We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.

Welcome in episode 425.
This episode of What's Right with Nick Ride
is presented to you by our friends at Boost Mobile.
A reminder to everyone, help us out,
like, rate, subscribe, review.
This is our final NFL gambling show
of the 2025 season.
Super Bowl prop show and we will also have our final game pick of the year for the Super
Bowl and you know what let's get right to it it's time for Nick's picks presented to
you by Hard Rock Bet all right de Manze this postseason I have not been great you have been
exceptional my postseason record is four and eight your postseason record is eight and
four for the Super Bowl I am laying the point
with Seattle minus four and a half against New England.
I believe this is a 2717 Seahawks victory.
Not a comfortable, not an easy win, but semi-comfortable,
where Seattle has maybe a 2414 lead going into the fourth quarter
and hangs on for a 27-17 win.
Sam Darnold, the last two years, has been a covering machine,
25 and 11 against the spread, and in his career,
when he's a four or more point favorite, 11 and 5 against the spread and 15 and 1 straight up,
I just, as we talked about a lot in yesterday's show,
I think the Mike McDonald defense historically has given young quarterbacks a ton of trouble,
has given every quarterback the first time they face him, a ton of trouble,
I think this Patriots offensive line is in relatively rough shape
in its matchup against the Seahawks D line.
Now, Wednesday night, Thursday morning,
we did get word of the Seahawks rookie Do It All Safety, Nickyman Worry,
suffered an ankle injury.
I do not like that.
He is a very important chess piece to that defense,
but I've got to imagine that the tort all shots will be fast and free flowing before the Super Bowl and he will play.
It is not enough to move me off the pick. Seattle minus four and a half.
DeMonse, what say you?
I'm going to take New England and the points.
I think that Seattle, go ahead.
No, I was going to, I want to hear it. Go ahead.
I think Seattle is going to jump on them early.
but at the end of the game, I think it's going to be pretty close.
Like with Vrable, I like, I like Vrable a lot, and I do think that he will be able to coach them into,
I think that they're outmatched, but I think that he'll be able to coach them into a close game,
but I do think the Patriots will lose.
Oh, so you, so just so you know, your pick of a Seattle win and Patriots cover,
while it's only happened once in the last 15 years, but the team that covered didn't win.
But again, that's a little misleading in that.
Obviously, every time an underdog wins outright, they cover.
So you take out the nine times the underdogs won the last 15 years.
That just means that with the six favorites that covered, or that won, five them covered.
The one that didn't, however, was a four and a half point spread.
It was Rams minus four and a half against the Bengals when the Rams won by three.
also the sharps like your side of things.
The sharp money is on Rams,
I'm sorry, Seattle to win, New England to cover.
And now with that said,
do not America
parlay these picks together
because you're not going to get fair value on.
The bet essentially is the Seahawks to win
by one, two, three, or four is what that, you know, the Seahawks win and Patriots cover.
That's going to pay you around plus 400.
That's don't, don't do that.
There's smarter, better ways to make a bet, but I do, where you're at DeMonsie is you're
on the sharp side of both the money line, the sharp money, even laying, all you have to lay is
on Seattle and the point spread, the sharp money is on New England plus the four and a half.
However, today's show is less about our game pick and more about our props picks.
So we'll get to those in just a second.
But a reminder that today's show is brought to you by our presenting sponsor, Hard Rock Bet, Florida Sportsbook.

All right, DeMonse, I gave everybody my favorite prop bet last week.
Trayvion Henderson under three and a half receiving yards and minus 120.
I just don't, he's not involved in passing plays.
And so I understand that seems like a crazy bet to be my favorite bet.
That's my favorite one.
But we've got a bunch of others.
So there's two anytime touchdowns,
bets I like tell America.
So you like Kenneth Walker at minus 200 for,
oh, okay, for minus 200.
And you can also get it for two plus two plus touchdowns for plus 260.
Not doing that.
And you also like Cooper Cup at plus 260?
Yes.
So I think Kenneth Walker is going to score and the minus 200 price says,
you know, Vegas obviously agrees with me on it.
I also think in the red zone that,
all the attention that is going to be demanded by Injigba could open things up for Cooper Cup.
