All right, everybody. Welcome to another Sunday recap after what has been and what seems to happen every weekend. Another wild weekend of college football. We called it upset Saturday. came to fruition in a couple forms, but very excited for you guys to join us. Make sure while you're at it, I know this isn't on YouTube,

I really appreciated the numbers have been crazy, and that's because of you guys. And also shout out the booster club. But I want to hop right in this thing. I want to start with Baylor. and Oklahoma. And I'll get to the end and, you know, calling the time out to kick the field goal and why Dave Irondon did it. But looking at the game and we touched on this all week, you know, Baylor coming off a loss, a game in my opinion, they should have won Oklahoma, who has just

survived, barely survived, whether it be against Kansas, whether it be against Tulane, they've shown some sparks. Caleb Williams, obviously an excellent player, and he's going to be an excellent the player going forward. But just like with any young quarterback, whether it be Caleb Williams, whether it be Bryce Young, whether it be C.J. Stroud, there's going to be ups and downs. And when it's not going good, sometimes it can snowball. And you saw Caleb Williams when it wasn't going good yesterday, kind of get upset, kind of put his head down a little bit, Lincoln Riley, talking to him on the sidelines, because again, even if you are a young guy at the quarterback position, since you played that position, the other guys look up to you. It's how it's always going to be.

But Spencer Radler came in and offensively, Oklahoma went, went able to do anything. You know, the run game wasn't strong. They weren't able to be balanced. And they did what we talked about in Keys to Victory on Friday. They made Caleb Williams beat them with his arm. And right now, that's more of a risk than letting Caleb Williams run all over you, which does open up the pass more, which lets them improvise more, which lets him extend plays more, turn the scramble drill into big plays. But Baylor didn't do that. Dave Rand's plan was I'm going to box you win.

I'm going to keep everything underneath. And you're going to have to prove it to me that you can go through progression, stow it down the field accurately, whether it be the vertical, whether it be the intermediate game and really the underneath game, which I thought Caleb really struggled with the intermediate game. But Baylor did a good job. And then on the other side, Oklahoma's defense didn't play horrible. I actually thought Oklahoma's defense played one of their better games of the season.

but again, the offense, it wasn't complimentary football, and you saw what happened there at the end. And it's a huge win for Baylor. And really, when you look at the numbers, when you died that into him, you look at it by quarter, man, it was really even going into the fourth. I mean, neither team scored a point in the first. It was tied 7.7 in the second. Baylor gets a field goal on the third. Remember, you had missed field goals from each side. And then all of a sudden, Baylor in the fourth quarter, scored 17 points.

It's Oklahoma, scored that touchdown, but it wasn't enough. And Baylor escapes with the 27 to 14 win. And you saw kind of the blueprint or the architectural design on how to make Caleb Williams beat you with his arm. It was just a great plan from Dave Miranda. And you look, it's a great time to get a great win if you're a guy like Dave Miranda with the LSU job open with Florida. And I'll get into that looking like it could possibly be open. So Dave Randas is the name you're going to continue to hear. but it's a big win for Baylor.

It was, and as they continue, you know, the new Aranda style, not your typical Baylor Baylor team where the splits are nuts and they're going super fast and they're throwing it around and it's like the Globetrotters on offense looks similar to what, you know, Tennessee does offensively or wants to do offensively. So a huge win for them and they kind of gave a blueprint for everybody that is playing Caleb Williams in Oklahoma going forward. I do want to hop into this Georgia Tennessee game. really quickly. And it's funny, you know, I don't want to be redundant. I don't want to come on here

and say the same thing every week. But Tennessee, our Georgia has been so consistent. And the example we've used and we will continue to use is gravity. Tennessee, just like we thought, came out, scored, went right down the field, got all the momentum, up seven to nothing. And Georgia didn't panic. Georgia didn't fall for the trap. That was the key to victory. You can't fall for Tennessee's trap. What is their trap? They want you to try and match their style of play because they run such an alternative style of offense when you have to match what they do 99.9% of the time, that is different than what you do offensively. So they get you out of rhythm while they stay on their rhythm and they start cooking. We saw it happen against Kentucky.

