Here we go. It's hour two. Big announcement later this hour. Big Jason McIntyre announcement. Don't go anywhere. I just found out what it was. Live in L.A., it's the herd, wherever you may be. However, you may be listening. Iheart Radio, Fox Sports Radio FS1. My kids just went on a cruise and had a blast. I've never got on a cruise. I'm not a cruise guy. I don't like being captive. My kids went on it, though, down in Mexico for a few days. Oh, booze cruise. No, no, no, no. It wasn't a booze cruise. It was like three days, a lot of old people. My kids went on it and loved it.

Was it one of those with like water slides on the? It was a big, it was a big old ship. A lot of music and lively and fun. It was only three days. But, you know, a lot of times you get retired people on those things. We got school. You can't leave now. Not one of that many young kids. It was a lot of debauchery happens on those cruise. Well, sometimes, yeah, but this wasn't apparently a booze cruise, as you said. But my- Took one of those at spring break. Classic. Still remember like every, well, from what I can. remember, but it was awesome. Ryan, have you ever been on a cruise?

I've never been on one. I'm not really, I don't like, I'm going on my first ever. I'm not going to get into details. I'm going on a really nice one in July. And it's a little different. I'm not going to get into it. It's not, it's different. After NBA free agency, right?

After NBA finals, I don't care about free agency. Excuse me? Who's leaving? Who's going anywhere? I need some time on that, but I can probably find some guys on the move. Okay. So I said, in the big game, We're down to, you know, two football games this weekend, decide the Super Bowl.

I said, I take the 10 best players in a game, and it usually gives you some sense on who the better team is. My initial reaction is Brock Purdy on the road at Philadelphia with that crowd. I just, that is, you're asking that kid. He struggled in the first half against Seattle, and he struggled at different times against Dallas. Now, Philadelphia, that is a big ask. I think Philadelphia is going to win the game. Now, that being said, let's go to the top 10 players. So I graded the top 10 players.

Number 10. Would be Darius Slay, Philadelphia. So five Pro Bowls in six years, the Eagles were great against the pass. He allowed a 76 passer rating, big play Slay. He's a playmaker. There's a lot of good corners. There's not a lot of good corners that are playmakers. He feels like one.

So Darius Slay at 10. Number nine. George Kiddell. That's how loaded these teams are. George Kittles at 9. One of two tight ends with 800 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Again, you could put him at 4 and I'd have no argument. This game is so stopped with talent.

He is a tight end. Remember, he is a tight end. They're valuable, but they're not quarterbacks. They're not paid, by the way, they're paid much less than left tackles, edge rushers, corners, receivers, quarterbacks. They are. They're tied ends. Who had the biggest catch for the Niners?

Not disputing that. There's a reason the pay scale for Tide Ends is the second lowest group, I think, behind safeties. Yeah, it's not who has the best highlights. That's the other network. Number eight. Christian McCaffrey had over 2,000 scrimmage yards. They are 12 and 0 since they inserted him into the starting lineup.

So, again, he is the Swiss Army knife in this league. He can catch. He actually can block a little. He can run. He figured the offense out. about 40 minutes. Remember they brought him in and like two days later he was making plays for the Niners, Christian McCaffrey, over 500 yards receiving, over a thousand yards rushing. He's a unique player in the NFL. He really is all-time unique player.

Number seven. Fred Warner, I think the best linebacker in the league. He's great against the pass. He's great against the run. He has sideline to sideline range. He led the Niners in tackles with 130. Second highest-grated linebacker in the league. I think he's the best linebacker. just does everything well. I mean, his range, remember Earl Thomas, the Seahawks safety, and you didn't talk a lot about that? He'd be like, he was a sideline to sideline safety.

