Starting point is 00:00:00 The thoughts, views, and opinions expressed by the hosts of this podcast are for entertainment purposes only. I repeat, it is not serious. It is not real. None of it. No one is exposing, revealing, indicting, or telling you anything about themselves. Also, we do not encourage you to try this at home. We are trained professionals who do not have your best interests at heart or our own. Now, enjoy the show. All right. Let's start with an argument.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Ish, tell them what we're about to argue about. You just gave Corey a recap. Come on, let me walk the dog for you. We're outside. So we are, as a team, we're trying to make a conscious effort to curse less. Say the B word less, the N word less, as a collective. All cursing, yep. Right?
Starting point is 00:00:50 So Joe talks about how his cousin is riding with his wife and his mom, and we just throwing F-bombs. We just letting it go. And it's embarrassing, right? So he says, what? Yeah, I'd be embarrassed. No, it is. I'd be embarrassed no it is i'd be embarrassed i know we have an older demo we do and it don't really hit you to you be in the street
Starting point is 00:01:11 is what i was explaining to these brothers like you be outside and somebody's aunt great great aunt yeah like somebody older come like yo my daughter put me on here about to be playing it from the room i'd be like oh word oh, word. Yikes. Or Thanksgiving. I got my aunt, 94. So she's sitting at the table. Yo, where can I listen to your show? Nah, chill, auntie. Don't even worry about it.
Starting point is 00:01:31 You good. Don't worry about that. 94? Y'all fucking Jamaicans live. She's not Jamaican. That's the black side. That's the chitlins. Chitlins extend your joint, yo.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Anyway. No, so I'm like, oh, but they old anyway. And they like y'all gray hairs. I said, so I said, Joe, you know you got gray hair too, right? No, I wasn't saying they old and they like y'all gray hairs. I was saying. We're relatable. Yeah, I want to be mindful of this now.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Because our part is we attract that. I said, you dudes is all gray haired in the face looking old and stupid in the face. You dudes. Excluding him. Just us dudes. That's y'all.
Starting point is 00:02:16 But I'm talking to y'all. He's got white privilege. There's a time where everybody's privilege has to pop out. I got some privilege. So you were saying. I said Joe Pham. You know you got gray hairs too right i'm gonna speed it up this fool says yeah but mine don't count i'm a rapper no i used to rap i get a pass what that's rapper privilege facts i would like to hear the uh i really want to hear this yo dog stop you gotta get your kard Shapiro, Johnny. What?
Starting point is 00:02:46 You woke him up. I want to hear you defend this. I don't. I need y'all to explain why I'm wrong. Maybe teach me. What do you mean defend this? So if he's a teacher, he's an engineer, but you're a rapper. Let me ask you this.
Starting point is 00:03:00 You could be great. Let me ask you this. And this is what? Yes. What are y'all missing? What are y'all missing? What are y'all missing about there are certain exceptions that are made for people that have been famous or have notoriety for X amount of years. Ish comes in here every other pod and says, yo, he highlights when those perks jump out
Starting point is 00:03:24 for me versus him because I'm famous. That's true. So my thing is, why do he think that that is not widespread or don't apply to great hearers? A lot of people have this, you know how certain songs give you a photographic memory of where you were when you heard it? Yes, yes. That same thing applies somewhat for celebrityism i agree like emmanuel lewis is
Starting point is 00:03:48 still emmanuel lewis in my head 30 years i don't know how old he is i don't know what he looked like today because it's just embedded in my head so that's what i mean when i say my grades hit different because i rapped because they caught me at every phase. They caught me when I shaved all this shit off. They caught me when I looked 19. I probably never looked 19. But they just, I don't think their image that's cemented in their head of me is gray hair Joe. Now for you gentlemen, y'all have just been discovered by mass, by the masses.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Their introduction to you is older, mature, wiser ish with great. They don't know you. Not many people have seen us arguing about rent in New York in 2008 on YouTube
Starting point is 00:04:39 where your eyes was popping a little more out your face. Skin was looking a little more young, vibrant, so fresh and so clean. Ice was always just a Twitter handle. He never really put his face up there. So this is people's introduction. Oh, stop it, Ice. This is people's introduction.
Starting point is 00:04:57 So that's my only difference. With that, I close my argument. You think people still picture you with a chin strap? For the most part. Okay? For the most part. Okay. For the most part. That's what you think? For the most part.
Starting point is 00:05:10 So let me ask you this. Do you think your rap career is what you're known more for by the masses than the pod? I think they still call him a rapper. They do. No, no, no. In a write-up or something like that. The notoriety, the worldwide notoriety. Much more from the pod.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Exactly. Which is, ta-da. You know. Nigga, gray is gray. Yeah, that's it. I heard all of that. I don't want to hear none of that. We all growing older, nigga.
Starting point is 00:05:39 The gray is here. I don't really see it. I know. That's it. That's cool. I just don't see it. Yo, the fancy hats don't hide the grays, bro. They don't know you, but they knew them from the fancy clothes and shit now, though, right?
Starting point is 00:05:51 That you wasn't wearing before. Yeah. Not many. See, but even in that, most people don't know how podcasters make money. So when girls used to, let me say used to. Or when girls see me, f*** that. I can talk and blur that. when girls used to let me say used to or when girls see me that i can talk and blur that uh when girls see me today and come around maybe because i'm cute or funny i can spot the shock
Starting point is 00:06:13 in them from me having like this type of stuff the car and just all that i see the shock what i would agree with that come on to that level no no no because come on i know you hate to be on my side with something but i'm trying to work no the level of the i think they think that you're getting money but they don't think you're getting made back money they don't think you're getting two and three thousand dollars shirt money. They only reserve that for the athletes. Even most rappers don't. I mean, we know,
Starting point is 00:06:49 but most rappers don't have money like that. You get what I'm saying? So you got on a three thousand dollar shirt. They like, oh, damn, with a bag. Oh, he doing it like that.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Oh, I know it was that. You get what I'm saying? So I agree with him. Like I could see a BMW or Ben's money. I don't know about made back money. You get what I'm saying? It's just him like I could see a BMW or Benz money I don't know about Maybach money you get what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:07:07 it's just a difference so I would agree with you $3,000 glasses shit like that they like oh that's a different type of bread so I would agree with that there
Starting point is 00:07:16 alright alright you successfully backed him up off you Joe you was in the corner they had you. They had weapons. They had sharp knives, guns.
Starting point is 00:07:28 This is like we was back in Fox's again. Niggas trying to kill me in Fox's. All right. How am I feeling? How am I feeling? How am I feeling? feeling. Mic check, mic check, mic check, mic check. I'm doing it for the breakups today.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Doing it for the breakups today. Holiday season gets tough, I'm way too wavy, let you play me like it's too fun Malice in my palace, you the silence in my crouton Keep your genie, G, and give a fuck about what they say Talking like Madea with that mama, and you can say Me on some smoking, all the B, got that A grade On a block, I'm spinning on that bitch just like a Beyblade Lines around the corner, lines around the corner Shout to the woman that you can trust with the arcs There's not many of you, but some of you exist
Starting point is 00:08:35 Shout out to family and friends of the show. First and last time listeners. Shout out to wherever you might be listening from. YouTube, Patreon, Patronix. SoundCloud, Spotify, Google. Hey.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Shout out to everybody listening from the But Benjamin's important to me But it ain't nothing important to her Ain't nothing important to her Shout out to everybody listening from the ride in they car If you live in Houston, tuck that road race Don't honk the horn, niggas will kill you And it goes Watch for me when I found another nigga, bitch It's you, dumb Uh-oh
Starting point is 00:09:21 Now I gotta tell you about yourself Gotta tell you about yourself now Got to tell you about yourself now. I'm sorry, Stank. Get to that point in the argument where you got to tell your girl some hard truths. Oh, man. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. I couldn't figure. Heard this nigga get more paper than me. I can't even flex and say I'm richer. Yes, I'm just a rolly heater richer. That's a lot of hate. Yeah, it is. That's a lot of hate. Boy, that's hate. Definitely.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Sometimes you hate. You've hated like that before. Come on. Own your hates. Own your hates. I don't got to do that. You've never, never? I hate when you do that. Never hate.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Yeah, I'm done with you today. I'm done with you today i'm done with you today buddy no we're laughing at it yeah you know it's just never done very normal man thing joe i was raised by different types of niggas honestly you was raised by different types of niggas so it shocks me that you resort to some of these things but what i'm saying don't really have a whole lot to do with upbringing, I guess, because we come from some of the same places. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:50 But when you intro women into the equation. And emotions. As a man, you learn some things about yourself. That's what I'm talking about. So, yes.
Starting point is 00:11:01 I had an image of how I would act when my partner left with the guy with more money. How that happened, how it played out, I mean, it didn't match the image that I had of myself. That's all I'm saying. It never happened. And in hindsight, I was hating.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Yes. I believe you. I was hating. I called you about it, nigga. No, you called him too. Oh, yeah. I was hating. I called you about it, nigga. No, you called him too. Oh, yeah. It's cool, bro. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:11:33 That's a different kind of hate right there. Yeah, but that's why I don't like doing pods with people that know me like that. Because some things shouldn't make it to a pod. I'm ashamed of that. You should be. I'm ashamed of that. But I think that you need that. Nah, you get a pass though. I think that you need that though.
Starting point is 00:11:48 No, you get a pass because... I'll fight you today. Today I'll fight one of y'all. This is my opinion. When you in love, the rules don't apply. That's when you get your head off. I never just... I've been heartbroken, but I never lost my girl to the nigga that had more
Starting point is 00:12:03 bread. Whatever you lost her to... I just lost my girl because I was doing dumb shit. Yo, you never know, but I never lost my girl to the nigga that had more bread. Whatever you lost her to... I just lost my girl because I was doing dumb shit. You never know, and I'm going to trigger some people out there, you never know how big of a goof your girl is until y'all break up for a couple weeks. That is true. Y'all don't even know how to do it.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Y'all know how to do it right. Y'all get goofy off the rip. Or how goofy you'll be until you be heartbroken. So now it look like I'm hating, but I really love your goofy ass trying to protect you from that bull. Man, that's hate. Trying to protect her is hate. That's what you're doing. You got to let her do it.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Yeah, because they be lying. They be lying to us. They be lying to themselves. Why was I calling that man? He picked up and spoke to me too we used to kick it a little bit we used to kick it a little bit yo i can see how you got hurt the guy the guy's intelligent yo smart guy sounds like i'm talking to you he's a smart guy he's a smart guy we broke down with it we broke it down we unpacked that thing. He was a rat, though.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Damn. He was. He was a rat. That's how he bagged it, like on some snitchy shit. See, I don't respect that. Yeah, that's corny. That's corny. That's hate.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Dirty Mac? I was going to say that. Yeah, Dirty Mac, though. Is it okay to, is there like a reverse hate? Like a reverse and uno? You think that? Yeah. Am I hating if you started we started with the hill hate enough
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah, yeah, you still might snitch because it was got snitch back right? Yo my whole career niggas was snitching men The niggas was hating. Yeah, that's because it was like I got more this than him. I got more that That's how you get it. That's your man. You hang around some rats man, you hang around some raps. Damn. I hang around him? That's why I had to distance myself from you for a little bit. I hang around him?
Starting point is 00:13:46 That's why I had to distance myself from you for a little bit. Now, you got to hang in with us. It was a wild crowd for a couple years. Listen, Feb, you, you, I don't do that. Listen, we got bigger fish to fry. We do. Oh, let me hit drops. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I didn't intro this thing. I didn't do anything. Because I love you guys, man. How does this shit start? I'm in a good mood. I do it because I love you guys All right, 482 582 5 yes 482? 582. Five, yes. 482, so it's dark. Oh, shit. That's where these grades came from. 482. The 400s.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Oh, my God. I'm later fours. I'll be laughing at y'all. Welcome to episode 99. Yeah, you just wait. You just keep it up. Keep at it. Got a little speed bump coming?
Starting point is 00:14:41 Yeah. Welcome to episode 582. 582, the Joe Budden Podcast. I'm your host, Joe Budden. And niggas is here. Ish is here. Ice is here. Corey's here.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Parks is here. Erickson is here. Our remote people are here. Niggas is here. Shout out to gang. Gang gang. Oh, man. And everyone here is important.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Trust me, I know that around text time. Tell me why. Or not. Everyone here is needed and important to the functioning of this operation. God. Jesus. Come on, what you going through? Talk to me.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Nothing. Parks, come on, tell us. For those that don't know, Parks went to his wife's high school reunion. That's right. He was hurt plus one. I was. We unpacked that on a later Patreon episode. We did.
