Starting point is 00:08:40 It's not my logic. It's not my logic-ish. They like it because of the path to No, no, no, no, no, no, Joe Biden. You know what? As I get... How honest are we being today? We being honest. No, we not. We being honest. I ain't got time to fight with the chicks with the heavy ass back there no more.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Like on the back shot. I got to pick it up. I can't believe this is Joe Sanders. I got to spread it out. This is not Joe. This is not Joe. This need to change. For real.
Starting point is 00:09:24 It's work. St. Ju. We been telling... I been telling you this for years. Hey changed. It's not, right? It's work. St. Ju. I've been telling you this for years. Hey, you big bitches. Y'all ain't working out. You're getting out of breath quick. I smoke. It can't be both of us.

I'm your humble, gracious, grateful, highly favorite host, Joe Button, here with a few people that showed up. Yo, he killed that. What? Y'all did. Shout out to you niggas out of the race.
Starting point is 00:10:14 So that's cool. Shout out to the app that sponsors us, empowers us, enables us, tolerates us, best app in the world, Cash App. Shout out to Patreon. Subscribe over there for the vibes With that said We got shit to get into I know y'all killed us
Starting point is 00:10:28 For this being an old dude podcast But y'all need old dudes now With the earth winning fire Versus Hey Yeah Baby Now I don't know
Starting point is 00:10:40 That we want to start there We want to start with Prayers to DMX. We don't have to dive into that if you want to wait to get to the somber moment later, but let's start with Prayers. Let's start with X. That is why I didn't play any DMX music
Starting point is 00:10:53 on the start. Because that would just seem somber right now. I went and played a DMX playlist and it was it was hard I scrolled Instagram somebody posted slipping and I yeah yeah I slipped it was heavy the slip is I was driving plans like I say DMX DMX is in my top 10 rappers maybe 15 all time right 15 definitely DMX holds a place that's near
Starting point is 00:11:24 and dear to my heart because of what he went through and what i was going through when he was speaking to me um his battles with addiction uh my he holds a near and dear place in my mom's heart my family's heart we just fuck with dmx differently so i won't ever knock anybody for not being as passionate about x as i am uh i will no i won't i won't it's a different world out there it's young people out there listen when i was looking at them in front of the hospital with the bikes uh powerful by the way shout out to everybody who's out there praying uh the news the news people that are covering this in front of White Plains Hospital.
Starting point is 00:12:06 But when they pulled up with the bikes and they was blasting the music, it brought me back to like Miami in 02, 03 when Rough Riders was moving. Like, that's what it looked like. And if you're not of a certain age, you don't know the symbolism of that bike. Just the double R symbol. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just seeing that period. I remember the t-shirts. Like anything, double r symbol it was like it was different it was different so uh prayers to dmx we we start there yeah and we certainly hope that that he pulls through um and the news the news was uh that he apparently had an overdose Friday.
Starting point is 00:12:45 That was Friday, right? Yes. Overdose and a heart attack. And then all of us paused and was praying. And then maybe a day later or two days later, an attorney got words from a family member that he was breathing on his own and he was out of ICU. member that he was breathing on his own and he was out of ICU. A few hours later, that same attorney reported that that family member was ill-informed and that he was still in there going through it. So at this point for me, no news is good news.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Right. Like I'm looking to not hear anything because boy, is that going to. I don't even want to think about it. I don't even want to think about it. Prayers to DMX. We love you and we need you. And if there's one thing I can assume about X, this is a strong guy, man. This is a strong man who has endured some things and has battled some things and lived to tell about it. So, I hope that
Starting point is 00:13:47 continues. That's a play outstanding now. Look what you did. Alright. They had a prayer vigil. A prayer vigil, right? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Yeah, at the hospital. At the hospital. Yeah. Yeah. White palms. Yeah. At the hospital. At the hospital. Yeah. At the hospital. When they did the bike slide. Well I know the bikes was happening.
Starting point is 00:14:11 That's for the prayer vigil. Yesterday. Bob did it. Got it. Got it. And when that story broke I was glad that
Starting point is 00:14:24 X did his verses. Yeah. Or he got us to be able to get his flowers. And that was a great verses. Real good verses, man. But just glad that he's able to see the outpouring of love, even from people who may not be in the age bracket to understand. All right, Charlie.
Starting point is 00:14:51 This record hit different. I'll see you. This record hit different. I'll see you. That's cool. This one's simple. I'm going to Steve Harvey's door. I'm going to Steve Harvey's
Starting point is 00:15:04 door. Wait a minute! I ain't saying I ain't saying I'll take it So I'll stop on Girl, you knock me out I'll take it I'll take it Makes me wanna jump, baby.
Starting point is 00:15:27 Well, how can it work? I know. How can it work? I'm sitting here trying to force myself to make it work. It's X. It's X, man. I'm watching the newer rappers post the vids of just flowers of him talking to Wiz, him talking to Benny, him talking to, if you see X, if you happen to just bump into him, that's who he is. You're going to talk to him. Listen, I
Starting point is 00:15:47 rhyme for X on my block. I tell story all the time, but that's who he was. He would embrace you, and those are the people that you need to take care of. Those are the people that you need to show up for. Man, I wish that, uh, I had tried
Starting point is 00:16:03 a couple years ago you might even remember i had a beat from dame grease and i was like yo let's get you and dmx to do a record together but you was like heading towards the end where you were about to hang it up i remember yeah shout out to dame grease as well absolutely shout out to dy just everybody the whole rough riders camp man and yeah i'm getting off this because y'all gonna try to make me cry yeah nope nope nope nope nope if i cried over the daylight splits what do you think i'm gonna do over dmx uh all right earth wind and fire versus the isley brothers i was wrong i have to start by saying i was wrong about what i said the isley
Starting point is 00:16:42 brothers was gonna smoke them i was wrong i don't know why you the Isley Brothers was going to smoke them. I was wrong. I don't know why you said it. I didn't hear you say that. No, I said it. He said it. I said it. I'm glad I didn't hear it. And again, the same energy I bring the disrespect with, I got to own up to the bullshit.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Now, listen. Shout out to Triller. Another amazing event. Yeah, they caught that. They got to get the app ready. Yeah, they have to. I wasn't on the app. They have to fix that, bro.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I can't sit here on my phone and stream it. You can't go on Twitter. You download the Triller app on the TV, and it says, yeah, this is the Triller app. If you want to watch the Versus, open on your phone and stream it to the TV. But you have a TV app. It was completely broken. It made no sense. No sense whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:17:23 But the audio and video quality was great. I will say that. I missed you more. Yeah, I watched it on Instagram. They had 450,000 people over there.
Starting point is 00:17:32 So I was like, okay. But I don't want to watch it on Instagram because I want to get these comments off. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I don't care about that either way. Listen, Steve Harvey hosted. He did an amazing job. He looked amazing. He always looks
Starting point is 00:17:42 amazing. I felt like Steve Harvey was what you think you are. That's what I was thinking the entire time watching that. You want to be Steve Harvey so bad. Is that who you want to be? Yes. Why?
Starting point is 00:17:58 Because he was in his old head bag. You want to be in your old head bag so bad. Nah, Joe want to be in his old head but still young back. He don't want to go in the old head. Joe's not going to do the Stacey ad. He won't in your old head bag so bad. Nah, Joe want to be in his old head but still young bag. Yeah. Like, he don't want to go in the old head. Like, Joe's not going to do the Stacey Adams. Like, he won't go fully old head. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:11 He still want to hold on to some young shit. Stacey Adams is not going to be your friend no more. Steve Harvey looks great. He's wealthy. He's successful. It's not a bad role model. I'm not. Yeah, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:18:23 It's just funny, like, the way that he was dressing, the way that he was talking. It's like, oh, that's Stacey. And that hat was fly. way that he was talking It's like And that hat was fly The lilac The lilac Flower in the hat Whatever that purple Whatever that shit is On his suit
Starting point is 00:18:32 He's aging away It looks like The correct version Of what Ice tried to do With the lilac In the shirt With the Adidas pants I caught it though
Starting point is 00:18:41 I caught it I caught it I caught it I caught that I don't know man caught it. I caught it. I caught it. I caught that. I don't know, man. No, I caught that. But anyway, listen. I don't have to press those that go with everything.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yeah, we got to get you some. Listen, if we are here to be honest, who won this to you? Earth, Wind & Fire won. Who won this to you? Ty. Now, before this battle took place. Wait, who'd you have winning? You're the R&B dude in the house.
Starting point is 00:19:06 I had Isley's, for sure. Going in? Winning? I had them winning. After watching it? Yo, the Isley's have been dropping music since when? Can we get it? 59.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Exactly. Rhyno Isley's the only person that had a hit played from every decade to six. Five or six decades. And not just like one hit in a decade. Hits upon hits. Yeah. Earth, Wind & Fire has some amazing records and amazing album cuts, but there were certain records that they played that I was like, I don't really remember that one.
Starting point is 00:19:32 See, and that's where I might be a little biased because my dad, Funk King, every Earth, Wind & Fire record, I knew it. And some of the records that I hated when he played it i grew to love so and their their records just sound bigger because eyes are a little bit more uh low-key bedroom it was nine there's nine dudes in the band and it was horn sections horn sections and all that but ron and them is different i agree i agree i hadley's going in, and I think it was a tie. I had Isley's going in clear. Like, I was popping shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I did have them losing, though. I did have Isley's losing in the beginning, and then they came back on the second half. I was on a date, right? And it was a vibe. I was excited about this. I was dressed nice. We was in a little bubble. We was ordering appetizers and shit, and this battle was dressed tonight we was nice was in a little bubble was ordering appetizers and shit and this battle was happening and the first 10 records i didn't even i felt bad but
Starting point is 00:20:33 they was getting their boots smoking i don't know what bad other niggas was watching yeah them first 10 yeah when earth wind and fire was playing their joints from the rips I enjoy that about Versus is seeing people's strategy and their game plan and at that point it was obvious that the Isley brothers were saving
Starting point is 00:20:51 the last 10 so you know what's going on but at that point shit I might add them down 8-2 yeah but think about it the last impression
Starting point is 00:21:00 might be more important than how you start that's true because that's what people are going to remember more yeah but if you're doing a round by round score and you get to, and y'all only won two rounds, all they got to do is win a couple of the remaining 10.
Starting point is 00:21:12 But no one at home is writing down the actual score. You're trying to keep it in your mind. You're not even doing that. You're just jamming. Fuck, pardon yourself. Fart yourself, young king. Come on. Hey.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Listen, man. They was bugging in them first ten. But I jumped back in. Rest in peace, Morris White. Philip Bailey's also fucking crazy. Philip Bailey's still sound. His falsetto is still immaculate. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:21:41 All their voices sound. They all still sound good. Beautiful. They all looked beautiful. D their voices sound still sound good. Beautiful. They all looked beautiful. D-Nice did an amazing job on the intro, on the halftime. He really did great.
Starting point is 00:21:54 But I had the Isley brothers down maybe eight to two in the first half. I really enjoyed Earth, Wind & Fire singing background or on For the Love of You? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Not even Background. It was a duet. He took the second version. I know Verdean wish he brought the bass though. In hindsight. You said you what? I know Verdean wish he brought the bass. He's one of the best bass players of all time. Then you got Ernie over there just going crazy
Starting point is 00:22:23 on the guitar. I know Verdean's like, dang, I should have brought the bass. Every time he got up with that damn guitar, it was. He started playing with it backwards, behind his back. Like, he's fire. He says, y'all don't know who I am. Let me teach y'all something. I just want my cool to be as cool as Ron Osley when I get that old. Fam, now you want that Ron Osley.
Starting point is 00:22:41 This was a great night, right? And this was Easter Sunday. Easter seemed lackluster for whatever the reason be. Maybe because I'm an adult and my mom can't make me go to church. We're still in pandemic. And my son came over. Kicking it with my kid. And I'm like, boy, you have it real good on Easter.
Starting point is 00:23:03 There's nobody forcing you to get dressed. Put your little pink nasty suit on, go to church. Take the goofy ass pictures. Yeah, that shit is trash. But for adult Easter, this seemed like the church. Yeah, this was it. This was it right here. have that ability to to to excite be so cultural to to just own a cultural moment away from apple yeah away from apple like ghost ghost and ray was was the first triller verses and the haters of that could say maybe it underperformed if you're a hater. It did not. Nothing you could say about this.
Starting point is 00:23:46 This was beautiful all around the board. Yeah, the stage set up. Audio sounded good. Except for their old heads so they didn't talk to the mic half the time. My only complaint is, like we said, the Triller app. But they can get that worked out. I'm pretty sure
Starting point is 00:24:02 we're not going to have to worry about that down the line. Other than that, you can't hate on this. I don't see what there is to hate on. I saw people hating on Steve Harvey. And I enjoyed the Steve Harvey thing. But this is what an old nigga does. This is what an old nigga in a purple suit is going to do. No old nigga is going to hate on him anyway.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Young dudes would do that if you're in the room with people that you fucking idolize. Right. He lying his ass off. I would be lying. He was extra, but it was needed. It was respectful. You had to be. Yeah. What is I know we old. What's wrong there? Nothing.
Starting point is 00:24:40 What the fuck is the issue? Zero. I kept seeing, oh, Steve Harvey shut up. We just want to hear the music. No, bro. They like let him get his shit off. Yeah. They knew what they was doing when they brought him in. He meant to be there.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Yeah, no, no, no. He, he, well, I don't even think he was acting or from. No. That was genuine. He was in his bag. Like, you know who them niggas was? Like, yo, dude, that's Jay-Z and Pac up there. Of our era.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, that type of stardom. Yeah. that's Jay-Z and Pac up there of our era. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, that type of stardom. Yeah. For that era, them niggas was them dudes. Mm-hmm. Earth, Wind & Fire, fam. If you were growing up back then.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Yeah. As is way bigger than Jay-Z and Pac. No, yeah. Yeah, like, I'm just trying to get a parallel, but yeah, like, what? That was them niggas. You can tell that their music raised him.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Like, molded him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, he has moments in his life that he's remembered. You can remember it to the song. And he ties it back to their music. Yes, exactly. For sure. Fam, as the battle was happening, this was the first verses where I called both my parents
Starting point is 00:25:40 to make sure that they were watching it as well. And they enjoyed it. Of. And they enjoyed it. Of course. My mom's father was like, my mom's caught me. You know he was on. About 7.30. Because I always tell her what's going on with the verses.
Starting point is 00:25:56 So I told her, Earth, Wind & Fire, Ozzy Brothers, oh, you got to come set me up. I went to her crib, set it up. I, you know, the stream shit.
Starting point is 00:26:04 So it's on her big screen TV. She's like, bring me some wine. I went to her crib, set it up. I, you know, the stream shit. So it's on her big screen TV. She's like, bring me some wine. I brought her some wine. She was rocking. Zoned out. She hit me after it was over and was like,
Starting point is 00:26:13 dog, I'm usually asleep by now. I watched this whole thing. That shit was long. Yo, four hours. You know what I like about the verses now? And they created a new record after that.
Starting point is 00:26:21 I like the verses that even if you don't know the music or really like take to the artist, you can still watch them be entertained for me like cuz there was records that like I said on this I don't remember but I was still loving it like just the camaraderie between the two that was fire that's dope when they when they fuck with each other that's amazing they had their stories together what I've been given road tour stories and also what I like about verses right and this is not an ad they didn't pay me though they probably
Starting point is 00:26:49 should um it's probably one of the only things happening today where it's an event in my house every time they have done something that's true there's been a beautiful girl there or room full of friends or parents or so it gives you that know how you can remember where you were when certain songs drop back in the day today they don't really have that you ask these kids where they were when a song drop who the fuck cares they was they was running the streets but this it gives that event feeling back 100 so i like that i like that shout out that shout out to tim shout out the swiss this was cool they did a little after talk it was dope man and the other the other good thing that was dope about this was seeing the younger uh viewers whatever you want to call them realizing
Starting point is 00:27:44 that a lot of records you like came from here. You didn't know it. I bet 60% of the songs were big hit albums. Yo, I was seeing people say, oh shit, that's such and such. Oh shit, that's such. Well, this is where they got it from.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Like this is real music that inspired the people that you like. And they were straight looping it. The music was so good, they wasn't even chopping it up and flipping it. They were straight looping it. Nobody put drums to it.
