Starting point is 00:00:00 The thoughts, views, and opinions expressed by this podcast, as well as its hosts, are for entertainment purposes only. I repeat, it is not serious. It is not real. No one is exposing, revealing, indicting, or telling you anything about themselves. Also, we do not encourage you to try this at home. We are trained professionals who do not have your best interests at heart. Or our own. Enjoy the show. It's pod day. It's pod day. Beginning of the universe. God, spiritual matter, impact on material matter. Okay. Your question, where did God come from, assumes that you're thinking of the wrong,
Starting point is 00:00:37 obviously it displays that you're thinking of the wrong God, because the God of the Bible is not affected by time, space, or matter. If he's affected by time, space, or matter, he's not God. Time, space, and matter is what we call a continuum. All of them have to come into existence at the same instant because if there were matter but no space, where would you put it? If there were matter and space but no time, when would you put it? You cannot have time, space, or matter independently. They have to come into existence simultaneously.
Starting point is 00:01:04 The Bible answers that in ten words. In the beginning, there's time. God created the heaven, there's space. And the earth, there's matter. So you have time, space, matter created. A trinity of trinities there. Time is past, present, future. Space has length, width, height.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Matter has solid, liquid, gas. You have a trinity of trinities created instantaneously. And the God who created them has to be outside of them. If he's limited by time, he's not not God the guy who created this computer is not in the computer he's not running around and they're changing the numbers on the screen okay the God who created this universe is outside of the universe he's above it beyond it in it through it he's unaffected by it so for dandy I the concept that a spiritual force material body well then I guess you'd have to explain to me things like emotions and love and hatred
Starting point is 00:01:48 and envy and jealousy and rationality. Starting point is 00:08:08 What you was about to say. I'll say it. Please don't. I'll edit it. It don't matter. Say it. Of course. Of course you're going to edit it.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I'm recording because I edit. Whatever. Mel is not here. I asked her to take a few pods off. The guys just didn't seem to know how to act when she was around me. That's what it was? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It it was too much it was too much too much going on figured we get back to a dude cast dude can cement some men thoughts out here she was adding too much maturity no I'm joking I'm joking of course okay Mel had to step away now I had to take a little break because Mel is committed so
Starting point is 00:08:46 salute to Matt she had to stop at some point to do what she got to do behind the scenes so we appreciate her we love her we will miss her and she's a woman so even though she's not here she's still been sending a bunch of topics that she wants us to cover yeah the same the same group chat that these guys did they too good to talk in he was only when Mel chat that these guys today too good to talk in. He respond only when Mel talk and he think he too good to my Megatron.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Da, da, da, da. Nobody care about that. Nobody care. Talk in a group chat. We a team. That's the problem. One band, one sound. We all one band, one sound.
Starting point is 00:09:17 We all one band, one sound. No, you're not because you guys are trying to be the smartest in the room. I told y'all. I still show up to sound check. A flip. Share the topics.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I'm team player all day, fam. I come in here, write my topics on the board. We discuss it. We here. All right, we don't want to hear a pod about a pod. Everybody feeling good? Yeah, feeling great, man. Feeling great.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Feeling great. All right, all right, good. I wanted to start this off with some pocket watching. Okay. Let's talk about some pocket watching. I was out wild this weekend. Yeah, I saw a little bit. Don't try to expose yourself.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Oh, okay. Go ahead. We'll do the exposing. We got him. Look, early in the game, we got him. He jumped out there with his. Yeah. That's like when you...
Starting point is 00:09:57 I don't want you guys to look too deep. No, we look deep. That's like when you know it got back to your girl, so you try to... Yo, yo, I can't be this too. I was CP. It's defense. Yeah, it's hard. when you know it got back to your girl, so you try to. Yo, yo, I can't beat this dude. It's CP. It's defense. Yeah, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:10:07 I hate when it get back to your girl. Before you can get it back. Yeah. Pocket watching, you know, I started. Good. Because I pocket watched you this weekend, nigga. No, everybody here pocket watched each other, so we're going to get a quick 10 minutes off about this.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Parks, where you was at? What you was doing, man? I had to get Grammy ready, man. No, but where you was at, though? I started at Little Saks Fifth, you know what I mean? Got my wife right, you know what I mean? Something nice for the feets, nice dress, you know what I mean? Had to find something for myself, dude.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah? The feets. How much them ran you? A couple dollars. They did. Chanel ain't cheap. A couple dollars.
Starting point is 00:10:41 What? You said what? Whoa, whoa, whoa. You said what? What? Uh, uh, uh, uh. What? You said what? Whoa. Whoa. You said what? What? Uh, uh, uh, uh. What? She loved the shoes.
Starting point is 00:10:49 What was I going to say? I bet she did. That rent conversation helped you, didn't it? Huh? Yeah. Sheesh. So, you know, I was going to just wear my tux from the wedding, you know what I mean? It's a black tux.
Starting point is 00:11:00 It's a black tie event. I thought that would be good. But I said, you know, maybe I'll look for something white. You know what I mean? If I see something I like, first couple places didn't have nothing. I mean, they had some nice shit, but it wasn't what I was going to do. So then you went where? I went to Bergdorf.
Starting point is 00:11:13 And they just had it right there staring at you. But you didn't hear him, though. You didn't hear him. See Parks? You got to hear what he's saying? I heard him. The first couple spots, they ain't had nothing. But if I saw something, I don't really need nothing.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Yeah. But I'm going to keep going to spots until I find something. I know he did some shit because he pronounced the G. Yeah. Bergdorf. I've never heard it pronounced like that. That's how you know you went there and went crazy. Alright, you went there. What happened?
Starting point is 00:11:39 I looked around. I don't care. What did the receipt say when you finished? It was a lot. Well, I let you get that off on your wife's shoes. A couple dollars. That's pretty vague. Five figures. When it got to you. How many figures you spent, yo?
Starting point is 00:11:51 It was only four, but it was. It was high four. It was up there. It was mid four. It was close enough. Wait, what floor you went to on Bird Off? Two? Two.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Oh, he's old. He's dumb. You went crazy. Yeah, I went crazy. I went crazy. They only had two white jackets Wait hold up You bought them both
Starting point is 00:12:07 Nah You bought the cream Or the white Well it's a little creamish Cream Did you decide on your own Or did you have a little help I had a little help
Starting point is 00:12:14 I know Yeah Cause when you get off on two Shout out to Lisa man She held me down When you get off on two There's attached help Yeah
Starting point is 00:12:21 This nigga spent I spent I spent Lisa helped him figure out what was what. And then she just kept adding on. I was like, oh, maybe I should get a different shirt. I only got the pleated tux shirt. I don't know if I want to do pleated. I got you, sir. Take a look at this one. That shit fit
Starting point is 00:12:35 like a glove, man. Different than them Puma shirts. A little different from the polo. Puma tees. Now they got me. Souma teas. All right. No, they got me. They got me.
Starting point is 00:12:46 All right. So Parks has grown up right before I. Yeah, man. I see why you like it, though. It's an experience. It's a nice experience in there. You know what I mean? That's what Ian said when he went over there.
Starting point is 00:12:58 He's like, I see why you're going there. Yeah. Once you go in there, they get you. Oh, yeah. It feels good in there. Oh, yeah. They're very kind. They talk about your life. You know what I mean? They really get, they get you. Oh, yeah. It feels good in there. Oh, yeah. They're very kind. They talk about your life.
Starting point is 00:13:06 You know what I mean? They really get it out of you. You're like, yeah, I could spend six grand on a jacket. Fuck it. In more ways than one, they get it out of you. But when I was a rapper and I heard people talk about Bird Off, they always made it sound like the shit in there was 10, 15, 20, 30 grand. They almost made it seem like you better not even step foot in there if you didn't have it.
Starting point is 00:13:26 But that's not really what Bird off has some shit in there. It's mostly expensive, but there is some shit. There is some shit. I mean, you shouldn't make 50 grand a year on Bird off. Now, I will say this.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Our listeners are doing well out here. I ran into several podcast fans and listeners and supporters in these fucking high-end luxury stores. Salute to them. Yeah. Now you see my experience. Yeah. They be like, oh, Joe, I'm listening right now. I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Yeah. Facts. It's like, okay. I hear you. That's why when the Reddit niggas Talk about I hate Joe talking about money They're like Why? Most of the podcast fans
Starting point is 00:14:09 For years though For years For years Studies show that The people who listen to podcasts Are doing okay But do you think more of them Can relate or no?
Starting point is 00:14:19 Like The people that's listening to a podcast I'm talking about We got a lot of listeners here Dog Don't get me to talking I'm going to put my Republican hat on And that's how I'm talking about, we got a lot of listeners here. Dog, don't get me to talking. I'm going to put my Republican hat on. And that's how I'm going to sound.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Live performances will be a luxury ticket. Podcasts are a luxury ticket item. That is my belief and that's how I'm riding with it. You lost me with the podcast part. I know you used to start talking about when you was rapping, and niggas used to talk about Bergdorfs and Barneys
Starting point is 00:14:50 and shit like that back in the day. Mm-hmm. Dog. Barneys closed down. I know. Bergdorf next. Shit. Nah, that shit.

