Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it just happened.
Breaking news, John Jones has retired from the UFC.
This is just moments after UFC Baku, a card that was pretty interesting,
had some good scraps, and in the main event,
I was, once again, Wade cursed completely wrong about Jamal Hill
doing anything to change what's got him into trouble in his last couple of fights.
And instead, Khalil Roundtree being the samurai that he is,
in his custom UFC shorts getting the victory of piecing up, Jamal.
And that's something I probably should have made a dedicated video about on this channel.
But right now we have more pressing matters, no offense to either of those fighters.
John Jones has now been confirmed to have retired from Dana White himself
in the post-fight press conference of UFC Baku.
This is massive news for the UFC. It's massive news going forward.
And I don't hate to say it, actually.
I actually love to say it.
Everybody on MMA YouTube was right.
Everybody that said that John Jones was never going to fight Tom Aspinall was right.
Everyone that said that John Jones was ducking Tom Aspinall was right and it just got confirmed.
The breakdown.
John Jones called us last night and retired.
John Jones was officially retired.
Tom Aspinall is the heavyweight champion of the UFC.
Bang!
All right, yeah, I'm excited.
Tom Aspinall is finally what, in my opinion, he always was when he won the belt and defended the interim belt.
he is now the undisputed heavyweight champion of the UFC.
And yes, this is bittersweet because I think everybody wanted to see John Jones fight Tom Asmanall
for whatever reasons you had.
If you thought that John was over the hill, if you thought Tom deserved that right to win the belt
from the man that had it before him, all of that is valid.
And I think that it should have happened that way.
But we don't live in a perfect world.
And certainly in the UFC, not a perfect company.
But I guess they tried to exhaust every option with John.
I don't know.
trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is long past overdue, but finally, the rock voice,
finally we get the desired result, even though again, it's not the way anyone wanted it, it just needed to happen.
They had waited for John to make a decision. Apparently, from Ariel Hawani, they had offered John
a ton of money, and he still turned that down, and it was just one of these things where they were not going to make a deal.
That's what I assume happened here. They just could not get John to say yes.
and say there, John called him and retired last night. And it is a little bit of an odd situation
because we did see John Jones just on the Nelk Boys podcast and having his happy dads. And as soon as
he was asked a question, par for the course about Tom Aspinall, he dipset it out of the podcast.
They didn't want any part of it. But I think it's also unfortunate that the UFC did not step out
and make this decision. They had to have John Jones come to them and offer the belt of. That to me is
bizarre. And again, it shows me that the UFC was not inclined to strip John, that they weren't going to
unless he gave up the belt. And why was that what it took? Why was it John giving the belt up to the
UFC? Again, the company that owns the product that owns the belt for them to say, this is not
going to work. We are killing our own heavyweight division in lieu of potentially, hopefully getting
John to come back, however long that takes. However long we have to put Tom Aspinall on the
however long we have to have him in an interim spot defending an interim belt while the heavyweight champion is healthy and just doesn't want to fight. And again, some people will say, well, he never beat John Jones for it, but that's not his fault. I mean, Tom Aspinall did everything he could to fight John Jones. Look at this however you want, but the point remains. John can still be one of, if not the greatest to have ever fought in MMA, but he ducked Tom Aspinall. And it's clear now. And there's no way to really excuse it. I mean,
I mean, yeah, you can say John didn't feel like Tom was valued enough to fight him,
but he still ducked Tom Aspinall.
He still didn't want any part of the Tom Aspinall fight.
And I even hesitated for a long time to say,
oh, John's not scared, none of that.
And John's probably not petrified,
but he is understanding of one thing that Tom Aspinall
throws a wrench into the goat talks if he fights him
because Tom Aspinall presents more of a danger to John Jones
than T. Be Miochich did.
And that is the only reason John Jones retired
because Tom Aspinall was too dangerous to fight.
Point blank period, that was it.
He was too dangerous for John to take the risk.
And that's a duck, folks.
Whether you want to believe that or not,
or whether you want to consider John the greatest of all time
or one of the greatest of all time,
doesn't really matter.
Because I do that.
I think John is the greatest fighter
I have ever seen with my own two eyes.
But he ducked Tom Aspinall,
and I'll give you the reasons
for it. Number one, you can't convince me that John didn't have the motivation to fight because a
couple of days ago on Twitter, he was calling out Francis Ngano, because Francis was rumored to come
back. Number two, John got all the money he wanted out of this, or at least he was supposed to.
Found a way to convince the UFC to give him the number he was asking for, and he still said no.
That tells you all you need to know about what John thought about this fight. He wanted no part of it,
point blank period and you can't get around that fact that'll stick on his legacy right not fighting
tom and not doing the same thing other fighters in the past have done when the newest young challenger
comes up to fight them for their belt not saying john ever had to do that but he also had his cake
and ate it too because he didn't fight tom and also held on to the belt for as long as
and almost became the longest reigning heavyweight champion in UFC history without fighting more than twice.
Now again, it is surreal because we are seeing one of the greatest ever, if not the greatest ever, retire.
In a moment's notice, here, today, gone tomorrow.
No big announcement.
No press conference just done.
While that stain on his legacy will come from the Tom Aspinall fight and potentially even, you know,
the Francis and Gano fight when Francis was a part of the UFC that never happened,
he does have 14 years of being elite his 14 15 16 title fights uh 12 title defenses john beat the best of
the era before him the best of the era he was in and the next era that came through beat the generation
before him essentially the veterans and the top level of the generation that had already
solidified themselves as he was coming into mma then he beat his generation of fighters
you know, the Maricio Shogun,
Huas, and the Rashad Evans and the rampages,
and all those guys.
And then he beat his era of fighters, right?
The D.C., the Gustafsons,
D.T.or Belfors, the Lyoto Machitas.
Then he beat the next generation.
However you feel about the Dominic Reyes fight,
which I think was a fight he probably should have lost,
beat Anthony Smith. I know that's not a great win on paper now,
beat Tiago Santos, beat that next generation,
then move to heavy.
beat the number one guy there at the time. I know Francis wasn't there and John probably should have
fought Francis. It's another stain that will always say, damn, wish we would have got that fight. And again,
I think we didn't because of John Jones. But then he goes and beats Cyril Gahn fairly easily,
beats Steve A. Meotich, which was way over the hill. I understand it wasn't a steep A that was
considered one of the greatest heavyweights ever. But still beat him fairly easily. And John has racked up two
belts in two different division still think he's one of the greatest to ever do it. So yeah,
it's a bummer that we didn't get that final punctuation mark on John's career. Like, yeah, him going out
on top and really leaving no doubt that he's the greatest ever. If he would have beat Tom Aspinall,
there would have been no doubt. There would have been nobody in this comment section telling me
I'm an idiot because I'd said John Jones is the greatest. And I think that is a part of the reason
that he won't be looked at that way is because we didn't get that final point, whether it
good or bad, we didn't get that go out on your shield warrior style of ending for John Jones'
career. And that's not necessarily a problem, but it kind of is when you drag out an entire
division for a year plus just for the UFC to be at your beck and call. And then eventually you
do the thing that John Jones, of course, does in this situation and control the narrative
and control how this whole thing goes by saying, well, I just, I don't want to fight for it.
for the belt. Tom is not worth me fighting him. So here, go have the belt. And I'm sure you're
going to see John Jones on Twitter saying in the next couple of weeks or months, he can have the
belt, but he never wanted off me. That kind of mentality, I'm sure, is coming down the line.
And yeah, that's just what I see happening, John trolling on Twitter for the next couple of months.
But this is a massive moment. John Jones was a massive part of MMA for the last 15 years.
And whether you want to believe this or not, and I'm glad that John's given the belt to
I'm glad if he's going to ride off into the sunset that he's not taking the belt with him.
Whether you want to believe this or not, he is one of the last major names in the sport right,
at least down American soil.
And that may be a problem for the UFC because we've all talked about how they are having trouble creating stars,
having trouble finding that next big superstar to come out of the octagon.
And maybe it'll be Ilya Taboria or maybe it'll be Islam Makachiv.
And maybe it'll be somebody else, Patty the Batty, Top.
Aspinall, who know, but we do know that John, even though he wasn't a massive paper review draw,
he was a star. And again, he was the greatest, in my opinion, or one of the greatest that's ever
been in the octagon. So whatever you think about him, whether you like him or not as a fighter,
whether you like him or not as a person, all that aside, this will be a massive hit for the
heavyweight division that John is not fighting Tom Aspinall. But again, it's bittersweet because
at least if you're going to take that hit, John is giving the belt up and not just squatting
and Tom Aspinall as the rightful champion now, and the rest of the division can move on.
And maybe Tom becomes a big superstar, and John says, you know what?
It's time to come back.
But I doubt that happens.
If he's not going to fight him now, I don't see why John would take another year off or another two years off,
then come back and try to fight him again.
But who knows.
Breaking news, though, I wanted to get this to you guys as soon as it happened.
Just now dropped.
John Jones is retiring from the sport of MMA and from the UFC.
It's massive news whether you like it or not
One of the greatest of all time is done
All right folks today we are watching the press conference from Canelo Crawford
If you guys didn't see it this morning from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Canello versus Crawford's first press conference went live
One of the more interesting things about this was it was a collaboration effort
Look at this the WWE streamed it the UFC streamed it
The Zone streamed it the ring magazine streamed it
Turkey Alice Shake streamed it.
It was everywhere.
This was insane.
And this truly shows you like the flex that Turkey and TKO boxing, or I guess it's going to be called Zufa boxing, are putting out into the boxing world right now.
For decades now, boxing's most formidable opponent has been, well, boxing.
Not the fighters, but the business.
Negotiations that prove treacherous.
The theory broken and fragmented.
You can't make the fight.
that everybody wants us.
Oh, see what I'm saying?
They're coming out swinging right away, dude.
We want to make sure you guys get the fights you want to see,
and it ain't been happening for the last however long.
Terrence Burr!
Okay, Todd.
Saoule Canelo,
Navarra.
His Excellency, Turkey, Al Al-L Sheikh.
I don't know why they put me here.
I want to be in the side of Crawford.
Dismillah.
Dang!
I know he kind of.
He kind of always says who he wants to win, but he's just coming out right in Canelo's face and be like,
yo, I don't know why they put me on this table. I want to be over there. Dang. Okay, so Turkey
rolling with Bud, okay? There were some negotiations between Turkey and Canello for a while. And even
before that, there were back and forced between the two of them. Maybe Turkey's like, yeah, I still
ain't over that. I'm bringing this man to beat you. So if Turkey rolls with Crawford, Dana White,
big Canello fan. And by the way, where is Dana? Where is Dana white? We need that, we need that
Dana introduction that Dana gave Connor.
