This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's
superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast.
Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith rule.

Now let's get this party started. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
All right, Albert Breer spent six days at the combine.
Networking, that's exhausting.
I spent three and a half at the Super Bowl.
I needed three days to sleep.
So the young guys can do that once your hair's gray like this,
you're not going six days at a combine.
I'm not that young cop.
Well, let's start with this.
Definitely feeling it.
Let's talk, first of all.
Let's address, are you surprised Derek Carr to the Saints?
which I do feel like this morning gives Green Bay.
Aaron Rogers becomes really valuable to the Jets or, you know, anybody.
So what is your takeaway on card of the Saints?
Are you surprised by it?
Yeah, I think actually sort of foreshadows where the market's going.
He didn't have a lot of options, Colin.
I mean, if you really want to break it down here,
the Panthers met with him, but that was more exploratory.
They never made an offer.
The Buccaneers who some people thought were going to be involved,
were not involved.
And the Jets wanted to wait on what's going to happen with Aaron
Rodgers and Lamar Jackson. And so you really had the Saints left at the table. And sure,
Derek Carr could have waited to see how some of these other situations play out. But, you know,
you do that. Now all of a sudden the Saints are getting closer to free agency and maybe they
look at other options. So I think it's smart for him to take the deal that he did. If you look at like
the actual details in the deal, it is less than he was due in Vegas over the next three years with
more guaranteed. But I think it's sort of is foreshadows where
the quarterback market could be a week from now where for the first time and forever,
there are more experienced starting quarterbacks out there than there are open starting
quarterback spots on the market.
And I think the operative question here is, and this is the question a lot of teams are asking,
if I had asked you Colin a year ago, would you rather have Daniel Jones or Baker Mayfield?
How do you think you would have answered that?
Probably Baker.
A year ago, yeah.
And now we're saying Daniel Jones is worth $30 million per year more than.
Baker. That's how a lot of teams are looking at this. They're looking at the top end of the market.
And you're going to have Aaron up there and Lamar up there. But beyond those two, it's, it's
Gino. It's Daniel Jones. It has been Derek Carson, Jimmy Garoppolo. Those guys are all going to be
looking for deals at $30, $40 million a year. I think some teams are looking at that and saying,
would we rather go get a Baker Mayfield or try a reclamation project like Carson Wentz or a Sam
Darnold? Like to me, like that's the operative question for a lot of these teams where they're saying,
saying maybe I'd rather have one of those other guys at five or 10 million bucks and then spend
the remaining $30 million elsewhere.
All right.
So you're there for six days.
And when you go to the combine, it's a lot of late night dinners and drinks.
And so Chicago's got the number one pick.
What are you hearing?
Yeah.
So I talked to Matt Eber Fluse and Ryan Poles about this for about a half hour on Saturday.
We went through all the different scenarios.
Three teams have called at this point.
So they've had discussions with three teams.
They view seven players as worthy of the first overall pick.
Now, that's instructed because that kind of gives you an idea how far they're going to
be willing to go down because they still want to come out of this draft with a blue chip
player.
They feel strongly that they're going to be able to move the pick.
And it sounded to me just from talking to those guys for a half hour there and it being
on the record.
Sounds to me like Justin Fields is going to be their quarterback in 2023.
So now the question is, who's going to be?
going to come up and get the pick. And I think the developments of the weekend certainly,
you know, can kind of, I would say, color where this whole thing is going to go. You know,
you have Bryce Young who hasn't thrown yet. C.J. Stroud looked great throwing it. And then Anthony
Richardson put on his show athletically. So you have some options there at the top of the draft.
