You know, that little pallet cleanser before the weekend gets here. And we've got a hell of a show for you to preview some big matchups this weekend. This weekend's really good. Next weekend is off the charts, especially in the SEC. We're going to start talking some A&M, Arkansas, some Kentucky, South Carolina, and also talk a little bit of Florida, Tennessee, a really interesting matchup with Florida coming off that tight Alabama loss. Billy Lucci, one of our favorite guests.

I know I said Chris Dorning was my favorite guest to have on. I guess it changes daily. Billy is today is my favorite. He's going to come on, talk some Texas A&M. Everything is the Aggies get ready to play Arkansas. We're going to give you our top 10 in the country. And it is the top 10 is the way we believe it. Not the way the AP believes it, not the way anybody else.

There's nothing wrong with that. Shout out to the Football Foundation. Shout out to the Football Writers Association of America. Shout out to Mark Schley Ball's dog. That's hopefully not on Georgia's field anymore. But we're going to give you our top 10. Then Jacob Davis, a guy that I've really enjoyed his work covering Arkansas at Arkansas Fight.com.

He's going to join us to give us the yang to the yen. We're going to get the yang with Billy Lucci. We're going to get the yen and the Arkansas perspective with Jacob Davis. And he's going to give us a prediction on a score. And guys, I may ask Billy for one. I haven't decided yet. Billy's going to be live. Then we are going to take your questions in the chats.

We gave out our sharp bets yesterday. You look, we've had some fluctuation in the lines. We're not going to give out any bets today. We're going to wait until Thursday to drop it like it's hot. See if we can't stay hot, 32 and 18. But that's the show lineup. And again, look, we have it all scripted. We're going to get to the booster club and get you guys questions and comments.

Because Blaine, throw this in the booster club right now. I want to know who they think leads the – who has more rushing yards in the A&M game, Arkansas or A&M? I really want to get down and dirty on that one, getting there and really get some answers from everybody in the booster club. But I want to start with this Kentucky South Carolina game because you look at it. You say, okay, South Carolina, we know they're down this year. Kentucky's undefeated. They're throwing the ball forward. what's going on.

And when I look at this matchup, Zeb Nolan, I know, is a little banged up. Luke Doty, getting healthy, excited for Coach Bemer. That way they don't have to get, you know, the strength and conditioning coach to play quarterback or whoever's next in the pecking order. I don't know how that falls to play quarterback there at South Carolina. But this is a big game for Kentucky.

You know, Kentucky's a team that I picked to finish second in the east. They've looked pretty good. I still have some questions on defense. They struggled with a Chattanooga team in a sandwich game last week. And, you know, there's no double standards here. if you struggle, we're going to call you out for struggling, but you got the win, and it's move on in surviving. Now, will they move up in my mind in the top 25? No, not after that performance. They still got a lot to work out, but they are undefeated.

But in order to take the step that not only Kentucky as a staff and players want to take, but the fan base and the alumni and the boosters, not the real boosters, the real boosters, the real boosters, the booster club in the chat, but the boosters at Kentucky, what they want to take that next step, These are the games you have to win. Everybody's going to point to the Missouri game that was early. You got past that test. Everybody's going to talk about the Florida game. I get it.

Everybody's going to talk about the Georgia game, even though Kentucky's not beating Georgia. But in order to take the next step, you have to win the games you're supposed to win. And sometimes for a program that's where Kentucky is at right now, that's the hardest step. The mid-range jump shot is sometimes the hardest shot to hit. You can go out there and shoot the three.

You'll probably shoot more threes, but hitting that mid-range jumper when you're supposed to hit it, when you're supposed to knock down. Sometimes that's the hardest one to hit. In South Carolina and Columbia, that place is going to be nuts. Now, they're coming off a game against Georgia where they're going to be beat up. We know that.

Now, does beat up mean injuries? No. I got literally a war on Twitter with somebody who confused getting beat up with, oh, that means you're injured. Little things, soreness, strains, the stuff that doesn't really show up as a tear or a pull. but can lead to those things or can make you less effective for that week. That's why we always talk about using the transitive property is a tough way to look when you're gambling.

You've got to do a lot more research than that. But I feel like Kentucky wins this game. They need to keep opening it up offensively. And their defense needs to come out and make a statement. I thought the defense didn't look very good against Missouri. And that's something that even with this new offense, with Liam Cohen is the new OC, with Wondell Robinson, witching his way out there, with Ali and C-Rod, Chris Rodriguez at running back,

and Will Levis, who's eating bananas with the peel still on him and balling out there. That's great. But I still think of Kentucky and Mark Stoops for defense. That's really what's got them this far. The offense should be the whipped cream and the cherry on top of the ice cream. The ice cream is the defense. And with Mark Stoops, that's that team's identity to me. They can't lose that.

And it's the only way they're going to be able to really take that next step. And I think they understand that. I really like the staff they have out there. Now, looking at Ford of Tennessee, you look at the numbers. on this game. Over, I think it's at 62 and a half. And Florida is, I'm telling you, we talked about this yesterday. Florida is not going to be up for this game like they were for Alabama. It's impossible. It's impossible.

Now, they could actually be a little more confident that, hey, you know, we saw what we can do when we play at our best. But you're not going to get that same performance, in my opinion, against Tennessee. Now, Blaine, I believe this game's in Gainesville. I need you to look that up for me right now. Just escape me. I believe the game's in Gainesville. is. So you get back-to-back home games. That's why you look at Ford's back half of their schedule and it's all on the road. It seems like they're playing every game at home. Hinden Hooker,

Joe Milton's hurt, whatever, whatever, lingering is the guy right now. They're going to operate at that warp speed. Josh Hepples made it known and that was one of the biggest questions I was asking for Tennessee coming into this year was with their personnel on defense because you think, oh, it's just the offense. No, it has a direct effect. There's a direct correlation. Snaps get played. That's a real thing. And with Florida defensively, outside of the first court against Alabama looked really good. I don't think they looked spectacular against FAU or USF, but they have better personnel than Tennessee has on offense. And if Hinden Hooker, from a passing game standpoint, keeps putting the ball in harm's way, I can see Florida running away with this one. And moral victories and all this stuff,

whatever, whatever. But all Florida needs is just a little shot in the arm in this game. Because I don't think Tennessee has the personnel and operating at that pace, I'll say it every week. I'll say it every week that Josh Heipel is at Tennessee with the personnel they have. And I think they're at least two years away from having the personnel they need to be able to compete to actually win something, not just be relevant. But as long as he's operating at this speed with that personnel, Tennessee's not winning these games. I'd be shocked.

Now, do I think it's going to be a huge blowout? No. But Hinden Hooker's going to throw at least two picks a game in games like this when they have to throw it. You can't just now screen your way out of it. You can't just inside zone your way out of it. Because Ford is better than Tennessee is up front. They are. It's the truth. You know, Tennessee's got some guys,

Cade Mays, there's a few others, but Florida has better personnel than they do. And if you go down double digits in the swamp early, and you're still going to operate at that speed, then that's when it may get ugly. But I just, I don't understand the thinking behind what Tennessee is doing. And it goes back to my new

coach and malleability point. New coaches that adopt new personnel have to understand even with the transfer portal, which is still brand new with the one year transfer anywhere rule, which I'm not a fan of. But now, now, when you look at Tennessee and you ask the question, are they being malleable with their personnel? Offensively? No.

