This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but the show.
celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeard Radio app, Apple Podcast,
or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok's
podcast network on TikTok. Thanks for listening to The Heard podcast. Be sure to catch us live every weekday
on Fox Sports Radio in noon to 3 Eastern 9 a.m. to noon Pacific. Find your local station for the
herd at Fox SportsRadio.com or stream us live every day on the IHeart Radio app by searching Fox Sports
Radio or FSR.
Now let's get this party started.
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Hi, I'm comedian and former
third grade linebacker David Spade,
and this is NFL Reel or Fake.
I had two sacks and three hurries.
Okay, let's get started. Hit me with the first one.
Aaron Rogers will recover from his Achilles
injury and return this season.
I think that might be fake.
The guy's a stud, but I once had a similar
situation. I got a Charlie Horse
and canceled Grunups 3, so
The Detroit Lions are legit this year.
That's real.
Dan Campbell, have you seen him?
He looks like a human biker bar.
This is a guy who sits wherever he wants in the prison cafeteria.
Scoot over it.
Yeah, no shit.
David Spade lost more than $500 on NFL bets this season.
Let me tell you something.
I'll give you a hint.
I'm the worst gambler that's from Arizona.
And remember, that's where Phil Mickelson's from.
My favorite team is the Texans, so you do the math.
Well, that's it.
Did I get him all right?
Did I win money?
All right.
He's got a new show.
Snake Oil airs tonight after the mass singer on Fox.
It is David Spade, producer, writer, comedian.
Yes, Saturday Night Live, Emmy nominations, Golden Globe.
Good to see you, buddy.
A lot of noms.
Not a big closer.
You do, I will say this.
Your show, New Game Show, Executive Producer Will Arnett, whose friends, they do a podcast, Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnette.
They're very funny.
I got a question for you.
My wife loves you.
She only said, today I'm going to listen because Spades on.
There's two comedians.
You know one of them.
Theo Vaughn and you.
Yeah, yeah.
Those are her guys and you're my guys too.
And so, but it's interesting with Bateman, who she loves.
Is Bateman a comedian or an actor?
He's an actor.
Actor, yeah.
Okay, but he's a comedic actor.
So do comedians look at Jason Bateman and respect the comedy or the acting?
Please be honest.
Yeah, we have a lot of problems with him because,
um, now I actually, you know,
I always like what he did
because he's sort of all over the place.
I mean, Ozarks is different from this,
and he's in all these movies.
Always funny.
I think he started out more comedic.
Not a calm comedian,
but he was in a lot of comedic stuff.
And then he sort of switched
and he goes back and forth.
But even, like when I did the wrong missy,
I said, I like these guys
that sort of play
the, like a Benzill or Jason Bay,
where everything's crazy around him
and they're trying to hold it down.
They're trying to be the real one
with all this stuff.
happening and that's what that's why i liked about the wrong missy everything else was crazy around me
and i think jason bateman does that really well and and smartless is a good podcast that i did with him
that was a fun one that's where i sort of talked to will arnett and then afterwards we talked about
he said maybe you should do this thing we're doing if you want to and we talked about snake oil
and that's how it started yeah so will arnette will arnette's the cranky one baseman kind of
bateman uh is the naturally funny one sean hayes is the sweet one and it works yeah and by the way
Will Arnett, you're doing a game show.
I saw Jamie Fox.
You game shows, and I don't know why this is, the writers strike, writers vote.
The strikes over, writers I think vote next week, right?
Did that affect you at all?
Because comedians write their own stuff.
Right now, I'm doing that podcast with Dana.
So we can do that.
Everything's very like, it's very tough.
So we want to play by the rules.
So we did that.
I'm doing a stand-up tour right now.
That's not affected.
but Theo and I did write a movie.
You met Theo backstage at the UFC?
No, we were at the UFC fight.
We have a picture.
Theo, look who doesn't fit in this picture.
It's David Spade.
Look at the two tough guys, and there's Colin.
Yeah.
I think I was a little, I think I had to have a couple pops.
Dude, you know, it's funny.
I put my arm around you and you tapped out.
I was like, what's going on?
Hey, Jaymacks here.
You didn't see me on me.
Jammack, I saw you at the Untucket store.
Just kidding.
Did you see his shirt he's wearing today?
