Starting point is 00:24:00 Work. Same thing. Y'all look so full of shit. Same thing. But why do you think they are? Why? Like, why? Why they can't come say, yo, man, I'm going to have a picnic.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I'm going to go roller skate. I'm going to bowl. Yeah, because it's always just work, work, work. I'm going to go bowling tonight. See? Something. There you go. No.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Oh. Nah. We could do a group bowling. That would be fun. Not this weekend. I'm not available. I do group bowling every Monday with Nod and them. We could do.
Starting point is 00:24:30 This group. Yeah, if y'all want to stay in the house and not live life to its fullest, then listen, I can't wait anymore. You can't. I can't wait anymore. Okay. I cannot wait anymore. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Sorry. I got to live life to the fullest. Respect. Facts. Living my life like it's golden I got to live life to the fullest. Respect. Facts. Living my life like it's golden. Living my life like it's golden. Yeah, you don't know that song. Snagging on Winter Vegas and got a resurgence.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Yeah, from his mind. His mind. Once he saw that hand, once he saw a nigga disappear, end up in front of him, his mind fucked up. He wouldn't be like that. That's what happened. No, I'm just ready. I'm motivated.
Starting point is 00:25:03 You look motivated. Yeah, no, I am. I am. What you got planned for this weekend? Yeah, how about that? The Knicks. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Yes. Second round for us starts Sunday. Going to the game? Maybe. And I want to ask you that. Would you ever go
Starting point is 00:25:20 to the Garden and go back to the Garden and start going to the Garden? I've been to the Garden. I know, but go back and start going to games? What, were you like banned or something?
Starting point is 00:25:25 No. Okay. They just, I don't know. I just, he don't. Okay. What I'm saying is that, you know, he's very like antisocial a little bit. So I don't know if he wants to be outside. Yeah, but Nick games don't apply.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I enjoy the garden. Okay. I enjoy the atmosphere. I like basketball games. Football games, I much rather watch on TV. Yeah, absolutely. Football games are a little bit better. Unless you got real good seats.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Like football games are a little better on TV. All your suites and shit, you way up here. Cowboy Stadium is nice. Not trying to be funny. I never been there. I'm being serious. It's the only one like it. We're talking about all of those things.
Starting point is 00:25:54 So if they make it to the finals, they're going to be like, you know, the garden on you? We all go to the garden? No. Oh, all right. No, that's not. I knew you was going to say that.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Why, yeah. Because you phony. Yeah, no. I'm phony for telling the truth. No, you rich. No, that's not true. I knew you was going to say that. Why, yeah. Because you phony. Yeah, no. I'm phony for telling the truth. No, you rich. Yeah. No, I'm not. Rich in spirit.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I know. So you can spread that wealth. Rich in quite a few things. You know what I mean? Spiritually, you can be in some nice seats. Yeah, no. Mentally, think about them. Where do we start?
Starting point is 00:26:25 Let's start with rest in peace to Jerry Springer. Stupid ass What are we starting with? Let's start with Rest in Peace To Jerry Springer Yeah Rest in Peace Legend man Passed away at 79 Just a couple days ago
Starting point is 00:26:33 Rest in Peace man Yeah I did one of his last interviews You know what I mean With Jerry Springer He looked good He was excited Man
Starting point is 00:26:40 One of my favorite interviews I like the skits you did too Yes I did a skit with him And stuff like that And I Did a temporary I with him and stuff like that. And I did a temporary, I hosted his show. Oh, yeah? Judge Jerry, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:26:51 It was a good relationship. Oh, now I got to find that episode. That's up somewhere? It's on YouTube. I need to find that. Yeah, got to find that. Got to find that. I know you were on some bullshit. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Cultural icon, Jerry Springer. No question. Over 20 seasons of television. Former mayor of Cincinnati. I didn't even know that. He was a man. He held us down, yo. He did. He really did. That daytime block
Starting point is 00:27:15 right there, that was us. He turned the daytime talk show shit all the way up. Facts. All the way up. It used to be boring. Donahue. Yeah. Sally Jessie Raphael. And then it way up. It used to be boring. Donahue. Yeah. Sally Jessie Raphael. And then it turned up. Yeah. And then it turned up.
Starting point is 00:27:29 But then he inspired them to have to turn up. And then he had KKK on there getting their ass whooped and shit. Yeah, he had that shit. Appreciate that. Jerry Green. Rest in peace. Jerry, rest in peace. I remember sneaking to watch the Too Hot for TV, Jerry Springer joints, man.
Starting point is 00:27:45 And he's from Queens. Oh, for real? Yeah. Jerry's from Queens? Yeah, Astoria. Get out of here. I heard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Jerry's from Queens. Okay. He said every year he would go to his apartment, his old apartment, just to show, you know, to revisit it and to see how far he's come. How far he's come? How far he's come, yeah. Always, he said. Every year he would go to his old apartment.
Starting point is 00:28:06 I saw people out there like, damn, man, how come I had no idea that Jerry Springer had cancer? And I was like, well, are you related to him? Yeah, it's none of your... Like, why do you feel like you should know people's medical records and conditions? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Shout out to the whole NBC family. My condolences to them. You know what I mean? Steve Wilkos. Jerry gave us Steve. I did. Big-ass Steve coming out to break up the fight. My condolences to them. You know what I mean? Steve Wilkos. Jerry gave us Steve. I did. Big-ass Steve coming out to break up the fight in that tight black t-shirt. Shiny bald-head-ass Steve.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Steve will let you get your still off on a few. A couple, yeah. A couple will let you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Steve and Flip. That's where I got it from. I know. They say when Jerry died
Starting point is 00:28:45 you was home having seizures and panic attacks I was like damn I was like damn Flip might really be jacked up I ain't gonna check on you cause be a man
Starting point is 00:28:52 but look in the mirror and say it'll be okay right talk yourself out of it that's it I got it I got it
Starting point is 00:28:59 rest in peace Jerry Springer cultural icon gone but not forgotten we will miss you we love you and thank you thank you word and rest in peace, Jerry Springer, cultural icon. Gone but not forgotten. We will miss you. We love you. And thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Word. And rest in peace, Harry Belafonte as well. Yeah, we neglected to mention that last episode. He died at 96. 96 years old. Full of life. That's an icon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:17 No question. He is. In different games. Multiple games. Civil rights, acting, singing. Musician, yeah. He introduced Calypso to the American, the general public in America.
Starting point is 00:29:28 True. That's right. Rest in peace, Harry Belafonte. Can't really say rest in peace to the accuser of Emmett Till, though. She passed away recently. Rest in chaos. Yeah, rest in chaos.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Rest in piss. Rest in piss? Yeah, rest in piss. Dance on her grave. Yeah. Rest in chaos. Rest in piss. Rest in piss? Yeah, rest in piss. Dance on her grave. Yeah, all that. Whatever. So you guys are... I'm not for that, though.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I'm not for that. But rest in chaos. I ain't going to say a little bit. Because somebody that didn't do nothing wrong is mourning the lady. But I've said that over 100 times on over 100 podcasts. So I'm turning up.
Starting point is 00:30:06 I get it. The family... I mean, a couple'm turning up. I get it. The family, I mean, a couple of years ago, the family tried to get her charged. She should have gotten charged. And they kept trying. They kept trying. First, then it was they couldn't find her. No, there was an arrest warrant.
Starting point is 00:30:17 There was an arrest warrant for her made out like all those years back, like decades ago. And it was found like stuck to the bottom of a box in the basement of a courthouse. But then once they found it, they were like, they couldn't serve it. They didn't know where she was. Then they found her, and then they were saying because of her condition,
Starting point is 00:30:35 we're just not going to do it. I read that. Yeah, they was executing her. Whatever. I remember. Whatever. Just some bullshit. Didn't she apologize, though? She did. She did. She did. She apologized. She apologized. Yeah, I saw bullshit. Didn't she apologize, though? She did. I'm flying. She did. She apologized. She apologized. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:47 All right, cool. Rest in piss, still. Oh. You niggas. Okay. They better say you niggas. I'll say you niggas. Ice Vaughn.
Starting point is 00:30:57 No, no, no. You niggas. You all right? No, I'm just, I ain't rolling with that. I mean. All right. Her family should definitely. You lived a full fucking life And you apologize
Starting point is 00:31:05 Towards the end of your shit Mm-hmm And probably weighed on her Bullshit I call bullshit Bullshit I call supreme bullshit Fuck that
Starting point is 00:31:13 She had decades It should be rest in piss Both of you agree with rest in piss I'm saying rest in piss Y'all ain't gotta agree with me I'll stand on that by myself Rest in piss Her family should keep
Starting point is 00:31:22 Her grave site a secret Because I'm sure there's going to be quite a few people that feel like they want to visit it, not for the best, right reasons. That's you assuming that there'll be a gravesite? That's an assumption, yep. They could cremate her and... They could make her a necklace. They could make her a necklace.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Like some of my favorite... They can toss her into fertilizer. They can throw her ass right out back. Some of my favorite old hoes put their little grandma right here on their chudler and their little heart. I used to be fucking the shit out of them. Look at the grandma right in the eye. That's target practice now. But I used to care about it.
Starting point is 00:31:56 I used to ask, you ever want to put grandma on the end table? It's the spirit of grandma. Whatever. Grandma might have got busy too. Pox. My bad. Yeah, that's got busy, too. Yo. Pox. My bad. My bad. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:32:07 I said my bad. Y'all are reckless. I just want to say that. And I got to say rest in peace to my man, my man Bailey. My man Bailey has passed, man. Tell us who Bailey is. Rest in peace. Bailey is my man, family friend that won all the money in Harlem, $300 million. No way. Yeah. Damn, rest in peace. Rest in peace. Rest in peace. Bailey is my man, family friend that won all the money in Harlem, $300 million.
Starting point is 00:32:25 No way. Yeah. Damn, rest in peace. Rest in peace. Rest in peace to Bailey. And that's all I got. I'm not playing outstanding. It's a lot of death.
Starting point is 00:32:35 I feel like I forgot a death, too. I went to a funeral Monday. Did you? Sorry for your loss, man. Started getting older, yo. Just started. Yeah. It's different, y'all. Just start. Yeah. It's different.
Starting point is 00:32:48 But go ahead. He don't like when emotions on him. I hate him. Does anybody here know I hate him? I just hate him. He said it a couple of times. I just went to a funeral Monday, man. Yeah, as you get older, you realize you're losing everybody.
Starting point is 00:33:02 But carry on with the show. He has no just... What? Can y'all as podcasters one day tell him how that is? What's the difference in, yo, yeah, my man Bailey, 300 million, rest in peace, Bailey? His tonality
Starting point is 00:33:19 was different first. You know, he was, you know, you could feel it. And, and, and... It's too early in the show for your pom-poms to come out. We know, you could feel it. Listen, it's too early in the show for your pom-poms to come out. We closed, rest in peace. His tonality was different. You asked.
Starting point is 00:33:30 That's not pom-pom when he answered your question. You can't do that. Why you gotta insult niggas? See what I'm saying? Like, stop. We good. We great.
Starting point is 00:33:38 We're everybody but Simba. Why would I insult him? That's my man. Of course that's your man. Yeah. Simba not my man? I don't know. You tell me. Of course. What's your, Es Somebody not my man I don't know You tell me
Starting point is 00:33:46 Of course Eskimo brothers Yo I know I hate I know I hate it I just hate it again
Starting point is 00:33:53 Big time Moving right along Moving right along Where would y'all like to begin Wanna start with music Let's get music out the way Jack Harlow Jack Harlow
Starting point is 00:34:02 Jack Harlow Jack Harlow Has put out a sneaky album was it really is it really an album when it's 24 minutes long is that an album or is that an ep yeah that's an album okay today now it's an hour they changed the ruling and definitions and all i had this fight when daytona dropped and i lost okay it's an album okay so the word on the street is it's like it's it's redeemed him it's that's it's it's that i always skim through it and i wouldn't go that far on the street let's start from niggas who heard it that's what i want
Starting point is 00:34:33 to say i skimmed through i wasn't blown away or excited particularly but i might not be the demo you're exactly the demo i was gonna say who's the demo if it's not you? Parks is not the demo. Parks is definitely not the demo. I'm joking, but Parks is not the demo. No way. Parks ain't the demo. Parks almost 48. Who's the demo then?
Starting point is 00:34:51 28-year-olds? Younger. Younger than that. Younger women, I feel like. Yeah. Younger women. Yeah. I think the demo for Jack Harlow is 15 to 33.
Starting point is 00:35:04 I think the 33 is a little high. Might be. Yeah, but that would be the two different demos in the demo. Yeah. But yeah, I didn't, I played on the first song and when I saw how short, I don't like short records. I'm one of those. Like, I get it. You're playing the algorithm game and all of that.
Starting point is 00:35:27 But when I heard the first record, I was just like, okay, it's cool. Next thing I know, it's over. I don't really. So it's short songs and a short list. It's 10 songs. It's 10 songs, but like track one was like a minute and 30 seconds or something like that. Is that even a song?
Starting point is 00:35:42 Today, yes. Because everybody got short attention spans. Don't nobody want to hear a long record no more like your record is three minutes long they like this is ridiculous we don't want to hear the shit what did you think of the project um i didn't hear the whole project i'm saying i got through maybe two three records and then i cut that off and put something else on you got it it just it didn't do it for me i typed jack harlow's name in my itunes store and still didn't see no new project. What time did you go in? That shit was soon as-
Starting point is 00:36:08 Four hours ago? It was up there. The picture and everything. As soon as you opened the iTunes store, it was right there. That's what they were promoting. But my algorithm probably don't put all that hip-hop shit in my shit.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Watch this. I'll open it right now and tell you what's right there. That shit was on the main screen at midnight. Want me to read you mine? Yeah, sure. Oh, no. All genres. Now it's here.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah. This was not here. It's called Jackman. This just got here. Because I saw it. Like I said, I was on caffeine at midnight. And I was like, all right, yo, let's listen to the new music that dropped. And bam.
Starting point is 00:36:42 All right, let me give this a quick breeze. It ain't but 20 minutes. Listen to the new music that dropped in. All right, let me give this a quick breeze. It ain't but 20 minutes. All right. You lost me again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Hey. Okay. Cool. Okay. Here you go. All right. You got it. You got it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Hey girl Alright, you got it, you got it No airports and no flights, this how I wanna live my life, is that alright? Ten girlfriends and no- Shut up, nigga
Starting point is 00:37:32 Ride for my dogs, live Thunder Ooh, why This ever had to be Production don't sound bad Yeah, beats don't sound bad He can rap well don't sound bad. Production don't sound bad. He can rap well. He don't talk about shit that I don't care about.
