This goes back to the old, what came first, the chicken or the egg? This is what y'all are talking about. Are you using the phone or is the phone using you? That is what this comes down to for me. Is it art? It's art. This is art. It's still art.

I just need that to be explained to me some more. If art is often reflecting the times, we can agree with that, right? to the artists i'm not saying that those things are not true to beyonce but this song did not tell us anything new about the time or the artist to that you say i don't think that all music particularly dance music is necessarily necessarily a social commentary.
