Starting point is 00:00:00 Remember that half the country right now still feels that way. Please remember that. Remember that for the first time in the history of America, the life expectancy of white people is dropping. New Japan! Because of suicide. All these white people out there that feel that anguish, that pain, that mad because they think nobody cares.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Maybe they don't. Let me tell you something. I know how that feels. I promise you, I know how that feels. You're a police officer. And every time you put your uniform on, you feel like you've got a target on your back. You're appalled by the ingratitude that people have
Starting point is 00:00:42 when you would risk your life to save them. Oh, man, believe me. Believe me. I know how that feels. Everyone knows how that feels. But here's the difference between me and you. You guys hate each other for that. And I don't hate anybody. I just hate that feeling. That's what I fight for. That's what I suggest you fight for. You got to find a way to live your life. You got to find a way to forgive each other. You got to find a way to find joy in your existence in spite of that feeling. And if you can't do that

Starting point is 00:02:42 I know, but I mean, oh, Jesus. I don't know why this song feels even more appropriate with white people fighting throughout the streets. Why does that equate to black love for me? Because that's all we were doing in the house. I was rocking in the house. Look at the whites. Hey! Hey!
Starting point is 00:03:08 Hey! I was jamming while the whites was going crazy. Finally some redemption, right? Hey. And they said

Starting point is 00:05:34 Yeah, nigga. See, I fight that. I still disagree. I don't think this is deluxe version yet. What the fuck is that? Rory, why do I have to hear you swallowing on the microphone? Pause. We can hear that. we're erasing that um where's that let's get right to it i'm resisting that i'm i'm not saying that this is the deluxe i think this is like what do you call it indian
Starting point is 00:05:57 summer when summer's over but it's like still hot and like that could potentially be racist i don't know if we should say it like that sounds racist is that racist it might be i don't know we don't even know what to say anymore everything is racist now god damn well no because yeah they told me i grew up uh they taught me growing up that when you say crisscross applesauce it's called indian style and then that later i had to choose me that that might indeed be racist okay well this is the deluxe you say the deluxe is that politically correct so far so far all right so this is the 2020uxe, you say? The deluxe. Is that politically correct? So far. So far? All right. So this is the 2020 deluxe right here.
Starting point is 00:06:27 What has the week done to y'all? What has the first week of 2021 done to any of you? Honestly, it's preparing me for another long year, honestly. Just looking at this, I'm like, okay, it's a new year As far as the month But It's a lot of remnants Left over from last year That I think we're gonna Deal with at least
Starting point is 00:06:51 Until halfway through this year Wait before we just Dive right in and tackle Some of this stuff I wanna shout out to Cash App The app that Empowers us
Starting point is 00:07:00 Inspires us Enables us Empowers us Tolerates us Deals with us empowers us tolerates us deals with us deals with our shit shout out to the greatest app in the world
Starting point is 00:07:08 Cash App keeps the hussies comfortable you already know but the hussies love when they get that little alert they love sending a request too oh yeah yeah yeah in case you forgot
Starting point is 00:07:19 just you know reminding I pound on the decline with emphasis I impact the decline why are you requesting that's against the rule um so yeah we shouted out cash app i want to shout out to our first and last time listeners uh shout out to our day one listeners uh shout out to everybody else that might be listening out there wherever you're from all over the world we welcome you this is a safe unsafe space uh i also want to tell a quick story, something I noticed last week, because the week was jam-packed with shit, if you guys don't mind, before we get into the meat and potato things.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I love a story. Last week at the pod, I got out for a bathroom break. Before I went in the bathroom just to occupy some time, I took two darts off the board and I threw one. I threw one and it hit the ceiling somewhere, the wall off the board. I then threw the second one. It was a direct bullseye immediately. Never seen such velocity. All of you didn't stop what you were doing.
Starting point is 00:08:20 You just continued to talk and casually have conversations eat chips eat food like text and you know what it said to me we don't appreciate your biggest accomplishment like y'all y'all have been around my greatness for so long you're unfazed okay i see why you say that like y'all didn't even bat an eye I still did that's what's up I know cause he dare not touch it with his white fingers yeah I know looks good it's sitting there
Starting point is 00:08:49 proud of you I'll leave it y'all didn't think y'all didn't think about that y'all didn't think that was odd like taking myself out of that I would have been
Starting point is 00:08:58 blown away if somebody just before before they went in the bathroom just threw a bullseye nobody not a it's not that rare it was it's 2021 man Somebody just, before they went in the bathroom, just threw a bullseye. Nobody. 2020. It's not that rare.
Starting point is 00:09:08 It's 2021, man. In the game of darts, you hit bullseyes. Look at this big black felon. No. No, I shot mad shit. I bet you did. What the fuck is he? No.
Starting point is 00:09:21 All right. Hey, Rory. They're not impressed. That's a great shot. They're not impressed. It's fine. Rory's not impressed either. I can't believe that.
Starting point is 00:09:32 It's great that you can play darts. Wow. I don't think we did an audio check. What do you think about this? No, I said, what do you think about this, nigga? Not my performance. My performance? That was a performance. You're performance? That was a performance.
Starting point is 00:09:47 You're right. That was a performance. All right, don't worry about it. It's a really quick show. Yeah, it's a quick show. Grand opening, grand closing to the bathroom. I mean, when you bullseye on the second dart. Yeah, it was so casual.
Starting point is 00:09:57 The way you did it was so, it was just a casual to the bathroom type of thing. I was like, oh, that's what you do. Yeah, I did it like money ain't a thing. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So why would you, come on, man, act like you've been here before. Oh, those are the good old days
Starting point is 00:10:08 in rap when you could throw Jaguar in as the luxury car. You still can. Yeah, it's still a luxury car. It's a good car. No, you can't. Great car, actually. It is, but you cannot
Starting point is 00:10:17 say Jaguar in today's hip hop as the luxury car. Why not? You're going to sound like Wiz when he said, no keys, push the start. Wiz when he said, no keys. Push to start. Wiz.
Starting point is 00:10:27 My Saturn. My Saturn pushes to start. This is not a luxury thing. Jaguar is dope. My 2009 Mazda is push to start. Yeah. They're all great.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Nah, Jaguar's a good car. And I feel a way about that now. I feel a way that all of the family cars have all the luxury cars now. You need that though with a family car. You're just getting luxury cars for the name now. They're all luxury.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And I feel the way that the C-Class is now like 80 grand. It's a nice car, though. That's like when they... C-Class, yeah. See, even look at that. Even the perception of a C-Class has changed. The new C-Class is nice, though. Look, a nice car. It is. The new C-Class? I saw one of the nice AMG C-Cl is nice, though. Look, a nice car. It is. The new C-Class? I saw one
Starting point is 00:11:06 of the nice AMG C-Classes ride by, and my head turned, and then I seen the back and read it was a C-Class. I felt like such a thought. I'm like, oh my God. Why is a C-Class turning my head? It's still a nice car. It's a nice car. I mean, I wouldn't. It's more for a nice young lady.
Starting point is 00:11:22 You would buy one? No. For a girl? No for a girl? If I had a wife or something. If a girlfriend? Yeah, for sure. You answer everything like that. Can we stop that this year? I'm not buying that for just some girl
Starting point is 00:11:30 I'm just smashing. But that's all of our answers. If I had a wife, then of course I would. That ain't all of our answers. Well, if I had a wife, I would do that for her. That ain't all of our answers.
Starting point is 00:11:37 A lot of niggas is buying shit like that for girls they just met. Oh, that's what I'm trying to do too. No, yeah, no. That's what I'm saying. I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:11:43 I keep trying to meet a girl to do that with. That ain't hard. What you mean you keep trying? No, it's what I'm trying to do, too. No, yeah, no. That's what I'm saying. I don't do that. I keep trying to meet a girl to do that with. That ain't hard. What do you mean you keep trying? No, it's hard. What do you mean? Open your phone. It's open.
Starting point is 00:11:51 It's probably pretty easy to give a woman a Mercedes. Yeah, that's quick. You could just do that. No, she has to be tolerable. Damn, now I sound like a... Oh, now you put CeeLo. That'll never happen. What else you got to be?
Starting point is 00:12:02 See, tolerable. Go ahead, keep going. Yeah, keep going. You're going in the right way I'm at. Go ahead, keep going. Only in a room full of men can you say you gotta be see tolerable go ahead keep going yeah keep going you're going in the right way I'm at only in a room full of men can you say she needs to be tolerable
Starting point is 00:12:09 what does that mean why is that offensive it's real though it's honest though it's honest you can't say that to no woman nowhere why not
Starting point is 00:12:17 you need to be tolerable yeah fam I'm sure they say the same about us absolutely they can I'm sure I'm very
Starting point is 00:12:24 intolerable sometimes I think this is how I got stabbed saying some shit like that you know what you are intolerable tolerate this look what you stabbed by a woman I just don't
Starting point is 00:12:42 tolerate you look what gets you stabbed by a woman just a simple You're not very tolerable Hey Screamer I didn't need you to pull up the word tolerable To look it up for me but it's fine You can pull up what happened in Georgia That's how the week started See before all of this madness
Starting point is 00:12:58 I think that was the day We were recording or just finished recording It was The vote was Tuesday And then the results came in super late Tuesday I think that was the day we were recording or just finished recording. It was. Right? That's why we didn't touch that. The vote was Tuesday, and then the results came in, well, super late Tuesday. Well, depending on how you view things. 4 o'clock in the morning is Tuesday still to me. Got it.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Got it. We had to get a sound check on Rory. Rory, let's get a real clear damn daddy. Just to make sure your sound is good. Say damn daddy real clear. That's how we do it professionally, yeah. Or zaddy. You can say zaddy.
Starting point is 00:13:26 No, you old horny toad. Davey's a toad? He's definitely a horny toad. All right, so let's get right to it. As soon as we left the podcast, Georgia won, and I saw a mad Bob Ross memes painting Georgia blue. Oh, I didn't see those. Oh, I love that.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Rest in peace to one of the greatest ever. Oh, and rest in peace to Tommy Lasorda. Damn, Tommy Lasorda passed? Yes. Tommy Lasorda passed. Rest in peace.
Starting point is 00:13:56 The legend. The legend, absolutely. Diane Cullen, fucking man. How did Tommy Lasorda pass? Do we know? We never know immediately because they never tell us, right?
Starting point is 00:14:04 Yeah. And that's out of respect I wouldn't want people Telling people my business Immediately after I go Tommy Lasorda The Fury Hall of Fame manager Who got it
Starting point is 00:14:14 Heart failure How old was Tommy Lasorda? 93 Oh wow Go Tommy What a life Full life Rest in peace to Tommy man
Starting point is 00:14:22 You give me 93 of them things I'm dapping y'all up On the way out Heard you Especially the way he I mean he's a legend Yeah In baseball so
Starting point is 00:14:29 You know growing up You knew who Tommy Lasorda was Even if he wasn't a baseball fan Yeah That's just a name That you heard growing up It's time for baseball To lift the ban on my guy
Starting point is 00:14:39 P. Rose Come on man P. Rose Come on I think they close to it It's over now It's over now Better himself, too.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Like, who cares? Yeah, nobody cares about that shit. There's been so much bullshit with baseball. Like, you can let this one fly, man. And you can gamble on baseball now. Like, so I figure once that happens, it's like, what are we talking about? You can gamble on sports. He was ahead of his time.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Exactly. He was a genius. He was pushing the envelope. Yeah, y'all thought it was dope. What's the NBA ref that did it? Tim Donahue? Tim Donahue? Yeah. Whatever his name was. Y'all thought it was fly when, what's the NBA ref that did it? Tim Donahue? Tim Donahue? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Whatever his name was. Y'all thought it was fly when he did it. Nah, the refs can't do it, man. Nah, the refs can't do it. I think it's smarter to do it as a ref, though, than as the coach of your team. Like, you don't know if your team's going to perform. Yeah, I know. That's why it's more shady if a ref does it.
Starting point is 00:15:21 He was betting on his team losing. Like, nah, we ain't got this one. I saw how that last practice went. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm. Rose was betting on his team losing. Like, nah, we ain't got this one. I saw how that last practice went. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm the only one hitting on this team right now. This is hell. Why they hating on that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:32 If you can't respect that, your whole perspective is whack. All right, back to real shit. Back to real shit. So Georgia was blue, which was a really big deal. And my dad called me, said he had the greatest day ever. And I said, yo, one day you're going to thank the young voters, man. The young voters show up. Like, the memes go around.
Starting point is 00:15:49 We stress what's important. I mean, they have. They have in these last two elections. So congratulations. Historically, they have not. So I understand why your dad has probably been frustrated with young voters historically. Well, yeah, he was there for fucking slavery and segregation and all that stuff. So yeah, I understand why he feels a way.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Sure. Yeah. Speaking of, actually, my week didn't start with just this. My week started with that fucking Reagan doc. Ah, you finally watched. Yeah, you texted me early. Yeah, but look at the timeline for me. Like, the Reagan doc.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Oh, yeah. Georgia winning. Then all us doing Fauci. Yeah. That's in my timeline. And then all of this chaos happening uh at the capital so i watched the ragged doc real quick i didn't know i didn't know that he was an actor so early leeching off of hollywood women yes oh you didn't know that not the leeching off of hollywood women part yeah or the acting so early part. Mm-hmm. Or the failure rap,
Starting point is 00:16:45 oh, failure rapper. Failure fucking, failure actor when it's got down to D and E-list and G-list. Yeah. And when the gigs stop coming in and now they had you doing
Starting point is 00:16:53 the movie with the monkey. Mm-hmm. Or the ape. Was that an ape? That was an animal. Bozo. Bozo. It was Bozo.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Yeah. Something in Bozo. I didn't know none of this. Yeah. Did you watch it yet? Yeah. Okay. I did.
Starting point is 00:17:04 It was great. That shit is crazy.? Yeah, I did. It was great. That shit was crazy. But boy, did it anger me. And I feel like if I would have really been well-versed on the story of Reagan and Nancy, shout out to them. What a G, that Nancy, huh? Boy, did she fuck us good. What a G.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Yeah. Just say no. Yeah. What a fucking G. She put new plates in the White House. Yeah. Just say no. Yeah. What a fucking G. You put new plates in the White House. Yeah. Hey, my dad was on crack. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:32 What the hell was going on? It was wild. The 80s was wild. But I'm just saying, if I would have knew more about his story, why was everybody acting like Trump was a surprise or a new thing? This is all. See? You see how shit started?
Starting point is 00:17:44 See how it started to come here? This is like the number seven. Why is everybody. See? You see how shit start to come here? This is like the number seven. Why is everybody running around? We've never seen anything like this before. Now, granted, to this magnitude, we have not. To this magnitude. We just get information. We just get information faster now.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Where they put it in front of the veil. Where they put it in front of the curtain. Reagan was also in politics before he was president. Trump went from the apprentice to the White House. That's true. Yeah. There is a slight difference. At least Reagan had some type of interview in politics of he was a governor first at least there was
Starting point is 00:18:08 something that nigga was a fucking puppet and pawn absolutely oh for sure oh for sure it wasn't as crazy to see him become the president the way it was with trump just because they were both actors at one point and yes trump wasn't well trump was trump was the lebron version of reagan he skipped uh he skipped college yeah yeah he didn't have to do that he didn't take that swartz the swartz nigga rollout in the same combo i'm just saying he didn't take the arnold route yeah reagan didn't want to be a governor didn't even play high school ball nancy hated that house yeah i didn't even know that the governors had a house yo who knew that the governors got a house i didn't even know that the governors had a house. Me either. Yo, who knew that the governors got a house?
Starting point is 00:18:45 I didn't know that. I am stupid, audience. Who in the audience knew that? I didn't know until... YouTubers. You knew the governor got a house? I didn't know that. I didn't know the governor got a house either.
Starting point is 00:18:57 So man, just watching that, it just puts so much into perspective for me. Trump is Reagan part two. I mean, I'm sure if I look further down in the lineage I can find a few more of them that exists all it's all connected it's all these guys are friends behind the scenes Trump's has supported financial what a genius Republican idea get an actor yeah yeah y'all ever dated a girl that was an aspiring actress yeah like the y'all now dated a girl that was an inspiring actress? Yes. Like, do y'all know how scary it is dealing with someone who can act?
Starting point is 00:19:27 Absolutely. It's terrifying. You don't know who you're talking to. It's scary. Yeah. Writers, too. You ever dated a chick that writes? Terrifying.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Mm-hmm. No, all my bitches stupid. They couldn't write nothing down. They can hit send and upload. Brightness. They're good send and upload. Brightness. They're good with the filters, but not saturation. They can quote a Sweetie song.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Hey, I'm trying to change us doing that this year. No, I'm not. I'm leaning more into it. What was I talking about just now? Reagan duck. Oh yeah, I'm just saying, put a lot in perspective. When Georgia, all right, so what lot in perspective when we win Georgia.
Starting point is 00:20:06 All right. So what do we need to know about Georgia? This is politics for people that are not into politics because that's where the world is right now. Yeah. Georgia's blue. They split. I'm reading this right.
Starting point is 00:20:18 50.9. It was close. Oh, yeah. This was close. It was very close. Very close. Oh, yeah, this was close. It was very close. Very close. John Ossoff, 50.5%, 2.2 million votes. Oh, 2.252,000 votes. Yo, this is real close.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Yeah. Yo, I want to hit the round of applause for the young voters, man. I do. Yeah. This is huge. This is huge. Wait, and then the Reagan shit got a little more into him flipping the parties. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:51 And the parties flipping. Yo, the whites are fucking good. Yeah. Yeah, I guess you could say that. Interesting. They're interesting. They're clever. We've had a run.
Starting point is 00:21:06 A hell of a run. Yeah. Democrat John Ossoff defeated Republican David Perdue, according to the Associated Press, making him the youngest member of the U.S. Senate and the first Jewish senator from Georgia. Earlier, Raphael Warnock, a pastor from Atlanta, defeated GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler after a bitter campaign. Atlanta defeated GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler after a bitter campaign. Warnock becomes the first black Democrat elected to the Senate from a southern state. Talk about it. The Senate will now be split 50 50 between the two parties, giving Vice President-elect Kamala Harris the tie breaking vote. Well, what do you know? Yeah, that was one thing. A black woman
Starting point is 00:21:45 From an H HSBC HBCU HSBC And HBCU That's a bank She probably banks With them though
Starting point is 00:21:54 Shout out to HSBC She probably banks With them Yeah yeah She go to HSBC Don't do that She probably does Bank with them
Starting point is 00:22:01 That's you know It's not a bad call No but this is awesome Like this is awesome All I could think of Was like All I could think of was, like, all I could think of is how, like, my grandparents would feel watching this. Because they would never assume to see that day. Even when Trump won the election. We'll never get both.
