Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Big steak sandwich last night.
Watching Monday night football,
little World Series off the side.
Very nice.
Tonight, college football night.
Check out the rankings.
I'll say it again.
Michigan, Texas, Georgia, Oregon are the four best teams I've seen.
I will go this weekend and watch Washington again for the second time.
My radar, very perceptive on college football.
But I saw Oregon again.
I think they're one of the four best teams.
You didn't watch the best player in the NBA last night?
Luca Donchitz, triple-double.
You weren't watching?
How'd they do?
How do you think?
They won.
Kyrie Irving didn't play.
Why didn't he play?
I don't know, an ankle, a foot, whatever it was, you know.
Halloween tonight, and now where J-MAC lives is very pro-Hawloin.
Let's just- It's a lot of fun.
It's a lot of fun.
I may just roam the streets looking for you and the kids.
Should I be in costume?
Are you in costume tonight?
I mean, you know, I grew the mustache for a reason.
If you follow me on the gram and you still don't, you don't know what my costume was for our big Halloween parties over the weekend.
Okay.
All right, here we go.
Top 10 teams in the NFL.
heard hierarchy
heard hierarchy
time is now let's go
the top 10 NFL teams according to
college
number 10 Miami don't trust the defense
O line is shaky but they lead the
NFL in all major offensive categories
last 18 home games
Tua's 116
and listen Tua completes the passes
coachable this year he hasn't
been hurt I do think the O line's
a concern and I'm not sure if this
team's going to be any good in December
in January if they're built for it.
But right now, even though they have flaws, unlike Buffalo, I kind of know what I get
every weekend when I watch them play.
They're consistent.
Their offensive line is consistently average, but I got Miami at 10.
Number nine.
Seattle.
I like everything, but have questions about Gino Smith.
Listen, their defense is getting to the quarterback, and I like the move the GM John
Snyder made yesterday.
They went and got Leonard Williams.
The defense has already top four in sack.
Leonard's a baller.
And here's the other thing.
They're running the ball for over 100 yards.
That is so Pete Carroll for the last five games.
They've held opponents under 24 the last five games.
So it's power running, good defense at a defensive lineman.
It speaks to who Pete Carroll is.
I have the Seahawks at 9.
Number 8.
Dallas, they're a better version of Buffalo.
I don't know what I get week to week,
but their good Dallas team is really good.
Their defense leads the NFL with four defensive touchdowns,
and Trayvon Diggs has been out a while.
Six of their seven games this year that they've won have been decided by 10 plus points.
They are Buffalo.
That's what they are.
You don't know what you're going to get, but they are more consistent than Buffalo.
They just got dog by San Francisco.
Won't be the last team.
Here's the other thing.
11th straight home win.
Dallas, they put a fence around it.
Dak and Dallas at home is favorites when it was my second favorite bet this week.
They took care of business with the Rams, Cowboys at 8.
Number seven. San Francisco
crushed them and is a better overall
team. Don't get too caught up on Brock
Purdy. If they could kick field
goals, they would have beaten Cleveland.
Without the concussion, they could have beaten Minnesota.
So what? They lost the Joe Burrough.
After Mahomes, he's the best quarterback on the
planet. Now, Brock Purdy has gotten
into turnovers. Of course he has.
Because he's good, not very good. He's not great.
Burrow doesn't turn it over. Mahomes usually doesn't.
That's because they're great.
They're stars. So this is a good
team, if they could hit field goals, it'd be a two-game losing streak.
Last year they muddled around for a while. I have San Francisco at seven.
Number six. I really like Detroit. Last night, they just completely dominated that game.
I wouldn't trust them in the playoffs, but they're the number two total offense, second best
record in the NFC, have at least one touchdown of 20 plus yards in each of their last seven
games. So I get some real big play potential with Detroit. They showed that last.
night they'll get to the quarterback you can't run on Detroit you can't run on this
team forcing you to pass so if Detroit's high-powered offense takes a lead and
you're playing from behind asked Jimmy Garoppolo not a lot of time to throw I have
Detroit at six number five Jacksonville maybe a bit low still don't trust them
against the team like the Chiefs or maybe Joe Burrow five-game winning streak
Trevor Lawrence now for the last five games pass-er rating over a hundred ATN
They got running backs who can catch.
They got past catchers who can run.
I like Doug Peterson.
They've held opponents down.
20 points or fewer in four of the last five games.
I think Jacksonville's good.
I predicted they would be the number one seat in the AFC.
They won overseas a couple of times.
They've won on the road.
That was Pittsburgh weather.
They went into Pittsburgh and won in their place with their weather as a Florida team.
Jacksonville at 5.