That's what Fred Warner is. His highlights are insane. He's chasing down people from 30 yards away. Number six. Lane Johnson's going to be a first ballot tackle, and he's a right tackle. Has not allowed a sack in back-to-back years. I mean, he's literally far and away

the best right tackle in years. He played about 70% this weekend and dominated a four-time pro bowler, but he's only the second most talented offensive linemen they have. Get to that in a second. Number five. AJ Brown. He's great. Difference maker.

A.J. Brown, most receiving yards in a year in Eagles franchise history. One of four players with 1,500 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in the entire league. The highest-gritted wide receiver on either team. look at Tennessee's offense when he left. How many receivers could change the direction of a franchise? Now, he's not alone, but look at Tennessee and Philadelphia a year ago. That's how good he is. Number four.

Jalen Hertz, MVP conversation. 14 rushing touchdowns, a dynamic that is hard to defend. Tied for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history. Only quarterback with 30 total touchdowns and less than 10 picks. So I get all the elevation running and passing, and I don't get the giveaways. 21 and 4 over the last 25 games. It goes back to that Lamar Jackson thing. You win like that.

You're my guy. 21 and 4. Number 3. Jason Kelsey, Best Center in Football. Hasn't allowed. I mean, it's amazing. Two years allowed one sack, six-time Pro Bowler. He's the highest-granted player on the entire Eagle.

offense. He is on a short list of the greatest centers in the history of football. And I mean the list is short, and he's on it. Think about how good Philadelphia is. He's the highest-graded offensive player. Number two. Trent Williams is a top five tackle. Micah Parsons disappeared this weekend, literally disappeared. He's the highest-graded player on the Niners' offense. highest-rated offensive tackle in the league. All you had to do is go watch the Micah Parson Highlights. He engulfed him. I mean, he just engulfed Micah Parsons.

You're not going to get, in the history of the Niners, they'll never get a left tackle this good. And I don't care if they spend the next six drafts, draft them in the first round. You're never going to get a left tackle this good. Number one. Nick Bosa, defensive player of the year, virtually unblockable. There's one or two players in the league. T.J. Watts, one of the other ones, just unblockable.

For a guy his size, does he have any body fat? I mean, some guy, it's just, I mean, Nick and Joey's dad, big guy. Genetically, the bosses are different. That guy's got like no body fat in a ways 265 or something. It's incredible. So, start counting on what do you got there, J. Mack? Not a lot of beef here. A.J. Brown, I like a lot. He was on my fantasy team. I won the championship. I like A.J. Brown a lot.

I can't put him ahead of McCaffrey. I don't think I could put him ahead of Kiddle. I can't put him ahead of Warner. I would just move Brown to nine and slide everyone else down on a notch. But otherwise, this might be your best list. You know, hurt hierarchy. I had beef with it every week. This is a little less so. This is good. I tried to wedge a jet into this. I couldn't. Stop it. You got three offensive linemen in there. A lot of the casual fans will be like, Lane Johnson hasn't allowed a sack in two years. That's an incredible stat.

I think this is a good list. Yeah. I may have AJ Brown a little eye. A little bit. Listen, by the way, I don't think so. Three catches 22 yards against the Giants and they won by a million. Yeah, I mean, it didn't really have to use. They have so many weapons.

Yeah. I don't have Brock Purdy at 11, 12 either. Who's 11, by the way, who just missed the cut? Dude, do you know how good these rosters are? How about the safety for the Niners Hufunga? Oh, my gosh. I forgot him. Yeah.

To me, he feels like he just. estimate. How about the other linebacker for the Niners? Oh, Greenlaw, he's amazing. Yeah. I mean, Brock Debo Samuel. Oh, wait. No, I mean, I think you get to Brock Purdy about 17. Oh, no, no, no, yeah. Thank you for reminding me about Debo Samuel.