Starting point is 00:28:03 It's already good. Shout out to Elliot and Tidal with the playlist. Again, another amazing job. That sample playlist was crazy. That was the one. And I don't even like playlists like other people's playlists. That was the one, though. For the Love of You is probably one of the greatest songs ever made, right?
Starting point is 00:28:21 Yes. Yes. That's not a stretch, right? No, no. Top 30? Yeah. It's high. It. Yes. That's not a stretch, right? No, no. Top 30? Yeah. It's high. It's high.
Starting point is 00:28:29 It's up there. Earth, Wind & Fire got a couple. September is off. September, 100%. Earth, Wind & Fire might have- Everybody was waiting for September. Earth, Wind & Fire might have three or four songs in the top 50. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Come on. It's silly feel, baby. I play this every year on my birthday. I can't listen to music, man. My brain is just nuts. Like, I want to know the feeling in the studio when the guitarist came up with that. Just strum. They start strumming that right there.
Starting point is 00:28:58 They knew they had one. You know you got one once that starts. You can't mess that up. And then when the horns came in? It was just fucking real. Yo, he was unsure. He's like, yo, I don't know if this is something, y'all. Maurice, you got it.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Yo, keep that one going. What? We old, man. We old. Do you remember? I got my break. Trey, fix your fucking bass when this comes on. Hey, you don't roll! I got my red cup right here. Trey, fix your fucking face when this comes on.

Starting point is 00:29:39 What are you talking about? I got my red cup here, too. I'm ready to party. You'll keep going. Why that? Don't come on in the strip club, man. I can have a hard on with that. Yo, you a sick nigga for having a strip club. What?
Starting point is 00:29:49 Since September. Listen, yeah. Why that? How she gonna shake that ass in September? Shit. That would be kind of a fight. Like an old school man in a strip club. I seen a bitch shake her ass to acapella.
Starting point is 00:29:59 And bitches got on me and just kept moving when the song went off. I said, oh, she is determined. She gonna get that thing. She got it too. You fucking right she got it. Boy, she'll get it every time from Joe.

Starting point is 00:30:42 I'm sorry. Someone might get offended, but let me just, I don't want I'm sorry. Someone might get offended, but let me just, I don't want to see anyone outside of urban culture in versus. I just don't. But Phil Collins got black records. I know. Starting point is 00:30:55 That is an interesting take. I'm the same way. No, I'm cool. I'm cool. Neither do you. And I have, I have a,
Starting point is 00:31:00 I have a, I have a, a reason, a specific reason to why. Cause I have, cause that's our shit, right? It's our shit. So no, no, no Hall & Oates, no Air Supply.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Nah, fuck them. No, I don't want to see none of that. Really? Because you know what I'm scared of? I'm scared of the numbers that they going to end up doing. Ain't Sam & Dave white, too? Sam & Dave? Are we real?
Starting point is 00:31:18 Oh, don't worry about it. Nah, nah, nah. Never mind. Never mind. Never mind. Never mind. I would hate for the person- He said Hall & Oates.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Every time it's talk, we get old. Shut up, man. Hall & Oates, them niggas. What? Not at all. How you don't want to see Hall & Oates in a versus? Yeah, you- Because them numbers.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Phil Collins in a versus? I get what he's saying, though. You want to hear it in the air tonight? Come on. No, but I get what he's saying about that. But I don't want for the public to see them come in. Like, let's just say they did an insane versus backstreet. Yeah, I feel you.

Starting point is 00:49:12 No, me and Ish just bumped into a bunch of chicks that would've fucked us both. Okay. Did y'all fuck them? No, that's where our relationship problems

Nah, like you said, using you for lies and shit, and you said, do the shorties believe that you were that type of person? Me and E said, yeah, because women that watched you on Love and Hip Hop yeah it was a little rough we had to defend a lot of shit
Starting point is 00:49:48 that we ain't had nothing to do with y'all know that's produced no Joe they don't know that's produced that's the issue I tried that one I tried that that's TV

Starting point is 00:50:05 don't know. I don't either. I don't want to know. Why y'all two niggas never try to get a train going with me? Yo. Alright. So southern hip-hop we were talking about, right? Why is the only ish that tried to get one of those going? I'm greedy. I don't even like bringing women

Starting point is 00:50:57 the workout chicks got ass they still skinny Asian chicks got ass they still skinny I don't call them skinny these chicks got muscles in places that I like them now
Starting point is 00:51:06 They still slimmies A lot of these slim chicks I've aged So some of the things That I'm into now Is like different Like I like a chick With nice arms
Starting point is 00:51:13 That's important Shoulders I'm a leg guy Her back Her stomach All of that shit The arms tell you What you need to know
Starting point is 00:51:21 If she got a nice fit arm She's gonna be good for a while Shelf life Yeah shelf life How do y'all think The arms tell you what you need to know. If she got a nice fit arm, she's going to be good for a while. Shelf life? Yeah, shelf life. How do y'all think? Tiana Trump. You know what? Great segue.
Starting point is 00:51:33 How y'all think? We go from skinny, slim. Yeah, we know. LaMelo Ball was spotted at a trampoline park with porn star Tiana Trump. Boy, when I read this, I wanted to kill him. But the more I read it, it sounds like a vibe.
Starting point is 00:51:49 The trampoline. Have y'all ever been to a trampoline park with a chick? I've never. Park with a porn star. It is fun. Trampoline park is fun.
Starting point is 00:51:55 It's very fun. But that could be a vibe. Yeah, he's 19. I'm sure it's going to bounce in a certain way. That's number one. He's 19. And he's injured
Starting point is 00:52:03 out for the season now. In a pleasing manner. Oh, he's out for the season? He's out for the season. injured out for the season now. In a pleasing manner. He's out for the season? No, with a hand injury. He might get back in early. No. He's not going back to work. This is news
Starting point is 00:52:19 just because he was spotted with her in a trampoline park. I hate what becomes news these days. Why do I have to care about this? Oh, LeVar Ball warns his sons about hoes. You'll never meet a good woman during an NBA career. I'm not going to get into that because I've never dunked on anybody. I wouldn't know. But LeMelo Ball and Teyon and Trump, what are y'all opinions on it?
Starting point is 00:52:39 That's smart. That's soluto. That's what you're supposed to be doing when you're 19 and rich. He's 19. Lives in LA.A. Yeah. From L.A. Superstar.
Starting point is 00:52:48 His brother's a star already. Like, they grew up in the star. No, he's a star. Yeah, he's a superstar. He is a bigger star. No, he's a bigger star than his brother right this second. No, but you get what I'm saying? Like, he's not new.
Starting point is 00:53:00 Injured. Not playing still. Still a bigger star. What I'm saying is he's not new to the limelight. You get what I'm saying? Like, their father put them in the limelight mad early. His brother made the league. His brother was all-American, all that shit.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Second pick in the draft. How old is Teyana Trump? She's 20-something. Young 20-something. Okay, so I don't mind this then. No. And his father, Le LeVar has an interview Where he spoke on it
Starting point is 00:53:26 Like yo Like he's gonna go Experience that Go experience it Have fun I have a problem With the old hoes Targeting the young
Starting point is 00:53:33 Successful guy In hopes to get Athlete In hopes to get pregnant Yeah I have an issue with that I agree with that I don't think she's doing that
Starting point is 00:53:41 I mean Nah she's She's 25 She's not the old. No, no, yeah. She ain't the old ho. She's the young one. But she definitely changed.
Starting point is 00:53:48 She's a vet, though. Oh, she's a vet. Yeah, she is. She's a vet. That's crazy to be a vet that young. Educate me. I don't know. I'm not familiar with her.
Starting point is 00:53:57 She's been doing adult films for some time. How long? At least five, six, seven, something like that. And then she went to jail And still ain't lose no step Like came out of jail She went to jail for real? Yeah She did some prison time
Starting point is 00:54:10 Why do people love her? Have you seen her videos? So you've never seen Any of her videos then? I No Okay Well no
Starting point is 00:54:18 That answers the question She appears to take pride In playing shield Yeah she loves what she does She's an artiste Her pepper grinder motion well it looks like you're doing the shoulder all jumping around hell is my son jody you're right hey son hey have you seen tiana trump before
Starting point is 00:54:40 fam i'm not doing this whim Wim wasting time with you getting a fucking mic yo the bar is so low for men nah nah her saliva output is high
Starting point is 00:54:50 nah bro I'm gonna be honest there was a time where I don't know the politically correct term but I thought she was the R word we can't say before
Starting point is 00:54:57 like she was slobbing that much wait there's a R word I was about to say yeah what's the R word there's a R word there's a R word no no no that's fine don't try to guess it's cool yeah yeah let's just chill let's just chill word yeah what's the r word don't try to guess
Starting point is 00:55:06 it's cool but yeah she's different damn I don't know what the r word is do you see what her tweet says her tweet says to all women that are scared to suck dick oh I eat so much dick why the fuck am I so skinny
Starting point is 00:55:21 that doesn't excite me I'm not excited about the tweets actually I never want to hear her talk her Snapchat though but she did she did she might have been the only person
Starting point is 00:55:38 I followed on Snapchat when I was up there y'all ever beat off the Snapchat when Tiana Trump was getting busy so your answer is yes don't justify it yes yeah keep it above i've never had a snapchat all right yeah let's move on no i haven't no i haven't i haven't beat off the snapchat okay i think it's a lie no i'm being real i haven't you never got any uh particularly enticing photographs that may have inspired you yeah but i the fuck is the point if it's gonna disappear when i leave the shit?
Starting point is 00:56:05 Exactly. Oh, I'm king of screenshot. And you're going to know how screenshot is. Get mad at me all you want. Snapchat tells you. All right, hold on. I'm about to really get into my nerd bag real quick.
Starting point is 00:56:15 There was a little hack you used to can do. I don't know if it's still available, but you used to be able to save the shit from Snapchat without them knowing. Let me help you out. If you a real nigga,
Starting point is 00:56:25 today... Yeah, I know what he about to say. It just saves. Like, if you that dude, she'll save it to the chat for you. So it doesn't even gotta do it. Nah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:35 I haven't used Snapchat in a million years. Me either. But there was a run. But when I was using it, it was for the long distance. Snap your pussy from wherever you at, Europe or somewhere.
Starting point is 00:56:46 Snap it to a nigga. That's like the mail. You PS that pussy. Can we say that? Am I going to cancel that? Yeah, you can. Savon's not flagging anything. I can't?
Starting point is 00:56:58 You PS. Yo, Gotti said Snapchat me that pussy. He did. He did. He did. Yeah, he did. And made it popular. did. He did. He did. Yeah, he did. And made it popular. Right.
Starting point is 00:57:07 And they was doing it. All right. I don't care about Tiana Trump and LaMelo Ball right this second. All right. What else we got? I was watching Tiana Trump when her and Brittany Renner were being best friends for like a month. I'm still mad that never came out, by the way. What was there to come out? There was a rollout. There was a rollout for mad that never came out, by the way. What was there to come out?
Starting point is 00:57:25 There was a rollout for something that never came out. Because there was nothing probably that ever existed. It was a rollout like there was something to come out. I don't think anything. It didn't happen. Do y'all want to get into... No, I don't want to get into this just yet.
Starting point is 00:57:42 But boy, was it entertaining. Actually, let's get into our Southern music portion of the show since we're a Southern music podcast now and none of us have an accent. All you need is an accent and a real story and
Starting point is 00:57:57 I'm rolling. I believe everything all the Southern artists say. You don't need a gun? I believe they have a gun. I think that's part of the criteria. They all have guns. I agree. Guns are so easy to get down there now. It's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:58:09 That is true. So everybody has them. My man's living in Atlanta. He was like, yo, check this out. You see a young dude with a duffel bag? Ain't no sneakers in that bag. So just leave him alone. And I thank him for that advice.
Starting point is 00:58:20 I'm not going to Atlanta because I don't play gun games. I got shit to live for but it's good to know kodak black involved in a shooting that leaves security guard injured before we get to uh southern music southern yeah yeah it's not music but this is where that that con that confliction comes kodak was one of the artists that they played in the strip club and he made me spend money. He makes that music. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:52 And from what I hear about him, he's one of them. He's one of them. We don't need to go into it further. One of them. So this story that came out, Kodak Black has been involved in a shooting in Florida
Starting point is 00:59:04 leaving one of his security guards with a gunshot wound to the leg. Now, according to TMZ, the rapper who was in town headlining Culture Fest was ambushed outside of a McDonald's in Tallahassee, Florida, in the early hours this morning. That is all I'm going to read from that, because to understand this story, you need an interpreter. And that's why we're here. Somebody help me. Who's the interpreter? Ice? Me and Ice.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Kodak Black was hungry. Right. After a show. Three in the morning. Like we all are. Correct. This is
Starting point is 00:59:42 what I read from just different places. and heard from different places kodak black while he was headed to mcdonald's noticed cars following him he's seen they saw the car following that's what it said no a few cars it said yeah what i said what i read it said they noticed a few cars trailing them, and he still went to McDonald's. Well, he was hungry. This nigga's the toughest nigga in the world. I don't go home when I think of somebody following me.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Me neither. He still went to McDonald's. Cool. Well, he got security force with him, too. Well, that's what my brain said. Pull up to McDonald's, had a security, get out. They attempted to block the entrance so nobody else could come and even turn into the McDonald's. Now, I read that Kodak Black himself, after security offered to get out and get the McDonald's, said no.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Well, you, because niggas, yo, you send somebody to get your McDonald's they eat your fries they'll fuck the nuggets so yeah they eat your fries come on they won't get the extra sauce that you need
Starting point is 01:00:49 correct when I'm hungry yeah yeah yeah alright I'm following that so far so he gets out you're following that so far it makes sense
Starting point is 01:00:57 if you send somebody to McDonald's they're gonna fuck up the order and they're gonna eat half your fries before they get back when the niggas are outside with the ratchets
Starting point is 01:01:04 but I got niggas with the ratchets. But I got niggas with ratchets. No, that's me and you. The honey mustard don't taste that good. I'm cool. That's to me and you. Fuck it. His taste buds say it's remarkable. His taste buds say it's delicious when niggas is trying to shoot me.
Starting point is 01:01:18 He goes in. He goes in, gets his McDonald's. They start shooting outside. It's security. It's getting shot. It start shooting outside. His security is getting shot. That's not funny. No, it's not. But apparently, that wasn't enough to make Kodak black. He stayed.
Starting point is 01:01:34 He stayed to get his food. He stayed and waited for his food while the niggas was outside. Have you ever been hungry? He stayed to get his food. And you had your mouth shut or something? I'm not doing this with you. He stayed to get his food. Cool.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Security got hit, but it's not fatal. He's not in critical condition. Legs chopped. Whatever it was, he went to the hospital. Cool. I thought that was the end of the night. No. The next morning, Kodak Black posts a picture of a beautiful Lamborghini truck.
