Starting point is 00:01:49 This is the earliest we ever get the bird drop. I love the birds. Wait, because I. I'm 20 seconds. Hey, hey, when it's coming, it's coming. I put up the little meme. Well, then she said, Virgo, way of flirting is I'm picky. And I picked you, whatever it was.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Them little memes, that's just as effective too now. As soon as you post a meme and some food, they jump right in. That's why that food, boy. Yo, you stick to that food. It's better than you so far. Huh? The food? Yes.

Starting point is 00:16:56 My week was great. Yeah, I was home. I didn't do too much. Ran around, did dinner here. Was trying to go see Burner Boy last night, but didn't make it out. He's in New York. Actually, he's out here for the next four days. Oh. And that's the show you trying to go see Burner Boy last night, but didn't make it out. He's in New York. Actually, he's out here for the next four days. And that's the show you want to go see.
Starting point is 00:17:09 You 100% want to be at a Burner Boy show. You do. Even if he never heard a song. Yeah. No, I'm saying even if he didn't, he'd be alright. No, I heard. I thought you said you heard it. I thought you heard a song. Yeah, Burner Boy's out here for a few days.
Starting point is 00:17:28 I didn't go, but when I saw the clips the next morning, the women were throwing their panties and bras on stage. He was at the Garden last night. And one of them, I think it's the Hulu room in the Garden. Oh, okay. Still? Still, yeah. Yeah. I like that venue, too, actually.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I like it, too, actually. That look like the Garden Garden. It might be the Garden Garden. That ain't the Hulu room. That ain't. too, actually. That look like the garden garden. It might be the garden garden. That ain't the Hulu room. Oh, no. That ain't no Hulu room. That ain't Hulu. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Come on, man. Look at Burner Boy, yo. Yeah, that ain't Hulu. You would send your girl to the Burner Boy concert without you? No. I want to go too. It depends. I'm trying to, you know.
Starting point is 00:18:10 It depends. On what? You are an artist, or you're in the business, each of you. You're in the business. You get tickets to shows. Your girl knows that. Burner Boy is in your girl's town. Yo, baby, can you get me tickets? I want to go to the show. You send your girl to the Burner Boy is in your girl's town Yo baby can you get me
Starting point is 00:18:25 Tickets I want to go to the show You send your girl to the Burner Boy show That's my question Without you I might do that She could go Why don't I tell The world
Starting point is 00:18:41 I wouldn't even You got it quit nothing it seems like you need a pen oh no yeah no actually we don't
Starting point is 00:18:54 have to take that out coming on these podcasts running your mouth but anyway let's get right to it let's get right to it I haven't written
Starting point is 00:19:04 anything down freestyle I'm freestyling this is all off the top the dome and we start with future i never liked you futures album i never liked you drop beautiful album cover i heard it i love it wait one question before we get there is it true that he's doing monster 2 right after this or was that like a twitter fake rumor? We don't know. We don't know, okay. You never know, like there's been rumors of all kind of shit.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Right, right. Like Beast Mode, I mean not Beast Mode, Ape shit's supposed to be coming. I'm going to assume that's a rumor because nobody in the know would promote that rumor
Starting point is 00:19:37 while this is fresh off the press. Like you wouldn't be talking about that when you have to sell this, right? Well, not necessarily. Because he did do Future and Hendrix back-to-back weeks. But he told us. No.
Starting point is 00:19:53 The other one popped up, right? Yeah. Future popped up and it was, oh shit, Hendrix is dropping, right? It wasn't like he told us off the bat. I'm doing two albums in two weeks. And he'd been on a commission for a long time so you know he got
Starting point is 00:20:07 a ton of shit probably in the top that particular instance with Future and Hendrix that was contractual like he lost the court case had to pay
Starting point is 00:20:15 oh right right alright cool I gotta pay you on my next two projects cool I'm gonna drop him in the next two weeks here take your money so that might not apply
Starting point is 00:20:21 but he works at such a high clip where he can do that. A few of y'all out there tried to tear me up for my Pusha T production take. For real? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Only a few. Some people agreed, some people didn't. It's funny getting judged on your opinions on what you like. Oh, welcome to my world. That's why sometimes
Starting point is 00:20:40 you just want to come in here and keep your fucking opinion to yourself. Yeah. Because pod fans think that you're talking to them about your opinion. And I'm not talking about my opinion. I'm not ever talking to anyone about my opinion. I'm talking.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I'm just talking about how I feel about something. I say all the time, my opinion is not up for debate. That's my opinion. I don't care how you feel about my opinion i'm not trying to sell you on it yeah don't like don't agree i don't care yeah good for you i'm not trying to sell you that's true tell your friends you don't agree with me don't tell me don't tell me i don't give a fuck okay and you still don't like the beat or whatever you know yeah all right but futures album i love panderer say what you want but i love it i need to hear it i listened to it
Starting point is 00:21:28 today at 10 o'clock in the morning with zero uh substances in my body and i don't feel like that's the right time to listen to future i need like a lot of subwoofer at least some alcohol and thc and women around see you listen to it the married way. Yeah. I knew Mary Parks was going to change. Well, no, it was just time to listen to shit in the proper context
Starting point is 00:21:50 sometimes on the spot. I didn't have time to get drunk and smoke something. Nah. 10 o'clock. Two, I'm not a morning drinker kind of guy.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I threw it on as soon as it dropped just to hear where it was going. But the ultimate test for me is always the car test. Right. I don't care what it is.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I got to hear it in the car and that'll tell me what I really think about it see what the Volvo what it's hitting for in the Volvo Civic man put some spec on it
Starting point is 00:22:12 good car great car alright and give you a review come on so we can argue about it we ain't got time to waste come on let's argue we've been arguing the whole car ride
Starting point is 00:22:20 let's get to arguing here god damn cause Ice always wanna have some contrarian ass opinion on something it's not contrarian his opinions are his opinions exactly that's it you know this is a cool future it's hard to get this guy man this is a cool future album this is nowhere near his best work it's nowhere near his worst work alex alex he's right in the middle huh this old nigga take i
Starting point is 00:22:40 stuttered why why do you feel that way thank you i just told y'all my opinion. Wait, Alex, you think this is his best work? I think it's really good. I just want to know why you feel like it's not even up to par with his best work. I'm curious. What do you have as Future's best album to you? For me personally, it's Hendrix. All right. Me too.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Me three. So you're going to tell me this is on par with his best work? No, no, no. Hold on. Don't do that. That's how you try to get me in the car. No, I'm not. He just said it's on par with his best work. His words. He said Hold on. Don't do that. That's how he tried to get me in the car. No, I'm not. He just said it's on par with his car.
Starting point is 00:23:05 That's work. His words. He said that. Okay, so why do we like Hendrix, Ice? I'm answering my question. All right, what's your question? Is this on par? Let me bump it some more.
Starting point is 00:23:14 It just came out. But why did we like Hendrix? He answered your question. You answer his. Why did we like Hendrix? Hendrix is one of those more R&B ones. Yeah, it was an R&B album. So what we got on this one with the trap?
Starting point is 00:23:27 What do you mean with the trap? Yeah with the trap style that he does We got the R&B side too with it right? Yeah is this a blend of both? I bet so that's why I'm confused Okay so if you gave me a whole R&B album That's amazing What do you have as future second best project? Second best project to me is Evil
Starting point is 00:23:43 And that's where Ice loses me I like Evil but I don't know if that's Evil. And that's where Ice loses me. I like Evil, but I don't know if that's the second best. That's where Ice loses me. I'm talking about albums. I'm not talking about the mixtapes. I count them all as the same shit. I don't know what's what. Evil.
Starting point is 00:23:54 DS2 is an album. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yo, Ice, stop, yo. Stop what? I'm not a future expert. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:24:05 So I don't want to pretend. I'm way more future expert. I'm not. So I don't want to pretend. I'm way more future. I know. That's why I don't want to. But I'll have this argument on behalf of the future fans, because this sounds nuts to me. I don't think a future fan would tell me that Evil is better than this new project. I liked Evil a lot.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Evil's a lot better than this new project. I had to go to Evil and play the records in the car just to make sure, because Future puts a lot of albums out. I didn't share that opinion. That's fine. But again, you're not a huge Future fan. But you still know what you like. Yeah, that's what I don't understand in my eyes.
Starting point is 00:24:37 You get what I'm saying? I know what I like. No, no, no, you're right. What is there not to understand? No, no, you're right. But I'm just saying you don't got to be a huge Future fan to know what you put in what album. This know what this is all all subject true all of this true he can sit there and say this is the greatest album he's ever heard i cannot say he's wrong in that that's his opinion true i'm gonna say as a person who's been listening to future since uh the 1000 mixtape and and uh astronaut status and etc this
Starting point is 00:25:01 is a cool future project. Seven. I don't do that no more. What's this? I don't do that no more. I don't do that. I'm not doing numbers. Gosh. This is a cool, this rides right in,
Starting point is 00:25:12 it's not up there at the top, and it's nowhere near the bottom. This is riding right in the middle. Stop, stop. This is how the album starts, Artis. I love how the album starts. I'm letting you hear how the album starts. I've heard the album.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Well, let me let you hear it again. It just came out. Okay, yeah. It has never been this time. Send my high five or six, you can see the G name. No one going crazy ready for the good name. If it weren't for Google, man, that bitch wouldn't know my nickname. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Ice, stop it. Joe, you're playing one song on a 16 track. Oh, no, I'm not done. Oh, no. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't tell me that this album is amazing because you played that record that's all I'm telling you
Starting point is 00:25:49 we are just getting started this is the second future record from this project that I have played today and I'm playing more yeah play more there's a lot of skits on here too
Starting point is 00:26:00 it's my part there's highs and lows makes it a cool album Ice You keep saying ice like I don't love this song Cause you have to stop No I don't I love this. Because you have to stop. No, I don't. I love this song with you. Evil is not doing this, yo.
Starting point is 00:26:29 You already know this. Evil is not doing none of this, yo. Get out of my mind. Get out of my mind. And it almost pains. I can't even. I want to go right to ESTG. Yeah, yeah. That's what I want you to do. What ESTG did Yeah, yeah. That's what I want you to do.
Starting point is 00:26:45 What ESTG did on this record. That's what I want you to do. I listened to this and was like, yo, why niggas keep calling him? But I know why they keep calling him. He's supposed to be on this project. But he get on projects and put his foot, his whole knee in the ass. That's what you're supposed to do. That's what you're supposed to do.
Starting point is 00:26:59 It's competition, nigga. Shit on air, singin' summer. We be out here, feelin'. All you gang niggas, what you doin'? Shout out to ESTG. competition I don't understand how you do it. I don't want to fuck this shit up. Yeah. I don't know where that my tool be. Yeah, you ain't got no sack. You rapping about your partner pack. On me even though T like I don't know how to like. This ain't O3. I ain't GZ.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Leave with it. Can't bring it back. Slam like a phone might be tapped. Fire racks make I lay on my back. Pop me another one. Try and relax. Say the opinions. I do.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Yo. This nigga just don't stop. Give me a little bit of Holy Ghost. No, no, no. Give me some Holy Ghost. No, no, no. Give me some Holy Ghost. No, Ice.
Starting point is 00:27:54 I'm just leaving the strip club. You know what happens when I go in there? Bitches be massaging me. You turn my ass around. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Shout out to my ladies.
Starting point is 00:28:28 I think it's the Civic. Shout out to the ladies. It might be your Civic. Yo, you inspire me. It's not the Civic. She tell me go get money, I just go get it. Yo.
Starting point is 00:28:37 She tell me get money, I just go get it. I don't complain about it. I don't, you know what I mean? I don't say, damn, I gotta go work hard. Yo. She like niggas with money, guess what I gotta go do? Go get it. I don't, you know what I mean? I don't say, damn, I got to go work hard. Yo, she like niggas with money,
Starting point is 00:28:45 guess what I got to go do? Go get it. I got to become a nigga with money. Why she massaging you, future? Hey! That's why she be
Starting point is 00:28:59 massaging me too, yo. You have to do, you don't get massaged. All right, I'm starting to figure out why Ice might not like this project. Dog. You don't get massages.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Yo, you can't create a narrative saying I don't like this project. I said it's cool. If you think evil is better than this, then I can't create that narrative. It is better than this. It's better than what? It's better than what? This is my sixth song. The low is on this.
Starting point is 00:29:26 All right, when this record goes off, explain to me the low. I got the Holy Ghost. I don't need to play this, right? I don't need to wait for the beat drops on this, right? Come on. Holy Ghost, that's all right. That's all. About three more, too. I was going to say what I've heard so far.
Starting point is 00:29:50 This is what I'll give Ice. Go to the top of this track list. Track one, I played it. Y'all already know what time it is. And I'm not, my future fandom comes from what he does on the melodic beats. Okay. So he starts off trappy. I'm that nigga. My future fandom comes from what he does on the melodic beats. Okay. So he starts off trappy.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I'm that nigga. Fire. Keep it burning. I don't love keep it burning. It's cool. It's a skip. It's a skip. For a nut.
Starting point is 00:30:19 It's a skip. Puffing on Zooties. Fire. Gold stacks. It's a skip And that will be your last skip on this album That's not true Give me the rest I don't put chicken
Starting point is 00:30:34 This four song run of Wait for you Love you better Massaging me And chickens Is ridiculous And I think that really goes all the way down To the way things going.
Starting point is 00:30:48 I know, but I mean, depending on your mood. Depending on your mood after those four. Those four, five, six. I don't particularly feel that Drake record. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Which one? I'm on one. Not the one I wrote for you. I like that record. That's fine. I'm talking about me. But tell me why, tell the audience want for you i like that record that's fine but why don't me but tell but tell me why tell the audience why you don't like the record fam it's not it's you don't do it for me and that's what i'm that how do you that's my name with fans what either i like
Starting point is 00:31:17 something or i don't but no only a music can we do that only a music can we say that's not true if you if you go to a car lot and don't like a car you know exactly why you don't like that car I can go watch a movie and say the movie just wasn't cool no you know why you don't like a movie
Starting point is 00:31:30 it's art it's art because art is subjective because art is so subjective we just sat here with Ish and talked about before we cut the cameras talking about the Batman movie
Starting point is 00:31:39 and then me and Park said how Joker was good and he was like like you cannot like a movie because you take some it's art I got a reason saying is when you don't like something, you typically know why. I can explain why. Even with art, if I look at a painting and I don't like it, I could say why. I could say because that painting just didn't do nothing for me.
Starting point is 00:31:58 It's depressing. You could say, yeah. Or it just didn't do anything for me. I skipped that. The records that I like is something that I want to hear again. That's when I like something. But I feel like if you don't know, all right, the records you do like,
Starting point is 00:32:12 why do you like them? It's multiple reasons, bro. The records I like, niggas be talking certain shit on there. It's just something that I want to hear again. When I like some shit, it just makes me want to hear this shit over i think i get your point so he's saying are you saying let me ask you first if you can explain why you like a song
Starting point is 00:32:32 you should be explaining why you don't like it i just said the exact same shit when you like some it jump right out why i like it but but you also have sensors to know what you like so when those things pop out like y'all know when it's played some sleepers and they start with a certain chord we know about to get in my i am attracted to that sound that chord that dark that progression that there's certain things in records i like some of these records sound like records i've heard from him before like it's nothing that it's nothing special you've made this song or this type of particular song so nothing makes me want to run right back to this again i don't like that in hip-hop either now as i age what's that but i said that a few
Starting point is 00:33:17 weeks ago because the artists that we like the same shit from we like that from them yeah like push it's a few niggas that it's a lot of niggas that might kind of make the same song yeah and we don't mind it so why do we mind it and with some people and i can't say it's people you don't like because you like future i love future they love future but it could also be because he puts out a lot of music he has a very vast discography so when you get so many of oh this just sounds alright this is cool I want standouts from Future I think a lot of this album
Starting point is 00:33:48 is a standout I ain't gonna hold you that's I think a lot of it is a standout we can agree on that I see these little Future niggas
Starting point is 00:33:54 little Future fans online they talking about Kendrick is somewhere sweating up a storm oh yeah I love when they do that cause he had yeah but I think
Starting point is 00:34:04 I'm not gonna say there's merit to him sweating up a storm but there i love when they do because he had yeah but i think i'm not gonna say there's merit to him sweating up a storm but there's merit to future raising the bar future put out this is our equivalent of a blockbuster project well like when a blockbuster movie comes out like from the features to just him just who he is well i pulled up i would tell him and he delivered i would tell that's what i'm saying Do you think he didn't deliver? Yes, he delivered. But he didn't smack this out the park. Like, this is a home run. Right, so the home run just went over the fence.