That's how good these rosters are. He's more valuable than A.J. Brown, because he runs the football, too. Debo Samuel's a huge, oh, geez, I'm afraid to go on social media. Now they're going to kill me for not checking you. No, I mean, Debo Samuel is a very legitimate 11. Darius Slay, I mean, when you get called, yeah, A.J. Brown literally changed the Eagles office. Yes. They went in the playoffs last year

and could not pick up first downs. And Tennessee with Mike Vrable and a great defense. And Derek Henry dried up. Like how many receivers, if Jamar Chase, Jamar Chase this year left the Bengals got hurt. Bengals won four or five straight games. And Jamar Chase is insane. So you, yeah, upon further review, you got to have Debo in the top ten. I would bump. Big play Slay down. Sorry to Slay. You know, he's very good. But, I mean, Debo Samuel,

remember the NSE championship game against a ramp? Just flipped a game with one play. You get him the ball. What year was that? That was last year. Oh, okay. Debo's, wait. Wait, it wasn't great this year?

No, it's a 17-yard touchdown against the Seahawks to blow that one open. Like, come on this year's list. He needs some more respect, Cowherd. All right. Yeah, yeah, you're making it sound like I don't like him. Eleven on this list is pretty good. All right, Nick Wright, joining us. Coho's First Things First.

Boy, he's in a good mood. Well, kind of a good mood. The Bill's thing. He's been outrageously funny on this. But for the way, did you look at my list right there? Did I... Yeah, can we talk about it for a second? Sure.

Can we throw it back on there? Sure, let's throw it back on there. So, listen, I think you did a great job with it. I tend to agree with J. Mack. I'd probably have found a spot for Debo Samuel on there, but that's nitpicking. Here's what I want to discuss. There's to me, Nick. Bosa's tracking to be a Hall of Famer.

Trent Williams, already a Hall of Famer. Jason Kelsey, already a Hall of Famer. Lane Johnson, already a Hall of Famer. Fred Warner, tracking towards being a Hall of Famer. George Kittle, tracking towards being a Hall of Famer. So in that top 10, you have three guys that if they never played another down, the three linemen, would already be Hall of Famers. three guys in Bosa, Warner, and Kittle,

who are in route to being Hall of Famers if they stay healthy, and then Jalen's obviously got to do it for a long, long time. And we are not, Kittles, I'm sorry, Debo's not on there. The best safety in the league, Fonga's not on there.

This is why the Niners can do what they've done. And Philly's been excellent as well, obviously. They've been record-wise best team in the NFC. I said this on the show last week, why, whether it's Traylands, Jimmy Garoppolo, or Brock Purdy, they can go to the Super Bowl. They are the only team in the league, Colin,

that in every positional meeting group that you have during the week, you have a first team all pro. You walk into the offensive line meeting, there's Trent Williams. You walk into the linebacker meeting, there's Fred Warner. You walk into the defensive back's meeting.

There's Ufanga. You have Boas in the D-Line meeting. You have McCaffrey in the running backs meeting. You have Debo in the wide receivers meeting. What your pal John Lynch has done with this roster is breathtaking. They are just a spectacular football team, and if Brock Purdy doesn't mess it up for them, they're going to go to the Super Bowl as someone on this show predicted, on the show

right now, not whose name's on the show. You've reminded me like four weeks in a row. Yeah. Yeah, Chiefs Niners was the preseason prediction. Looking pretty good. Go ahead. Sorry, I won't mention it again until next week. All right.

So the Mahomes thing. Listen, he can still throw, but there is the extension of plays. It's one of the many things that makes him the best quarterback, talent-wise, I've ever seen. The extension of plays. It is very likely that he won't extend plays as well. How big of a concern is that to you? I mean, it's a concern. There's no doubt about it.

The Bengals are legit. The Bengals are the team, and Joe Burrow is the quarterback. that all year long, the media pretended the bills and Josh Allen were. These are the actual rivals. Joe Burrow actually is the second best quarterback in the league. And they are 3-0 against Mahomes and the Chiefs in the last 13 months. Now, it should be mentioned, the Chiefs had leads going into the fourth quarter of all three of those games. Yes, they did.