And because of that, I like Cooper Cup at plus 260.
There are the Injigba minus 110.
I could see Injigba having a big game and not scoring a touchdown.
And so Kenneth Walker, I would be stunned if he doesn't score.
And Cooper Cup, I think there's good value at plus 260.
oddly, my favorite anytime touchdown bet, however,
is not one of the Seahawks.
It's one of the Patriots.
And it would have known Drake May at plus 275.
So here's why.
Pass interference, defensive holding, anything in the end zone
that places the ball at the one,
the Patriots will do a quarterback snake.
So there's that.
Drake May has been excellent these playoffs running the ball.
Seattle's defense, the one place it's really susceptible is quarterback scrambles.
And I think Drake's going to be under duress in running the football.
And at plus 275, I really like a Drake May rushing touchdown.
Whether it's a quarterback scramble, a QB designed run or a QB sneak.
I like Drake plus 275 to score a touchdown.
To score two touchdowns is 30 to 1.
That's too much for me.
But one touchdown plus 275.
All right, those are all of our touchdown props.
Now, quarterback-related props, first one.
You got the over on Sam Donald's Passyards.
It's over 232 and a half at minus 115.
Yeah, so.
Let me just say something about Super Bowl prop markets, guys.
If you can lean into two-way markets,
and by two-way markets, I mean where you can bet yes and no,
or over and under.
The problem with one-way markets is when you can only bet one side of it,
you don't ever really know what the fair number is.
when they set Sam Darnold or any of these other ones we're about to give you over the next 10 minutes or so,
when you can bet the over or under and it's the same number, you're just paying the 15 cent juice.
You know that is the fair number.
Now, you might not like the 15 cent juice, but at least you know that's the real number.
And so that's going to inform a lot of my picks here.
and I think
Darnold's going to have a good game.
I think Darnold is going to,
I think the Pats run defense is stiff enough
that they will be able to slow down Kenneth Walker
and Seattle's going to have to succeed through the air.
And because of that,
I like Darnold to have at least 245 passing yards.
So I will go over 232.5.
And he's coming off the best game of his career
in the biggest spot,
I think Darnold's going to play well.
I just give him credit for what he did
in that conference championship game.
I'll take the over there.
I'm not touching Drake May's total of 223 and a half.
I leaned under on that
because I think the pads are going to be trailing
and have to throw, well, let me, sorry.
I leaned under because
I think the Seahawks past defense
is going to be ferocious.
But I stayed away because
if I'm right that the pads are trailing late and have to throw, it can get inflated, so I stayed away.
I did, though, bet a different Drake May prop in the touchdown market. Demandze, what is it?
Drake May under one and a half passing touchdowns at minus 160.
So again, this is a two-way market, but the juice is obviously heavy on the under,
and you get plus 120 on the over.
if I think the Patriots are going to score less than 21 points,
and I think Drake May can run in a touchdown,
we don't have enough room for more touchdowns there.
So it's a little correlated,
but I think that the Patriots are more likely to score on the ground
than in the air against this Seattle defense.
Hell, we saw how much trouble Stafford had in the red zone,
you know, on their biggest drive of the season,
trying to convert that third and four and then fourth and four
to go ahead there. So I'll take under Drake May there. I'm staying away from both interception
markets. The over for Drake May or Sam Darnold to throw a pick is minus 150 for Drake,
minus 135 for Darnold. I think they both throw a pick, but I don't want to lay that type of juice.
However, related to the Darnold over passing yards, Darnold's completion prop, D'A Monse.
Sam Darnold over 19 and a half completions at minus 135.
Yeah, so I just, I think it's going to be a lot of Darnold passes, not necessarily deep passes, but a lot of Darnold passes, something like a 24 of 33 game from him.
So I think he's going to get plenty of opportunities, so I will take the over there.
And now we're done with our quarterback props.
And D'Amazzi is going to give his five favorite props at the end.
let's go to our rushing and receiving props.
So rush yards as Seahawks, Rashid,
you've got over four and a half at minus 115.
A little jet sweep.
Jet sweep, end around,
or for the same.