Starting point is 00:34:33 To you. To me. This is not a home run to me. I'm saying to Joe's end. Oh, it's a ground rule double? Oh, no, I don't think the home run just went over the fence. He think he knocked this out of the park. He did knock.
Starting point is 00:34:42 This is out of the park. This is gone. When I take the hottest niggas in the game, put them on my sound, think he knocked the shot apart did he did knock this is out of the park this is gone when i take the hottest niggas in the game put them on my sound and everybody executes including me this is out of the park nobody did nobody let down for me because ice you speaking as a future fan right so naturally a hive they want a specific sound from what they looking for right but when you can uh get to the general masses that's why just me which is joe and that's the point he's trying to make that's why it's like which is why we're gonna we're gonna see it different like the future fans have went
Starting point is 00:35:13 crazy over some of his albums and i put this shit on like what the fuck is this bullshit like yo as a future fan a lot of future fans real diehard future fans don't have march madness as a top 10 future record i know they high and high. And see, you'll say that as a casual future fan. No, I say that as a music fan. I know. You know how I feel about that song. But Ish, can you name,
Starting point is 00:35:32 how many, can you name me 10 other future records? But they never got massages. I know 10 future songs. They never got massages. I don't know his discog like y'all, but I know, yeah, they might,
Starting point is 00:35:40 yeah, I got some massages. It just depends on what you like from us. Some things like more, like that pain shit more than the, I ain't hear it, but every song that Joe's played, but that be the trick with Parks. That nigga take a seven, and then this motherfucker,
Starting point is 00:35:55 it sound like a 17. You get it at home, you be like, huh? I don't get that same shit. I'm with Parks. For me, it's tougher for an album to really sound the greatest as soon as it drops. Because we listening at midnight. Yeah, it depends on the album. It's the morning.
Starting point is 00:36:12 It depends on the artist and the album. Some of them do that, though. It's hitting me from the rip. Look at how it came on. Jake Cole, for instance, I loved off first listen. Some of the Ransom. Ransom dropped a project today, too. Shout out to Ransom.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Some of that shit, where I'm gonna be listening that's headphone music anyway for me right it's gonna hit Future is not headphone music for me
Starting point is 00:36:29 Future came on this is loud speakers women dancing what's the time what is it seven something I like what I hear
Starting point is 00:36:35 so far but it's different already when there's people in the room no no no I'm saying the record 7 12 p.m
Starting point is 00:36:40 that's the intro yes I'm talking about the intro Future I cut that on with with AirPod Pros on And was like oh shit First record
Starting point is 00:36:49 I'm like alright here we go So it don't really matter The time or none of that shit Certain records will just jump out and grab you Track two I'm like Oh okay I see where we going By the time I got to three I was like alright Okay this is gonna be a skit So far I could get two and a half miles Off what I heard oh okay I see what we going by the time I got the three I was like alright so
Starting point is 00:37:06 far I could get two and a half miles off have nowhere crazy shit came on I thought I thought he wanted a job that's what I thought I know future... I love when he does this. Come on, man. The way things going, nigga, might not be the back end. Way things going, gotta ride out with the F-ing. Way things going, only family matters. Way things going, make a whole crowd scatter.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Way things going, get the money, y'all top. Yo, that fucking guitar in the back is ridiculous, yo. I don't even hear what he's doing. It is. No, it isn't. I just don't. You my man. I'm telling you that there are records on here that I love.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I'm talking to the future diehard fans out there. I'm talking to the future diehard fans out there. Because I don't think this is amazing, I'm calling it trash. I'm not doing that. Well, you know that in this day and age, it's either classic or trash. No, no, no. I'm not mad at that. He lost me when he said Evo is better than this.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Evo is an 11-song project with, this is what, 13? Not damn near a skit. No, it's like 16. 16. Evo goes. I'm sorry. I like Evo. I love Evo.
Starting point is 00:38:22 And I'm not in a position yet to compare the two. I wasn't. He asked me. I am. I said, this isn't. I'm sorry. I like Evil. I love Evil. And I'm not in a position yet to compare the two. I wasn't. He asked me. I am. I said. I didn't even. I was shocked. He thought that that was Future's second best project.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Yeah, I don't think it's the second best project. I'm surprised Joe doesn't like Evil. There's a lot of people that will disagree with that. DS2. Because that was kind of a dark album. Again, it's how you feel. That's what I said. But I had skips on Evil.
Starting point is 00:38:52 And the songs I liked, I had skips on evil and the songs I liked I just liked there was a song songs on here I see what you're saying the highs are higher that I love and will play will play for the duration of the summer that's what it is not only that i could listen to this and guess what the next three singles might be like it's just this is a great album it's cohesive the music is great like the music sonically right that's these niggas was just hendrix they was in a bag and i just like when i could tell that the feature artist has the utmost respect for the person that called and said come get on this song because you do you put your best foot forward yo we don't get a lot of projects like that you're getting that with a cold a drag you know you know why and future do this too he's in the studio with these niggas that might be a tool where you get a synergy with the person yes like future's always posting up he's in he yo we in here together let's see what we can come up with.
Starting point is 00:39:46 You don't get that today with all this technology. I'm going to send it to you with the open spot. Nigga be in a different mood when he lay his shit down. Y'all in there bugging out. You get it back. You can't tell this nigga. All right, I got to use it. Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:40:01 I'm going to B-drop. We can keep going. Find something else for us to talk about. Oh, it's more music, right? Yeah. I mean, was there? Give me a little bit of Holy Ghost. Nobody's nice, nobody cares I tried to break the issue I let you take away my time Making up my mind Saw my message, you tellin' me she don't understand I ain't gonna make love to y'all I'll be the one
Starting point is 00:40:15 Now I go I'll be the one I'll be the one Tell me the last song you heard Future come on this song like that. You can tell he's excited. Like, he almost sound like, oh shit, that's Kodak. Like that's what that sound like to me. Oh man. Could be mutual.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Yeah, yeah, definitely. All right, Ice here. And then we can move on. Listen, we done played nine tracks. I was about to say, I ain't hear nothing. That's the album. He keep making requests. Yo, this ain't really my vibe, but play this.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Don't do that. Y'all don't really fuck with me. I'm not fucking with you. I'm not fucking with you. I'm not fucking with you. I'm not fucking with you. I'm not fucking with you. I'm not to say, I ain't hear nothing. That's an album. He keep making requests. Yo, this ain't really my vibe, but play this. Don't do that. Yo, I don't really fuck with this, but put that shit on right quick. Why you keep saying I don't fuck with that?
Starting point is 00:41:09 Wait a minute. You know what I'm saying? Out of the dirt, nigga. I just saw you. When I play this at the Skate King. Uh-oh. I felt like a cigarette boat. All this water on me.
Starting point is 00:41:17 I was in my big truck. My wrist up in my big truck. I might get a couple dollars out of it. This the one. I ain't lie. I'm telling you, this is the one. I might get a couple. I'm telling you, this is the one. I'm telling you, this is the one. I'm telling you, this is the one. I'm telling you, this is the one. I'm telling you, this is the one. Like a cigarette boat All this water on me I was in my big truck My wrist up I might get a couple dollars
Starting point is 00:41:25 Out of it This is the one I'm telling you This is the one I might get a couple dollars This is the one I couldn't get past this record You said the one
Starting point is 00:41:34 About seven times I said it for this particular song Every time, yo Every time, bro Everything I said is the same You can't twist me up, bro Ice, go get a massage From a baddie yo that's all go get a massage from a baddie just to be clear what is this a 10 oh yeah i think he i think he was behind

Starting point is 00:42:10 Shit dig tomorrow This is gonna be on Yeah The gas station car show Come on man Yeah The car wash car show Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:18 Oh that's the Oh boy That's the one man That's the one Oh man. That's the one. Oh, man. Don't get ice too excited talking about the car wash. Nah. That's where you, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:33 I got to go pop the trunk and go get something out the trunk. For nothing. For nothing. Yeah, shout out to you niggas with the $30,000 cars, man. Because y'all still be washing them shit. Just be dusty. Nobody care about that shit. But I'm a change.
Starting point is 00:42:48 You hear this nigga? Y'all hear him? I've never had $30,000 cards. It's not a change for me. Damn, son. I had a $1,200 card. You went from $1,200 to $60,000? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:02 See, the $30,000 cards used to be like opulence. We was going to the auction for the hoopty. $2,500. Get you an eight, nine month run out of something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:13 That's true. That's true. Hey, I love my low. So you went from $2,500 to 100 grand? Yeah. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:43:21 See, that's why you missing some shit in the middle. Yeah. That's it right there. Yo, you missing some brain shit in the middle Yeah That's it right there Yo You missing some brain shit In the middle
Starting point is 00:43:28 Right there You went from 2500 To a A Hummer You skipped the 3 series Yo Yeah
Starting point is 00:43:35 Yo you missing some Yeah yo You missing a Cherokee brain You don't have no Cherokee brain Yo What was your What was your Timeline
Starting point is 00:43:45 You never did a jump No I did a jump You did the gradual Yeah I never had a $100,000 car I used to look at niggas I did a jump though
Starting point is 00:43:53 My first car was $1,500 My second one was $33,000 That's a jump though Oh Okay For me though Like
Starting point is 00:44:03 And then we go Move on Oh how do we go from You talk about What I am for me though and then we gonna move on oh how do we go from you talk man what I am oh yeah
Starting point is 00:44:10 this is what he can't wait I hate ice I don't even remember the point I was making just go ahead I don't remember
Starting point is 00:44:18 what I was saying well I'll tell y'all so while listening to Future's album you know then you hit the little tab and see what else is out there sure why because you wanna know everything that drops if you listen to Future's album, then you hit the little tab and see what else is out there.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Sure. Why? Because you want to know everything that drops. If you're listening to Future's album, why do you need to see what else? Because it's my job as a professional to be able to speak about the music that dropped in the field that we cover. Job as a professional. You know what I'm saying? But yeah, so I saw a Pooh Shiesty featuring Gunna record.
Starting point is 00:44:43 And I'm like, like okay where is this from and the album artwork said Shiesty Season Certified so I'm like okay did he drop his album was called Shiesty Season that dropped in 2021
Starting point is 00:44:55 so I'm like what the fuck is this so I click it and it says this album came out April of excuse me February of 2021 but I ain't seen
Starting point is 00:45:04 none of these songs nowhere before. I'm looking at the feature list and I cut Pluto off at that point and ran right to this album and jumped up
Starting point is 00:45:15 and started celebrating. That might be why Ice got a different... I was at the end of the album, though. But you normally listen two or three times. But you normally listen two or three times. Yeah, I did it like that. But you normally listen to it three times. Yeah, I did a couple listens.
Starting point is 00:45:27 But he painted the picture a little different. Yeah, you... I told y'all Holy Ghost was my shit. When I heard this, I immediately cut through those. Don't do that. Don't do that. Nigga. Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:45:38 No, that had to get done. With this, we different. I haven't heard it, so I can't... I haven't understood. I heard it. Get your shit off and so what they did is they took his
Starting point is 00:45:47 deluxe and added another what 14 this is a deluxe deluxe yeah you can't even I don't understand
Starting point is 00:45:57 this shit because it doesn't show as a new album though it shows it dropped last year yeah it doesn't seem beneficial
Starting point is 00:46:03 I don't get it I get the point of re-releasing albums, but it should show up as a new album. As a new album. Yeah. I didn't understand. Why bury it in last year's release? Confused the hell out of me. But when I click play, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:19 You know, you got Doug on there, Big 30 on there a bunch of times. Herbo, I said, oh, okay, this is the album for me. Like, this was, hey, Ice, we dropped something for you. And they didn't tell you? Nowhere finding out at all. But he did a remix. It's probably going to be my sleeper today, I'm going to tell y'all now. Well, he couldn't market it.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Not him. Well, no, he did put a statement out after the sentencing and then said y'all got new music coming Friday niggas love artists that can't market this shit nah what's happening is these niggas
Starting point is 00:46:52 is signing street niggas who just happen to make okay to good music but they really are street niggas and you're dealing with that so yeah
Starting point is 00:47:03 as they pop they keep popping they pop yeah double entendre you see what I did there allegedly I like my artists
Starting point is 00:47:12 with some life expectancy stupid you right my dumb dumb ass I want to invest in like something that's here for a while
Starting point is 00:47:22 the light the streets but this was great for me and for the fans who've been looking for new Pooh Shiesty music I want to invest in something that's here for a while. The light streets. But this was great for me. And for the fans who've been looking for new Pooch Ice-T music, go get this. Okay. Yeah, this was for us. So you ain't go back to the future at all?
Starting point is 00:47:38 I did a little later on, but I ran. You didn't have no choice when you got in my car. I'm talking about. What he was going to do? Nigga, I got noise cancellation. Yeah, but it was going to be on. That's fine. I can still hear what I want to hear nigga I got noise cancellation yeah but it was gonna be on that's fine but I can still hear
Starting point is 00:47:47 what I wanna hear I ain't gotta listen to that I like yeah you niggas can noise cancellation I'm like you won't hear a sound in the truck
Starting point is 00:47:54 in them little ear pods noise cancellation you really got no subs I've done that plenty of times you really don't you'll feel it but you won't hear shit you heard Rand shit

I said, yo, you really just don't let up. I'm going to drop more shit than Mike Tyson. Yo, what the fuck? And they all be fired.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I love it. Shout to Ram, man. You know, Ransom is married, so what else he going to do? But be in the studio and rap. Good point. Shout out to Ram, man. We love you. I heard this is crazy. 38 Special is just hopping on everything, huh?
Starting point is 00:48:44 He need to come back with an album. 38 Special. Yeah. Lil Baby dropped another. Frozen, right? Yes, Frozen is the track. This is the third single
Starting point is 00:48:54 that he's dropped. This actually leaked a while ago, but it's officially dropped today. I like this how you bring a knife to a gunfight they gonna do it twice when it's done right I remember round to the Sun like come on ain't you know how I pop out it bullshit is not
Starting point is 00:49:19 important what I'm about don't play with baby I give you something to cry about that's a down this for you and for your friends to fly off Every time we outside That shit be going up I got women trying to get at me Like you been growing up Really I know you see what's happening I'm steady blowing up
Starting point is 00:49:33 I know niggas want me to fall But I'm steady going uphill Started from the bottom How the fuck I'ma feel If you really came from nothing Then you know how that feel Ain't no inches on the step Cause that's the way that I live
Starting point is 00:49:43 Put some inches on it Bless the hood Yeah that's what I did Yeah Yeah There's nothing really to say We don't got no release date For a project yet
Starting point is 00:49:54 No announcements I know Seems like it's gotta be coming soon He's on the tour with Chris Brown Yeah They gotta both be dropping The signals are out there Yep
Starting point is 00:50:02 The breadcrumbs are in the we don't have a single from Lil Baby for whatever album is coming right well we don't he just dropped two singles
Starting point is 00:50:10 I know but we don't know if this is first single off project or we know they ain't single Lamborghini boys well no that so what happened
Starting point is 00:50:18 I believe it was a couple months ago he said his next project was gonna be Lamborghini boys he was only getting features from artists that own Lamborghinis.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Okay. Yeah, these young niggas got some balls on them. Just think about that, though. Nah. Nah. I fuck with you, but nah. Nah, but you
Starting point is 00:50:38 I mean, but if you How do you drive it? How do you check that? Go to the garage. I can show you my man's Lamborghini, no? Nah, nah, nah, not today. They in the garage. I can show you my man's Lamborghini, no? Nah, nah,
Starting point is 00:50:45 nah, not today. They in the know. Yeah, it's a little different today. You can't get that off. That's some funny shit. That's some funny shit.
Starting point is 00:50:53 So we don't know if that is going to be this project's title. We don't know. So I can't give you a verse just if I was feeling the Tesla a little more. No,
Starting point is 00:51:02 no, no, you can't give me a verse. You're just not going to be on this project. Yeah, you can be on the Tesla boys. I can be on the Tesla boys project? No, no, no. You don't give me a verse. You're just not going to be on this project. Yeah. You could be on the Tesla boys. I could be on the Tesla boys project?