Yeah, I know.
He had a gift certificate for a million.
million dollars.
Sorry, I'm kidding.
Fire away, dude.
I wrap it up.
I go, hey, it's cool.
Nice kidding.
So, just, we were talking before.
There's two shows in my life.
Just Shoot Me is one of them.
Yeah.
And radio with,
news radio.
Okay, that I always thought were great.
Smart actors, funny guys.
And by the way, I think they both go into syndication.
You guys have all done well on that stuff.
Joe, Just Shoot Me was amazing.
Because they had all these classic characters.
or actors, and you landed, and you could have said, that's how weird fit. It fit perfectly.
No, I got, thank you. I got lucky because I just left starting it live. A few people remember?
Not one, not one. This guy's staring into space. So I did that, and then they go, you can either do
your own show, like a sitcom. Right. Or we do have this one that we like, but it's just, it's not quite
there. Everyone's good in it, but they're just teetering. And I'm like, it's such a gamble to your own
show. And you get sort of one shot. And if it doesn't work all your heat,
goes away. So I got to look at the pilot, which was lucky, look at a sitcom and say,
oh, they don't really have one like me. And I'm coming off of the hardest comedians to be
in competition with in a way. You know, Adam and Chris Farley and Mike Myers and Dana. Everyone's great.
And I was so much like Dana, it was always tough. No one on here was like me. So just great actors.
George Siegel. George Segal, Winnie Malick, and Lauren, everyone there. So I said, I'll join that one.
They're like, you're the fifth lead. That's fine. If something's good,
and Steve Lovitan was the writer.
It all kind of fell in a place.
And so I joined it and we reshot the pilot.
And then it worked from the get-go, thank God.
And then George Siegel used to say,
it's four actors and a cartoon.
And you're the cartoon.
It took me years to figure that.
Why was nobody?
Comedy, comedians are like talk show host.
There's a lot of envy, backstabbing, jealousy.
But yet, you have endured.
Please take off this snake oil ridiculous picture of me.
Yeah, da-da-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta.
Sorry, go ahead.
But you have endured.
Yes, thank you.
Okay. Chris Farley, by the way, I think people loved,
I think there was a sense that Chris, it was a balushy feel where it was wild and there was a timeline on it.
Rest in peace.
100%.
But there are comedians that there's no animosity toward.
You get a long, you've lasted a dude forever.
You've been doing this for 35, 30 years.
Easy.
Well, over 10.
Let's just relax on the, everyone doing.
the calculations in their head.
Well, I, luckily, you know, it's a lot of luck.
It's a lot of things.
But like we were saying earlier, you have to, it's a constant audition, everything you do,
if someone sees me do five minutes at the comedy store, they, that might be the only time
they've ever seen me in their life, and I was either good or bad.
And someone could see me on this and go, he's not that good.
So it's too humbling to be too cocky about it.
And every year, Chris Rock would say, you know, this movie did well.
he goes, the wrong missy bought you six more months in showbiz.
And that's it's really all it does.
You get one more swing, and if that doesn't work, they say, beat it, you know.
So we all keep trying and we try different things.
That's why, you know, hopefully do that movie with Theo would be fun.
And then we have the podcast.
Then we're talking about a TV show.
So you just have to keep doing that because you just don't know when it's all going to fall apart.
Snake Oil airs tonight after the mass singer on Fox.
So David will occasionally...
Is that answer too long?
No. Email me and he'll let me go to the Hermosa Beach comedy.
Oh, yeah, we did. He came down and saw me and it was super fine.
You're always nice.
And they call it a comedy and magic show. I've never seen a magician there.
It's more comedy and magic. I'm going to give it away right now.
Okay. By the way, how do you guys view magicians?
Don't start this feud up. No, I'm sorry.
No, magicians, I think they're great. I see him on AGT.
And I've seen him. I saw Shimlam. I think his name is it.
Oh, no, he's good.
He's great.
And so I'm always baffled by magic.
I like it.
And I don't want to figure it out.
I like it.
I never try to figure it out.
There's no point.
I've taken my son to about six of them.
I've seen strings a couple times with the card stuff.
It's good entertainment.
And the fact that they don't mess up every time, it is a trick, but you can do it that well.
Good for you.