Starting point is 00:15:37 That's why I was dressed up last week. Yeah, that's why Parks was dressed up. Round of applause. Someone said I was my evil twin. Nah, they was on you, fam. You should have came in there. You might have to do that a little more often. Some of the Patronis tried to hate.
Starting point is 00:15:48 And they said that we was hating and we not really friends because he ain't look right in the boots and the tux. Y'all niggas just don't have sauce. We actually liked it. Yeah. I like things with character. Yeah. Yeah. That looked like him.
Starting point is 00:16:01 It did. Yeah. But now we need deets. Okay. Oh, yeah. We got to hear this. It was. Yeah, but now we need deets. Okay. Oh, yeah, we got to hear this. It was exactly as I thought it would be. I was awkwardly sitting in the corner most of the time.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I was surprised by the demographics. Why? She went to a Christian school. I didn't really factor that in, but there was a lot of different groups of people there, which led to a fairly segregated party for the most part until everyone got drunk and then it turned the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:16:27 But it was pretty fun, man. I mean, the DJ was a little blend happy. That can throw off my vibe a little bit. Listen to this guy. No, no, I'm all... I had a bad experience this week, too. I had a bad experience, too, but get your shit off.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Nah, the blend, like, he put, like, in the club over candy shop. Bro, you're doing too much. You're doing too much. Like, those are damn near, he put, like, in the club over candy shop. Bro, you're doing too much. Mm-hmm. You're doing too much. Like, those are damn near the same song, like, emotionally in a club vibe.
Starting point is 00:16:50 You don't have to blend them. It's cool, yeah. But it was Jersey shit. I know that that's y'all shit over here. Like, everything went into the Jersey house beat at some point. You know what I'm saying? First of all, watch your mouth. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Don't say it like that. Know the fucked up blend, but you know it's Jersey shit. Don't say it like that. Well, when I up blend, but you know it's Jersey shit. Don't say it like that. Well, when I'm in Jersey, I expect that shit to a degree. Well, why got to be that shit, though? Yeah, I don't like it. Because that's that shit, though. Boy.
Starting point is 00:17:14 You know what I mean? You're good. You're good. So on a scale of 1 to 10, if you had to rate your wife's job of ingratiating you to the scene. Oh, she did great. She was mad at me, though, because I didn't want to be ingratiating you to the scene. Oh, she did great. She was mad at me, though, because I didn't want to be ingratiated that much.
Starting point is 00:17:28 I was perfectly fine sitting in the corner texting my dad. I know, I know. She brought you there to stunt, my nigga. I know, but I was tired. He's over there.
Starting point is 00:17:37 We worked all day. That's how you want your husband to look. You don't want him all up in your face. My husband over there chilling. Nah.
Starting point is 00:17:42 In case one of y'all act up in here. Nah, it depends on what she wants. Yeah. You know what i'm saying like if she wants you to be chilled and you be chill she wants you to be you gotta kind of do that but then the party went on there was an after party thing and i turned up a little bit more had a little more fun so well no the music i really like people neglect how much the music can impact your time absolutely if you are not feeling the vibe, it subconsciously will have you sitting in a corner
Starting point is 00:18:07 texting on your phone. It'll throw everything off. Yeah. The DJ downstairs was turning up. He was playing that shit. So down there, I was having a little more fun. I'm running around, talking to everybody a little more. That's why I can't do the white strip clothes.
Starting point is 00:18:19 It'd be the music. Oh, is that why? Yeah. Come on, buddy. It was right there, yo. It'd be a glass door. Sometimes you just don't realize it's a door. We get it.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Yeah, it's stupid. I go in the strip club Friday night. Friday night is Friday night because Saturday, they might play some fucking Nelly Furtado or some Spanish shit. They might get more Spanish music on Saturday night. So you go on Friday night.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Friday night, walk in, and they playing songs that they've never played before on a Friday night. It's early midnight. Can't get out of my life. It's early midnight.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Just is not the scene for whatever they're doing. I think there was a whole. This is a strip club? Yes. One that I frequent with the gangsters and the gang members. Yo, was it the normal DJ? Or was it somebody else? Because that matters.
Starting point is 00:19:24 It's the holidays, so it could have been. 35 minutes into my night as I'm questioning the DJ and the hype man. Now there's someone on the mic that's trying to hype these bad song selections. The bartender pulls me close and says, can you believe the DJ? I said, what do you mean? That's not our regular DJ. I said, what do you mean? That's not our regular DJ. I said, tell me more.
Starting point is 00:19:49 He said, yeah, there's been an issue with the regular DJs, so at the last minute, they had to bring in a guy from Connecticut. I said, ha, ha. There you go. Wait, the guy from Connecticut. So him and the hype man are from Connecticut on a Friday night in the Bronx where the gangsters and the gang members are. And 10 minutes after me and her had that conversation,
Starting point is 00:20:10 guess what came on? You guessed it. Tekashi. Oh. And that was my first time seeing that come on in a place where some people will object to this and i was one of them but there were a couple of a mob of people rushed the dj booth it almost got bad is what i'm saying to you i was i was amazed at how everybody acted just in unison when this record came on he's gonna play that
Starting point is 00:20:44 there important to know your surroundings when you're running around playing these records. That's true. Many a DJ have gotten beaten up for playing the wrong record at the wrong spot. Yes. Very vital information for you guys out there, and we don't condone that.
Starting point is 00:20:57 We don't condone that. But it can happen. I'm about safety and peace like NBA Youngboy is. I like that. I like all that safety and peace shit from people that are. Yeah. Yeah. I like that.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Well, kudos to Parks. Yeah, it was fun. Kudos to Parks for his. Made the most of it. All right. You went to school in Patterson, right? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:19 I'm definitely not going to my Christian high school reunion. He left that part out before. I don't know, man. I don't know, man. I don't know if the biddies is going to be over here. No, they won't. You don't know. That's why you just don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Benedictine Academy. Boys in Hood. Yes. The Catholic school girls is the biggest hoochies. You don't remember that? New Jersey Catholic schools, it was up. It was up, up. Up, way up.
Starting point is 00:21:52 It was up. I don't know what you're talking about. That's what you wanted. Whoa, that was a little bus stop. They had the skirt rolled up all the way. Any girl that ever went to St. Mary's is, yeah, you wanted them. Mm-hmm. That was the one in Jersey City, St. Mary's.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Mother Seaton, Benedictine. But we just looked at them. We just called them the schools with the uniforms. I know. They was uniformed. Maris ain't one of them, right? Uh-uh. They just made you wear a uniform.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Maris wasn't. Maris makes you wear a uniform? My cousin used to go to, I don't know. Oh, man. Maris in the Maris used to go to I don't know oh man Maris in the Hall of Fame buddy Maris is in the Hall of Fame especially if you who because they had the skirts that we better say
Starting point is 00:22:33 they had they had uniforms and colors that was a representative of the year you weren't so you could spot who the freshman freshman y'all couldn't wear the blue joints. That was nice. So you knew who to avoid.
Starting point is 00:22:51 You knew where to shoot. This was many years ago. I can't do math but a long time ago. You knew where to shoot. Marist? Ask about me in Marist man. I'm going to ask too. Ask. Is Jersey up there? I'm going to ask too. Ask. Is your jersey up there? I was going to save it
Starting point is 00:23:09 and rest in peace to my marriage guy Keith McMurray. He died in our childhood. That's my man. I was going to save this for later but since you're walking me
Starting point is 00:23:17 right into it with my marriage jersey being in the Hall of Fame thing. So this is the bad part about doing so many drugs and pills throughout life. Your memory can get a little foggy. So there are bits and pieces of life that I remember and I don't remember. But I bumped into a I bumped into an interview from a gentleman named Kurt Smalls.
Starting point is 00:23:43 I know you all don't know who that is, but I went to high school with Kurt Smalls. Kurt Smalls was the star basketball player. That nigga was nice. He was a different type of nice. You couldn't tell me he wasn't. And rest in peace, Coach Gil Reynolds. Rest in peace, Coach Gil. Not too much on Gil.
Starting point is 00:24:02 But anyway, so I bump into his interview. And he starts talking about me that guy could set a pick yo is that the dude that was in your class that sat a couple seats or something no this is in high school oh it's a different dude
Starting point is 00:24:18 oh okay see now Parks Parks made me mad I played basketball with you you set a good pick can I play it for you? Let's hear it. Pure hustle.
Starting point is 00:24:29 But you had Lauren Bird with one of hip hop's most recognizable personalities in Joe Button, right? Kurt was ranked like top 50 in the country. You sent me that interview, and I'm reading it. 50 in the country. You sent me that interview, and I'm reading it. I had to click back twice, and I'm like, Joe Button played for Lauren Burke? First of all, I didn't even know Joe Button played ball. Yeah, Joey, man, that was my guy.
Starting point is 00:25:02 He didn't play that much, but he was very athletic. I think he was at the school for disciplinary reasons. Because, you know, Larenberg was a place that if you did some things, like the judge would order you to, you know, go there and finish. So Joe was there with us. Clink, like we clicked up right away. You know, he's from Jersey. So the New York guys, we stuck so um Look at show really athletic like um
Starting point is 00:25:27 Like oh the skill level wasn't on where we was at But he was good enough to make the 10th or 11th spot and um Yeah, one of the best games of his life against Oak Hill Academy a triple-double In that game, I had 50. Yo, I'm going to tell about, tell about, tell about. Fucked around and got a triple-double. Yo, what Oak Hill? What Oak Hill? And that's... See? See?
Starting point is 00:25:52 Which one? Wow. What Oak Hill? Wow. Oh, man. Hold on. I got you, buddy. I got you.
Starting point is 00:26:00 Yo, this guy is crazy. I got you, buddy. I kind of expected that reaction from you. Oh, man. Mic check, one, two, one, two, and it goes. Oh, man. This guy. Yo, uh, man.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Ish. Let's not play any games here. I'm asking you, what Oak Hill? Oak Hill. You know Oak Hill. I do. If anybody here knows Oak Hill, you know Oak Hill. I don't know anything about him.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I know he might not know. It's a basketball factor. Corey should know. It's a basketball factor. You know Oak Hill, too? That mellow. Yeah. Who's who?
Starting point is 00:26:38 Everybody went to Oak Hill. And Joe fucked around and caught a triple-double. I just want to know, was one of them fouls? Yo, do I have anybody who will support me with something good? They let me get 10 fouls? I'm going to leave them in the game, man. Let them get 10 fouls, man. Damn, you about Mello's age, too.
Starting point is 00:26:55 That might have been against Mello. Yo, dawg. This is what y'all say. When I tell y'all I got a triple-double against Warhol Kill. Yeah. Joe, you are 5'9". I'm not 5'9". I think I'm going to stop bringing good news to y'all.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I think that's what I'm going to do. Yeah. We ain't going to find the box score. We don't want to see the box score. Yeah, I need to see that. What year was that? I'm going to find it. I can't.
Starting point is 00:27:25 It's like Wilt Game, right? And my man said he had 50. My man said he had 50. No, that's why I had the triple-double. Oh, it's this. If we're being honest. Yeah, he's feeding him. Pause.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Because I'm going to always get rebounds, and I'm going to score a couple of layups. But when I tell you that this man killed Oak Hill, I'm talking about from anywhere. This is before we saw Steph Curry, so this was unbelievable to see he didn't play I used to just try to play him one on one in the gym
Starting point is 00:27:49 11-1 12-1 get off me Joe he was he was NBA college he was college ready what's his name Kurt Smalls no he's he was he was him alright but that's the I would never get a triple double ifouble if somebody was not scoring like that.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Anybody you've asked it to. But listen, Parks and Ice probably can't get a day and make their high school basketball team. You know what I mean? I skipped them trials. I went for one day. I made the team when the athletes was there. I wasn't even here for that. I went to one trial.
Starting point is 00:28:20 I wasn't even here for that. I'm here for duffing niggas out with some shit. I'm not. I wasn't here for that. I'm here because I was a niggas out with some shit. I wasn't here for that. I'm here because I was a menace. You were the enforcer? No. No, not at all.
Starting point is 00:28:30 These was people that- That school was- Prep schools be nice. They be nice, nice. Gil Reynolds, Bernard King went there. They sending people to- It's scholarship time. These people take this for real.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I ain't got time for my little bullshit. I tried to foul a couple of them big 6'11", niggas. Then I had beef with one of them. He was like, oh my God, why am I on this team? You was a 5'9", Oakley, yo.
