Well, he was a multiple-time pro-Boulder, Super Bowl 50 champion, 12 years in the NFL. A lot of them
with the Broncos, Steedars, one with Kyle Shanahan and the Niners. The biggest, he's got a new
podcast with Chris Harris.
called the matchup with Chris Harris Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders. He's now joining us live in his pod
studio. As somebody that has a little pod business, it looks like he's got his act together here.
I like, oh, look at that framing. It's very, very good. You know, I want to talk about San Francisco
and Seattle. JSN is a fascinating receiver. And I want you to talk about a lot of times you get this.
Like I can usually see why a guy's great, like Pukonakua, long and physical. You can see it.
Calvin Johnson, size and speed, Randy Ma, same.
And then you get a JSN, and you're like, well, how much is he weigh?
He's not a 4-3 guy.
When you watch JSN, what do you see that separates him?
He's a silky smooth, and he understands leverage.
In the back end of my career, I felt like I got better because the game kind of slowed down to me, and I slowed down.
You know, sometimes coaches, we're preaching, go full speed, go full speed.
full speed, goes full speed.
But JSN, he kind of plays a three-quarter speed
and he can manipulate his speeds on guys,
which kind of puts his strain on the defensive back
because it feels as if he's going full speed.
But the last minute, he changes a whole other gear
and it kind of catches you by surprise, you know?
And not only, yeah, he knows how to attack you
and he has a good officer coordinator that knows his strengths,
that's playing those strengths.
But he's definitely, right now on my podcast,
they've got a top 10 receiver list,
and he's number one on my list.
because how he's sending guys up,
and it seems like a hundred-yard game is just easy for him these days.
You played, you had your second, I think, highest career average
when you played for the Niners,
and Kyle Shanahan has always been a guy that very much takes pride in physicality
and scheming guys open.
I like Brock Purdy.
Am I shocked a little?
He's the best quarterback in the league right now?
Probably.
But take my audience,
take my audience, Emmanuel,
to what?
what Kyle does that can make, I mean, Garoppolo got to a Super Bowl.
Purdy's been outstanding.
What does he do schematically that helps quarterback so much?
Well, first of all, you know, and I always talk about this.
Bo Nix was blessed to get drafted with Sean Payton.
And look, this is no discredit to Brock Purdy, but he was blessed to get drafted with Kyle Shanahan.
I think any quarterback can sit back and say that, man, like to have Kyle Shanahan as a officer coordinator is a win.
And so, yeah, Brock Purdy, he has a lot of skills,
but it's a lot to do with Kyle Shannon and his play calling.
I remember when I got traded to Stan Fran,
like even when I was on the routes that I was running and the plays that I was running,
I found myself wide open,
and I really didn't have to do too much because the officer coordinator
was putting me in a position to make those plays, you know?
I remember it was a Thursday night game.
It was two games after I got traded.
I had like 120 yards against the Cardinals.
And I remember after the game, everybody patted me on the back, and I walked up to Kyle, and I said, man, I said, I love you being my officer coordinator.
I said, because you just, you know what's coming from the defense, and you put me in position to win.
And so that's what Brock Party is doing.
That's what George Kittle is in.
That's where Debo's in.
Debo's being revamped.
Now he went out to Washington, and now he's back, and he's back being Debo, because at the end of the day, I see, I tell people all the time.
Officer coordinator is almost like playing Madden against the guy.
You've got some guys that know what to do with the sticks.
You've got some guys that don't know what to do with the sticks, right?
And they end up losing.
Kyle Shanahan is one of those guys that know what to do with the sticks.
He's a hell of a play call him.
So the Bone Nick's quandary is fascinating, Emmanuel,
because he's very good late and he's completely inefficient early.
And I don't say this very often.
I think he throws the ball a beat too early.
Now, some have criticized Burrow for whole.
holding onto the ball too long.
But I can see where Joe Burrow would talk himself into, well, it's Jamar Chase and Higgins.
I'm going to give them an extra beat.
They're hard enough to cover.
If I give them a half an extra beat, they're even tougher to cover.
Like, I understand that.
Bo Nix has Jalen Wattle, Cortland Sutton, good tight ends, and he's thrown to the backs nonstop.
Does he lack confidence?
Does he not want to get hit?
Like I just feel like he's letting the ball go actually too soon.
That's what I see.
What do you see?
Yeah, I mean, look, we all see the same thing.
