Starting point is 00:01:51 It's like a finger roll. Yeah. If it don't work in the moment. That's a what roll? It's a finger roll. A jelly. That's some bullshit. Why do you say that?

It was bad. When he came back. Whatever it was, it was bad. You're doing a lot to make a point. Don't do that with Nicolas Cage.

He was a totally different dude when he woke up. He was rich. Ferrari, Lambo, and all that. He was rich.

Starting point is 00:03:00 So they could slam dunk you on your fucking head. You talk about finger roll. No, but see, that line's so good that even if they reject it, it's a polite rejection. Oh, thanks, nigga. That's polite? Yo.
Starting point is 00:03:13 See, I'm raising my hand. Ice is a civilian. I'm a civilian. Talk to him, Ice. That line has 100% worked in the past. If you jump into one of these baddies DMs that got 200,000 plus with that damn girl. Oh, no, they're not going to see that. Why are you so fine?
Starting point is 00:03:28 You talking about the baddies. She's got to scroll through Mad Dick Mix to see that little fucking thing. Yeah, she's not going to see that. If there ain't no verified check next to it, she's not going to see that message anyway. All right. We talking about a woman's DM.
Starting point is 00:03:38 The baddies are sending me the voice notes that you niggas be sending them in the DMs. I want to play them. Y'all niggas be sending them in the DMs? I want to play them. Y'all niggas are nuts. Hey, I'm keeping an extra mound with, hey, girl. Oh, why are you so fat?

Starting point is 00:07:15 Where's the Marvin Gaye story at? Marvin Gaye family. You think that's their play with that? We're going to bleep you even saying that. But wait a minute. Yeah, but what I'm saying is... No, they took a Pharrell song that wasn't even a sample and said, nah, pay up. But why they can't put the little shit on the screen like they said, hey, this was just inspired by...
Starting point is 00:07:35 You do it. That's what Pharrell did. Everybody's scared. That ain't what Pharrell did. Stop it, Park. That's not what Pharrell did. You can't do that in a song. He took the whole feeling.
Starting point is 00:07:51 That's copyrightable-ish. Evidently. They still won. Rest in peace, Marvin Gaye. Right on. Right on. Right on. And it go. Right on Right on Ayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayay My man was bugging at the bass. Yeah, I can't turn it off. I can't turn it off.
Starting point is 00:08:27 What a day. Hey. All right, I think I'm still good. I think we good. Young boys, y'all good back there. All right, that's what I like to hear. They up today. Pick it up. Pick it up.