Starting point is 00:19:13 They couldn't see it I'm tricking the system over there I got a good little system going You got us But wait don't do that Because I'm spending a lot of money You are spending a lot of money I'm spending a lot of money
Starting point is 00:19:23 Why when they call They never call about that? Oh, Joe, how much money you spending? No, they never call and say, yo, I ain't going to lie to you. I see you spending a lot. You got a lot of faith and belief in what we're doing. You do. He don't really do that.
Starting point is 00:19:38 He don't call, period. Yeah, he don't call. He don't answer. Yeah, you know. Shout out to the niggas that Joe like. Anybody that call and say, yo, you getting a lot of money. Oh. Well, no, we spending a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Well, he just called me over the weekend and said that. Spending a lot. No, you are. But also. Just say that then. But also. Because I believe in you. Also, I want to put a request in.
Starting point is 00:20:00 We need camera covers and covers because you be inviting niggas here and they be copying our set. Like, stop it. They taking pictures and videos. No disrespect. You need to put camera covers and covers because you be inviting niggas here, they be copying our set. Like, stop it. They taking pictures and videos. No disrespect. You need to put camera covers. You need to put, because, and I be watching your face. You be trying to keep it, I don't like it, nigga.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I'll talk. I'll talk. He's always something there. We got to put the little. A nigga walked in there like this. Nigga walked around. I'm like, and Joe just standing there. Look at E.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Look at E coming out. We need to block that Nori was here nobody say it to him I did say it Nori was here why you ain't say it
Starting point is 00:20:29 to his face I told his man Nori already threw him he said that's a revolt nigga he took himself out of it
Starting point is 00:20:34 shout out to Nori man that's what they do that's what people do you just gotta get used to it I don't like that shit but you gotta get
Starting point is 00:20:40 used to it if you do something dope get ready for people to try to copy what you do that's a fact respect and it's not Nor dope, get ready for people to try to copy what you do. That's a fact. Respect.
Starting point is 00:20:46 And it's not normal. People will emulate. Or try to emulate. They might not even pull it off the way you can do it. There's no way around it. But you can't just go in a place and record. Can you? You don't just record and shit?
Starting point is 00:20:56 You can't record anywhere in the world. Especially today. That's all niggas is doing is walking around recording. Now, is it right or is it right to do that in some instances? A little rude. A little tacky. Bad taste. I wouldn't do it.
Starting point is 00:21:11 If I were going to do a show, if I can't take a mental picture of something that I want to remember here, I'm not about to, unless I'm going to ask your permission. And normally, if you try to ask permission, you can get the sense from the tone whether they want to tell you that or not. If anybody go talk to Erickson about these cameras, they could tell within two words that he don't want to talk to you about these cameras. Fuck no.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Two words, fuck no. I don't improve on things. Of course, you see people doing dope shit and you want to ask questions and networking shit, but I improve on this setup by just looking at this setup
Starting point is 00:21:39 and knowing what's trash and what's not trash. When we need a better camera, I ain't go to you and say, yo, we need the six such and such and such. Because that's what so-and-so uses. I wouldn't say, how do we make this look better?
Starting point is 00:21:51 Right. That's your job. Go figure it out. All right. Let's get to it. A lot to get to. You guys look great, smell great. Come on, good energy here.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Top red. Top red. I mean, that's not The most important Thing here Let's do a little NFL man It's a dude cast NFL
Starting point is 00:22:10 I told y'all I told y'all Pat Mahomes had ESPN No you did though You did That's all I got to say about it Y'all can take it away I ain't got nothing to say
Starting point is 00:22:18 That was a great game The two teams that I called Are playing I called the same teams Pat Mahomes is I'm happy Alright we need more analysis Like he's just I called our plan. I called the same team. Pat Mahomes is... I'm happy. All right, we need more analysis.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Like, he's just... No, I was about to. Dog, the shit that he does is like watching Michael Jordan when you was young. And doing that with a high ankle sprain is crazy. He just gets it done. Like, that's it. Like, I don't give a fuck if I got to crawl. He's going to get it done. That shit is just amazing to watch in real time.
Starting point is 00:22:46 He be falling down. He'll flip the ball. He just do anything you want to do. One of the little shuffle passes to the running back was like, how do you? Yo, on a high ankle sprain, like a high ankle sprain is not a bum injury. That shit is real. Like, niggas be out six weeks. Facts.
Starting point is 00:23:00 He came out there on a high ankle sprain making plays that Dak won't make with all the might in his body. And ran for the winning first down. That's the play Dak won't make. That's the one I'm talking about. Yeah, that was the one with that ankle sprain still taking off. Because the commentators kept saying how he's playing a game, but he hasn't ran because he can't run. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:22 And it's like he saved that one little burst that he had for that play and stupid penalty but yeah i didn't like the penalty but i mean it was a valid penalty i just don't i hate seeing like the super bowl be decided by a fucking unnecessary roughness but i think that by the way i think the chiefs were going to win regardless same but i wanted to see more football i'm greedy it wasn't going over time it wasn't going over time he was gonna hit it from there. Probably. He can kick. Yeah, he can.
Starting point is 00:23:47 That's why I was like, I don't get what y'all so mad about. He's, all right, put him 15 yards back. He's still going to hit that kick. I don't know. It was very, very windy out there. No, that was Bucker, right? It was very windy out there. It was crazy windy.
Starting point is 00:23:58 He wasn't missing that, bro. He wasn't missing that. He's one of the best in the league. He a monster. But amazing game. Great game. Amazing game. No disrespect to, I mean, they ain't even having nothing to hold their head over. he's one of the best in the league he a monster but amazing game great game amazing game no disrespect to
Starting point is 00:24:06 I mean they ain't even having nothing to hold their head over no they played a great game Joe Poole came out got busy
Starting point is 00:24:11 show why he's one of them and he'll be back I think the the Mahomes Joe Burrow thing is something that the NFL just happy as hell
Starting point is 00:24:22 that they can market from now on in the AFC and then Hurts and whomever, not fucking Dak, when they find somebody else that's going to be marketed in the NFC. Burrow's a really good, really, really, really good quarterback. He's going to have to do some learning about politics and how they work and the part that they play in sports. Expel. Talking all that shit.
Starting point is 00:24:44 He got on TV. they asked him a specific question that lady that asked him that question didn't write that question the question came from somewhere hey what do you think about the nfl selling tickets blah blah hey better get those refunds okay a little cocky it's a lot of work that we have to do behind the scenes just in being prepared and i get having a chip on your shoulder but we heard you and the refs that game look like somebody heard something that they didn't like that's what it looked like yeah the refs that game looked like two things to me one somebody heard something they didn't like and two like i also said we saw cincinnati in the super bowl last year and nobody really wanted them there.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I'm not talking about fanfare. I'm talking about the people in charge of the shit. They didn't really want Cincinnati there. Last year it was supposed to be Pat Mahomes. You blew it. Now you're blowing it again. We're going to show you, kid. We're going to show you something.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Sit down. And unlike some of the commentators, I thought Joe Burrow played a hell of a game. They're talking about it wasn't the best Burrow. Shit, one ball hit the dude in the helmet. The other ball hit the dude. These are all catchable balls. That was a dot. That wasn't hit him in the head,
Starting point is 00:25:56 Javar Chase in the helmet. It was a dot. The final interception was a dart. It just happened to get tipped. And Kansas City secondary happened to come up with it. It's a game about plays and timing and inches. So, yeah, I thought Joe Burrow played a phenomenal game. Chris Jones played a hell of a game.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Yeah, he did. Yeah, he did. Boy. I think we're going to see Burrow, Mahomes for the next 10 years. I do think Burrow has probably replaced Josh Allen in that battle. For now. We'll see. See, I forgot about that.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Because the last year in that game that was probably one of the best games ever played, we just kept thinking, all right, Josh Mahomes, Josh Mahomes, Josh Mahomes. We forgot that Burrow beat Pat, and Pat didn't forget. And Pat didn't forget about it. I forgot that part too I'm coming in there with a broke ankle
Starting point is 00:26:48 the ankle I saw him getting around I could beat you off in the pocket like this in the second half when they said Juju went down dude went down
Starting point is 00:26:58 he went down Hardman went down everybody everybody went down I said oh yo you can catch we might have a hard we might have a hard time right now.
Starting point is 00:27:05 But they didn't say Kelsey went down. Right. And if you're not saying Kelsey went down. Then you got a shot. Then you got a shot. I love how the rookie Pacheco, available on most waiver wires all season long in fantasy. He came to play. He did.
Starting point is 00:27:23 He came to play. Listen. I think that... I have the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. I'm kind of up in the air about that one still, but I wouldn't be surprised. The Eagles... Best team in football. The offensive line and defensive lines are too good. Best team in football. Too good.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Really? This year? Yeah, they're balling out. Kansas City? No, the Eagles. I got the Eagles winning. I called the Eagles in that game. I called they're balling out. Kansas City? No, the Eagles. Oh, you got the Eagles. Oh, okay. I called the Eagles in that game. I called it being a blowout. I'm disappointed that Purdy got hurt. Yeah, and homeboy. If he didn't.
Starting point is 00:27:54 And the other. Yeah, back there. And homeboy. We don't even know you. Chad Williams. I don't know whoever you are now. Justin Jones. I don't know what his name was.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Yeah, me either. Neither did his teammates. They was out there like, who are you, nigga? Where you get that jersey from? Oh, all right. Yeah, so I'm disappointed that it went like that. But I had the Eagles winning by double digits. Anyway, listen, the Giants gave away Bradbury,
Starting point is 00:28:18 gave him right to a team in the division, our number one. You didn't resign him. They already had Darius Slay. You knew what that looked like. They're O resign them. They already had Darius Slay. You knew what that looked like. Their O-line, their D-line. Monsters. Their O-line, D-line, and corners. I don't care what Jalen Hurts do.
Starting point is 00:28:34 He out there looking like a game manager to me. I don't think he's going too crazy. He's going a little crazy, but I'm not going to do that. He's developed a lot. His arm has gotten way better in the last year. That nigga don't belong nowhere in the same field with Patrick Mahomes. They're not going to win this game because Jalen Hurts showed up to play against Patrick Mahomes. That team
Starting point is 00:28:49 top to bottom, I think, is just stacked. They are stacked. That's what I got. No question. But if somebody could beat him, it would be Patty. I need Pat on two good ankles. I need Pat on two good ankles. You got two weeks for him to heal. Yeah, I want to see what the injury report looks like before I make my pick.
Starting point is 00:29:06 I don't need to see it. Patrick Mahomes could be out there in a walking boot. The Eagles is getting the fuck off the field. Oh, that's not true. I don't know. Double digits. That's not true. If Kelsey is still banged up, if Patty is still banged up.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I picked Cincinnati. I said your scores. I picked Cincinnati to go. I said your scores. But, dog, the Eagles secondary is not great. The D-line is. You're right. They're the best.
Starting point is 00:29:28 No, they're not. No, they're not. The D-line is good. It's the best. No, the D-line is amazing. The best. The best. I like y'all D-line better than that.
Starting point is 00:29:36 No. I'm just telling you. That's my opinion. What I'm saying is this. Patrick Mahomes. Their D-line has the most sacks ever recorded by a D-line. Yeah. In football history it's
Starting point is 00:29:47 better than the best yeah cool I think Patrick Mahomes turns them niggas into Swiss cheese okay score too early no I asked you next week yeah
Starting point is 00:29:58 I asked you next week it's too soon yeah uh speaking of what would you think about the um Empire State Building going up green and white? Yo, I walked out to the balcony. It was disrespectful.
Starting point is 00:30:08 I walked out to my balcony. What'd I say, Corey? I said, yo, the Empire State Building is all green like the Eagles. Ugh. I didn't like it. As a Giants fan, ugh. Disrespect. That's disrespect.
Starting point is 00:30:20 Yeah, that's crazy. As New York, period. Yeah. Yeah, that's crazy. As New York, period. I don't like it because on Black History Month or whenever that was where they were supposed to put the red, the red, black, and the green up there, that shit went up there real late. And I came on this pod talking about it. I was like, yo, they taking a long time to put our red, black, and our green up there. Then they did it.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Don't go put that shit on. They put the green up there before the game was even over. Empire State building this green. And right when I thought I was the only one to start trending. So good. People are upset about this. Take some pride in the city. I get affiliates right there, but let them do that shit to...
Starting point is 00:30:55 Yeah, they should do that shit down there. That shit down there. If you think Philadelphia would have put some blue and red on the Liberty Bell, you actually burnt that shit down. What? It'll fuck the whole city up. Nah. Yo,
Starting point is 00:31:06 New York lost its luster, man. Well, no, now you can just rent out the top of the fucking Empire State Building, whatever you want to,
Starting point is 00:31:13 what you want to see up there. I can rent it one night. Yo, put Pink up there on a Wednesday. That's some bullshit. That's ridiculous, bro.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Well, let's keep it on Super Bowl news. Dre is trying to get down to the Super Bowl. All right. Amber Rose. I mean, not Dre. Why do that to Dre? He's going to be at the Super Bowl news. Dre is trying to get down to the Super Bowl. Amber Rose. Not Dre. Why do that to Dre?
Starting point is 00:31:28 He's going to be at the Super Bowl. Amber Rose is trying to be at the Super Bowl. She's going to be there too? Talking like that? What would she say? Tell Flip what she said. And this was a joke. Of course it was.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I mean, whose ass do I got to eat to get some Super Bowl tickets? And niggas that you would have never expected jumped smack dab in her comments, nigga. Who are niggas I would have never expected? I would have never expected Russell Simmons to be like, me. Oh, shit. Publicly, you crazy. No, you crazy. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Chill out. Call me crazy. The rest of the world says you're crazy. Hold on. That didn, you crazy. No, you crazy. All right. Chill out. Call me crazy. The rest of the world says you're crazy. Hold on. That didn't surprise me. Yo, I said publicly. I would have never thought that, but it's cool. Slow down with the Russell Simmons talk.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Why? What happened? If he said that, we ain't see it. Who's next? Wait, I'm lost. What'd I miss? I ain't see Russell Simmons see that, so I can't confirm. Who's the other person that jumped in here? There's a few people.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Oh, it's a Queens thing? Of course. Queens niggas run, you niggas act. What about Brooklyn niggas? What about them? Shout out to them. We get intel that you really from Brooklyn. Yeah, well, you was born there.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I was born in State New York in a military hospital. But I lived in Brooklyn for my childhood, and then I moved to Queens. What grade? I moved to Queens when I was in, I forgot. No, no, like fourth grade. Fourth grade, I moved to Queens, but I went back to Brooklyn because I got kicked out of the school
Starting point is 00:32:57 across the street from my house, PS36. So I went to a school where they beat me in Brooklyn. Yo, we ain't ask for your whole life book, yo. Stop doing that. Stop doing that. I'm just telling them. Stop doing that. I'm just telling them. Where you went to high school where they beat me in Brooklyn. Yo, we ain't ask for your whole life book, yo. Stop doing that. Stop doing that. I'm just telling them. Stop doing that. I'm just telling them.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Where you went to high school, my nigga? Too much. I went to too many of them. Went to 11 high schools. I went to too much, nigga. When did you hand in your, turn in your flag? What flag?
Starting point is 00:33:18 One on the left. The left one. We are getting intel that you are a retired gang member. That your life started out with you going down the wrong path. Man, listen. And you picked up a flag. Yo, listen, listen.
Starting point is 00:33:37 And you started acting out. And your mama came and pulled your little ass and said, get out of here. It was embarrassing. It was embarrassing. And now you're not a gang member no more. First of all, Shalot, stop. Stop. Stop trying to butcher my story because you want to speed it up in front of millions of
Starting point is 00:33:53 people. No, you don't get to do that. You hear your mother speak, patois? No, my mother's Haitian. Listen, at the end of the day, I was a friend in the union. I did join the Crips. Yes, I was. My father lived over there.
Starting point is 00:34:06 But one day, my mother pulled up on the block and told me to get in the car. Kind of embarrassed me, and I got in the car, and I figured it out. That's it. Shout out to them over there, and I leave it at that. So that was the shortest Crip stint. Is that where you got your name from? What, Queens Flip? No, I told you about that.
Starting point is 00:34:24 No, just Flip, period. Just Flip. No. You flipped out of there quickly. Webb Queens Flip? No, I told you about that. No, just Flip, period. Just Flip. You flipped out of there quickly. Webb gave me that name. I told you this already. I know that's what you told me, but now that I'm learning more. Stop playing with me.
Starting point is 00:34:32 I'm sorry. Damn. Anyway. Gang members. Amber Rose is going to be at that Super Bowl. 100%. Oh, yeah. Even if she playing.
Starting point is 00:34:41 I don't know if she playing, if she serious. I don't know, but she's a friend of the show. I know she gonna get there Niggas love Amber And somebody gonna give it to her Yeah And she won't be there alone Listen the Super Bowl's in Arizona

They're packing their bags. They're in group chats, gathering their girls together.

Starting point is 00:35:22 And just in the pure people that is going to be there. Yeah, if I was a girl, I'm going out there with my little hot ass I didn't get this ass done for nothing yeah I didn't get this uh 360 done in my body for nothing I'm not gonna be messy but I am gonna call Amber to see if you were serious mm-hmm cuz she could have been playing around and if she was then we don't need to waste time on this but if she wasn't then we better get on the phone make some calls try to get on the menu me and my girl would definitely slide in the rooms how about you and your girl i think she might make a provision or two joey hi this is joe button podcast live on air. So I want these niggas up here just saying Amber was looking for tickets, trying to her ass ate i wanted to confirm no i said i was eating she was eating the ass oh well i didn't want these talking about amber want to go eat some ass so i wanted to call and make sure yeah i mean just a little joke little troll joe let me let me just say this i think any logical rational person would know that i'm not eating ass for tickets a lot of girls are eating ass for tickets though that's crazy I'm not eating ass for tickets bro yeah because I think
Starting point is 00:36:52 you can just get some tickets exact I was I was showing the severity of how bad I wanted tickets and I also you know I'm a Phillies fan I'm a South Philly girl. So, like, we're crazy about our Eagles. Like, we'll pretty much be willing to do anything. But it's just not realistic. It was a joke. Although my DMs did go crazy. Well, that's my next question for you. Anybody pop in there, hop in there that you just wouldn't expect to hop in there?

If you can't take a joke, that's me.
Starting point is 00:38:40 That's how I joke. That is definitely true. That's one of my best qualities. Taking a joke. That's one of joke. No, that's true. That is definitely true. You know what I'm saying? It's one of my best qualities. What? Taking a joke. That's one of my best qualities. And I do... Yeah, like, you gotta take a joke, bro.

I'm like, yo, bro, don't call me with that shit. Like, that's ridiculous. I mean, your male friends just know that the niggas are sly that's so i mean you still look good that's all we're saying you know i mean i think most i think most of the guys

Yeah. Oh, it's the following? Super Bowl. Why would it not be the 12th? Oh, it's the following? Super Bowl. Why would it not be the 12th?