Starting point is 00:51:07 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get your money up, nigga. You can be on that. You just can't get on it. Who the fuck says that? It's not even about money. I was looking for a Lamborghini and couldn't find one. Change your part.
Starting point is 00:51:16 You ain't have no money. You ain't have any. Yes. If you had enough, I'd have found you. They didn't have one. No, nigga. If you had enough money, somebody would sell that bitch. Oh, I didn't go on an extensive hunt you ain't want a lamborghini bad enough there you go well i didn't know they were lamborghini
Starting point is 00:51:32 boys if i knew if i knew if i might have been if i knew my verse got submitted on the album with the purchase then maybe um no i asked about the single because... It's nothing that looks like it's being worked as a single. True. I asked that because I feel, just my own feelings, I feel like he is and has been trying
Starting point is 00:51:53 to condition us to accept a single that's not in the normal realm of whatever you would expect from him as a single. That's what I think a lot of these serious records are gearing up for.
Starting point is 00:52:06 They all have been serious. But he's been doing that. Not as a single. What? I haven't heard the serious single, first single. Let me say that, first single. First single, first single. Because even when he did that fucking, this shit.
Starting point is 00:52:24 The bigger picture. Yeah, when he did that fucking the shit the bigger picture yeah when he did that not a single people tried to people tried to give him some backlash but I think backlash for what
Starting point is 00:52:32 saying that was outside of his world yeah he said it in the song but even though I rap about killing and dope I'm still telling the youngins to vote
Starting point is 00:52:42 like I'm he acknowledges himself like yo this ain't my bag and even said yo don't expect that no more oh please that was that was that was for the people that was mad don't expect that no more for the people that was mad i think his profile blew up uh it did rise yeah absolutely it did no question i think he would like to continue to see his profile you hear him start talking about other shit yeah yeah he's starting to talk about other shit. He's getting into other rooms. That's what happened. Once you start moving into these other rooms and you're seeing the world a little differently.
Starting point is 00:53:11 That growth, yo. Yeah, that growth. Yo, how much you got? Yo, fuck that. Give me three million. I'm going to show you how. Nigga had a line where he said, I keep it one million. I'm too real to even say keep it a hundred at this point.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Fuck it. Even one million, I'm too real to even say keep it 100 at this point. Shit's all right. But this is right in line with him. Nah, it's what he does. This is what he does. He don't steer too. Nah, it's what he does. This is what he does. He don't steer too far away. It's what he does. It's going to be a good summer.
Starting point is 00:53:50 I'm scared. I'm scared of saying that because I said that last summer and it was a horrible summer for me. But I feel like this summer, the mandates easing up. I'll tell you one thing. It did feel good to be on a plane without that mask on. I bet. That mask on the plane. It felt good to get on a plane without that mask. Especially I bet. That mask on the plane. It felt good to get on a plane without that mask.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Especially if you're taking anything over. Stewardess. Four hours. Put your mask on. I'm drinking something. That's why I don't have my mask. Yeah, but you have to drink it
Starting point is 00:54:14 through the mask. I was on a plane. They woke me up. Excuse me? Yo, fam. Sir's not on your nose and your mouth. They be wanting to just talk.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Like, yo, you woke me up for that for real? That's it. that's like a little security guard you know how he was annoying punk in high school now i could that's just the same shit like oh yeah now i could i could exhort some authority now i'm trying to be mad that should just hurt your ears after like eight hours they're pulling on your ear yeah all that you sleep yo yeah and you breathing in the same shit for two hours some bullshit
Starting point is 00:54:46 that's why you gotta get that same airport trip I stopped at a few different stores a restaurant some steak and eggs and that's the best combination
Starting point is 00:54:58 yeah and the airport is run by machines now and it's been run by machines now, and it's been run by machines. But on this trip, I was having trouble with some of the machines, so I called a human over.
Starting point is 00:55:15 And guess what the human did every time? Came over and helped the machine. Wait. So you call a human over like I'm trying to buy this a paper zone do y'all know how frustrating that is
Starting point is 00:55:29 for a human to come over and ignore the human and try to fix the machine now mind you they're not hiring people here that can fix the machine it's just a person that shit different
Starting point is 00:55:43 I went in the restaurant she said she said hey you ate here before right machine. It's just a person. That shit different. I went in the restaurant. She said, hey, you ain't here before, right? I said, yeah, just because I didn't hear what you said. She said, yeah, you know how to order, right? I said, come on. How hard can it be?
Starting point is 00:55:57 Got in front of that menu like, uh. Because I sat down, thought it would be the little press the button, swipe the card. I don't like those too tough. Nah, this shit, you had to scan something I knew it it sent you somewhere in your phone you had to join a newsletter
Starting point is 00:56:10 I don't care for that either you're doing a lot for steak and eggs I don't care for that either that's the new shit now yeah I don't care for that either it's the spot we go to don't make me use my phone
Starting point is 00:56:18 to order food oh yeah you sit down they got QR codes at every table they just be like they'll walk right over and be like
Starting point is 00:56:24 can I get a menu? Yeah, take your phone and just put it over this. Right. And the menu come up here, you got to just do this shit through the phone. I don't care for that. That's where it's at now. That's what it is. Listen, in the airport now, not all the airports, but they got an airport where before you go
Starting point is 00:56:40 into the store, you scan your card. Yeah. That's the Amazon shit. Whatever you pick up, you just pick it up. You don't check out. When you walk out, it rings up all the shit
Starting point is 00:56:49 that you got. That is some scary shit, dog. That's in the airports. Yeah, that shit is scary. I wanted to tell the humans, hey, in the airport, hey, if you guys keep fixing the machine,
Starting point is 00:57:02 you're going to get fired. You won't have a job. Or you just gotta be the only nigga that know how to fix it. So now you're valuable. That's crazy though. Will they ever let you
Starting point is 00:57:14 be the only one that knows how to do it? Hell no. I didn't hear the Scalani project. Me neither. I seen it though. I seen it today. I seen it today. Scalani project. Me neither. I seen it though. I seen it.
Starting point is 00:57:25 I seen it. I heard this project. None of this is going to be played on YouTube. We're just playing music the whole day. YouTube, sorry. We got a 30 minute pause. A lot of music came out. PJ Morton album.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Watch the sun is in your phone right now. There's some shit on there Some of our favorites on there Alex Isley, Nah, Stevie Wonder, Mr. Talkbox, JoJo, Elder Bards It's never gone this far It's never been this bad You turn this off before I call somebody. What's up, man?
Starting point is 00:58:10 Poor massage. Oh, no. She massaging me because she know I'm getting this money persistent. Bitch massaging me because she know I'm getting this money consistent. Bitch massaging me. That's why they don't massage him. I'm not getting that money. That's y'all that keep trying to make them think
Starting point is 00:58:25 I'm getting that money I'm not Ice it's not they can look at you but we can forget it soon they gonna start massaging your head when we go on the spot
Starting point is 00:58:32 they gonna be go to your bald head yeah you getting to it you don't know nothing about that line you don't know nothing about that
Starting point is 00:58:39 I ain't mad at that I didn't hear Kalani's project so I don't have anything to say about it but congratulations to her shout out to PJ Morton this is phenomenal knew it would be

Starting point is 00:59:19 yeah I don't have anything else in music yeah y'all go listen to it y'all go I'm excited about this. I only heard that one little second of the IDK and Denzel Curry and K-Tronata song. Alex said that they're doing a whole album.
Starting point is 00:59:31 I don't know why they're not billing it as such, because K-Tronata's a huge artist. But that shit sounded hard. Yeah, they're going to think K-Tronata done bought ads on this pod the way I keep talking about it. I heard Rust did a little EP out. Yeah, he did a little four-pack. I didn't listen to that yet cause I that I'm running to I didn't find out
Starting point is 00:59:46 about it until yeah I don't like this like not knowing that shit is dropping it's because they only put the shit on the front page that pays for it
Starting point is 00:59:53 that shit is getting annoying it's been annoying for me yeah me too yeah it's hard when you're trying to find you know
Starting point is 01:00:00 some new shit they don't design this for you to find new music not at all they design it to find the people that they want you to find. Yeah, they push it.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Yeah, it's not the goal. All right, so festival season continues, concert season, whatever you want to call it. Summer Jam's lineup was announced. It's a nice one, too. I didn't even get my hate out and I have to walk my hate back.
Starting point is 01:00:20 No, you got a few words of the hate out and quickly stopped yourself. Quick, real quick. You started reading and said, uh-uh. Well, no, give them the hate that you was hate out and quickly stopped yourself. Real quick. You started reading and said, uh-uh. Well, no, give him the hate that you was about to spread. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That you was about to spread.
Starting point is 01:00:31 He said, oh, Summer Jam lineup is out. This is prior to seeing the lineup. I say, Summer Jam ain't for us no more, man. It's for the kids now. They don't play none of the acts that I want to see. See, now, and that take is funny because- You like all the young kids yeah but they
Starting point is 01:00:47 well that and if you've ever been to Summer Jam I've been there it's dangerous yeah especially once it starts raining and you in the Brooklyn section
Starting point is 01:00:55 and it is going to rain and the Brooklyn section is everywhere yo that's really interesting that it rains every summer. Every summer. For your whole life. That's odd. Shit is crazy.
Starting point is 01:01:10 No matter what day they move, they move that shit to August one time. It rain. Can't avoid it. It's part of the show now. All right, so that was your hate. Yeah, that was my hate. And then I looked at the lineup. I just glanced at it.
Starting point is 01:01:21 And apologized to Ebro. Yeah, Ebro. Just call Ebro right now and apologize. I don't have his number. Ebro. Yeah, Ebro. Just call Ebro right now and apologize. I don't have his number. Ebro. Yeah, my bad. I hate it without even seeing the lineup. And the lineup is Fabio Farrin, Lil Durk, the real one.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Do y'all know that the fake Durk has a fake him? There's a third degree of Dirk? There are people running around faking the fake. When does it stop? Never if there's a dollar attached to it. Or a little internet notoriety. Like last pod, I was in here saying, I don't know why these guys are doing this.
Starting point is 01:01:59 And everybody said, you know why they're doing it. Of course I know why they're doing it. I know they're getting paid. That's how you get yourself jammed up. I'm going to go take that little seven grand. I don't even know why they're doing it. Of course I know why they're doing it. I know they're getting paid. That's how you get yourself jammed up. Starting point is 01:08:21 Kim. Shout out to Kim. Now, you, what could go wrong at a Babyface Kim concert? Well, for some strange reason,
Starting point is 01:08:33 Kim came out after Babyface. Huh? Huh? I'm gonna say it again. For some strange reason, Kim came out after Babyface.
Starting point is 01:08:45 But it was the Babyface concert, right? Like, that's what it was billed as? I don't know what it was billed as. I know what got my mom out the house was Babyface's performing, and chemistry is there. You just don't think that Kim is coming on after Babyface. So Babyface goes out there and does 90 minutes of nothing but hits.
Starting point is 01:09:08 And okay, your turn. You can't follow that. They start leaving. They left. Babyface is a little older. Maybe he's like, nah, give me the early shit. Yeah, he might have had
Starting point is 01:09:18 somewhere to be. Yeah. Because I can't make sense of that. Kim should have had somewhere to be too. If I'm... I had somewhere to be too. If I'm talking about I like him. Me too.
Starting point is 01:09:28 But that should never happen. Yeah. Come on. And he shouldn't agree. He shouldn't allow that. He should not. It's like having the chili that's going on at the end of the game.
Starting point is 01:09:38 Good. That was dope and all that, but little flips. Fam, come on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:48 There's nothing else to say about it. That's all I got for these festivals. That lineup is crazy. That lineup is nuts. Yeah, this is nuts. Something in the Water, yeah. Both of them shits. Ida Kunle Go, Shanti Ja Rule.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Listen, just look it up. Just look it up, because there's a lot of great acts out there. It might be a good summer if I could get out the house if I could get to some of these functions yeah you just gotta go you just gotta get going
Starting point is 01:10:11 just buy a ticket just gotta go so then you have to go no I don't buy a ticket you be old and lazy yeah you gotta really just put it in action
Starting point is 01:10:19 exactly cause you be like there's been times I bought this Thursday you like yeah yeah yeah we going Saturday nigga be like yo just don't feel like it bro
Starting point is 01:10:27 yeah you gotta really get up and say yo I'm doing this alright this is what it is treat it like you get excited I got my fit ready you gotta do one of those
Starting point is 01:10:36 otherwise you just fuck around and get old and be like alright I'm chilling I'm playing step in the name of love this summer
Starting point is 01:10:43 I'm just telling you don playing Step in the Name of Love this summer. I'm just telling you. Don't nobody look at me funny. I might throw on your body score. I'm going to look at you funny. Just, just. Is there a good cover at least? We'll be in the middle somewhere.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Somewhere. Yeah, come on. I'm just, I'm listening to it. I'm listening to it. The one. Not the re-recording. I'm going to. What are they going to do? Nothing. Nothing. I'm just going to look at you funny. That the re-recording. I'm going to... What are they going to do? Nothing.
Starting point is 01:11:07 I'm just going to look at you funny. That's it. For listening to Step in the Name of Love. For playing it like that at the kickback. I'm not kicking back with niggas. I'm a homebody. I'm home by myself. I ain't going to know. Do what you do. I ain't going to know what you're doing in your career by yourself. I ain't going to be an instant live.
Starting point is 01:11:23 Hey, yo! I could play a song and not think he's innocent. What the hell? The kids trained us into that shit, yo. I could, yeah, I'm not doing this with you. They got you, too. They ain't got me. Half my favorite artists did it.
Starting point is 01:11:41 Oh, my Lord, yo. All right. Moving right along along so the cops went in ASAP Rocky's house and executed a warrant and they found weapons none of the weapons match
Starting point is 01:11:56 the weapon used in the alleged shooting it was reported that they allegedly have video of the shooting oh man and all the guns they found were lawfully purchased legally registered like
Starting point is 01:12:11 this is legit exactly take that 12 and now y'all fix my gate now y'all fix my gate and my door and whatever else y'all fix my gate oh okay now y'all fix my gate and my door whatever else y'all bust to get in here
Starting point is 01:12:26 that is true I just hate that they're going through all this while Rihanna's pregnant like that's just the nasty part like anything that
Starting point is 01:12:35 happens with the baby daddy affects her child yeah yeah that's the only part that's nasty hopefully he'll be fine
Starting point is 01:12:42 um what else there's nothing else in music, right? Please say no. I don't think so. I think that's it. There's nothing more. I think that's it, bro.
Starting point is 01:12:50 I think we covered all the music. We out of here with music. Unless you want to talk about the white girl rapper. You will bring that up. Give it to us. Yeah, come on. There's a white girl rapping little baby songs on the internet, and everyone was talking about it, and she got famous off of it, and that's weird.
Starting point is 01:13:09 No, there's some more. Mm-hmm. There's more. There's more. A Drake follower? No, they got her saying the N-word, I think. Mm-hmm. Quick open, quick close.
Starting point is 01:13:19 Hey, hey, hey. Oh, they ain't going to cancel me. I'm not mad at her. She used it. She's talking to a raccoon. What? She was called a raccoon and nigga. What?
Starting point is 01:13:36 I've been wondering since then. Nah, I got to take. I got to take. I got to take. Are you sure it was raccoon? Because that could be double problematic. Oh, my God. Yo.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I'm just, if she was saying racist shit, like. See? A bobcat. Oh, a bobcat. And I'm joking. She shouldn't use the word. No.
Starting point is 01:14:01 But what's our take? Come on. Why y'all just. Why do we care about this shit'all just Why do we care about this shit? Why do we care? She knows the lyrics to the song.
Starting point is 01:14:09 It's cool, man. Exactly. Neat. Nah, it was impressive to me too though. Because there's a lot of words in that song.
Starting point is 01:14:18 To know all of them words. But that's a real white girl thing to do like sit in your room and learn all the words to the song that nobody knows all the words to. And then do it at a wedding with your little white girlfriend like sit in your room and learn all the words to the song that nobody knows
Starting point is 01:14:25 all the words to and then do it at a wedding with your little white girlfriend with a butt light in the head yeah I don't care yeah I don't understand
Starting point is 01:14:33 I wish we stopped doing this shit good for her knowing rap songs word y'all will make a motherfucking famous
Starting point is 01:14:42 word quick for very little and then get mad when you uncover something from their past now you know you get mad you didn't know them
Starting point is 01:14:49 right yeah you get mad when they get rich and you see they bought a 16 million dollar house somewhere cause y'all dumb
Starting point is 01:14:56 motherfuckers made them rich and now you mad at them yeah now you mad at Black Lives Matter y'all knew what the hell y'all knew what the hell was going on yo the people they ain't supposed to be mad at they never get mad at it only me matter. Y'all knew what the hell was going on.