Do you ever get nervous doing stand-up?
This show, do you do?
When you're out there, you're nervous.
Get nervous coming here.
I get nervous any time you're on doing anything just because you want to do something right,
You want to put some thought into it, and you don't want to walk through it.
And any appearance and stand-up, I just did, you know, on tour, we were on all weekend,
and every show you feel, you don't feel sick, but you go, okay, everyone's paying a lot.
Full theater, let's give them a good show, and you can't get lazy about that.
That's very adult.
You just want to stay in the biz.
Say it again.
Will you always like that?
I think I came, broke, I grew up broke, and when you get some chances to do all right,
you realize you don't want to go back.
And so I think I just, the mom told me, you know,
just always work hard.
Your bus boy work hard.
Everything, just try to be good at it and hold your head up.
And so this is a hard business, obviously.
And so I'm just trying to keep a flow.
By the way, I'm sinking, is this chair made of quicksand?
You know, I saw this at Z Gallery.
I almost bought it and I was like, anyway, it's fine.
I'm touching the ground.
I'm touching the ground.
I have a great parlay.
for you this weekend. Thanks to Draft King Sportsbook. New users use the code heard, H-E-R-D when you
download the app. All right, here's my parlay pick of the week via Draft King Sportsbook.
Commanders plus eight at the Eagles. Philly on a short week due to Monday night football.
Commanders division game. They run the ball, humiliated by Buffalo. Teams humiliated play better
the next week. Eagles may win. I'll take the eight. Browns at home minus two and a half against
the injury riddled Ravens.
The best team in the league nobody's watching or cares about.
I don't know how Baltimore moves the ball consistently.
I'll take the Browns minus two and a half.
I'll take the Rams plus one against the Colts.
Gardner Minshu feels good.
What a story.
Rams played very poorly.
They'll get the details and the run game back.
They're a better team than the Colts.
Rams plus one.
If you want to take the herd parlay, check out Draft King Sportsbook.
New users.
Use the code, Hurd, when you down.
Download the app.
and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way,
this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard,
but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes
of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
and the next we'll talk about life,
mental health, purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast.
It's a space for honest conversations,
stories that don't always get told,
and for people who are chasing something bigger.
So, if you've ever supported me
or you're just chasing down a dream,
this is right where you need to be.
Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

Do you remember when Diana Ross
double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table.
right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
I don't think
there's a more important year for black people.
Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the
most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts. Well, we had a really
uncomfortable couch, which you mocked us
and said, remember that line? I come here. I look at this on TV and I
go, ow, my back hurts. Before I even come on
the show. So we had an uncomfortable
couch. We split it in two and now it's two uncomfortable chairs.
No, it's fine. This place, we'll have a garage show. We'll start from scratch.
I've got a few ideas, but I like the yellow. It pops.
Ooh, it fits with snake oil.
So, snake oils tonight.
Okay, snake oils tonight. It's after the mass singer.
When you do your podcast with Dana Carvey, so it works.
Okay, you could have chosen a thousand guys. You could have chosen a guy that's not funny.
Yeah.
Why? Like, for instance, Bateman and Will Arnette.
There's chemistry.
Why does it work?
You know, the Bateman podcast works, and it's sort of cobbled together where I wouldn't have put those three guys together.
And it works.
Exactly.
And it shows you what I don't.
Not that I wouldn't.
It just I wasn't aware of it once I heard about it.
I go, oh, this is kind of fun, you know?
And it works really well.
Dana, I've always thought about doing a podcast on my own.
And then I thought it's just too competitive.
There's three millioners.
There's over three million.
So I said, well, if I get a guy that's good.
and Dana and I would eat dinner at Koi every, you know, once every week or two.
And we all would laugh and we'd wind up telling SNL stories.
Right.
And then Kevin Neal would come or Dennis Miller.
We go, you know, maybe we should do it.
Me and you do one.
And then it's sort of safety in numbers.
And then you know people, I know people.
And then people love Dana.
I mean, if you're on SNL, he was one of the top ten of all times.
One of the sweetest guys.
And he's a sweetheart, and he's just fun to do it with.
So we wound up doing it.
And then that, we have a big Phil Hartman remembrance this week on the show.
and we have all these Bill Hader and Will Ferrell.