So, you know, I think as of right now, you know, the bears are waiting to see if there are going
to be more teams involved. And some teams, you know, would feel more comfortable, waiting for the
medicals to come back on the quarterbacks, waiting to have a chance to work them out privately
before they make a decision on going up that far. But where it is right now, I think Ryan Poles feels
comfortable that he's going to get his price. And now this just comes down to timing. And, you know,
if you look at the history of it, we've had deals done early. The deal for Robert Griffin III in 2012
was done, I believe, on March 9th, about a week after the combine ended that year. We've had deals
done on a draft day. You remember the Bears going up one spot to get
Mitch Trubesky in 2017.
So really this comes down to timing at this point for the bears.
It's a very interesting quarterback market.
Bryce Young's the best size concerns.
Anthony Richardson, not very productive, but everybody loves his size and strength.
What was your takeaway on this quarterback market, all these guys at the combine?
Is it a hot market?
Are there doubters?
Where do you stand on it?
I mean, you can poke holes in every one of them.
You know what I mean?
Like I think with both Richardson and Leviss, and probably to a greater degree, Richardson,
you're talking about great athleticism, great tools, but just hasn't been able to put it all together.
I think with Levis, you know, you see the tape's a little bit better, but a little less
athletically of those two.
Then you have C.J. Stroud, who's polished, who's developed as a quarterback, who throws a
beautiful ball who played in a pro-style offense at Ohio State, but there's questions about
his toughness and his competitiveness and his leadership that I think he's being forced to answer.
think he's done a good job answering some of those. And then Bryce Young, if he's six foot three,
220 pounds, he's the first pick in the draft, no question about it, but he's not. From a size
standpoint, he's a real outlier. And so I think coming out of the combine, it's similar to the way
we felt going into the combine, which is there isn't a perfect prospect out there. There isn't even a guy
that's like, I think Caleb Williams and Drake May will be next year. And so you sort of have to
become comfortable with each guy's flaws to envision not just drafting them, but the idea of going up
to get one of them.
Could you explain?
So a non-exclusive franchise tag, reportedly that's what Baltimore is going to offer
Lamar Jackson.
I know what it is.
Basically, we like you, but we're not going to pay you what you want.
If somebody's willing to, we'll franchise tag you for a year.
We like you.
But if somebody wants to come by you, we get two first round picks.
We're good with that.
I mean, good God, they were viable against the Bengals twice using like third-level guys.
So they're so good structurally coach GM ownership culture roster.
You know, they could go draft another quarterback.
Have you got Max Duggan in round two?
You could see him winning games.
So where do you think they're at with Lamar?
Well, if they use the exclusive tag on them, it's a very strong, you know,
a very strong sign that they intend to keep him because he becomes harder to trade.
If you have him on the exclusive tag, because the, the number is going to be over $45 million a year.
It might be more.
it might wind up being more than that when we get to the spring.
And that's going to be a harder number off which another team,
off which for another team to negotiate a long-term contract.
If it's the non-exclusive tag, you can look at one of two ways.
Either they are looking to get rid of him, right?
Or not looking to get rid of them, but they just feel like it's kind of reached its endpoint.
So they put them out there.
Another team can come in and do the deal for two first-round picks
and try to make it so the Ravens won't match.
or they could negotiate a contract with them and then the Ravens and that team could negotiate a trade.
The other way you could look at doing the non-exclusive tag is, again, they're frustrated that they've gotten through this negotiation and they don't have a solution yet.
And now they're going to let another team write the contract for them.
And the Ravens could say, you know, logically here, well, Lamar, we're here and we want to give you a traditional top of the market quarterback deal.
You're over there.
You want something like what Deshaun Watson got.
So let's see what you can go and get.
Yeah.
And then that other team writes the contract, and we intend to match it.
And then Lamar goes out there and seeks out a contract from another team.
And basically, that team has done the legwork in finding the compromise between the Ravens
and Jackson.
So things get exponentially more, I would say, interesting if it's the non-exclusive tag.
We know there's going to be one of the two tags tomorrow.
If it's the non-exclusive tag, yeah, things get very, very interesting between Lamar and the team.
By the way, we heard a Brady rumor,
Niners, blah, blah, blah.
