This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel

On The Look Back at It Podcasts.
In 1979, that was a big moment for me.
84 was big to me.
I'm Sam Jay.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors.
Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s.
84 was a wild year.
It was a wild year.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
By the way, Greg Olson, not just won an Emmy.
And we talked to Greg Olson when he was a player before he was a broadcaster.
And he got into sort of, I think, a bidding war with a lot of networks wanted him because he's really talented.
And he won an Emmy a couple weeks ago or a couple days ago I saw on the Internet.
And he has only four tight ends in league history have more receiving yards and catches in the history of the league than Greg Olson.
That's crazy.
and we're talking to him now live right now.
By the way, third year, that thing on his shirt says T-E-U.
It's tight-end United.
They bring over 50 tight-ends.
They collaborate.
Basically, Kittle shows up.
At least he did the first couple years.
Travis Kelsey shows up.
When you watch Travis Kelsey, who's crazy town,
and you're great.
Why is he so good?
Kiddle I get, he's so physical.
You, I get, smart, great hands you could block.
Tony Gonzalez, I watch Travis Kelty, and I'm like, he's a good blocker.
He's got good.
Why is he so damn good?
Well, I think that's what the entire league has struggled.
I mean, you see the stat right there.
Seven straight seasons of a thousand yards.
I mean, the space between him and the next streak is,
like four plus years. I mean, his production and consistency year in and year out is
historic. And I don't throw that around lightly. I mean, what he's done, the tear he's been on.
And then you factor in his production in the postseason, the Super Bowls. I mean,
it's really remarkable what he's going to be able to do. And really what I would say,
what makes him so unique is he's an unpredictable. He's very kind of uncharacteristically
different as a route runner. You can't really prepare for him. It's not like,
hey, they run a lot of 10 yards square in.
So linebackers, make sure you get to, you know,
eight yards on your drop and settle two yards outside the hash
because that's the landmark.
Travis Kelsey could run a dig route 10 different ways, 10 different times.
He could go 12 yards.
He could go eight yards.
He could run out of the break.
He could stop out of his break.
He has such a unique feel for spacing and timing and being in tune with his
quarterback's clock that he knows it's not so much.
that I get open. It's that I get open at the right time. And I think that's the part of route running that a lot of guys don't understand.
Him and Mahomes have this unbelievable connection where, yeah, I'm going to be open pretty much every snap, but I need to make sure I'm open when Mahomes is looking to deliver the ball.
And I think that's the part a lot of these young route runners who kind of just run it like it's a line on a piece of paper.
They don't have the feel. They don't have the flow. And you can't teach it. It just it's something that comes with experience, but it's also just something.
that is innate to some route runners. And Travis finds himself in the upper, upper echelon of
whatever that hierarchy is of route runners, he's at or near the top. So we were talking earlier,
J. Mack and I were about Brock Purdy. And I'm not saying he's a top 10 quarterback. But when I
watch him, he's kind of mobile. He can make sideline throws. He's big enough. He's bigger than
Kyler Murray or Tua. He's not as big as Josh Allen, but he's big enough.
Are you in the camp of as a little lightning in a bottle?
I mean, let's be honest.
The roster's great.
Or when you watch him, do you think, yeah, I could go for three years, not paying him.
I could say, in a room privately, we're going to build around him for three years.
Or do you think a lot of it was just timing, lightning in a bottle, the great players?
What do you make of Brock Purdy?
I think both of the scenarios you just pointed could be true.
And I think that's okay.
I think he is, so we'll start with him as a player.
I think he is a great example of what happens when a kid goes to a school that he can play four years, have 40 plus starts,
play.
It's not Alabama level, SEC football, but it's still major Division I football, and he can play.
He can make mistakes.
He can throw two picks in a game.
He can lose a couple games.
and every game is not an indictment of whether he's going to be the starter next year.
He got 40 plus, 44, 45, whatever was.
College starts under his belt over four years in school before he came into the NFL.
That is unheard of in today's day and age.
So first and foremost, I think he comes with a very good understanding of what it takes to play
quarterback.