Starting point is 00:37:49 That is fresh. And it goes. Walking past a homeless in a Rolex. Just got off the stage on a Today show and I basically felt soulless. Years go by and I keep saying I'm going to use my phone less. My homeboy just beat cancer. I call my. Basically fell soulless years go by and I keep saying I'm gonna use my phone less but My homeboy just be cancer I call my It must be my skin. I can't think of any other reason not win. I can't think of an explanation
Starting point is 00:38:16 It can't be the years of work I put in it can't be the way that I've stuck with the same friends It can't be the swag I got when I walk in it can't be What was that? That wasn't bad right there. This is track 9, Blame On Me. There's 10 tracks on here. He'll get a purchase out of me. Production sounds amazing to me. There's a little bit of shit on there.
Starting point is 00:38:53 There's some on there. Like I said, I just cut it off. I'm going to buy this project because I heard enough for me to want to buy it. But this is weird. This is weird. Let me read the... I need more information. Let me read the thingamajiggy. Jack Harlow's naysayers had their chance but oh brother but rest assured that the louisville that the louisville bread rapper now controls the conversation blessed with
Starting point is 00:39:14 immaculate hip-hop production jack man reinforces his uh status as the confident appealing artist who crushed it on come home with the kids miss you uh miss you more than cognizant of the loaded white rapper label they don't love it flip flips to the fuck is he doing here that's why this is crushed it on Come Home With The Kids Miss You More Than Cognizant of the Loaded White Rapper label They Don't Love It flips to what the fuck is he doing here that's why this is weird
Starting point is 00:39:30 to me cause he just sold way too many records and they put way too much money in him just now and he did alright
Starting point is 00:39:36 this feels like it's trying to be his rapper album yeah that's what I was gonna say maybe he's kinda good though
Starting point is 00:39:42 he does not bad I don't like like I said I don't like like I said I don't like what he talks about on a lot of them but some of the ones towards the end sounded dope yeah
Starting point is 00:39:48 I think it was like 7 or 8 whatever that shit was fire I can have some shit on this shout out to Jack I'm definitely gonna check it out still seems weird this is weird
Starting point is 00:40:03 I mean even if it performed well they could have heard the conversation what i said about the big album uh just this last album even if you're doing this style album and you dj dramas artists don't it just seem like it should be more noise um if drama said one word on here there would be more noise again i feel like he was just trying to prove a rapper point with this more so than make a huge commercial success. And I'm sure it will be a commercial success. He's reached that point where people are going to go buy and listen to his shit regardless. No, he didn't.
Starting point is 00:40:38 I ain't jacking that shit. That is not true. I don't agree with that, but that what I just heard, that interests me. You don't think that's going to turn very hot next week? You don't think that's going to chart very high next week? You don't think that's going to land in the top five? Of albums or albums in the genre? Either. No.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Okay, we'll see. Well, no. Maybe rapper albums. Yeah, rap albums I would expect. But ain't no rapper albums dropped. I don't know what the last albums are still doing. Some of them, shit's just charting pretty high. I don't know, but I know you have to. Some of them, she's just charting pretty high. I don't know,
Starting point is 00:41:05 but I know you have to spend money to get a return, and this is silent. This is quiet, so I would be interested to see. This sound like less than 30,000 copies. No. And that's me shooting high.
Starting point is 00:41:16 No. No. No way. All right, let's see. Never. We shall see. Bet it. Let's bet.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Let's put a bet on it. Come on, you don't pay your bets. Stop it. Stop it. Just don't. Why do you keep saying that? Because you don't pay your bets because you don't pay your bets you don't pay but why do you keep saying that who y'all and when we talk to you behind the scenes y'all everybody is like no because you have outstanding debts for bets that you've made that you haven't made that says implore what are the bets come on
Starting point is 00:41:38 how many you want me to name whatever you want you bet me on on the Dallas Giants game. How much I owe you? All in all? Yes, how much do I owe you? About $1,500. That's cool. $1,500. Do you have cash up on your hand? Absolutely. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:41:56 You said that last time. You didn't say that last time. Because normally when you make bets, but normally when you make bets, But normally when you make bets, you see people outside so you can have that exchange. I keep seeing this nigga at work and he keep talking about a bet. Come outside.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Come outside with me. Come outside with me. Come outside with me. You can't do that. You can't put a stipulation on me. No, we have work. We have work. You think I'm here to work? You can't put a stipulation on it. We don't say that. We don't say that. You think I'm here to worry about paying a bet at work?
Starting point is 00:42:31 You are wrong. Are you crazy? I'm glad everybody here is listening to this bullshit justification. Yo, typically you see a nigga outside. Isn't that from like three months ago? From January 24th. Wait, from what? Calling our girls. From January 24th. Wait, from what? Calling our girls.
Starting point is 00:42:47 From what? I remember that shit. From all of that. Calling our girls. And then he said, it wasn't even about that. Advance the conversation, please. Calling exes. Calling exes, I think is what it was.
Starting point is 00:42:55 It was calling our girls. I never copped to that. Yes, you did. That was for on-air purposes. Nigga, I'm paying him for calling his ex. What's up? You took a break. No, that wasn't for calling an ex.
Starting point is 00:43:04 What are you talking about? That wasn't for calling an ex I'm not paying y'all niggas to work. What? Yep. Don't get in the blood. Yo, Joe's crazy. So to answer your question, no, we won't bet it. Yeah, I would love to bet it. A friendly bet. A friendly bet. No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:43:36 What does the bet come with, though? Like, this nigga bets me different. He got stipulation. You got to come outside. And see me spending money on your pay? Yes, you have to come outside to get paid. That's crazy. That's some C-load shit, nigga.
Starting point is 00:43:48 I know. I know. Anyway. He's standing on it. I've seen this nigga twice. I'm standing on it. I'm standing on it. You gotta go outside to get paid.
Starting point is 00:43:57 I'm standing on it. Is that a real rule, bro? No, nigga. That's a Joe rule. That's not no rule nowhere. That's a real rule. In his brain. That's a real rule, though.
Starting point is 00:44:04 He made it up. Wait, wait, wait. You gotta read the fine print of this shit. If you're spending. It's a Joe rule. That's not no rule nowhere in his brain. That's a real rule though. He made it up. Wait, wait, wait. You got to read the fine print of this shit. If you're spending, he's saying that if he's spending money and I'm throwing money around, that's when you can get paid for your bet? No, it's not. I'm not saying you have to catch me in the act of spending money. I'm saying anywhere that's not work, you'll get paid.
Starting point is 00:44:23 So the wild part, hey, look. He's trying to get paid. Hey, flip.. He keep coming to work trying to get paid. Hey, flip. The wild part is it makes sense to him. It makes all the sense in the world to me. That's the wild part. He's not even joking. So we should not make the bet at work anyway. We should make the bet outside the work to get paid.
Starting point is 00:44:35 There you go. If we make the bet at work, it's just work purposes. We just betting for pardon. Yep. No. Nigga. Fuck no. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:44:44 What you talking about? Are there any more music? It's fine. This is okay. We can advance this. Fuck no. What you talking about? Are there any more music? It's fine. This is okay. We can advance this. What else do we have? Niggas don't want to pay. Miguel dropped some shit.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Now I ain't paying this nigga neither. Miguel, you said? Miguel dropped some shit. Miguel, I have a bone to pick with Miguel. Last week, Miguel announced that a single was dropping this week and I'm a Miguel fan so thank you that's awesome I look forward to hearing the single next week I also assume that in the last six years that you have not dropped music that you've been making some music so I don't think you really have the runway to announce when you're dropping a song.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Because it's been six fucking years. Just put some heat out. You can't do that after you take off six years. These artists today with this every album five year shit. You niggas. It pisses me off. I like it. Not the men personally.
Starting point is 00:45:39 I love Miguel. But all of this, y'all bougie ass niggas, I got to pray that I live to your next song release. You said you like that? I like it from certain artists, yeah. What? The announcement? The ones that take their time and craft it and give you heat every drop. I like it.
Starting point is 00:45:56 I don't rush them no more. Example? Kendrick. Okay. Example, Travis Scott. Example, J. Cole. These dudes don't rush every year to drop a project out. They let it push a T.
Starting point is 00:46:07 They put a project out and they let it breathe. And it ages well. And when they ready to come back, it'd be three, four, five years later, they come back with heat. I'm not mad at that. He's conflating my point. No, no, no, they just asked me about.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I know, but don't ask that shit while I'm making my point. Because he just named the creme de la creme. Exactly. My conversation is about everybody doing it. Miguel should not be doing this. Miguel is creme de la creme. Shut the fuck up. You don't think so?
Starting point is 00:46:34 In R&B, no. He wasn't certainly at one point. Yeah, he was. He was fire. He had a nice life. You asked me today in 2023, going into the summer, when he hasn't dropped a song or album in six years, is Miguel R&B, Crim De La Crim the answer?
Starting point is 00:46:49 No. We could be honest about things without it being a diss. How would he be the Crim De La Crim in R&B right now? His last project wasn't well-received. I know, because I was part of the person leading it. Where do y'all get this from? The last two really weren't the most well received Honestly, all right, so he lost it then. Okay carry on
Starting point is 00:47:09 Does here yeah, let's hear what Miguel did Can I go louder there we go Funky beat starts off a little... Cerebral. I wasn't sure where he was going with it. Shout out to Scoop DeVille, producer. up in your mind these days I know the sweet distraction might be what you need to know body on inferno inferno your mind on
Starting point is 00:47:53 my mind don't sound bad don't sound bad to let go to let yourself unwind you left I left we left you left All right, Miguel, go ahead and end with your best self.
Starting point is 00:48:11 That guitar from something. He plays guitar, so he might have put that on himself. It's not like he put it on himself. It's not like the tones that he usually uses. Yeah, I listened to it last night. I didn't love it, but listening to it today, I was like, okay, this ain't bad. It grows on you Yeah
Starting point is 00:48:25 It's okay It starts off a little cerebral Yeah it starts off Like you don't know Where the fuck it's gonna go Uh huh But then it just It is called
Starting point is 00:48:35 Give it to me Yeah I wasn't mad at it Yeah I don't think it's that bad It's a cool little I gotta hear it On a better system Than whatever Parks just did It's the Atmo shit too Sam fam parks that little shit always makes it quieter yeah
Starting point is 00:48:50 i don't want it i don't have a parks does on the engineering board is a blessing to artists so that shit don't sound right right here it ain't gonna sound right in your car or your house or no else that song is mad a five mad a five mediocrity at its finest for him to take off for six years and come back with that is not no until the guitar riffs came in i was about to go to sleep well i don't think that that i don't think that that's i don't think that this is his big single no it feels like a warm-up it feels like a warm-up to a bigger record coming later in the summer. In the local park. I caught the sample in my head. I got it.
Starting point is 00:49:31 That guitar part, Jay-Z had that shit. I mean, they're power chords, sir. What Jay-Z song is that? Help me. Yeah, I really wish y'all let the music be part of it. Nigga, for real. No, that guitar sound is from another. The way he played it, man.
Starting point is 00:49:45 Explain it, nigga. You a musician, help me figure it out. Don't put me on the ledge myself. It's a very common tone is the problem. I don't give a fuck. I got it. It sound like Jay-Z shit. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Thank you. I just can't. Yo, I love Flip, yo. I ain't gonna hold you, yo. Shout out to Miguel. Sound like he might be trying to get closer Back to that Kaleidoscope Dream bag Or hopefully
Starting point is 00:50:09 I hope so Also in new music Baby Rose album dropped And it's great Baby Rose is fire She's amazing That when I woke up and purchased it At three in the morning
Starting point is 00:50:24 I put the album on loop and went back to bed it's one of those i mean i didn't know she dropped i got you though i got you though oh she don't play she don't play all that aggressive tone chord weird She just got her own bop man. Shout out to Baby Rose Hey It go You're right Am I sinking it all out? Am I sinking it all out? Oh my god. This is craziness.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Yeah, it is. This is absolutely ridiculous. Oh, it is. It is. You're right. That shit is fire to me. It's a vibe. I know.
Starting point is 00:51:43 It's all the non-music people. Get y'all shit up. Nah, nah. This shit is trash. That shit is. Who me. I know. It's all the non-music people. Get y'all some of that. Nah, nah. This shit is trash. That shit is. Who the fuck is Baby Rose? That's some Darls Barkley-esque. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Keep all that shit in there. Yeah. Fuck out of here. That shit was not it. They sitting here like, I think Miguel should have came out with that. And Miguel would have jumped on that. We might have had some fire. I'm bigging up Baby Rose I know
Starting point is 00:52:07 an artist that has been killing to me an artist that is unique in her bag and we've been waiting for a Baby Rose project I don't shit on all the things that Ice plays
Starting point is 00:52:18 that are trash yeah you do so if we want to play this no you do no I don't no you do I like that track I like the way it came on
Starting point is 00:52:24 and everything. I'm looking at, okay, this is what Miguel should have did to me. Yeah. Yeah, I don't disagree. I was waiting for the right time What's it come to me I was hoping you could stay around Think of how it could feel Oh boy
Starting point is 00:53:09 Pacing back and forth in my mind Wonder how you feel Yo, if you listen out there, this whole album is a groove like this Can we close the gap between us? Can I be with you, me? To me? Uh-uh. No, I forgot.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Ooh. You know the more I love you, the more I love you. Can we close the gap between us? Can I be with you, me? To me? But I do admit, well, I will admit that you have to be into music to be in there. I'll say that. I'll say that. It's a little alternative.
Starting point is 00:53:51 It's abstract. It's not cookie cutter shit that you're used to. Yeah, it's not. Her face and her look, like they don't, I never would have thought that her voice would sound like it does with the way she looks. You know, she looks like a, she's beautiful. She looks like a, you know, like an R&B songstress and her voice kind of, I don't know. It makes me think of like Nina Simone almost. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Yeah. That's what she gives me. And I love that. I love that. I'm a, I'm a fan. Yeah. No, me too. Childhood baby Rose.