One of those games, the AFC championship game, Mahomes kind of short-wired. mentally at half time after he screwed up the end of the first half and played the first bad 30 minutes of playoff football of his career. So it's not as if the Chiefs can't line up with these guys. And it is in Arrowhead for the fifth straight year. What was formerly known as the AFC Championship game, of course, now known as the Arrowhead Invitational. You can get your tickets for the 2024 version now, actually.

Those hotel rooms are getting booked up. But listen, the line's about right. A pickum is about right. I will say, we've never seen the Chiefs in this spot being able to play the underdog card, being able to play the no one believes in us card. And Colin, Mahomes on one leg, here would be after these playoffs. What happened with Josh Allen, with the kind of emerging of Trevor Lawrence, here's would be my updated NFL quarterback rankings.

And I wonder what you think of them. Mahomes won, burrow two, Mahomes on one leg three. You're laughing. Mahomes played the second half on one leg this weekend. I would have taken Mahomes on one leg over what I saw from your Buffalo quarterback on two legs. Tell you that much right now. Well, you know, it's interesting. The comp, the comp for Allen is Big Ben. And when Brady and Manning were chopping up the AFC with their efficiency, their pre-snap excellence,

Big Ben was good early, but he didn't win as much as we thought he should. And I look at Josh Allen. Is he Big Ben? Wildly talented, sometimes too wild. Has a defensive coach. The league is pivoting to offense. I mean, Sean McDermott had a bad weekend. Bad.

I know you have been very critical and taken a lot of heat for Josh Allen for years. Do you feel today? You've been validated. Right? Like once again, you know, that I'm the best in the world at sniffing out media creations. You know, from the same studio that brought you, don't believe in the Clippers, and then the smash hit, the nets or frauds, brings you, why are the bills the favorites? What have they won?

What have they done? Why did the bills get more credit for losing to the Chiefs than the Bengals got for beating the Chiefs in the playoffs? And by the way, for all our friends in upstate western New York that love to think, oh, if the coin flip goes our way last year, what? If the coin flip goes your way, what? You beat the chiefs? Maybe. Well, the chiefs, though, then went and lost to the team that lost the Super Bowl. Oh, it'd be different.

That game would have been what? Cincinnati couldn't have come into Buffalo last year and done what? Dog walked you up and down the field like they did this weekend. I think they could. So you brought up a few comps. I've got to, listen, you said Philip, you said Big Ben, if we're doing AFC quarterbacks of the 2000s, someone's got to prove to me he's not Philip Rivers,

a guy that never made a past conference championship game, never won a league MVP, had a ton of talent, and had some decision-making issues for a historically snake-bitten franchise. You brought up Sean McDermott. Where did Sean McDermott come from? Carolina.

Bill's fans, don't go looking around Cam Newton's football reference page right now because it'll make you a little concerned. Big, strong, physically intimidating quarterback that runs too much, has some decision-making issues, but you're wowed by the talent. So that's the Josh Allen part of this. The Josh Allen part of this is third and two deep shot, third and four deep shot, third and six deep shot, instead of moving the sticks, getting a first down, playing a precision offense. That's that part. Now the Sean McDermott part of it. Eight coaches this past week in Colin,

seven of them offensive, one of them defensive. And the defensive-minded head coach is Sean McDermott. And since the bills have been alleged contenders, here is how their seasons have ended. 2020, that defense allows 38 points to Kansas City. 2021, that defense cannot get off the field with 13 seconds left and allows 4. 42 points to Kansas City.

22 at home in the snow, that defense, they only allowed 27, but Cincinnati did everything they wanted for three and a half hours. It felt like they could have scored 37 if they needed to. Yep. There was no resistance at all. And you spent a lot of draft capital and a lot of money on that defensive side of the ball, and they're not showing up. and as the great Marlowe

Stanfield once said, the price of the brick is going up for the bills, Colin. Josh Allen's cap hit goes from 16 million to 41 million. Stepon Diggs goes from, I think, 13 million to 20 million. Von Miller's number goes way up.