You got the automatic purchase. You just come on here and say whatever because people don't know your girl. You want me to call? Please.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Oh. But don't do it like last time and lead the witness. Just ask the question. Don't text her first. Don't do none of that. But enough of you just coming in here saying whatever. That's the one area of his life he's never procrastinated. Flowers is on time
Starting point is 00:45:08 every three times a month. Yeah, plug Luke Orton, nigga, because I'm sick of you. And I would find it hard to believe. You ride with your new dude? I'm not riding with that. I don't care. Personally, even if you do do shit throughout the year, Valentine's Day is...
Starting point is 00:45:22 She wasn't even trying to hear that shit. I could text and to say pick up. I could text and say pick up. I don't have to lie, dog. I don't think you lie. I think you posture. I don't think you lie. That's a lie. If you are purposely posturing or
Starting point is 00:45:38 embellishing, you're lying. So you made this rule when you was broke or you made this rule while you was rich? What? I'm not rich. When did you make this rule when you was broke, or you made this rule while you was rich? What? I'm not rich. I'm just... When did you make this rule? Wait. Why are you not rich?
Starting point is 00:45:49 Oh, shit. Because I don't make enough money to be classified as rich. When we read the list, I came in here and read the list of wealth by age, and if you make a certain amount by this age, then you are considered wealthy by society's standards. And I did not meet that requirement. Wasn't far away.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I don't know what... Nigga, you a hamburger away from being rich, nigga. Look, look, posturing again. Look, you're posturing some more. I don't know what you're talking about. I can't even eat my gum, yo. Nigga about to make me eat gum on camera. Real quick. All jokes aside, seriously speaking,
Starting point is 00:46:18 the things that typically are associated with Valentine's Day, I do them regularly. Got it. Outside of like chocolates and shit, but I do that shit regularly. I think we all do. We all do. But men do that when they want to cheat.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Like they put that little stigmatism and stereotype. That's true. Yo, I celebrate Valentine's all day, but when the new bitch come around, excuse my language, you treat her like a Valentine. Are you up to your old tricks? This nigga fucked the whole room up.
Starting point is 00:46:50 Anybody in the room looking at him like that? No, for real. Are you up to it? I can break it down. Please. And now he's going to win because you gave him a winnable route. Let me know. We got this nigga. Help me out. No, no, no. I got it. Win. I want you to ask your question.
Starting point is 00:47:05 I understand. I'm telling you that usually. Oh, he baited him. I know what he's doing. He's got him against the ropes. He's about to crack his neck. Come on, come on. Why are you doing that, bro?
Starting point is 00:47:17 Usually, there's a trick out there where men that say that I celebrate when they have a girlfriend or a wife, they say that I celebrate when they have a girlfriend or a wife. They say that I don't need to celebrate these holidays because I give it to you all year round. All right, what he's saying is normally the men that talk like you talk like that because they're outside the streets cheating. So they want to overcompensate by treating their wife or girlfriend or partner well all year long. That thought process was kicking his ass. And I don't want him to leave here and go to his little home studio camera and be like, this is what happened. This is what happened with that thought.
Starting point is 00:47:56 This is what I meant. Yo, yo, yo, you a hater, bro. I am. You a hater. Stop watching me, bro. I am a hater. Stop watching me, man. I'm a hater.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Stop watching me. Ish, all of us treat our partner or try to or think we do, treat our partner well the rest of the year. Yes. But they usually want something. Yeah, Valentine's Day is still, that's like saying I'm not getting you a Christmas gift because I get you gifts throughout the year. But now you're going to shit on us
Starting point is 00:48:17 and say, my partner, me and her on the same page. Some people don't celebrate Christmas. Same page what? Some people don't celebrate Christmas. They don't. So some people, that's what they say. That's not, you said it like it's something Asadon is saying. A lot of people don't celebrate Christmas
Starting point is 00:48:31 and they say, yo, the things that I do, I do throughout the 12 months. I don't just OD on that one particular day. So for myself, if a person meets me, we start conversing, you're going to know I don't fuck with Halloween. You're going to know I don't fuck with Valentine's Day. Way before February comes. You're going to know I don't fuck with Halloween. You're going to know I don't fuck with Valentine's Day. Probably way before February comes.
Starting point is 00:48:49 You're going to know that. I mean. Respect. Yeah, that's what worked for you, bro. He got it. Well, luckily for me, we work February 14th. It falls on Tuesday. You can call your little girlfriend that day,
Starting point is 00:49:02 and let's see if she just sound all ring around the rosy. We'll see. What? I'm just not respecting my man girlfriend name, bro. Don't call her little girlfriend. Stop that. I don't like when you talk like that. Everything is little to you because you got money.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Stop. He got money, too. Look at that. Call his girlfriend. Call it. I don't, though. Did anybody get a chance to check out clips from Jadakiss, Cam'ron,
Starting point is 00:49:26 and Mace at the legendary Apollo Theater over the weekend? That shit looked amazing. Yes, it looks dope. That looked like what I expected the crowd to look like.
Starting point is 00:49:33 It did. It did. The only clip I saw was them performing niggas and starting something. That was enough for me. I saw the host and carriage. They said that was
Starting point is 00:49:42 the first time performing it together. You can tell. Cam and really know the words. I don't know if he's doing that on purpose. All them nigg They said that was the first time performing it together. You can tell. Cam didn't really know the words. I don't know if he's doing that on purpose. All them niggas. Cam always got some shit up his sleeve. Why would he do that on purpose?
Starting point is 00:49:50 Because he just always wanted to show you something. Cam didn't know the words, really. I could see him not knowing the words, though. If it's a record, I don't perform. It's 20 years old. Okay. 20. Over 20, right?
Starting point is 00:50:04 Yeah. Oh, yeah. Over 20. Yeah, facts. Shit, damn near. It's almost 25. Yeah. it's 20 years old okay 20 over 20 right yeah oh yeah over 20 yeah facts it's almost 25 yeah damn bro I could not know that record
Starting point is 00:50:11 you wouldn't know that record and you don't know yeah I don't I can't your guns just hand me down you don't know and Cam did a lot of music
Starting point is 00:50:23 he got a group he got I could see Cam not knowing that verse and he got a group he got I could see Cam not knowing that verse and he had a beef with Mase so at one point so I could block that song
Starting point is 00:50:31 out oh you wouldn't do the video that's what the beef was you wouldn't do the video no he wanted to get paid for the video yeah and he should've
Starting point is 00:50:36 but whatever so you block that what respect you should've not from your man no yes from your man see that's that toxic shit
Starting point is 00:50:45 that hip hop teach us that's toxic that's wrong it's not your money yeah we got a budget this is business we got a budget break the budget up
Starting point is 00:50:52 this is business with your people and you need to know that the jobs that you're doing and the things that you're doing there is a value
Starting point is 00:50:58 attached to these things if you never learned that then how are you going to know that so Cam is saying well I'm imagining because I never spoke to them about this cam is saying well I'm imagining because I never spoke to anyone about this cameras and I'm cam is saying I'm coming in under your tutelage like you got brought you got broke first
Starting point is 00:51:12 you went over here you popped off you were supposed to be the commercial aspect I was supposed to be the street aspect why would why explain it I've heard me speak on it before may said that um he was trying to get the label for 15 bands or 20 bands and he was going to bust it in half. With Cam, like, yo, we're going to make them pay for me to be in a video appearance and then I'll bust the money down with you.
Starting point is 00:51:35 I mean, I could see it from Flip's standpoint when you young and you're not really business savvy, that makes sense. Like, yo, you my man, you're supposed to just be in my video on GP. Because it helps. It would have helped Cam at that time.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Mase was hot as fish grease at that time. So that would have helped Cam. I'm hot as fish grease and I gave you a verse. You have a verse. Now go apply pressure to your radio department, to your street team,
Starting point is 00:52:02 and the people that are responsible for your career at this point. I've showed up. And I heard back then the labels was giving money away. don't burn the relationship down because i wouldn't do a video because you feel like and again i'm speaking on this out of turn because i don't know anything about any of that back then but it was great to see them perform horse and carriage together for the first time it was great to see niggas done started something actually performed by all parties involved. Zanz X, rest in peace,
Starting point is 00:52:28 DMX. When I saw that, it made me wish I was there. Niggas done started something. That's what did it for me. Bands from TV. It's a few records that if they're ever performed somewhere, I want to go there and see it.
Starting point is 00:52:39 And as I'm watching niggas done started something, after I see the horse and carriage flip, I'm reminded at just how much mace was the bridge for and it just don't get spoken about don't you know and you got i know his short his run was short with harlem world double up we really don't even count we don't count it was a lot of features the mariah joint it was a lot going on but but we just skipped him introducing us to the locks. Like, introduction.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Niggas done started something. I remember where I was when I heard it. I remember the clue tapes. Mace, these three hard-ass niggas, and X. For Mace to be able to do that and then go do horse and carriage. Bro, he does not the guy's good anywhere near the correct like if you bring mace name up in the rap argument niggas will damn they kick you out the room and start
Starting point is 00:53:31 laughing yeah people don't they you had to really be outside to really understand well no no no you didn't even have to be because i wasn't no you didn't have to be outside bro you just have to really be present in that that's when we start sounding uh like i don't do that 97 98 because again his run was so 25 years ago no i'm saying his run was so short spaces where i'm discussing hip-hop with 22 year olds bro i was i bring the question anytime i discuss hip-hop with somebody i always ask them one question that just kind of gives me the gauge of who i'm talking to and i say yo what's the first rap album that you bought with your own money and that answer will tell me yo majority of people
Starting point is 00:54:11 that i speak to now get rich without trying that's the answer so it's a lot of shit i know you're not gonna understand you're just not gonna feel it or it's hard when they get to talking about some of those monumental albums like get rich without trying and. And you hear them say, yo, I was in the fourth grade when this. It puts you in perspective, bro. It's over. Won't really have nothing to discuss. Yeah. Or I could discuss it.
Starting point is 00:54:32 I just got to know where to put you at. Like now I'm not going to argue with you. But to us, like, you know, when Get Rich or Die Trying came out. I go in spaces today when niggas be calling me a bum. It's the impact, though. Was it impactful back in the days in 98 97 mace mace i'm just saying just tell me yes let me tell you to answer your question this was on fucking fire as impactful as 50 was in 03 yes similar let me tell you why similar similar bro
Starting point is 00:54:57 not close though similar no you're wrong mace um mace had monster hits they started going pop yeah like mace started going pop Like Mase started going pop Like that bad boy shiny suit That shit took hip hop to another Monetary level Like you get what I'm saying like hip hop Niggas wasn't really eating Puffstart doing all that flashy shiny shit
Starting point is 00:55:18 Rolexes and all of that Niggas wasn't really on that wave They was dissing him You were not escaping more money more problems And all the Maze feels was dissing him. You were not escaping More Money, More Problems and All The Maze, Feel So Good, all that shit. You were not escaping that
Starting point is 00:55:29 in that time. That shit might have been on VH1 at the time which did not play hip hop really. That shit was everywhere. Once the Mariah Honey remix came. That pop. He started going pop.
Starting point is 00:55:39 That's the other thing I like seeing too. Say what you want about Maze. I like seeing the three of them up there dressed like those dress cuz that's how each of them dressed like nice put on that leather shit and I'm reminded of the 90s shit but I'm also remember I really love watching people whose catalogs travel generations with them like mace can go anywhere and do a mace set and it is gonna work yeah fact Jeezy just performed in front of a live orchestra
Starting point is 00:56:08 And it was the flyest shit ever all them records sound amazing But in front of all in front of orchestra, of course like cam Kiss I like these novelty Shows that's what versus what I just like it. I do. Me too. I hope to see more of it. You mentioned the Jeezy show. I just want to shout him and coach K out. Cause they finally was able to bury the hatchet.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Coach K came out and introduced him, told the story of like, yo, I gave him his name. He gave me my name. Like for those who didn't know, they had like a little tiff for a minute and it's good. What was the tiff?
Starting point is 00:56:43 I didn't know that. I didn't know. Um, basically it was it was a misunderstandings amongst the two of them when the money started to come in all right so you don't know neither no that's I'm not gonna go in specifics but but just this has been for years so he named him cheesy this has been for years this ain't like just last year had to be this is a long long long time so to see that happen that was that was a long, long, long time.
Starting point is 00:57:05 So to see that happen, that was a pretty big deal. That's dope. I like people squashing beefs, man. Especially in hip hop. Me too. They turned that Apollo stage back to the Apollo stage.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Got the bodega and the big glass case out of there. No, no, no. Drake took the glass case home with him. That was some fly shit. The set designer went off. That glass case with him? That was some fly shit. The set designer went off.
Starting point is 00:57:26 That glass case was hard. That was some fly shit. Little LED lights. Apollo. This nigga love some LEDs, boy. You need to get an ad. You just know how much it costs to put on a good show. Like, for somebody to come
Starting point is 00:57:45 imagine the set, build the set. Build that shit. Yeah, building a bodega inside of the Apollo. That's not cheap. That really didn't look cheap.
Starting point is 00:57:52 The Apollo. That shit didn't look like the world. A lot of y'all might not have been in the Apollo. It's not the biggest. It's not huge. So for them to pull that off,
Starting point is 00:57:59 it was, that shit is dope. That was amazing. It was back looking like the Apollo though. That little tree stump in the corner? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What else?
Starting point is 00:58:08 What else? What else? What else? I'm on music. Wayne announced a tour. It's called Welcome to the Carter. It's going, I believe it's in April. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:18 But it's, he has about, is it 20 to 30 dates? Okay. Ain't bad. Is he doing all the cartos? That's all the information. Tickets ain't even went on sale yet. Okay. So, but, you know.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Finish that Ticketmaster deal. Got to make sure that's closed first. You know how it go. Like you said, what concert's about to be. We're going to start them at 90, right? And then we're going to crack them for like 900. Four minutes later, they'll be. They'll be sold out. Tickets supposed to go on sale Friday. They'll be sold out tickets supposed to go on sell Friday they'll be sold out Elton John
Starting point is 00:58:47 seen that Taylor Swift happening he picked up the phone Elton John's called ticket master immediately I don't like what I'm saying with this young who's this girl fix our contract please didn't they just have a show Elton John and Billy Joel? Elton John has, officially has, the highest grossing tour ever. Wow. Wow. Really? Ever. I'm not surprised.
Starting point is 00:59:11 He got slaps. He does. He got slaps. Some stupid, crazy number. He was just out of local shit. Billions. Right here in Carteret. Some local shit.
Starting point is 00:59:20 Him and Billy Joel. Yeah, MSG. I would have been surprised. No, I'm saying I'm surprised that they was even at a venue that small. Oh. Like some local. Well, Billy Joel is another one. Billy Joel, I think, has a Madison Square Garden.
Starting point is 00:59:32 He sells out residency for like a mug straight or some shit. Yeah, they don't play. Him, Bruce. Yeah, they don't play. I'm going to go on me a little pump it up tour. Pump it up residency? 20 year anniversary. There you go.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Fact so. One song. Thank you, yo. Yo, it's been real. Y'all could have done it without y'all. You bought a VIP package. Y'all performed it twice.
Starting point is 00:59:56 I couldn't. They should have had you on. My bad. That was crazy. My bad. They should have had you on Lovers and Friends. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:00:04 That's right. That festival shit with everyone doing one song. One song. Come out there for a minute. Yeah. Oh, is that what they do? Everybody do a song? I think so.
Starting point is 01:00:12 It got to be. That's one day. It's one day with 200 hours. You think you got the win to get two songs out? What'd you say? You got the win to get two songs out on stage? If you ask me that, you think I can't fight at all. If you ask me that, you think I have no fight.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Hey, man, that's the stage in Vegas. That might be a little different. Yo, you think I can't fight at all. If you ask me that, you think I have no fight. Hey, man, that's the stage in Vegas. That might be a little different. One of these part of the show questions called and asked who we all thought would win a fight in the room, but I meant to jump in and say who would come in second at least and get some opinions. Because, damn,
Starting point is 01:00:40 I can't perform pump it up twice. Even though, listen, I went bowling last night. Little winded. Let your age out. Vern came over to the house two weeks ago. Let me tell you
Starting point is 01:00:50 about your 40s, nigga. I'm about to talk about your 40s now. Vern came over the other day as a fucking full-time dad of three or four. I don't know
Starting point is 01:00:57 how many daughters he got now. But he started talking his golfing shit. All of the retired street dope boy drug dealing niggas, I see them out there golfing shit. All of the retired street dope boy drug dealing niggas, I see them out there
Starting point is 01:01:06 golfing. They escape the game with money saved up and they are on the golf course. Swag. And they talk about it like it's peaceful and serene
Starting point is 01:01:17 and you're out there with the grass and the trees and your mind gets to escape and you're not answering the phone and you network and they make it sound beautiful but you swing that
Starting point is 01:01:24 thingamajiggy enough you're gonna go home and need some epsom salt same for bowling bowling we went out last night league style bowling which is lane lane lane lane lane lane very different from going bowling with your family and your dad and your cousins your little brothers wait what you mean it's hot what's Just more lanes rented? You mean? When my dad went there, they got one little lane,
Starting point is 01:01:49 but it was seven people on the lane. It was hot dogs and burgers and wings and talking and grooving and family time. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:57 When these niggas show up, they bowling. So we bowling. So I played seven games. Oh, shit. My body is falling apart. And when it's lane style like that, that ball coming right back. Yeah, it affects.
Starting point is 01:02:11 Seven people. So you got your own lane? Like, what does that mean? It means two lanes. So you'll have lane 41 and lane 42. OK. When you finish bowling on lane 41, if it's two of y'all, take your dumb ass over to lane 42 and bowl.
Starting point is 01:02:26 You don't get no rest. And when you finish that, go back to 41, league style. Never stop. Oh, shit. Never stop. Versus you go bowl, then you sit down. Then go sit for a half hour. Drink some water, chill out.
Starting point is 01:02:37 No, league style, you never stop. My whole body is aching. It was aching last night. Weird muscles probably, too, like in your back and shit. All that shit with the ball last couple times are using muscles you like my dad comes to my house he's catching the flight he's going to Vegas him and his uh him his wife they're going to Vegas he could want to park the car at the crib he bring the bell 730 in the

Starting point is 01:03:46 my dad, my dad, might spill some shit over there. What else? What else? What else? What else? COVID is over in May.