Starting point is 00:54:22 I feel like, is she Canadian? Her record label is called Secretly Canadian, which I feel like you should be signed there. Because you are secretly Canadian. She's not secretly. I'm not secret about it at all. Shout out to the T-Dot. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:54:42 She said that. Y'all just gonna let alright that's what they call it and that is the end of our music section yeah yeah that's it for music great
Starting point is 00:54:54 no more there's no more music yeah no more music I was happy for Baby Rose it wasn't a lot of music that came out with her let me say that
Starting point is 00:55:02 that is always good though when the one you know they don't get lost in the noise. I saw someone, I think it was a dude, and I apologize for forgetting his name, from DJ Booth, talking about they might move back to Tuesdays for release dates. Some people already started. I was going to say, some people did that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:20 I think now they just, I be seeing Wednesday drops. Like, people are just going. just going Oh yeah they'll drop whatever On an independent level But if the whole I would like the whole industry To shift back to Tuesday Friday's kind of a shitty day To drop music
Starting point is 00:55:33 It really is Cause you can't digest it You don't care But the weekend You're not going to play Some new shit You're going to play Slaps with the homies
Starting point is 00:55:41 In the hoes Back on When it dropped When albums dropped on tuesday there was more thought into how do you get fans to listen to your album now you're just trying to get fans to buy your album or stream your song you don't really know how much they're listening to it right you think that'll change now i think that's what the time is period they made the switch initially because more people got paid on Fridays.
Starting point is 00:56:07 So the thought process was people can take their paycheck and go buy albums. But now that everyone's paying for streaming and this shit just comes out whenever it comes out of your bank account, it don't matter what day of the week it is. I was told it was them lining up with the European release schedule.
Starting point is 00:56:21 I was about to say, that's a dumbass reason. That's what I was told. So to maximize on shit we're going to drop Fridays when everybody across the world drops. Nation wide. No, worldwide.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Worldwide. That makes sense. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. It's probably a little bit of both. Yeah, but I'm with Parks. If album drop on Friday you know how many albums I have in my phone
Starting point is 00:56:40 that I've purchased that I don't know what's on them? Same. Same. And I don't really see a foreseeable window where I'm getting to that album. Same. It's tough to get
Starting point is 00:56:52 back to music. Yeah. Now, like if you don't have a slap or some slaps on your album that's making me go listen to it a month after it came out, two months after it came out, if it's not a grower. And again, I know that's not their focus, but as a consumer, it's not a grower and again i know that's not their focus but yeah they don't as a consumer it's just like we the afterthoughts though in that sense they don't
Starting point is 00:57:11 like they just want them numbers not for nothing for for reviewers people like us it's harder to even digest the shit like if it drops on tuesday you got the whole quiet work week to kind of take it in that's true when it drops fr, we don't got time to listen to it and by the time the new week comes around, By the time your weekend is rolled around, you're not even going to discuss it. Yeah. Yeah, not at all.
Starting point is 00:57:32 So, you wrote up here about Red Table Talk being canceled. Yeah, so... All Facebook originals. Yeah. So, Facebook announced that it was dropping all of its original programming and one of their biggest shows was Red Table Talk. obviously they're looking for a new home but I mean I don't know what that means in terms of like what's happening over at meta Facebook maybe you guys know what
Starting point is 00:57:57 this means but a lot of people looked at that as like an opportunity to you know rather than getting into the podcasting game you know and not getting on streaming doing facebook i don't understand like that seems like a massive move to remove all its original programming it probably just didn't work for them the way that they learned it to work so they're trying something else i mean they seem to be moving off of the metaverse shit too right i don't i don't see as much emphasis over there right now. I mean, they might have just set up their little infrastructure
Starting point is 00:58:27 and gonna come back to it. Yeah, I'm sure. I don't know. But it looks to me like this is just in line with all of the other layoffs. Everybody's finding a way to save some money now. We invested in this. It didn't do what we think it did.
Starting point is 00:58:40 So we're gonna just cut that. Or the numbers fell. Because for a minute, their numbers were high. But I'm saying in general, the whole, overall, the entire original programming thing, they might have had a window. In this amount of time, five years, however many years, we want to see this.
Starting point is 00:58:54 We didn't do it. It's just like some of these other companies that invested a bunch of money in podcasters. Podcasts. Podcasts. I corrected myself. My English teacher listening, she would curse me the fuck out. But yeah, it's like you invest know, you invest these monies,
Starting point is 00:59:07 these monies into these things, and it don't work. Do we care that Red Table Talk is canceled? I mean, I don't. I don't think that this is the demographic. I care. Fuck Red Table Talk. Disrespected Will, Demoralize My Man, one of the greatest actors.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Fuck out of here. What? Get out of here. You do know. Canceled. You do know who is on Red Table Talk, right? His mother-in-law, his wife, and his daughter. So, I'm not saying.
Starting point is 00:59:36 They're all falling for his shock shit. It's not shock. I really feel that way. You feel like, fuck them. Not the people, the show. I feel like it embarrassed him when he was up there crying looking crazy that was the start
Starting point is 00:59:46 of his downfall to me when they was talking about that shit with the homies he was smashing. That was one of my favorite episodes.
Starting point is 00:59:55 I mean Will had to agree to go on the show. That was one of their favorite episodes too. Trust. That was a great episode. That's where we got the word entanglement.
Starting point is 01:00:02 It turned when we watched Will crying for his father on Fresh Prince of, you know, that to what he looked like now and all the great movies he did. And then after that episode, he looked crazy. Come on, we know that. The memes and stuff like that. Look what that shit did. Come on. Y'all want to just be in niggas' business.
Starting point is 01:00:20 He looked crazy. He did look crazy. He looked real crazy. That was the start. That whole shit started. But there was a point in time in which he would... We're talking about Jada Pinkett Smith's venture without Will Smith and the canceling of it.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Can y'all talk about that? It's not really a Will Smith topic. I'm agreeing. Red Table Talk was super popular. They're going to find a home. That's what I'm saying.'re gonna find a home very very quickly you know you don't think so
Starting point is 01:00:47 how do y'all yeah how do y'all say all the techie people are firing people and then y'all say oh they're gonna find a home quickly how do both things
Starting point is 01:00:53 bring true for y'all I think a company that is more focused on media would be interested in having something with the star power that that show has Hulu yeah
Starting point is 01:01:01 name it Hulu Tubi. Name a streaming service. Y'all just talking about your ass. I know y'all don't want to go down this road,
Starting point is 01:01:10 but I totally disagree with you. I think that the Jada Pinkett Smith name was valuable at a point. And I think they based everything on that. And I think that the controversial shit
Starting point is 01:01:20 that they were doing was the thing that was bringing in the numbers. And once that controversy left, they hit the ground. That's what I think. And I don't think that with the money that they might be looking for, another media outlet is just going to be rushing to the door to give them that because the return is not guaranteed.
Starting point is 01:01:38 What are they going to do with themselves? I don't know how much it costs to run that show. I imagine a red table is not so expensive. I don't know what it costs. To your numbers point, yeah, I don't know how successful they were with every drop, and I don't know how often
Starting point is 01:01:53 they dropped. I only know about the big click-baity episodes. It was weekly. Oh, what? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, we canceled them. I didn't know that. I'm canceling you if that's a weekly show. But this is not an indictment against them. If you're laying off all these employees and you're slowing down on Oculus and you're slowing down.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Like, if you've been slowing down on all these other things, this was next. This was next. I mean, all the big boys are laying off. All of the big boys. Everybody. They just canceled Vice News tonight, man. That was my shit. They did what?
Starting point is 01:02:27 Canceled Vice News tonight. They canceled Vice News. And laid off a bunch of people as well. That was a great news program. Wow. This is tough out here. Bam, Clubhouse just announced that they are laying off half of their employees. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:02:44 So it's only three people in there. Oh, they went from six to three. Oh, my God. But I'm just saying, like, everywhere you look, all you're reading is layoffs, cancellations, terminations. Is this the rise of AI? It's all economic shit, bro. The first thing you do when you are a company in peril or jeopardy is you cut expenses
Starting point is 01:03:07 your highest expenses most for most companies is but we're seeing companies that we know aren't in peril do the same thing yeah it's amazon your stuff it's face their definition of peril and ours is different though yeah exactly okay. Okay. You tell the stockholders that we're not in peril. Peril? Not peril, but for some people, maintaining is not profitable. I think an element that happened was there was a big rush, especially for streaming services, to get a bunch of people creating content there to get people to subscribe to these services.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Peacock, et cetera. All the companies, all the networks, all the companies in the world, media companies, started an app to get subscribers there. In order to do that, you got to have something new and different. And they brought people in to do that and it either worked out and they're laying people off
Starting point is 01:04:00 or it didn't work out and they're laying people off. Peacock is an example of success and CNN Plus is an example of epic failure. I'm not sure which are successful. Me either. It's also different stages. When you first drop, it might be more successful. You got people rushing over to watch
Starting point is 01:04:15 Friends or whatever and oh, Bel Air's here too. Awesome. What happens in two years? And the state of the world is just a little different today than it was three and four years ago i don't think that layoffs have so much to do with well necessarily have to have so much to do with the state of the company rather than the state of the world that's a fact that we're all sitting around i want to serious but watching shit that's what i think i think that people
Starting point is 01:04:40 are bracing for the possibilities of what's to come. And in doing that, we're going to try to save money now. When I'm talking to companies out there, they are putting clauses and they're putting wording in this contract
Starting point is 01:04:54 that protects them from the artists that have just been getting over year after year on them. Like, that's over with now. All you niggas that was running,
Starting point is 01:05:04 when y'all was getting scammer money and everybody, the line was long in Gucci and all the techie shit, the stocks was going up, everybody was balling, big booming, buying eggs, toilet tissue, we was wilding outside. At some point, that had to come to an end. The mall is a little less crowded today. The supermarket is a little less crowded today. The supermarket is a little less crowded today.
Starting point is 01:05:25 These things, these areas are not affected, and the big boys don't take notice and move accordingly. That's why they're the big boys. Just my opinion. Speaking of mall, real quick, speaking of mall, Paramus, for my Jersey people out there, Garden State Mall has implemented a new rule, and I love it.
Starting point is 01:05:45 On weekends, if you are under 18, you must be with a parent or guardian to get your ass in there. I like that. I'm kind of here for that. Yeah, I like that. I love it. I'm going to clap for that. I love it. I couldn't be happier.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Y'all kids is bad as fuck. Y'all kids is bad as fuck. They in there breaking windows, throwing rocks at the Shake Shack window, robbing shit, stealing, beating people up on the weekends. Them folk ain't playing with y'all there. Hey, y'all the wrong place to do that shit.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Y'all better take that dad, Paramus, after the fool like that. No, no, no. Old ghetto ass niggas. Y'all the wrong place. Hell no. Go take that shit to... I ain't gonna say it. Elizabeth Owletts.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Yeah. I wasn't gonna diss him. They better go somewhere. Take that shit to Hudson ain't gonna say it Elizabeth Owlet Yeah I wasn't gonna diss him Better go somewhere Take that shit to Hudson Mall Yeah Hudson Mall My bad Just stomping ground Strike one And it wasn't my fault
Starting point is 01:06:35 You good? You cool? What were you saying Parks? I was just gonna say To your point of The world is different Yeah we were all sitting around Doing nothing but watching our phones
Starting point is 01:06:44 Watching TV Because we couldn't go outside Yeah I was watching D-Nice, to your point of the world is different. Yeah, we were all sitting around doing nothing but watching our phones, watching TV because we couldn't go outside. Yeah, I was watching D-Nice and Tory Lanez. You were. Dead ass. And that was valuable then. Is it valuable today when you can go actually do some shit? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:58 That's the reason we ain't had a Versus yet. I love this, though. I love this. There was too many niggas that was whack getting money. Facts. Fucking up the fuck. It was a cesspool. It just,
Starting point is 01:07:08 you, and you'd be compelled to watch some of that bullshit and then it's bullshit and now you just waste a bunch of time watching some trash. I'm saying something bad again?
Starting point is 01:07:17 Yeah, you are. But it's cool. Keep it moving. But what? It's all right. But tell me what though. You said,
Starting point is 01:07:22 yo, you was happy at a whole bunch of niggas out here getting money. You said it was too much whack niggas what though. You said, yo, you was happy at a whole bunch of niggas out here getting money. You said it was too much whack niggas getting money. Getting money, yeah. What them niggas eat, man? They did.
Starting point is 01:07:32 There you go. Now the time is over. Now the time is over. Now they hiding from the law. Hey, y'all going to jail. There still ain't nobody talking about their taxes. April came and went. This was literally the brightest taxes ever.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Y'all are going to jail, all of you criminals. Oh, shit. Whatever. That ain't right, though. Clubhouse tried to sneak their layoff announcement out there. That might give a fuck who y'all laid off, nigga. We surprised y'all. Let me stop.
Starting point is 01:08:03 What else? What else is happening out here? Well, we were talking about tech companies and shit. Y'all been seeing this whole blue check drama that's been happening over on Twitter? Yeah. So they took away all the legacy check marks. Yes. So none of us have them anymore unless you pay.
Starting point is 01:08:19 And wasn't it like 28 people tried to buy blue check marks? 28 people tried to buy it check marks? What was it? 28 people tried to buy it? Yeah. Like they thought that it was going to be like thousands of, like hundreds of thousands of millions of people were going to like, oh my God, I need my blue check mark. I definitely did not feel that way.
Starting point is 01:08:34 I bought mine. But I didn't buy it for the check mark. Why did you buy it? Because I saw. For customer service. No, no, no. You about to give us the Ian spiel? No, no.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Ian went viral off that motherfucker. I saw that. But no Honestly no Like a dick Anything that offers me less ads or no ads You got my money Okay
Starting point is 01:08:53 That's the easiest way to get me Okay Two ways Offer me less ads slash no ads And give me a yearly price Where I can just pay it once And not have to worry about it no more How much that shit cost?
Starting point is 01:09:05 For the year? For the year. Like 80. Twitter could suck my dick. But I hate ads. Like, I really have a thing against ads. And you use Twitter a lot.
Starting point is 01:09:16 I ain't paying for that shit. I done fucked all the girls off Twitter. I wanted to fuck them. Fuck, I need to be authentic for them. Too late for that one cause I'm new here I don't know about her
Starting point is 01:09:28 the blue check is important in monetization but if I can't monetize the blue check I don't give a fuck like I said I didn't do it for the check it's just you pay for it
Starting point is 01:09:36 I subscribed to Twitter Blue prior to that you got it playboy and then they switched the shit over they was like yo if you subscribed before we don't care
Starting point is 01:09:44 now you to resubscribe and get into this price. All right, whatever. Just give me the less ads. I hate ads. Anything I get, any game, any streaming service,
Starting point is 01:09:53 the first thing I look for is no ads, yearly price. You got me. All right, we got it, bro. My brother. No, but I'm just saying I watch...