Starting point is 00:09:15 When you was nice like that, you just put as many breakdowns in a song as you want. Yeah, whatever. Bass player, go crazy. Yeah, yeah. Sing this. microphone check one two what is this episode 524 yeah of the joe button podcast i'm your humble gracious grateful and highly favored host joe button here with a few of my nearest and dearest parks is here ish is here ice is here cory is here. Ice is here. Corey is here. Young boys have been extra loud in the back so I know that they are.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Is Alex here? Yeah, he's here. Did I say hi to him when he came in? Yo, what's up, bro? How you doing? I'm good. I'm good, Alex.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Good to see you, man. How's everybody doing? How y'all feeling? What's popping? Good, I'm chilling. Really good, man. Feeling good. How was your weekend?
Starting point is 00:10:01 Low-key as fuck. It was great. We did the, we postponed my grandmother's 80th celebration birthday dinner. So the family had a nice huge dinner for her over the weekend. It was pretty good. Oh, nice. Oh, dope. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:15 I love them. Y'all know I'm a family person. Yeah, me too. So those moments when it's something positive, it's not a funeral. So we basking in that. I love it. That's super dope, so we bask in that. I love it. That's super dope, man. That was fire.
Starting point is 00:10:26 I love it. How was yours? Do you have anything fun? Loki. Yeah. Loki in the house, chilled out, picked my baby up,
Starting point is 00:10:34 kissed him and threw him around all weekend. That was my plan. Nice. And it wasn't my weekend. Throw that out there. That's when they say, you think you want credit?
Starting point is 00:10:44 Then I have to pick picking your kid up? You want a fucking cookie? You want a fucking cookie? But I mean, it ain't mine. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:10:56 But I had a good time. That's nice. We're in the American Dream. Love that place. It's different on the weekend. There's people in there. Shit. I went in there. I was like, oh that place. It's different on the weekend. There's people in there. Shit. I went in there.
Starting point is 00:11:07 I was like, oh, Nick, it's got that PPP money again. Y'all back. That's what it looked like. Ish, how was your weekend, man? What's up? I didn't do much. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:17 So moving right along, where would you gentlemen like to begin? The Grammys? Grammys is a logical start, I guess. The Grammys. Let's do it. All right. The Grammys happened. Didys is a logical start, I guess. The Grammys. Let's do it. All right. The Grammys happened. Did anybody watch it?
Starting point is 00:11:28 I watched it. I watched most of it. I watched most of it. I was back and forth between Dreamville and that a bit, but I watched both. All right. Well, what did you gentlemen think? No need for me to drag it out with what happened. Silk Sonic with a little 4-for-4 sweep.
Starting point is 00:11:48 I mean, I know I've been hard on Silk Sonic. Uh-huh. And I thought about this after the Grammys. I want to walk a little bit of that back. Uh-huh. Because the sound that they're, what's the word? Like look like not reinventing because it's not that uh-huh but it's introducing to a much younger audience who's never heard that before right I don't know if I'm mad at that no more like I don't think that they're like we listen to it from ears
Starting point is 00:12:21 that have heard the originals right but to a to a lot of people, this is just, they've seen pictures of that look. They don't really, they didn't grow up in that sound. They don't know that sound. So it's something new to them. And it's dope. It is dope. And Leave the Door Open was a great song. It really was.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Say what you want about the album. That song was great. And it was a smash. And it deserved to win a lot of awards. Yeah. So I know I've been a little hard on them i'm gonna walk a little bit of that back because i do like what they're doing because it's it's taking introducing that sound even though it's a little different but to a much newer audience
Starting point is 00:12:56 and i can't be mad at that i like that look at that maturity yeah what part of the grammys made you realize that no i was just kept kept seeing them win and coming up there. And I'm just thinking about them. I'm like, you know what? I don't really. Can I hate on this like this? You can't really. The song is a good song.
Starting point is 00:13:15 And then I started thinking more about the sound and why I hated on them. And it's coming from an old nigga perspective. And then I'm putting myself in a place of a younger person, because young people love that Leave the Door Open record. But that's brand new to them. And I kind of take it back to when Puff was flipping the 80s samples. To a lot of people, they don't know them records that he was flipping, even though it's a sample, but they never heard a lot of that shit.
Starting point is 00:13:44 This is why the Grammy, this is why the Grammys are great. Look, you came in here, they changed your whole mind about everything. No, not everything. You're an idiot, this guy. I gotta walk a little bit of this back, man. Because I was looking at it
Starting point is 00:13:54 from a different point of view. I like that, I like that. Sometimes you gain different perspective and you be like, damn, if I look at it from that way, it's not as bad. I ain't gain a different perspective. I just,
Starting point is 00:14:03 when I start feeling good about things that I'm looking at on TV, I take a little night off from hating. I take a little hating lunch break. Listen, I think they did a pretty good job with a lot of the awards. Jasmine won. You're speeding. We're not off for Silk Sonic. Silk Sonic, clean sweep,
Starting point is 00:14:19 hard to hate on these guys because they're two of the most likable guys you could ever meet. They're always smiling. They this magic johnson smile uh and they're just in they're always like in a great mood and they're both talented so it's like and that's why i'm not leaving my beef with them because i still am under the impression that these two dudes are entirely too talented to just give be a karaoke group. I don't think that's fair. I don't think calling them a karaoke group is fair. I'm here to do a pod.
Starting point is 00:14:53 I'm not here to be fair. I, too, was disappointed in the album, though. Me, too. Which is why I'm not mad at them winning for the song. The album's bad. I mean, it was... It's not good. It's okay. It was okay. Okay... It's not good. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:15:06 It was okay. Okay in school was right under good. That's true. That's a C. It's a C. Yeah, yeah. It's a C. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:15 From these two... Brilliant. I think they're juggernauts. I think they're that great. But even the speech, hard to root against these guys yeah when he said yo when he said yo i'm i'm trying to still be humble you know what i laughed at that i shouldn't have laughed at you know it's the greatest night of these guys life bruno mars and pop again shout out to them congratulations and they bring him up there who's the writer of
Starting point is 00:15:40 the record uh producer dima our producer the Producer D-Mal. Damn, D-Mal. Brilliant. Brilliant dude. Yeah, because he produced quite a few records. He does all of the good R&B in the last couple years. But they bring him up there. Give him the mic first. It's like, yeah, man. My mom's dying.
Starting point is 00:15:56 It's just the other day. The whole crowd goes, ah, of course. It's sad. That nigga Bruno took that mic so fast. Did y'all see how fast Bruno's dancing?
Starting point is 00:16:04 It's like,'s like alright dog alright yeah don't ruin the vibe yeah the fuck we know you gonna do all that yo let's sit back down yeah
Starting point is 00:16:15 go ahead oh no but no they were great I want to congratulate the winners I want to congratulate well not all the want to congratulate, well, not all the winners. They did a pretty good job, man. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Oh, yes. But they did a bad job. Wait, let me. They did. For sure. They did. Wait, so you think the Grammys overall did a pretty good job? A decent job.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Comparative to other years, they did a pretty good job this year. But why do we have to compare it to other years? Why we can't just look at this year and judge the job that they did? It's hard knowing how bad they've done. Are we feeling like that because we just seen somebody get the shit smacked out of them at an award show?
Starting point is 00:16:54 No, no, no, no. Typically, the Grammys follows this mantra where all of the performers, you win. Like, if you perform, you're going to win. Or the shit that you can very obviously see was like... They didn't really do that this year. Like, this was the one that the label was pushing super hard, so obviously that one's going to win.
Starting point is 00:17:13 It was a little bit less of that. Come on, fam. We had years where Macklemore won over Kendrick Lamar. Good Kid, Mad City. Yeah, Good Kid, Mad City. Like, we've had some bullshit happen at the Grammys. Oh, y'all going to hate that happened this year? No, it did, but it wasn't as. Oh, y'all going to hate that happened this year? No, it did.
Starting point is 00:17:25 But it wasn't as much bullshit. Y'all going to hate me. No, some more bullshit. Bullshit did happen this year. But I'm just saying, it wasn't as much bullshit as it's been in previous years. There was definitely some bullshit in here. I'm not saying that at all. Of course.
Starting point is 00:17:41 How do we feel about Tyler's win not being televised i feel like we talk about that every year every year every year that's why they limit my commentary because i say the same shit every year about the grammy since 1987 or whenever they first did it all on televised for rap album of the year watching always crazy you know what i'm with you parks let me not fight with you the grammys did do an okay job. Decent. They did a decent job. But I just have a hard time admitting that because they clearly show you just how much they hate rappers and rap and all that shit y'all niggas do. To have that important award before the awards.
Starting point is 00:18:21 All right, cool. That's y'all thing. Y'all never do it. But then the news leaked about the American reggae group from Virginia. Soulja. Sons of Ja. Hello? Yo, I thought, see, I didn't see none of that.
Starting point is 00:18:43 But I thought people were joking when I saw the tweets and I had to go look and then I thought I was being trolled I'm so ignorant man I be looking at the pictures of dudes that I swear they look white but then I read the little caption I'm like nah these dudes no way
Starting point is 00:18:58 these white boys from Virginia didn't grab some no they didn't no they didn't I thought it was a joke like alright y'all got that this is photoshop whatever y'all did y'all not fooling me they got up there and said I want love and I'm not gonna be
Starting point is 00:19:12 now one of them had an accent one of them got up there with an accent this is what the Grammys did he might have been from somewhere what is American Reggae? somebody tell me fam
Starting point is 00:19:27 now they put American in front of just shit and it turns into Gap or some shit I thought it was just flat out Reggae it wasn't this is an American Reggae group no I'm just saying I didn't make it up I read that because I never heard of them and when i read it up it said actually when they won it said american reggae
Starting point is 00:19:51 group soldier takes home the award for blah blah blah blah that is my fault he's not on this podcast what do you think about that i don't think they said American reggae number one. It don't matter, but they're from Virginia. I didn't hear the music. I don't care about the fucking music, man. That matters, man. It matters. If the music was some bullshit. Nigga, I wouldn't care if they made Hotline Bling. Get these niggas the fuck out of here.
Starting point is 00:20:19 I wouldn't care if they made Flex. Flex. Yo, no. Yo, you stupid, yo. I'm not. Dolly, dolly, dolly. They can get this the fuck out of here. They let all nine of them.
Starting point is 00:20:32 And that's my other problem with these white dudes. When nine of y'all win an award y'all shouldn't win, it should be only two of y'all to speak. I don't want to watch all nine of y'all get a jaw. Bless. Jaw bless. All nine of them. That was nasty.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Let's get with the nasty shit first. Hip hop fashion designer. That was disgusting. Virgil. Rest in peace, Virgil. King Virgil. That was disgusting yeah virgil rest in peace virgil king virgil that was disgusting minimalize him to that that was disgusting bro and somebody should be ashamed of himself word up no this whole shit is a schmuck this shit is a this whole shit is whack this is the place where we celebrate musicians this is the place
Starting point is 00:21:25 if there's nowhere else in the world that's knowledgeable about music and who's who and what's what it should be the Grammys I don't think so
Starting point is 00:21:32 hip I just think that it seems as if the people in charge are still tuned no
Starting point is 00:21:41 just disconnected you know what I'm saying? You just said the same thing I'm saying. No, I'm agreeing with you. No, I'm just saying that it seems as if they just some 60-year-old white people. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:21:53 That still put more stake in Tony Bennett. Yo, Tony Bennett is still alive. Yeah, he still gets more press than motherfucking Lil Baby. I mean, he's Tony. I'm not disrespecting Tony Bennett. He don't get more impressed than little baby either. On the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:22:06 On the Grammys, that nigga's face was up there like 7,000 times. Well, that's Tony Bennett. I'm not. I get it. He's him. I'm just saying,
Starting point is 00:22:15 Tony Bennett is up there. So you can see somebody made a concerted effort to keep putting his fucking face up on the screen. But Kanye, you ain't see his face one time. And so I'm ain't see his face one time.
Starting point is 00:22:27 And so I'm just saying it's a disconnect there. You get what I'm saying? In today's music, Kanye West is important. Kanye West is relevant. I will say, I think that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga did put out an album this year. You could have really took pot into the next level just now. You said, I think Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga fucked.
Starting point is 00:22:47 You could have just came right in and turned shit up. There's been a lot of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga performances in the last decade. You might be at a slump. You're a sicko, yo. Something wrong. But go ahead. Finish your Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. I'm just saying they put out an album,
Starting point is 00:23:08 and the Grammys clearly banned Kanye for whatever reason, so that would kind of explain why you didn't see Kanye up on any screens. They made a concerted effort to not have him on any screens. I'm actually shocked that he still won awards. Word. I did not expect that at all. That being said, he should have won more awards. Cole, give me a rapper
Starting point is 00:23:25 that was up there. Cole was stubbed. You get what I'm saying? Give me any rapper that was... The rappers weren't there. That's what I paid attention to all night.
Starting point is 00:23:32 He came up there. He did. The rappers wasn't there. The rappers wasn't there. Still don't mean that they didn't put out quality music throughout the duration
Starting point is 00:23:40 of the year. I'm not in the game. As a music production, you gotta give some credence to that. Nas was there. Nas was there. Nominated.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Stop it. Stop what? You just said, give me some rappers. Hip-hop's presence wasn't felt at the Grammys. Hip-hop has also been saying, fuck the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:24:00 So? So the Grammys, if I'm the Grammys and y'all are actively saying, fuck us. You're wrong. Why am Iys and y'all are actively saying fuck us. You're wrong. Why am I highlighting you? Because we are here for the business.
Starting point is 00:24:08 We are here for the quote unquote music. No, we're not. We are here to recognize the musicianship. No, we're not. That's a mistake. No, we're not. That's not what we're here for. This is money.
Starting point is 00:24:17 This is a business. We're not here for no culture or none of that. We don't give a fuck about none of that. And that's the problem. Herein lies the problem. I'm with you there. But for you to say we're here to highlight the musicians, no, we're not.
Starting point is 00:24:30 The Grammys is a business. I was just pointing out that's why a lot of the veteran rappers are not there. I'm telling y'all to stop it with Nas, because Nas is the exception who's been snubbed for his career. And he's an all-time legend he should have his Grammy he should have his moment he should go up there with the new hair that we never saw like he he should do that uh Nicki Minaj will have this moment this is their Susan
Starting point is 00:24:55 Susan Rucci moment like when you've been snubbed during Luchi I'm sorry when you've been snubbed your entire career yeah you should show up and receive those flowers. But he's the exception. So this ain't like just Jay-Z and Kanye and Drake saying I'm not fucking with the Grammys. Tyler gave his Grammy speech from Instagram Live. No, he was on stage somewhere, I think, wasn't he? No. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:25:20 I saw him do a speech, a show as well. He was on his phone, looked like in a yard somewhere. But I'm just saying, like, listen to that. I won Best Rap Album, and I'm on Insta Live. I wasn't even there. And I'm on Insta Live saying, yo, thank you to my fans, the people that matter. Thank you guys. I'm not even over there at that shit.
Starting point is 00:25:41 I thought that was pretty fly. He talked his shit, too, in that speech, as he should. He should. Because he's like, you know, a lot of y'all keep saying, ain't nobody listening to this album. I thought that was pretty fly. He talked his shit too in that speech, as he should. He should. Because he's like, you know, a lot of y'all keep saying ain't nobody listening to this album,
Starting point is 00:25:48 ain't nobody playing this album. I'm doing sold out arena tours. Somebody's listening. I listen to that a lot. I love that album. But I'm just saying to the naysayers who keep saying,
Starting point is 00:25:57 oh, don't nobody really fuck with that album. No, there's a lot of people that fuck with that album and he's pointing it out. That album wasn't the best
Starting point is 00:26:04 or second best album in that category but more politics this is just the politic awards oh for sure the label awards no question and that was confirmed for me when kanye started winning all the awards he won for jail and he won for hurricane for hurricane that let me know that y'all know the rest of that album is just as fire as them two records. That nigga been shitting on the Grammys for two months, and y'all still couldn't figure out a way to not give him those awards. Couldn't do nothing about it. That mean y'all heard that Fabio record on there. Y'all heard the rest of that album.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Congratulations to Tyler, because it don't matter. And congratulations to DJ Drama in that as well. Word. And congratulations to DJ Drama in that as well. Word. Because to start Gangsta Grills as a local mixtape shit and would now win a Grammy for one, considering the fight that he took on for hip-hop, with the whole defense coming after them for mixtapes,
Starting point is 00:26:58 to now see you go up there and win a, well, not go up there, but to see you win a Grammy, even him, Drama was notified while interviewing at Dreamville Festival. He was on stage, I think, but to see you win a Grammy. Even him, Drama was notified while interviewing at Dreamville Festival. He was on stage, I think, while the Grammys was happening. I was going back and forth between them. Yeah, he was sitting down with Wayno and Rob, and then Wayno stopped. He was like, yo, yo, yo, y'all just won the Grammy.
Starting point is 00:27:16 That's how he found out. So that's just ill. And shouts to Drama and Tyler. I'm not mad at them winning that award for that album. I'm not mad at any of the winners they won. And I don't care how they won. They won. It's your moment.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Enjoy it. You deserve it. Baby King, that was shocking to me. Yeah, I didn't expect that at all. I didn't expect it. But when he won, I was like, yep, Interscope. They're going to get theirs. And wasn't it rap performance?
Starting point is 00:27:43 Yeah, best rap performance. I mean the family ties if you want to actually break down what the or what I think means like quality of rapping him and Kendrick went crazy on that record