Is there a nut?
Because somebody said, you know, an older quarterback.
Is there another older quarterback that wasn't Brady who's retired?
Is there anybody yet?
Because the Niners said, we may look for a veteran.
Who are they talking about?
Yeah.
Well, they left the light on for,
they definitely left the light on for Brady and they have over the last couple of years.
And I think you could argue, like, it's different to ask him,
to play in March or February than it is to ask him to play in, say, September, right?
Like if things aren't good in September, could they go to him and say, look, we just need you
for the next four months?
Maybe the equation changes.
I don't know.
That's just something to think about.
They are going to look at other insurance policies at the position.
And one, I think you want to keep an eye on.
Now, they could go safe and go for somebody like Andy Dalton.
The one that was really interesting that I heard about from a couple different people at the
combine was Baker Mayfield.
And if you think about it, Baker Mayfield has experience in that offense, having played in it under Kevin Stefanski, who learned the offense from Gary Kubiak, of course, is Kyle Shanahan's mentor and help teach him that offense along with his dad.
And Baker would come in motivated.
Baker would probably come at an affordable rate, and you don't have to hand Baker the starting job to go and get him.
So, you know, you figure now instead of taking two shots at it, which, you know, you're leaning on either Trey Lance to develop or you're leaning on Brock Perry to get healthy.
you've got sort of a third option there where you'd have a motivated Baker Mayfield
who essentially is coming in as the walk on at Texas Tech, the walk on at Oklahoma.
And we've seen how he's done in those situations in the past.
So that to me was one of the more interesting ones, you know, as far as team and player that
I heard in Indy was the idea that Baker Mayfield could potentially be a solution for the 49ers.
Finally, all your discussions, and I'm sure it was a non-alcoholic beer,
but all your discussions at the combine.
What is the consensus, reporters, executives, people that you rub shoulders with on
Aaron and Green Bay?
What's the consensus today?
The consensus is the things run its course.
Now, I think the longer it goes on, I'd say the better chance there is that that
changes.
But I would certainly say, you know, having talked to people in Green Bay over the last
couple of months, their approach here is very, very different than it was the last
two years. The last two years, if you look at it, it was doing everything to accommodate Aaron
Rogers' return and trying to get the most out of a roster that was very much in a win now spot
and trying to facilitate extra years of development for Jordan Love, who I think if they were
being honest with you a year ago, we're a little worried about where Jordan Love was. Now they want
a decision from him, and now they want that decision now, and they want to be able to plan forward on who's
going to be their quarterback. And that doesn't mean they're kicking Aaron Rogers out, but they're less
all in on the idea of Aaron Rogers being in their quarterback in 2023, then they were in
2021 or 2022.
A couple reasons for that.
Number one, I think there's fatigue over the way that this has gone in the last couple
years.
And then number two, they're pretty excited about where Jordan Love came, how far Jordan
Love came over the last year.
So the Packers approach is very, very different.
The Jets are waiting on them and waiting on what sees in this situation.
And I certainly think that there's a very real scenario where Aaron Rogers is on another team,
on another team in a week or two.
But again, the longer this thing goes,
I think Aaron has to know other teams are going to have to start making their
quarterback plans and it would become harder for the Packers to move them.
That's $60 million number, by the way, is very, very key.
Like, he's going to have to rework that for another team to bring him in.
Good stuff.
Albert Brer, good talking to you, bud.
Awesome.
Thanks, Colin.

J. Mac with the news.
No, no, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
Well, let's get started with Mack Jones.
You know, there aren't a lot of guys we totally disagree on,
but I think we're in separate camps here.
You like Mack Jones a lot.
I don't like him a lot.
You like him a lot more than most people.
No, no, no.
I like him a lot more than you, but I don't like him a lot.
He's an effective distributor of the football that gets the ball out quickly and accurately,
and I think there's not a lot off script he can do, but he can win you games with Belichick and that defense.