Number four.
But I think they'd lose to Kansas City.
I don't like Kansas City right now offensively.
I think they're going to be fine in about six weeks,
but they're dropping too many passes.
They're very Travis Kelsey in the red zone dependent.
I've been saying this for weeks.
They're just not hitting.
Now, they're young defensively.
They'll get bolton back.
Their receivers will get better, and they will be fine.
I would love if they make a bigger trade deadline move
for a Chris Godwin at Tampa.
Don't think they will.
This is a team that's young in spots,
and I think will be better.
But right now, they go play Miami overseas.
and usually I'd be like W.
I'm not so sure.
That's why I have them at 4.
Number 3.
I've been on Cincinnati for a month.
They're really good.
They're really good.
Joe Burrow has been outstanding.
118 passer rating last three weeks.
I get stars, a star quarterback, an offensive coach, a consistent pass rush,
a very active team that can beat you several ways.
They're also taking the ball away, which they did October, November, December last year.
This is a bad September team.
But October 10th on, last three years, their money baby, Cincinnati at 3.
Number two.
Philadelphia is not even playing great games.
They have great quarters, great series, and great halves, but they have the best record at 7 and 1.
They're averaging 300 yards plus offensively.
A.J. Brown, now uncoverable.
So you get all the physicality, all the strength, all the toughness, and their receiver on the perimeter, you can't guard him.
plus their tight ends.
So I just think line play, perimeter excellence, risk takers may make a move today, Philadelphia
at 2.
Number one.
Said it three weeks ago, I'll say it again, Baltimore is the most complete team.
Receivers, power, run, defense, sacks, coaching, everything works.
They're just more explosive right now than Kansas City's offense with as good a defense.
So I don't know how they stack up later, but they have a surplus of fast guys.
We predicted they'd be the fastest team in the league.
And Odell Beckham's not happy.
He's not getting the ball enough.
They are a pleasure to watch.
Lamar's always been better in the pocket that people will admit.
So I always tell you, my final four teams to me feel like real Super Bowl teams.
Baltimore, Philly, Cincinnati, and Kansas City, still think Kansas City, if they play the Jags in six weeks, would win, barely but win.
we'll find out a lot about the Chiefs
and that offense as they face Miami
and are going to have to score.
Thoughts real quickly?
The Buffalo bills smash the dolphins by a lot.
They should be in at 10.
And also, if you had the bills in,
you would have three matchups this weekend of top 10 teams.
This weekend's crazy.
Dallas is a better version of Buffalo.
I don't know what I get week to week,
but Dallas generally,
by the way,
DAC and C.D. Lamb now
is really elite.
It ain't Burroughed Jamar Chase.
It's not Mahomes Kelsey.
But Dak and C.D. Lamb, he completes 81% of his throws to him.
Who do you trust more in the playoffs, Dak or Josh Allen?
End of story.
Okay.
Well, is it October or is it January?
In January, he'll have a different ranking.
Ah, okay.
Got to.
All right, Nick Wright, he always joins us a lot of times very, he's not cryptic.
He'll tell me if he doesn't like it.
So let me guess.
You don't like where I put the Chiefs.
No, it's fine for now.
They just had a terrible loss.
It's fine.
I mean, it's a little curious that looking at the herd hierarchy,
if the playoffs started today, the team that would be the one seed,
the chiefs earned fourth, and a team that would not make the playoffs,
and in fact, even if you expanded it to eight teams, would not be in because the Jets would be in ahead of them,
the Bengals are in third.
That strikes me as a little curious, but aside from that, it's solid.
You and I are the only people outside of Duval County that believe in the Jacksonville Jaguars,
so I like that.
But I've got, because here's the thing, you have been adamant, you know, whether you will admit it
or not, that you will not put the chiefs at the top of a herd hierarchy all year long until they went.
So I, and this week they lose to Denver and your beloved Russell Wilson and Sean Peyton,
so I get it.
Today is not the day to Crone.
In fact, because of that, I'm even wearing Broncos colors
so they can celebrate the best moment the franchise has had in nearly a decade,
the win over the Chiefs, to get to three and five.
Here's what I would propose to you, Colin Cowherd.
And I'm putting you on the spot here.
Okay.
But this weekend, the Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins.
Yes.
Then they have a buy.
Then on a Monday night, they play the Philadelphia Eagles.
When the Chiefs win both of those games
and get to eight and two.
I want two things.
One, I want that Tuesday
for the Chiefs to be atop the herd hierarchy,
and more importantly, I want that Tuesday
for the first time in the six and a half years of my show,
for on that Tuesday,
instead of me joining you,
you join us just for a moment,
just for a second, to come on the show,
maybe right around the top
when we're talking about the Chiefs,
being the Eagles and say, you know what?