When I watched the Niners game, the first thing I said,
man, he's checking it down a lot.
Now, I've had the pleasure of playing with Sean Payton in New Orleans
and a quarterback by the name of Drew Breeze,
who also, you know, kind of checked it down every now and then, you know.
So, you know, in my mind, I'm wondering if that's kind of shine telling him,
hey, look, if you're not seeing the field, check it down.
And if we can get in third and two, that's better than third and eight, you know.
but at some point you've got to make certain throws
and fit it in tight windows in order to score points.
It just can't be checked down,
checked down all the time, you know?
So this is going to be real interesting.
I think that even, you know,
Bo Nix having Davis Webb in his ear
instead of Sean Payton in his ear,
I think that was an adjustment for him as well.
I think that Bose probably,
and here's the thing, I was with Davis Webb and Buffalo.
I love the guy.
I remember my second day in Buffalo.
He brought me to playbook
and was calling me and trying to teach me to playbook,
book and I'm with Sean.
Someday this guy is going to be a head coach because he wants it really, really bad.
But I think right now, like for play calling in Denver, I think, you know, you've got a Super Bowl
caliber team.
I think Sean is in back and saying, hey, look, instead of doing this experiment right now,
I think the time is now for me to call the plays and try to get us to the Super Bowl
and win it.
You know, it's interesting.
I'm watching the Cowboys and you have CD and you've got Giovante Williams and you have
DAC, you have a good old line, you have George Pickens.
and outside of the first drive, boy, they laid an egg last night.
Now, it's a Thursday night game.
But the Tampa Bay rookie quarterback on a short week on the road, it was pretty good.
When a team lays an egg like that on a Thursday, I tend to blame coaches, not players,
because players are still sore until Thursday morning.
Like, I don't expect players on a Thursday to be as good.
So if a team plays poorly like Dallas did with the fumbles and the drops,
I tend to, I kind of like point at the coaching staff.
Mike Tomlin, by the way, I think, isn't he great on Thursday?
Like some of the better coaches are great on Thursday or Monday Night Football.
When you watch Dallas with all that talent, just be a mess.
What do you see?
What happens in that short week?
I see a new defensive coordinator.
I see a defense that can't stop anyone.
And, you know, as bad as you want to blame it, you know, on the coaches.
I say, where is the leadership on the county?
Cowboys offense as well, right?
You know, George Pickens played really, really well, but I can't believe the CD didn't have at least over 50 yards.
I think he had two yards, if I'm not mistaken, or two catches or something.
I mean, just watching that game, if I would say it prior to the game,
the Bucks having a rookie quarterback that Dallas would win that game by a lot of points as they're supposed to,
I would have said, yeah.
But the fact that they came out of that game and lost, that was surprising, especially being at home.
But I'm seeing a Cowboys team because I think about even a Giants game where they kept allowing the running back to flare out.
And they ran that plate over and over and over again and never made the proper adjustments.
And so I'm seeing a team right now from the coaches, from the players, they're just not on the same page and not making the proper adjustments to win games.
And, you know, I had a lot of, I've had a lot of hopes, especially for this offense with Jake Ferguson and Williams and Pickings and CD.
But it seems like right now this office is kind of up and down and they have the defense with a new defensive coordinator.
So it's, you know, you've got a good offense and the defense is struggling, but it seems like both sides of the football is struggling right now.
So that's a recipe for disaster.
You know, I was saying this about Matt LaFleur.
is that when he got the job, I called a couple of sources, and they said in Tennessee that Vravel was sort of the physical and verbal presence, and LaFleur was kind of quiet, and they didn't know if LaFleur would be a front and center, you know, have that kind of culture and that factor.
It doesn't mean you have to be big.
I mean, Ben Johnson has it.
Sean Payton has it.
Like, Sean McVeigh has it.
Like, they bring a personality.
And I watch Green Bay and LaFleur's soft-spoken, and he's a nice guy.
I don't doubt he's smart.
I don't doubt he knows football.
Go to your career.
Go to the coaches that really own the locker room.
Are there certain coaches in your career or coordinators?
They're just not built to be head coaches.
They're just, they don't command the room.
Like Ben Johnson, you watch his post-game stuff.
I'd want to run through a wall for him.
It just comes through my phone.
Did you ever have coaches that you're like, oh, I'll do anything for that coach?
And then a guy that was not inspiring.
Yeah, I mean, you got rock, right, right coaches, but some of my favorite coaches were the guys that was kind of chill.