Kentucky said, oh, I guess you're just going to have to score every time. So we're going to have to start doing stuff outside of ourselves. We're going to start taking chances, taking risks. And they got away with some of it. But in the end, Tennessee's got a much better chance to win a shootout than they have a 17-10 game. And they came out looking like road beaters. The difference was Georgia's run game showed up and showed up big. James Cook had one of the best games I've ever seen in play.

He went 10 for 104 with two tuds. It wasn't beautiful from everybody else. but I mean McIntosh had seven for 46 in a touchdown. Stetson ran eight times for 40 yards in a touchdown, and that's the difference. Stetson can give you that. And you didn't see a guy that we saw last week in J.T. Daniels. So it goes to tell me, this is Stetson's team.

They're going to ride the lightning out with him. If something happens, they can bring J.T. Daniels in, and that'd be the right move. But looking at the game, to me, after Tennessee scored early, what you saw was Georgia kept mixing up their deep. defenses. They do have depth. It's tough when you're playing that style of Tennessee, even when you do have depth. But Georgia wasn't just sticking in base. Kirby Smart and Dan Laining weren't stubborn. They were mixing up looks, even though Tennessee was going fast. They were trying to mix up fronts.

And they really took away the Tennessee run game. And I know Josh Heipel's a past guy. It's a passing offense. I get it. But you still have to be balanced. Just like with Lane Kiffin, we talk about this. You can't assume that Josh Hyple is doing the same thing that Mike Leach is because he's not. That run game is unbelievably important. And when you look at the box score and you go back and watch the game and you watch the flow of the game and you look at the numbers, it's pretty easy to see who dominated the line of scrimmage. And we all know whoever wins the line of scrimmage wins the game. It's just the facts of the case. And I thought there were some bright spots for Tennessee when you're playing a team like Georgia, it's tough.

But Tennessee didn't take advantage of some opportunities either. Missed on a couple deep balls. Dropped a couple in the intermediate. I thought Hendon was, you know, all right. It was 2437 for 244. It touched out in an interception. But the red zone. The red zone.

When the field shrinks, that's when the money is made as a play caller. We say it all the time. A lot of guys can move the ball in between the 20s. But when you get inside the 20, when the safeties are able to come up, when the field's a lot shorter, what do you have in the bag? And if you can't run the ball, it's very hard to just pick people to death on the outside in the red zone or sneak behind people. That's why you started seeing some sprint out. But Georgia again, like gravity, they're always there. You feel like you're in the game?

And you look up halfway through the third and you're like, how the hell are we down 24? How? That's what good teams do. In a world of inconsistent college football, Georgia is the shining light of consistency. And you mix that with elite talent and you know what you have? A championship football team. You have the best team in the country. And that's what Georgia has shown.

and I'm the type where if a team shows you who they are enough, you need to believe them. You need to believe them. And speaking about believing. And it's so funny, you know, we called the Ole Miss went over A&M last night. I'm going to get into that. We called Baylor over OU. People are like, oh, well, A&M, you know, if A&M loses the Ole Miss, it's really not an upset. Well, let me give you a hint.

If it has a plus in front of it, they're the underdog. The other team has a minus in front of them when the spread comes out. They're the favorite. Picked Ole Miss the underdog to win. And boy, did that. And it was very, very interesting the way they did it because they did it in a way that a lot of people didn't think they were going to do it. But the biggest thing to me was Ole Miss's ability to slow down the run enough to win.

Go back to Keys to Victory. It's easy. Just go back to Friday's show. They didn't have it. to shut it down totally. I mean, they shut them out in the first half. I mean, A chain went 12 for 1, 10 and two touchdowns and had his day, but it wasn't like they were getting ran all over. And it wasn't like they were getting ran over enough for them to say, you know what, screw it. We got to bring everybody up. If Calzada beats us with his arm, he beats us with his arm.

And I know Zach Calzada is a really good player. But just like a lot of quarterbacks around the country. If you don't have balance offensively, it's tough for you to move the ball. And if you think about it, they play Auburn the week before. I mean, score three points basically the whole game until the defense scores, and then

you get shut out in the first half. Teams are slowing down A&M's run game, and let's not act like Ole Miss is full of NFL defensive linemen. That front seven just played about as good as they possibly could play. And it wasn't like the Ole Miss offense was out here just killing it.