And I also, so I have Rashid sheeatheed over four and a half at minus 115.
I also have Jackson Smith and Jigba over a half at plus two seven.
So this is a tricky one, De Manzay, the Jackson Smith and Jigba.
But this could apply to Shaheed as well.
I think one of these guys is going to catch a wide receiver reverse.
A wide receiver screen.
No, you had it.
When they throw it backwards and they look at it, it was thrown backwards.
Exactly.
And so I don't think Injigba is going to be handed the ball.
and this is going to where I'm going to need the official
scorekeeper to determine was that a lateral
because then it's called rushing yards
I think one of them I think it
Rashid could you know get it on an end around
Rashid or in Jigba could get a pass that goes backwards
So I'll take away one of your completions
Yeah no that is true you're a hundred and right
It would take away completion for Darnold
Um so I think in Jigba plus 275 over a half
yards worth a flyer.
And then I've got a Sam Darnold rushing prop.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.

We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Under 6.5 at minus 115.
So why do you think I'm betting that?
You think that Donald's going to be kneeling at the end?
Yes.
Correct.
So I think that as long as he doesn't.
How often does he scramble anyways?
Not much.
Right.
So as long as he doesn't have more than 10 yards rushing, I'm live because he can lose yards on the news.
Now, Mahomes famously in one of his Super Bowls lost 17.
yards on his final three kneel downs and ruined everybody.
But so I think I think Darnold, it's certainly on the board.
Darnold ends the game with zero yards rushing.
I'm sorry, with negative yards rushing, that he never scrambles and that he just takes
knees at the end, but I'll take the under six and a half that can be live even if the
over hits.
Now for the Patriots, there is only one rushing prop I like.
It's also a quarterback-related one.
It's a big one.
You like Drake May over 37 and a half at minus 120.
Yeah, I just think he's going to have to be running a lot in this game.
And I think Seattle's susceptible to it.
That is a huge number for a quarterback.
And then minus 1-20.
Yeah, a little juice, minus 1-10 on the under, so a little juice on the over.
But I like Drake May to have 45.
50 rushing yards and I'm not worried, you know, about him taking knees at the end.
So I'll lay that big number.
All right, receiving yards.
You got on the Seahawks side, Rashid Shaheed at over 22 and a half at minus 115.
Yeah, I think one big Rashid catch.
Yeah.
You know, I think one explosive Rashid Shaheed play and, you know, I've been big on him all year.
15, 16 yards.
Like one more pass to him.
Right.
Which, by the way, I'm not sure.
or, you know, he's not going to be a huge part of their, you know, down to down attack,
but I think he could have one explosive reception.
So I'll take over there.
And then for the Patriots, there's one under and one over I like other than the
Travion under three and a half, which we already talked about.
So you like the under 27 and a half at minus 115 Mac Collins.
Sorry, for the receiving yards.
And so, and say the over.
Mario Douglas over 10 and a half at minus 115 as well.
So I just think Douglas is going to be a bigger part of the game playing than Matt Collins.
Douglas, who caught the big fourth down, touchdown, catch and run against Houston, was it?
That might have been, I don't know if that was Houston or if that was the Chargers, regardless.
Mac Collins had been out injured.
Mac Collins came back last week, caught the flea flicker.
I don't think Mac Collins is going to be a huge part of this game.
And I think Pop Douglas will make at least one catch.
So Pop Douglas, over 10 and a half.
Matt Collins, under 27 and a half.
Those are oddly a little correlated in my brain at least.
So that's where I land on that.
And now receptions props.
Receptions for Seahawks.
We got Kenneth Walker the 3rd at over two and over, under two and a half at plus 100.
Yeah, I just don't think that they're going to, he's going to have three catches.
I think that the Patriots linebackers have been pretty good this year covering running backs out of the backfield.
I think Kenneth Walker's more going to be used, you know, as a blocker and as an actual running back.
So I'll take under two and a half catches for him.
And then there are two Patriots.
I'm just going to go down with the Travion Henderson's not going to be involved in the passing game ship.
I'll take under a half reception for him at plus 140.
That is directly tied to my under three and a half receiving yards for him at minus 1.15.
