets.
I will bet probably none of them.
I would say,
what do I expect from Shadur Sanders in his first career start?
Stefansky would rather he not throw more than 25 times.
They would rather run the football, which they may be able to do against the Raiders.
Also, you don't need to score a lot of points against the Raiders.
So if you're Kevin Stepansky, 23 points could be it.
So my guess is he's telling Shadur is, listen, they're not going to move the ball much on us.
They're not moving the ball on anybody.
They can't run the football.
Gino throws picks.
Our defense will put us in a good field position.
So this is one of these games.
I said this about Caleb against the Steelers.
It's a self-awareness game.
Pittsburgh's not going to score a lot on Chicago.
You don't need to challenge JJ.
You don't need to hold on to the ball.
We're going to run it.
Get to the end of the game.
Win by four points.
And I think Cleveland and Stafansky
look at Shadour and think,
you don't have to score a lot of points.
So what you want to avoid if you're should do is negative plays,
interceptions, letting a bad team off the hook.
So I think it's going to be a super conservative game plan.
Here's Julian Edelman on what he expects.
Max Crosby can ruin a guy's day.
So anytime a young quarterback has an elite pass rusher that he knows he's going against,
I'm sure he's going to be thinking about that speeding up.
his quarterback clock process.
But I do expect him to be better than last week
because he's going to have some reps this week with the ones.
He's going to be the focal point in practice,
which usually backups aren't.
So I expect him to be mid.
So J-Mack, put it out there.
I'm going to do this.
14 of 20.
I'm going to run.
write this down. I want to keep track on this. Hold on.
Shadour Sanders. Let me think of this. 13 of
18, 139 yards,
one touchdown, one pick.
Passer rating of 82.5.
So put that down. So 13 of 18.
They're not going to throw much. Low scoring, gameplay between the 30s.
Don't let the Raiders off the hook.
139 yards.
He'll have an ugly pick.
He'll have a 12-yard touchdown to, you know,
Jerry Judy,
passer ratings in the 80s
because he doesn't throw the ball down the field a lot,
but it will be a competent performance.
And I think it's got a 23-20 feel to it either way.
So interesting.
So it looks like based on some of these prop numbers,
what are the props saying?
They don't even think Shadur is going to throw for 200 yards.
And it looks like in Joku,
who may not play, Colin.
He hasn't practiced all week.
He's their good tight end.
They do have Fanon who's pretty good.
He's the rookie.
Yeah, yeah.
He's the rookie at a bowling green.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I'm not as optimistic as you.
I think it's going to be a very cautious game.
What are the over-unders on completions?
I see yards here on,
I don't know if we could say the,
oh, pass attempts.
Let's look at pass attempts for your guy.
Shoulder.
I said 13 of 18.
What is Vegas say?
So Vegas is basically, they'll list pass attempts.
If you want to bet 28 or more pass attempts, it's minus 144.
Oh, under.
Under, 28.
Under 28.
Maybe they fall behind.
They can't stop Ashton Genty, and they're trailing 20 to 6, and they got a chuck and duck.
But you're right.
I think it's going to be a cautious game plan from Stefanski here.
I don't know.
I wanted to back Chador getting three or four.
What are the picks?
What are the over-unders-on picks?
Well, you know, listen, there's a lot of problems.
here. Interceptions. Oh, boy.
Shador.
Interceptions, one or more
minus 222. So you've got to lay a lot of money if you think he's going to throw
multiple picks. I think he's going to have, I think you have to bake in one.
One for sure. Yeah. Now, the Raider's secondary is not great. They got destroyed by
Dak Prescott. Although that Prescott's a pro bowler. Yeah.
Okay. So, okay. Can we
go back to the Cowboys for a sick? This Pickens lamb thing? So you, it sounds like
you're not, it's no big deal that these guys were boozing it up. It's not a nightclub party. It's
dinner, stakes with a teammate who's in your unit and you have a couple cocktails. Let's say they each
had three. So all of a sudden you have the reports from people at the casino that one of them was
vomiting. He's saying that's not true. Okay, we knew, no, there's cameras all over, all over
Vegas. So if there is vomiting, it probably will emerge. Here's my thing, though. You just got Pickens.
it's working great.
Pickens and Lansing to be tight now.
They're friendly.
There's no like, I need more looks.
I almost wonder if this is going to become like a bromance between these two.
And Pickens, you have to then definitely keep them.
Colin, I don't, we're looking around the league.
Is this the model paying two wide receivers a bunch of money?
Well, Dallas, remember, Dallas's O line is a work in progress.
It's really young and right now really cheap.
Okay.
And they're not paying a running back.
So running back, tight end, the reason they can do it, and they let Micah go.
And also, some of their young defensive players we saw against the Raiders when healthy are pretty good.
Now, they're paying Quinn and Williams, Dax C.D. Lamb.
You can pay Pickens, franchise tag him, a pretty reasonable number.
I will just say that Dallas's defense, when the young players are healthy,
they've not, they've got a second round kid overshone, pretty good players, pretty young.
He's good.
We like him, yeah.
And we know their first two picks in this next draft are probably a corner and an edge rusher.
So by all Dallas wanted when they moved off Micah, they wanted flexibility.
They couldn't afford Derek Henry and $8 million two years ago.
So Jerry's a dealmaker.
He's like, I've got to be flexible.
And for the record, the Cowboys are third in the league and quarterback pressures without Micah.
And that's only going to get better with Quinn and Williams.
So I think Jerry was right on this move.
I really do. Two first round picks in a draft. Seven teams are desperate for a quarterback.
Quarterback will be overdrafted. Jerry could turn those two firsts to another third, another
fourth. I don't think the Cowboys are miles away. So essentially Quinnon Williams and Pickens or
Micah Parsons. Because you're going to have to pay Quinnon. Quinn has already got money.
You got to pay Pickens a lot. He's going to get like 30 mil. I'm okay with that. Interior D-Linman,
more valuable than Edge. Rusher. Yeah.
Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin.