Starting point is 00:28:52 I'm not 5'9", and me and you can fight. I know, you keep calling me 5'9". You good? You all right? I'm good, fam. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:29:04 now we're moving on So that's all y'all have to say About my triple double On Oak Hill Holy shit I just wanna see the What do I have to Yo what do I have to do?
Starting point is 00:29:15 This could be like the Wilt game What do I have to bring Bring to the table? I mean we heard it happen A box score Did it really happen? A box score Oh man
Starting point is 00:29:23 That's hilarious Alright My last question for y'all. Is that hate? Yeah. No. Yeah. That's hate.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Ish, I mean, Ice, is this hate from Ish Tucker? It's curiosity. It's hate from me, for sure. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:38 I'm hate. Is this hate? That's hate. Okay. That's it. All right, bro. He had a basketball legend bigging up his
Starting point is 00:29:43 10th man. Man, I forgot all about that. That's his man's, though. You know had a basketball legend bigging up his 10th man. Man, I forgot all about that. That's his man's, though. You know how you gotta look out for your man's? Like, I'm a stock I put on that. That's hate. That's hate.
Starting point is 00:29:53 That's hate. Wow. That hate is real. We got to clean that couch. That shit is dripping with hate right now. All right, so come on. Let's get in the pot. That is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Let's get in the pot. Who's leading? Who's leading the break? Somebody lead the break's get in the potting. That is hilarious. Let's get in the potting. Who's leading? Who's leading the break? Somebody lead the break. I grabbed the board. Outlet pass immediately. I'm not trying to bring the ball up. Outlet pass.
Starting point is 00:30:12 I said outlet. The goal is to score here. You can't get 50? Is anybody running toward the hoop? What's my man name? It's hard to get it. I can never get a triple double with y'all. Kirk Schur?
Starting point is 00:30:23 Kirk Smalls. Yo. Yo, watch your mouth. I wasnall. Kirk shirt. Kirk smalls. Yo. Yo, watch your mouth. I wasn't disrespecting Kirk. Flirt. It's cool. Yo, you can't do that. You can't just make up names for people.
Starting point is 00:30:33 All right, outlet pass. All right, we want to start with the heavy news? Of course. Yeah. Of course. So we lost a friend. Sometimes bad news comes too close to your door. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:50 It comes too close to your doorstep. This shit happens every single day, but sometimes the mail is addressed to your circle. Yeah. And see, I'm sorry, Ice, because you was talking. No, no, it's cool. When Ice called me, Was that Saturday morning? Early Saturday morning.
Starting point is 00:31:07 The pod had just dropped, right? Mm-hmm. I don't talk to Ice at that time. That's my point. Mm-hmm. So that already looked funny on the phone. So you pick up. Now Ice sounding un-Ice-like.
Starting point is 00:31:22 And he gave me the horrible news that Hovane has passed rest in peace to Hovane Hov we love you or you know it this is Friday morning I'm not reading anything but I think they said somewhere around 2 a.m. it don't matter he had a heart attack and we lost somebody extremely close to each of us. Go ahead. Did they put the cars out? Yeah. Oh, okay. I was trying to make sure.
Starting point is 00:31:50 He wasn't. Okay. Yeah, but I mean, toxicology is not bad. But he had a heart attack. Okay, so they had a heart attack. And that was the weekend for me. Yeah, my Saturday was fucked. Dang.
Starting point is 00:32:04 It was rough. I got the call. Actually, I got it Friday, but I just sat there. I still haven't... Processed? Yeah, I still haven't fully processed. I keep looking at the phone
Starting point is 00:32:18 expecting bro to hit me. We speak every... We had professional business, but this is a friend of mine for over 15 years. Important to so many up-and-coming artists. Established artists. Established artists. But the fun part of that was we got to watch him in real time work his way up to where he was.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Yes. So you start with Troy Ave, you end with Lloyd Banks. Styles P. Styles. He worked cams last year. He was active. Extremely. He was extremely active.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Extremely supportive too. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, definitely. Like mad supportive. Above and beyond. Like supportive isn't even a good enough word. It's not. That's true.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Everything that I ever did, he was always right there supporting me, rooting me on. And we did not have a professional relationship. That's who he was. And that's the story of Hovang. Yeah. You didn't have to be in business with him. You could just hit him with a question. He's right there.
Starting point is 00:33:22 He's right there. He would hit you before you had the question. That's true. Like you didn't even have to be like, yo, Ho need your help with this i don't know he would see i see what you're doing you know what i mean like every patreon nigga hit my phone yo you smoked it yo you did this or you did that just yeah just support on a different level it was just a different level and um sending me bottles of champagne every time I dropped a project. And he was a person that a lot of times people be afraid to introduce you or to plug you with their people.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Facts. They'll keep that. Facts. Because they want to make money off of that. Like, yeah, I'll middleman it, but I need. Hovain was never like that. Never. If you needed something and he knew somebody that could get it done,
Starting point is 00:34:06 yo, let me put you on the line with this person right here. He'll just text message you with everybody, all the parties involved. When I got married last year, we needed hair and makeup, and he plugged us with his wife. It didn't end up working out. Shout out to Kim. We love you. It's just little shit like that.
Starting point is 00:34:22 It's small. That has nothing to do with nothing. You know what I'm saying? That's true. There's so many people that's not like that. Like that has nothing to do with nothing. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's true. Like, it's so many people. That's not like that today. In this industry.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Shit. You don't find many just genuinely good people. Like when I spent all Saturday just talking to different people, we was just having like our whole vein stories. You know, we've been on the phone. Y'all remember this, this,
Starting point is 00:34:42 this is bugging out. vein stories no no we've been on the phone y'all remember this this this is i'm bugging out i remember he had me in brownsville brooklyn at 3 30 in the morning feeling feeling safe for us safe as shit like outside we was just chilling yeah chains was out yeah no no chains out but um you just don't get like there's no smut on his name. Zero. That's rare. Just a good dude, man. It's just a good dude.
Starting point is 00:35:10 And the sad part is how young he was. Like, I thought he was our age. You know what I'm saying? He was 34 years old, dog. Oh, wow. I didn't know he was that young either. I didn't know he was that young. I thought he was my age.
Starting point is 00:35:21 I didn't know he was that young until the news broke. That's crazy, dog. And so, even when I was talking to Corey, like the thing, when you lose these young, great people, like Colvin could have been Lucian.
Starting point is 00:35:37 You know what I mean? Like he could have been on a big Craig or Julie, that level in his business. There ain't no could have been. No, I'm just saying, at 34, dog, imagine where he was at 55. Imagine where he would have been at 50.
Starting point is 00:35:50 At 40, shit. I say that about all our young people that we keep losing. And I say it all the time, but yeah, like, dog, this shit is crazy. This one we were watching. Like, we saw it. It was crazy, bro. Like, his relationship equity that he had and just the knowledge of this particular business that is so hard to learn and grasp, he was on his way and that's what you know what i'm saying and
Starting point is 00:36:09 willing to share it that's what he's teaching courses he's he's doing a million he's active online you know he just got um he just won an award two weeks ago a week or two ago for something like it just was crazy yo like just featured in in Billboard as an up-and-comer or something like that. Power play. All that shit. Yeah. So shout out to his wife. Shout out to his children.
Starting point is 00:36:31 His family, the people that he worked with, his loved ones, their loved ones, that was just... And his fans, the people that were just a fan of who he was.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Couldn't have happened to a better person. And that's what stopped some of my crying. I caught myself, I was crying because it just comes out of you. And then I'm going down memory lane in my Hovain mental Rolodex. And I just started laughing and wiping the tears because it's like,
Starting point is 00:37:03 all I remember is like great stories of Hovain for me even when I tried to get it spicy like damn you down you you down with them niggas you cool with them niggas I ain't cool with over there but then you got to process and be like well everybody's cool with Hovain you can't be mad at somebody that knows how to play neutral be cool with you be cool over here Hovain would pop up just in the places you'd least expect to see Hovain because he was there in support of always. Yeah, I'm here supporting Wale.
Starting point is 00:37:35 I'm here supporting. Like, goddamn, when do you rest? So when I learned he was even married, I was like, goddamn, you move around. Like so many, rare that you find people that are passionate about managing others. Word. Yeah. Usually they're trying to use that as a springboard in a weird, sneaky kind of way.
Starting point is 00:37:58 It's always something funny. Trying to get that middleman money. That middleman money, yeah. But a lot of managers want to be stars themselves and he was a star by himself without trying to be a star like or if you're a star manager you've just got this roster of clients that this is just what you do you're making a lot of money in and you don't pay attention to a lot of them too like there's that part jovane was hands-on passionate about managing and helping and bettering others.
Starting point is 00:38:27 It's a skill. It's a dying skill set and one that should be appreciated. Right, but he kicked my ass half the time. Like, yo, we need to do this. No, we doing this now. Yo, this. And I'm looking at it like, I know on the list of artists or people that he's managing at the bottom. I'm down here somewhere.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Yet every two days Sometimes Yo man Yo man Yo yo yo Yo I ain't post nothing In six months You didn't do this Yo go do that
Starting point is 00:38:54 You know you got The hot pitch voice I got a deal over here For you with this Let's go get this Like You ain't post nothing In six months man
Starting point is 00:39:01 What Alright fam I got you, yo. No, that was sad. And I just spoke to him. He was at Dizzer's. He was at Dizzer's. Shout out to Dizzer.
Starting point is 00:39:12 When I did his pod, one of the things that gave me comfort was, and this is why I be so adamant about having a trusted circle and people that you trust in times where you need additional thinking. Right. I always tell a story about when my granddad was dying, going to get the coffin and I didn't want to go. But my mom said, you should probably go. Right. go right lloyd banks release album release dinner was another one of those moments for me where i'm not gonna go to this not because i don't respect lloyd banks that's my man 100 grand nothing but nothing but love for him but this is a private family he got his kids with him you know you want to give people their space but I went because Hovain said we want you to come and I just trusted him enough to say all right well if y'all want me to come
Starting point is 00:40:15 then I'm gonna come Elliot was there and like I said it was a beautiful beautiful event and I was there a little early so it's me and Hovain at the bar, and of course, we just cracking on each other's clothes, you getting money, ah, ah, ah, ah, all of that. Fly, man, super fly. I ordered something from the bar, and then he ordered something from the bar,
Starting point is 00:40:33 and then we just stood there, and we had a toast. Just to life, and our successes, and our families, and music, just for, listen,
Starting point is 00:40:48 life expectancy in this business is about the thing. It got down to four months now. I mean, it's short. So when you got your brother that you just seen start from the bottom and we hear now you celebrate that shit. So we had a toast and I stayed for another 30 and got out of there. But boy, was I just appreciative and happy and humbled
Starting point is 00:41:05 that we got to have that toast yeah that was important that was important for me yeah who we are is how we will be remembered and Hovain and not just Hovain, Jazz Fly. Like we've lost some people that have just been really close to home over the last few years. And I try to spear the podcast of these things, but there's been plenty of death just circulating between family, friends,
Starting point is 00:41:41 some of my older buddies, health complications, hospitals. Just, it gets real. That's right. It gets real. I mean, I say the little tag at the end of the pod, but I very much live by it. Life is a series of moments, and then they pass. You never know when it's your last time seeing somebody.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Mm-hmm. That's real. We be beefing over stupid shit, dumb shit. Right. Or just not keeping in contact because you take for granted, like this person is going to be here tomorrow. That's what I got.
Starting point is 00:42:19 That's what I got for you guys. My God is strong. I thought I was coming in here to deliver a difficult message and to have a really tough pod, I even probably saw myself crying through this, right, but I'm not as sad today as I was over the weekend, like, I'm here to celebrate and give back to someone whose life was spent giving it to us and others like there's not a reason to be sad if every impression left in every footprint traveled is just love well wishes, positive impact, teaching, helping, pouring into.
Starting point is 00:43:08 I mean, you said that you don't have that energy here, but energy don't die like that. That's true. So it's still present. So if you really want to honor somebody, you can learn from them and kind of implement some of that in your lifestyle. I didn't think I would be doing Hovain any justice to come in here and be sad for y'all because personally speaking I've never seen him sad that's a good one that's me I've never seen it. Always just happy, upbeat with a joke, a smile, a wisecrack. We lost the real one, yo.
Starting point is 00:43:48 That was all I could say Saturday. All I could say was we lost the real one. It was so bad, I was tempted. I almost got like these goofy niggas and posted a text up. It was bad like that. I had to stop myself. I can relate cause if you ever gave if there's ever a time to post a text
Starting point is 00:44:11 Hovain and text anybody with some positive shit you done hit me in times where I was like get this I can't even talk to you right now you too positive for me Hovain we love you, we love you, yo. Yeah, man. Love you.