Starting point is 01:10:00 Oh, they was on your ads too, huh? No. Oh, okay. I don't even know Twitter no more. That's the funny shit. I'm not even on Twitter no more I don't go in there Cause I hate the app I hate the
Starting point is 01:10:10 The Official Twitter app I just can't use it So then why bother Getting the check mark I bought I bought this shit before
Starting point is 01:10:17 Oh Got it I paid for the year It's already done I can't go back and say Yo get my money back now I don't It is what it is
Starting point is 01:10:25 got it so you won't be re-upping no absolutely not so then why the hell do you lead with it anytime you want money from me just give me a year
Starting point is 01:10:32 because if it's something I use Joe I was using it and I don't use it no more that's all it is okay it's just like any other you said Netflix before
Starting point is 01:10:41 like you unsubscribe you said you unsubscribe from stars if they gave you an ad versus an ad-free version, you'd probably take the ad-free version. Always. I'm with you on that.
Starting point is 01:10:48 It's the exact same thing. I'm with you on that. That's all. But I'm watching people get so bent out of shape over it. Like, oh, you niggas. If them folks want to go buy them a blue check, let them. Who gives a shit? Why is it such a big deal?
Starting point is 01:11:03 That's my problem. I'm with you on that part. I don't give a fuck. If you bought it and that's what you wanted on your page, you did that. A lot of people
Starting point is 01:11:10 hate Elon Musk, maybe rightfully so for certain things. So a lot of people are just, I'm not buying the check because that's putting money in his pocket.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Yeah. He's not going to miss your $11, bro. I don't think he will. He's not going to miss it. What else we got? Sports? Are we there?
Starting point is 01:11:30 It's a lot of sports. It's a lot of sports. It's just so much sports. It is a lot of sports. Knicks in five. Knicks in five. In the heat, that's what you got?
Starting point is 01:11:41 Knicks in five. Knicks in six really but Knicks in five because I put it in a rap song before. Nixon 5, yo. That's it. Ain't nothing to talk about. We're better.
Starting point is 01:11:52 We're deeper. We're just better, man. It's going to be good. Home crowd in Miami. Our second playoff series win in 20 years. That got to feel good, though. That part right there got to feel good. Well, it feels good because I remember every year.
Starting point is 01:12:10 I remember all of the years. Pablo Prigioni, Charles Smith. I remember drafting John Wallace. I remember Frank Weiss, Vince Duncan on him in the Olympics, Derek Harper, I was there for Glenn Rice on the Knicks, Vin Baker on the Knicks. I remember everything, so this feels good. The two people I'm happy for is you and Cass, because y'all have been there through it all, Nick fans. I saw somebody say the other day, they was like, yo, Nick fans are like Cowboy fans.
Starting point is 01:12:51 I'm like, no, they're not. Cowboy fans swear every year is their year. Nick fans know we don't have a shot. Let's take now. But they still just rock with their squad. They got that Nick pride. Well, and the Cowboys have won in my lifetime, multiple times. So I don't even look at Nick fans and Cowboy fans.
Starting point is 01:13:09 Cowboys was a dynasty. You had a team and had an owner that was dedicated to winning, whether you agreed with how you went about it or not. The Knicks, for a long time, organizationally, were just trash and bad. It didn't seem like the owner was trying to put, ever since, yeah, I go back to the old Dolan. This is a new Dolan. I keep having to remember that.
Starting point is 01:13:28 Ever since the new Dolan got in, he never wanted to hire basketball minds. Why would you? You are one of the most valuable sports franchises while you're losing. You're going to sell out. You're going to sell out regardless. Financial capital of the world, y'all going to sell out.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Y'all have location. Corporate tickets, y'all got a location. Yeah, that that wasn't his focus. Financial capital of the world. Y'all going to sell out. Y'all have location. Corporate tickets. Y'all got to look. Yeah, that's right. So to see where we are now, and again, I talk about where we are as an organization, not just as a team on the floor. We are well coached. We are deep. We are young and youthful. We have mad draft picks.
Starting point is 01:14:03 We got veterans. Like the Knicks, the Knicks are all right, man man I'm happy for them I'm proud of them and as crazy as you want to call me I do see a viable pathway to the finals now do I think that they'll get there probably not but crazier things have happened crazier things have happened and it looks like one of those wacky, wacky playoffs is happening now. Just like the bubble. Just like in the bubble. It looked like a wacky playoffs is happening right now. This playoffs is nuts.
Starting point is 01:14:33 I love it, though. Congratulations to the Knicks fans out there. Salute. Game one tomorrow, Sunday. You already know the vibes. And that's that. But back to the playoffs as a whole. Your team's out, right?
Starting point is 01:14:48 Cleveland? I'm a Laker fan. Wasn't he going for Cleveland? He was. Every year. I was rooting for Cleveland versus the Lakers. He's secretly a Cleveland fan. He's a Cleveland fan on the low.
Starting point is 01:14:56 Okay. I was rooting for Cleveland against the Knicks, but I'm a Laker fan. He's spoken better about the Cavs than he has about the Lakers This entire time that I've been asking him about the Cavs That's the funny part People take fandom And because I'm a fan of a team That don't mean I'm not realistic So if my team ain't shit
Starting point is 01:15:16 I'm the person to come in here and say my team ain't shit A lot of people will be like Yo my team we gonna win Your team is 1-14 As far as basketball I've been egregiously bad. That's your opinion. And you're reading the comments. I don't read the comments.
Starting point is 01:15:29 It's all right, bro. What I'm saying is this. You picked the Cavs in five against the Knicks. You picked the Cavs last year to go to the Eastern Conference Finals. I mean, to the NBA finals. I did not. I picked Atlanta. I didn't pick the Cavs.
Starting point is 01:15:39 I picked Atlanta last year. OK, OK. Yo, what I'm saying, I don't ride the wave. Why you don't own your badness, though? Like, it I'm saying, I don't ride the wave. Why you don't own your badness though? I just said. Like it don't take nothing away from you
Starting point is 01:15:48 as a man. Who said I'm not owning it? If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I said the Knicks, they beat the Cavs. I picked the Cavs prior to. That's the thing with picking something.
Starting point is 01:15:58 You picking it prior to, you going to stand on what you pick. Oh shit, I didn't know what picking mean. No, but you'll come in here and make an excuse as to why you ain't really mean it. That was condescending. Yo, I didn't know what you were picking me. No, but you'll come in here and make an excuse
Starting point is 01:16:05 as to why you ain't really mean it. That was condescending. You know, I didn't think the Giants was going to do nothing. No, you was... Anyway, what I'm saying is this. I'm a Laker fan. I did pick Cleveland to win.
Starting point is 01:16:14 I thought Cleveland were the more talented team. They just got bullied out. They played soft. I had to ask him last part to say something positive about the Lakers. Anything.
Starting point is 01:16:23 It took a while. It ain't really much to say positive. It was a 3-1. Give me predictions for the game. They up 3-2 and they have a home game. You talk me through what that home game is going to look like.
Starting point is 01:16:37 The Lakers are iffy. I don't put much stake in some of the shit that the Lakers are doing. The Lakers are iffy. I don't know who watches basketball. The Lakers could lose every single game. We play streaky.
Starting point is 01:16:51 I'm not super duper happy with where we stand. I think that Memphis could beat us tomorrow. So you don't... I tell the truth. What can I say? No, I'm not saying you don't tell the truth. I'm saying, do you feel good about going into the game? Does his voice sound like he feels good?
Starting point is 01:17:06 No, like, dog, it's game six. We've given these young boys some hope that they can beat us. They out here showing their ass. Sports is a game of momentum. And now Memphis has the momentum. They have confidence that they can beat us. They don't give a fuck about Bron. They don't care about AD.
Starting point is 01:17:21 They don't care about the names. They showing their ass. So, honestly, if it was 2-2 I don't think they gonna beat us two games in a row but they have a shot okay I'm a Laker fan though till I die but I can still tell the truth about my team I'm just sitting here pissed at Atlanta and get the job done I needed that they weren't gonna get the job done I did not want to play that couch I just didn't want to play Boston that's all I'm a sixer I see a viable path for the Knicks getting to the finals what viable path is that nigga mr. photo got the ring and Lord of the Rings that ain't shit you want me to answer the question
Starting point is 01:18:02 bro all right you you hate the Knicks? Yo you be wrong He just sit there talking And be wrong When you wrong You just gotta shut the fuck up Sometimes You wanted the Knicks
Starting point is 01:18:12 You couldn't be No not about the Lakers I'm talking about the Knicks You can say what you want About your team That's your team But when we get to the Knicks You have been worse than wrong
Starting point is 01:18:20 So all of that Knicks sass While we in the playoffs While we in the second round Let me tell you the viable path. Already beat Miami three out of four times. I said that already. We've also beat Boston three out of four times already. And we do pretty well against teams that we match up well with.
Starting point is 01:18:36 I don't think that's Philly because Embiid is Embiid. But Embiid, like I've been saying, is one fragile fall away. And if that fall happens, you don't think, I think the Knicks healthy could beat the Sixers? Fuck yeah. I don't know what the NBA
Starting point is 01:18:50 is trying to do with adding some parody, but it feels more parody than I've ever, than I can remember. It's the most parody in 10 plus years. It's more than I can ever remember.
Starting point is 01:19:03 I'm agreeing with that. Like when niggas was hype about the Kings being up two nothing against the Warriors, that felt like parody. I like the parody of it. Me too. Is it unrealistic? Hey, maybe I'll give that to you,
Starting point is 01:19:14 but I can see a path. And if it would happen, like we said, this is a wacky playoffs. This would be the one where just some, the stars align and them fuckers go and do it. Dog, I was there in 99 when the Knicks as an AFC went to the finals with no Patrick Ewing. Like, I've seen wacky things happen with the team before.
Starting point is 01:19:35 Now, speaking of Knicks, because one of those wacky things I was talking about was Miami taking care of business against Milwaukee. And I got laughed at every time I said it. And what do you know? Miami took care of business against Milwaukee. And I got laughed at every time I said it. And what do you know? Miami took care of business against Milwaukee and they went home. I watched that game. That was one of the better games that I've seen in the last 30 years.
Starting point is 01:19:56 Amazing. And everything that you thought could happen, like every time you thought the game was over and you said, but there's still a path for Miami to do X, Y. They did it. They did. Yep. I was on the phone. I was trying to, but there's still a path for Miami to do X, Y. They did it. They did. Yep. I was on the phone.
Starting point is 01:20:07 I was trying to go to the strip club. I was trying to leave at midnight. That game didn't end until 1240. Between overtime, the miraculous Jimmy Butler. That was crazy. That was crazy. Catch layup with.86. Falling down.
Starting point is 01:20:22 That was crazy. Yeah, it's crazy that Brooke Lopez wasn't in the game as a 7'4 center. Budenheiser really fucked that game up. All around the board. You don't let one man score close to 100 points in two games. Word. You don't. This nigga ain't fucking Kobe Bryant.
Starting point is 01:20:37 What the fuck are we talking about? What are the average for the series? Damn near 40. 37. Damn near 40. That's a mistake. That's a mistake on them. On Drew Holiday and Greek Freak, I don't want to hear all that good defense shit.
Starting point is 01:20:47 I don't want to hear that shit. That's coaching. You have defenders on that team. That's bad coaching. But anyway, dog, do you see who they had on the floor with Jimmy Butler in overtime and in the last? My Nixon five, yo. They don't even have nobody on the bench. All that Celeb Williams, Celeb Williams. Who else they got? Some other bunch. I don't see it. I don't even have nobody on the bench. All X, Celeb Williams, Collab Williams.
Starting point is 01:21:06 Who else they got? Some other bunch. I don't see it. I don't see it. I don't see it. But that game was great. Yeah, definitely. Tell me about what y'all think of Greek Freak's post-game press conference interview that everybody was talking about.
Starting point is 01:21:20 Where Eric, the reporter, said, do you view this season as a failure? Greek Freak had enough of his shit. He said, do you view this season as a failure? Greek freak had enough of his shit. He said, you asked me this last year. He stewed on that. That was one of them. He took a shower the next day and was like, damn, I should have said. And then he had this for the next year to plot his retort.
Starting point is 01:21:37 He looked like, what he looked like to me was, you know, they see these reporters all year long. And some of them you got a relationship with, you're cool with. He looked like, damn, not you. or you know the fuck-ass reporter he looked like it was oh not you or this is the fuck-ass reporter and today i'm going to tell him something what do you think of what he said though in terms of as far as there's no failing in sports he's right and he's wrong i see both sides yeah he's right and he's wrong. I see both sides. Yeah, he's right and he's wrong. And I've heard both sides.
Starting point is 01:22:06 I've heard Stephen A. Smith go against J. Will, and I also heard Shaq go against Kenny Smith. I see both sides. If you set out, and I hear athletes say this, I'm not a professional athlete, but a lot of athletes say championship or bust. A lot of athletes say basically if you don't win a championship, then your season was a bust.
Starting point is 01:22:30 I've heard them say that. I can't speak to their mentality, but I saw both sides. Shaq said basically if you're in that position, you're our number one seed. If you don't win a championship, you all fail. And that's why it's a failure. It'd be one thing if you're a team that's up and coming, like the Knicks, for example, if they were to go out in the next round,
Starting point is 01:22:48 which I don't think they will, you would still say this season is a success. We have built something. We're building up to something. The Bucs have won a championship. They've been a top five team for the past however many years. For them to go out in the first round is a failure. The people in Milwaukee going to hate me.
Starting point is 01:23:03 I always thought that they was fool's gold. Always. I wasn't too hyped on them. I was scared of them healthy. They're not even a team though. But that little, that little, that chip, let me shut up. I think it's based on what your expectations are.
Starting point is 01:23:20 You get what I'm saying? Like, so if you exceed your expectations, then niggas don't look at it like that. But if you underachieve, then people look at you like you failed. And I also look at it as, whatever you did, like if you improved on last year,
Starting point is 01:23:33 I don't see it as a failure. Whatever you got. Like last year, we didn't make the playoffs. This year, we made it. Season's not a failure. Like, we've improved. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:41 As long as you've made steps to get better, I don't look at it as a failure. I felt like his statement was mainly just, was about growth. You know? But they didn't grow. Yeah. So that's where he's wrong.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Yes, that's why it can be looked at both ways. For some people, his statement is absolutely right. For him and that team, his statement is not right. It resonated with who it was supposed to. Like it's going to be one of those things that's added to reels. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah, for sure. Somebody would have said, yo, if you ask Kobe Bryant that question,
Starting point is 01:24:12 we already know what the answer is going to be. If you ask Michael Jordan that question, you already know what the answer is going to be. So the greats look at it in a manner of, yo, either we won or we didn't, and if we didn't, we failed. So that wasn't champion talk. But the greats are also psychotic in the head. True.