And the offense is so heavy up speed and heavy tempo that it has such an effect on the defense that they're almost operating as one. I don't understand new head coaches that go in and say, how you don't go in and say, guys, listen, I've gone up-tempo my whole career. At UCF, that's what they did before. The personnel was there for me to do it. It's what I want to do and I like it.

But I'm looking around at our personnel right now. I don't think we have the personnel to be able to operate it the way that I want to operate. That doesn't mean we can't practice it and go up-tempo sometimes, but they're running exactly like they did at UCF. I don't understand why you don't go to the D.C. and say, look, depth-wise, do you feel good about me operating at this pace

or is it going to screw us in the second half? And if the relationship is how it should be with the DC, the DC should look at them and say, coach, we're barely too deep, honestly. And I don't feel good about two or three of the places in our too deep, which that's where Tennessee is on defense. And I love Tennessee fans. We have great Tennessee fans that are fans of the show.

I think they're one of the best fan bases in college football and they deserve more. But you deserve me not to lie to you. Now, do I have all the answers? No, but I have some of them. And I just, I feel like it's very stubborn. I feel like what Tennessee's doing is very stubborn because you didn't inherit the personnel to do it.

And I don't see it working out in this game in the swamp. Florida believes they're pretty good. But going to this A&M archie game, and we're going to dive really deep into this one today. The more I look at this game, and that line's gone down. It was at four and a half. And we're going to talk with Jacob Davis. I think either Stromberg, Ricky Stromberg,

the center or Dalton Wagner, the right tackle for the hogs is going to be out. One of those two are going to be out. And this is a game where you look at Arkansas. They are a pretty one-dimensional team offensively. And I think Arkansas fans are smart enough to agree that KJ Jefferson isn't a pure passer right now. Now, deep ball, what separates him into Joe Milton to me at Tennessee is they both are big guys, they're strong-armed guys. Really strong-arm. Joe Milton has no feel on the deep ball.

KJ actually does. Yeah, those are a nice deep ball. He does a pretty nice deep ball and he's got a big arm. Where KJ struggles, and we're going to talk about this with Jacob Davis, is throwing on the run. an intermediate passing game, especially to the outside. And it's funny, I always use baseball analogies and correlations. If you watch, he's like a pitcher that's missing high. When he misses, he misses up.

And that's why I think you see Arkansas working the outsides more, because if I'm going to miss up, I definitely want to make sure I miss up outside because it goes out of bounds. If I miss up across the middle, it's going right into a safety's arms. So KJ still has to take that next step. That's what made that Arkansas, Texas win so impressive. to me is that Texas knew deep down outside of play action, taking a few shots to try and loosen you up.

Arkansas had to run the ball to win that game. And Arkansas lined up and ran it right down their vote. I think they went for 335 and didn't have a rusher for over 100. They spread the love. And against an A&M defense that's really good. Georgia has the best defense in the SEC. A&M's number two, at least what I've seen, after the performance by Alabama against Florida.

Because they went up against SEC guys up front. Does Alabama have a ton of room for growth? Do I think we're going to see that a lot this year from Alabama? No. I think they have the depth and ability to fix it. But A&M's defense is really salty. They just got two defensive starters back. De Marvin Lial, you know, we talk about Darnell, Washington straight out of Mordor.

Leal is straight out of inside the volcano at Mordor. That dude is a freak. And you look around A&M secondary to me, I'm starting to not question them as much. And I know it's New Mexico and they played Colorado and all this. But I'm watching these guys. and I really like the chemistry they have in the back end. But A&M's going to stop the run, or at least they're going to sell out to stop the run.

So if you're Arkansas, this game, in my opinion, is coming down to KJ Jefferson's arm. And you look at Berc's at wide receiver. You're going to have to have a couple other receivers outside of Burke step up too. Arkansas is going to have to throw their way to win this game. A&M's not going to let them run. Elko's not going to let them run.

And Elko may be the most underrated D.C. in the country. Then you look at A&M's offense. Let's look at the flip side of that. We talked about Arkansas's offense. A&M's offense. Surprisingly, even though they replaced those offensive linemen from last year, whether in my opinion, they were maybe the best running team in the country when it came down to it.

They just squeezed you to death. They're struggling to run the ball. You look against Colorado, they struggle to run. They've really struggled to run the ball the whole season consistently, and then you lose your starting quarterback who happens to be a running guy. Well, what's the one thing that helps the run game a lot is when your quarterback can run? Well, now I take, you know, Zone Reed seriously. Now I take any action that looks weird to me or any third and eight

because Haynes King is the guy that could squeeze out of there on third and eight and go run for 20. And then you've got to keep a spy on him. Well, what does a spy do? It takes a guy out of coverage, really. So there's a lot of dominoes that fall to running quarterback. Now you have Zach Kelsata. And if you don't run the ball, if you can't run the ball,

they're not worried about the quarterback run game. So then it becomes down sequential. And I'm going to talk to Billy Lucci about this. Here's where Jimbo has to make his money and it's a lot of money. You're struggling to run. the ball. What's the answer to that with a pocket passer? If you watch in the NFL and Eli made a comment last night on Monday night football, you know, they're running that swing pass. They're running some routes to the back that was really an extended run. You're just getting to the safety without

dealing with the defensive line when you get that alignment you want. If A&M's not able to run the ball early, I think you're going to see a lot of that. I think they're going to try and get A-chain and Spiller really modified runs through the short passing game to the running back to get them one-on-one with the safety, or at least give them a chance to get one-on-one with the safety. Because that's the goal of every run is you get the back to the safety. He makes the safety miss. That's how you hit the home run. But if A&M's able to run the ball, if the light comes on for the odds. See, to me, the odds of A&M being as crazy as this sounds, the odds, I think are better than Arkansas odds to run the ball against A&M. And it's funny saying that because A&M struggled to run the ball,

and Arkansas ran for 335 against Texas. You say small, a little bit. Well, yeah, if I had to guess. If I had to guess. Because what you can't do, we talk about sequential, right? Sequential play calling is, all right, it's first down. We're going to run in second Nate. Well, if I'm Arkansas, if I'm Barry Odom, who happens to be one of the best D.C. s in the country, you've got to guess sometimes.

You do. Especially when you're a little overmatched. And I think Arkansas, from a personnel in depth standpoint, I think Arkansas fans will agree with me. This is Year 2 in Pittman. They didn't expect it this fast. And that's a great problem to have. But I want to get Billy Lucian's. Is Billy ready to get in here?

He's going to hop in here in a minute. Billy's not here yet, but I was going to ask you, we talk a lot about Calzada not being as mobile as Haynes King. Who was the quarterback at Florida State when Jimbo won his national title? James Winston. Not a mobile guy, right? He has had success at the highest level with a great throwing quarterback who's not necessarily a mobile guy. You also had on that team.