Starting point is 00:44:26 We love you. Thank you. Gonna miss you. And just wow. And just wow. Kim, if you need anything from us, we're around. The stories say that this happened at around 2.30 and whatever the time was for Friday night, Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:44:44 I even hated on that a little bit. Like you so loved that you get to go with love. Think about it. I'm a big proponent of that. How you live is how you go. To go in that setting just loved and cared for,
Starting point is 00:45:04 that's a fucking gift, man. It's a gift. We love you, Ove. Oh, I got you. I got you guys. Yeah, you. I got you. I'm a little late with it.
Starting point is 00:45:15 I know. I know. I know. Damn, I'm still a little late with it. I'm a little off. Here we go. I'm still messing it up. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Oh, my God. What happened to Verified? a little late with him a little off here we go i'm still messing it up jesus oh my god what happened to verified come on man you pay the eight dollars here we go jovain had open invite here sometimes he just popped up facts Facts. And even then, he always came in and take a picture. And I hate taking pictures. But it's ho, what are you gonna do? But I took it. You took it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:56 Glad that we have those pictures. I am. Word. Girl, you're looking sweet dog now. You're looking sweet dog now. You're looking sweet, dog. Now. You drove by me. By the old baby. I remember, doggy. I always go to the kids.
Starting point is 00:46:12 I always go to the kids. You know how many kids Hovey had? Two. Two. Brooke and Claire. Huh? Brooke and Claire. Oh, and it goes without saying, but let me say it. If the family needs anything, somebody hit me.
Starting point is 00:46:39 If there's anything that I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know. Excited. Excited. Makes me wanna show. Also gotta say rest in peace to Irene Cara and Don Newkirk, who we also lost. Yes, yes, indeed. Legends. Definitely.
Starting point is 00:47:07 I will alert the audience. I will get to the bottom of mine and Ish's relationship at some point. But he has spent the next hour and change searching the records for this mythical triple-double. Why are we like this I wasn't doing that why don't we have this brother type of
Starting point is 00:47:29 there's something there's something there not even close you was looking for the box score you find the box score no he went to go he was confused I was looking for it
Starting point is 00:47:37 I was looking for the dude cause Joe said it was nice so most New York niggas that's nice I heard of them you know what I'm saying like I've been around basketball a long time so I never heard of Kurt Small.
Starting point is 00:47:48 So I was just going to see if he was super nice, like Joe said. Okay, but come back with your discovery of whatever you found. Come on, give me that. No, I just, and I, you know, a lot of the prep schools I was familiar with, too. Like MCI, back in my day, like Oak Hill has a long run. But like back in my day, it was mci um spartanburg in south carolina they were known for just putting out quality basketball players so laurenberg was something that i had never heard of but seems like they the shit like they have a track record
Starting point is 00:48:17 they're in the tops of sending kids to the high d1 schools that go on to achieve greater things and you're sitting right next to a guy who played in that very team and scored a triple-double. And had a triple-double against Oak Hill. How many games you played in that season? I ain't play. I ain't get no burn. So that was it? So you averaged a triple-double there.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Woo! See? See what I mean? I don't think that's how it works. Yo. So, of course, Ish looked to step on my moment. I did not. And he brings up Gilly now.
Starting point is 00:48:53 I just say Gilly. I don't even call Gilly. You almost made me call him. Gilly, I smoke your boot, show. Gilly in shape. He's in shape. Like, he is actively out here in shape. And he's showing off every moment he gets.
Starting point is 00:49:06 See that's the part I got to get to the bottom of. Gilly, who you don't really have a relationship with, you just come out straight with the big ups. Big ups to Gilly. Big ups Gilly. I'm not big up. I'm saying that he hoops. Big ups to Gilly.
Starting point is 00:49:19 I said I got to double and go. I don't know. From a friend. Nah, I see Gilly out here. You done been to war with me. Pull it up. Gilly is five foot five and weighs 70 pounds. And here cook your goose.
Starting point is 00:49:32 And I don't know that. What we talking about? A game of what? Like five on five full court. I won't be in that game. I'm not running up and down. Now you talk about a big three style where it's just half
Starting point is 00:49:43 court. I don't come from that school. He would be clotheslined on the floor before he cooked my booze. That's what you'll have to do. You'll have to hack him. But that's what I do.
Starting point is 00:49:51 It's not that. Make a shoot though. It's not that. That's what I do. It's not that. That's what I would have to do. That is what I do. Shoot or shoot.
Starting point is 00:49:59 You never really. All right. It's all right, bro. That's shoot or shoot shit. You're my man. I'm not even. You know what I'm saying? I know.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Most people are used to only seeing a clothesline in the paint. You a clothesline shooter? You just gonna hack the nigga? You a clothesline nigga? You ain't about to get on fire. My favorite part
Starting point is 00:50:18 of basketball games today is when the whistle blow and niggas try to get that extra shot in and somebody jump. Get that shit out of here. You're not about to get hot on my watch. Same thing. That's hate. But it's cool.
Starting point is 00:50:28 I got it. No, that's smart. Yeah, yeah. Hey, we gonna unpack that. Hey, is hate smart sometimes? Strategic. Come on, look now. Strategic. Look at Mr. Potter now. Now he don't want to bother. Because he don't want to admit to the hate.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Your man's hate on me was smart. It worked. That was not smart. Fuck that goofy chick. I never spoke to her again either. Nigga, fuck her. Yes, you did. That was your people.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Fuck on your own merit. That's corny to me. Everybody don't have merit issue. Everybody don't have. What kind of sweatsuit is this? Wasabi? Everybody don't have waggle kind of sweatsuit is this? Wasabi? Everybody don't have Wagyu sweatsuits. Wagyu.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Everybody ain't got the fancy ankle socks like you matching the watch. Stop, yo. Everybody can't do that. Everybody can't do it. Don't look at me. And you know what Gilly didn't do? What? Have a triple-double with Oak Hill.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Hey, they should have never showed me this. I'm about to be like Al Bundy at Oak Hill. Four touchdowns? Was it four or five? Five, I think. It was five touchdowns. Score five touchdowns in a game. I'm going to get it for you, dog.
Starting point is 00:51:37 I got you. Tell me your best game. And against who it was. I'm going to put it in. Was it on varsity? You made varsity? I can't even really kick it with niggas that. I was running around. So you didn't make varsity. Oh, no varsity? You made varsity? I can't even really kick it with niggas, man. I was running around.
Starting point is 00:51:46 So you didn't make varsity. Oh, so we can't talk. All right, come on. Move on then. Then move on. Talk about houses and some shit. Come on. What type of molding you use on when it's stucco?
Starting point is 00:51:54 Come on. When is stucco appropriate? Give it to me. Take it away. Fastbreak. Outlet is stupid, yo. All right, what else we got? What else happened out there?
Starting point is 00:52:04 A bunch of shit. Spotify, Wraps Up. I love the wrap-ups. I love the wrap-up theme that they did this year with the festival lineup. That was clever. That was dope. What did they do? So they took, you know, they give you the list of your favorite artists and shit.
Starting point is 00:52:22 They broke it down like a festival stage. Oh, that's why everybody was doing that. Yeah that's the only time i was doing a few of those i was like all right joe that's the only time i miss not not streaming because i can't do that shit i'll go punch that shit and nothing comes up yeah same but i don't use spotify so but other that should be looking a little yeah that shit's fly that was very very hating a little very clever on their marketing team or whatever whoever came up with that that was dope that was very very clever on their marketing team or whatever whoever came up with that idea that was dope that was super fly that was dope

Yo, y'all little chef pages on Instagram, y'all frying shit that don't even need to be fried. They frying it all. That's because they gave niggas air fryers now. Air fryers are different.
Starting point is 00:54:52 I got one now. I still don't touch that shit. What? The air fryers, that shit. I put everything in the air fryers. For the leftovers especially? No, everything.
Starting point is 00:54:58 Everything though. What's it doing though in there? Cooking. Yeah, it's cooking. You push the button and it'll cook. What's that microwave doing? Frequency, shockwave. It's the same. Is you push the button and it will come out. What's the microwave doing? Frequency,

I've been multiple times on the phone. All right, mom. All right, I'm going to talk to our whole hang up segue? That's my mother. My mom. I've been multiple times. I'm like, all right, mom.
Starting point is 00:57:27 All right, I'm going to talk to you later, OK? I was getting in the shower. I'm like, damn it. Well, moms don't care. There was a Geico commercial about that. That was funny. The commercial where the person was fighting everything in the world, juggling everything.
Starting point is 00:57:38 And his mom called. No, no. He was doing a neo. He had the dudes chasing him. He was shooting. He was mad busy. His mother called. Yeah, he was doing it.

His mom's called. Yeah. He couldn't hang up on mom. That's funny. Yeah. That is hilarious. But your mother. Because moms don't care what you,
Starting point is 00:57:50 like you said, moms don't care what you're doing. Like my mother, I answer the phone, hey, what's up? And she just go. Oh, that's another good question. How old was y'all
Starting point is 00:57:57 when you started to shed some of that? That was my parents' shit. Started to come into your own a little bit. What you mean? Yeah, what you mean. Beliefs? I'm asking. When you gave your parents just a little bit of pushback about something
Starting point is 00:58:08 that you wouldn't normally gave a little pushback on i was young oh yeah i was i was i was like 20 21 thinking i was oh no i was all knowledgeable i was young no i don't mean the rebellious i was young young i mean like when you an. Not when you a kid just saying, fuck my parents. No, my mother. When you an adult and you like. My mother religious, bro. My mother's the other kind of religious. Church is the normal, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:31 Yeah, so young. I was already inquisitive, 14, 15. I'm like, yo, but. If your mom is like that. If it was only Adam and Eve. How you stray so far from the Lord's light? Environment. Yo, but now you're like, yo, if it was Adam and Eve, they had two sons.

Starting point is 00:59:53 I recognize the scam, but relate it for me. Religion is really based on faith. Most religions, because a lot of the stuff you can't physically see is not tangible. We really don't know what the outcomes are going to be. They say if you live this certain way, then this should be your outcome. The shot wasn't based on faith. They forced us over there. This shit based on fear.
Starting point is 01:00:17 That's all it is. Religion is also based on fear. Everything is based on fear. Religion is how you control people. Religion, too. I'm saying fear is religion. If you don't live this certain way, you're going to go to hell. That's the control part.
Starting point is 01:00:27 God going to get you. That's it. Sky Daddy going to get you. Sky Daddy. Yo, what did you just say? Corey. Yo, what did you just say? T.C. High hanging around Corey too long?
Starting point is 01:00:34 Yo, what did he just say? Sky Daddy going to get you. If you don't do this, that happens. I almost called this dude his real name. Did you just call God Sky Daddy? Condescendingly, I might add. No, that's just what it is. If you don't...
Starting point is 01:00:48 See, niggas that had their dad played different. Niggas that had a dad, y'all jokes be different. Sky Daddy. Condescendingly, too. I can get real technical because who said that's the sky?
Starting point is 01:01:04 I told y'all it was the other way. All right, we technical who said that's the sky I told you What else we got what make this valiant just hit Forbes 30 under 30 Never really ever the cover store. That's good news. That's great.
Starting point is 01:01:28 I only laughed because that was announced the day that they were picking the jury for the trial. Of course. So I was like, so if that was Monday that they was picking the jury
Starting point is 01:01:40 and the GQ shit came out, I mean the Ford shit came out Monday, I'm laughing in my head saying, all right, so she wasn't 30 under 30 Sunday. Just yesterday. This wasn't true. Is this breaking news or is this a coincidence? Her team is excellent.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Amazing. Excellent. Yo, this game is ran by the lawyers and the publicists. I'm not talking about Meg no more. Don't think I'm sending shots. I'm not. I'm not talking about Meg no more. In general. I'm talking about period. Excellent. Yo, this game is ran by the lawyers and the publicists. I'm not talking about Magnum War. Don't think I'm sending shots. I'm not. I'm not talking about Magnum War. In general. I'm talking about period.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Yeah. The lawyers and the publicists, yo. You just saw Vlad blame the publicists for the sweetie not showing up. Sweetie called me Joe Leisha and gave Vlad the most beautiful apology in the world. I hate it here. I hate hip hop. I hate hip hop. What?
