This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast.
Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fans, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith rule.

You're listening to
Fox Sports Radio.
You know, so yesterday you and I, J-MAC, came out, and I thought it was one of your better ideas.
Your load management is a load of, you know what.
But you're Derek Henry, Derek Henry, to the Cowboys, is fascinating.
And I want to bring in Eric Mangini, Fox Sports, former NFL coach, Jeff Browns.
He brought up a couple of points on this that, you know, trade deadline stuff, you've got to be very, very careful.
You know, you start buying your own hype and reaching.
But I look at Derek Henry and I'm like, that's kind of interesting because I think Tennessee could be a sell-off team.
When I say that, Derek Henry Cowboys, anything you like about that?
There's a lot I like about it.
They never replaced the carries that Zeeq had last year.
They never replaced his presence as a goal line rusher.
But he have 12 touchdowns and they were all on the goal line.
They don't have that anymore.
And DAC is so much better when he can rely on a running game and build off that as opposed to him having to carry the load.
And really, they're offensive line.
They're talented guys, but they're better run blockers than they are past blockers.
I like the idea of Derek Henry in Dallas.
I just don't think Jerry would do that, would give up enough to get him because he thinks he's built a pretty good team.
as the GM, and Jerry, the GM is in no way at risk of losing his job to Jerry the owner.
So there's no sense of urgency to go change the team.
And when you look at it too, Colin, Minnesota goes and beats San Francisco.
So now he thinks it's just an aberration that Dallas lost the way they did in San Francisco.
That's funny. That's actually a great point.
So, you know, we talked about the Philadelphia Eagles earlier.
And there's two teams in this league that I don't think have a whole.
Baltimore and Philly.
Now, I like San Francisco, but it's Brock Purdy.
I like Kansas City, but boy, they are reliant in big spots on Travis Kelsey.
Like, there are teams I like a lot.
Detroit, golf, bad cold weather.
You know, even the teams I like, I'm like, Cincinnati, I feel like they're getting outplayed
and winning. Pittsburgh. They've been outgained every game. But Baltimore, not a lot of holes in
Philadelphia. But it is funny. And I'm guilty of this. All I've done for two years is nitpick the
Eagles. And Hertz has won 23 of his 25 starts. And I'm like, I nitpicked him on Shane Steichen.
And I watch them clobber Miami. And I'm like, maybe I'm just too cynical. What do you make of
Philly this year? Well, I don't think you're too cynical. I had three.
really big concerns with Philly going into the season.
How are they going to deal with the Super Bowl hangover?
How are they going to deal with the two new coordinators?
And how was Jalen Hertz going to deal with the big contract extension
and all the expectations that come with that?
And that really affects guys more than I think people realize
because they try to be something that they aren't necessarily.
They try to make a bunch of plays.
And so Philly's done a good job with the hangover.
They've done a great job with the coordinators.
and won as many games, almost as many games they could have and done better than I expected to.
But I do think there's a Jalen Hertz problem.
I do think that he's pressing too much.
And the fact that he has as many interceptions as he's had to this point,
it's two more than he had last year, that's a real big concern.
And at some point he's got to stop worrying about what he was paid
and all the hype around his performance
and just be the Jalen Hertz that he's always been
and that's good enough and not press.
By the way, the tush push, I was against it.
I thought it was aesthetically gross
and it was bad for TV and people could get hurt.
And then I decided, wait, Brady getting a yard was ugly
and he could get hurt.
And I said, you know what?
What it is is using a world-class top-10 center
all time and a bench pressing 600 pound quarterback who's small and hard to get your arms around
and it's ingenious and I'm like why would I punish ingenious why would I punish innovation so I'm for
it now you yeah I have I have no problem with it whatsoever and and they do it better than anybody
else and this is a copycat league and everybody's trying to copycat it but look what happened
with the giants they did it lost two offensive linemen San Francisco
does it and that's probably what led to Brock Purdy's concussion. So other teams are trying to do it.