You had Kelvin Benjamin on that team. I get it. No, I get it. I get that. I'm just saying that Jimbo Fisher can win ball games when he has a great passing quarterback and not necessarily a mobile quarterback. So he's going to figure out ways, an offensive guru like he is.

Well, what are the best coaches? And this will go back to my point. Nick Saban just did it. I got a term for it, the Nick Saban Epiphany. The, hey, well, we got to score points on offense now. I'm going to go get Lane Kiff and we're going to start spreading this thing out. Because it doesn't just help with winning games, which is the main thing. But to recruit today's offensive guys, most of them are coming up in spread systems.

And not only does it correlate. And, you know, the playbook in college a lot different in high school. most places, but not only does it correlate from a, hey, I'm kind of used to this being wide and taking advantage of space, but it's sexier. Say, hey, man, look, we're going to throw it 35 times, 40 times. You're going to get some targets. Look at all the guys we've had and we put in the league. Coaches that can be malleable, again, I'll say it, and not just new coaches.

The game changes. It's like life goes on, like, and you can't stop it. The game goes on and you can't stop it. In 30 years from now, everybody would be running the wingtie again. It's all cyclical. It's all cyclical. It's what's new. It's what's been old enough, long enough to be cool now.

I'll tell you what's even better than throwing the ball a lot, though, if you're a quarterback is winning. I mean, I remember when I was coming out, Hawaii and Texas Tech were throwing the ball 55, 60 times a game. But, you know, it's more important to go to a place where you know you can win football games. Yes. And a lot of times that downhill run and winning off play action is even better for a quarterback than necessarily throwing 55 times a game. but the game has evolved so much in the last 15 years. I know what you're saying. Yeah, and it all goes back to recruiting.

We talk about the three things. What are those three things we talk about? Recruiting, development, and culture. Those are the three things that it goes into. And if you're going to be a successful program, not only in the short term, but in the long term, you've got to be able to hit all those three, not only hit all those three, excel at all those three.

So Billy Lucci, let's get Billy on in here. One of my favorites. We're going to continue this A&M in Arkansas conversation because it is fascinating. Billy. What's up, man? There he is, man. What's good?

A kitchen disaster just now. A kitchen disaster. Oh, man. Yeah. Not good. The house isn't on fire, is it? You can run if you need to. No, it's more of a flood.

More of a flood issue. Oh, my goodness. I think we got it. I think we got it. It was a brilliant decision by yours truly to soak the pots because I was trying to do what was right and you soak them. You don't wash them in the dishwasher. when you don't have a wife or, you know, girlfriend, you have to sit here and figure these things out yourself. And so I was soaking them.

And I started texting with you and I was on the computer and came down to sit down with you. And I've got a half-flooded kitchen, but we handled it. Well, good. Well, as long as you're not in any present and immediate danger, you know, a lot of big things going on over there in Texas and college station, you know, not excluding your kitchen right now. If you've got to swim over there to fix it, you just let me know, Billy. SEC does really good in swimming and diving. But speaking about the SEC, big one this weekend for A&M. And before we start and get into the nuts and bolts of this, Billy,

because I don't know how much you're able to hear of my monologue on it, which is fantastic, by the way. That's just my opinion. I'm sure it was. I appreciate it. I have just toot my own horn for a second. Sorry. But when you look at the way Colorado, and I'm trying to remember who they played.

I think it was Minnesota the other day, played against my own. Minnesota and using the transitive property is always dangerous. I talk about it all the time. We talk about taking bets, especially in college, using the transit property is tough. When you saw Minnesota kind of run away from Colorado like that, what did you think? Did it make you go back and think about the game a little bit? Or kind of what was your initial thoughts? No, here's what it did. I said this after college. That's the game a lot of, when you see a top 10 team upset by an unranked team, I think a lot of times it's going to have to do with the starting quarterback getting hurt, having to go.

with complete and total inexperience. I thought it was a bad matchup for the Aggies from an experienced Colorado Front 7, a very young, inexperienced Aggie O-Line. Minnesota, that's actually their strength is their offensive line. They had a bunch of opt-outs last year that are back. They're an old.

They kind of remind me of A&M's O line last year. This was an issue, Jake, that you and I talked about during the off-season. And then you combine that with they've started, they started a new quarterback in one game that had never played. They started, they put one in, in the midstream of a second game that had never played.

And with A&M in Colorado, Jimbo, a third of what they were going to do offensively, and then a lot of the stuff built around that was speed option with the quarterback to get the edges and get to the outside. They knew Colorado was going to pack it in inside, and that took that away in the middle of the game. That was a tough one. I almost throw that as an outlier like you do that Vandy game last year. But what I do take away from it is this. Clemson, Texas A&M, Oklahoma.

What in the hell have they done? Oklahoma. Give me another one here. Ohio State. Go down the list. Go down the list. And guess what? People are all jumping around over LSUA.

Their offense looked really good. You played Central Michigan. No one was saying A&M's offense looked good against Kent State. They beat Kent State worse than Iowa did. What is Iowa done? They beat Iowa State. Iowa State stinks. Iowa State wasn't that good.

last year. So UCLA, UCLA just lost to Fresno. What does that say about LSU? They couldn't match UCLA.

So it's too early, but what I do know is this. A&M had better play their best game of the year Saturday, and they better play up to their potential, which isn't,

I don't think right now it's top five. I think right now maybe that's top 15. As the year goes on, I do think their ceiling is higher than most because I say all,

it's not easy, as you know, fix that. oh-line situation. They've got a great defense. They've got great running backs. And Haynes should be back. Calzada is more than capable. But if they don't play their best game of the season to date and play as well as they can play right now on Saturday, their 11-game winning streak will be over. If they do play up to their potential, I still think Texas A&M is a better football team than Arkansas. They haven't shown it through three games. Yeah, Blaine, get the Bistler Club

Brady. I want to throw some questions for them at Billy, but I got a couple of my own. So I'm looking at this, and in the monologue, I talked a lot about the run game. Because if you look at Arkansas, I don't care what anybody says. They're a run-to-pass team that's not even close. It's coached by Sam Pittman, who I love, who's an offensive line guy. I'll give you a hint. Offensive line guy are like quarterbacks that are head coaches are the opposite. Office line guys are going to run it.

Quarterbacks are the end they want to throw it. Like Jimbo's smart enough to know when to run it, but deep down, he's a quarterback. He wants to throw the ball. He wants to throw it around the yard. But when you look at the running game, at Arkansas. And they talked about Stromberg, the center's questionable, right tackle, Wagner's questionable, and I'm going to get to A&M's health in a second. How do you kind of compare these run games? Because if A&M's able to run the ball against Arkansas, I think they're able to

put up a decent amount of points. If Arkansas is not able to run the ball against A&M, I don't see how they score. I agree. But I'll say this, if A&M can't run the ball, they're going to have a hard time scoring as well, because if Zach Calzada gets behind the chains and A&M receivers haven't been overly effective and they put a lot of focus on on wide amire and they're equipped to do so with catalan and morgan and pool the line and henry they can all cover um then then calzada will have a hard time if a nm's ahead of the chains and running the ball and jimbo can get creative with how he gets the ball to number six and zero uh smith and a chain and you get spiller going that's a nm's game

people forget, you know, last year, the Aggies didn't get like a ton of gash plays, and they put up 42. Jimbo schemed it up to where they put up 42 on Barry Odom and that defense last year. Now, different O-line, you know, obviously a different quarterback. You had a senior. But the point is when we're talking about I have all the respect in the world for Odom and the way he can scheme and game plan, let's not forget who's on the A&M side of this as well. For as good as Odom is, Jimbo Fisher's elite when it comes to scheming on how to attack defenses as well, it might not be the, you know, light up the scoreboard and chunk it down the field every play. Although I think they're going to have to do some of that on Saturday in order to loosen up that defense.