Starting point is 00:27:51 they did so it's valid I ain't gonna lie when I saw the nominees I knew who in my head who was winning that
Starting point is 00:27:58 so I was glad to be wrong in that case who did you think was winning Meg okay wrong in that case who did you think was winning meg okay move on it's a good guess she was there presenting they you know what's been happening she's been getting a lot of press i just knew she was going to win that all of the people that was there that you assume would have racked up in my, they only didn't rack up because some of them
Starting point is 00:28:28 or most of them already racked up. Like Meg racked up already. Yeah, but they don't stop that. They still let the Irish rack up. This is business, man. When Meg went up there with Beyonce and whoever, and that was the moment. Those were the Meg Awards.
Starting point is 00:28:48 We got it. That was your biggest moment you haven't really delivered that type of moment since then Drake eliminated himself Cole eliminated himself from fucking doing too great a business you do too good a business and you're not mingling with us you're not not talking to us. You're not out here for the parties. You're not rubbing elbows with the board. Cole is doing his own thing. Cardi wasn't there. Didn't plan on coming. They know who's not coming.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And Interscope was going to get one. They were just going to get one. And they got more than one. They got more than one. Yeah, they got more than one. Michelle Rodrigo. Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Who's the Michelle person I'm thinking about? Michelle Rodrigo is the actress Olivia who's the Michelle person I'm thinking about Michelle Rodrigo is the actress she's the actress Olivia Rodrigo I don't know who you're thinking of it's Michelle
Starting point is 00:29:33 Olivia Rodrigo racked up did she yeah three deservedly so what label is she on that was an independent album I think she's affiliated with Disney
Starting point is 00:29:42 but that album I think is an independent album but you know she was a Disney kid got it It was an independent album, I think. She's affiliated with Disney, but that album, I think, is an independent album. No affiliate. But you know, she was a Disney kid. Got it. And I'm sure that they had some say in the market. Interscope.
Starting point is 00:29:53 What do you know? Well, there you go. When it first came out, it didn't have Interscope. I remember when the album first dropped, and you came in and said, yo, it's an album that just dropped. It was amazing. Yeah. You said RIM put you on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:03 But you said it was amazing. It's a great pop album. So we're saying it's the Interscope Awards, pretty much. Well, who else? Scissors on Interscope, right? Baby Keem, is it? Oh, okay. What label is he on?
Starting point is 00:30:17 That's that PG Lang that Kendrick has. It's Interscope. That baby Interscope. No, no, no. It's Columbia. Got it. Oh, good. Well may be Interscope. No, no, no. It's Columbia. Got it. Oh, good. Well, shout out to Columbia.
Starting point is 00:30:29 All right, who else? Who else? Who else? Who else? I don't... Oh, yeah, Doja Cat. Also. I was shocked.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Nah, that song was a smash. I'm not shocked. I'm not disagreeing, but... It was a smash. The fact that right when they announced that award, Justin had just left off the stage. True.
Starting point is 00:30:48 So I'm like, oh yeah, he won. He gonna win. Come right back out. He's about to come right back out. We've seen that happen plenty of times. All the time.
Starting point is 00:30:53 So I was kind of shocked. Again, the performers typically win. threw fucking tomatoes at the screen if you'd have wanted to. I was just getting ready to say,
Starting point is 00:30:59 yo would've came in here with a thousand potatoes. I would've threw potatoes at my fucking expensive 82 inch television if Justin Bieber would have won something. Get his ass the fuck out of here. Yeah, you'd have lost it. I kind of wish you'd have won just to see. No, I just want to see Joe reaction.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Even though I'm not so mad at him no more. I'm not so mad at him. Justin's taking karate. He going to fuck your ass up, watch. Well, I'll avoid him no more lawsuits hey y'all gonna get mad at me but
Starting point is 00:31:31 I hate them BTS niggas nah you wilding now I've wild before okay we know I don't want no smoke tell me why they sound too good
Starting point is 00:31:44 the music ain't bad so you can't say the music no smoke tell me why they sound too good the music ain't bad so you can't say the music is bad tell me why though do I need a reason yeah come on you should you don't have a reason
Starting point is 00:31:54 if you don't have a reason that's disgusting I hate them niggas but there's no reason why I hate them I don't have to divulge my reason to you I just hate them niggas
Starting point is 00:32:03 I don't want to hear that shit I don't want to see them dance moves I don't want to seege my reasons to you. I just hate them niggas. I don't want to hear that shit. I don't want to see them dance moves. I don't want to see you come down from the sky in a little umbrella. I don't want to see your four fucking, your four Cody's come from the audience and then link up like Voltron to do all the 98 degrees moves.
Starting point is 00:32:19 I don't want to see none of this shit. I don't want to see it. I know they big. I know it's China. I don't want to see, I don't want to see it. I don't want to see Korea. Korea. I don't want to see it I know they big I know it's China I don't want to see I don't want to see it I don't want to see Korea I don't want to see Korean sync
Starting point is 00:32:27 I don't want to see Korean sync Yeah look Why y'all think Why they See and that's my problem With hip hop And just music
Starting point is 00:32:39 Why do y'all think That because A group is big Or an act is big And they're talented That you can't hate them? No, it's not that. In my opinion, dog, if you don't. For no reason.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Yeah. If you just don't like somebody for no reason, that's disgusting. Somebody just walk around like, yo, I don't like Joe Budden. I don't like Parks. And I'm like, yo, what they did to you. If it makes sense why you don't like them, cool. If it don't make sense, yo, get the fuck away from me. Even if ain't and i've been like this to you it's just why don't you like them like they don't have to necessarily do something if you don't have a reason but if you got no reason
Starting point is 00:33:12 at all and it's just like i don't want to hear that shit i don't want to see that shit i don't necessarily enjoy the politics behind that shit like fuck out of here. Knock it off. I feel like Shaq when Yao Ming started defending the All-Star game. Oh, folks. Okay, I get that. Like, stop. See the difference? Like, stop.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Yeah, you know what time it is with these little niggas, man. That explains their popularity. They so great. Where the other Korean fucking pop star dancing niggas at? There's a bunch of them.
Starting point is 00:33:42 That's over here. That's over here. That's over here blowing up, being shoved in my face at every award show. See, that's the thing about award shows. The people that's there
Starting point is 00:33:49 are shoved in my face at every award show. So it's Doja. I love her, though. It's BTS. It's Lil Nas X. It's Billie Eilish. It's Chris Stapleton.
Starting point is 00:33:58 These are the people that are shoved in my face. And at some point, yeah, you're going to say, oh, fuck some of these niggas. Nah, nah. If the music is trash, if the music is trash, then I ain't beat.
Starting point is 00:34:08 But if the music is all right, then I'm cool with it. They deserving it. Yeah, I hear you. Long as the music dope. And these niggas' music is all right. I'm sorry. Like, I've heard a couple.
Starting point is 00:34:17 I didn't even know it was them. I'm like, who the fuck are these BTS niggas? I keep seeing everywhere. And when you hear the song. And this might play the record. I went through that same thing. I went through all this shit.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Oh, this hard track. And that's politics. That's not politics. seeing everywhere and when you hit a song I went through that same thing I went through all these hard tracks I was like and that's politics that's not politics forget it do you have your computer I want to see how many BTS songs you have
Starting point is 00:34:32 on your phone probably none then how's it not politics you just said that's not ISIS demo these guys are being shoved in my face I didn't say that
Starting point is 00:34:40 you said that I never said that you just did you kept hearing their music and I was like yo no I kept hearing the name BTS and I'm like, yo. No, I kept hearing the name BTS, and I'm like, who the fuck is BTS? And then somebody played the song to me. And then I heard the song.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Oh, shit, I heard this. I just never knew it was them. I've had that with a bunch of people before. Oh, that's their record? Me and Ice was in the club. Me and Ice was in the club. He's like, yeah, such and such. And I'm like, Ice.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Where y'all was in a club when BTS came on? See, that's why I don't club with y'all. Y'all go to the clubs with the most skinny girls just dancing to K-pop. I said, yo, Ice mentioned a rapper. I'd be like, who the fuck is that?
Starting point is 00:35:11 He'd be like, you know the song and then he'll play the song or the song will come on. He'd be like, I'd be like, oh, that's them. These BTS niggas got slaps.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Bunch of them. Yeah. That's all. Niggas is trash. All right. Niggas is trash. Okay. All right, so where did... That's all. Niggas is trash. All right. Niggas is trash. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:35:25 So where do they rank in y'all's boy band group? Boy band list. Of right now, they're the only one. Of right now. Look how niggas. Let me forget it, yo.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Don't worry about it. I didn't ask you nothing about right now. I asked you about boy bands in history. They only been out for a couple years. They been out for three,
Starting point is 00:35:41 four, five years. I don't have a ranking because I don't listen to boy bands like that. You can't rank them yet. Why you can't rank them? It's like saying, four, five years. I don't have a ranking because I don't listen to boy bands like that. You can't rank them yet. Why you can't rank them? It's like saying, where do you rank Lil Baby and all-time rappers? You can't. Stop
Starting point is 00:35:52 it, man. If you put these niggas in a boy band versus with anybody, they're getting mopped the fuck up. They should, Joe. They fucking teenagers. Oh, stop it. Stop it. Give them six, seven years and then you might have a year. Exactly. How long. Give them six, seven years, and then you might have a... And see if they keep producing. Exactly. How long have they been out?
Starting point is 00:36:07 Five years? In this side, a couple years. So I got to give them three more years to put them somewhere? You might got to give them four or five. Oh, please. You talking about the best boy bands in history, Joe. It ain't take too long to figure out NSYNC was NSYNC-ing. Yeah, all right.
Starting point is 00:36:19 It didn't. Okay. They came right out and got to it. They came out in 2013, by the way. Yeah, I don't want to hear that shit, man. It was in Korean. Yeah, I don't care. No matter.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I'm not listening to that shit. The album was in Korean in 2013. That shit ain't reach America. They knew over here. You think that shit is English they singing it now? Somebody play one of his songs. Let me hear it. Play one of his slaps.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Hey, butter. Look. Tuh. I saw the name. You know the song. Somebody play one of his songs Let me hear it Play one of the slaps Play Butter Look I saw the name You know the song You know the fucking song When you hear it You better give me props too We've done this before
Starting point is 00:36:52 It's very cool But I'll do it again Turn it on Give me a little something Play Butter I heard I was like oh that's good That shit smooth right there
Starting point is 00:36:59 I ain't gonna keep seeing them Those good right there You see what I did there On my screen I'm getting there You know I wanna jump to the screen You got 16 bars one day B-Squid Game so bad They're going to keep seeing them. That was good right there. You see what I did there? I'm getting there, you know. I wanted to jump to the screen and be Squid Game so bad. This is Slap.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Yo, turn this off, yo. Yo, you bugger. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. You got to wait till the hook. Yeah, the hook. The hook, get it. You bugger. Yeah, you bugger.
Starting point is 00:37:23 See, that's why I can't have conversations with civilians, yo. How do you think this song was made? Probably the same way any other successful pop song was made. They went and got this writer. They went and got this producer. They put it together and told these niggas to repeat it. Exactly, and it worked. And it worked.
Starting point is 00:37:42 And the exact same thing for Michael Jackson all the way up they all been doing that oh shit you just introduced yes he has let's move on let's move on so he didn't
Starting point is 00:37:51 I'm wrong am I wrong am I wrong yes you're wrong so they didn't have a writer it's okay we're trying to protect you from this take
Starting point is 00:37:59 I'm not saying they on the same level don't put words in my mouth I'm telling you that all the pop stars Function the same way He's not wrong That's how a hit song is made
Starting point is 00:38:08 They get a writer A producer They make the record Here you take this And go in the booth and spit it It's different Cause a lot of niggas Will add they own sauce
Starting point is 00:38:16 I heard some of the songs That was written And Michael Jackson took the song And just transformed the song Into something different Correct Of course You gotta put Michael Jackson in there
Starting point is 00:38:23 I'm not Do you think whoever wrote that song made it sound like that? Did it that way? No. It depends. Yeah. Because I've heard some
Starting point is 00:38:31 of the songs that Neo have written for people and they sound like, what do you call it when you sing it? A reference karaoke. Oh, reference. Yeah, that.
Starting point is 00:38:39 And I've heard it and it sounds like that. But then I've heard songs that niggas wrote for Michael Jackson or Michael Jackson got and he transformed the song and made it his own. Actually, Sam, we've heard that about wrote for michael jackson or michael jackson got and he transformed the song and made it his own actually we've heard that about drake i believe about a lot
Starting point is 00:38:49 of people a lot that's what i'm saying a lot of so that's what i'm i'm with you we i'm just saying that hit pop records are made that way i believe that and i'm not just going to penalize them for it when we let all the other pop stars succeed with it. I'm fucking with you. That's all I'm saying. What all the other pop stars? Name one. They're in that list. All of the pop stars. Every single one of them.
Starting point is 00:39:12 That's the way it works. With a pop record. Ice is the rule. He is, but I'm not arguing with you. So you think NSYNC didn't go through that? When somebody wrote a song and had a dope producer? They absolutely went through that. Come on, Joe.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Just say you don't like BTS, man. Yeah, he already does. I started with that. All right, so we good then. We good. We can leave it alone. For no reason at all. And y'all sitting here trying to unpack it.
Starting point is 00:39:30 We can leave it alone. We can leave it alone. Nothing to unpack. We can leave it alone. I don't want to hear none of that shit. I don't want to just pick five little niggas from somewhere, put them around, give them every fucking chance to succeed, and now they on TV for the next 10 years. Get these niggas the fuck out of my face.
Starting point is 00:39:43 That's- No, that's not. No, that's not. No, that's not. I know y'all keep saying that, but everybody is not afforded that opportunity. And if you keep telling me to name every pop star, I'm going to pull some up. Everybody is not afforded that opportunity.
Starting point is 00:39:56 They pick who they want to choose. You just finished telling me that every pop song is created that way. Let me ask you a question. I'm saying every pop act is not privy to these writing conditions, these style of songs,
Starting point is 00:40:14 these writers. No, they're not. So for you and Parks to say, oh, that's how all of them do it. No. Maybe I could just hear when certain shit is handpicked and y'all can't.
Starting point is 00:40:24 But Joe, these niggas started off certain shit is handpicked and y'all can't. But Joe, these niggas started off in 2013 in Korea. And we're big. They built up their audience. They built up their following. Then they came across the seas already with a following to get with the best producers. It might not have been just six niggas from fucking Boston, Massachusetts that they snatched out the projects and gave them some shit. These niggas earned their way. Are you going to listen to it in the F-150?
Starting point is 00:40:46 No. Me neither. Let's move on. Yeah, I'm fucking arguing about my opinion. I might put that butter in there. No, you won't. Play butter again. The song is dope.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Play it again. Butter go, man. Play it again now. I got it. I got it. I want to hear some more. That sounds like the worst shit. No, it's the crazy part.
Starting point is 00:41:02 That's not true. If it was somebody else, you'll like it. I had trouble breaking into your heart like that. Cool chase on the carol, a little to my mother. I can see you tapping your little bare feet, and there was anybody else. I put it right here. Yeah. It's not tapping. When I look in the mirror, I'll let you hide in your tomb.
Starting point is 00:41:20 I got the superpowers of love. Yo, you such a sometimes boy. A place that my life took my being. Yo, you are a... Sometimes, boy. Yo, you are a hypocrite. This is some shit you would love to do with somebody else. Turn it off. If Chris Brown made this song, you would be in here doing the motherfucking Watusi.
Starting point is 00:41:42 That's not true. I would wait for his second single. That sound like Danity Kane to me. I'm cool. Sounded like damage to some bullshit. All right, what else? Oh, man. Congrats to Jasmine Sullivan.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Yeah, absolutely. Well-deserved. Absolutely. Well-deserved. Round of applause. She got a couple, right? Yes, she did. Yes, they gave her a tie.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I'm sorry? Wait, excuse me? She got a tie with Silk Sonic. She got a tie with Silk Sonic. She got a tie with Silk Sonic. Best R&B performance. See that? They do that? I've never heard it.
Starting point is 00:42:10 I've never heard no tie. But I mean, salute, I guess. And I'm shocked, again, that she won. Oh, I'm not shocked Jasmine won. No, the album was dope. Remember, niggas was going crazy over it last year. But in the same category They had three performers
Starting point is 00:42:27 In that category That performed So that's That's the other thing It felt like With some of those More pop categories There were like
Starting point is 00:42:40 Ten options to choose from Some of them shit They were the nominees It was like The song of the year the big ones I think they always do that.
Starting point is 00:42:48 They didn't always do that. It's frequently a lot more it's more so It don't be 10 yo. It was 10. They don't always do that. Okay I'm gonna go look. Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Okay. It was 10 of them I was like damn. Yeah save your condescending shit for after you look. I was more surprised that she won the Best R&B Album because the John Batiste dude was just cleaning the fuck up. So I didn't think he would lose anything.
Starting point is 00:43:15 How many did he win? Who? John Batiste. He won a bunch. Yeah. So when I saw him nominated in there, I was like, oh, yeah, it's a wrap. And her album was amazing usually the albums that we feel that way about get overlooked when
Starting point is 00:43:28 it comes Grammy time you'll get the nomination but you're not gonna win so this is great for he won five by the way John Batiste can grab round of applause I'm gonna have to go back and listen to that album. Which one? BTF? No. It's just so conflicted as a man. Right? At least once a week, he comes in here with a long spiel about how he's boycotting the Chinese food spots. And now he want to beat me down.
Starting point is 00:44:01 I can't believe it. Yo, now I'm mad that y'all stepped on my BTS hate. I am a little bit. I had a little more hate to get off. Yo, let BTS fans get me on your ass.

