This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, and on my new podcast, How Hard Can It Be?
I call on my Gen X squad from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate Midlife's most fantastic BS.
Unfiltered conversations from night sweats to futas to scheduling sex.
Wait, what sex?
Is it just me, or does every woman my age want to look at Pinterest instead of having sex sometimes?
They say we can't polish a turn, but we're sure going to try.
So let's get blunt with.
laughs, tears, or tears of laughter.
Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Gianna Maria Riva
on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano.
It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season.
And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was hungry.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis come in to you, he's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love.
This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts.
Therapy is fantastic.
But once again, it does not have a monopoly on healing.
That's why I create the resources and that's why I create the community because I really
just want you to have more access.
On the podcast, cultivating her space, Dr. Dom and Terry Lomax create a space where black women
can show up fully and be heard.
It's tough because we're suppressing our emotions and so many of us are like,
high-achieving individuals.
Listen to cultivating her space on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcast.

It's a herd here on Fox Sports Radio.
LeVar Erington.
Hi.
Jonas Knox.
In for Colin.
You can hear LeVar and I, alongside Brady Quinn,
weekday morning, 6 a.m.
Eastern time, 3 o'clock Pacific on two pros and a cup of Joe,
and I recommend it.
One pro and two cups.
But Sticks and I are going to be taking you all the way up until 3 o'clock Eastern time.
I'm noon Pacific.
You can listen live on the IHeart Radio app.
You can find us on hundreds of affiliates all across the country.
If you're listening on the podcast, we appreciate you doing so.
When LeVar and I are together and there's no Brady Quinn, we do a little show called Black and Drag.
For those wondering, I look like Dracula and LaVar.
I look like a black man.
Yeah, and it's radio.
Go figure.
Let your imagination run wild.
I don't know if that's an opinion or a fact.
And it rhymes with the word.
Black.
So when we started the show, the legal tampering period started in the NFL.
The quote, quote, legal tampering period.
We're basically everybody's been fooling around on their better halves and trying to pretend like there was no conversations going on.
I'm coming back.
There's been moves that have been made.
There's another one to report here.
And we've been getting it all today from the Tongan Tui himself, who's got the latest on
the transaction wire and the breaking news from around the NFL.
So this is an underrated one, guys.
Tide-end Isaiah likely from the Ravens heading to the Giants on a three-year deal.
I like him a lot.
I like him a lot.
I think this is a really good signing for New York.
Which is code for he helped me win a couple of games in fantasy one year.
And you've never forgotten it.
That's what that means.
I know.
He's, yeah.
And so the Giants are going to add a piece.
And it felt like Baltimore was going to probably move on from him
because didn't they give Mark Andrews a new deal last year, I think.
And then they just took on Max Crosby.
Yeah.
So, like, yeah, they got to cut costs here.
Yeah, so that's one of the many rules.
It's interesting because, you know, Isaiah likely is not, you know, he's not super old, 25 years old.
He'd be a sophomore in college now at 25.
Good pool.
That's a really good pool, yeah.
It's a really good pool.
Yeah.
But you know what?
they have Theo Johnson already there in New York,
who is a young budding superstar, in my opinion,
at the position, not because he's a Penn Stateer,
but because I actually think he's really that good.
It creates necessary depth at the position
and could add a different weapon
in terms of what you're able to do with the different packages.
You know, you may run 12.
personnel more often than what you you would have without having a talent likely being on your team
and could also provide more blocking possible blocking better blocking in terms of a double threat you got two
tight ends that you can put out there that are dual threat tight ends they can block and they can catch the
ball run routes and also familiarity with john harbaugh yeah there you go there you go and that would make
That would make some sense.
And clearly he liked him in Baltimore.
Because I think, and he kind of, Isaiah likely was one of those guys that flashed in the preseason, I think, to where there was, like, he looked really good and really talented.
Like he was going to be the next big thing.
And, you know, there just wasn't a lot of opportunities in Baltimore.
And so now he gets a deal and he goes to the Giants.
Yeah, that's been one of a flurry of moves today already.
We saw last hour, we told you Kenneth Walker is headed to the Chiefs.
big free agent deal
there actually biggest free agent deal for running back ever
Alec Pierce setting back to
Indianapolis four years
84 million guaranteed
and off of that Michael Pittman traded to the Steelers
of our Steelers
To me I feel like that's the
outside of Max Crosby
that's the biggest one
obviously
McDuffie going
out of Kansas City
and making a move
is a pretty tremendous
move as well
but I got to say
the potential of what you could have
with a healthy group of tight ends
as we just mentioned with the Giants
you know
if you get big guy coming back
off of his what was it a broken
ankle or broken arm
what was the big titan from the Steelers
oh
Parnell
Washington
Washington
Washington but what did he break
he broke something right
he broke somebody
that's who he broke
well he went out injured too though
That's a big dude.