Starting point is 01:02:00 It was lime green. It was a beautiful rim on it. And with the caption, this is what y'all was supposed to shoot if you're shooting at me don't shoot at my security that's what he's saying so now when i tell y'all that i'm i'd be scared to death to come in here and discuss hip-hop this is why this is why i feel you what the fuck am i supposed to say about fam joe let me ask you a question no i'm not hungry anymore i'm tired i'm going home not even about the mcdonald's part y'all niggas going i'm going to the precinct
Starting point is 01:02:37 i'm driving straight to the precinct niggas that bag baby that's crazy driving right to takashi that's what you're supposed to i'm driving right to takashi i've now shoot me they're gonna know well my question about about that is this so on one hand i'm glad you mentioned takashi people clown him for not living his raps okay now on the other hand you have rappers who do live their raps and it's like you're kind of torn so it's like what do you want you want to wrap it i like you're kind of torn. So it's like, what do you want? You want a rapper that rap this shit but don't live it? Or somebody like this?
Starting point is 01:03:09 I'm living what I'm rapping. Yo, if you're going to shoot at me, shoot at this. I like people that make good decisions. It don't matter what field it is. Yeah, I was about to say that. So what side are you on? I just want to get the nuggets, he's saying. He's hungry.
Starting point is 01:03:21 Oh, no, no. Me, personally? I don't even want McDonald's. As soon as I saw the car following me, I'm not even hungry no more. You lost my appetite. Yeah personally I don't even want McDonald's as soon as I saw the car following me I'm not even hungry lost my appetite yeah I'm not even hungry
Starting point is 01:03:29 I got some ramen in the house I'll be good them four cars look like they serious but listen past him saying this is what you were supposed to shoot
Starting point is 01:03:37 a few days earlier we were talking about Southside threatening Kodak right no not threatening Kodak well no he did threaten Kodak little Uzi No, not threatening Kodak. Well, no. He did threaten Kodak.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Little Uzi. They had their own beef. That was separate. Then he threatened Kodak. Well, the reason why he threatened Kodak was because social media called him out. They were like, oh, so you can speak to Uzi, but you can't speak to nothing Kodak said. So then he doubled back.
Starting point is 01:04:01 He let social media gas him to now call Kodak out. But this is back to why I'm scared to death to be involved in any of this hip hop shit, right? Even if whatever happened to Kodak didn't have nothing to do with nothing that Southside said, boy, it just looks away. Yeah. Well, this is why. It just looks away. It does.
Starting point is 01:04:24 And this is why. And this is why I just looks the way it does and this is why I wouldn't want to threaten I wouldn't want to say to my phone on the internet yo Ish when I see you I'm gonna kill you
Starting point is 01:04:33 correct because God forbid if something happens to Ish you're a palm suspect knock on wood of course because we love Ish and who else would I run a train with
Starting point is 01:04:40 or steal the girl train girl from ruin the train yeah I had a great night derailed the train you girl from? Ruin the train. Yeah. I had a great night. Derailed the train. You should have started
Starting point is 01:04:47 jerking when I started jerking. Why weren't you jerking? Here's the problem. The jerk train. I didn't steal a bitch. She came in the bathroom. Yo, you know what's funny about this?
Starting point is 01:05:02 Yo, and you my man. You know what would be really funny? If Johnny tell this story. Now, Johnny's engaged, so we can't call him. But Johnny thought he had something popping when I pulled the bathroom move one time. And then I hit the group chat. Wait. Oh, my.
Starting point is 01:05:16 I remember that. I remember that. I remember that. Oh, my God. Poor Johnny. I took that bitch right in the bathroom. Get over here and look at this. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I took that bitch right in the bathroom. Get over here and look at this. Consensually.
Starting point is 01:05:30 Consensually. Consensually. Got to be clear now. So listen, back to Southern hip hop. We were talking on the way here. Or just hip hop in the South, man. We talking on the way here. And I'm playing all that shit I like.
Starting point is 01:05:42 Because I do like it now. Moneybagg, yo. EST ESTG Two weeks with Ice and Dew No, but let's talk about that I'm not a rap guy like at all Be clear I'm not a rap guy Yeah, even when he was rapping
Starting point is 01:05:57 he was already Yeah, he did not fuck with rap Once the 90s left and once Get Rich or Die Tryin' came out that was it maybe a few Lupe albums and Jadakiss albums you have your staples but as far as listening to nah that was never my bad
Starting point is 01:06:11 and if I was going to listen to it I definitely wasn't listening to South Shit, Sands, Outkast you know the ones Goody Mom today though Ice I think the southern dudes just make much better music uh in totality they've been doing this no no no no wild no no no yes they have i don't think so
Starting point is 01:06:34 the southern dudes have been made that there's a reason why hip-hop moved to atlanta the southern the south took over and and the gatekeeper old niggas from new york just did not want to admit it. It just felt organic. It really felt like the things that they were speaking about and creating was real. And they had their own sound. It wasn't chasing
Starting point is 01:06:51 nobody else's sound. They made everybody chase their sound. That's what happened. I'll agree with that. I would like Lil Baby no matter where he was from. That's just the run he's on.
Starting point is 01:07:01 But where's he from? That counts. Where is he from? Is he from Atlanta? Yes. Listen, the shit he's on. But where's he from? That counts. Where is he from? Is he from Atlanta? Yes. Listen, the shit he say, though I may not live that life, I feel a lot of it. I feel a lot of it. Pac is number one on my list, not because he was the greatest rapper, because I felt all that shit.
Starting point is 01:07:19 And most of y'all did, too. Thank you for saying that, that he wasn't the greatest rapper. I needed that. He wasn't the greatest rapper. That's all I've ever said but go ahead. Yeah but Machiavelli is better than 90% of the albums that have come out since. I agree with that. Me Against the World
Starting point is 01:07:31 is better than 80% of the albums. I'm just talking. I think Machiavelli's better. I'm just saying. Timeless. Lil Baby I can feel him. Moneybag Yo when he rap I feel it. ESTG I feel it. Some of these niggas that's talking that real shit not the real shit like killings
Starting point is 01:07:48 and deaths and murders because I've never lived that life I want to be clear you have to let people know who you are so they know how to treat you that's not the part I feel in that music but all that other shit I feel and that just wasn't happening for me a decade ago
Starting point is 01:08:04 or when I was when Laffy Taffy and all that other shit I feel, and that just wasn't happening for me a decade ago or when I was, when Laffy Taffy and all that shit. Wow, that's different. Walk, you saying it's different, but when the South is here and we taking over in the 2000s, those are the, walk it out, lean with it, rock with it. But for every walk it out, lean with it, rock with it, there was a T.I., Rubber Band Man. There was a Gucci. Look who you just, stop. Look who you just had to name. I. There was a T.I., Rubber Band Man. There was a Gucci. Look who you just had to name.
Starting point is 01:08:28 I'm just saying. T.I., Gucci, D-D-D. They had this shit, though. It was always there. The niggas we talking about now ain't such mainstream commercial priority. You mentioned Lil Baby. He is the mainstream rapper right now. But he earned that. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Yeah, totally. I want to argue that. He got totally. I want to argue that. He got that. I want to argue that. What? Because I'm with you. No, he earned that. He did.
Starting point is 01:08:50 So when niggas say his name at the top of the totem pole, I don't even really count it. Because he came into a camp as a dude who didn't rap. Didn't rap. Didn't want to rap. My man put me on the gym. And wanted nothing to do with nothing. Correct. Not only that, he came into a crew where them niggas was on fire.
Starting point is 01:09:10 That's real. We haven't seen that happen before? No. No. We've never seen a nigga come into a group that was on fire and wanted to rap and become a star? Kanye. And say, I'm not a rapper? No.
Starting point is 01:09:22 No. You just said Kanye is one. But he's always been a rapper kanye never walked and he wanted to kanye was it stop we don't need to do this kanye was in music yeah he wasn't rapping but he was in music he didn't get to that level but beans was not a rapper this was a street nigga who just knew how to rap but beans didn't but he couldn't get out but wait time out time out i'm glad you said that let's's stay there. Beans didn't go a little bit. No, no, stop. Let's take Beans.
Starting point is 01:09:46 I want to have this argument. Let's take Beans. Beans came out and said, I'm not a rapper. He was a street nigga. A bully. A street bully. Street bully at the time, right? And maybe it wasn't so much.
Starting point is 01:10:00 It wasn't no internet. So the stories that you heard was he had a shootout with the police and he knocked some niggas out the end unless you were from philadelphia you knew more and you knew more correct but what we are was a shootout with the police and he knocked a bunch of niggas out known for knocking niggas out the end that ain't what's happening today well you just and we're not and we're not gonna say what is happening today. We not doing that. But some of these niggas.
Starting point is 01:10:30 We have the internet now. That matters. And then on top of that, these niggas, they're telling you themselves. We don't have to say it. They telling you, I did this to this nigga, and this nigga, this nigga, this nigga. They're putting their shit out there. These little rappers now are walking indictments.
Starting point is 01:10:50 All of them. And we like it i love it and when they're not a walking indictment we look at them funny i.e cj is that his name cc yeah yeah cj cj i don't hear nobody going up for cj he got a hard record drill beat talking that shit i asked my kid how the kids feel about him. Doesn't really live it. A lot of that is off a look too. Yo, which is... So back to what I was saying earlier. I have a theory. I like a lot of these Southern niggas and they getting it off.
Starting point is 01:11:18 But my theory, Parks, was geographically, geographically, those states are able to street a lot better today whereas in New York we had some prominent street niggas that maybe had a future
Starting point is 01:11:35 in rap but they either got killed or they went to jail oh shit look Bobby and Robbie prime example can't even have a gun up here. Listen, imagine if all of them Southern niggas that keep getting caught with guns lived in New York. Yeah, no, that's not happening. It's over.
Starting point is 01:11:52 You're not getting that music anymore. So these niggas have the space and the freedom to maybe execute some of this stuff better than New York people. So they just keep delivering. They just keep delivering artists that are not artists but they're making a way niggas is hustlers yeah that's what it is niggas is hustlers they found a new lane and it's the new product we sell
Starting point is 01:12:13 and I'm buying and if I get better at it then I just become a rapper but but this ain't it and the scary part this is the scary part like when Atlanta really got popping and all we kept hearing in new york was oh they so unified oh they get along that wasn't really it wasn't i know but but that was mainstream perception correct now today the scary part is it looks true today today it looks like
Starting point is 01:12:42 all these that ain't really rappers are friends with each other. ESTG, I heard them on a baby song. You fucking, any one of these niggas albums you pick up, they all on the project.
Starting point is 01:12:56 Right now, all of the must-have features are from a certain area. So you have to have, again, for the newer generation, so like you mentioned ESTG, we talked about, for the newer generation. So like you mentioned ESTG, you know,
Starting point is 01:13:06 we talked about, in the car, we talked about Poosh Ice D. You have to have certain artists on your record. People are checking your features. Stop right there. That's what I wanted Ice to do.
Starting point is 01:13:16 I wanted you to educate me on Poosh Ice D. I have no idea who he is. I know he signed. You've heard his record. You've heard, I know you've, if you were out last night,
Starting point is 01:13:23 you heard his record. What's the record? Back in Blood. That shit is amazing. I've never heard it. You have heard it. you if you were out last night you heard his record what's the record back in blood that shit is amazing i've never heard it you have heard it play it play it all right give me the uh pushaisti uh i i keep i pushaisti the first time i heard his name was when meek said takashi said he said some pushaisti but i didn't know why that was so funny all right but i guess it's why is it funny because pushaisti is like one of them well yeah he's one of them and in in the record he says i got my own fire i don't need security in the club and oh that's why that's funny to him while having let me hit a record let me hit a record
Starting point is 01:13:53 i know you've heard this song you can't go out without hearing this song I'm on the way, yes, I'm back from vacation The music with me, so I'm gonna get this shit in blood, oh Bitch, I got my own fight on this kid And the bitch, I'm all they want for no, no, no, no, no, no I ain't got no money, no, no, no, no, no I'm trying to tell this nigga, man, listen to me Bitch, I'm gonna get it back in blood Bitch, I'm gonna get it back in blood We ain't mask up no dog
Starting point is 01:14:25 We got two guns Nigga I've been shooting all the air guns I just like the 80s Want some baguette and then blood Listen Yo Yo All this
Starting point is 01:14:33 All right Sorry I got We got to pop you I can't My bad Yo Fan when that shit came I tried to
Starting point is 01:14:39 But wait He don't have another record He's on that spot I don't got him Record I don't know what that is He got a record The beatbox joint
Starting point is 01:14:47 That everyone does The challenge to Where they do that Little silly dance Or whatever He's on the second verse He got a record with What's her name
Starting point is 01:14:54 The skinny chick Oh Quota the Ray He got a record with her Spodum got him Is that gentleman's name Have you seen him Can you put a picture of him I've seen a picture of him
Starting point is 01:15:04 Okay He looks like Every I believe everything I've seen a picture of him. Okay. He looks like every I believe everything. I don't even know any of his verses. Whatever he's saying, he did it. Whatever he said, he did it. I don't know any spot him, got him lyrics. He did it. I looked them shits up the other day.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Honestly. I believe him. Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Okay. Tay-K was 17. Yo. I believe 17. Yo. I believe everything. Yo, what do you want? Parks, say something.
Starting point is 01:15:29 All jokes. No, honestly, because I know me and you share in our New York bias, and this topic that we on is a huge reason as to why I try to avoid it. But, I mean, we here, we in a a space of hip hop where it's unavoidable. Spodum Godum. Look at the name. 18 years old. Yo, you know my other thing about these rappers from these other country places?
Starting point is 01:15:56 Like, what are the feds doing out there? Like, the feds in New York just seem busier and on you a little more. They're watching a little more. You could never Spodum Godum in New York just seem busier And on you a little more They watching a little more You could never spot them Got them in New York Nah they wouldn't let us They would get you They would spot you and get you
Starting point is 01:16:15 Yeah they would spot you and get you Hell yeah So this is the kid that has everybody doing the stupid dance Yeah this is the What's it called? Beatbox I always wanted to ask how that caught on, but I was too afraid. Bro. It's a guy.
Starting point is 01:16:30 It's a dancer who made it popular. The Junebug dude. Yeah, Junebug. Oh, Spottum got him and got Pooh Shaggy on the song. Yeah. That's what I was saying earlier. That's what he's saying. All right.
Starting point is 01:16:39 So I did hear the Pooh Shaggy song. Yes, you did. Got it. Got it. Got it. All these people are the same shit that we talking about. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:16:47 Yeah. And it's all hard. They look like their cousins. All of them. And I believe all of it. And these niggas look like I believe all of it. Shoot your fucking nose off.
Starting point is 01:16:56 And they all fuck with each other. Right. Whether they like you or not, out of respect to what we trying to build. They all get money. This is why I don't leave the house. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:04 I feel you. I don't leave the house. I feel you. I don't want no beef. Could you imagine beefing with some, like, I'm not even saying shit slick to you on social media, bro. You got it. You got it, homie. These little niggas look good.
Starting point is 01:17:14 Here's my question to y'all. I'm good. How do y'all know that some niggas are believable? Some shit you don't, but I don't want to find out if it's not true. I'm 45, so I don't really want to't want to find out if it's not true I'm 45 so I don't really want to yeah you got it
Starting point is 01:17:28 play craps you got it like you know what I mean you got that playboy you got it I'm going home these little niggas look different so then how do you avoid
Starting point is 01:17:36 problems with people when I stay in the house when you're out I'm not I'm not trying to if you're out it could just happen
Starting point is 01:17:42 right yeah then you got it you don't have a choice and if one of these little and if one of the little kids that look like they might be a little kid. Oh, I'm the king of them. Oh, my bad. It don't even be my bad, but it's my bad.
Starting point is 01:17:54 Real shit. What? I got a baby to get home to, fam. My bad. Yeah. I'm definitely putting on my slickest fedora so that they can know I'm not out looking for trouble. I'm not fucking with your army, nigga. 100%.