Starting point is 01:15:07 The people that ain't supposed to be mad at ain't never get mad at. Only me. Come on, they mad at me. I just wanted to talk about it. You're trying to cancel you again. What you did this time, Joe? Yeah, I wasn't even trying to say they was trying to cancel. They try to cancel.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Yeah, I try to work it out. Once a year, every other year. Every other few months. But this time, you know the drill. They take a clip from the podcast, put their caption underneath it, and spin it for their audience how they want it to be spun.
Starting point is 01:15:41 And that's what happened here in our discussing of the Meg topic or mine which was a very nuanced talk uh it was going kind of jumping around and then i made an example i wasn't comparing i made an example and then they all said oh he's comparing this situation to that situation which is always nasty especially when uh domestic violence is involved so I understand that but these blogs are political I know that
Starting point is 01:16:08 and there's business in that like in that particularly yeah no question they make money yeah my thing is
Starting point is 01:16:16 there is an important conversation to be had here unfortunately we can't have it yeah there's really no way no way to do it there, we can't have it. Yeah, there's really no way to do it. There's no way to have it.
Starting point is 01:16:29 I keep saying, bro. It's a feud that needs to be had in society. Politically, you just can't really have them. You can't have them. You can't even have them in a real helpful way.
Starting point is 01:16:45 You know what I'm saying? Some of these topics, not this particular topic, but other topics in today's society, we can't even have them if we're missing information or we're curious about how you feel like that. You can't have them today. You can't have the discourse. You can't even ask questions. You can't say, I don't understand. If you don't know the information, you want more information.
Starting point is 01:17:03 I'm just asking to learn Right And it's I just would like more information And you cannot ask You can't It's Certain topics
Starting point is 01:17:10 You just can't bring them up Yeah Personally I just leave them alone completely Yeah There's no careful way to navigate So I just stay the fuck out the window And unfortunately You don't get information that way
Starting point is 01:17:22 Like let's just say Parks is a white guy. I'm a black guy. If we really wanted to sit down and have conversations about certain shit, in today's society, it's hard to do.
Starting point is 01:17:33 Maybe not with a white man and a black man, but with two different people that are experiencing different walks of life, today it's hard to even sit down with them, like, and have a conversation
Starting point is 01:17:43 because people are going to take any negative thing or any question that might be lack of knowledge that's what i mean i'm talking about you're literally trying to get to some common ground and understand somebody else and you can't no it's either it's either you be all for me or shut the fuck up shut the fuck up that's it that's it there is in between. I saw people saying that we hate certain people just because we said, all right, let's just get more information on this. Oh, that means you hate this person. You hate people like this person. Like, no, I don't hate anyone. I'm just trying to learn here before I just jump out and say something that I could be wrong about.
Starting point is 01:18:23 before I just jump out and say something that I could be wrong about. Right. With anything, I'm trying to get as much information as I can, use my brain, make a logical decision, and then say it. Yeah. Yeah, like I got a lot of, you can't tell victims how to heal or how long it should take them to heal that's true right
Starting point is 01:18:50 I'm gonna say it no I'm not no I'm not cause there's no way to do it no there's it's impossible yeah there is no way to do it and i know y'all get tired of me saying it but it's the times we are in there is no way to say it just so we're clear everybody in here is against domestic violence right absolutely of course all right just so i'm clear a thousand percent of course either way yeah either
Starting point is 01:19:25 way yeah but that's where you can't have the conversation i know can't have the conversation so even in that new news has came out about the rob kardashian and black china child so this is kind of indicative of the opposite but you don't hear the same uproar that you hear when let's go through it a little bit rob kardashian testified wednesday that he feared for his life on a night in 2016 when his then-fiancee black china pointed a gun at his head pulled a phone charging cable around his neck and repeatedly hit him with a metal rod while under the influence of substances oh shit she strangled me she put a gun to my head twice she She was on cocaine and alcohol. His voice rising nearly to a shout in the courtroom.
Starting point is 01:20:10 China is suing Rob Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kim, pardon me, Chloe and Kylie, alleging that they spread false reports of her assaulting him in order to have her keeping up with the Kardashian spinoff, Rob and China, canceled and ruined her reality TV career. And that's where you want to have to talk. You want to you want she want to abuse him and still get a show with him.
Starting point is 01:20:39 The closing argument of the Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial Johnny Depp just played the audio. Johnny Depp's lawyer just played the audio of Amber Heard saying. That was the closing argument. Yeah, that was it. Yeah, that was it. That was it.
Starting point is 01:20:52 Of Amber Heard saying, oh, please, I wish you would go tell them that. Tell them that this is domestic violence. Let's see if they believe you. And she had, but no, that comes from somewhere. Yeah. That comes from a level of entitlement that people have go ahead tell them i dare you you're gonna sound like a bitch number one telling them number two they never gonna believe you right you get what i'm saying like you have been conditioned to the point where you believe that you are above the law it's like when the
Starting point is 01:21:22 cops damn they tell you yeah call them call whoever you want to call fuck out of here what they what they gonna do that's this it's a similarity almost like where you feel that nobody's gonna she was punching him they got they got clips where he's recording her and she's hitting him and she's like stop being a bitch i couldn't really hurt you i didn't hurt you i wasn't punching you punching you she's saying that that's crazy to him audio her voice audio her voice not a recollection it's her on the tape saying it I heard cancel culture say a word about it not nothing I haven't heard a peep out of anyone about anything and ice is right you can't have this conversation but boy thank God Johnny Daveny depp was recording and just i saw a petition going around with had damn near 2.2 million signatures trying to get her removed off
Starting point is 01:22:13 of uh aquaman 2 after this like they are trying to cancel her to an extent like they've started i should say they're trying to affect her well no they no, they probably saw Aquaman 1. I think that's what happened. But see, like, even... But look, look, look. All jokes. Even making a joke on it... It's dismissive. It's dismissive. It is dismissive.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Even that. Like, it's just what we have today. Two months ago, a girl accused Chris Brown of rape. Imagine what happens if he did not keep the text messages and the voice notes he would spend a couple hundred thousand dollars to prove his innocence knowing that you fucking innocent she don't got to prove his guilt the burden of proof ain't necessarily on that no more it's believe them which they should be believed be clear of course but sometimes fam we've seen ample instances of motherfuckers lying.
Starting point is 01:23:05 Yeah. Yo, but this is the thing. Even when the cops want to believe what you're saying, they ask questions. You could tell them what your alibi is, and they're going to ask you more questions just to make sure. Right, right. I don't know why we can't ask questions today. And see, that's why I get so triggered. I can speak about my own personal experience, right?
Starting point is 01:23:26 Like, I get triggered because that's what happened to me. I talk about it all the time. Went to court for three fucking years, spent all of this money, and they was going to send my ass up the river, if not for a nosy neighbor recording something and letting me know that she had to record it for me to show it to court.
Starting point is 01:23:43 She had to go find it in an old phone somewhere for me to show to court. Hey, this young lady that you're saying all these horrible things I did, she got in my car, we was chilling, I drove home, that was that. Now once they saw that, oh, this case is out of here.
Starting point is 01:23:57 And even then, it took them a little while. But once they saw that, then it was over. Thank the Lord. You know what happened? And that's the conversation that you kind of want to try to have. I read the transcripts from court. This is in a courtroom under oath.
Starting point is 01:24:16 This is not pod talk. And that shit say he shot at me and I got back in the car. It's a normal question to say why'd you do that am I off no no no you're not off now here's the problem today and in certain instances today who the fuck are you to ask why exactly you're Exactly. You even asking why is now viewed as an attempt to dismiss the victim or potential victim. So when that happens, that's the way it's framed. No, I was going to say that. It don't matter why.
Starting point is 01:24:57 No, no, no, no, no. Why don't you just believe? No. Because you're asking questions in an attempt to discredit this person. So it means you don't believe them. That's the way way it's taken i'm not saying that's the intent that's when you start asking these questions why'd you do this why'd you do that well you're supposed to just believe victims why are you asking these questions to begin with that's the way it's framed the young lady that is going on this rant about me. She's documented after all the abuse stuff saying
Starting point is 01:25:30 my abuser is my emergency contact. If I were ever in a jam, that's the person I would call to save me from the jam. That don't beg a fucking question? No. No, because you can't say nothing. No, not so much.
Starting point is 01:25:50 Not to me so much. Tell me. A situation could have happened. How could you explain that? I'm about to. Situation could have happened. And the gentleman could be dead wrong. I believe today he would think he was dead wrong.
Starting point is 01:26:04 I can't speak for him. I don't know him. Never met him. Of course. But I would think if you asked him, he would say I was dead wrong. He'd want to reprieve. Gotcha.
Starting point is 01:26:12 They made up. They are at some level of common ground where their friendship may now still have gotten back intact. I love you. I trust you. We can't necessarily be in this space and let me finish you ready though we can't necessarily because you're right we can't be in this space anymore
Starting point is 01:26:31 on an intimate level of that type of uh nature but if something would happen to me i know you love me and you got my back so i know you would handle the situation accordingly beautiful that makes sense because i have a question to that. If that's been repaired, like we friends, right? So when you speak, I expect you to speak to how the friendship is and how firm it is. So if we've been repaired,
Starting point is 01:26:57 then why would you go back to when we weren't repaired or such a dark, horrible time? Why would you take every instance to tear me down if you if we've been repaired or it could be if you've healed i i'm just i'm just playing devil's advocate now but i don't know if that happened i didn't never see that happen but um it could be brought up to help somebody else that was going through that if it's brought up with the intent to tear the other person down or tear the man down then that's terrible but if it's brought somebody else is going through it and they like, look, sis, I've been there. I'm going to help you using my own instance and my own experience to help you.
Starting point is 01:27:34 Then I think that's fair game. But if it's only brought up to tear down the person. You know what? You're right. Let me use me. Let me use me because I feel comfortable speaking about me. And in my shit yeah in my case i don't want to hear no more shit about nothing if we done been in a club together we done been
Starting point is 01:27:50 on tv together we done been in the hookah spot together mad times i bought a mattress from you you was trying to fuck me you wanted to get back like that's what i'm saying yo that's what i'm saying basically if we got past it let's be past let's be past it it's kind of what you're saying no but don't weaponize some shit because you mad at something else don't be mad that your abuser won't get back with you so now he's just an abuser for the rest of like huh no but it might be that that it's a motive does that make sense no okay now you were saying what but in that instance there may be a motive no self-interest no maybe not just tearing you down the motive might not be to tear you down the motive might be a self
Starting point is 01:28:37 self-interest yeah i like that but you can't never pinpoint that because the conversation is so sensitive so you can never ask questions to find out if there's self-interest involved in this i'm shutting up because i probably have spoken more than i was supposed to speak on this but my man can't i won't we need to invite somebody here so we can have these conversations i'm gonna find a lady we need to invite like some type I need to invite Dr. Jen or like somebody here to like really unpack
Starting point is 01:29:09 that and that's all I'm saying in the podcast yeah that's even that was a lot yo shout out to all domestic violence victims
Starting point is 01:29:19 survivors just so we're clear and yeah yeah yeah I don't I know y'all love to take the clip and nobody here is in support of like we are all against domestic violence absolutely so no matter what y'all say about us yeah like we are all against it so don't try to spin this to oh yeah they promote no no no it's none of that we want to be able to and i'm not even talking about domestic violence this is about just anything that comes across
Starting point is 01:29:51 my phone screen i think we want to be able to just ask some questions about things not in attempt to tear nobody down not in attempt to discredit anybody we just want information with anything a little kid come up and tell you something you're gonna ask him a question to find out all right what else happened okay how did that happen okay to try to put the story together right it's just it's anybody with a brain just wants to know more information before they open their mouth well you would think you would think um what else do we got here we have uh we did the white girl rapping right uh terry cruz issued an apology for his insensitive inconsiderate nasty statements
Starting point is 01:30:34 uh around the time of damn cops have killed so many of us i don't remember now what time that was was that uh george floyd it may have been, yeah. I think it was George Floyd or Eric Garner. One or the other. But Terry Crews came out with just the most. You know, we've been killing him for a while. But he's apologized. Okay. He said he was wrong.
Starting point is 01:31:04 He understands the error in his ways he said he loves black people he said a lot of shit in his apology uh i don't really have much to say about it but i just thought it was important for people to know that he did attempt to apologize hey i'm not against nobody apologizing if they saw the error in their ways and they learned from it you know i'm not against an apology. Because nobody's perfect and we all reserve the right to just learn. Yeah, I was going to say, we're all learning every single day. So I think we should actually applaud and normalize apologies and learning.
Starting point is 01:31:37 And learning. It's okay to apologize. It's okay to be wrong. Own it. Everyone is perfect on the internet. And that's the only place it's a good point you know i'm saying like if you especially if you talk for a living as terry does as we all do as a lot of people that become internet fodder do you're probably gonna say some shit that's
Starting point is 01:31:57 wrong at some point it is what it is but as long as you apologize and move forward we should be accepting of that my thing with my thing with apologies are the words don't really mean that much to me. I don't really care about that. Show me that you apologize. Show me that you, you know. An action. Yeah, show me an action. Don't repeat that mistake.
Starting point is 01:32:16 Like, you could. Yeah, okay. You know what I'm saying? Don't repeat the mistake. I've learned from this. I'm never doing that again. It was fucked up. I truly apologize
Starting point is 01:32:25 Oh shit My words hurt people Sometimes yo It takes you actually Hurting somebody To realize the power That your words have Absolutely
Starting point is 01:32:33 You don't know that When you just Talking Yeah I used to talk Like on my timeline And shit And I never realized
Starting point is 01:32:41 I was hurting people Until somebody put me To the side And was like Yo dawgs That fucked me up What you said bro right i'm like word like you know i'm playing nah that fucked me up and then that's when it hit you you don't know your reach you don't you don't know not even the reach you don't know i'm saying you're not your words and exactly that's what you
Starting point is 01:33:01 don't know the impact that it has because it could be somebody that i speak to regularly it ain't about the reach it's just you don't i don't realize the impact that it has. It could be somebody that I speak to regularly. It ain't about the reach. It's just I don't realize that, oh shit, what I'm saying is really affecting me. Yeah, that's happened in, fuck the internet, in podcasts and blogs and all that shit. That happens sometimes in regular life. You'll be at a party or somewhere and you say some shit and someone overhears it and they think you said something crazy about them or something. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:33:21 That shit happens all the time. It could be addressed right there, though. True. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes someone shit happens all the time. It could be a dress right there, though. True. But sometimes someone might not feel like there's a spot for it. It's a wedding or a funeral or, you know what I mean? Like, there's been plenty of situations I've seen where people have dragged out a thing just from a side conversation. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:33:39 Like, it's not real beef, but. But yeah, like I said, I'm all for apologizing with action meaning it meaningful apologies like don't just say it because I got don't apologize because I got caught
Starting point is 01:33:52 and there's some repercussion now those are the ones I don't fuck with I hear you but I also I don't like judging apologies you know what I mean like it's kind of hard to say yeah but what did you do
Starting point is 01:34:03 to fix it like just because you may have said but what did you do to fix it? Like, just because you may have said something wrong. You don't got to fix it. If you sincerely thought you were wrong, you shouldn't repeat that. You try to stay away from me.
Starting point is 01:34:13 Oh, yeah, sure, sure. You shouldn't repeat that. That's apology is change behavior. People will verbally beat your ass verbally every day. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:21 And then apologize. And when they apologize, they look at you and like, I said I'm sorry. Right, right. and then the next week they'll beat your ass again and apologize again that's not an apology to me
Starting point is 01:34:29 it's like the person now we on this topic it's like the person the dude that comes home and whoops his wife's ass three four times a week he's apologizing every single time
Starting point is 01:34:38 he blacks your eye nigga you not sorry right cause you gonna do the same shit next I already know it's coming right you gonna do the same shit next week so you not sorry. Right. Because you're going to do the same shit next. I already know it's coming. Right.
Starting point is 01:34:46 You're going to do the same shit next week. So you're not sorry. Yeah, I feel you. Because I think apologies in action are apologies. Sure. Change behavior. Change behavior. At the bare minimum. Change behavior.