Yeah.
I think it was a broken.
Is it Darnell,
Darnell Washington?
Yeah.
What'd I say?
Parnell.
What'd I say?
You said, you know, you say EZL.
By the way, you said Pernell.
By the way, he said Parnell and not Dave or something.
I mean, he said EZale like, you know, the guy from Friday, you know, the one that saw Smokey in the backyard taking, like what I did this morning.
Anyway, and you got Friarmooth, if he's coming back, you got a nice.
tight ends
room,
but the receiving core
was lacking.
They needed one more guy
that could open up things
for the running game
and open up things
for D.K. Metcalf.
I think this has the potential
of being the biggest move
so far it is.
Outside of again,
Max Crosby,
I think Pittman Jr.
He's still a very young,
young receiver.
Nice talent.
I would have never thought
that the Colts would just let him
go.
But I guess they made an either or situation there.
And for Pittsburgh, like you said, Tewy, I think it definitely is a move in the direction
of saying, you know, look at this, Aaron.
You have two nice targets that you could throw to at the receiver's position.
Maybe you give it one more go.
Let's see if we could do it with this.
And the Mike McCarthy angle too.
Like, their stars seem to be aligning for Aaron return to Pittsburgh.
The Jets have made some moves, right?
I think Joseph Asai was one of the moves they made.
There's been a couple of Jets moves that have been made.
Like they've been actually somewhat active here, which would beg the question for me, why?
Because they're trying to get better.
Why are you going to hate on the Jets trying to improve?
Hey, if you want to get better, go move to the CFL.
Okay?
What are we talking about here?
It's like if you're a bad person.
Like somebody starts saying, like, for instance, myself, I'll try to create some better
habits in my life, do things better.
And all you do is criticize me and give me a hard time for trying to be better.
Like, if you're a bad person, it doesn't mean you have to stay being a bad person, Jonas.
I don't understand.
Like, you can't be committed to one thing.
All that you're guaranteed is change.
I got news for you.
Jeffrey Dahmer, don't come up to me and tell me.
me you put the cart back in the front of the store
and he didn't leave it in the parking lot. The damage
has been done, pal, okay? Like, I don't
want to hear... So you can never be redeemed.
You can never redeem yourself. I don't
want to hear that you picked up a
cup that somebody left next to the trash
can and you put it in there so nobody else had to clean
it. All right, the damage is done. You're the
jets. You're awful. Okay,
we've seen it. We understand it.
We know what's happened.
Next year's going to look just like this year looked.
What do we... Come on, man.
Hey, that's an opinion, Jonas Knox.
I'm a changed man.
My dog took a crap out in front of the neighbor's house, but I cleaned it up.
Okay, you've got three bodies in the basement.
Okay, well, explain those and then tell me that all the good DG did afterwards.
You got to start somewhere.
God's saying.
You got to start somewhere.
What are they starting a guy for?
Nobody starts at Z.
You know, sometimes you got to start at the beginning of the alphabet, bro.
Like, let's work our way to the end.
imagine imagine if we put that type of evil on the Chicago Bears
what they can never be any good because they haven't been good for so long
the Chicago Bears the Hammond Bears by the way
get it correct here anybody
Hammond Indiana Bears another big move guys last hour
LeVar and I had some fun with this one Malik Willis first quarterback off the
board heading to Miami three year deal 45 million guaranteed
LeVar thinks he's uh
I think there could be
DeMario Davis just signed with the Jets too
How about it?
Why?
What are we doing?
Because it's a great market
Okay
If you're a part of the team
Look at what happened in Foxborough this year
You had all those free agents go to
To be with Mike Vrabble in New England
They signed and they made it all the way to the Super Bowl
These guys are looking at the opportunity
Aaron Glenn, for whatever reason or another, that you want to disparage him,
Aaron Glenn is a fine coach and even more of a fine human being.
And people will want to play for Aaron Glenn.
He should get out too.
I'm telling you he should get out.
They made a movie about it.
Maybe they should change it to the Jets edition.
Chapter 2, get out.
The Jets facility.