He's well-seasoned.
He's well-coached.
And then you factor in the environment that you refer to that he got put into, right?
He's got one of the best offensive play callers in the league.
He's fortunate that he's on one of the few offenses still in the NFL that does not shy away from.
They are a running team.
We are going to run the ball at people, beat them up physically with our offensive line.
You mentioned George Kittal.
No one's asked to do what he does at the position around the league, but then still have the weapons with McCaffrey and Debo and Kittle and Iyuk.
It is just such a rare environment that he walked into.
So I think it's both a credit to him, but it's also a credit to his system.
I think it's the most talented.
It's the best roster in football too deep on both sides of the ball.
They just happen to have a big question mark at the most important.
If they didn't have the purdy injury over their head or if Trey Lance had by this point shown to be the starter,
they would be the wild favorite to win the Super Bowl for the foreseeable future.
Their roster is that good.
Their staff is that good.
They've got to figure out where he is health-wise.
Where is Trey Lance?
Sam Darnold's in the mix.
So they've got a really interesting quarterback situation.
but I think all the things you mentioned are true.
And I think they all play a part into why he had such a breakout year last year just completely out of nowhere.
I said this earlier.
The difference in life in almost every field between stardom and see you later is somebody believed in you.
And, you know, somebody at Miami watched you and said, Greg's our guy.
And some high school coach probably similarly believed in you.
your dad can believe in you.
And I see a story that Russell Wilson turned down the Philadelphia Eagles.
And Jalen Hertz was there.
And I would have, I didn't get Jalen Hertz.
I thought, he's a second round pick.
I watched them in the Super Bowl and I'm like, Lord, he's fantastic.
Are you surprised at all by it?
Were you caught off guard?
I was.
When I saw that report,
I took like a bowl, like what a different.
Now, and who knows what could Russell in that system with those weapons,
with that coaching staff,
and that every situation is so unique that just because one player does really well in one environment,
we see it so often they go to a new one and it doesn't look like the same player.
You could say that about Russell last year.
You could also say the opposite.
A guy gets a fresh start.
He goes somewhere else and all of a sudden he looks like a new player.
So it's hard to say what Russ would have looked like in that Philly offense that we all watch, that offensive line, that ability to run the ball, the defense creating turnovers at a historic clip.
You know, like you factor in all those things that he had, that he would have theoretically had, that Jalen had.
But I still think there's something uniquely special about Jalen Hertz.
And again, it's not to say that I don't still like Russ.
I think it couldn't, if you're a Seattle, if you're a Philadelphia Eagle fan, you are thanking your lucky stars.
that you didn't get Russell Wilson. I don't think it's a knock on necessarily on him. I think he had a bad year last year. But in context, he's a Hall of Fame quarterback. So I don't, I think people have to be careful. They don't just completely lose their minds on Russ. Let's see what he does this year with Sean Payton. But as far as Jalen Hertz goes, the dude is special man. He has a special makeup, a special competitive, competitive demeanor. The way he responds to his players, the way he, there's just something unique about him and what he might not have in a pro. He has. And they
a typical quarterback sense of being 6-5 and rocket arm.
He makes up for in just being a ball player.
And sometimes you can't put your finger on it.
But when you see a guy have it, you know what it looks like.
He has it.
We saw it all year.
We saw it in the Super Bowl.
You know, they came up a little short, obviously, to Mahomes.
But I think if you're Philly, you're happy the way things worked out.
You're happy that you had to pay him they did.
Now he's going to have to carry a little bit more of the load because a lot of those other players had to move on.
because now his contract's a little different.
But yeah, I think it all worked out for Philly,
but that was a wild, a wild report when I saw it.
So it would be different if Jordan Love just showed up.
But he's now, he's been there three years, OTA's camp exhibition,
same coach, same running back, same mostly O-line.
So I said, I've said this,
quarterbacks as a rule now,
I'll give you until Thanksgiving of your second year,
and then I'm going to kind of know.
Now, these kids are in seven-on-seven camps when they're 12, 13-4.