Starting point is 00:45:29 Yeah, finally some real pop. Some real boy band shit. Yes. Now, what did y'all say the name of that song was? Bubbles? Butter. Butter. Butter.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Look, yeah. Y'all say the name of that song with bubbles? Butter. Butter. Butter. Look, yeah. The extended version, huh? The extended version. You know what this is. You don't know what this is? The extended version. I will get up and do the fucking dance.
Starting point is 00:45:58 Please don't. You know this song. Have a play with me. I don't know that. You just beat me down about butter. You better know what this is. Let me fast forward it for you. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Damn, how long they extend this for? Nigga, give me the song. It's for the DJs. For the DJs. When I bring you the flame, I'll show you how. Hey. Got a question for you, better answer now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Am I a bitch or you know? Yeah. Y'all was outside. Come on, man. Come on. Come on. Yeah. Alex, you was outside? He wasn't bored yet. Yeah, he wasn't bored. I like this song.
Starting point is 00:46:35 I do. That's why I think you got to give BTS a shot, man. Come on, man. Yeah, you got to give BTS a shot, Joe, man. Snake is out his mind. This is Silk Sonic again. No, that, yeah. Come on, man. Yeah, you got to give BTS a shot, Joe, man. Sniggas out his mind. This is Silk Sonic again. No, that's not. No, when I say that, that is woolen brass.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Fucking. All right, so now I got to go on a run now just to get that. I'm going to tell you what I mean when I say that. BTS, get the fuck out of here. BTS is so sonic to that. My fire. Hey, BTS got one of these? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Yeah? Now enlighten me if they do. They Yeah. Enlighten me if they do. Enlighten me if they do. They do. I don't know. I hear the whole audience out there. It goes. Oh. Yeah, go ahead and check the samplers.
Starting point is 00:47:17 No, no. Go ahead. You got to sample them BTS records to find one of these. Go ahead and plug your little phone in. Hey. Hey, while you're doing that, we're going to sing me in the order. It goes, here's the way, side to side, side to side. I'm there.
Starting point is 00:47:28 What do you say? I want it that way. Tell me why it ain't nothing but a lie. Hey, you can't hate her. Don't do that. Don't do that to this. This is a monster. Don't do that to this.
Starting point is 00:47:42 This is the last one here. But no, what I'm asking is, you know, this is a slut. I like this. This is a Maybe the last one, yeah. But don't do that to this. This is Slaps. I like this song. You better get your way out of here. I like this bullshit. This ain't no bullshit right here. This song is hard.
Starting point is 00:47:59 They got slaps. Joe. I don't want to see these little niggas cartwheeling all over the fucking stage. That's just old nigga talk. It is. That's it. That's it. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's old nigga talk.
Starting point is 00:48:09 It's all good. That's why I said this is Silk Sonic. Fuck them niggas. Same thing. Niggas who heard the old sound and are from the sound don't like a new nigga doing it. Oh, I hated this. What was he in? The Star Trek Center right here?
Starting point is 00:48:21 What's BTS doing right here? That was fire. That was dope. Yo, y'all. That was dope. Who are y'all? You're bugging, yo. Yo, who are y'all?
Starting point is 00:48:30 Drop down from the ceiling like things. That was horrible, yo. I hope he fell. It should have been him on crutches instead of scissor. He ain't even had no harness on that. Nigga, I'm just going. See, look. Y'all got this nigga BTS walking around like he Billy Dee Williams.
Starting point is 00:48:45 This nigga BTS. It's a group of them. They sold as many fucking albums as they sold you would think you was, too. Wait, which one is him? Him. He's the B? Look, she like, yo, get your duck ass out of my face. No, she not.
Starting point is 00:48:57 No, she not. She's an actress, you guys. You say whatever you want. I bet you she'll go perform. Yo, at this point nevermind don't talk about Liv like that I bet you she'll go perform
Starting point is 00:49:14 on him no she was gonna do a casting it's cool fam what I'm telling you is if you sold as many albums as they have you'll be walking around a small fucker
Starting point is 00:49:23 like you have 15 stocks yo that's my other favorite thing to do like while the grammys is on because there's so many amazing dancers and routines hey i like to find the dancer out of the bunch that ain't really moving in unison with the other ones like look at too tall doofy dude on the end of bts the dude all the way to the left when you watch it not him not the one in the front trying to hide the other guy. Oh, they moved him. I hate. There you go.
Starting point is 00:49:48 I hate that. Get him out of here, man. You're going to find something to hate on. No, he's going to come back in here in about four weeks. It's my job to be a critical thinker for the sheep out there that have no idea what's going on. That there's billions and billions of dollars into getting you to think somebody's dope. Hey, guess what? And I have an issue with it.
Starting point is 00:50:06 I do. But you can't have an issue with it with just them. You got to have that issue across the board, because that's all the way across the board with these pop acts.
Starting point is 00:50:14 There's money in all of them to get people to think they dope. It's hip-hop, too. That is true. Fuck you talking about, nigga? It's hip-hop, too. It gets popular because of the money behind it.
Starting point is 00:50:23 I know, and I think the money that's behind it is intentionally trying to whitewash culture. Ah, so it's racial. Oh, man. I said whitewash. Culture. Whitewash.
Starting point is 00:50:37 Let's talk about album of the year, man. John Baptiste. You heard it? I did hear it. You heard the album? Yeah, I heard it. It was dope. Yeah, it's good. It's good. I did hear it. You heard the album? Yeah, I heard it. It was dope. Yeah, it's good.
Starting point is 00:50:47 It's good. I don't know if it should be album of the year, but I mean, you know, I think they, they try to not find the same category every year, it seems like. It seems like they intentionally try to do album of the year of some shit that we didn't expect.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Damn near every year. Yeah, I agree. Listen, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, I didn't think they were going to win, but it's Tony Bennett, so we got to nominate you. Justin Bieber, that shit was trash, but it's Justin Bieber. We got to nominate you.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Doja Cat, I think she already had her big Grammy night where she won everything. Billie Eilish did, too. Billie Eilish already had her night. She did. Lil Nas X, I stand for you. Unfortunately, we need a loser for the night. He went 0 for 5.
Starting point is 00:51:28 We need a- And that's a story in its own. We need a loser. Because he's one of them. He's in that Doja Cat world. But, sorry, man. Jack Harlow's new. He almost drove it home for you.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Yeah. But I love the performance. Didn't think he would win. Her, didn't think she would win her didn't think she would win had her Grammy night Olivia Rodrigo I thought I thought Olivia was gonna win
Starting point is 00:51:49 I thought she was gonna win I thought she was gonna clean she could've won but she won three she lost the auction I thought she was gonna win she lost the silent the label lost the silent auction
Starting point is 00:51:58 that they do like you know when the baseball team they gotta go go over there and look at the ill picture hey put your bid in the envelope. And just, nobody gets to know what it is.
Starting point is 00:52:09 She lost. That's all. Because she would have won. Taylor Swift, nah. She's gotten hers as well. Yeah, she had hers. And Kanye kind of took it from himself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:22 The John Batiste album, when it it came out I listened to it because I'm a fan of his I didn't think it was it's to me it wasn't that but I'm happy for him because I think he's a
Starting point is 00:52:31 he's a brilliant dude brilliant yes you know the soul soundtrack and all that shit he did was great the Pixar movie
Starting point is 00:52:38 I don't know if y'all watched that but soul yeah yeah he did an old soundtrack for that with Trent Reznor
Starting point is 00:52:42 who's also brilliant so I like it I like it i like it for a lot of different reasons i like someone that's kind of in media but a brilliant musician getting his shit off it's like quest love winning shit you know i'm saying like i love that i love quest love winning and wearing silly he crocs yeah the one that i want quest love is hard man he's great what an amazing week for him
Starting point is 00:53:06 word yeah and if you haven't seen what is it Summer of Soul great great flick it's really really really good
Starting point is 00:53:13 they snuck John Legend ass out there on me again of course and Ice ruined me all I can hear now is Reading Rainbow that was me
Starting point is 00:53:22 well you ruined me yeah John Legend come out and all I hear is him is Reading Rainbow. That was me. Well, you ruined it. Yeah. John Legend come out and all I hear is him singing Reading Rainbow. That really pissed me off, yo. Him doing Reading Rainbow. That really pissed me off.
Starting point is 00:53:35 You know what, though? After the... I'm turning my hate off. I'm turning my hate off now. Not true, though. No, I am, for real. You should take a day off from hating. Oh, a day.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Because when John Legend was up there singing and I kept hearing Reading Rainbow, then that nigga was like, no no i am for real you should take a day off from hating oh a day because when john legend was up there singing and i kept hearing reading rainbow then i think it was like he's an egot winner i was like like some things you can't hate on uh he got that's impressive uh oscar tony emmy grammy that's tough to do even with all your relationships and friends and smiling everybody can't do that
Starting point is 00:54:09 no that's tough to do so can't hate on him not at all the president of Ukraine I was glad that that happened yeah it was cool I was glad to see him
Starting point is 00:54:18 you didn't like him they had the Ukrainian performers that was cool you didn't like it they can't hear you. You hear the sheer why? No, it's your platform.
Starting point is 00:54:29 I see that's your little new line. It's your platform. You want me to share it? I'll share it. Share it. Fam, I'm not in cahoots with this. I think that as a humanitarian, we definitely need to feel for everybody. right but that that feeling can't be
Starting point is 00:54:49 subjective so i think that all mad other he's making a reason no i'm not making it common sense i think that how come only y'all get to make a reason i think that when mad countries in africa was going through similar shit nobody gave a fucking speech for them i think that when mad countries in Africa was going through similar shit nobody gave a fucking speech for them I think that fucking another major country that we all know has been under siege since I was a little boy throwing rocks at tanks don't nobody do that shit for them
Starting point is 00:55:15 so I don't think you get to pick and choose even when you start hearing about the commentary of yo people are literally saying on live TV yo this is not an African country. This is Europe. People with blonde hair and blue eyes are under attack. We never saw that.
Starting point is 00:55:32 What channel are you on? I swear to God. I bought a nigga with that. I could pull him up like that. That ain't on New York One. You could pull him up like that. I promise you. No, I'm just saying. I'm sure that does happen, but that doesn't take away from the humanitarian. It doesn't. What I'm saying is we don't get to pick and choose when we're human humanitarian what I'm saying is we don't get to pick and choose when we're humanitarians
Starting point is 00:55:47 the same way we don't get to pick and choose when you start your mental health conversation you don't get to pick on the fat kid but not pick on the black kid or the Asian I do get what you're saying for him to have a special sitting up there I can't turn my humanitarian down
Starting point is 00:56:04 because other people do. Right. Got you. That part. I get what you're saying. So I appreciate it. They don't. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:56:09 There's no reciprocity there. Yeah, like, dog. So next year when somebody else. Bro. I can't turn. We could go. I can't. No, you can't.
Starting point is 00:56:18 I'm a little ignorant when it comes to what's going on in the world. There's tons of countries that have been under siege for decades. It's tons of other countries that get fucking other bigger nations bullying them for they shit. But when it's a white nation that's getting bullied
Starting point is 00:56:32 for they shit, then we want to come to the forefront and make it public knowledge. I don't fuck with that. My thing with it is we've been the bully a bunch of times.
Starting point is 00:56:41 We have. And this is like, okay, now you want to, because your ops is the bully, you want to, because your opps is the bully, you want to go and point out that they were. Yeah, like that. So I stay away from the talk completely
Starting point is 00:56:51 and I think media and propaganda plays a very big role in this. We don't know what's really what, but don't shove this in my face either. So that's why I stay out of it. I didn't particularly want to see that i thought my bts hate was the one and i'm not even hating on it i'm not hating i'm not hating i'm not hating bro they are country prayers to the people that are losing their lives
Starting point is 00:57:15 all of the siege i agree all of them across the world for sure yeah but them prayers don't stop in europe you know what i'm saying like that'd be my thing like the prayers don't fucking stop but my thing but he didn't say they did no he didn't no he went up there and said yo they shoot us they bombing us with killing his kids children uh the musicians are now stationed to hospitals to sing for people that can't even hear them but the energy of the music will penetrate like i fucked with what he was saying up there. Not to take away from you guys' point. I think I understand. But yeah, man, come on. I'm with him.
Starting point is 00:57:50 If you could say this shit, then I could throw potatoes at BTS. My dead ass. This one that throw potatoes at the president of the U.S. No, it's not even that. It's not him. It's not their country. What I'm saying is he, it's not even that. It's not him. It's not their country. What I'm saying is he talked about 153 kids died.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Nigga, I seen him putting bodies in dump trucks in fucking Afghanistan, nigga. In Iraq. I seen them niggas putting bodies of kids and women in dump trucks hauling them off. So where the fuck
Starting point is 00:58:20 was they Grammy speech? Come on, man. You can't do that with me. Nah, I'm good. But again, I don't want Sirius F out and it's your platform. So I don't want you to get no
Starting point is 00:58:29 FAA violations and no bullshit. That John Batiste album. Yeah, John. Go ahead, John. Nah, for real. Confound him, boy. Confound him, boy.
Starting point is 00:58:39 You did that. Yo, you did that. Yeah, nah. Congratulations, damn. What other takeaways did I have from Lucky Day? Lucky Day got one. Hey! Yo, you did that. Yeah, nah. Congratulations, damn. What other takeaways did I have from Granny? You made a lucky day. Lucky day, got one.
Starting point is 00:58:47 Hey! Yo, lucky day is the man, yo. Well, for some of us. Some people don't really think he's the man. Don't do that, yo. Lucky day one, best progressive R&B album, right? Eric Bellinger is up there, Corey Henry. Hiatus Coyote. I'm not familiar with.
Starting point is 00:59:08 He beat that Terrence Martin project. That was a project. Shout out to Terrence Martin. Robert Glass. That was a great album. And Masego. Let me ask you a question. Do you think they divvying up the
Starting point is 00:59:24 genre on purpose or chopping it up? They do that with all the genres. It's progressive R&B. They do that with all the genres. That's old? They do that with all the genres, I'm saying. There's alternative rock. There's heavy rock.
Starting point is 00:59:36 There's melodic hip-hop. Because the genres are kind of divvying up. There's modern folk. I don't think they're doing it. The genres are. There's modern classical. They break up all the genres. Gotcha of divvying up. I don't think they're doing it. The genres are. Modern, classical. They break up all the genres. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Like it or not. I'm not mad in rap if there's a melodic rap in a rap. Because it ain't going to be on the air anyway. Well, that's it. That's it. They give the rappers all the awards. That's true. They break it up how you want and put that shit on at 4 o'clock.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Ain't nobody going to see it. Niggas is on the red carpet. Yo, you just won yo it started now i cut the tv off before justin bieber strolled his little happy ass out there thank the lord but boy did i see commentary he's he had the nerve to slow down that bullshit he slowed down that bum ass peaches record I saw them killing your man too yo Daniel Caesar they put up a clip of him on the red carpet
Starting point is 01:00:29 and said it wasn't not one I saved that video not one flash not one little camera click nothing nothing bro like you just walked out there like they ain't even yo my man get out the way please
Starting point is 01:00:45 yo it would suck right to get canceled and actually be canceled and then go home to wait out cancel culture like all of us do like oh more new stories will come out they'll forget about it and niggas just don't ever forget like you louis ck won a grammy louis ck won a Grammy. Louis C.K. won a Grammy, yo. Trying to keep my mouth shut about it. Because that's my man. That's my man. I'm just going to go on whistle. What-ish? Nothing.
Starting point is 01:01:16 That Daniel C. is on the red carpet shit is hilarious. I don't know if I should laugh at it, but that's funny. You walk out there, not one flash. Like, yo, man, move. Here we go. Daniel Caesar on the carpet. Ain't no clicks. They're just talking. They're talking about their day tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:01:34 They're talking about what they... Wait, he walks over a little bit in case they couldn't see me. Let me move over a little bit. Yeah, they just opened up a new Chick-fil-A down there on Wilshire. But he the only nigga up there Without a Grammy haircut Hairdo style Something
Starting point is 01:01:47 I didn't wanna say nothing He just up there looking all I didn't wanna say nothing Come on, look at this nigga He look like he just woke up Look like he just had a fair one Fair nigga Collar fucked up in the front and the back
Starting point is 01:01:57 I didn't wanna say nothing Nobody said last look on him Nothing Shirt too big I didn't wanna Yo, dog Look at his pants He ain't one no this is my man yo this is this is my man right here but daniel caesar his collar look crazy though the front and the back it looks like yo but looking at him right and looking at him and looking at Doja Cat run from the bathroom, like, really reminded me why awards are not fun.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Going to the awards, unless you won, like, for real won, this is not fun. It's business. For this one little moment right here, five seconds, yeah, but a lot is unseen. For this one little moment on this carpet, he had to get there early. He was getting dressed since this morning. It shows. Fuck. No, he wasn't getting dressed since this morning either.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Yes, he was. He had that shit on all day. And fell asleep in the limo. Nah, you know what happened? Because at the Grammys, all the hotels were sold out. He got dressed in the car. We all been there. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:04 It just sucks when it's a tux. That's when you got to find the little cleaners hanger in your back seat. Maybe he didn't have the cleaners hanger. He rolled that shit on us. Hey, it get tricky
Starting point is 01:03:19 that little cleaners hanger. You hit a bump. You should have just fallen on the back. Now you can't fix it and drive. Now you just look like Daniel Caesar. Yo. Yo, cancel culture.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Uncancel Daniel Caesar, yo. No. No. No, they can't. No. Leave him canceled. Y'all uncanceled the girl that y'all canceled him about. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:03:42 He jumped out and said, cancel me. All right, cool. That nigga. Be careful what you wish for't care. He jumped out and said, cancel me. Alright, cool. Be careful what you wish for, nigga. He said that to get some white pussy. I hope it was worth it. Yo. White pussies is the beginning of time that young black niggas risk their lives.
Starting point is 01:03:59 I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. It's right there. Young black niggas. Ish told us that's who he would be back in the day. He said he would risk his life to fuck masters. Masters queen.
Starting point is 01:04:14 Nobody said that. Wait, time out. You didn't say that. But while we on this topic, yo, Ish, you build houses. Tell me why we're still referring to the master bedroom as the master bedroom. Ignorant. Niggas ignorant. He got you there. You can't say shit. I'm asking him a question.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Why? Why? Why you asking me? You build houses, nigga. You ask me? The bitch is I sell houses. The term master. I collect electronics.
Starting point is 01:04:40 I've seen that one too, nigga. That's good. That's good. Both of those are staying forever. Keep going though. They didn't think about that for Joe They had 17 for you Yeah they had more They had a lot for J.O.E
Starting point is 01:04:48 You fucking did You was blind then Did y'all think of it? I mean did y'all remember it? I ain't seen one for J.O.E Joe overtalks everyone Yeah Anyway
Starting point is 01:04:58 It's cool It's alright dog It's a bunch of them It's about 30 of them That's a good one It's alright fam Yo Oh man
Starting point is 01:05:04 Why do they call the Butler's's pantry a butler's pantry? I don't know, nigga. I'm 46. But why y'all ain't changing? You can't just go on. You build houses. What you just going to say? Large bedroom?
Starting point is 01:05:15 Yeah. You could just. Sounds horrible. All right. We're still master. So let's steal all the slavery. Let's steal all the slavery terms and just apply them for 700 years. Yo, master bedroom survived 700 years.
Starting point is 01:05:30 We still run around. Master right here. And you can't explain it. I don't even know if that came from slavery, but it would be something to look at. Yo, you know what? Pull a Ukraine president back up. How can he go on that rant and then follow it with this? All right. How can he go on that rant and then follow it with this?
Starting point is 01:05:46 All right, so a John Batiste winning win. Crazy on the album. Check it out. Oh, man. Best traditional R&B performance. What else is important here? Her was going to go crazy on the performance.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Lenny Kravitz. That was bound to happen. We know what she do when she get up there. Black guitar. Anytime she perform, you know what you're talking about. That's her signature model is the silver shit.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Was it silver? Yeah. Oh, dear. It looked black. This is... The people that I... That looks black. Oh, the front of it.
Starting point is 01:06:17 The front. The front of it. Nigga, that's black. Nigga, that guitar is black. That shit black is the Ace of spades, man. That shit black. That's an old shit. I'm telling you, she's got it good.
Starting point is 01:06:29 Yo, you're not pulling up old clips. Yo, you know what? Hey, yo. Yo, yo, dawgs. You're pulling up old clips. Yo, this is the fucked up part about Lil Nas X not winning nothing. Because that's my man. I don't have nothing bad to say about him. I support him up part about Lil Nas X not winning nothing. Because that's my man. I don't have nothing bad to say about him.
Starting point is 01:06:46 I support him. I stand Lil Nas X. I fuck with how he trolls. I just fuck with his spirit. But if you're going to get up there and put on the Michael Jackson outfits while you're performing, you got to win one. Yeah. He gave you the Michael look And that shit looked good
Starting point is 01:07:06 That shit looked good That little Michael glittery shit He killing that shit He was punching the air man Tom Pumpkin That nigga was just Yo I could be a pop star
Starting point is 01:07:17 When I was looking at Lil Nas X I was feeling inspired Like I could be a pop star You can still do it man Cause all he was doing was Everybody dance behind him And when the drum beat Just doing Bam Bam Bam I could be a part of it. Just don't do it, man. Because all he was doing was everybody dance behind him, and when the drum beat just threw
Starting point is 01:07:25 him, bam, bam, bam. Yo, please, I just need somebody to send me that. Fuck you. Send me that video. What other takeaways do we have from the Grammys? Come on, I'm having a good time now. I think we're Grammy'd out. Yeah, we're Grammy'd out, man.