It's almost like everybody, like you kind of know what teams are doing.
like, hey, listen, we're okay if we're bad this year, you know, because we'll get the number one pick.
And it's like the Jets can't quite figure it out.
Anything.
Isn't this kind of a move, though, to bring like an older veteran just to kind of keep them afloat?
And you don't, you know, you talked about building, like looking for that quarterback next year.
I mean, this is what the Texans did with Lovie Smith.
They brought in a bunch of veterans, knowing they were going to suck.
And then they were sort of building up for that next, like that next regime, right, with D'Amico.
And wanted to get them.
They got Singles last week win against the Colts.
They got Lubby Smith fired.
Well, that was going to happen.
Davis Mills and his building neck came out there and won a game that they didn't need to win.
But they would have taken Bryce Young.
And they got C.J. Stroud.
And they got Will Anderson.
So it worked out, right?
But I think that's what the Jets are doing.
They're clearly looking at 2027 and that drop class.
And they're just kind of kind of stay afloat this year.
They don't want to stink so bad.
They want to be relevant enough.
If you stay so bad, you're risking not being back as a coach.
Guys do not get more than one season too much anymore to make a difference,
a significant difference on the team.
That has become the new norm.
And that's what's generally discussed is that these coaches are not getting three to four years
to build a team, build an environment, a culture, build things up new.
You are in a win now league in an era of time where you have to do it.
So to me, I don't, I think they're being aggressive because they're trying to win this year.
Y'all can think that this is something that's pushed far out from now if you want to.
You're bringing in Minkafitzpatrick.
You bring in the running.
Yeah, that's the other one.
They traded for Mika Fitzpatrick.
They brought in Fitton and gave up a seven draft drafts, seven brown draft people.
Listen, because they're trying to win.
They're trying to win.
If I'm looking at my division, if I'm looking at my division, the Buffalo Bills could be vulnerable.
This could be a vulnerable team.
And if I got to set my sights on the Patriots to win against the Patriots, I ain't even worrying about the dolphins.
If I got to worry about the Patriots and potentially like, okay, we got to slay the dragon with the bills and prove definitively one way or another.
another that maybe the bills have hit their ceiling.
I'm trying to add good players to my team and my roster this year so I can be competitive this year.
Not trying to bridge gap or anything until we get to 27 or 28.
I'm trying to win right now.
That's what you're seeing take place.
Listen, if you're a Jets fan or you're listening to this, you've got to find something else to do, man.
Like there's got to be something else to do.
Like go apple picking in the fall.
Like go spend your time at an orchard that doesn't have Wi-Fi.
and just forget about whatever you were born into.
That's cold-blooded, man.
Just telling you, man.
Why are you so doom and gloom on them?
Why do you hate the jets so much, bro?
I don't understand all of these moves that they're made.
If the approach was, hey, we know this is a rebuild.
We're going to, you know, it's a long-term plan.
We get it.
But it's all these half measures.
Like, it's never just to tear down to the studs.
Let's focus on the future.
We've got a plan.
It's all these half measures.
And then all the stuff that happened.
with Robert Sala.
There's been decades of evidence.
It doesn't work.
And it's not an Aaron Glenn.
This is nothing against Aaron Glenn.
I just don't know that anything's going to work there.
Look, even when you did have success,
you had a quarterback that wore pantyhose
and another coach that had a foot fetish.
Okay, even when you did have success.
So I just look at it and I go, this is a Jets problem.
And if you're a Jets fan,
you were probably looking at it going into this year.
Hey, we understand that there's a really good quarterback draft class that's happening.
We don't have the number one pick this year.
So let's just understand that we're going to have to take our licks and go forward.
And I guarantee you Jets fans are looking at all these moves that they're making going,
why?
Why are we doing this when it's just going to probably cost us a better draft pick next year?
We're going to be in the same situation.
It's probably going to cost Aaron Glenn's job anyways.
and we're going to be looking at a quarterback
and we won't end up with the best quarterback.
And even if we do, who knows we'll be able to figure that out
because we had Sam Darnold.
That didn't work and he just won a super...
I just...
It's just an underwhelming organization all the way through
and I don't know how anybody would have any optimism
that things are going to change.
I mean, good for those guys getting paid
and it is a good market, but I don't know, man.
Well, I mean, let's assume...
Let's just say Justin Fields plays 17 games this year.
how many games is they going to win?
Also, do we even know if he's going to be back?
Yeah, he's going to beat a quarterback. That's what I'm saying.
If they do bring him back, how many games is they going to win?
And I've heard...