Now, I really didn't talk too much, but when they spoke, their words were powerful and there was truthful.
And June Jones was one of my coaches that coached me at SMU.
He didn't really talk too much.
And then Gary Kubiak, the coach in 2015, when we won a Super Bowl, he didn't say too much.
And when I see Gary, it's just some of my heart that I just know that the guy loves me.
And so I think that when it comes running through walls for coaches, it's not so much to Rara.
It's how you manage your players and how you take care of your players and how you treat your players.
And that's what makes your players want to run through a wall for you.
And so when I see even Ben Johnson, he seems like he's a guy's guy.
But he's one of those guys that, like, you can tell that he cares about you.
He loves ball.
And, like, he's just one of those guys.
And I haven't really had the pleasure of being around Matt LaFloor much, but I have been around
his brother.
And I got a lot of love for his brother, too.
His brother is the head coach now to Arizona Cardinals.
And so I got a lot of love for those guys, too.
Obviously, what's going on to Green Bay.
I thought Green Bay would be playing a lot better than what they are playing.
But, you know, they got the bears coming out to Lambo with a young.
quarterback. So we'll see if they can handle business. But I tell you what, man. Hey,
the Bears is one of my favorite teams. And it comes from Ben Johnson. And it's play call
and how he has these guys playing there. Just fun to watch. So that's going to be an interesting game.
Emmanuel Sanders, along with Chris Harris Jr., the matchup, wherever podcasts are listened to.
It's great to see as always, Emmanuel. I appreciate it.
Vice versa, Colin. Thank you for everything, man. Thank you for having.
You bet. Two-time Pro Bowl or 12 years in the NFL.
There's a lot of good coaches.
You know, Mike Ditka passed today.
It used to almost as a rule.
Broadcasters were quirkier and coaches were quirkier.
And it was more kind of accepted that you could be authentic and raw and sometimes inappropriate.
Everything's kind of smushed in the middle more now.
And the media is just ubiquitous.
It's multiple platforms.
It's coming from everywhere.
Everybody's got a phone to take a pay.
If you have a drink at a bar and you're a coach, somebody takes a picture of it.
You know, you're getting called into the office.
The world's changed.
There's less privacy.
But Mike Ditka, who passed away, was a very public coach.
Ditka's steakhouse downtown.
I mean, I'm looking at people talking about Mike Ditka today who passed away.
Just, it was very public.
You know, and you know when they were great, for four years, they were the dominant defense in the NFL.
You know he was getting mobbed everywhere he went.
But it was a different time.
Nobody had phones.
You know, you just didn't have, you could hide a little bit and maybe have an extra cocktail, sit down, wobble out, have a great life.
And, you know, it was just a different time.
And I think Ditka's one of those coaches that uniquely connected with the city in which he coached.
He uniquely connected with Chicagoans.
And so the best of his family, Mike Ditka, has passed away.

next. They'll share their stories including not just the winds that we all see, but the moments
they had to persevere through when everyone counted them out. People like the co-founder of Buddy's
Coffee, Rachel, who quickly went from being a New York Times success story to facing eviction.
Being, you know, deemed a successful business by like, you know, this is New York Times, like,
as like a Puerto Rican girl from New York who didn't finish college. He was like, I was like,
holy crap, like, I'm finally doing something. Like, maybe this is all working out.
And then that day when the landlord comes in, it's like, you like, you like,
it all over that idea and he stepped on me.

Here is JMAQ with the news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
All right, Colin, we were on this early.
We identified Sean Payton as the guy who's probably going to take back play calling.
He made it official yesterday for the surprise of that.
nobody. Remember all the optimism this
off season about Davis Webb?
It was like, oh, can't let him out of the building.
Davis Webb. Yeah, it lasted four games.
They are awful in the first quarter, meaning
the scripted stuff. And it didn't get any better in the second
half. They are 27th in total yards per game.
29th in Rush.
None of it's working, and here's Peyton on the decision.
We'll make a change offensively.
I'll call the plays.
I know I understand the questions at the start of the week.
And I want to say this first.
And I said it to Davis the other day talking to him.
I've done this long enough where I know when I have a future head coach and he's going to be one.
Like all the things that it's hard to find will happen.
In fact, the same thing to some degree, a little bit different, you know, happened to myself early in my career.
Yeah, I think it's harder than people think because Sean has been historically loyal to his coaches.
He upgrades to Davis Webb.