Some teams are doing it and not having anywhere near the success rate that Philadelphia is doing it.
So why should you penalize them for doing something really well? The other thing I'll say is
they're taking a big risk every time they do it. So there's thousands of pounds pushing forward
and there's thousands of pounds pushing back and you're taking your greatest and most
important asset and putting him in the middle of that, which is a huge risk.
So if you're willing to risk that for a yard time and time again with the volume of people that have been heard doing it and you do it really well, then I think that you should be rewarded for it.
You're going all in and you're winning, and that's great.
All right.
So you're in Cleveland, and I said this earlier.
I wouldn't have drafted Mansell or Baker at those spots, so I wouldn't have been desperate, but I do get when you are desperate and you look at Lamar Jackson and Burroughs in my division.
Mahomes, Alan, Herbert, Lawrence.
I get, we got to go get a star.
Again, I wasn't a Mansell fan.
Baker at one felt like a reach, although I do think he's a franchise guy.
But Deshaun also did not want to play in Cleveland.
He wanted to play in Atlanta.
But the contract Cleveland gave him, you can't say no to certain.
I remember years ago, C.C. Sabathia wanted to go somewhere else,
and the Yankee said, here's the money.
And he goes, I'll learn to love New York.
And he did me.
It was great.
Like at some point, you can't say no to the money.
ridiculous. So you're in Cleveland a lot, New York today, but I, I sort of look at this situation
with Cleveland and I'm like, it sounds weird. The information changes. It feels like it's getting
tense in the building. I don't have the insight you do in the proximity, but this thing,
they can't get out of this, right? Like this is, it feels like there's some real regret in the
building now. Yeah, it's terrible and it's getting worse. And, and, and, and,
And right from the start, it was terrible in the sense that you had to give away everything that you gave away in terms of draft picks.
You guarantee a contract that's unprecedented and you break every rule of sort of contract negotiations in the NFL to do it.
You absorb all the negativity that came with bringing in a player like Deshaun Watson and his off-the-field problems.
And then you have to sit out a year and you structure the contract so he doesn't lose very much more.
money. He finally comes back. He finally is showing some of that promise that you bought into.
And I told you, Colin, I thought he had the best chance as opposed to Russell Wilson or Aaron
Rogers to get back to that elite form. You see some of it in Tennessee. Then suddenly he gets
dinged up. Then he's cleared and medically but doesn't play. Then he gets concussion tested
and they don't put him back in. So it's like layer upon layer of problems.
without any upside.
And now everybody in the building,
these guys are winning with a backup quarterback,
losing their best player and finding ways to win.
And he's not part of that solution.
And you can't do anything about it.
It's $201 million in dead money if you want to get rid of him next year.
$201 million.
You can't do anything.
So unless he decides to commit and play
and sell out for the team that sold out for him,
the negativity is just going to continue to build.
And the fans were already at a point where it's been really hard for them to buy into Deshaun Watson,
and they were a little bit, and now it's moving dramatically the other way.
People continually remind me that I loved Sam Darnold,
but I will say Kyle Shanahan is smart, and he went out and got him.
And so when he plays this week, because Purdy's in the concussion protocol, and generally, if you are, you miss a week or two.
The question is, as much as I love Sam, he's a little slow in the delivery and takes big chances.
He's a playmaker.
Well, Garoppolo and Purdy are not, and they're perfect for the system.
What is your, if I said Darnold plays for the next two weeks, what do you think it looks like?
Does it work for you?
Yeah, to me, this is the most compelling storyline of the weekend.
And I really like Sam Darnold as a guy.
Like every time I hear him talk, I'm excited about him having a second act.
And I know he had an opportunity in Carolina.
But when you look at what he did last year in Carolina, he finished up four and two.
He actually played pretty well for Carolina late last year.