Starting point is 01:34:55 That's what I, you know what I'm saying? Like, you're not really sincere. You're just saying some shit that sound good. Right. Fuck out of here. Can we just take a moment to applaud the Giants? Yeah. The Giants were big winners two days ago.
Starting point is 01:35:13 To me. Fact. To everybody. The Giants and the Jets. Detroit. Detroit I liked. Baltimore I liked, even though they traded away Hollywood Brown, which I don't know if I love that. But I get it.
Starting point is 01:35:28 They ranked them. Who's that? Like the experts who rank every team. They had Baltimore up high? They got an A-plus. A-plus. Oh, okay, yeah. What was the Giants ranking?
Starting point is 01:35:37 A-plus, I'm sure. It should be. I'm sure it's A-plus. They should be celebrating the Giants, man. No, because I have not experienced that with my sports teams. Seriously. Yeah, yeah. Yo, they got a meme of you standing next to the TV.
Starting point is 01:35:51 In shock. They picked Danny Downs. That was funny. Giants got an A. Danny left our plus off. Could have been a plus. Boy, that Danny Dimes draft is only funny because of the two names
Starting point is 01:36:06 that went right after him. Right. Studs. Now, at the time, I was jumping up and down because I'm like, you need a quarterback. Dwayne Haskins is there.
Starting point is 01:36:14 Yeah. I remember we had the conversation. Rest in peace, Dwayne Haskins. But, yeah, there was some other studs on that board
Starting point is 01:36:22 that they could have taken. As a Knicks fan, the Knicks have not extended any of their rookies since Charlie Ward. So clearly they're not in the business of developing talent and keeping the
Starting point is 01:36:36 homegrown talent. The Yankees used to always be in the business of just buying the biggest name out there. And now for some reason they've changed that business model and the Mets do it. You know, for some reason, they've changed that business model, and the Mets do it. You know what's crazy with the Yankees, though? The Yankees would do that, but they still had the foundational pieces.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Like, I think to win, you need superstars, and you need the good, regular Joe Schmoes. Like, the Yankees had both, yo. The Yankees were known for not having a farm system. No, I'm talking about the Joe Schmoes were good. The Paul O'Neils, the Tinos. Them niggas wouldn't. Oh, those guys, did you name them?
Starting point is 01:37:16 But they wasn't superstars. Oh, yeah, that's what you're saying. I'm talking about the farm system. I'm talking about the 17, 18, 19 year olds that are in the that we waiting for you to come up and we're developing the talent right so the Yankees just spent
Starting point is 01:37:30 now the Mets are spending and the Giants they never I don't remember I don't remember watching a draft and feeling like I felt last night so the Jets come up at pick four actually let's start at pick four.
Starting point is 01:37:46 Actually, let's start at pick one. Because all the analysts told me that this white boy was going first, and Jacksonville gets up there and picks the black guy. Cool. Well, that means that Aiden Hutchinson's second. And here come the Texans picking somebody. Nobody had Derrick Stingley Jr. going at three to the Texans. Many people didn't have him going before Sauce. He's fighting an ankle injury.
Starting point is 01:38:14 Like, got footage of being that dude, but three off an injury? And then Sauce goes four to the Jets. Good pick. Great pick for the Jets. Good pick. Great pick for the Jets. I think if they didn't pick Sauce, then the Giants take Sauce at five probably, and I might not have loved that. I might not have loved that for the Giants.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Premium player, premium position at that spot. That's where you want to spend. You don't want to, because the first 10, this is the problem, is that the first 10 picks get paid substantially higher than the rest of the draft. It's on a scale. You don't want to get in a position where you're paying a guard $25 million because you picked him second. That's typically how everybody drafts.
Starting point is 01:38:55 I think they just draft the premium guy at 4 or 5. They don't necessarily draft their need. You get what I'm saying? Their core need. There's different approaches. Some people take best player available. Some players pick the trust. Go down a little more.
Starting point is 01:39:11 But a quarterback, you're okay with paying $20 million plus. A wide receiver, a quarterback, you're okay with paying that. You don't necessarily want to do that with a safety or a guard or a running back or something like that, typically. I don't even do it with the receivers. So they get to five, the Giants. Market done changed. And I thought they would fuck it up.
Starting point is 01:39:30 I never looked at Tibbs because Tibbs wasn't supposed to be there at five. No, he was projected to be like a first, second, maybe third pick. Yeah. And the slip they had was him going fourth to the Jets. I never looked at him. So when they took him, I was like, oh, shit. Because now it plays out.
Starting point is 01:39:50 Now you know that the Panthers are going to take fucking Icky. I thought they were going to take a quarterback. I don't see that. No, no, they ain't taking a fucking quarterback. Panthers are needy, but I get it. They did the right thing, I think. Now you have your pick between Icky, Evan Neal, and Charles Cross at pick seven. The three best.
Starting point is 01:40:10 Offensive line. That couldn't have worked out better. Evan Neal's a beast. He is. Play either side. He's a beast. And that's going to help because the Giants. Offensive line is trash.
Starting point is 01:40:23 But Evan Neal and Andrew Thomas bookends finally that's nice finally yeah I watched the Giants draft offensive linemen
Starting point is 01:40:33 for 10 years and miss word Willie Hernandez just left to draft pick our offensive lineman draft pick from a year two years ago
Starting point is 01:40:41 he's out of here like so this is that was just great not only as a Giant fan, but as a New Yorker for the Jets to go draft good. Garrett Wilson at 10. Stud. Stud.
Starting point is 01:40:54 I like the Ohio State receivers. The Jets got two picks that I thought the Giants might pick if they tried to get cute. And what I like about the new regime that is over there from Buffalo, they ain't trying to get cute. To the basics. We build it. To the basics. We start from, not scratch, but close to it. And the biggest move
Starting point is 01:41:12 of the night for me from the Giants is the new brass not picking up the fifth-year option on Danny Dimes. Round of applause! I mean, listen, you guys could be in play for Malik Willis in the second round. Second round.
Starting point is 01:41:26 Potentially. He's on the board. Yeah. I think we are picked 34 or 35. So you're right there. It ain't but three or four teams picking before us. You think they'll do that? They might do it.
Starting point is 01:41:38 They might do that. Because I don't think the Giants have a first round pick this year. Yo, listen to his voice. They might. Yo, they might. You got to understand, when you've been let down, you got to update your draft meme. Like, show me now. been let down, they're the fourth pick in the second round. Update your draft meme.
Starting point is 01:41:47 Like, show me now. What'd you say, Parks? Fourth pick in the second round. And Tennessee's ahead of them. They got a quarterback. Minnesota's ahead of them. And Jacksonville, right? Tampa Bay, actually.
Starting point is 01:41:55 Which you could potentially see them do it, yeah. They'll do it. Because Tom. Just a fuck around. Stay in there. I believe that Tom Brady Miami Dolphins rumor. Me too. By the way.
Starting point is 01:42:08 I believe it now. All of it. 100%. Yeah, to a degree. My degree is 100%. My degree. I believe it. I mean, it's...
Starting point is 01:42:17 That's why all them sports niggas kept saying, I don't think he's done. Stop it, man. That would have been the best move I've ever seen in sports. To retire, be the co-owner, and then quarterback for the team that you're co-ownering. That's like some
Starting point is 01:42:33 50s football shit. That's fire. Player coach. Yeah. Jackie Moon shit. And if there's one person that could have done it, it was Tom, man. Shout out to the Giants for a great draft. Can't wait to see what happens tonight. Giants, Lions, and Jets had the best
Starting point is 01:42:49 draft to me. I was just looking at the grades. There's a lot of A's and A pluses for them teams in this draft. Yeah. Like everybody fucking Cowboys had a C. Dallas did what? They got a receiver? Yeah, a tackle. Oh yeah, they got an offensive lineman. I think it was a tackle to replace
Starting point is 01:43:04 what's his name? Steelers went and got a QB. Yeah, Pittsburgh. Tackle. Oh, yeah, they got an offensive lineman. I think it was a tackle to replace... What's his name? Steelers went and got a QB. Yeah, Pittsburgh guy, man. Steelers got that guy. Ice, what do you think? They wanted him. They got him.
Starting point is 01:43:13 Yeah. That's it. He looks like a quarterback. He's 6'5". I don't follow the college players that much, but everything I've read was this is the guy
Starting point is 01:43:22 for the next decade. Okay. Homegrown kid. Yeah. So I'm not mad at it. Let's see if he can beat out Trubisky. The last thing I read was even if he don't beat out Trubisky, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Starting point is 01:43:40 Mitch might still be all right. Mitch might be okay this year. That's what I was thinking. I wasn't mad at Mitch. Not me either i just didn't want i'm not mad at i'm saying let's see if he can beat him because uh when they have when they have in a quarterback they quarterback competition and you don't expect for this guy to beat this guy and he does it anyway oh got you it's like oh shit now we have now we have a decision to make see what i what i think at the quarterback position i think it's damn near better to let them chill for the year.
Starting point is 01:44:07 For sure. I agree. I agree with that. No bullshit. Unless they want to learn. Yeah, very few. It's only few. It's only few.
Starting point is 01:44:13 Nah, but you can learn on the field. You can, but I'm talking about from the quarterback. Your brain works fast enough. But from the quarterback position, the game is way more mental than physical. And it's a different game when you get to that level. Yeah. So the mental shit, like some of the different game when you get to that level. Yeah. So the mental shit, like some of the greats,
Starting point is 01:44:27 they sat on the bench. Yeah. If you got someone... Fucking Mahomes was sitting on the bench. Yeah. If you got someone solid there, I think it's better to let them sit on the bench for you.
Starting point is 01:44:35 I think it fares better for them long term. Or then you get in a situation like the Chargers did or like a whole team where someone gets injured and now the rookie is started. Yo, don't we have enough information now
Starting point is 01:44:49 in just the quarterbacks in the draft and how they're drafted to never listen to the analysts again when it comes to quarterbacks? The analysts just be talking, yo. I was about to say, I don't think... Mr. Biscay going before Pat Mahomes. What were y'all seeing on film, right? Like Lamar Jackson being the last pick in the first round.
Starting point is 01:45:07 That was... And Josh Rosen, y'all. That was... They going to the traditional shit. Yeah, the league typically frowning upon black quarterbacks. Like, the shit that Mahomes does, you can't... I don't know if you show that in the workout. I don't even think...
Starting point is 01:45:23 Like, he shines, my in the in the botch and also you guys you do have to put some credence into landing in a great system with a great quarterback to learn from like lamar i'm not sure that i'm not obviously my homes is that dude if he goes to chicago i don't know that he might not be the same system matters you know system matters coaches matter because like lamar they modified that whole team to fit his game. Baltimore is one of the best running organizations in football. Not that many teams would have modified everything we already do for you. Right.
Starting point is 01:45:52 A 20-year-old. A lot of motherfuckers won't do that. So, you know what I'm saying? Right. He wouldn't have fit a traditional system. He wouldn't have went to other places. But that was the knock. That was the knock off the rip about Lamar Jackson, that he's not going to fit a traditional system. Like, he can't. He's not even going to succeed here. He can't throw. He don't have went to other places. That was the knock. That was the knock off the rip about Lamar Jackson. That he's not going to fit the traditional
Starting point is 01:46:06 system. He's not even going to succeed here. He can't throw. He don't have this. He just wants to run. It's not going to work. Okay. Let's design a system for him. Malik Willis reminds me it just seems like how disciplined he could be like Lamar Jackson Jr. He could be. Like Jr. Jr.
Starting point is 01:46:21 Not like right underneath Jr. Jr. Not one Jr. Not two. He's probably a guy that you want to sit behind right underneath junior. Junior, junior. Not two. He's probably a guy that you want to sit behind a bridge quarterback for a couple years, most likely. Y'all worked your whole life playing football. You're a number one top prospect. Been that way since high school. Now you're projected to be drafted in the top three. So, of course, you're invited to the draft.
Starting point is 01:46:43 Do y'all choose to go to the draft or do you choose to watch it at home with your family? I guess it depends on where it was. I guess it would depend on where the draft was. It's in Vegas. Give it to me. This year. Because I was really excited that Trayvon Walker was home with his family. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:46:55 The scene of the living room with all the friends and family right there, your girl, whatever, that shit is kind of fly. I like it. That's kind of fly. But that being said, if your family
Starting point is 01:47:05 has a couple dollars you can fly everybody out and they can do the same shit in Vegas. You drafted one, two, three. I gotta spend my rookie money I'm in debt already. Park said if your family
Starting point is 01:47:14 got some bread. Yeah, I said your family. He said if your family got some. Some kids come from good families. You know what the NFL draft didn't give me this year, man? And let me not they didn't give it this year, man? And let me not.
Starting point is 01:47:25 Yeah, no, they didn't give it to me in the first round. That's the only place it could happen. I didn't get my CeeDee Lamb moment. I was waiting for it. The closest we got was the, what's the name, the just drafted. The receiver walked the wrong way. Yeah, that was no fun. That's not fun.
Starting point is 01:47:42 That was no fun. That's an easy mistake. No, that was sauce. That was sauce that walked the wrong way. Oh, it was no fun. That's not fun. That was no fun. That's an easy mistake. No, that was sauce. That was sauce that walked the wrong way. Oh, it was sauce? Yeah. Steady Lamb, when he got drafted, was home with his family, with the white girl. She tried to take his phone.
Starting point is 01:47:54 She took his phone. Give me this fucking phone. Fucking wrong. I wanted to see that. And the year before, we got a similar something with a girlfriend. Yo, why do girlfriends do that at a draft? Because, nigga, it's camera time. Everybody want to be famous.
Starting point is 01:48:07 No, because that's the time to find out who your other chicks is. I know your other chicks are hitting you saying congratulations. Let me see. Nice. And that is the time to get a little nervous, too, now. Oh, yeah. Oh, my man I've been loving on just got drafted. To the Cowboys?
Starting point is 01:48:22 I'm searching his phone. That's so funny. I'm searching that, bro. Look, get that phone, bitch. Yo, he was looking at one. He just did this shit subconsciously like, my phone, yo. What the fuck is you doing? If you got drafted, would you want only your girl to be texting you?
Starting point is 01:48:40 I'm asking. I'm asking. What you mean? Like, in this moment. I'm a 19-year-old kid. Hell no. No. This girl's sitting right next to him. I know. I'm asking I'm asking him what you mean like in this moment I'm a 19 year old kid hell no no this girl's sitting
Starting point is 01:48:46 right next to him I know so she's saying better not have nothing on that phone alright you better it's gonna be more than this
Starting point is 01:48:55 you got your own phone right it's still the first round you do understand she has two phones your phone and hers it's still the first round I'm drafted get used to it
Starting point is 01:49:03 you see how his sister Looked like her You're a Viking I need Man come on You think I need sisters yo Come on dog
Starting point is 01:49:10 Yeah the sister was Getting ready Learn her one real quick She was gonna turn Y'all got sisters Yeah Not Parks I know you got sisters
Starting point is 01:49:19 I have two You have two sisters They younger though They don't get busy They don't Nah Nah. They don't? No. No, the young sibling be the one. They not.
Starting point is 01:49:28 No, I'm just saying the young sibling be the one. Yeah. Come on, let's get to it. NBA playoffs? Yeah, NBA playoffs. I heard y'all. I heard all y'all. Y'all was ready to pop shit in my mentions.
Starting point is 01:49:41 Y'all was going, oh, yeah, y'all going to blow it. Six is going to lose it in seven. I my mentions y'all was going oh yeah y'all gonna blow it yeah six is gonna lose it in seven i heard everything y'all said and right away you know the conversation went to so did doc rivers you know the conversation went to right away yeah but y'all can't beat miami like don't change it no let's stay here though so i want all that smoke that y'all get yo they was i don't think niggas really thought tor was going to be Philly. Nobody thought that, yo. But that's the point of a colossal collapse and choke. And with Doc Rivers, it was very possible. I think Doc Rivers. See, that didn't just be boring, yo.
Starting point is 01:50:16 I don't like that. Yeah, I don't like that. That is be boring. I liked what he said about that, too. Even though he shouldn't have said that. That's what got him in trouble with Ben Simmons. He was like, yo, go look at that Magic team that was the AFC that I coached.