Starting point is 01:04:25 Not just the Target ones. Vicky, LaPerla, watch them shits. Somebody hands them. Sheets too. Sheets and towels too. Yo, now I like pink. They just throw them shits
Starting point is 01:04:34 right back down. Yeah, one of them niggas was bleeding. Oh, man. They touching all the Target. I say Target because in Target, you see them.
Starting point is 01:04:43 It's a herd that come right there, touch all the drawers, and then put them back. Nigga, you never been to Vicky's Secret with your girl? Well, no. Tell us. That's what I'm talking about. We got who we talking to. The Vicky's Secret with a white girl.

I've seen it. That shit look like. You be in there, they be, babe, let me get a, let me get the gray. Let me get you.

Starting point is 01:05:21 But wait, my boxers don't be laying in a pull-out drawer. True. That's a fact. They be in plastic. They be in a plastic. That's a fact. Sealed up. Straight off the belt.
Starting point is 01:05:30 That's a fact. He got to take the tape off him still and shit. If my shit is just laying in the drawer and a bunch of niggas is coming over there touching my shit, then I'm washing. But I wash my towels. Yeah. Sheets. Sheets.
Starting point is 01:05:39 Definitely sheets. I don't wash sheets. I do that anyway. My sheets come in plastic, though. It's just something about sheets. I wash them. I wash them. I wash my sheets in four months and shit. Who said that?
Starting point is 01:05:46 Yo, stop it. Yo, dog. Why does that have to be a topic that was brought up? The fuck? Ooh, can I ask y'all a question? Because I don't want it to seem like I'm just coming at the girls about not washing their drawers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Tell me the one thing. Tell me something that your girl thinks. Let me see how I can word this before y'all start getting all machismo on me give me something that your partner thinks is some sucker shit about you but they won't tell you like when they hit the group chat some sucker shit that you do like my girl sent me a little meme floating around the internet and y'all fried me up about this too but fuck y'all it'd be cold in my house where the niggas running around with a t-shirt on and no drawers but if you home
Starting point is 01:06:28 but if you home but if you home I understand that you can't defend it but your girl sees you in all moments that's the thing vulnerable macho your girl seen that shit.
Starting point is 01:06:46 So she sent me that shit, so I think it's cute when you're throwing a little t-shirt, dick dangling around. I'm like, yo, I'll punch you. You better watch your fucking mouth. But then I thought about, like, oh, shit, I've been doing that shit, and she's been looking at me like, oh, this fucking ass nigga. Let me ask my co-host
Starting point is 01:07:01 what they got going on that they girl might hit the group chat and say, yeah, this nigga over here picking his nostrils again. That's a tough question, man. So you the t-shirt band? My girl would catch me like that. Nobody else would catch me like that. For our sake, I would hope not. Yeah, you're bugging.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Yeah. I know it sounds stupid when would hope not, nigga. For our sake, I would hope not, man. Yeah, you bugging. Yeah. I know it sounds stupid when you saying it to other people. It's not like a normal thing I do. I'm saying my, anytime it's happened,
Starting point is 01:07:33 my girl was there to see it. If it's more than once or twice as normal, that's your deal, bro. As you walking around your house with nobody there, with a tank top
Starting point is 01:07:40 or a t-shirt on and no drawers. That's normal. What does that say about me? You're a serial killer, bro. Yeah. You eat cereal with a fork. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:07:54 When you came in the air. Fuck out of true blood ass niggas. Yeah, that's some other shit. Yo, black man boy. Yeah, bro. That might be universal. Why are you doing that, though, bro? Yeah, you got.
Starting point is 01:08:07 What if the cleaner come and see this shit? You got basketball shorts. Yeah. You're from Jersey City. You're not from Montana. I feel weird even explaining this to y'all, but since y'all want to take it here, I have to defend myself,
Starting point is 01:08:19 because if I let y'all take charge of the narrative, people in the comments are going to roast me up. They're going to do it anyway. Let me try to get some of them back on my side. I'm... Let me not call myself that. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:08:31 I was about to say, I'm Mr. Butt-Ass, all right? Take the tank top off. Slow down. Take the T-shirt off. Let me land. You keep trying to play me. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:08:42 I'm saying, you can walk around butt naked. I'm a violinist. Chill out, chill out. You keep trying to play me. I'm not. I'm saying you can walk around butt naked. I'm a violinist. Chill out. Chill out. You disagree? You disagree? What?
Starting point is 01:08:49 I ain't finished my point yet. Let my man get his shit on. Go ahead. I get in the house and get butt ass. Hey, yo. Why the TikTok? Yo, why do men? You can't say nothing around me.
Starting point is 01:09:01 No, but you just keep. I live alone. Let me talk so we can go ahead. I get butt-assing out. I also have a balcony door that I'll open. My body temperature, sometimes I put the room at 77. I'm sorry. Sometimes I put this shit at 70.
Starting point is 01:09:19 I really need to let him know. Let him know. So if I get butt-ass, sometimes I'll leave the balcony door. Your chest be hot? I'll leave the balcony. Your chest be hot? All right, go ahead. Your chest be cold?
Starting point is 01:09:28 Your chest be cold? Go ahead. Let my man get his shit on. I got warm bottoms under the equator. There's something called a chest cold. It's not called a leg cold, you bitch ass nigga. Yes, don't try to shame me for getting a chest cold. Hey, yo, stop king shaming my man.
Starting point is 01:09:40 And the audience can't understand what you're saying, Toothless Tommy. I'm putting fix with my balls. Yo, can you stop covering your mouth like this. Yo, fam. You still ain't let me finish. Go ahead, dog. So if I leave the balcony door open, where it's cold and chilly, it's a breeze coming through. And I'm under the blanket, because I'm butt-ass.
Starting point is 01:09:58 I get under my blanket. And then my torso be cold. So I reach over. I grab the little t-shirt. And I put my t-shirt on. I thought you were going to say you go, when you poo on the balcony. And now I'm home with a t-shirt on with no drawers on.
Starting point is 01:10:14 It still sound shady? Yes. It's clear violence. All right, well, you niggas answered the question. How about that? Y'all turn now. Y'all turn. Go around the room.
Starting point is 01:10:22 I did. All right, y'all turn. Who up? Exactly. I think she'll get on the way I dry off when I got out of the shower, y'all. I do. Uh-oh. You do this, that's fully clean?
Starting point is 01:10:35 Uh-oh. You know. We got one. We got one, y'all. Yo, dog, talk, nigga. I don't know what you're doing. Talk. Use your words.
Starting point is 01:10:41 This is an audio podcast. But you floss? It's video too. Let him hear what you say. The video will come out later. Wait, let's hear him. You know, it's a little funny. She might be like, look at this nigga, yo.
Starting point is 01:10:50 You still not telling us the action. I'm telling you that I'm fine. He flosses with a towel, nigga. He's showing you. I don't know what flossing means. You take the towel. Hey, yo. I wish y'all know how to enunciate.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Nigga, sometimes you got to take the towel. People are listening to this. He flossed a towel. He takes a towel like a floss. Niggas, sometimes you gotta take your towel. He flossed a towel. He takes a towel like a floss. So, yo, when you floss, what you stand like? You bow like this? Yo, go ahead, dog. Yo. Yo, I don't think he can laugh at my shit.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Yes, I can. No, you can. Yes, I can, son. Yes, I can. I can laugh. Yo, that's wild shit. You flossed a towel? That's flagrant. Hey, yo. How you. Yes, I can. I'll go there. Yo, that's wow shit. You floss the towel? That's flagrant.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Hey, yo, you do. How you dry your legs? You floss the, you pick your leg up? I put the leg on the chair. Oh, no, no, no. No, I snap my leg on the tub, yo. You put your leg up to dry your leg with a towel? He puts his leg on the tub and starve.
Starting point is 01:11:42 Hey. Oh, shit. He got a vagina. Oh, shit. He got a vagina. Oh, shit. He got a vagina. So he just got a, you know. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Wait, front and back? Like, how you do the front? I'm right enough, man. I'm asking him, because he was laughing too hard. You do the front? No, I do the back. And then, you know. Come on, baby.
Starting point is 01:12:01 Let's do the twist. Let's do the twist. Come on, baby. Yeah, baby. Let's do the twist. Come on, baby. No. Nah. All right, now y'all answer, goddammit.
Starting point is 01:12:12 If I was your girl, I would be judging my, yo, you think of this bitch ass nigga trying off with the hell. I used to put my shit in front of the AC when I had like a window AC. Wait, wait, before you finish, before you finish, before you finish. Where's the towel? What do you mean? When you get in your shower, where's the towel?
Starting point is 01:12:30 On the towel hanger. Where is the towel hanger? On the wall, right outside the towel. I'm right outside the shower. Oh, slow down, buddy. Oh, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:12:42 We ain't staying here for two seconds. Talk to me. What's up? Tell the audience the design of your bathroom and how far is the walk to the towel rack. No, no, no. It's no walk. I can grab it from right there.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Oh, boy. You better. Oh, no. Stop playing with me, yo. Boy. Stop playing with me, dog. No. It ain't none of that.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Hey. All right, Barks. I think he lying too But go ahead He definitely walked To the town Butt ass My shit right there, man
Starting point is 01:13:09 Shimmy and over I used to put my shit In front of the AC When I got out Got out the shower Get a nice dry Cool dry air Put what in front of the AC?
Starting point is 01:13:17 On the balls My balls My shit Yo, white people, yo Yo, what's happening? Get that crisp dry air Oh my God. Nah, Paul.
Starting point is 01:13:26 A window AC? Yeah. Well, I used to have a window AC. I don't have window ACs Yo, you stand in front of that cold ass window AC with your dick?
Starting point is 01:13:35 Yeah. Oh yeah, you a wild boy. You a Viking. You are a Viking. Yo, don't you just be freezing? Yeah, that's the point. Yo, see this one. I'm glad I asked.
Starting point is 01:13:44 So far, I don't think that Ice and Parks can talk to me about mine. Fam, we all walking around. He put his balls on the fucking Freon. He put his balls on 150 watts. I don't want to talk to him. Oh, shit. Yeah, nah. All right, all right.
Starting point is 01:14:01 We good, man. What's up? What's up, one of y'all? Take us to the next level. Nah. Come on, we out of here. Mine's a simple. My guy. all right. We good, man. What's up? What's up, one of y'all? Take us to the next level. Nah. Come on, we out of here. Mines is simple. Look ahead.
Starting point is 01:14:08 I'm trying to think of something. Go ahead. Go ahead and flip your simple. What up? Nah, my wife don't. I take a shower in the dark. So she think that. Yo, chill.
Starting point is 01:14:20 Nah. Yo. Yo! Shut up! Shut up! You don't like seeing yourself like that or something? I think you can't see that meat over that nigga's stomach. Hey, yo, what? Yo, do y'all know people are listening to this?
Starting point is 01:14:38 Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Shower the dog. CBN, man. Where would you be without the JVP? Flip, you take a shower in the dark. Facts.
Starting point is 01:14:48 No. That was wrong, too. You can't say that, man. I can't ask you if that's... No. That led him to shower in the dark. With the light on. I think I think clearer when it's dark.
Starting point is 01:15:03 Think clearer? There's a shower. Not to think. The shower's dark. I think... Think clear of your... There's a shower, not to think. No. The shower's warm. No, the price of light bulbs, boy, I tell you. They getting high.
Starting point is 01:15:11 You think eggs is bad. L.E.D.'s. Not for real. All right, so you take a shower and it's dark. And the dog, she think it's crazy. She hate that shit. Nah, it's a little crazy.
Starting point is 01:15:19 That is a little... It is. Try to take a shower when the dog can watch. No. Your vision will be clear. Nah, my shower's big enough. No.
Starting point is 01:15:25 You know what's funny about that? Well, not really funny. It's really paranoid and sick, and it's a trauma I'm about to share. But I'm much closer to showering with a gun in the shower than I am to showering in the Nigga, I shower in the dark everywhere. Nigga, hotels, all that. How you get the towel? Nigga, I'm going to have to drop on you if he want that ass, that Caribbean ass.
Starting point is 01:15:43 Yo, yo. Yo. Anybody out there? Don't say that. Don't say that. Don Yo, yo. Yo. Anybody out there? Don't say that. Don't say that. Don't say that. If you do that, we'll violate you.
Starting point is 01:15:51 Yo. Don't cross that line. Hey, yo, fam, how you get to the towel on the table? Towels be there. Chill out, man. How do you know
Starting point is 01:15:57 you're not washing your body with conditioner? How do you know if that's the counter you bumped into? How do you know that's the shampoo? What if that's something else you bumped into? Like an erection's the shampoo? What if that's something else you bumped into?
Starting point is 01:16:06 Like an erection. I'm going to keep it real. You got, yo, what the fuck you doing, bro? What if there's a nigga erect in your bathroom waiting for you to get out? Tell your man stop. Talking about, hey, you flip, right? Me too.
Starting point is 01:16:18 Hey, I'm flip too. Flip it over, buddy. Yo, turn the lights on in your bathroom. He doing it again. Turn the lights on in your bathroom. No, I'm good. Turn the lights on in your bathroom. He doing it again. Turn the lights on in your bathroom. No, I'm good. Turn the lights on. No problem.
Starting point is 01:16:27 And she hate when I use four towels to dry off. She don't like that. She say I wasted towels. This is one of my favorite questions in the history of the Joe Buds Podcast. Why do you use four towels? I got the two towels there, and then I just go get new towels. I just like to dry off, and she hates it. I use two towels, though. I use two like to dry off, and she hates it. I use two towels, though.
Starting point is 01:16:46 I use two towels to dry off, but I get more. Every time I take a shower, I'm getting more towels. Well, you still owe us an actual answer, and then we'll get to your two towels. I use two towels. He got something. He just don't know if he wants one of those. Come on, though. My girl thinks it's the nastiest shit in the world.
Starting point is 01:17:05 I eat my toenails. Oh, hell no. All right, hold on. Oh, hell no. Yo, you're the North Boy Carter. Maybe that. Maybe that. I can't wait.
Starting point is 01:17:15 He loves feet a lot more. Nigga wanna eat his own feet. I can't wait till Mel gets back. Oh, man. You eat your toenails, Lord? But what you mean? Like, what you mean? Like, you put your foot in your mouth and actually eat?
Starting point is 01:17:28 You mean eat? I got my foot here. I'm just asking. I don't know. You know you break your joints off if you snap your joints off. No. I get the pedicures. Me too, nigga.
Starting point is 01:17:37 So you tell her, wait, don't toss those? I'm saying it depends. Like, I don't give a shit. Yo, hold on. Say it, though. Let me get those. Let me get a doggy bag. Yo! Oh! Say it! Say it! Yo, bag them up for me. Let me get those. Let me get a doggy bag.
Starting point is 01:17:48 Yo! Save them for me. Yo, like, you know. Like niggas saving their dreads when they get them cut. Yo, give me my toenail shavings, please. Yo. I'm taking them home. Nah, you just, you home watch the TV.
Starting point is 01:18:03 I want some lazy shit. You just sitting there. People are listening. Ripping your joints off. You know you'll rip your toenails off. All right. Want some lazy shit. You just sitting there. People are listening. Ripping your joints off. You know you'll rip your toenails off. So you got the toenail clipper. Yeah. Or if you just rip them by hand sometimes. What?
Starting point is 01:18:13 Yo, you're a monster. You're a warlock, bro. Yo, you are a barbarian. You're ripping toes? Oh, shit. Yo, I never even thought to rip my toenail. Niggas never took their toenail off by hand. By hand?
Starting point is 01:18:28 No. That's not even the worst part of the... All right, you did that. You never did that. No. All right, you ripped it off like He-Man. Then you smelled it. You definitely smelled it.
Starting point is 01:18:40 And you ate it? Or just chewed it? Chew it. You chew it. Oh, so you don't swallow it so i was running around the house trying to get a kiss let's work let's walk through this so what happened after you chew you spit it back out yeah you'll spit it out after you chew it up but my girl you run around chasing my girl wait and wait hold on flip flip them. No way. You never ate your fingernails?
Starting point is 01:19:05 You don't swallow them? You chew it to little bits, nigga. And you spit it out. You spit it out. So you're spitting around your house with COVID? Like, you just put two in your mouth. COVID's almost over. COVID's almost over.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Yeah, we got a couple more months. No more COVID. Two more months. You're spitting around your house? Say COVID expired. Are you spitting around your house? Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Yo, I'm never coming in. You bite into pieces. I did that before. You eat your boogers too, man? When I was little, for sure. That's the, I'm never coming. You bite into pieces. I did that before. You eat your boogers too, man? When I was little, for sure. That's the other thing my girl think. I can't wait till I get on the phone work because I ain't got to sneak and dig up my nose.
Starting point is 01:19:34 Yeah, you'll dig up your nose. I love digging up my nose. Yeah, you do that shit in the public. I love that. It's a thing for me. That's crazy. I've seen it. You do a lot of shit.
Starting point is 01:19:42 You beat some shit up, dude. You do a lot of shit in public. You need to stop doing it. Wait, like what else? Digging your nose, passing gas in public for the niggas. You will pass gas. Wait, what you wait? Wait, hold on. You're not supposed to pass gas in public? No, nigga. You're supposed to walk to the bathroom. Exactly. The bathroom? To fart? That's all niggas around here. Exactly. Oh, no, no. Amongst the niggas, I let it go. But in a public setting You're supposed to
Starting point is 01:20:06 Excuse yourself Exactly Go to the bathroom I be putting heat on Mel Right here I be farting on Mel's leg No I be rocking his couch too Yeah I be fucking his couch up
Starting point is 01:20:14 Yeah but she a girl And I be doing that shit Yeah you wildin' You wildin' She be smelling good I be like Lift up a little bit You hit the toot up
Starting point is 01:20:21 Yo that's crazy We are savage And the nigga try to act like He's doing something when he do it. Oh, my God. Ugh. I think you still might win. You shower in the dark. I do.
Starting point is 01:20:32 You eat your toenails and tear them off by hand like Conan. It takes the cake. Like cuticle Conan. It's cuticle Conan. Cuticle Conan. Cuticle Conan. There's our title, by the way. Word. Word.
Starting point is 01:20:49 Fucking bums. That's definitely it. What ice do? Dental floss to towels. And what parks do again? AC. Balls on the AC. Put his balls on the AC.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Yeah. And somehow we all still found love. God bless him. Love wins man This nigga walk around COVID over in May Man yo you be having The long t-shirts too
Starting point is 01:21:10 Your joints be Alright chill out bro Yo mind your business man Come on South Korea You about that He do So he be naked with long t-shirts Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:25 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:29 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:33 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:37 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you probably be dancing one, two. You put the towel between your ass cheeks. That's what he said.
Starting point is 01:21:49 I just floss with the towel, man. I just want to make sure I'm all dry. No, fam, do you not understand? You can't stand straight up and floss. You got cocky. You be squatting over, y'all, looking like a fucker. Nah, stop. Wait, you do that. I don't understand how you dry like that. You got to cock. You be squatting over, y'all, looking like a fucker. Nah, stop. Wait, you do that.
Starting point is 01:22:06 I don't understand how you dry like that. You got to cock your leg up. It's impossible. Nah, you just put one, you know. One what? How you dry your ball. You do that to your balls. That's brush burning.
Starting point is 01:22:15 That nigga said he put one leg up. Yeah, you're going to burn yourself. That too. Oh, that's why his name Ice. Oh, shit. Nigga got some icy hot on his balls. Yeah, that shit be feeling. If it get hot enough. That icy hot. Nigga. Oh, man. Nigga got some icy hot on his balls. Yeah, that shit be feeling. It be getting hot enough.
Starting point is 01:22:25 That icy hot. Big kill. Nuts. Oh, man. Yo. Y'all need to stop this, though. Something wrong with y'all. All right, what else is going on, man?
Starting point is 01:22:33 I'm never asking y'all anymore. Y'all want to talk about this new Bobby Shmurda song? Pull it up and play it. I don't have that shit, because I'm never having that shit. Y'all talk. I get it. Time is. Bobby Shmurda put out a record.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Okay. I don't think it's a very good record, but I want to support and respect him. But coming out of jail, you know he had a lot of attention on him for standing tall and not snitching. It's a lot of pressure. He had a lot of attention on him
Starting point is 01:22:59 because he was hot as fish grease when he went in. And not just him. Rowdy. It was a movement building. He went in. It looks like the record label kind of severed ties. Seemingly not one much to do with him. He came out, announced his independence.
Starting point is 01:23:18 And it looks like he's been in search of some of that same dominance that was going on before he went in. But when you're independent, it looks a little different and it goes a little different. Anybody will tell you it cost $250,000 at least to try to break a record doing these things independent. He's just thrown a couple records out there with some features here and there.
Starting point is 01:23:38 And he's had a hard time. He's had a hard time catching traction for some of these records. I want to ask y'all why y'all think this is i want to play a little bit of this record to see if he's even in the right direction but since he got out i mean the public don't know but i've been behind the scenes saying all right watching like you're running out of your time. You're running out of your, hey, we happy for you. We championing you.
Starting point is 01:24:09 We ready to support you time. And it's getting into, can he deliver again? I haven't heard this record, but the records I heard before, and I said that in his pocket, they were low. It sounded like he ain't really good at Mixed and Mastered. Them shits were low. And that type of music needs to be loud. I thought it looked like he was going for it
Starting point is 01:24:27 with that Quavo record that he dropped, the video that he dropped. And by going for it, I mean him and his whole team has decided that this is the record we're going to get behind. But this record here, play this record, Ice. First nigga known as your friend. Took a plea deal, left the streets real, but left a dog in that pin, n***a That pain don't ever end
Starting point is 01:24:49 Why they play back in that courtroom Keep playin' back in his head, n***a What all y'all n***as say What all y'all n***as did What all y'all n***as, yeah, yeah, yeah Snitch Man, all y'all n***as bitch Man, all y'all n***as licks Man, all y'all n***as bitch Man, all y'all niggas licks Man, all y'all niggas swish, yeah, yeah It's lit Man, fuck all y'all rap niggas Most of y'all some rap niggas All y'all chit-chat niggas Oh, yeah Shoot a nigga with no mask, nigga All my niggas done clapped, niggas
Starting point is 01:25:17 All my niggas is just trapped, niggas Oh, yeah Told Z to fumble that pack Got Gina runnin' that beat I told him keep runnin' that back, yeah, yeah, so see the fumble that bad got Gina running that beat up on it. Don't keep running that bad. Yeah Yeah, yeah Gotta keep running this fish. Keep up this cash my try keep up with your ass What do you think I Like where it started and then it didn't keep there for me It's not like you just gotta talk about his story, which I'm always here for.
Starting point is 01:25:47 I didn't get that from the way it started. The first couple bars? First couple bars sounded like he was speaking on, which everybody interpreted, Gunna. In that situation. What I looked at from Bobby's music, post-release, because he came out and said,
Starting point is 01:26:04 he wasn't on none of that that he was on before. I want to party. I want to, you know, he was speaking investments, speaking just, I'm away from all the street shit.
Starting point is 01:26:15 And he tried to reflect it in the music and it just didn't click. And it seems like, excuse me, it seems like, I don't know if it's the labels or whoever at the time was like hey dog we we signed you for this you don't want to do this we ain't supporting that so you had to kind of try to figure it out on your own shoot him a bang bang shit so he told shoot him a bang bang shit he's still selling yeah that's my point he talked about killing me and all that
Starting point is 01:26:45 yeah but you don't want to do that he came home and said I'm not on that anymore I don't want to do any of that I'm making party music you know
Starting point is 01:26:51 Jamaican roots dancing all that shit and they like yo dawg that's not what we we don't care about that they need to get
Starting point is 01:26:57 Booz on the record between these but y'all know the music business more than me what you just said makes sense to me like yo
Starting point is 01:27:06 if you thought the Quavo record was the one that mean you gonna put your resources behind that record and if it don't work nigga you got limited resources but what if you don't have the resources to put behind
Starting point is 01:27:17 that record no I'm saying that whatever you got that's what I said if you put what you had behind that Quavo record and it don't catch you ain't got
Starting point is 01:27:25 the resources to keep going back to the well now the next one that you think has potential it suffers a bit because you don't have the same resources
Starting point is 01:27:33 if you have a major and even the major will slow you down like alright dog how many times you think we gonna do this we not but if you had a major
Starting point is 01:27:41 and they believe in you they'll front it but even that they would've got the producer. They would have got your shit mixed right. They would have did all of that shit. So they would have thought it was a hit. They wouldn't let you put out some shit you think is a hit.
Starting point is 01:27:54 No, we collectively got to think that this is a hit. I don't see this record playing any part in his plan to get anywhere near back where he was. I'm going to say. Well, the beginning sounds nice. It could be the intro. And do what? It sounded okay. It started off.
Starting point is 01:28:13 You'll hear that song in the club? Yeah. No. Never. I would. Or you won't hear it on the radio either? Well, you don't go to the club anymore. You can go to the club.
Starting point is 01:28:22 What I looked at from Bobby's music, and this is not a slight to him or anyone else, but he ain't never really had no records like that. Hot Nigga was one that caught organically. You caught one. Not necessarily. If you go back and listen to it, it's not a good song. If you really listen to it, it's just a bunch of names. But at the time, it worked.
Starting point is 01:28:43 Even from that moment, Rowdy was the star. Rowdy's records, mixtape records, Rowdy was the one moving records. His project was amazing, too. Even his album, yeah. Even Rebel vs. Rowdy album was amazing. So it seemed like you, even from then, been trying to catch one. Or not catch one, because you came out the gate with one and it's like the the bobby b record it started to bubble but after that and of course that's when
Starting point is 01:29:16 the uh the situation happened i don't really see where he that That's true. So what's the hard truth? What's the hard pill to swallow? That it's over? Is it over? Yes. That's the hard truth. Yes. The hard truth is that it's over. So where does he go from here?
Starting point is 01:29:31 And when I say it's over, I mean public perception is over. I don't mean that he will no longer be able to make money from his product. Not that. Over as in you doing shows in some of them a b c d markets away and they all know in your record because they're labeled and spent a million dollars for them to know your record those days over those days over it probably behooves him to almost be in just in support of rowdy now that's's going to hurt to say. But that might be the plan for a little bit.
Starting point is 01:30:08 Or to come out with an album with him and Rowdy to get yourself back hot. There's nothing wrong with that, by the way. At all. Nah. Let me play a slightly different role here.
Starting point is 01:30:16 Yeah. It just requires taking ego out. I could be robbing you. I don't got to be bad, man. Yeah. I don't see that dude. Yeah, Rowdy definitely has some shit on his project. Yeah, no don't see that, too. Yeah, Rowdy definitely has some shit on his project.
Starting point is 01:30:25 Yeah, no question. And got more shit. But again, from when they first started. That is true. It was clear. I think the label saw it. Oh, this one. That's why music, yo, and not for me to start going on some,
Starting point is 01:30:41 oh, woe is, woe are the musicians, because that's not what I'm here to do. But again, fans and just people that don't make music don't put enough stock in how difficult it is to make a record,
Starting point is 01:30:56 like another record. If you get a record that works and now the fans is on your dick and now you get another record that works and your fan base is growing
Starting point is 01:31:04 and now you're stuck. I can and your fan base is growing and now you're stuck i can't think of what the next record is or what the next hook is that the fans will sing or what's the next sound that's hot to beat the producer you can't you just stuck there i think that's a fear that lives in the back of every artist's mind like what happens when you can't make or you're not creative enough to think of the dope sound that's going to take over the globe like you did six months ago and also much more last year in his case it might require taking a little bit of a left musically like you were known for having an up-tempo party hit but then the shit that really worked for you was making shit that
Starting point is 01:31:42 you like which is more dark introspective shit well he tried even with this yachty shit that really worked for you was making shit that you like, which is more dark, introspective shit. Well, he tried that. Even with this Yachty shit that just came out that I've been talking about. Somebody said that. Huh? My party at work, too. Yeah, no doubt. But he just tried that, though.
Starting point is 01:31:53 What? I'm talking about Bobby. He tried it. He went left and made the music that, hey, this is what I really want to make. I want to make this party records that I could dance to and shit. This is what I want to do. Oh, I don't think I heard that. No, I don't think he wanted to make that. I think he. I don't think I heard that. I don't think he wanted
Starting point is 01:32:05 to make that. I think he just wanted to make it to the look. You don't think he wanted to make that? No, I don't think he really wanted to make it. I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:32:13 And you know what else they sleep on in music too and we could get off of this soon because we should get off of it soon. But we sleep on how important it is
Starting point is 01:32:21 for your brand and your music to match somewhat. Bobby Bobby came out right there and the song was rocking the movement was rocking it looked away we throw our hats in the air we in front of projects my niggas is behind me y'all know what we do and now when parole comes and probation comes and you just have to modify your lifestyle a bit it gets tougher to it gets tougher to have that energy it's true in your music and if you don't have that energy in your music and that's what we know you for and that's what you were selling now the cat got to learn a new trick
Starting point is 01:32:55 that's true so now you come on here tomorrow you niggas bitch got guns got body got a lot well now in 2022 we're not in 2014 no more. Now NBA Youngboy's going to have something to say. Now Dirk's going to have something to say. And I'm not just naming people right now, but the new modified version of what you were selling is going to have something to say. I hope he gets it together. I fuck with Bobby.
Starting point is 01:33:19 I fuck with Rowdy. I fuck with all of them over there. Yeah, I fuck with them. And, I mean, he's just getting the music thing started, and this is part of it, like figuring out the hardships. It's crazy. Music shit's scary. They can have it.
Starting point is 01:33:32 Let's keep it on music. Grammy's coming. Parks is Grammy nominated. Yes, hello. Yeah, man. And we're going to ask the question that we ask every year around this time. Do the Grammys matter? Who do they matter to?
Starting point is 01:33:47 And why do they matter? Shortly, I'm going to call my girl Shirley over at Variety, who is a friend of the show. We cover Variety shit all the time here. But I think it's nice to get that Variety version of whatever the answer is to that versus the pod, like kind of real. Barbershop version. Yeah, version of whatever the answer is to that versus the pod, like kind of real. Barbershop version. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Version of that. We can start with Parks because you are Grammy nominated. They matter. Thank you. Thank you. I think they definitely matter. They matter. It's,
Starting point is 01:34:19 it's, it's nice to be recognized by your peers in one way or another. And the Grammys are voted on for the most part, if not entirely by former Grammy nominees and winners. So those are your peers, even if they may be in different genres, some of that stuff, they probably need to fine tune or whatever,
Starting point is 01:34:33 but yeah, you, you like, you like that recognition. Is that it? Yeah. I think the Grammys do matter to your question. Who do they matter to?
Starting point is 01:34:43 I believe it's a business game over there. is this is the labels game although as of late they've been trying to show that they've been trying to get it right on the hip hop side a little bit but I still think it's a label game I think it's a who's spending money game. And that's what matters to the labels that are playing them games. They want to see their artists win. I think there's deals made on, Hey,
Starting point is 01:35:13 you perform or you do this, you do this. We work with you here. And to the artists, it matters because Hey, being able to say Grammy nominated or Grammy award winning and put that in front of your name changes your price changes things in your career so it gives you something to go to press with yeah and promote whatever you're currently promoting or about to promote i think it matters and i think it doesn't i think it matters um for all the reasons
Starting point is 01:35:38 that they said but i think when you really start getting into your real artistry you could give a fuck if they nominate you or not. Because we've seen the inconsistencies. And like y'all just said, it's a money game. So is it really valid if it's a money game? Like if my label paid for me to be nominated or my label paid for me to win, when y'all put out better projects than me, then really doesn't it take away from some of the cachet i do think there is also i think some people intentionally make music to be grammy friendly and some people could give a fuck like rare there's a lot of like until what was that the pandemic year when like
Starting point is 01:36:17 royce and alchemist and naz and people like that were nominated i feel like macklemore's project that won all those Grammys, that was like a Grammy baby. You know, we're talking about Love Your Gay Aunt and you don't have to spend a million dollars on clothes
Starting point is 01:36:33 and it sounds nice and it's fun. Like there's, people make music intentionally to win Grammys. I've seen it happen before. Flip? I don't watch it.
Starting point is 01:36:42 You don't watch award shows period or the Grammys specifically? I don't watch the Grammys. I award shows, period, or the Grammys specifically? I don't watch the Grammys. I don't know anything about it. Is that a boycott that you're doing, or you just happen to? I'm not interested. I'm not interested. Got it.