And then for him to get this opportunity that he's getting in San Francisco,
he signs at the start of free agency, which is very rare for a veteran quarterback to do,
which means that he really liked the opportunity.
and obviously Kyle really liked him.
So now to be able to see him in this system,
to be able to see him get this chance
to establish himself as a starter again,
I think it's great.
Everybody loves a second act.
I'm hoping he's going to have a great second act.
And then he's got the added incentive.
If he plays 25% of the SNAP and they win,
he gets $300,000.
So he's got a short-term incentive.
He's got a long-term incentive
in terms of being a franchise guy again.
And he seems like a really good guy
that I'm hoping that he can go out and put some great tape on and be successful.
And he's shown the ability to do that.
I have a great parlay for you this weekend, thanks to Draft King's Sportsbook.
Let's have some fun.

Now my parley picks of the week via Draft King Sportsbook.
Jags minus two and a half at the Steelers.
I like Pittsburgh, but they've been outgained in every game.
Jaguars are a bit undervalued.
I think they win by about a field goal to four points.
I'll take the Jags.
Saints plus one and a half at the Colts.
Derek Carr's been struggling.
He's hearing about it.
There's too much talent not to beat a backup.
Colts come on of a very, very trying, difficult, physical game against Cleveland.
I think they pull back.
I'll take the Saints plus one and a half.
49ers at home minus five and a half against the Bengals.
I like Cincinnati.
But they're winning and being outplayed.
49ers in a bad mood after two road losses.
Come home and lean on them.
I'll take the Niners by about 10.
Jags, Saints, Niners.
You want to take the herd parlay.

A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, CliverTaylor the 4th.

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam Jay.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survive.
including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill
waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 was big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode
where we've discussed crack, so I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now, so...
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes, I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important.
years from black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Yeah, finally, nobody likes to pick on young quarterbacks, but I feel like Jordan Love has been in
this system four years. It's an offensive coach, stability in the organization.
So when C.J. Stroud goes into that mess in Houston and instantly, in the tougher AFC,
in a, you know, schedule is not easy. Open up with Baltimore.
And by the second half of his first game, you're like, oh, yeah, he can make, this kid's going to work in the NFL.
Like week three, you're like, wow, he doesn't.
Jordan Love now, year four, extra time against Denver, extra time against the Raiders.
Right?
He had extra time.
Unscripted plays.
They can't move the ball.
He can't complete the ball down the field.
At some point, Eric, I don't need to see that much.
I mean, I can knock Justin Fields.
I could put a tape together of Justin Fields of eight minutes.
And if that's all you ever thought, you would go, that's a franchise quarterback.
He is explosive.
I don't get explosion.
I don't get down the field.
I get overwhelmed.
I don't get good on script.
I don't see it.
Am I missing it?
What am I missing?
What do you see?
I think you're absolutely right in the sense that he should be further ahead than he is with
the amount of time that he's been in pro football.
And there is a big adjustment to pro football.
the amount of time that he's been in the system
for the fact that he had Aaron Rogers
and whether or not Aaron Rogers was a mentor or not
he still was able to see what Aaron Rogers,
how he operated,
and what mechanically it was like
not only on the field but off the field,
those are huge advantages for a young quarterback.
So the product should be better
that what we're seeing right now,
although Aaron Rogers didn't have tremendous success
his first season.
I think we have to give Jordan Love a full season.
and a training camp in the start of next season to see whether or not he's the answer.
You know, I didn't love it when he signed that sort of contract, hybrid contract extension.
Yeah.
Because that to me said, I'm not real confident that if I do well, I'm going to hit it big.
And you don't love when a guy goes into the season feeling that way.
Yeah.
Oh, by the way, I just thought about this.
Things happen for a re.
I always say things leak because somebody wants.
some leaked. I've been a reporter or an opinionist. When I get a story once twice a year,
somebody wants me to get the story. I'm not out there with a shovel digging in offices to get
stuff, right? This is not the way it works. Belichick's contract ends up a story last week.