You don't want Jalen Catalan live in eight to ten yards from the line of scrimmage. That's a nightmare. And that's a problem for a young inexperienced quarterback. So if they can shut down Arkansas's running game, I think that's where it all starts for A&M. Because if Mike Oco's defense can do that, then I think your starting off point is that this is going to be a close four-quarter football game in that 20 to 17 kind of range.

And then we'd have to get to, well, how's A&M running the football? And are the Aggies able to avoid the short field and turnovers because they're putting the quarterback in position to succeed. A&M has to stop that run game, because if they do, they are run first, past second, like you said. And Jefferson looks really good when he's pulling play action and throwing on second and three or four versus if the Aggies can get them in, especially if they're banged up up front,

if the Aggies can get them into third and seven or eight. Yeah. Well, if you catch Arkansas and ten personnel on third and passing, you've got to feel good about that if you're Mike Elko. Now, health, you know, it's huge. It always is. And without violating any HIPAA violations or whatever it's called, how healthy is A&M right now, Billy?

I think they're pretty healthy. You know, Anaya Smith left that game early. It looked like he got his bell rung. I think he's up from, I think he's going to be fine. That was the one I was wondering about. I don't know that they'll have Caleb Chapman back yet. And they've got some nicks and bruises. It's a little banged up for only playing, you know,

it's not like your three games deep. SEC play. They're a little banged up, but as far as the key guys go, they got Miles Jones back last week. That was significant, his first game since, like, game eight last year. McKinley Jackson came back from suspension. They're pretty healthy. The guy that I think is the one to watch will be Layton Robinson, and I think he'll

be back. But that caused a problem last week, Jake, and people weren't picking up on it. Game three, you're trying to get this continuity in this O-line. I look up in the second half, they got two tackles. And one of them, I think, is going to be a superstar, but he's a true freshman that hadn't played a meaningful snap. The other guy is a third-year guy that hadn't played a meaningful snap. Those are their two tackles and a true freshman center.

So they had two true freshmen, two tackles that had never played a snap that mattered until they were out there in the second half. There's a reason they look shaky and kind of discombobulated up front. It doesn't matter now because Saturday they have to be ready to play. But when you're kind of watching them and going, man, why do they look like that? That's the reason why. So getting Layton Robinson back would really help because you could go back to that unit you started the season with. Yeah, just like anything in life, if you're at where you're comfortable, you're comfortable.

And to really create chemistry and cohesion, you want those same five guys out there getting used to it and going through all the different scenarios in the game. Blaine, Booster Club, are we ready for Billy over there? Yeah, the Booster Club is hot. One, they came out and said we need an M helmet, which I did notice. Yes, we definitely do. Really? need an M helmet. Yeah, I told Coach Craig that a couple months ago.

He said he was going to get one and then the season kind of started. So we got a question here and I like this question. It says, do you see Jimbo coming out early and taking deep shots and how good do you really think Arkansas's secondary is? Billy, I'll let you end of that. I could certainly see A&M doing that. I think I almost, again, going back to what I said, that guy's a great question because I think they have to. Not recklessly and not to just guarantee a couple three and outs to start the game because I think the start for A&M is really significant because I think a lot of what's going on up front

and with the quarterback, it's mental. They're pressing. They're young. They haven't played a bunch. That atmosphere is going to be nuts. A couple of good drives running the football would really, I think, settle things down. But at the same time, you've got to test them out there. You've got to loosen it up. You've got to back them off a little bit and make them respect Deimos. Chase Lane can make plays. obviously a nice i wouldn't mind you know throw it down the field of your big tight end they've got to do something early probably more than once to say you're going to respect this today and and i do think there's some vulnerability out there on the perimeter for arkansas again this is a this is a really good Arkansas football team they're still not elite um i think they're ranked about where

they should be i think people are underestimating that texas is not very good um and Arkansas got them at home and beat the brakes off of them. This is the best Arkansas team A&M's played, I think, since maybe Bilema had won, but probably since Petrino left, but maybe Bilema had one, so maybe one of the two best in the last decade. It's a real test, but I also don't want to make it out like this is 2019 LSU or last year's Alabama team.

This is a game that should be a four-quarter fight. And one thing about A&M guys is one thing they're used to since Jimbo arrived, I think they're 14 and 3. I went back and looked in games that you would say were decided midway through the fourth quarter or later. They're 14 and 3 in close competitive four-quarter games. And two of those three, one was at Georgia and one was against Clemson. So they're used to what they should be getting into, but they better show up more prepared to play than they did when they went up to Denver.

No, I agree. And you brought up Deemis. I'm going to get one more question from the booster club, Blena. Deemis to me could be, you talk about a vertical threat. I know it was New Mexico, but just watching him, watching him run, watching the ease he can catch the ball with in stride. That's a guy that everybody knows is really athletic. There's a lot of hype about him coming in. I thought he did a pretty good job in his first performance. But from a potential standpoint, I think his potentials out of this roof. Top 15, top 20 pick potential. That's how good I think. this kid can be. I mean, look at his size. You look at his size. You look at his flexibility. I mean, he's not awkward. He doesn't run funny. It's all smooth. Let's get one more for the booster club and let belly go swim back to the kitchen. Got one here. With the offensive defense being kind of matched on both sides, how big are special teams in this game? Yeah, I think that's enormous. And the question is after, you know, Anias left, is he back there returning punts? He had, he had one he took to the house and another one he took about

50 or 60 yards. They ruled his knee had grazed the grass when he spun out of that first tackle. He was that close to having two punt returns for touchdowns last week. Sputter Nick Constantino, special teams player of the week this week. They've got a veteran kicker in Cess Small that's kicked in that building four times, and they kick off out of the end zone with Caden Davis. So the Aggies are well-equipped special teams-wise. I know Arkansas has got a really good young kicker and dangerous return.

men as well. I'm one of those that thinks it might not be because of a play made on special teams, but this is one of those games where you just better not make a mistake. Yeah, and field position. Yeah, field position is huge in this game. And what's funny, too, I love the kicker matchup in this and we'll let you ride, Billy. It's Blaine, what are the name? It is Cam Little versus Seth Small.

There's always a shot if Clemson still can't follow the bouncing balls on offense and DJ can't get the time right in the pocket. It could be close. I just don't see NC State being able to score with that quarterback against Clemson's defense. I still can't believe the drop off in offense for Clemson.