The Chiefs of the best team in the league,
Nick's been telling me all year.
That's what I would ask.
If they do that, can you do that?
Yeah, sure.
Why not?
That day I'm not very busy.
Okay.
There you go.
Two weeks, that would be, so three weeks from today,
America, set your calendars.
Colin will be joining us around 315 Eastern time.
All right, go ahead, as you will.
And I'll be the most affordable prop you've ever had on the show,
by the way, because I'm on the company.
Oh, also, by the way, Colin?
also, well, affordable, but try to wear a tie.
We wear jackets and ties to our show, so try to, you know what I mean,
class it up a bit.
Okay, let's go here, though, because I think the Denver thing is they were bound to lose a
divisional game, and divisional games are always weird, and the weather was bad, and
Mahomes is.
But I do, there is something about this team that Mahalms, and I saw Brady do this at the end
in New England, really get frustrated with his teammates, and that's not really who
Tom is. He'd get frustrated with his coaches.
But when Mahomes is looking
at his coaches and doing this, and it's
like, yeah, he should. Skymore
drop one. Rice drop one.
Like this receiving core, it's
just not special in the AFC.
I mean, aren't you
concerned going against Waddle and
Tyreek Hill that if it's a track meet,
you can't keep up?
Well, I don't think it'll be a
track meet because I think the chiefs
have an elite defense. And I
I'll tell you what I'm confused
by. I'm confused by the chiefs telling the entire world what they were doing and then folks just
refusing to accept it because in their mind's eye the chiefs are supposed to be something else.
The chiefs traded away Tyree Kill for draft picks. They used those draft picks on defensive
players. They now have a worse offense and a far better defense. And everyone seems to be saying,
what the hell happened. We know what happened. Tyreekill was on the cheaps. They traded him.
With a wide receiving corps, very similar to this one last year, they won the Super Bowl.
Now, what I will tell you is this. What I think they need to do, I don't think they need to add to
their wide receiver room, Colin. I think they need to subtract from the wide receiver room in this
regard. They have been doing a six and seven wide receiver rotation. I don't think that is
going to work anymore.
Listen, you can't hit on every draft pick.
Skymore looks like a missed pick.
Rishie Rice, I think, looks like
a really good pick.
So I think you need to go
into starting with this
game against the Dolphins with a
typical wide receiver group
where you know who your top
three are. It will be Rishi Rice.
It will be MBS who was there last year.
And the guy who I like a lot,
Justin Watson, who dislocated his elbow,
but he's back, with some
Cadarius Tony mixed in.
None of these guys are getting in a rhythm
because everyone is trying to
get snaps and you added McColl
Hardman. So listen, the Skymore
thing doesn't appear to have worked out. I think
Rishie Rice can be good. I think the chiefs
are going to go to Germany and beat the dolphins
and all will be right in the world.
Okay, listen, I have no problem
with fans overreacting, but I had
said earlier if San Francisco could
hit reasonable field goals,
they'd be on a two-game losing streak.
And we also found out that Joe Burroughs
better than Brock Purdy. What Joe Burrow did to the Niners defense is what Mahomes did last year
to the Niners defense. Like, nobody stops those guys when they're on. Ask Kansas City. When
Jaylen Hertz is on, it's hard. When Josh Allen's on, it's hard with Lamar's on. So I don't,
I don't, I'm not, I always said, Purdy makes too many good throws, not to be considered good.
I'm not saying very good, especially good. He's not great. Do you think it's time to move off him?
Where are you on Purdy?
Well, no, I don't think it's time to move off him, but I think that he has a very real possibility
of becoming the first player in league history to within the same season have the talk show topics be,
is he the league MVP, turn to should he be benched for Sam Darnold?
I do think that train might be coming down the tracks if after the buy they lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars,
which is very on the board.
here the purdy thing has been so frustrating for me because we are seeing Jimmy Garoppolo
once they got Christian McCaffrey had 10 touchdowns one pick they only lost one game it was to the
chiefs and he had a one 10 passer rating and then he got hurt and was done and now Jimmy Garapolo
statistically is one of the very worst quarterbacks in football despite having Devante
Adams despite having Josh Jacobs despite having
despite having Hunter Renfro.
It's almost like he was being propped up
by what was going on in San Francisco.
And then he gets replaced by Brock Purdy,
and instead of folks admitting,
it's the scheme, it's the talent around him,
it's all of that.
People try to convince themselves Brock Purdy was great.