Well, we would at least agree that he had a suspect second season,
offensive coordinator questions.
but according to the athletic, Bill Belichick told his coaching staff not to be too hard on Mac Jones.
You buying that?
Yes, because I think Belichick has a little coaching guilt, realizing he put him in a very difficult situation.
You don't think he did?
Matt Patricia calling plays?
So I think Belichick knows deep down.
I kind of booted this.
The kid was off to a really good career start, and they got a couple of young receivers people like.
don't love. I think Belichick realizes he's a little vulnerable here. He deserves most of the
Mac Jones regression. I mean, this is an older kid, right? Spent, I think, five years in college.
Well, a lot of people did. They're called doctors. I took the fifth year. I thank my parents for it
all the time. It was great. But you just don't see, like, you like to talk about whether or not
someone can elevate a team. Can Mac Jones elevate the Patriots offense ever? There's six of
those in the planet. You've got to have somebody beyond
Holmes and, you know,
Aaron Rogers. There's only about six of those
in the world. So if Daniel Jones
is worth 40 million, I think...
I mean, that's what I read this weekend.
Worth versus what they have to offer.
I think he's worth 22 million. Forty's
what I'm hearing. It's insane.
Daniel Jones market's insane.
Who do you... I'm a dead serious. Who's
better, Mac Jones or Daniel Jones?
I don't think that's an easy question. Now, the
salary is the big... Mac Jones on a rookie dealer
or Daniel Jones at 40-0. I think Mac
Jones is a better
quarterback than Daniel Jones.
I think Daniel Jones is a bigger,
better athlete. But in terms of
get the ball, read the defense, throw it
accurately, Mac Jones. I think Mac Jones
did that at Alabama with a stacked
offense. And I think he did it at New England
first year with no offense. I mean, he beat a lot
of bad teams. Oh, God.
What was the last time he showed up in a game
against Buffalo and had a good game? I saw him play
Dallas and I saw him play Brady.
It looked pretty good to me with nothing
to work with. Well, you've got
You and Mac Jones.
No, let me ask a question.
Daniel Jones, Mac Jones.
Who?
I take Mac Jones.
Well, only Mac Jones because of his contract situation.
No, no.
Rookie deal.
Players, just players.
No, I would roll the advice with Daniel Jones.
If you're telling me you're paying on the exact same,
Daniel Jones can win with his legs,
Mac Jones is running with cement shoes on.
Like, come on.
One-dimensional quarterback.
Go look at the rookie numbers for Mac Jones
with nothing to work with on the perimeter.
Better than Daniel Jones' numbers,
This year in year four with an elite offensive coach.
Am I wrong on that, Ryan?
Agreed or disagree?
How's that?
Music, you can decide it.
I think Max's a better quarterback.
Same passer rating.
Same passer rating.
So a rookie, one-year starter in college rookie goes to a team with no, I mean, really
limited, didn't have a say Juan Barclay, didn't have his good left tackle, didn't
have any good receivers, rookie, replacing Brady.
That's a little heat.
With a great offensive coordinator and Josh McDaniels.
Well, replacing Cam, I guess.
And by the way, goes in and has as good a year as Daniel Jones this year with Brian Dable.
Four years in the league.
Seems to me four years to get to that number.
Take out the Viking games.
You know who's happy about this?
Jets fans, because Mack Jones is not somebody you're scared of going forward.
That's for sure.
All right.
All right.
Next story.
Anthony Davis, Colin.
How about that game from AD against the Warriors?
39 points.
I love that he was in the paint, like anchored down low.
He only shot three three-pointers, went to the line a ton.
39 at 12 in the fourth quarter, eight board, six assists.
Your Lakers have won four of six since the All-Star break.
Jared Vanderbilt coming through.
Not my Lakers.
Colin, Troy Brown played 41 minutes before.
I mean, listen, they're on three teams in four years.
I know Lakers fans are excited.