It's bad. We've talked about Oklahoma, right? We've talked about Ohio State. The drop off for Clemson offensively is the biggest cliff anybody's gone off yet. We can talk about Alabama getting pushed around a little bit up front in the second half. It's not close to the problem Clemson is having on offense. And I do want to give a shout out to Jeff Collins, buddy of the show, Georgia Tech. They played them tough last weekend.

Yes, they did. They played them tough last weekend, and they don't have nearly the dudes that they have at Clemson. And we really like Jeff, hope they can get it turned around over there. But speaking about turning around, let's get to this top 10, Coney. Oh, let's go, man. I'm excited about this. Tell me how you want it, man. You want six through 10 or one through 10?

Yeah, let's go 6 through 10. Let's say the apps out there. Boom. All right, 10, Clemson. People will be like, all right, you know, you talk about Clemson, the big drop off. Why are they top 10? Your only loss is to Georgia. You're going to see why we kept from the top 10 here in the second.

That defense is still top four, top five in the country to me. I just don't see a world in where Clemson doesn't figure it out offensively, but also the parody in college football nowadays, especially you look at the ACC, Miami is getting drug around by their ankles. North Carolina, lost other's weapons not nearly what they are on offense. It's going to be a fist fight for them in a lot more games than what they thought. So when you look around the rest of the ACC, Clemson could have a very average offense and still win every game in that league

and put themselves in a position to make the playoff even though it's not a good one. And if you're not winning sexy, it hurts your case a lot more, even if you did lose to Georgia, because we all know what that means. Especially with all the one-lost teams out there right now. That's exactly right. So we got Clemson 9, or excuse me, Clemson 10, Cincinnati 9. I'm not going to punish Cincinnati for going on the road and beating Indiana. I mean, that's a big win for that.

If you'd have told Cincinnati fans five or six years ago that you guys would be kind of happy with going on the road and beating Indiana by what they beat them by, I think they'd have looked at you and put you in the nearest middle institution. They're like, all right, hey, we found another one. Put him in the, get the jacket, put his arms behind his back. Don't let him touch the kids. Like those are the things. So we got Cincinnati 9. Penn State, I believe, number 8, yep, right there.

Went over Auburn, even though I question how good Penn State really is. I mean, Auburn rushed three and then didn't cover a receiver or a tight-in almost 70% of the time. Made it easy on them, but you still got to make those. You still got to make the plays. Oklahoma at number 7, they're dropping like it's hot. I'm not keeping them in the top five. They can't run the ball. Spencer Rattler is putting the ball in unbelievable precarious situations,

no matter how many interviews him and Lincoln Riley do talking about how he's not a free thrower anymore. If he's not a free thrower, then I don't know what was going on when he was in a... He just closed his eyes and throw it around or pull the Max Johnson, the N1 mixtape tour and go behind his back on that. So we got Oklahoma at 7 and then it's 6. Ole Miss. That's right.

That's right. Ole Miss at number 6. Tell me why not. Now, people will say, and I've said it on this show, their defense is still not great. I admit that. They couldn't be as bad as they were last year. are they good enough now to get two to three stops and a couple turnovers in some games they need?

I think they got a chance, and I'm not making a pun on Chance Campbell, the starting Mike linebacker that they picked up as a pretty good player. Now, they've beaten Louisville, okay, and they've beaten Tulane, okay, but if you're watching the way they're operating on offense, that offense's going to put points up against almost everybody they play. They may have an off game or two like everybody does because we're dealing with human beings. But right now I'm looking at the SEC West, and I'm looking at the top 10. I'm not how can I put

Oklahoma in front of Ole Miss right now and they have a future future Heisman trophy winner in Macaro he's the best player in college football well well to me how can you talk about Spencer Radler how can you consider a guy

a Heisman contender when you get outplayed by Adrian Martinez man He's not Yeah and the kid from Tulane Yeah well well you say okay All right let's look at common opponents then Tulane went out to Oklahoma and almost upset him out there

A play away a play away Ole Miss beat the brakes off at two lines. They dropped 40 on them in a half. I'm not talking about basketball. 700 total yards. I think a lot of it has to do it. And it could have been. They could have scored 100.

The Oklahoma quarterback just has a lot to do with that system. If you're in that system and you're a quarterback at Oklahoma, you're going to get yardage. If you can run the ball. And that offensive line is not the same as good as it's been in past years. No. And that league has a lot to do with it. They don't play a lot of defense over there. I agree.

They don't get guys drafted in the first round either. Boy, them Texas Oklahoma fans will be mad. They stay, I mean? Facts are facts. They're SEC, though. Facts are facts. Yeah, they're SEC, though. Y'all are SEC now you all right. Now y'all can get guys drafted in the first round. A lot. You're going to have a few guys can get drafted in the first round. All right. So, though that top five up here. O'Miss at number six. Shout out O'M. Stephen Willis going to love that. All right, five. To me, this is where it got kind of weird. Four and five. Because I'm looking at Iowa and like, I can't punish them. I'm looking at A&M. I'm like, I'm like, A&M. I'm like, I really can't punish them. And I think Billy Lucci's right. A&M's ceiling is really high. Because if that offensive line comes together and they can run the ball and protect Calzada a little bit,

they'll have, they'll be honest in the passing game, but they need to rely on the running game to protect Calzada. If you put that horse in front of the other one, I think A&M may be able to do some things. And for them to be Bama? Because think about this, guys. And I swear I'm right on this. Bama plays Ole Miss October 2nd

and then plays A&M October 9th. and I believe they get old they get Bama plays Ole Miss at home and they go to A&M they go to A&M. They go to A&M. So A&M's going to have a chance if they can get it together.

You got to get by Arkansas and that's not going to be an easy task but that'd be a nice win. If they're able to put it together, a confidence building win, I think so. Look, I just, I just, at this point I look at it.

The best team with the best chance to be Bama's Ole Miss. I can't say you're right. Well, see, here's where it gets conflicting, though. Here's where it gets conflicting, though. And we're going to find out soon. We're going to find out next week.

Next weekend, we'll find out. But with A&M, you could make the case that O'M needs to be five, and A&M can be six. I get that. Two things can be true at once. But I still wonder in that A&M Ole Miss matchup, which I believe's in Oxford. I believe it's in Oxford.

What are you asking? A&M, I think, goes to O'Miss this year. Pretty sure they go to O'Miss. Yeah, that's right. They go to O'MIS. If A&M takes away the run from Ole Miss, we talked about this yesterday, it could get really, really interesting. Well, I mean, you look at A&M is not the same running team.

No. And it's not even close. They were the best running team, in my opinion, in the country. It got Kell and Mon drafted as crazy as that sounds. And if you're not that same team, and we saw what happened to bammoth between the tackles against Florida, obviously. And the one way you stop Ole Miss is by stopping what? The run. The run.

Everybody thinks pass, pass, pass, pass, pass. Go look at the numbers. Ole Miss is sneaky with the run game, Ely sneaky, and Matt Corridor. Corral had four rushing touchdowns against Tulane. Matt Corral running is kind of a missing piece. You talk about extending drives? And we talk about it all the time on here. So it's a great argument.