Starting point is 01:36:54 Got it, got it, got it. I'm with Ish. I mean, I think we've answered this. We've answered this a million times. It matters, and it don't matter. It don't matter to me at all. I'm going to watch it now because my man Parks. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 01:37:10 Yeah, that's the type of that's time matters to parks it matters to the people that it should matter to outside of that like if you're if your price if it don't change your price if it don't change your work if it don't change your cache then no it doesn't matter now for the fans it matters because of programming right of course yeah so hey watch these awards so we can tell you who you should think the best performers are for me y'all can't play with me like that y'all can't i have mad barriers set up in my brain to fight against y'all trying to program me. So it don't do nothing for me on that front. But when did it stop mattering?
Starting point is 01:37:49 Because at a point when I was younger and stuff, like a lot of rappers and artists wanted to win Grammys. When I was young, it mattered to me. Well, and let me not say young. I'm only speaking for myself. Okay. Actually, Ice came in and I had all the Hebrew art up there. Right? And he was like, yo, when you like something, you like it, boy.
Starting point is 01:38:10 He said, yo, when you start getting into art? I said, I've always been into art. He said, yeah, but recently it just seemed like. And I was like, well, I take it back. I've always been into art, but I never understood the business of art. He said, oh, you've been into art? No way. I said, well, I always had a footprints picture
Starting point is 01:38:28 in my house that was artsy. I always had the good times black people doing the dance in my house. That was artsy. We had the big ass bamboo chair in my house. Same. Hey, and when that one broke, somehow we got one that swung.
Starting point is 01:38:44 Some new shit came out, but it was artsy, right? So you grow up and you get more educated and you learn about the business of art. We have these artsy Patreon museum dudes come by here. The InvestFest niggas start talking about tax breaks. Jay-Z started talking about art appreciating, cars depreciating. You learn these things, right? So now you get to the Grammys. At 21 years old,
Starting point is 01:39:06 when I was nominated for a Grammy, I was super excited. My mom came with me. I bought a blazer, thought I was killing it. I was broke. Had blazer and a jean, some striped little shirt.
Starting point is 01:39:16 We thought we was killing it. I was nominated with 50 Cent, Ja Rule, Eminem, and Jay-Z. That's what was going on back then. I knew I wasn't winning but I'm nominated I want to be here so y'all can see my face when it's camera fan pan by me
Starting point is 01:39:31 ow right I got there I learned that this was a pre-TV pre-TV category it wasn't on and you lost before you even get your ticket to your seat, you lost.
Starting point is 01:39:47 But Q Blazer. So then I still went to the Grammys and I sat there for the whole debacle and I was like, I'll never do this again. I will never come back here.
Starting point is 01:39:57 This is a lot of commercials, a lot of ad money. Then throughout my career, I learned about the ad money and just how it works. And with a better understanding and where I was going in my career with Independence, the ad money and just how it works and with a better understanding and where I was going in my career
Starting point is 01:40:06 with independents I was out of the Grammy Yeah the Grammys wouldn't matter to you once you playing in that independent bag. Yeah that's not important to me.
Starting point is 01:40:15 Parks rates may change as an engineer as they will change. Yeah. So this should matter. And you went again too you went with
Starting point is 01:40:25 Slaughterhouse Slaughterhouse yeah I technically won when M won that's true when M won I won that's true
Starting point is 01:40:32 that's why I was there very different seats from my first time at the Grammys I was behind Will Smith Wayne you know what I mean
Starting point is 01:40:40 Kim K was right there ah I'm eating burgers yeah very different experience. But if you can go and experience it, you should go and experience it. That's why I'm doing it. I've been nominated before, but this is like, no, I can actually afford to go buy the nice suit.
Starting point is 01:40:57 Because you've got to buy tickets to the Grammys, even if you're nominated, unless you're like the super-duper star, like front row seat type shit. Like, yeah, I'm going to spend it, I'm going to go because I've never been. And who knows when you get the opportunity to do it again? There you go. Who knows who you'll meet there? You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can meet somebody.
Starting point is 01:41:13 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard. Just run into people I already know, too, which is fly. Nah, we talking about the people you don't know. Every year this topic comes up, I say the awards don't matter and y'all should stop acting like it matters. But I agree with like, I do think there's levels
Starting point is 01:41:27 to how much you should care about it. You know what I mean? Like I work on a lot of stuff that I think is incredible that will never be Grammy nominated or even on the radar
Starting point is 01:41:36 of the Grammys and I love that shit. But when you get the opportunity to work on something that is recognized, I'm going to go enjoy that and celebrate it. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:41:43 As you should. I stopped even submitting to the Grammys after a while. And then there was years I wanted to submit that my label wouldn't submit me because it cost to submit. Yeah. It cost to submit.
Starting point is 01:41:54 So sometimes you think you got one and the label's like, man, we ain't paying for that shit. Yo, just think about that, though. You got to pay to even have your shit submitted for somebody else to say, nah. No, you lost. you got to pay to even have your shit submitted for, for, uh, somebody else to say,
Starting point is 01:42:06 nah, no, you lost. Yo, every Tuesday and Friday, I do this little, little thing, little pod.
Starting point is 01:42:15 Am I on air right now? Yes. Yeah. This is exciting. What are we talking about? Uh, do the Grammys matter? This is the lady.
Starting point is 01:42:24 This is the lady. I don't care about it. You don't care about the Grammys?? This is Soleil. This is Soleil. You don't care about the Grammys? So no, they don't matter. No, but I wanted to ask you, do you want to come to London for my Montclair presentation? Huh? You've been talking about
Starting point is 01:42:39 doing the fashion thing for a second. It seems like a good opportunity to do so. You have a Montclair? Yeah, nigga. Yeah, bro. You gonna send it to me? Or am I just like a presentation thing? I don't know. Just come.
Starting point is 01:42:56 Fresh off Paris. I seen you out there. I seen you out there moving around, dog. You was moving. When is your London shit? It's on the 20th. See, you fancy niggas. You was moving. When is your London shit? It's on the 20th. See, you fancy niggas. That's, I can't, that's now. Yo, turn it into business.
Starting point is 01:43:11 Do a show out there. Do a pod out there. In three weeks? In London. Could I get this off? I might come to this. I might try to come to this. Turn it into a topic. I want to support you. it into a topic i want to
Starting point is 01:43:25 support you i have a topic for you that you're right on time for what's that you asked me for melissa ford and my girl's mailing address sent them some sent them some fly crocs and then sent me some new balance shits that i appreciated and thought it was fly but the crocs would have been pretty there's a few colors i don't have. I just thought they would come but they didn't. It's fine. I just figured your lady needed
Starting point is 01:43:50 to get as fresh as you. See, me even saying it out loud is hate. It is. It's definitely hate. It's definitely hate. You can't hate on your girl. Yes, you can.
Starting point is 01:43:59 You shouldn't do it on the podcast. Oh, yeah. Not on the podcast. Yo, London. Maybe I'm there. Maybe I bring the guys. I want them on clear. I want the shit if I come. I'll come to London. Maybe I'm there. Maybe I bring the guys. I want them on clear.
Starting point is 01:44:06 I want the shit if I come. I'll come to London. Look how cool this guy looks, yo. Look how cool he is. Where's he at? On top or something? Look how rich he looks. For real.
Starting point is 01:44:16 You got the art? You made the call out for the art? You got some art? Hey, you see me? Hey. I'm trying to get rights, the lady. I'm trying to get right, Sule. I'm trying to get culture. I see you.
Starting point is 01:44:27 I see you. All right. Think it through, though. You should come, man. All right. No, I'm going to think it through. I'll call you later. All right.
Starting point is 01:44:34 Peace. Peace out. Peace. Later. Pod in London. Huh? With Manzi Lit. Meet me at the London.
Starting point is 01:44:42 Yeah, that call would have been much funnier if Soleil would have came in. I could have told the story about my experience of New York Fashion Week going to parties with him. You did? Oh, no, I didn't. You told him? No, you did talk about it a little bit. Maybe you didn't tell him. He's like, no, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:44:56 No, I didn't. He's telling us he didn't tell us. Niggas was on me. Oh, my God. Come on, Joe, man. What? Stop. You're an actor, niggas. on me in there. Oh, my God. You told me. Come on, Joe, man. What? Stop. You were an actor, niggas.
Starting point is 01:45:09 Stop, bro. Yeah, I could bag one of them niggas if I was like that. Yo, I'm not doing this. We're not doing it. We're not doing it. Come on, moving on, moving on. Ish was saying about the Grammys. See, you be throwing niggas off and then be trying to shut me up.
Starting point is 01:45:21 Stop doing that. You threw us off with the stuff. Stop. You can't say that. You do us over with the stuff. Stop. You can't say that. You got it. It's fine. I'm writing it down. It's fine.
Starting point is 01:45:31 We're here for you, bro. We're here for you, bro. We got you, King. All right. Do the Grammys matter? Who knows if they matter or not? I'm going to call... They do.
Starting point is 01:45:38 I'm going to call Shirley from Variety. Shirley. Shirley from Variety Shirley From Variety Friend of the show Yo they don't even see these moves I'm making Yo come on it's Stevie though
Starting point is 01:45:52 It's Stevie Come on Think Tank's be doing it Oh look Mr. Joseph Budden Shirley Is this you? It is Round of applause for shirley shirley we just really unpacked this whole do the grammys matter why do they matter
Starting point is 01:46:17 who do they matter to topic and parks is grammy nominated this year so we wanted we tried to handle it with care. Of course, because he's nominated, everybody said that it matters. Ishing myself, we fall on the... If it's not changing your pay, it shouldn't matter. I know for the fans, it's programming. For me, I don't give a fuck about the Grammys, who got voted, who didn't, the for me i don't give a fuck about the grammys who got voted who didn't the parties i don't give a fuck how do more mature people like yourself feel
Starting point is 01:46:50 i don't know if i would call myself more mature um but uh unless you're talking about my age in which case i will take slight offense to that no no not you not you definitely um listen to the industry which i cover it does matter you know it's it literally like three or four months of their year is is based around campaigning for grammys making sure that the music comes out in time for grammys like all of those things, there's a whole infrastructure that supports the Grammys as like, you know, a major, you know, a major acknowledger of what is happening in music. Now, there are other people like artists who really don't give a fuck about it. Like, you know, they could have been, they probably have plenty of Grammys on their mantles.
Starting point is 01:47:48 It's not something that's important to them. And I think we've seen that play out publicly, like Drake, Nicki Minaj. Jay-Z. Yeah, Jay-Z. Who's rumored to be back this year, right? Yes, we reported that he is supposed to be doing a performance with dj collett
Starting point is 01:48:08 and of course collett is nominated in a whole bunch of categories and uh for god did and and i expect jay to be there so that opens the question of will beyonce be there um of course all of these names are just just to get the ratings because the ratings on these shows have been like piss poor the last few years so it's like who is a big enough name to get you to actually care but why is there such a thing but surely why for the for the listener out there why are ratings so important because ratings mean ad dollars ratings made yeah exactly dollars and the franchise continuing on cbs if they can't pull out the ratings um they don't get the sponsors they don't get the talent you know last year's grammys was just under 10 million it was nine and a half
Starting point is 01:49:00 million uh three years before it was 18.7 million the year that whitney houston died it was 40 million like talk about a precipitous drop and you know yeah it's because people don't watch tv uh linear tv the way that they used to so all of these things factor and the amount of money that the grammys has means the amount of money that they have to dole out to performers because it's really more about the performances there's 18 performances and they only give out nine awards during the broadcast and to pay for these grandiose productions that we know a DJ Khaled would want um it costs money and the labels don't have that money so again it comes down to what kind of funding does the Grammy have behind it?
Starting point is 01:49:47 So that's my long and short answer. I think she has a question. Question, Shirley. So do you think it's a correlation between people not really caring about the Grammys and the ratings? Like, I think that if they cater to or acknowledge, because you said it was about acknowledgement, if people found validity in the people that were winning, I think they would watch
Starting point is 01:50:13 more. Do you think it's a correlation or no? I don't think so. I think they found that people don't really watch when it's just award after award after award. Like the thing about the Grammys is really just the performances, getting them to be out there on stage. Because if you look at like the Oscars, you know, like how many people tune out like in the middle of the Oscars? This is so boring. There's so many awards.
Starting point is 01:50:38 Yeah, exactly. Like no one wants to see that. And CBS actually, the Grammys actually rate better than the oscars and better than the emmy so i think that they're like don't fix it if it ain't broke like keep the performances going that makes sense um yeah but there is this pre-telecast which people sleep on this pre-tell but you can watch it online and it's actually really kind of fun because it's all of the hundred and forty other categories that the Grammys give out and you'll be someone just be so excited like this is the greatest moment of their life and you
Starting point is 01:51:16 know they don't televise those so so there is that kind of moment to it too gotcha and then there's the parties mm-hmm oh my god there's so many parties we have this party list that we we update constantly then there's the parties oh my god there's so many parties we have this party list that we um we update constantly and there's about 45 events on it so far and that's all crammed into four or five days parks are you going to these things i'm going to one of them i'm not sure what else i'll go to play all right play it by ear if you want me to share our master party doc, you can see where we're all going to be. No, but there's a ton going on. And I think we're going to see some big names show up at the Clive Davis party where Julie Greenwald and Craig Kalman are being honored.
Starting point is 01:52:01 I think we're going to see Cardi in the house. I think we may gonna see cardi in the house i think we'll we may see missy um we're definitely gonna see lizzo uh jack harlow it's gonna be a big saturday night for atlantic i have a feeling and these are the kinds of things that we pay attention to it's like who's having the bomb party yeah here's a loaded question for you what does grammy time do for variety oh my god our traffic just like goes through the roof um you know starting tomorrow or sorry today because this is wednesday um starting on wednesday uh we have doja cat on our cover and we have an entire issue dedicated to the grammys all these
Starting point is 01:52:39 fun stories we have all these uh we have a really fun story about anonymous Grammy voters telling us the real deal on who they did or didn't vote for. It's hilarious. Oh, great. That's really good. That's a really good piece. We also have another piece that I thought of, which is like, you know how they never get the microphone stand right on any of these award shows? Yes. They can't tell who's short, who's tall.
Starting point is 01:53:06 board shows yes like they can't tell who's short who's tall like we did an entire article on like why it's so difficult to get that microphone stand height right um and and it's like they're actually really tall this year jack harlow's really tall omar apollo uh machine gun kelly taylor swift is like almost six feet tall and that's like without heels. You'll name a black person eventually. Megan Thee Stallion. Hey! There we go. Hey, hey, hey. All right.
Starting point is 01:53:32 Somebody black. Omar Apollo is a POC. Come on. A POC. Give it to me. Give it to me. Oh, listen. One of my favorite singers, Tone Stiff, hit me.
Starting point is 01:53:42 Like, that's the other part. People hitting you around Grammy time to say, hey, are you going to be in LA for the Grammys? No, I'm not going to be Tone Stiff, hit me. That's the other part, people hitting you around Grammy time to say, hey, are you going to be in L.A. for the Grammys? No, I'm not going to be in L.A. for the Grammys. I don't want to party with none of y'all, all right? But, Shirley, I hope you have a really good time out there. Oh, I'm going to.
Starting point is 01:53:58 It's going to be fun. It's going to be packed. Still waiting to find out about a few of the really big parties, like the Rock Nation brunch. Parks, do you go to that? No, I'm not that cool, but maybe I will. I feel like you should be my plus one. Yeah, that's what Shirley.
Starting point is 01:54:10 I think you and Parks need to get together. Let's do it. For some roaming around out there. Let's do it. I think so, too, because I would love to do an article on Parks being a Grammy nominee. Let's do it. Come on. I think it's a good deal.
Starting point is 01:54:23 Is this the first Joe Budden affiliated person who's nominated for a Grammy? Yeah no Joe affiliated we do care no that is a big deal let's go Parks well y'all two have fun I have a feeling that mine and your next conversation post
Starting point is 01:54:39 Grammy is going to be pretty funny oh I can't wait I can't wait either Shirley Shirley, thank you so much. Shout out to Variety. We love you all over there. Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks, Joe. You're the best.
Starting point is 01:54:51 Anytime. Love. Bye-bye. Bye, Shirley. Shirley's great. That was great. Shirley's good. But that's a lot of information.
Starting point is 01:54:57 Yeah. A ton. Makes a lot of... It makes sense. Make dollars make sense. Dollars makes sense. My man making moves. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:06 Fam. Niggas be sitting on the couch. No, it don't matter. Yeah, it matters. They were looking at something else. Money like that. When that type of money get to moving around. I didn't think about the press angle, too.
Starting point is 01:55:18 That's big for the press. This is unlimited coverage. Fam, you have superstars. Every superstar in the world all in one location or underdogs or you know what I mean all in one location
Starting point is 01:55:29 it's a lot of room for journalistic like the all star game of music you know what I'm saying that shit is crazy yeah that's dope I didn't think about
Starting point is 01:55:37 that angle definitely you definitely should be out there bumping some elbows yeah definitely I'm outside this year
Starting point is 01:55:44 as you should be, bro. Yeah, man. Congratulations again, man. I love that shit. Thank you, man. Love it. Proud of you. Proud of you.
Starting point is 01:55:49 Thank you. Mansion in Jersey. German engineering. German engineering. No, I'm not going to let you do that. I'm not going to let you turn a sentimental moment into some jokey pod fella bullshit. Expound on that. Expound on being outside more and making like a conscious effort
Starting point is 01:56:05 to be this shit. Yeah, I mean, it's just shit. Even just talking about how we were, I was at Saks and Bergdorf and people were recognizing me and going to the special and seeing love. Like, I want to be outside more
Starting point is 01:56:15 and see people. Me too. You know what I'm saying? Like, we come here, we do our thing. Most of us are pretty much homebodies. We stay at home. We might go to a restaurant
Starting point is 01:56:24 or a bar or strip club or whatever we frequent. And that's cool. No, he do our thing. Most of us are pretty much homebodies. We stay at home. We might go to a restaurant or a bar or a strip club or whatever we frequent. And that's cool. No, he's absolutely right. No, I'm serious. He's absolutely right. No, I ain't joking. I know I come in here with my strip club stories a lot,
Starting point is 01:56:34 but I feel like a slave. Yeah. Like, why can't I think of something else? I want to do something else. That don't count. Yeah. That's nothing. Step outside the comfort zone.
Starting point is 01:56:43 Yeah, you're living. And then it's fly like cause we get love so like why not go receive that love from places that you wouldn't get it normally right
Starting point is 01:56:50 it's true here it's funny hearing you say that only cause you've been here for 8 years yeah so but he's still so low key I understand
Starting point is 01:56:58 like in personality he's low key but like I still be throwing me off like I'm starting to get it yeah this is a I know you jokingly say well not even jokingly but you'll tell us
Starting point is 01:57:07 all the time how big of a platform this is but I can't speak for itch but for myself yes you do it all time no I don't I'm sad I'm talking y'all and joke the y'all in the crib on some normal shit like you don't really realize how many people are listening so everywhere I go there's somebody just like y'all fuck with y'all I'm just like no I started it's starting to really that's just that's in a little bit it's okay I'm sorry no good it's starting to hit me because the people that you wouldn't think you know I'm saying like Russell starts saying older people or you know I mean like jokers that you wouldn't think would recognize you they starting to recognize you or people that
Starting point is 01:57:44 I've known for 10 15 years and they start quoting shit that we talk about on the pod. Word, yeah. One of my old dudes that do my garbage, right? He hauls garbage. That's a great description. No, listen, he older, though. He like 60-something, but he do clean outs.
Starting point is 01:57:59 The nigga sitting here talking about the Roddy Ricch interview. I'm like, what the fuck you know about Roddy Ricch? You know what I'm saying? Like that. And then now I'm starting to get the facial recognition everywhere. I went to damn, I went to last night. My girl took me to it was a hip hop expo
Starting point is 01:58:16 in the city. It was all photography though. Hip hop shit. It's actually pretty fly. Y'all could go look at it. It's yeah it was crazy it's actually pretty fly we go y'all could go look at it yeah it's just um six floor well six floors and it's um all hip-hop photos just from all what east coast west coast from the 70s they start at breakdance and showed six little dudes walking down the street with big ass cardboard to go breakdance on they show um like grandmaster flash and them it just just mad shit who are working them but
Starting point is 01:58:45 um when you start getting a facial recognition in those spots it's like damn you know i mean like now you kind of everywhere you go somebody recognize you you paying the toll somebody like yo show you their phone you know i'm saying and they listening to you on the phone when you pull up and drive through that shit starts to do it in different spaces which you should go to london in my opinion yeah but doesn't that fall into i remember last time on the phone when you pull up and drive through that shit starts to be it's dope to do it in different spaces which you should go to London in my opinion but doesn't that fall into I remember last time in the part we was talking
Starting point is 01:59:09 I think it was Patreon where a lot of times we are afraid of certain things even going outside or you know we're homebodies you know what I mean how do you
Starting point is 01:59:17 separate the two can't you you just gotta be well you gotta be careful with the spaces you go obviously you don't wanna go in somewhere that you know it could be dangerous
Starting point is 01:59:24 anywhere but there are places where it's probably a little less likely to be careful with the spaces you go. Obviously, you don't want to go in somewhere that, you know, it could be dangerous anywhere, but there are places where it's probably a little less likely to be dangerous than others. And there's a way to move. We was talking about Super Bowl-ish. Say, yo, what, did you get in the box? Like, we laughed it off, but there's a way to move. You don't have to go certain places. True.
Starting point is 01:59:38 Honestly, Flip, to your question, for me personally, I had to, I don't want to say unlearn, but I just had to realize that not everybody is on. Like from where we come from, y'all included. Orange. No. Western. Somebody looking at you, you might be like, yo, fuck you looking at?
Starting point is 01:59:58 Like your antennas is up. You know what I mean? Whereas now somebody looking at you, they a pod fan. So it's like if I see somebody looking, they a pod fan. So it's like, if I see somebody looking, that don't necessarily mean what it used to mean. Not saying it can't,
Starting point is 02:00:10 but just... 50 Cent, he don't want to be in the penitentiary for clapping one of his fans. You know what I'm saying? I was in the bank. You remember my nigga?
Starting point is 02:00:16 I was in the bank. This was a couple days ago. This is a true story. None of us should aspire to have the psyche that 50 Cent has, by the way. But go ahead.
Starting point is 02:00:23 You know how to holla G. Stop. Yo, I'm at the bank and I got to see one of the, not the tellers, but the, I forgot the name. Branch managers. Branch managers. I walk in the bank. Kid sees me like, oh, shit. Right?
Starting point is 02:00:35 Young kid. Yeah. I'm waiting for the branch manager by her door. She making a phone call for me. He didn't even know he was being rude. Fam, he's standing right behind me. I'm waiting on the branch manager. She's
Starting point is 02:00:49 talking to me from the door. He comes up to me like, yo, my bad. I don't mean to be rude. Nigga, I'm conducting business. He shows his man the phone. His man is driving a truck like, oh, shit, library. Now you're on FaceTime with somebody. I'm in the bank, dog. Like, dog, the lady called me in the office. He's like, oh, shit, oh, shit, library. Now you're on FaceTime with somebody.
Starting point is 02:01:06 I'm in the back, dog. Like, dog, the lady called me in the office. He's like, oh, shit, oh, shit, my bad, my bad. And you got to go. Like, fam, you don't. But I laughed. You know what I'm saying? I don't.
Starting point is 02:01:18 This is a true story. I'm in a spot the other day. It was the fourth anniversary of the spot around my way. In the hood, I went. Girl follows me in the bathroom. Oh, the unisex bathroom. It's,
Starting point is 02:01:28 no, it's a man's bathroom. She comes in there like, yo, is this unisex? using the unisex bathroom. And I'm like, no,
Starting point is 02:01:34 fam, it's not unisex. You on that show? And she took a picture with me in the bathroom. Wow. Yo, is this awkward? I'm like,
Starting point is 02:01:42 yeah. Yeah, it's awkward. I'm washing my hands. She really, so that stuff is starting to really. You was at the little urinal, the this awkward? I'm like, yeah. It's awkward. I'm washing my hands. She really... So that stuff is starting to really... You was at the little urinal? The small one?
Starting point is 02:01:50 I'm asking. Sometimes that's the only one available. No, I'm 6'2". You've never used the little urinal? I definitely have. So why are you telling me your height right now? I wasn't, nigga, because you're trying to be funny. Melissa's not even here.
Starting point is 02:01:58 Nigga always screaming his height like Melissa's here. She does... She do be listening. You on her dick too, yo. I ain't gonna lie to you. Why y'all say that? One of these days, we're gonna unpack it.
Starting point is 02:02:08 She said, can I have my dick back? That's what she said. I ain't like that. She told this nigga to get off my dick. Well, we know why. But I think,
Starting point is 02:02:16 let's move on. All right, let's move on. We know why. I love a good B-Mike. He was gonna move us on, huh? No, no, but for Ojo's side, real quick, I think that it's good to hear these stories, man. Even when my status started to become known outside,
Starting point is 02:02:34 it was very hard for me to separate the two. Very hard, man, you know? But you got to do it. You got to live. I think being up here and seeing you guys. You left the Crips? Sit out, man. No, they forced him out. Nobody forced me out of nothing. Your mother forced you out. You gotta do it You gotta live I think being up here And seeing you guys You left the Crips No Get out man No they forced him out
Starting point is 02:02:46 Nobody forced me out of nothing Your mother forced you out No she just Forced you out Your mom forced you out of the Crips She brought me to Queens Holy shit She brought me to
Starting point is 02:02:59 From West Philadelphia Born and raised On the playground Is where I spend most of my days. Hey, yo, dawg. They ain't have no crips in Queens. When a couple of guys, they were up to no good. You know what's wrong with you niggas?
Starting point is 02:03:13 Started making trouble. This. This. We can't be mature, right? Be mature. Nah, but you know, it was good days. My mother gave me the basement in Queens. When I was getting in trouble in a book,
Starting point is 02:03:22 she just gave me the whole basement. Oh, I had some exes like that. Should I call me a bitch in Queens. When I was getting in trouble in Brooklyn, she just gave me the whole basement. Oh, I had some exes like that. Yeah. Should I call me a bitch? No. I had some exes that their parents gave in the little basement. Yo, that's your apartment now. Stop saying little. And that was fly.
Starting point is 02:03:36 Don't play. I'm not trying to play you. I went to a mini-side door. They don't know, but that was fly. It was. I'm going to leave a side door. And it could still be fly depending on... Just walk down the stairs.
Starting point is 02:03:44 You know why? Because it catch you off guard. You think you're going in some basement shit? That's why. New York must have gave me a car. And it could still be flat, depending on just walk down the stairs. You know why? Because it catch you off guard. You think you're going in some basement shit. That shit open up like, look at the structure down here. You think you love Jones. Yeah. I had a living room, a bedroom, my own bathroom.
Starting point is 02:03:54 Yeah. A back entrance. Yeah. That was our version of a loft. Yeah, that was our apartment. Yeah. That was a loft. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:02 You know, like the exit row seat was the first class seat at some point. My father get mad all the time. That was a fucking. You know, like the exit row seat was the first class seat at some point. My father get mad all the time. You know your dad, wow, it got him out the Crips. No, that was, hold on. Even though it got me out the Crips, it still was fucked up. Because when I was with my dad in Brooklyn, I was doing good. Even though I joined the Crips, I was doing good in school.
Starting point is 02:04:19 Because my dad, I was in an apartment on Union Street. When I went to Queens. Like a grade A Crip. When I went to Queens, chill out. When I got my own apartment, I was driving wild. So it was a gift on Union Street. When I went to Queens... Like a grade A crib. When I went to Queens... Chill out. When I got my own apartment, I was driving wilding. So it was a gift and a curse. My father always get at my mother about that.
Starting point is 02:04:31 Like, you gave this nigga the basement. You let him have all his freedom and look what happened. He didn't even fucking graduate. So even though it was ill, when I was with my dad, I did good. I wasn't going to school on time. He wasn't playing.
Starting point is 02:04:42 The nigga would pop up on me. You still talk to your dad? Yeah he's in Jamaica I still talk to him That's dope Yeah thank you There's nothing behind it You're looking for like a shot coming
Starting point is 02:04:53 Cause a lot of shit be with you All niggas say You still talk to your dad That be a shot You see my dad Stop by I talk to my dad He give everybody burgers and shit
Starting point is 02:05:02 Yeah shout out to Pop He give everybody burgers He do though He do, though. He hold it down. He present it. Ever since you made that comment, you said it seemed like the Joe Burgers was falling off. Pop ain't like that shit.
Starting point is 02:05:11 No, no, no. I can tell. I can tell. You can tell. His father forced the niggas to eat shit. Mustard. You got to put mustard. I said, why you eat mustard, J.R.?
Starting point is 02:05:19 Because there's a way that it's supposed to be. Don't think you pops. He said, he looked at me like I was crazy. You don't want a hamburger? Nah, I'm good, pops. Nigga can't ask me twice. Y'all like pulp in your orange juice? Yes. I could do both.
Starting point is 02:05:34 It don't matter. It doesn't matter. You don't care, right, if shit's floating in your mouth? You don't care. He wants them back in his DM so bad. What'd you mean, back? Lean on me! They never left. Yo, stop, bro. Yo, you don't care. He wants them back in his DM so bad, yo. Exactly. He call us. What you mean back?
Starting point is 02:05:46 Lean on me. They never left. Stop. They in this deal. Yo. In this deal what? Have their wedding. Yo.
Starting point is 02:05:54 Yo, I'm going to keep it real. Stop. Have their wedding. Is you drink orange juice with pulp in it? He don't want to talk, man. I can do both. It don't matter. Hey, yo, you can do both with what?
Starting point is 02:06:04 Orange juice with pulp, orange juice without. Clear it. Clear it to talk, man. I can do both. It don't matter. Hey, yo, you can do both with what? Orange juice with pulp, orange juice without. Clear it. Clear it. You my man. But do y'all get medium pulp or like a lot of heavy? Stop. Stop. I'm asking a question.
Starting point is 02:06:13 Heavy on the pulp? Some pulp. Like where you can barely taste the juice, right? Some pulp. I don't like the heavy pulp. Yeah, I don't like the heavy pulp. It say some pulp. Yo, why you CP?
Starting point is 02:06:20 Why you answering this? Wait, why not, though? It's too chunky, man. Hey! I don't want to be chewing my orange juice, son. Come on. Wait. Meaty ass orange juice. I'm good.
Starting point is 02:06:31 Meaty orange juice. Stop! You put too much. You put too much in it. What? No, he said meaty orange juice, yo. Yeah, you be having to chew the orange juice. I'm good, man.
Starting point is 02:06:38 CP, chill out. Yo, what's meaty orange juice? It's an extra. All right. Can each of y'all who enjoy pulping your orange juice at least over this song share a story of the pulpiest orange juice you ever had? Please? Please?
Starting point is 02:06:58 Why? Where you was at? It's orange juice. Saint-Germain? Saint-Germain? Day after day. Saint-Germain. Seemed like my one and only. What happened? How was it? What did you have Sandro Payne. Day after day, seem like my one and only.
Starting point is 02:07:07 What happened? How was it? What did you have for breakfast that morning? Yeah. I'll tell you what, though. Come on, you pulled up the Starbucks window. What happened? I'm going to tell you what.
Starting point is 02:07:17 One time when you don't know how much, you think it's just medium pope or some pope, and it should be. That's disgusting. Oh, man, turn it up. Turn the music up. I work in every blessed morning. Bitch, overseas they have the sweet barbershops, right?
Starting point is 02:07:32 Like when you go out. Overseas they got fresh squeeze. So there don't be no Pope. They got that here too. And they put sugar in it, you think? No. That should be sweet. They squeeze the shit right in front of you.
Starting point is 02:07:40 Out of town, that should be sweet. All right, forget my Pope question. Next question. Next question. Y'all ever trip putting your pants on? Absolutely. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 02:07:48 Yo, I ain't going to hold you. Tell me that. Come on. Come on, why y'all so tough? Melly, I'm trying to get all the geeky shit out of the way. Or take them off. Putting your pants on in your 40s is different. I'm not even going to hold you.
Starting point is 02:07:58 I ripped my pants. I ripped my Mary's thing. Well, they was the wrong size anyway. 34s. This nigga ripped his beliefs. Even the beliefs ain't believing. Hey, yo, your man mad. Got a deal with his people.
Starting point is 02:08:13 Fuck out of here. I'm not mad. I know the deal you in. Oh, man. It's like most of them. Most of them is in the deals I said no to. Oh, man. We got them.
Starting point is 02:08:24 No, they got you. Bionic. Bionic 6. Yeah, that Bionic 6 is popping in the street. Y'all are nuts. Yeah, and anytime they say it, I ain't gonna lie,
Starting point is 02:08:35 I feel like a genius. Y'all think I'm arrogant now. This shit better implode soon. We know. It better not work. It better not work. Me and this nigga were arguing about that shit.