A lot of people came back to come back on
and talk about how great Phil was.
So it was the anniversary of his...
He passed away years ago.
Yeah.
But anyway, the show has been a blast for me.
We might even do a spin-off.
Yeah, don't worry about it.
And this big announcement to come...
We'll downplay it.
Yeah.
We haven't talked about sports yet.
I don't know why, because I seem athletic.
Like, you know, I don't want to go into that space.
What did you make Aaron Rogers trying to do Jeopardy?
Turn off, or you're okay?
I thought, what if he got it?
Would he have quit?
I don't know.
Well, no, because you can do it in the summer.
All they do is tape it in the summer.
Aaron Summers are ayahuasca, and have you ever done that?
I know you've done some stuff.
Have you done ayahuasca?
Where Colin was right?
No, I mean, you've done some stuff.
I have, Colin.
Obviously, I'm not this beat up for no reason.
So would you do Iowaosa?
Crow's feet.
I wouldn't do iwaska.
The later I get,
I used to do a little power flower here and there,
a little sniffy jiffy.
But that was in the early days.
That was when I was just having fun.
But those days are long gone because I couldn't handle it after a long time.
And I realized also you have to show up at work.
You have to be good.
And those rumors get around and they hurt you.
They'll let you get away with it for a while in the business if you're great.
Have you ever been on stage and a little?
Yeah.
I have a few knocks, you know,
before I go on, just do stand-up, and then one night I was a little too buzzed, and it kind of
made me scared because I was like, what if I can't remember these crummy jokes?
Paranoid.
Yeah.
No, I get it.
And so I said I got to shape up and, you know, it was no big deal, but it's just those things,
I can't do really anything anymore.
So no ayahuasca.
Okay.
Because I would, I'm not a bungee jumper or an ayahuasca person.
I'm not a big risk taker.
No.
But you're a performer.
No, I'm boring because I, at a certain point, I just couldn't even get.
that drunk anymore. It's a bummer when you start to go. I got to pull back across the board.
And then it's a little more boring. But I'm fun at parties for about 40 minutes. That's what the
data shows. David Spade, Emmy Noms, Golden Globe Noms, hosts fly on the wall with Dana Carvey.
It's called Snake Oil tonight after the mass singer on Fox. It's always great pleasure to see you.
Thank you, buddy.
You at Hermosa next. Oh, I don't go there for well. I'm going back. I'm new in Vegas this weekend.
and then the tour keeps chugging along.
But Hermos is a blast.
I love it.
Comedy Manager Club.
Thank you.
Good to see you.
By the way, we got breaking news.
Yeah, let's go.
Can I sit for it?
Yeah, let me hear.
Sit for it.
Jay Mack with the news.
I want real reactions for me.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
Let's go to David Spade for his initial reaction.
Damien Lillard, the star in Portland, has been traded to the Milwaukee
Buck.
Low way, who's he?
Love this.
By the way, Dave doesn't play defense, so he goes to a huge.
team that can protect the rim.
It's a great move.
That's a good initial reaction.
You're a Phoenix Sun's guy, right?
Yes.
Yes.
So they're in on the deal.
Okay.
So you said, Nurkich.
Okay, slow down here.
What now?
What?
The Phoenix Sun's part of this three-way deal, get Nirkich,
Grayson Allen.
Okay.
Nassir Little Kian Johnson.
Kind of a poop-patter.
What does Portland get?
Portland gets Drew Holiday.
I love him.
Defensive guard.
DeAndre Aton.
Somebody's name I can't perhaps.
Oh, is DeAndre.
Is DeAndre Aton?
The Blazer.
Wow.
Now, he was a little bit of a trouble guy.
Yeah, he's a video.
He plays video games.
Well, whatever.
He's a kid.
With Kyler.
Okay, so time out.
So the Blazers get a total pro who plays both young guards don't play defense.
Holidays that grown up plays defense.
I like to explain it to me.
And they get.
In basketball.
Yes, go ahead.
So, keep going.
Portland.
And so they get Dame.
And what else do they get?
The bucks get Damon.
That's it.
I've got to tell you something.
Portland did pretty well on that deal.
Yeah.
So you have all those young guards.
Now you get one that defends in Drew Holiday, who will be the team captain, team leader.
You get Swift's athleticism.