He needs to get up at that podium and go fucking crazy, dude.
I hate Tom and Jerry's kinds of boxing.
I am sure they will deliver for me,
smashing face and blood.
And this is the boxing.
Oh shit.
No Tom and Jerry.
I want you smashing face and give me blood.
Let's go. Turkey's tired of the Tom and Jerry.
He's tired of the running.
And again, people had an issue.
with this because, you know, all Turkey's never fought, whatever.
He is simply saying under his platform, under Riyadh season, under the Ring magazine,
he doesn't like seeing those fights.
So he is going to put on fights where he is essentially ensuring that that's not going to be the case.
I don't want to force to be having ring 12 by 12 or something like this to have something
like this big fight.
If you don't stop playing around, I'm going to make the ring a 12 by 12, dude.
He will be boxing in an actual box.
Can you imagine though?
Bro, you can't even breathe in there.
This is it.
Welcome to your world title fight.
Asa-salam ala-a-uh-Barakato.
Next time I want the question in English, please.
And start with international media, please.
Turkey is not playing around, dude.
He is out here just laying down the law.
Question for His Excellency.
You said many times now that you don't want any more of these Tom and Jerry fights.
where one fighter is chasing the other one?
Is that cop?
What is your plan to kind of stop these fights?
We will not have him anymore.
This is the first thing.
The second, we will have in this fight and the next fight, bonus for K.O.
This fight and the next fight bonus for KEO.
So I assume he means, I'm not really sure.
This fight in the next one, the next Canelo fight?
This is a little bit outside of the realm of normal boxing procedure.
But if you come from the MMA community, you know this is a pretty common thing.
You're starting to see a little bit of the Dana White influence, right?
That's got to be a Dana idea.
But I'm going to be honest, between Canello and Crawford,
they're probably already making a ridiculous amount of money.
So this has to be maybe more for the undercard.
But again, it obviously could qualify for Canello and Crawford,
but I doubt they care about a CO bonus when they're probably making more money than they ever have.
Social media speculation will say about when this fight is going to take place.
Can you be Pacific?
Yeah, we saw Oscar Dale Hoyer.
Can you be Pacific?
I love H.E., man.
Hey, listen, H.E., you need someone to be Pacific.
I'm on that Pacific time all the time, you feel me?
Yeah, we saw Oscar Dale Hoyer trying to say that the fight was going to take place maybe in the daytime.
Oh, okay.
This is what I want from you to say his name.
Yeah, I decide with Dana White to have a breakfast in MGM at 10 a.m., inshalla.
Then we will go to the arena to have the fights quick.
and after that we will go dinner to Carpon
and in the night we will watch
conjourning because it will launch in September
Oscar Deloia waste my time with this question
There's a lot to go through here
Cop asked the question about what Oscar El Jolla said
Let's see if I can pull it up
Why is it that Canelo has to fight during the day
on Mexican Independence weekend
and UFC with a roster of names
I've never heard of is going on prime time
He's fighting in Riyadh, and now he's fighting during the day on the biggest weekend in boxing.
This is what A.C. was upset about.
Okay, so this is what Oscar was referring to.
He was trying to leak the news that this fight would be during the day.
And then Turkey essentially is trolling Oscar saying, like, yeah, me and Dana are going to have breakfast at 10 a.m.
At the MGM, then go and have the fights, then wrap him up real quick so he can go.
I think he said watch a movie later.
I don't know.
He said something about the conjuring.
I'm not exactly sure.
But he's essentially trolling.
Of course, this is in the peak. This is the boxing, the sport number one in the world.
This is Canello and Crawford. So there you go.
He said this is the peak. Of course this is in the peak.
I need to mention why we choose Netflix. Netflix is the big platform.
Second, if you ask about the numbers of the subscriber and the baby review,
oh, let's see the record. In that time in 2015, 2013, the internet and the piracy was not like now.
Now is the best options to go with the big platform
And I think this fight will have the big record around the world
And we will show the world what is real boxing
Especially in Netflix, we will show them what is the real boxing
Oh, okay
Taking shots once again
We'll show Netflix and the world what a real fight is
The only other fight that's ever been on Netflix
the first fight ever on Netflix, take Paul Mike Tyson.
He also said something there.
It's a losing battle to try to continue to put on pay-per-view events
when kids at the age of 13 understand the Internet better
than some of the companies trying to put them behind a pay-per-view wall.
You're going to start seeing more and more,
and it should have, honestly, it probably should already happen by now,
but you're going to start seeing more and more streaming service boxing promotions,
matches, companies, and less and less pay-per-view.
And make no mistake about it, Turkey, Dana,
they want to beat this number.
They want to beat 108 million live viewers globally and 65 million concurrent.
They want to do it.
Thank you so much.
And I will make the legend continue.
Thank you.
All right, Turkey's out.
Hey, what the hell?
True, Jordi.
Canello, welcome back to Riyadh.
Of course, the last time we saw you here fighting under the here in the kingdom under the Riyadh banner,
you fought William Skull.
What were your impressions of that fight night and that.
fight itself. You mean William is cool? Yes. That fight, the whole event. You think that was a fight,
no. That's a deception for me because, you know, I come to fight, but you need to have both
fighters think the same, right? English speaking, Canelo is going levels up in his game, dude. The
hooked on phonics is working. This man using words like deception. It's over, dude. You heard
his excellency saying no more Tom and Jerry, no more running, but you're moving up two weight
classes. It's not going to be smart for you to stand there and hammer it out with this guy.
So how do you kind of balance that, not running, but being elusive in fighting Canella?
However, I got to fight. I'm going to win. Simple as that. I'm not going to let somebody else
force me or tell me how to fight when I've been fighting my whole life. I won't be running.
You know, I could tell you that. But I will be, you know,
doing a lot of touching.
Hey, yo!
No, I'm playing.
No, it's a decent political answer.
He's essentially saying, listen, no one can tell me how to fight,
but you're not going to see me run.
He's like, that's not something I do.
I'm going to fight the way I want to fight,
but I'm going to be in there putting hands on it.
He said he's good, but he's no Canelo.
What can you do that Terrence cannot do?
No, don't give me wrong.
He's a great fighter, like I say, he's no Canelo.
He's good, but he's no Canello.
Dang, that kind of hits.
They only focus on my power, but I have more than that.
This fight is going to be one of my best fights in my history, in my record.
And I'm very excited.
I'm very excited, motivate, because this is all about, this is all about,
I want to make history, and I'm very excited for this fight.
He said people think I just got power now, and that's all that's going to be the difference,
but I'm going to show all the aspects of my game.
I hope so, because it's not that people think that Canello just.
has power. He has told people for the latter part of the last three years that the priority in
his game has been his power. He's been flat-footed, standing in front of guys walking him down
and throwing big-time power. He hasn't been setting up shots as well. He hasn't been moving
his feet as much. He hasn't been doing much on the catching counters as he usually does. I want to see
every aspect of the Canelo game. He's not going to beat me. Don't worry about it. He's not going
with me. Don't worry about it. I think this fight is going to be in the books of the history of boxing
for sure. That's for sure. For sure, them bells coming with me. They're coming home with me. I'm telling you
right now. You can see it, but you're going to be, it's going to be difficult. You take it to you.
I'm taking them. And ain't nothing you're going to be able to do it about it come fight.
And I know Turkey's injured. Okay, bud. Yeah. This is what I was talking about. Let's get some
intensity in here. I know Turkey's in your corner. I promise. But look, look, it's going to be very difficult.
He's going to be so mad that day. Believe me. I know Turkey's in your corner, but he's going to be
mad that day. Okay, Canello. Canelo using Turkey's own words against him. Look at him. Like,
yeah, I know he's in your corner. I get it. He brought you up here to beat me, take my belts. I get it.
But both of y'all about to be mad. Yeah, this is what we wanted. Now here comes Dana White.
Dang!
That's what we need, dude.
I see you.
You see I'm different.
I see you too.
You see I'm different than all the other ones.
I see you.
You don't know different.
You're nothing different.
I'm different.
Nothing different.
I'm different.
We'll see.
You're going to see.
We'll see.
We'll see.
We'll see.
You know what is interesting about this whole thing is that Canello looks at Bud Crawford like you've never made this weight.
You've never jumped weight classes like this.
And I have.
Both guys are acting as though they have something up their sleeve that neither guy has seen before ready for.
Some people said he should have done a better job cutting the ring off.
It was the fewest punches ever landed.
Did you see it that way?
Damn, Todd.
I'm not here to talk about his past fights.
I'm here to talk about his present fight, and that's him versus me.
And that's what I'm here to talk about.
Me versus him, not him versus any other his previous opponents.
Do you expect him to run like a lot of people?
I have not.
You don't think so?
I have not.
I have not because I think people deserve a good.
good fight. Or is anybody like Todd is acting like people are saying Terrence Crawford's going to run
from Canello. Who has said that? This fight is in Las Vegas. Obviously there's going to be a huge
Mexican crowd there for him. How confident are you that the judges will give you a fair shake
after the end of the 12 rounds? Listen, I can't focus on the judges. I just got to focus on.
How sad is that that that's a question in this sport? How fucking sad is that, that we even have that
in our minds when it comes to a fight? Controlling what I can control.
inside the ring and that's, you know, going out there and winning the fight decisively.
You're bulked up now, you're bigger than ever.
Do you feel stronger? Do you feel like you can knock Canelo out?
Man, listen, like I said before, any fighter can be knocked out.
Canelo got a granite chin.
He's tough, he's durable.
You know, we've seen him hurt a couple of times, but not to the point where, you know, it's not respected.
But given the right circumstances, anybody can get knocked out.
Who would you say is the toughest opponent you've ever faced?
And where would you rank Terrence?
No, he's one of the tough fighters I'm going to face in my career for sure.
He's a great fighter.
I have many, many great fights in my career.
Toughest fighter that Canello ever faced was Floyd Mayweather.
If you're talking about toughness, that's a different thing.
But the toughest fight he's ever had is Floyd.
Bivol's second and Triple G.
Honestly, you could put Triple G and Bivel right on the same platform.
But Floyd, it was domination.
What he did to Edgar Berlanga, Floyd did to him.
And Terrence, the same question for you.
I guess a lot of people will be showing up from Omaha in Las Vegas for that weekend.