And folks have now started saying, Nick,
so Purdy's not allowed a few bad games,
he's not allowed to throw picks,
Patrick Mahomes throws picks,
Josh Allen throws picks.
And the answer to that question
is you are right.
He is not allowed that because
Purdy's entire thing
was that he doesn't make mistakes.
It was that, hey, yes,
we know he can't make all the throws.
We know he's not a great athlete.
We know he doesn't wow you with his arm.
But the folks who couldn't figure out
what he was really good at
tried to convince themselves.
They're like, oh, it's his processing.
It's his decision making.
Things you can't actually prove,
which really just meant he doesn't make mistakes.
and then riddle me that all of a sudden he has to play from behind for the first time in his career
and three straight second halves, he's brutal.
Three straight games, he either can't move the ball at all in the second half or makes critical errors.
And so right now he is the weak link on the San Francisco 49ers.
And so do I think he should be benched right now?
No, of course not.
Do I think that is going to be a real conversation a month from now?
Yes, I do.
All right.
I got to ask you, my take on the Sixers and the Clippers trade was most GMs, if you gave them great draft picks, pick swaps, expiring contracts, and better chemistry would consider it a win.
So I think Philadelphia this morning feels like now and future good space, cap space big with expiring contracts.
The Clippers just got weirder.
I went to the internet this morning.
Everybody loves what the clippers got.
And I'm, oh, they didn't give up Terrence Mann.
All right, there's your mini win.
But Westbrook, Kauai, Hardin.
I look at this and I'm like,
I think Steve Ballmer's opening an arena,
just like James Dolan opened the sphere with you two.
I think he's opening an arena and he wants more star power.
I don't know how the clippers.
I mean, to me, Philadelphia upgraded multiple ways.
I, a thousand percent agree with you, Colin.
I got to tell you, man, if you didn't have a blind spot for the defending Super Bowl champion chiefs,
your takes would just be on fire this year.
I mean, I think you nailed this.
So first of all, and this could be interesting to do later in the show, I'm going to do it on first things first.
Put next to each other what the Blazers got when they traded Drew Holiday to Boston.
They got two firsts, Robert Williams and Malcolm Brogden.
and what the Sixers just got for James Harden,
who had quit on his third team, and only one team wanted them.
They got two firsts and a swap, more valuable first, by the way,
and players not as good as Robert Williams and Malcolm Brogden,
but also not as injury-prone or on long-term contracts than what Robert Williams is.
So I think the Sixers just got more for Hardin than the Blazers got for Drew Holiday,
you know, when they kind of routed him to Boston after the Millwall,
Milwaukee trade. I also think that for Philly, this is, they now have very, the Clippers
unprotected 2028 pick and the pick swap in 2029 are wildly valuable pieces that they will use,
I believe probably, to get a guy you, you know, I don't think you'll be a big fan of in Zach
Levine, your buddy Chris Manix brought up OG and Anobi. He would be possible. I, and so they are
going to make another move with those assets down the road. The Clippers, on the other hand,
they have, for 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29. That's six years of drafts columns. They do not have
their own first. They do not have their own second. I've never seen anything like it. And
Kauai, Paul George, Russ, and Hardin, all four of them are either free agents or have the ability
to be the free agent
after this
season. So yes, the reason
Hardin wanted to go there
was because they can pay him
and if Kauai and Paul George
leave, of course Balmer will
pay him so someone is there
for the arena. But do I think this
is going to work? No.
Hardin and Ross played together
for one year in Houston post-OKC
and it was, they both
enjoyed it so much. They both
demanded trades after. It was like,
That was so awful. We both got to get the hell out of here.
Kauai and Paul George are health risks.
I agree with you entirely that this is a, the Clippers continuing to just pretend like the
championship window is wide open and mortgaging the entire future is baffling.
And OKC's got to be happy because they have those picks.
And right now Philly has their picks later in the decade.
Yeah.
I mean, I just, I looked at it this morning.
And I understand it's a star league and whoever gets the star,
everybody. But folks, at some
point, every GM in the league is looking for
draft picks, pick swaps, expiring
contracts, and better chemistry.
That's like the, yeah,
that's perfect for every GM in the league. Can I just add
something to it real quick?
I don't, I think the clippers
typically are, like, I don't like
a lot of their moves, but I think
smart people run the organization. I don't
under, they could have gotten this deal
done a week ago
with one fewer
first round pick if they would
have included Terrence Mann.
And they, so the Clippers value
Terrence Mann more than
a future first. Terrence Mann
is 27 years
old and career eight
points per game. He's not some
young prospect. He's
27. So I just,
I don't understand what they're doing
and I think that they are,
you know, they are a fringe
Western Conference playoff
team that is operating like they're
a fringe champion and they're
nothing close to it.