Why did that get out? Caled, I was in that building for six years. I never heard about Bill
Belichick's contract once from anybody. And there's probably about four people in the world
that know what Bill Belichick's contract situation is. And one of those four wanted to get it out.
To me, this was the New England version of a vote of confidence. So instead of Mr. Kraft coming out
and saying, hey, Bill's going to be the head coach next year, which is what most owners do. And
oftentimes that's the kiss of death. Like the vote of confidence is usually the kiss of death.
this was the New England subtle way of giving the vote of confidence saying he's got a contract extension
he's going to be here for a long time fellows you better not listen to anything that the media is saying
because he's going to be evaluating you next year so you better dig in and find out a way to get us out of this hole
because he's not going away insight eric mangini it's what he does as always coach great seeing you
awesome to see you too colin all right yeah stuff gets out somebody wants it out it was a vote of
confidence. They may have thought, you know, we're going to lose to Buffalo and be one in six.
And instead, they beat Buffalo. And now, now J. Mack is talking like the bed of the weekend is New England plus nine and a half.
We kind of settle down a little. Bet of the weekend? It's up there. It's top. It's good. It might make the card.
It is. You know, every last two weeks, the Jets were the last team out in my blazing five. The Jets, as of today,
are in the blazing fire.
Really?
Yes.
Oh, you didn't say
if you're on them
or against them,
though.
I did not.
But they're,
they're, as of right now,
they're my number four,
five slot.
Interesting.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Jaymec with the news.
No.
No.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
So the World Series
begins tomorrow on Fox.
A few thought
that the Diamondbacks
and Rangers
would both make it here.
But MLB Commissioner
Rob
Manfred, join the Carton show this morning to talk about why this matchup is great for the sport.
I think the great thing about our postseason is that it's very unpredictable.
And if you look back at the history of the game, some of our greatest moments are teams that
nobody expected to win. Money makes it easier to win and sustain a winning team,
but it doesn't guarantee that you're going to win. And I think the charming thing about our
is that if you do it the right way, you know, your phrase, which I agree with, you know,
you build a core, you get the right kind of guys, recognize that the game is going to be played
different and build your team to play to those rules, different rules, you can win.
You know, way to go, Carton, to get Adam Silver and the Rob Manfred.
He's on fire.
Yeah, he's on fire.
And that's the advantage of being in New York.
They drive to work, stop off with Craig, do it, boom.
Next week.
Oh, go ahead.
Go ahead.
Did he have another one next week?
Well, I think next week he probably will get Zach Wilson, right?
After the Jets beat the Giants.
Or Roger Goodell.
I think you need a jet on there.
Okay.
So anyway, I remember years ago.
So everybody's like, oh, this World Series.
I remember the highest rated NBA finals, I believe, ever, is Michael Jordan
against the Utah Jazz.
And one of the first low-rated World Series was Yanks Metz, the Subway World Series.
Everybody thought, oh, everybody cares.
Nobody cared outside of New York.
nobody thought the boring Utah Jazz, the pick and roll stockton Malone against Jordan.
It got massive numbers.
So why?
Because the series was good.
Because they could defend Michael a little.
From flu games to the intensity, it was like it.
So my takeaway on this is the idea that we in the coast think everybody's in love with blank and blank.
Nobody cares about the Mets outside of New York.
They've been a tire fire for most of my life outside of the, you know, Daryl Strawberry.
Keith Hernandez, those fun years.
They're always underachieve.
Eras, what if you get a seven-game series and you get two extra-winning games?
You can potentially get a lot of offense.
You've got to be careful about, like, World Series.
Super Bowls are always better with great quarterbacks.
Almost always.
If you give me, you know, you give me whoever.
Hurts in Mahomes.
You're going to get a good Super Bowl.
Yeah.
You get Burrow and Stafford.
You're going to get a good Super Bowl.
In the NBA, if you get star-studded team, I mean, Boston, big brands,
Warriors. That's going to be a good final.