What's your message to your fans do you take on the biggest challenge of your career?
Listen, I just tell them, you know what I mean?
Suit up.
We're about to bring some more jewelry home, you know, and it's going to be an exciting day for boxing.
History will be will be made.
Terrence Crawford will be.
first male boxer three-weight undisputed champion of the world.
That's kind of getting slept on in this whole thing is that Bud has a chance to be three-weight
undisputed champion. That's crazy. Now you understand why I wanted to jump. I mean, granted,
it's also Canello, it's also the money, but the accolade of being a three-division in the
male scene, yes. Three-division world champion is none. And this is what it's all about,
ladies and gentlemen. This is what they are... It looks like a deadlifting belt, son.
belt that Canello has over there we spent a hundred thousand pounds for this
belt we up the ante wait the belt that's on Canelo's table was a hundred
thousand pounds that's the one they gave him after the skull fight right okay
so they took that one and now they made even a new one as well to a hundred and
forty thousand pounds this is by oh my god a hundred and forty thousand pounds how
much is that in usd a hundred and eighty eight thousand dollars you know the ring magazine out here
flexing canelo alvarez terence bud crawford are the two very best fighters of this era
but there can only be one and only one of them is going home with this belt
saturday night september 13th in los vegas watch it live on netflix i thank everyone for coming
out see you in los Vegas on the law
I saw this on Twitter
Canello walking a little past even here to get to Crawford
He didn't set up in the middle here
He walked a little bit past even to get to him
Some intensity
What we like to see
Canello does look you know a little thicker
A little thicker traps a little bigger
You know I'm saying arms look a little bigger
Okay so maybe maybe canello is a little bit bigger
Once in a lifetime ladies and gentlemen
Give it up for Terrence butt Crawford
And Canello Alvarez.
We'll see you Sunday.
There it is.
The first press conference in the books.
Listen, Turkey Alasjay came out right away, set the tone and said, listen, no more Tom and Jerry
fights.
We want to make these big fights again, talking about this one and potentially in the future
on Netflix.
Put the message out there that he wants us to be the showing two Netflix in the world of
real boxing on Netflix.
Obviously taking a shot at Jake Paul, took a shot at Oscar de Aloha.
And I even said, I'm on Team Bud Crawford, which is why we need a representative for team
Canelo.
We're not talking Eddie Rinozo.
We're talking big Dana White.
We need to see Dana White in these pressers.
He's supposed to be promoting the fight.
I know he's got UFC fight night tonight, or this weekend.
But I want to see him in either New York or Vegas.
I need to see Dana, red Dana, coming out in support of his favorite boxer, Canello Alvarez.
And listen, this was a nice intro presser.
There wasn't a lot really said, but you saw some intense moments.
You saw when they started talking about belts and buds like, I'm leaving with your belts.
Ain't nothing you could do about it.
Canello's like, you're good, but you're, you're not.
not me. I don't care how much turkey wants you to wins. I'm upset in everybody. But then the face
off itself, intensity, no games. It's now time to get this fight build going. We'll see what happens.
I guess in New York on Sunday, we'll cover that one as well. And what happens as far as the
fight's concerned? The big question everybody has, the size difference. That time, Canneau did look
a little bigger, a little stronger potentially if I don't have those answers. So, I guess we'll find out.
What is wrong with Connor McGregor? Legitimately, what the fuck is wrong with this guy?
I just pisses me off.
How does he go from videos like this?
He's up here training with his son.
That's how steep that hill is, folks.
All right, champ, line up.
Ready to go.
Yeah, I'm going to fall exactly with that.
Is it?
Yeah, yeah, and do you like it?
I'm not going to lie, that laugh might be the underlying demon
that Connor McGregor suppresses around his family
coming out for just a short bit.
Like it?
Because it's like a real race.
Because he's bipolar?
I don't think you can just call it.
We want more pressure, yeah, there's not enough pressure on us.
Put more pressure on us because it's light work.
Right, let's go into your position.
Three, two, one, go.
Come on.
Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Fast, fast, fast, fast, fast.
Fast, yes, there you go.
That's the pace.
That's the pace.
Come on.
That is gone, come on.
Come on, come on.
Come on, come on.
Come on, come on.
All the way, all the way, all the way, all the way, all the way.
All the way, all the way, stay strong.
Stay strong.
Stay structured.
Let's go, push, push, push.
Get it out of you, come on.
Get it out of you.
Go, go, go, go.
Go!
It's a long-ass run.
He goes from doing something like that, and you even see D Devlin with the hard eyes, and everybody's like, nice, good work.
He's like, put more pressure on us here.
No, the North pressure, cause his light walk.
He's a psycho, but also, he's doing this shit.
Now it is the Sun reporting, but, I mean, this is clear video evidence.
Conra Greger, floors a man with two punches in some club in Ibiza.
Talking to the fella, boom, a little slap, and then the left hand over the top, and there goes the guy flying.
Guy said something.
Connor didn't like, boom, a little slap, and then a punch.
What could the guy have done, honestly?
I see people in Chasana, maybe the guy did something to warn it.
What?
What could he have done?
Is that me or does it look like True Jordi?
If Connor keeps growing like a good boy and gets some inches of height, as well as his massive HGH frame,
he could look like True Jordi.
Probably a Habib fan.
You don't get, listen, if you're Connor McGregor and you've had this many issues outside of the cage
slapping the old man, punching people taking phones, stomping them, doing all this other shit,
it gets to a point where it's like you have to know you're the celebrity in the room.
You have to know that motherfuckers are going to try to push your buttons, dude.
So what, someone comes up and he's like, ah, Habib beat your ass.
Remember in Vegas a couple weeks, like it was a couple months ago, he spit on the guy and he told him,
he's like, I spit on you.
You have to realize people are going to troll you forever.
Not saying that it's right for a guy to come up and talk shit and walk away,
but for Connor to start punching people after they say something he doesn't like is also not right and worse.
The old man didn't even do nothing.
Old man was just sitting there.
It's not like he gave the guy another chance where he slapped him and was like, say it again.
No, he slapped him and then dropped the left hand on him.
I'll ask you guys this.
If you're that guy, let's say the punch doesn't even hurt, right?
Let's say he's not even hurting you with the punch.
Do you flop?
Do you take the slap and then he hits you with the punch and then do you just like flop over and
and like hope that you can sue him.
Is that, is that where we're at?
It's society.
Because it looked like that's, I mean, the dude fell.
And he for sure got hit with a big time shot.
Pullback counter right.
All right.
I'm sure your pullback counter right is going to work on Connor.
I'm punching back.
I think I could win.
Yes.
Rolfo Pilato.
Facts, dude.
We're pulling a ballado out here.
Fuck here.
He feels so privileged, thinks he can punch anybody he wants.
I mean, yeah, this is just a bad look.
Again, from Connor McGregor.
What are we supposed to say at this point?
I wonder what the guy said to him.
It probably had to do with Habib.
You know, that's probably the only thing I can imagine
that would set him off that quickly.
Or like Mick Chicken or like, you tap like chicken, some dumb shit.
But still, yeah, I'm not surprised.
It doesn't surprise me.
It's just another long line of like Connor being an idiot.
Damn, that dude did hit the floor.
Oh my God.
Griger's then shielded from clubgoers by his own friends
Okay
Then what happens
Then we just stand there and it just kind of goes back
Your wife is MEDAMs hi baby
Someone said that man
Terrence McKinney what the hell
That man gonna get paid for fighting Connor before Chandler
Not defending Connor here because nothing really can justify this
But it got to wonder what the man said to him
If the first thing that we ask is what did the guy say to him
I think we're thinking about this the wrong way
Not to excuse the guy for just popping up at the mouth and saying some crazy shit,
but he didn't physically put hands on him, at least not in this video.
We didn't see anything like that.
Someone says something you don't like.
You can't haul off and assault him, dude.
Not how the world works.
And Connor has probably had a ton of, you know, civil suits that he's had to settle for doing shit like that.
We probably don't even know about some of them.
He probably said something about his kids.
Why?
Why are you keep spamming?
He probably said something about his kids.
What would this guy walk up to Connor McGregor and be like, your kids are shit?
Like, why would anybody do that?
Why would, you guys are saying he talked about Conner's family.
Who?
What?
Why?
Maybe the guy was drunk.
So when you get drunk, you go up to, if there's a celebrity near you, you start bad mouthing
their kids?
No, dude.
The more likely option is he said something about Conner's fighting ability or Habib or his
whiskey or things that Conner's known for.
Not like, hey, fuck you and your kids.
And even if, and even if he did say that, new combo starter.
even if he said something about Connor's wife
you still can't punch him in the fucking face
I'm not saying that the guy's right for doing it
if that's what happened but you can't you can't assault people
for just saying things to you
the guy has absolutely no reason to say anything about his kids
exactly you guys are making up a scenario dude
unless this is like some fucking Kenahan Irish mob thing
that Connor has I've heard at least
got some loose connections to potentially
which is again another seventh layer of hair
yeah he probably said something about the whiskey
or something about Connor's fighting a bit
I know you guys are fans of Connor.
I am one of the biggest American-born fans of Connor McGregor.
This is just the truth.
I loved Connor McGregor.
I loved his fight style.
I loved his attitude.
I loved his commitment.
I loved all of it.
I loved the whole story.
But you have to call a spade a spade.
The guy, when he gets liquored up, when he's out at a club,
I don't even know if it's liquor.
I think it's just Connor's natural ego that comes to the surface and the liquor helps
to get there.
Because you can blame the liquor.
You can blame the c-a-and-you-you-blame.
And you can blame the drugs all you want.
But at a certain point, they're just a reflection of the personality type you've become.
Like old Connor was not like that.
Old Connor, when I say old Connor, I mean before money.
You can say money did it to him.
I don't know.
But ego, even in the face of like people not believing in him, wasn't that.
When he had a little bit of money and he started developing an ego and started to be around fans and people that, you know, outside of just Ireland,
this stuff started happening more and more.
Really when he started losing.
and people started heckling more and more.
Maybe the guy handed him the wrong Coke.
Money just showed Conner's true colors.
I don't know, man, because I don't think that money enhances something you already are sometimes.
I think it can turn you into something that you weren't before.
Like, I think money changes people.
I really do.
I think that it can be mitigated for sure,
and you can still be the same person you always were.