He gives them an opportunity and has to take it back.
Sean Payton didn't want to take it back.
He wanted it to work.
And I'll say this.
I think this is more on Bo Nix than it is Davis Webb or Sean Payton.
What I am seeing is a quarterback that doesn't want to make a mistake.
He's a little tight.
I think his personality's intense.
There's a little anxiety there.
and I it's not always I mean this this offense struggled last year they trailed in 15 games last year it's not like this just surfaced this is a this is a one and a half year problem they can't move the ball in their first three or four possessions so we can blame davis webb I don't think you know sometimes it is the player and not the coach yeah and that's the easy stuff the scripted drive you saw Dallas last night get the ball Bing bang boom chutzed it was great and listen Tampa got the ball and of course
because the Cowboys defense kept committing stupid penalties on third down,
11-minute drive for Tampa.
Like, that's the stuff you practice all week,
so you get out of the gate strong.
And Denver's not doing that,
and a quarterback in his third year?
So, listen, I'm not going to crush Davis Webb,
I don't know him at all.
Clearly, it wasn't working,
and Peyton grabbing it in week four,
a bit of a surprise.
I do wonder, do you think there's anything that it has to do with the Chargers here?
This is a winless Chargers team.
Isn't this a get right spot for Davis Webb and Loe Nix?
I don't think they get right.
I don't think that's not who they are.
I mean, you know it's going to be low scoring in the first half.
I think it's going to be a very, very low scoring game.
Fewest, you know, Chargers and Herbert have committed more turnovers.
To me, Buck's Chargers feels 2017 and fewer mistakes.
It's not last team with the ball wins.
It's the fewest mistakes win that game.
Let's go to your next up is your Chicago Bay.
Bears.
Crappy news for the Bears this weekend.
Kyle Menungai, the battering ram of a running back who I think had a buck 46 on my jets
last week.
He is out.
Caleb Williams is out as well.
Obviously with the hamstring.
Here's the problem with Caleb Williams, Colin.
They're starting to wonder when he's going to come back.
So looking at the schedule, week six seems unlikely.
And then week seven is a Thursday night game.
Quick turnaround.
Also seems unlikely.
So now we're looking at week eight.
Remember this was a one or two week thing?
It never is.
Don't ever believe these teams when they say that.
So Caleb will not be back really anytime soon.
That's the vibe in Chicago.
I'm looking at this game.
This was one that the model identified.
However, this Kalmanungai injury is big.
I've done a deep dive.
We're going to do in headlines, Bears Packer.
So I'm going to say some of my best stuff.
Your thoughts on Caleb being out for a few more weeks.
Yeah.
People mocked him.
He's a strong athlete.
Strong athletes in their athletic prime heel quickly.
It's been a month now.
He's not playing like three weeks now.
And he's not going to play for two more weeks.
So maybe the injury shouldn't have been mocked.
Maybe it was a bit more serious than people let on.
So usually if it was a slight hamstring pull, you're back in three weeks.
He's not even practicing after three weeks.
So that's a pretty good indication.
This injury for a guy that never gets hurt was serious.
Yeah. Mildly surprised they just didn't put him on the IR for four weeks, free up a roster spot.
I don't know, man.
Ben Johnson, this guy, who, the more you see him talk and the way he handles things and backup quarterbacks,
I don't know how Detroit let him out of the building, man.
What a catastrophe in Detroit.
Well, they had a head coach they liked.
Well, I don't know.
Okay, Colin.
Speaking of Detroit, let's go to the Lions and wrap up here.
Detroit Lions going to Arizona this week.
Interesting game.
It did not make my card here, but I don't know.
We'll see.
Kevin, the D.C. Shepherd, he is under major fire for having the worst defense in the league.
Bryce Young carved him up.
And here is an interaction yesterday with the media and the Lions, D.C.
What can you do schematically to make those blitzes more effective?
Those calls were the right calls.
Those calls were the right calls.
and I leave it at that.
Last Sunday, then Shep, when Bryce Young goes eight for nine against the blitz,
what's the disconnect between the calls and the execution?
Those are private conversations that we have that I'm going to keep in-house.
Those calls were the right calls.
Don't like this at all, Colin.
Why would you be defiant and dig your heels in and be like, we made the right calls?
Listen, when we screw up here, we admit it, right?
Well, I think, remember, like he said,
The calls were right.
The player was wrong.
He doesn't want to call out individual players.