I like Nurkich, but he doesn't run the floor like D'Andre Swift.
Typical Nurkich.
And then Nurkich, who has talent, he's a good player.
He goes down to Phoenix.
Phoenix is about Bradley Beal, Durant.
That's not about a center.
Do you have season tickets to the Suns?
I do not, but I want to call and go because I love going to the Suns.
I grew up there when the old Dick Van Arsdale Day is Connie Hartfish.
Dan Marley.
Van Arsdale's Cotton Fitzsimmons.
Gar Hurd, Paul Westfall, Alan Adams.
Kevin Durant is on the team.
One of the guys dates Kardashian.
I'm sure you've got some stuff in the holster on them.
Who does?
Devin Booker was dating Kendall Jenner.
De Boehbock is dating Kendall Jenner.
I think they broke up.
It was devastating for the NBA community.
Okay, so tell me if I'm wrong.
Milwaukee gets the star, and he's a great fit because they have size.
Yeah.
Portland.
I just think, you know what?
Phoenix didn't care.
Phoenix wanted to get,
they wanted to get him out of the building.
Aiton?
Yeah, they just wanted him out of the building for chemistry.
That's about Bradley Beal, Book and Durant.
That's the team.
So forget, Phoenix is going to be good regardless.
They're going to be great.
Milwaukee wanted a go-to-dependable shooter and score.
To keep Yannis long-term, because he said,
are you guys trying to keep me?
And Portland crushed it.
Drew Holliday is a complete pro both ends.
Those young guards aren't going to play any defense.
Dave didn't play.
And I loved it.
So the Scoot Henderson going to play out a lot.
No, they're kids.
They don't play defense.
So I get a total adult.
And then I get DeAndre Swift's athletic.
Portland is now a really interesting team.
Wow.
Yeah, they're going to be spicy.
Listen, once I realized this breaking news wasn't about Taylor Swift.
I sort of tuned out.
How did you get through this with no Taylor Swift jokes?
Come on.
I didn't.
I saw that Romeo and Juliet playing out at the game last weekend.
It was great.
You liked it.
It was interesting.
I don't.
It's interesting because he's a stud.
Obviously, it's like, you know, it's like king and queen of the prom.
Right, right, right.
But the football game was like a backdrop.
It was so weird.
It was so announced and so well known.
And for people that famous, that usually isn't how it works.
It's usually more played under.
Soutle.
And I felt.
But the game was crap.
That was a little itchy.
Also, you know, she's in the box with the mom.
Who meets the mom after, you know, four days?
But that's fine.
And then when he scored a touchdown, the funniest was, she's like, yeah.
I'm like, it's like they do.
The normal reaction would be like, oh my God, the guy that does this every week, did it again.
And they were like, no, bigger on this take.
Like, go nuts.
You've known him six minutes.
Go crazy.
And she was like crashing through the window.
It's like, she's like, this guy.
So I thought it was all very interesting.
I don't know.
I don't know if they're dating.
I think.
I don't know what's going to.
They're good for each other's careers.
She has a movie coming out.
It doesn't need any help, but she hasn't.
coming out. He has a show and
he doesn't need any help. I don't know what it is.
It's just all, it's a little out of the Kardashian
playbook, but I don't know.
So, I'm just, we're staying
on this story. Okay, thank you.
Thank you. And then we appreciate you
staying on that. You're all Walter Cronkopf.
Do I get to leave now or do I stay for something? You can do whatever you want.
Why don't we keep him? We got a good Steelers story here.
Oh, good. I know you care about the Pittsburgh Steelers
offense. I mean, they've been atrocious. Matt Canada,
close to getting fired. But, you know, after that win,
Mike Tomlin believes, you know, the Steelers have the building
blocks for further success. We're getting better. Everyone better be getting better regardless of the
outcome of games. Obviously you better do enough to win the games but but there's some components to
get better. The planning component, the coach component, the playing component and then the adjustment
component. We've been dealing with all of those things and everyone does. But I just want to be
really clear about just everyone's still very much in development as are we and I saw some signs
there to build upon in the midst of earning the victory. Single best quote in professional sports
within 15 seconds. Mike Tomlin literally writes a column lead with every bite. I've never seen a
coach who's better in 12 to 18 seconds every time. That was a little word salad, you know? Not really.