Starting point is 01:18:06 But I think that's everywhere. How you move, niggas will give you that respect. If they see you not looking for trouble, they ain't tripping off of you. It's be the nigga. Nah, 100%. This day and age, if you're not one of those guys and you ain't looking to be that guy,
Starting point is 01:18:18 they ain't tripping off of you. Unless you do something with it, the trouble has to come find you now. Yeah. See, that's the part that can never really get publicized. Some of the shit that go on in hip hop, we kind of know why it happens. Right.
Starting point is 01:18:31 It just can't come out. Right. Like, we know why. You know what? Yeah, let's move on. Yeah. Leave it alone. Salute to all these fine gentlemen.
Starting point is 01:18:42 Fine entrepreneurs. Obstinate citizens. Yeah. Fine entrepreneurs. Keep going citizens. Fine entrepreneurs. Keep going. Keep making a great music. And they're getting money too. They are?
Starting point is 01:18:48 They're all in open carry states. Yes. Every last one of them. There's a reason for that. Even looking back, I remember Wayne. Wayne said, I'm never coming to New York again.
Starting point is 01:19:00 Ever. I don't care. I can't carry a gun. I can't carry a gun. Exactly. I can't bring a banger. These dudes are putting their, their bodies in choruses.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Yeah. Allegedly. Yeah. Yeah. And making it sound fire. I put the blame on that. Honestly, that goes back to,
Starting point is 01:19:19 I can't laugh at that. I'm just saying it's true. Right. It's true. But like, I feel for, for what's the, what's the line that they keep saying, smoking on Tuki, Tuka, Tuka. I feel for T it's true. You're right. It's true. But I feel for, what's the line that they keep saying, smoking on Tukey?
Starting point is 01:19:26 Tuca. Tuca. I feel for Tuca's mom. You see his mom. I feel that when she says, yo, fam, enough is enough. Right. It's my kid. Yeah. My kid.
Starting point is 01:19:39 Same with, you don't feel that ish? There was somebody else that happened to too. Feel what? Because I saw how you was like. It's just, this shit is really a sad place. Ain't nothing to debate. If I walk out the door and get smoked, I would think that the people that love me wouldn't want to hear smoking on button.
Starting point is 01:19:58 Correct. Now you have beef with niggas. I totally agree. And those niggas want to now, ha ha, we smoking on button.'s what it looks like it's happening i mean i don't know i'm not from there well i'm glad you said that that is why i don't beef with niggas it's not because i'm scared of any of y'all niggas i'm scared of the niggas i have to call right when there's beef with y'all i mean it's a it's a two-way street though everybody got nigg, it's a two-way street, though.
Starting point is 01:20:25 Everybody got niggas. It's a two-way street. No, no, no. Everybody don't got niggas. Everybody don't have niggas. That's not true. Everybody don't. I got niggas.
Starting point is 01:20:34 I'm going to be honest with y'all. I got niggas. Yeah, but what Joe's saying is correct. My biggest worry is doing some stupid shit and then having to call those people and explain to them how I got myself in this stupid shit and now they have to put themselves at risk
Starting point is 01:20:48 for some shit I didn't have to really do anyways. Talk about it. That's my thing. And now you're giving the nigga baby a lot of money every month
Starting point is 01:20:54 because he a lot. Come on, man. Yeah, that's whack. Listen, all of that could be prevented by just saying my bad. You right. When I was beefing
Starting point is 01:21:03 with Ran like an idiot, shout out to Ran, my brother. When I was beefing with Ran like an idiot shout out to Ran my brother when I was beefing with Ran like an idiot Ran got with some niggas took a camera over to Buck Stallion's house and smacked the shit out of Dee Diddy
Starting point is 01:21:17 Buck's brother you know what's funny for about 4 years that was me that got smacked now that was you that got smacked. I know. Now, that was you. No, no, I know.
Starting point is 01:21:30 I know. I just thought that was you. Hey, but let's take it past that. Oh, yeah. Go ahead, though. Buck was my man. Right. Had nothing to do with nothing. Buck was my man.
Starting point is 01:21:38 And he still didn't have nothing to do with nothing. And Rand knew Buck and his brother. And his brother's this sweetest apple pie sweetest apple pie right by the soul so when that happened i really got angry not because you did that but you did it to the sweetest guy in the world so i went and spoke to some people who maybe spoke to some people that were not the sweetest guys in the world right and i told them what happened and they said call your man's back and ask him if he's prepared for what we prepared for and i called buck and duane and i invited him over to my house and I sat him in the living room and I said, listen, I didn't like that shit that happened to y'all.
Starting point is 01:22:30 I have somebody that's ready to do X, Y and Z tonight. Now. But are y'all going to be OK with it? Because let me tell you what that means. It means blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah face Wu-Tang niggas at Rock the Bells or whatever the fuck that was. And the slaughterhouse niggas pulled me to the side. And they was like, what you want to do? And in my moment of anger, being emotional, I want to shoot it all up. Call everybody.
Starting point is 01:23:18 You sure? Because. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But if you want to, we can take it there. It can happen. You know what? No. I don't want you to.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Like, that's how that goes. I forgot how we got here. We know what's dope about that is that a lot of people don't know. You could have changed that perception. Because there's a perception about you of whether it be soft or a negative person in the press. Because there's a perception about you of whether it be soft or a negative person in the press. In your movement, in history, you've had people behind you who were really with that shit. In your introduction to the game, you had that.
Starting point is 01:24:01 So it really just takes a person to understand why would I put all of this and all these other people at risk for something that I don't have to be a part of. Yeah. See, but that's my other thing. Like, even the gangsters like it's different today like there would have been a gangster conversation to be had back then where the we were just talking about it where the niggas you know will really take it there maybe they're busy getting money they're busy fucking bitches they're busy doing something taking it there is the last option it's the last resort they're not trying to do that today these niggas is just running around shooting shooting the daylight shoot by the precinct well they don't have
Starting point is 01:24:33 shoot at a show they don't have the big homies like that you mentioned you know the ones that would sit there and that's because the big homies is fucking 22 years old like the grandmas. Right. That's a good point. That is. That's exactly what it is. But again, there's no organizational structure. And the grandmas are not 20, but you know what I'm saying. No, they're 30. Grandmas are 40.
Starting point is 01:24:53 No, they're 30. And Trey, don't you fucking try it either. Square you right on up, buddy. I'm not cool. I would not be cool as a granddad right now. A lot of grandparents Are 37 years old Like for real We're doing that
Starting point is 01:25:09 We're doing that Yo one of the hottest Yo there's There's a A hot grandparent That's popular That's why I wanted to call Rory 37 years old
Starting point is 01:25:19 Like for real For real So again What real Real And again we touched on this last time What real Father figure do they have When niggas got bodies at 16 my nigga
Starting point is 01:25:30 Multiple Niggas got a song claiming the bodies in the hook Yeah but you can't let that That group of people Represent a whole generation Of kids Let's not leave that out there Let me tell you why
Starting point is 01:25:45 Because these are the kids That these motherfuckers Want to emulate I remember when Because We wasn't that popular And the Wu-Tang niggas bought And Redman started talking about
Starting point is 01:25:55 How to roll a blunt And we hit on like wildfire Everybody wanted to do What they doing Hold on So let me give you an example Trey's sitting here Trey you don't want to be
Starting point is 01:26:03 That type of person Obviously right And he's of that He's of that ilk right He is but Trey's sitting here. Trey, you don't want to be that type of person, obviously, right? And he's of that ilk, right? He is, but Trey don't come from... He's not the majority. He's one side of the coin. Right. There's two sides of the coin.
Starting point is 01:26:12 Because while there might be many of them, there's also many of Trey's. I'm not disagreeing. But watch this. In the inner city, where a lot of these little niggas come from, they don't got a father. You get what I'm saying? They don't have the opportunities that he has so when you don't have those opportunities yep your niggas is the niggas outside that's doing whatever it's what to raise yourselves like y'all are raising these niggas are raising themselves they got they they crutches are they niggas yep i feel like i'm
Starting point is 01:26:41 getting gray hairs just listening to these guys. Yeah, this shit different. Listen, I'm scared of these little niggas at the bodega. No beef. As you should be. Hey, and back to niggas you should be afraid of. Lil Tim has been released on a $100,000 bond. For those that don't know, Lil Tim is the man accused of killing King Vaughn. I'm saying accused because he has not gone to court. Correct.
Starting point is 01:27:06 And I kind of think I know what he's going to say when he goes to court. Rest in peace King Vaughn, of course. And there was what? There was like uproar about this. Yeah, I've seen both sides. I mean, I didn't understand because I don't know the laws of that particular state. I didn't understand how a person... I'll tell you what
Starting point is 01:27:24 they are right now. Yeah, yeah. Well, I was- If you want to go there, but- Giving more information after the fact. But I was just wondering, like, I've never known a person charged with murder on tape to be released on a bond. But then once I heard, like you were explaining in the car, that you can get away with shit down there.
Starting point is 01:27:42 Yo, this boy looks like a baby, my nigga. He's a young, he's... He's a kid. How old is he? How old is he? He barely got facial hair. 22 years old. That's when I would say he's a baby
Starting point is 01:27:54 and somebody else would tell me that's a grown ass man. But you know what though? Like if you look at New York. Know why you calling him a baby? Because you have one sitting right there. That's his age. But look at Alpo look at Alpo
Starting point is 01:28:07 all those guys of that age that era they were young guys doing a lot of this similar stuff too so it's not so like unbelievable
Starting point is 01:28:15 to think oh these young kids are wilding out like that's they were the exception it's nah they weren't the exception
Starting point is 01:28:22 they were just popular we're seeing more they were more of them it was happening it was happening in LA it was it's not it weren't the exception they were just popular we're seeing more they were more of them it was happening it was happening in la it was happening all over it was happening once the gangs hit in la i would shoot at you niggas right now if i had a gun wow because we were making a sim sim old again yeah i sent some heat by that's what i'm gonna make the phone call let's all tell them, yo, I need y'all to handle that. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You sure?
Starting point is 01:28:47 You sure you want to go there, my nigga? Are you prepared? Me getting a gun is like your girlfriend getting a gun. I would just do shit. Just based off emotion. Playing around. Yeah. Hey, there's 20 niggas out there doing that.
Starting point is 01:29:01 It's like, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. Hey. Hey, your wife's so much noise out there. Shut up, old man. Oh, wait. Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. Hey, why is so much noise out there? Shut up, old man. Oh, wait. Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. So we got to make sure you don't get a gun this Monday. You know how many problems I have during the day where that was just all car wash.
Starting point is 01:29:16 Yo, the vacuum, you ain't do the inside. Now we did the inside. Oh, yeah. Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. I feel these niggas. Yeah. Nah,
Starting point is 01:29:27 let's not laugh about it. Nah, we're not laughing about that. No, we're definitely not laughing about this. None of this is funny. When is his trial? I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:29:36 I didn't see a date. I have no clue. Y'all were updating me on the Chauvin trial details. Yeah. Yeah. And I was wondering where y'all were getting
Starting point is 01:29:47 these details from because y'all... It's been all over the news. Yeah, they... I watch the news every day. Well, no, you can watch it. No, you can watch the trial. I'm watching fake news.
Starting point is 01:29:56 You can watch the full trial. You can watch the full trial. Mainstream media news. Yeah, I'm watching that. I saw that shit on CBS or something. They have it on YouTube. They're doing a daily update. Right.
Starting point is 01:30:03 You can listen in. Give me what I need to know that has occurred thus far. I was shocked at some of the things y'all were sharing. CBS or something they have it on YouTube they doing a daily update right you can listen in give me give me give me what I need to know that has occurred thus far I was shocked at some of the things y'all were sharing last night the chief of police
Starting point is 01:30:10 under the bus the chief of police threw him under the bus they are getting as far as they can away from him but is he but are they throwing him
Starting point is 01:30:18 under the bus or are they saving their ass I think it's better both no probably both I think they're doing that to save their ass they're 100% throwing better both. No, probably both. They're doing that to save their ass.
Starting point is 01:30:28 They're 100% throwing him under the bus. The chief of police is a black man, for what it's worth. Not just that. I wasn't there. Like, that's not his training. I wasn't there. So they aren't necessarily exonerating themselves.
Starting point is 01:30:39 I think they're just speaking to what the rest of America saw. That's been their main point. You know what I'm saying? We didn't train him to do that. That's not something that we practice. We train them to saying? We didn't train him to do that. That's not something that we practiced. We trained them to do the opposite. We trained them to actually do the opposite. So even with all this testimony
Starting point is 01:30:51 that y'all say was given, y'all think he gets off? No, I don't think he gets off this call. Not just that, I think this is the biggest case in the country since Rodney King. I think he gets a lighter sentence than we probably want, but No, I think this is the biggest case in the country since Rodney King. I think he gets a lighter sentence than we probably want but no I think he gets
Starting point is 01:31:07 hit with everything and then those other three they gonna get light shit. Are gonna get light and I think that's how it goes. I don't know. Okay. What you think guys? I really don't know bro. That's a shame that we don't know. Yeah I see everything in front
Starting point is 01:31:24 of us at the same time, I am not going to be surprised if the verdict comes out the other way. And that's sad. I'm with you on that. I don't give a fuck who get up there and say what. You can have him get up there and say, yeah, I did it. Yeah, whatever. Fuck him. And I'm still jury of your peers.
Starting point is 01:31:42 Yeah, no, it's different. They got to, you know what I'm saying? They got to be the ones to say that. And history has been on the other side of that. Yeah no it's different they gotta you know what i'm saying like they gotta be the ones to say that and history has been on the other side of that yeah that's why i don't know that's a shame like he could get up the elevator like fuck that nigga they'd be like oh well his mental state yeah that's crazy i saw it and this is why i just chose to stay away from details of this because anytime i saw a detail it was something that made me feel like okay i see what's going on but when they got rid of one of the jurors uh they got rid of one of the jurors because they heard something on the news or some shit and thought it was horrible that a
Starting point is 01:32:18 black guy lost his life like that something like that and they got rid of him yeah because you can't be you're not supposed yeah you're supposed to stay away from those i know it's impossible i just learned that i just learned that this weekend i was watching a doc they tell them don't even watch the news at all like you can't read the news i'm watching a doc i'm watching a doc and i'll try to be fast here i'm watching a doc about a couple and the girl was drowned in the tub allegedly that's what the husband said she drowned in the tub there was no water in the tub okay drain plug and when he called the cops they came and got there and said she was dry they didn't have an ounce of water on her anywhere but her hair was wet okay they also saying that she flipped around she was found face down in the tub but she drowned
Starting point is 01:33:08 right cool i'm glued to this doc at the end two of the jurors say they went to the hotel and ran and took a bath and tried to air dry to just see how long it would take to dry. Got rid of the jurors. No, mistrial. Mistrial. Guy goes home. It's over. Wow. Because the two jurors tried that at home. And I was dumbfounded until
Starting point is 01:33:37 it just said, you can't. That is stupid. They want you to be completely neutral. You can't use your own brain. Neutral. No outside influence whatsoever. The stuff has to be vetted so i mean it has to be vetted by the court so they don't know if when you took the bath the temperature is the same they don't know if the surrounding stuff is the same you're not verified to do that so i do understand
Starting point is 01:33:59 but it's one of those things that's things that that just make you go. What are you showing me? Juror do's and don'ts during a trial? Great. Do arrive on time and return promptly shut up. I do pay close attention if you cannot hear what's shut up. Keep an open mind all through trial. Give me the don'ts. Yeah, don't.
Starting point is 01:34:20 Don't try to guess what the judge thinks about the case. Remember that the rulings from the bench do not reflect the judge's personal views. Don't talk about the case or issues raised by the case with anyone, including other jurors, while the trial is going on. And don't talk to the lawyers, parties, or witnesses about anything. None of this happened in your honor, by the way. Check this out. So a quick, quick story. While Max B was on trial, we were going to court every day up in Hackensack to the trial.