But I think having that amount of money and a lack of supervision
or a lack of trustworthy people around you,
to keep you grounded can change you yeah punching the old dude in the bar least we forget this one
i'm sure this old guy said something about his family too right nope just did not want to drink connor's
whiskey and connor hauled off and punched him facts wage changing i think i'm changing for the better
i'm in a committed relationship trying to take care of my family all of that Connor could have killed
him low key Connor just fell into a dark place and hasn't gotten out of it i mean did he fall into a dark
place or did he walk into it willingly? Because he's had ever opportunity to change his trajectory
and how he is either perceived in the public or the things that he gets himself into. These are,
these are decisions. You know what I mean? When he threw that dolly through that bus,
he wasn't thinking about the people on the bus. He was thinking about revenge. It was a decision.
Punch that old dude. He wasn't thinking about fucking anything, I guess, but rage. And he was embarrassed,
I guess. I don't know. This thing, same thing. Embarrassed probably. Conner could probably, no joke,
I'm not a huge believer in therapy for everything,
but Connor could use therapy, I think.
Definitely.
Because I think he is the macho, bravado ego of Connor McGregor
won't allow him to accept what's happened to him
in the second part of his career.
I think that's what it really is.
And all this pent up like,
I have to maintain that person that I was before.
I have to maintain this invincibility to himself
because no one else believes it.
That he got to believe it.
Wade, you also defecate in the streets.
I do.
streets of Orange County. Connor's going to be on the therapist. But like think about it, he still
won't accept he lost to Habib. He won't accept he lost to Dustin Porrier and got knocked out by
Dustin Porriere. Let's not forget that Connor got knocked out cold, slumped on the floor by
Dustin Porier. I don't think he accepts that. I only accepts the Abib loss. I think those things
still probably eat at him because if you strip everything away from Connor McGregor, one thing you
could say about him is he's a fighter. Wade, let's not act like it wasn't a robbery.
Yeah, he's a fighter.
And that's where all of his pride is.
You think he changed after the Floyd fight?
I think he got a little bit more complacent after the Floyd fight.
Yeah.
I think that absolutely, that boxing money made him more complacent
so that he took more time away from MMA.
And by the time he came back to MMA, the game had changed.
He was obviously not as fresh.
He was not as prepared.
He wasn't as switched on.
It was more revenge that brought him back
versus the ability to be the greatest,
which is all he wanted to be beforehand.
Dustin Bore made the calf kick blow up after the counter fight.
No, that's the thing.
is like, yeah, the calf kick, you know, got a lot of attention,
but the calf kick had already had attention before that.
Before Connor got hit with the calf kick, we had DJ doing it to Henry Sohudo,
we had Sean O'Malley getting hit with it, we had T.J. Dillishaw doing it.
We had a lot of people doing it before that ever got.
Benson was the one that essentially created it.
Before Connor got hit with that, Dustin only started doing it because it was done to him.
But when it happened to Connor, more people went, oh my God, look at it.
It had already been four years.
That's one of the more ironic things about it
And the thing that Connor still doesn't do
And probably won't because he won't ever fight
There went no checks
But Connor was in an era of MMA that did not include it
And when he left and started doing the boxing
And then he came back and fought Habib once
Habib not really known as a kicker
That part of the game is something he didn't even spar again
He didn't even see in sparring
Let alone in a fight
Until Dustin Porier brought it to his front door
Like oh shit
So yeah man this is just another instance
And you get to a point where you're like
What do we even think?
say. I'm fully done with thinking Connor's ever going to fight again. I think that ship is sailed.
But he's talking about wanting to be a politician. And I don't know who took that seriously.
Maybe again, his own delusion believes that's going to happen. I've been to Ireland. I've been to
Dublin and they don't even like him there. And I hate to say it, but they don't even like him.
I talk to people that I'm around, whether it was taxi drivers, bartenders, servers,
servers, workers in retail, anybody I could kind of work it into the conversation. They're
probably tired of it because Americans probably ask all the time about him. But I would try to work it
into the conversation. This was in 2023 just to see like, do they even like this guy? And the answer was
always no. We're embarrassed by him. We don't like him. And that's sad because he was carrying the flag for
those people. And now what? He's he's going to run for political office with stuff like this
still happening. How can you trust a man? Again, hypothetically, because of course this would never really
happen but how could you trust a man to run your country when he can't even run his his life he is so
dysfunctional in the way that he he acts and carries himself why would you even think that he's
someone not only to run your country but to look up to in the country it's goofy shit man i really
don't know i it kind of worries me too to be like what what's what's going to happen with this guy is he
just going to flame out and you know raise his kids and be the old scorn fighter that pushes his son
into fighting and does all that, maybe, but I'm not expecting the old Connor anymore. I'm not expecting
that when I say the old Connor. If he's not fighting someone that is around the sport, someone that is
dedicated to his family and the sport or something, where he's not just a party animal like this
and doing stupid shit. I don't expect it anymore though. John Fury 2.0, legit. Looks like that
could be where he's headed. No joke. How he hasn't seen jail time. I mean, Connor is well connected,
obviously, in Ireland as well. Super well connected and can probably pay off a lot of
of people that would press charges. Why the UFC aren't releasing him makes no sense. It's a lose,
lose if you release Connor. Because if you release him, then you don't get to potentially make money
off him. And whatever he does in the future, it means that you'll probably never have the
opportunity to bring him back. Like, then you give Connor all the control. He went to court for the
bus incident. Right. But he didn't go to jail. That's what I'm saying. They stop him from boxing.
They stop him from bare knuckle. You don't want to give up that money because then you give Connor control.
And Connor can, you know, I don't want to come back. I want to do this, this, this for the rest of
of my career. It's kind of fucked up. I'm not going to lie, but at the same time, that's
business. You know what I'm saying? I got nothing else to say other than Connor. Just
continues to disappoint. That's really it. Just continues to disappoint MMA fans and the people
that cared about his legacy, the people he inspired with his run up to the belt, him winning the
belt, two-time champ, all that, but it's nothing new. I expect more of this from Connor. I expect
continuous dysfunction and I expect him to end up the old bitter, scorned fighter that never got over
the two most impactful losses of his career and it drove him to just be whatever this version
of him is. It's sad. I saw a video today or a clip from a video today of Vidal watching his
fight back against Chef Clark with none other than Mr. Drumroll please.
KSI. That's right. Mr. KS.
Do we not care?
Do we care about Logan breaking his leg?
Why not throw a parade?
I mean, we don't care.
Like, he'll be fine.
Mr. KSI sat down with Vidal Riley
to talk about Vidal's fight,
but also to talk about KSI's fight,
which at this point, I want to make clear
Vidal fucking goat, you know what I'm saying?
Their British champion, about to have another fight coming up.
But today's video, I want to talk about KSI, of course,
because I want to know what his mindset was off the Tommy Fury loss.
We've heard him say he didn't lose it.
We've heard him say he thought he won.
But we haven't heard why he boxed the way he boxed.
We've only seen that that's what he did, right?
Because one of the biggest things that KSI was able to do that others weren't,
including Jake, was able to stifle Tommy a little bit,
was able to make the fight a little bit more rough and tumble,
was able to make it a bit of a slop fest.
Because both him and Tommy were very sloppy.
Toppy.
And they didn't have the greatest performance,
but the fight was close because of some of the things.
JJ was doing so I've always asked the question
why why was that the approach
and is it beneficial for KSI
if he is to take the rematch
if he is to ever boxing in does he need to switch things
up and
when potentially can that happen
let's get into it the breakdown
let's go
take a look chat
to lean back from the initial one
yeah boom
hold that that's the best shot of the fact
yeah yeah yeah so how do you feel yeah
so last time you got in the ring
was Tommy
was Tommy
yeah
how did you feel
going into that last round
um
I felt like I was winning
yeah
and I was like all right
I got
like try and make a statement
yeah
it's like
score it like
you know
this is a big moment
I like that mindset
by the way
if you look
if you think back on the KSI Tommy fight
the rounds are super murky
right
not a lot of punches
landed from either guy. I think Tommy had a point
taken away at a certain point in the fight as well.
And for that last round, KSI has been in a couple different
fights now where the last round
is the most important round and he tends to make a statement in those last
rounds to either pull back even with Logan for a draw
or beat Logan a second time
by essentially winning those last rounds or a day last round.
And when he needs to make a statement or when he needs
to win a moment, he's got the heart
do it. So I like the mentality there. Like I got to go and do something. I got to make it happen.
Not like, oh, I just got to survive this round and I win. Oh, I just need to box on the outside and, you know, touch him up a little bit and then I win. He's like, no, I need to go win this. I love the mindset.
I'm shattered. I'm knackered. I've been bouncing the whole time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I knew if I didn't bounce, bro, he would have just cut the ring off.
Because this is what you said. This is what you were saying, because when me and Leon made the video,
when we were saying about like why was you bouncing,
where did you be bouncing?
Then you was saying that you felt like if you didn't do that,
that he would be able to make it, it would make it easier for him.
So much easier, yeah.
Like you think that threw him off.
Yeah, yeah.
Because, you know, he's been boxing for most of his life.
Yeah.
So I just knew, like, if I just stood there and, like, fought, you know,
with a little bit of movement,
he would have just come through with shots.
And then I would have been, like, lost.
And then that.
Well, I mean, okay.
What is this? KSI versus Tommy made me pro-choice. Are we for real, dude? What the fuck?
This is essentially KSI admitting that he is not technically as good a boxer to be able to compete with Tommy by boxing in the traditional sense. And I kind of like that. That's a little bit of self-reflection to say, you know what? I have to do some things differently to be able to compete at this level. And he's right. He's not. He's not.
not a traditional boxer. He's not someone that's trained this sport for years and years.
He's going to have to take, and if you want to call it shortcuts, or you want to talk about
it being a different route, he's going to have to do something to even the playing field.
And him standing bladed and being a little bit more elusive, you know, the bounce, whatever,
but just being in and out, being bladed, and leaving it up to Tommy to try to risk things
to get to range, to throw more output, but also be in the firing line longer.
is not a bad strategy.
There is, however, a peak to that.
As in, if you get good at doing just that
and not the fundamentals of boxing,
you're going to plateau at a certain level.
And once somebody figures out how to handle just an orthodox fighter,
then it's going to be curtains, right?
Especially if you're going into a rematch
where someone has seen it before,
this is why I've always thought, you know, KSI as a once in a while boxer can work because if you only see him so much, there isn't a lot of game footage or game tape on him to be able to make a ton of adjustments, right?