Starting point is 00:22:19 We'll never get both. We'll never get the Senate. We'll never get the Senate. So to see it happen. Yeah. This is awesome. That was one thing I was happy about. You look at things like Trump becoming president and people being upset.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I think that it just made more people, younger people, pay attention to politics. I agree. And to me, that's a good thing. That more people are just paying attention and wanting to learn more about it and wanting to just look at it and just see what's going on and watch it closely. To me, that's something good you could take from Trump's presidency, is that the younger people are paying attention to politics. Okay, so we win Georgia. That's Wednesday morning.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Yeah. Then Wednesday, we all watched the documentary about how museums were made. Oh wait, senators do get six. I'm sorry. Senators get six. House gets I think two. I don't care what y'all say. That was funny. I missed it. I was trying to find facts.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Hey Rory, see Rory would appreciate that. Rory. I'm trying man. It's tough. It's fine. Don't worry about it. So they breached. Shut up Rory would appreciate that Rory I'm trying man it's tough It's fine don't worry about it So they breached Shut up Rory Let's get in our CNN bag Rory Okay listen
Starting point is 00:23:34 Last podcast we gave you a Fauci interview We did our due diligence To the country And they killed us for that You want to talk about that They killed us for Fauci. Fan, you can't win on the internet. You can't.
Starting point is 00:23:48 You cannot. It's impossible. It's impossible. You cannot. No, but a lot of people did praise us. No, yeah, because they were just happy to see us talking to Dr. Fauci. But you know the...
Starting point is 00:23:58 I think there was some shock in that. I also think that, you know, for the most part, we do try our best to be responsible on the platform. Absolutely. We try. So whether we agree with taking the vaccine or not, the right thing to do was to speak to the guy. And then he popped up in a rig and died.
Starting point is 00:24:14 Looking just as handsome as can be. Is he married? That dog he is. He's off the market, buddy. I'm sorry. Look who I would target as a girl. So, yeah, we did our responsibility. We bring you Dr. Fauci and Nate, and a lot of people did kill us.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Why were they killing us? I think they were killing us more for what we talked about afterwards and not what we talked about while we had him on the phone, which I understand, but they have to understand that we only had 15 minutes with him. We couldn't ask all the questions that we wanted to ask. It is what it is. And we're not those guys.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Ask him what we want to ask him. Let me tell you something. He was cool as a fan. He was. He was cool as a fan. And what I mean is he didn't ask for the questions to be sent in so he could screen them. All his people was as cool as can be they didn't
Starting point is 00:25:05 give any problems shit he was sitting down ready to go before i was yeah yeah he was awesome man i really appreciate him and we popped up on the reagan shit i appreciated him there too but when white people were doing all of this on wednesday the first thing i went to was when trump wanted to recount in the selected cities, mainly Detroit, because I was watching that one. And they was in there trying to get the count together. He sent them white people right over there. They start trying to bust in the door, just break up,
Starting point is 00:25:40 just cause commotion to delay the process of counting votes. I am assuming that there is some legal loophole somewhere that says if you delay the process long enough the the uh acting president can remain acting president forever long fact check it yourself i don't know i'm just freestyling my thoughts yeah but i said okay that seems like an organized attempt at disrupting counting votes. Got it. But they deaded that. But that was happening in a few different places. So when I saw this, and then when they announced, oh, they were in there counting things again,
Starting point is 00:26:13 I said, oh, okay. And then the reports continued to come out that said there was, he tweeted something that said, yo, January 6th is going down. We killing niggas, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Because some people were saying, well, yo, January 6th is going down. We killing niggas, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Because some people were saying, well, man, this appears staged. And I was saying, boy, it appears organized. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:35 And there's a thin line there. So tell me about why it appeared staged to you versus organized. Well, okay, staged, I guess what makes it feel staged to me is that they didn't have any National Guard ready or anything. Police reinforcements, they didn't have the trucks like they had for BLM protests. They had no
Starting point is 00:26:55 nothing. So that tells me that they said something ahead of time, which would be staged. Organized kind of falls in the same category of staged to me. Well, it was definitely organized. That's what I'm saying. It was definitely organized.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Yeah, but at first I subscribed to staged. Man, something seems off and funny, and this guy was here before, and all that bullshit. But as the facts kept coming, it was like, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I've seen enough 24. I've seen enough, what's 24 part two uh designated survivor i've seen enough we've seen i've seen this enough to know we just saw it all summer yeah but that's my point with the the protests well even deeper than the protests
Starting point is 00:27:41 because that's that's that's consumer facing. That's out here. But on these shows, on 24, half of the House and Senate or the politicians was riding with the president. It was riding with Jack Bauer. And then the other half wasn't. Yeah. And over the years, we saw people bounce back and forth. Over the years, we saw people bounce back and forth. So for the last few years, with all these pending investigations and charges piling up for when Trump is not in office, we've seen just dominoes falling throughout the years.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Yeah. We get enough dirt on one of his mans. All right, we got him. He's going down. We've seen this chess game. And then when Pence fell on Wednesday, I said, the final domino. Wow. Now they've finally turned on each other. said, the final domino. Wow. Now they've finally turned on each other. I love this petty white shit.
Starting point is 00:28:30 I love Pence changing his Twitter header to Biden and Kamala. Did you see it? Glorious 2021. Glorious. They fixed that pretty quickly. I think it only lasted for five minutes, but still. Glorious 2021. This is going to be crazy. I turned the news on. pretty quickly i think it only lasted for five minutes but still glorious 2021 this is gonna be i turned the news on right and for hours i'm channel surfing through all of the news is don't
Starting point is 00:28:55 know if that's a word but you know what i'm saying and i'm watching it and consuming this for hours and because of that black compassion shit that we have, right? Because we just empathetic to all. Because we just feel for all. I started to feel 2020-ish watching it. I never want to see life loss. I never want to see
Starting point is 00:29:22 who the fuck doesn't know It's pod day It's my kid Sorry I was calling to ask for some insight But you're potting right now As soon as I'm done providing insight To the world
Starting point is 00:29:43 I will take care of you, my son. That was really inspirational. That was a good one. This nigga talking like Darth Vader. Who are you? Don't do that. I'll call you when I'm done. All right, cool.
Starting point is 00:29:55 All right. All right. Where was I at just now? Oh, I never want to see loss of life. I never want to see any of that. But I'm watching this. I'm starting to feel real 2020-h and i said why we not even fucking four days in and i promised myself i wouldn't do this to myself and quite frankly it's none of my business well why you say it's none of your
Starting point is 00:30:20 business what these white folks is doing what these white thugs and heathens, terrorists, which is what they are. They are. Which is what they are, which is what they were. And they're tyrannous. What they were doing,
Starting point is 00:30:36 that didn't concern me. Traitors is the word I'm saying. Yeah, that's not patriotic to me. No. Right. There's nothing American about any of that. I don't know. You're not going to get me to invest that emotional capital while I'm sitting home.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Y'all organize that. Not me. But see, I think the opposite, Joe. I think this is American. I think this is a part of America that exists that for a long time we have ignored and tried to act like didn't exist. I just love the fact that it's happening for the world to see honestly a white supremacy is very American yeah part of it absolutely I was gonna say this is America that entire basis is what America was built on exactly this is this is America this is the United States but the whites
Starting point is 00:31:17 and the whites do this shit is well see and that's why I want to go back definitely new that's why I want to go back to my point about Jack Bauer in 24 right because when you wasn't rolling with Jack like when you wasn't rolling with the president you had to go around
Starting point is 00:31:33 you had to move around him like they was in cahoots sometimes certain doors would be unlocked this shit would have been unlocked like some of the cops like
Starting point is 00:31:40 did y'all see 24 I was never in 24 I know what you mean but it's cool everything that happened here was on 24. So I'm not going to call this a breach. No, it wasn't. They were invited somewhere.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Yes. By the sitting president. In a tweet. Certain doors were unlocked. In a speech. In a speech. He said, we're going to go to the Capitol. I'm going to go with y'all. Even though he ran into the White House. He said, capitol i'm gonna go with y'all even though he
Starting point is 00:32:05 ran to the white house he said i myself i'm gonna walk with y'all to the capitol right now wasn't a tweet it was a whole speech listen when we need to go to the capitol together to fight all the tweets started coming through oh they denied they denied help the national security uh yes because this is organized and you have to get approval from the president to do these things. So if he's not giving it, when we saw him give it to all of the people that looked like they was coming towards those steps, all black people that was on the street that led to those steps got ran over by horses, sprayed with mace. We watched that in real time in 2020. All summer. So today to watch the white people make it right to the steps,
Starting point is 00:32:50 climb the windows, break the windows. That shit was some real crackhead looking shit when they were climbing that wall. I'm not going to hold you. They got the craziest looking whites. White people, y'all are so unathletic. They found the craziest looking whites. Y'all look horrible climbing things. Yeah. I don't know looking whites they could find. Y'all look horrible climbing things.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Yeah. I don't know. I don't know why y'all ever underestimate the poor whites that do drugs. They'll break some shit and climb some shit and get into some shit. Oh, please. Poor whites are the scariest people on earth. Let me tell you why I'm underestimating the poor whites. I watched one of them take a brick to a glass window and took him nine tries to break it
Starting point is 00:33:26 and granted there might be a tough window but still no see and this is the sad part and you can lose your life in a moment's notice at a moment's notice the young lady that i think there was stairs too there was stairs that was the funny That was the funny part. The young lady that lost her life climbing through the window. Oh, yeah, that was terrible. Yes, it was terrible. But the nigga knocked with the brick nine times before the window broke. Yeah. They sitting here armed with guns to your faces.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Even that picture from the actual whatever that office is where they say all the racist shit like on TV. whatever that office is where they say all the racist shit like on TV even there where they had the guns to the back of the main seat and somebody's eyes and head was there I'm like oh you white people play different like guns to the head should mean evacuate to y'all
Starting point is 00:34:16 but not if you were sent here not if you had we're so used to not being threatened by authority that we see that and don't really, it doesn't move us. Because we know we're protected by whiteness. Yeah. They can't shoot me.
Starting point is 00:34:33 And they did it for the most part. They were right. I know. Listen, you white people, y'all don't have so much experience being on that side of the fight. So I really enjoy when white arrogance manifests. Because boy was y'all out there hee-hawing.
Starting point is 00:34:52 And I'm sitting home saying, do they know that the sun's got to come down? It's a little different when that sun went down. Hey, it was different when the sun was up and I'm watching the dudes, they over there checking the time, calling the security, the national guys. Two more hours.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Yo, you good? We about to get to work in a little bit, man. Now, they wildin'. My iPhone says 533 sunset. They wildin' right now, but I mean, we'll get it under control soon. Hey, all that footage changed in a few hours. Yeah. Quickly.
Starting point is 00:35:23 And you saw some of them, they started leaving there when the sun started going down. I think it's time to go now. Why they ain't arrest none of them? They arrested like 10. Yeah, this is, again, man. They would have lined them black bodies out in the street if we would have tried that. It wouldn't have been arrests. It would have been deaths.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Yeah, no. A lot of them. It wouldn't have made it to the nighttime. Not at all. No, but we smart enough not to try no shit like that through the press.
Starting point is 00:35:49 See, that's the difference. See, we'll protest. We'll make some noise. We'll, you know, burn some shit.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Running into the Capitol building, that's when I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a second. Like,
Starting point is 00:35:59 I don't know if we want to do that. Yeah, I don't know if we want to do that. Like, we can stand out here and make some noise. I think Saw Part 7 just dropped. Yeah, yeah just dropped yeah yeah i'm staying go home and catch that i think the knicks are playing yeah i'm gonna check that out yeah but then the result was what
Starting point is 00:36:15 oh so wait so they had to go around trump to even deploy the national guard yeah trump was golfing somewhere hey they tweeting, yo, say something, say something. He's like, yo, chill. And then when he did say something, he was like, I love you guys. You guys are great. Thanks. That shit was great.
Starting point is 00:36:34 He said special people. You guys are special. They looked a little special. Nah, he was right on that. Yeah, somebody had a Viking helmet on. They were climbing a brick wall for no reason. They were special. Bare skin pants and a Viking helmet.
Starting point is 00:36:46 I don't want to get into a huge debate or derail this great conversation. But you did kill Joe, myself and Parks when we said during that debate, when Trump said, proud boys stand down, but stand by. And how problematic that was. And you killed us for thinking that was problematic do you take that statement back no why why would i because i don't think this look what happened i don't think this was this was a this was a bunch of different people out here this wasn't just like whatever they were saying proud boys were this was a lot of this was a lot of a mix of a whole bunch of different people okay a whole bunch of different people.
Starting point is 00:37:26 A whole bunch of his clan. But I'm just saying it wasn't just like a lot of people. You disagree with whatever his clan's name is? No, it's not that I disagree. I just, the proud boy statement to me, you know, I don't know what the fuck that means. Do you agree that somehow Donald Trump signaled for people to participate in this act
Starting point is 00:37:43 on this day at this time? He definitely put energy out there that would rile people up for sure white anybody that supports him definitely felt like felt the need to uh act out and and act act in ways that were unnecessary but watching this watching this listen again i felt really good watching all of this or actually when i stopped watching all of this when i stopped watching all like racism is such a fake thing it's such a man-made oh man you factured okay like if you're just building an entire ecosystem and economy and world on this one thing one division then I could see how that would spread like if I'm if I'm if I'm if I'm training the world to
Starting point is 00:38:30 believe I'm building the entire universe around the belief that Santa Claus is a real person mm-hmm and then that would just be fact in the world mm-hmm like racism is built on hate hate that's taught and anything that's taught can be untaught maybe not in a lifetime so i won't address that sure but it can be redirected absolutely just that fast the people that they say hate us so much we're fighting the white people over what at the at the drop of a dime. Disturbance to other white people. The white people in fucking the clips I saw from the white residents that lived in D.C. that were angry.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I love it. I stand with you, white king. Oh, the white guy that was saying all these crackers. Yeah. That guy was great. Some of the things that are so symbolic in our history, y'all history, white history, not y'all, but white history. Like, I want
Starting point is 00:39:28 to be in the group chat where you niggas said, alright, I got the three pieces of wood. We're going to hang the noose up at this time. Like, how do y'all put this together? That wood was big as hell. They didn't even sell that in Home Depot. How did y'all transport
Starting point is 00:39:44 those three cinder blocks well most of those guys look like they came from the woods so they probably manufactured the wood themselves out of and they drove it to dc you fucking idiots yeah without getting arrested i threw my mcdonald's wrapper outside the car on farmer's boulevard one time they hit him the whole car up. They put a big ass noose up there. Mm hmm. Yeah. To say what?
Starting point is 00:40:15 Well, at this point, it's hard for white people to argue against the fabric of this country, right? Yes, I would hope so. Like and we thought that was happening last year, but we've seen a little more of that. Well, a little more of that was on display here. Yeah. Is all I'm saying. And just at least,
Starting point is 00:40:31 at least the very least, you can see the difference in white. You can see what white privilege looks like. I would hope to the people that there are, there are people that deny white privilege out there. And I hope that they can at least see this and go, you know what? It's clear.
Starting point is 00:40:45 It's crystal clear today might have a point. No, I think about it. Fam, they went in there and started posing with the statues. Fam. Homeboy had the whole podium, like, waving. I think some dude uploaded his Pro Tools from Nancy Pelosi's desk. No, I think it was a Photoshop job. But somebody was at Nancy Pelosi's desk.
Starting point is 00:41:03 It was a hilarious photo. He got arrested. He got arrested. He got arrested. They were writing on the folders, we'll be back. They didn't even, that's how stupid they are. The detail,
Starting point is 00:41:14 the extent of their organization didn't go very far. Yo, get in there. There's a whole bunch of people, the guy that was on the desk, there was a picture of him holding mail that he stole up afterwards. Bro, you're going to jail. There was a whole bunch of people Like the guy that was on the desk There was a picture of him Holding like mail That he stole up afterwards
Starting point is 00:41:27 Like bro you're going to jail Like what are you talking about They don't care though White people don't fear jail That's a federal offense Yeah they don't do it for us Jail is for us Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:35 And that's what people were saying And he will probably not go to jail Is the thing about it Yo respectfully of course The young lady Or the middle aged lady the white lady in the wheelchair
Starting point is 00:41:47 that was handicapped because disabled is offensive too now I think handicapped what was she doing there exercising the first amendment
Starting point is 00:41:58 freedom of speech that's what they say roll home yeah no I'm with you I'm with you more don't say exercise.
Starting point is 00:42:09 See, that's why people... See, you can say that. I can't say that. See? See, you can say that. I can't say that. I can't joke like that. No, that was a good one, Roy. That was good. Yo, we miss you here at the JVP.
Starting point is 00:42:24 It's not the same. No, that was a good one. I'm not going to. Yo, we miss you here at the JVP. Yeah. It's not the same. No, that was a good one. I'm not going to get into the jokes that Joe and I made last night about that woman. Wait, why are you telling on me? Oh, man, what a mess. They was in there rolling around. Oh, so he was arrested already? Yeah, he was arrested.
Starting point is 00:42:43 Okay. What did he do in Nancy Pelosi's office? Took a picture. He doesn't look like he should be stunting for the gram, but he tried it.
Starting point is 00:42:55 He got in the office. He got in there. Look how all these dudes was dressed, too. Just lumberjack. The fact that he found, like, how do you even know what her office is?
Starting point is 00:43:03 Right. Like, how does he even know where her office is? Like, he was walking around looking for her office. Because he watched 24. Yeah. I felt so bad for the people that have to reorganize all those papers that were thrown around. Oh, yeah. Yeah, no, the cleanup crew, they better get a raise.
Starting point is 00:43:17 That looked like a lot of work. They better get a little bump. Now, you know, COVID. They was in there. Spray everything down. Yeah. They was in there being tourists. They was in there like they won the down. Yeah. They was in there being tourists. They was in there like they won the championship.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Yeah. This was their championship. But they lost the championship is the funny part. They saying they got robbed. They didn't. They want the Stanley Cup back. They didn't. I just love the fact that the world can see this now.
Starting point is 00:43:40 That's all I love. This is how Tenet started, but with a lot less organization. They had the Confederate flag at the Capitol. Where were the gas bombs that Tenet had? Nah, those wasn't all. That's the other thing. They had bombs all over the motherfucking place. I don't know if anybody's gotten arrested for that yet, but...
Starting point is 00:43:58 It was a while. So now what? What did that do? I hate to say, but nothing. Y'all made all the people hey so biden won again yeah he won again biden's won mad times good for biden man happy for that brother he's won like six times in the past two months you know what i'm gonna like about about uh biden's presidency like they call biden out to give a little speech uh when the Trumps were Trumping out there. Like Biden looked like,
Starting point is 00:44:27 yeah, why y'all hitting me, man? I am 80 years old. I do not. Where is Kamala? Is it my job? Do I have to? Do you know the amount of Adderall I have to take to even get to the
Starting point is 00:44:38 podium? Yo, you know, it's true. When Biden leaves the podium and turns around and talks to the audience. Enough! We have to stop. Who was just over there by the mic? Look at his face.