Jordan Poyer's a free agent. This was their moment. I'm going to give you one more insane bills stat. This would be a Scott Casmar. Give him credit because I didn't know this. In all of NFL history, Colin, every single coach quarterback combo that has ever won a Super Bowl together, whether they win one or multiple,

won their first Super Bowl together within five years of the partnership, of them partnering up. So if you haven't won one within five years together, history says you won't. There were two coach quarterback combos that entered year five this year without having won a Super Bowl. Lamar and Harbaugh, McDermott, and Allen. Lamar and Harbaugh appear headed for divorce.

I'm not saying McDermott and Allen are not headed for divorce right now, but I wonder what it's like a year from now if there's another disappointing season in Buffalo. Now, I said this. In the divorce with Aaron and McCarthy, Aaron was the prince and McCarthy was the Joker. Back-to-back 12 win seasons, four-and-one with Cooper Rush, number one red zone offense in the league, missing his starter for five weeks, rebooting the offensive line, and didn't have Dalton, Schultz, or Gallup for some of it.

They weren't really good until Thanksgiving, right? And I'm like, when I watched Elvis this weekend, Trent Williams basically erases Micah Parsons. Tony Pollard heard at half. I can't blame McCarthy for this, Nick. I can't. San Francisco's better at home and at a better second half. I hated the last play, but it was the last play.

It felt more DAC than McCarthy to me, agree or disagree. agree that it's more DAC than McCarthy disagree that if you remove the last play McCarthy exactly bathed himself in glory Colin they punted on fourth and five on the plus side of the field on the 40 yard line you can't do it you can't do it and if I told you going into that game

that the Dallas Cowboy bingo card of DAC make head scratching throws check it off critical penalties at the worst possible time check it off, the hold on kittle on third and goal that turned a field going to a touchdown. And then just egregious clock management stuff. McCarthy is not going to change his stripes on conservatism and clock management issues in these playoff games.

It was the same script as last year. And I understand your point that, yeah, it's the last play. What are you going to do? Here's where I'm going to push it a little bit. we see all year long the best teams with the smartest offenses and the best quarterbacks you give them 45 seconds they might go down and score a touchdown back to back years the cowboys have had somewhere between 40 seconds and around 40 seconds I should say and forget going and scoring a touchdown they couldn't even get

in Hail Mary range I'm not saying you got to complete the Hail Mary but two straight years Can you at least attempt the Hail Mary? Can you at least get to a place on the field where your team has a shot? That falls on the coach. And, yeah, does it not feel to you a little bit, Colin? And people, you know, don't think of it this way. But that McCarthy and Dak could be the 2020s version of Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton. Like, your coach is fine.

Quarterback's fine. They'll make the playoffs and never content. Well, if you look at Dak and Zeeks, Cap hit. They're going to have to franchise somebody. They're the team along with Buffalo. The difference is Josh Allen, I think, is more talented than DAC. But I think Buffalo and Dallas have a reality, a cap reality, that I would say likely they won't be as good next year.

I think it's likely they just won't have as good a roster. And Philadelphia and the Niners don't pay their quarterback anything. So the Niners and Eagles are going to be the same teams next year. Pretty will have a year behind him. Jaylen will vie for an MVP again. Those teams aren't going anywhere. AFC, it's quarterback-driven. NFC, it's roster-driven, and I don't think Dallas matches up in a year.

It's 100 percent. And listen, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Chiefs one more time here. That's why the whole—what you described in Buffalo is going through. Buffalo pushed their chips to the middle of the table. Denver traded away their draft picks. The Raiders traded away from draft picks. The Chargers went on an insane spending spree. They all did it this year while the Chiefs traded away their best player.