But everybody was Poo-Poo in Denver last year.
I thought that final was fantastic. I loved it.
I don't remember whatever. I don't care what stuff rates.
They're all getting their money.
Just be careful about you think it's not going to work.
Sun's Bulls.
Nobody thought that would be interesting.
And I watched, those games were fascinating.
I mean, you end up getting the Michael Push.
You end up getting two of the biggest stories in league history in the finals.
The Michael Push.
Oh, against the Jazz.
And also the Flu game,
which is still a mystery.
You know my favorite subplot from that jazz?
All these people are like, Jordan took down Carl Malone and Stockton.
I'm like, that team doesn't even make the finals.
They don't sniff the finals in this era, the jazz.
Like they weren't that interesting, right?
Jeff Hornacek was like their third best player.
It's like they weren't interesting.
But like you said, big rating, you know, Michael Jordan.
It was David against Goliath, Big Market, Chicago,
Michael Jordan against, you know, John Stockton.
It had a lot of stories and arcs to it.
Those series were fantastic.
Yeah, yeah.
All right.
Next up, NFL trade deadline rapidly approaching on Tuesday.
I think that's Halloween.
Wow.
Despite the bad loss last week, the Lions, they're still playing good football.
Five and two, they got a big Monday night football game against the Raiders.
Sounds like Jimmy G's a go in that one, cleared for practice.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell does not expect Detroit's front office to make any drastic moves.
First of all, the value's got to be right.
It's got to be something that we feel like can help us.
fits us. But it also can't be something that's going to mess with what we got going on here.
He's mindful of that. And I appreciate that about him. He knows what I'm talking about, what we're
about, and we're not going to mess with the vibe of this team. I know he's going through a lot of
things. And when it becomes serious, he'll bring it to me.
Yeah, I wouldn't mess with that team at all. I don't know. They need a cornerback.
The whole league outside of the jets need the corner. Okay, so go get one.
There's not a bunch of good ones. You see Brock Purdy get the concussion.
Trent Williams down.
Okay, Debo Samuel down.
Lions have a chance, man.
They get the number one seed.
I'll say, I know you're not going to like this.
I think Super Bowl is in play, just getting to it for Detroit.
Given the injuries, man, and the Eagle schedule.
Colin, look at the Eagle Schedule.
It is brutal.
Yeah, they've won 23 of their last 25.
I'm aware of that.
By the way, they're the best first half bet in the league over the last like 20 games.
They're unbelievable.
All that being said.
How about this?
You get the number one seed.
You're at home indoors.
You're going to be live.
Why don't you bring down the heat a little?
How about lions are a possibility?
Let's just go to the conference championship and stop there.
Because first of all, they may play in Philadelphia cold weather golf.
That's why getting the home field advantage is so big.
Go get a cornerback.
Get aggressive.
Come on, man.
When we are hot on this show, we're running hot, we're pressing pedal to the metal.
We're not like, oh, let's dial it back.
Well, I dialed it back today because I wanted to save energy for tomorrow.
Really?
Yeah.
So you're a load management that we can.
load management. Oh, I see how you roll
Cowherd. Gotcha. Hey, so you got
take some Thursdays off. Oh, really?
We had a very hot Wednesday, big show tomorrow.
There's a guy driving around to Dubuque,
Iowa right now. It's like, you know, it was
worst day of the week and Cowherd's taking a Thursday off. He is
disappointing. I showed up. I just didn't give it my all.
You mailed it in. Yeah. Okay, got it. Just like
Kauai Leonard. Final story, Thursday night
football. Bucks bills
tonight. Line kicking around the
8-5, 9, 9-and-a-half. That's too many points.
Jesus. The Baker Mayfield's
dinged up. Josh Allen's dinged up.
Is Baker going to play? Is Baker going to play?
Baker's going to play? I mean, as of right this second,
yeah.
This is a tough one.