And we've said all along A&M has the second best front seven in the country. I mean, Matt Corral ended up 2437, 247 yards in a touchdown. Unbelievable eerily similar numbers to Hendon Hooker. Hendon Hooker was 2437 for 2434 yards a touchdown in a pick. So with exact same completion and a 10 percentage. three more yards, equal amount of touchdowns, and an interception. I just thought that was funny the way the numbers work out. But you look on the other side,

Zach Kalsata made the one mistake, the two mistakes that you couldn't make. We said Ole Miss doesn't win this game if they get at least two turnovers. Well, they finished that in the interception department. Calzata 24-42 to 37 and two interceptions, no touchdowns. They're looking for differences in games, turnovers is always something you should have at the forefront. But you look at A&M and you say A&M is a run-to-pass team, right? They're a run-to-pass team. We know Lane Kiffin, guy that can throw the ball around, but how important the run game is.

And when the run game's cooking, they're a problem. And they're downed a bunch of guys. But Jerry and Ely went absolutely nuts on Saturday. They gave him the ball 24 times. Hell, even the putter got a carry. And he put his head down, he got it on the fake. But Ely went 24 times for 152 yards. He averaged almost 6.5 yards a carry on 24 carries against an elite A&M front.

the Ole Miss offensive line played out of their minds. I mean, Parrish Jr. had nine carries, average 6.4. That was the most shocking point to me. We know A&M can be the bully in the yard, but Ole Miss said, no, we'll absorb that identity a little bit because it wasn't like the past game was killing it. Jacor Pearson was the lead receiver for Ole Miss at 70 yards. And Ole Miss did something that we challenged them at the beginning of the year that we didn't think they could do.

And I still don't think they can do consistently with that personnel. And that's win games in multiple ways. And there is nobody happier this AM than the Alabama football team. Ole Miss beats A&M, who had the tiebreaker over Bama. Auburn loses the Mississippi State, which believe me, I'm about to get into that. But what a huge win for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss. Two for two on the upset calls yesterday. Just a great weekend of football.

You know, scanning around the rest of the country as well, and I'm going to hop back in the southeastern conference. Here in a minute, you know, there's a couple games to me that, you know, at the end of the day, we're pretty intriguing. When you look around the top 25, you know, and I do want to say this before we get into it, before we get into it. It's laughable. you had UTSA in the top tier.

You watch Cincinnati versus U.S.F. Do you believe now? Do you believe now? But you still got guys out there saying, whoa, well, the SECs playing, you know, these down teams or these paid to play teams that aren't very good this late at the schedule. Well, they play an SEC schedule. I don't hear you complain it about any other leagues that do it. And in fact, why don't you just schedule USF?

They're as bad as any of them. Hell, that's the funny part. You talk about people scheduling teams that are bad. What about conferences that are littered with bad teams? But I digress. I do want to hit Wake Forest and NC State real quick, because that game, to me, was one that was always going to be fascinating. You knew the over was going to hit.

Wake holds on 45-42. And when I look at Sam Hartman, I look at this style of offense that Claussen runs, you know, kind of the delayed RPO, the RP slow, as I call it, where you'll see him sit there and kind of ride the running back. for a while and then pull it if you want. And it's not the normal tempo of that play. It's like delayed.

That's why I almost think it works so well because the timing of everything is so different than what you've seen. It just kind of, you know, puts a weird spin on what you're supposed to do. And it's one thing to mess with the scheme. It's another to mess with the timing. But Wake Forest again finds a way. And, you know, there was a touch, there was at least a touchdown scored by each team in every quarter of this game, which you know is going to be.