The Bengals didn't go on an insane spending spree, but they're about to pay Burrow, they're about to pay Chase, and then they've got to make a tough decision on T. Higgins. Can you pay him as well? I say all that to say this. If the Chiefs in that climate win the conference this year with no Tyreek, starting six rookies, and with Mahomes on one leg, oh my goodness gracious. I mean, start scheduling the parades, my friend.

If you can't get them this year, when the next few years those teams are getting worse and the chiefs are of no cap problems, extra picks, ton of rookie contract guys. Oh, boy, might be trouble for the old American football conference, my friend. No, you're not wrong. This is, honestly, when Mahomes gets hurt, you're like, this is the year to get them.

You had to give up a top corner, Tyreek Hill. Brett Veach drafts and develop. They draft and develop. It fixed an offensive line in the year. Buffalo couldn't fix theirs in sixth. It's still bad. Nick Wright, first things first, after our show. Look at that suit.

That suit costs more than our set. It's discouraging. Listen, Colin, like you said, man, show with no budget. Did you see when we brought the snare drum with the trumpets? We did that on a lark, Colin. Just lighten money on fire over here, man. You got to get over to the East Coast. Money spins differently than in L.A.

It's extremely disappointing is probably how you would sum up that loss of the Bengals. season load 10 points, but Allen has been dealing with, wait for it, Colin, that elbow issue since the week nine lost to the Jets. And although he downplayed the impact of it, he admits made him alter his throwing motion. Here's Josh Allen. Honestly, rest and recovery is going to be really good for it. I mean, there is a period, obviously, right after for a few weeks where, you know, it was pretty bothersome, but, again, it didn't affect me all that much.

just kind of felt like maybe I was trying to throw it a little differently, mechanically. I had to change a few things and got away a little bit from, you know, how I'm used to throwing the ball. And that's just kind of a byproduct of that. But, again, it didn't affect me too much. It is interesting. The Cam Newton comp, I use Big Ben. If you, just because Cam, Josh Allen, and Ben just don't look like quarterbacks.

They're just bigger, stronger. Between all those guys, all the years they've played, you've got two Super Bowl appearances. And all could struggle in accuracy, all tended to leave the pocket more than you love, all world-class talents. I mean, Cam and Josh Allen have accuracy issues. It's an interesting comp that Nick threw out there. I think Josh is terrific. But I remember, you know, from college, his first year and college, he was wild. at the end of this year, kind of wild.

Hold on. I like him. Last year with Brian Dable, no elbow in the playoffs. It's only two games. Nine touchdown, zero picks, 77% completions against the Patriots and Chiefs. Now, that's only two games in the playoffs last year. Okay, but. Hold on this year, Colin.

No Dable. Maybe an elbow injury. Two games against the Dolphins and Bengals, both at home. Three touchdowns, three picks, 59% completions. So you say, to yourself, well, it's the O.C. Well, what if Brian Dayball, like Kyle Shanahan, is a gifted quarterback whisperer?

So Matt Ryan was an MVP with Kyle Shanahan. He never duplicated that season. So I'm saying if you go look at Josh Allen, he was lost in college and lost as a rookie. Dayball takes him to a special place, leaves, he regresses back to what he was, which is talented,

great, but not efficient. And so sometimes you just have a great coordinator. Now, Brady, he won with Charlie Weiss. I mean, if you go back to Josh McDaniel, Brady has succeeded with Byron Left, which he won on a Super Bowl. That's different.

That's an all-timer. But we don't know. Cam's not an all-timer. You know, Josh looks like an all-time talent. But I think it's interesting. You can say, well, with Daibel, he was great. With Brian Daibel, are we looking at? All indications are we may have a really special coach with the Giants.

Like a one-of-one. I mean, Shanahan made Matt Schaub a pro bowler. Yeah. Yet they never found another Kyle Shanahan in Washington. I was going to mention. I just wanted to look it up to confirm. Kyle Shanahan, listen, not going overboard. He made RG3 a superstar for a brief moment.