All right, number three, Oregon. We have Iowa at four. I'm going to keep them in the top five. I mean, you've done nothing but prove it to me. Right now you're looking like you and Penn State are looking like the cream of crop in the big ten. And Iowa does not play Ohio State. Penn State does, even though Iowa plays Penn State, I believe. At home.

All right. Oregon number three, went on the road, beat Ohio State. Stony Brook, you didn't play great, but you didn't play great against Fresno, and that wins looking a lot better than it did after Fresno went out to, not the upper corner of Lower Alabama, but UCLA out there on Rodeo and beat him up a little bit, ran up and down, which a shout out John Middilcoff, who was a GA at Fresno State. He was telling me, keep up the Fresno State love on. Shout out LSU.

Shout out LSU. Hey, guys. All right. And then number two, Alabama. We got some movement here, movement alert, and number one, Georgia. Georgia to me is the number one team in the country right now. You look at the way in again. We talked about it at nauseam yesterday.

Florida got up, played their best game, best three quarters that they could have played. I thought Dan in the second half called it as good as he could have called it. I don't think he could have called it any better. And he's one of the best in the country of doing it. But Georgia to me defensively, if Florida was able, when they were up, and both these teams are going to be up in this game, you're going to get really good play out of Georgia and Alabama. I think Alabama's going to have trouble moving the ball against Georgia. Because if they can't run it, you can't run it, you can't run.

against Florida? You damn sure aren't running against Georgia. I mean, you could, I don't know who in the country can run the ball against Georgia right now. I don't think anybody can. So if that's the case, you're putting it all on Bryce and that vertical passing

game hasn't clicked yet with that group of receivers. And you're not, and don't think Georgia doesn't know that. And if you're going to sit here and say, Georgia can say, all right, we can stop the run with four, we can pass rush with four, you can do a lot in the middle to confused Bryce. Yeah, you're not scoring 31 against Georgia. You're not scoring 31 a against Georgia. And you got 21 early against Florida. But now, we talk about growth,

right? Sealing, right? Alabama probably has the highest ceiling out of any team in the country to be able to grow and fix those physical mistakes when you recruit at that clip. That's why. But you look at Georgia and kind of look at the trend here. Georgia best defense in the country, hands down. Offensively, you're starting to get guys back. Kieris was back. We got a great interview with him this week. Kieris Jackson, the wide receiver. Darnell Washington starting to get closer to coming back, and you've created great depth there with Brock Bauer. See, that's why when you play without guys sometimes,

building depth during the season, while you don't want to be in that position, it can be huge late in the season. One of the guys that had to make plays early before these other guys came back is going to make a big play either in the SEC championship or the playoff or the national championship, and you're going to remember it. You're going to go back to weeks one through three

and say, man, we hated guys got hurt, but, God, adding that depth was huge in the long run. Huge. Tykees Smith, come. back on defense. That defense's only going to get better. They're only adding. They've got a stable at running back. Matt Luke, we had a great conversation with Jamari Sawyer earlier today. We're going to drop that later this week. That group's going to continue to get better. And if Georgia is able to run the ball against Alabama and JT has the full menu off play action in the screen game,

Georgia can win that game. You know what else Alabama has, though? They have a champion's confidence because they've done it before. And you know all these other teams, they can have all the talent in the world and they can be favored, this, this and that. You still have to go take the crown. You know, and the onus is on everyone else right now to go take that crowd. Pressure's on Georgia. Make no mistake. Pressure's on, what's the one hump they got to get over? It's Alabama. That's it.

Now, that's a great problem to have. Yeah. It's a great problem to have. But there's something in the air this year. It smells a little different. It smells a little different. It was out there, you know you could take it, but after that Florida game, it's almost like, all right, we can grab it. Well, it's blood in the water.

You turn that tape on, you can smell a little blood in the water. It's not just a bunch of X-Men versus everybody else, which is what it's been. Georgia's got a few X-Men of their own. A few. It's straight up Marvel versus D.C. when they play. I mean, it's a conundrum. But that's the top 10. I'm going to drop that graphic out on social. What's the Booster Club think?

They think we're nuts about Ole Miss? No, they don't. A lot of White Day that takes so long to get Bama to move number two. Well, I mean, we dropped the ring again. Why would I move them after the way against Mercer? You think they went 49 to 14 against Mercer? I'm like, no, get them out. I actually have a question here from John Addison.

He says, if UGA drops a regular season game and loses in the SEC championship, what teams besides Bama do you see getting in? And the SEC are just in general? I would say in general. Well, I mean, you would say Bama, Georgia with two losses ain't getting in. I think Oregon, if they run the table, I would say, I'm just telling you guys right now, when you look at it, Cincinnati beats Notre Dame and UCF's quarterbacks out? Same thing with Iowa.

Cincinnati's going to be in this thing. They go undefeated. Yeah, for sure. You may wind up. If that happens, and this is totally hypothetical because I think Georgia's won the whole thing. upset it since the off season. If only one team out of the SEC makes it, and it's Bama, you could legitimately have Bama, Oregon, Iowa, Penn State, and Cincinnati.

Can you imagine that in the playoff? Talk about what nobody expected. That could really legitimately happen. Because Cincinnati goes undefeated. The way Clemson's looking with that one loss, you can't put them in. Ohio State can't put them in. Can you imagine if another team from Ohio other than Ohio State made the playoff? I'm sure you'd hate that kind of.

Yeah, I'm sure Cohn would hate that. Even more torture. Luke, like, can you just imagine just the feeling for Luke Fickle, Ohio State guy, played there from there? You go coach at Cincinnati and you make the playoff, and Ohio State doesn't while Ryan Day's there? Who was the head coach at Ohio State the last time Michigan beat them? It was a, we're talking about him. Luke Fickle. Luke Fickle.

Right? And my friends are like, why are you being so Krugel, we're 3 and O, and this is, especially the early years that he was there. I'm like, they're not playing the style of football that they need to beat Ohio. That's how everything revolves around that. You know, when I was there, that's what they're called. What are we splitting hairs here? No, I just love how you do that.

I love how you do that. We're splitting hairs. Something is different. Like I said, going forward on fourth and one inside the goal line, that was, you didn't see that two years ago, you didn't see that three years ago. Something is different in Ann Arbor, but how I just said about Alabama, you have to go take the crown, someone in the Big Ten, someone else, has to go take the crown from Ohio.

And I don't just mean Penn State winning a Big Ten championship here and there. I'm talking about you haven't beaten this team in so long. The onus is on Michigan, like I told you in the dialogue we had in the summer. The onus is on them to keep this rivalry great. And I need to be shown. I like the direction that we're training 11 straight touchdowns to start that game against Northern Illinois, a team who beat Georgia Tech. Things are trending in the right direction.

Yeah. And look, I want Michigan to be good for college football. Yes. You know, I want every region of the country to have good teams. But we talk a lot about this A&M archie game. All right, everybody, let's get the Arkansas perspective here on the big weekend, big game against A&M and Jerry's World. We've been talking about it all day. Excited to be joined by Jacob Davis. Unbelievable first names. Guys got a good. great first name on them from Arkansas Fight.com.