But if KSI is continuously doing this and people get more and more tape, eventually you're going to run into a guy that has better fundamentals that understands how to implement the fundamentals, his technique, is training,
his experience and figure out very quickly how to shut down one to two to three good things you do
and leave you exposed. So this is the only thing that when I come back and I wonder what KSI is
going to do next, I don't know how long he's going to be able to get away with this, right? He can get
away with it and has gotten away with it up until this point. But when you're relying on, I don't want
to call it a gimmick because it isn't. But when you're relying on a specific skill set,
and you haven't built the fundamentals to go with that skill set,
to be able to change and add new wrinkles to it
and add new wrinkles to your game based off the foundation that you have in the sport,
then eventually it's going to let you down.
It's kind of one of those things, it's like,
your biggest strength is your biggest weakness.
What got you to the dance eventually will be what removes you from it.
If you stay in too long and if you overexpose it, right?
So for KSI, I don't mind the strategy because Tommy had never seen anything like that.
He never seen anything like that.
I don't care what he says about, mate, I've spawned people like you in the street, mate.
They come out of pubs, mate.
No, he's never seen anything like that.
But now that he has, it may be and should be a bit more easy for him to navigate.
And KSI is probably right.
Had he stood there and tried to box without being in and out of range,
without being elusive and hard to hit and being lighter on his feet,
he probably would have gotten beaten knocked out.
Well, Tommy doesn't really knock out many people,
but he probably would have gotten beaten.
So I don't mind the strategy.
I would just implore KSI if he's going to continue to box
that he takes this time off.
I know he's got hands of injury,
but he takes this time off to get back to the fundamentals,
to lay a foundation for what happens
when either I get too tired from constantly being on the move.
And again, this was a six-round fight.
So a six-round fight.
What happens when he goes eight?
What happens when he goes 10?
Listen, I'm not acting like I can do six rounds and be fresh, because I can't.
Fucking, you guys saw me in four rounds.
I can't fight for very long.
But I'm also not trying to fight Jake Paul, trying to fight Tommy Freehry, trying to, you know, be at that level.
So if that's the case, KSI is going to have to find something to give him
himself either some rest time or to fall back on.
Because just doing the bounce saves you from being in a Marcus of Queensberry technical
boxing match, but it also will lead to his detriment, I think.
Who do I think won the fight?
I thought it was a draw.
I did.
I thought it was a draw.
I didn't think that Tommy did enough to win.
I thought if anything, KSI had done enough to gain a draw.
Sometimes you've got to pretend you didn't read some of these comments.
You did.
Yeah, Jaden, I don't know.
Some people are fucking weird.
Anyway, back to it.
He's just there like, I don't know what to do with this.
Yeah, it does.
And you tell he was getting frustrated.
It freezes Tommy a bit, right?
It freezes him.
It freezes him.
This bounce, because KSI can dart and jump in, it freezes him.
A draw with a one-point deduction.
Yes.
Why is that a question?
Go ahead, write your scorecards out,
get the fingers moving on the keyboard.
I thought it was a draw.
But no, for KSI 2, again, your first time against that,
it's very difficult to maneuver.
One, it's not even the bounce to me.
It's more the bladed stance.
KSI can hide his right hand really well with the bladed stance.
I'd have to go back and rewatch the fight to rescore it, Bird.
But if you'd like to score it, go ahead.
Having a lead shoulder hide your back shoulder
is so much of an advantage
if you can keep it hidden
and not get into clinch situations a ton.
They clinched a ton,
but Tommy didn't do anything besides
jab his way to clinch and then try to release.
I don't care how it was scored.
I care about how I saw the fight.
I looked at it as a draw.
I couldn't give a fuck about point deduction.
I didn't see anybody do anything enough to win the fight.
It was a sloppy fight that either fighter
didn't do enough to win.
I couldn't care about the scorecard.
part of the fight. Couldn't gave a shit. KSI, in my opinion, didn't lose.
But he also didn't look like he did anything to win. Tommy, in my opinion, didn't lose.
KSai never really hurt him. There was such a lack of punches thrown and landed. And it looked
like two guys that had a sloppy fight and no one really separated themselves. But I didn't
think KSI lost. I thought he looked better than I thought he would look.
as well.
Bird, like I said, I'd have to go back and watch the fight.
You guys get so hung up on,
oh my God, how did you score round one, two, three, four, five.
It's fucking two years later.
I don't know how I scored the goddamn fight.
Jesus.
What I remember was,
there were very close rounds
that most punches were landed either in the clinch
as they were being separated
or a jab here and there.
I think KSI landed the most meaningful shot of the fight early.
But it was, it was,
that was not a great fight to watch
as far as the technique of it.
It was a fun fight to watch for me
because it was a moment, you know.
It was a moment that I didn't expect to happen.
You know what I mean?
I thought KSI was going to get overwhelmed by volume
and that Tommy was at some point
going to learn how to keep himself at range
and not smother his work, but he hasn't.
KSai took advantage of the fact that Tommy couldn't just jab
and when he couldn't just jab
he smothered himself
and KSI was right there to try to land in the clinch
and then they'd separate and again and again and again
and that was kind of it.
But before we got off topic
because I'm now thinking about
how to score around from fucking two years ago
I think that KSI did exactly what
his skill set allowed him to do.
I wasn't a big fan of the game plan
from team shoot fighters
right
especially the part where they were like
let's
let's clench him and hope he hit you in the back of the head
that was a bit of an odd one
and by the way
both fighters hit each other in the back of the head
multiple times
Tommy was not the only guy
that hit somebody in the back of the head
so I wasn't a big fan of that
but yeah
KSI had to kind of fight that way
or he's kind of explaining it there, he would have lost.
And that's not a bad thing to admit.
To me, that's having some self-introspecting and going,
yeah, you know, this is what we had to do because he was going to,
he was going to do that.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, that's not a bad thing to me.
But it's interesting to hear him talk about it,
because all we've heard him say is, I think I won, you know.
And he was trying to establish his job.
Yeah.
But because I was never really there.
It played with it.
Yeah.
It's because KSI wasn't there or he was here.
Right?
There was a very stark difference between,
like KSI just never boxed in the mid-range, point-blank.
That's what happened.
KSI never boxed in that mid-range.
He was either clinched range, inside,
or out of range completely.
And yeah, that was going to frustrate Tommy
because Tommy likes to work in the mid-range too close.
It likes to close with the jab.
If you're not there while he's closing,
and then in between you're there,
it's going to fuck him up.
It played him.
But the last round, you're thinking,
statement.
Yeah, I mean, you have to.
Did you feel that it was close?
Or did you feel that you was winning,
but you still wanted to put a statement down?
I felt like it was close,
but I thought because of the back of the headshot
and him losing a point
and, you know, me hitting him quite a few times,
especially in the clinch,
I was like, okay, I've won this,
but I need to just make sure.
Right attitude.
Perfect attitude, regardless of what you're doing.
To be able to go, you know what, I still need to make a statement.
That's the right attitude to have.
I like it.
Tommy said he brought people in to do what JJ does,
but there's not really anybody that does what JJ does that Tommy could bring in,
unless he found fucking MVP to come do it.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
There's me going into a last round here.
I'm thinking, okay, I'm winning.
Can.
Yeah.
I don't have to stop.
Just like, let me...
I could have.
Let's do it.
Yeah.
I'm good.
I'm good at that.
Not a shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, you didn't even need to do that, but you just do it before.
No.
If you don't watch boxing, it's just like, okay, he won, but what happened?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
I kind of just talk.
It's cool.
What?
Validity.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What have been saying to you, like, in public or online?
No, like,
The whole
everyone's opinion
has changed now
Okay
Everyone's opinion
change
everyone's like
No, yeah
yeah yeah
Yeah
yeah yeah
yeah
always ready to
man dude
Yeah
yeah
people say that
your YouTube
but bro
trust me
you're serious
there has been
a flip on Vidal
for sure
from the
from the public
like the UK
sports public
especially
there's been a flip
obviously people
in this community
people in KSI's community
uh
you know
influencer boxing
fans in general
always felt like
regardless of
what Vidal did
and the
influencer boxing side that he has real talent.
I still think he has elite level talent for cruiser weight.
But that's, you know, something he has to still go do.
But a lot of the UK pundits, right, and former boxers didn't think that way.
They thought of him as the guy, the YouTuber that boxes.
Not knowing he was a, I mean, either not knowing or not caring to know that he was a super
decorated amateur.
Eddie Hearn thought Chev Clark was the better amateur and pro.
he got found out
you know what I'm saying
there's just a lot of people that
maybe because of the age
the inactivity
that I'll take time off
from the sport for a while
I don't know
the YouTube stuff
the music whatever
they just didn't see it
and the rest of us did
we should be vindicated chat
you know what I mean
so now everyone is finally with it
people are actually like
no that guy
combust but we've been saying that
yeah yeah
seven years after you said
yeah
we got the British title
I don't know.
Let's leave him there, man.
Yeah, yeah.
We don't need him.
We don't need him.
We don't need him.
Okay.
Yeah, he's my mandatory.
So he's been making some noise
saying he wants to go next.
Oh, here we are.
This Alois guy,
okay.
He's my mandatory.
Okay.
Yeah, he's my mandatory.
So he's been making some noise
saying he wants to go next.
Yeah, yeah.
And I'm like, cool, isn't it?
Oh, you're down?
Let's run it.
I'm ready to get back in the ring,
September.
Hard.
There's scratch.
Sick.
September.
Hold on a second.
Vidal coming back in September?
Do you think he has an opportunity to get on the Canelo and Terrence Crawford
Undercard in Vegas?
I think for the British title, they may want to do it in the UK,
which would probably make more sense.
And it's probably just me being selfish, wanting my boy to get a spotlight.
But hey, you never know.
that's right
the you bank and bin two
rematch is also scheduled for
September so
I just wish he was on Netflix
that'd be cool man
what a spot but if they're going to put him on that undercard
I think that's another great spot for him as well
they'd have to
they'd have to put him in somewhere
like you can't defend the British boxing
title in Vegas
you gotta do it in England
you got to
yeah I don't think
I don't think
that'd be a bad thing
I'm just saying that Vegas car would be nice
That's it
So he's and he's got the Commonwealth title
Okay
So you take that from him
Yeah so it'll be a British and Commonwealth title fair
Yeah yeah yeah
Two belts
Sounds good to me
But he's on this
Yeah I'm gonna cut the ring down
Yeah yeah
And I'm gonna knock him out
Oh
That's what you say
I'm gonna cut that ring down
I'm like yeah
I like it
He's talking that stuff
Yeah
What's his record?