It's not like where you played like nine high school games, a few college, and that was it.
You got a lot of reps in.
Then add to that with Jordan Love, three years of being in Green Bay system.
So if you ran the Packers, you're probably going to make your mind up somewhere around Thanksgiving.
Like, you're going to kind of know, kind of know.
What are you going to watch?
What are you going to see and go, oh,
Uh-oh.
Or this is the guy.
What by Thanksgiving will you look for?
Yeah, and I'm going to answer, I think, to even add to what you said,
which is so true about how these young quarterbacks come up through the ranks now,
is then also a factor that the last couple of years,
Aaron Rogers wasn't at any of the offseason OTAs and mini-cams and all that.
So Jordan loves getting all of those reps with the first team or a good amount of the first team players.
So all those reps now add up, especially over three years, too.
add to that. He's not some young rookie anymore. So there is a little bit of an urgency.
There is a little bit of a, hey, we got to figure out now where this guy stands. Is he our
future or do we have to start making plans to get, you know, do we feel like we have a roster to
win now? If he's not the guy, then next year you're in the free agency, you know, you're a
candidate in free agency or you got to make a move in the draft. But I think to directly answer
question, I think first and foremost, they as an organization and he individually have to be super
conscious that this is not a comparison. If this becomes a comparison to everything he does to
Aaron Rogers, they're going to lose. I don't mean lose the game. They're going to lose the development
of the player. This cannot become, well, this is how Aaron did it. Well, we saw Aaron do this.
Aaron won this many games. Aaron would have done this in two minutes. They can't get into a
this verse that because you're talking about a historically great player in Aaron Rogers. It's just
unfair expectation and burden to put on on Jordan Love. As far as on the
field, I need to see a guy who is undoubtedly in charge of the offense. This is my huddle. This is my
system. This is my system. When guys that need feedback, they come to me. When a message needs to be
sent, I'm the one giving it. There's no deflecting. There's no, you know, giving I'm the guy.
That is more important than how far he throws the ball. The accuracy of his passes. That is first and
foremost, when you're making such a historic, you know, coaching, a quarterback transition,
you've got to establish to the entire roster and organization that this guy is our leader,
this guy is who we go to.
Once that trust is built, once that personality is established, now it's, all right,
how are his feet in the pocket?
How is he play action?
How is he when we're losing in the fourth quarter?
Does he bring us back?
Operate in the two minutes.
Like, now you can get into more of like the football development and the football questions,
but I don't think any of the football matters if he's not willing to stand tall in a proud
organization.
And there's no indications that he's not.
I don't,
from everything we've heard,
he checks all these boxes.
Can he stand tall with a lot of pressure on him,
the shadow of a legendary player,
just like Aaron did with Brett Farve before him.
If he has that makeup to handle that pressure and handle that transition,
I think the football part is the least of their problems.
Okay.
Vanderbilt University in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee, June 20 at the 20th,
22nd. Can somebody still show up to it or sign up to it? T.E.U. T.E.U. T.E.U. T.EU.
T.E.U. T.E.L.L. F. L.T.L. L.T.N. F. L. KATH L. KATHE KATHE KER KER KS KELSY and I,
kind of put this thing together two years ago down in Nashville. It's really grown bigger than our
wildest expectations. We'll have everyone from the Kelsey's of the world and the Kittles of the world,
the top, top, top tier of their position all the way down to, you know, undrafted rookies
who are just trying to make a practice squad or make a, make a roster for the first time.
So it's a really special event.
We're fortunate to be able to do it down at Vanderbilt, and we're looking forward to your three.
Good seeing you, buddy.
Congrats on everything.
Good seeing you, man.
It's always fun to come in and chat.
All right.
Greg Olson, Fox Sports NFL analyst.
You ever been to Vanderbilt, by the way?
Ever been to Nashville?
J. Mack?
Nashville?
No, I have not.
Great city.
I've heard it's a bachelor.
at Capital of America right now. It is the Good Times capital of America.
