This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but the show.

Back here on the herd, Jason McIntyre in for Colin Cowherd.
We're joined now by Greg Jennings of First Things First.
It's on After the Hurd.
Greg Fox Sports NFL analyst played famously with the Minnesota Vikings and this other team
of green and white in the division.
How are you, man?
Stop it. I'm good, man. How are you?
Excellent. I'm not as good as you. Greg Jennings, we're now like a muscle-bound Arnold Schwarzenegger, basically.
And he also talks about the NFL. Greg, let's start with the Sequin Barclay, the big news.
You surprised at this? It sounds like it's a rare deal, one that hasn't happened since 1994 with the adjusted tag.
Your thoughts on Sequin staying and returning to camp?
Well, look, right out the gate, if you're a Giants fan, obviously, are you in that locker room and you're part of that Giants organization?
This is a big deal.
Obviously, everybody wanted Sequin to continue on being a part of what they're trying to establish and build upon what they did last year, making the playoff appearance, which in my opinion was a large overachievement for that young roster.
However, if you're just solely looking at it for Sequin in the running back state, this was not.
a good look for the running backs at large and even Sequin Barclay being offered, obviously,
more money early in the offseason, declining that, saying that he was going to hold out,
he was going to stand on his principles.
And I get it.
You don't want to miss an entire season.
We've seen that play out with Levion Bill, and it didn't do him any great service and benefit
him.
However, when you're Saquan Barclay and you're in this situation, you know how valuable
you are to this offense.
Make your team sweat a little bit.
Like he wasn't going to be fined.
Like sit out at least a week
of training camp or something.
Give them the media,
something to talk about and the cameras
and the microphones.
Have them pushed up to your quarterback's mouth
and see what he answers
and your head coach and your general manager.
Have them answering some of these questions
that are going to make you look more favorable
because everyone who's a fan
and in that media
knows how important he is to that team.
But all in all, it's done.
It is what it is.
And Saquan Barclay is back in the big blue.
Yeah, we saw the story
that Naim Hines' unfortunate jet ski accident
and he's lost for the season.
The Buffalo Bills now are going to need a gadget back
who can also help on special teams.
A lot of guys out there,
Leonard Fournette,
Kareem Hunt, Zeke Elliott.
Do you anticipate the bills
making a move on any of them?
You know, I'm not sure if they will make a move
on any of them.
Nekeem Himes, what he was able to do in the return game was why he was so valuable for this
team.
Unless you're a guy who can contribute as not a non-every-down back and you're contributing
on special teams, yes, I think they will go out and try to add to their roster.
Obviously, they're going to do that anyway, but one of those guys, they don't add any
extreme value outside of just playing the running back position.
and at this position that the guy that they're losing,
he brought so much more than just being a running back.
It was more so about the special teams play.
All right, let's go to wide receivers.
One of my favorite stories in the last couple weeks is
Justin Jefferson asked for his top five quarterbacks in the league.
Did not name his guy Kurt Cousins.
Now, this has divided people a lot.
It's like that dress thing, what color is this dress?
It's like, we know Kurt Cunzons is not top five,
but shouldn't he name his guy?
Correct.
No, no. Like, I get it. I get it. He's answering it honestly. And I think that's, it would be different if Kurt Cousins was at least like anywhere close. But he's not even close. Like he's a great player. I don't think Justin Jefferson will deny that. However, he's trying to give a legitimate answer in response to a question that a lot of us are asked, who are you having your top five? And none of us, even if Kurt Cousins was our quarterback. And even if he did answer Kurt Cousins, we know.
know that he doesn't truly mean for Kirk Cousins to be a top five quarterback or believe that
he is, it would just be to save face.
And let's be honest, Kirk's going to throw that man the ball regardless.
Like, the Vikings aren't going to have success if Kirk is not throwing the ball in the direction
of 1-8.
Yeah, I know, Greg, I got to disagree.
I mean, listen, okay.
You're on the opposite side.
It's tough because when you were, if someone had asked you when you were at the high
of your powers in Green Bay.
Give me the top five quarterbacks.
You would have had to said Rogers, right?
But he is.
Like, that's the thing.
That's the difference.