Starting point is 01:24:27 But that's what makes them great for me. So that may not be how the rest of the world is. True. What's your stance? I agree with Greek Freak. So if the Joe Button podcast fell to 10th for the next six months, you wouldn't come in?
Starting point is 01:24:41 I can't hear what you said. If we did what? If the Joe Button podcast went to 10th, went to 7th, went to 5th for the next six months, you wouldn't come in here and act like, yo, we failing? I disagree. Well, you can't because I kind of went through that. Like, it's kind of happened.
Starting point is 01:25:00 Like, when y'all first came, and I'm not making this podcast review time, but when y'all first came, I viewed it as we in the middle of a rebuild. The fans were holding that team and that rebuilding process up against old crew at its peak, greatest in the world. They would look at that and say, oh, this is a failure. You have regressed. They did.
Starting point is 01:25:22 They did. I'm saying, but I just look at that as- I looked at it as i looked at it as give me the same amount of time with this squad and i think that we have the potential to be better than ever i think that was my psychotic brain so i agree with greek freak if in the process of the loss you pick something up that's going to further you next year or later or in that other championship, then that's a win. Hopefully. Then that's a win.
Starting point is 01:25:50 I think anything else would be short-sighted. I think it's apples to oranges. That particular analogy that you just gave because it's like saying if Greek freak and Bledsoe got hurt, then you can't hold them to the same stick that you held them to healthy.
Starting point is 01:26:06 You understand what I'm saying? So with the Joe Button podcast, when you can't hold me an ice new walking in the door to the same stick that you held the old podcast to. Sure you can. Teams be a whole new team. This Bucs team ain't the same as last year's Bucs team. The core of the
Starting point is 01:26:22 Bucs team is the same. But it's not the same Bucs team. Alright, you win. The core of the Bucs team is the same. But it's not the same Bucs team. All right. You win. So I just think that the assessment, you know, I see both sides of that argument. I just see both sides of the argument. I think what he said was really humbling. I think he's an amazing guy.
Starting point is 01:26:38 And I think that the analogy that he gave was a good one. When he said Michael Jordan lost some championships, won some championships. The seasons that he didn't win championships, was he a failure? No. That was his stance. But I think if you ask Michael Jordan, he might say yes. I was about to say he might not have looked at it as a failure, but he could say we as a team, we failed this year.
Starting point is 01:26:56 We didn't get it done. Like they go into – the goal is the championship. That's what they go into the season at game one of the season. We want to be there at the end holding up the trophy. And as a fan, I don't want to see my team being like, oh, no, it's cool.
Starting point is 01:27:13 Like, I don't want to see that from my team. Yeah. Unless there was a mitigating situation, someone major got injured, something like that. That's just old school. I like that. We can move on.
Starting point is 01:27:24 But I like that these new age guys don't put all the stock in the world on the championship like the niggas in the 80s and 90s did. I do too. It's way more to do. It's way more to life. This is a structure that y'all didn't fucking come up with. This is them on their capitalistic shit and a way to make the most money that they can every single year.
Starting point is 01:27:41 I'm not with players devoting life or death, their life, to this fucking man-made shit over here. Get this shit the fuck out of here. Dame Lillard, Carmelo, Chris Paul. There's a lot of players that never won that just speak to their love, passion of the game, and how much they learned
Starting point is 01:28:00 and took from the game. I'm not calling people fake. I look at Charles Barkley every day. Every day on that screen. Never won shit fair. I look at Charles Barkley every day. Every day on that screen. Never won shit. But I know about Charles Barkley. You can't shit on Charles Barkley. Like, he could go to bed feeling like he maybe should have got one.
Starting point is 01:28:13 But, nigga, you ran into Mike. You ran into Mike. I don't hold that against players. Me either. Career-wise at all. If it didn't happen, it didn't happen. There's a lot of great players. Like you said, if we're the one seed this year,
Starting point is 01:28:26 and y'all went out in the first round, I don't care, bro. That's a failed season. I'm with you on that. I don't care. Now, as exciting as that Bucs heat game was, wasn't my most exciting number one seed upset. And this is between, of course, Denver and Seattle, 94, the Warriors and the Mavs.
Starting point is 01:28:50 Mavs. That was the one for me. That was the one. That was the one. That was the one. B.D., Al Jefferson. That was crazy. That was the one.
Starting point is 01:28:58 Steve Jackson. Them three. They was going crazy. Al Jefferson, Al Harrington. They said Miami is the first team to be the eight. Matt Barnes. And upset the one and also be the one and got upset by the eight. Like, you know how they come up with this.
Starting point is 01:29:13 Miami got upset by the eight. Alonzo Mourner. I don't know what heat team it was, but it was. Oh, they're the first team. The next one. To be on both sides of that. I'm assuming. Miami's tough.
Starting point is 01:29:24 Jimmy Butler, pack up a bag, buddy. Hey, hope you got your vacation spot lined up. Hey, you can go wherever you want in a matter of two weeks. It's just going to take two weeks, buddy. That's all.
Starting point is 01:29:38 Don't even worry about it. Five games? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Quick five. Quick five. Oh, man. I want my team to get past Boston this year, bro. Them boys is tough, though.
Starting point is 01:29:50 Prediction. Realistic? Both. All right. Unrealistic, I would say the sixes in five. Realistic is Boston in five. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, realistic is Boston is five. Nah, nah, nah. Y'all go with some.
Starting point is 01:30:07 I'm playing. I'm playing. I'm playing. It might go seven. It could. It might go seven. Boston is six. Nixon is six.
Starting point is 01:30:16 He get right to it. I got Boston in six. And Nixon six. But I hope Philly wins. I see Boston in six. I'm rooting for Philly. I'm rooting for Philly wins. I see Boston in 6. I'm rooting for Philly. I'm rooting for Philly too. I'm rooting for Philadelphia.
Starting point is 01:30:28 I'm rooting for Philly. If you live in, well, Philly's kind of the second tier of teams that you're just supposed to hate if you're from New York. Boston, I always root against Boston
Starting point is 01:30:37 and everything. Yeah, me too. Shout out to Boston, the city, but sports-wise, automatic. Shout out to B-Buddy. Sorry. Philly's right behind them, but they're behind them.
Starting point is 01:30:47 Step up. Yeah. All right. We interrupt our very important sports segment to bring in our financial literacy brothers. Some ballers. They can promote some shit. So they can promote some shit. We have Troy and Rashad from Earn Your Leisure.
Starting point is 01:31:10 Good brothers, please. Please, good brothers. Guys, we got it. Hello, rap. Y'all may have seen them on their YouTube channel. You may have seen them with Tyler Perry, the owner of Popeyes. You may have seen them at Steve Jobs' gravesite. Anybody that has a lot of money,
Starting point is 01:31:40 you've seen Floyd Mayweather. These guys have been with all of the big money people. I like that. Now, we have the Earn Your Leisure brothers here with us. We are honored to have you friends of the show. Yes, sir. Welcome back. Rashad Troy is here taking advantage of the platform and the relationship.
Starting point is 01:32:02 They're on a press run. They told us they got a hard out. They got all types of shit going on. Let me put this down so I can see. How are you good brothers doing? We are doing great. Thank you for having us, bro. Thank you for coming.
Starting point is 01:32:14 Melissa, thank you for clapping us in. Appreciate that. Of course, of course. Big fan. Was she the only one that clapped? Yes. Well, no, Parks joined in. I clapped.
Starting point is 01:32:21 There we go. There we go. Okay. I thought we were better than that. You my man. He's at every show. That's what we do. Yeah, I don't think we got to do that.
Starting point is 01:32:32 You know what I'm saying? You don't think we got to clap for them even though you be at every show? Yeah, my brown. So you want to clap for my brother? You know what I'm saying? We'll see you in August. Look, I'm at every show. That speaks more than a clap.
Starting point is 01:32:45 That's a fact. That's a fact. That's our guy. Let's start with all of the things that your publicist told you to say when you got here. I know y'all are good with y'all's bulletin points, so get them all. I'm not throwing no alley-oops today. I'm not throwing y'all a question for you to Dominique Wilkins dunk it. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 01:33:02 It's just education of financial black people, and I'm not doing none of that shit today. Y'all tell me what's going on. What's happening? August, we bike. We definitely back in August. Was y'all at Podfest? Oh, y'all was in Vegas. What was that?
Starting point is 01:33:16 What's Podfest? You know what? Just let that bus go by. No, we didn't make it. We were in Vegas. We was in Vegas. I was trying to link up with you just on some friendship.
Starting point is 01:33:26 Can you please put the mic a little closer to you so I can hear you? We were doing our journalistic duties. I hit you up, man, just to catch lunch, try to have some brotherhood, fellowship.
Starting point is 01:33:34 Just ignored you? Oh, yeah. Left him on read. No, he didn't read it. That's an old... He didn't read it. That's a trip because I know that trip.
Starting point is 01:33:41 I know that trip. What's the trip? What's the trip? All right, so we're corresponding, right? So obviously we have communications at least three times. So then when it's in bold, like, yo, I'm going to come over there. What time? You hear what the cab's like?
Starting point is 01:33:52 He doesn't read it, so he can say six hours later, yo, my bad. Plausible deniability. Yo, my bad. I was running around Whitefield all day. So you can't. Because what Instagram does is they'll give us a little preview of the message. No, exactly. That's what I'm saying. And if you don't want to read any more of it at that moment, then you can't. Because what Instagram does is they'll give us a little preview of the message. No, exactly. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:34:05 And if you don't want to read any more of it at that moment, then you can just put it away. So it's a way out. Until later. But now, like I explained to you, because don't come on here and try to kick my back and make me look bad. As I explained to you, we were out there on different times. No, I appreciate that. I was out there on date life, date time, which is what I said to him. Yo, I'm with my girl.
Starting point is 01:34:25 You could have just let me know that, though. That's all. I did. No, you didn't. Six hours later. Boy, that's when I was back. From that time. When I'm with my baby, Instagram don't even really exist to me.
Starting point is 01:34:35 I like that. It was one minute after we just had a conversation. Well, she got out the bathroom. She good. She got out the bathroom. I like that. Once she came out the bathroom, I can't sit there and just be DMing. I respect that.
Starting point is 01:34:47 Because she going to say, yo, what's going on? I'm going to say, yo, it's Rashad. He want me to get up for lunch. But I just want you to know that that was just out of love. I know you love me.
Starting point is 01:34:59 I just want you to know that. I know you love me. I just want you to know that. Congrats. He reversed the heat a little bit there. These two brothers are good. Yeah, my hand is up. I know you love me. I just want you to know that. Congrats. He reversed it a little bit there. These two brothers are good. Yeah, my hand is up. What's up?
Starting point is 01:35:06 This guy's hand raised. It's coming from me. How? Three months ago, you made a comment about the Jay-Z thing. It's been a lot of- What was the comment that he sent? Please, I would love to hear it. No, it was a whole Jay-Z dinner thing, but he was like, yeah, then you said that they
Starting point is 01:35:21 want me to come for Rashad. I'm like, why? I wouldn't never. Why would you want to come for me? I wouldn't never. They see. Black, yeah, then you said that they want me to come for Rashad. I'm like, why? I wouldn't never. I wouldn't never. It was at his DM. See? He said, post. Black, yo.
Starting point is 01:35:29 I said, post. Black people be trying to pit us against each other. I didn't say it. He said it. I just wanted to know how you got to speak in DM. Y'all can't. You know what I mean? Text?
Starting point is 01:35:41 Yeah. I don't have his number. Oh, man. Never gave it to him. Never gave it to him. Some people give you their number. Some people give you their number. Some people give you their publicist number.
Starting point is 01:35:52 Newer for three years. And have not. That was my question. You know how that go. Can you move the mic closer to your mouth? Sheesh. Yo. And pause.
Starting point is 01:36:03 Yes, thank you. You think everybody should have your phone number? No. Oh, so you agree with me. Yo. And pause. Yes, thank you. You think everybody should have your phone number? No. Oh, so you agree with me. Thanks. All right. Two niggas that I call my brothers. So moving.
Starting point is 01:36:15 That move fast. For everybody. This August, what's happening? This August, man, InvestFest. You know the vibes. I think you've talked about InvestFest a few times on your show. A bunch. I'm like the real version of support.
Starting point is 01:36:30 I appreciate that. No, no, that's a fact. With no phone number. That's a fact. I appreciate that. See, I don't need to text you niggas to get my support on. I can just support. I appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:36:38 Yeah, definitely. Thank you. We got a ticket of how many times you mentioned it, so I just want to say thank you in advance. I believe that, because y'all PR firm don't play, boy. Leno one minute. No, we got people who listen to the show. Y'all, they go from math to Leno. These niggas don't play right here.
Starting point is 01:36:55 Vanson jackets. You bringing back the Vansons, not the A-Solos. You with the A-Solos. Not the Vansons and A-Solos with cream jeans. Yeah, yeah. Now he's doing the inventory of what and A-Solos with cream jeans. Yeah. Yeah. Now he's doing the inventory of what I got on. Dirty Gucci's. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:37:08 Dirty. Old Gucci's. I mean, they don't sell these no more. Now they bring them out and make them look dirty from the... Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're a little vintage. Look, I appreciate that. Sleeve rolled up a little bit to see that thing, that boy.
Starting point is 01:37:18 See that boy right there. No, because the last time you said that, we weren't humble. So I said today, let's... Y'all are the furthest thing from humble. I don't appreciate that. Y'all are the furthest thing from humble. I don't appreciate that. Y'all are the furthest thing. I think the first thing people tell us is that,
Starting point is 01:37:29 yo, how humble you guys are. I can't hear both of y'all at the same time. The first thing people say when they meet us, right, yo, you guys are so humble, so down to earth.
Starting point is 01:37:37 So they lying to you. They believe the lie. No, no, no, no. They lying to them. And they believe the lie. There you go. Listen, you gonna let them do this? I am, I, listen, I'm just waiting for my time to get in here.
Starting point is 01:37:47 This is our dear friend. Yes. She's the homie. Everybody's y'all dear friend because y'all don't create enemies. I mean. It's not a bad thing. Well played. Well played.
Starting point is 01:37:59 What? Or should we? You know. What, create enemies? Yeah. A little controversy? Are you asking me? Spice it up a little bit?
Starting point is 01:38:09 Are you asking me? Yeah, I'm asking. Yes. Why? We've had this conversation. Because the person that gets along with everyone gets along with no one. That's why.
Starting point is 01:38:20 Philosophy. I know. I know there's a slip side to the coin, but I stick by that. The person that gets along with everyone gets along with no one. Can you explain that? philosophy. I know. I know there's a flip side to the coin, but that's I stick by that. The person that gets along with everyone gets along with no one. Can you explain that? Y'all, I don't need to explain it to you, but I will just ask you, can you explain it? There is no one that gets along with everyone. So the person that appears to be getting along with everyone is front and he's normally fronting for advertising purposes.