Nashville? The Gulch. The Good Times. Oh, no, it's good.
So what does that make Vegas? Well, Vegas gets, you know, Vegas is nice too, but it's, I think
Nashville's got a got a music vibe do it. Okay. Are you a big country music guy? Yeah, my wife
likes it. I said you. Yeah, I listen to it. Okay. Top country music artist. Riley Green this
weekend, listen to a little him.
Come on, that's not real. Blake Shelton. Is that a real person, Riley Green?
You thought the Wisconsin Dells was a department store an hour ago.
I know Blake Shelton, but I've never heard of Riley Green.
I know.
There's a lot of people out there.
Big world, a lot of stuff to learn.
I go home and listen to some George Strait.
I know George Street.
Yeah, I'm sure you put on your cowboy hat.
Country music and beer go together.
It is hard to listen to country music and not have a good time.
But what's a good beer to go with country music right now?
The herd draft picks.
We've got a new law.
logger out. It's really good.
I thought you're saying Bud Light.
No, no.
Coors dog silver?
I drank a lot of that in college.
Well, your budget's increased.
It has slightly. But I'm willing to
show for them if they're willing to pay up.
No, no, maybe.
Anyways. Be sure to catch live

podcast. J. Mack with a news.
No, no, no, no.
Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
It's a minor news emerging in the NFL.
I don't know if this will wet your beak.
But DeAndre Hopkins has announced that he is flying to Nashville Sunday
to meet with Mike Vrable and the Titans.
Hopkins and Vrable worked together back when they were with the Houston Texans.
Vrable, of course, one of the most underrated coaches in the league.
Tennessee doesn't seem like a logical landing spot.
Well, no, why not?
Because they have the only...
I mean, listen.
He named all the quarterback he wants to play with, and Ryan Tannahill didn't sniff the list.
Well, but he may not have a huge market.
I think he's finding that out the hard way.
They also have Derek Henry.
They don't have a number one receiver.
They have a rookie from Arkansas last year.
Traylon Berks, very nice player.
I think he's a nice player.
Is he a one or a two?
Too early to tell, but he would be much better alongside DeAndre Hopkins, obviously.
He's pretty good player.
We both like Rable a lot.
I love one of the best coaches in the league.
Love him.
Not really a sexy name, doesn't do a lot, but game to game.
Like, this guy covers the spread like no other.
Do you see this as a fit?
I do.
Is this a negotiating tool to put it out there in hopes that maybe you send up a bat signal to another team?
It's weird.
Receivers an interesting space because they're valuable, more valuable than ever.
But college produces about 25 a year to the first.
pros. So a lot of people could be, you know, you're going to pay for a
Stefan Diggs or a Devante Adams, like, duh.
But there's, there are a lot of, it's, do you pay,
if DeAndre, to me, DeAndre Hopkins is a one. He's not a top five, one, but he's,
he's a playmaker. And I think Tennessee needs playmakers. I'm looking at
their draft. They got Skoronski, the offensive lineman, probably the plug-in-play.
Will Levis was the second round pick. Big, strong arm.
The kid I like a lot, Spears, the running back from Tulane.
Remember? He killed your Trojans, but big, I mean, he looked like an all-star.
Yeah.
He's not a ton of, this offense needs skill position guys.
They need people after the catch, and I think DeAndre Hopkins provides that.
That would be a good move.
Next up, we'll go back to the NBA.
James Hardin will have a big decision on his hands, Sixers or Rockets.
I don't know, maybe there's a team B or team C.
Here's the latest.
This was a bit of a surprise.
Shams Sharani in an appearance with the guy who was on the show earlier, Ryan Rusillo.
We're less than a month out from pre-Arancy starting.
I really think that he's torn with the prospect of staying in Philadelphia or moving on to Houston potentially and returning back to his home.
My sense, again, right now is that this is someone that is torn.
I think whichever way it goes, I think it's going to be relatively close.
And that's why, as we get closer to July 1, June 30th,
Those conversations that he's going to have is the incumbent free agent with Nick Nurse, with Daryl Morey, what their vision is for him, what their vision is for that team, what that offer ultimately is going to be versus comparing it to whatever.