Starting point is 00:44:54 He is disgusted with us. Biden. Oh, and I got a lot more of them confusing Joe Biden and Joe Biden, by the way. I'm sure. They're sending me all types of proposals. It's going to be a long four years for you. Wait, is that how we got Fauci
Starting point is 00:45:09 on the pod? Exactly. He got on the fucking Zoom and was like, wait, wait, wait. This is not President Joe Biden. I'm watching the Reagan shit. I'm watching this disaster at the Capitol.
Starting point is 00:45:26 And if you really want to depress yourself as a black man, I was telling somebody the other day, I just started randomly thinking about the presidents I've been alive for. Like when I was watching Reagan, I was thinking about all the shit that I just didn't know. Like I didn't think about Reagan being a leeching actor. Who knew Woody Harrelson had a dad, even though his name is Junior. Like there's some things I just didn't. Who knew Woody Harrelson had a dad even though his name is Junior like there's some things I just didn't know when I
Starting point is 00:45:50 watch these dogs like I didn't know Woody Harrelson's dad was such a big prominent figure in Hollywood I told you I didn't know that yeah he was a gangster oh he was a gangster Hollywood so I don't like well I like him too now and I'm sorry to him his dad only defend offended I'm just saying Some things I didn't know So Yeah to learn that about Damn I forgot the point I was getting to
Starting point is 00:46:09 Oh the presidents That I've been alive for It's depressing Yeah It's depressing Yeah It's a rollercoaster Somehow Trump's the only one
Starting point is 00:46:17 That only got four He just knew he was getting eight I got four from Trump I got eight from Barack I got eight from Clinton I got eight from Bush I got Bush too Eight from Bush I got four from Trump. I got eight from Barack. I got eight from Clinton. I got eight from Bush. I got eight from Bush. I got eight from Reagan.
Starting point is 00:46:30 I think George Sr. only was four, though. Yeah? Yeah. He only served one term. I can't add. It don't matter. That's depressing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:41 I'm voting Kanye. Why? Because Jeffree Star Would be a fly first lady Oh my god Yeah that was a great joke There's something That's just not right about that
Starting point is 00:46:52 I appreciated it I know there's something I appreciated the joke I know there's something That's not right about it I don't know what But there's something That's just not right about that
Starting point is 00:46:59 Is all I'm saying It's 2021 Yeah Nah it was great Joe Yeah Nah you right You right. You right. You right.
Starting point is 00:47:08 So does Jeffrey. See? And Jeffrey will make sure the racism stays in the White House. Alright. Y'all gotta stop. Y'all gotta stop. We can't do that. So does Jeffrey.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Y'all are sick. Alright, can't do that. So does Jeffrey. Y'all are sick. All right, what else do we need to unpack here? Yo, Screen Man, can you get all the racist presidents off the screen? Everything we don't need, just a little help with. I know who's racist and who's not. Man. What if they came out and told us Denzel was racist? Nah.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Like one of our heroes. Nah, I'm not rolling with that. I don't give a fuck. I'm not rolling with that. That's the same thing I say when he tried to tell me about Kevin Spacey. I'm like, no. No way. No. Not Kev. Sam,
Starting point is 00:47:55 you knew Kevin Spacey was nasty. I did not know. I loved him before I didn't. He was white Denzel. I also loved him in space. Oh, for sure. He was like the classy. That guy is nasty.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Yeah, he's filthy. Well, now that all of this has come out, his eyes and his nose look funny. You start picking them apart. He's got a little bit of lizard. How didn't I see it? He's got lizard people tendency. Did you watch his YouTube? What did you say? He came out after the whole thing
Starting point is 00:48:27 it was called Let Me Be Frank yeah he's a creep an amazing acting performance but the entire time I was like yeah he did that shit I didn't hear what you said but it was true forget it
Starting point is 00:48:44 shout out to Wifi when was you the first time that you heard about I didn't hear what you said, but it was true. Forget it. You better call violence, man. When was you the first time that you heard about what Charlie Sheen was really getting into? What'd you say? What'd you say the first time you heard it? Nah, no. No, he didn't. I said not. No, he's not.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Not wild thing from Major League. That was my guy. What was the name of the show? Two and a Half Men? Yeah. He was such an inspiration. At the time, he was getting like five million an episode. I think he was living with like 10 white girls, and he was doing coke every day.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Yeah, legend. Handguns everywhere. Then his job had the nerve to talk about, you're not performing right. So, what the fuck are you talking about? I'm having a great time. All right, so is this over with? What else do we see? What else? It's not,? I'm having a great time. All right. So is this over with? What else do we see?
Starting point is 00:49:28 What else? It's not, right? No. It's not. It can't be. No. No. It's not over with, but I think it's going to die out pretty quick.
Starting point is 00:49:34 Trump think he's going to fix this by letting Wayne and Kodak Black out of jail. He thinks that's going to win him over. He might get impeached. Yeah. They impeached him before. No, but for real impeached. He might get impeached. Yeah, they've impeached him before. No, but like for real impeached. Yeah, the real version. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:49 He's going to jail. The deluxe impeached? Yeah, he might get the... Trump is not going to jail. I have him going to jail. I don't know if he's going to jail. No. I can see him getting impeached for sure.
Starting point is 00:49:58 He's going to jail. Y'all think he just did all that shit the other day and he's walking away scoffing? Somebody's going to jail for the other day. No, he's not going to. It won't be Trump. He's not going to jail. And then all the politicians, they're coming out. We moved to strike him as president.
Starting point is 00:50:13 I'm like, fam, he's got two weeks left. He's been doing this kind of for four years. You can wait the two weeks out now. That's why I say this. The reason why they want to impeach is so he can't run again. And he wouldn't get all the, you know, as taxpayers,
Starting point is 00:50:28 we pay for his Secret Service and protection and housing and all that shit. After he's out of presidency, if he was impeached fully, that would not happen anymore. So there is a value in impeaching him still,
Starting point is 00:50:38 even if it's only two weeks. And that's never nothing. We thought two months, see how much you can do in two months. Wasn't he impeached? He was impeached. Yeah, he was.
Starting point is 00:50:47 He's impeached already. Yeah, but not kicked out of office. Yeah, they didn't find anything any substantial. Well, because that's been the story of his
Starting point is 00:50:55 whole presidency is fucking dangling power over people's heads and just hoping that they act right. Yeah, and his party was, you know, on board with him
Starting point is 00:51:03 because he had a fan base basically. So, now that they can't really be on board with him, you might see an impeachment happen. Maybe. We'll see. I think he's out of here. I think he's going to jail. I do.
Starting point is 00:51:14 But we'll see. Jail, no. One thing that's for sure, more will be revealed. Oh, please. The government don't spend all this money to get you and don't get you. Yeah. They have been trying to get him. I never really have a lot of faith
Starting point is 00:51:25 of rich, powerful white men going to jail. That's all. And it stops right there. They go. It's just a different jail. That's true. There's a golf course there.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Five-star meals. So he's just going to one of his hotels. Going to his Mar-a-Lago resort. Files. Yeah. Better Wi-Fi than Rory's got. He's definitely going there.
Starting point is 00:51:44 He's definitely going to his resort for sure Rory definitely didn't get the white privilege package of wifi I have the high speed Verizon wifi
Starting point is 00:51:52 I don't know why we're not looking at maybe it's Parks wifi and not mine I just keep telling you to shut up and you just keep trying to sell
Starting point is 00:51:59 you got the R-Tune on? T-Pain that ass. Yo, Maul is back with another thing of things that need to stop in 2021. Stop tagging me in your posts. Stop tagging him. Listen to him. Anti-social, man. I am, man.
Starting point is 00:52:19 Stop talking to me. You know I'm anti-social, man. Just don't tag me in your posts. I mean, certain shit. Certain shit. Yeah, certain shit antisocial, man. Just don't tag me in your posts. I mean, certain shit. Certain shit? Yeah, certain shit. Come on, fam. I get it.
Starting point is 00:52:29 I hear you. I see you. I see what y'all doing out there, but it gets annoying after a while. That's all. When it's the same person over and over again. I'm clear. Maul may not be that. This is celebrity privilege that we're discussing.
Starting point is 00:52:42 No, it's not. I'm not a celebrity. Yo, why y'all keep, you know what I mean, riding my dick? No, I didn't say that. That's not what I said. Yo, why y'all be sucking my dick? That's not what I'm saying. I would never say that.
Starting point is 00:52:52 I just don't like opening my phone and seeing. All right, well, hold up. Let me say that. Y'all stop sucking my dick. Like, no, enough. It's corny. Like, fam, oh, I'm sharing a stage with Joe Budden right now. Nigga, you're not. Oh, you're talking about clubhouse type shit? I'm sharing a stage With Joe Budden right now Nigga you're not
Starting point is 00:53:06 Oh you're talking about Clubhouse type shit I'm talking about all of it Oh okay It's the same thing you're talking about Yeah yeah yeah Don't send me your demo 40 times in a row
Starting point is 00:53:14 I'm blocking you Yeah You can make the greatest music In the world Sorry buddy I'm not gonna hear it I'm blocking you Stop
Starting point is 00:53:21 Yo Joe And some of y'all are really good But the way you go about Trying to get it heard And get it seen It's just It'll turn people off I'm in this room with of y'all are really good but the way you go about trying to get it heard and get it seen it'll turn people off I'm in this room with Joe right now
Starting point is 00:53:28 he's dropping gems I'm not I am not dropping gems I haven't dropped anything you and Chet Hanks were dropping gems last night no we were not you were exchanging gems
Starting point is 00:53:37 with Chetty the Chetty yo no you and Chet gotta do a show man I saw your I saw your couch down there looking me and Chet got to do a show, man. I saw your couch down there looking. Me and Chet have to do a show.
Starting point is 00:53:49 No, we do not. That's my man, though. Don't hate on Shabba Hanks. That's Rory's man, too, now he's texting. Don't worry about it. I'm not going to say anything. All right, so come on. What else is important, man man we done with the whites today
Starting point is 00:54:06 yeah enough man enough the whites had enough luck we're done with the whites for now yeah yeah versus because we were supposed to be having a an event uh tonight and uh just some sad sad sad news that well no no no no no no if you not going to keep it real in 2021, then don't talk. Leave. Go home. Order Chinese food. What are you talking about? Yeah, man, such a sad, sad thing.
Starting point is 00:54:32 Yeah, we was looking forward to this. Damn, yo, this is crazy, huh? Like, why? How? Like, what could have went wrong? Yeah, I don't know what went wrong. The verses put out the statement. I know they risked.
Starting point is 00:54:43 Look, it's COVID. Don't say the verses. I said no verses put out the statement. You said the verses put out a statement. Like the DR.'s COVID. Don't say the versus. I said no versus. You said the versus put out a statement. Like the DR. No, I didn't say the versus. I said versus. Hey, Rory, why y'all say the DR? Because it's the DR.
Starting point is 00:54:55 It is the DR. The Dominican Republic. It is. That's right. It's the same as Nancy Pelosi's office. DR. What? I failed to see the parallel but the dr is dr it's just dr it's not the dykeman no it's the dominican republic is it the dykeman no is it the pr no it's the diodo just like it's the bronx but it's not the manhattan
Starting point is 00:55:24 same thing yo you know what else bothers me let me go back to the whites whiting the other day Is it the PR? No, it's the D-O-D. Just like it's the Bronx, but it's not the Manhattan. Same thing. Yo, you know what else bothers me? Let me go back to the whites whiting the other day. This is like a prime fear of mine. Like getting shot or having something really, really like life-threatening happen to me and people just standing around me casually. Pulling their phone out? Or just not acting. Because you know that's what happens now
Starting point is 00:55:46 just might get shot just not acting with urgency yeah yeah that's a that's the real thing the young lady was shot in her neck or her chest or somewhere fell out the window was on the floor losing her life and just surrounded by commotion in her final moments. That's an issue for me. That's bothersome to me. I watched it with Nipsey. Like, I just have watched it. Every time we get to see it, that's what I watch. It's never just an urgent matter.
Starting point is 00:56:16 Well, they were in that situation in particular. That was just a chaotic environment. They were in the best place you could be to think that help would come i'm at the steps of the capitol i should get help no you're inside the capitol building even better but this should be a live-in ambulance here like some rich people have the live-in chefs there's a whole kitchen downstairs you'll never have to see them they just come up with a meal you're happy right. There should be a living ambulance over there.
Starting point is 00:56:46 That's an issue for me, but whatever. All for that, man. Rest in peace to that terrorist. I mean, rest in peace. That hurts. I know. See, I don't even feel right saying that right but you see
Starting point is 00:57:06 but that goes back to I don't want to see any white like I saw the memes going around we're not telling y'all to shoot them we're saying
Starting point is 00:57:15 why do y'all shoot us I've seen all of that but see but that goes back to what I said though as black people we can't even you felt some type of way of calling this woman a terrorist just now.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Like, just internally, you just didn't even feel right calling her that. I would have liked to not call her that. And that's the difference between... But what terrorism is and what they taught me it is are two different things. Okay. But even still, you still didn't feel right saying it. Well, yeah, because they never taught me about it being a domestic threat. Never.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Or when it was, it was someone that was affiliated with. No, no, they taught me I was the threat domestically. Oh, yeah. That's what I'm saying. But you see how you saying it, it just feels. Because I'm used to being that. Yeah, it would sound funny calling someone else that i don't typically identify that way that and that's the feeling that the white people should have that do that to us we're just
Starting point is 00:58:11 compassionate people it just goes back to that black people just compassionate people well why don't they have more compassion can y'all answer to that outside of the typical i hate white people shit culturally why is that seem to be a thing outside of y'all stole everything outside of that like do y'all understand i'm saying i do understand where is it i'm trying to find the answer but i think that's probably why but do you identify what we're saying absolutely 100 100 but that's probably why i don't when i say i don't hate white people be clear i'm talking about them these white people the evils the evils but that may be a reason why i don't really hang out with white people that are of that culture.
Starting point is 00:58:47 Like, I don't, I can't understand them. I don't understand their mindset. I don't understand their lack of empathy. I don't understand any of that shit. See, for me, I don't hate them. I just pray that they're untaught, some of those things. I don't hate them either, yeah. Well, I hate what they stand for.
Starting point is 00:59:04 I hate for what they believe for me. Love is in me. I'm when you're raised that way, like for us to hate them, we would have to be taught that. And not even because that's the world we came up in where they taught us that. Like if you, if you beat me up every day at school,
Starting point is 00:59:18 I'm probably not going to enjoy going to school. Like I'm probably going to hate you, the teacher, the, your friends. Like I get how the cycle works but okay i guess what has to happen for y'all to gain some that's the question we've never had to out of necessity have empathy right we never have it's it's generations and generations of not needing to have empathy out of necessity because we've only had the luxury of focusing on our family and friends.
Starting point is 00:59:53 We've never needed to have it to survive. That's a good point, Roy. Yeah, but I guess you're right. I'm just not even talking about it from a survival standpoint. I'm just talking about like what you're made up of as a human. Right. And I get it that maybe you guys are too arrogant and entitled or just too powerful in this construct that we live in
Starting point is 01:00:17 to ever feel like you need to have that. I just don't see why y'all don't view it as a plus do y'all get nervous when the cops up pull y'all over i do absolutely why because i spent most of my entire life hanging out with black people for the most part but you know it's been it's been ingrained in me now i've been pulled i've i've been pulled over so many times around my black friends that I now have the same fear, even when I'm by myself. So you were with black people a lot of times
Starting point is 01:00:50 when you had encounters with the police? All the time. All the time. And they didn't treat you so white in those instances? Hell no. They said, what are you doing hanging around these people
Starting point is 01:01:01 and shit of that nature? You don't need to be hanging out with these people. These people are, I saw, i think i briefly mentioned the story on here one time but a friend of mine uh his best friend and his cousin were coming over his cousin was also a good friend of mine uh and he got shot at by you know some street shit and the bullet just grazed his eye but you know he's bleeding he almost lost his life by like a fucking fraction of an inch and me and my girlfriend at the time, who was white, were with them at the police station all night.
Starting point is 01:01:28 And the police are just like, why are you here? These are bad people. These are drug dealers. They were not drug dealers. They were just walking to come hang out with us and have a beer. So it's not the same feeling. But I understand the feeling of fear of police. OK.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Even that, what are you doing with these people like even the identification of which side you're on like the white girl that has been annoying us for god knows how many years i won't say her name but she was tweeting and pleading with the looters and terrorists to stop because they were behaving like them she said we we uh you don't want us to be like them or whatever she said and i was like oh so you do know that you're part of that week like just because you're not behaving that way you subscribe to those ideologies to those thoughts so you're the we it just seems like no matter how many facts you lay out in front of people like whatever ill will and malice and hate and just nastiness is in their heart like maybe in our lifetimes it's not meant to to be removed but i really pray i say there's too much here that my
Starting point is 01:02:41 great-grandkids can just see something different than what I've seen in the way that I've seen something different than what my great-great grandparents saw in my grandparents sure it's just interesting because you know people in other parts of the world and us being Americans I don't care you'll see how you see how different even like in other parts of the world if i'm walking around in london somewhere they don't they're not gonna ask me am i black they say where you from you know i mean like i'm american there are some uh different countries london probably being one of them where there are still some absolute racist oh no that's all over the world but what i'm saying is when they see me it's not
Starting point is 01:03:21 black or you know i mean it's like oh or, you know what I mean? It's like, oh, you're American. We're learning about each other to divide. Right. The first thing we're looking to do is divide and not love with all the questions. Hey, what religion are you? What race are you? Where are you from? Where do you live?
Starting point is 01:03:38 What do you do for a living? How old are you? Who are your parents? What's your last name? Once you get into all of those things it's all for division yeah and that's like the first reaction here in this country so i'm like i'm watching the news and again we're going to end this soon because i don't want to spend too much time on this i'm really in great spirits would it be in 2021 and this added to that in spite of the loss of life and on the news as i'm channel surfing you know everybody kept speaking about this american
Starting point is 01:04:05 pride and how this is one of the worst days in american history and i'm like huh this is one of the worst yeah this is bad but this is this is bad and this is uh fam if y'all want me if y'all want me as a 40-year-old, young, black millionaire that shouldn't have been a millionaire, because I know that none of the laws that exist for all these new black millionaires, we wasn't supposed to do that.