I agree.
But like, hold on.
So when I was in Miami
and when I was in with the Vikings,
I played with Christian Ponder,
who I spoke glowingly about,
but I would have never listed him as a top five guy
just because he's my quarterback
or Matt Castle or Teddy Bridgewater,
or any of those guys or Ryan Tannenhill when I was in Miami,
I wouldn't have done it just to do it.
But if your guy is legitimately one of those guys,
can I mean throw his name in there?
Okay, fine.
So I was going to get at this.
Like, what if it were Rogers asked when you were at the height of your powers?
Aaron, give me your top five receivers in the league,
and he didn't name you,
because you had better thoughts than driver in your best years.
And, you know, you were right there probably in the discussion for top five receiver in the league.
What if Aaron didn't name you?
Would you have been like, yo, my guy?
Listen to how you're even framing the question.
I was at the height of my career, and I was legitimately one of the top.
Like, that was, so if he doesn't, then it's like, come on, man, what you doing?
Well, wait, wait, Kirk is not.
Kurt Cousins, according to pro football focus, was like top 10 in the league the last three years.
And, by the way, top 10.
Four, Kirk Cousins led the league in comebacks last year, Greg.
Come on. Put some respect on his name.
Top 10.
Look, I like Kirk.
I think he's a viable quarterback.
I'm not putting him in top five,
and I have no problem with Justice Jefferson,
not putting him in top five.
Fair enough, receivers like to stick together.
Let's get to Dak Prescott.
I made an impassioned plea earlier.
Listen, man, that DAC contract,
they ended up having to trade Amari Cooper.
They cut Zeke, and now you got Trayvon Diggs
is like, yo, I need to get paid.
Zach Martin, looks like a holdout's coming.
They got to pay Michael Parsons.
They got to pay C.D. Lamb.
A lot of problems, all stemming from that.
DAC contract, he's got two wins in the playoffs. That's it.
He led the league in picks last year. Greg, where are you on DAC?
Like, is it time that the Cowboys say, hey, you know what?
Maybe we just get a stacked roster. We move on from DAC and we do what the Niners are doing,
find like a game manager who can just get us there and we got all these skill players and we're good.
Do you think DAC is long for Dallas?
So I think DAC is playing for his career as the quarterback in Dallas future as far as
the future is concerned. I really do believe
that. I think at this
where they are going into
the 2023 season, his
performance is going to determine whether
or not Mike McCarthy remains at the head
coaching position. This next
coming up season, he, obviously
you're owning Dak Prescott.
You're going to owe him too much money to part ways
with him. So I think he'll see
a couple more years out of
Dak Prescott being the quarterback.
However, he's playing for
his career. Like, this is not
just a throw in the towel type of a year. Obviously, you talked about their roster, the guys that
they're going to have to pay, the situation that they're in right now with a potential holdout
with Zach Martin, their guard. Like, this is real. And if Dak Prescott doesn't prove that he
is worth what you decided to pay him, then that's going to brew problems. We already heard
Jerry Jones talk about him not being concerned with Dak Prescott and future content.
He's not even trying to address that.
Why is that?
Because he has to prove not only to Jerry Jones, but to everyone in that locker room, that
he's not just a great leader, but that they can actually win and win consistently and get
deep into the postseason, get to an NFC championship game, potentially a Super Bowl,
and we'll start talking back again about Dak Prescott and his contract extension.
So, Greg, I'm with you on that.
Finally, we agree on something.
He had six games of two picks last year.
And remember, he was hurt.
Cooper Rush comes in, and the game manager, I know the opponents weren't great,
but Cooper Rush did go four and one with the loss being to the Eagles who ended up going
to the Super Bowl.
So I wonder, like, are we in the era, are we headed there in the NFL where it's like,
you've got a superstar quarterback, a top 10 guy, a Mahomes, and Allen, a cousins, or whoever.
And then otherwise, I'd rather just not pay my quarterback the way the Niners have
Brock Purdy on the cheap.
And go that route.
Because like if you've got one of these middling quarterbacks like a Dack Prescott,
the odds of winning the Super Bowl paying him a lot of money and not having a lot of guys around him,
Greg, it's starting to seem like a long shot.