Houston comes with on June 30th or July 1.
I don't know.
I wouldn't.
So this is tough for me to.
Okay.
So just hear me out.
James Hardin and Kyrie Irving were hearing leaks now, both this week, about those guys.
Why is that?
Because they don't have a market.
Exactly.
And they both want max money.
Who can James Hardin get the most from?
The Sixers.
Who can Kyrie Irving get the most from?
The Mavericks.
To leverage that, they need to act like other teams are interested.
Are the Houston Rockets really interested in James Hardin?
We've been hearing this.
All they got is young dudes.
Why would they want Hardin in there?
He's going to hog all the shots from their Jalen Green and these young guys.
Listen, there's something's not adding up here, college.
There's a lot of bad GMs in basketball.
Kyrie Irving's going to get a four-year deal somewhere.
I wouldn't even consider it.
But I, again, I would have, I would,
sign him for a year and I would consider if it was friendly a two-year deal, but a four-year deal
for Kyrie, there's zero chance. Somebody will offer, I guarantee you. Humor me. Do you have Mark Cuban's
number in your phone? I have his email address. Okay. I would love to get him on the show. I would
just love just to hear his thoughts. I'm sure he would not spill anything, but just to hear his
thoughts on Kyrie Irving, because let's be real. He has butchered the Jalen Brunson thing badly.
And you don't want this to be striped two when you got Luca Donchis sitting there wondering.
I know. By the way, I asked this on my podcast today.
How do you think Luca feels that Kyrie Irving has been in town for like nine minutes?
And he's now being like, hey, LeBron, come play with us.
Kyrie Irving is now calling the shots or trying to him down.
I think I think Kyrie worries about Kyrie.
I think that's one of the things that Kyrie's never been overly concerned about how anybody else thinks about anything.
So it's Lucas team.
He got to the conference finals last year.
Kyrie couldn't care less. He sees himself.
So how do you think Luca feels about that?
I think Luca is in Europe right now, knocking down a, a, uh,
pint and a sig and then a sig?
Gosh, I would hope not.
Well, he's got that European vibe
to him. There's that picture on the internet.
He was, do you remember that? Day drinking,
yes, Luca Natchez. Well, he is like
6-7. You can day drink. You can have a beer in the day.
It doesn't matter. 6-7-235?
He was the size of
like an NFL lineback. No, he's
gigantic. He also gives you 30
a night, which is gigantic.
30-10 and 10. All right, final story.
Let's move. Soccer! Finally, I've been trying to crowbar
this story in all morning. Colin?
By the way, that was one of the best games in soccer history.
May have been the best game.
Probably the best, yes.
So anyways, Leonel Messi obviously won the World Cup over the summer.
I mean, that was, do you remember that how good the World Cup was?
Oh, it was fantastic.
It was in the summer.
It was in like November, December.
It's official.
Leonell Messi reports claim he is going to be joining Inter-M Miami of the MLS.
Here's the guy who broke the story.
It's very exciting.
MLS has ushered in David Beckham.
Wayne Rooney
and now
How great is this for Miami?
How great is this for the MLS?
What a day.
Massive.
So I wrote about this on social media a little bit.
So when the World Cup was last year in 94, I believe,
it then birthed the MLS.
The MLS happened out of the World Cup.
It was soccer growth.
So now everything is working for the MLS
heading up to the World Cup,
which will be here in 26.
Okay, everybody's all excited.
Now Messi's coming.
into the MLS.
Colin, I know people have been like, oh, soccer, it's not happening.
Folks, it's happening.
MLS is, I think, approaching 30 teams now.
Oh, yeah.
We don't know Messi in the fold.
You know who's going to be next after MES.
Well, they're going to go, Ronaldo, you had fun in Saudi Arabia, right?
You got all your money.
Come over to the MLS.
Eventually, that's going to happen.
Soccer's growth.
I know you're into soccer.
No, I tried to buy into the MLS twice, and I couldn't afford it.