I would never understand it.

Nah, he be smoking that music. All right then, what the fuck does it matter if need to know that? Do you like his music? Nah, he be smoking that music. All right, then. What the fuck does it matter if he got a kid or not? And if that's the source of the great music, then I choose me, nigga. I'll never see a kid.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Hey, if I choose a kid having a great dad or me getting the slaps, sorry. See, that's a joke. It's a joke. It's a joke rule. And my worst fear has been confirmed with all this Will Smith smack stuff. As if we hadn't heard enough from August Alsina, he popped right back up.
Starting point is 01:15:35 No. He popped right. You knew he was. You knew he was. You lying. And that's what he should have thought about when he smacked that nigga. Like, yo, what if the nigga I'm really waiting to smack just start talking again? Then I got to smack him twice. You might not be waiting to smack just start talking again and I gotta smack him twice?
Starting point is 01:15:46 I gotta smack him twice. August, you getting a good one when he see you. What did August say? Tommy Davidson came out and said, hey,

And by addressing Meg as you. Because you're not allowed to address her or speak to her or on her in any way. Directly. No, you can speak on him.
Starting point is 01:17:17 You can't address her in any way, shape, or form. And so he said, yo, something about good dick had me fucking two best friends and now see how you spin it. So when he said how you spin it, that is directed toward Matt. And the judge said, get locked up over a tweet. So they told you to spin
Starting point is 01:17:35 your dumb ass around and put your hands behind your back. Get locked up over a tweet is a motherfucker. Well, I'm certain he's going to post this bail. They said he already in the process of posting it. But no, the gangster shit is the prosecutor. Well, I'm certain he's going to post this bail. They said he already posted it. He's already in the process of posting it.
Starting point is 01:17:46 But no, the gangster shit is the prosecutor. But that is an expensive tweet. Dog, the prosecutor tried to get him to hold him without bail or a $5 million bail. That's what they proposed to the judge, a $5 million bail. But the judge said it at $350. Now, imagine if they said $5 million. Sit up for a minute my nigga or assets or assets no all assets now what it's not worth it dog chill the fuck out you're gonna get
Starting point is 01:18:13 your day this social media shit they can't leave it alone bro yeah i think it's something about and i'm not trying to age us out but i think it's something about the under 30 crowd where they kind of grew up with this shit in their life they don't know a world outside it so they cannot stay off of it they they have to just whatever they feeling they might fight it it just has to get on there one way or another but he could have not tweeted that it's very i know it sounds easy for us to say we older we talked with lotto and she was saying how hard it is for her to not go off on people on social media i'm shutting up during the topic i've literally taunted the police twitter page when they were looking for me you did you know you know what happened for days cory had to come downstairs and there were no

Starting point is 01:20:19 mean shit word a lot of them think oh i just deleted that i'm good yo you're not good bro if you put it out on the internet in any capacity it's out there y'all know that should have saved the elon musk server even if you delete it even if you didn't own twitter it's time boy i miss the days when you could call your girl's phone service provider and they would tell you the whole text. They would keep the text on file. Who the fuck changed that? A girl I bet. Who thought the... Never mind, yo.
Starting point is 01:20:54 I'm not judging. Sounded judgy. No, I said never mind. I just, I don't get that. Yo, y'all got gavels in the back. In a robe. I got a robe back there. Man, you different. Who knows that you could do that? Why do you?