Yeah, I don't believe that that's where the league is transitioning when you look at the quarterback position
because can you name another team outside of the 49ers that use that method that is using that method currently?
You can't.
It's just so happened that the 49ers are a unique case.
and they have been, they have shown that they've, because of injury, they've had to have a revolving door,
and it hasn't really mattered until, unless you're talking a few years ago,
when their entire roster was pretty much dismantled due to injury, who they have at quarterback.
This is something that is unique to the 49ers.
Let that breathe, leave that alone.
If you have a guy under center that can spin that ball and lead your team with excellence
and greatness and he can get wins,
you sign that guy up for a long-term deal, period, point-blank.
Yeah, that's fair.
The only one I would say that was close.
So Kirk Cousins last year, they went 13 and 4.
I know they didn't win a playoff game,
but also Ryan Tannahill, remember with the Titans,
they were the number one seed a couple years ago.
Again, they didn't win a Super Bowl or anything.
But you can have a lot of success
without overpaying your quarterback a billion dollars.
You can have,
the guys that you're mentioning and naming,
they have had success.
Is it sustained success at a certain level?
Are we talking just get us to the postseason?
Yeah, because then if that's your standard,
then you can find a guy that can just get you to the postseason.
If your standard is we're trying to get to the NFC championship game
repeatedly, consistently, and put ourselves in position
to where we can actually contend for a Super Bowl,
you cannot use the method that you're referring to.
All right, we'll see if they can pull it off.
Final question.
Greg, I've got to ask about my Jets.
T.J. Hushmanzada came here yesterday saying like 12 wins.
Eric Mangeini is out here like this is 11 and 12 win team.
I'm waiting for you to just crown them.
I know you want to crown them.
Go ahead.
13 wins that win in the AFC?
What's happening with my Jets?
I'm not going as high as 13 wins.
When you look at their first six weeks, I was on one of the other shows on the
Carton Show and I said their first six weeks is that's the gauntlet.
And they could potentially go one in five.
But if they get out of that two and four, three and three, I think the back end of their season will be a lot more favorable and they will start to hit their stride.
So I do have them winning at least 10 games, maybe 11, depending on how they finish that back latter half of their season.
But this is a team that has a lot of potential.
And until it starts to unfold itself, which we all kind of anticipate it doing that, barring health, this is a team that should be fun to watch all.
season long.
Greg, I like you, so I'm going to give you a betting tip.
Season opener, Jets Bills, Monday Night Football, go ahead and take the Jets.
They're going to win it.
They're going to win that game.
The line has come down.
I'm not going with the Jets, man.
You're taking bills on the road in the opener?
The Aaron Rogers opener?
Yes.
I am.
You see how they bottled up Josh Allen last year in the two games?
I think they sacked him eight times.
Oh, here we go.
Here we go.
Yeah, come on.
It's exciting.
I get it.
You have every right to be excited.
About damn time, right?
Every right to be excited.
Yeah.
It is.
It's been bad for a while.
All right.
Greg Jennings, catch him next on first things first,
where he's going to be lauding my jets, I'm sure, in New York.
Greg, thanks.
Good stuff, buddy.
Take it easy.
Appreciate it.

Turn on the news.
This is the herd line news.
Jay Mack, you're like a kid in a candy store talking about your jets,
and you're trying to like slowly push everybody to have the same perspective as you.
I got to respect it.
Do you want me to read off the poo-poo platter of quarterbacks we've had for the last decade?
Oh, we know.
It's like Ryan Fitzpatrick's of the world.
We know.
Chris Trevler.
You're allowed to be excited.
Yeah.
This is an exciting time.
Especially before the season starts and you have no idea how the chemistry is going to be with the team.
Alex, I think the audience loves me talking about the TV.
the Jets like every hour. All I get on social media is more Jets talk. And I'm seeing, the producers
are like, Jay, let's just hang out. Let's just ride this to victory. Yeah, I'm hearing the laughing
behind me as this is going on. All right. Well, we got a little more to the Sequehwin-Barkley story.