I think you're looking for a long-term solution at the quarterback's position.
Justin Fields, in my estimation, will not be the starting quarterback for this team.
One of the rumors I heard was that Gino Smith might be an option of quarterback for the Jets.
To go back.
I mean, if I was Gino-Smith, I try out for the Winnipeg Jets.
I'm not playing in New York.
again. Why would I want to go back to that?
I mean, he's under contract for this year, but yeah,
I don't know.
And Breece Hall will be gone too, right?
But he got tagged.
Oh, they tagged.
Yeah, they did tag.
Tagged, you're it. He's looking around going,
damn it.
They will find, I don't know who they find.
It would have been interesting if they were able to get a Malik Willis to
potentially go. I mean, I think it's a horrible
situation for Malik Willis.
See, that would have been interesting, yeah.
I think it would have been a horrible situation for Malik Willis because
he would have been put in a situation where the expectation would have been far too high
for what they would have potentially been able to accomplish.
That's why I think that Miami move is perfect for Malie Willis.
It's a perfect move, all right?
Well, Halfley knows him from Green Bay, too.
But who do you bring into a New York Jets situation to be the quarterback in that scenario
after everything that has transpired?
I think that's a very, very difficult position to be in if you're to New York Jets,
and I think it's a very difficult position to be in
if you're the player that gets brought in to do it.
So you did the NFL draft coverage on Fox Sports Radio
with Joe Douglas, who seems like a good dude.
Super good dude.
One of the reports, when he got let go from the Jets,
one of the reports that came out
was that upon finding out he was out
with the New York Jets, and by the way,
Joe Douglas did a very good job drafting.
Like, he drafted some really good players there.
But upon finding out that he was let go
by the Jets, that he went to some seaside
dock and he was drinking a beer and he was
fishing off the edge of the dock.
You know what that sounded like? Peace.
Relief. Yeah, peace.
It was like Morgan Freeman finding the box at the wall
at a shawshank. Like I can get the hell out of here.
Like Joe Douglas is looking for Dufrein
polishing a boat. Like, where are you?
I got to get the hell out of here.
It has not been the easiest environment
to build in.
And I'm just curious,
again, you bring in a high energy guy,
former player. He relates to
the guys. I know people like to make jokes when he does his side line antics and his celebrations
and it ends up losing the game.
Got moves. Let me tell you something. Aaron Glenn is a players coach. People believe and
subscribe to what Aaron Glenn brings to the table. And let's see it through. I mean,
that's what this is all about, seeing things through. People would have said the same exact
thing about the Detroit Lions when Dan Campbell and those guys went and took over to Detroit
lines. They couldn't figure it out
and they had the best receiver and the best
quarterback in one of them
in the game.
And they couldn't figure out how to
get to that next level with
Matthew Stafford and Megatron.
Couldn't do it.
You bring in this guy and then they
dropped lower than that. You bring in Dan Campbell
and Dan Campbell is the same type of
coach that Aaron Glenn is.
That's why Dan Campbell brought
Aaron Glenn in with him as his
coordinator is because they have
They have very, very similar ideologies and how they approach being coaches.
So to me, you got to give it a chance.
There has to be a chance that's given to Aaron Glenn.
And I'm not saying that to you as media.
I'm saying to Woody Johnson and the people that make decisions in the building,
you've got to give these people a fair opportunity to build up what they need to build
in order to have an opportunity to win.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, me? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast. Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential.
title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam?
It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level.
we've never seen before.
And he knows.
Without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective
on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything
he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by,
like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nass would get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers, why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Oh, yeah.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is.
Getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is.
Getting a new one put up in its place.
As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War.
To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard.
Get to the grocery store. I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway.
If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job.
I'm Akila Hughes. In Rebel Spirit, Season 2 goes deep on both of those things.
The fights, the politics, the people who won, and my personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House that's actually worth the wall space.
We are more than our bodies.
We contain essence.
We contain spirit.
How do you represent that?
They are just fueling a fire that is really catching.
You'll see what I mean.
Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad,
but secretly he became someone else,
a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy.
But I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong and what that might look like?
No, I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double-weigh?
life.
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever because everything that had
existed prior in my reality is now untrue.
Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever

It's the herd on Fox Sports Radio.
LeVar Erington, Jonas Knox, in for Colin.
Coming up in about 20 minutes from now
We'll have another edition of the herd line news here on Fox Sports Radio.
We are going to tell you about more good news for some teams in the NFL.

And with that, we welcome in the man himself.