Starting point is 01:34:47 Yeah, I remember. Y'all was maxed out. Yeah, we was. Every day. We would leave court and go to Max's house and party and go back to court the next day. But this is my, tell your story and I'm going to get to my issue with you. All right. So I remember one of the times we were on, it was like a lunch break, whatever they call it.
Starting point is 01:35:06 And one of the people that was there for Max, the supporters, spotted one of the jurors coming out of a pizza shop and runs over there and was like, yo, man, you know he didn't do that. You gotta, and everybody ran and was like, dude, you could fuck this whole trial up. Like literally yanked him away from her
Starting point is 01:35:24 because he could fuck the trial up just by speaking to this juror about this case. He didn't know. He was just like, yo, you know he didn't do it. You can't do that. Like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Ice, you're one of the people documented, consistently documented, saying that with Max's attorney at the time and his behavior. Salute. It was probably plain as day that it wasn't going to end well.
Starting point is 01:35:48 I was. And your bum ass was up to you every day. Well, no. And didn't think to say, yo, dog. I said it. I'm like, is everybody talking afterwards? Oh, you're going to beat it? You know, you're listening to your lawyer.
Starting point is 01:35:59 Your lawyer's saying all this bullshit. Oh, I'm going to destroy her on the stand. Don't worry about nothing. I'm like, bro, listen. I'm at the same. Are we all at the same trial we hear this like i don't think y'all know the law you're fucked like i was saying that there was a lawyer on um um there's some little clip going around where there's a lawyer white guy in a suit doing a tiktok bid and i think the caption says uh what i'm what i say to the jury when blah blah blah and it's a money bag yo song playing and he's rapping the lyrics for like eight bars and it goes on was it was it saluti because that sounds like
Starting point is 01:36:37 it was it wasn't he made a world star video the day before interviewing or or cross-examining the prosecution's star witness, he made a world star video and went in the video saying what he was going to do to her tomorrow. He tweeted, I'm going to tear her up on the stand tomorrow. I remember. Like, bro, what the fuck are you doing? He was building a career. Yeah, guess where he at now. Just like the TikTok lawyer that I saw now. But that's my question.
Starting point is 01:37:05 Like, in some professions, you can't really get your social media off. Yeah. Right? That being one of them. A high-profile trial,
Starting point is 01:37:13 that might not be the place to do that. Because I just show you and your family in Aspen, you can't just be... Just don't do it. Yeah, just don't do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:20 Wait till after the trial. Just be known as a good lawyer like the natural way, like winning some cases. Right. My first record deal, I'll never forget, I was in the clubs all the trial. Just be known as a good lawyer like the natural way. Like winning some cases. Right. My first record deal, I'll never forget. I was in the clubs all the time.
Starting point is 01:37:30 Back home, on whatever street that was with all the clubs. And I bumped into my lawyer a few times. And it didn't feel good. I bet not. You looked at him
Starting point is 01:37:42 in a different light? He had a suit on in the club, bitch. Nigga, get out the fucking club and go do what the fuck you're supposed to do. I ain't going to lie. It's 2 in the morning. You got a suit on. What are you doing? Why are you here?
Starting point is 01:37:56 You look nuts. Why are you here? You got to go, man. You talking to the same girls. Yeah, he bagging them. If I see my child support lawyer in the street having fun, I'm fighting him. Have you ever got thanked for sending the child support? No.
Starting point is 01:38:09 Did she send a heart emoji? Did she send a heart emoji? No. No, never. Disrespectful. Never. I've been late a few times, but I've been on time late. Hey, you listening, I'd like a thank you once in a while.
Starting point is 01:38:25 That's the end. I wasn't going nowhere with this. Listen, we can keep it gangster. We can keep it cordial. I thought he was keeping it gangster. No, no, no. We keep it cordial. I can't have no child support conversations. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 01:38:40 No real ones. So everybody's voting cordial. Men can't have real conversations anywhere. No. It's over for that. I thought I was in a room with my friends. All right. Ish.
Starting point is 01:38:52 Let's relax. It's the time of the woman. We love you, women. And that child support will get me talking spicy, depending on what my mood is. I think it was last week I was dropping my baby off, but I was hugging him and stuff. Oh, wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:39:06 Loving on my baby. I'm behind on one of them. We might want to edit this whole shit. You behind on one of your child support payments? I'm talking shit. Nah, they got to find you to arrest you. They can't just arrest. They got to find where you're at.
Starting point is 01:39:19 What was I saying? I was hugging the baby. I was trying to drop my baby off, but I'm hugging on my baby. She said something like, give me my baby. Excuse me? We can keep it gangster. We can keep it gorgeous. How you want to?
Starting point is 01:39:32 My, my baby. You had time today? Oh, my God. Don't let me hear my baby. I love that. All right, come on. Let's move on. She hit me with that once.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Everybody getting nervous. She hit me with that once, though. I'm shaking. My daughter. But you fly with your kids' moms, right? Nah, just one of them. Oh. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:51 He's like, nah, chill out. Everybody relax. My bae. Yeah, listen. There we go. Hey, hey, hey. That man was crazy. You see what Sun had on?
Starting point is 01:40:05 Yo, Steve Harvey. He hit the chinchilla. He was bugging the guitarist. I love Andy. They killed you, too. Huh? They killed you. But I'm mad about that.
Starting point is 01:40:13 They put Joe up in the chinchilla next to Isley in the chinchilla. I got to take Joe's side on that one, bro. Normally, I'm with killing Joe, but y'all know how much a chinchilla costs, bro? No. You got to let him get that off. Let me tell you what. Joe how much a chinchilla costs, bro. No. You gotta let him get that off. No, let me tell you what. Joe messed up the chinchilla. He has on gray jeans.
Starting point is 01:40:29 Nigga said he had Robin jeans on, though. If he did the slacks. Yo, they did say I had on Robins. I have Robins on. Those are not Robins. They're Robins now, nigga. They're Robins. But what should I have worn on the bottom?
Starting point is 01:40:43 Need the slacks. I can't dress. I don't know. Slacks? You gotta go suited. I don't dress. I don't know. Slacks? You got to go suited. Nigga, I don't put that shit on with sweats. What are you talking about? Nah, you tripping.
Starting point is 01:40:50 You tripping. If I got a chinchilla, I'll wear whatever the fuck I want on it. What? You're tripping. I don't understand. I'll wear my drawers with a chinchilla. Like, nigga, yeah. Listen, having a chinchilla, we already know that you're wealthy or you have money.
Starting point is 01:41:02 That's out the way. And my teeth, nigga. Yeah. Niggas need to know you have a style, though. They still got me in trouble in there, coming in here next to Maul and Rory with my little teeth. Are you showing off the money? The biggest look to the side.
Starting point is 01:41:20 It's like, hold up, man. Hold up, hold up. You got teeth, too? Wait a second, buddy. Hey, yo, this nigga's so... That's crazy to get new teeth within a week. Just walk into the new pod. Just surprise niggas with new teeth.
Starting point is 01:41:34 Listen, as I get educated out here on some of this stuff, like, it's funny. Like, I was scared to death before I got these teeth, right? Going to get them, like, the process. I was scared to death. So I'm calling around, calling around, trying to get educated on fake teeth, eneers whatever why do i just call the right people the wrong people no because somebody's wrong i called it but i don't know
Starting point is 01:41:55 i did i called i called safari up to just hear his story and he's telling me his story and some of the stuff he paid and what he went for, what he was looking for. And I didn't say this, but in my head, I'm like, are you broke, bitch? No, I ain't going to get no fucking composite teeth.
Starting point is 01:42:17 Yo, you stupid. No, I can't do that. Give me, give me the phone cord. Give me the phone cord because Joe don't talk behind niggas' backs. It's right there. Can somebody help me? Right cord. Give me the phone cord because Joe don't talk behind niggas' backs. It's right there.
Starting point is 01:42:26 Can somebody help me? Oh, I'm sitting on it. Yeah, I don't talk behind people's back. You can't say stuff like that and then they hear it in the street and be like,
Starting point is 01:42:36 damn, that's my man. He said that. Niggas want the smoke. You got the duffel bag pulling up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. I can't do that.
Starting point is 01:42:42 So I'll call him. I'm not going to keep him on the phone, but he has to know what I said at least I call him a broke bitch you don't say surprised if she answered the phone no i'm gonna tell his voicemail yo this is what i said all right maybe we'll call back anyway all right moving right along moving right along moving right along this fun this room is funny
Starting point is 01:43:21 this room this this room this room all right do we have to discuss this right now i don't think so i mean did y'all y'all didn't see it i didn't see it let me make sure there's nothing else that we have to talk about before i talk about this no no oh no no no no no no no no no we do have to talk about that. But while we're on music, I wanted to get on some East Coast shit for a change. Okay. Fab and Drama rumored to have a tape coming. Mixtape. What he said, the There Is No Competition EP.
Starting point is 01:43:55 I don't know what it's called. Well, I'm reading Fab's post says, DJ Drama, let's do a There Is No Competition EP for the culture. Couple freestyle song flips. Yeah, but first off- That still don't tell us that it's gonna be called that but go ahead yeah because you have a there is no competition ep already for the for starts we all aware of that right we could have a two it is two the ep is two you could have three okay yeah i want to hear what Ice's issue is I don't wanna hear Fab rap no more Like he
Starting point is 01:44:25 Damn that's harsh Sheesh Bro I love Fab is in my top 10 personal But What the fuck Unless you willing to leave Instagram shit alone
Starting point is 01:44:38 And them topics I don't wanna hear you rap no more I wouldn't say at least I don't wanna hear him yet Like say I don't wanna hear him in that space But everything I've heard recently has been in that space i want to hear i want to hear fab so what you mean though all the time i don't want to hear trendy fab i don't want to hear social media fab that's what i mean and that's who he is now he can't separate
Starting point is 01:44:57 the two he's tried it last don't your rappers can you do me a favor can you pull up when friday night freestyle rappers have it really hard yeah that pull up when Friday Night Freestyle rappers have it really hard yeah that nigga can rap bro yes he can but listen to what he wants to do now so he gotta go kill somebody
Starting point is 01:45:12 nah by your metric yeah what year was that 2015 that's the last fad project I liked what's that
Starting point is 01:45:21 when he Friday Night Freestyle I didn't bring this I didn't bring this topic up for us to shit on Fab I'm not shitting on Fab he's still one of my favorite rappers
Starting point is 01:45:29 I brought it up just to let y'all know I still wanna fight DJ Booth you've sabotaged the verses against Jadakiss bro I had money on that I had shit talking
Starting point is 01:45:40 on the line you made me look crazy I like Booth I don't he know I don't like him you did that Fab told you yo play this record yo I like Booth. I don't. He know I don't like him. You did that. Fab told you, yo, play this record.
Starting point is 01:45:47 Yo, you ready for that? No, I don't want to play that. He's just talking about it as a person, man. Like, what the hell is that? Oh, my bad. I don't know you as a person. I don't like you as a person. I don't like you as a DJ.
Starting point is 01:45:57 I don't like you as Fab's DJ. You could be cool as a person. I don't know you. I don't want to know you. Hey, all the people Ice is getting his shit off on, I like a lot. I don't have no problems with nobody't want to know you. Hey, all the people Ice is getting his shit off on, I like a lot. I don't have no problems with nobody.
Starting point is 01:46:07 You got it. My bad. You know me. I got a one year old to get home to. I don't want no smoke with nobody. Then watch your hip hop opinions.
Starting point is 01:46:15 Watch what you say. Nah. You sabotaged. I don't have no more music shit to get to. I'm scared. You scared me off. I'm cool.
Starting point is 01:46:23 Whatever's dropping, Google it. Google it. Let me know what you think. Google it. Let me know your thoughts. I'm serious you scared me off I'm cool whatever's dropping google it google it let me know what you think google it let me know your thoughts leave it in the comments what else
Starting point is 01:46:31 alright come on we'll do it Hitman and Cassidy they did it they battled Ice you saw it right yeah what you got for us
Starting point is 01:46:39 I got Cassidy won really because you can't have a debatable against Cassidy can Cassidy beat Hitman like what are you? Because you can't have a debatable against Cassidy. Can Cassidy beat Hitman? Like, what are you talking about? You can't have a debate.
Starting point is 01:46:49 Cassidy's terrible as a battle rapper. You can't have a debatable against Cassidy. Ice is on a roll. You can't. In Ice's defense, Cassidy has not done well in battles thus far. So, and you're Hitman Holla, which means you should, it shouldn't even be a, it shouldn't be close. It shouldn't be a conversation at all. Can you say Cassidy's just not seasoned as a battle rapper?
Starting point is 01:47:12 No, I can say he's horrible. I can say he's terrible as a battle rapper. I love Cassidy. I think. But even when the battles are bad, I like it. Yeah, I'm not going to say he's terrible as a battle rapper. Unlike you fucking battle rap lovers. I'm just here as a casual fan.
Starting point is 01:47:28 When Cassidy does bad, when anyone does bad, I like it. It's really funny, yeah. Hey, when I did bad, it's funny. When I watch it back, when Cannabis did bad, it's funny. He brought the notebook. Yeah, come on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was entertaining.
Starting point is 01:47:42 Absolutely. I watched the first math and uh who's that he hit first uh what was his name no rome oh what was that gentleman's name i forgot his name i don't i'm not trying to be funny but when he was in the auditorium that one like serious that one all of the messes i like it okay that's it that don't mean i don't like it so cassidy sold the battle i love that he sold it. Absolutely. He did his job on that part.
Starting point is 01:48:08 But you got to stop walking around saying I'm 5,003 and 0, 5,004 and 0. That's my thing. You lost battles though. That's what sells the battle. That's what he's selling. I think you could sell whatever. We know the truth. The truth is you're not good.
Starting point is 01:48:22 Why would the truth ever matter when you're trying to sell something yeah that's why i like the down south rappers because they telling me the truth let's see and that you the problem with hip-hop then it's the labels that's pushing them not me i'm just a fan consuming it you know them niggas is independently giving it i'm just consuming it's too core I watched this battle I cut it off why'd you cut it off Joe? because they both was bad that's my point
Starting point is 01:48:50 this is Hitman Holla a battle rap legend you don't beat bad in a battle you can tell Hitman wasn't trying to write no fire for Cassidy so that's why you lost
Starting point is 01:48:59 you mailed it in and you lost but so okay they both walked away with a bag so I'm not everyone won? it in and you lost. But so? Okay. They both walked away with a bag. Everyone won? Where is the loss?
Starting point is 01:49:11 RBE won. Cassidy won. Hitman won because he lost. Did the fans win? No. No. The fans lost. If Hitman lost, I'm not saying that he did because who cares? But if he lost, I don't know if the did cause I just who cares but if he lost I don't know if the
Starting point is 01:49:27 bad rappers count the losses that ain't on Smack I think they just I wanna say you got a point they not count these shits as losses
Starting point is 01:49:36 this is an extra bag this is some sneaker money niggas don't care this ain't my real job is Smack no R.B. has had some good ones I love
Starting point is 01:49:43 yeah but I get what Joe said the Smack headline top tier My real job is smack. No, R.B. has had some good ones. I love it. Yeah, they have. But I get what Joe said. The smack, headline, top tier, 10 million views. That's WrestleMania. That's WWE. For sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:54 And don't ever show me nothing. I hope they don't do a rematch. No, you can't rematch. You can't rematch this. I'm good. No, you could. No, you can't. Nobody's going to want to see that.
Starting point is 01:50:02 What battle rap needs to do, though, they need to put somebody to really smoke him so that we can get this conversation out. Right after that Wilder fight when he lost to Homeboy, the big goofy white boy, they was talking about rematch, and I was like, yo, dawgs. Relax. Who is it?