Was it the L-AFC?
Once was, I had a meeting on Seattle.
Oh, Souser.
So I just couldn't afford it.
I've been saying this since I worked at ESPN.
I think the MLS is doing it right.
I like their deal with Apple.
I think it fits for their sort of sensibility.
I think the MLS is great.
I find myself, I would say, I'm not like a regular constant viewer, but I follow it.
I like it.
And there's just what I love about it is there are so many great soccer cities in America that I would have never guessed.
I had no idea that Kansas City loves soccer like this. Orlando, Atlanta. I always knew Seattle and Portland did.
But there are just great soccer city. I think in Columbus, Ohio.
Columbus Crew, yeah. I mean, it's just, I love all these young people. They built these stadiums that are soccer stadiums.
They don't like baseball, have too many seats. And, you know, it's a canyon with nobody in it.
I love. Intimate settings. I think the aesthetics of the MLS are great. And I couldn't be happier.
I wish I, like you, could have gotten ownership on a team.
Yeah, by the way, my team's playing D.C. United tonight.
I, by the way, made a call.
San Diego's got a new team, but they're not taking people like me in.
I can't afford that one either.
You know, I know some people in League of MX.
I can...
I don't know anybody.
Yeah, your place is in it.
We have a couple big name investors in our crew.
All right.
Nobody cares about this, except you and I.
I just think...
Listen, I'll say this.
You have an audience that is obviously into NFL and college football.
They are a, you know, pretty wealthy audience, pretty educated.
Well, they're business people.
That's the MLS audience, by the way.
The MLS audience.
is, you know, guys who were making some decent money, driving nice cars.
And that's your audience as well.
I went to LF. I was a season ticket holder for three years.
I had trouble getting to the game, so I'd give them to my kids.
They loved going to L.A.F.C.
It's just almost a European vibe.
And the stadium's not gigantic.
So when the game ends, call Uber.
You're out of there in 15 minutes.
It's not a football stadium with 80,000 people.
It's like 22.
It's a good vibe.
I don't know.
15, but yes, yes.
Something like that.
It's efficient.
All right, JMAQ with the news.
Well, that's the news.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.

podcast. All right, we're going to play buy-seller hold today. I am your financial planner. I'm your
Wall Street managerial money guy. And let's go. Let's play some buy-seller-hold.
And a time to buy-sell. Colin will decide if he'll buy it, sell, or hold.
Cowherd, who was looking at the stock market during the break.
Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson all start week one.
I'm going to say bye, well, they're competing against Andy Dalton, Davis Mills, and Gardner Minshue, and I think they all have a chance to start.
I also think, you know, Caroline is interesting.
They almost won this division last year and were a mess at quarterback.
So I think C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young are entering teams that are closer to winning a division that I think Houston is going to be the shock of the league.
I know I'm in the minority.
Very minority.
I think they're going to surprise people.
Okay.
Buy sell hole.
Jordan Love wins more games next season than Aaron Rogers.
That is a sell.
Sell, sell.
The Jets won seven games last year with Joe Flacco, Zach Wilson, and Mike White.
Seven games with that nonsense.
And so the schedule is tough early, but winnable, middle, and late.
And let's be honest about Aaron, for all the misgivings.
We know what we have with Aaron.
We have no idea what we have with Jordan Love.
I mean, no idea.
I don't think the Packers do either.
Buy-Sell hold, Will Levis starts more games for the Titans next season than Ryan.
Tanna Thrill.
Let's do a hold.
Tanna Hill, for the record, is 36 and 19 with the number one seed since he showed up.
Tannhill's better than you want to acknowledge.
Now, he started 12 games last year and went 6 and 6.
Will Levis will get starts.
I just think he's too talented not to, but let's not make it like Tannahill.
They were a number one seed two years ago.
He's capable, more than capable.
Okay, this might be a trick question.
Lamar Jackson will have more rushing yards than Justin Fields next season.
Sell, sell, sell, sell.