Starting point is 01:38:45 You gentlemen know plenty about advertising. Y'all can't be yourselves, your true selves and talk like you do when it's just the niggas in Vegas in a room because y'all will lose a lot of money. I don't think that's true. You watch Market Mondays? I don't watch Market Mondays. I disagree. You don't watch Market Mondays?
Starting point is 01:38:58 You don't watch your shit? Wait, hold up. Slow down. Slow down. Slow down. Yo, slow down. No, he don't watch. You didn't tell him again? No? Wait, hold up. Slow down. Slow down. Slow down. Slow down. Yo, slow down. No, he don't watch.
Starting point is 01:39:06 Can you tell him again? No, no, hold up. It's just talking. The whole tone of the response. I feel ambushed. I thought he was coming here. But don't assume. Don't assume we watch your shit.
Starting point is 01:39:17 I feel ambushed, bro. Listen, listen, listen. I don't watch the Joe Budden podcast. I don't watch no podcast. Clean it up. Clean up on Al Saban. Clean up Al Saban. Bucket of please. Bucket of please, please. I don't believe the Joe Button podcast. I don't watch no podcast. Clean it up. Clean up with Al Seven. Clean up Al Seven. Bucket of please.
Starting point is 01:39:27 Bucket of please, please. I don't believe in the creative enemies. I'm standing with you. I don't believe in that. Can I get three buckets of please? So stupid, yo. But you were saying, what were you about to say? I feel ambushed because...
Starting point is 01:39:40 First and foremost. My who, yo? Who we got, yo? The whole vibe. Never. Never. It's a hostility that I wasn't expecting. I really wasn't expecting this hostility. Because we always had great relationships.
Starting point is 01:39:52 We are amazing. I think we still do. We still have great relationships. But I disagree with what you're saying. I disagree with Joe, too. It's very hos- it's not hospitable. Because the way it's- it's hard for me to focus. It's not hospitable. Who way it's causing me to focus. It's not hospitable.
Starting point is 01:40:08 Who's not showing you hospitality? Joe definitely. I didn't even get to my tough question. I didn't even get to my tough question. I'm not over this. But when Corey and me was like, yo, Rashad and Troy want to come up, I said,
Starting point is 01:40:20 I just don't watch porn. But the way you said it was like, no, I'm not watching that show. Troy, tell me what part of, I'm saying that you disagree with. Yeah, I think we show up as our authentic self everywhere. So anybody that's ever encountered us. So in all these years of success, y'all are the only niggas that haven't made an enemy anywhere yet.
Starting point is 01:40:32 We have enemies. I'm sure we do. Oh, so tell me about them. No, I'm sure we do. I just don't know who they are. Oh, you haven't identified them. I'm not paying attention to them. So y'all could guess the stock before it crashed.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Y'all could guess Wall Street. Y'all could guess Bitcoin. But you can't. Y'all could guess Wall Street. Y'all can guess Bitcoin. Y'all can guess what the Walgreens family is about to do. But you can't guess. All right, I understand. But look, of course, everybody has enemies,
Starting point is 01:40:55 especially when you reach a certain level of success. There's certain people that you might have been friends with at one point in time that that relationship changes. Tell me about them. It's not important
Starting point is 01:41:02 to tell you about it because we focus on something way bigger than that. That's true. You can't focus on two things at one time. So us, it's like we really focus. It's difficult. Is it? To me. While I'm
Starting point is 01:41:15 succeeding, I keep, you ever heard of third eye? I keep my third eye on the losers. Really. Make sure that they're still losers. Stay there like. Keep your foot on that. You want to make sure they stay there. Yeah, that they're still losers. Stay there like. Keep your foot on the net. You want to make sure they stay there.
Starting point is 01:41:27 Yeah. Because I can multitask. I see them losers. They wear bright clothes all the time. They make themselves so easy to spot. Scott, man.
Starting point is 01:41:35 But you were saying. I feel like. I feel like we have done a great job at creating bridges. Right. And it's important. It's important.
Starting point is 01:41:47 Now relationships are important. I'm being honest with you. I'm muting up and letting y'all get all of this bullshit out. Because it's not bullshit. All right, let's take an event like InvestFest, right? We have Rich Paul, Steve Harvey, Jeezy, Robert Smith, who's the richest black person in American history, Diddy, 19 Keys. Allegedly.
Starting point is 01:42:07 Don't just start saying fact. We've had rich kings. Who? We've had black rich kings. American. American. American history. American history.
Starting point is 01:42:16 So that's no history. All right, but go ahead. Yo, what's up with those men? What's up with those men? Yo, what's up? He's just ready for the confrontation. We've had black kings in America. Robert Smith. Robert Smith, Diddy, all of these people, right? What's up? He's just ready for it. We got black kids in America.
Starting point is 01:42:25 Robert Smith. Robert Smith, Ditty, all of these people, right? That's on a handshake. That's on relationships. There's no contract. There's no corporate. The only way that we can be able to establish that is to actually have a bridge. For sure.
Starting point is 01:42:41 To extend all of bridge. When everybody else is destroying, we building. For sure. It's work. It's beneficial. You watching it in real time. You see it. I believe that. So you can, we building. For sure. It's work. It's beneficial. You're watching it in real time. You see it. I believe that. So you can't say it's not working.
Starting point is 01:42:49 It's working. So why would we go against that formula and change that now when we've only built it on positivity? We've only built it on relationships. We only built it on helping other people and them looking out for us. And that's something that we always do to this day. Everything that we've always done has always been like that.
Starting point is 01:43:06 Before that. But that goes back to the controversy, right? If we do that, then you alienate a side or you alienate a person. And it's like, nah, we built on a foundation on relationships, we built on business. That's what we built on, right? So to have the controversy,
Starting point is 01:43:17 I see with the standpoint that you may look, that lens that you're looking at it from, and we've had that conversation, like does it make sense to have it? Y'all keep naming the richest nigga in world the owner taco bell i don't expect i don't expect you these things are frustrating i do not expect the people that y'all are naming to hate on you to throw stones in your path to hate on you, to throw stones in your path.
Starting point is 01:43:47 I don't expect that behavior from them. My question was about the people that are also seeing the same things I'm seeing from y'all, which is a lot of growth, a lot of rapid elevation. The trajectory is what y'all are doing. I say it all the time, so I don't need to tell it to y'all. What y'all are doing in I say it all the time, so I don't need to tell it to y'all. What y'all are doing in this very small window is phenomenal. And there were some people that were not Robert Smith, not Tyler Perry, that were right there with you ground level. Y'all don't get to escape some of the same things that other black millionaires have to go through.
Starting point is 01:44:19 We just had Simba up here talking about how difficult it is, loss of friendship when you're on your way to your goal. So it's cool that you're telling me about Robert Smith. But our thing is different. Here's why our thing is different, right? From everybody else. And no disrespect, I don't know any of these people personally, so I don't know their situation. But our thing is different because we all grew up together.
Starting point is 01:44:40 So you see me and Troy, we knew each other our whole lives. Abdullah, he used to work for Troy. Our other partner, Mike, we got about 30 people that we employ. 90% of them is our family and friends. I'm asking about 31 to 35. But what I'm telling you is that that's not normal. That's not your focus. That's not normal, right? So it's like our whole situation is different. We grew up, like everybody that we know, we grew up with, we work with, we empowered them. We stimulate their economy, they stimulate our economy. So those stories, of course, there's always gonna be issues. But we are.
Starting point is 01:45:13 I can't wait to a scandal come out on you, niggas. I ain't even. Why would you stop waiting to a scandal? I keep telling you. You told us that the last time we were here. I cannot wait. You said it's happening. It's gonna happen. I look forward.
Starting point is 01:45:22 Why do you look forward to a scandal? I'm just curious. Because he likes the fuck shit Yeah I mean I can't wait neither I mean that's one way That's one way to do it
Starting point is 01:45:29 I can't wait I agree I can't wait Like Why You guys are aware of Whatever shots And people that don't like you
Starting point is 01:45:37 You're just not addressing it Of course Exactly Why would you Why would you give that attention You up here Why would you Why would you give that attention
Starting point is 01:45:44 When they go low We go high. Oh, yeah, yeah. Old school 1994 shit. That shit niggas don't follow that. It's not that they're doing good. Y'all doing, you know, y'all doing your thing. But that's why they, that could be why they continue to do good.
Starting point is 01:45:53 That's how you continue to thrive. You throw rocks at the throne. You don't throw rocks from the throne. You don't throw rocks from the throne. That's a fact. Well. That's a good line. Ooh, yeah, me.
Starting point is 01:46:03 You ain't seen some of these new thrones on Wayfair. You ain't seen Black Knight or all the movies. They had you on the throne, right? Number one in the space, right? Complex did. That was not Joe Budden. I thought I was going to come here and see it. Or anyone that Joe Budden knows and loves.
Starting point is 01:46:17 But they did. Stop, because that just got me in a lot of trouble. Stop. There's no trouble. It's the controversy. It's the discussion. Any publicity is good, right? It it is trouble because i want to have good relationships like y'all it is trouble for me because i want to be have a good representation and have really good healthy relationships and create bridges everywhere that i go like y'all when i go home it bothers me and
Starting point is 01:46:40 frustrates me at fucking night that there are people out there that i'm not harmonious with that there's some people out there that I'm not harmonious with. That there's some people out there that are struggling with having that great relationship with me and I could have done more to mend it and I didn't. It bought. So when I see you guys,
Starting point is 01:46:53 you brothers. Man, shut up. Yo, stop. I'm gonna tell you to stop. I'm gonna tell them to blow you a kiss. This message is brought to you by stopimagination.com What?
Starting point is 01:47:05 It's therapy session. I want to read something to y'all that I found on Rashad's Instagram page. Oh, man. Oh, shit. Here we go.

Starting point is 01:49:47 Tell them what you really are. Nah, but honestly, in that moment, I'm like, damn. Like Machiavellian. This is how Pac felt. That's the only thing I can really think about. Like, yo, you're walking through the casino, and you got some of the rarest fabrics that's ever been made. Yep.
Starting point is 01:50:06 And it's a vibe. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yo, you got to pay the price. Yo, you got to pay the picture. Yo, I'm not going to. Pay the picture, though. What, you going to be a lot of you?
Starting point is 01:50:14 You ringside. You got silk on. Bro, what you? You walking past the MG. What's the last time we seen Pac? Pac and them had just stomped a nigga out. Yeah, that's what I was like. He's missing a part of this, yo.

Starting point is 01:50:37 Like, this is real shit. A couple years ago, we was regular people watching television, right? So you're not regular. So you're not regular. No. No. I didn't say that, Cho. But what I'm saying is that. Starting point is 01:51:29 Empower your friends Not have to do it By tearing somebody down Do it through education And Live that life Like I'm not gonna water that down
Starting point is 01:51:37 It's inspirational Yeah Joe has a question Just for my crew though Not you niggas Just that fast We have a full circle moment They killed Pac Joe has a question? Just for my crew, though. Not you niggas. Just that fast, we have a full circle moment.
Starting point is 01:51:49 They killed Pac. Yeah. So I was asking them if along their journey there was anybody in the world that could not be the happiest about their journey. Pac made a whole career out of robbing enemies.
Starting point is 01:52:02 Yeah, yeah. They gave him enemies. A little different. He gave me a whole bunch of bullshit. A enemies. Yeah, yeah. They gave me enemies. A little different. A whole bunch of bullshit. A little different. So y'all think that y'all, and that's why I say I can't wait for them to encounter something. Because the financial literacy niggas have just been out here
Starting point is 01:52:16 seemingly not encountering things. But we come from hip-hop. And hip-hop, we don't know nobody that has gotten up like this and not had someone somewhere with a bad taste in their mouth so it's funny to me that you reference park walking through the casino because this energy and that energy don't look too different of course so of course there's some level of comic to it, right? It's not like an exact of course we're not, like I said. It don't seem comical. A few days before, you took
Starting point is 01:52:50 a picture with Bronny James. You took a picture with Bronny James inbounding the ball. What is happening? Look at the comments, right? If you look at the comments. Who took the picture of you and Bronny James? That was a professional photographer. Whose? Get James That was a professional photographer
Starting point is 01:53:05 Whose Getty Image Whose professional photographer It was the McDonald's All Americans game Professional photographer Okay but your shot You know the shot
Starting point is 01:53:14 I'm talking about Yeah You're talking about We was next to Slim Thug Yeah yeah We was on a bench And Bronny's in the huddle
Starting point is 01:53:21 Or something like that I didn't see Getty Images On that picture Oh you're talking about I think I snapped it Yeah you took the. Oh, you're talking about... I think that's not good. Yeah, that's not good. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:28 Yeah. What's wrong with that? Nothing. That's different. If you want to exploit a kid. If we compare... If you want to exploit somebody's child. For your own fame and fortune.
Starting point is 01:53:39 Oh, Joey. I mean, nothing's wrong with that. Joey, we had a... So, in real life, when you... I don't know you don't go outside too much right so but it's like when you go to a
Starting point is 01:53:47 basketball game and you happen to sit in the front row and you sit like right next to the bitch there's no such thing as happen to sit in the front row
Starting point is 01:53:54 that's the other thing no it actually isn't here's how you happen to sit in the front row give it to me no you get invited to sit there you get invited
Starting point is 01:54:00 so it's not happen no you don't know where you're gonna sit cause you didn't pay for it and it just so happens that you're right next to the head coach. It's like, oh, I didn't know that. Thank you, McDonald's. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:54:10 So now when you take a picture, it's difficult not to get a basketball player in the picture if you're next to the basketball team. Y'all don't hear how he's talking to me? But I'm just, it's a certain level. I just want to point out. I'm just explaining it. How he's speaking to me. I'm just explaining it because you were condescending to me. It's condescending. You were condescending to me. It's. certain level I just want to point out I'm just explaining it How he's speaking I'm just explaining it Because you were condescending to me
Starting point is 01:54:26 You were condescending to me Ish You were condescending to me Don't team up with him Don't team up with him Come on now Me and Ish are literally Just trying not to catch a stray

See, look, Ali. Here goes Ali.
Starting point is 01:55:55 Shadi, run down the list. He already said. I already said, but my guy Diddy will be there. He's a keynote. Robert Smith is a keynote. Rich Paul will be there. Jeezy will be performing. Ja Rule will be performing. Jeezy will be performing. Ja Rule will be performing.