They're not making the playoffs.
It doesn't.
Rui is very inconsistent.
He's playing 20 minutes and Troy Brown's playing.
I don't understand Harvard, Darvin Ham's rotations.
Dennis Schrooter is so spotty.
Malik Beasley's hit and miss.
Well, those guys were not great players.
They're better than what they had.
I thought it was a nice win yesterday.
I thought Anthony Davis was in the fourth quarter,
unstoppable.
My buddy's a Laker season ticket holder was at the game texting me.
This sounds like a Warriors home game.
That's how many Warriors fans were in L.A.
Well, they should be.
The Warriors are a 10-year wonderful.
brilliantly coached
and executing offense.
The Warriors
the Warriors have been
dominant for eight or ten years.
The Lakers have been a mess for most of the last decade.
So there's a lot of Bay Area.
Let's not forget that.
What's that?
LeBron brought the Lakers a title.
And the Warriors have like five in that period?
Yes, they did.
Well, Steph Curry.
I mean, come on.
We're talking about a legend.
Final story, Colin.
Yeah.
How about this one?
Look at this.
Look at this video.
Yannis is sitting on 23.13 assist and nine boards.
late in the game between the bucks and the wizards.
Look what Janus does.
He decides, I'm going to shoot it so I can get my own rebound with no defenders there.
Look, he misses on purpose just so he can get the triple double.
His fourth trip dub of the season.
Then Janus laughs about it, looks up at the stats, make sure he's got it.
Well, he laughed about it.
We both like Janus.
Oh, he's just...
In the back of his mind is he thinking, damn, Yokic is going to win a third straight MVP?
I need to start putting up triple doubles.
I think it was a funny gesture at Yokic that he's doing that to say.
Is Yokic just stat patting?
Oh, okay.
He's just saying, well, I better get a triple double.
And he's laughing about it.
This is not somebody.
I'm not going to name other players who have stat padded their...
Go ahead.
Name them.
No.
Why?
Because I'm a...
Everybody knows you're going to name.
He's on the clippers.
They're losing a lot of games.
Whatever.
But this is a moment in a career of complete authenticity
where he's kind of doing it as a either tip of the cap.
or a poke in the ribs to Yolkich.
And is he also saying, like, maybe the league cares too much about stats.
And stats don't mean.
You're a big.
Stats matter in baseball.
Right?
Nobody, you can't name the five best NBA numbers that exist outside of, like,
championships.
Like, how many MVP's does Magic Johnson have?
Like, who knows, right?
I've always said about all analytics.
They matter, but they don't.
They can't, data can't tell you momentum, locker room, chemistry.
sports is a lot about momentum, and sometimes you just have to make a call based on the crowd,
the players, confidence.
Steph Curry's had bad shooting nights.
You know, I mean, like, there are, data doesn't have the answers for everything.
Yeah.
I mean, I've had an occasional off day here doing, you know, the news.
I still believe in you, though.
You do.
The data says get rid of you, but I defend you to the corner.
The data also says, should we announce what's happening Friday on the show, or are we not doing
Not yet.
I don't get too.
Listen, it's big.
We've got to start hyping it.
It's a big day.
Big, big day ahead this week on the show.
Okay.
All right.
J. Mac with the news.
Well, that's the news.

Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you're just so you.
y'all know. I mean, at this point, this is the second episode where we've discussed
crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really?
Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

All right, time for Monday Magic 8 Ball. We do this about once a month where the, the, the,
trusty eight ball gives us answers to some of the most confounding questions about sports and the
NBA. Good NBA time now. Sundays, they give you two, three games in a row. So I watched a couple
of them yesterday providing some context and answers to what's happening. Did you stay up for Grizzlies
clippers last night? No, John Moran didn't play, so I wasn't going to watch that. I told you,
if the stars miss, I'm out. But I got Leonard played. I know, but I got the first two games,
I got stars outside of LeBron.