So coaches get trapped here.
Like he's telling you, the call was right.
What he's really saying is the player messed up, but he doesn't want to name players.
Okay, well, hold on.
Is the call right?
Look at these blitz numbers that we pulled.
The blitz is not working.
Why are you calling blitzes?
They are the worst defense in the league.
If you blitz, Tyler Shuck, Josh Allen, you know, Bryce Young, they're just dominating.
They blitzed Gino Smith eight times.
He was eight for a buck six and a touchdown.
You should not be calling blitzes.
You're making the wrong calls.
I'm sorry, Shepard, what are you doing?
This sounds to me like a guy who knows he's about to get the plug pulled.
Remember the OC last year?
He got got, I think, I'm worried about the Lions, man, Colin.
I was wrong.
I thought the schedule was easy.
This team should be good.
Now, they did get good news on one of their safeties.
His window is open to return.
turn. I don't think they bring them back this week.
The back end of the secondary, the boat safeties have been out,
Branch and Joseph, and it's horrific back there.
I'm not feeling that confident about the Lions.
I don't know how you can make them five and a half point favorites against anybody.
I don't disagree.
Not with that defense, Colin.
Yeah. J-Mack with the news.
Well, that's the news.
And thanks for stopping by.

Hi, this is Kylie Breakman.

And we're the hosts of the Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists Podcast.

What I try to do is faux journal.
I don't know.
Have you guys heard of faux journaling?
Yeah, it's reading.
It's called reading.
So we don't like to use that word anymore.
A panel of New Yorker cartoonists.
Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class?
No!
I've been dying too.
I'm so sorry.
I'm seeing a reading of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audra McDonald's at the Wonderland Bookstore on 14.
That's crazy.
I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark 30.
No way.
You have to come to the last bookstore, though.
Kim Cottrell is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday.
A panel of Eurovision participants.
And we do a lethal Halloween.
sometimes. Does the Pope dress up?
He winks on Halloween.
He gets right up next to the microphone.
I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other.
You never seen Italy so quiet
as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween.

Hey everybody. I'm Chuck Brian at the Stuff You Should Know podcast.
And I'm Adam Pranica of the greatest generation and greatest trek.
We decided to start a golf comedy podcast because we're both big golf lovers, and we wanted to spread that joy, and it's called three-putt bogey.
It's coming from the perspective of golfers who are sometimes good enough to hit two great shots in a row, but almost never good enough to hit three.
And a three-putt bogey is kind of the purest expression of that.
Every golfer knows what that's like.
Obviously, we're going to talk a lot about the game of golf, how absurd it is and how fun it is, and how vexing and frustrating.
but more than anything, just how much we love the greatest game in the world.
We love it anyway.
We're putting these out every Friday morning for your weekend golf routine.
This is a show about sharing our experiences on the golf course
and how absurd and funny they can be.
And that's what Three Put Bogey is.
It's Three Put Boogie, everybody, out every Friday.
You can listen to it now on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
It's Dramos, and I want you to meet the disruptors
who are setting today's trends,
and discover those who are building what's next.
People like Sebastian Yatra.
Life is on the other side of fear.
Introducing Global Flow, a new podcast where I sit down with disruptors
across music, entertainment, business, and tech to break down what they're building,
get the blueprint to how they got there, all while trying to figure out what's coming next.
They'll share their stories, including not just the winds that we all see,
but the moments they had to persevere through when everyone counted them out.
People like the co-founder of Buddy's Coffee, Rachel, who quickly went
from being a New York Times success story
to facing eviction.
Being, you know, deemed a successful business
by, like, you know,
I mean, so New York Times,
like, as, like, a Puerto Rican girl from New York
who didn't finish college.
He was like, I was like, holy crap.
Like, I'm finally doing something.
Like, maybe this is all working out.
And then that day when the landlord comes in,
it's like, you like,
it all over that idea and he stepped on me.

Three in a row.
This team is looking to stamp its name on the history books.
A modern day dynasty of baseball.
That's the goal for the back-to-back champion, L.A. Dodgers.
It's the Dodgers and everybody else.
We're pulling out all the stops from Saxon Cates in the morning to live broadcast from Dodgers Stadium.
Great Sports talk live from the ravine.
L.A. Dodgers playoff baseball is on L.A. Sports.
October is synonymous with Dodger's success.
The quest for back to back to back is on.
AM 570 LA Sports.