Starting point is 01:04:35 That's a mistake. Even that's a kink in the system. But damn, why is my memory so bad today? Oh, the news. American pride, American pride. Oh my God, the rest of the world american pride american oh my god the rest of the world is looking at us like we are pieces of shit and shambles how could this happen and i'm like fam i haven't been proud of any picture that y'all have showed of this country in my lifetime
Starting point is 01:04:56 like why do they think i'm supposed to feel the way that other countries are looking at us the way that our own look at us like right that's how we've been looking at y'all. It's all nastiness. It's all nastiness. Come on, let's get to black culture. Let's do it. Let's get to black culture. Spend enough time with the whites. All your takes be wrong. Why you say that? This why.
Starting point is 01:05:22 YouTube, if you're listening to the lovely sounds of Queen Keisha Cole, I DM'd her this morning for her phone number. She has not replied yet, but I wanted to call because enough is enough. Hey, certain shit you just can't suppress for so much longer. They canceled this battle due to COVID because Ashanti got sick and we needed her to get better as the queen that she is And now we have yet another
Starting point is 01:05:49 Postponage Setback Pushback, rescheduling They didn't give us a date But they said for safety reasons Versus we'll have to go back to Performing In different venues different
Starting point is 01:06:05 locations I'm alright with that that should change the vibe a little bit but I'm cool with that but what I'm talking about underneath these verses posts on the internet hold up more great record amazing I don't like when he don't never got his car broke Rory I don't like when he does that i never got his car broke rory i don't like when he does that he don't know what type of time you just did it again like the thing you did when i hit the bullseye on try two and you just commenced with your day it's a great you just no you just heard the sounds of greatness i said look to the side great record no nigga more than that it's more than a great record what is it it's keep postponing
Starting point is 01:06:47 but what what are you saying what are you saying what narrative are you trying to create I'm not paying to narrate yeah you are you are alright so just walk with me
Starting point is 01:06:54 you are I don't want to walk with you I'm going out of the way stay right here stay right here with me Versus made the post uh huh Swiss Beast rolled his eyes
Starting point is 01:07:01 right underneath it uh Aggie face Versus made the post but why was thatie face. Versus made the post. But why was Swiss? That's Swiss posted it. Versus made the post. No, Swiss did not post this.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Who posted this? Versus. Swiss knows. He know who posted it. He okayed it, I'm sure. Yeah, absolutely. I don't think he did, but that's fine. Versus made the post.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Okay, him or Tim? Keisha Cole puts a little emoji. It was like emoji day. It's today emoji day. Keisha Cole put a little sad face emoji. I wonder what. And I don't even think that's a sad face. That's a little like. A was like emoji day. It's today emoji day. Keisha Cole put a little sad face emoji. I wonder what. And I don't even think that's a sad face.
Starting point is 01:07:27 That's a little like. A little side eye. Side eye. That looks like it says bitch please. Same thing. Yeah. Side eye and bitch please.
Starting point is 01:07:34 You throw a side eye when you say bitch please. We got a side eye from Swiss Beats. We have a side eye from Keisha Cole. Come on y'all. It's 2021.
Starting point is 01:07:43 What do y'all think? It's 2021 y'all not last year we can tell true i don't know where you're trying to go with this i'm fine i'm asking you somebody is running stop it man what is wrong with y'all man no no i don't think that's what this is i think i think i think like i said maybe maybe some people on the uh the versus technical team maybe some of them caught COVID. Possibly. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:08:08 They do. I don't know where this is. They're fine. Do these ladies live in LA? They're breathing better than ever. Huh? Do they live in LA? Not bad sound people.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Yeah, word. Or was this to be filmed in LA? I'm not sure. No, shit is bad over there. Yeah, I don't know if it was supposed to be in LA, if they were supposed to film in LA. I'm not sure. I think so. Whole nasal system, mad airy and breathy.
Starting point is 01:08:25 Yeah, but I mean, let's get to the narrative what are you trying to say with this i remember when i gave up loving you my heart couldn't take no more of you i was sad and lonely Sing it with me. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Yo, Ashanti, don't show up no more. We don't want to see you no more. Why you say this like it's a show? I would like to see Ashanti. Yeah, like what you talking about? It's cool.
Starting point is 01:09:02 I'm trying to put this on Ashanti, man. Hey, listen, we'll see Ashanti in the next joiner video. Dang, don't waste our time. Don't you dare mention Keisha name no more. She never did. If she don't show up on the next one, buddy, this does fall on her, is what I'm saying. No, it doesn't. Why?
Starting point is 01:09:17 Fam, if you can't show up in separate locations, it's like, oh, shit, my- That's not what this is saying, though. If Ashanti texts us next week and say yo my basement flooded it's crazy oh no no no that's totally different now you're saying something different
Starting point is 01:09:29 yo something happened with the pipes and bus yeah now you're saying something different yo I got asbestos in my kitchen y'all yeah if that happens then we can have a conversation
Starting point is 01:09:37 it happened already no it didn't she caught COVID let's read this together let me let's read let's read between the lines this has been an emotional week oh come on it the lines. This has been an emotional week.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Oh, come on. Has it not been an emotional week? Emotions have been high. They wrote this last week. In addition, look. That's how you know. In addition. I can't.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Let me stop. It's all this shit going on. I don't want nobody from Apple to text me angered at anything I'm saying. This is D-Dot, man. D-Dot wrote this. All right. Yeah, it was B-Dot.
Starting point is 01:10:05 And D-Dot and D-Dot. D-Dot. It was both of them. The collab? It was a dot collab. In addition, anytime you write in addition after the first sentence, this is some bullshit. Yo, it's been a rough week. In addition to that, and another thing, this is a corporate and another thing, Malk. For sure.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Absolutely. As COVID-19 numbers continue. They say they're increasing. We just had the Fauci on. Let me lose a deal right now in real time. We just had the Fauci on and he said the numbers are increasing. Who wants to see us lose a deal right now? I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Damn me. Fauci, he said the same thing. Numbers are increasing. The numbers are increasing. The numbers are increasing. I want the deal, man. We're not going to do it. The numbers are increasing. Fauci, he said the same thing. Numbers are increasing. Damn, no. I want the deal, man. The numbers are increasing. I want the deal, man. I'm not going to do it. The numbers are increasing.
Starting point is 01:10:48 All right, audience. I can't tell you what I really think about this. The numbers are increasing. The numbers are increasing. Fauci said it. I know. All right, let's read it together. The numbers continue to...
Starting point is 01:10:59 Fauci said it. Look, Fauci said it. Numbers continue to increase. Safety is a top priority for us. There you go. I'm rolling still. Nobody wants to get sued. I do believe that, yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:12 Or sick. Or die. Yeah. Right. As much as we enjoy having niggas. Yeah. Nah. Oh.
Starting point is 01:11:20 As much as we enjoy having everyone in the same room together to protect the artists and everyone who works with us in putting the shows together, we'll be going back to separate locations for a bit. I support this move. I'm not mad at it. Got to keep people healthy. We're excited for the next few events and look forward to getting back to the show in coming weeks.
Starting point is 01:11:37 In coming weeks, yeah. I can see them pushing this for A Valentine's special All the pain I went through I can see it I can see them pushing this back Another three weeks Three or four weeks
Starting point is 01:11:55 For sure Come here You guys are full of shit You lucky I'm not there What happened? If y'all don't admit that Ashanti is ducking then shut up
Starting point is 01:12:08 come on how are you saying that it's true she had COVID nah her parents were sick like everybody they were sick
Starting point is 01:12:15 we're in the hospital nah not true that was her she was scared to speak so she spoke cause she was scared oh my god that is what that was
Starting point is 01:12:23 y'all are crazy yo listen all I'm gonna tell you is this more all I can do is go from is what that was. Y'all are crazy. Yo, listen, all I'm going to tell you is this, Maul. All I could do is go from the timeline that was presented to me. And when this battle was first announced, I heard the majority of people laugh my good sister Keisha Cole out of the room and didn't know why she was even in this.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Who? Mad people. No. Rory, am I off? Yes, you're off with that. No one ever said that. Not one person said that. Joe's putting some sauce on it.
Starting point is 01:12:46 Who would laugh Keisha Cole out of a room? Not laugh out. Not one person thought Keisha Cole shouldn't be in that battle. When this battle was announced, give me the percentage of who thought she might win when it was first announced. For you. 60-40 to Ashanti. I didn't. I thought it was a little higher.
Starting point is 01:13:04 It didn't feel like that. I say 70-30. I think that's exactly right. And I'm going to say it felt like 75-25, but it was overwhelmingly in Ashanti's favor, wherever y'all want to land it.
Starting point is 01:13:16 I got it at 75-25. As the time went on, I'm saying, okay, COVID, that's valid. But I mean, why would you outside? Honestly, but we can't do that. We can't do that.
Starting point is 01:13:24 Rory got it. I got it. We be outside. We got to fight through it sometimes i understand that you come back everything's cool the white people start bugging i understand taking some time off for that because that's not what the country is right now we don't need a scapegoat i mean we don't need a uh an escape we need to deal with whatever we're dealing with i'm with that too but we'll get back to the show in the coming weeks is a little alarming to me. That's the only sentence that I'm like, fam, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Well, wait, we're excited for the next few events, which means the next few might be separate locations.
Starting point is 01:13:57 And then look forward to getting back to the show in the coming weeks might mean. Next few events is plural. So, yeah, you would be talking about the next few months separate locations I think they're trying to get back to the same room but then we look forward to getting back to the show
Starting point is 01:14:09 the show their show meaning like in the room together okay I don't think Ashanti dare step foot where Keisha Cole is
Starting point is 01:14:16 I think Ashanti won't dare look Keisha in the eyes nah I think Ashanti wants that smoke it's gonna be a really good battle yeah I think Keisha just made eyes. Nah, I think Ashanti wants that smoke. It's going to be a really good battle. I think Keisha just made another
Starting point is 01:14:27 new song to play that's a hit. You got to keep working now. Nah, don't give us no new music. We want all the old hits. When is Bobby Brown going to have a versus? That's a good question. Never. Why not? Everyone around him is dying. If you take my kids from me, you take my family, like, what do you want me to do?
Starting point is 01:14:48 Yeah. My mind's not dead. That's one. And two, nobody's going to say his name. We said that here. There's a few names they're just going to skip right by. Bobby Brown's one of them. They're going to act like he never happened.
Starting point is 01:14:58 No, they're going to stomp into the deck. Yeah, it was good. Yo, I was just playing your shit. Yo, Bob. They're going to try to call him Bob. Now, though, battle of the Browns they was talking about Chris Brown and Usher
Starting point is 01:15:09 and all this shit I'm not mad at Chris Brown and Bobby Brown just to do it see but I like contrast don't tell me about who would win I don't care
Starting point is 01:15:17 I'm just a fan of contrast I feel like that's turning it into something else but I'm not opposed to it see I think that's turning it into like the real party when they say alright we just I'm not opposed to it. See, I think that's turning it into the real party. When they say, all right, we just vibing.
Starting point is 01:15:26 We're not battling. Yeah. Oh, and if you're doing that, then I'm Chris Brown, Bobby Brown. Let's do it. That's a party. That's a party. Then let's do it. If it's that, then let's do it.
Starting point is 01:15:37 And Bobby Brown is probably the only guy that Chris Brown is going to actually respect up there. Chris Brown is going to be up there dancing. Chris Brown is not going to respect Usher or none of them. He will respect them. Oh, okay. But he ain't gonna treat them like respect. You even heard what he said when the rumor was going around, yo, who gonna win? Usher, Chris Brown? He was like, yo, stop putting my name with these niggas.
Starting point is 01:15:56 I am me. That's what he said. You can't say that with Usher. Yeah, Usher's Usher, too. He said it, though. No doubt. He's supposed to, though. You can't say it about Usher, and you can't, and I can't. Chris Brown though. No doubt. He's supposed to though. You can't say it about Usher and you can't and I can't. Chris Brown said what he said.
Starting point is 01:16:09 He's supposed to. And Usher went right back. Yeah, what the weekend said about me? And what did the weekend do? Here's the climax. Nah, nigga. Chris said, hey, Chris said you ain't wanting to.
Starting point is 01:16:21 Yeah, yeah. Let's keep it on that. Yeah. I'm here to get us canceled this year. The fuck? Off of versus, though. Right? That was enough of versus.
Starting point is 01:16:33 We don't have any more of those. There was an announcement. I don't know how true. I think Bun said it in an interview, but UGK versus 8-Ball and MJG. I'm near for that. It may still be in the rumor mill, but I saw some. I'm near for that. I don't know who wins. Don't ask me. That's a party. That's a party.
Starting point is 01:16:48 That's a party. I'm not watching the versus without a girl present. That's a party. What? Go home again. Roy, I think your Wi-Fi has COVID too nigga gave COVID to the algorithm
Starting point is 01:17:07 how you gave it to the algorithm when are you back in like tell Rory Hive cause they're not even watching while you're not here ooh
Starting point is 01:17:15 the power alright come on what else is going on we are done with We are done with We are done with Versus Uh oh Hey
Starting point is 01:17:29 New music See and that's why I need Roy here with me Not just new music Oh jazz Not just new jazz music She looks great She does
Starting point is 01:17:41 She looks great I told Park Soon as we was watching NPR Yeah Tiny Desk Yeah she looks great Yo told Paul As soon as we was watching NPR Yeah Tiny Desk Yeah She looks great Yo
Starting point is 01:17:48 She smoked at Tiny Desk Alright before we get to Jasmine Sullivan Lizzo looks great too And nobody wants to talk about it Who? I haven't seen Lizzo She's losing
Starting point is 01:17:59 She's lost a lot of weight I haven't seen her And I don't mean to trigger The people that are angered by that Who's this? Lizzo People are angered by Lizzo losing weight? Yeah What? I don't mean to trigger the people that are angered by that. Who's this? Lizzo. People are angered by Lizzo losing weight? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:08 What? I don't know anymore. I just don't know. I don't know what's offensive anymore. It's not offensive, but Lizzo always stood on the embrace your body for the bigger women type of thing. So now when you see her losing weight, the bigger women that maybe are not trying
Starting point is 01:18:23 to are like, whoa, I thought you was rapping. I don't know. I can't speak to him. I'm just telling you. Okay. You seen that? You looking at it now? You can find it. Glued to your phone right now, right? No, I'm not. Damn, nigga will not look up, right? I'm not looking for that. Why don't you tell the audience what you're looking at over there? I'm not looking for that.
Starting point is 01:18:40 Why don't you tell the audience what you're talking about? I just saw a picture of Meg. I said she looks great. She looks good. She does. She of Meg. I said she looks great. She looks good. She does. She's working out. She always looks great. Yeah. That's not what you said.
Starting point is 01:18:52 You said, yo, am I horny? I'm snitching in this. This year, we're going to get this pod to where it needs to be. That's not what I said. You said, yo. I didn't say that. Why did I say that? I hate when you think of a good lie on a dude,
Starting point is 01:19:04 and then he slammed down the reverse. Yeah, I didn't say that. Why did I say that? I hate when you think of a good lie on a dude, and then he slammed down the reverse. I didn't say that. So she looks good. Reverse in the lie. Look at her. Looks great. Magdalene's great. She's on that.
Starting point is 01:19:13 Must be one of those diets the girls are taking. The girls are taking. Yeah. Just working out. Girls just make up diets. I'm on a water diet. 14 days of just water. I'm like, you're going to die, bitch.
Starting point is 01:19:23 14 days of just water? You should get some protein. You need a steak. You need some. At least a little bread. Yo, Queen Jasmine Sullivan dropped when no one else was dropping. Also, now if you're up and coming, let me be the first to tell you. I love the title of the album, too.
Starting point is 01:19:40 Oh, yeah. Well, we're going to get into that part, too. oh yeah well we're gonna get into that part too also if you're an up-and-coming uh creator artist aspiring anything you're probably wondering when the industry will open up again i'm here to tell you that the industry is going to tell you that they opened um they're opening monday i'm also here to tell you they're not they're lying i've i've heard at least 10 different executives or just people that work with an ad label say, oh, yeah, Monday, we should be back. I'm answering my emails.
Starting point is 01:20:12 I'll get right back to you. And I'm mad, like, ah. Yeah. Probably a week or two early with that one. But we did get new music. Jasmine Sullivan, somebody that all of us here champion absolutely uh dropped a new ep she made sure to let us know it was an ep she said please do not call this an album don't offend me don't insult me this is not that what is the difference this
Starting point is 01:20:39 is 28 minutes of music okay and i'm still old school to go by the old school meaning of it. Now I just changed the time frame. So if the EP used to be anything under 40 minutes, now I'm assuming it's anything under 30. For me, personally. That's not the Billboard ASCAP, label-y, universal rules. It's all the same shit to me. Unless it's like three songs or five songs,
Starting point is 01:21:00 I would call that an EP. But if you got more than like seven, eight, nine songs. Thirteen tracks. Well, this is where that comes into play for me. I immediately purchased this project. songs i would call that ep but if you got more than like seven eight thirteen tracks yeah well this is where that comes into play for me i immediately purchased this project i didn't have to listen to it i didn't have to sample the tracks so i purchased it and parks to the point you were making earlier it does matter for me if it's labeled as a eplp when i purchased jasmine's new project it said 14 tracks but half of them were interludes of just women speaking
Starting point is 01:21:27 i guess to put the project together and you know do the whole cohesive match the title thing sure if that happened on an album i would have killed this album sure i would have destroyed this project because when you say album to me i I want enough music, actual music, to consist of a body of work. Yeah, if it's 14 songs and five of them are interludes, then yeah, it's still probably easy. See, for me, this goes like, listen, when you're putting your album out,
Starting point is 01:21:57 you know the label, your A&R is going to come say, hey, whatever they call it, one song needs to be unrevealed a week leading up to yeah so i buy all those songs so jasmine put out two songs three songs i purchased them all then you buy the album the songs you purchased earlier don't show up in your album and it's just a mess it's just a mess that's all uh on an ep i'm not mad right no i had the songs i had already so i don't count them as new when i get the project i get the project i love the features i love the songs i didn't hear and there's a bunch of interludes that make this make sense
Starting point is 01:22:33 i'm pleased right that's enough for me i like short albums though or eps i don't know the fuck you want to call it me too i do too but this is this is jasmine this is somebody that artist that we trust yeah and it's not gonna take us long once she puts something out and we 10 minutes of listening to it we know okay she got it right and she definitely got this right
Starting point is 01:22:51 yeah I love I love the interludes too to the title like I wasn't mad at at interludes being part of an EP in a new type of way when you're calling the shit
Starting point is 01:23:01 ho tales and each interlude is a different perspective on what we deem a woman to be a hoe as i think is perfect and we love jasmine sullivan for hurt jasmine sullivan and break up jasmine sullivan now she fucking on this album and i think it's amazing i just don't think that the artist today let me not talk to ours day I just don't think that stories sell the way that they once did I'll say that stories as far as stories albums like
Starting point is 01:23:33 when your album is a story like a whole concept album yeah I just think that's I think the fans today they're just microwave just we care about the songs and and that's it yeah like i love these interludes too i did i thought it was a great job oh while i'm on this topic uh really brief sidebar because the artist hey that's back to my artist point tory lanez put his first album out was doing all that interlude shit and we treated him like trey songs on the remix of the power theme song he's like yo fam what are you doing yo don't do this again and he came back and he didn't do it lma i don't know if someone has told you
Starting point is 01:24:16 but stop it what's she doing i'm about about to say, what did Ella Mai do? Ella Mai only makes the greatest songs ever and then talks on the end of every one of them for three minutes about shit. She's trying to give us a sexy accent. None of us give a fuck about it. She's just trying to show us a sexy accent, that's all. All right, stay right there for a minute. Has she put out something recently? Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:24:43 And she didn't talk on it, but that was what she did on her album. Yeah, yeah. She wouldn't put the single out and talk all at the end of it. Right. See, I don't mind when interludes are like that, though, when it's part of the song. I don't like when the interlude is like a whole song, so you think you're getting 19 songs, but it's really only 12 songs, and there's bad interludes. It's weird.