Wait, we are efforting the great T.J.
Hushmanzada who is going to be joining us here coming up momentarily.
Nice. That's exciting.
Love TJ.
Get some opinions from him. He was on site at the Combine this year as well.
Does a lot of development and training with the incoming receivers.
Quite a bit out here in California.
So it would be nice to get some words from him here, hear what he has to say about some of these
topics.
That position is taken over, man.
Receivers get paid.
If you were, like, if you were a dad and your kid really wanted to play running back,
wouldn't you just be like, hey, buddy, learn how to catch?
Learn how to catch.
If you're playing running back, absolutely.
Other positions like, you know, I think my guy is at the right position, defense
to end.
Edge rushers, edges are in pretty big demand right now as well.
So, yeah.
And now we welcome in the pro bowler himself.
T.J. Hushmanzada.
you hear him Saturdays with Lavaar Erington and Plexigo Burris on up on game here on Fox Sports Radio.
TJ, how you doing, man?
Man, I'm good. How are y'all doing?
Good, good, good to hear your voice.
Good to talk to you during the day, you know.
How's the weather? How's it going?
Sounds like it's good.
I'm pulling up to the training.
A couple clouds in the sky, but it's about 75 degrees, man.
It gets no better.
75. It does look like a good day.
TJ, we were talking about this before you came on, that the receiver position has completely taken over now.
Where back in the day, next to quarterback, running back was really the guy.
And that was, you know, so many teams based their offenses around the running back.
And now you're seeing receivers.
Michael Pittman Jr. just got traded to Pittsburgh, but they gave him a new deal upon his arrival.
Alec Pierce just got, you know, $114 million or whatever it is.
Where do you think the switch started to happen where the receiver position became one of the most
important positions and highly paid positions on the field?
It's when the emphasis went to the quarterback, really.
Receivers and quarterback, you know, we hand in hand.
We like feeding socks, you know, shoes and feet, however you want to.
They go hand in hand where if you have a good quarterback and you don't have a good receiver,
your quarterback is going to have hard times to really reach ultimate success.
You look at Josh Allen.
Before you had Stefan Diggs, it was like, ah, you.
He's very talented.
He got Stefan Diggs.
He's like, why he's an MVP candidate?
Although he won MVP without Diggs, Diggs elevated his game.
Since Diggs has left, everybody's saying, Josh Allen needs what?
A top-like receiver.
And so it just goes hand in hand.
The quarterback needs a receiver, but the receiver also needs a quarterback.
I'm happy for all these dudes, man.
The amount of money that they're making is life-changing,
it's generational type of money,
and just hope everybody can stay healthy and manage their money to correct.
white tj we saw that malik willis uh just got picked up by the miami dolphins and tua was released
for as large a didcap hit as he represented they released them seemingly to have made way
to to bring in malik willis i'm not so certain that that's what it's going to be him being the
starter uh but give me some perspective on that do you like the move like and what's next for
Tua, you know, in your estimation?
There's always going to be a spot for Tua when you're as accurate as he is.
The, I mean, the big worry with Tua is when he gets hit, is he getting up?
How is he going to react?
And that's all, I think that's just going to always be in the back of everyone's mind
because of the incidents that he's been through and they're alarming.
But if he wants to continue to play, let him play.
But that accuracy, that throwing with anticipation and time is always going to be a place for
that again, it's just going to be itself for Malik.
Willis, I actually thought he would end up with the Carolina, with the Arizona Cardinals
because of the connection of the LaFleuers.
I just felt like, oh, I'm going to let my little brother know, you've got to get him,
do everything in your power to get him.
The fact that he didn't end up with the Arizona Cardinals kind of concerns me,
but happily was his defensive coordinator in Green Bay.
He saw him every day in practice, understands his work ethic, and what he is and what he
And so this will be an interesting pairing.
I'm assuming throw the ball 20 to 25 times a game.
They're going to be run heavy.
Defensive coach, you've got a quarterback that hasn't had a lot of starts,
hasn't had a lot of past attempts.
You've got to be smart with them.
T.J. Hushmanjada is joining us here on Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Erington, Jonas Knox, in for calling here on the herd.
Let me ask you about keeping it with the wide receivers.
I know obviously you are at the Combine.
who's the best wide receiver coming out and why does he stand above the rest in this draft class?
Wow, wow, wow.
You know, so, you know, LeVar knows this.
Like, I'm biased when you ask me these questions, but I'm going to be slightly biased and unbiased at the same time.