Starting point is 01:50:17 Sometimes we don't ask for coming to America, too. Coming to America, too. Who asked for it? Hey, niggas ain't seen Eddie since he stole that money. Where is he? He ain't even give an Instagram thank you. He got Arsenio. I did still just answering
Starting point is 01:50:33 Charlamagne. Damn, you got a point. I didn't think of that, yo. He did nothing. No press. I'm out. Oh, he did something. Hey, he went to the Swiss account made a few deposits hey whatever that big
Starting point is 01:50:49 Jeffrey Epstein shit was in Eddie Murphy took at least 90 mil and sat it in there and then three months later they got the nerve to put out this stat yesterday this is the most streamed Amazon something something nigga that was months ago if you just now putting that out the nerd to put out this stat yesterday. This is the most streamed Amazon something something.
Starting point is 01:51:06 Nigga, that was months ago. If you just now putting that out. They love stats. But it's a lie. Analytics. Oh, let me shut up. Analytics, man. We'll never get on the Amazon deal now. You know me.
Starting point is 01:51:15 I say all numbers are fake. Oh, the host left. Who cares? Fuck a deal. Suck my dick, everybody. No, no, no, no. What was that? You lose your back.
Starting point is 01:51:26 I'm joking. I'm joking, by the way. I'm joking,'m joking by the way I'm joking by the way thank you what else we got man what else we got I'm tossing it to you nigga hey whatever's next
Starting point is 01:51:36 ice hit it I don't know nothing about this alright man love everyone yes love everyone so apparently YGs I don't know nothing about this. All right, man. Love everyone. Yes. Yes. Love everyone. So apparently YG's.
Starting point is 01:51:49 Apparently. That's what you know, man. I said apparently, man. I don't fucking know. Tap dance. Yeah, you know what time it is. Hey, man. Apparently, allegedly, coincidentally.
Starting point is 01:51:58 It just so happens. Metaphorically. YG's Meet the Flockers song was first taken off of streaming because there was a line in there that they said was anti-Asian. Okay. The line was, first you find a house and scope it out. Find a Chinese neighborhood because they don't believe in bank accounts. And the song is about breaking in people's houses, robbing them, whatever. So that line caused them to remove the song,
Starting point is 01:52:27 I mean, remove the album. Remove the song and then the album. I was seeing people say the entire album was taken off of Apple Music. Yo, listen, I'm trying to report on what happened, bro. This is serious shit. I know, but unfortunately, I just hear my brain while you talking.
Starting point is 01:52:44 I just keep thinking things it's all I hear man shut the fuck up mind your fucking business how about that yeah the line is in a song the niggas that the song is for understand what this line means
Starting point is 01:53:00 he don't hate nobody mind your fucking business everything don't have to be sensitive you fucking pansies it's YG nah not just that it's a double standard like
Starting point is 01:53:13 with a magazine take the same take we talk about robbing black people and killing black people every fucking day and I don't see a word and they push that yeah
Starting point is 01:53:20 they love it they push that they love it Rolling Stone you get the cover you get all the magazines you say something about robbing Asian houses now all of a sudden you anti-Asian? Well, here's the thing, though.
Starting point is 01:53:29 That don't mean that you anti-Asian. That's bullshit. No, I mean, I see Sweet Vic. Let me rob him. Rappers don't get the respect of actually being looked at as writers before anything else. You're a writer. So if you go write a script for a movie, you can add anything to it, and people will say, well, you're just adding that for context to the movie for what it means.
Starting point is 01:53:46 But when this person makes a song trying to get something off, a thought off, it's not respected in the same light. Even when you say that, I've watched too many docs that tell me that the history of Hollywood is rooted in mob ties. So when you tell me that they allow certain things in movies, that's where my brain goes. Hip hop, I'm angry at this bullshit because that's our space that we made that y'all said wouldn't last. It wasn't for your policing.
Starting point is 01:54:20 That's right. It wasn't for y'all to come and scrutinize everything. Y'all didn't understand nothing about this from inception when it was two turntables and a mic in a fucking park y'all didn't get it that is so why the fuck would i expect y'all to get it some odd however many years have an old hip-hop is later or why you feel entitled to even comment on what is being said in a rap song like get the fuck out fuck out. My problem with this shit here, bro,
Starting point is 01:54:46 even with the Italian analogy, my bad. No, no, no. And they wouldn't let him say fuck Donald Trump. My issue with this, though, this record came out in 2014. Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:54:57 All right? 2014. Now we got to go delete. We got to delete old lyrics. That's why we delete old tweets now. But it's easy. Yeah, but that's the same shit. Rap, hip-hop has always been an easy target.
Starting point is 01:55:07 It's always the one that you go to to blame everything on, but you never take a look back at your own shit. But targeted by who? That's the question. Them. Them. Them.
Starting point is 01:55:18 None of us is listening to this and saying, At all. Ooh. Yo, Asian people are in danger because YG said this in the song he might really have it out for that's the crazy shit he might hate asian people you know what's funny about this i didn't hear nothing about asian nothing in the bar i didn't this feels like someone trying to keep a narrative going that's exactly what it is no but why is that narrative I can't even see what it is more more
Starting point is 01:55:45 delicate than no it's not if he said I broke into the Nigerian niggas houses wouldn't nobody say shit and what is he saying wrong listen when we used to do B&E's
Starting point is 01:55:55 we ain't do it in our fucking neighborhood where anybody was broke indeed we went to the suburbs we went to the white people's houses indeed you wanted to get some money there were things there to get bruh it's to the white people's houses. Indeed. You wanted to get some money.
Starting point is 01:56:07 It's not an insult. It's not a slight. It's not hate. It's not. I hate hip hop. I hated it the other day. Yeah, now this shit is annoying. This is where we are now.
Starting point is 01:56:16 But Jay-Z said, yo, Scarface the actor did more than Scarface the rapper to me. He said it. Like, yo, you can watch movies with motherfuckers sniffing coke. Anybody. I don't give a fuck who's lish you look at. Everything is a movement now. The Godfather is on
Starting point is 01:56:28 everybody's top five in the movie business. Yeah, but Ish, everything is a movement. Everything. No, I'm just saying. So now people just want to be a part of the next movement.
Starting point is 01:56:38 What's the next thing that we can politicize? What's the next thing that we can make a headline? It's hypocritical and it sucks. And it sucks because there are people who actually go through things like this and it sucks because there are people who actually go through
Starting point is 01:56:45 you know things like this and it never gets the real attention you niggas is clout chasing yeah that's what it feels like some of this is a little clout chasing you want to be a part of something that's exactly what it is
Starting point is 01:56:53 that's what cancel culture is it's clout chasing you can make you can make your point and not mention YG absolutely but because of what happened last month
Starting point is 01:57:04 the mass shooting now they go dig back mention YG. Absolutely. But because of what happened last month, the mass shooting, now they go dig back in anyone who said anything that could be taken in a negative light towards the Asians. Great, let's do it for Blacks today.
Starting point is 01:57:15 I agree. Let's go back. Yeah, that's my point. That's my point. Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me be clear because this is a large platform. A lot of people listen.
Starting point is 01:57:23 Joe loves everybody. Just for the people that think something i'm saying is hateful no there's no shame that you have to preface things that way but yeah let's go back however many years and edit everything and take out the racist shit or the shit that offended black people yeah because i got a long list and good fellas when the trucks got stolen and they were stealing all the fucking tractor trailers, they ran in the fucking bar and said, yo, call the cops. Two niggas just stole my truck.
Starting point is 01:57:50 I want to start at Disney. Y'all want to talk about the most dignified place in the world right now where they have super standard. I can go back from the start of Disney and point you out things that they should always be canceled for. So we're going to go dig that deep. Like you have to stop playing games. Dig deep, my ass. I'm still waiting to see what's going on with Patty Duke. Where the fuck is he at still?
Starting point is 01:58:15 I just saw that two months ago. It was outrage for a week. Silence after that. Man, now get the fuck off with this. I don't be with that shit. Love to all my Asian people. Y'all know I was playing Street Fighter. The Asian.
Starting point is 01:58:27 Yo, see, see. You can't see. You get canceled for that. Yeah, you get canceled for that. See, I'm telling y'all where Joe in Jersey City met Asian friends. All right. It was in Blimpy and at Hudson Mall. And we were at the arcade. They were nice.
Starting point is 01:58:42 I was nice. That's not an insult or slight. It's not racist. It's not, what do you want me to say? That was Joe's experience. No, you can't cancel me for where I met my Asian friends. When I went to the basketball court at 6 in the morning before the black niggas woke up,
Starting point is 01:58:58 the Asians was out there. Cast like this. Yo, speaking of Asians though, have y'all ever battled an Asian on Dance Dance Revolution? Never. I never will.
Starting point is 01:59:10 I don't want that smoke. I don't even know what that is. They're different. Bam. Don't do that. I don't even know what Dance Dance Revolution is.
Starting point is 01:59:16 Well, don't play it. Yeah, don't play that. You can't play that because you too clumsy to play that. I wouldn't be playing anything called Dance Dance Revolution. DDR was the shit though.
Starting point is 01:59:23 Does something about me look like I got time to play Dance Dance Revolution? Yes. DDR was the shit, though. Does something about me look like I got time to play dance, dance revolution? DDR was the shit, bro. You did the train. My son is shaking his head yes. What the fuck is DDR? I didn't do the train. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 01:59:34 Chew my back. I took her in the bathroom and masturbated. My back. And went to McDonald's. Fucking train. And went to get nuggets. And left ish in her. That's kind of swaggy when you repeat it back.
Starting point is 01:59:46 Did you at least pop? Wait, where's my phone? No, he said he didn't. It's trash. He said he ain't pop because he was the star of the show. No, Issh didn't pop because he don't hypnotize her
Starting point is 01:59:57 with his eyes. It's over? Is that like homie with the massage? I don't want to say his name because I don't want to blow his mind. Joe? Okay, he said said it You mean Joe
Starting point is 02:00:07 I thought you meant Joe Joe is not Still You are the I'm not a masseuse That thumb I'm not a masseuse That's not my game

Starting point is 02:00:23 The shoulder It's the thigh ratio. The shoulder. It's the thigh and the shoulder, bro. It's both of them. Fam, that thumb start moving, it just lights out. No.
Starting point is 02:00:31 Like lighting. He lighting a match. He know me right. I'm just listening to what y'all think two million people want to hear about. Hey, maybe they do
Starting point is 02:00:41 want to hear about my thumbs. I don't know. Yeah. No, just the one thumb. Anyway. All right. Yeah, just the one thumb. Anyway. All right. Yeah, yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 02:00:49 No, let's stay here. Hold up. Hold up. Story time. I got a story. Here we go. I got a story since y'all want to talk about my hands and how they get moving and all that shit.

Starting point is 02:01:21 Leaving Monday. Yo, go ahead, I'm listening. I'm telling a story. Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. It's Prime nigga. Leaving Monday. Yo, go ahead. I'm listening. I'm telling a story. Parv, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. It's voice control. Leaving Monday. Getting in Saturday. Leaving Sunday.
Starting point is 02:01:31 Some of y'all were here with me. We had a long day Friday, man. Boy, was I exhausted. I was drained. I got home. Corey came inside. Friday night, and him and I spoke for about 45 minutes. Maybe an hour
Starting point is 02:01:45 even catching up together what finish your story without the drama go ahead man we don't care that you talk to Corey for 45 minutes well maybe an hour it's important it's important in my story he stayed for
Starting point is 02:02:03 an hour it's a long time to talk. We was all tired. Remember? We was all exhausted. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But we talked for an hour, and I went upstairs, and he left. Okay. And I didn't walk back downstairs to lock that door.
Starting point is 02:02:18 Oh, don't tell. Oh, man. So the door was open. Right? You woke up to make your breakfast? This is her make it let me this is why this is funny this is why this is funny and i'm gonna get in trouble but i'm gonna just say it anyway do you know some of the things that as a man you think of doing the night before a chick comes in like your girl comes in the night before your girl flies in
Starting point is 02:02:46 just think about where you might be mentally okay there was a time in life where I would have used that opportunity to fuck the bitch that lives up the street there was a time in my life where I would use that small window
Starting point is 02:03:04 to think I could maybe the girl that I got caught cheating with that you don't even know I speak to still tonight might be the night to get that like you I think my brain thinks the wildest shit let me run to the strip club beat off in front of nine chicks hey like this is wild I'm telling you where my brain is the day before that's wild by the way no that's not, by the way. No, that's not wild. Well, for me. That makes sense. That's not wild.
Starting point is 02:03:27 That's not wild. It's not wild. Let me run to the strip club and beat off. Let me get all my bullshit off. Out the way. So that when she get here, I can give her all of my attention. But that's some wild bullshit to want to get off, though. Like, you got bullshit. And that's different bullshit.
Starting point is 02:03:40 That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit.
Starting point is 02:03:40 That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. That's bullshit. You want me to tell you how many nights we've been in Jersey Girls and me and somebody else went to the back to fucking beat off?
Starting point is 02:03:49 Not together. Because that sounds away. I'm just saying. Why you act like you haven't been in those instances where that happens? I hate these two niggas. Listen.
Starting point is 02:03:59 No, that's... Joe, we all know Joe. We've been around this nigga long enough. Talk to him. I can watch him and see when he about to get in his beat-off bag. Pause. Wait.
Starting point is 02:04:09 You just. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I thought that was going somewhere else. Let me explain this. Let me explain this. Let me explain this. We're going there with it. No.
Starting point is 02:04:17 Joe has signature things that he does when he's letting you know, I'm about to dip off and getting some bullshit. Yeah, like tap you and say, yo, dog, I'm about to dip off. That's one thing. He won't let you know he's going to do some bullshit, though. He'll let you know, I'm about to dip off and get in some bullshit. Yeah, like tap you and say, yo, dog, I'm about to dip off. He won't let you know he got in some bullshit, though. He'll let you know. Fam, no. Don't let you know. So your girl's coming in 10.
Starting point is 02:04:32 I'm about to get out of here. Right? Your girl's coming in 10. You definitely want to get your cheating out the night before. Really? 100%. You 40 years old. Well, that's why.
Starting point is 02:04:42 And black. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm not even talking about from that mental perspective. I'm talking about physically. Nigga, you 40. I ain't trying to do all that fucking. Yeah, once you bust that one nut on Friday night. I'm good.
Starting point is 02:04:54 It's like Wednesday, fam. Saturday. I'm good to Wednesday. I get that one on Friday night. For me. What is she talking about? For me. I'm glad that that's how
Starting point is 02:05:05 your little limp dick operates but speaking for myself I'm sexed out bro nah that's not no that's not you know what it's like
Starting point is 02:05:15 okay it's like I'm gonna remember this it's like when your chick is coming and before she get there or any girl is coming before she get there you beat your dick
Starting point is 02:05:21 get it out the way so now round one is really round two yeah it's kind of the same thinking nah when i was 28 that was my way of thinking every time you talk this podcast sounds like a 70s podcast yo yo you here now this is so mature i ain't gonna lie this shit about this is so mature now arp at this point. Wait. So listen. But I'm not doing any of that. I'm in the bed.
Starting point is 02:05:46 I'm tired. 10 minutes after Corey leave. Ding dong. Not the bell. The thing that says the door is open. And I ain't expecting company. Man, I ran to get a gun so fast. Wait.
Starting point is 02:06:01 The alleged gun. The alleged gun. It wasn't a real gun. That's how you know I'm so trash gun that wasn't a real gun no listen that's how you know I'm so trash there wasn't a bullet in it I was gonna throw that shit
Starting point is 02:06:12 so hard get out oh shit damn oh wait I grabbed my empty gun and I went to the top I went to the top of the steps
Starting point is 02:06:24 let me tell you I sick my brain I go to the top of the steps. Let me tell you, I sink my brain. I go to the top of the steps. Silent. You can hear some footsteps. It's nothing there. I say, You don't get that. You're back.