Starting point is 01:02:26 Nothing. You hate it too? I do. I hate hip hop what nothing you hate it too I do yeah I don't like this shit it's a bunch of bullshit I'm over it yeah you can't steal nobody I know we're not supposed to say that you can't steal nobody
Starting point is 01:02:35 you can probably steal somebody no no he can't yeah cause I'ma get sued that's fucked up Ryko's just crowded that's messed up that I'ma get sued if you sue somebody Ryko's just crowded that's what I'm I'm gonna get sued if you sue somebody
Starting point is 01:02:45 that's what I'm talking about I know that because one of my good friend my good spades buddies we had a spade game the other day right
Starting point is 01:02:53 just playing some cards the gambling aspect is different now but why you say that cash out you won't trick me you won't trick me
Starting point is 01:03:02 into doing it that guy's good that guy he's too rich shorts shorts your shorts You won't trick me. Don't trick me into doing it. That guy's good. He's too rich. Shorts. Shorts. Your shorts.
Starting point is 01:03:11 No, it was shorts. It was 25 a man. 25 a man. But you used to play for that. No. No? No, that was an argument for me back in the day. Okay. I didn't want to sit there and play.
Starting point is 01:03:21 We lock in. We do 10 hours. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 10, 12 hours a game. Y'all get busy. So come 10 hours, 10, 12 hour games. Y'all get busy. Y'all get busy. So come on, put some meat in the game. Like, let's make all the games matter.
Starting point is 01:03:30 So 25, no. 100 a man, that was, let's do it. And then whoever's down at the end, you let them get their bet back. So we're doing 25, $50 a game. Cool. But just the feel of it, the jokes and the laughs.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Well, you know how we talk about places that men can talk and feel safe at the barbershop? The Spades table is in that. I get to hear bum-ass Keef tell me about the Jets and Mike White. He Mike Whiting me for real. I bet he did. Oh, man. These Jet fans. They hype about that Mike White.
Starting point is 01:04:00 He Mike White. But Mike White. He balled out. He went crazy. He balled out last year against the Bengals. 400 yards. Like Mike White can play. They got a problem on their hands now.
Starting point is 01:04:10 Until the next week. That's the only thing that happened with Mike White last year. Well, they're going to give homeboys job. But anyway, so at the Spade game, we lost one of our vital members, Justin. Justin was a CEO at Rikers and he moved to Vegas. And I caught myself. I said,
Starting point is 01:04:33 Dad, why did he... I said, oh, well. Who the fuck want to keep going to Rikers if I could go to Vegas and be a sheriff? Mm-hmm. Rikers is bad. Rikers if I could go to Vegas and be a sheriff. Rikers is bad. You were?
Starting point is 01:04:49 Rikers is bad. Rikers is bad. You're welcome for that podcast privilege you had in there. I made the call. I made the call. Come on, man. He made the call. Triple double OG. Triple double OG. Look, now I'm just making shit up now.
Starting point is 01:05:06 You had the Oak Hill head coach call. Come on, man. We put that. Yo, keep them safe. Yo, that's good. Keep them safe. Yeah. Don't let nothing happen to my guy.
Starting point is 01:05:13 Whatever you do, make sure they don't ask him who he with. Because he might not know how to respond. Then 40 of them jump on him. Now you got one pretty green eye. Now you Eric Sermon what's wrong with your man yo what's wrong with your man yo this guy is a fool
Starting point is 01:05:34 man that wasn't even a good example Eric Sermon got two good eyes nah but nevermind I thought about something else yeah you know why hip hop is phony
Starting point is 01:05:41 y'all made Houston fucking slash his eye out nobody ever said nothing else about it. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I like that. It was Houston? I like that. Work that.
Starting point is 01:05:54 Well, you know Houston is Houston. That I know. Houston. I think Houston's name was Houston. Okay. Oh, really? Yeah, I didn't know that. I didn't know that either.
Starting point is 01:06:04 I think so. And I only know that. Oh, really? Yeah, I didn't know that. I didn't know that either. I think so. And I only know that because that shit was shooting up the charts when I was trying to get a record out. Uncle Sam is one of my favorite one-hit wonders, too. Anyway. I don't ever want to see you again. You know that song. Oh, wow. Early one morning while you were again. You know that song. Oh, wow. Early one morning while you were asleep.
Starting point is 01:06:27 You know the song. That nigga always try to show off his singing ability, yo. You nice with it. You nice with it. I'm going to get to the bottom of it, yo. I'm going to get to the bottom of it, yo. I can't sing at all. That nigga can sing.
Starting point is 01:06:36 I'm going to call my mom on this guy, yo. No, he can sing. But you can sing, too. I can't sing more for fuck. That nigga can sing. I can sing Anger the Triple Devil. That's crazy. You ain't hearing with the riffs.
Starting point is 01:06:48 I get a little brought up. Yeah, you get busy. Come on. What else is important? Balenciaga is suing the production company that they hired to do the ad for $25 million and put out some statements saying they're very sorry and how could something like this happen and people need to do better, including us. And it won't happen again.
Starting point is 01:07:07 And it won't happen again. Y'all, I'm going to give you 25. Just give them that. Now, but contrary to what y'all always come in here and kick, I do think that they will feel the effect of that. I think so as well. I think so too. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:07:17 I definitely think so. OK. Sometimes y'all go too far over the line. Yeah, that's true. This country fuck with dogs and children. Yeah. You can't do that to no kids. Because what type of sick brain are you to put the paperwork underneath it?
Starting point is 01:07:31 That's the other shit. Come on. That's the shit that was inexcusable. Right? Like somebody's. Balenciaga. Somebody had to prove it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Word. Oh, that went through a bunch of people. Somebody had to. A bunch, yeah. A bunch of people saw that and said, okay, yeah, this is it. That's the only part where I. Saw it before they even saw it a bunch Yeah A bunch of people saw that And said okay yeah this is it That's the only part where I saw it Before they even saw it
Starting point is 01:07:48 The idea A bunch of people Yeah The little outline The production Yeah Mark Mark up whatever this shit is
Starting point is 01:07:55 Again I'm I'm still on the other side Where I just don't think I already saw Kim Kim K jump out Defend him Like
Starting point is 01:08:03 Defend the Balenciaga Yeah They made a mistake What she said They made a mistake I'll pull her exact Words up He saw Kim K jump out, defend him, like defend the Balenciaga. Yeah. They made a mistake. What she said. They made a mistake. I'll pull her exact words up. And while you do that, I'm going to find another little clippity clip to play up. Would you look at that?
Starting point is 01:08:15 There it is. Ready, right on the go. Bop, bop. Confused leading blacks with black leaders. Let me tell you why you don't do that. One of the reasons you don't confuse them, black leaders are chosen by you, they're chosen by the people they're going to lead, they're chosen by us. But let me tell you about the leading blacks. The leading blacks are chosen by the media. Leading blacks, leading blacks are chosen by the media. Leading blacks.
Starting point is 01:08:45 Leading blacks are chosen by ABC, all broadcasting Caucasians. Leading blacks are also chosen by NBC, nothing broadcasting but Caucasians. And the rest are chosen by CBS, the Caucasian Broadcasting System. And when you allow leaders to be chosen by the media that's owned by the corporations, when you get ready to change your lives, carefully watch and see what the leading blacks are doing. Because that's when the leading blacks sneak into the door to the corporations, they will tell the corporations oh we know how to go and put them down we know how to get you some real affirmative action negroes to come in
Starting point is 01:09:35 at the end of the day the leading blacks lead the corporations and the leading blacks have gotten paid while we have gotten played have gotten paid while we have gotten played. All right. Bars. Yeah, them bars right there. Yeah, something light. Light work.
Starting point is 01:09:50 So what can you say, Ice? Come on, give it to us. Another leading black. I've been quiet for the past few days. Ice or Kim K? Kim K. It's both, unfortunately. Not because I haven't been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns,
Starting point is 01:10:08 but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened. As a mother of four, I've been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society period i appreciate balenciaga's removal of the campaigns and apology and speaking with them i believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures measures for this to never happen again as for my future with balenciaga i'm currently re-evaluating my re-evaluating my relationship with the brand that word caught him off a little bit. Shut up, John. Basing it off of their willingness. Those Vs.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Go ahead. No, I'm alone. I'm done. I'm currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off of their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have
Starting point is 01:10:58 never happened to begin with and the actions I'm expecting to see them take to protect children. Yeah. Shane rock with them. Based on them accepting accountability. Tell the truth about what he just read, man. Come on.
Starting point is 01:11:12 What you mean? What? I don't think she rock with them. Okay. What do you think? You agree? Wish? No, he's saying that she kind of rock with them.
Starting point is 01:11:21 I don't think that. I accept the apology. She shot a little bit of a bell She shot some good She shot the bell Based on what they I think she's saying Yo
Starting point is 01:11:29 Based on how y'all Move in the future I might consider Still apologizing She's setting herself up She's setting herself up To come back and say Yo y'all
Starting point is 01:11:36 I vetted it out And it's good I apologize And I'm gonna continue My business with them Possible And she threw in All of that publicist
Starting point is 01:11:44 Jargon Mother of four The hate Children Deeply rooted We got you dog And I'm going to continue my business with them. Yeah. Possible. And she threw in all of that publicist jargon, mother of four, the hate, children, deeply rooted. We got you, dog. Yeah, I get it. We got you. If you're not going to come back and tell us what you about to do differently, then save all of this. Like, I know what this is.
Starting point is 01:11:57 Could be. That's what I looked at it as. I don't think she about to dead her whatever business. No, I don't think so. I don't think so either. With them, I don't. But I don't think how she worded it, like, I'm shooting y'all know.
Starting point is 01:12:06 She definitely shot a bill. Bring back the women that supported their husband in some views. I'm quiet up now. Yeah. Yeah. Why I can't just say something and my wife just support that for a little bit. Why you got to wait until there's some other shit going on to speak out against some shit,
Starting point is 01:12:27 huh? Nigga. Husband in the fight for his life. Nigga fighting for it. He woke up and- I'm not going to say the word. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Joe.
Starting point is 01:12:36 He didn't even wake up. You can't remotely compare the two. If it don't apply, let it fly. Yeah, like- If it don't apply, let it fly. Same husband. Same husband. Same husband. Grabbed me and my family through the media for months.
Starting point is 01:12:48 No, I'm not saying she should have done that with hers. I'm just saying bring back the women that will. Oh, okay. I thought you was saying her. That's why I'm like, huh? Get away from that nigga. That nigga driving you crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:01 I support that. Word. Even though it was a little fake article. I don't know if it was fake But it was a little article That you gentlemen Chose to ignore That said Tom Brady's wife
Starting point is 01:13:09 Bought a house across the street Oh I didn't see that I saw it I didn't see that one That's dope Dope huh It's cool when they do it It's cool when they do it
Starting point is 01:13:19 We came in here And had 90 think pieces When Kanye bought a house Across the street We did We did Come on Ace you was there I was right there Think piecing
Starting point is 01:13:32 It's a little different Why? Cause this nigga's been stalking and harassing She's stalking him That's why he's losing to the Panthers No she ain't Then why you across the street from me? For the kids.
Starting point is 01:13:46 For our children. Oh, y'all one of them. Y'all one of them. Y'all one of them. Y'all one of them. I know Isis. His original dad. Yo, you can't remotely.
Starting point is 01:13:56 He's ground daddy. I know Isis. I know Isis. Yo, you can't remotely compare the two things. And you think Kanye wasn't for kids? Yes, it was for the kids, but it was also for her. Now, stay there. You nasty-ish.
Starting point is 01:14:07 I would love to speak. No. Fam, Kanye for months was ragging on her man, ragging on her, ragging on her family. You ain't heard Gisele say a peep about Tom Brady. Not you defending her and Jerry Jones again. Look at the narratives he's talking about. Not you defending Kim and Jerry Jones again, Look at the narrative she's talking about. Not you defending Kim and Jerry Jones again, but with vicious when it came to us.
Starting point is 01:14:30 Oh, my God. Yeah, there was on us. See? There was on us this week, boy. Even threw me in a little bit of that. And then I got to be solid. I'm so solid, and the internet never say it. I didn't say, nah, that was my man.

You can't do'm gonna try to engage with like I'm serious you can't do both you don't think no and still be an employee I haven't seen it done successfully I guess if I try to think about it like I think of OJ I think of Tiger I think of Michael Jordan I just think that's the way to do both we're shut up yo I'm just to stay out of that. You just got to shut up.
Starting point is 01:18:25 Or you're going to kill me for this. I do think that LeBron tries to do that. I was just getting ready to say you have to hit LeBron. He tries, but even that don't come across as organic and authentic. He plays safe on certain shows. But the public knows it. You can tell it. He plays safe.