Do you have a lean at nine, nine? If it's nine and a half
as I see here, that's
a big number. I think
I feel about this game the same way
I do about the lions this
weekend who are big favorites and I think
I probably will take the lions
is that I feel like
Buffalo's in a bad mood. They're at home.
Warm weather team goes north. It doesn't
feel like it's going to be a great Tampa success. This feels like Buffalo at home is going to be
cranky, night game. Everybody's lubricated, playing poorly. It's a flex. I don't love Tampa in this
spot. And I also, Detroit got humiliated. Now Detroit's in a bad mood, inferior team. Josh Allen,
Jared Goff when they have protection, can make you look ugly pretty fast. So the Dawson Knox injury,
people can scoff. Like, that's a big loss for the bills. However, there's some speculation that Dorsey,
who's been under some fire, right?
The offensive coordinator, they're getting,
they're not doing anything in the first half.
They go back to the three wide receiver sets,
which was huge for them in the last couple years.
Remember, they drafted Kincaid.
They want to go heavier, more runs.
Screw all that.
We're going back to the three wides.
We're going to open it up.
And Josh Allen's like, you know,
325 yards passing,
and they score 34 or 10 win over the bucks.
It's another split screen night.
NFL one NBA.
Well, I do have some bummer NBA news.
What?
Within the last eight minutes.
What?
Booker's not playing
tonight. Bradley Beale's not playing
the same game.
I know, they're not playing against the Lakers.
It's like, so it's going to be Kevin Durant
and...
Newbanks. Nerkich.
Nurchitch.
Yeah, not great. No Beal and Booker.
According to Shams, Sharania, they're both out with
injuries. Injuries?
Game two.
Booker hurt his foot after torching
the Warriors. I don't know.
Jay Mack with the news.
Well, that's the news.
And thanks for stopping by.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam Jett.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because.
of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

We have not played the Magic 8 Ball in quite some time.
And the Magic 8 Ball gives us revelations an insight that only a Magic 8 ball could give.
Are you ready to play J-Mack Magic 8 Ball?
Yeah, yeah. Let's do this.
Okay, let's do this. What's the question?
Will the dolphins win the AFC East?
Ask me again later.
Hmm. Ask again later.
Do you know the dolphins have not beaten a team with a winning record since week three of last season?
They are the classic speedboat, great when the weather's nice, once it gets one.
windy and turbulent, can't beat the tough teams. That's ask again later, according to the magic
cable. They're the bully who don't want to battle anyone their size. Will the Jets finish the season
above 500? Don't count on it. Seven consecutive losing seasons. They have the worst passing
offense, the worst third down offense, and the worst red zone offense in the NFL. At some point,
you can't be worst in everything. Fair enough.
Will Brandon Staley be the Chargers head coach next season?
Yeah, no.
My sources say no.
So the problem is, if the defense was great, it'd be one thing.
30th ranked scoring defense, allowing 5.8 yards per play, which is 31st in the league,
and he's a defensive head coach.
So his side of the ball has gotten worse as the Chargers have spent more money on that
side of the ball.
Will there be at least three AFC North teams in the playoffs?
Let's see this.
Ask again later.
The Steelers are one of two teams to be outgamed in every game this season.
And let's be honest about it.
The Bengals are three and three going to San Francisco.
They could very likely be three and four.
They're an underdog.
Whether you bet them or not, do you think they're going to win?
I don't.
I think the division's.
Very good.
And if any division can do three teams, it's the AFC North.
Will the Jaguas have the best record among Florida teams?
Yes, it is certain.
First of all, Tampa Bay, give me a break.
They're going to lose tonight and go three and four.
Dolphins have played the third easiest schedule in the league.
So Miami's schedule gets much harder.
Tampa I don't buy.
And the Jags schedule, some of those in-division games against
Will Leaveth.
Tanking Colt.
Not the tanking Colts.
Gardner Minshue.
So Jags are going to
they're going to end up vying
for the number one seed in the AFC.