Starting point is 01:21:16 What are you talking about? I told you exactly what I found. No. I hate when he act like he wasn't there for nothing. I forgot. But listen. Yeah. I didn't know you could. She was getting her shit off in them tapes. I hate when he act like he wasn't there for nothing I forgot but listen I didn't know you could she was getting her shit off in them texts
Starting point is 01:21:28 so wait I hate when you look for something and find it which is why I don't look I hate when you look for something and find that shit right there it was the third text they didn't even have the search bar and that's why I don't look I don't look i don't
Starting point is 01:21:45 want to find that shit fam they read that to you over the phone sue the shit out of them well they stopped doing that now it must have got sued it was your fault it was your fault i hope no one got hurt after finding out that information think about that dog yeah that's kind of crazy say yo you gotta stop that nigga. Joe keep calling here too much. So what'd you do? Call him, pretend to be? It don't matter. I'm done because I got to know how you thought to even do some shit like that, yo.
Starting point is 01:22:14 That nigga was nice. It took him a minute, though. No team, no sleep. Yo, I know that today in 2022, this sounds like what the fuck was going on. Joe, not for nothing, that sounds nuts in 2012 to me. I'm not calling the phone provider. In 2006. It sounds nuts then too for me.
Starting point is 01:22:32 For me. How old are you in 2006? What was that? Like a bad guy. No, I don't even remember. I was in my 20s. You still don't know. No, I know. I'm not saying I lie about my age all the time. But you were remember. I was like, I was in my 20s. You still don't know? No, I know.
Starting point is 01:22:45 I'm not saying, I lie about my age all the time. But you were 22. I was 29. Yeah, but you couldn't get the lie math right? No. I know my age. Because of the lie math, he would have been a teenager. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:22:56 I couldn't get the lie math right. I got it, I got it, I got it. I didn't get the lie math. Well, that's what was going on back then. It's fine. Maybe it was just me. What else is happening now? It's funny. Everything is funny now. Y'all. Maybe it was just me. What else is happening now? It's funny.
Starting point is 01:23:05 Everything is funny now. Y'all got me in a silly mood. That's weird, bro. Allen, I don't care about this shit. Get out of here. We'll get to that later, bro. What else is funny? Let me see.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Let me see. Let me see. In D.C. Rapper in D.C. passed away. That's not funny. Thoughts and prayers of his family. They had his body, embalming body,
Starting point is 01:23:29 dressed and posted up in the club while they were jamming. That's lit. And I wouldn't have been invested in this story until I found out it was Bliss.
Starting point is 01:23:37 Like, niggas, go to Bliss. What you thought it was? I mean, some little rinky-dink club. I didn't know it was a club, like a popular club that we frequent or go to or have been to a lot. Like Bliss, y'all doing that in?
Starting point is 01:23:51 Nah, it's lit. I don't see the problem with that. Me either. I do not see the problem with this at all. Y'all go to a funeral home and see the same thing. The dress and bomb body and your people go and celebrate you in any way they can. His people had the dress and bomb body on display at a place where they wanted to celebrate him at. I don't see the problem.
Starting point is 01:24:11 I wouldn't want to personally partake in that type of event, but I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad at it. That's what they chose to do. That was his people. I saw somebody from Bliss put something out saying that, hey, we just rented out The space to whoever What their decision was to do with it
Starting point is 01:24:28 So this was something that his people Decided yo we gonna have the wake here Technically I'm not mad at that I've seen wild shit I've seen people in a recliner I've seen people on motorcycles and cars I've seen it all How you choose to mourn and celebrate
Starting point is 01:24:43 Your past people is up to y'all so if you just the bottle girl and you just put your elbow right there what happens you just it was sectioned off
Starting point is 01:24:55 you catching a breather it was sectioned off I saw it it was a joke I know fam I think I'm trying to let you reply
Starting point is 01:25:05 because you articulate better than me I just want to I want to tell these niggas that they stupid you have a decomposing body no he's involved no he's involved
Starting point is 01:25:15 they're still decomposing it slows the process he's wearing a miri they dressed him up they dressed him up I know I seen it they put a crown on him I saw all of that
Starting point is 01:25:24 they didn't let me die in peace. The only weird part is like, how did they get him to like stay like this? Oh shit, they put fireworks around him. There's something hooked up to the back with the drape. They hooked him up.
Starting point is 01:25:33 Yeah, there's something there. You can see it. Yeah, the devil. Fuck is you talking? Whose idea do you think this was? The devil walked in right in there.
Starting point is 01:25:44 Hey, yo, get the fuck out in there. Hey, yo. We can't do a podcast like this. Hey, yo. Can we take a break? What the fuck is wrong with you, yo? All right. We're back.
Starting point is 01:25:58 I don't want to ask y'all, specifically Ice and Parks, what y'all think about this. Let me try to reframe it. Let's do it. Y'all pass. Yeah. God forbid, of course, knock on marble. I mean, it's going to happen eventually.
Starting point is 01:26:10 We don't have to, you know what I mean? But hopefully it doesn't happen soon. Yeah, later than soon. But y'all perish. I somehow outlast y'all. Wow, that would be crazy. And I call y'all parents,
Starting point is 01:26:23 yo, listen, man, this nigga, I used to love the Apple store. wow that would be crazy and I called y'all parents yo listen man this nigga I used to love the Apple store his whole whole life was dedicated to those products
Starting point is 01:26:32 like yo he told me one day he want he want to short hills mall take me to
Starting point is 01:26:38 American Dream at least I gotta do it big nigga do rich people over there you think I'm carrying a bucket of ass around
Starting point is 01:26:44 where you want short hills nigga you going to Hudson Mall in Jersey City I got to do it big. They can do rich people over there. You think I'm carrying a bucket of crap? Where you want your L's, nigga? You go into Hudson Mall in Jersey City. You go into Newport. You go to the outlets, Westchester. Oh, man. Okay, I want to hear it. What you think your mom, what you think your mom just said? They hang up on me, right?
Starting point is 01:27:00 Yeah, if you suggest taking me to the Apple store, yeah. Well, no, you wouldn't go. You would go to Sam Ash. Yeah, that's true ash that's true yeah guitar center yeah put me right there and you're too tall to be hanging up somewhere dead with some pumas or some black jeans i can't believe i want to be what i'm saying is you're saying it's okay if that's how they decided to mourn yeah then go ahead exactly that's what i'm saying that was his that was his wish, that might have been his wish. We saw a video a couple months ago where dudes bust into the funeral home and snatch the casket out with the deceased gentleman in there. And everybody thought it was one of those, oh, it's ops did that.
Starting point is 01:27:39 And then the story comes out was, no, that was his people. He didn't fuck with his family like that. And they went to give him a street funeral which is what they all wanted they all said like even the deceased gentleman like this is what i want they honoring him in the way like he was a gang member and this was the way that they did things like yeah this is what was decided i'm not mad at that. I'm speaking as a club goer. Like, hey, mourn how you want to mourn. If I walk in the club, I was mad looking at the footage when Kanye grabbed the mic at that L.A. club and just started talking for three hours. Imagine I walk in and y'all got a nigga hung up in a Miri that's dead.
Starting point is 01:28:22 No, I'm not going to the bar. I'm not going to the bathroom. I'm not talking to no girl that's in here. Look, look no i'm not going to the bar i'm not going to the bathroom i'm not talking to no girl that's in here look look i'm reading this his mother spoke to fox and said this is how they wanted to celebrate his life and she don't understand that's how he wanted to go out we wanted to celebrate his life turning up and having a party with your parents in agreeance with that and your people then i'm judging your parents to? I judge, but that's how they want to mourn. That's up to them. It's a lot of people
Starting point is 01:28:48 that don't believe in all that church and feel like the way, the traditional way. I said nothing about church. I'm not saying, Joe, I'm not saying that. But the traditional way
Starting point is 01:28:56 would have been to have a wake at either a funeral home or a church and a service following. A lot of people don't believe in that no more. Fam, you could have hung him up in your living room and had everybody come by there. they wanted to do it this way and obviously his friends and
Starting point is 01:29:11 all his people because they was there turning up with him this is the way they wanted to pay their respects to this person i saw some sad faces i don't know if i want to and i want to be respectful yeah me too i just left the funeral I was at a funeral on Thursday and I couldn't have been in there yeah let me just I'ma keep it a buck with you
Starting point is 01:29:31 nigga like I was in a funeral on Thursday and I was distraught I could barely walk I don't want to be in no motherfucking place hearing Jeezy
Starting point is 01:29:39 like I've been to a funeral in Jersey City um no no no it's nothing bad. Like, she was loved, older woman, she was loved by everybody out there. And at her services, everyone that got up there and spoke and was like, if y'all knew Joanne, we ain't sad in here. We turning up. And literally, it was in a church, but it was a party in the church.
Starting point is 01:30:03 Everybody jumping, clapping, celebrating. I'm not mad at all. But again, everybody don't want to be in a church but it was a party in the church everybody jumping clapping celebrating i'm not mad at all and but again everybody don't want to be in the church to do that now his people like i said his mom is included so it ain't like it's a the family didn't know what was going on no your mom is included we're taking you where you want it to go this is the way we want to do this and your people is here celebrating you and i don't see the problem then i think that if that somebody should have known or should have said hey let's take the phones away so this is i agree well that's true i agree i want you there the universe or we gonna rent the space out our way this is our way yeah that's my thing like if we've rented it the whole entire club we've the whole entire space, and it was just me and my family and the people that I fuck with there, then that's one thing.
Starting point is 01:30:50 But if it was open to the public. Did I break my hand, nigga? Yo, shake my hand softer than that, man. That's a little. The fuck? That's a little crazy to me. Now, I will say, to what y'all said about the phones and shit, yo, it's funerals broadcasted live on Facebook in the church. True.
Starting point is 01:31:10 Today, it's a little different. That's true. I'm with people celebrating however they want to be celebrated and however their people want to celebrate. If your family... Whatever's helping you with your grief. People across the world, different religions, do all types of shit that we would call quote unquote weird. So I'm not going to judge you. I'm not knocking that.
Starting point is 01:31:25 I stand corrected. Especially when your family and your people are all there. It ain't like the moms who didn't know and everybody had a problem. If your family got a problem with it, I get it. But all your people is here
Starting point is 01:31:35 in support of this. Who am I to say something wrong about that? Y'all more than y'all person how y'all feel like it in the morning. If y'all were in the venue for just y'all. You seen the New Orleans funeral? If I'm a regular club goer, I don't want to be going to the club. y'all feel like if y'all if y'all were in the venue for just y'all you seen the New Orleans funeral if I'm a regular club
Starting point is 01:31:46 go I don't want to be going to the club I'm calling the Department of Human Services on the whole club health I'm calling somebody to come in here
Starting point is 01:31:54 and investigate yeah y'all you stupid man but nah but I understand what y'all are saying yeah people choose look at the
Starting point is 01:32:02 New Orleans funeral right like man that's a full celebration. They marching and parading down the street. This is what people do to mourn their loss of life. And I think Club Bliss should not allow people to do that. Like, I'm not putting it on the family. I'm not putting it on the family.
Starting point is 01:32:21 Mourn how you want to mourn. Y'all are right. No, they said they didn't know. Yeah, they didn't know. They just rented the venue and didn't know what they were doing with it. That's y'all fault. I agree with that too.
Starting point is 01:32:30 They fault. They should know what their venue is being rented out for. A party. And that's what they're going to ask you. Bliss was contacted by a local funeral home to rent out our venue for Gunu's homegoing celebration.
Starting point is 01:32:46 Bliss was never made aware of what would transpire. Shut up. The funeral home contacted you for a home. At some point, the question, hey, where can we put the body? Yeah. Had to have come up. If they're saying this is for the homegoing celebration because certain people, there's too many people attending to have it in a in a small
Starting point is 01:33:05 so now we're gonna go get a venue okay we get a venue you know we got a dj no no no no i'm just saying like we look at look at rest in peace look at nips um homegrown service that was in staples center now the body wasn't propped up so that's what i think they mean by we were never made aware of what would transpire we could think that the casket is going to be present on the stage somewhere and you need a space to have enough people here to mourn him that's what i'm saying their way of doing it had bliss no i don't think that's just a good optic for business to have a dead body propped up and now it's all over the internet yeah it shouldn't be all over the internet and don't think about this No pun intended. That's dead weight.
Starting point is 01:33:47 That shit is hard to hold up, my nigga. They had to make some adjustments for that body to just stand up there like that. That shit ain't just sitting up there like that. No, it ain't just propping up in the corner or nothing. Nah, that's hard to do, nigga. That's tight and anchored to something. They got him up there like Pac in the Smile video. I think that was Smile. Like, nah.
Starting point is 01:34:06 Rest in peace to this gentleman. Yeah, rest in peace to the gentleman. Do we know how he died? I don't know. Well, I would like to know. This is him right here? Guna, shot and killed. Damn.
Starting point is 01:34:26 See, and that's the other thing. And then I'll leave this. If he was shot and if anybody was shot and killed, I'm not propping them up in a club so that niggas can come here and shoot the dead body up. I have to think that way if you are shot and killed. Today's society, niggas can come here and shoot the dead body up. I have to think that way if you are shot and killed. Today's society. Niggas doing dumb shit.
Starting point is 01:34:49 Yo, niggas is going by the funerals lighting it up. Yeah, that's true. Yo, we're going to kill you, man. And when y'all show up trying to show your little love, we coming by and we spraying that too. So now you're going to come to the club. It's club bliss. I'm thinking anybody can get in.
Starting point is 01:35:01 Whatever, man. Rest in peace to Gunu. Gunu is horrible. Horrible story, nonetheless. What else is important? Did you guys see Jurok Carmichael's
Starting point is 01:35:13 special? I did. Did you see it? I watched half of it. I fell asleep. That shit was funny as hell. You watched it? I did.
Starting point is 01:35:22 What you thought? I thought it was good. It was a different good good but i like different good yeah for sure it wasn't it was a it was a typical stand-up although it had its moments i like that style of stand-up where it's intimate and a biographical almost yeah saying something more than just jokes yes yes i'm not mad at that that. I'm not mad at that. The last, uh, Starrashit? Mm-hmm. I didn't think so. No? I, unless,
Starting point is 01:35:48 I'm talking about a different one. I might have missed one, yeah. The last one of him that I saw was not like that. Well, I didn't see the last one. It was hilarious. But I'm just saying, the way you describe it
Starting point is 01:35:57 is what I took away from it. How it started is how it ended. What you saw. Okay. Like, it was calm the whole way through. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:06 Um, he came out. He did. What you mean came out? He came out. He's gay. He came out. He said, I'm gay. Oh, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 01:36:17 And he did what I thought was a genius piece around being gay in the family. Yeah. He was good, but... Talk about his father cheating. Yeah. Yeah. It was good, but. Talk about his father cheating. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:27 His, his, that little, his secrets bit. This was well-written. It was only an hour. It was only an hour. I'm not mad at an hour when it's well-written, but when he came out, I wasn't certain if he was joking or not because I'm watching a standup. And it seemed like the audience was unsure
Starting point is 01:36:46 too until he just continued to drive the point home and stayed on it. But I was like, well, damn, if I come out, I would want you to know I'm serious. But then the more I thought about it, I was like, man, what a dope way to do that. And what a pickup
Starting point is 01:37:04 for the gays. This is a good fucking pickup Gerard Carmichael. He's looking like a million bucks up there. No he's up there looking fucking
Starting point is 01:37:12 yo niggas come out and start looking better. Look at him. He did SNL that night too? Niggas can't start shining more? I came out in the closet I got more blackheads.
Starting point is 01:37:26 My body was like alright you right, you gay, you ugly too now, nigga. Have fun bagging them. Y'all should watch this, though. That shit was funny. I'm hishing ice. I don't want to ruin those jokes, but those pause jokes were fucking hilarious, bro. Yeah, no, that was funny. I lost my shit laughing.
Starting point is 01:37:42 That was funny. Yo. Dog. That shit was funny. Hosted my shit laughing. That was funny. Dog. That shit was funny. Hosted SNL. SNL. And he was playing into that shit. He was like, yo, they wouldn't have cared if I didn't come out.
Starting point is 01:37:54 He was playing into all that shit. Look how much better he looks now that he came out. Like, as a straight guy, I can't pull off the suit. I think that's ball mask. Beautiful. The suit with no shirt underneath the blazer. I don't think a straight black man could do it. Nas was at the Grammys looking amazing, and I thought he did it, but he had tank top on underneath the blazer.
Starting point is 01:38:14 The no shirt under the blazer, that's hard, man. He looks good. What-ish. I just said what? You looking at me like if I come out the house in a blazer with no shirt underneath that it ain't gonna be the sauciest move in the world
Starting point is 01:38:27 not saying nothing my brother you good why cause it's my platform no you tried it though couple times you think I tried you no you
Starting point is 01:38:36 you had your little pork chop meat hanging out couple times oh no I do that I know they like that shit yeah in the tank top baggy tank tops he was wearing who I know. They like that shit, don't they? Yeah, in the tank top.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Baggy tank tops he was wearing. Who they? You said they like it. I just don't know who they is. The guys and girls. Yo, stop your shit. You almost got you, too, son. That shit was great, though.
Starting point is 01:38:57 Watch it. It was hilarious. Yeah, check it out. I'd love to talk about it more in depth, but these guys didn't see it. When y'all see it, maybe we'll come back to it. Maybe not. Yeah, we can rock with it. I'll finish it. When y'all see it, maybe we'll come back to it. Maybe not.
Starting point is 01:39:05 Yeah, we'll rock with it. I'll finish it. Shout out to Gerard Carmichael. And it's a quick watch. Yeah. I'm not mad at our special. I'm a hand monster writer anyway, so I'm sure it was on. I miss his show.
Starting point is 01:39:17 The TV show he had. What show was it? Gerard Carmichael's show. Don't think I've seen it. Shouldn't have named it after. No? I don't think so. That show was great. I ain't saying nothing. I've ever seen it. Shouldn't have named it after himself. No? I don't think so. That show was great.
Starting point is 01:39:28 I ain't saying nothing. I name everything after myself. You don't say. You don't say. I ain't saying a word. Not you. All right, I want to talk about Kanye dropping out of Coachella, but before I do that, I want to introduce Surf,
Starting point is 01:39:42 our unofficial fifth mic. I feel like there should be some round of applause or something for Surf. Come on, man. Get Surf low. Yeah, you don't get an intro song, but you do get like a round of applause. That's all I need. That's just going to be a drop. Once you get a drop, that's it.
Starting point is 01:39:55 That's it. Yeah, yeah. Now, Surf is here. I'm highly impressed at niggas that match turquoise the way that he has today. Like, this guy is getting a different type of. Oh, no, you see the bag he walked in with? No, he's getting a different type of. The bag matches the fit, too.
Starting point is 01:40:11 Yeah, come on, man. This nigga's getting money. Hey, Joe. Nigga got his whole hairline in the front. That's how you know he's feeling good. He's still got waves. Like, that's still a thing. Surf, how you doing, man?
Starting point is 01:40:24 I'm doing great. How y'all doing? We real good, man. Real good. Good to see you. I'm glad to see still a thing. Surf, how you doing, man? I'm doing great. How y'all doing? We real good, man. Real good. Good to see you. I'm glad to see my guys good. Good to see you. It's always great to see Surf, man.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Yeah. I won't talk about the last time. I feel like we're family now. We've been family, nigga. No, we've been family, but like a pothead family. I feel like I'm a part of this family now. I told you, you got to get a drop. Yeah, prematurely, but I do feel like we're family.
Starting point is 01:40:44 I mean, it's sprung up on me, but it's cool. I feel like you're here as a part of the Joe Budden mentorship program to keep you safe from the streets. Again? You brought it back? Yeah, no. Yeah, no, again. Again, got to fucking keep him out.
Starting point is 01:40:55 I think I've rehabbed. I can't even send him to do a little battle real quick. I was like, oh, yeah, I'm back, yeah. I was like two years removed. Yeah, no, it's fine. Look, reoccurring. He's a reoccurring visitor here at the mentorship program um all right but we're gonna kick it because who knew that surf knew how to pod i didn't know that you're pretty good man
Starting point is 01:41:12 that mentorship program it's developed some players it's developed some players now hello hello hey all right kanye is not at Coachella anymore I love it scramble for a headliner I told y'all to tell Billie Eilish to apologize to me and she has not done that matter of fact she was rather arrogant when we spoke y'all should have pressed the issue some more I never got it I'm Kanye y'all see what I've been
Starting point is 01:41:38 on for the last six months so yeah I'm out and Travis Scott as well and I told y'all to text me back when I said Travis is performing and y'all just let it sit
Starting point is 01:41:50 for too long so no now I'm out of here yeah I like this I support this I do this is recognizing
Starting point is 01:41:58 your power saying fuck y'all is it separate instances or like they went as a unit like they left together it was Kanye West who said
Starting point is 01:42:06 I'm bringing Travis with me and I said man my nigga's not coming Travis was an original headliner if I'm not mistaken then he had the Astroworld tragedy
Starting point is 01:42:14 he was cancelled then they had to scramble for a replacement Ye was one of those replacements I think here y'all google it
Starting point is 01:42:23 you damn self and he said as a caveat I'm bringing Travis out still cause that's my here. Y'all Google it you damn self. And he said as a caveat I'm bringing Travis out still because that's my man and y'all not going to treat us like this. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:42:31 You know the story. That's rules. All right, cool. I don't come out. How do y'all feel? React. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 01:42:40 I love it. I love it. Yo, fuck y'all. All you big companies like no nigga I don't need you. So I'm out of it. And not only am I out my man I love it. I love it. Yo, fuck y'all. All you big companies are like, no, nigga, I don't need you. So I'm out of it. And not only am I out, my man is out too. Now y'all figure it out.
Starting point is 01:42:52 This is recognizing your power. Yo, you need me more than I need you. Kanye don't need Coachella. Somebody present an opposing opinion so we can argue. I don't know if I have one. I don't have one either. Is Coachella really important? Yes. It's the biggest festival. Not for him. Not for him, no. That's what I'm saying. I don't know if I have one I don't have one is Coachella really important like at this point yes
Starting point is 01:43:06 this is the biggest festival not for him not for him no that's what I'm saying not for him it's probably the most biggest name brand
Starting point is 01:43:12 in festivals it might I don't know in this country Roland Lyle might have something to say about that today Roland Lyle
Starting point is 01:43:20 bigger than Coachella today I'm talking about they might have something to say about that I don't know sorry. I don't know. Sorry. Okay.
Starting point is 01:43:27 I don't know, y'all. Okay. Okay. Sorry, buddy. Okay. I'm going to roll it out. I'm sorry, guys. I'm going to roll it out.
Starting point is 01:43:32 Okay. I'm a super-duper roll it out. I'm sorry. Oh, okay. I said they might. They don't, though. And if you needed to look at the lineups one more time just so you could reassure yourself that they don't that they don't.
Starting point is 01:43:45 They don't. It's a little different. Coachella looking for a headliner is very different from Rolling Loud looking for a headliner. They are serving
Starting point is 01:43:55 two entirely different audiences. One had Beyonce on stage pregnant. Yeah, that's Coachella, right? That's Coachella. One had a**hack. But not like comparing but nothing.
Starting point is 01:44:04 Bleep that out One hand Nothing What he said Beyonce was at Coachella Asian Doll said She woke up out of sleep The other night
Starting point is 01:44:12 And called Vaughn I'm asking you a question That's what she tweeted She did say that shit She tweeted She said Hey y'all the same niggas That say you can't tell nobody how to mourn.
Starting point is 01:44:27 You can't. You're right. You're right. Look when you trap a nigga against their own opinions. All right. Wait, you can't tell nobody how to mourn? No, you can't. You can't tell nobody how to mourn.
Starting point is 01:44:39 No, you can't. Or how to tweet. No, you can't if I came in here and told y'all I woke up the other night in cold sweats and called prodigy y'all would
Starting point is 01:44:53 insert me in a house somewhere yes we would y'all would call my mom especially see I'm not gonna it's fine
Starting point is 01:45:01 come on we can move on yeah can we move on let's move on Joe on bullshit nah it's fine come on I just thought of that on. Yeah, can we move on? Let's move on. Joe on bullshit. No, I'm fine. It's fine. Come on.
Starting point is 01:45:06 I just thought of that. Yo, y'all want to talk about what Anthony Davis said? Yo, we got some Laker fans here. Live it up. Live it up. Let's talk about that. We got two Laker fans here. Yo, we got two Laker fans here.
Starting point is 01:45:17 You're not about to get me excited. First of all, let's be clear. You're not about to get me excited about a Laker conversation. It's not. Anthony Davis said, we would have been better if. I don't like the we in the statement. excited About a Laker conversation That's not Anthony Davis said We would have been better if I don't like the we In the statement That I'm a Laker fan
Starting point is 01:45:29 He ain't French At all Fuck out of here At all He said I think The biggest thing Or the biggest thing That I think about this personally
Starting point is 01:45:36 Is that we Would have been Right If we would have stayed healthy all year He was the most non-healthy Motherfucker on the roster He just said Yo if niggas would have been healthy, he's niggas.
Starting point is 01:45:47 He is niggas, though. And that's why if I'm Russell Westbrook. He only played 22 games. If I'm Russell Westbrook, I'll smack the shit out of Anthony Davis, yo. Because I'm out here really taking all the hits. They killing me in the media. Hey, I ain't never been the nigga to go out here and just. Russell Westbrook's a big name.
Starting point is 01:46:03 Anthony Davis is a big name. Anthony Davis is home, going to meet up, link up with Drake and LeBron at fucking Carbone. Fam, your nickname is Street Clothes. That nigga's nickname is Street Clothes. What are we talking about? The nigga... I just couldn't believe he said this. Nigga step on his pinky toe, he'd be out for six days.
Starting point is 01:46:20 We don't need to... Nobody want to hear that shit. Wait, he said, you know know me, LeBron, Kendrick Nunn. Wait, huh? Excuse me? I see what you just tried to do there, you sneaky mother.
Starting point is 01:46:32 And LeBron plays like he is 30. He plays. LeBron out there chasing the scoring title. He's the baby. Hey, Kareem, you're going to pay
Starting point is 01:46:42 for that shit you said. We ain't going to talk about it. We ain't going to talk about it. Kareem, you're going to pay for that shit you said. We ain't going to talk about it. We ain't going to talk about it. Kareem Wilder, Dr. Sabian head for playing. Oh, shit. Yo. Wait, what did you say? What's wrong with you?
Starting point is 01:46:55 What did you just say, yo? I caught him. They got the same shape head, bro. Like, they got bald head, big ears, bro. He look like. Hey, Kareem. Believe that. But look, he look like Dr. Sabian a little bit.
Starting point is 01:47:08 Kareem. Believe that, but look, he look like Dr. Xavier a little bit. Kareem. Yo, can we please move on? No, hold up. Rest in peace to Dr. Kareem. Kareem apologized an hour later. I think his phone rang. His phone was off though. I love when people exert that silent power. That's why I fuck with Tom Brady so much.
Starting point is 01:47:23 Tom Brady said, Bruce Arian, you have been nothing but a staple here and the strides you've made for diversity. But it's time for your hold. I couldn't have done this without. Thank you so much for your time. You've been a class act through several generations. I couldn't have. I love you. Bruce was like, yeah, but drills, drills.
Starting point is 01:47:43 Do LeBron not say. Hold on. In real life- All right, go. Your dog, your Duke. Hey, Bruce, your time has come. Pack the lock up. You getting the fuck out of here on my orders.
Starting point is 01:47:56 I've done this to you. I'm sending- You got to go. The whole office. Your little playbook. Clean it all up. No, get that too. I told you that I didn't like how you did Antonio Brown.
Starting point is 01:48:06 Man, you kind of been at odds. And I told you I was going to get the better of this. I did it in New England. What make you think you any different? Yeah, you got to go. If it's me or you, it's me. So take a hike. Hey, and you can say that you resigned.
Starting point is 01:48:21 You retired. Some personal issues. You retired. COVID. Permanent COVID. Yo, yo. I got COVID for the next six years. resigned you retired some personal issues you retired yeah COVID permanent COVID yo yo I got COVID for the next six years
Starting point is 01:48:29 shit is crazy that's how that really went same thing what was he just talking about LeBron yeah same same thing not LeBron

I didn't see the last one. I seen that at the very end of the last one. God, you're missing out, Parks. Nah, I'm sorry.