Starting point is 01:50:27 Go look at it. It's basically calling niggas bums. Or not just that talented in relation to other people. Bam, you're known for the collapse at this point. Stop, stop, stop. Yes, you are. That's not true. Then the other one he said was the bubble.
Starting point is 01:50:42 Anything can happen in the bubble. And he said the other one he owns, where his team was great. The Clippers was great, and they just choked. They're a good team. That's the one you own. I don't think he's just a choke master. I didn't say he's a choke master. There's been collapses that happen on your watch.
Starting point is 01:50:58 That's going to happen when you're the ninth winningest coach of all time. Multiple collapses. That's happening right there. Ninth winningest coach of all time. In collapses that's happened right there. I'm the ninth winningest coach of all time. In recent memory. You can name two collapses.
Starting point is 01:51:09 Back to back to back to back. It's been, it's been, bro, this has been the thing. I like it. They didn't make it up. I like it.
Starting point is 01:51:14 I like Doc a lot. I like Doc. I like Doc, but I'm just saying they didn't just grab this shit out of thin air. I'm a rock with the Clippers. The Clippers was some bullshit.
Starting point is 01:51:24 That's the only one I'm going to really give them. Come on, we're in the playoffs. We all got Clippers. Doc Rivers is in the playoffs. Let me ask you a question. How do you think y'all truly fare against Miami? Listen, I told y'all I got my team coming out of the East. I told y'all that.
Starting point is 01:51:37 I'm going to still rock with my team. So how do I think we fare against Miami? I have my team coming out of the East. That means I have us getting past Miami. How many games, Ice? In what fashion? Dominant fashion? Like, that's what we're asking.
Starting point is 01:51:47 Heat's six. Six. Philly in six, so he wins two games. Oh, you play them niggas the fuck out. Heat's tough. It's always the team.
Starting point is 01:51:57 I don't know if y'all get that. It's always the team, just ain't there. Boston's tough, too. That don't mean I can't... East is pretty good this year, actually. I can talk my shit.
Starting point is 01:52:04 The critique, the sport. Nigga, the Heat are good. Yeah. I don't give a fuck't The East is pretty good this year I can talk my shit The critique The sport Nigga The Heat are good I don't give a fuck If I was a Philly If I'm Y'all know I'll give it up
Starting point is 01:52:11 The Lakers I'll be like Yeah they gonna beat us I'll tell the truth The Heat is good They are good Golden State is good Suns are good
Starting point is 01:52:22 Suns are good man Chris Paul What you said? 14 to 14 You see any sports things Man these guys are good Sons are good man Chris Paul What you said 14 to 14 You see any sports things Yo what you said the other day Fools gold I think the sons
Starting point is 01:52:34 Fools gold Really Whoa Whoa There you go Now you got you a fucking take Now you got you a take Fools gold
Starting point is 01:52:41 I watched them This nigga's crazy I watched them Get your shit on They didn't look great They can't defend Yeah They can't look great in that series. They can't defend. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:46 They can't defend. Only motherfucker out there playing D is Bridges. They cannot defend. And I watched New Orleans push them to the limit on them games.
Starting point is 01:52:55 New Orleans would have had a little bit more veteran leadership. They would have won game three, two. You also looking at them without Devin Booker. True, he came back. But you watch most of the series without him.
Starting point is 01:53:11 That's the case. New Orleans can say when you have Zion. Not the same at all. It's not the same. I don't know. Because I'm not talking about star power or what they bring to the team. I'm only talking about defense. I'm only talking about defense.
Starting point is 01:53:23 So it's different when you have perimeter defenders out there. That's the thing about that. Yo, yo, I feel bad for that guy. What's his name? That John Moran dunked on like that. Y'all changed his Wikipedia page to John Moran's son. Yes. Malik Beasley.
Starting point is 01:53:41 Malik Beasley. Malik Beasley ain't a bad player, number one. And two, boy, that perimeter defender in front of Jot stepped to the side. Oh, yeah, he did. Yeah, he did. He let that go. He stepped right to the side. If I'm Malik Beasley, I'm punching dude in the face in the locker room.
Starting point is 01:53:59 Look at this. Look at this. This has to be the worst perimeter D, and that's what I'm talking about with Devin Booker. Like, perimeter D changes things. Look at this. See, he look like he perimeter D, and that's what I'm talking about with Devin Booker. Like, perimeter D changes things. Look at this. See, he look like he about to guard something up. Feel for the... Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:54:10 And then they always throw their hand. Look. Yo, he didn't really... Don't run back on D. He didn't really step to the side. He played him to the pick, and my man thought he was going to have to go around the pick. He didn't do nothing.
Starting point is 01:54:21 There was two people there that did nothing. Did you see where he copped that shit from? Yo. I'm too much of a bad sport for that. Yo, I told y'all that Utah was fool's gold. Some people here argued with me. Come on, give it to me. You did.
Starting point is 01:54:32 I didn't think Utah was that good. I didn't think Utah was good. I'll argue with you about Denver. I think Denver's very good. They won a game. I know. I think they're very good, though. I don't think Utah and Denver are the same.
Starting point is 01:54:43 But it's cool. Both fool's cool. Both fools gold. Both getting blown up soon. Maybe. I don't think they're going to break them up. I think they'll break up
Starting point is 01:54:53 Utah before Denver. Because Denver always has that out that Murray's not there. They can always lean on it. Our starting point guard is not there. Two starting point guards?
Starting point is 01:55:05 Michael Porter Jr. Michael Porter Jr. is not there either. Sostar point guards? Michael Porter Jr. Michael Porter Jr. is not there either. So we can lean on that. Bad back all-stars. Yeah, we can lean on that. Fuck are y'all talking about? Now, if they had the niggas with the bad backs, then they would really do some damage.
Starting point is 01:55:21 So that's what I think. Utah might be getting blown up very soon. They're going to do something. That's possible. They got to make some changes. This summer. Yeah. Something's going to change over there.
Starting point is 01:55:29 I don't think Dallas beats Phoenix, but I don't think Phoenix could beat. I think Golden State blows Phoenix out the gym. So you got Golden State coming out the east? West. Excuse me, out the west? I do. I've had that. I got Phoenix still.
Starting point is 01:55:41 me out the west? I do. I got Phoenix still. Yo, Phoenix couldn't stop the Pelicans. Golden State is high power H2O. Them niggas not playing, bro. I watched them play. They put it up. And they play D.
Starting point is 01:56:00 So, I don't know. I'm going to give Giannis his props. If Giannis comes out the east, he the best player in the NBA. I don't think. I'm going to give Giannis his props. If Giannis comes out the East, he's the best player in the NBA. I don't see that happening. I don't think it's happening. I really hope. But with no Chris Middleton, if Giannis comes out the East, he's the best player in the NBA. I like Boston.
Starting point is 01:56:13 I want Milwaukee to beat Boston. Boston Golden State. I want Milwaukee to beat Boston because that might sound like shit back there if you're talking. Now, yeah, I got Celtics Warriors, yeah. There we go. Celtics. Those are the most well-rounded teams Warriors, yeah. There we go. Celtics. Those are the most well-rounded teams that's left. And that's a good matchup. I don't want to take a shot
Starting point is 01:56:29 at Miami, but those are really well-rounded teams. What do you have? Miami's very well-rounded. All aspects of the game, Miami's good. I like Miami a lot too. I have Golden State. I don't care who they play. And you had them from the beginning. Yeah, I don't care who they play. I got, as a Sixer fan, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:56:46 I got Philly beating Miami. I told y'all in six. Golden State smokes any team in the East. I don't want to play Boston. Boston is scary to me because Jason Tatum has to continue to ascend, and he will. Yeah. Yeah. Like, this is not a fluke. And that's a good matchup because they're good defensive guards versus good offensive guards.
Starting point is 01:57:04 I don't like Boston that much. All right, I'm done with sports. Well, actually, you want to talk about Dwayne Wade? Why blue? He was... He said it? What did he do? What did he say, Joe?
Starting point is 01:57:20 He said he used to, when he was young, he did a podcast. He said when he was young, he used to wear his sister's clothing and heels and dresses and shit. Man, I don't feel no way about it. I mean, let's move on. I'm not, it doesn't shock me, but I mean. Okay. What did you feel? Hmm?
Starting point is 01:57:40 You had a take? No, not a new one. All right. Yo. So hot. All right. You have to edit out not a new one. What are you talking about? Yo, can we part about anything anymore? No, nigga. I was saying if you had a take.
Starting point is 01:58:00 I wasn't trying to be funny. You heard my take before on this. I ain't saying it again. Say it. Huh? Say it. No. No.
Starting point is 01:58:10 I'll tell you what. I'm glad that Dwayne Wade is sharing these details today. I'm glad that he's open and honest and feels free to speak about some of this stuff. Uh-huh. There you go. There you go. There you go. You got to know how to play with him. You got to know how to play this stuff. Uh-huh. There you go. There you go. There you go. You got to know how to play with him.
Starting point is 01:58:28 You got to know how to play this game. I think he's putting on a fatherhood clinic. Because regardless of how he might personally feel, he's still got to be supportive of his kid. You get what I'm saying? So if you being Dwyane Wade, the superstar, the athlete, You get what I'm saying? So if you being Dwyane Wade The superstar
Starting point is 01:58:44 The athlete The Very Revered individual Can make your kid feel somewhat at ease By saying whatever you're saying And if it helps Then
Starting point is 01:58:54 Even if it's not true You get what I'm saying? You say he don't mean it Even if he didn't That's my point He's doing it for the kid. He's still doing it for my kid, to make my kid feel more welcome, to make my kid feel better.
Starting point is 01:59:11 Whatever the case may be, to ease his kid along in transition, I think is dope. There was another interview going around of Willow Smith saying she had a resentment with her mom because her mom wasn't wasn't such a supportive part of her getting through her mental health issues and her depression and What's up with that?
Starting point is 01:59:36 I could go the rest of my life without hearing anything else about that family. She had to forgive her mom for overlooking her anxiety. Okay. I'm glad you were able to forgive your mom and you guys have moved to a better place. No, thank God. I love that for you guys.
Starting point is 01:59:57 Thank God. Praise him. Yes. Yeah, you moved my favorite pussy into my house. I'm going to forget some shit too with my kids. Oh shit, y'all niggas ain't eight tonight. My bad, I was bugging.
Starting point is 02:00:14 Yeah, we be right there, Parker. Yeah, right there. We be right there, then he just got to grab the wheel. Just me, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah. just me yeah yeah yeah y'all some bullshit
Starting point is 02:00:30 come on come on yep just you toes look like oh man it's good you know niggas
Starting point is 02:00:43 ain't the best dads when they favorite pussies around. Stop, yo. Yo. You said what? Go play. Go play out there.
Starting point is 02:00:59 Them knobs. Go knock on his door, okay? Can I get some chips? You know where you're at. You know where everything is. Get that ladder. Get the little step stool. My kid's calling me daddy.
Starting point is 02:01:17 My favorite pussy's calling me daddy. Who do I choose? Which daddy am I today? Decision's a decision. How do I weigh in? Holy shit. Oh, man. Go ahead, Uber Eats.
Starting point is 02:01:31 Go ahead. You got a phone right here. From the iPad. Can I get your ass? Come on. These are jokes, people. These are jokes. I know sometimes y'all don't know how to take us But these are jokes
Starting point is 02:01:45 Oh Kevin Durant Charles Barkley Still going at it Are they Oh my god Oh man yo Oh man Call the bus rider yo
Starting point is 02:01:55 Yo come on man Yo KD be wildin KD be wildin yo Oh man He can't He can't help it Yo, KD be wildin'. KD be wildin', yo. Oh, man. He can't help it. Can't help it, man. This is just funny, but I mean, I do agree with Charles' point.
Starting point is 02:02:16 Which one? Maybe not how he said it, but. Which one? The one of if you're driving the bus, if you're the leader of the championship team then your experience is different than the the roster on the bench he was saying i don't want to hear 12th man and bench knife man off talking about hey we won the championship shut up you ain't with shit sit down no man i can't roll so he was saying that Kevin Durant
Starting point is 02:02:45 is not the driver of the bus because when it's time for him to drive they lose I disagree but
Starting point is 02:02:54 you can't disagree with that that's a fact yeah that's fact you can't disagree with that one part until he does it he hasn't done it
Starting point is 02:03:01 let's say in the Golden State era does it, he hasn't done it. Let's say in the Golden State era, he may not have been... Who was the driver of that bus, Steph? Andre Ma. Undoubtedly. Those two. Undoubtedly. For me. The fourth quarters came, that nigga KD had the ball in his hands every damn
Starting point is 02:03:23 every play. That don't mean that. It means a lot. It means you're the best player on the team. So I'm driving some buses. No. We was alternating. Tony Parker. Tony Parker and Lonnie Ginobili had the ball a lot in the Spurs dynasty.
Starting point is 02:03:36 They were never driving the bus. They weren't KD either. They were not KD on that team. Well, nobody's KD. No, I know. I'm just saying. But so, nigga, you take the wheel. I'm riding back.
Starting point is 02:03:49 I'm asleep when you're driving back. It depends. So let me ask you a question then. Barkley was. It don't matter because he didn't win. Because he never won. And I didn't like KD's pictures that he used trying to say Barkley went and tried to team up and do the same thing
Starting point is 02:04:07 Barkley ran up with people that was past their primes you ran to the 73 win team that just beat you last year it's a little different it's a little different well the point that Jalen Rose made or one of them made was and this is why it's just a great
Starting point is 02:04:24 point KD went The point that Jalen Rose made or one of them made was, and this is why it's just a great point. KD went from up 3-1 to the Thunder, leaving there, going to Golden State where he wasn't necessarily the driver of the bus. And then you wanted to leave that amazing situation. You left it. Kyrie, Cleveland, you wanted to get the fuck out of there as the leader. Boston, you were the leader. You wanted to get the fuck out of there as the leader. Boston, you were the leader. You wanted to get the fuck out of there. You wanted a different leadership position.
Starting point is 02:04:49 You wanted to lead it yourself, do it yourself. And that's what this is. And if that was an example of you both leading, then y'all need a crash course. So you can't really argue that until they do it. I think they need a full season before we can say if it was a bust or not. Stop it, I do. Come on, dog. That's my personal opinion. I can't even argue that until they do it. I think they need a full season before we can say if it was a bust or not. Stop it, Aja.
Starting point is 02:05:06 Come on, dog. That's my personal opinion. I can't even let that fly. Bro, that nigga played 30-something games. Bam. He played 30-something games. Why did he play? It don't matter because the government put down a mandate that he couldn't play.
Starting point is 02:05:19 You're right, but everything is cause and react, right? You're right. So, again, I'm not going to necessarily—it's a're right. So again, I'm not going to necessarily... It's a political conversation, bro, but I'm not going to put my potential long-term health to the hazard for basketball. I disagree with all the analysts that killed Kyrie because he didn't want to get the shot.
Starting point is 02:05:34 They compare him to Andrew Wiggins because Andrew Wiggins didn't want to get it, and then he got it, and look at where they're at. No, if you don't want to get the shot, then you don't have to get the shot. And look what happened. He was right. They changed all the fucking rules,
Starting point is 02:05:44 and now look, voila, I'm eligible to play. Yes, our team don't want to get the shot then you don't have to get the shot and look what happened he was right they changed all the fucking rules and now look voila I'm eligible to play yes our team don't have chemistry now but I can play I like this rant that Kyrie went on a lot of these media corporations make their money by degrading black African
Starting point is 02:06:00 indigenous community heroes they thrive off of it and then sell it back to us by having a hand selected person or group of people spark controversy about them for the world to see well what do you know sounds familiar just watch all the people who wake up every day and report about people's lives on tv and social media and then profit off of them then they justify their jobs by saying they get paid to say how they feel lol it's like these people live in a fantasy i love him man round of applause yeah but you know what the other side of that fantasy
Starting point is 02:06:30 that statement kairi lives in a fantasy because if these people don't report on you and don't pay attention to you then if they're if these analysts aren't watching the nba and the nba is not getting this much coverage guess what y'all don't make as much money. That's not true. I don't know. Fam, if nobody is watching and who's nobody? You said analysts. I'm saying, no, no.
Starting point is 02:06:54 It's covered through the popularity. If y'all get a TV deal, I should get more money. Fans are going to watch. They got a TV deal. The analysts play a part in it. I got more money. This plays a part in this. Analysts play a part in it. That's what I'm saying. This plays a major part in this. The got more money. The analysts play a part in it. This plays a part in this. Analysts play a part in it.