Five weeks into the NFL season, storylines are starting to take shape.
The blazing's been hot.
Can J.MAC keep up?
That's the enduring question.
We call this segment, tomorrow's headlines today.
What are the headlines Monday?
London game Eagles versus the Jaguars on Sunday.
Who do you like?
be up early Sunday morning out here in Los Angeles, devouring this game, because I do believe the
Jaguars will be doing some devouring. The headline for Eagles Jags will be. Sweep the leg,
Mr. Lawrence. Siriani waxed on and off the field. A nod to karate kid. Colin, I think the
Eagles are in deep trouble. I'm watching the injury report. It looks like no Sequin Barclay, no Devontas
Smith. I don't know why Siriani decided they're going to leave Friday
for London? I mean, just bizarre. I know it's not as long
of a trip as Australia, but we just saw what happened
with the Rams and leaving late in the week. The Jags are experienced
overseas, as we know, this is an offense. It's Liam Cohen offense
that they could put up big numbers here. Remember the Rams?
400 plus yard last week against the Eagles. Cam Ward had a really
good game. Had the Titans nearly beat the Eagles. And we saw
Case Keenham beat the Eagles. Like, this is a
susceptible Eagles defense, and I think Lawrence puts up some numbers. I know
This is a huge spread, seven and a half.
But unless Jalen Hertz does some Superman heroic stuff,
I think the Jags put it on them big.
Tomorrow's headlines today.
Bears at the Packers Sunday on Fox, the heated rivalry.
Listen, amazing slate on Sunday.
This is, I think, my favorite game.
It was the first game I bet this week.
The headline for your Bears against the Packers will be.
No, love lost.
I got the Bears winning.
Now I'm getting a little nervous with this Kyle Menangai update.
He is not going to play.
He's a toe thing.
He's in a boot.
Looks like no play for Mungai for the next two weeks, which is not great news.
However, Colin, this is going to be a weather game apparently in Green Bay.
They're calling for high wins, which could remove the Christian Watson element.
He has done well against the Bears last three games, three touchdowns.
So again, I'm done betting against Ben Johnson.
I learned my lesson in that Eagles game.
I'm a Ben Johnson guy.
I look this up.
Since he got to be head coach of the Bears, 15 and 8.
against the spread, 65%.
You know the margins are thin.
That's amazing in the NFL.
Now, we'll see if he gets caught
going to his backup again and maybe there's enough tape.
But the big thing I've done this season, Colin,
that's helped a lot with the gambling is
I've looked at the offensive coordinator
or the play caller versus the defensive guy.
Jonathan Gannon and Green Bay does the same thing
all the time. Too high shell.
Run the ball. Go for it.
We're not going to give up big plays.
What do the bears do?
Ben Johnson runs the ball down your throat.
He just did it last week against the Jets.
In both of their matchups, Ben Johnson against Gannon,
over 175 yards rushing Bears victories.
Or Gannon victories.
Gannon losses against Johnson.
So I think the Bears keep it on the ground, keep it simple,
and get out of Green Bay with a win.
Tomorrow's headlines today.
I really like the Steelers in this one.
It's on Sunday.
Colts, Pittsburgh, who you got?
Yeah, as we get into October,
weather a big one.
It sounds like this is going to be heavy rain all game.
The Steelers love the third.
The headline for Colts Steelers from Pittsburgh will be performing in Pittsburgh.
One night only.
Aaron Maiden.
Give me Aaron Rogers here in a bounce back spot.
Colin, I think I've gave out the number.
So teams with three or more days rest this season are undefeated straight up and against the spread.
Extra rest for the Steelers.
Colts coming back from London.
I don't love this Colts defense.
It has been an abomination.
Go look at their PFF numbers in the secondary.
It is horrible.
Sauce Gardner, that trade looks so bad right now.
Can Rogers take advantage?
No Michael Pittman for this one.
Looks like he's going to be out a couple weeks.
I do think this is a heavy ground game.
I like Jalen Warren in this one.
I do ask you, though,
Jonathan Taylor is a really good running back.
He concerns me if this is a major weather game.
Can the Steelers keep him in check?
Given what we saw against the Browns,
I think we see a bounce back from the unit
and McCarthy and Rogers, Pittsburgh rallies.
Yeah, I like the extra rest for a veteran
coach and a veteran quarterback for the Steelers.
Tomorrow's headlines today, this will be fairly unwatchable.
Texans at the Titans on Sunday.