Starting point is 01:51:51 About 450? No, but, nah, about 425. But this is a common fight that Ish and I have had for ages. What's up? Ish say, yo, you are a rapper. You have advantages. I would love for you to be a civilian so you can see what it's like on the other side and while that's true
Starting point is 01:52:09 I argue being a rapper also inserts you with disadvantages stereotypes women that have embedded it in their brain allegedly I will not date a rapper I won't fuck a rapper
Starting point is 01:52:24 rappers are cheating, lying pieces of shit. I don't believe that shit. I'm right in the middle, so I can answer this question. Yeah, no, it is. Come on. I don't believe that shit. I'm right in the middle, bro. Sir, tell him, please, yo.

I'm talking about the probability of Joe being a celebrity and a public figure and the girls that we are talking about that particularly only date public figures and celebrities. That's cat.
Starting point is 01:53:39 But you assume that as a non-celebrity. No, I got eyes, nigga. What you mean? I'm telling you as a celebrity that that there are some that will not all right some girls be like no you play ball i'm out of here i'm not fucking with that i know what comes along with that take you seriously because of that occupation or because of their predisposed beliefs you are correct they ain't even in that life and they just got beliefs now about certain rap beliefs that women just... You're an entertainer.
Starting point is 01:54:06 You're an athlete. I'm not fucking with you. For a long time, women, much like podcasting today, but for a long time, if you weren't a top five or a ten name in rap,
Starting point is 01:54:16 they just assumed you to be a broke loser anyway. True. That's true. Like women wasn't up on an independent game or the mixtape king It didn't stop you
Starting point is 01:54:23 from getting pussy. It didn't give out none of that. It did't stop you from getting pussy. It didn't give out none of that. It did not stop you from getting pussy. But I was getting pussy before I ever knew that I could be a rapper. No, you weren't. The fuck are you talking about? No, you weren't. When you lost your virginity.
Starting point is 01:54:36 I was 14. And so from 14 to 19, you had what? I was not rapping. You were rapping at 20. I didn't know I could rhyme a word. You were rapping at 20. But I was getting pussy at 14. You tried to play me less for wine. No, I'm not doing that. I'm saying. You said no. I didn't know I could rhyme a word. You were rapping at 20. But I was getting pussy at 14. You tried to play me less for wine.
Starting point is 01:54:47 I didn't like how you did that. I'm not doing that. I'm saying from 14 to 20, don't act like you was just out here busting them down. Ish. At 14, I lost my virginity. Cool. It wasn't the most pleasurable experience, right? And that was in North Carolina at school.
Starting point is 01:55:02 Like every other board in school, I went in there. The school pop did what I had to do listen she fucking opened the condom and unzipped my shit and put the condom on with her mouth
Starting point is 01:55:11 I'll never forget it no hands at 14? I was 14 she was not oh she was 16 oh man
Starting point is 01:55:19 16? 16 doing that? yeah I feel like 16 I don't want 16 no hands. Putting a condom on with their mouth? That was a school pop, right?
Starting point is 01:55:30 I think y'all have these kids fucked up. Yeah, but we talking about this. Joe, we talking about 27 years ago. Who do y'all think paved the way for the kids today? Yes, that was what was going on. Who paved the way? She had to be the jump. You trying to say my grandmother?
Starting point is 01:55:43 You really saying it's my grandmother put a condom on? Yo, you know what's interesting about this? For me, I can't speak to nobody else, but for me, most of the women
Starting point is 01:55:53 I've been with have been more experienced and more comfortable sexually than a lot of men. I believe most men are not comfortable sexually.
Starting point is 01:56:04 Women are way comfortable sexually women are way more women are the ones that are really exploring and enjoying this in a way differently than men because of our man shit right so yeah y'all talking about the age but at 14 i was trying to learn what my dick does at 16 she was well aware of mine and a few other dicks on campus. I think the average female doesn't even end up with what they like sexually, period. You said they what? I think the average female does not end up with what they like sexually, period, anyway. Because, you know, at some point you get to an age where, and I'm just assuming, obviously, as a woman, you get to an age where what matters is living, livelihood, my comfortability, and it's never the person that's fucking you good.
Starting point is 01:56:48 To me, I just seem like that's what it always looked like. You know what I mean? The little high school. Remember back in high school, the bad chick? I look up now, she go with the guy from Cablevision. I'm like, ah, he probably pays half the bills and he does what he has to. But I'm sure that's not the dude that was skinning her like how she wanted to be. Did you just say skinning?
Starting point is 01:57:03 Yeah. You know, whooping, skinning, cooking. There's a couple of things, man. I'll slide the dictionary to you. I think, I think. Did you just say skinning? Yeah, you know, whooping, skinning, cooking. There's a couple things, man. I'll slide the dictionary to you. I mean,
Starting point is 01:57:08 we'll talk about that later. Oh my Lord. Nah, I think he right. I think, I think. The average female, if we went on consensus.
Starting point is 01:57:13 I don't want to skin anything. If we went on consensus, I think that that's like, it's a complacent type of, this is my husband. I enjoy our sex. This isn't who been. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:23 You know what I mean? This ain't who cooking my shit. Yeah, this ain't Raheem. Raheem ain't got no job. Come on, this not who cooked my shit. He's probably locked up. Yeah, yeah. Raheem ain't got no job. But I think for a lot of women... Tad over here pays half the bills. I'm not speaking for women. My kids love him. We got one kid together. My kid, his
Starting point is 01:57:38 kid plays together. They know each other. I agree. You know what I mean? We have to do this. He's not Raheem. And if you want to keep it a buck, Raheem be the side nigga that really be busting you down. Because you've been with that for 20 years. You can't tell him what you really want to do. But Raheem over here is putting his thumb in your butt and he pulling your hair. Oh my lord.
Starting point is 01:57:59 You've been with him forever. The women be way more wilder than the men do. And they can't tell they do that because they do be insecure. Because the way that we met was on a premise of your girlfriend, your woman, your purity. Your purity and your innocence. So I have to be this certain. Raheem know me from slapping me in my face and spitting on me and stuff like that. So this is actually what I like. But I can't tell you that.
Starting point is 01:58:20 You can't tell him. Because you pay half the bills. You might not look at me like a woman. A consensual slap in the face. A consensual slap in the face. Yeah, like a, ha, slap me. You know, like that. No, or the bills. You might not look at me like a woman. A consensual slap in the face. A consensual slap in the face. Yeah, like a, ha, slap me. You know, like that. No, or the dick slap.
Starting point is 01:58:29 They like that too? They do. Holy shit. What you saying? Holy shit. You know what I'm saying? Fam. I thought you wanted to pie.
Starting point is 01:58:37 I do. Oh, okay. I was just, you know. So, I mean, so I do. Wait, the dick slap is like a standard in your sex, in the sex package for you? They take your dick and be smacking themselves in the face with it? No. Without you asking?
Starting point is 01:58:48 Absolutely. I'm just asking. I'm not saying. Why are you sucking your dick? I'm just asking. Of course. Okay. No.
Starting point is 01:58:55 You ask them to smack themselves in the face with your dick? Oh my. I mean. Smack yourself. I mean. How do you even verbalize that? Smack that shit on your face. See? I made the how do you even verbalize that smack that shit on your face Smack that shit on your face
Starting point is 01:59:15 You got it, okay Listen man Listen, that's what I'm talking about. Nah, but that's he real. That smack that shit on your face You can't go home
Starting point is 01:59:28 and tell your boyfriend of 20 years. You don't want to be your husband. Smack that shit on your face
Starting point is 01:59:32 don't even sound good in your shit bills. Yeah, it was funny. I'm laughing, but I was just watching Tyler
Starting point is 01:59:38 Perry movie, but it's old. It's called Temptation. You being honest, we're watching Temptation. I was watching the movie.
Starting point is 01:59:46 And Shorty was married and she got turned on, went home to her husband and was like, jumped on him. Like, yo, I want you to grab me, smack me.
Starting point is 01:59:54 He looked at her like, yo, what the fuck you doing? Calm down. Chill the fuck down. And that shit like really pissed her off. Like, yo, I just, yeah, we,
Starting point is 02:00:01 no, he said, yo, let's take it in the bedroom, plop the pillows, turn the lights off like we usually do. Could you think about how he was like, nah, nigga just, yeah, we, no, he said, yo, let's take it in the bedroom, plop the pillows, turn the lights off like we usually do. No, nigga, bend me over this island. And she was like, nah, nigga. Bend me over this island.
Starting point is 02:00:08 Yeah. Could you think about how boring that shit? I want you to give me that spatula. Just, come on. 17, you're dealing with a woman, 15, 16 years, and we calculate. We cook. I make breakfast. I make lunch.
Starting point is 02:00:20 I pick the kids up. I go home. I lay on my back. We have missionary sex. We go to sleep. 15, 16 years straight. This shit gets boring. It kids up. I go home. I lay on my back. We have missionary sex. We go to sleep. 15, 16 years straight. This shit gets boring. It gets boring.
Starting point is 02:00:27 Because back when she was 25, when she met Stan, she didn't have a crib yet. They fucking in the car. They fucking in the movie. Sometimes you got to still want to hit the park. You got to hit the park sometimes. Like still, I think. At your big age. Yes, nigga.
Starting point is 02:00:42 At your high age, you should sure hit the park it ain't even that you got a girlfriend live a little you got a girlfriend that told you what this nigga was doing to her
Starting point is 02:00:50 you want to come home and try that to your man wait wait wait wait what you got a girlfriend told you what this nigga was doing to her girl this nigga
Starting point is 02:00:59 be flipping me upside down he be doing XYZ you want to take that home to your man but your man is not going to your man but your man is not gonna be with it your man gonna be ignorant like who the fuck
Starting point is 02:01:08 taught you that because it's two different people though you're all still in the house letting girls jump on you while you walk around the whole house fucking them
Starting point is 02:01:14 and you stand up and hold their legs like that that's what you're doing I'm asking you a question that's what you're doing not every person how often a year
Starting point is 02:01:22 you're doing that let me hear it which part of that like to stand up yeah I don't even know what he said I bet you don't what you said
Starting point is 02:01:30 to stand up and walk around she has to be brand new and against the wall all of that all that all that that's some new shit
Starting point is 02:01:39 that's some brand new that's some that's new and not regular new that's new like I've been with supposed to get a hold of you we've been following each other
Starting point is 02:01:45 On the gram for two years IOU Yeah that's an IOU IOU We should have been did that I want to pop you on college And I'm about to show you I got you all up on the wall
Starting point is 02:01:53 Trying to eat that shit Thank you Trying to be valedictorian Yeah that's old new Yeah We follow each other On Twitter and the gram We've been was supposed
Starting point is 02:02:04 To bump heads But we didn't How do you know When you We've been supposed to bump heads, but we didn't. How do you know when you've been supposed to bump heads? Because we got you. Because you were going to our messages and our threads. I'm in Houston. You know, nigga. I'm in Houston.
Starting point is 02:02:14 All right, let's link. Y'all never link. You go back. Your shit start from 2014. It's 22. We've been supposed to skin. So when I get a hold of you. Stop saying skin.
Starting point is 02:02:24 Skin sounds so disgusting. So when I get a hold of you so when i get a hold of you is up but that's old that's what i'm saying that's old new sex now you might get some new new sex i'm not picking you up yeah when you in that position like i've been supposed to get a hold of you and you finally get a hold of them like is it a fast instance because you're so excited or is this a long everybody had a fast instance because you're so excited, or is this a long stretch out? Everybody had a fast instance before. Of course, but I'm talking about in this instance when I couldn't wait to get a hold of you. Now I got you. Depends on who she is.
Starting point is 02:02:54 That's an easy answer. Depends on who she is. It depends on who she is. That's an easy answer. I don't even understand your question. You're saying you nutting quick? Is that what you're asking? Yeah, like if you've been waiting for it.
Starting point is 02:03:04 In a specific instance that surf laid out where... Where you've been wanting to get a hold of... I've been dying to get a hold of you. It depends on the circumstances. It depends on who, the circumstances, what we was drinking, what I took... That matters. What I ate. What was we drinking?
Starting point is 02:03:17 Did we go to... Did she come from the club? Was she at a birthday party? What was we drinking? Why do that matter, man? Was she drunk? Huh? Why that matter?
Starting point is 02:03:23 Because bitches that... Excuse me. I'm sorry, bleep that. No, no, you hear me now. Put your dollar in the bucket. Yeah, you got a dollar. I'm sorry. What you about to cash out the bucket? You gonna cash out the jar, nigga? Women. Right? Women get very
Starting point is 02:03:40 rapey when they drunk. Yo, you know how niggas say bitches too much when they don't know how to say women? Women. Women. Women. Woman. Yeah, so like women
Starting point is 02:03:50 after parties, you know, you know, you're way more rapey. They don't take no. Yeah, they don't take no for an answer. That's what I'm saying. So, you know,
Starting point is 02:03:56 after party woman is different than the let's go grab lunch type of woman, so. Okay. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, y'all niggas is real men, man.
Starting point is 02:04:05 Why you say that? This guy real men man Why you feel that This guy's nuts Why you say that You might need Some new lunch dates Nah but I blame The females though It depends on the type
Starting point is 02:04:12 Of woman Like cause women Have two characters It depends on who They introducing you to Representative Yeah if they have A representative
Starting point is 02:04:19 Like she might meet you And like I wanna get Like women meet niggas And start thinking Of baby names And relationships And picnics and stuff. That shit don't piss you off? And then they see other dudes and start thinking of back shots and slapping.
Starting point is 02:04:31 That shit be annoying. Lace front, one on the head, one on the, you know all that. Yeah. You the knock slide for everybody else. Now you want wife me. It depends. Which one, which boat y'all think y'all falling like when they see you? I think it's per female.
Starting point is 02:04:45 I think it's case by case. Yeah, it's case by case scenario. Or you could be both. Yeah, we trying to put the ball by the rim. I'm a lie. These niggas. It ain't even a lie. I think that's a lie.
Starting point is 02:04:55 It ain't. What? I don't think every female see every nigga. I'm not saying every nigga. To answer his question, he said, what do most females put you in? So it's not every nigga.
Starting point is 02:05:05 It's when they meet you, how do they view you? And I'm telling you, with me, when they view me, it's the nigga that the picnics and all that shit. Because I start talking to you more than anything else. That is me. I'm paying a lot of attention to you. And they're used to niggas just coming to you, talking off the rip, trying to fuck. Take you to the Philips, you take a picture of the plates, and then we going back to the scrape. It's me because of that, but not because of that.
Starting point is 02:05:28 It's like, I don't got like no lower level. Like, let's say like, you know, once you at a certain level, you at a certain level, like I like to eat a certain type of food. Just because I meet a chick that isn't worth this type of food, I'm not going to start eating here. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, if I like, hypothetically if i'm a roof chris type of guy and i meet a chick that only deserves applebee's we're not going to applebee's to eat because applebee's no i'm gonna stay at roof chris so i like i always you know me i try to stay at the level that i drink long where he says she used to soda and nuggets i always say well i get her
Starting point is 02:06:01 soda and nuggets so you'll go to so you'll eat So you'll eat Wendy's because she's a Wendy's girl. She's a Wendy's girl. I can't do it. Because I'm not looking at you trying to do nothing long term with you. So I don't want to give you that idea either. With a lot of girls, if she's used to this and you start upgrading them to this, they think you put some investment into them. I can't afford to take Motel 6 pussy to Motel 6.
Starting point is 02:06:25 I can't. They don't take the Motel 6 pussy, period. No, I might want to pop. No, she might be Motel 6, but no, you just go to where you're comfortable at.
Starting point is 02:06:34 And that's where, I'm telling you, if she's used to niggas meeting her, taking her to Motel 6, and then she meet you and you want to take her to the spot.
Starting point is 02:06:41 Right, but I agree with you. That's what I said first. I said that's why the signal just crossed. I said that's why I'm that guy that you said you are. You said because you baby boo
Starting point is 02:06:49 and you treat with some type of way. I said because I just don't know how to downgrade the treatment. We're going to eat root-rich food.
Starting point is 02:06:55 So we doing the same shit. Yeah, because this is where I'm eating at. I feel y'all, but a slowdown on some of the Motel 6 slams. I know today
Starting point is 02:07:03 is like a laughy-laughy joke, man, bored of reaction times. But you had some movies in Motel 6. And. I know today it's like a laughy, laughy joke, man, bored of the action times. But you had some movies in Motel 6. And some bad ones. Yeah, but you've graduated
Starting point is 02:07:10 to not going to nobody in Motel 6. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, no, I couldn't do that. And then with that, but with that graduation,
Starting point is 02:07:16 I used to know that with that graduation comes the graduation and the women. All right, school them, yo. So if I graduate
Starting point is 02:07:22 from Motel 6, I shouldn't be fucking with chicks that's fucking in Motel 6. Now you disrespecting the Megan Goods that ain't school him yo So if I graduate From Motel 6 I shouldn't be Fucking with chicks That's fucking in Motel 6 Now you disrespecting The Megan Goods That ain't turned good yet It's not my job
Starting point is 02:07:30 To turn you good Meet you at the top baby I see you up here When you I don't like that I don't like that I don't like that I'm not the one
Starting point is 02:07:38 To upgrade you Unless I'm putting Investment into you The world is based around Upgrading in the future Unless I see that Investment in you You know the next step I don't see that shit If you just a pop You gonna be a pop I'm not investment into you. The world is based around upgrading. Unless I see that investment in you. You know the next step.
Starting point is 02:07:45 I don't see that shit. If you just a pop, you're going to be a pop. I'm not taking you up here to pop. Let me ask you a question. But why do pop come with? No, that don't got nothing to do with it. She might just live in the projects and be not used to certain things yet. That don't make her a pop.
Starting point is 02:07:56 That don't make her a pop. I'm talking about pops. Motel 6 pops. But there are girls that's not necessarily a pop. They just ain't worth something yet. There's girls that go to the Ritz Carlton as pops. What are y'all arguing right now? I don't know what they're not necessarily a pop. They just ain't worth it. There's girls that go to the Ritz Carlton as pops. What are y'all arguing right now? I don't know what they're arguing.
Starting point is 02:08:07 I'm telling the truth. I don't want to get lost in the sauce. I have no clue. What is the debate? Is there a debate? You asked if what type of man are you or what are the odds that you are. When a female sees you, are you the type of I want to sweat him or I'm going to bust him down blah blah blah no he didn't he said
Starting point is 02:08:27 I'm the baby boo type of guy because I baby and boo my bitches and we said we agree with Ice we the baby boo type of guy too but because in action like I'm not baby and booing like I'm going to send my driver to get you you might be a bitch that deserve an Uber
Starting point is 02:08:43 but I just don't send Ubers Woman Excuse my like Bleed me out with two dollars Three Four Yeah you up to like four Nah it's four dollars
Starting point is 02:08:51 You been cooking Yeah but like You know what I mean Yeah I'm not You might be where I'm not sending an Uber to nobody That's true Respectfully
Starting point is 02:08:58 It's not safe Oh no I don't got no driver But I got a driver You know what I'm saying But in my real life I've sent my driver to Queens Corona. I've sent my driver to Marion Projects, Jersey City. It happens.
Starting point is 02:09:10 You know what I mean? Yeah, but respectfully, your driver look like a gang member driver. He's... You know what I mean? He's... Kid tested, mother approved. I wouldn't get in there. What was that?
Starting point is 02:09:20 A 96 Suburban too? I ain't fucking with you. Don't come on. Stop this. You're shitting me in there. I'm not fucking with you. You're shitting me. Don shit. You're shitting me in there. I'm not fucking with you. You're shitting me. The fuck up my bread.
Starting point is 02:09:28 I'll kill your motherfucker. You know who the fuck it was? Everything in there is credentialed and straight. Shitting me. You're not sending an Uber. You're not really like... No, I'm not sending an Uber to get no ass that I'm trying to get. Not if I'm really trying to get the ass.
Starting point is 02:09:40 So you really trying to get the ass from some Marion Project chicks? And you felt you had to jump through all that to do it? That's the first project that I... First of all, that's not jumping through anything. That's not jumping through hoops if that's your normal day-to-day.
Starting point is 02:09:52 That's my day-to-day, so it's not jumping through anything. For you. That's yours. Yeah, that's my day-to-day. That's not jumping through anything. If she just so happened resides in Marion Projects,
Starting point is 02:10:00 that doesn't change the quality of her vagina. Or she might be a really good girl. She might be amazing. She might not be made out of the project yet. I'm not mad at the project. You see how they call it jumping through loops, though? No, I'm not.
Starting point is 02:10:13 I see the shade. It's not shade. It's really not shade. But I'm just saying, if that's what she used to, that's not on me to bump you up to the next level. All right, so let me download Uber and send you a fucking car's not true. I'll just send you a fucking carpool. Nah, nah. I ain't gonna do a carpool.
Starting point is 02:10:28 You get the X. You get the X. Have a little class. Yeah, I got some class over here. You get the X. Yeah, you still doing some hood boogie shit. No, I don't have Uber on my phone at all. No app.
Starting point is 02:10:37 That's what I'm saying. I'm not doing no carpool or no regular car. If I'm gonna send you an Uber, it's gonna at least be a black truck. What happens when you doing something? What about the sex? You shitting me? I want you to get in there and feel nice and cozy, boo-boo.
Starting point is 02:10:49 Stretch them legs out because they're about to get stretched out some more. Very comfortable at all times. I'm just... This conversation is nuts. I'm about to say make enough money yet.
Starting point is 02:10:58 That might be it. You just wait. It's coming. It got to be that. I see the changes already. That's all I can acquaint you. You're talking, right? I see it's coming already. I'm about got to be that. I see the changes already. That's all I can equate it to. You're talking, right? I see it's coming already.
Starting point is 02:11:07 I'm about to say make that. Whatever that amount is, I ain't hit that. It is. What you ask. You know what I'm saying? It got to be that. It's coming. I see it.
Starting point is 02:11:15 Nigga said I send a driver. No matter who, no matter what. I ain't going to send a driver. So let me ask you a question. Oh, now you're in trouble. Yo, pass me a paper towel for the muffin, please. No, no, no. You good. You good. You good. Yeah, I'm just. Oh paper towel for the muffin, please. No, no, no. You good.
Starting point is 02:11:25 You good. You good. Yeah, I'm just. Oh, you put the muffin. I'll put it away. That's what I got. Oh, boo. My nigga.
Starting point is 02:11:35 Boo. Don't do that. No, I'm not doing that, though. Just your standard of living is your standard of living. You shouldn't down your standard of living. It's per person, right? Where somebody else is. You get what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:11:44 Like, that's why even when you dating somebody if the chick don't necessarily meet your mental level y'all not supposed to date you can't kill everybody i agree with you if you suppose if you suppose it's a freaking nasty but i'm not talking about date i'm talking about if something i'm just trying to pop that's what i think the difference is if you sexually iq test today if i'm just trying to pop. That's what I think the difference is. I'm running an IQ test today. If I'm just trying to pop, I don't really, I'm not looking at all of that.
Starting point is 02:12:09 Now you're talking dating. That's different. Men are such barbarians. Dating is different. Listen to this talk. We're not doing that. Dating is different. Even if we just fucking,
Starting point is 02:12:18 I still got to be able to talk to you. I still got to be able to talk to you even if we just fucking. That's like being some super extra freaky nasty nigga and you fuck with a chick that even if we just fuck that's like being some super extra freaky nasty nigga
Starting point is 02:12:26 and you fuck with a chick that you can't do everything that you like to do with why would you even deal I don't need to do everything else with her I just need to do that with her nah I ain't gonna ride with that sir
Starting point is 02:12:36 I don't need to do everything else with her not just that let me tell you how much shit is in your little sex package how many things you got now I'm starting to feel