Uh
What's it 8 in 1
or 9 and 1.
Something that he lost early in his career.
Benavides.
Opataya rumored for the co-main on Netflix.
Oh my God.
There's no way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, JJ sounds like a hungry, hungry hippo, dude.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bro, if that happens, I might shit my pants.
If Opitaya fights Benavides,
which Benavita is becoming up from light heavyweight,
that'd be another move up,
which is fine.
fucking beast anyway but oh my lord I would be insane good run since but then he should
just continue his run but he wants to trouble me so yeah yeah let's do it let's do it so
I had to make sure yeah I addressed him yeah as the mandatory challenge okay sick but
yeah man this is a wow yeah yeah it'll be good to see what yeah yeah
these highlights. Come on. Yeah, yeah.
And that's a thing, like, there's a huge amount of people who know of you.
And, you know, the more times I see, especially when you have, like, fights against, like, the top, top guys.
That's what I would be like, oh, shit.
That's Vidal? Oh, and then they'll look and go, oh.
This isn't KSai's video to copyright strike. This is Vidal's video, but yeah, he probably will.
My God.
Keep getting, we're just going to keep him.
Yeah, yeah.
You're not allowed to do more.
Yeah, yeah.
successful in this, then you're not allowed to
have a YouTube channel. Now
every fighter's got a YouTube channel.
Yeah. Anyway, it's just
that I was the first to do it
in this side of finger, Ryan,
but I'd say UK-wise,
I was probably the first
boxer on this route
to invest in socials.
Ryan obviously done it in the US.
True, by the way, yeah.
Without, I mean,
other fighters have since gotten
social media and YouTube channels and
AJ and those guys, but yeah, I think Vidal might be the first one.
The UK here, who is in the briefcase?
We do.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
React.
Wait, where's the fucking clip about Jake?
No, no, no, so.
With the.
Yeah, nah.
Deceit.
Okay, okay.
So did you, did you get a chance to see this fight?
Did you watch Shib's entrance?
Yeah.
You got to admit it's a good song.
In spite of the same.
Yeah.
So obviously the better entrance was mine.
God dang it.
Yeah, go out to me.
What do you mean?
Oh, you're giving us credit?
Are you giving us credit?
Are you giving us credit?
Well, you got European title?
Yeah, you're your first trophy.
We were in, I'm in.
J.J.
Or do you think.
You do it on purpose.
I don't do on purpose.
All right.
Anyway.
I was reacting to,
me, you and Leon done it.
Oh, I gotta get the Jake clip off, dog.
No.
It makes sense for the video.
Bain.
Oh, it's good.
We're doing it in the sideman house.
Oh, this is sick.
Back to a fact.
So he's the first.
So,
yeah.
How about you guys?
Bro,
that's so.
Habit.
Yeah,
because it's been on tour.
Briefcase.
Bro.
Help me, chat.
God dang it.
Someone said search the transcripts.
Excuse me?
Okay,
hold on.
Aha, I found it.
You always get the, uh.
Leo you're going to have to figure out the way to chop this video
are Jake Paul versus Vidal
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm still getting that I'm still getting that
But that's because he's saying he wants to be world champion
Yeah, but he's just stupid man
It's just so pointless
He's saying he wants to be world champion
Yeah by beating my Tyson yeah crazy bro
So he needs to I don't know man
I don't know I feel like that that
That fight is always people always gonna say that
Yeah
For as long as same way people say about you
Yeah, yeah.
It's the same for me because he's literally blending the light, like blurring the lines.
So he's like, yeah, I'm going to be world champion.
And he's like, yeah, fuck KSI.
And it's like, so he's literally, you're like, I'll beat you up.
And I'm like, this guy's coming to my section as well.
So he's just active in it.
He is active.
I said this yesterday when I saw the clip for the first time.
But KSI is a generational hater of Jake Paul.
Like, that's the truest way to describe that, you know.
generational hater.
And there's nothing wrong with that
because he's a rival of Jake, right?
And they've been rivals even before the boxing,
the music and everything else.
He's just a generational hater.
I saw a clip of Jake the other day in Puerto Rico or somewhere
doing a workout talking about,
oh, he's too busy crying about his song,
crying about his music video.
He's too busy fighting off the haters of his music.
He ain't fighting me.
They both take pot shots at each other, right?
It is a little ironic,
Because JJ is like Mr. Defy the Odds.
Mr. Test yourself.
Mr. Prove everyone wrong.
So for him to be like,
oh, it's stupid for Jake to want to be a world champ.
That's like people saying like,
oh, it's stupid for KSI to want to make music.
Right?
Because that's not what he's good at.
That's not what, you know,
he's known for.
He's a YouTuber.
I don't think JJ would say this
if it was anybody other than Jake.
Right.
I think he would be like,
no, go chase.
Go do what you're doing, man.
People are going to say that it's impossible.
but you can go do it.
But because him and Jake are fucking bitter rivals,
of course, he's going to have a little bit of haterade ready.
You know what I'm saying?
Hot and ready.
Knees weak arms are heavy.
Type shit.
So that's kind of like, you know, all right.
A little bit of haterade there.
But at the same time,
I think JJ also wants the Jake Paul fight.
I think that's part of it too.
He just wants it.
You know what I'm saying?
I think he's like,
I know, don't worry about that.
Come fight me.
It's active, but this showed just a good level.
The levels.
I mean, I'm trying to think.
Did you see this when they were doing these people in between the right?
So I think that had Ed Sheeran.
That one actually looked like that.
Well, so a lot of people were like, oh, my God.
That was weird how Turkey and I don't really know.
I guess it's because of the whole they don't want to do a ring card girls,
but like they had like stand-ins of like Ed Shearin in New York.
there was Hulk Hogan.
That one's apparently Anthony Joshua
look-alike.
It's just like, I didn't understand
any of it, dude.
One of them was a Snoop Dog look-alike,
but yeah, that was an odd
part of the whole thing. Can you become world champion
without fighting anyone in the rankings?
Technically, no.
You can't, you can become one by
fighting a contender
that's ranked for a vacant belt,
or you fight the person that has the actual belt.
But the ranking,
can be manipulated. Let's not get that mistaken.
These sanctioning bodies can just rank people.
Devin Haney's ranked at 147 despite never fighting there.
Mani Pachial just got put back into the rankings
after however many years off at 46 years old.
It can be manipulated.
But I think Jake, you know, if he is to become a world champion,
he's going to have to fight some really, really tough competition.
I still don't think it's possible, but you never know.
You never know.
because Jake doesn't care about a domestic belt.
Being a world champion is what he cares about.
So he doesn't want to take the traditional run to it.
He wants to find a way to beat names like Chavez Jr.
Potentially, you know, somebody else with a massive name
that has a history of being a high-level boxer
and then use that to parlay it into getting shoved into the rankings
and fighting for a belt.
So take shortcuts.
Absolutely.
I don't think that's like, that's clear to see.
If you ask Jake, if he's going to fight for a domestic bell,
he's going to tell you no.
Of course.
I think everybody knows that.
Everybody knows that Jake is going to take a shortcut
and has taken a shortcut in the sport of boxing.
He didn't fight amateur at all.
If he gets to a world title belt,
it won't be because he fought number one, two, three, four, five ranked
to find his way through that.
It'll be because, like I said, he fights guys like Chavez,
potentially fights someone like,
I don't like this fight, but Javante Davis,
and Canello or anything else.
But what would you have him do?
You know, like, Jake is a bit of a unicorn.
You know?
It's not like he can, like, it's almost dumb for him to try to do that.
It's almost like,
it's stupid for him to try to fight all these ranked guys
with a name as big as he is,
with one loss being pretty much the end of it,
it doesn't make sense for him to run through the gotler.
And by the way,
I think a bunch of these boxers would be like,
oh yeah, I'd do that shit too if I could.
You know, I would go and fight fucking whoever else.
If that's how I could do it, then I would.
That's the point.
Not saying it's the right way to earn a world title,
not saying it's the traditional way,
not saying it's even the best way for the continuity of the sport.
But that's just, that's what has to be.
be done for Jake to even get that shot to me.
I don't see him fighting four through one ranked, you know.
Yeah, it's kind of the same thing as, you know, people like Better Beav and Daniel Dubois calling Jake out for a fight.
You know, it's the same kind of thing.
But anyway, there is KSI talking with Vidal Riley about his fight with Tommy Fury, them chatting about him and Jake Paul.
Listen, I don't know if we're ever going to get KSI back in a ring.
I hope so, but I don't know.
And if he does get back, I still don't think we're getting the Jake fight,
at least not right away.
Maybe somewhere down the line.
Maybe it'll be a Floyd and Manny situation where we get it when they're both way too old
and the lack of people carrying are still around.
But we'll see.
I want to see if KSI does fight for eight rounds how he looks,
if he decides to switch up and stop being so bladed.
and, you know, so active on his feet, how that helps or hurts him.
And does he, if this time off, right, with all this time he's going to have to recover from surgery,
does he go back and work more on the fundamental foundation of boxing?
That's what I want to see, because that will take him to a different level.
That will take him to a place where he has an advantage of using a technique and a style that's a little different from everybody else.
when he combines it with the fundamentals of a jab and other things,
I think that can make him a lot more dangerous than he already is.
It's just a matter of will he commit to doing it?
Because it's not fun, trust me, to work on the fundamentals.
It's not flashy.
It's not even a hard workout.
It's just frustrating, painstaking, technique drilling
to make sure that you don't have to think about it anymore.
A jab won't win you fights
It absolutely will
I really worry that you guys don't watch the sport
I truly worry
If you think a jab can't win you a boxing match
You're out of your mind
Sometimes a jab alone by itself
Can win you a boxing match
It was W raise bait
You motherfucker
Anyway I don't have the answers
For what happens next with KSI
Or Vidal he's got a fight coming up
I hope he wins
I hope it's a big spotlight forum, co-main event, something like that.
But as of right now, I have no idea what happens next for either guy.
I guess we'll find out.
Folks, we're back on the way concept presented by The Ring Magazine.
Video that was just dropped about four hours ago,
Demetrius Johnson teaches KSI tough lesson in MMA and BJJ,
The Mighty Journey.
I knew this video was coming out because I work with some of the same people
that Mighty Mouse works with on the back end of my channel.
So yeah, I was excited about this.
I did not know what it would be.
I was hoping there would be more boxing.
I don't know that there is or isn't.
But let's take a look as Demetrius Johnson took a day
and trained with KSI.