Starting point is 01:18:39 He picks his spots. No one will do it, but he's self-employed. Denzel doesn't. Denzel don't give a fuck. He'll say whatever he want to say, but he self-employed. So he not really, you know what I'm saying? Is he self-employed? He self-employed.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Well, I'm sure he's probably a 1099 for these companies. I know what I'm saying in a manner of speaking. He don't have a boss that he got to report to. You know what I'm saying? But he's still actively looking for gigs. But he don't talk. Like when he give you something, he give you the jewel, and you don't hear from boss that he got to report to. You know what I'm saying? But he's still actively looking for gigs. But he don't talk. Like, when he give you something, he give you the jewel, and you don't hear from him for the next.

Starting point is 01:21:50 And I'm sitting here thinking I got episode four to get to and I don't. Friday. But this show is that. Just watch it. Is it a tune-in? Watch it. Yeah, because they do a great job of story and character development.
Starting point is 01:22:36 Everybody, people keep popping up, and it's important to recognize who these people are in the story. But they kidnapped some girl they shouldn't have kidnapped for political reasons, and she's a scientist, and her brother is that dude in the Navy. I'm always right when he playing your team. I be right when he playing your team, don't I? We was agreeing with you. Yo, he earned it. He's getting the whistle.

Fucking niggas putting their balls in his face. He out there shooting threes. All right, Nook Lopez. Nobody was paying. Nook Lopez.
Starting point is 01:26:03 It's Nook Lopez. But nobody paying for Nook Lopez, all right? Nook, yo, this guy's a fool. Anyway, on to some other news that I was right about. That's my favorite part of the show. That's probably the only reason I have a show. To tell me how right you are? Just to come here and tell people how I was right.
Starting point is 01:26:18 Here we go. This one is for Ice. All right, let me hear it. MCU. Direct. Whoever that is. I don't know if it's official or not Oh the page I know the page

Starting point is 01:26:48 You niggas always want to pull these little slogans out. Only when they apply to y'all, boy. Here we go. Romantic scenes between Shuri and Namor in Wakanda Forever were filmed and tested with audiences, reveals editor Michael P. Shauver. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:27:04 That's it, huh? They wasn't in the movie. They tested a whole bunch of shit and said, no, we're not going to do that. What's the problem? I didn't see it yet. It's a weird way of saying you was right, Joe. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:27:19 You were correct. You were correct, Joe. There was romantic shit. That's a strange way of wording, Joe. You was right again. Oh, my fault. You need to hear that. My bad. You were correct, Joe. Need to hear romantic... That's a strange way of wording, Joe. You was right again. Oh, my fault. You need to hear that. My bad.
Starting point is 01:27:25 You were correct, Joe. Need to hear it or should I hear it when it happens? You brought it up because you wanted to hear it. So you might have needed to hear that. Or should I hear it when it happens? You brought it up because you wanted to hear it. That one time, and this is why I'm going to change friend groups soon. No, honestly, for real.
Starting point is 01:27:40 I'm going to tell you the truth right now. That one time that we was in the escape room and the whole room was stumped over a compass, you got us out of there. And the whole room paused and said, thank you, yo. Without you in this moment, we would have been lost. Just reciprocity, yo.
Starting point is 01:28:04 It's not just Lauryn Hill that needs it. It's not. Thank you, yo. Moving right along. Thank you, bro. Moving right along. Meek and Ross on stage. I like your first
Starting point is 01:28:12 and the 15th. Thank you, bro. I appreciate that. I appreciate that, bro. You better stop publicly liking the 15th. You better shut your mouth off. You better shut your little mouth off.
Starting point is 01:28:23 I don't know why you even talking. What happened on those dates? He keep trying to be Potter of the year. Yeah, he trying. He keep trying to walk the line. You better shut up about your little business. Come on, Meek and Ross.
Starting point is 01:28:34 Meek and Ross hit the stage. Yeah, Meek had a 10-year anniversary concert for Dreams and Nightmares album. Round of applause for Meek. All the heavy hitters out. Dreams and Nightmares album. Round of applause for Meek. And Burt. All the heavy hitters out. But yeah, Meek and Ross on stage together was a big deal.
Starting point is 01:28:52 Looking beautiful. Where was the show? Philly. Philly, of course. Philadelphia. That's dope. That's what I said. And what the internet said.
Starting point is 01:29:03 I don't know what they said. I don't know what the internet said either. Ice. I was just like, you know, I laughed. Wasn't sure if it was dope or not. Yeah, I don't. We knew for a minute we've been hearing rumblings of tension. We haven't seen them together.
Starting point is 01:29:16 You about to take us out of here. Uh-huh. Tanner, clip this. And I. I just found this. This is what Ice thinks about the Meek and Ross reunion make it spicy too like the podcast dudes
Starting point is 01:29:27 oh man make it spicy like them other podcast dudes be doing so I just found a little humor in it because the way I found out
Starting point is 01:29:35 that this even happened was I saw Ross post on Instagram and he tagged his caption was Maybach music Meek hasn't screamed Maybach music. Meek hasn't screamed Maybach music in years.
Starting point is 01:29:52 So I took this as, you know, because Meek is on this, I'm independent, I'm doing everything this way. I kind of took this as a Ross way of saying, hey, dogs, I see what you're doing, but you're still Maybach music over here, buddy. That sounds like the opinion of somebody that be taking niggas off albums. I didn't take niggas off anything, though. I said niggas. I've definitely taken niggas off.
Starting point is 01:30:14 Sometimes niggas need to be taken off, though. I'm just doing the work that the engineer should have did. But in this case, it was just- Were you happy about the reunion? Yeah. I was happy. How could you not be? I you happy about the reunion? Um Yeah I was happy I was happy about that Yes
Starting point is 01:30:29 I am happy about the reunion Okay I was hating I just think it was a little Extra motive in there I was hating Why were you hating? I'll be honest here on this part
Starting point is 01:30:39 I was hating a little bit Why? Cause about If you caught a record or run about six or seven years after i came out i'm tight you could go for like the next you could do the shit you could do this if you caught any motion from 2010 and on and not oh one oh two oh three oh four they're still country for you these kids are erasing history i just seen a meme going around of all the tiktok kids laughing at the 2012 2013 era of mustard kid inc fat went all the notes on they were laughing all the Fetty Wap era I was like wait
Starting point is 01:31:25 hey wait a minute you kids wait a minute yeah yeah ageism is a thing in hip hop it is ageism is a real thing
Starting point is 01:31:36 in hip hop it is if the kids wasn't out you gotta remember these kids right and we do this kind of simple math all the time
Starting point is 01:31:43 we talk about the generation gap you four years older than me right that if you six seven that's six in six seven years there's a whole new
Starting point is 01:31:51 crop of niggas on the internet with new opinions beliefs theories ideologies and they vocal about them
Starting point is 01:31:57 yeah hey y'all I think Eminem was a plant wait huh wait a minute you kids
Starting point is 01:32:04 well they just learned a new word and run into the ground that too that happens well I know Eminem was a plant. Wait. Huh? Wait a minute, you kids. Well, they just learned a new word to run into the ground. That too. That happens. Well, I know. They also never heard of Raucous Records. They never heard of that battle scene.
Starting point is 01:32:13 They never heard of, they wasn't there. So if you just hear and you've got 20 years of your little knowledge, these little niggas is quick to tell you their opinion. I think that such and such.
Starting point is 01:32:22 That's Smokey Robinson. Remember when Kanye put that record out with Paul McCartney? And it was like, look at this white dude they did a favor for. That's Paul McCartney. You guys. Sir. Play with something safe. Anyway.
Starting point is 01:32:42 Ageism is a thing in hip hop. It is. That's where you kind of get mad at Ageism is a thing in hip hop It is Like that's what you kind of get mad It's like yo dawg If you play basketball Like my My nephews They watch
Starting point is 01:32:51 Them niggas be watching Rod Strickland They be watching Stockton They watch Me They watch Yo we never escaping this Yo what position you play
Starting point is 01:33:02 We never I'm asking you You know what What position you play The wild part Or hybrid. I ain't even mad at it. Yo, Ice.
Starting point is 01:33:09 Tell them how this goes, yo. You was the two? They said I never reminded me that I had a triple-double against O'Gill. Or just created it. You know what's funny? That only matters because it was O'Gill. Nah. That's a major grit.
Starting point is 01:33:23 Nah. And who said it? Yeah. That matters. That holds the weight. Nah. And who said it? That holds the weight. Really? Hell yeah. What if it was just a regular person that was there? Okay. Yeah, whatever. He's just saying that because The nigga said, yo, he had a triple-double. I gave him like 50. For somebody
Starting point is 01:33:37 to say, yo, I gave somebody 50 in a lifetime? No, I gave Oak Hill 50. They couldn't do that, man. A lot of timeouts from Oak Hill that game with Kurt Smalls. With some frustration? Coach Gill never seen nothing like that. Yo.
Starting point is 01:33:55 Yeah. 50. From them little timeouts. Just keep doing that. Yo, dog. Just, I'm in the corner. But that's one of them feelings as a man that you just, well, for me anyway, that's one that I would love to be able to embellish in.
Starting point is 01:34:09 Like the guy who went out there and scored 50. No matter what you say about Brandon Jennings, he went out there and scored 50. About a 50 in the books, 52. No matter what the experts say about Jamal Crawford, he put 50 up on every team, on all of y'all. Like when you could do that, like that's a stat. A stat. That's different.
Starting point is 01:34:27 I'd have made a bunch of your great stumble. You know that nigga Jamal, he'll come down. Jamal Crawford is different, different. Different. He's different. Different, different, different. And another one that's been running from the Joe Budden 101. Jamal Crawford.

Starting point is 01:36:23 I ain't going to lie to you. Your mother told me it was kind of fancy. So I can only imagine what these shit look like. Yeah, this was super fly. This is kind of fly shit. I thought that this was super fly. I ain't going to lie to you. Your mother told me. That's an adult. So I can only imagine what these shit look like. Yeah, this was that times something else. And to send nine of them, I thought that that was a real adult gift. That was a real adult gift. It took some thought. To send somebody.

Starting point is 01:40:43 I've had mad girls defending the no shower shit and that shit is crazy to me. Excuse me? How women are, yeah. You ain't getting nothing in yet? I haven't gotten anything. Oh, you don't be replying to the- I don't even see the DMs.
Starting point is 01:40:58 Dog. People are like, yo, ain't no difference in men not taking showers and women not taking showers. I'm like, uh. It is. I personally shower. This is. I'm like, uh. It is. I personally shower. This is why I'm against men staying out of women's business. They need to know that? Sometimes.
Starting point is 01:41:13 No, no, no. There's some shit you need to know. They need some information. And that's my business, too. Shit starts smelling a little weird in the room. A little weird. That ain't me, ma. That wasn't me. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 01:41:22 I'm tapping you on your back shoulder, right where your baby daddy's name is tatted. Hey. Hey, Terrence. I'm sorry. I don't act like this around new people. Hey. Hey, Richard. Hey, yo, T.

Yo, keep the change. Keep the change, killer. Speaking of Houston, do you see that Deshaun Watson's coming back against the Houston Texans? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:09 They had that plan from the rip. And they're bringing the accusers to watch the game from the box. You're going to ball out. You're lying. Ten accusers. The lawyer bought a box or whatever. And nobody has a problem with that. That is definitely a problem.
Starting point is 01:42:23 And I'm going to keep it a buck. If a nigga really sexually. Don't do that. That is that is a definitely a problem and I'm gonna keep it a buck if a Nigga really sexually. Yeah Yo, cuz your loop your white privilege makes that face smoother than mine you're doing the same thing I'm doing No stop y'all do it please because I'm a killer Because I'm going to kill I'm going to get a gangster Yeah alright I'm going to leave it alone then Because that's some bullshit
Starting point is 01:42:46 I said on my side That's some bullshit The lawyers be playing With the victims That Fam I'm going to bring you here Make you watch
Starting point is 01:42:52 I don't see how this benefits anybody Parks If some I mean If you have some traumatic shit Happen to you It ain't funny Because one of my people
Starting point is 01:43:01 I don't even want to laugh One of my people Who just told me Something happened to her Last week Alright Dog If some man Did something to you Inappropriately It ain't funny because one of my people. I don't even want to laugh. One of my people just told me something happened to her last week. All right? Dog, if some man did something to you inappropriately,
Starting point is 01:43:12 the last thing you should want to do is to be present at the 50-yard game watching him fucking throw touchdowns. It's no lawyer that could have coerced me into doing that. Is this true? Is that true? Yeah, before I even get into this, is this true? That's how foul this sounds. Is this true that he's definitely playing against Houston, right? Yes.