I just don't think he's going to catch a pass.
And then what's the one over I have?
You got Stefan Diggs over four and a half at minus 125.
So I did not note notably, Diggs is receiving yards is only 45 and a half.
And I'm not betting that.
I am betting him over receptions.
And we have seen some games like this,
this year for Diggs, where his yards per reception, are super low.
Most notably in these playoffs, where the playoff game against Denver, five catches, 17 yards.
Playoff game against Houston, four catches, 40 yards.
Playoff game against the Chargers, two catches, 16 yards.
The, he has had.
plenty of
you know high
not high but medium volume
target games without a ton of yards to go
along with it so I feel more comfortable
in him hitting the at least five catches
than him hitting at least 50 yards
all right let's go to some of our defensive props
a couple guys I think are going to get a sack
yeah on the Seahawks side you've got
DeMarcus Lawrence over a half sack at plus
115 and then you got Leonard
Williams over a half sack at plus 150.
Yeah, listen, I think DeMarcus Lawrence is going to put Will Campbell in hell, and then eventually
they're going to have to cheat over and help him, and that'll open things up for Leonard
Williams.
Drake Mays taking five sacks in each of the three playoff games.
Those are the two guys most likely to get sacks for the Seahawks.
I'll take DeMarcus Lawrence and Leonard Williams.
I'm not playing any kicker-related props.
I thought about will Boragallis miss a field goal, decided to stay away from that,
and then I have one team total prop I like.
Yeah, so you like the Patriots under 18 and a half points at 115.
Yeah, I mean, if the, I'm just going to, my score prediction is 2717,
I'll just roll with the under because I'm getting a little bit of plus money on that,
and I have an extra point to play with.
The Seahawks, on the other hand, over 26 and a half, is only plus 105.
So that's not, I'm not getting a full point to play with from my score prediction,
and I'm not getting the extra 10 cents of juice.
So I'm staying away from that there.
Most passing yards prop de Monzae, it's basically a coin flip bet.
Drake Mays minus 115, Sam Darnold's minus 120.
As you guys can tell from how I think it's going to go, I like Donald in that spot.
and then one long shot flyer, DeMonzei, longest reception.
Player to record the longest reception, Rashid Shaheed at Plus 700.
Listen, that's what he was brought in to do.
He's done it already throughout his brief Seattle career.
I think seven to one's a good bet.
Jackson Smith and Jigma could blow this up on me.
Kisham Bouti could blow this up on me,
but I'll take Rashid Shahid at plus.
700.
Oh, I lied to you guys.
I am doing one field goal-related prop,
which is longest successful field goal over under a 49 and a half.
I'll go over.
Good conditions.
Jason Myers is a very good kicker.
Andy Boragallis has been very good from 50 plus,
better from 50 plus than he's been from 40 to 40.
49. So I think that they will attempt, you know, each team will attempt a 50 plus yarder.
I think at least one of them will make it. So I will take the over there.
And then two of my favorites, DeMonsei, in the miscellaneous section, if you scroll down,
the, do you, so these are probably my two favorite vets.
and they're both plus money.
So you got each team to record
one plus successful fourth down conversion
at plus 125 and then players.
So let me hold on.
Let me stay there.
So Vrable is going to go for fourth in shorts.
Seattle's a little more conservative.
I think they will as well.
And it's crazy that this is now a plus,
this is only plus 125.
And I say that because it's shown how much the NFL's evolved and changed over the last decade,
where it's not, they're basically saying it's damn near a coin flip,
whether or not both teams will convert a fourth down.
But I think they both will, so I'll do that.
And my favorite bet every Super Bowl, it's just the most fun bet to have action on.
Total number of players to throw a pass over two and a half.
at plus 160.
So this is
the
the
bummer way
you can win this bet
is a quarterback
gets dinged up.
And then you're just locked in
to a win because the back of quarterback
has to come in.
But that's not why we bet it.
We bet it because
it means any trick play,
fake punt,
anything like that, you win.
And Josh McDaniels
loves him some trick plays.
I wonder if the Seahawks will try to match it.
It's just such a fun bet over two and a half for the over two and a half people to attempt to pass.