And then who comes to the door?
KSI shows up.
What a lot?
What's up?
How are we doing?
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I don't, that's probably not KSI's bag.
It's probably just the coach's bag.
but this is the most ironic image
based on the things said about KSI's coaches
literally just bad carriers
have you ever done any like grappling
or learning any Jiu-Jitsu
so I did I did a little bit
with Bisming
and he just
told me a new one right
if you're getting
now granted KSI has no grappling
zero and most of the UK
fight scene for a very long time
not that KSI needed to learn how to grapple whatever
BJJ is not taught in the
UK, or at least not until recently, it was not one of the arts that a lot of British fighters
used. Wrestling as well. You get a lot of strikers, a lot of kickboxers, a lot of moitai, even some
I mean, more Dutch kickboxing than moitai, but all of that in Europe. But recently, you're starting
to see more jujitsu. I mean, even in the UFC, guys like Patty Pimbley, obviously Tom Aspenall's got
great jujitsu, but historically, you're not going to see a ton of guys that would be great
grapplers coming out of the UK. Which is why, when Bisbing is
throwing you around again KSI has no experience so whatever but Bizbing's big thing used to be
hated fighting grapplers but he has enough to still put it on case so he's a little bit smaller
than me so I think I've got a bit more of a chance this time okay I'm thinking we try
wrestling for that thousand is not like one dollar yeah yeah yeah I've never done them
before you got to stay in a bubble they make it boring blah yeah yeah yeah they should have
Why did I do any boxing? Not like hard sparring, but like tech sparring. They should have done some of that
So we're gonna do a very basic wrestling move. Okay, pretty basic okay
So what I'm gonna do it to you and you're gonna do it to me okay, sure. Okay, it's called a single leg
Single leg. I know a single leg. Okay, you know a single right? So I'm gonna grab a single and we do this to work our balance
Okay, right? So I'm gonna shoot in boom single and you're just gonna hop around
Okay, just gonna hop around keep your balance here, yeah, okay
Yeah, there you go. It's pretty easy, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's comfortable getting
been sexually assaulted yet.
You're not with the one leg back.
You're not.
Right.
And then now we put this one down.
I'm going to shoot in this one.
Move around.
Okay.
This is very basic, right?
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're very basic of a single lady.
You walk around.
So how would you get out of this?
There's so many ways you get out of it.
Oh, so many.
So many.
You actually do back clips.
Oh, wow.
Should be easy with all the bouncing.
Put your foot to the ground.
Put your foot to the ground.
Put this foot to the ground.
Oh.
Put it down.
Oh my God, he's not strong.
Wait.
Yeah, like that, right?
What the .
So you do you have my foot up?
Yeah.
Right?
I'm going to bring you towards me and then go there like that.
Okay, wow.
Now I'm here and I'm ready to put the cross face,
sense a nap, go for a choke.
I mean, there's so many different things.
Or the backflip, you guys just do backflips to get out of it.
Alright?
So you want to focus on, try to put this to the ground by bringing your chest to the
by bringing your chest towards me.
So like that.
Yeah, but now put your foot to the ground.
Yeah, yeah, but you're pushing your butt back.
Don't push your butt back.
Bring your hips into me where you push.
What like?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, right?
Okay.
Yeah, there's all the, that's the weight I should be carrying.
Okay, dude.
Yeah.
You're strong.
Grappling strength, by the way, grappling strength is way, way, way different.
There can be like strong, physically strong boxers,
but like,
I don't know, man.
I don't know how to describe it.
Getting strong and then using that for grappling and the muscles involved with it,
you can feel it.
When a guy goes to take you down or gets his hands clasped together
and they have like grappling strength, it's like suffocating.
Different muscles, tendon strength, probably a lot of it too.
Density and maybe in the makeup and like her bone density matters a lot.
But it's crazy, man.
A lot of it is like forearm strength, back strength.
Obviously biceps too when you want to squeeze.
But it's, I had a guy.
one time and I was I was like just starting jujitsu just to show me how hard it is to grapple and how
you know mhmai fighters or whatever they have these great poker faces he body triangled me
which is not really a submission at all right it's just a triangle around your stomach and dude
i couldn't breathe my stomach wouldn't expand i couldn't breathe the pressure of it was like
not only that my ribs too like it felt like i was going to suffocate and my ribs were going to break
he was 260 no bradley martin but this the point remains that's kind of strong
strength and that difference, like, it's crazy.
Okay.
All right, I want to try something.
Freaky as.
I want to try and survive.
Okay.
Uh, from getting choked out.
Now, do you want to start from top?
Where do you want to start?
Because it's all, you get all the thing.
So what's...
Realistically, I'd want to start from bottom.
I know that sounds crazy.
The reason you would want to start in,
in, like, you know, bottom half guard or whatever,
or just, you know, bottom full guard.
If you have any amount of training is because you learn,
how to defend yourself off the bottom first in most jujitsu class you learn how to like defend
yourself off your back and get either off your back or to a better position first but if you start
and mount and you don't know like jj probably doesn't to stay very close like chest to chest get an
over grip get an underhook and hold on for dear life just so you can win the little challenge here
then you're going to get flipped DJ is going to buck his hips use the fact that you have no
idea how to distribute your weight and he's going to flip you we're standing up back
way of survival for me well all the I mean for you yes I mean don't get in the
fight with me I guess the best way of survival man for like a minute I'm gonna
try and knock it choked out for a minute KSI should have started in half guard top I
think but then again DJ could just literally regain and either regain full or
just get his hip out shrimp posture and get up well it might have been the best
spot, but KSI should have put his chest on DJ's chest.
Just running away.
Running away.
Running away, yeah.
I don't have the tissue tick you down and all that stuff.
Okay, wait, all right.
I'll be in full guard.
Jiu Jitsu pro start there.
Yeah, I mean, the one big knock on Jiu Jitsu is like the butt sitting, but they're used to it.
They know how to work offense and defense off their back.
They do that little butt scoot thing and then it like almost welcome you into their guard.
They want you to be in their guard.
That's what you see guys like Krong Gracie in UFC fights, literally walk up to the dude, get his
hands together and try to yank him down into his go like he wants you to be in his guard so he can
manipulate it but for someone like jj who has no experience i wanted to say top half guard but i don't
know mount mount mount mount i don't know mount is difficult because you have no control of the legs
that's why in my guard no full guard so i'm on top of you is that full mount you're full mount you're
no dude yeah i'll try that i've done that before let's see okay okay yeah yeah i'm in a minute to survive
what did you just say yeah i'll try to you is that full mount uh you want full mount you want
Okay, full mount, full mount.
Yeah, I'll try that, I haven't done that before, let's see.
Okay.
I'll try that.
I haven't done that before, we'll see.
I assume he means, we'll see, like, we'll see if I can submit you from bottom in one mount, but he's definitely worked from bottom mount, like, he's definitely worked from bottom mount, like, being mounted before.
Like, what?
Okay.
See, immediately, JJ has no understanding of why top mount is advantageous.
There's no pressure in the backside of his legs, there's no pressure with his feet, there's no, there's no,
chest to chest pressure he's way too far up all mighty mouse really has to do is bucket hips
that's it
jay jay jays had no immediately
from side control into the arm bar yikes this would a yo it's a crazy pause jj's had no idea
immediately now mighty mouse doesn't really buck his hips he immediately goes after
His left leg so he gets to his side which is pretty standard
He doesn't buck his hips to get there because he might think if I buck my hips
JJ might put his hand down and I can get to his arm whatever these immediately goes after the the the lead leg
Roll
side control immediately isolate the or any
Superiors you want to get choked out oh my
light work dude put it on a t-shirt man is
Twerking on his head whilst holding his limb sparing him a break
God, okay fair fair okay
Holy shit
He got to tea bags on
I'm a trick I'm a little I'm not that good
How long was that?
DJ saying I'm not that good shut up yeah right
It felt like he was twice my weight
It felt like I had Eddie Who on me
I did it made no sense you
was just so much stronger than me, but I'm a strong guy and he was making me weak. I felt
useless. There's a difference between weightlifting strength and grappling strength. I forgot the
terminology for it, but it's like useful strength versus like measured strength. You wouldn't look at
DJ and think he could bench press 225 or squat 300, but it doesn't really matter because
the strength he has for grappling and for, you know, manipulating position.
and, you know, looking for submissions, all that
is far greater than anything you can experience
by lifting a weight up and putting it down.
Unless you're somebody like Eddie Hall
or Thor Bjornson or those guys who are so strong,
it's like out of this world strong
that they can legitimately lock up some kind of neck crank
that has no technique and pop your head off.
You know what I'm saying?
Let's do it.
All right.
Fine, fine.
Go.
Because I use your arms, buddy.
Why is you trying to ride him like a bull?
Look at it.
What?
He does he just think he can use his legs? Look he's like riding him like he's a bull
Use your arms hold on to him under hook
You're good, you can do you can do this for a living no
You have some more
That's a mom boy
I thought so that 20 seconds or 17? Yeah, that's a bit quicker a little bit quicker
No, no I want to try and survive the minute we can do this
Okay, okay? I'll leave you survive a little longer okay, okay, no no no so reset
Reset.
Yeah, yeah.
So how long was that?
17 seconds.
To 28 seconds.
10 seconds?
11 seconds.
Did you ever reset this?
Yes.
But you're not trying.
Try to survive.
Yeah, try.
That's another thing I was going to say.
Like KSI is kind of like not, I don't know, maybe he is trying to survive.
He doesn't look like he's trying to survive.
He's trying to like make a video and all that, but like actually try.
He's just doing stuff.
That is true.
That is true.
Okay.
I'll try to let you survive and just see how your body moves on it.
One.
Okay, cool. Okay.
Okay. You can hold me down? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Well, that's what I'm trying to do.
That is.
Use all of your body. Boom, boom. Go. Okay, there we go. That's a little, okay, I don't know about this position.
This man hit him with the cuddle, dude. He hit him with the cuddle, son.
Easy sweep. There is. Ah, oh, look that easy sweep off one foot.
KSI doesn't post with his other arm either.
DJ sweeps fairly easily with his left foot, pushes off the ground.
KSI is holding on for dear life.
Should use this hand to post on the ground and stop DJ from sweeping him.
He's literally attached to him.
Like a fucking front-facing backpack.
KSI has no idea what he's doing.
That's why he's found.
No.
He's here.
Wait.
He tried to get, here we go.
Get to a hip, KSI.
Uh-oh.
Oh, anyone, this one's your arms.