The Lakers have proven the ability
if AD plays
with this new lineup, they can win without LeBron.
Not bad. They're fun to watch.
They got a lead, and they didn't...
Jaylon Brunson didn't play for the Knicks, and they got the win.
Double over the Celtics.
I know. Sultics scrapping a little bit.
Yeah. Here we go.
All right, Magic 8-Bull.
Will the Milwaukee Bucks
finish with the best record in the Eastern Conference?
The Magic 8 ball says,
without a doubt. They've won 17 of 18. They allow the second lowest field goal percentage in the league
at 45 percent, so they're built road tough, home tough. They play defense. There's not a lot of
holes on this franchise if they're healthy. They should be favored to win the title, and I think
they will. All right. Will the Denver Nuggets finish with the best record in the west,
your guy Yokic? Without a doubt, well, John Morant's out for the Grizzlies, some
turmoil there out indefinitely. By the way, 25 and O'
when Yokic gets a triple double. They know
who their leader is. There's real clarity on they play.
Yokic's team, surrounded by athletic forwards.
They're a good team. I'm not as high on them as everybody yet.
They're my Philadelphia in the West. Prove it to me.
I've been hearing it for years. I love Coward.
Best record in the West by a mile. They're a good team.
Very good team.
All right, Magic 8-ball. Will the Celtics make it back to the
NBA finals. Don't count on it. Seven of their next eight games, by the way, are on the road,
and Robert Williams hamstring has hurt again. I've told you. He's always hurt. I know, but they're
not beating Milwaukee without Robert Williams. He's also a huge problem against the Warriors.
He would be a problem against the Sons. Robert Williams is, I know he's not a big offensive
threat. He'll give you 11 a night. Robert Williams is a big, you can't rely on Al Horford to be the
rim protector. When Robert Williams is healthy, they can be
anybody including the Bucks and the Warriors.
When he's not, you saw
yesterday. They're okay.
Disagree with the Magic 8 Ball.
All right. Will the Warriors make it back to the NBA
finals?
Well, most likely the Magic
8 Ball says. Well, they've reached
the finals six of the last eight years.
By the way, when Steph plays
number two scoring offense
in the NBA at 119
per game, he was back. Didn't shoot
particularly well, but God, do I love watching
in that ball movement
when Steph Curry's back.
There's so much.
No, Wiggins yesterday, right? He didn't play.
No, didn't have Wiggins.
Folks, they are
giving all these opportunities
to these young players to play
when Wiggins was out and Steph was out.
We have not seen the best
of the Warriors. They've won five of six.
This is not the best.
When Wiggins comes back,
they take another level
as a wing defense.
All right, now the Magic 8 ball,
take your time on this Magic 8 ball.
Will the Mavs
win at least one playoff series.
My sources say no.
Two and five with Luca and Kyrie.
Here's their problem.
Since they acquired Kyrie Irving,
opponent's field goal percentage is 52%.
They let go of Dorian Finney Smith,
who was their best defender,
and got one of the league's worst defenders.
So their issue is you're going to hit over half your shot.
You saw it yesterday.
When Phoenix needed a bucket late, Phoenix got a bucket late.
You get what you want with this defense.
Jason Kidd, it's a work in progress.
They're going to figure it out.
All right, let's go to the Sixers, Magic 8 Ball.
Will Joel Embed and the Sixers make it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in his tenure?
Finals?
Eastern Conference Finals.
It says here, Outlook not so good.
Yeah, it's fair.
Well, I mean, I've been hearing this for years.
They haven't advanced past the second round in nine years.
And I like them, but do you trust Hardin in the playoffs?
No.
Everybody's like, oh, he's having quite a year.
He's having quite a regular season.
A year includes the playoffs, and I don't trust him in the playoffs.
All right.
Let's go to a team.
I know you are, you have a total man crush on this team.
Will the Phoenix Suns make it to the Western Conference finals?
Likely?