Now, why you got to call it fairly unwatchable?
Come on, this is my Super Bowl pick out of the AFC, the Houston Texans.
And remember, I like the Titans too.
And you were kind of with me.
It hasn't quite worked out.
The headline for Houston at Tennessee.
Sunday will be, oil be back.
Texans strike gold.
Titans digger, deeper.
I know you're going to be watching Digger
the do Tom Cruise movie this weekend.
Yeah, I'm going with Houston here, Colin.
Similar spot last year.
Houston was 0 and 3,
and they had to face the Titans in week 4,
win or your season's over,
they win 26-0-0.
Sadly, for Tennessee, not much has changed.
I'm sure you guys have followed
the Cam Ward narratives.
It's not good.
He went to the podium last week.
There was like no media there.
He's like, come on, what am I doing here, guys?
I'll give you a couple minutes.
Hustle up.
Bro, you're like 3 and 18.
in the NFL settled out.
And I was a huge Cam Ward guy.
The marriage with Daibol hasn't quite worked out.
And listen, obviously, I think Houston's in deep trouble.
The only reason they're still alive, Colin, even at 0 and 4, is the division, which is a joke.
But Nico Collins healthy means Houston will score.
I think the defense finally gets some stops.
Hey, by the way, that Stingley-led defense, what's wrong with him?
Give me Houston here in a blowout.
finally i thought about taking this game but uh ravens at the colts on uh sunday um listen
Atlanta looks unbelievable Baltimore is a real football operation though what say you they are this
this is a this is a tough one because the line has moved this was ravens minus six and a half last
week and now the falcons are favored by three and a half as lamar gets ruled out the headline for
raven's falcons sunday will be flock cameras locals observed
bird on bird crime.
You see how timely headlines are?
Flot cameras a huge deal in Atlanta.
I think the dirty birds go home after two impressive road wins.
And Colin, I think they get the job done here against the Ravens team that I'm not sold on without Lamar.
Now, you like Snoopuntly.
I dug it to some of his numbers as a starter.
He's okay.
But I think the big story here is can he keep up with the Falcons?
You can't be okay to keep up with the Falcons.
This offense has jet fuel behind it with the Pennix.
London Bijon trio.
Now they get to go indoors.
The last time they played at home, they lost 34-3.
The crowd was booing in like the second quarter.
I don't think we're going to see the same thing here.
I know it's chalky, but I'm going to rock with Kevin Stefansky, Colin, against
Minter here.
Stefansky's dallyowing up some fun stuff.
Bejohn Robinson could come out of this game as like a sneaky MVP candidate.
Give me Atlanta.
Are they the best team in that division?
You know, it's interesting.
There's so many smart offensive coaches.
and when old or young quarterbacks,
Panics for Kirk Cousins,
get one of those offensive coaches.
They tend to fix the offensive line quickly.
I think what's interesting about this year,
the bottom of the NFL is very small.
I felt last year there were like eight teams,
but the Jets have had back-to-back great drafts.
Cleveland's had back-to-back-to-back great drafts.
Cleveland has had several drafts in a row, Andrew Barry.
So what I'm finding is,
Some of these like legendary bad teams, I mean, Raiders have had good drafts, last couple of drafts.
What you're finding is between the quality offensive coaching that's elevating quarterbacks and
there's more offensive coaches and defensive coaching, some of the teams we view as bad in the NFL have
really, they've got really good GMs and there's good drafting.
I mean, you think about the Jets, you think about Cleveland, you know, you think about those teams.
You're like, they're not very good.
I got to be honest, when I watch the Jets, I see a ton of talent.
I just don't like, I'm not a coach, quarterback lover in New York.
I've said it's about the New York Giants.
I watched them last week against Arizona.
Giants are fast.
Defensively, even without burns, like they're twitchy.
I mean, they are sideline to sideline.
Arvel Reese has been a home run.
The teams in the last couple of years that have been bad just didn't have personnel.
The so-called bad teams this year, I mean, even Arizona.
They went to toe to tell they had a first in gold.
They've got offensively, they have good players.
They got a LaFleur brother, I think, calling plays.
By the way, that my Jets group chat was popping off when you put me on the spot.
Who do you want as a coach?
Colin, we're divided.
We don't know.
There's no Ben Johnson out there.
There's no O.C. who's been cooking for a couple years.
Let's give it a couple months or maybe.
We'll see you Monday.
Gets the hurt.