Nick Wright.
Nick Wright.
Good stuff today.
He's a little nervous.
Kansas City going overseas against Miami.
They're the one seed.
Could go either way.
I'm not nervous at all.
I mean, can I borrow your jet to go to the game?
Show how unnervious I am.
I'll see you on first things first.
Three weeks from today.
Mark your calendar.
See you guys.
All right.
With a tie.
Okay.
Yeah.
So I understand the NBA is a star league.
So whoever gets the star, but I mean,
Harden, way out of the best years.
His assists have gone up, not as trustable,
never been in great shape.
It's just sometimes you can say stuff out loud.
Kauai, Harden, Westbrook, Clippers.
It's like, it's just going to be a, you know,
it's going to be a barnyard musical.
It's going to be crazy and wacky and wild and fun and people pay attention.
And everybody loves stars in the NBA.
But in the end, that's not a winning culture.
That's not a winning group of players.
Hey, real quick, you mentioned Chiefs Dolphins.
Do you want to guess what the line is on this one, Colin?
Chiefs Dolphins.
I would say, Chiefs Dolphins.
Kansas City favored by two.
Interesting.
It was two and a half, almost everywhere.
It's now two at one of the sharpest books that takes the biggest bets in Las Vegas.
So money coming in on the dolphins.
Patrick Mahomes under a field goal.
I think a lot of people are freaking out here.
Oh, Chiefs, lots of the Broncos are not that good.
O-line and defense.
Miami's offensive line is decimated.
O-line and defense and quarterback.
Major chief advantages.
I would take Kansas City to win.
One more herd?

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do a little kill?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
so I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
It is Halloween. Be safe out there.
enjoy one of the more festive Tuesdays in recent memory.
J-Mac with the news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
All right, let's do this James Hardin thing, Colin.
So Hardin got shipped to the paper clips.
He's been wanting to go there for a long time.
I'm not going to go over all the players in the trade.
A bunch of guys who kind of sort of don't matter.
We can explain it in depth.
Basically, the Sixers got a lot of expiring contracts in this trade, which has some value.
The Clippers get P.J. Tucker, I think he's a good get.
Colin, that's a guy who's defended Yokic pretty well.
They probably will run into Yokic in the playoffs, assuming they go that far.
There's a chance Harden attends tonight's game against the Orlando Magic.
Orlando on a back-to-back after facing the Lakers last night.
Colin, listen, I'm not, I don't want to act like I'm bagging on Darry here.
But the only, I mean, he got back into a corner here, and it feels like he did this deal, and the win for him is hope.
Hey, Joel, and B, we've got a bunch of expiring contracts.
We can do something at the deadline.
Don't be unhappy.
Oh, and Joel, we've got future draft picks.
Like, just remain calm.
Okay, let me ask you this.
I don't, are they better?
Are the Sixers better today than they were yesterday?
Well, chemistry upgrade, yes.
And they also got guys like Covington.
They got role players who do some things well.
So let me ask you, in the NBA Stars Matter, Clippers, Sixers roster, who's the best player?
Clippers.
No, I have Embeded.
Kauai Leonard or Embedd?
I know Embedd's the reigning MVP and Kauai's always hurt, but...
Embed's better player.
He's never been to the conference finals.
He doesn't make anyone better.
He doesn't make anyone better.
That's also true.
Okay.
So I have the best player.
Who is the best cheapest ascending star?
Okay.
Maxi.
Yes.
Who is always a best.
available and a very reliable, low-maintenance, low-ego, third guy.
Low-energy guy?
Tobias Harris.
Yeah, that's him.
Who's got draft picks and cap space by the trade deadline?
You love this deal, huh?
Yes.
Bottom line is Philadelphia's got the best player, the cheapest best ascending star,
a low-maintenance three, and cap-space at the deadline.
All right, let's forget comparing to the Clippers.
Are they getting to the conference finals this year for the first time in Joel's career?
If they can beat Milwaukee, they've got a shot.
I think right now, Boston's head and shoulders, Milwaukee second,
by getting this out and giving me the opportunity to make some moves at the deadline,
Philadelphia is now in third.
And I've not been a Philadelphia fan for years because all the goofiness and Simmons and Hardin.
That's how.
I get Embed, Maxie.
I got a room full of grown-off.
Okay, fine.
Milwaukee against Philadelphia.
Best player, Janice, obviously.
No, no, no.
That's probably Milwaukee wins that.
But I'm saying I like Philadelphia more today.
I think the clippers will be beloved by all the fanboys, and they'll have moments.