be fascinating. But Wake Forest is able to hang on. They have to win offensively. I mean, Ellison scored three touchdowns, you know, tough loss for NC State, who in my opinion, Dave Dorn has done a really good job up there. But Dave Clausen at Wake Forest, got them ranked 12. There's some movement in front of them, not that they're going to make the playoff, but they're going to finish really, really high up. They needed this one. They got Clemson looming. The ACC's kind of bowed out. To me, the Big 12 is bowed out, even though Oklahoma State has a chance. You look at in an Oklahoma losing, which, you know, you could say they still have a chance, but the committee had them ranked at eight. I don't see them, you know, I see them falling down a lot. I see them falling down a lot,

in my opinion. I think you guys would agree with it. But Mississippi State and Armored. And, you know, I'm going to try to somewhat be brief. What an embarrassing performance in the second half for Auburn. You have to take your hats off to Mike Leach, a guy we get on the show all the time and the Mississippi State football team for coming back. Opscored Auburn 40 to nothing in the second half. Was the officiating great? No. But the officiating doesn't give you 40 points.

The officiating doesn't shut you out. What Auburn did was they went in the half of 2810. So you know what? We just got to show up in the second half. You're not good enough. Your defensive coordinator is not good enough for that. Your players on both sides of the ball aren't elite enough for that. No team, including the Alabama's and the Georgia's and all these other teams,

want to go out there and just take a half off or can go out there and take a half off. But it sure is Helene Auburn with this roster. I can promise you that. Bo Nix looking like he's injured. Guy we have on the show all the time. Condolences to him. But what an absolute abject disaster by Auburn in the second half. Derek Mason, either you're scared to adjust or you don't know how to adjust.

But what happened in the second half was pure incompetence. You know what they call when you keep doing the same thing, expecting a different result? There's a word for that. What is that? Oh, it's insanity. It's insanity. You've seen Auburn be a really good four-down team, four-down defense. But they just wanted to rush three almost the whole game yesterday, even though they were getting picked apart.

And you got guys like Smoke Monday talking during the week, man, this air raid's going to show how good our secondary really is. You may want to delete that Instagram, man, because y'all got cooked like a Thanksgiving turkey. And well done. Very well done. But Mississippi State decided they were going to win the game. You could tell the energy difference and the adjustments that Mike Leach had made. The match in Auburn's offense in the second half, you know, couldn't piss a drop. that second half of an offense

looked like the whole game offense against A&M. You're not good enough to not go out there and just play as hard as you can. You're not good enough. You don't have good enough players. And Ryan Harsson needs time

to bring better players in, but it's probably going to be time he needs to bring some better coaches in, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Because if you're not smart enough to see that, I know football did it for a living. I'm smart enough to see it. Everybody else is smart enough to see it.

Hell, a lot of the fans are smart enough to see it. But you don't? This isn't Vanderbilt, Derek Mason, and you better figure it out. Are they going to hand you that pink slip and you go coach high school out on the West Coast? But that, wow, lack of adjustments? It's just, it's borderline incompetence or it's borderline arrogance.

I don't know which one it is, but both are equally horrifying. if you're a Auburn fan. 43 points. I mean, they scored 33 when you look in the second half, but it just amazed me the lack of adjustments. Yeah, Mississippi State outscored Auburn 33 to 6th in the second half at home. That's what happens when you take quarters and halves off. That's what happens when you think you're something that you're not.

You're not dominant. You don't have dominant personnel. You're not a big dog. You're just trying to hold on. So you should be playing your guts out. And that's not what you got in the second half. Mississippi State deserved to win that game. Better coach team.

Better players. Look to me. But Auburn took the second half off. And you deserve to lose. And you deserve to lose. Going for two in that situation, I don't know what Brian Harsom is doing. You know, typically you wait to go for two when you're down 16. you're down to eight, you score that touchdown, you go for two at the end.

I mean, Auburn was down. They scored it. It was 43 to 28. They were down. They scored to make it 43 to 34. And then instead of kicking an extra point to make it at eight point lead, they decided to go for two. Then it was a nine point lead. Game was over when you don't get the onside kick.

And I don't know what's going on with Anders Carlson. But man, he's missed more than pollsters in the last two elections. Paging Daniel. So a big win for Mississippi State, huge loss for Auburn. That knocks them out of contention. Just got one chance left to do anything and that's really beat Alabama. You got to go play a South Carolina team that now with Bo Nicks out, that looks like a lot more winnable game for South Carolina.