I kind of understood. I followed it. What's the
their record.
Winning record. Two and one, their offense
struggles, defense is unbelievable. What's new?
They're playing Houston this weekend. Is Pittsburgh a good
comedy city?
You know what's funny? Not really.
I haven't played Pittsburgh
and I don't know. I just played Wilkesbury
this weekend. I don't think I played Pittsburgh
in years. How's Wilkesbury?
Yeah.
It's a plane a car
than a covered wagon and
it was actually a really good
crowd so sometimes the tour takes me a little zigzag it was it was New York City and in there
but it was good I crushed other people's word and it was fun I think I'm gonna bail because I'm
starting to like drag your show down no we don't no no no no I'm getting texts from family
members watch oh they are spade is crushing they're like oh my god spade is sinking lower
did you have one quick question before the third story yes you you do big events now did you ever
have to at some point your career do like an orange Julius or
a mall or anything.
I mean, because you've always done big stuff in my life.
I, when I auditioned for Star Search, it was at the mall in Arizona.
And I, by the way, the worst part was I thought I got it.
I was horrible.
And I'm like, I'll be over by Chats King if there's any new news.
No, we don't even remember who that was.
Yeah.
So that's it.
But then, since then, it's whatever.
They stopped listening.
Okay.
Third story.
Come on.
Come on.
Dave.
Staying around.
It looks exhausted here.
No, because just chairs giving me spinal biff in it.
But keep going.
All right.
The Giants, Sequois Barkley.
He's day-to-day.
Andrew Thomas also likely to return for the big game against Seattle.
Spade, who you got in this one?
Seattle.
So they get healthy finally.
New York Giants.
And they have extra time to prep, don't they?
Indeed.
Wait, I thought, who is Chiefs playing this weekend?
Chiefs Jens.
Oh, because they are there in New York.
Okay.
Okay.
I think I probably like the Giants on this one.
One and a half point favorite?
I don't know.
When's the last time you did Seattle?
This affects fantasy.
Is Barclay playing?
Is there a thing?
Yes.
Sequon's playing, and they have a good left tackle.
Wait, do you do fantasy football?
Oh, yeah.
Do I crush at it?
Yeah.
Is that the question?
There's always someone that goes, I won my league once.
I'm like, mathematically, everybody wins.
It's the dumbest thing.
But I am really into it.
So I like it.
And I don't have Sequan, but I am excited.
Who's your quarterback?
Mm-hmm.
Heard of them?
No, you know, you get Mahomes then.
We have two quarterbacks.
Who?
Oh, who's my other one?
Yeah.
All right, enough trick questions.
No, you knew who's in my league, Matthew Barry's.
Well, you're screwed.
Matthew Barry's like machine.
Is this the Howard Stern League?
No, this is a guillotine league.
You know what that is?
No.
The worst score is out.
out for the year.
Oh, yeah, one of those.
So you're playing literally just everyone else.
You're just trying to live.
And it's a great story.
Let's look at a clip.
All right, Jay Mack with the news.
Good job.
Is Jay Mack over?
That was this?
Jay Mack's over.
Good job, dude.
All right, I'll see myself out.
David Spade after the big show,
snake oil tonight.
He's been great.
Good seeing you, buddy.
We appreciate it.
We take a break back after this.

Pauly Fusco here with Tony Fusco.
Yo, of course you know us as the host of the number one rated show
in all the sports talk, the Pauley and Tony Fusco show.
Yeah.
Now the suits at Fox Sports Radio gave us this air time
because they wanted us to tell you how great our show is.
Why?
Yeah, instead of us doing that, let's just let our millions of fans do the talking.
Yeah, play the tape.
You don't know crap about our...
I'm like, why am I even own this crap?
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
That's the wrong tape.
Wrong tape.
Just forget that.
Look, listen to the Pauline Tony Fusco show on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'll say it.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions,
my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger,
than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfiltered conversations
with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve
to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes
of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
and the next we'll talk about life,
mental health, purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast.
It's a space for honest conversations,
stories that don't always get told,
and for people who are chasing something big.
So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right, big deal.
Dame Lillard is going to Milwaukee.
Clearly the Bucks front office listened to Yonis talking about, you know, not being in Milwaukee forever.