Starting point is 02:06:39 You know it ain't your man. It was no ear. You're back. Oh, nah. I cocked the empty bird. I cocked that shit out of the bag. Did I say it? And this is where, you know, my brain is sinking.
Starting point is 02:06:57 The hip hop has jaded me and it's fucked up out here. And all the shit we talk about with the rappers and they real niggas and they guns. My second, I say, yeah, she didn't say nothing. I said, who that? She said me. Me not good enough. Me don't tell me a fucking thing. Me not going to work, man.
Starting point is 02:07:13 Who the fuck? And why is it a girl voice? I'm thinking, this sounds like a lineup. Right. When I just woke up to. Right. My man just left. I'm tired.
Starting point is 02:07:24 I hear the door open. Nobody wants to be here. This sounds like a Right. My man just left. I'm tired. I hear the door open. That's nobody. That's Alana. That's Alana. That's Alana. That's Alana. That's Alana. This sounds like Alana.
Starting point is 02:07:28 That's Alana. And a girl saying me, not even my name, with no footsteps though. So that means they're trying to get you to come to the door. It just looked real funny.
Starting point is 02:07:38 That's all I'm saying. That was the point of my story. Long story less long. It was her. I was... Oh my God, baby. Nah, that's what you... Nah, see, that's what you gotta... You almost got shot. long story less long it was her I was oh my god baby nah that's what nah see that's what
Starting point is 02:07:47 you gotta you almost got shot so you gotta like really well wait I did say yo you bugging the fuck out like that could've almost went bad
Starting point is 02:07:55 she told me to explain my thinking right you can't tell that to me the me part nah you gotta let them know I'm not the one the me part is where she was off yeah
Starting point is 02:08:01 cause me she said me to me that confirmed a lineup. Me don't say who you are. That could be a girl voice with niggas running up. Or you're saying me as you running up. That's how paranoid I am. She laughed at that.
Starting point is 02:08:16 I'm saying, yo, fam, I've had a gun to my head with the trigger pulled. And a nigga said, I'm just playing. And pulled off. No. That's not funny to me. I don't play them games. She didn't understand at all. Yeah, she didn't get that. But thank God black men don't cheat is the moral of the story.
Starting point is 02:08:35 Indeed. Thank God black men don't cheat. Round of applause for black men not cheating. Thank God you ain't had nobody in the house. Because black men don't cheat. Well, black men don't cheat. Who's going to be in the house But Corey
Starting point is 02:08:45 There you go That's it Yo My thing is You aren't mad at that No Oh Okay
Starting point is 02:08:53 I'm kinda with Ish a little bit Tell me more She was supposed to come on Saturday Right She shows up a day early on purpose Like you popped up early I don't like the early pop What if she went to surprise him She was supposed to come on Saturday. Right. She shows up a day early on purpose. Like you popped up early? I don't like the early pop-up. What if she went to surprise him?
Starting point is 02:09:09 Don't surprise me, though. But why not, though? Because you get shot with the fake gun. But if he ain't doing the real gun. She ain't even about the bullshit. I don't know. I don't expect you here. You can't even just go out the store.
Starting point is 02:09:21 Yeah, but he's trying to run up for me. Yeah, you playing a game. Right, you might have been trying. She might have thought you was thinking. But she might have been thinking on the positive side. I'm just about to pop up and surprise my man. But wait, Tom, let me reply to Ish. Let's get into this for a minute.
Starting point is 02:09:35 I've been caught cheating before. You don't say. So if I'm with someone that feels that they would get security and popping up unexpectedly and seeing no one there, I could understand the part that I played in that train of thought. That's one. Two, it was someone that I was very eager and happy to see. Yeah, but three, I'm tired as shit. I get a soft, beautiful woman now. Yeah my yeah i was into that i wasn't angry yeah but you just said now that's now had i been doing some fuck shit i'd have been angry
Starting point is 02:10:13 bitch why you here you wasn't supposed to be i was trying to protect you from my fuck shit but that's maturation joe that's the joe that the public don't know exists because i can never fight any of the narratives that come out about me I'm such a great guy you can't say that you're a great guy I never yeah like you created the narrative
Starting point is 02:10:31 say it if you're great someone else has to say it for you though say it you're a great guy cool you alright it's fine
Starting point is 02:10:38 it don't matter what else we got oh come on yo all the things I don't understand what's up with these topics Young Miami and Meg Thee Stallion are tweet flirting with each other. And that's news.
Starting point is 02:10:51 I miss the gray area in hip hop where there was a gray area to discuss things. Now it's either fake rollout shit or death. There's no in between. What the fuck do y'all want me to do with this? Tell y'all what's happening? Y'all want me to tell the audience that Meg the Stallion is tweeting hey I was too shy to tell
Starting point is 02:11:14 her in person. Let's pull the ish move. I was too shy to tell her in person but young Miami I want a date. Is this in the news cycle for real? I agree. I'm about to say that is definitely an issue I'm not disagreeing I'm just tired of fake gay
Starting point is 02:11:27 honestly you're tired of fake gay you don't know that she's fake gay and she has a man see that's where I would get mad if I'm your nigga how you out here doing this like women get that off
Starting point is 02:11:41 like all the time that's the double standard they can do anything like I can't say it because then we're going to sound like an old podcast from the the time. That's the double standard. They can do anything. Like, I can't say it, because then we're going to sound like an old podcast from the 70s again. But, boy, that double standard irks me.
Starting point is 02:11:52 Which one? About women being able to flirt while having a dude? Yeah. Oh, got you. Why I can't do it? Why I can't have a girl in fake flirt with somebody? Because it's not fake when you do it. Why not? There you go. Why I can't have a girl on fake flirt with somebody? Because it's not fake when you do it. Why not?
Starting point is 02:12:06 There you go. Why not fake? You know how many chicks? I flirted with women who I didn't even find attractive. Of course. Oh, I do the same thing. Sometimes it's just fun.
Starting point is 02:12:15 I'm talking about when you have a history. No, no, no, no. But you don't do it like Virgos do it. Don't just put yourself in Virgo class. I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 02:12:22 We do that. You got to relax. Oh, that's your thing? Yeah, relax. Hopefully, so you don't have to go through that. But go ahead. We do that. You got to relax. Oh, that's y'all thing? Yeah, relax. Hopefully, so you don't have to go through that. But go ahead. I sport for it.
Starting point is 02:12:28 You got the thumbs up? Same. Nah, I ain't got no thumbs up. I say it all the time. I sport for it. What do y'all think of this bullshit? It's another rollout.
Starting point is 02:12:36 I'm tired of seeing it. It's the same shit. Yo, when y'all say rollout, what does that mean? There's something coming. It's a market jackpot. It's a market jackpot. This is to build you up.
Starting point is 02:12:44 You really just made us seem old. This nigga's old. Yeah, for real. It just hit me the fuck up. It really just hit me when he said, what do you mean by rollout? Okay, Ish, let me explain to you rollout. I have a project or a product, something that I want to give to the public. So you do some shit.
Starting point is 02:13:01 I have to create. What they told you to do if a fire break out in your house nigga no no listen but the key to these rollouts are you have to do it to where it looks like you're not trying to roll it out it's supposed to look fake natural but they all they all bad at it it looks really bad the key to this shit is do something that everybody's going to retweet and talk about. I laugh because I see this shit happen April 5th at 1226 a.m. and only got 4,500 retweets. So that means nobody gave a fuck. Look, niggas, that's funny.
Starting point is 02:13:35 See, I would have rolled with this rollout. If someone would have posted a fake picture of them making out or something. Something where it was tangible, like, oh like oh wait this might be something people can believe but just a tweet it's like well this is the new rollout the tweet I don't care
Starting point is 02:13:49 I don't care about this if they fuck I wouldn't care if they like each other I don't care I'm mad that they tweeted it so we have to care I'm mad that I have to say it
Starting point is 02:13:57 like I don't care let people like what they like you like them cool you got a song together coming cool cool everything everything
Starting point is 02:14:03 everybody wants to do is cool. Like, that's the point in life that I'm at. Yeah, because if you say anything opposite, you're a hater. It's cool. Because, I mean,
Starting point is 02:14:12 it don't have to apply to me is all. They don't have to, what you want to do don't have to affect me or alter anything in my life. That's true, yeah. So, I mean, go ahead.
Starting point is 02:14:19 Have a blast. Yeah. Parks, what do you think about Meg Thee Stallion and Young Miami? I don't give a fuck that sounded good Parks put some T-Pain on that
Starting point is 02:14:31 yeah put some T-Pain on that you good I'm with him yeah I'm with that I'm with you Parks yeah sorry nobody cares
Starting point is 02:14:37 we all are in agreeance here nobody we just had to talk about nobody cares period yeah but that's why they do it y'all ain't even see y'all ain't even catch that's why they do it. Y'all ain't need to see. Y'all ain't need to catch that little entendre right there. Y'all missed it.
Starting point is 02:14:48 Go ahead. City girls say period. I put the period on there. Go ahead. Ice, we don't know what the city girls say. Y'all not hip. Y'all not hip. Y'all old niggas. Alright, come on. USPS may take legal action over Nike's USPS
Starting point is 02:15:04 Air Force Ones. Sounds like a reasonable outcome. Now, Nike could soon find itself in legal trouble. Hot water with the United States Postal Office. Those shoes are ugly as hell. What is those? Air Force Ones. I like them.
Starting point is 02:15:19 They look like uncooked pizza, though. Listen, I'm not reading this shit from Complex. Nike put a sneaker out. They stole everything from USPS. Looks like a postal sneaker. It's the ugliest sneaker we've ever seen. Comes in a postal box.
Starting point is 02:15:33 Comes in a postal box. I ain't even peaked a box. That's great marketing. That's all this shit is. Yeah, but that's why I like it. It's great marketing if you change the words that is really from my company.
Starting point is 02:15:45 You can't really take my company words and put it on your product and say great marketing. Yeah, it is great marketing. Bitch, I've been building my company. I've been building my company for 100 years. Yes. Yeah. Which is funny that they're going through all of that with them suing Lil Nas X. Don't say Lil Man.
Starting point is 02:16:09 Put some spec on his name. Yeah, don't do that. Put some spec on his name. Isn't his record number one or some shit? Yeah, probably. Yeah, number one. His record? Another one.
Starting point is 02:16:17 It's his second one. Say something. Say something. It's number one. Say something. You ain't got no butt lift, nigga. You right. Come on, man.
Starting point is 02:16:24 You right. Relax. He got no butt lift, nigga. You right. Come on, man. You right. Relax. He got a butt lift. Yo, in an era where you control your way to number one. And that's my man, too, but. I support anybody who's doing some dope shit and getting the money, but I'm not rocking with that. I'm sorry. You're not rocking with what?
Starting point is 02:16:42 We live in an era where. Him gimmicking his way to number one? Yeah. We live in an era where- Him gimmicking his way to number one? Yeah. We live in an era where you can gimmick yourself enough. Well, you old niggas hate on everything, man. Where have I been in the last two years? You think you old niggas are so soft on this? I'll take it.
Starting point is 02:16:55 I'll take it. I'll take it. Niggas been gimmicking their way up the charts forever. Y'all so nasty. What are y'all talking about? Listen, when I have a conversation with my 11-year-old son, and he says to me, Dad, the song was okay, but that was just too much. It's like, my son at 11 years old can see that that shit was just too much.
Starting point is 02:17:14 The point of it was for everybody to see it. That's all. But he's actually targeting those people. Is he? He's not targeting us. He's not targeting, no. See, that's where people make the mistake at.
Starting point is 02:17:26 Because Old Town Road was so popular amongst the kids, they think that he's targeting kids. No, he's not. That record was not for kids. And he said it. He told Walker, hey, you let your kid listen to it.
Starting point is 02:17:37 I'm talking about drugs and adultery and all types of shit in this song. That sounds cool. That does sound cool. But no one hearing that song thinks adultery, drugs, anything. First off, most of these kids ain't listen to lyrics.
Starting point is 02:17:48 What the hell you think is happening on Old Town Road? I don't know. Old Town Things? I don't know. What was the Old Town Life? Make the Old Town great again. The only part of Old Town Road that I know is the hook. And it doesn't say anything crazy to me.
Starting point is 02:18:04 This little nigga's beautiful. He's gorgeous. Joe's just in love with his butt lift, whatever the fuck you call it. Is Joe in love with somebody's butt lift? Look at the things y'all say. You keep mentioning it. Because he got one. I said Drake got his stomach sculpted. Everybody kick me out of
Starting point is 02:18:19 hip hop. I was just saying a fact. But you keep saying it about him. He got a BBS. A bunch of other niggas went and got their little stomach hip-hop. I was just saying a fact. But you keep saying it about him. And that, hey, he did it in there. A bunch of other niggas went and got their little stomach sculpted. It's a bunch of y'all getting tummy tucks out there. Some of you niggas out there, your belly button is stretched out.
Starting point is 02:18:34 Nigga, I see it. The fuck is going on? You think niggas don't see it? The fuck? One of them niggas used it to roll out. You wasn't just in Columbia chilling, nigga. You was looking at the nigga's belly button. These niggas got lipo marks on them. What do you want me to say?
Starting point is 02:18:57 Joe is gay. Say whatever you want. This is a fact what I'm saying. There's a lot of men doing that. Men out here have lipo marks that you can see through the tattoo. It ain't the one the greatest tattoo
Starting point is 02:19:07 in the first place. The man's new hairline is the woman's BBL. Oh wait I'm on that for sure. There's a lot of there's a lot.
Starting point is 02:19:14 Alright alright enough of this enough of this. What's with y'all talking about? Enough of this it's about to turn into a Rogaine

Damn, we old as fuck.
Starting point is 02:20:07 The young people hate subtitles. Would you guys shut up? I watch everything with subtitles now, too. Y'all are absolutely right. But my problem is when I look up away from the subtitles, it really bothers me when the mouth and the words, when it's off. That's a throw off.
Starting point is 02:20:22 Oh, when it's dubbed. It's dubbed in another language. That's why I couldn't do Money Heist. Well, go ahead. Now, see it's dubbed in another language that's why I couldn't do Money Heist well go ahead now see like Money Heist I love I couldn't do it yeah but those voice overs
Starting point is 02:20:31 were great they match every character but I watched the cause you can change the language on Netflix so I'll put it in the language and put the subtitles right
Starting point is 02:20:38 that's what I did but then they start sounding all stupid it don't go with the storyline I forgot what the German shit was that shit was fire Money Heist was amazing. Anyway, I watched something called The Serpent
Starting point is 02:20:47 about a man who, this is great, whatever it was, it's an eight episode series about a guy who was kidnapping, robbing, and killing the travelers. You know, like in the beginning of what movie was that? Taken? Taken. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:21:04 Okay. This guy was abducting people, drugging them, killing them, and robbing them over the span of like maybe 30, 40 years, and nobody knew. This is inspired by a true story. Inspired by a true story. What country was it? The names are different.
Starting point is 02:21:20 I don't fucking know. No? Okay. Oh, well, you'll never know because he traveled the whole world, which is part of why the cops couldn't catch him. Oh, so he was moving doing this. He wasn't in one location. He traveled the whole world.
Starting point is 02:21:30 He might have started in Australia, got hot over there. He ran to France, got hot over there. And I don't want to give the whole shit away, but the end kind of fucked me up. He kind of G-depped himself. I'll give it away. Spoiler alert. There you go. Hey, well, listen,
Starting point is 02:21:49 a lot of listeners may not even know what that means. I'm going to watch this shit, though. But yeah, this was pretty cool. I watched this. I feel like I watched something else that was kind of good recently, too, but I don't remember right now. I got killed for saying
Starting point is 02:22:00 King Kong versus Godzilla was trash on Twitter for the past 72 hours. It was trash. Why was it trash? I saw everybody say that, though. Why was it trash? They fought for probably 15 minutes and the rest of the middle part
Starting point is 02:22:11 was terrible. The first fight scene was trash and then the next fight scene you had to get to was damned in the movies by... It was. It was the last 15 minutes of the movie. Yeah, it was done.