Stop that expensive shit. Stop throwing that out there. I'm looking at you. I'm just watching you. But why are you watching me? I said what I had to say. Stop that expensive shit, bro.
Starting point is 02:09:12 Stop. Don't throw it out there like you're trying to so it can cloud our minds. No, nigga, you're making money, nigga. So it can cloud our minds. The nigga stopped on the phone and said, wait, I am making money. Yes. Oodles. But ain't that the point? Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 02:09:25 It is. It is. Fuck you. Hell yeah. This is me. I've been conducting a real life in real time chem test. It's a chem test. So, yeah.
Starting point is 02:09:39 A, and the mistake people make is you go on a chem test and you start throwing some shit around and you waiting to see the result that you're looking for versus a result. Niggas just threw some shit in the chem test and exposed. She started blowing up. Fans like, yo, it's blowing up, it's blowing up, it's blowing up, it's blowing up. Yeah. But that means something happened. That's true. Facts.
Starting point is 02:10:03 Reaction. That's a fact. But that means something happened. That's true. Facts. Reaction. That means if I put this sulfite in this, I don't know, no term. Chemist term. Magnesium.
Starting point is 02:10:11 Yeah, all of that. What they call a big chart with all the shit. Periodic chart. Periodic chart. That's the moment I knew I was dropping out. Once they bring that periodic chart to third grade. Chemistry won't buy it. E equals peace.