As discussed earlier, Sequin Barclay and the Giants came to terms on a one-year deal today to
avoid the franchise tag. Now, we're getting reports from multiple sources that Giants
called a dozen teams this spring attempting to trade their star running back. So I have a couple
questions here. Did Seekwon know about the trade? I mean, must have, right, if it was happening,
maybe his agent knew. Did it add to the frustration of his whole situation of not being to land
on the amount that he wanted per year? And the feeling of being unwanted, right, and not valued,
obviously not getting the contract you want, and then the conversation of you getting traded,
how much did this all play into his whole situation?
And then on top of us seeing that there's not a huge market right now for the running backs
and then that running back zoom that happened,
maybe after that, him realizing not much is going to happen right now to change it.
Did this all kind of come into his decision of doing this deal today?
Well, there's a lot of questions there.
Yeah, I would guess that he was unhappy that Daniel Jones got paid
and he couldn't get his deal, and he went to his agents and said, just tell him to trade me.
I don't want to be there.
They don't want to pay me.
Get me out of here.
What's interesting, Alex, why didn't we hear about this back in March?
Where were the reporters back in March?
Did they know this was happening?
Did they keep it hush, hush?
If they talked to a dozen teams, not one team leaked it, nobody in the media knew about this?
See, this is what I don't like about NFL media.
Like, are they reporters or are they just like middlemen hearing stuff when it's a dozen?
on deal and putting it out there.
Like, we're a dozen teams, Alex?
But teams put out and they leak what they want you to hear.
You have to.
But it's a reporter's job.
You have to think then that maybe they were hopeful they were going to reach a deal
because he is such a big part of this Giants offense.
And it was such a big reason that they got to the postseason.
You've been a reporter.
I've been a reporter.
I've been a team reporter, which is different.
Oh, yeah.
So I was not allowed to report.
support certain things unless the team gave me permission. So that's very different than being
like a national beat writer. There's a lot of media out there that are not affiliated with the team.
You're telling me nobody caught wind of this. When the agent knew and a dozen teams knew,
that's why it just kind of complicates and it raises more questions about this whole situation.
See, exactly. A hundred percent agree. And it's like, listen, if anybody got a whiff of this,
they should put it out there. We had nothing about Sequan Barkley may be getting traded.
So now the interesting thing, did nobody want him because they didn't want to pay him $16 million?
Or did he think, boy, McCaffrey got a lot of money, then he was traded.
Maybe I can get more if I'm traded.
Maybe.
This whole situation raises more questions than it answers.
So.
I kind of wish he had surfaced on a team with a rookie quarterback.
Houston has their guy Pierce, Carolina signed Sanders.
Who's the other rookie?
Oh, you're hoping they traded for him there?
The Colts have Jonathan Taylor.
Yeah.
So none of those.
But basically if you're not paying your quarterback, you could pay Sequin.
Yeah.
And I guess it wasn't anybody else there.
But as we're seeing, not really paying running backs right now.
Yeah.
So the team to watch for next year would be Arizona.
Assuming they're the worst, they get Caleb Williams.
We're not paying him a lot.
We move Kyler.
Got to get him some weapons.
We can bring in a...
Load them up.
Yeah.
Yeah, that makes sense.
All right.
Well, speaking of trades, James Hardin and Damian Lillard are two of the biggest themes
on the trade market right now.
now in the NBA. Now, both players requesting trades. This is nothing new for Hardin, having
requested trades several times now. In a recent interview, Hardin was asked about Lillard's
current situation with the Blazers. I see both sides to where because I went through it,
I wouldn't want a organization to send somewhere where they wouldn't be. But then you don't want
to give that play away for nothing. So I get both sides. So just find a balance, me in the middle,
and hopefully both sides can come to an agreement.
Now, if you understand why do you keep doing it, right?
Because now you've requested from Houston to Brooklyn, from Brooklyn to Philly,
and now you're wanting out of Philly, do you think either Hardenertame or both of them are going to get what they want?
Yeah.
I want to say no, but historically the players have gotten what they wanted.
Kyrie got out, you know, KD got out.
Like if you ask out, they usually do the deal.
I am curious.
I know we talk about legacy a lot.
It's kind of silly, but it's also fun.
No, this is a part of Hardin's legacy.
So, right.