Starting point is 02:22:24 Freddie and Jason only fought for 15 minutes. What did you expect? Batman and Superman fought for like 10 minutes. But Freddie and Jason had some other interesting action scenes even throughout the movie before we got to them.
Starting point is 02:22:39 And the story was at least entertaining enough to get holy down. It was still true to them because when you saw a Freddie scene, it was true to Freddy's original thing. This was like, what am I watching this for? I don't like how they dumbed down King Kong. They humanized him a little too much for me. Other than that, I wasn't mad at the movie. They said King Kong ain't have no hands.
Starting point is 02:23:01 Oh, no, he got his ass whooped. Now he got his ass whooped. Why would I watch a movie where King Kong don't have hands? Yeah, up until that last moment. I mean, he could have hands. He wasn't going to work against Godzilla anyway. I'm never watching this.
Starting point is 02:23:10 Why? Nigga, this is a radioactive fucking super monster. Even the director went and said we had to nerf Godzilla pretty much because it was too much for Kong to handle. Well, that's bullshit.
Starting point is 02:23:22 You know how many niggas I watched in Incredible Hulk beat up that he shouldn't have been able to beat up that he should've been able to beat up just because he was strong? And then what happened when he got to a nigga
Starting point is 02:23:28 that can actually fight that had more power than him? He got his ass whooped by Thanos and you never seen him again. It was Thanos, though. Yeah, what are you talking about? Never mind, never mind, never mind.
Starting point is 02:23:37 Yo, yo, yo. Yo, just forget it. It's just... Yeah, yeah, he did. Yo, Ish, this shit is like 45 to 60 demographic. I'm saying it was Thanos like it
Starting point is 02:23:47 anyway Ish I don't go get some Supreme clothing what did Trey
Starting point is 02:23:56 how can this nigga go get hit man do something to get shaped dye the grays I'm chilling
Starting point is 02:24:02 you like the grays right they like the grays yo this you don't like the grays, right? They like the grays. Yo, this song. You don't like the grays? Yo, let's end this, man. We got it. We got it.
Starting point is 02:24:12 We got it. Should we air it? Yeah, no, no. I got some shit y'all might have slept on, yo. Shit crazy. Let's hear something stupid. So now, don't ask me where I bump into some of the versions of these songs that I bump into them. But today, I don't know how the kids are getting it off.
Starting point is 02:24:29 They'll redo your song and put it on iTunes. They'll sell their version of your shit. So as I'm looking for one thing, sometimes I just find interesting versions of something else. And I found one that was so weird that i like it so i'm gonna play it and this could be horrible i'm prepping let me let me get this straight this could be a really really really bad version of one of my favorite songs but i like it, so I'm playing it. I don't know who it is. It says this guy's name is Playboy.
Starting point is 02:25:13 I just like when you put an interesting twist on things. Fuck it, get out of your bag then. I like this shit, I don't give a fuck what your niggas are, but I like where it's at. Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Well I guess it's looking like you were stuck with me Cause I got you smooth like in the springtime Fuck all your free time You don't need no me time That's you and me You made me getting so hot That pussy made my soul smell And this dick make you so damn proud
Starting point is 02:25:56 Now lay your head down on my pillow And touch my body real slow Baby you're on the screen my name I put the light and let your feels go Now we're getting real close I ain't judging his vocal ability I know you hate it, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm okay. I ain't judging his vocal ability. He's doing so good. Alright, I'm good. I just like what he did to the hook.
Starting point is 02:26:20 Good, keep going. I don't expect people to sound good in all these type of records. I'm just joking. It's just all the two of them. Go ahead. He going crazy. I don't care what y'all saying. No, no, no.
Starting point is 02:26:41 No, no, no. They're making for a Woody and a Hulk. Wait, wait. Y'all don't hear him. I don't expect niggas to be like vocally like at the top of the chain. Like just be able to hold the note and get the emotion off. I'm saying that first verse, he sounded like he could carry the note too. Yeah, he can carry the note. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:26:56 But I mean. But then the attitude started. Listen. He didn't put it in chromatic. He got it. I won't let you down. Down. Let me get this hook off. So don't be surprised when you scream poppy And don't be surprised when I say open wide I hypnotize you with this woody
Starting point is 02:27:15 And now you feel like you can fly Yo, y'all not here I hypnotize you with this woody, and now you feel like you can fly. I just forgot it's springtime. Forgot your free time. You don't need no free time. Message you in the evening. You're getting so out of this, but it made my soul smell.
Starting point is 02:27:40 The music make you so damn proud. Now lay your head down on my pillow And touch my body real slow Baby, gonna scream my name Now close your eyes and let your fears grow Now we gettin' real close Baby girl, I'm on my way So now that I got you right here I won't let you down
Starting point is 02:28:07 So don't be surprised when you spring poppy And don't be surprised when I say boom Alright listen, think what you want I'm beating something down to this cool fight It's happening I'll let you down So don't be surprised when you spring poppy happening the song is fine yo they gotta stop that narrative too
Starting point is 02:28:31 like niggas back in the day just couldn't sing music there was a lot of people from back in the days that wanted to have some amazing records
Starting point is 02:28:39 but hopefully they weren't all that yeah like so that whole thing where everyone now has to be like amazing yeah no that's true. So that whole thing where everyone now has to be amazing. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 02:28:46 There's mad singers that could keep a note, really. As long as you can hold the note and get the point across of the record, that's all that matters. Shout out to Playboy. Shout out to Parks and Amani for talking over my favorite part of the song. I really love when that happens. I'm just going to go out and smoke, man.
Starting point is 02:29:04 That's what I'm going to do. Ice, what you got for us, man? I got to start with the ignorant shit. You don't say. Shocker there. You know where I'm going. You're going to play some ignorant self-cheat. Absolutely.

Starting point is 02:32:15 Now you got to turn it up for the white people. Yeah. Wow, shit. Did y'all know she signed to Murder, Inc.? For real? Yeah. Michelle Bray, is that what it is? No, Vanessa Carlson.
Starting point is 02:32:25 It's not the murder ink. Good for them. That record has had a lot of different runs with the White Chicks movie. That's how it is. Ish, what you got for us? What do you got for us? I'm still stuck on the young boys talking about who they shot. Oh, don't worry.

Starting point is 02:33:45 Buy this thriller, call me a ghost face killer It's kinda hard to be drug free But Georgia Power won't give a nigga lights free Switch Hustle's been killing them ever since If hate to tell the truth, dawg, it only makes sense When they play that new tease, all the dope boys go crazy Now watch the dope boys go crazy I pop my collar, then I swing my chain

They say the truth shall come to the light. So everybody grab your shades cause your boy that bright. Good night. When they play that new tease, all the dope boys go crazy.
Starting point is 02:36:42 How polite to say good night after smoking a verse like that. That is nice of him. That is nice. We'll play something off this Trev Rich project, man. I really like what he did where he kind of unlocked, like, he had incentives where if you bought a certain amount of merch. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 02:36:59 That was a really, really cool idea. Did you hear the whole project? Yeah, it's really, really good. Yeah, it is. There's a couple songs I want to play off here. Trev is going to go back to at some point when i have a discussion with ice about how trash he is i can tie it into this trip i can definitely tie it okay good all right great but shout out to trev richard trev is an amazing artist yeah that's my god this is hey shouts to ap2 i with ap heart uh another artist out there in Denver that Trey fuck with.
Starting point is 02:37:25 Okay. Too dope. This is 24-8. What's the story? Are you not happy? You're only half happy? Still be happy about it. Job's not finished.
Starting point is 02:37:36 Job finished. I don't think so. I used to hate on Kobe because I knew he would finish strong. And I seen myself in niggas, he was hittin' game with a zone All them insecurities feel like security in a song I lost that loser complex but for years I was in the wrong How I fuck with 23 but couldn't stand 8 and 24 Like I never ate, like we ain't had the same 24
Starting point is 02:37:59 All the homies loved him but I just couldn't do it though Until I started winning like yo yo this what he do it for Oh now a nigga up so if you know me know it's up No more nights of chicken nuggets with chicken heads now I need up Press my issue all my tears ain't come with tissue I was fucked Now I really be like offended when niggas tell me this was luck My exes still got issues with the old me, old me You knew me but right now you don't know me, know me
Starting point is 02:38:23 I had to level up that's what they told me, told me Now when I shoot my shot I be like I used to hate on Kobe cause I knew he would finish strong And I seen myself in niggas he was hitting game winners on Seen the other niggas in the highlight getting shitted on I guess that's why the losers and the winners can't get along Shoot first, pass second but now I see Cause if I'm grinding while you sleep
Starting point is 02:38:45 Then this shit starts and ends with me And if I practice how I play Then either way, this all for kicks And the track moving quiet Trying to make a playoff piece Ayy, I wear my heart on my sleeve And I was shacked up with this bitch The magic left, so did she
Starting point is 02:38:58 I went through beats in 8-1 Like I had Jalen on me They like, where you been, boy? I been chasing these rings And ever since I moved up outta mama house Had some mommy issues, but we recently just talked about I don't deal with drama now I got a lil' mama now
Starting point is 02:39:13 Teachin' I be petty like these women Tryna get the last word, bitch, mamba out My exes still got issues with the old me, old me You knew me, but right now you don't know me, know me I had to level up, that's what they told me, told me Now when I shoot my shot I be like You said I'm Kobe cause I knew he was feeling strong Until I feel he strong like did I hate myself all along?
Starting point is 02:39:36 That's 24-8 by Trap Rich, man. Shout out to Trap, man. This album is really, really good. I'm not just bullshitting when I say that. I'm a floor- for our guy, huh? Yeah. I know he's from Denver, but he'll always be from Totowa to me. That's my man. Trev put in some real, real work. That was great.
Starting point is 02:39:54 I'm super proud of Trev. Me too. For real. What a great wording of things. Word. Go Trev. I'm happy for Trev. This album is really good, man.
Starting point is 02:40:05 You'll enjoy it. You will enjoy it. I know. He sent it to me early. I'm happy for Trev. His album is really good, man. You'll enjoy it. You will enjoy it. I know. He sent it to me early. I played a little bit. I was like, all right, Trev's still nice. And then I left. Okay.
Starting point is 02:40:12 Yeah. And then I hear music differently once it's released, too. Me, too. I do. I don't even like getting shit in advance. That's what I was going to say. I try to wait. It bothers me sometimes.
Starting point is 02:40:19 But I like the way he released his joint. We had to do a certain amount of things just to get a record unlocked, to get a video unlocked. His whole presentation of this project was super dope. Down to the music, down to the creative, down to the artwork, everything. All right, E, I'm trash. I thought about that. I know you trash. I think we knew that already.
Starting point is 02:40:41 I think we did. Who the fuck going to tell Michael McDonald he can't do a versus? I want to see Michael McDonald in a versus. He got 20? Maybe not. I don't want to see him. You know what?
Starting point is 02:40:59 Enough of that. Let me turn this off for a minute. We've seen a few people that didn't have 20. That's true too. Michael McDonald wore a lot of shit. Let me turn this off for a minute. We've seen a few people that didn't have 20. That's true, too. Michael McDonald wrote a lot of shit. Now, Michael McDonald. He might have produced some shit, too, that I'm not aware of. No, he definitely produced a bunch of shit.
Starting point is 02:41:15 He wrote a bunch of shit. Now, I'm not familiar enough to be able to name 20 off the top, but I know him and Kenny Loggins got a joint. I mean, Patty got joints. He got his own joints. He was with the Doobie Brothers. I can think of five, six records for sure he can a joint. I mean, Patty got joints. He got his own joints. I can think of five. The Doobie Brothers. I can think of five, six records for sure he can.
Starting point is 02:41:27 So, I mean, listen. He got heaters. Yeah. Mm-hmm. That nigga gets big. Okay, before we end the pod,
Starting point is 02:41:35 I'm going to just ask stupid questions. I asked you anyway. Phil Collins in the air tonight. Michael McDonald. I keep forgetting. Oh. I keep forgetting. Oh, I keep forgetting? Yeah. Oh, hold up.
Starting point is 02:41:48 Phil still. Nah, Phil. Nah, Phil. I got Phil too still. I don't know too many songs that are getting In The Air Tonight. It's hard to beat that record, man. It's hard to beat that film. We could probably sit here and think.
Starting point is 02:41:58 In The Air Tonight or Bohemian Rhapsody. In The Air Tonight to me. In The Air Tonight. I might go with Freddie on that one. I'm going with Freddie. I might go Bohemian on that one i'm going with freddie i might go bohemian on that one those two songs yeah and i think the the consensus would probably be bohemian rhapsody beats that record bohemian bohemian rhapsody is one of the greatest songs
Starting point is 02:42:16 it's insane i'll put top five for me personally why because it's like 17 songs it's it's it's rock Imani it's rock about this song I know why white people love that song I want to see why he feels so great it's rock it has elements of R&B well elements of soul elements of everything it's a beautiful but you're a musician I don't want to hear it's structured as a classical I don't want to hear from him as a musician. Okay, fine. You're a musician. That song is a masterpiece. It's like when I fought with Rory about All of the Lights. He loves that because it's a masterpiece for that era that did everything.
Starting point is 02:42:55 It is a masterpiece. Yeah, it's a nice song. Yeah, it is. But, I mean, believe me, Rhapsody. That's a different level of masterpiece. That should be a masterpiece for 50 years or however long. If you don't wall out with them guitarists, I don't know you. I don't have that record beating in the air tonight. You shouldn't.
Starting point is 02:43:11 I probably only have maybe four records off the top of my head that beat in the air tonight. Does Purple Rain beat that? Yes. Yes. Okay. Purple Rain is the greatest record ever made, and it's not losing to anything. Bar none. Now, that's Joe's biased uptake.
Starting point is 02:43:26 You can have mad Michael Jackson songs to beat Pearl Jane. I was about to say, listen, by the way, by the way, by the way, I wasn't going to say Michael. Man, you had a Michael Jackson
Starting point is 02:43:35 Prince beef back in the day and I started running them Michaels and he was like, all right, all right, all right, yo, that nigga. But you know, you know what? I no longer have that beef.
Starting point is 02:43:46 Like, I don't have that beef i appreciate mike prince differently but i appreciate them both like there's no argument for me about any of that anymore like now my argument is i used to say prince and mike but it's probably mike and stevie me. Prince is Joe's favorite. Prince is Joe's favorite all time, bar none, hands down. We didn't even get into that. But we're talking about discographies and impacting the public. I get it. I get it.
Starting point is 02:44:17 Stevie and Mike is a better matchup, though, actually. Why? Because they have. Both started young. They both started young, and they both have like the run no discography like stevie's 70s and mike's 80s were a similar run of like five straight insane records i i could i could i could take stevie in a mike versus not take him as in pick him to win but he's the only artist i can think of that has 20 records that are
Starting point is 02:44:47 formidable against a Michael Jackson. Then you got to nobody outside of R Kelly. You got to, you got to date back to Michael. You got to date back to Michael before off the wall, all that teenage stuff. He did still with the Jackson, still with the Jackson five.
Starting point is 02:45:02 Like that's, that's going to be hard. You can, no one could beat Michael Jackson that's too much it's too much oh I agree cause I feel like
Starting point is 02:45:08 when people say Michael Jackson they automatically go from off the wall no I'm a Mike guy there's so much before that what's the
Starting point is 02:45:16 Jackson 5 might have 20 can any of y'all say what Mike's best record is no no who would the public say?
Starting point is 02:45:25 I would say Man in the Mirror. The public would say Man in the Mirror. The public would probably say Thriller. I feel like. The video is more recognizable than the actual song, but I think people are going to run to his most important, most impactful, most meaningful