Starting point is 02:17:15 Okay, well you are. And I never tried to be Canadian. Are you going to suffer from the Great Depression like everybody else? Yes. Yeah. Yeah, of course. Why would I? We'll see
Starting point is 02:17:25 No matter how rich you are Nigga if ain't no bread In Pathmark Ain't no bread Word It's a fact Ain't no bread It's a fact
Starting point is 02:17:32 And then last night Let me tell you about My big money ass You wanna hear about Some big money shit Let me tell you about How money means Absolutely nothing
Starting point is 02:17:37 In real life Go in the bowling alley Hey what's up dog Nodge called me Said yo get two lanes We doing league style Alright bet Go in the bowling alley Some old fat white dude There ain't never called me and said, yo, get two lanes. We're doing league style. All right, bet. Going to ball now.
Starting point is 02:17:46 Some old fat white dude there. He ain't never seen me before. Yo, dog. Let me get two lanes. You can't get two lanes. All right. Why not? Because we got three leagues going at it.
Starting point is 02:17:57 One lane available. There's only one lane available. All right, but I'll wait for the second lane. Well, how many people you got bowling? Five. Not enough people. How many people I need? Seven.
Starting point is 02:18:08 I was trying to be funny and hit you with the six. He said seven. I said, so why can't my five people come and I pay like two more people are there? Yeah. I'll pay for seven. I have no problem with that. No, because you need seven live actual bodies there. Because what happens is there will be another group of seven waiting for that lane.
Starting point is 02:18:25 They'll have to take those lanes. So your money can't do anything. Even if you wanted to pay, no matter how much you could pay. Me working on patients said, thank you. Please give me my ticket, my waiting list number.
Starting point is 02:18:39 And I went to the bar 20 minutes later, knowledge comes in. He goes to the register. He looks friendly with the same dude. I just finished the bar. 20 minutes later, Naj comes in. He goes to the register. He looks friendly with the same dude I just finished arguing with. He looks over at me at the bar.
Starting point is 02:18:51 He says, hey, what number you got? 95? No, we ready right now. Two lanes. Come on, come on right now. I walk over to him. The guy says,
Starting point is 02:18:59 oh, I didn't know you were with him. He always asks for two lanes. So, hey, second we can get you on two lanes, we got you on two lanes. Yeah. The power in relationships. That's the power. That's all that is.
Starting point is 02:19:17 That's all it is. Money don't matter sometimes. The power is in the relationships. Power was in my fist about to go out. I know you were sitting there like, what did you drink? was in my fist about to go out. Word. I know you were sitting in there like, what did you drink? Only in my head, though. Starting point is 02:23:48 But how would they know what to critique? Fam, what they doing with this shit now? AI can do anything. I saw somebody send some shit over and it was like... And it's an Asian AI too, I think. I'm not joking. I'm not joking. I only say that because, you you know you got to use your background