Is asking for trades.
Karima Abdul-Jabar.
Karim Abdul-Jabar considered one of the best centers of all time.
Yeah.
Best players of all time.
Yeah.
He demanded out of Milwaukee.
That's like not real.
That's like, what, the fifth or tenth thing down when you think about Karimab
Abdul-Jabbar?
You're like, oh, the Skyhook, scoring, Laker Celtics, playing with magic.
It's like, oh, remember when he was demanding his way out of Milwaukee?
Only did it once.
He did it.
Yeah.
In the 70s one, I don't know if anybody was doing it,
but like, does it come up in his legacy?
He was a face of a league.
Yeah, it's like, big name.
I, I, it's a tough one.
Like, I don't think Hardin is doing a good job with this at the end of his career.
This is the third time he's done this.
And it's in a short amount of time.
I know.
I don't know the exact year.
And did you see on social media, he was upset that all these TV shows were talking about
his hamburger outing and he replied like slow news day, huh?
Did you see?
I didn't see that.
Hardin's goals is a.
tough times right now, James. No, it's okay. I know what you're saying we like the burgers.
I would have done the same thing if I was up in the club. Tough time. Love some burgers.
What, 200 million dollar net worth, but times are tough for James. Very lean. Yeah.
No. All right. Let's move on some breaking news in college football today. Jim Harbaugh and the NCAA are working towards a four-game
suspension to start the season according to Yahoo Sports. The two sides are negotiating a punishment stemming from
false statements Harbaugh made while the NCAA was investigated.
a recruiting violation by Harbaugh and his staff.
Now, this happened during the 2020 season
when there was a dead period for recruiting,
meaning you were not supposed to recruit.
So basically he's getting punished for lying,
saying he didn't, and now they're finding out that he did.
But not a terrible punishment.
If you look at their schedule...
Yeah, yeah, I just called it.
And the first three of their,
like three of their first four games are non-conference games,
all at home.
fairly easy. However,
on the other side of things, you know,
this is supposed to be the year that they're getting over the hump.
After losing in the semifinal each of the last two years,
they lost the TCU and Georgia the year before that.
And they have their quarterback in J.J. McCarthy coming back.
Yeah.
They're going to be favored by at least.
So, yeah, those first four games is what he would miss.
Not terrible.
Enough time to get back in the groove before the big,
schools that you're going to be facing. And all four games at home to, they'll be favored by
at least 21 points in all four of those games. Yeah, so easy games. By the way, Michigan is
stacked this year. Blake Corum's back and the quarterback you mentioned McCarthy. I've asked some
people about him for the NFL drafted and they're like, I think he could be a high pick. I'm just
they're like, listen, just keep an eye on this kid. I know it was like one game against Ohio State
and I don't think he had a great game again, and was it, the TCU, right? Yeah. Yeah. I don't
think he had a great game against TCU, but the talent is there and just keep an eye on this
kid. Maybe he blows up this year. I think they're going to be fine, but it is interesting.
Harbaugh got caught in a lie, and now he says, it's better for four games? A lie? A lie. Say he
didn't remember, he didn't mention it, and then they go back and find that he did, and he didn't
recall it. A lot happened in 2020. I barely remember what I ate for dinner last week.
You'd think you would remember talking to recruits. Yeah. I mean, I remember gambling losses, and we're
J-Mack was right and where J-Mack was wrong.
What sticks with you are losses and when you were wrong.
For some reason, the loss is always sticking my craw.
Well, that's a competitor because you're like, I'm never doing that again.
Yeah, the wins.
I'm going to be better than that.
I'm going to win everything.
Notice I haven't talked about the tennis tournament that I was in last week.
Oh, J-Mack.
I haven't talked about it.
Between like your community soccer and your community basketball.
Very upset about the tennis.
All right, Alex, with the news.
Well, that's the news.

Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away,

Boy, time just flies when you're having fun.
We're already at best for last final segment of the show, Alex.
Well, we had a lot of breaking news today, a lot of good stories,
when you're like just trying to keep up with everything coming out.
It flies by.
Yeah, very exciting.
Let's start with the NFL power duos,
the top 10 quarterback coach combos in the league.