And South Carolina can make it two years in a row against Auburn. And if Auburn goes up there and tries to roll their helmet out again, Shane Beamer, they'll laugh them out of Columbia. They'll laugh at them. I'm just telling you, they will. Shane's got, that's the kind of mojo they got up there. They'll beat them and then laugh at them. So I'd better figure it out

because what you saw on the second half, that's not going to stand in Auburn. I can promise you that. But speaking about a stand, Arkansas, who! Gets the stand and kicks a field goal to win the game, beats LSU 16 to 13, had a minus two and a half.

Man, they squeaked it out. LSU came out. You know what, I do want to say this. We've talked about this a lot. You know, LSU and Edor Jaronna, they need to part ways. But LSU is out there playing harder than Auburn is.

That shows you something about those players. That shows you something. Even about that staff that's gone, I know it's house money, but the kids haven't given up. Guys haven't quit. And when you really dig down into this game and you look at it, this is an old-fashioned Arkansas-LSU fistfight now. Old-fashioned Arkansas LSU fist fight.

10-3 at half. Arkansas scores 10 in the third. KJ. Jefferson, 18 to 25, 142 in a touchdown. Not mind-boggling numbers. Garrett and S. Meyer got some scratch, 18 to 31, 179, one touchdown, and two interceptions from the young guy. But what surprised me was LSU had 100-yard rusher, and Arkansas didn't. The leading rusher for Arkansas was KJ. Jefferson.

He had 15 carries for 41 yards. Very surprising. Because I, in my opinion, and I felt Arkansas was going to win, but I thought they'd have some more success on the ground. I really did. I didn't know how LSU was going to be able to bounce back after that tough loss at Bama, kind of almost like the last hurrah. But Arkansas holds on. Congrats to LSU for the fight. They got another one against A&M. But a big win, big win for Arkansas on the road to keep the momentum going. that seven wins now improving their bull stock.

And when you look at it overall, and you look at this Arkansas team, all they need to do is just keep building confidence with Sam Pittman, because the recruiting's happening. The recruiting's happening. But we talk about Arkansas being down. They're seven and three. They got a better record than Auburn.

Much better record than Auburn. So, you know, people saying, oh, well, Sam Pittman's out of it. He's down and out, this, that, and the other. No, San Pittman's right on schedule. They had some hiccups in the middle of the season. Happens. Speaking about happening, Michigan, huge win on the road against Penn State.

Massive win on the road against Penn State. Jim Harbaugh, we know he struggled in November. He needed this one about as bad as anybody need any of, talking about wins. McNamara went 19 for 29, 217, and 3 touchdowns. The kid continues to improve. And Sean Clifford wasn't terrible. I mean, he's 23 of 43. Not a great percentage.

There's 205 and a touchdown. But this was an old-fashioned Big Ten backyard fistfight. And really, the scoring, when you look, I mean, you had three points total in the first quarter, 10 in the second, seven in the third, and then an explosion of 18 in the fourth. Penn State scored that touchdown on fourth and goal, then got the two-point conversion, but Michigan answered. And Haskins totes the potato of 31 times for a buck 56, huge for them. nine and one, keeping themselves alive in the playoff hunt, and they're going to have their shot with an Ohio State team, with an Ohio State team that smashed Purdue at home. Knock the spoiler makers off. That one is setting up to be big time.

Michigan State handled business at home against Maryland. I still think it's laughable at best how you can put Oregon in front of Ohio State due to head-to-head tie-breaking wins and then not put Michigan State in front. front of Michigan, but it looks like it's going to work itself out. But both Michigan State, or all three of Michigan State, Michigan and Ohio State won this weekend. So the matchups, the Goliath matchups that we're going to get in the next two weeks, we're going to find out in the Big Ten. We get to find out and I cannot wait to see it. Cannot wait to see it. The cannibalism typically happens toward the end. But again, I've been very hard on Jim Harbaugh, continue to be until he does something worthwhile that matters that leaves a ring on your finger,

not necessarily national championship. Conference championship, division championship, something, something. But they needed this one. And if McNamara can keep throwing the ball that well, he didn't have to be, this doesn't have to be the high-flying, you know, Bartum and Bailey circus. Being efficient, 19 to 29, 223 touchdowns, 82. 82.3 touchdowns, 82.3 QBR. that's what Michigan needs because Michigan can run the ball. They are a run to pass offense, but McNamara is starting to get pretty comfortable. Starting to get pretty comfortable. And all they need is that element to be decent.