Starting point is 01:25:02 Put it where I can skip it. Put it at the end of the song so I can skip it. I bring to you through words I sing Fam, fam Hold up Just listen Beautiful song
Starting point is 01:25:12 This is close Ella Mai Y'all know I played a remake With BJ the Chicago Kid YouTube, we jamming right now Just vibe out Look Look
Starting point is 01:25:20 You got a little video Where you jamming You got your LEDs on It's just playing on a playlist. Oh, she like to hook up. Come on, don't do that. Here we go. I, inner.
Starting point is 01:25:37 I bring to you through words I sing. My flaws, my dreams. And all from within. I. I would like to hear this if I had a little Malbec. You know what I mean? A little... A little Tim Hortons.
Starting point is 01:25:52 You know what I mean? Like, yeah, let me put that on a little cab. You know, why not? Fuck it. A Malbec. I'm not mad at some spoken word, man. You know what I'm saying? Why not?
Starting point is 01:26:00 I'm not mad at some spoken word. We let her get it off all the time and we love it. Yeah. Ella can't get her shit off. Fam, I'm not going to let spoken word we let her get it off all the time and we love it yeah ella can't get her shit off fam i'm not gonna let you do that to her her has bars her definitely has bars she be killing when when she get the talking corday might as well be spitting like reason might as well she goes she should be in dreamville no i'll be honest if i'm wale i feel a way about her when she get on her spoken word shit. I thought that her verse on, what was that?
Starting point is 01:26:30 Was that the Lord is coming? Whatever verse she put on the beginning, I thought that was a contender for verse of the year. That's how I feel about when she does that. It's Lauren-esque. Sure. She has a certain message she definitely puts in her story. She hits it home, though. She hits it home, though.
Starting point is 01:26:47 She's like girl Talib, right? Lyrics stuck to your wrist? Her definitely sticks to my wrist. Right at the end of it, right? No. No. All right, my bad. What were we on?
Starting point is 01:27:00 Jasmine Sullivan. Listen, the title of this album is Hotels. Love it. Why am I so stupid that I didn't know this album would be about tales from hoes? Honestly.
Starting point is 01:27:10 What the fuck you thought it was gonna be? It was right there. They always trick me with the E-A-U-X. Oh, the spelling of it? Nah.
Starting point is 01:27:19 Make it a little French and you can use it in New Orleans. It's a New Orleans thing. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'm not from New Orleans. You're not. Well, you like New Orleans. I love New Orleans thing. Yeah. I'm not from New Orleans. You're not.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Well, you like New Orleans. I thought it was London. I love New Orleans. I thought it was a London thing. I'm like, they spell that really weird over there. It's French. They probably do it in Montreal, too. Wait, they're French New Orleans?
Starting point is 01:27:39 Yes. Yes, Joe. Creole is French. The French Quarter? The French Quarter. I've heard of it. Are they New Orleans in France? Probably. Maybe, yeah. Ha, ha, ha. Creole is French. The French Quarter. The French Quarter. Are they New Orleans and France? Probably, maybe, yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:48 Stumped. Stumped. Got you. That's where you got it. You flipped it. You found it. Stumped the geniuses. Shark tank who?
Starting point is 01:28:03 Shut up, Rory. I like when the people stump the sharks. Take that, Kevin, whatever his name is. He always got an attitude. There's always a nigga that's grumpy. Yeah. Why is he always so grumpy? You rich.
Starting point is 01:28:17 That's my guy. I know. Yo, back to this. Hotels. Great project. Parks, you were telling me about the performance on NPR. Oh, yeah. Hotels. Great project. Parks, you were telling me about the performance on NPR. Oh, yeah. They did a tiny desk, and it was great.
Starting point is 01:28:32 It was great. Jasmine looks good, sounds great. Yeah, brought her out, the band. The band sounded real good. Backup singers sounded good. And I like how NPR shifted the tiny desk to do your own thing and send it to us Rory
Starting point is 01:28:47 I'm gonna play a song of Jasmine's new album for a lyric breakdown this song is called On It featuring Ari Lennox it's an amazing record have you heard it?
Starting point is 01:28:56 it is yes of course before I play it shout out to Cardiac you gentlemen have heard it as well Cardiac did this one too right?
Starting point is 01:29:05 yep that damn Cardiac he this one too, right? Yep. That damn Cardiac. He's moving, man. What a guy. Yeah. I love him. Me too. See, now he's somebody that moved to LA and it worked.
Starting point is 01:29:18 He got popping. He stayed hungry. Yeah. It worked. Yeah. I see what he's doing out there and why he went. The vision is... He's body and shit.
Starting point is 01:29:27 The vision is crystallized for me. That wasn't... Those opportunities didn't present themselves in New York. Stay hungry. Shout out to Cardiac, man. You are all of my favorite R&B joints. I'm still not off of Damage by her. Yeah, that's...
Starting point is 01:29:41 So Cardiac is doing great. Y'all have heard this record too, I'm assuming. My question to y'all, walk with me here. I have some thoughts. Jasmine Sullivan is one of the greatest vocalists on the planet currently, is my opinion. Absolutely. Big facts.
Starting point is 01:29:58 She got Ariana beat by a little bit. I'm not doing this to you right now. But Jasmine's been on that list for me. Ari, I don't have there today, right? It's your opinion. Yeah, of course. Yet somehow... Very talented vocalist.
Starting point is 01:30:17 1,000%. And is in that conversation for sure. That's an opinion. But what I want to talk to you about is I guess cadence and presence from R&B vocalists Ari goes first on this record and smoked this but she gave me some of what guru gangstar guru gives me and it don't matter if Nas is on the song with him guru's voice is guru's voice and his cadence and tone is just going to always overwhelm so he's going to always sound at home you know what I mean and that's what that's that's why Ari is so dope to me because not
Starting point is 01:31:00 only can she sing for real she has such an interesting tone that no one else has. You can't get her confused with anyone else. So her presence on a record is much different than a traditional vocalist. It's the raspiness in her voice. It's just a different tone that separates her from other vocalists to me. And she's our black aunt that's younger than us.
Starting point is 01:31:21 Honestly, that persona helps for me. I like the black aunt. Yeah, I definitely hear some music music differently you know what i'm saying yeah for sure yeah i like that you have some of that mothering auntie shit in you but like yeah that's what i'm saying jasmine came on on the second verse and it seemed like she wasn't trying to play no games yet it was a perfect marriage of ari's cadence and j Jasmine's just like ability did you take that from this at all yeah very much so I I hate the juxtaposition shit that we always talk about or I always talk about on this podcast what does that mean tones together are perfect and I can't hear y'all when I speak so it's fine go ahead go ahead um but no they make sense to me because they have
Starting point is 01:32:04 two completely different tones but can actually sing so yeah no i took the same thing got it got it what did you think of should i just play it well i want to get into the the second line of the first which i guess would be the chorus at this point at this point. Before I keep, before I, it's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:31 It's true. It told you what it is. Fazy, reverby, electric. It told you what was about to happen from the jump. That's nice. Yo, but listen, there's this string.
Starting point is 01:32:43 I know y'all think I'm joking when I be saying it. Like, I keep saying when Drake album come out, I don't there's this string. I know y'all think I'm joking when I be saying it. Like, I keep saying when Drake album come out, I don't want to sleep alone. Like, there's going to be a flurry of music. I don't want to sleep alone. What's wrong with him, man? I don't want to sleep alone. He's 40 years old, man.
Starting point is 01:33:04 He don't want to sleep alone once Drake drops. What are you talking about? Go sleep with Drake. What the fuck is he talking about? Oh my God. But why is that so funny to y'all? That's hilarious, man.
Starting point is 01:33:16 But can somebody explain to me why? That you say when Drake drops you don't want to sleep alone? You should be stoned to death for saying some shit like that. sleep alone yes Drake hate sleeping alone too we got it I know I see what you were trying to tie and correlate because it's a whole album of lord knows sleepless nights this is a public service announcement to our youtube Instagram comment section. Though I am an introverted recluse, I am now in search of new friends.
Starting point is 01:33:53 And someone to sleep with. Preferably. Yeah, yeah. A friend to sleep with. Yeah, a friend to sleep with. Isn't that the best? Yeah, that's the best. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:34:01 Great times. Great times. Greatest ever. Yo, why do y'all make a mockery out of everything I say you just say not everything you say I'm not talking about
Starting point is 01:34:10 Drake's album that just makes me sound like a fruitcake why y'all like just like why do y'all persist on making me come off like a fruitcake
Starting point is 01:34:20 no it just was it just was funny the way you said it we don't do anything yeah fruitcake is offensive to fruit, so you can't do that. Yes, and Lord knows
Starting point is 01:34:28 you don't want to upset the groups. I was saying that, oh my God, pound cake. I stay with the pounding cake. That's what you can't sleep alone with? You just can't understand it. It's like, I can't sleep
Starting point is 01:34:41 after hearing that. That bar is so trash. Why did I think that would resonate in 2000? Oh, my God. Why did I think they would say, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, pound is up. All right. I got a few fails. I get it. It's okay.
Starting point is 01:35:07 It's okay. Listen, we don't win them all. Yeah, no. Jordan didn't make every shot. That's a fact. That's a fact. He didn't make every shot. I don't remember what I was... Oh, I'm talking about
Starting point is 01:35:18 just the certified lover boy title. What y'all look like fucking just riding around trying to be hardcore listening to certified lover boy hey they still in the bahamas do they want to leave they will not no wow would you everything on the boy i'm not going home yeah for real fuck am i going i'm leaving when he hey when the when the card cut off let me know i'm out no no one that is currently in the bahamas
Starting point is 01:35:43 are being pictured together they're doing a great job they're doing a great job whoever's on top of that he's doing a great they are smooth yeah my cousin whose son does the rory and maul drop was in the bahamas last week and said fam i just i just go to the bar now like there's just a card that says Drake. I'm not with him. I just happen to be staying here. You got it. He said, I haven't paid for a thing yet. Look at Drake. Look at the generosity. Yo.
Starting point is 01:36:11 Taking care of Rory's cousin. It's 2021. I'll just share some funny shit. Sometimes you see that shit and be like, man, I should go bump into one of you niggas. I should go fuck your whole rich nigga party. Oh shit, Joe. Yo, what Joe do?
Starting point is 01:36:30 Yeah. Oh, you still here? I had to see you last week. Nah, still there. I didn't know you was still. You know what I mean? Boat still docked. Yeah, still there.
Starting point is 01:36:39 The boat. Still there. How about you? Nah, yeah, man. My flight. Yeah, my flight getting out of here around. Oh, you here too? Yeah, fam.
Starting point is 01:36:48 I've only been posting for two weeks. Yeah, that's the dangerous thing about fronting on the level up. Like, you'll get around some nigga like your front worked, and now it's like. I'm poor. Now what? I'm no one. I'm a loser. Wait, wait'm no one. I'm a loser. Wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 01:37:08 Oh, yeah. Look, they were playing some little game out there that I'm too poor to play. Looks like poker. Hold them, maybe. Looks like a little hold them. Could be wrong. And this is Drake, Meek, Meek's millionaire buddies, Lil Baby, and other people that I don't recognize,
Starting point is 01:37:33 but they look to be having a blast. It looks like a great time, man. I get so happy to see young success. What? Gambling? Hold'em? Oh, me neither. I was never big on that. Me neither.
Starting point is 01:37:41 I like rolling dice, though. No, I'm cool. I feel some type of way you walk away with my stacks. But not for real money. Like, a little couple of dollars. No one's real money on that table. Oh, no, I know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:51 No, I can't. But I guess if you have, like, a lot, a lot of money, it's a little different. You get to a point as you age that. Yeah, you gamble with spades, right? I don't think that's a gamble at all. I'm better than everybody. Where's the gamble at? Well, that's how they feel at Flame Focus. That's better than everybody. Where's the gamble at? That's how they feel
Starting point is 01:38:05 at playing poker. That's free money. Who wants to play spades? YouTube commenters. I'm looking for friends and rich spade players. Yeah, I don't necessarily look at that as a gamble.
Starting point is 01:38:17 Spades is a little bit more skill. I mean, poker and all that shit is a skill too, but... Spades, when it comes to gambling, is more elementary. Yeah. Like, let's just have some fun.
Starting point is 01:38:28 The cards go. Like, some of us are better than others. But when you start talking about, like, Pinochle and the different types of pokers and, like... Yeah, that gets a little too different. Yeah. Blackjack's fun too. Blackjack can be fun.
Starting point is 01:38:42 But, like, the guy at the poker table, the guy with the most money has an advantage and that's not the case in spades right yeah and they're usually the best poker player
Starting point is 01:38:50 that sucks yeah that's a hard combo yeah don't be the best and have money yeah yo fam
Starting point is 01:38:59 every single movie I saw about people breaking into the white house or the capitol it was tough to do. Not in real life. Did y'all?
Starting point is 01:39:09 Not in real life. Cops just open the gates. Go ahead. Did anybody see White House down? Did I have the only version of that? I've seen it. Man, they made the food truck blow up. I was in bed blowing. Well, the White House and the Capitol are different.
Starting point is 01:39:25 I had no idea the food truck was a bomb. No. Definitely not. Listen to what you're... Repeat that 10 times to yourself. That's just the times we're in right now. We got to compare breaking into the Capitol or the White House. That's where we're at. It's a slightly different game, I think.
Starting point is 01:39:42 That's where we're at. Fam, they won't even let me sightsee in D.C. No. Can't get anywhere near the gate. I might have had to get my social security number to get in the African American Museum up there. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:39:58 All I'm saying is in White House down, they needed to blow up a food truck for these things. They needed 9 million asians it took mad of them niggas to do this yeah they had to kill people this wasn't as simple as a yo pardon me yeah do you open that gate sir yeah let me let me get right there actually you know i'll just climb the i'll climb the wall yeah what time you get off they took a selfie. Yeah, yeah. See, for me, the white-on-white selfie is the new Confederate flag. Y'all got a bathroom in here? Y'all just got to go use the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:40:36 I'll hit him, too. He's with me. It's like a slap in the face because for the last however many years, well, first of all, it was a slap in the face because Breonna Taylor was murdered while she was peacefully asleep after a long day at work with her significant other in the house. That's not falling on me. Sandra
Starting point is 01:40:54 Bland made a U-turn still. A U-turn still. You know how many U-turns I've made? Like, that doesn't fall on me. Look what white people have to do here to get shot. And it wasn't a lot of shooting. Rest in peace to... Rest in peace to that terrorist.
Starting point is 01:41:11 And prayers and condolences to her family. Still, because that's who I am. But just look what I had to have. Hey, hey, hey. Anyway. Let's get back to the lyrics. Yeah, I was ready to just break down Ari and Jasmine saying, I'll spit on it it i don't know where y'all took us i want to talk about
Starting point is 01:41:29 that i was just saying in the last few years all of the courageous pictures we've seen of black and brown boys girls men and women standing up in the face of just American terrorism and just all of this nasty shit like the picture that beautiful strong black woman that seemed to be unfazed when she was standing in front of troops I think that was in wherever that was it's been too many catastrophes to remember them all the picture of the guy that was
Starting point is 01:41:58 throwing back the grenade the flash bomb when they threw it at him like all of those pictures are fucking historic powerful monumental some of them made it to the cover magazines absolutely so when white people they eat one so when the evil whites do the evil white shit and then get to take pictures selfies with the other evil whites that work for the evil white yeah like it's like that's the confederate flag to me yeah like cool that y'all have the confederate flag in the capitol just parading it around that's cool it's cool that y'all hung up the noose outside because i mean yeah all of that's familiar i mean
Starting point is 01:42:38 that's all i've ever lived in so i mean that's all i know the evil whites to do. Selfies is new. It's a new slap. Oh, and that too? It's a new slap in the face. Yeah, yeah. That's all. Now. Get back to these beautiful guitars.
Starting point is 01:42:57 Romance. Do y'all play music when y'all fucking? Yeah. Anything. The TV could be on. It could be a shootout in the belly. I wouldn't give a fuck. Give a fuck.
Starting point is 01:43:11 What's playing? You specifically fast forward to the shootout? No way, but I'm... More fucks to the town. American gangster? I'm with him. I'm with him on this, but sometimes
Starting point is 01:43:22 the awkward moment comes where you just fucking took bullets, gunshots on the town. And then the young lady, while she's doing whatever she's doing, mounting you and pleasuring you. She'll say, can you put something else on? Do you have a playlist? No, I don't know where the remote is. Do you have a speaker in here?
Starting point is 01:43:42 Yo, one time a girl said that to me. I put on my dual connecting bowsies in the room. She sounded like I was DJ-ing that shit. Like, nigga, you had this over here? You had this over here? We've been fucking the Lord, you know what I'm saying? Nigga, if you don't play some SZA. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:44:03 Oh, anyway. Oh, man. Anyway. Do you believe that some women can make you orgasm without touching you? No. No. Me? Yeah. I'm going to need a little action.
Starting point is 01:44:24 It hasn't happened yet. Oh, okay. I'm not going to say it's impossible. It hasn't happened yet. Thank you. Think greater of queens. No? Yeah. I'm going to need a little action. I'm not saying it hasn't happened yet. Oh, okay. I'm not going to say it's impossible. It hasn't happened yet. Thank you. Think greater of Queens. No, no. I'm not saying I wouldn't. It just hasn't happened yet.
Starting point is 01:44:31 She got some good-ass pussy. She'll come without touching you. Listen to how stupid men are. Yo, listen to what he just said. Yo. You got to have some good-ass pussy. You want to make me come without touching me? Without touching me?