That thing's not going to work.
The Yahoo guys on the Internet seem to love this trade for Moore.
He's got 2008 first round pick and 29 unprotected.
Like, Daryl, this idea of like, oh, I'm going to cuddle with my draft picks every night and just hug them because they're five years, six years away.
Like, that's just nonsense.
Mori's not even to be the GM of the team in six years.
That seems harsh.
All I know is I have the best player, the ascending best player,
and I can make a huge move at the trade deadline.
Clippers King.
Trade deadline matters in this group.
Like, someone mapped out the scenario.
Clippers go small ball, okay?
Hardin, PG, Kauai, the Terence Man, and Tucker with Tucker guarding Yokic.
That's a major problem for the Denver Nuggets.
I mean, right now, again, I'm not the biggest hardened guy.
They're better than the Clippers than the Golden State Warriors right now.
Oh, give me a break.
If everyone's healthy, they definitely are.
I get Curry, Chris Paul, Drayman Clay, Steve Kerr, and you get Crazy Town.
And you like the Clippers better than the Warriors.
Well, I don't like.
I think they were better than the Warriors.
But I'm a Curry guy, so obviously.
Next up, let's go to the Raiders.
Boy, talk about garbage.
Oh, my gosh.
This offense was a complete joke.
Jimmy G completed 10 passes.
He was bad. Ten passes at a game college.
That red zone interception was just humorous.
Here he is overthrowing a touchdown to Devante Adams.
He had two basic bombs to Devante that he just missed.
If not for that pick six by golf, I mean, this is just a bloodbath.
So Josh McDaniel somehow is keeping it together after the loss.
It was more of a game of missed opportunities for us.
You know, really couldn't make any plays in a passing game.
You know, couldn't.
I don't think we, you know, I don't think we protected very well on third down
and couldn't stay on the field.
So eventually, you know, they ended up having the ball, obviously, way more than we did,
and then kind of turned into the running game and wore us down there.
So, you know, not good enough.
You know, we're going to have to be able to pass the ball here better than what we're doing in order to win.
Sean Payton said that about Denver a few weeks ago, and you know what Sean Payton did?
We're just going to pass it less, and now Denver's fine.
So Sean Payton said those exact same things.
We've got to pass it better.
No, what the answer is, you have to pass it fewer times.
Garoppolo throws 22 times he's fine.
And so just run the ball better.
Why aren't the Raiders running the ball better?
Well, they can't.
Josh Jacobs looks like he's eating his way out of the rotation here.
It's just not looking good.
Colin, by the way, Garapolo?
Our staff put this together.
He leaves the NFL with nine picks.
And it's on like a hundred and change fewer.
Look at the attempts.
Way fewer than any other quarterback.
And he leaves the league in interceptions.
By the way, Mahomes on that list is trending toward his highest interception season ever.
That's another story.
Let me throw this at you.
Jimmy Garapolo is too good-looking to be single and rich in Vegas, and he's distracted.
I'm seriously.
What happened to the idea of joining forces with Josh McDeiros who he knew in New England?
It should work.
It's not working.
I don't know, man.
I liked Garapolo.
Like, how can you look so good in Kyle Shanahan and get to a Super Bowl and then look so bad?
I'll tell you.
Single good-looking Vegas.
I think he's distracted.
It's my theory.
Inside info or you're just guessing?
I'm guessing.
You spent some time in Vegas, right?
Seven years.
Is it a distractible city?
I was in my early 20s.
I wasn't good looking or rich, but I had a good time.
Final story.
One of the biggest games of week nine,
dolphins and chiefs in Germany.
Now, when the teams go to Europe, everybody looks at who leaves when.
I get a wake up.
6.30 Pacific time, you wake up to this.
By the way, somebody tried to tell me daylight savings time is coming up.
Is that accurate?
Producers, anybody?
I don't know.
I hate daylight savings time.
But anyways, the dolphins have left for Germany.
Kansas City has not.
I saw one report they're leaving today, maybe tomorrow.
This is the first time Tyreek Hill has faced his former team since being traded.
Here's what he said about the matchup.
Oh, I'm ready, man.
It's just another game.
Like I say, I'm just excited, man, to play against my old brothers.
It's just like if you're in high school and you move to a different city.
You know what I'm saying?
It's still ball.
At the end of the day, my job is to go out there and do what I've been doing all year.
And that's have fun, help lead this team and create opportunities for whoever.
So I'm still going to be the same old cheetah, baby.
Did you see the breaking news?
I did not.
Do you have another story?
Do we have another story?
No, no, that was it.
What did we got?
All right, let's do Hurdline News.
Well, that's the news.