Last year, fewest rushing yards ever since he was a rookie,
and they have a new coordinator, Todd Monkin,
who apparently doesn't want him to run as much.
You and I both admit Justin Fields right now with that O-line may have to run.
Lamar doesn't have to run, and reportedly they don't want him to run.
They signed a big deal.
They want him healthy for four years.
All right.
Next up, buy-sail-hold Jimmy Garapolo will start week one for the Raiders.
Buy-bye, buy-bye.
Who else do they have?
Again, 32 and 15, last four years.
They've got Hunter Renfro, Devante Adams, Josh Jacobs, good old line.
They've got weapons here.
So Garapolo gets rid of it quickly and accurately.
It works.
Not much off script, but if he's healthy, they're going to win some games.
If he's healthy.
Jimmy throws the ball accurately and quickly, and they have good weapons.
Buy sell hold Broncos make the playoffs in Sean Payton's first year.
I'm going to do a sell.
Sell, sell.
You know, they've finished last three straight seasons in the AFC West,
and they've missed the playoffs seven straight years.
So it's not just about personnel.
They have to fix their culture.
They have a losing culture.
Seven straight years missed the playoffs.
So he's got to fix that.
I think he will.
But I think if you could win, if I told you today they went 10 and 7, would you take it today?
Heck yeah.
So would I.
In the NFC, you're a playoff team with that.
You may be out at 10 and 7.
I think they feel like a 9-win team to me.
I think it's going to take a year to really figure out of Sean and Russell work.
Okay.
Deshawn Watson will return to his Pro Bowl form this season.
That's a sell for me.
Sell, sell, sell.
By the way, he had a 79 passer rating.
Missed 28 games last two years.
The receiving group outside of Amari Cooper,
kind of a weak receiving room.
I think they're a fourth place team.
I don't, I think missing two years at that position is punitive.
This is a big difference you have.
You and Vegas are very,
very different on the Browns.
So what is Vegas?
Vegas likes the Browns, nine and a half win total.
They think that Watson is going to return to form.
There's going to be a story all summer, I think.
Yeah, I am under on that for sure.
Trey Lance will start a game for the 49ers this season.
Sell.
Sell, sell, sell.
I think Brock Purdy is going to be ready, and I think Brock Purdy is who they believe in.
Brock Pretty went 7-0 as a starter and led the NFL with 116 passer rating.
I think Trey Lance is going to get a lot of looks in preseason.
And again, you don't, in college football, you can go back and forth.
In the NFL, you pick a quarterback.
And I think this team does not want to go on the road and face Philadelphia in the playoffs.
They're not going to give up wins in September.
They're going to give it to Purdy.
They want to play home.
They don't want Brock Purdy to go on the road again.
So this team's not going to waste any time experimenting.
Whoever wins the job, and I think it's Purdy, it's his job, and he'll start every game.
All right.
Next up, Detroit Lions win the NFC.
worth. I'm going to do a hold. Oh, please. Just because I think Minnesota, we're selling Minnesota.
Minnesota still has an offensive coach and Kirk Cousins and nice weapons. I just saw this.
Minnesota 11 and 0 in one score games last year. 11 and oh, come on.
We're not going to go 0 and 11. Now, I do think the lions have upgraded defense, but they're all being thrown together.
Let's see it before we crown it. Final one, the Carolina Panthers, your Carolina Panthers, win the NFC.
Hold.
I was win two weeks ago.
They do have a new coaching staff, and I like the staff.
But it is hard to bring in a new staff and get a rookie quarterback.
If DJ Moore wasn't surrendered in the number one pick, I'd like him more.
I wonder about Bryce, who's his go-to receiver?
New staff, who's his go-to guy?
I understand getting number one to get him as a pick, but I worry about that.
Buy seller hold.
Ryan Rissillo, Greg Olson, crushed it today.
What a show.
I barely lifted a finger.
Jay Mack brought his A-game as well.
So first things first, around the corner on a Wednesday.
Game three tonight, can't wait.
Live in L.A., it's the herd.

It was a wild year.
It was a wild year.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