I'm going to get you a sleeper, and people are talking about him because of what he did at the combine,
and he looked really good.
He ran fashioned and many thought it's Jacoby Lane.
and I'm biased because I've been training him
so I know he knows what to do, what not
to do, at least he will know what to do,
what to do, when, and do it, how to do it, why to do it,
type of thing.
But Cornell Tate is the best receiver.
When you look at his production,
you look at his route running,
you look at his body control,
yeah, he ran into four or five,
but that's fast enough with as long as you can separate,
people always talk about how fast you can go,
but the key is how fast can you see.
stop. Not many people talk
about that because they don't know the game. I'm giving
free game up now. People are going to start talking about it.
Keep them up. It's the art of deceleration,
not the art of acceleration.
And the sooner these people understand
that they'll understand why receiver is good and why one isn't.
But I like Carnal tape, but Jacoby Lane
at 6'5, just over 200 pounds.
With his route running ability, is quickness.
He's going to be a pleasant surprise for many.
Kansas City.
the conversation on
Saturday and I asked the question
do you feel as though
the window could be closing
on this Kansas City Chiefs team
and I'm just curious
for this audience to be able to hear
your opinion on
that matter
in particular. They
just brought in Kenneth Walker
as a new running back
I think it improves their
run game but
I don't know how high the expectations
should be with uncertainty around the health of Patrick Mahomes
or even where this Kansas City defense currently stands.
I say this with respect because of what the Chiefs have accomplished,
what and who Andy Reid is as a coach and a play caller,
doors shut, window closed.
Wow.
Because, one, Mahomes is coming off a major injury.
We don't know how he's going to react to that.
We don't even know when Mahomes is coming back.
They're losing really good players on a major injury.
the defensive side of the ball, young defensive players, not old, young.
And Trent McDuffian and Jalen Watson just signed with the Rams.
They don't have that receiver that we just spoke of earlier of who's going to change the game.
Who's going to demand respect when your game planning to stop the Chiefs?
And so I just look at it like it's really an uphill battle.
But when you have Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, the statement that I said from the get-go,
doors closed, window shut, that can always change because of those two guys.
I just feel like it's going to be extremely hard.
While the Chiefs are struggling with health and good players and retaining good players,
these other teams are getting better.
They're maturing.
That division is going to be tough.
And so I just feel like it's an uphill battle for the Kansas City Chiefs.
They had their run.
Can they do it again?
Yeah, you can never count out Pat Mahomes and Andy Reeve,
But these other teams, you've got to get them credit for what they're doing
and what they're going to do.
I believe it's curtains for the chiefs.
T.J. Housmanzada joining us here on Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Erington, Jonas Knox, and for Colin here on the herd.
Let me ask you from a receiver standpoint.
If you're in the shoes of Justin Jefferson,
you've seen what's gone on in Minnesota, the J.J. McCarthy,
or LeVar calls him 9.
I call him J.J. McCarthy.
From that experience and that experiment there,
and then you've seen what happened with Sam Darnold when he left.
Kirk Cousins is out there.
There's been some Kyler Murray conversations that are going on.
If you were a receiver in Minnesota,
what would your preference be at the quarterback position?
Oh, man.
Competition for sure.
Somebody that's going to push J.J. McCarthy to be better,
somebody that's going to force him to have to be on his P's and Q's,
every practice physically and mentally.
if you're Justin Jefferson, you just
you don't want to go through another season
that you just went through,
especially when you look at
what a lot of other teams
have done, are doing,
and we'll continue to do.
And just receivers in general, like,
when you come into the league, how Jets came into the league,
I mean, going crazy.
And then you have this type of year.
It's hard to get used to that,
and you see your peers just bawling out of control.
And so for him, if Kyla Murray is the answer, let's go.
If it's JJ McCarthy, let's go.
I just need guys to be better.
And that's frustrating, man, when you have the type of start to his career that he had,
and now it's like this.
And so I expect competition to be brought in for J.J. McCarthy.
Cream always rises to the top.
If he's what they thought he was when they drafted him, he's going to rise to the top.
Do you think Kyla Murray makes sense?
Caller Murray makes sense because he can get out the pocket.
He's accurate.
He has a good arm.
Caller Murray's only negative is he's a small guy.
Kyle Murray, I don't know Caller Murray, but I know people that have played with him.
He's just a different dude, man.
And so he's going to have to change some of his ways personally and be more of a leader,
be more of a guy that people gravitate towards.
Yeah, he's just.
just going to have to change a little bit of his, especially when you're the
quarterback. You must. It's a must.