I'm excited.
I don't know what's going on.
The Hurdline News.
What 30 minutes ago, what was the trade I suggested for the Minnesota Vikings?
Josh Dobbs, it just happened.
Tom Pellasaro, Uncle Colin out here making deals on the set.
So I like it for Minnesota.
And I don't know what Arizona got in return.
I'd love to get one of those lower and wide receivers, maybe an offensive lineman.
So they made the move.
We thought Minnesota's take is in the NFC.
Green Bay's done.
We just beat them in Lambo.
Chicago's going nowhere.
We're not as good as Detroit, but we think we can be feisty.
So they get a very smart, well-traveled veteran, Josh Dobbs, really a brilliant kid.
And so the Cardinals, they're all in tankeruny mode.
Kyler Murray's coming back.
So Kyler's going to be ready to play here in about a week.
They won't play him against Cleveland, but they'll play Kyler Murray in about a week.
So they got their guy.
They're moving Josh Dobbs, who's a really smart kid.
We'll figure it out.
These are good weapons.
Justin Jefferson's going to come back.
He'll work in the room.
Everybody likes Dobbs.
Jordan Addison has kind of popped as a rookie receiver.
They have a great tight end.
Jefferson comes back.
They have Osborne.
They have another receiver, an offensive coach.
They have a great left tackle.
So Minnesota is basically saying, hey, we're going to make a run at the playoffs here.
We're going to make a run at the playoffs.
Because, by the way, they're not paying Justin yet, the left tackle yet,
Addison yet.
A lot of their best players in offense, they're not paying.
And they may let Daniel Hunter go.
So their takeaway is maybe they'll go buy a quarterback.
on the market. Maybe Kevin O'Connell's like, I don't want a kid.
We're going to be, basically Minnesota's making a decision today.
They think they have a chance to be a wild card team in the NFC over getting a college
quarterback.
That's my guess.
Now, I told you yesterday, I thought Minnesota should consider trading Justin Jefferson
for a first round pick.
But they could get more than that, yeah.
I think they should consider it with the explosion of Jordan Addison, the tight end, the left tackle.
So they've got some really good pieces.
You can go find another receiver.
Jordan Addison looks like a one.
Or at least a really great two.
It looks good.
Let's...
So they, we...
You know what?
Sometimes on this show, Uncle Colin,
you think he's out there having cocktails
and eating steak sandwiches, not paying attention.
You're going to be out getting snicker bars tonight.
I'll be breaking down the league.
Let's be real, though.
I understand.
Hey, let's get to the playoffs.
Let's get Josh Jobs.
But, like, big picture, what does that do?
for your team. Well, but my takeaway is
I agree with Minnesota here. So you
can say Tankerooney, there's nine to
ten teams that need a quarterback. There's no
guarantees you're going to get one. And
they've got great, great pieces.
Addison, Justin,
Osborne, left tackle,
tight end. So basically what
Minnesota's saying is, we can make the playoffs.
Look at our schedule. Go look at who
Minnesota plays. They think
with Josh Dobbs, a mature, smart kid
who will win over the room immediately,
they can win these games. Okay, so you make the playoffs
and the Eagles beat you by 35.
The Eagles beat you by 35.
They're four and four.
And look at the quarterbacks they play.
Eagles win 40 to 14 in the first round of playoffs.
And then the season over.
You're back to square one.
You don't have a quarterback.
But by the way, if they wanted to tank,
they could have done it this weekend.
Yeah.
I know it's a tough sell to the Vikings fans, but like.
We predicted this a week ago.
Watch them go in a heater.
Yeah, they'll win a couple games.
Do you want to?
We've talked about this, Colin.
You want to be at the top of the standings,
contending or you want to be at the bottom, right? That's not true necessarily. That's not true necessarily.
Where's the win in the middle? Well, every first round has 16 to 18 elite players. So if you're
drafted 16th, you're getting a pro bowl level player. You know what? I want to be a playoff team.
I want to be a playoff. You were last year. I want to be this year. That's like saying I had a good
year at my job last year. I'm good for a couple years. A Minnesota wants to be a playoff team.
Okay.
I think this is the move.
I think they're going to win some of these games.
I think their coach is so good with quarterbacks that they'll probably be fine with Josh
Jobs and make the playoffs, like you said.
Nine wins.
I mean, the NFC is pretty bad after the top six, right?
Yeah.
There's no guarantee they'd get a quarter.
They already got four wins.
There's no guarantee they're going to have a top seven pick.
Michael Pennix is the third quarterback taken.
He's going to go about six to seven.
Somebody's going to move up for him.