Jacob, what's up, man? Hey, man, just doing the Lord's work covering the Arkansas Razorbacks for Arkansas Fight. Man, good season going so far, and hopefully we'll have some more good news to share on Saturday when they face Texas A&M on CBS after the 230 game. Yeah, I want to start with kind of the health of the team right now. You know, there's been some talk about a couple offensive linemen that may be banged up. What are you hearing, Jacob, because that's going to be a big deal with two teams that really need to be able to run the ball to have success on offense Saturday? Yeah, so we're missing our center, one of the best centers in the country, Ricky Stromberg, and then we are missing right tackle Dalton Wagner.

Man, it's going to be tough. If we don't get either of them back, it'll be a little bit harder to run the ball. Right now, I think if you miss Ricky Stromberg, I think that's a bigger deal than losing Dalton Wagner. Yeah. Because I think there's depth there at right. tackle. As far as Center goes, I was pleased with how they did with Ty Clary, Undercenter on Saturday after he came in for Ricky Stromberg. I think him being able to have the prior experience, which he was the starter before Ricky Stromberg signed with Arkansas

back in 2019. He's got the experience. I don't think it would be too much of a drop-off, but you hate missing your start, you know. And then Ricky, and then you have Dalton Wagner, the right tackle. Guys, he's big, and I think a lot of people are underselling how big of it deal it is losing him. He's a big body, 6-8, 300-something pounds. I think if you lose him, you had Tykees-Crawford,

the former four-star prospect down there in Texas, transfer out of Charlotte. I think he's, I don't know if he's ready yet for the big-time SEC football, but he sure is big. And I think if you have, I think if he gets the quality snaps this week, you'll be ready Saturday. So are you banking on them not having at least one or two of those guys, Stromberg and Wagner? Do you think there's a pretty good chance one of them's out?

Yeah, I think one of them's out. Absolutely. Okay. Well, moving on to, and I want to stick with the Arkansas offense, because looking at this A&M game, when you look at the other offense on the other side of the ball, they've been a little bit stagnant, they've struggled to run the ball. Arkansas, in my opinion, and look, I'm really high on KJ Jefferson's potential. I think he needs some more time as a thrower. I think he needs more game reps as a thrower.

We all know he's got a big arm. He's able, you know, against Georgia Southern, he was, you know, fitting balls in down the field pretty well. It's that intermediate game. And really when he's on the move, when he has to create and he has to throw off platform is where you see him kind of throw the ball high, lead the pitch high, as we say. How key is the run game for Arkansas to not only take some pressure off KJ from a dropback passing standpoint, but take some pressure off of him and actually.

add a little juice to the play action because they're not going to run it down A&M's throat for four quarters like they did against Texas. No, it's going to be crucial, man. The run game, especially, like I said, missing those two offensive linemen, is going to hurt KJ. Jefferson and giving his time to throw the ball and be able to have Arkansas run the ball. I think if you can get maybe 50 or 60 yards from a couple of backs and be able to get a couple of those big runs, maybe six to seven to eight yards here

and there. That opens it up for KJ. I think KJ, who I think is a better passer running the football, like you said in the play action, I think it'll pay off if Arkansas can get that run game going on Saturday. They can have success. Now, Texas A&M's defense, we've seen what they've been able to do all year, and it's going to be crucial for them at Arkansas to be able to pass the ball because, I mean, they've got a stout front seven at the agis. Yeah, you know, I think Georgia, I think we can all agree. Georgia has the best front seven on defense. A&M's right behind him. I put A&M at two, especially after seeing what Florida did to Alabama in the interior of that defense. And not only the three tech and the shade, the interior guys, nose, tackle whatever you want to call them,

but also, you know, an interior at the linebacker position. And Barry Odom, talking about the Arkansas defense, to me, he's going to be a head coach soon. Again, a guy that's kind of been through it has put together last year. I thought he put together some really smart defensive plans. This year you're seeing him evolve a little bit defensively. Talk about the leadership on defense. I mean, you look at Bumper Pool, all-name team, really good player as well. Grant Morgan, a guy that's just everywhere.

He's a human GPS. It's like he knows where everybody's going at all times. How big when you look at that defense is kind of that double whammy of Bumper Pool and Grant Morgan be able to hold A&M down a little bit. You know, those guys are everywhere. And you're missing a guy, you're forgetting a guy. Hayden Henry. Don't forget his name. The guy flies around.

and he's always, almost always the first man there. He may not get you, but he holds up enough for the second guy, third guy to come in there and make the tackle. Jacob, is that Hunter's brother? Is that Hunter's brother? Is that Hunter Henry's brother? Okay. Yeah, I'm used to seeing those guys that tied in.

Yeah. Well, it's good. It's always great to see it. And you're right. I mean, he's had a really good year. And that really gives you really good players at three different levels, which is what you want on defense. It kind of helps you to be able to.

control, be able to find and sniff stuff out early, especially when they get the gap scheme against them. But when you look at this matchup, Jacob, and again, I'm just excited that Arkansas fans have something to get excited about now. You know, welcome back to relevancy. I know that fan base has been kind of relegated, getting excited about three wins last year. You look up your rank this year, and that Sam Pittman hire is looking pretty good. We'll get to that in a second. But outside of the normal generic stuff that everybody talks about, the run game, the past game, you defensively tackling an open space. What are a few things that maybe non-casual fans of Arkansas need to be watching this

weekend in this matchup? Maybe a guy to step up that hasn't made a ton of noise yet. I mean, everybody named Traylon on Arkansas teams on Arkansas's teams pretty good. So anybody outside of those two, you expect to make some noise? You know, there's another Trayland on this team, Traylin Smith. That guy, he can run the ball. I know, the running game is key. Trayland Smith is an unknown commodity outside of Arkansas, really.

That guy needs to step up. He needs to have 90 or more yards this Saturday in order for Arkansas to have success and be able to beat Texas A&. That's a guy I'm looking for to step up offensively. Defensively, I think it's going to be Isaiah Nichols, the defensive tackle. Number 93. He plays beside John Ridgeway. Those two guys, I think, are a good dynamic at defensive tackle.

I think a guy, I think I've heard a nickname for Ridgeway. I don't know if you've heard of him. Big number 99, 663.25. Oh, yeah, Ridgeway, Hacksaw Ridgeway. Yeah, that guy, he's going to be good. He's going to be really good. Yeah. Well, it sounds like Jacob Ridgeway is either going to call some penetration or be my lawyer

when I need some help with a name like that. But we got all the Jacobs lined up. But are you ready to go out on a limb and maybe throw a score out here? Jacob is it too early in the week? I don't want to jump anything. you'll have at Arkansas fight, man. How you feeling? No, so I'll absolutely share. This Friday, we do have our column, weekly column, staff predictions, and I'm going to call it right now. I'm going to say it's going to be 13 to 10,

and it's going to be a coin flip. It's going to be our low scoring ball game, I think, 13 to 10. I want to say A&M, and people are going to, Razorback fans, they're not going to be happy once they hear this. I'm not confident enough right now to say A&M's 10-game winststreet. week is over. I'm not not confident that yet. Yeah, well, Jacob, I appreciate you sharing your honest opinion. That's the whole thing about this show. We're not going to tell people what they want to hear.