Starting point is 02:24:33 Google new AI shit can turn text into straight music. Like I'm talking about they were typing, I need a song that's something like this, like this, like this. It played the beat, the lyrics, the melodies, everything. Turned it into an entire song. Nah, so I've been looking at... Apple Music.
Starting point is 02:24:49 Nah, I've been looking at writing a book. And my man told me the other day, he was like, yo, now they got AI shit. Will you just put the subject matter out that you want? Oh, yeah. And the shit will damn near write the book for you. No plagiarism, no nothing. It is damn near you just keep putting all the data in and the shit will damn near write the book for you. No plagiarism, no nothing. It is damn near.
Starting point is 02:25:05 You just keep putting all the data in, and the shit will write it for you. That is insane. Somebody did that shit on Reddit. It was just like, yo, they put it into the AI shit to make a movie involving us. And that shit came up with who each character was, plot lines, story lines, the whole shit. Starting point is 02:26:38 Hey, TJ. What's up, TJ? What's up, TJ? My name. TJ says, so I'm out with a joint. She bought me courtside tickets to an NBA game, first date, first link. She insisted on paying for everything, including dinner, at a very upscale, prestigious restaurant in the area. The problem is, she already is like a 5.8, maybe 7 on her best day.
Starting point is 02:26:58 Good body, nice tits, closer to below average face. So the night ends, she wants me to come in her crib, and I'm like, nah. We can get a hotel. Thinking she might say nah but she agrees and pays for that too so now it's like 3 a.m nigga chilling and i got bored like fuck it i might as well beat no lie son i beat then the next morning i threw up because i had no business fucking this chick. Yeah, I relate, TJ. I can understand. I was just vulnerable because I miss my girl. But I'm just wondering if any of you have ever been through this,
Starting point is 02:27:33 mostly you and Ish, I don't think that Flip can relate to this respectfully. Fuck you. No, you've been committed and you've been with your lady for a long time. You've been married so you can't relate to that. And you know what's up with you. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you've been committed and you've been with your lady for a long time. You've been married
Starting point is 02:27:45 so you can't relate to that. And you know what's up. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you married. I was about to confess about a lie I've been telling on Joe for years but I'm going to talk
Starting point is 02:27:53 about it on Patreon. A lie you've been telling about me? No, not a lie but like I've been lying on my dick for a long time about it for real. I was about to say a joke

Starting point is 02:28:25 I've been lying for years, man. I've been lying. It's been my go-to line. I mean, I was dead, but I lied. Hey, dawg, if you over 25 and you lying on your dick? No, that's when I was a kid. You said I've been lying for years, which means you are actively currently lying.
Starting point is 02:28:39 No, are you dumb? Meaning that the lie extended. This is the first time me confessing to the lie. TJ. We all been through it, confessing to the lie. TJ. We all been through it, TJ. I have been there before. I'm not there anymore because today I'm a lot better at not fucking the woman that I don't want to fuck. True.
Starting point is 02:28:55 Especially not because she bought tickets and she did some fly shit. You're going to need a little more than that. And if you miss your girl, go get your girl. But you wouldn't go through that. If you miss your girl, go get your girl. I'm a proponent. You wouldn't go through that, though. You wouldn't put that girl than that. And if you miss your girl, go get your girl. But you wouldn't go through that. If you miss your girl, go get your girl. I'm a proponent. You wouldn't go through that, though.
Starting point is 02:29:08 You wouldn't put that girl through that. You wouldn't allow her to pay for tickets. The girl didn't go through nothing. She paid for a great night, got some dick, and went on about her life.
Starting point is 02:29:16 He was a nigga throwing up at home. She did what... She was chilling. She did what niggas do every day. Yeah. Nah, he wouldn't do that. TJ, man up, man.
Starting point is 02:29:25 Clean the throw up off the floor. Get yourself together. Wipe your mouth. Yeah. Shorty tricked off on TJ. Yeah. Well, but what if she liked TJ? That's her business.
Starting point is 02:29:35 What's that got to do with him? That's not our business. We don't care. That's misleading like you told me the other day at the bar. You better be careful to not be misled. True. Really? When you go by the girl, You better be careful to not be misled. True. Really? When you go by the girl
Starting point is 02:29:47 it's called discernment. That's true. When you go by the girl Rolex and take her to Maldives she don't want to be bothered. It's the same shit. That's some sucker shit. You gave me a whole speech
Starting point is 02:29:56 about why you don't want to send drinks over there to mislead them and now you telling me? Yo, and next week we putting out the list a hundred of the biggest reasons why Joe Budden is a sucker,

Once again, that's Busta Rhymes featuring Bilal. Record is called Murder. They do a good job with those Godfather Harlem soundtracks.
Starting point is 02:36:59 I don't know if it's Swiss still curating them. I think so. They do a good job. Every year it'd be like a whole bunch of heaters. Godfather Harlem, when we mentioned the new Malcolm X y'all got, I hadn't seen it. But now that I've seen it, I've seen the new Malcolm X. And I don't have the biggest problem with it.
Starting point is 02:37:19 And I was mad at myself about it until I remember it. I hated y'all's version of Malcolm X until I got comfortable with him like when they debuted Malcolm X oh at first like the first time you seen him
Starting point is 02:37:29 I had a problem with him oh you didn't like that one I had a problem with him he didn't look like Malcolm to me he didn't sound like Malcolm but he acted his ass off so he got the role
Starting point is 02:37:36 in my opinion the new Malcolm X looks a little more Malcolm sounds a little more Malcolm I don't know if it's going to be a better Malcolm for TV nah I totally disagree why did they get the new Malcolm. I don't know if it's going to be a better Malcolm for TV.
Starting point is 02:37:47 Nah, I totally disagree. Why did they get the new Malcolm, though? I think the first Malcolm looked way more like him and was soft-spoken like him. Like, if you heard him talk when he wasn't giving a sermon, he was kind of soft-spoken a little bit with a little raspy Jadakiss type shit. The first dude was like that. I like that. Can we be honest and say that nobody could play Malcolm
Starting point is 02:38:06 like Denzel? Who you want to play Joel Osteen? Matthew McConaughey. Well, there you go. Yeah, nigga. He'll do it. He'll do it like
Starting point is 02:38:17 white casting. Yeah, that's right. He thought about that before, didn't he? Nah, yeah, he's good. Oh, shit, he thought about it? Think about that one when you're on. Nigga thought about it while he didn't he? Nah, yeah, he's good. Oh, shit, he thought about it? Think about that one.
Starting point is 02:38:26 Nigga thought about it while he was eating his toenails. Oh, man. No wonder he got to get the implants in his mouth. Toenails? Are you a dinosaur, nigga? Are you a pterodactyl? What? What did I just say before you interrupted me?
Starting point is 02:38:47 I don't know. All right. What happened? What's wrong? Go ahead. There's people listening. What happened? I said something about Denzel playing Malcolm,
Starting point is 02:38:58 and you just totally disregarded that. You're right about that. Flip. Thank you. He is the best Malcolm. Thank you very much, CP. White people. German engineering. It takes the best welcome. Thank you very much, CP. White people, German engineering, it takes to come in and make shit okay.
