Hi, this is Jeff Kavans, and I just got back from Israel and wanted to give you a little bit of an update. A little bit of jet lag, but I'm fine. And I'm going to be doing my 100th show next week, and I'm really excited about it. And I've got to be honest, you guys have really played a role in the show as far as iTunes and Google Play rankings. I don't know if it's contests, drawings, I guess you could say. But one of the things that I have really, you know, realized over this last year and a half or so doing these weekly shows is how important you are to the show. And, you know, I've been thinking about this for a long time, about living the life of a modern-day disciple, the activated disciple.

And after you read the book, we're inviting you to go on a journey with us for 40 days to put what you learn in the book into practice and act like a modern-day disciple. locally in the Twin Cities I've been teaching a couple of courses eight-week courses on the activated disciple and to be honest with you I have not had this kind of response in a course

for a long for a long time and that's saying a lot because we've had quite a few different courses throughout the year as a great adventure and walking toward eternity and so forth

but we struck on something here we're striking a chord I think with you and that is you know I love learning about the faith. But how do I live this? How do I craft a life? What's the shape of the day of a disciple? As I just got back from Israel, I was with wonderful people, wonderful people. And this was the theme of our trip, really becoming an activated disciple. And I can tell you from

the response that I received from them, I think we are onto something. And that is, we're moving to the next step. We're going beyond simply learning the faith. And we're living the faith. And I am so honored to do that with you because I, too, am trying to be an activated disciple. So I look forward to next week. I've got a great show for you, the 100th show, and we will reveal the winners of those three books.