All they need is that element to be enough where defenses have to respect it. And it's looking like McNamara is getting there. And you didn't see the same mistakes made last week. Didn't see a lot of J.J. McCarthy, did you? No, you didn't. at least hardball's hardball's learning hell maybe he listens to the show maybe cone slipped a text message in there

during the week congratulations to Michigan all right let's get in the plane and go out to the west coast check on Utah beating Arizona 38 to 29 and early Arizona's leading that game I'm sitting there looking at it I'm sitting there watching it and it kind of had that upset feel early Like you really thought, you know, for a second there, because you want to talk about an upset.

No, no, we can talk. We can talk about upsets. That one would be a shocker, an absolute shocker. But, you know, when you do look at this game and you look at Utah, because this match up with Oregon that they have coming up is massive. It's massive. You know, Oregon is a team that they're going to keep at three until they stumble. I really believe that. But Utah has the capability.

they've been playing a lot better. They're seven and three. But Arizona came out, 14-7 in the first quarter. Looked very competent to me. Utah ends up winning the game, which they had to in surviving, but they end up winning by nine. And you look at the numbers, it's pretty interesting here. Pretty interesting when you really check it out from the top to the bottom

because, again, Arizona, one in nine, one and six in the conference. They did get that win. Plummer went 19 to 34, 223 in a Tud, rising with 19 to 30, 2994 and two touchdowns. So, you know, the numbers weren't really that much different at the quarterback position. The difference was rushing. You know, Pledgeer went 25 for 120 and 2 touchdowns. Leading Russia for Arizona was the quarterback with 50.

Arizona just ran out of gas. They ran out of gas. But you can see even in the loss that there's somewhat moving in the right direction. But I've got to talk about this U.S.S. up game. I've got to talk about the obvious. If you watched how bad USF is, especially on defense, the fact this game was close for a long time, and when I say close that USF was kind of knocking on the door, they made it, you know, 38, 28, 28, were coming back, they had that game pressure on Cincinnati.

You cannot tell me that Cincinnati, that played just okay for the fourth or fifth straight week is the top four team. It's just, we know the eye test is important. And it works here. You can tell. It's easy. And I'm going to talk about it again this week. And now you've got an SMU team, an SMU team that just blew the doors off of UCF at home, had a minus seven and a half, by the way. Coming into your place, and if they play like they played against USF, and if they played like they played against Tulane, and if they played like they played against Tulane, and if they played like they played against Tulsa, SMU will beat them by 20.

They'll beat them by 20. So just keep your eye on that Cincinnati SMU game this weekend coming up. I believe it's this weekend. Keep your eye on that one. Probably going to be upset alert, at least coming from the J-Boy show. But speaking of upset alert, Sanford versus Florida. Woo! 70 to 52.

Let me say that again. This was football. Sanford didn't just go, you know, play Florida in basketball, down at Florida and lose by 18. This was football. the halftime score was 42 to 35. 42 to 35. This Florida defense, and you guys are dancing in the locker room,

and I'm all for the players enjoying wins. It's hard to win. I get it. But where's the standard? Where is the standard? You think Georgia's going nuts after, after, Florida went more nuts after beating Sanford than Georgia did. after beating Tennessee on the road.

If that doesn't tell you the two mindsets and the two places where those programs sit better than anything, then I don't know. Dan Mullins dancing in the middle? You're about to be dancing your way out the door. I mean, Emery Jones went 28 to 34 for 464 and 6 touchdowns. That's great. Had a QBR rating of 96. But Welch, the Juice Man, went 33 of 52 for 400 yards, three touchdowns at interception.

And then on the ground, it had 6.000. 16 characters, 65 yards, and two touchdowns. But it was the big plays, and it was the lack of effort from Florida. It looked like Sanford just had faster players than they did, and they don't. They have players that tried to run faster, and they did. The tackling was atrocious. Sanford scored 52 points and didn't score in the third quarter. That's amazing.