Starting point is 01:43:27 Yes. He's playing Houston. I'm starting him. But, yeah, dog. Like, if some man. This nigga's a fool. It's from TMZ. It's from TMZ.
Starting point is 01:43:36 Oh, no, it's true now. Yeah, he about to go off. He about to go nuts. Hey, Josh Allen said it. Who the receiver's that game? He off. If they... No, no. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:50 A lot of that. A lot of that. Yeah, why you doing all that? Yeah, a lot of that. Fuck. Yeah, you make sure. You'll be getting my shit, fam. Write that one down, brother.
Starting point is 01:43:59 Yeah, you'll be getting my shit. Write that one right down. Yeah, please. Like, nah. Come on. That's some nasty work. I don't... Yeah, that's disgusting. And for you to let the lawyer
Starting point is 01:44:09 to play you like that, you a dodo. You lawyers are crazy. I ain't even blaming the lawyer. No, it's the lawyer. They got to, yeah, but they got to agree to do that. Pars, can't no lawyer make me go
Starting point is 01:44:18 stand in front of somebody that did some sexual misconduct to me? Fuck you talking about? That's a... At the 50-yard line. But if he's like saying that this might be good for your legal situation or something like that. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:44:32 Yo, I know this is. They settled already, didn't they? Come on, fam. I know this is foul because it sounds like something Olivia from Law & Order would do. Olivia break all the laws to get the case done. Nah, especially when it comes to because you know she got
Starting point is 01:44:48 on the show. Yeah. She go all out. I doubt if she's going to have the victims at the 50 yard line. That's what she does, yo. Yeah. Olivia might do that.
Starting point is 01:44:56 What's going to make him do? Throw an interception? I seen her. I hope he don't. I seen Olivia fake on the show to get somebody in jail. Olivia going to get you.
Starting point is 01:45:06 Olivia was foul, yo. It don't be enough on Olivia. Oh, no. I bet I had a whole. It's fine. Why CPSA? Never mind. It's fine.
Starting point is 01:45:14 It's fine. Please. Come on. What else is important? Elon Musk says that Apple doesn't want to advertise with Twitter because they must be against free speech. Who wants to tell Elon? I'm a little tired of Elon, man.
Starting point is 01:45:28 Yeah, yeah. Bruh, I see how you get along with your man. And he also said that he posted some shit showing the top 20 or so, the biggest donors to the Democratic Party. And they was just all huge, huge, huge corporations. And he was like, yo, this don't seem biased to y'all. And it was like, yo, fam, you don't say that when- I'm sure that the Republican Party's biggest donors are all the same shit. That was my thing.
Starting point is 01:45:53 He's annoying. He's annoying. He's annoying. And if you're Mr. Free Speech and everything being even, I could send my money where I want it to. Post the other side of that too. Right. Don't just post one side.
Starting point is 01:46:03 Yeah, he ain't get no box. Huh? He ain't get no box. Where? High school. Ah. College, none of that too. Right. Don't just post one side. Yeah, he ain't get no box. Huh? He ain't get no box. Where? High school. Ah. College, none of that. None of it.
Starting point is 01:46:09 He was the nerdy nigga that was just out here, smart as hell. He ain't get no girls. And the money got him the girls. Mm-hmm. Your man, Ye. Well, thank you for that unpacking.
Starting point is 01:46:20 Thank you for who was fucking in high school and who was... Because that tell a lot, yo. You can tell. You can tell these niggas got cool when they got a couple dollars. You can definitely tell. You disagree? No, I don't think chicks were running around dying to fuck somebody named Elon in high school. That strikes me as odd in the first place.
Starting point is 01:46:40 Stupid. I thought I should have been getting more pussy in high school too. Why? Is that a triple-double? Triple-double? That's what happened, yo. No, there wasn't no girls in that game. That game ain't nothing.
Starting point is 01:46:58 There wasn't no people there. Ice, is that hate? Ice just said what? I'm asking you. Ice said there wasn't no people there, yo. You got to repeat me. You snitching. Yeah, word, word.
Starting point is 01:47:07 Yo, come out. We caught you. Yes, yes. That was hate-ish. I wanted to talk about the Soul Train Awards. I didn't even know that happened. Because every performance at the Soul Train Awards was magnificent. And they were performances that you wouldn't typically see at the major award shows.
Starting point is 01:47:26 These performances didn't look like they were dictated by record sales. Who they want to sell next. Star power, selling ads, the secret part of the award shows. We didn't even know the awards happened. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, I have no idea. Well, because it costs money to let y'all know that the awards are happening. Well, that's what I said.
Starting point is 01:47:43 You said it wasn't dictated by selling ads. I'm like, you can tell they wasn't doing that. But let me see if I could find this here. Because I was blown away. I didn't know they were happening either. I only caught wind because the performances were that amazing. Let's see. Where are they?
Starting point is 01:47:58 Y'all talk while I find them. Which performances did you see? Let's see here. When were they? Okay. I think it was Sunday I guess Shantae Moore we just started last pod with Shantae Moore good to see that Shantae Moore still sounds like this Shantae Moore is not someone you would typically see perform at a
Starting point is 01:48:19 big award show not right Coco Jones oh okay she one of my new favorites one of my new favorites Coco Jones but what I'm saying performed I mean these people are highlighted with a light shined on their performance attention paid to it right Jay Holiday listen to Jay Holiday still sounding good. Who knows that he still sounds good? I wouldn't know that. I was happy to see Jay Holiday. It's good to be 50 years old with a classics record, with a smash.
Starting point is 01:48:59 What, Bad could come on at any time. It could. And you're going to respect it. Ari Lennox.'s probably another one that should perform at more bigger bigger award shows hey yeah with bands and choirs and Tank and J. Valentine did slowly, highlighted, nice little colorful tuxes they have on. Oh, oh no, that's when I go deep. That part right there. Yo, anytime you fucking, you match the lyrics of the song.
Starting point is 01:49:39 Hey, extra bonus points. What else? What else? What else what else come on sir listen to the people I'm naming though musicians we're serving it hmm we're serving it sir yeah he just dropped that Nothing Even Matters record a couple weeks ago he's had a project a while Float performing cardboard box
Starting point is 01:50:10 I'm not familiar with them some guy named Q a new guy that his voice seems phenomenal I know Q and Money Long
Starting point is 01:50:19 stole the show with like a whole Tyler Perry-ish performance that acted out the record. Like, I thought more attention should have been paid to the performances. Where was this aired? This was Saturday or Sunday.
Starting point is 01:50:35 By what channel though, I'm saying? Or does that feel too addy? I just want to go find it and watch the replay of that shit. No, I didn't know about it. I forgot. I actually did forget. I didn't even hear about it. Me either.
Starting point is 01:50:44 I didn't see on the timeline. I don't know about it. I forgot. I actually did forget. I didn't even hear about it. Me either. I didn't see it on the timeline. I don't know what channel, but I think the Soul Train Awards is still on like regular TV or BET. I'm going to find it. I'm going to find it. I want to watch the replay. GH1.
Starting point is 01:50:54 Either way, it would behoove you to see the performances because everybody showed up. That shit sounds amazing. I wish more award shows were based on the merit of the artists and the art. You know, like that whole little letter the Grammy guy put out about this were based on the merit of the artists and the art. You know, like that whole little letter the Grammy guy put out about this is based on the art. Eh.
Starting point is 01:51:10 If that were true, the performances would be indicative of that, such as the Soul Train Awards. So I want to shout out everybody behind that. On the flip side to that. BET? Yeah, BET. On the flip side to that, you said you wish more award shows did it. You know, we didn't even, a lot of people, like you said, it costs money to write. Art don't generate revenue, yo.
Starting point is 01:51:29 Yeah, so it's like, we here to make money. Yeah, we might want to, focusing on the art only might not be what makes us money. We need to go get these names. It's a fine line between the two. It's a little hard. It's a fine line between the two. Shit ain't easy. Super Bowl, don't give a fuck who win.
Starting point is 01:51:46 We just sell an ad, yo. And that's the business side. We want a good game. But if we don't, we want these teams here. Giants, Cowboys, most viewed regular season football game in the history of the NFL. Really? At 45 million. 42 million.
Starting point is 01:51:59 The other day? I thought it was 45, but you know, man. Yeah, last week. Okay. To put that in perspective, the Super Bowl, I think, only gets 100 mil, 110 mil, something around here. Oh, wow. And it was a regular season game.
Starting point is 01:52:10 Regular season game. Thanksgiving game. With us down three offensive linemen and two sisters. Let me just keep throwing that one out there. Yeah, it got me zero points. I can't even look at this no more. Now I got to fucking look at the commanders on my back. Look at me.
Starting point is 01:52:24 I can't even talk to this no more. I got to look at the commanders on my back I'm a realist but depending on the day I'm a realist I wish that you would be a real depend on the day I'm always a realist and the realist double entendre double entendre don't even ask me how what else is super important out there speaking of commanders did you guys see the uh the thing the Sean Taylor statue celebration double entendre double entendre don't even ask me how what else is super important out there speaking of the commanders did you guys see the the thing the Sean Taylor
Starting point is 01:52:48 statue celebration situation that got everybody in a tussle he's trying to piss us off it's disgusting he's trying to piss us off I was trying to skip it
Starting point is 01:52:56 it's disgusting somebody somebody report him tell us your man Dan Snyder put up a quote unquote thing honoring Sean Taylor. You remember Sean Taylor?
Starting point is 01:53:06 Yeah, yeah. Rest in peace, Sean Taylor. Rest in peace. Hell of a player. It ended up being like some makeshift mannequin bullshit. It wasn't like a real... Yeah, it was like a mannequin.
Starting point is 01:53:16 It was basically a mannequin. Some bullshit. He went to cheat. I mean, everybody went... He's a multi, multi... No, no, I'm saying he went to... Yeah, you don't do that. Everybody was up in arms about it.
Starting point is 01:53:24 As they should be. As they should be. Don't honor me if you're going to do some bullshit. Leave me alone. He's a multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi up traction too. Like I think they about to make that shit on the next award show. Whoever it is. If it's the Grammys I'd steal it. Yeah. Come on over here and do that. Oh I would 100 percent.
Starting point is 01:53:51 Yeah. I'd steal it. Hell yeah. I'd steal it. But Jesse does all them shit so I wouldn't be surprised to see that tribute pop up somewhere.
Starting point is 01:53:57 Yeah. The Grammys have been losing clout with the blacks anyway. I'd definitely make it up right here. Come on over here and celebrate Michael and
Starting point is 01:54:03 yourself. Because that shit is fine. Yeah. Yeah. I don't see that happening, but I would love to see it. The Grammys and them, they playing a different type of business game.
Starting point is 01:54:16 Yeah. We need to win this black business bet. I get that, but it's a lot of people that are going to be pissed off with that as well. They don't want backlash. They want to keep it as low as, and as less waves and ripples as possible. I don't see it happening.
Starting point is 01:54:32 I would love, you know, I would love it, but. Nah, it's your man, but I don't know. They play different.
Starting point is 01:54:39 I think we starting to show the power in the black dollar, but let's see. I'm about to see it. True. I don't care how many Christmas lights they put on new shoes. I'm good. Somebody walked in the executive meeting
Starting point is 01:54:49 at Balenciaga with Christmas lights and they put them in the bags and the shoes and everything else. Ain't going to get me, buddy. No, sirree, Bob. That shit could blink up all it wanted, little beast. Nope.
Starting point is 01:55:00 I need to sell my shit. It's just costing once. Just look good. Nah, just do like my son. Throw him an incinerator. When's the last time you've been by an incinerator? Shout to Mice. When's the last time you've been by an incinerator?
Starting point is 01:55:15 I never know. They still had incinerators. That's poor people shit, right? I wouldn't know that about people like you. Yo, Kim, you're not walking me off the ledge, my nigga. I'm good. He be trying to get somebody. I'm asking him a question.
Starting point is 01:55:26 I want to know. All right, forget it then. That's not bad. This poor people shit. I just want to say, you guys have been really enjoyable for me this far. I don't know why that is, but man. You're on your triple-double high, so everything's enjoyable. That's it.
Starting point is 01:55:40 That's what it is. That's what I'm saying. I just can't believe y'all hated on that, yo. Why wouldn't we? Because y'all are friends. That's why we hate it. That's backwards in the male community. Nah.