Starting point is 02:23:04 They try to sneak in the cheat nigga on the slide. Just take a little Randy to the barbershop. Let's take him to Chris Brickley. It's 7 a.m. Chris Brickley probably got hella chewy. Wait, the barbershop is open? No, but he opens it for me. Wait, excuse me?

Starting point is 02:24:48 Caskets are cheap We can discuss it You know what Caskets are not cheap by the way Tell TikTok Talk to somebody else Fucking thousand dollar outfit Alright
Starting point is 02:25:03 Let's do part of the show let's do it part of the show we have let's see I don't know how you pronounce this young woman's name it's W-Y-A-N-N
Starting point is 02:25:17 Y-A-N Y-A-N Y-A-N Y-A-N it's what it looks like and Y-A-N says what do y'all think about approving your mates follow list my guy and i were speaking about hiccups we had in our past where the types of accounts he followed followed were large indicators of where he was developmentally
Starting point is 02:25:39 i personally keep my timeline focused on the shit i want to see more of. I don't know what his looks like. I ain't the nigga warden, but I know where he is in his head based on how he treats us, which is an extension of where he sees himself. And he agreed. I told him that this could be a good topic for the boys. So I wanted to know if y'all's timelines reflect how focused you are in your relationships. No. Hell no. What?
Starting point is 02:26:07 Are you shitting me? I threw his bad times. I just wanted to interject in just reading that shit. I think. He said. I think only one of those. I think she only lied in one sentence in that whole time. I think he lied a couple times.
Starting point is 02:26:18 She said he agreed. He was just like, I'm just trying to avoid the fight. What's the first line? The first line is the approving of the list shit is out. It's crazy. Yeah, that's not happening. But what you choose to follow
Starting point is 02:26:31 is a for sure, a for sure representation of your relationship. You know what I mean? They can still follow their ex and still like. That ain't got nothing to do with that. That has no representation of nothing?
Starting point is 02:26:42 Nah. You know what I mean? They just follow breasts and they girls wear fucking training bras? So? Why y'all say that? That's what she's talking about.
Starting point is 02:26:54 You like titties. She don't have none. I don't like her, though. I don't mean I don't like her. I don't mean I don't like her for more than titties. I just also like titties. Yeah, I like titties.
Starting point is 02:27:02 You guys are cavemen if I've ever heard them. I am not a representation Like My followers don't define me Let me call the young lady please Let me gather myself It's a representation Of what you think
Starting point is 02:27:13 Of your relationship I totally disagree with that I completely disagree You follow 500 titties Your girl don't got titties That's a representation Of what the Nah
Starting point is 02:27:21 No Not at all She's a girl for a reason. It ain't got nothing to do with titties. It shouldn't. So why you... You would have preferred a girl with some titties,
Starting point is 02:27:34 but you fell in love with one that didn't have titties because of other shit. Don't mean that. Don't mean it. It's okay to have sleepers, yo. It's totally fine to have sleepers. Well, you think that
Starting point is 02:27:44 it's a representation of... Where you are in your relationship to have sleepers well you think that it's representation of where you are in your relationship your likes and your wants I said hell no no you could like something but that don't mean it's a representation of where you are
Starting point is 02:27:53 in your life I'm not saying like it means that like your followers mean that your relationship is good or bad but I feel like toxic niggas
Starting point is 02:28:00 do toxic shit so if you date a chick with no titties you should just unfollow all the titties and start following you like titties your whole life our audienceollow all the titties and start following chicks. You like titties your whole life?
Starting point is 02:28:06 Our audience is way broader than put y'all. Yo, cars, you got to have a nice car. And y'all keep going. And look, he's got a whole other car example now. Go ahead. No, I was going to say, yo, you might be a car lover and you like cars. You might not drive a specific car, but you had the money. It's just not in your best interest to get that car.
Starting point is 02:28:23 Don't mean you don't like your car either. Exactly. I don't like somebody being a nigga warden over my socials i don't like that either i think it just reeks of insecurity yep yeah that's all i get from it insecurity i text her we'll try to try her back because i'd like to hear what she has to say. That's all you get from that? Yes, all I get. 100%. It's not all I get, but I get some of that in you. So just real quick, if I could be hilarious, so you don't think there's no type of
Starting point is 02:28:55 reflection of, like, if I'm a woman, whatever, regardless of how I look, what my man chooses to look at does not reflect on the space, place, energy of nothing to where he's at in his life right now that's basically yes i think it can i think she's absolutely right i also think it can't and she could be absolutely wrong all right cool like i don't think i don't think that there's a template i don't think there's a template for how men should behave in their
Starting point is 02:29:21 relationships as it pertains to socials that's why I wanted to hear from her specifically about her partner. She went on to talk about her partner to say, Hey, I noticed he, a correlation between how he treats us. Yeah. When he, when he like,
Starting point is 02:29:34 so she has a different experience and a different story. I wanted to hear from her, but for me, nah, that, that don't exist. Like my home could be all the way happy and i could follow all the porno nasty big booty it could be it could be food it could be just whatever i'm into over here that
Starting point is 02:29:52 don't have to leak into that part of my relationship correct but if my partner saw a reflection and how i treat her and who i'm following i'd be interested to hear that that take i just could see how a female... A woman. I'm sleeping with a woman or something. It's casual here. And then I go to my man's Twitter and he follows all OnlyFans women.
Starting point is 02:30:15 I could see where that question would derive from, is what I'm saying. That would sound like it's rooted in some type of insecurity. That's insecurity, though. That is insecurity. That's rooted in some separate insecurity. So for you to call me insecure. That's insecurity, though. That is insecurity. That's insecurity. That's us both as adults knowing that this sex is trash in this room. And then I go in your closet.
Starting point is 02:30:31 Don't have to mean none of that. That's not true. That don't have to mean that, sir. Yo, let me ask you a question. It don't have to mean that. Let me ask you a question. You've had some fire box before. Oh, my Lord, yo.
Starting point is 02:30:40 No, wait, let me finish. You've had some fire sex, right? It ain't stop you from watching porn. You could have been completely satisfied with the sex that that particular girl was giving you, but that ain't mean you stopped watching porn because of it. But we're talking about, but what somebody chooses,
Starting point is 02:30:55 what you choose to- You ain't answer yet. No, I didn't, to answer your question. But what you choose to follow is what you choose to digest on a daily basis. True, yes. But that don't mean That the sex in that room
Starting point is 02:31:06 Was garbage I'm not speaking on sex I'm speaking on anything If me and my husband You just talking about How it affects his How his partner And how he treats his partner
Starting point is 02:31:14 Right If me and my husband If me and my wife Or me and my husband Is a church going Like we're us two This is what we choose In the house
Starting point is 02:31:20 Yeah And then I see something Like your social media following Or something just on the side Of what it looked like the line that we're walking. I can see why. And let me just throw in
Starting point is 02:31:31 to Ish and Ice that insecurity can be birthed. Men create insecurity. You can birth an insecurity in a partner. I don't agree with that. Personally. We'll have to unpack that.
Starting point is 02:31:44 I was pretty fine with my size A titties Until you start only following Double D titties Stop it who we talking to What do y'all say to that I didn't want my ass done Until you only followed chicks With asses
Starting point is 02:32:00 Then that sound like you wasn't Really secure with your ass then That's what it sounds like Cause if like you wasn't really secure with your ass then? There you go. That's what it sounds like. Because if you secure with that, you secure with your shit. If my girl follows niggas that got abs, it's not going to make me
Starting point is 02:32:12 start jogging all fucking day to get some abs. But you're going to start, in the back of your mind, subconsciously, you're going to start thinking she like gym niggas. Wait, and who cares
Starting point is 02:32:20 what you do with the information? We talking about what a lot of women do with that information. Y'all don't want to have this conversation because I could really go. Nigga, let me tell you something. Self-esteem comes from within. So you can't create an insecurity with somebody.
Starting point is 02:32:32 They got to already have that insecurity. They got to have that there already. It's not true. So you can't create an insecurity with somebody. That's what you're saying. Yeah. Okay, so let's say it's only one female in here. Right?
Starting point is 02:32:41 It's one female in the room with us and you're treating her a certain type of way. Mm-hmm. This is built with how you're treating her a certain type of way you are this is built with you with how you're treating her you are building her a certain type of way while we're in this room every day monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday five badder women coming here you don't look at her again you created that you're not about to tell me that was in her no it wasn't because for the last three weeks she thought she was the baddest thing in amer. New bitches come around and start acting different. Now I feel a little different about myself.
Starting point is 02:33:09 That's, yes, it's inside because it's in me. But you did that. If she's strong, I disagree. If she's strong in who she is, she ain't looking at it that way. Sorry. That's just the way I view insecurity. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 02:33:22 And maybe that comes from me speaking of a place of being a secure nigga. So that might be why I look at it that way. I'm sorry. But that's still other people's affecting someone's. If I'm lifting 300 pounds and somebody else and a bunch of motherfuckers pull up and they lifting 500, I start thinking, am I stronger? Am I as strong as I thought I was? Yes, that's in me.
Starting point is 02:33:41 But it was created because like. Y'all niggas do a lot of capping on these parts. I ain't going to. I'm not capping because I don't agree withas do a lot of Capping on these parts I ain't gonna hold you I'm not capping Cause I don't agree with Nobody that don't make me So cap I ain't gonna hold you
Starting point is 02:33:48 Y'all do a lot of Capping on these parts Who y'all Gangsta male Specify the y'all Cause I don't be up here lying I can't I'm not lying
Starting point is 02:33:55 I can't This ain't even worth me lying Exactly Cause I don't agree With nobody else That don't mean That I'm lying Fam I say what I feel
Starting point is 02:34:04 I feel what I say I don't believe that Can't no girl Create um that I'm lying fam I say what I feel I feel what I say I don't believe that can't no girl create an insecurity in me I've dated girls that have way more money than me I've dated girls that's what I'm talking about I can't speak for nobody else I can speak how but the topic y'all not answering the topic the topic y'all are speaking can you create can you create insecurities in a woman and I believe, and we're saying yes. I said if a woman has insecure tendencies, then yes, you can push that in a woman. If she don't have that, I don't think you can.
Starting point is 02:34:32 That's my answer to your question. I think if you've ever honestly been an ain't shit nigga, then you know the real answer to this question. Because multiple men have made women feel lesser than. You're not about to tell me every woman walking around here feel less than a woman. No, it's not that many women running around here feeling less than a woman. It's the way niggas treat them. Y'all got it. No, they don't got it. Y'all can have it.
Starting point is 02:34:54 I don't want to argue, but y'all don't got it. Y'all got it. Let me tell you something. Women from day one start reading magazines. They look at fucking every single magazine on the planet. And all of these magazines depict what beauty is to them that's not man-based that is fucking societal stop that's societal that's not driven by men that's driven by society so let me know when i can speak
Starting point is 02:35:17 i'm with you so those particular areas that they identify beauty with society now changes let me give you an example. All the girls getting lip injections. Whereas before in society, they said that that shit wasn't cute. When black girls had big lips, it wasn't cute. Now fucking Angelina Jolie came out with the big lips.
Starting point is 02:35:35 Now every girl going to get lip injections. You mean to tell me all the girls that had thin lips before was suffering from insecurities? You want them or you want me to go? Go ahead, man. Fuck out of here. What society depicts on
Starting point is 02:35:46 society and what's going on in my house is two total different conversations stop it that's like us saying the last conversation we had when we're talking about uh larger woman compared to smaller woman you get i'm saying when we were saying oh well society says that you're we're not talking about that we're talking about the man that you're sleeping with creating some type of security or insecurity that can be created. Also, to add to what Surf is saying, you know why men got to shut the fuck up when it comes to women and just what they do and why they do it? Because some shit we just don't know. That's what I said. I can't speak for women.
Starting point is 02:36:19 Go ahead, though. My fault, but that is what I said. Go ahead. He's trying to slide on the outside of the fence. Nigga. I'm just throwing it out there. I'm just saying, like, I had this conversation with some older women before, like older as in, like, 50s, 60s. And I was saying some of the same shit y'all saying about, yo, it's got to be insecurity when people are brushing their ass and lips down.
Starting point is 02:36:39 And it was a group of women to tell me on multiple occasions yo no uh some of this surgical stuff has advanced in a way where just certain options that didn't exist before exist today so you're curious now it presents a different way for you to age to that that has nothing to do with men and our perception and how they felt about them before yo me when i went to get my fucking uh veneers done shorty starts selling me on Botox. I wasn't that. I'm not insecure about my forehead wrinkles. Like, what the fuck are you talking about?
Starting point is 02:37:10 That's like a laughable joke to me. But as she's explaining it to me, it opened my mind up to say, hey, I'll give it a shot. These niggas is running around getting surgeries. Like, y'all talking about the women? Niggas is running around getting surgeries. We as men can't say why women are doing something. So it's interesting that Ish point out how women respond to Western civilization's beauty metric. I forgot the name of it.
Starting point is 02:37:36 What was the name of that? Was it Normans? The Normans? I don't remember, but that beauty metric. You say what women will pull from that, but you'll totally shut down what they pull from us and they do pull from us
Starting point is 02:37:48 like Arlen did the most toxicest shit in the world now I'm not saying that they was all just the most secure but I helped to birth
Starting point is 02:37:55 some new insecurity that a motherfucker even though they had they wasn't all the way aware I was so ill in the toxicity I did some shit that was brand new for her
Starting point is 02:38:04 she had to learn that in real time. And y'all saying that can't happen? Man, my mama... So none of that was there before you? None of it? Man, I was dealing with a girl. Real quick, I was dealing with a girl that I personally thought was gorgeous.
Starting point is 02:38:16 My mom had a great relationship with her. It was a couple years back. Great relationship with her. My mom said the girl was crying so hard. Like, beautiful girl. She was crying so hard about some stuff that I did. And when I, like... My mom recorded it. She, like, with her. My mom said the girl was crying so hard. Beautiful girl. She was crying so hard about some stuff that I had did. And when I, my mom recorded it. She, with her other phone, like, yo, listen to her.
Starting point is 02:38:30 The way she sounded, I'm like, there's no way you even think that about yourself. She like, just nobody ever made me feel so much less than myself. I'm so used to like feeling good about like, I'm here. I'm so used to like feeling good about like I'm here I don't I just think it's crazy like that
Starting point is 02:38:45 men don't think that we affect the opposite sex in any type of way that like mentally a girl listen to this a girl could have been told her entire life
Starting point is 02:38:55 she could be 30 years old she could have been told her entire life yo you have the best sex in the world and she could run around like her shit don't stink head in the sky
Starting point is 02:39:02 but the guy that she likes but now now she met a guy that she liked and fell in love with and he don't think that that shit is the greatest he running around acting in a way that she don't know men to act he's turning his nose up and shit he ain't really pressed for it but she been insecure all her life come on this is a new insecurity for her she has never had to deal with this ish i'm shocked with you i'm sure you have experienced this. Because you know what pretty privilege is. That was a very good example that you just gave.
Starting point is 02:39:29 An extremely good example that you just gave. I don't think that they're synonymous, though. What we're talking about, one, is performance. And we're talking about... So I don't know if she would... Let's just say I'm king dingling to every girl I ever fucked in my life. And then I run into somebody and they didn't like my dick yeah that's possible for me i can only speak for me because we are all we are all generalizing how women think all of us whether you're on this side
Starting point is 02:39:59 or this side we are generalizing how women think right for? For me, I'm going to say, cool, these other 99 girls like my dick. You didn't like my dick. I'm not going to start feeling insecure about my dick game. And I understand how some women would land at that logic. Men and women are set up totally differently. We all also know that. I get how y'all would land there. I would say the same.
Starting point is 02:40:19 That's why I'm only saying I'm speaking for me. If I'm shooting one out of 100, let's be clear. Yes, I'm shooting 99%. I use the exact same analogy Joe gave when I'm speaking for me. If I'm shooting one out of 100, let's be clear, yes, I'm shooting 99%. I use the exact same analogy Joe gave when I put it on me. And I'm just jumping in and I said, if I'm shooting 99%,
Starting point is 02:40:30 I would also say the same exact thing. That does not take away what Joe said when we're now talking about different dynamics of me loving somebody, me having a kid, my stomach is not,
Starting point is 02:40:41 I'm not 20 no more, my stomach not flat. It's a little flabby now. I've had two kids certain things I can see cellulite I can see you're not making me feel like
Starting point is 02:40:49 what I used to feel like and you're the one that's supposed to it don't matter what everybody outside feel like it don't if you don't make me feel like
Starting point is 02:40:57 who I'm supposed to feel like how can you not tell me you're creating something in me that wasn't in me prior to you that sounds like no self esteem you just lost i'm sorry no he's not smoking anything you had a child you are looking at yourself differently that's right
Starting point is 02:41:12 self-esteem you had a child he just said yo he said yo you had a child and you started gaining some weight because no because that's what he said all right yo you gotta sell your light now you are looking in the mirror at yourself differently and need reassurance looking for reassurance from the niggas but the part that y'all are missing because y'all are now trying to bring back
Starting point is 02:41:29 my point was you were also treating her a certain way prior to this too that's the part that I was stuck on you right let me just say this real quick
Starting point is 02:41:36 because in his example and you can go ahead why I thought he was smoking it is because this is what happens and I've been through this too many times the girl comes to you and say what surf is saying yo you don't make me feel good i feel insecure as a man i disagree you gaslight whatever the fuck you talking about like i do this i do this
Starting point is 02:41:54 you're not paying attention you're ungrateful to that whatever right but those feelings still exist in her now she go outside and some nigga is doing and some nigga is doing what i'm gonna call that you know the goofy shit but they do it now they pouring it on with the extra compliments they making her feel special in a way that she's never
Starting point is 02:42:11 seen at all and that's just the guy that she ends up fucking yo funny shit you just described that movie I told you about no no no no literally
Starting point is 02:42:17 no no no no the Tyler Perry shit that's the movie stay there Ice literally stay there temptation temptation
Starting point is 02:42:23 that's exactly what happens I'm just telling a joke cause yation. That's exactly what happens. I'm just telling a joke. Because y'all love playing the yo, we can't tell them how to feel game. Cool. Tell who? Who's them? Women.
Starting point is 02:42:32 Women. Anybody. We can't tell anybody how they're supposed to feel. Cool. Let's just say she has a baby. She puts on some pounds.
Starting point is 02:42:40 She gets some stretch marks, some cellulite, whatever the case may be. Let's say you are treating her exactly how the fuck you treated her before and stop before and after maybe those feelings are coming from her insecurities so she feels like you are looking at her differently you might be looking at her like she's the most beautiful fucking thing in the world okay but we can't tell her how to feel i agree with y'all one thousand percent the only
Starting point is 02:43:07 my argument will still no i'm saying they're right it does come from insecurity she just had a baby that they're supposed to be there that that is the exact time that she's supposed to be we gave them to her but that's what i'm saying i. All I'm saying is your first argument was that men cannot create insecurities in women. That is a lie. Yeah, that's all we're saying.
Starting point is 02:43:30 That is all we're saying. The argument got stretched out. Because I'm agreeing with you. It did. That's all. Our argument got stretched out. The main premise of the gist of this convo was
Starting point is 02:43:40 a man cannot create insecurities in a woman. That's cat. That's bullshit. It's bullshit it's bullshit and sure enough here she come texting back her caller of course we got a five hour pod the fans love it so women can create an insecurity in you it might be more harder for a female to create insecurities of course they can but they can be done yes of course they can of course they can of course they can i'm not answering that's on him can of course they can yes they can of course they can I'm not answering that's on him
Starting point is 02:44:06 but of course they can is my answer no I'm just saying for anybody yes they can a woman can create it might not be the same for men
Starting point is 02:44:13 but yes it can and they do it might be some yeah come on bro it's some grump and I think the dudes were already insecure to begin with
Starting point is 02:44:21 whatever area that she creates is insecure so let's just say you meet a chick you're just saying so she's picking at a sc insecure. So let's just say you meet a chick. You're just saying she's picking at a scat. No, no, no.
Starting point is 02:44:27 Let's say you meet a woman. Let's say you meet a woman, right? And she used to date Jay. She used to date Puff. She used to date whomever, right? Yo, can y'all take a time out? Hello? Hello.
Starting point is 02:44:41 Hi. Whoa. This is the Joe buddy. Is this YN? This is YN. How are you doing? Really, really good. How about you?
Starting point is 02:44:49 Amazingly. Thanks for calling. No, thanks for reaching out. We were a little confused by your question. We argued about it without you. For an hour. For 40 minutes. Actually, we were in the middle of the argument.
Starting point is 02:45:04 I'm still a little mad. When you continue to argue, boys, please fucking continue. But we need more information first. Well, yeah. Well, I think you and Ish need more information, right? So do you have questions for YN? We do. You started off your conversation by saying that your husband.
Starting point is 02:45:19 Is he your husband? No, no, no. He's your boyfriend. Pardon me. Your boyfriend is basically looking at images that maybe
Starting point is 02:45:29 can we read it one more time just to refresh yeah yeah yeah I got you we've been arguing so long that the question kinda I'll read it we have gone way off
Starting point is 02:45:35 what do y'all think about approving your mate's follow list my guy and I were speaking about hiccups we had in our past where the types of accounts he followed
Starting point is 02:45:44 were large indicators of where he was developmentally. Stop. Can we stop there? Sure. Because she asked a few different questions. Okay. So, YN, you feel as though based on whatever list he follows, I'm assuming, on social media, that is indicative of his mental development? well these were his words where he was when he wasn't necessarily sure about what he thought his worth was he would find his worth in hollering at females and seeing them give him that attention back that he wasn't necessarily giving himself either his words by the way so no no you said
Starting point is 02:46:22 hollering at so that changes the dynamic he wasn. Yeah, he wasn't just following. He's not just looking at them and appreciating them with some likes. He's shooting his shot. Oh, hell no. Right, right, right. Oh, so that... Oh, no, no.
Starting point is 02:46:31 That's very different. That's very different. But we all did disagree about the approving of the following list. We all agreed that that was... Yeah, that's crazy. Horrible.
Starting point is 02:46:38 No, he had to get out of jail. Of course. Yeah, that's what happened. Yeah. YN, your husband, your boyfriend follows the pod? He does not follow the pod, but he knows this is the only pod I care about outside of my home. I'll just light his ass up.
Starting point is 02:46:50 No, I don't. I want to be on team man, YN. You can tell YN. No, I texted him. He was in the room when I was writing the question to you all. He was like, no, see what they think, because this might be what other people are going through as well. He don't want to know. He don't want to know.
Starting point is 02:47:04 He don't want to know. He don't want to know. He don't want to know He don't want to know He don't want to know He don't want to know He don't want to know But how long have y'all Been together Five years See that's what I thought This sounded like
Starting point is 02:47:11 A long long term conversation A dude ain't even Opening up and sharing With his partner To this degree This sounds like Another layer of Vulnerability
Starting point is 02:47:20 He got caught Yes Yes And he knows He had to layer it He got caught You got to go I he had to layer it he got caught yeah i don't want to i don't want to be i'm pro man what's his name oh no don't tell me his name i'm pro mr ym i'm just saying so much so did you call him mr ym i did yes this is amazing look i'm pro man mr ym
Starting point is 02:47:40 yeah that nigga flirt by mistake right he? He got a little mistake flirt. Oh, man. Anyway. Look at his lips. He can't see you. At us. Bottom lip. What is shit right now? Go up. Go up. Bottom lip. What is shit?
Starting point is 02:47:58 He keep looking at us. I'm fucking rolling right now Ish wants you to FaceTime oh you didn't get the FaceTime tier this is that we'll call you later with the right advice tier yeah I don't really want to advise on that
Starting point is 02:48:20 when y'all had this conversation did he get busted or caught in something that he shouldn't have got caught in and had to come up with something? Yeah, unfortunately, on that one, he did get busted. He did. Can we learn how? Well, yeah. We were having a discussion. We was going, not we was going through each other's phone.
Starting point is 02:48:40 It wasn't like that. But we were playing a game that was on his phone phone and a notification came up and made the situation really Cases on your girls, right. He's Mr. Y. Hey, YN. How old is he? He is eight years my junior. So I'm about to... There you go. Now you're getting somewhere. You're playing with milk.
Starting point is 02:49:16 Yo, YN, cut it out, yo. She playing with milk. YN, cut it... Oh, wait. Let that little cub go back to the street where he belongs, yo. If we can be honest, though, if we can be honest, though,
Starting point is 02:49:28 the reality of why I date him, not only does he have parity with me in the industry, and we actually get along on, not just maturity, but what I mean is on, like, a depth of understanding oneself, and it's a great area when
Starting point is 02:49:47 you date someone in the mid 40s or even you know into your 50s or into your 30s it doesn't matter for gentlemen when they decide to start taking themselves seriously and seeing their worth unfortunately as i've dated it doesn't come with a particular age so certain gentlemen who have been my age or older especially good god forbid if you have money if you have right god forbid yeah yeah god forbid they have money these guys these guys have more distractions from learning what it is that makes them tick i actually asked you guys a question um in the first time i got the friend of the tier uh friend of the show tier which was do you think that cheating on a gentleman's side is inevitable because i don't think it is but i would rather hear from a
Starting point is 02:50:37 gentleman rather than than just ponder you can't think it is if you date a nigga eight years your i wish you let that man flourish back in the streets and stop suppressing his inner self. Miss YN. Hey, he is free to roam. If he wants to stay, he can stay. He's not free to roam. He's not free to roam.
Starting point is 02:50:54 You couldn't even finish the cool-ass game y'all were playing. You played Candy Crush on his phone. Yeah, you couldn't even finish Tic-Tac-Toe. We actually did. Miss YN. We actually did. Miss Y-Air. Miss Y-Air. Can I ask a question?
Starting point is 02:51:09 Yes, love. Where do you see yourself at the space in your life to where as that you have to date eight years your junior? Because if you ask me, that's two whole high school terms. Yeah, you playing. You know what I'm saying? So you figure they say women are nine times out of ten four or five years smarter than women. I mean, smarter than men. So if we both 35, then I'm 40, you're 35.
Starting point is 02:51:30 If he's eight years your senior, he's 12 years your junior. He's about mentally 12 years your junior. Where are you at that he's a satisfaction to you? Well, she just said she need a nigga that she can spin around. It's control. It's the control thing. She just said, I can't fuck with these older niggas because they know the game. No, she got a couple. They got more. I can control this with these older niggas because they know the game. No, she got a couple of them. And they got more eyes.
Starting point is 02:51:45 She don't. I can control this little guy. She giving them joys and a fucking hat and a cap. This is going to be awesome. I can't wait. When I see you guys in L.A., I almost want to bring him. This would be so good. What do you mean almost?
Starting point is 02:51:57 That's your partner. No, please don't. Five years. My sister is going with me. I figured you guys would want eye candy in the front row. Wait, wait. Your sister's eye candy? Me and my sister, first sister is going with me. I figured you guys would want eye candy in the front row. Wait, wait. Your sister's eye candy? I said my...
Starting point is 02:52:07 Me and my sister, first of all, is eye candy. But I'm saying, if you wanted to see somebody in the first row, I figured I would have my sister with me. First row? Yeah, bring your sister. Oh, the Splash Brothers. So it's coffee, y'all. Y'all come down late.
Starting point is 02:52:19 They just picked up Jordan Poole, girl. I bought the backdrop spinner. You shitting me? Wait, wait. Is that Ish or Surf? That's not Ish is surf that's not itch yo you know what's funny oh man why yeah that is surf you know why this is funny because why and ain't ugly i know i'll tell you that much now she got a couple of them and she did her junior why and it's not ugly why attractive why you got a couple dollars. And she said, YN what? And she date her junior. YN is not ugly. YN is attractive. I'm far from it. YN have a couple dollars
Starting point is 02:52:48 and these old head niggas are not serving YN up accordingly. So she went and got a nigga eight year her junior in LA with some abs. And she just won tickets to the
Starting point is 02:52:59 You just won meet and greet tickets. You just won yourself two meet and greet tickets. Two all female access meet and green tickets. You just won yourself two meat and green tickets. Two all-female access meat and green tickets. You are the lucky winner, Wyatt. You and a friend or two or three. Hold on.
Starting point is 02:53:17 Hey, Joe. Joe, hold on. I'm walking in the back where my sister is at. Hold up. Oh, she there? Oh, yeah. Hey, Cheyenne. Hey, Cheyenne. Hey, Cheyenne.
Starting point is 02:53:27 Cheyenne. A sister named Cheyenne. Cheyenne. Wendy, this is the Joe Budden Podcast. This is them. This is all the boys. Oh, man. Say hi.
Starting point is 02:53:35 Hi. Wait, hold on. Hey, girl. Look. Wendy, how you doing? Your name is Wendy? That's Joe. Yes.
Starting point is 02:53:42 Wendy and YN. Wendy and YN. She's tripping out, Joe. She's tripping out, Joe. She's tripping out. Now chill, chill. Wendy is trying to keep mimicking your air more, Joe. She said,
Starting point is 02:53:57 oh my God, where? Wendy, I took a question in and they called. This is them. We're going to see them. We will see you. Hold on one second.

Hey, I'm a little younger than you, girl. I'm a cougar. I'm a puma. That's not what a cougar means. I'm a puma. You ever saw Apocalypto? Jaguar.
Starting point is 02:54:55 What's wrong with this thing? You ever saw Apocalypto? Yo, can you ask Miss Wendy a question, please? Can you ask the question, please? Are you familiar with your sister's relationship? I know about her relationship, yes. Do you like to consider your sister a controlling woman? She's not controlling, actually.
Starting point is 02:55:12 Yeah, you know about tantric sex right now. Stop, though. I know about it. I'm trying to learn. She don't even know what it is. She trying to learn. Yo, we are going to take... Oh, we have your number already?
Starting point is 02:55:24 We're going to send a late-night text just to make sure that you got your behind-the-scenes tickets. Yo, you guys are going to see us. Starting point is 02:55:55 Raise It Up. It's about finding positivity in the hip-hop community. And it started with bolstering black men in the hip-hop community. So you know why I fall for it. Oh no we gotta do a collab Don't say that you gonna make me stone dumpster You got it Oh my god no I really