Starting point is 01:44:43 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's fire. Yeah, yeah. It better be. It better be. Or maybe not. But why does it have to be? Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 01:44:50 I don't know. You can make me come without touching me. Why does your pussy have to be fire? That's good birth control. Okay, without her touching you and without you touching yourself? Yo, sometimes don't you want to report back to the chick about your comparative analysis between her vagina and another's? You're going to get shot.
Starting point is 01:45:04 All right, see, now you're walking a dangerous line. This is why you got stabbed. I'm asking you. It wasn't tolerable that I did it. It wasn't tolerable that I did it. It was this. Fam, that's simple research and development. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 01:45:16 Research the closest hospital. That's R&D on the planet. Fam, that's comparing data. I know. Compare the data. How long these stitches going to take to come out? You guys, it's a secret. There's no girls in here.
Starting point is 01:45:25 I'm asking you guys. Ask us what? No. The fuck I just asked you. Internally, yeah. No. Internally, you do. I wouldn't bring it to her.
Starting point is 01:45:33 You might run it by the team or something. See, but that's what I'm saying. I'm saying, internally, you might tell yourself the truth. Yeah. Somehow, you are bringing it to her. The chick with the whacker of the vajayjays. Somehow, you letting her know. Yeah, when you just stop it to her the chick with the whacker of the vajayjays somehow you letting her know yeah when you just stop fucking with her
Starting point is 01:45:49 that's how you let her know but then it looks like you've ghosted and you're inconsiderate and you're all these things and really the truth of it is nah this was a very logical decision if you felt that
Starting point is 01:45:57 you wouldn't want to feel that right right fuck up this conversation conversations intolerable is there a rewind button on I think Joe's catching an O on the picket. Say it in past tense. Say sat. Disgusting.
Starting point is 01:46:35 All right, all right, fine. This is not the Moan Room. That's my friend, buddy. Stop right there. Stop right there. Stop right there. Protect her, Rory. Protect Rory.
Starting point is 01:46:43 I hate that. I hate that. I hate that. I hate that. Stop right there. Stop right there. Stop right there. Protect her, Rory. Protect Rory. I hate that line. I do too. Tell me why you deserve it.
Starting point is 01:46:54 I don't deserve it, but you want me to be, and I want to be, so shut up. I don't even want to be. You want to fuck me. You're asking to sit here. This is not even... That's a fact. That's a fuck me. You're asking to sit here. This is not even...
Starting point is 01:47:06 That's a fact. That's a good point. You're asking me to provide a service. This is not even a chair. Now you want a dual lap. You want me to be a Swiss Army knife or some shit. No.
Starting point is 01:47:17 No. Yeah, I hate that line. We got... I think that line just makes women feel a little better before they perform that act. Like, lie to me and tell me why you deserve it. Tell me why you deserve it is like them getting their kinky shit off. You know he cheated all week and doesn't deserve a thing.
Starting point is 01:47:34 You know I deserve nothing. I'm a black man in America. That's true. I could see why a chick would want you to put some music on. They don't want me to put shit on. You actually do have fucking. They don't want me to put shit on. You asked me do I put music on. They don't want music on. You asked me do I put music on.
Starting point is 01:47:51 No. Mo, stick with the gunshots. Yeah, god damn it. I'm just saying. They can't argue that. Yeah, whoa. Yeah, they can't argue that. Aggressive.
Starting point is 01:47:59 Yeah, I deserve it. Reparations. reparations I'm gross she wants to sit on a penis but I'm gross there's nothing wrong with her wanting to do that that's what I'm saying and you're calling me gross for your moans yeah you know what's corny too man I think let me look who's in the audience oh this ain't even look muscle memory let me see who out here let me see who out here
Starting point is 01:48:48 let me see what's going on what can I scroll cause this is cause this is what I don't like and judge me not but like they put on this beautiful music these beautiful guitars
Starting point is 01:49:01 these beautiful songstresses and they talk about all these things I wanna say you gon' feel great nigga all this shit right music, these beautiful guitars, these beautiful songstresses, and they talk about all these things. I want to say you're going to feel great, nigga. All this shit, right? And it's triggering. That was a great cover. I think that was it.
Starting point is 01:49:13 Those were the words. That wasn't it. It's fine. But like, you know when I asked y'all about losing your favorite penis sucker? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. What about the girl? Shut up, screen man.
Starting point is 01:49:27 Look, that nigga don't know what to put on the screen. Look, ain't shit up there. What about the girl that comes over and just dominates and leaves? Oh, man. She's a gem. That's what I'm saying, man. So this song is reminding me of them. Because they talking about getting in their bag.
Starting point is 01:49:48 Yeah, basically making you squirm. What happens when you lose that one? The one that just knows your body. Yeah. Yeah, save on. Hey, come here. Yeah, you over here, man. I know.
Starting point is 01:50:00 Chill, chill. Don't come over. Right? She know your body better than them bitches, right? She get to the spot without you even asking, directing. And then, once she realizes that, oh man, who's in the audience? Who's in the audience is her last name. It's y'all.
Starting point is 01:50:22 I'm saying, once might maybe go awry right like the bullshit is when she'll let you beat again but she won't dominate your body the way that you're used to like she won't she give you that
Starting point is 01:50:34 you don't even deserve this no more and that's what this line is bringing me to so it's triggering like it is for Rory but don't do that if you're not going to give me what you always give me
Starting point is 01:50:44 I'd rather not do anything with. But don't do that. If you're not going to give me what you always give me, I'd rather not do anything with you. Yeah. Don't switch it up. Yeah. Don't switch it up. Speak for yourself. Nah, nah, nah.
Starting point is 01:50:52 Fuck that. Don't switch it up. Nah, don't switch it up. See, that's when you got to tell her that we deserve to share each other. Fuck our whole shit up. All of this is spoken like, first of all, this is spoken like white mamba, Roy.
Starting point is 01:51:06 You're great. You don't have to explain yourself. Maul's been great for years. This is spoken like a gentleman that's been thriving in his single life. Parks loves his girl and somehow became a lot cooler when he started fucking with Dominicans. So he's awesome too. Don't y'all mislead our audience that way
Starting point is 01:51:27 I'm here to tell you it ain't really that way for everybody out here in like oh no I know that single world I know that it's only but so many
Starting point is 01:51:36 no's and standards and nah I wouldn't do that to you and nah but then now a couple months done went by yeah
Starting point is 01:51:42 dry so now when she treating you like see they wait till they get you there. Mm-hmm. They wait till they catch you when you vulnerable. They can see when you're not really popping. You're just posting food, nigga.
Starting point is 01:51:52 Yeah. This nigga ain't going nowhere. You ain't doing nothing. Then they say, no, I'm not fucking you like I used to. You get a little taste. That pride shit y'all talking about, it goes out the window if she got good pussy. That's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:52:03 If her pussy's good enough, you're going to want to feel that again. Oh, for sure. Definitely. But it's just like, damn, but don't. I tried to send somebody a picture of the Becks
Starting point is 01:52:10 one time with a picture of the hookah like, yo, miss when we used to do this. She still ain't replied. She don't listen at all. I tried to get back. It was a lonely night,
Starting point is 01:52:22 wasn't I? Yeah, nah. You tried to go through the people that you fucked good Yeah yeah Like yo who might hit back Yeah nah Yo yo
Starting point is 01:52:30 Remember when we used to Nothing no response And now you mad That you like damn I was horny Why I sent that Try to unsend It's already been seen
Starting point is 01:52:39 It's already She already got it yeah Nah the fuck that She's seen it And she on Insta live With like eight of her home girls and two niggas with chains. How the fuck's she
Starting point is 01:52:51 with these niggas with chains on? I ain't have chains. I didn't even know she liked niggas with chains. I'm going to get a chain. I want a chain. You still handling your shit? I'm going to get a chain.
Starting point is 01:53:02 I need to get a chain. That's why she ain't hit back. That's why she ain't hit back. That's why she ain't hit back. I ain't got a chain on. What a asshole. Joe walked into a whole different hilarious topic of just how you talk to chicks that you know you laid it down with and chicks that you kind of felt a little indifferent afterwards and how you speak to them and can text them at certain hours like nah i ain't beat that well i can't text her at
Starting point is 01:53:29 this hour yeah no you definitely know men dead we always know we always know you get some of them get the yo stop playing with me that's the ones that you know like come on i'll be tearing your back out and then the ones you be like yo you still acting funny that's the ones that you're not too sure like i don't think i put it down I don't think I wore high I'm good enough to be talking to this aggressive like
Starting point is 01:53:47 yo I hate when you do this I hate when you act like this it's real though that's real shit you know who you can talk to
Starting point is 01:53:57 aggressive the chicks that got good dick for me oh man am I the one sentence bandit nah your day was good word put you on later that's dope Oh man Am I the one sentence bandit Nah your day was good Word

We were on the shade room with this game. She followed Mulatto back there. Don't do that. That's the one you said. The ones you don't know
Starting point is 01:54:30 if you knocked down good enough, you always got to send the memes first. Like get a laugh out of them. Send a good meme through. A little warm up.
Starting point is 01:54:38 Loosen up the cooch. Got to loosen up the cooch. With a meme. With a meme. Yeah, that's how you loosen it up. Send a meme through a meme Yeah that's how you loosen it up Send a meme through
Starting point is 01:54:46 Send a good meme Yo while we're on this I've been having a blast With the black guy Black girl memes Oh my gosh That's what I'm saying It is my favorite meme
Starting point is 01:54:55 In the world Some of them are real bad Some of them are real true Some of them are real true The bad ones I skip Yeah But the good ones Nah that move to Atlanta one
Starting point is 01:55:04 When we both broke That was hilarious Nah you see the one i love story you see the one i posted today come on hey girl i'm about to drive by his house come on girl let's go girl you don't need that nigga girl just let him go nigga tan her back out an hour later. Oh, man. That used to be my go-to, too. Driving by the crib until your heart got broken. Nigga seen the hoopers over there. It's like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:55:35 They just finished playing at the Garden. Hey, now I'm watching his schedule. When is the home game, nigga? Yo, they don't got that road trip. When is the road trip? Yo, all the niggas... Let me not do that. Yo, all the niggas want to get it to your head.
Starting point is 01:55:55 Nah, don't do that. Can't do that. We can't do that. We can't go there. We can't go there. I want to pause so bad. We can't go there. We can't go there.
Starting point is 01:56:04 We can't do that. These want to pause so bad. We can't go there. We can't go there. We can't do that. This nigga signed him again? Nah, we've been needing rebounds, though. I can see why they did that. Yeah. Yeah. We got to clean the offensive glass up a little bit. Yeah, I get it.
Starting point is 01:56:17 Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Damn, he's staying with the Nets? Yeah. Yeah. Fuck right.
Starting point is 01:56:22 This nigga will not leave town. I thought he retired. Who is the Piston GM? Trade this nigga to Detroit. Somewhere. Oh my God. Yo. Thought he was going to go overseas.
Starting point is 01:56:38 Yo, that. That's some funny shit. Yo, speaking of, right, and we not on sports right now. John Wall's faster than everybody. I'm on that nigga's dick again. I've been talking about the nigga even when he was injured. But now he's back. I've never seen nothing like this before in my entire life.
Starting point is 01:56:59 He got that good surgery? No, he's back. Have you seen him? No. Have y'all seen him? Yeah, he's back. He's balling. No, no, no, no no no no no no forget if he is balling that's great people are planted in defensive stances in front of him
Starting point is 01:57:12 he goes right by them and looks at them i've never seen nothing like this yeah he's back look at the amount of times john wall gets right to the rack. In slow motion, almost. And stares at Lightning. Why were you standing in front of me? How could you be that fast off of some type of surgery? Off of two. Is he faster than Darren Fox? With the ball.
Starting point is 01:57:39 Pause. Tell me. Honestly, I'm asking. It's close. It's close. He might be a step slow. He might be a step slow. But if him, listen to that.
Starting point is 01:57:48 Darren Fox is what, 23, 24? Yeah, he's young. He's good. This nigga's 30-something off of surgery? Yeah. And he's a step slower? Man, John Wall's that dude, man. He's more effective when he's speaking.
Starting point is 01:57:56 When James Harden get out of Houston, Turkey Leg Hut better look out. It is going down. I might meet him there. Nah, I'm going to go over and see John. Nah, man. Go check out what John and them is doing. Oh, my God. All right.
Starting point is 01:58:16 Who can we get back to? Who can we get back to? About to pull up. Hey! About to pull up. Hey. Take this water and hydrate, bitch. Oh. Talk that shit, Ari. She call them a bitch? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:36 I like that. Nah, don't call me no bitch, man. We ain't doing that. Don't call me one, because I'm not playing with you. But if you did, that shit might be kind of all right. Depends on how you say it, you know? Oh, man. If you're offering me some water.
Starting point is 01:58:50 I could be into that. Take this water in hydrate, bitch. Especially if it's not really water because if she's saying it and like, no, actually have some water, you little bitch, then I'm going to be mad. Yeah, she's thirsty. But if she's referring to her vagina, then. She is. Here's the thing.
Starting point is 01:59:01 And that's why this is kink. Is there any way I could call her and it connect probably not no all right never mind no no no hopefully you feel better on wednesday and you can call her wednesday because we're supposed to have jasmine wednesday well you could you could you could three-way call through one of us no i would like to speak to ari and jasmine in the same session. It just makes sense. All right, we'll do that then. She is talking about her vagina.
Starting point is 01:59:32 She is, yes. And I believe that Ari's vagina can hydrate someone. Yeah. I believe it. I believe that. I'm going to stay out of women's business, but I mean, she compared it to the Chesapeake Bay from my understanding is a pretty
Starting point is 01:59:50 big body of water that is very wet so I'm going to take her metaphors for what they are at the Cheesecake Factory no the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and the Cheesecake Factory are not the same thing definitely not the same Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and the Cheesecake Factory are not the same thing. Definitely not the same.
Starting point is 02:00:06 Chesapeake is that road stop when you're driving through, right? Yeah. Right over there on the side? On the side. Yo, they could have just said sit on it for the whole song. Yeah, it'll work. Just riffed. And I would have been sold.
Starting point is 02:00:24 My house would have been a streaming farm. Yo, that's the only reason it's getting a lyric breakdown. But sit on it. Oh, hold on. See? Stop. See, stop. Because that's not right. Actually, I cut it off too soon. Like, that's not right.
Starting point is 02:01:03 I know that's your friend, Rory, but this ain't right that Jasmine tried to do that. That is is my friend and i love her dearly me too her music um no as a person listen to this Please be a lady. I need my red t-shirt with different positions. I feel a need. I want you. Nah, I've never fanned myself before.
Starting point is 02:01:44 I just turned the AC on in the crib after that. And you fanned yourself, man. I fanned myself like a church lady. Did you hear that? Yeah. That's not normal control of voice. Yeah. What is wrong with her?
Starting point is 02:02:06 Was that Jasmine or Ari? Both of them. I'm specifically speaking about Jasmine, but when they got together, even that was the perfect marriage. There's nothing bad to say about this, but I didn't even know Jasmine could do that with her voice. It's like she tried to match Ari on the weird tone, but she tried something right there. No, this is a R&B songstress exercise handbook that they did. Because Jasmine, we know, she's one of those voices.
Starting point is 02:02:40 With sexual shit. Yeah. They're having fun let's add that foot into it too because it's tough to do this type of r&b uh class master class if you will talking about sitting on a dick and it sound this beautiful this is different is what i'm getting at okay i already know where he's going. He's giving me some bullshit. I already know. Yeah, no, I know where he's going. What, man? When a chick sits on your dick, y'all pump it back. That's my move.
Starting point is 02:03:14 Y'all pump back. Not at first. Y'all gotta catch the rhythm. Y'all gotta catch the rhythm first. Yeah, y'all gotta catch the rhythm first. I'm still alive back here. I'm still awake. Plus, you gotta take a little, you know,
Starting point is 02:03:28 they might get a little tired up there. If you try to pump back too fast, though, it could fuck. Yeah, you gotta just let her catch her rhythm. But what if she never catch it? Well, that's when you gotta take over. That's when you tap her. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:03:38 Yo, you get up. Yo, look out. Let me go to the store real quick. Yo, hand me that downstairs. I'm sorry. I want to hear Brandy. Leave my rutting with different positions. I feel on the edge. I want to hear Brandy. On this?
Starting point is 02:04:11 On this album. Stop, don't do that, Jasmine. Yeah. I want to hear her and Brandy. This was like right out of the Brandy handbook. That little move right there. I want to hear that. This shit with Ari is great. this shit with her is great you know i love her that song
Starting point is 02:04:30 is crazy here's my thing with this being an ep what do you have in the tuck for your album oh yeah i forgot there's an ep like if you comfortable letting this rock on the ep front you're right rory what the fuck are you holding this record that her record it's another record on here like and is she coming soon like has she said anywhere that there's let's see i wrote hotels to give a voice to the brother oh way to go scream it can you go back please i i uh she said nothing about the album the album is coming and it won't take six years for now vibe with this and i'll see you when corona's over so we can sing to each other she's waiting see she's waiting she got a lot of music in the talk waiting for corona to be over but when she started with the first two singles before the Her shit, I thought it was an album.
Starting point is 02:05:30 So maybe it was an album and she just said, fuck it, let me wait. But if you comfortable throwing these records with these features on an EP, I'm terrified of what you got in the tuck for an album. Because this EP is crazy. This EP is album-esque. Definitely definitely I just can't wait to hear it congratulations to Jasmine Sullivan on an amazing EP her album is gonna go crazy though yeah it's just some people some people you could just feel it like you just know but you see the vibe she in yeah I didn't always. You didn't always trust her? For good music?
Starting point is 02:06:07 I mean, it may not. For good music and a good voice, yes. But, like, album top to bottom. Okay, gotcha. I didn't always. Gotcha. But, yeah, I'm waiting for that right now. And please, Jasmine, you and Brandy, please. I'm clip riding, but I don't care.
Starting point is 02:06:25 They've never worked together? I don't have anything in my serato jasmine never wrote nothing for brandy that seems odd to me well i don't know about writ uh what she may have written okay i want to hear vocals from them both on the same record. Same. While we're on vocals and music, I'm seeing little stories about a joint with Russ, Lil Baby, and one other person that I'm excited about. Boy Wonder Produce. Oh, Boy Wonder Produce. Yep, that's out.
Starting point is 02:07:00 Yeah, but that's an actual person on the track. I think it was just them two. No, it's out. I'm saying when Boy Wonder is producing, I count him as a personality because he's going to produce. I got you. How's this sound? Sounds real good. We just all have to admit we was wrong about Russ.
Starting point is 02:07:19 We did that already. Yeah. We did that already. Yeah, but we have to double down because we were super wrong. Oh, he got the belly blue lights. Oh, shit. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 02:07:29 Her tongue's a little too short for me, but okay. Tongue shaming. Y'all don't do that? Tongue shaming. No, I like the lizard tongue, but I'm not going to. Not going to shy away from it? Not ever. I'm not going to shy away from a smaller tongue.