Starting point is 01:56:06 Jermaine Dupri. Like I said, 19 Keys. Ian Dunlap. Ourselves. Yo, what's up with you, Joe? Chill out. Go hard on these niggas. What they did, yo?
Starting point is 01:56:18 Angie Martinez. Al Harrington. Junior Bridgman. Gang. He got gang up there. He got the gang up there. Salute. All family and friends. Everybody likes us, Joe Bridgeman. Gang. He got gang up there. He got the gang up there. Salute. All family and friends are good people.
Starting point is 01:56:27 Everybody likes us, Joe. Like, everybody like us. We don't really care. That's not true, though. You know some people that don't like us. You know people that don't like us. And so do y'all. But they don't matter.
Starting point is 01:56:36 So you can't say everybody like you, then. You are aware of some people that don't like you. These guys crazy. Nigga, I'm not here for all that fucking friendly shit. Tell me who they are. I'll fire them up. Fuck all that friendly shit. Tell me who they are.
Starting point is 01:56:49 I'll fire them up. What's their name? All right. These are good. We can fuck them up. I like them niggas. These niggas are cool. These niggas are cool.
Starting point is 01:56:57 That's just me busting their balls for them. Nah, but there are some people that don't like us, but you know, that comes with it, man. I'm not aware. You're never going to have everybody that likes you. Is there some people that was in the same business that you guys were in? You got ex-partners and shit like that? Nah. Nah, nah, nah. Everybody, like literally
Starting point is 01:57:09 from kindergarten up until now, we've known. That's not what I asked you. That's what I said. So you said like ex-partners, right? Anybody that you guys don't like, y'all. He said like ex-employees and stuff. Nah, nah, nah. It's none of that. It's none of that because everybody worked with him as family for 30 years.
Starting point is 01:57:25 Yeah, 30 years. Like that means anything. Like that means anything. Niggas for 30 years beef all the time. All the time. So the niggas that don't like y'all is what? Like? Haters.
Starting point is 01:57:34 I don't want to call them. No, you can't say that. We got to stop doing it. It's so hard. I don't know. They're not haters. What make them a hater? Why not?
Starting point is 01:57:39 I don't know. They wouldn't be a hater. Because these two niggas could be dislikable dudes when they go home. True. We don't know. What would they say from this day on? I don't think they are.
Starting point is 01:57:47 But what if the niggas that hate them got like a valid reason for the hate? I think Nas said it the best. I like these niggas, but they my niggas. Hate is confused admiration.
Starting point is 01:57:54 So I think that, you know, they really... Oh, man. Nah, please, you gotta respect that. You should respect that. This nigga be at Barnes & Noble
Starting point is 01:58:01 is more than anything. Nah, you gotta respect that. This nigga be at... So, you know, it's never real hate. You gotta respect that. This nigga be at. So, you know, it's just, what are you? It's never real. Because how could you hate us? Like, we interviewed Black Sam, bro.
Starting point is 01:58:11 We was in Crenshaw. You saw that joint? We was in Jamaica with fucking Bounty Killer. These are things, like, this is for the culture. You saying, how could niggas hate people like that? How could you hate that? You know what I'm saying? Black Sam never spoke.
Starting point is 01:58:25 You ever see him speak before? What's wrong with this nigga? Oh, because they're not having opportunities. That is exactly why you hate him. But I'm saying, why would you hate that, though? Because some niggas is haters. I can't wait till these niggas get a scan. I'm just saying, you got to appreciate that more than anything.
Starting point is 01:58:42 In a perfect world, yes. Most people are not going to because they don't have the opportunity. But that ain't how it works. Like, somebody can sit there and say, I should do it. Have you never heard any Khaled song? They don't want you in a Vans. That's a fact. They don't want you in A-Solo's Popcorn Soft Sweats.
Starting point is 01:58:57 That's a fact. Don't get the Gucci. But they appreciate it. The Vans and shit in the A-Solo is, like, disrespectful, too. Yo, tell me about it. Y'all still with them girls that y'all was with? Excuse me? Yo, this guy's crazy.
Starting point is 01:59:10 Yo, stop. Yo, this guy's crazy. Yo, what's up with this dude? Yo, what the hell is this coke, man? Stop. Yo, what's up with this dude, man? Now you're going too far, nigga. Stop.
Starting point is 01:59:19 Somebody else. Stop. You finish him. You finish him. Stop. Finish what? Yo, this guy's crazy. What are you speaking of? What's up? You finish it. Finish it. You finish it. Stop. Finish what? You go too far today. What's up?
Starting point is 01:59:25 This guy is crazy. What are you speaking? I was trying to ask. Last time I saw y'all, I was asking y'all about, and I'm not talking to Troy, but I asked y'all about the financial literacy world groupies. I did. The groupies.
Starting point is 01:59:36 And that's something that I want to always keep up with. All right. Appreciate it. So what's your question? What's the question? What girls are we with? Not that I've physically seen you with. It's just the Orvis of five.
Starting point is 01:59:46 But the girls that come with. Yeah. Yeah. I mean. Shadi. Any type of success. How is that? It's network.
Starting point is 01:59:54 Yeah, pop. It's networking. It's networking. Two shot. And you meet a lot of great people along your journey. All right, yo. All right. All right.
Starting point is 02:00:04 All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right journey. All right, yo. All right. Hey, yo. To August. Hey, yo. To August. And Vest Vest. Coming to a town, Nick. Somewhere. Check it out.
Starting point is 02:00:12 These niggas. Yeah. What else we brought? I'm done with their publicity shit. We got Market Mondays Live. That's a tour. World tour. Y'all been checking that out?
Starting point is 02:00:20 That's a world tour. The next stop is in London. Nice. We're going to be in Chicago in October. But we ended the year in Ghana. We did Toronto. So if y'all can't. We did Toronto. Back to back show. Shout out to the host of is in London uh we're gonna be in Chicago in October but we ended the year in Ghana we did Toronto we did Toronto back-to-back show shout out to the host of the Toronto he was here so we didn't get to have you up there but yeah next time yeah for sure next time we're going back we'll tell you the details on a little bit but on a serious note let me just say the Ghana
Starting point is 02:00:39 thing because Ghana is important right we're gonna be doing we're bringing market monies to Ghana it's December right December yeah yeah. So after Christmas, so the 27th, we'll be out there through New Year's. So it's important, right? Like when we talk about world domination,
Starting point is 02:00:50 on a serious note, it's like, yo, finances is a world issue, right? But who's speaking for the people on the continent? And so we're trying
Starting point is 02:00:56 to bridge that. So we're going to end the year in Ghana. Again, if y'all up to it, y'all welcome to come. There's a lot of people that's going to be a part of it,
Starting point is 02:01:03 so it's going to be a serious, serious moment. But on a serious note, it's like, once I say, like, why would you hate? It's more so confused admiration because we literally did the impossible. If you really think about it, right? Like we spearhead the financial literacy movement. A conversation that probably is the most boring, traditionally the most boring topic out of any genre, especially when it comes to black people in America. We never wanted to hear.
Starting point is 02:01:27 So not only did we actually popularize it, now we're actually able to throw events like InvestFest where 20,000 people come and pay to learn. So it's like, all right, you're not paying to learn about drill music and drugs and different things of that nature. This is something that's positive. It's uplifting and it could change the trajectory of your life. So this is something that we played a major part in. So if you really think about it, that's almost impossible to accomplish that, to go on a world tour, to have people in London, to have people in Toronto talking about financial literacy,
Starting point is 02:01:59 business, investing, stocks. So we have fun with it, and we throw the different fashion in the music because that's who we are. That's how we grew up. But I think it's difficult to really hate on something like that. Why would you? You have to really self-examine yourself.
Starting point is 02:02:17 You got to self-examine yourself like, damn, something is wrong with me. How could you hate on something like that? You know success breeds hate And I'm a hater But what he's saying Is some niggas that are just What he's saying is
Starting point is 02:02:31 It's confused admiration Exactly Because you really don't Hate these niggas You really admire these niggas Exactly And you don't know How to congratulate them
Starting point is 02:02:37 Without being negative That is definitely Confused admiration See That's not the part Nobody disagree with that Oh alright We got that part
Starting point is 02:02:43 But all of that About how could you Hate publicly How could Why would you Like there's answers To that Those things
Starting point is 02:02:50 How do you hate publicly Niggas that are Showingly Again I don't know What they do Behind closed doors But on front street All they represent
Starting point is 02:02:59 Is positivity How do you publicly Hate that Yeah Without looking like Maybe because they Don't view it like that Without looking like An asshole Some niggas are Subjective Looking like an asshole Maybe because they don't view it like that Without looking like an asshole
Starting point is 02:03:05 Some niggas are Subjective With looking like an asshole That's what you call it That's what I said Our relationship with people Is transformational Right?
Starting point is 02:03:13 Like Other people in different spaces Musicians That's transactional Right? Like You pay for the service You like it or you don't
Starting point is 02:03:21 You come back if you don't I give you information You take that you can go anywhere With that you can give it to your family. So it's a little different It's not like yo, we selling this lifestyle now bro, like I'm a teacher, but I can hate you and still get the information Say it again, but I can't Is it do you really hate me? Well, no, it would be to confuse that that's what I'm saying I try to let stick on people hate you
Starting point is 02:03:41 Yeah, I'm trying to stick to what do you do when the confused admirers start to pop up. So when I say I can't wait for it, it's that part that I'm talking about. Not saying that they don't exist
Starting point is 02:03:52 or why would you, but when you see them, you're going to have to deal with them even as financial literacy guys. It's just difficult. It's like
Starting point is 02:04:00 the sun is out right now, right? No. No. In the daytime, the sun's out. This guy's strong. The sun is out, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:10 The sun is a star, but there's billions of stars. You can't see the stars when the sun is out. We've casted a light so bright that you can't see it. My nigga, you write this shit down. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to turn. Hey, Rashad. Hey, Rashad. That's his name? Rashad. Hey, you write this shit down. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to turn. And Rashad. And Rashad.
Starting point is 02:04:27 And you write this shit down? Nah. Stop practicing shit that you write down to come up here with that shit, man. Ish, you agree with that point? Yeah, Ish. Yeah, Ish. Ish, what'd you think of that last part? You got to wait for the sun to go down for the night time.
Starting point is 02:04:42 Now you can see the sun always shining. You guys are the sun. I'm shining everybody. That's behind go down for the night time. Now you can see the sun always shining. You guys are the sun. I'm shining everybody. That's behind you guys. In this analogy, yes. But he just said that the sun is black. You're not gonna answer your question, right? He just said the sun.
Starting point is 02:04:56 No, no, no, real shit. You're the sun of the moon. No, it's just real shit. Five years ago, how many people did you know in the world of finance? Five years later, right? The brighter we get,
Starting point is 02:05:04 to use that analogy, the more it gives exposure to the of finance? Five years later, right, the brighter we get, to use that analogy, the more it gives exposure to the people who are doing positive things, right? Like, growing up, there was like a couple things you thought you could be. You can ask these kids now, there's about 10,000 things they think they could be because they've seen people that look like them do it.
Starting point is 02:05:17 That's thanks to y'all. But when I say we, it's not just me and Troy. It's Ian, it's 19 Keys, it's everybody, Ronnie Brown, it's everybody in this space that is all together. And we might not speak to them every single day. But they might not come to the interviews with you, but they still important. They important. They do come to the interviews.
Starting point is 02:05:34 We brought them all to the Breakfast Club. We didn't have to do that. We the only people that's ever done that. I've never seen even rappers do that for the most part. Like we probably went to the Breakfast Club more than anybody ever in a two-year span, seven times. We took 19... Don't say that shit no more, I'll be in too.
Starting point is 02:05:48 We took... You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? By the way, to those who are concerned... Fuck you, keep playing, bro. I'm just... Why do we keep comparing... Why do we keep comparing a financial space...
Starting point is 02:05:59 We can't use that word up here. They not comparable. It's a good question because... It's a horrible comparison. It's not a horrible comparison because that's a reference that we use because that's our reference point in our community, right? What else do we have? Sports and entertainment. But hip-hop is founded on something else.
Starting point is 02:06:16 Hip-hop is characterized as something else. Hip-hop traditionally is based in competition. Financial literacy is not. That's not true, though. It's a lot of competition in financial literacy space. What's the first thing you said? Business is based in competition. Financial literacy is not. That's not true, though. It's a lot of competition in financial literacy space. What's the first thing you said? Business is built on competition. Business is more competition than music.
Starting point is 02:06:31 I said financial literacy. I didn't say business. Financial literacy is business. I have a question for you niggas. It is business. Oh, wait, hold up. Why is financial literacy not business? Financial literacy is you trying to teach people how to be business-minded.
Starting point is 02:06:43 But we're, let's, we're business. We're not even, but I'm, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Look,
Starting point is 02:06:49 wording is important. I know. And financial literacy. Financial literacy is a part of what we do. True. But we're not financial literacy guys. We're businessmen. True.
Starting point is 02:06:58 First and foremost, we can have, we got a trucking company. We do different events. We do merch. We do all kinds of stuff. Financial literacy is just a part of what we do. So everybody in the space is kind of similar to that.
Starting point is 02:07:10 Financial literacy is just not like a holy thing where you're just going out and like, nah, they're doing financial literacy, but they also got courses that they sell and they're also doing events. They also got merch. They got different products, physical products. So at the end of the day, and I always say this, we never apologize about making money. Sure. Like,
Starting point is 02:07:26 this is a for-profit entity that we have. We're not non-profit at all. Sure. We're not asking for no donations. It's not a charity. It's a for-profit entity.
Starting point is 02:07:34 We exchange our services for money. Ladies and gentlemen. That's business. Sure, we got them. It's business. Yo,
Starting point is 02:07:42 this guy with the sound effects. Yo, this guy, man, this guy's crazy. This guy's crazy. This guy's crazy. Nah, but I just, financial literacy, I think the word has just kind of been.
Starting point is 02:07:51 Over you, oversaturated. Yeah, it's oversaturated. It's kind of corny almost at this point. I think how you're saying it is just like in a literal sense, right? Like financial literacy means educating people on the world of finance. Exactly. But it's bigger than that. Who said it's not?
Starting point is 02:08:05 Now we took this off into something else. I'm talking about when we keep comparing hip-hop to financial literacy, beef comes along in hip-hop. If you are sincere about your financial literacy goals and you really want to impart information onto the rest of the world, there's no place in that for beef.
Starting point is 02:08:23 Unless somebody brings beef to you. Exactly. But again... There was beef when Malcolm X and Martin Luther King was doing civil rights. Their messages were different. Vastly different.