That's amazing. against Florida. And you think Todd Grampson may have been sitting back there? Maybe drinking a bourbon. Maybe sipping on a cold soda. Seeing, man, you miss me yet? I have swore of Van say, no. But look, I think there's a really good chance.

Dan Mullins not coming back. I think there's a really good chance that Dan Mullin's going to stay in the state of Florida. And what does that mean? Probably go be the OC for the Jacksonville Jaguars. and his old buddy Urban Meyer, who he had teamed up with in the college game. And it'd be a great fit. I think it'd be a smart move. But this, the, the Dan Mullen experiment,

it looks like it's ending at Florida. And the Florida fans are beyond pissed. It's almost where you get to a point where you're not even mad anymore. You're just disappointed. It's like the worst part when your parents, you say, listen, I'm not mad at you. I'm just disappointed. And like, that one hit different.

I can't really scream at me. Yell at me. Tell me how dumb I am. Don't live me and say, oh, well, we expected it because that's just what we expect from you or we're disappointed in you legitimately. Man, it's a tough spot to be in. That's where Ford is right now. That's where they are.

Florida State just beat Miami. Mike Norvell, after dropping the game to the Mighty Jacksonville State Gamecocks earlier in the year on what is the one of the most interesting plays I've ever seen in my life, they got a little moe right now. But Florida's not worried about Florida State. They're looking across the Eastern Division saying, man, Tennessee's got momentum. Georgia, obviously,

with what Kirby's doing. South Carolina, Shane Beamer and them, even though a bad loss, in my opinion, to Missouri, I think that's a game that Shane Bieber knows they should have won. I'm not going to dive too deep in the waters on that. But Florida is going the wrong way in what should be, in what should be a booming market right now.

They just won the East last year. I know they lost a lot, but this team has pulled a post Malone, and they're just falling apart. 70 to 52. And there was not a basketball that was tripled. It was a football that was thrown and ran. Unbelievable score. Unbelievable score. Pitt holds on Thursday against UNC.

Now, if that was just to be a dick, then I would be upset too. I would be upset too. But those are tiebreaker rules that it comes down to. And to me, it comes down to the old adage. You can't be mad that I'm beating you. It's not like it was 60 to nothing and Dave Irana threw a Hail Mary at the end of the game. They need those tiebreaker points. They need them.

That's an actual real thing. And to me, it was very un-Lincoln-like, and I got a lot of respect for Lincoln Riley. You know, he doesn't make a ton of news all the time. He's really just a grinder. But, man, why are you complaining? Like, you got beat. Don't add, don't compound the problem. Deep down, you know what he was doing.

This wasn't, it's not like it made it a 30-point win. It made it a 13-point win. Well, you think he's going to go in there to recruits and be like, hey, I knew you weren't going to come here if we beat Oklahoma by 10, but we beat him by 13, thanks to the that field goal. No. He did it for a reason. Dave Miranda is not a flash guy. He's not a, I'm going to rub it in your face guy.

You wouldn't know Dave Miranda was there if they didn't show him on TV. You wouldn't know because they're not like, hey, wait a minute. Dave Miranda's going nuts on the sidelines over here. That never happens, almost. Dave Miranda is pretty calm, cool, and collective. There's a methodology for everything that he does. And I'm going to tell you what. Lincoln, whether it's LSU or you bring Oklahoma over here, you can't come over here crying all the time, man.

Like that's not going to work. Texas tried to do it with the horns down. And believe me, I'm about to get into Texas. Don't worry, you guys. But that's not Lincoln Riley. To me, that was outside of who Lincoln Riley is. That's why I don't give him much credence. I don't.

It's outside of who Lincoln Riley is, in my opinion. And I think he probably regretted saying stuff after he did. But, but Kansas beats Texas. Texas in football. I'm going to say that again. I'm going to say it again just in case maybe, you know, you just woke up from a coma or something, or you've been, you know, off planet and you haven't found out, you know, what's been going on. Kansas beat Texas in football, 57 to 56 in overtime.