That's a spicy take.
Will Kirk Cousins be the Vikings
QB for the remainder of the season?
Without a doubt.
He has a full no trade clause.
It's going to be a free agent after the season.
And I mean, somebody would have to get like hurt this week.
You know, which you don't want that to happen.
That's pretty unlikely.
And you did just beat the Niners.
So it would be funny if you did trade him.
If you look at their schedule, we talked about this.
It's very possible the Vikings going to heater for the next five weeks
because they got some Jordan Love games, Desmond Ritter games,
and Jordan Addison's exploding.
Justin Jefferson will come back.
Tight end's fantastic.
They're running the ball a little better now.
So watch out.
So you're giving him a win in Green Bay this weekend, huh?
The line is crazy.
You like Green Bay?
I can't reveal that yet.
Wait for tomorrow.
Will the Eagles win the NFC East?
It is certain.
They already have a one-and-a-half game lead over Dallas.
Jalen Hertz has won 23 of his last 25 starts.
And we have argued that we don't even think they were in sync.
And they already have a 6-1 record.
We didn't like the way they played.
I thought the Miami game was the first game.
I really loved how they played.
So they're just now getting in sync.
going to win that division. Well, the 49ers
finished with a better record than the Lions.
Most likely.
I got to see Detroit
win a division before I make any
bets. Also, the Niners, Brock Purdy,
Debo Samuel, Trent Williams, will
come back. We also know, Arizona's
not very good.
You know, L.A. Rams have deficiencies.
You can always beat Gino Smith.
Like, there's some games there. I think
Minnesota is going to be a much tougher game
later in the season. Chicago
is starting to play well, even with a backup
quarterback. The bag man. There's no guarantee. No guarantee Detroit beat Chicago. There's no guarantee
with that. We should do a pizza wager on that, if you will. And finally, will the Packers
draft a quarterback in next year's draft? Yeah, most likely. The harder schedule is ahead.
Throws on 10 plus yards downfield. Jordan Love is completing 38%. You forget this.
When you looked at the Packer schedule, it's gone the opposite of I predict. I said he'll have
success early and then people will get film on him and he'll be limited. No. And they got they had
they had extra time early. They had their buy early. They played worse defenses early. Denver, the
Raiders with extra time. So the nightmare has happened in Green Bay. You got a scheduling break early
and they've taken no advantage of it. You got the you know you play on like a Monday you get extra
time or a Thursday to a Monday game. Then the buy week against two bad defenses.
back to back, and you can't score in the first half against either.
So it's like for Green Bay, it should be really concerning for a lot of reasons.
One of them is this was the easy part of the schedule.
The Raiders, Denver?
So it's crazy stat.
Last four first halves outscored 63 to 6.
The Packers.
Yeah.
I mean, it's bad.
They came out of a buy against Denver and couldn't score in the first half.
Denver, who gave up 700 yards to two up.
Couldn't score.
I'm like...
And these are scripted plays.
So this is what I'm talking about.
When you're gambling, sometimes you've got to take some really grody, disgusting teams.
That's what my buddy Chad Millman says.
You have to be willing to bet ugly.
Nobody else has taken the pack.
Everybody just saw the Vikings beat the San Francisco 49.
Now Vikings have to go outdoors.
I just checked the temps.
You want to guess what they're going to be in Green Bay this weekend?
38.
Close.
37 to like 40 degrees.
That's what it's going to be for kickoff.
You think Jordan Love's going to be great in that weather?
Well, I'm not worried about Jordan Love.
I think the Vikings regress a little bit.
I'm on the Packers.
They could regress a lot and still win easily.
Yeah.
Games like Pickham or Packers minus plus one, yeah.
Don't get it.
Do not get it.
I think they draft a quarterback next year.
Yeah, I would agree.
Maybe third, fourth round, but they're going to draft the quarterback.
We're done for today.
First, Things First in New York.
Next.