And listen, my Super Bowl MVP pick is going to be Darnold, but that's such a boring one.
It's plus 125.
Like I didn't even really include that.
I'm not going to bet that.
But that is my pick.
All right, DeMonze's props coming up in just a second.
But first, you ever notice how everything's going up, rents going up,
streaming services going up, your favorite burrito spots charging you extra for salza?
Not with Boost Mobile.
With Boost Mobile, you and your phone build on, Flay the will this go up soon game?
Why?
Because Boost Mobile has unlimited.
Talk, Tex and data plan at a price that will never go up.
In fact, it's the same price you'll pay for life.

All right, DeMonsei, tell me your five props and why?
So Cooper Cup, most reception yards at plus 1,300.
Wow.
Jackson Smith and Jigua, I understand he's more likely to have the bigger game.
But it was like minus 190 or something like that.
Yeah.
And I think Cooper Cup, he's been in a Super Bowl before.
It's not totally outlanders.
He won't Super Bowl MVP.
Exactly. I don't think it's totally outlandish that he ends up with the most reception yards and at plus 1,300 with that juice.
I love it. I love. I mean, that's a fun one at 13 to 1. All right, next.
Sam Darnold under 232 and a half passing yards at minus 120.
Wow. My heart. Yeah, I just, I don't think he's going to. I think he will throw right around that, but I don't think he will throw over. I think there will be a mistake.
I don't know. Maybe penalties leading to less yardage. But I just.
I don't see him throwing for that amount of yards.
Okay.
And Stefan Diggs to catch on New England's first drive at plus 130.
I mean, hopefully it's not a lightning bet.
I was going to say, yeah, this can be, this is a stone loser earlier,
100%.
And I just think Drake may, he's got to throw it to Diggs in his first couple
throws.
One of the more reliable receivers on the team, I guess.
But, but yeah.
Kenneth Walker anytime touchdown at minus 200.
Probably the most simple one on here.
And then Seattle minus five and a half at the first half at plus 125.
Oh.
Yeah, I think Seattle.
Yeah, I have Seattle minus the five and a half in New England plus the four and a half for the spread.
So that might be worth parlaying just because I think the odds on that would be sick.
Right.
Like Seattle minus five and a half in the first half plus 125 parlayed with New England plus four and a half.
I mean, that's so anti-correlated that you might get a sick pay out on that.
But okay.
All right.
I like those five.
And you have a bonus one, I'm told.
Bonus.
Hey, man.
I don't have inside info or anything.
The Gatorade color is going to be yellow, green, or lime this year.
And that's at plus 275.
That's a little fun one for you guys.
Love it.
It's going to be lime green.
That parlay would be plus 856.
Seattle minus 5.5th, New England to cover at plus 856 is pretty fun.
That's better than Seattle to win New England to cover.
Like this is at plus 400.
That's fun.
All right.
Annual tradition demands A, the offer.
It's Super Bowl, so you know what time it is.
The offer is any player going to record an octopus.
this year at plus 1400 are you going to accept it this year so i never knew what an octopus was i
thought the producers made it up and i made fun of you guys and then somebody jail and hurts did it
yeah the uh is i think how i remember it no i'm not accepting it no no one's going to do it i will
go down yeah i will be drugged down to the bottom of the ocean by the octopus i'm not betting the
octopus.
So I'm going to say no.
That is a fun.
I didn't ever even knew what that was prior to a couple
Super Bowls ago.
All right.
This was a great year of gambling shows.
Everyone, enjoy the Super Bowl.

Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast. Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to us. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people
questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to
put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcast. Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL, late
night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob
Odenkirk to David Letterman help make
you funnier. This week, my guest,
SNL's Mikey Day and head writer
Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between
songs banter. Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Last night, a blown call changed a game.
This morning, the internet lost its mind,
and nobody's telling you exactly what happened.
That's where Sports Slice comes in.
I'm Timbo, and every episode,
we're cutting through the noise,
breaking down the biggest moments in sports
and giving you the real story behind the headline.
And we're going straight to the source,
the athletes themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment, and the stuff nobody gets to hear.