And Matt Ryan, an MVP. I mean, RG3, by the way, was on track to be maybe the face of the league. Remember how dynamic he was early? So Dayball made Allen, in many opinions, better than Mahomes, and got Daniel Jones into the playoffs. is Daible, it's certainly worth discussion. Daibald's been in the league forever. Kyle Shanahan's dad, the history. Are Shanahan and Daibol just sort of so gifted

that you can't look at that Josh Allen a year and a half or two with him and say that's what he's going to be. What he's going to be, maybe, what you're seeing now, which is wildly gifted, but he completes about, like Cam, 59% of his throat. So how do we project Alan moving forward? I mean, was it an elbow? Did they miss Daibol?

It's a defensive culture with a defensive. head coach. If that's what game, here's what really bothered me about Buffalo, and I should have seen this. Mike McDaniel twice came into Buffalo in the last however many weeks. And we set it on the air. In both instances, I felt the out-coach McDermott. Skyler Thompson in Buffalo, and it was a go-either-way game. It felt like late. It was 17, nothing early. But late, it was very contested with Skyler Thompson. So again, If this is, if this is what, if McDermott's the guy and they love, and I get it if they do. But the Day Bowl thing, we may be looking at Kyle Shanahan where they'll never duplicate Brian Dable as a coordinator.

He was destined to be a top head coach like Kyle. I know we got a lot of Buffalo viewers. Colin, and listeners. Is there a scenario where Josh Allen, remember, his new contract kicks in this offseason? I mean, is he a Dan Marino type who's going to put up monster numbers, have, pretty good offenses and then really never get... I mean, I don't even know if he's going to get to a Super Bowl. It looked like Josh Allen was on the trajectory to dominate the league with Mahomes. I think Burroughs past him, right?

Oh, no, no, Burroughs are more situationally. Joe Burrow is Brady. And, oh, by the way, Trevor Lawrence is coming. And, oh, by the way, Justin Herbert is coming. Josh Allen, I don't know. Ken Dorsey's got some work cut out the O.C. This offseason in Buffalo. They got to fix a lot of stuff.

They got raw. They got some roster decisions. We're 10 points at home. In a playoff loss. They didn't even, they were just calling plays. This is something we, you and I are not jumping on the bandwagon. We were saying this for six weeks. They have no identity.

They just run plays. Next up, Dallas Cowboys. They had a tough loss in the divisional round. And they have a lot of roster questions for next season. One of the biggest will be what happens with Zeke Elliott. After the loss, the media asked Zique about his future. Here's what he had to say. Did you give him any personal thought to your situation and moving forward in 2023

and then you'll be back with this team? You know, definitely thought about it. You know, I want to be here. I don't have a crystal ball. Can't tell you the future, but I definitely want to be here. Now, there is a report out there, according to our great research team, that Zique is willing to accept a pay cut to stay in Dallas. I would hope so

Pat Riley Spolstra I would take less in the NBA to be a Miami Heat. Yeah, he was in Chicago for like seven minutes. And he was like, oh, this is, he knew what it was like to have a bad organization. Right. Like, there are organizations, the Miami Heat, I'd take less. As a football player for my brand, the Cowboys, I'd take a little less.

There's not a lot of them, but that's one of them. There's a lot of money to be made out there outside of football for Ezekiel Elliott. Come on, guys, everybody knows him. He can make a lot of money, merch, side stuff. Final story, Daniel Jones, Colin. I'm going to be talking about him a lot. Said to become a free agent at the end of the season. Many believed it was a make or break year for the fourth year quarterback.

Danny Dimes, a lot of growth under Brian Dable, seems to maybe have secured his future in New York. Here's Giants GM, Joe Shane, on Jones's future with the team. Yeah, I don't know if there was necessarily an aha moment or anything like that. We've just continued to evaluate him throughout the season and what the coaches were asking him to do. and, you know, he was executing the game plans. And I don't know the exact date or time when we're like Daniel's our guy,

but we're pleased with how we played this season. We'd like Daniel to be here. Again, he said it yesterday. There's a business side to it, but we feel like Daniel play well this season. He's done everything that we asked him to do, and we would like to have Daniel Jones back. We're happy Daniel's going to be here. I know happy he's going to be here.