Starting point is 02:07:05 That's what I'm saying. This plays a major part in this. The analysts are not... I'm not saying the only reason or nothing like that. They're playing a part in it. They're not that vital to how Kyrie makes a living. It's the same thing with every critic. Every critic...
Starting point is 02:07:19 It's a fine line between criticism. Certain shit, I'm going to just keep it a buck. The way Stephen A. Smith went on a tear for him all season. I don't like it. It's horrible, my nigga. He personally did that all season long. That shit is disgusting. Because I don't share your moral compass.
Starting point is 02:07:36 Like, I put my family and my potential long-term health before basketball. My job that I'm going to end when I'm 30-something years old. And not just that, in in basketball they'll dump you on your fucking head once you outlive your usefulness correct they don't give a fuck
Starting point is 02:07:49 about me and my family long term so why would I give a fuck about them and it long term I'm saying that's anywhere don't give a fuck about no Nets
Starting point is 02:07:55 nigga the Nets will trade that boy tomorrow absolutely so that was Stephen A. Smith's thing yo basketball basketball like yo
Starting point is 02:08:02 you letting your teammates down. These teammates might not even be my teammates next season. Yeah. I don't think Kyrie needs to sacrifice who he is for his job or the amount of money. No, I'm not saying that. And I think he feels that way, too. I don't want to. Maybe I said it wrong.
Starting point is 02:08:17 It's not just you. I saw a lot of people say to him. I'm not. But you have to understand, this comes with the territory, basically, what I'm saying. When you're in something that's popular, there's going to be critics. There's going to be criticism. That is true. And that comes with the popularity of the sport, the job, whatever you're doing.
Starting point is 02:08:32 True. Shit, sitting here. True. Sitting here because this show is popular, I understand that there's going to be people that's going to talk about the shit we say and do no matter what. That's true. You can't have the good without the bad. But what you're saying, I don't think what you're saying is in response to what he's saying no it's not and i had a fan hit me like because i retweeted
Starting point is 02:08:49 some of this and i was like i love this guy but the fan was like i mean i get that you love it but could you really love it isn't he somewhat talking about you too no he's saying i tear him down like that just so no let's really read what he's saying he is talking him down like that just no he is he is talking about us maybe I misread this he's talking about us we might not necessarily do that to him he's saying that people
Starting point is 02:09:11 wake up every single day no no stop let me I don't try not to cut you off no more but before you finish we not only
Starting point is 02:09:19 don't do that to him we try to not do that to people we try sure like we will make jokes satire cool but in a serious in a serious matter we don't really turn around people's feelings right and that's where he's saying a lot of these media corporations make their money by degrading black african
Starting point is 02:09:40 indigenous community okay stop right there okay stop right there what i take that as is as this is the business it's like when it's like when the sports center talk about the cowboys for x amount of blocks when there's no football we're well we know why we're talking about the cowboys in this a block right now who's better pat mahomesomes or Dak Prescott? That's just an example, not of what he's saying, but about the politics and why we talk about certain things. They had Jerry Jones on the thumbnail
Starting point is 02:10:11 for First Take or something the other day. It's like, yo, the Cowboys are like the 20-something pick. What are you talking about? They unpacked that. What are the Cowboys
Starting point is 02:10:19 going to do at 24? I said, excuse me? Right. Holy shit. Hey, man. You know what I mean but I'm saying so he's not
Starting point is 02:10:28 I don't think he's talking about people that share their I was on a second tweet the first tweet he's a thousand percent right because what they'll do is they'll tear the black people down
Starting point is 02:10:37 then so you don't look as if you are trying to tear the black people down you gotta go get a black to relay the message you understand what black people down you gotta go get a black to relay the message you gotta go get a black person to relay the message the message don't come off the same if Molly's saying it
Starting point is 02:10:54 or yeah the message doesn't come off the same when they're talking about Aaron Rodgers true you get what I'm saying we can A B this very easily so that's the thing like yo you gotta go get a black person to do it a hand selected group of black people that they go get to push their message or their narrative and then it don't come it comes across as genuine
Starting point is 02:11:16 my nigga he went on a crusade against this boy all season long and i just don't think that was cool yeah every day all day and I don't think it was cool. He did like some academic shit. I know. You know what I'm saying? All fucking season. He wasn't letting up. He was just on it.
Starting point is 02:11:33 Yeah, he wasn't. J. Will, who I love, and he normally takes the opposite stance as Steven in some of these matters. He came out the other day and said, he apologized to Ben Simmons for anything that he said on the TV about the outfits that he chose to wear and how he's bringing attention to himself and carrying
Starting point is 02:11:48 himself on the next bench uh and he said he will never do that again he said he has some really important private conversations and actually to this he said i never want to be the guy that's tearing down my brother when they're telling you hey i'm going through something mentally no matter whether you believe it or not. He said, I've seen enough. I know something is going on. And if there's a slither of that that's true, then I'm not adding to that.
Starting point is 02:12:16 So I apologize to Ben Simmons. I was like, I love how J. Will just goes. He's the only Dookie I love, yo. And Kyrie. Got a point. Can you believe J. Will and Kyrie went to Duke? And Tatum. Nigga, they don't play.
Starting point is 02:12:32 I like Black Dookie. And Zion. And Eagle. It's hard for me. It's a lot of them niggas. Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, my God. It's about to happen. It's about to happen.
Starting point is 02:12:44 The Heat going to do it. The Heat going to clothesline that little boy I don't like on the bus. He won't do that to them. It don't matter. They going to do it to him? It's coming. They going to clothesline that little white boy. He went to Duke too, right?
Starting point is 02:13:02 Grayson Allen. Grayson. Grayson fucking Allen. He going to get it. You made Grayson Grayson fucking Allen he gonna get it I just remember PJ Tucker said he talking to niggas yo I don't care about your little sports parlays you got a problem I'll fuck you up in the street he said something like that so PJ Tucker's mad not really mad but he's saying I don't care about y'all sports bets I don't care if I fucked up your bet. Yeah. Come see me.
Starting point is 02:13:26 Do something about it. Durant was saying that for a minute, too. Like, people been going off ever since the sports betting shit kind of, like, spread out and became super legal. Yeah, but P.J. Tucker really punched you in your face. And now there's somebody on the other team for him to punch in the face. Well, they got to get there. P.J. Tucker punched you in the face. Oh, they got to get there.
Starting point is 02:13:45 A few of them niggas on the heat will punch you in your face. Oh, wait. The heat is playing Philly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's like that. It's not going to happen this year. Who the Bucs playing? Boston.
Starting point is 02:13:52 Oh, they're not doing that. Ain't nobody. They're not doing that. Oh, fuck. Marcus Smart. He's not doing that. He's not going to do it. Defensive player of the year. I'm too valuable to be missing games.
Starting point is 02:14:01 He already just beat somebody up before he was drafted. It cost him some shit. He ain't chilling. He ain't trying to get paid. Zion Williamson says he'd sign extension with the Pelicans. Bet you fucking will. Good. I like the Pelicans.
Starting point is 02:14:19 You know you want Zion. You don't want him now? Not now. They got a good little nucleus. It don't look like he gonna stop eating. It don't look like.
Starting point is 02:14:32 Hey, man. You know how good food is out there? I'm about to say, New Orleans food, I wouldn't stop eating either. Crawfish every day. Butter me up. It's not a craw or a fish
Starting point is 02:14:41 that is worth 40 million. He come to the Knicks. I'm taking that nigga right. I don't know if he ever had the food done. He don't get that tummy get there I don't know if he ever had the food done he gonna get that tummy tuck we gonna get that out of there
Starting point is 02:14:49 your treat your treat don't come bring your little overweight dunks over here thinking we gonna get excited in New York no you gotta be good again
Starting point is 02:14:56 no I'm Starlet's girls I get the weight right off him quick will they quick quick fast Zion got the nerve
Starting point is 02:15:04 to be was on the bench fucking clapping and cheering for the team to try to win. Wait, excuse me? What are we supposed to do? No, you're supposed to be on the court trying to help them win. He's not supposed to be clapping, smiling. Yeah, get him, B.I. C.J. McCollum.
Starting point is 02:15:20 He hurt. The fans was hurt. The fans got to look like that. We might have could have got these niggas without Devin Booker. If you have. He's sharing in the crowd. I liked Pelican. Word.
Starting point is 02:15:37 I think they got a nice little young spot. I was rooting for them. I was rooting for them. I wasn't rooting for them. I wasn't rooting for them. Come on. Y'all take us somewhere. Do we got any front of the shows
Starting point is 02:15:48 yes part of the show my bad part of the show we had a good one too part of the show we have Christian here
Starting point is 02:15:56 okay what's up Christian I'm calling Christian Christian says oh shit did I get rid of what Christian said here we go okay christian says after watching the episode with e how is entering a relationship expecting monogamy not a form of insecurity
Starting point is 02:16:16 i'll repeat that because it sounds confusing it does how is entering a relationship expecting monogamy not a form of insecurity? I had to repeat that for my own. It's like a double negative. It took a little second for me. And I still haven't completely processed because I'm not sure. I'm not. I want him to expound upon what he means.
Starting point is 02:16:40 So let's call Christian. I was a hard one. I'm going to have me some fun with this one. Let's see. I think I get the question, but I would love to hear it. I'm going to just argue whatever the other point is that y'all take. Hello, may we please speak to Christian, please? This is him.
Starting point is 02:16:58 Christian, what up? Christian, how you doing? This is the Joe Budden Podcast. What's up, y'all? How you doing? All right. We couldn't be better. We're a little confused by your question, so we need you to expound.
Starting point is 02:17:07 You say, after watching the episode with Imani, how is entering a relationship expecting monogamy not a form of insecurity? Expound, please. You know, the the idea of of entering into a monogamous relationship, if you are assuming that if that person has to be monogamous with you, why are you why are you asking for that? Why is that something that you need? And is that a lack of trust? Is that an issue? And so that was kind of where I was coming from with the back and forth between when when I was on that episode was kind of that assumption with monogamy, because when you think about it, right, like the whole idea to tell someone that if you want to be in a relationship with me that has intimacy involved, that has going out to dinner involved, that has shopping involved, that has all these different layers involved, and the only way that you can do that with me is if you don't fuck other people. That to me is an insecurity on the person's end.
Starting point is 02:18:06 That's forcing that on that person. If the person wants to be open, why is it a person's act? Why is it an, why is it an insecurity to you instead of a boundary? Well, no, that's what I'm,
Starting point is 02:18:17 that's what, that's exactly what I was getting at. So for me, ask for that boundary, but don't force it. And I think that forcing it is a sign of insecurity. If you layer it as a boundary, that's different. I think they're one and the same. I think a boundary is just a cuter word. I understand your point. I think you want to go first?
Starting point is 02:18:40 No. want to go first no i i think you asked it's a bunch of um parts to your question one of them i think that we've just been taught to do what our parents told us was right or what the government or what society has told us is right so if your parents wasn't faithful yo because if you grew up in a if you grew up in a a mormon household they don't look at it the same. If you grew up in an Islamic household, they don't necessarily look and view everything the same as we've been taught in America under our quote unquote Christian ideology. So I think that most people kind of force that because that's trained behavior. Like, yo, you should only be with me. And if you're not with me, then that means you don't love me. I think that's something that just was taught to us, I don't see it as an insecurity,
Starting point is 02:19:29 though, even though I get your point, I think that it's a choice, I think that when two people get together, and they communicate what their expectations are, or they should communicate what their expectations are, you decide on how far you want to go in this relationship if you want to move forward or not. You can't just assume that because you think a boyfriend-girlfriend situation means monogamous that the other person is going to think that. I think that's a conversation that needs to be had
Starting point is 02:19:57 amongst the two people. Yeah, and I think part of, too, where I was coming from also was I think if I remember correctly with that episode, one of the parts of the back and forth was that the woman is like you all were talking about whether or not a man can bring insecurity to a woman. that the fact that Imani would, the fact that anyone has to sit there and say the words that, hey, look, you can't, like, none of my, if me and you had any sort of relationship, none of my boys can talk to you.
Starting point is 02:20:34 None of my boys can date you. None of my boys can go out with you. And I'm saying that I think that that comes from an insecure place. And so I think that if a woman says that a man, or honestly, I'm gay. So it's like any relationship, right? For that matter, any type of relationship where the person says that you cannot be around my boys or that that person comes in and says that I got scars from this person. I think that all comes from insecurity. And part of that insecurity is forcing a way of life on someone that they may
Starting point is 02:21:05 not want. And that's where I think the difference between boundary and kind of the insecure side of it, because if you're reason, if you're upfront from the beginning and you place those boundaries, then there's no need to be insecure. If those things aren't clear or you felt forced, then scars can be created from that. In my opinion, that come from a relationship that didn't have the communication foundation to begin with. So there were a couple of different reasons why I asked that question based on where that conversation y'all were having was going. But I just think it relates to all relationships because I can say that I'm in a healthy one now. But I did gain scars from previous ones and i brought those scars into my current relationship but we were able to communicate talk through them and set boundaries that works for the
Starting point is 02:21:52 two of us and i just thought that yeah go ahead sorry no no i'm agreeing just not not just one person y'all had to talk about uh what best suits both of you yeah or where your ideals lie and both of you like there are swingers here there are people in open relationships right here what's up no i think that um but that's true listen we joking but i can't call a woman insecure because she is not with me swinging right i have to find someone who is okay with that. It's all communication. I think it's all communication because what happens a lot of times
Starting point is 02:22:31 is there are assumptions made. Because we're in this relationship, you're supposed to do this, I'm supposed to do that. I might not want to do that. Based on how you were raised or what you believe. And there's also assumptions based on where the relationship is even at. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:22:47 You could still be intimate with someone, sleeping with someone, whatever, for a long period of time. And y'all don't necessarily agree that this is a relationship, let alone a monogamous one. True. And even there, because of the lack of communication, one person can think because we're intimate and doing x y and z we are in a relationship and we are in a monogamous relationship but i get you though like if you love if you're a girl and you love me then i love her then why wouldn't you want me to love her if you love me because that's the premise and i just i just also think it's really possible for a person to and i think you agreed with the sentiment joe of like there is a way people do have the ability to create new insecurities into another person
Starting point is 02:23:31 i'm not saying that that person may have not been insecure to start with i'm not saying that um because i think there's aspects of all of us that we have insecurity on it could be something as small as like you know i got big hands like anything that small that can be an insecurity can be exaggerated if a person is the move christian let me ask you let me ask you a question sure do you think you're attractive guy yeah if a million people told you you're unattractive you think you're gonna start to believe it yes really uh well so here's the thing did you really believe you were attractive to start with? Or are you saying that politically correct?
Starting point is 02:24:07 You can question your own thought, though. Yeah. My question was. And I think that comes from. So to kind of give more context to that. Right. I used to be like when I was in high school, I was a really, really heavy guy. And I got heavier my freshman year of college.
Starting point is 02:24:23 Gotcha. and I got heavier my freshman year of college. And so me, I didn't realize until towards the end of my freshman year of college that I was at a very unhealthy weight. And so I did everything that I could to get out of that, and I am in a much – I deem myself a much better-looking guy. I have – I've lost a lot of weight. I'm a much healthier person now. But I still at times see – and honestly, my partner will probably, my boyfriend will probably tell you, I see it more often than I think, is I still see the old me when I look in the
Starting point is 02:24:54 mirror sometimes. I have those days where I have my insecurities pop up. I have those days. So if somebody was to tell me, if a million people tell me that and i still have those small moments where i see my old self that million people that just told me that i'm ugly it's going to manifest itself into something bigger but they're confirming a self-doubt that you already possessed they're not implanting that there you just said that you already had that you already had a self-doubt so all they're doing is making that existing self-doubt grow i'm talking about giving you a brand new insecurity
Starting point is 02:25:29 on something that you didn't already possess but in your same example that could still be true what if i never had this thought and i only have it because a million people said it to me so now i'm pondering yeah but if i it doesn't have to be a million people it could just be the one person that you actually give a fuck about yeah yeah i just see that's what we know before you know so quite with regards to your uh your your question about monogamy where do you correlate the monogamy with the insecurity because we were kind of tripped up on it for a minute yeah i was equating it to when basically when Imani was saying that like when you all were just talking about the fact that none of my friends can talk to her. Right. Because we had we had a relationship in the past.