Now, this is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
We're counting down from 10 to 1.
Number 10.
Let's go with Kevin Stavansky and Deshawn Watson.
I know that's not going to be popular since Watson was so putrid last year.
And Stafansky may be coaching for his job.
This is kind of a buy low for me.
Stefansky, remember, he was a guy who took Baker Mayfield.
Yes, Baker Mayfield to the playoffs, and they pushed the Chiefs in the game where Mahomes kind of dinged his head.
And the Browns could have had a shot.
Stafansky didn't totally trust Mayfield.
You knew that was the beginning of the end.
And Watson went healthy and not suspended and in trouble with the law was phenomenal in Houston.
Last year, you know, he had the suspension.
I mean, basically was out for a year and a half.
And my guess is Deshawn Watson returns to form.
Stefansky and the Browns are good.
Remember, Vegas has them at nine and a half.
I don't totally see it,
but I'm not going to discount them because I trust the guys in the desert.
So number 10, Stefansky and Deshawn Watson.
Number nine.
Let's go with the Jags, Doug Peterson, and pretty boy Trevor Lawrence.
I know it started rough last year.
It was actually really bad for Trevor Lawrence with his previous coach.
A total disaster.
Peterson comes in and they kind of struggle, you know, three and seven start, and then they got fire, get hot, beat a couple bad teams down the stretch.
And Lawrence started to look like the quarterback we thought he'd be coming out of Clemson.
First winning season and playoff appearance since 2017.
They were down 27 points to the Chargers.
And Lawrence kind of put the team on his back.
And 25 touchdowns, eight picks in the first season.
It's a good coach.
Peterson, we know, has a Super Bowl win.
I think Trevor Lawrence will probably end up winning a Super Bowl.
Bowl in his career, maybe more than one, he's very good.
So number nine, Peterson and Lawrence.
Number eight.
All right, let's go with the Bengals here.
This is where we start to get a little suss.
I got to be honest.
I know Zach Taylor has been with Burrow and they've had an AFC championship and a Super
Bowl.
I still am not a believer in this guy.
I believe the defensive coordinator has been great.
We've seen them scheme up some stuff.
But when you look at Burrow and this offense, like, is this Zach Taylor or is it Joe
Burrow?
Maybe it's a little bit of both.
They got the playmakers.
I'm just going to give them the nod here.
Initially, I had them out of the top 10.
Then I knew a producer on the staff would get very upset if I did not include Taylor and Burrow.
Burrough is a superstar quarterback.
I think he's a MVP of the league this year.
But what do you do with Taylor?
I don't know, so I put him in at 8.
Argue with me online if you want.
I'll probably not respond.
Number seven.
Let's go with a guy in McVeigh and a quarterback in Stafford.
they just won the Super Bowl two years ago.
You can't have them much lower than this, right?
I know Stafford's now 36.
He's got the elbow problems, but man, that season when they were cooking together,
how good were they?
Stafford's postseason was the stuff of legend when he took the Rams to the Super Bowl.
Come back against the Niners.
I'll never forget being in the building for that one.
That throw to Cooper Cup against Tampa after the Rams blew a massive lead.
Just an awesome, awesome run.
I hope they can recapture some of that magic,
but I'm a little dubious of the rest of the squad.
Number six.
Oh boy, I got to give him a mention.
I don't like him.
Genius.
Mike McDaniel and Tuatung of Aloha,
who's coaching, you know, a quarterback in Tua who can't stay healthy.
Like, that's just the reality.
Like, he's taking some hits.
He's now doing, what, Taekwondo in the off season?
He's trying his best to stay healthy and absorb hits.
I don't know if he could do it, but let's put some respect on this duo.
When Tua's healthy.
McDaniel was cooking up some good stuff and they look sharp.
Pains me to say it as a Jets fan, but these two, they're on the list, and I don't know if Aaron Rogers will make the cut.
Number five.
Number five, kind of a theme since we've been hosted together, Alex.
I've got Kurt Cousins and Mr. Kevin O'Connell together, first year together, since the Vikings moved on from Mike Zimmer.
13 and 4 won the division.
Kurt Cousins, by many metrics, was a top.
eight quarterback last year, not all metrics.