Starting point is 02:07:44 Don't put a short tongue on my body No sometimes You're good with a short tongue Not really normally For me I mean depend the throat Hmm Huh
Starting point is 02:07:56 I didn't hear you It's fine Now he cut out It's the texture The texture is important Um Yeah I didn't hear this record But shout out to Russ I do want to hear this record, but shout out to Russ.
Starting point is 02:08:05 I do want to hear this. I just knew that Russ would be one of the people to start the year off getting right to it. That's all. I knew that. He moves at his own pace. He does what he wants. I like it. Lil Baby is here and in the Bahamas.
Starting point is 02:08:18 Wow, man. He's everywhere. He just can't be stopped. He cannot be stopped. I'm telling you. What else is going on what else is happening hola pola pola pola
Starting point is 02:08:31 Trevor Lawrence declared oh yeah we said that last year a year and a half ago Trevor Lawrence is the last one to know that he was going pro
Starting point is 02:08:41 he was the last one to know hope he likes Jacksonville congratulations shit better than the Jets. That's true. Congratulations to that man. What else? Is that, whoa, was that New Division? Yeah, new single.
Starting point is 02:08:54 Dropped last night. Yo, if they don't highlight the new songs and the artists don't post that he had the song, how will I know the song? When I tell y'all I go on my phone and search everything, like I just search artists that I love,
Starting point is 02:09:08 how the fuck would I know that this is out? They posted it. And Division had one of the better projects last year, R&B for me. Yeah. I didn't shout it.
Starting point is 02:09:16 I don't know if I shouted them out, but that's important to say. Them out. I'm sorry. All right, I got to check this out. What was that other record
Starting point is 02:09:22 that popped up? The Griselda soundtrack. Oh, for the movie, for the movie, right? Did any of us here see the movie? No. It's not out. All of us. What does that mean?
Starting point is 02:09:32 Wait, hold up, y'all. What does that mean that it's not out? Say Vaughn and Alex? We see things that's not out. See things that's not out, boys. Yeah, see to know, boys. Hey hey y'all wait for the release date uh tell us about it y'all wait on line the cop oh y'all just saw that oh that finally dropped oh i didn't even know how was it received oh while we're in movies though maul brought up a great point we're off let's not
Starting point is 02:10:04 leave music but go ahead I don't want to leave music I just want to quickly point out cause it's on topic with us getting off topic that Maul said he misses the movie theater
Starting point is 02:10:11 and I couldn't agree with you more me too I'm missing the theater that was a me and Rem Saturday special yeah Saturday Sunday
Starting point is 02:10:18 early yeah I was the mad name mobster what actually one of the last things we did was snuck into a movie and that's where my

Starting point is 02:10:35 I mean the guy back there John Hey Come on what's up What's up It's like I'm running a little late Yeah I really like seeing The coming attractions
Starting point is 02:10:43 Yeah I get it You got the AMC card Yeah Like y'all It's a special'm running a little late. Yeah, I really like seeing the coming attractions. Yeah. I get in my mind. You got the AMC card and shit. Like, yo, it's a special moment. If you really want to see him, I'll hurry up, I guess. Yeah. Thanks, bro. And I've allegedly seen Joe in action.
Starting point is 02:10:55 Joe loved the grab the knee game. Bring the blankets game. And the grab the knee game in the movies. You can grab a knee or two. He's a bring the blankets guy, too. Allegedly. Bring the blanket. Bring in a blanket to a AMC.
Starting point is 02:11:08 Nah, my man ain't bringing no blankets. Nah, man. Don't do Joe like that. That's his frock. That's not a blanket. Oh, my man. See what he's going with? He just take his frock off.
Starting point is 02:11:16 Gently. Yeah, now it's a blanket. Oh, y'all used to go to the movie theaters that didn't provide blankets? Nah. The eye pick, it'd be a little crusty. Them blankets would be a little hard. I don't know what homie was doing with his. Oh, well, now it has some feces on it. Nah. I picked them. It'd be a little crusty. Them blankets would be a little hard. I'm like, I don't know what homie was doing with his. Oh, well, now, it has some feces on it.
Starting point is 02:11:29 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm cool. You know, it's definitely. I take that shit nicely, throw that shit right on. Get the fuck out of here. It's definitely boogers and cum. Yeah, yeah, I'm cool. But it keep you warm.
Starting point is 02:11:40 I'm cool. It does keep you warm, though. You're right. That's all I'm saying. Back to music. Back to music. Back to music. Roy, you were saying? And Joe, don't act like you ain't catch the handy at fucking Jamaica Avenue movie theater.
Starting point is 02:11:55 I fucked in the Edgewater Multiplex. Anyways, with that said, since we're on music. No, no, no. Wait,'re on music wait no no no slow down everybody stop just again it happened again dart bullseye
Starting point is 02:12:12 unfazed Rory nah you don't think that was great you don't think that was greatest I think you copped a handy at the Jamaica multiplex and then you later on fucked in the Edgewater movie theater.
Starting point is 02:12:27 I was trying to give you your credit. I was scared of that movie. I couldn't fight back then. Your word. You see the sweetie video. They have still have metal detectors at them. I'm not going. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 02:12:38 Come on. Did you see a sweetie video? Did I see it? Your Quavo. Quavo's's gonna shoot y'all, nigga. Quavo's gonna shoot y'all. Why? We just liked the video. I threw that video on the bigs, on the big TV and the soundbar.
Starting point is 02:12:58 Got to. And I put the blinds down. Ooh, a diamond-y Tesla. You ain't got one of those. It's icy, I think. It's a really good video, Roy. Didn't you think? I mean, I was really just into the camera movements.
Starting point is 02:13:17 I like the colors. A lot of nice colors. Yeah, great colors. Listen. I thought the treatment was really good. Yeah. The plot line. Listen, great colors. I thought the treatment was really good. Yeah. Plot line. Listen, Sweetie is gorgeous and this
Starting point is 02:13:30 video looks great. I have to watch this naked in slow motion at home alone. Respectfully. Yeah, all respectfully. I'm not talking about, but Sweetie, look at her friend. That's Doja. That's Doja? Oh, I can't fuck with her.
Starting point is 02:13:47 Why she don't look white? She's not white. I ain't talking about her. Who you talking about? I'm talking about the other one. That's the same one. No, no. No, the one with ass.
Starting point is 02:13:57 That's Doja. I'm sure Doja bought an ass. All right, wait. Time out. Wait till they get out of the diamond-y Tesla. That's Doja? That's Doja. She bought hips?
Starting point is 02:14:09 No, she's had that. Probably. Oh, no, she fooled me. She turned around. Oh, get out of here. Man, who was the makeup? Who was the MUA here? We are creeps.
Starting point is 02:14:22 You sick for knowing MUA. You got to know it. it listen if all you bitches is so bad why y'all doing so many makeup tutorials I'm asking alright forget it
Starting point is 02:14:36 yo turn this screen man can you turn this video off please it's fucking distracting jokes aside since we on music that Mac Ayers EP Magic A-Boy is different is it out? It's fucking distracting. Jokes aside, since we on music,
Starting point is 02:14:46 that Mac Ayers EP, Magic A-Boy, is different. Is it out? Yeah. Came out today. I downloaded it. He sent it to my email. I'm still going to buy it. Nah, that EP is different, different. He's passed.
Starting point is 02:15:01 If this is the quiet eight we get during quarantine, same point with the Jasmine Sullivan shit what you got on the album y'all know how I feel about that Mac Mac Mac Mac don't drop duds he don't I'm talking about like when nobody knew him and maybe that's I don't know how many people know now but he don't drop duds no he doesn he doesn't. He always has a good project. Yeah, I fuck with him. All right, good. I'm going to buy this.
Starting point is 02:15:27 All right, so there's some music to keep me. The EP is really, really good. Good. I'm happy about that. I am. Is that all in music that we have or that came out? Shit, no. Probably not.
Starting point is 02:15:39 I'd like to be there to discuss the Nicky topic on Tuesday or Wednesday, rather. With Tracy Chapman? Yeah. I'd like to do a deep dive on that. The verdict was in on that a little while ago, right? Because I feel like we covered that, but then now they finally announced what has to be paid. So when we covered it, we were really happy because the judge said no. And we were like, all right, thank God.
Starting point is 02:16:07 Because even when Nikki tweeted, this would be one of the biggest cases in music history and everyone laughed at her. We were the podcast that said, no, she's right. This could change. Every mixtape artist ever could be sued now. And the judge said no. I don't know if there was an appeal process or something, but Nikki decided that she was going to settle. And I don't know the actual details because, again, this was on page six or some bullshit. So we don't even know if this is real.
Starting point is 02:16:32 But it did say that Nikki was settling for $450,000 after a judge ruled that Nikki was correct. So we will see. But, again, I think we should keep our eyes on this. This is one of the more important copyright trials music has ever had. For sure. I agree. We shall see. But what is there for us to keep our eye on?
Starting point is 02:16:57 If they start targeting people? If this is actually true. Because again, this was page six bullshit. I can also see her settling just because a lengthy court battle might be more expensive. She was pregnant. First of all, I'm going to assume that a Tracy Chapman sample is expensive from the rip. Well, Tracy is on what they deem the no sample list.
Starting point is 02:17:19 Yes. Which is a big deal if you know you know type thing. Tracy's on that. And they did say in the article that that four hundred fifty thousand dollars was for legal fees that she was basically reimbursing Tracy for. So it wasn't really a payment from what they said. But again, I don't know how true this is. just do think this is a very important thing that if nikki is gonna settle i can see a lot of people going oh artists will settle on some shit like this where an artist didn't profit but still sampled me this could get messy yeah i think the ambulance chasers are already in the culture for sure i think this is one of the more high profile cases they They're not all going to go like this. Even though Slaughterhouse went through this as well. When we put out that mixtape with
Starting point is 02:18:09 Juggernauts. But this wasn't even a release song. That's the difference. Neither was that. Well, no, that was released publicly not on a monetizing platform. This wasn't even put out is the why. While Minaj didn't release the track in question on her album Queen, she did allegedly leak it to Funkmaster Flex, which led to its circulation online so it did come out the
Starting point is 02:18:29 same way no okay well let me ask this if i am a lawyer and i'm not and i'm stupid so don't mind me if anyone profited off that song it was emmis communications which owns hot 97 why are you suing Nicki? Nicki didn't make a fucking dollar off that. Right. Yeah, that's the part I don't understand. Why are you suing her?
Starting point is 02:18:51 She didn't put it up. She made it. I don't care who played it. You made it. The fact that it was played somewhere let me know that it was made. So I have to come for who made it. Yeah, but that's not fair either
Starting point is 02:19:02 because of that someone could get a hold of your vocals and put it over fucking Michael Jackson and then they could sue you. I'm sure there's ways to prove against that. Hey, Your Honor, I didn't make that song. Yeah, but Hot 97 would be the only people that would profit off advertising. Nicki didn't profit.
Starting point is 02:19:21 She emailed a song to Flex. But it doesn't matter if you profited if you use my music. That's what I'm saying. It don't matter if you profited or not. If I'm Tracy Chapman and I hear my shit in an underground radio shack, hey, Daz has been on the chatty house saying, hey, that's what I'm on out here. Shout out to Daz, by the way. Oh, my God, I can't wait for the Daz documentary. But a lot of people just don't know how successful Daz, by the way. Oh, my God. I can't wait for the Daz documentary. But a lot of people just don't know how successful Daz is behind the scenes.
Starting point is 02:19:48 I know because Crook knew when Crook told me. But to hear what he's doing, and he's saying it. Yo, my line is over here. I'm coming for it. My line is over there. I don't care if I know you. I'm coming for it. I own it.
Starting point is 02:20:00 I got to get it. That's how we eat. So, I mean, Tracy is on that. I won't get mad at it but I'm on Nikki's side I'm on your side I'm just mad at it
Starting point is 02:20:09 when it's something that's not released and monetized that's all I'm on y'all's side or performed but I mean how many Tracy's
Starting point is 02:20:15 are there that crushes total that crushes the art form of sampling and creating or it protects it so wait
Starting point is 02:20:23 Tracy Chapman is saying that Nikki asked for permission to sample the song but went ahead with it anyway when Chapman rejected the request
Starting point is 02:20:31 oh okay well that's a little different that's the difference that's a little different yeah if you try to clear it and then you just put it out anyway
Starting point is 02:20:37 that's a little different and that's how it probably ended up on Tracy's radar yeah yeah that's a little different no I can I can see Nikki let me put myself in Nikki's shoes
Starting point is 02:20:47 of all right I have a record with Nas I love this song I can no longer put it on my album fuck that the world's gonna hear this let me give it to Flex it's not gonna be profited off I'm not gonna make money off it this is just a pure music love and for my fans I get why Nikki would do that no you get i would probably i would probably do the same thing no the world's gonna hear this no rory would do the same thing and you can understand why rory and joe budden would do that nikki has worked her way to a place where she can do that yeah nick nikki is also a real music lover from what I understand and know. So I can see her getting a Nas verse. Fuck that. This can't go
Starting point is 02:21:28 on my album. We're about to hear me with Nas. Fuck that. And Nas as someone she was rumored to date at one point. Let's not even get that out of here. Nicki is a rapper and a queen chick. I'm not getting that out of here. I would not expect for someone that I dated in my
Starting point is 02:21:44 past to come for me. That's totally different than Tracy Chapman. Why do you keep comparing it to? You wouldn't expect for somebody that you dated in your past to come for you? Yeah. We see that all the time. But Nas didn't. I'm just talking about me.
Starting point is 02:21:55 Oh. We see that all the time. I'm talking about. What are you talking about? I'm talking about Nicki, the rapper from Queens, to have a Nas feature. One day I'm going to get a good girl. Fuck the dating shit. I'm going to get a good girl I'm going to get a good girl one of these days nah
Starting point is 02:22:09 don't give up fight the fight fight the fight fight the fight anyway what were you saying you should not be able to sue people for it I don't know if y'all heard I can't hear no I was saying not that. Fuck the Dayton rumors
Starting point is 02:22:25 because that's corny. I'm talking about just Nicky the rapper. Got it, got it, got it. That would have a Nas feature as just a Queens rapper. But Nas is not on that. I can't put it on my album.
Starting point is 02:22:34 But Nas is not on that list that you spoke of is what I'm saying. Forget the Dayton bullshit. Nas isn't on the... There's a few people we heard about coming in. They told me about Prince
Starting point is 02:22:42 my whole career. Yeah. Joe, you're missing the point. Nas was a feature on the song. Okay. He wasn't sampled. I got a Nas verse. I'm a Queens rapper.
Starting point is 02:22:56 It can't go on my album. I want the world to hear it. But if that's the case, I could remove the sample. I'm not removing the Nas verse. I would tell somebody to interpolate the sample. Yo, you and I... Don't tell the world about replaying. Don't snitch.
Starting point is 02:23:12 Wow, that's a valid thing to do. It's the law. We can do that. Until they change the law. Until Marvin Gaye's family gets a hold of it. Well, Marvin Gaye's family didn't make the law. You think Tracy Chapman would have caught that
Starting point is 02:23:26 if Nikki never asked? It depends on how blatant the sample was. Nikki, a Nikki song is going to pass her radar though. It's not, we're not talking about
Starting point is 02:23:33 It's Nikki. Yeah, we're not talking about an underground artist. Because I don't think I heard the record. Me neither. I didn't either.
Starting point is 02:23:40 So I don't even know if I would pick up on that. But if someone sampled my shit. If she sampled my name or my voice or my own, I would have heard it. Someone would have tagged me in that shit. If she sampled her voice, that's different. Yeah, somebody would hit me.
Starting point is 02:23:54 Yeah. Yeah, I don't feel like, I understand the importance of this case, but I don't feel like this is going to have a ripple effect to all the lesser known artists. It's mad of us still sneaking the sample out there. This is an A-list artist. like this is gonna have a ripple effect to all the lesser-known artists is mad about still sneaking the sample out this is a list artist yeah this is a a-list artist type of beef say boy yeah even when you settle for half a mil like you know what I don't want to do this just leave me yeah I want to stay home today pay just paying yeah I agree with you Joe but why i said that is because so many of the a-list artists now
Starting point is 02:24:27 came from the mixtape era so you're saying it's an a-list thing no i i agree with you like wayne and hove lived in the mixtape era i wouldn't say hove really but he went through the clue shit i'm sure you could find some j Jay-Z shit in the same capacity where he didn't profit and rapped on a sample that was not paid for. Wayne and Hove were Wayne and Hove doing mixtapes. It's not that they lived in the mixtape era.
Starting point is 02:24:57 They were themselves already, and they were doing mixtapes. Even Mac Miller went on. That was Mac Miller, they were Laura Finesse, right? Yeah, with Laura Finesse, yeah. Even when that happened, Macer was kind of kind of mac miller well the reason why it happened was because he had a 20 million play whatever the fuck it was some astronomical amount of lord finesse phone was ringing all morning yo you know what i'm saying and rest in peace to mac yes sir yeah no, I'm saying that these people are A-list now and you could go back through their whole catalog and find something to sue them over once you see that Nicki is settled.
Starting point is 02:25:34 Oh, they're settling the A-list artists? Yeah, let me go back in Hov's clue catalog. Let me go through Wayne's entire catalog is what I'm saying. I'm not talking about the the rapper that sold his mixtape on the Ave and was rapping over beats I'm talking about A-list artists this is big it is big maybe I'm overthinking it but I think it's huge it is big I think that settlement is not necessarily you know the funny part you kind of damn near no let me not exaggerate but I feel this way you damn near have to be an A-list artist to sample.
Starting point is 02:26:08 Or to have the budget to sample, to fucking have the, like, the lesser known dudes, the label tell you from the rip, yo, nah, no, no, we're not clearing that. When you're a big-time artist, sometimes it takes time for the sample clearance to come back. I mean, for us to get the rights and blah, blah, blah. And for the albums, they got 40 songs. Imagine the paperwork on that. No, some of us don't have to worry about all that. Yo, put it out.
Starting point is 02:26:34 Yeah. Yeah. Twitter permanently suspends President Donald Trump. Was that permanent? Or is this just announced that it's permanent? Just announced it's permanent. What the fuck is the point of this? After close review of recent tweets,
Starting point is 02:26:48 well, I do get the point of it. Yeah. Let me be clear. I understand the point of it. After close review. Like saying, for instance, that, oh man, it's only two weeks left. What can you still do?