This is the worst loss and worst loss in my opinion of the year by a powerful. five legitimate Blue Blood football team. And I mean that. I mean that. And the funny part is, Kansas was a Caleb Williams magical play away from beating Oklahoma and Texas. Coach Leopold came over from Buffalo. Does he have the magic? We'll see. But man, if you're Texas, there's no amount of yelling and look i was all four but i'm all four coaches holding guys accountable i don't think there's anything wrong with what bo david said but this is this is the bottom floor texas this is the bottom this has to be as bad as it gets so there's nowhere else to go but up you lose to kansas i mean the danos kid went 21 of 30 for two oh two and three and kacey thompson

Bless him, went 30 of 43 for 360, six touchdowns and a pick. But what's nuts is the rushing yards Texas gave up. Neil 24 for 143 and three touchdowns. Daniels 11 for 45 and a touchdown. That's the quarterback. Texas is leading rush around 70 yards. This is as bad as it gets. And I think Sark's going to be fine.

But this one's inexcusable. This isn't one where you're like, well, it's our first year. No. No. you're in game 10. You know your personnel. And while it may not be, they may not be world beaters across the board,

they're a whole hell of a lot better than whatever the Jayhawks are rolling out there. But Texas is mental. You know, Marshawn Lynch said it best. Take care of your mental and your chicken. Well, Texas has not taken care of their mental and they basically lost to a one-win chicken in the Kansas Jayhawk,

which that thing looks like a chicken to me. You know, I know what a Jayhawk is. I know it's a bird, but it looks like a big chicken to me. So Texas neither took care of their mental nor their chicken. But one team to me that's starting to get, it's really playing about as good as they can play with who they have is Wisconsin. I know Northwestern's not a great football team.

Wisconsin covers once again. Shout out Baby Cone, had a minus 23 and a half. They walk away with the dub 35 to 7. Teams just playing good ball. They found their actual. identity, which it seems to be always Wisconsin's identity. And that's just running right at you with huge guys. Runner right at you with huge guys.

And at the end of the day, it works for them. It works for them. But when you look at the playoff race where we stand right now, and we know the Big Ten, there's going to be some cannibalism that happens for the year with Ohio State playing, Michigan State and Michigan. So we're going to find out. Alabama played New Mexico State destroyed them but the under did hit

the under did hit pretty excited about that but when you look at really who can challenge Georgia you know we can talk about Vama Ohio State to me is the team out of the big the only team out of the Big Ten that can

there's the only team out of the Big Ten that can because they have the speed to do it I don't think Michigan does I don't think Michigan State does not know Kenneth Walker is a beast, but Georgia will eat Kenneth Walker alive. Jordan Davis will have a stake with a side of Kenneth Walker. So if we're looking at a team that could knock off Georgia, because Georgia is obviously, obviously the number one team in the country. Could Ohio State?

Possibly. I don't think Oregon could. But this is going to go back to what it's gone back to seemingly year after year after year. It's going to be Georgia in Bama, it seems. if Bama can win the SEC championship game. Because if you look toward the future and you say, okay, are we going to argue two lost Bama? Because if we started getting to teams with two losses and argue that,

they're putting Sabin in. I promise you they will. I promise you they'll put Sabin in it. But if Oregon can finish the season with one loss, and Ohio State finishes the season with one loss, now it gets really interesting. But that's why that Oklahoma loss is huge. And Notre Dame, as much as it kills me to say it,

as much as it kills me to say it, is just sitting back in the wings and they didn't even have to see Brendan Armstrong for Virginia and it's the whole reason why I picked them picked Virginia. Brennan Armstrong doesn't blow. Notre Dame's,

the way it's looking to me, Notre Dame's looking like they're about to sneak their way in again and waste all over times. We got catfished again. Damn. The most ironical thing of all time. Notre Dame had the most famous catfish

of all time in Manti-Tayo, but yet they are the biggest catfish of all time to everybody in college football. Because if they get in it four, Georgia will pick up Jack Cone and throw him out the club. They will. They just will. It's science. Follow the science.

So I'm very interested to see how this four spot develops. You look at Cincinnati. I'm telling you guys right now, listen to my voice. You can play this back in my face if it doesn't happen. Cincinnati will lose a game before the playoff. It's going to happen. could happen against SMU, could happen at ECU, could happen against Houston in the American championship game.