And if he doesn't do that, he'll be out the league very soon.
Dang.
Let's keep it on quarter.
Sheesh.
Let's keep it on receivers.
Let's go to your home where you're a great in the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jamar Chase had, by all accounts, statistically, had a great year.
But it just didn't seem like it was a great year for, for,
for this team and it seemed like
there was like some heartache and some hard
gut-wrenching time. Some of the things we
heard from Joe Burrow and not being happy
and where they're at with things
you more
than anybody would know
what the pulse is
in Cincinnati. What
should be the approach? How
should we be looking at this
Bengals team this year?
Man, we better be better.
We better get some guys on
defense that can stop somebody.
like have some pride.
Like that just, that boggles my mind that we are all professionals
and we don't have pride in what we do day in, day out on a consistent basis.
Like, nobody should be that bad defensively.
Nobody, nobody.
If you have pride and you're a true professional,
nobody should be that bad defensively where you can't stop somebody from just going
up and down the field all game long.
Jamar had a good year, but when you're losing, nobody has a good year.
And so that's how it works.
Like, you know, I've seen Joe at the Super Bowl talk to him, frustrated,
and I just hope we can put a team around him because there's only so much that somebody can take.
I believe he's going to get a Bengals two more years.
And if things don't change, and I think we will start to see a different Joe Burrow,
because guys want greatness.
They want to achieve greatness.
They want to reach the pinnacle.
and we may not reach it every year, but just give me an opportunity to read a real opportunity.
And so I'm hoping that we can draft some guys and get some guys in free agency defensively
that can help accomplish that goal.
T.J. Hushmanzada, you hear him Saturdays with Lovar Erington and Plexiggo Burris on

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news.
What's the news?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast.
called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going to be.
down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say,
Hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app,

What's up, fam, Isaiah Thomas?
And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about Define the Odds.
like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything.
everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nass would get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers,
why he got the ball, like,
after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah,
you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court,
and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War.
To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard.
Get to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway.
If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job.
I'm Akila Hughes.
in Rebel Spirit Season 2 goes deep on both of those things.
The fights, the politics, the people who won,
and my personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House
that's actually worth the wall space.
We are more than our bodies.
We contain essence.
We contain spirit.
How do you represent that?
They are just fueling a fire that is really catching.
You'll see what I mean.

Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad,
but secretly he became someone else,
a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy,
but I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong
and what that might look like?
No.
I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad
has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever
because everything that had existed prior in my reality
is now untrue.
Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man.
the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
It's a herd on Fox Sports Radio.
Levire Arrington, Jonas Knox, in for Colin.
Coming up, top of the next hour, a little over 15 minutes from now.
We've got more from the legal tampering period in the NFL.
We got moves.
Teams trying to compete for playoffs next year.
Teams trying to make the impression that they actually care about winning next year.
All sorts of fun stuff.
Quarterbacks, receivers, defensive guys.
I've seen some kickers and punters go off the board.
I think Nick Folk just got a deal as well, too.
So we will have more on the latest from the tampering period in the NFL coming up top of next hour.
But right now, it's time for the return of Tongan Tui.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
All right, Greg.
What a time to be alive right now, guys.
We got NFL free agency, we got WBC, we got Turney Week.
in college hoops, we got NBA.
Like, this is a great time of year.
Let's start it off in Kansas City.
We told you last hour, Kenneth Walker
is going to the Chief from Seattle,
three-year deal.
This is a massive, massive move for the Chiefs.
But another move that happened today in Kansas City,
Travis Kelsey is expected to return
next season for the Chiefs.
Looks like it's going to be a one-year deal.
Does that include Walker and wheelchair
here and automatic
automatic lift up the stairs
I thought you were saying Walker
because of Kenneth
Oh
Good one
I'm thinking like a walk through
I just I just could not
I don't think I could mentally
prepare myself to see Taylor Swift
anywhere else in Kansas City
Right
I just couldn't do it
But here was T.J. Hushmanzano
just a bit ago on the Chiefs
Outlook this season
I say this with respect
because of what the Chiefs have accomplished
what and who Andy Reed
is as a coach and a play caller
doors shut, window closed
because, one,
Mahomes is coming off a major injury.
We don't know how he's going to react to that.
We don't even know when Mahomes is coming back.
They're losing really good players on the defensive side of the ball,
young defensive players, not old, young.
And Trent McDuffian and Jalen Watson just signed with the Rams.