Hopefully we can get something done with his representatives, and that would be the goal to build a team around him where he could, you know, lead us to win a Super Bowl. You get 18 million a year, take it or leave it. 18 mil. What's the market? He's probably leaving that. Oh, really?

18 million. Come on, man. That's nothing for quarterbacks. Brian Dable. Great defense. Sequam Barclay, New York Media Market. 18 million, take it or leave it. All right.

Brian Dable wins. You're making stuff. I just know, Daniel Jones, his agent's going to go. We got you into the playoffs. say, all right, call Atlanta, see what the offer is. There's no market for him. None. 18 million seems very gracious.

I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. For the longest time, they were like the only northern football power that didn't, or northern football NFL team that didn't have an indoor

facility. Cincinnati's not a big market. There's not a lot of money in Cincinnati. You know, and Brown's been kind of historically cheap, perpetually cheap. But yesterday people were talking about his comment he made about Joe Burrell, a guest on the Bengals Radio Network. Hey, he's going to have a long career, he said, on Joe's contract coming out. We certainly want. it to be here. I think his window will extend over his whole career, but there is a fact that when you don't have to pay the quarterback some extraordinary amount, that leaves room to pay other players more and therefore you can keep more players that are good players. And a lot of people said,

oh, that's a hometown discount. It's not a hometown discount. It's called a winning discount. Russell Wilson and Aaron Rogers are now really rich. Neither made the playoffs. So if Joe Burrow takes a little less, and I think he should, I think all these quarterbacks should take. a little less. Breeze and Brady did, and their teams got much better. You want to get rich, you want to win games. So Joe Burrell's a good-looking kid. Easy endorsement opportunities. He's wholesome. He's Midwest.

He's great. He's handsome. You can make a lot of money. The top five quarterback hits in the NFL this year. Three missed the playoffs. Kirk Cousins was won and done, and you got Mahomes left. And by the way, they had to get rid of their top corner and their top receiver. So the next year, and we said, this. Next year, top five cap hits at quarterback. Cleveland, Dallas, Kansas City, Buffalo, and the Titans.

The Titans had to get rid of A.J. Brown. Dallas had to get rid of Amari Cooper. Kansas had to get rid of Tyree kill in their best corner. So, and Buffalo's got major decisions this offseason. So it's easy to take shots at Cincinnati, but I think Joe Burrow would be wise to take less money. You know, people always say this. Oh, you know, it's easy to say take less money. it's different. Guys are making $400 million now. It was different when you made $30 million. You live in California.

You're down to $15. Hell, there's houses, you know, a mile from my house that are worth, it looks like hotels. They're worth $50 million. It's a different time now. Players, endorsements. NFL guys not only make significantly more playing football. So the contract have exploded in the last 8 to 10 years.

They're now like NBA. guys making money in apparel. OBJ kind of started that. Now there are apparel deals. Now NFL players can make money on social media. There's young kids making seven figures on Instagram and Snapchat's and TikTok, whatever it is. So the world's changed.

I think Aaron Rogers should have taken less and they'd have another receiver. I think you start looking. If you want to get rich, you're not going to win the big games. Brady and Breeze figured it out. Take less money. Keep your number two corner. Get another pass rusher. I think Burrow should take less. Well, Brady's wife was a multi-millionaire model. But you know what? If you came to me and I'm Joe Burrow, hey, Joe, can you take less? Hey, I'm doing my job, okay? I'm one of the best quarterbacks in the league. How about you do your job and build a roster around me, the franchise quarterback? That's what I would say if I was Joe Burrow. I'm taking less.