Starting point is 02:26:15 That was an insecurity. Of course. And to me, I'm looking at that like so you either this girl, either this woman created that insecurity within you that none of your boys can now touch her or a previous girlfriend from a past cheated on you or did something to you that caused this insecurity. So now moving forward in every relationship that you have, if that relationship ends, no other men can or or or you're insecure around your friends. You might be competing with your friends silently and you think these guys measure up better than you do and that's your own insecurity you might be having a silent competition which a lot of people do guys and girls will have silent competitions with their friend group and because of that i won't allow that insecurity to even get
Starting point is 02:27:02 to my girl i'm gonna have this talk yo this talk. Yo, don't talk to him. Don't talk to him. Don't fuck him. I agree. These are my friends. Leave them alone. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I get what you're saying.
Starting point is 02:27:10 And then so that leads to my question then. So if every relationship that I enter into going forward, I have this mindset right here where I'm already insecure around my boys. I'm already – so I kind of keep her close to the knee, close to the tuck. And I know that if she moves on, I'm still going to keep her close to the tuck. I'm not going to want anyone to touch her. You're automatically entering that relationship insecure
Starting point is 02:27:36 and you're not looking for ways to better it. And so you're forcing monogamy onto this girl because you're of your own personal insecurities so every relationship that you enter into after that then becomes I'm forcing you to be monogamous with me because of my insecurity not because I'm creating a boundary because a boundary requires communication and if you're going into the relationship with with that mindset already then that's an insecurity that's not a boundary to me the boundary does not require communication I can have a
Starting point is 02:28:04 boundary and not tell anybody that just means you don't know my boundary but the other person doesn't have to adhere to it if they don't know about it that don't mean it don't exist that's what i'm saying all right listen christian i think we have a better understanding hopefully we were able to help you in our understanding and we appreciate the call man thank you absolutely i appreciate y'all wonderful day i was actually in the middle of watching that surf episode y'all just uploaded. Hey. Don't worry. Don't worry.
Starting point is 02:28:29 Hey, Christian. Have a good weekend, bro. You too. Peace, man. Later. Bye. I get it. No, I understand.
Starting point is 02:28:39 I understand. I don't like when we blame some of our... Let's talk about Christianity, yo. Honest. Let's really unpack. Let's really unpack. Look, look, look. Don't get Corey started.
Starting point is 02:28:55 No, there's no... Let me shut up. Don't get Joe started. Let me shut up. It's a little nuts. It is? No, I think Nevermind Boy
Starting point is 02:29:07 Nah when they be having Relationship talks Like I just don't like How sometimes You heard what he said Like yo you could've got Hurt in the past Or somebody did something
Starting point is 02:29:15 To you in the past We always blame Another motherfucker for And sometimes it is Sometimes it is But yo A lot of times It's still
Starting point is 02:29:24 It's still internal And you've had Great relationships You've had yo you you've had a lot of times it's still it's still internal and you've had great relationships you've had bad relationships i've had great relationships that end up bad why the fuck in the bad part is what see look just that fast to that point that you making or sound like you're making we get back to what i was trying to say about liking and not liking songs just forget the songs part. I've had relationships that I liked. And from that, I pulled what I liked from that. So moving forward, I kind of knew what I liked
Starting point is 02:29:55 because what I went through. And the same with what I didn't like. So you're able to identify it moving forward. I think you have to be able to do that with everything that you like and don't like just so you know. You have to, I think you have to be able to do that with everything that you like and don't like just so you know. You can meet a girl and she can have attributes
Starting point is 02:30:09 of somebody that you despised. And immediately when you identify it in her, X stage left. I'm gone. Look, this is not going to work. I appreciate it. And it may be an unfair correlation.
Starting point is 02:30:21 I'm good. I don't want to read. See, I don't think it's unfair. I think that's not unfair. I think it's human nature. I think it's instinctual for humans to do that, right? I think it's smart.
Starting point is 02:30:31 If we walk on this block, hey, when we came on this block and Ish got arrested, the next 20 times we came on this block, that was a conversation. It was funny. It was a funny,
Starting point is 02:30:39 yo, yo, yo. So I think there might be a cop up the street. There might be, if somebody get in a car accident I used to be insensitive to this but now I totally get it
Starting point is 02:30:48 somebody get in like a life altering car accident now they scared to get in your car when you slam on the brakes they jump or now they being a passenger they jump
Starting point is 02:30:54 you watch somebody that's been in a like a certain type of accident like a T-bone intersection accident they drive through intersections a lot differently they do you watch the entire
Starting point is 02:31:02 the way they drive their car I see this shit all the time y'all know I'm always on the road you I can tell just I don't even flip out on phone number you know but no you stop watching
Starting point is 02:31:13 you could sit there and look and be like I could tell this person got something from a car coming around them this way or something like I'm in Newark on them number blocks I hit the four-way intersection different.
Starting point is 02:31:26 Yeah. Because I've seen the stolen cars hit them shits and go nuts. So I be stopped. It ain't even no stop sign there. I proceed with caution. I've told y'all, I've heard stories from women
Starting point is 02:31:35 that sleep with the lights on. And you're like, well, why do you do that? And then? And then a gruesome story comes. And it's like, oh. Oh. Sorry. Well, I can't tell you to never sleep with the lights on. And it's like, oh. Sorry.
Starting point is 02:31:45 Well, I can't tell you to never sleep with the lights out. Because I get that. I think it's instinctual. Yeah, it is. When some people don't want strangers around their kids. Like, some people don't play that. Some people don't play. You're not spending the night at anybody's house.
Starting point is 02:32:01 You're not staying over at anybody's house. It's a lot of people that don't play that shit. That comes from somewhere. Sure does. You're not staying over anybody's house. It's a lot of people that don't play that shit. That comes from somewhere. Sure does. You follow me? Like, that comes from something that they've experienced or somebody close to them
Starting point is 02:32:10 has experienced. What do you just see? Like, with a situation like that, you see this shit every five minutes. Nah, there's some other shit going on now. You right.
Starting point is 02:32:18 I'm just saying, you see, like, nah, I can't. I don't want, I would, wouldn't want to put my child in that situation. We kind of made a comeback to what the the shit that joe got in hot water over yo why don't we do this because we tend to as human
Starting point is 02:32:33 beings we focus on the negative so if you had a bad breakup with somebody in the past right they did some fuck shit to you but they also did some good shit to you or you wouldn't have been in a relationship with them but you but every single time somebody surfaces you gotta focus on the negative shit you gotta so don't say yo that nigga took my credit from a 480 to a 780 and now i own six businesses because of that nigga you don't say that you'll be like yo that nigga cheated on me with my sister right you get i'm saying like even though the sister shit is a little rough and traumatic but i exaggerate sister is the person that forced me into opening these nine businesses. But you get what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:33:07 Like, yo, the same thing that we just tend to focus on the negative shit. And Christian is like, yo, well, maybe you got hurt in the past. Or maybe you got this in the past. But maybe you had a great experience in the past. And you're going to say, yo, I'm going to go into this optimistically that it's not going to end up like that. Right. Like, we pick and choose where we want our brains to go oftentimes.
Starting point is 02:33:28 For sure. So that's, I don't know. Your sleeper time. Get some R&B dope shit off my segue, yo. Is it sleeper time? I just want, Elon Musk wants to put cocaine back in Coca-Cola. Round of applause.
Starting point is 02:33:42 He's just having fun with this shit, man. He said he was buying Facebook to delete it it's a joke or is it I don't know it should be a joke he said he wanted to go to Mars
Starting point is 02:33:55 people mask he's building spaceships man I don't know what to tell you we might be getting high next week off the soda
Starting point is 02:34:02 people mask the truth in jokes so I don't think he really wants to put cocaine back in Coca-Cola but I also We might be getting high next week off the soda. People mask the truth in jokes. So, I don't think he really wants to put cocaine back in Coca-Cola, but I also don't think that his Twitter purchase is just about free speech. I don't either. I think that's a cloud of shit.
Starting point is 02:34:18 I wish I were wealthy enough to really understand what's happening. I don't know what's happening. Or smart enough. I don't think it's a dig that, dude. I think it's a political play. I told y'all what I thought like this is world altering shit right here bro
Starting point is 02:34:27 I am now this makes me one of the powerful people most powerful people in the world us ground level people don't even know what the political play is being
Starting point is 02:34:34 that's my thing we know it's a political play but to what degree that we don't know you're right it might be an egotistical thing
Starting point is 02:34:43 like Zuckerberg and them get more oomph kinda than him that we don't know you're right it might be an egotistical thing like Zuckerberg and them get more oomph kinda than him because they control information he don't control information now he does
Starting point is 02:34:55 I'm pretty sure that Tesla's is kicking back some data it's not about the money I know it's not about the money no no I'm just saying we just saw them
Starting point is 02:35:02 come out allegations I don't know if it's true or not but about Facebook fucking swaying elections you get what I'm just saying we just saw them come out allegations I don't know what's true or not but about Facebook fucking swaying elections you know what I'm saying so now if I can buy me
Starting point is 02:35:10 that's what company yeah that's what I'm saying that's the play my man and I me and you can have a conversation I don't know if you want to jump into it
Starting point is 02:35:17 my man calls me this morning and he's talking about it y'all warm up in the third hour go ahead and he says yo I think it's a bad thing because if
Starting point is 02:35:25 you take the trump election and all of the information that people can now put up there with no censorship um it becomes a slippery slope and i said you're right because a lot of misinformation could come up there but this is also potentially giving a voice to the voiceless and a lot of times the people that don't have resources are voiceless so let's just say hypothetically the powers that be did some fuck shit they can censor you we've seen it since we've been around like if a big company did some bullshit to somebody's family members they can silence that person right if he opens up a platform without censorship and now potentially gives a voice to the voiceless.
Starting point is 02:36:05 Potentially, but do you trust that he... I don't know him. See, and that's... I don't know him. What if he just starts censoring all the shit they say about him? I don't know him. Free speech becomes his definition. I now control free speech.
Starting point is 02:36:16 I don't know him. That makes me more powerful than the rest. I don't care what country you talk... I'm more powerful than that country. I control free speech. It's mine. He don't, because he's only one platform. I'm just saying, what if?
Starting point is 02:36:27 It's all hypothetical because we don't know. But he's one person who owns it. He doesn't have to answer to a board. He doesn't have to answer to shareholders. I could wake up tomorrow and say, Tesla, get that shit off. Yeah, you don't have to. Anything.
Starting point is 02:36:39 Yeah, whatever. Whatever the fuck I want to. But if you don't like the way he's running this platform, you don't have to fuck with it. It's easy to say when, look at the platform platform You don't have to fuck with it It's easy to say when Look at the platform You don't have to fuck with it You do not have to fuck
Starting point is 02:36:50 With a Twitter There was something After Twitter Before Twitter Twitter literally Changed the world In the terms of Information
Starting point is 02:36:59 Being delivered It literally turned Every I agree User into it's own News network I agree It's a lot of shit All these police shootings And all that If it wasn't for Twitter Being delivered, it literally turned every user into its own news network. I agree. It's a lot of shit.
Starting point is 02:37:07 All these police shootings and all that. If it wasn't for Twitter, they ain't just start. True. People recording and putting that information out. And that is the voiceless having a voice. Look at what Sean King has been able to do from social media. Sean King has lended a hand to people that could have potentially never got their story out and got justice from him pushing the narrative on his platform because his platform reached so
Starting point is 02:37:33 many people some of those people would have never gotten justice had it not been for that see i say you take it even a step further you know we got that crisis going over in Ukraine. We don't know what's happening. We do not. We've heard one side. We've heard one side. That's where this, to me, that's the powerful part. That's powerful. I didn't want to bring that up, but that's where it comes.
Starting point is 02:37:56 Now, yeah, you get the people over there that's tweeting what's really happening on the ground. You can see that now. It might not be what we were told not i'm not saying it is or isn't i'm just giving an example that you don't know what's going on but now when you i open this up i'm a little bit more powerful because that is true this country might have suppressed certain shit might not let only get our side out like we've heard stories of cnn reporting one way but people over there saying, dog, it ain't like that. Nah, when you call people and you got friends that live in France or you got friends that live in England or you got friends that live in Portugal and Spain, and they are telling you what they are seeing on their news outlets.
Starting point is 02:38:34 It is totally different than what we are seeing on our news outlets. Totally different story sometimes. This changed the propaganda game. Because now you got one person that's ahead of that. Yeah. Now I control the propaganda game. Not even. Or I just give a even voice to both parties if you if you want to truly if you truly want to possibly one thing he said he said um this purchase of twitter he said be clear this is going
Starting point is 02:38:58 to upset the right just as much as it's going to upset the left i'm not playing either side he said i'm actually looking for that 80 in the middle that's not true that's going to upset the left. I'm not playing either side. He said, I'm actually looking for that 80% in the middle. That's not true. That's his definition of the middle, though. Yeah. I know. I know. His definition of right and left.
Starting point is 02:39:11 I know. I know. If Facebook and Twitter and a few other places implemented their hate speech protocol for the right wing people, protocol for the right wing people and then you come out and say alright this is a private thing and free speech is important for everybody so the left people
Starting point is 02:39:31 the right people everybody can do what they want but it's only one side that's hateful then why wouldn't that piss off the left because the left may not be as and this I'm just answering you I'm not in disagreement with you. It's like saying, these people are violent. Right?
Starting point is 02:39:49 And they're saying hateful shit. We don't necessarily go down that road. But we can spit out other information that may be as damaging, just not in the same way. Or we can put out information that can sway audiences, just not in the same way. You know what I'm saying? We can fight differently. We don't have, just not in the same way. You know what I'm saying? Like, we could fight differently. We don't have to necessarily fight in the same manner as them, but we could fight effectively nonetheless. One is just harsher.
Starting point is 02:40:16 You got it. You get what I'm saying? I understand what you're saying. I might not have worded it. No, I understand what you're saying. Yeah, like, so, if I'm given equal opportunity, or, fuck that, Some jokers on the left might want to Start throwing mud too Some of the motherfuckers need to get a little tougher
Starting point is 02:40:32 Punk asses I'm just saying It's just equal opportunity As long as he's Truly legitimate I think that's utopistic. Utopistic. Like, oh, this guy will make it completely fair and normal.
Starting point is 02:40:51 It's just a person. You know what I'm saying? It's no different than the person. It comes in the funding, though. See, I think it comes in the funding with everything else. With all the news media outlets, even probably here. Right? Money is behind most shit.
Starting point is 02:41:06 So the advertisers and whomever funding the shit because he bought it but he has to still get his money back some way, some shape, some form. That talks. Whoever's giving you money now has a stake
Starting point is 02:41:19 in how the news is conveyed. So I don't think there would be a bunch of 80 percenters. Bingo. I don't think there would be a bunch of 80 percenters trying to give you $100 million or $50 million as an investment. Welcome to American democracy. You've got to have an agenda most of the time. The reason why you can't go to the doctor.
Starting point is 02:41:39 Medicine costs a bazillion dollars. Yeah. But I digress. Well, we'll see. I'm going to watch it. I'm going to keep my eyes know. I digress. Well, we'll see. I'm watching. I'm gonna keep my eyes open. I have a good, I have a strong feeling
Starting point is 02:41:47 that not much will change. All right, I'm getting into What She Wants. Azeon featuring LA. This is from the Femit Forward Project. It definitely starts

Starting point is 02:45:42 yeah me too I think this might be the one for the books. We do for a great summer, though. Facts. We do. We are. Look at our arrogance.
Starting point is 02:45:50 Do. Why? Why are we do? Because we had some trash-ass summers. Summer can just be trash for the rest of our lives now. Or we can have
Starting point is 02:45:57 some lit summers. Nah. I won't say we was all lit. I'm not going to lie. Even during the pandemic, my summer was kind of lit. We was doing the cookouts
Starting point is 02:46:03 and all that shit. Right. I was doing the secret strip clubs, and they were more lit than the regular strip clubs. They were. A lot more expensive, but. You just had to work harder. Work harder. All right, I'm going to that Pooh Shiesty project.
Starting point is 02:46:17 Thought you would. Of course. Of course. This is 762GuyReloaded. It's Pooh Shiesty I see big 30 ESTG Askin' gangsta, I ain't buyin' it He tried to run off, I dumped it, Draco, where his spine at? 76 to God, I got that night because I'm fine at Rip, we lit for like post on the block, this where I'm dyin' at If I shoot my gun, 300 shots gon' come behind it