Starting point is 02:26:58 It's irresponsible. Two days ago, he just did something. He can do a lot. He can do a lot. I don't want to be that irresponsible. That's kind of a knee-jerk reaction. Yeah, I get it. After close review of recent tweets from the real blah, blah, blah account and the context around them,
Starting point is 02:27:10 we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence. Twitter's official safety account tweeted. I didn't even know they had an official safety account, but that seems important. From that account, people were retweeting it. The president's account was initially banned for 12 hours January 6th due to severe violations
Starting point is 02:27:27 of our civic integrity policy after you used the platform to fucking send terrorists to the Capitol and fuck shit up for a whole day and I still have to pay taxes for that day
Starting point is 02:27:36 we should prorate taxes there should be some days where we should skip like yo remember that day they didn't need that back like in the hotel I just stayed at Miami like I have to put why they didn't let that back. Like, in the hotel, I just stayed at Miami.
Starting point is 02:27:45 Like, why? They didn't let the movies work in the bedroom? Like, the TV wasn't compatible? You said the TV didn't work in the bedroom. No, whatever TV they had in the bedroom, their movie system wouldn't play with that. Like, you know how it did. Like, it's condos, and they got on it. So if a nigga put an old TV in there and it don't play,
Starting point is 02:28:04 oh, don't give a black person a movie that don't play and it's something you got to pay for oh I called that front I call it rated yeah oh yeah I called the concierge I called the concierge immediately I appreciate this move from Twitter let me let me let me beat make myself clear thank you I wish this would have happened sooner but i do understand y'all even implemented the fact checker thing like people have been laying low waiting on trump like the day we've been waiting for this day i think instagram banned them as well facebook well the same company why do they think trump trump don't have a fake account somewhere
Starting point is 02:28:40 and trump will tell you who it is on his fake account yo it's trump yo they banned my business. I think Reddit did too. You know what you got to do to get banned from Reddit? Thanks. That's a wild west. That's a great point.
Starting point is 02:28:53 That's a great point. Shout out to Reddit, subreddit, everybody hates us over there. Shout out to everybody that hates us everywhere, man. I fuck a Reddit, man. Me too.
Starting point is 02:29:01 They hate too. Me too. You have to. They're great. They have to. They're really good. At my age, hate to hate is great to read some hate. man. Me too. The Hate 2. Me too. You have to. They're great. You have to. They're really good. At my age, The Hate is great to read some hate.
Starting point is 02:29:08 Yeah. It is. If it's creative and funny, I'm with you on that. Some of it is creative hate. And most of it isn't true. Boy, am I angry that we ever played
Starting point is 02:29:17 dude that's dissed us the 12th. I blocked him last week. Enough of you now. You can't give a nigga an inch and take him out. I just told you. You just spoke about it.
Starting point is 02:29:24 It is so true. You just mentioning it there'll be 15 more disses by the morning yeah that book was good fam go ahead and have a blast I just don't want to see it
Starting point is 02:29:31 like don't at me yeah I'm cool I stopped listening after three I think see but that's why you can't even laugh with stranger niggas dissing you
Starting point is 02:29:37 cause then they just take your comment oh you thought that was funny well I got another one yeah like no you fucking loser the first four was cool alright
Starting point is 02:29:44 that's what Drake that's what Drake was trying to tell you got another one. No, you fucking loser. The first four was cool. That's what Drake was trying to tell you. Good point. Points are made. I read the DM he sent you. That's exactly what he said. That is what he said. And you asked me to see it.
Starting point is 02:30:03 Joe, show me the Drake DMs. That's nasty. Let me see that. Joe, show me the drink. That's nasty. Let me see that. Look at the lie. Look at the lie. Oh, look. Look what happens when Joe hits back. That's nasty.
Starting point is 02:30:13 That's disgusting. So what did he say? Let me see. That's nasty. Let me see it, phone. Come on. Here's the difference. I hit with truth.
Starting point is 02:30:22 You hit with lies. That motherfucker's running around that Edgewater kitchen like, oh my God, he DM'd me. Look. Let me just say to y'all that those three pieces of work, Joe believes should be in the Smithsonian.
Starting point is 02:30:36 The DMs? We can leave now, right? What's the time up here it's good look that's a nice little time right there right yeah yeah yeah right on the dot
Starting point is 02:30:51 that's the time we said we wanted to leave anyway yo more be ready to boogie nah me listen what else we talking about we can talk about something breaking right now
Starting point is 02:30:59 look they banned Donald look they banned the Don they banned the Don let me see let me just uh savon is there anything breaking happening right now are the evil whites chilling are they fucking looting again no they're quiet look what they steal shit they stole already oh shit i remember we took this
Starting point is 02:31:20 yeah we took this. Yeah. All right, so the evil whites are not doing anything bad right this second. Uh-oh. Oh, yeah. Little do you know. Yeah, no,
Starting point is 02:31:32 they always do. All right, real quick, before we get out of here, man, been watching my necks. How they looking? Did you see the last game? Yeah. Oh, then say it with me.
Starting point is 02:31:46 River sanity. Uh-oh. River sanity. Uh-oh. I don't think that's going to catch on. Uh-oh. Huh? They could drown in that river.
Starting point is 02:31:58 Oh, come on. Help me out, Cora. Give me something. You got sleepers? Listen, 13 points in the final four minutes. Doc's kid that Moore hated. I didn't hate him. Early on, yeah.
Starting point is 02:32:12 Come on. You said, why is he in the league? You said, why is he in the league? No, but I also said. You said he was trash at Duke. He's only there for his dad. No, he did. Yeah, that's what I said.
Starting point is 02:32:21 Maybe he just didn't really feel him in LA. It was like his second year, I think. He struggled. He looks great in New York, though. No, he looks really good. He looks good in New York. River sanity. Now I got to work on it?
Starting point is 02:32:37 Yeah. We'll get something going. Yeah, you'll find something else. Hmm. Maybe I'll work on Julius's name, see if I can get a fancy little pun or something. All right, what else is going on? What else is going on? Anything, anything, anything?
Starting point is 02:32:52 I'm cool. I'm cool. There's nothing for me to review what happened. Who? Huh? NFL playoffs. Patty Mahomes. He don't play this week, right?
Starting point is 02:33:03 The fuck you talking to me about? He's sitting home chilling? Hey, is Patty playing? Oh, you want me to get in the hype? Oh, the Titans and the Ravens. Oh, my God. Ooh. Can they stop Derrick Henry?
Starting point is 02:33:16 Will Lamar Jackson finally perform? What do you want me to say? Come on, give it to me. That's probably the best game of the week. Well, yeah, it's probably the best game of the week. Who else is playing? Will Tom Brady bring the Buccaneers to greatness? The football team.
Starting point is 02:33:28 Or will the Redskins and Chase Young be the... What do you want me to say over here? The football team. Oh, yeah, yeah, not the Redskins. Or will the Washington team be able to kill... Like, shut up. Let me pick winners, man. The Bills beat the Colts.
Starting point is 02:33:45 Yeah. The Bucks beat the Redskins. Yeah. The Saints beat the Bears. Yeah. Steelers-Browns is the one I really don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:33:54 I got Browns. Where's this game being played at? Pittsburgh. I'm taking Steelers. Oh, taking Steelers. Next year, I have the Browns being able to win on the road. They just learned how to win.
Starting point is 02:34:04 You can't win in... I would want to see the Browns win that game, on the road They just learned how to win You can't win in I would want to see the Browns Win that game though Me too Yeah Cause I think They're gonna win that game What's the better team?
Starting point is 02:34:11 The Browns Who has the better record? Pittsburgh by a hair By one game You don't subscribe to the All you are what you're No They beat all bad teams
Starting point is 02:34:23 And lost to Lost to the Bengals. All right. Next toughest game for me, Ravens-Titans. Give it to me. That one, Titans.
Starting point is 02:34:30 Titans. Titans. Really? I want the Ravens to win, but I'm going to win. I like Lamar Jackson too much.
Starting point is 02:34:36 Titans is tough, and you're not stopping that man. And Lamar Jackson was my first pick, so get out of here. My first pick in fantasy, so sorry.
Starting point is 02:34:43 Even though he's come alive in recent weeks. I got the Seahawks over the Rams. Yeah, me too. Don't know why DK Metcalf was still on the board when the Seahawks picked,
Starting point is 02:34:50 but whatever. Yeah. I mean, he spent the whole pre-draft workouts and before the draft just showing us his chiseled body
Starting point is 02:35:00 and somehow- Ben pressing cars. Yeah, Ben pressed a car and somehow he was there at 32. Like, what the fuck put that car down what didn't
Starting point is 02:35:07 what didn't they believe I don't get it put the car down man I don't understand what they didn't see yeah so those are my picks those are my wild card picks I ain't even gonna talk
Starting point is 02:35:18 about no basketball cause every nigga I talk about bad the nigga God didn't hit a game winner man Zach the other night went crazy yeah went crazy Dane man Zach the other night Went crazy
Starting point is 02:35:25 Went crazy Dame went crazy The next night though He had 39 Well Dame is Dame But I mean Game winner on Zach Try to shit on Zach
Starting point is 02:35:34 Game win on you You know what's funny And that's fucked up I want to apologize to Zach Cause Zach I like Zach I don't know why I was talking about him
Starting point is 02:35:41 Like I don't like him I do like Zach I like his game a lot I just be joking around I hope that These niggas be too busy To ever hear my jokes They don't know why I was talking about him like I don't like him. I do like Zach. I like his game a lot. I just be joking around. I hope that these niggas be too busy to ever hear my jokes. They don't. Because you know where I bumped into Zach? Was you with me at the Dwayne, that D-Wade spade party?
Starting point is 02:35:54 You was, right? No. Who was I with? Why you ain't coming? You phony. You was with me, right? He was there. What the fuck is he talking about?
Starting point is 02:36:01 I wasn't there. No, I wasn't there, bro. All right, Alright well either way You should have been there But I'm saying Zach Levine was there And he was really cool I saw him somewhere
Starting point is 02:36:12 He was really cool Aaron Gordon was there He was really cool Like it's just some dudes That you want to like A lot of these guys Not some dudes that you want to hate Cause I don't hate these guys
Starting point is 02:36:19 A lot of these guys are young So they cool Yeah they're awesome man Yeah they cool They're awesome man I have an issue with jr smith not having a job right now but he might get picked up somebody might want him i just have an issue with that i maybe don't he should he should be on the roster right now though i think
Starting point is 02:36:36 so i look at some of these rosters and jr he definitely has a spot yeah no i think so too i don't have anything else that i damn man this is the second week in a row that I wanted to get into that shit, the story I read last week about the Black Eyed Peas. Oh, fuck. And I'm not. But that story was so fascinating to me. I never would have imagined that Will.i.am would have an issue with the Black Eyed Peas place in history.
Starting point is 02:37:01 Like that they're not considered for greatest rap groups of all time or considered a rap group at all. They're one of the most successful rap groups of all time, no question. But then there was an interview from apparently the original woman that was in the Black Eyed Peas, which, to my belief, was a black woman.
Starting point is 02:37:19 I didn't know there was another woman in Black Eyed Peas. Yeah, right? When? And that's the issue. No, there was not a woman in the... Well, maybe... She's doing interviews. Before they did Yeah. Right. When? And that's the issue. there was not a woman in it. Well, maybe she did.
Starting point is 02:37:26 She's doing interviews before they did albums. Maybe. So, no, no, that's all I'm saying. But they put out several, several records.
Starting point is 02:37:34 Like when there was still like an independent underground kind of group, I think it was just the three dudes. I'm not discrediting her or anything. I just never knew that there was a woman in the group let me see this headline just so I can be clear what it says Will.i.am says it hurts that black IPs aren't considered a black group
Starting point is 02:37:53 a lot of the things that we create and we invent we dispose of or get stolen from us to the point where it's no association to its origins he said this is confusing to me that's true but are the black eyed should the black eyed peas be considered a black group um well that's tricky because uh
Starting point is 02:38:21 fergie is a part of black eyed Peas, correct? She was later after the first couple albums. She was placed by Jimmy Iovine. Okay. Just adding context to the history. Black Eyed Peas was a group, a very talented group, and then Jimmy Iovine said, you need a white girl. See, look, this is in 2000. Hill, who was replaced with Fergie after the group's second album 2000
Starting point is 02:38:46 bridging the gap has responded to will for you to make that statement as if uh as if the onus is on the black community to celebrate you and the band when you didn't celebrate us it's almost like there's this culture uh cultural smudging hill said in an instagram video hill's 10 year old son uh cassius added you're not in those black roots anymore so i don't want to read i don't want to get children involved in this um this is really interesting to me yeah uh will i will i am would have to speak to a lot of this stuff yeah will i am produced a lot of these this music he's responsible for a lot of the music and he's a black man i'm trying to under i'm trying to get maybe where his angle
Starting point is 02:39:32 he's the only one i want to hear from but that was his group yeah right yes i don't want to offend any of the other members but that was his group so maybe i could understand him feeling him feeling this way and maybe that puts a different scope on it for me because yeah they didn't make music that i identify as black music but if a black man is making this music, it's tough. This is, this is nuance. He's saying, and when you think of the black IPs,
Starting point is 02:40:09 you don't think of, it's no longer urban or black culture, which is, it's not good for the black community that black IPs is not looked at as a black group because we've had international success that should be credited to the black community more so than letting it be adopted. I can't roll with him on that. Yeah, that's...
Starting point is 02:40:29 I can't roll with him on that. Why? I get the premise of, yes, their success maybe started with the black community. For me, the NBA broke the black IPs. For me. Okay. With, what was that song? It don't matter because it was a bunch of songs. Yeah, they did a bunch of songs with the NBA broke the black IPs. For me. Okay. With, what was that song? It don't matter,
Starting point is 02:40:47 because it was a bunch of songs. Yeah, they did a lot of hit records. They did a bunch of songs with the NBA. But I can't get jiggy with that. I can't. It's not enough. Yeah, yeah. Like, don't tell me about
Starting point is 02:40:59 how black people should feel, and then your first argument is what's happening internationally. Yeah, y'all sold a lot of records, and'all focus was international never did i feel like black ip's focus was me i just happened to like that music right and i happen to like will i am he was a phenomenal producer and he was very expensive and i couldn't afford him in my budget but i didn't think that that was black music and i wasn't i wasn't necessarily hip to the story of the young the young black lady
Starting point is 02:41:26 that they kicked out the group Kim Hill like you can't kick a black queen out the group and then say hey y'all not fucking with us again I don't
Starting point is 02:41:34 I just looked at the credits and she seemed to be featured on a lot of songs and written a lot of songs but she was never on the cover I don't know if she was considered part of the group and that's again
Starting point is 02:41:42 not my business you've been in America long enough to know how that goes you've been out here long enough to know how that goes. You've been out here long enough. Okay, but even with- What was that, the Five Heartbeats? You've seen the Five Heartbeats artwork today for a single?
Starting point is 02:41:55 What's the difference? I don't know. Five Heartbeats wanted to know why the white boys was on their artwork. It wasn't them at all. Like, yo, who is this? Hey, this has just gotta go to radio that the game been the game right like why are we acting like it might be a different reason now and why are we acting like will.i.am may may or may not have been playing ball with jimmy ivine
Starting point is 02:42:14 and interscope they were only the one of the biggest groups on interscope back then like what are we talking about right now well no of course he played ball with jimmy ivine he allowed fergie to be in his group off jimmy ivine saying you need a white girl that's been well documented this isn't some secret right but to say that black eyed peas is not black music if you go to the roots of what it derived from like I feel like a lot of they shit they're poppy shit international shit derives from Chicago house music which is black people I'm only yeah so I'm only but I'm only talking about all black music is black i mean all music is black music to me yeah but i'm talking about how they're received from the black people
Starting point is 02:42:54 in music i guess they mostly made pop music at the the superstardom point of their career which is white people music for lack of a better term and then they took the white girl and gave her a solo career right and then we never I'm sure that was Jimmy Iovine's plan that's my point I mean we never heard
Starting point is 02:43:10 from Black Eyed Peas that's always his plan he did what her he did what the Pussycat Dolls girl he does that that's his thing hey Jimmy
Starting point is 02:43:15 we don't want to beef but that's his thing yeah I just think it's fucked up I do remember Black Eyed Peas you don't want beef with Jimmy Iovine
Starting point is 02:43:24 yeah I'm fucking with you I mean I don't want beef with Jimmy Iovine yeah I'm fucking with you I mean I don't want beef with Jimmy Iovine I do remember them being on Rap City though I remember when they were underground they made like
Starting point is 02:43:32 Blackstar type of music they came after that that raucous kind of inspired wave and made similar music exactly and then like three or four albums in
Starting point is 02:43:40 their first hit was redone by I think they put Justin Simmerlake on the hook way before Fergie even came in to play which was a very now their first hit was redone by i think they put justin simmerlake on the hook way before fergie even came in to play which was a very first it was underground which was dilated people's type music yeah see this is like the white people's selfie to me this conversation like and i hate to use this as an example it also takes me back to i use this all the time when fucking uh wale used to
Starting point is 02:44:01 call me way way back and just talk about about how he's received by lyricists. And as a lyricist, I used to be like, fam, give me the hits then. Let's trade. I'll take your hits. You can take my lyricism. And let's see how it goes. So I mean, they kick the black girl out of the group
Starting point is 02:44:20 or they are complicit in the black girl leaving the group. They make a whole bunch of pop songs. The lead white leaves the group they don't see the same success and then we come back years later and say i don't really like how we were received by the black community but will i am will i am so success solo no will i am will i am was always too rich to fail so i don't know i don't remember if he did solo albums. But the Black Eyed Peas albums, he produced all of them and rapped on all of them.
Starting point is 02:44:48 Too rich. It didn't matter. Yeah. Like by the time it was over, Will.i.am was fine. But that's why I don't like this. Even though Will.i.am came in as a backpacker, Will.i.am was, from what I understand, was like a dancer. So I can see him wanting to do pop music outside of Jimmy Iovine saying, hey, here's this white girl to make you poppy. Will.i.am as a producer and a dancer, I can understand him wanting to make up-tempo pop-esque records, even though he was a backpacker at heart.
Starting point is 02:45:18 I think Kanye West did it very similar, just without the planted white girl. Yeah. I mean, if you want to call kim that but i don't want i don't want to just throw will i am in that category knowing his actual musical genius and intention in the music that he was making that's certainly not what i'm attempting to do either but i i don't know ma'am only I'm just talking about how he was received and I wish that were better communicated from him I would have liked to hear more from him on that and I'm I'm also shutting the fuck up a black about black shit don't mind how we just talk about what you know how he was received but why he was received that way
Starting point is 02:46:05 but either way shout out to Will.i.am Whole Black IP shout out to Fergie what's the young lady's name Kim Kim Hill Kim Hill
Starting point is 02:46:13 and with that said that's all we have for the day Wednesday when we come back I'd like to delve into some of the wackier rumors that I heard

The fake First Amendment falls to plot mischievous midget. You know, Doom is the greatest, man. Yeah, Sniper Elite by MF Doom. And Dilla. Long live Dilla. Long live MF Doom.