Starting point is 01:55:53 In the black community, we got to reverse that. That's horrible. All right, part of the show. Part of the show. Okay. We have YN. Shout out to YN. Shout out to YN shout out to yn hey yn yn says okay feeling a little triggered my bad hi guys okay so i'm watching i believe episode 581 and y'all just spoke about what is
Starting point is 01:56:19 okay for your woman to wear around the house ish referred to monitoring what his woman could and would wear as to not entice his homeboys based on her body type. And I had to pause to write this. In a previous relationship, a dude policed what I could wear because of my curvaceous and thick body. That policing, best word I can think to describe it right now, around the house seemed understandable, especially considering when his homeboys was over like an issues example. Unfortunately, I love the plot twist. That type of governing of my wardrobe turned wild when at a family function, he decided that my garb was inappropriate. Mind you, we were surrounded by his family, a party for his gay uncles.
Starting point is 01:57:08 That's shade, which was a luau, and his sister dressed me. He ended up getting loud and eventually picking me up to attempt to stuff me in his car, saying how he was taking me home. Yeah. We all seen that guy at the party. The wolves. Carrying your girl out over the shoulder to put her in the kitchen and scream your fucking ass out. His brother had to check him hard.
Starting point is 01:57:31 It caused a rift between them for a while. My question for Ish and any of you gents, when does the do's and don'ts of what your girl wears become toxic? Do y'all ever consider
Starting point is 01:57:44 the trust for your girl's decision-making Do y'all ever consider the trust for your girl's decision-making when deciding the boundaries of her dress? Since she directed this to you, I'm going to direct it to you. Oh, actually, this is a great question to ask with a woman around. It definitely is.
Starting point is 01:58:00 And we happen to have a woman around, so I'm going to ask her to join us specifically for this in case Ish gets out of line. We have Ish's kryptonite, the Ish killer. Some of you know her as Melissa Ford. Others know her as Mel. Let's hit the round of applause.
Starting point is 01:58:21 Come on, come in, Mel. Come on, help us out. You should have queued up. I'm looking for applause. I'm looking for some applause. Here we go. Hey, come on, sit right. Come on, come in, Mel. Come on, help us out. I'm looking for some applause. Here we go. Hey! Come on, sit right. Come on. Come on.
Starting point is 01:58:31 It's a little different from last time you were here. Get comfy. We're out the basement. Yes, we're out the basement. There's no shade. No shade whatsoever. Millions were made down there. The boots, we can see everything now.
Starting point is 01:58:47 I got dressed for you guys. Thank you for joining us. I love you guys. I love you guys. We love you back. I do. And you look great. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:58:55 You're welcome. I appreciate that. I try not to tell women that when they have like 30 years of hearing that. I'm like, you cool. You all right. You all right.
Starting point is 01:59:02 You look good. You all right. At that point, you know how to judge certain compliments. You judge who they come from and what you believe the intention behind them is. Trained assassin.
Starting point is 01:59:14 Yeah. She's a trained assassin. I mean, don't I look like a fucking ninja? Hello. A little bit ninja-ish. A little ninja-ish, right? And sound like a ninja a little bit. And I'm sure I have the same results as ninjas. I'm positive. I'm positive of that silently killing niggas
Starting point is 01:59:29 thank you for joining us I also love your audience they love you too by the way I've been trying to get Mel to come fuck with niggas for a long time let me just say that let me tell you something LA is a fucking vacuum okay like once you Mel to come fuck with niggas for a long time. Let me just say that.
Starting point is 01:59:46 Let me tell you something. LA is a fucking vacuum. Once you get in there, it just holds you. It just keeps you. You're just swirling in that fucking airbags. Come to New York. I know. Energy. But now the new digs.
Starting point is 01:59:59 I mean, I could be the studio manager. The studio manager. Double duty. Oh, I could hear those relationship conversations already. I don't know if it'd just be the studio manager. The studio manager. Double duty. Oh, I could hear those relationship conversations already. I don't know if it'd just be me having them. I'll be in the back like, hey, what are y'all motherfuckers talking about? Okay. That would be awesome.
Starting point is 02:00:13 It would be awesome. We would love that. It would be amazing. Ish. She asked a bunch of different questions. Well, her final question, I'll read it to you again. No, I got it. I got it.
Starting point is 02:00:23 Okay. I think the toxicity was already there. I don't think the woman's clothes makes the guy or his response toxic. I think that's an insecurity in the man already. That's my personal opinion. However, there is, in my opinion, a line that is crossed. So when you step outside, if you're in a relationship, you represent your partner, guy and girl.
Starting point is 02:00:50 So women oftentimes look at it from a one-sided thing. It's like, yo, dog, if your man got a big dick and he outside every day wearing basketball shorts or gray sweats, you have a problem with that. Stop acting like you wouldn't have a problem with that. You'd have a problem with that. Have you ever policed your man's wardrobe if that nigga tried to leave the house in gray sweat no i'm kidding no um no i've never i've never policed what my man and this is more so about what your partner wears in the house when company comes over. See, so I said it was a bunch of different partners.
Starting point is 02:01:25 Yeah. But so initially, last pod, we had a conversation where I talked about, we asked like, I forgot what the question was, but my thing was, you know, there was a time when one of my exes, she just would wear what we wear at home. But regardless of whoever was there, she'd continue to wear that. You're in your 20s, so sometimes women don't feel like
Starting point is 02:01:47 that may be inappropriate. So I think that's the guy's job to step in and say, hey, yo, change it. But there was one little thing on your list that shook the table for the audience.
Starting point is 02:01:56 They looked at it like it was toxic, and I don't think so. So I said, yo, if your girl is voluptuous, that's first, right? Because we all dress for our body types, right? So if your girl is voluptuous and she's walking around with a halter top on and some spandexes, I think that's inappropriate.
Starting point is 02:02:10 Yo, go throw on one of my t-shirts, some sweatpants, some shorts or something and rock out. The spandex is what shook the table for the audience. No, it's honestly when you're walking around with a voluptuous body, you're literally walking around with an arsenal of weaponry. I mean, that's just the reality of the situation. And the truth of it was really evident during one Super Bowl. I can't remember which one it is. I feel like it was like 2007 when Indianapolis was playing Chicago. And they had a Lane Bryant Intimates wear commercial. And they've had Victoria's Secret lingerie commercials all over the TV. Didn't matter. Super Bowl, Monday,
Starting point is 02:02:50 whatever the fuck. But nobody said anything. These Lane Bryant models, and if you know what Lane Bryant is, it's for curvier women. I mean, they were just everything. The cup runneth over. They looked so good.
Starting point is 02:03:06 And I'm straight as they come. But these women looked yummy. The uproar was unbelievable. You'd swear that these women had just walked a catwalk with KKK hoods on or something like that. From the uproar, how obscene and inappropriate. I was like, obscene, really full figured women's bodies are obscene.
Starting point is 02:03:31 I was like, the Christian crowd needs to just, you know, fundamentalists need to sit the fuck down. Okay. So, but that's the reality of the situation. So for me,
Starting point is 02:03:40 give me your Twitter in case they disagree with you. Give me your Twitter handle in case they disagree with you. Give them your Twitter handle in case they disagree with you out there. No, but so I'm not finished. So even in my 20s, I had optics, you know, and that's just for me. When I was home, chill for me would be sweatpants. And I would be extremely cognizant of who came through the door, even though this is my domicile. This is where I live and I can make the rules.
Starting point is 02:04:11 If my man is there and his friend just came over, you know, it's different from me being on a magazine. This is front center. This is personal. I don't want, I just, for my own comfort level, I would want to be a little bit more um discreet because i just and understanding your weaponry yeah you know and like people will be will probably be like but you were on the fucking covers of magazines in your underwear bitch like
Starting point is 02:04:40 what the fuck and i'm just like That was different It was like It was You know It was a profession You know what I'm saying A chick does porn I'm like She wanna fuck every dude Running around the street
Starting point is 02:04:50 Exactly You know what I'm saying It's the same thing Exactly And so at one point Like I had like a female roommate And she had a boyfriend And anytime I knew
Starting point is 02:04:57 Her boyfriend was coming over It's my apartment Where I pay the rent But you better believe I put on sweatpants T-shirt, whatever, because I don't want there to be any, I don't want there to be like, you know, any coloring outside the line. I don't want there to be any, you know, questions of, well, your intention.
Starting point is 02:05:16 Now, did she respect me in the same way? Absolutely not. I had a guy come over, this bitch was in fucking booty shorts. And I was just like, Absolutely not. I had a guy come over. This bitch was in fucking booty shorts. And I was just like. Did she have a booty though? There you go.
Starting point is 02:05:29 Let me tell you something. She walked out the room. He was just like. Girls do that a lot. Not even on her best day and your worst would I. I said, you don't even have to tell me that. I mean. It's the fact that she doing it.
Starting point is 02:05:42 Just the fact that she did it. I was just like, I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation.
Starting point is 02:05:44 I'm in the wrong fucking situation.
I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. I'm in the wrong fucking situation. to fuck the roommate. Who the fuck, who are you talking about?
Starting point is 02:05:48 I mean, stranger things have happened. But, so, she is basically in agreement with me. I just, it's a level of decency
Starting point is 02:05:56 and appropriateness and insecurities too. Yeah, but I do, that matters. Now, how do you feel about outside of the house?
Starting point is 02:06:03 Because that was the second part of her question. So, it's two parts. When you step outside your door, you're representing your dude. Now, how do you feel about outside of the house? Because that was the second part of her question. So, it's two parts. When you step outside your door, you're representing your dude. So, if my girl is walking outside with fishnets on to church, that's a representation of the man. Now, mind you, she can wear whatever she wants to wear. The church says come as you are.
Starting point is 02:06:22 I know. Ish don't. Okay. Ish don't. Okay. Ish don't. Yeah. Okay. But yo, no, I'm just saying. And again, the flip side is I wouldn't wear something that my girl deemed inappropriate.
Starting point is 02:06:35 You wouldn't wear fishnet either. That too. So. Yeah, it depends on the guy too. Like some guys. Some niggas don't care. Some guys really love when when they when their girl flexes you know and like she got the body and she puts on like the skin tight shit and
Starting point is 02:06:51 every motherfucker wants her he likes to be a voyeur for that shit and i've definitely dated that guy where he just stood by the bar and watched the just the chaos ensue but it's a different and he felt so good knowing he was going home with me. That's funny. And... You did get hard. Yeah. You did get a little hard.
Starting point is 02:07:09 But also, what was the biggest turn on for me was the security that he felt in himself to literally just sit there at the bar with a smile on his face and just let...
Starting point is 02:07:19 Not policing you, none of that. Not just... You feel like you that nigga. But you didn't feel like you that nigga. It's him and you that nigga But then I literally dated Right after him Dated a guy who was Wanted to
Starting point is 02:07:31 You know just Is there a difference In sexy and raunchy Yeah absolutely So your girl being sexy She just gonna be sexy She could wear Some jeans and some stilettos
Starting point is 02:07:42 Nigga with a blazer on And shut shit down. But there's a difference in having all your ass out. You know what I'm saying? It's just a different thing. Give them your Twitter handle in case they want to talk to you. They know already. They know already about what you're saying.
Starting point is 02:07:55 They already know. So that's just my personal opinion. I think every relationship, those two people decide what is appropriate in their relationship. You get what I'm saying? And I agree that like there's toxicity already present with his desire to want to police in the first place, you know. So that's already present. Based on insecurity. At the end of the day, when you're in your 20s, you know, this is the time for you to make all the fucking stupid ass mistakes, you know. But it's also the time where you are basically going to be
Starting point is 02:08:25 the best version of yourself like you are you're shiny and glossy and you're stunning and whatever else you should have a lot of fun with that you know I wish that I'd had more fun with my 20 year old my 20s you know what I mean we definitely got to talk to you on Patreon. You getting too much cap off right now. You wish you had more fun, huh? I was so reserved. I was so reserved. I know nobody believes me. You know we was running around.
Starting point is 02:08:56 What? We were running around the streets of New York. Who was? Joe and I. Oh, okay. And then what happened? Don't put me in it.
Starting point is 02:09:05 Don't put me in it. Don't put me in it. Y'all never saw me running around the streets? Did you? I didn't. I didn't. I know you didn't. I didn't. Yeah.

Starting point is 02:12:10 Okay, sorry. Listen. I don't think how I dress now is too far off how I used to dress, right? These, I used to wear Uggs. One time we was on tour. They stopped the tour bus. We was in like some cold part of Canada. It was an Uggs store.
Starting point is 02:12:23 I went in there. I bought the uggs that we wear still to this day and i was the first rapper to wear them uggs outside in his normal travels you know the ones the slipper ones with the fur in it and nigga said those ain't foul doors and i said suck my dick so now any of these joints with the fur in it is joe's copying immediately.