He's 5'4.6? Maybe. Oh, he's 5.4.6 this year. All right. From 30 to 39 yards out, he's 2 for 2. 3 for 3, 40 to 49 yards out. So he is, I mean, he's 0 for 1 for that 50 plus. Okay, understandable.

Then we turn the page. All right. We go to Cam Little. God, the names are just. Small versus Little. Who's 6 for 6 this year? He's 6 foot 6? God, the best.

I'm sorry. I'll stop. So 20 to 29, he's 4 for 4. and 30 for 39 is 1 for 1, 40 to 49 is 1 for 1. I think this game, and I'm not really upset about that score. I'm not surprised by that score. I wouldn't be shocked by that. This game's going to come down to field kicking.

I can tell you right now, it's going to come down to field position, who doesn't make the big turnover, and who makes the most field goals? That's why I think it's going to come down to. Wouldn't shock me, especially if both teams have played kind of the way we've seen them. Because, I mean, you look at this line back. Well, the red zone, think about this in the red zone. You can't run the ball in the red zones where that really hurts. You look at this linebacker core for Arkansas, and they're good.

The D-Line. Arkansas is extremely fundamental and technique sound. Well, Grant Morgan, he's a human GPS. You just type in the plane. He's like, it's there. There it is. Bumper Pool has the most tackers on the team with 30. Yeah.

I mean, that was really good last year. Yeah, and your name's Bumper Pool. That's true. It's tough not to be good when he names Bumper Pool. And the Hayden Henry. Hayden Henry, your brother plays for the Patriots. It's like a lot of good stuff's happening. Yeah, a lot of good emotions going on over there.

All the one's Grant Morgan, the captain of your team. Yeah. Captain Morgan, did you mean to do that, or is that just? Maybe. Yes, no, he didn't mean to do that. Can I say yes? Can I say yes? Am I the most interesting man in the world? Who knows?

Who knows? Shout out Doseckies. Anyway, Blaine, let's get to the booster club before we wrap this one up. So we got a questionnaire from Grant Addison. He says, Colorado ran for 180 yards against A&M. And Colorado proved last week that that team is not very good. You know, they were missing their best running back. Are we just discounting that performance from A&M's defense?

Yeah, well, you know, me and Billy Lee talked about this. Shout out Grant, by the way. Grant's a great follow on Twitter as well. But when you're using the transit of property, it's tough because things fluctuate, whether it's players that were playing in the game, players that weren't playing in the game, you can still take something from it. You can still get something out of it. But I think A&M getting that Colorado experience with Calzata,

because think about the roller coaster that was, you're going out to Denver to play, your starting quarterback goes down early, it cuts off half the play, but they made a great point about that because what A&M looked like they want to do with stretch you in the perimeter, loosening up the inside to help that run game. Now they can't really do that with Calzada, so it took a lot out of the playbook. So I wouldn't read too much into that. I would look at more of the body of work that A&M has struggled to run the ball really throughout the season, and they haven't played a bunch of elite teams to this point.

So if you're going to hang your hat in that arena at all, I would hang it on the full body of work. And I do, I grant, to be honest, I don't think that defense is overrated, I really don't. I think they're really talented. I think they're a top five defense in the country. Does that mean Arkansas can't win the game? No. They're just,

Arkansas is going to have to play really above their head from a passing game standpoint and really an offensive standpoint to win this game as low scoring as I think it will be. Just get a little good stat right here from Tyler Callahan. He says A&M is 88th in run defense and Arkansas is ninth in rushing yards. Okay, I get that.

But when you look at A&M's defensive front, let's really go through it. I mean, how many points have been? scored against A&M's defense. Not a lot. Not a lot. And Arkansas has had huge games running the ball. And against Texas, that's huge.

That's obviously huge. I'll say it again. Texas knew you're going to run the ball. You ran it anyway and had a bunch of success. But this Texas A&M defensive lines for real, and this is a big game. And typically, the linemen show up for the big games. And I think they will. Look, it's going to be awfully physical up front.

It's going to be awfully physical. Yeah, if Arkansas is missing their center. That's where... That'll be a huge... Especially look. Center? And tackles close. Yeah.

Right. Tackles close. You're on an island, especially tackles these days as the D-Ns you're facing. Good luck. But center, like you can't be a... You're best center who's one of the best centers in the nation. I heard from Jacob.

Like, you can't be missing that guy against this A&M front. No. Well, it's the most underrated thing in football. Probably outside of kicking, but I don't think kicking is really that underrated anymore. more, but snapping, stepping, and blocking. You touch the ball every play. It's so hard.

And it's so hard. It's so hard to do. And people that's, you know, it's like the NFL long snappers having to block because you can't do rugby in the NFL. That's tough. Having to snap, then set, then block while a guy's running full speed, who was three inches away from the ball when it snapped, and it's bigger than you probably, that's tough. It starts making sense. And then the second half, it's going to be a lot of Emery and Anthony downhill if they are 15 plays. And they're just going to grind you out because your defense is going to be worn out. It's just the truth. And I'll scream it from the hills. I'll die on that hill. I don't see Tennessee. They don't have the personnel to run what they're running and have success. They don't.

Sorry. The question is, how many turnovers does Henn and Hooker in the Tennessee offense have? If they have more than one, they're going to lose. I'm just going to tell you. I'm just going to tell you, because Ford is going to squeeze you to death. You don't think Hindenhooker is an upgrade above Joe Milton? You want some stats here? Give me some stats, but you've got to look at when they came in and who they played against.

I don't have all that. I just have some basic stats. All right, give me some basic stats here. Give me some non-contextual stats. Here are some non-contextual basic stats, right? Hinden Hooker, 70% completion rating 5-3-3-8-3 average. Joe Milton, the 3, 51% completion rating 5.4 average with 1-T-1-1-4 average with 1-T-Herker. and no picks.

Well, I watched, I watched, I've watched Tennessee a lot. Hendon Hooker destroyed Tennessee Tech. Congrats. They destroyed them. Those numbers are going to be inflated because of that. But what I saw when Hooker was in the game for Tennessee is that while he is a more competent passer, believe it or not than Joe Milton, he is not a more confident decision maker than Joe Milton is.

He's going to put the ball in harm's way more now. There's some good and there's some bad that comes out of that. It's just how bad is bad a pick six or two? Is bad a pick in your own red zone? or is bad a pick on a deep ball that they get that's almost a punt. That's where I think you grade in a hooker. Joe Milton just has one pitch and he throws it high. I mean, he overthrows everything on the vertical.

He can throw the hitch 100 miles per hour. Yeah, he can't. But anything outside of that, he can't control the change-up. It's like some guys playing the PGA and some guys do long-distance contest. That is such a great way to put it. And some people like Bryce and Deschambeau try and do both. Yeah. Don't get me started on that guy.