Hey, we're Kavino and Rich. Fox Sports Radio every day, 5 to 7 p.m. Eastern. But here's the thing.
We never have enough time to get to everything we want to get to.
And that's why we have a brand new podcast called Overpromised. You see, we're having so much fun in our two-hour show.
We never get to everything. Honestly, because this guy is over-promising things we never have time for.
Yeah, you blubberlips.
Blame in me.
Well, you know what?
It's called Overpromise.
You should be good at it because you've been Oprah Promising Women for years.
Well, it's a Kavino and Rich After Show, and we want you to be a part of it.
We're going to be talking sports, of course.
But we're also going to talk life and relationships.
And if Rich and I are arguing about something or we didn't have enough time, it will continue on our after show called Overpromised.
Well, if you don't get enough, Kavino and Rich, make sure you check out Overpromise.
And also, uncensored, by the way.
So maybe we'll go at it even a little harder.
It's going to be the best after show podcast of all time.

Do you remember when Diana Ross
double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you know.

The Rangers took a decisive game three of the World Series in Arizona, a Corey Seeger home run, and a dominant performance.
From their pitching staff led Texas to a three-to-one win.
Tonight, it's a pivotal game four.
as Corbyn Carroll and the Diamondbacks look to even the World Series with the Rangers.
Coverage begins at 7 Eastern 4 Pacific on Fox.
All right.
One hour from now, Albert Breer will join us live.
The trading deadline is 1 o'clock.
Heating up.
So we've had the Bears went and got sweat the defensive linemen for the commanders for a second round pick.
It's a defensive coach.
Probably leaned on the GM.
Whatever.
They're not very good defensively.
And we made a little prediction that Josh Dobbs, Arizona quarterback with Kyler Murray coming back, would get moved.
He did Minnesota.
So if you look at the NFL playoff picture, Minnesota right now is in, and their takeaway is we look at our schedule.
Josh Dobbs with these weapons, this left tackle.
So right now, we've had a pretty good year.
So 11 of the 14 teams in the current playoff picture, I guess right.
So I had Cincinnati and the Chargers in.
I think the Browns are going to fall apart down the stretch.
I don't worry about that.
I had everybody in the NFC right, although I had the Saints in, Minnesota just missing.
Josh Dobbs, I think, can keep them afloat.
Saints right now both have a 4-and-4 record.
I think the Saints will eventually win their division over time.
But if you look at the trade deadline, who would make a big move?
You know, I can see the Dolphins doing something with their offensive line
before they have to pay two a big money in a year or two.
could I see the dolphins making a move at the trade deadline for an offensive lineman?
I could see that.
I could see the Steelers or the bills going for a corner back.
I could see Pittsburgh doing that.
You know, Mike Tomlin and McDermott, defensive guys, do they lean on the GM
and do they get a corner?
The Bears have a corner now that wants to be out.
I can see, I mean, Philadelphia is always available.
I don't think Detroit has a move they'd make.
Same with Seattle.
I think Dallas should get Derek Henry.
They are not interested.
I think that would be...
I don't think Dallas is a top six team in the league's top.
I just don't see it unless they make a move, a power running back.
Could Jerry Jones kick the tires on Devante Adams?
Do you even make a call?
Devante Adams opposite C.D. Lim.
You're going to have no offensive issues in the playoffs.
No excuses for that offense if they can't beat San Francisco again
when you've got those two receivers.
Remember, they couldn't do anything.
anything against the Niners in the playoffs or earlier the season.
DeVante's expensive. You'd have to give up a lot. You'd have to give up a first.
Jerry Jones is a real gambler, not like Riverboat Ron, who's like Roeboat Ron.
But Jerry Jones is willing to take big chances. That's a swing.
Listen, Devante Adams would certainly change a complexion of the NFC.
Yeah, yeah, I'm not.
And if you're the Niners, since you lose Debo Samuel.
No, they don't have any money.
They look ordinary without Debo Samuel.
He's coming back. Their problem is Trent,
Williams, they're three and six when Trent Williams doesn't play. Yeah, no run game, regardless of the
quarterback. Trent Williams is the best laugh tackle in football. They can live without Debo,
but they can't live without Trent Williams and a banged up Christian McCaffrey and no Debo.
So if McAfree, they got guys behind McCaffrey that can run in that offense. So they need
Trent Williams back. So Minnesota upgrades a quarterback. Minnesota's like, we're in the playoffs.
We're going to fight to the end. For now. Mr. Tank guy, you know what's easy to say.
tank when you're not coaching the team.
Well, yeah, the coach never wants a tank.
This front office would be smart to tank.
You just keep
buying your clipper juice.
You keep buying that team.