They don't have that receiver that we just spoke up earlier of
who's going to change the game,
who's going to demand respect when your game planning the start.
the Chief.
I mean, look,
it probably is close.
If we're being honest,
the window probably is close
for the Kansas City Chiefs
because what the Patriots did,
we're never going to see again
to where the dynasty ended,
they went 10 years before winning another Super Bowl,
and then they won three more.
We're probably never, ever going to see that again
because 10 years from now,
what's Patrick Mahleram's going to be?
40?
What's Andy Reid doing 10 years from now?
What are he in there?
Damn.
What?
I hope he's still coaching.
Yeah, I do too.
You're still being coaching in 10 years?
I hope he is.
I also'm not surprised
that Kelsey's back.
I know that they wanted to make a big
to-do of the fact that on Christmas night
he was walking off the field and he was saying
goodbye to everybody and all that.
But I think that he probably...
I guess he could be coaching at 77.
He came out of this year and
he wasn't beat up.
He's still produced.
He was their best.
receiver last year.
And I think that he wanted to end
his time in Kansas City with Patrick
Mahomes. And instead it was, you know,
was it Chris Ola Dukin, was the
quarterback on the field there? I just,
it made sense to me, and the more that
you heard him talk about, the excitement, the
Eric B. Enemy was back. He was excited to
have Eric Bianami back. The more that he talked
about it, the more that it felt
like he was probably going to return. That's wonderful.
Well, I was going to tell you, I'll tell you real quick.
We have another, we do have another big signing, but I'll tell you real quick,
under the radar this morning, this happened really early.
We're Sean Gary traded to the Cowboys from the Packers.
What a slap in the face.
Damn.
If I'm a Dallas fan, I'm offended.
If I'm a Green Bay Packers fan, it's just kind of, I don't know how you feel.
But, man, you're going to just give away your best pass rusher and then bring in the former
best pass rusher of the team you sent your best pass rusher, too.
Okay, yeah, we gave you our best pass rusher, but just the season removed,
we came and took what your best pass rusher was before we gave you our best pass rush.
Yeah, it took a little while.
They got it, right?
That's fine.
That's something like real, like, messed up love triangle type stuff going on.
Right.
I don't want any parts of that.
Yeah.
What are you doing, Joneses?
What are you doing?
So this guys, this just came down.
We got to give our old linemen some love.
We can't forget about our old linemen.
You can't.
Ravens Free Agent Center, Tyler Linderbaum.
No.
Okay?
No.
To the Raiders.
Oh.
Three years, $81 million deal, $81 million deal, $60 million guaranteed makes them the highest paid interior offensive alignment in the NFL, according to Adam Shepter.
Biggest loss of the free agent period already.
And I won't even suspect to think that it gets any closer.
than where we are now.
This is the biggest loss, period.
The Ravens you lost, you messed up on this one.
It also, look, I was surprised they didn't tag him.
That is horrible.
We talked about it on Friday.
There was reports that they had offered him 20 million a year,
and he had turned it down, and they didn't tag him.
And so this felt like this was probably where this was headed.
And so now they're going to go back and try and figure out the center position.
But if you're the Raiders, you just,
You just added probably the best free agent on the market.
You did.
You did.
But reference the Raiders the exact same way you referenced the Jets.
Do not.
Do not say anything positive.
If you aren't going to say anything positive about the Jets.
You better handle the Raiders this same exact way.
The good news for Tyler Linderbaum is the fact that it's only a three-year deal.
So he's only going to be stuck there at most three years.
He can get out.
And he's going to hit the market again at 28 years old because he's only 25.
So he's going to be able to hit the market there.
You know, but it is good that, you know, if they're going to draft for an Anno Mendoza.
Absolutely.
That, you know, you've got a center.
Oh, that's right.
They want to add a veteran because they want the veteran to play this next year and not the guy they're drafting number 101.
Yeah, that's that's, that's, that's a cap.
That's what I understand.
That's cat.
Yeah.
But that's a loss for Baltimore, man.
That's a tremendous loss.
That's the biggest L of the offseason.
That's an L.
Big old L.
Big old fat, juicy, vainy L.
Bad.
Bad L.
Yeah, I'm glad you're all happy.
Raiders fans enjoy that.
You still got a long way to go.
But he gives me that Linderball
is going to be sitting watching the Blue Man group
with a drink going, why did I pick here?
How did I do it?
There are so many other places I could have gone.
I'm stuck here.
Looking at this.
Look at all the lights.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers.