They went 11 and 0 in one score games.
Best in NFL history.
Kirk Cousins led the NFL with eight game-winning drives last season.
That tied for the most in single-season NFL history.
Folks, Cousins was awesome last year.
I know they got a little lucky, and that happens.
You need some of it.
They'll be regression.
But for me, they're in the list checking it at number five.
Number four.
This is probably premature.
It's off one really, really spectacular season.
season, but give me Siriani and Hertz, 23 and 11 over the last two years together.
Hertz, how about this start?
21 and 4 in the last 25 starts for Jalen Hurts.
Just a tremendous run for this kid.
He would have been the MVP if he had stayed healthy last year down the stretch.
It's funny, we went into the Super Bowl.
I remember being in Arizona, and they were like, well, Hertz is probably not going to be 100%.
He was unbelievable in the Super Bowl.
374 total yards, four touchdowns, kept the Eagles in the game.
I've got him at four.
There's a case that could be too.
Number three.
Ah, yes, here we go.
Not a really predictable one, but I'm going to go with Harbaugh and Lamar Jackson.
Harbaugh is one of the most underrated coaches in the league,
and Lamar Jackson has won an MVP and when healthy, the Ravens are a Super Bowl contender.
So I know this isn't like a marriage, so to speak, with like an offensive mind and a quarterback.
Harbaugh was a special teams dude.
But I think Healthy Jackson got his contract, all the nastiness is behind him.
and I love betting on Harbaugh as a coach.
This tandem is really strong.
Number three, Harbaugh and Lamar.
Number two.
Haven't seen him do a game together yet, but why not?
Sean Payton and Russell Wilson.
Stop, Alex and Ryan are beside themselves here.
Sean Payton has proven he is a quarterback genius.
Former quarterback himself, look what he did with Drew Breeze.
Come on, guys.
Sean Payton knows offense.
Look at his numbers with Teddy Bridgewater.
And Russell Wilson, I'm hoping last year it was an outlier
under that guy named Nate Hackett.
I'm a believer.
Russ and Peyton, I think they're going.
Again, we're going body of work.
This isn't right this second based on what they did last year.
Body of work matters.
Payton's a stud.
Wilson's a Hall of Famer.
Yes, Hall of Famer.
I've got him at two.
Number one.
Come on.
Is it a layup here?
Anybody who disagrees just, you know,
you're not paying attention to football.
Mahomes and Reed.
What they've done together,
I should probably just throw away the notes here that the staff gave me.
But as a coach quarterback combo, 75 and 19.
Like, nobody can touch that.
That's unbelievable.
These two are tremendous.
Alex, tell me you agree with all of it.
No.
Like, how do you not have Hertz and Siriani close?
They just went to the Super Bowl.
Yeah.
They just went to the Super Bowl.
I mean, Sean Payton, one of the best coaches up here.
But him and Russ have not played.
a game yet together and the season that Russ had last year. It just, I flip-flop those for sure.
What I know Aaron Rogers? You're wearing green today because you know I'm a Jets fan. It's not really
Jets Green, but it's green. It's a C-foam green. C-foam? Is that really the name of it? Wow.
That's what I would call a C-Fophoff. It's not Jets Green. It's a C-phone green. But yeah, that
one I have a little bit of a hard time with. This was a tough one, you know? Can we blame Scott for this?
Like coach quarterback? Like, I don't know. It's a tough one to put.
them together because it's like, you know.
What do you mean?
They just went to the Super Bowl and you just said had an incredible Super Bowl even after
having injuries that it was dealing through.
It was a charmed year.
The schedule was soft.
The year prior, Hertz was, remember the playoffs?
They had a great season.
You got to put some respect on the Eagles, okay?
You got to do it.
They earned that season and they deserved to get to the Super Bowl and they deserve to be higher
ranked in this.
People tell me I look like Russell Wilson.
Is that why you like him so much?
No, and Sean Payton was a guest.
Be honest here.
That's it for us on radio, but coming up on TV,
why Dax's future in Dallas might be a little shorter than you think.
Cowboys fans are not going to want to hear it,
but that's what we're doing up here.
We're truth tellers.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