Let's go those way.
What kind of choke is this?
Oh my God.
It's gonna hurt a little bit, but you'll be fine.
Here we goes.
You good?
Yeah.
Easy.
Holy-God.
Okay.
All right, let's do some film study breakdown here.
So KSI, they've got in full guard.
DJ's immediately gonna get rid of the legs.
Get into half guard.
He's already pinned.
One of KSai has an underhook here, but he doesn't know what to use it.
He's got an underhook.
He needs to get to it.
hip frame with it.
Wait.
Instead, he gives up essentially everything in one moment.
And now the underhook works against him.
How you want this?
This way.
Because now he's going to use it as an arm triangle.
Let's go this way.
What kind of choke is this?
What a fucking triangle?
Again, KSI even here, nice little triangle choke.
KSI starts kind of just like flailing about.
If he would drive his hips and his feet into the ground and buck here, he could get DJ off.
That choke is this?
You know, he's just kind of flailing.
about with his lower body.
It's gonna hurt a little bit, but you'll be fine.
He doesn't know to try to stack DJ there either,
which is another thing he could do is try to stack DJ's own weight on top of himself.
Try to not let him, I mean, you'll still get that triangle,
but hopefully it'll alleviate it some to where you can start working on getting the legs free off of you.
You're good?
That's a rough one, though.
Triangles are nasty.
I don't know if you...
You don't have a lot of time.
Once it's locked up, you do not have a lot of time before the freaking darkness starts closing in.
Cool.
You're not referring you, you wouldn't be this close?
No, no, no, no.
Well, we gotta do the thing.
Oh, okay, here you go.
Okay, there you go.
Okay, cool.
Let's go.
I got to get you?
Yeah.
What do my hands going to be, bud?
Oh, he's got to be fat.
You see, if we're boxing, you know, I gotta make you stop, I got to hit.
I truly believe KSI is doing this for content.
But then again, I gotta remember that he doesn't have any grappling experience.
I'm telling you all right now.
now dude again I'm not trying to toot my own horn I'm lasting a minute I look at it
like you would treat this like someone's attacking you you would fight arms
fight hands you know I think he tried it like I would try to treat this like life
and death but I think he's doing it more like to be like oh content you know okay
ready again all right boom go oh see you a dumb ass you're
good oh nice sweet look at this man yeah what's the what's the cater roll there we're doing
That's the worst thing you could do.
10 seconds.
Here, how about this?
New game.
New game.
You try to get up.
There we go.
That's what I want to see.
Let JJ try to get to his feet.
No submissions.
Because this is getting embarrassing.
Just DJ tries to hold JJ down.
In a real life scenario, unless you are a trained grappler.
One of the hardest things to do is to get someone off of you.
If you've been knocked down, if you slipped and fell and they're trying to hurt.
And that person most likely is not a trained grappler, so they're trying to throw punches and just stay, you know, in your face.
Okay.
You want to speculate up.
There you go.
And get on your toes, right?
Oh, get your hips off the ground.
Now put your weight on me.
There we go.
Okay.
That's KS size weight.
Okay.
Okay.
That's how you hold somebody down.
Okay.
Right?
But when you're putting your hips on the ground, then the ground is carrying your weight, not me.
Right?
Oh, okay.
So that's why, you know, when you're even on the mount, you're not putting your weight on me.
You're kind of like getting it to the ground where I can just move.
Okay.
So that's why I'm able to move so easily.
Okay.
But when you put your weight on me, put your weight on me.
There we go.
Now I have to, you know, I can still get out, but I have to work harder to get out.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
So 20 seconds.
20 seconds from here?
From here.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay, because I'm gonna get on your face now.
I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say that.
Okay.
Okay, I have to get you walking, all right?
Okay, understood.
All right, I'm gonna go.
That means, KSI, bury your fucking head
in his chest right now.
That's what that means.
Are you ready?
You're not doing it.
Go.
There we go.
That's what he needs to do.
Perfect.
That's better.
But again, the explosion's crazy.
This is why I don't look at that frame right here.
This is how he uses it.
Instead of getting hand underneath.
It goes frame here.
Fuck with the hips and I'm out.
This is why I don't like
side control though. This is why I was surprised DJ said side control instead of half guard.
Because he can't really defend against DJ's hips or his legs or anything. I think KSI again would be
better off posting right here. But at this point he's already lost the position. Because now we're
hips and now we're essentially 50-50 on your side on your side.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Dons is off. Now I'm so going to chuck you up.
Triangle. Beautiful.
Right. So your your feet went like I could feel right.
You try to get up. Get up. Get me off you.
Yeah, he goes from half guard. Let's see.
Be off you. Hips. No, other hips. Don't just squirm.
You fucking try and try. I want you to try.
Not your arms.
I'm sticking.
I'm locking my arms.
That's how you can bitch.
That's all you can bitch.
Go!
Come on now.
What was that sound?
There and out.
Yeah.
Hips, hips, hips, hips.
Yes.
Right, and then now I'm going to keep on, hanging on, hanging on,
hanging on.
Put that there.
Not an effort.
He actually tried him.
I'm proud.
So like when he gets him to this position where he's able to somehow just muscle him off him.
JJ needs to immediately get on his left hip.
He's still on it, he's still flat on his back and has nothing to push off of.
See there, man, you're trying.
Yeah.
He just doesn't know yet.
So he's still trying to fight directly off his back.
And then now I'm going to keep on just hanging on, hanging on, hanging on, hanging on.
Push that there.
And I'm gonna, shoot you.
Notice how DJ leads with his chest too with all this?
Hang on.
Push that.
When he gets the grips back, he leads with his chest
because he's framing on,
or he's trying to frame on DJ's shoulder.
He leads with his chest and drives his feet into the ground,
chucks him off, boom, we're right back.
Here.
You actually tried.
I'm proud.
Mind you, JJ, do this one-handed.
Okay, buddy.
Let's not, okay.
Let's try some striking.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
So I've never experienced a kick in my life.
Okay.
Well, maybe I have for my brother.
But I've never had a professional kick me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I'm thinking.
I'm not going to kick you hard.
Okay.
Give me a percentage of.
I'm going to give you.
I'm going to show you what it feels like.
Okay.
I'm going to show you and I'm going to show you what I'm supposed to do.
Okay.
Make sense?
So when I go on the pad.
That's all this.
Okay.
But imagine.
Holy shit.
You didn't have all that that weight there.
I mean, assuming the pads there.
Yeah, but I could still feel it.
You can do it a little harder.
Oh my goodness.
I just a little.
I just like, give me a percentage of what that was.
That was like maybe two, three?
Three percent.
Okay, so I'm not kicking you.
I'm just going to, I'm just going to motion like this.
I'm just going to the motion.
That's how I'm doing.
I'm not turning my hips.
This is three.
Yeah, he's really not turning his hips over at all.
Just literally swinging the leg.
That's so nuts, man.
What you said?
Yeah, this is like.
This is like warm out like pop, pop, pop.
Oh, my.
This is why guys end up breaking their
legs and wrapping it around somebody
because they kick so hard, dude.
Give me 5%.
Okay, so this is sense.
That's three, so here's five.
Okay, that was, what the fuck is 100?
The hundred is fucking, I'm going.
I die.
And you'll die, I die, I die.
I die.
Guys, I want to say, I'll say that's probably 10%,
maybe 15%,
It's hard to get it because when I'm here, I'm just moving.
I'm not even trying to hit hard.
I'm just, ba, bop, bop, boom.
Bhab, bop, bop, bop, boom.
All right.
I'll let me.
Here, here's a good kick.
Yeah, okay.
I look like 5%.
He looked like he sped up a tad bit more.
It's just gonna be a good kick.
Yep, so that's a good kick.
Okay, yeah, okay.
And that's as far as I'll go.
Wow.
Holy shit.
And then imagine, imagine we're going, we're fighting.
I'm ba-ba-ba-ba.
Well, I'm just doing that over and over again.
Over and over.
Oh, my God.
And hitting the same spot over and over again.
Like, I only feel like...
You know what it is, too?
It's like, think about in boxing terms how you set up your punches.
You're one and then you're one-two.
When you throw the one-two, your jab the second time around is not going to be as forceful as it was.
The first time around as it was in a single shot.
So you use it to get to the two.
Then the one, two, three.
The one and the two set up the three.
And then you add kicks, dude.
So you're throwing comments.
combinations and maybe the last punch of that combination meant to hurt, but
realistically that you're throwing your three or four punch combo to set up the
kick dog and the kick is the big power shot you're waiting to throw that
is horrifying bro. I'm sorry man. I was showing him out a kick like
MVP has aura by the way. I'm 32 years old saying this but when he walked in the room it was like oh shit the man
Here you feel me before JJ came around the best I would say prospect to star
athlete that shoot fighters has produced as MVP you know without him that name
London shoot it's got some some good fighters they they helped with Derek
Chazora's career a little bit but without him that that gym doesn't have the name it
it would have all right I should get one kick without the pad
oh yeah no no no no you both it you don't need it no just one little
I'll do this one for you really does not need it yeah we'll do a little
One little path.
Let me let me actually feel it.
Hey, touch it.
That's hard it.
You know.
You like that.
Oh my god.
What the fuck, bro.
Holy shit.
Yeah.
You can have him with you as well.
What the fuck?
What the f f.
What percentage was that?
I'm maybe like one, two?
Get out of here, man.
That one didn't even look like DJ tried.
It's just instant deadly.
Hit him like right in the middle of his shin too,
like the strongest part of his shin,
right at the freaking middle of his thigh.
Boom.
That video is dope.
This was a very fun link up.
KSI gets to experience what grappling feels like.
I don't think that we'll be seeing him on the mats rolling anytime.
soon, but DJ once again, killing it in the, uh, in the combat sports content space.
Taking all the trips, linking up with all the creators that we want to see.
The sick idea, sick video.
I wish I would have done it first, man.
Not that I would be able to do any of what DJ was saying, but like training with DJ
would have been cool, bro, and I tried to do it last year and we couldn't get it done.
But nonetheless, fire video.
And the offer is out there, by the way.
I've said it.
and I'm sticking by it, I will last at least one minute if DJ wants to grapple.
$1,000 on the line.
I'm lasting more than one minute.
Let me know what y'all think down in the comments below.
KSI grappling DJ was a nightmare, but not in the way he normally is.
What happens next for KSI?
Is he going to fight anytime soon?
Is DJ going to collab with Tom Aspinall next?
Who knows?
Guess we'll find out.