We've got to take big swings.
So they go out and get him Dame next to Steph Curry,
one of the, maybe the best shot maker for a small guy in the league.
He's not known as a great defender.
Janice, big front court for Milwaukee.
So Dame fits perfectly.
Portland gets from, they get DeAndre Aiton from Phoenix, gives them athleticism.
Portland also gets Drew Holiday and some picks.
Now, there are stories, woe saying the Blazers like Scoot Henderson,
Anthony Simon, Shaden Sharp their guards.
They're going to move Holiday.
I think he actually fits really well, but they're guard heavy, so they're going to move Drew Holiday.
For the sons, it doesn't matter.
They're about Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Durant.
They just need a big.
So Phoenix is going to be fine regardless.
This is about Portland rebuilding, getting very athletic.
I don't know how many shots DeAndre Aiton will get, but he always felt like a lost guy with Booker and Durant.
He'll get more looks offensively, and that's what I think Aiton wants.
and the bucks take a big swing and get Dame
who's got at least two great years left.
What do you make of it?
So for the Suns, real quick,
they had no depth last year.
Remember against the Nuggets?
Like Katie would go to the bench,
they would fall apart.
So Allen at least could give you 15, 20 off the bench.
I love this trade for Portland because now you move Holiday.
There's already speculation Miami and the L.A. Clippers.
Remember, Clippers want James Hardin.
They were like, we'll take Hardin.
There's no deal.
You get Drew Holiday, give up, you know, role players,
and some draft picks.
So you could have Jimmy Butler, Drew Holiday,
and Bamadabayu.
In Miami.
That's a really good team.
With the Clippers, it's Drew Holiday,
Paul George Kauai Leonard.
On the wing defensively,
you're locking down everybody.
So Drew Holiday is going to have a market.
There's a savvy move for Portland.
I think the Blazers are big winners in this team.
Yeah, no, I like what Portland did.
Dame's been banged up, smaller player,
probably doesn't have three to four good years left.
Drew Holiday,
listen, if Miami gets Drew Holiday,
instead of Dame, I know you look at it and go,
well, that worries us.
I got news for you.
You'd have a wing, you have Bam with size, Butler the great athlete, Drew the great adult, plus Drew Holiday would fit in Miami.
He's such a grown-up.
He's such a pro.
I don't know if Miami has anything Portland wants.
Remember, they wanted Dame and there was no deal.
But the Clippers, I think, are making, Drew Holiday, you know, like, Clippers, that's a professional.
He's going to stand up in the locker room to Paul, Georgia, Kauai.
Be like, guys, we got to play, you know.
Damn it, this is not great for the Lakers.
I will tell you this.
I would be excited as a blazer.
Milwaukee had to make a move, and they got a shotmaker,
which Chris Middleton has gotten banged up.
He's hot and cold.
Drew Holliday is a good offensive player,
but he's not the shotmaker, Damis.
So Milwaukee's a better team.
Portland is a better team and has a great future.
It's nothing to get.
Grayson Allen's nice off the bench.
Phoenix got him, and that's good.
That's a nice player.
And they needed a bench component.
But I think Phoenix is about three guys
and being able to, you know, have one of those guys take the night off occasionally.
With Grayson Allen, now you can.
You can get points off.
Everybody won this to some degree.
But I'm telling you, Portland's future is, depending on what they get for Drew Holiday,
Portland's really got an interesting team.
Never underestimate the power of NBA stars.
Two months ago, Janice talks to the New York Times and says,
hey, I'm not committing anything long term.
I got to see commitment from Milwaukee.
What do they do?
They go out and do a blockbuster trade for Damien Lillard.
Janus, please stay with us.
We just don't see this in the NFL, Colin.
NFL stars don't get to call their shot.
Janice said, I want help publicly.
He gets help two months later.
Well, I do think, I will say this.
I know Dame wanted to go to Miami.
But Janus is better than anybody Miami has.
And Janus is still in his prime.
I mean, Butler plays hard.
You know, I mean, Jimmy Butler's career, he plays so hard.
Bam isn't close to me to Janus.
So Dame gets his greatest teammate ever, a team that's got a winning history.
I got to tell you this, a lot of winners here.
A lot of dubs.
A lot of dubs here.
It's the herd.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.

We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