Yes, signs point to yes.
One-wing shy are reaching the finals in back-to-back years,
so we know they've got the Constitution for it.
By the way, not only is Kevin Durant one of the great players offensively,
he is an incredibly versatile defensive player.
Fair.
So I think he gives them length.
They don't have a deep bench.
Terrence Mann and a Cameron Payne.
It's not a great bench.
But I don't know.
I watched him yesterday.
Kevin Durant's length on the defensive end.
Yeah, they're wing defenders.
Torrey Craig.
They're not.
The kid Wainwright.
That's their weakness.
Who's the other one?
And because of that, they're probably not going to beat the Bucks or the Warriors.
For a while, the Mavs strategy worked.
We're going to funnel the ball to their non-superstars.
Go ahead, take your shots.
They missed them all.
And then at the end, Kevin Durand demanded the ball and won the game.
All right, Colin, will the Lakers make the playoffs, Magic 8th ball?
Ask again later.
Ask again later.
Well, they're six and three since the All-Star break.
Listen, if they miss the playoffs, it'll be the eighth time in 10 years.
But, as we saw yesterday, there's not a lot of dominant bigs in the West.
Ambide is East.
Yonis is East.
Robert Williams defensively, east.
Anthony Davis in the West can get his way against a lot of teams, especially the Warriors.
So, I mean, Anthony David, they did yesterday what they can do.
Pound it low to Anthony Davis.
LeBron comes back.
They got some better shooters now.
This is it.
Trying to be optimistic.
It's so funny, I love the optimism around this Lakers team.
Troy Brown played 41 minutes, Colin.
And now the final question for the Magic 8 ball.
Will Anthony Davis play for the Lakers next season?
Very doubtful.
Came up immediately.
Well, where are you sending him?
Missed 25 games this year.
He's missed 25 plus games in four of the five years as a Laker.
And with LeBron's age, increasingly LeBron's going to give you about 28 minutes
in night and 52 games.
That's what LeBron is now. So you have to have somebody that gives you 70 games.
So I think you move him to a championship defender. I keep saying Golden State you think it's crazy. I do not.
What's the trade?
You give us Clay Thompson off a big year. You get Anthony Davis because as Jordan Poole and DeFincenzo has emerged.
We give you Anthony Davis Golden State. We get Clay Thompson and one of your bench players, Cumminga.
I think you can get more for AB than Clay.
He's missing 25 games per.
You'd be buying high on a guy who suffered some injuries.
I would much rather go after Damian Lillard.
Can you get Damian Lurd for Anthony Davis?
What if Dane's like, you know what?
They might end up missing the playoffs.
Do you think this proposition's bad?
Clay Thompson, Jonathan Cominga,
and a draft pick for Anthony Davis.
I would do that.
Is LeBron signing off on that?
Well, I get an athletic wing Lakers need.
I get a great shooter with LeBron.
Boom.
get rid of DeAngelo Russell.
They're not going to be signing him back, yeah.
I think Clay Thompson.
What about your Kyrie Irving thing?
Let's get out of that.
You know, not interesting.
Okay.
I get Clay Thompson,
LeBron's great with shooters.
I get a wing defender.
You need them.
Why are the warriors moving off Clay?
Why are they breaking up the black brothers?
Because if they lose to the sons or bucks and it becomes clear,
we got to get bigger.
I mean, we got the guards.
DeVincenzo and Prince.
pool now have established themselves. I think somebody's going to pay
DeVincenzo. I don't think they can hang on to him.
Interesting. See? Got you thinking.
Uncle Colin drops a little eight balls. So now you've got a
pool curry back court, which I can dig.
And Peyton.
Pool Curry. I would soon to move off Dremont, your guy,
then Clay Thompson. They like Dremont.
Why? Who's the best defender in the league? See you tomorrow.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy. Not quite.
On Humor Me with Robert Smygel and Friends,

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal,
encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