Starting point is 02:08:31 But I'm just saying, there's beef inside of religion. Vastly different messages. But what I'm just saying is that you would think something like civil rights, how could there be beef as far as we just try to get people
Starting point is 02:08:40 to have voting rights? But there are... I don't like the way you're going about this. I don't like the way you're going about this. There's always going to be beef. Unfortunately, like that's part of who we are.
Starting point is 02:08:47 Like, no, it's a competition no matter what there is. It's always a competition. I started with that. You told me I was out of my fucking mind. Everybody loves you and how could you hate me? You my man. That's that's what I'm saying. I'm not just saying.
Starting point is 02:08:56 This is competition. I can answer you. There's always going to be competition. Martin Luther King was telling people, yo, if you get in your ass whipped, turn the other cheek. Michael Mecks was saying if somebody's whipping your ass, you hit them back. Exactly.
Starting point is 02:09:05 Different approaches. So that was the inherent beef within them. What I'm telling you in the financial space is if I'm telling Corey I want you to win and I'm telling Parks I want you to win and Troy is saying I want y'all to win too, it should really open the door for beef. We keep comparing it to hip-hop. But it's different approaches
Starting point is 02:09:21 even in the financial literacy. I agree with that statement. We don't have to beef in it. No, I'm 100% we don't have to beef in it. But I don't want to beef with anybody. Anytime. Only Joe wants us to beef. that is a false narrative
Starting point is 02:09:32 that you spreading. So let me interrupt. Anytime you dealing with money at this scale, when is there not, that's where y'all, I get the ideology. It don't have to be...
Starting point is 02:09:46 I understand that. I'm talking about the patterns that we have from people and history. It is when you're dealing with money at this level, there's beef. It don't have to be. It doesn't have to be.
Starting point is 02:09:58 All right, we got that part. Right. We got that part. But unfortunately, there is human nature. There's always envy, greed. I think I can do this better than this person. Why is he here? Why is he speaking to this person? We got that part. But unfortunately, there is. Human nature. There's always envy, greed. Greed is the part of human nature. I think I can do this better than this person.
Starting point is 02:10:07 Why is he here? Why is he speaking to this person? Why are they on Joe Button's show and not me? Yeah, why he get to feel like Tupac walking through the casino with a silk shirt? Real. Because other niggas don't want to feel like that. Of course. Go get a silk shirt and go to the game and earn it.
Starting point is 02:10:20 You could do it. He earned it. And we're giving you the information to how to do it. So it's a little bit different. But I think it's not productive. I think you're right. I'm not, I think you're 100% right.
Starting point is 02:10:30 I think that it hasn't been productive in hip hop to be honest with you. I don't feel like beef is productive. I don't think that it's a productive thing.
Starting point is 02:10:37 It's counterproductive. There's no business behind it. It gets in the way of the money. If you focus on some haters, you can't focus on your progress. That's a fact. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:10:44 We just spoke with Swizz, right? And we was talking about hip hop. No, we were talking... Shout out to Swizz. Get up. We were talking about hip hop. I was going to say get up.
Starting point is 02:10:55 No, pick that up. He was like, yo, this is the evolution of it. Like, what we doing here? Because for years, nobody had education. True. Right?
Starting point is 02:11:02 They're in the music business and have no idea what business is. That's true. And so that breeds spaces to have conflict that leads to have when you're talking about business and people understand a bit they know like yo this is not this is not gonna help the business right this is not gonna help us long term how do we work together right so when we implore and we encourage people and give them information it's different i have a question for y'all have you guys ever had to leave somebody behind? Leave somebody? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:11:26 They left themselves behind. No, no, no. They left themselves behind. No, no, no, man. Yeah, they did to yourself. Did to yourself. How you leave yourself behind? But when they look in the mirror,
Starting point is 02:11:34 do they say yourself? We fucked up. What's Rashad ready? Rashad, stop. He slid. That gladiator shit don't mean nothing to me. Stop.
Starting point is 02:11:42 I like you. His niggas all stop. New Jack City shit. Stop it. Hold on. Let me finish don't mean nothing to me. He slicked. Stop. I like you. His niggas all... Stop, man. Stop it. No, I'm saying... Hold on. Let me finish the question. What I'm saying is that
Starting point is 02:11:49 has anybody not been on the same level or moved the way you guys wanted them to move or you guys weren't on the same thinking pattern, whatever, however I'm trying to word it, that you had to leave behind. We not fucking with that nigga next term. Next time we doing it, we going... It's over.
Starting point is 02:12:03 We going to move him out the little group that we got on... Not little. We going to move him out the's over. We going to move them out the little group that we got, not little, we going to move them out the Instagram group, we going to move them out the text, we not fuck with them.
Starting point is 02:12:09 Have you ever had to cut a nigga off because they wasn't on the same page or they didn't do what you guys thought was feasible to the business? You got to put people
Starting point is 02:12:17 in a position where they can be successful. This is the interesting thing about success and even Tyler Perry said this to us, right? We getting y'all out of here. No, this is real shit.
Starting point is 02:12:24 You got to think about it. This success shit is rare, right? So Tyler Perry said this to us, right? We're getting y'all out of here. No, this is real shit. You got to think about it. This success shit is rare, right? So it's like a rare air, right? If you bring somebody up to this air and they can't breathe, what's going to happen to them? They're going to suffocate, right? And so rather than saying, like, yo, you're cut off, we're just going to keep going, keep going. And eventually they're going to be like, yo, this is not for me. I shouldn't be here, right?
Starting point is 02:12:43 I can't survive up here. You're actually going to be hurting them about trying to bring it with you so i think it's like yo yeah there's people who we grew up with we're just gonna keep going keep going they was with us yo we're not cutting you off but like at a certain point it's like how do i fit in how can i add value he said he said to quote i remember the quote he said basically you spinning up so fast when you spinning up they're gonna fall off yeah because they can't handle the spin. So they're going to fall off organically. The atmosphere is too high for them.
Starting point is 02:13:10 Yeah. That's a fact. These niggas, it's coming. I've never met a bunch of niggas like, who the fuck are these niggas? Where you at, these niggas? It's the weekend. It's the weekend. These niggas sitting there talking this shit.
Starting point is 02:13:24 The sun is. Yeah. You got a lemon take to the sky. Niggas, they're taking the sun out? Yeah. Behind the sun is the stars. You niggas breathe the air in the hallway, god damn it. These niggas are crazy. The sun is blocking the stars. Are you niggas the sun?
Starting point is 02:13:32 No, we're not the sun. No, no, he said yes, we the sun. Oh, you are the sun. Yo, it's mad stars, but we are the sun. I'll shine it on all the niggas behind y'all. Fuck y'all talking about? Did you help the old niggas that were that big? I don't believe it.
Starting point is 02:13:40 I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't we the son. Oh, you are the son. Yo, it's mad stars. I'll sign all the other niggas behind y'all. We are the son. Fuck y'all talking about.
Starting point is 02:13:48 Did you help the old niggas that did it before y'all? I don't believe none of this shit. I seen y'all when y'all did the Mo Money Mo Problems leather suits in front of the- Get them niggas. It was only y'all two. Wait, wait, wait. Where, where? Look, look, look.
Starting point is 02:14:01 Look, look, look. I don't remember. Which one? How many times did you put on Mason Puffy's Bad Boy Mo Money Mo Problems suit? Where at? Where at? Look, look, look. I don't remember. Which one? Oh, you just get dressed up. How many times did you put on Mason Puffy, Bad Boy, More Money, More Problem suits? Well, I don't remember. In front of the EYL.
Starting point is 02:14:11 Yo, yo, and listen, and Best Fest this August, y'all. Best Fest. Go on, clap it up for Best Fest. Clap it up for Best Fest. That nigga's good. I'm going to do some research on that nigga. Yeah, you got to do some research. I'm going to get that child in here.
Starting point is 02:14:24 Troy, did Mel do a good job of anything? Shit. You said you was looking to her to jump in. No, no. I just wanted to, before you got us out of there, I want to make sure that she got to express her feelings about Ernie and Leisha, the mission that we've been on. Oh, no.
Starting point is 02:14:38 I mean, I walked up to you guys. I very rarely, when I'm outside, I hug the back. I'm not a social butterfly You know But when I saw you guys I had to walk over What? Sir what?

Starting point is 02:19:16 No, I meant Taco Bell. I don't know who this is. We don't know the CEO of Taco Bell. Yeah, but you got to speak it to fruition. That's a fact. This guy's good. You got to speak it to fruition. This is true.

Starting point is 02:19:30 and say, I'm here to ball them. You gotta will it to kill it. Burritos for everybody. Yes. Burritos for everybody. Burritos for everybody. Oh, man.

Starting point is 02:20:11 Stop. Girl. No, you didn't see the cover? I didn't see it. I don't want to see the cover, nigga. I'm not talking about you niggas. I don't want to see y'all niggas shining like that. Wearing P-30 suits.
Starting point is 02:20:20 This nigga talking about he pop in Vegas, nigga. What do you think that's inviting, positivityositivity? Get these niggas. Ladies and gentlemen, the flashiest financial educators you will ever see. The most condescending pieces of shit. I mean, they'll teach you something, but they'll teach you something about money. I mean, they just might make you feel bad about yourself in the process. I'm joking. I'm joking.
Starting point is 02:20:44 Shout out to Rashad. Shout out to Troy. Shout'm joking. I'm joking. Shout out to Rashad. Shout out to Troy. Shout out to Mike, 19 Keys. Shout out to Ian. Shout out to everybody in the gang. And I might be there. I might be there in August. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 02:20:54 I found one of my little fashion niggas that makes some fly pants and a mask. I'll be there in a mask on, like, bang on these niggas. Look at that bitch-ass nigga right there. Where's that, Atlanta? Yeah, Atlanta. Atlanta. It's going to be in Atlanta. Last Where's that, Atlanta? Yeah, Atlanta. Atlanta. Yeah. It's going to be in Atlanta.
Starting point is 02:21:07 Last week of August. August 25th through the 27th. Oh, well, lucky for me, my fantasy draft is trying to draft in Atlanta. Oh, perfect. There you have it. Now you got a reason. Right around, right before my birthday,
Starting point is 02:21:20 28th, August 27th, somewhere around there. No, my birthday's the 31st, but that's a Thursday in August. So Tuesday and Wednesday, I'm coming out there to draft. If that falls in the same somewhere, then I will be there. Who's the commissioner of the league? John Maneely. Let's get in contact with him. John Maneely is the commissioner.
Starting point is 02:21:36 Mike Kaiser, one of them. Mike Kaiser, okay, perfect. All right. They'll be there. I'm sure they'll be there. You sure, right? Because they're everybody. You sure they're everybody. I ain't, right? Because of everybody. You sure? Everybody.
Starting point is 02:21:46 I ain't going to lie. They good. They good. Y'all going to be in the same spot? Yeah, same spot. Just a different wing, but same spot. Y'all got to be good. A bigger wing, huh?
Starting point is 02:21:55 Yeah, bigger. Yeah. A bigger one. Bigger than before? Yeah, yeah. Wow. Y'all going to have to brush it. Wow.
Starting point is 02:22:03 I mean, I was there. It was huge. That's what she said. Yo, man. Walk outside. She wasn't. You go outside. Come on, round of applause for these niggas that we're kicking out.
Starting point is 02:22:12 Thank you, Troy. Thank you, Rashad. Troy and Rashad. Y'all got a hard out. Y'all got to go do Jimmy Kimmel or somebody. Nah, we just got to go to Boomer.
Starting point is 02:22:20 Nigga got the Dallas star on back of his shit. These niggas are great. Yeah, get up. Get up. Get up and hug are great. Yeah, get up. Get up. Get up and hug Rashad. And Rashad, a man taller than you.
Starting point is 02:22:31 Know more about houses and money than you. I see why you just married. All right, yeah, get up. Get up. This guy's a gentleman, man. What a gentleman. Look, everybody. Hugs for everybody.
Starting point is 02:22:41 All right, let me get up, too. Hey! Let me get up too. Hey! Let me get up. JVP, JVP, fire with 2B without the JVP. All right, we are back. We are. Again, shout out to Troy and Rashad. Appreciate those brothers for coming here and having a good time.
Starting point is 02:23:00 That was fun. Yeah, that was fun. That was a good time. On to M.A. Udoka, hired by the Houston Rockets. Round of applause. Come on, clap it up. Clap it up.
Starting point is 02:23:13 Yes, sir. He took some accountability for the near long shit. He said, get off his dick. He was wrong. He put everybody through a hard time when he didn't have to, blah, blah, blah, blah, but the bag is back and I got another job. He could have some fun in Houston. Oh, man.
Starting point is 02:23:28 Wow. Park. What? It's a beautiful city. It's a fun city. Yeah. Got a few onyxes. Good food.
Starting point is 02:23:38 He's a good looking guy. He should have fun out there. And he's single now, right? Is he? He's not with Nia Doesn't look like he was With the misters Melissa why
Starting point is 02:23:52 Why did you just whisper Why did you just whisper that part Can you I don't know Anyway Alright thoughts Thoughts I don't have any thoughts
Starting point is 02:24:02 Congratulations We knew he would get another job. Nice little young team that he could mold, you know what I'm saying, in his way. And basketball, too. Oh, and basketball. Oh, man, that was good. Speaking of Houston or old Houston,
Starting point is 02:24:19 do y'all see this little clip going around of James Harden allegedly smacking somebody? No, I didn't see that. I missed that. All right. We can't have fun with it, but it wasn't aacking somebody. I didn't see that. I missed that. All right. We can't have fun with it, but it wasn't a real smack. And it was his homeboy, somebody that was in his team. It looked like a little love tap.
Starting point is 02:24:31 The blogs are trying to make a thing out of it. Yeah, exactly. Lamar Jackson. Man, round of applause for that one. Come on, man. Lamar Jackson. Come on, man. Let me hit the button.
Starting point is 02:24:43 I was wrong. Let me hit the button. Get a real applause for my guy, man. Lamar Jackson. Come on, man. Let me hit the button. I was wrong. Let me hit the button. Get a real applause for my guy, man. About time. Congratulations, Lamar Jackson, his mother,
Starting point is 02:24:51 his family, the Ravens. You got it done. Shout out to black quarterbacks. I'm sick of saying shout out to black quarterbacks. Shout out to black quarterbacks. They had a big weekend.
Starting point is 02:25:01 Yeah. Jalen Hurts, Lamar. Is his contract bigger than Jalen's? Yes. Yeah, because that's what I was reading. It's the biggest. Like ever? It's big weekend. Yeah. Jalen Hurts, Lamar. Is his contract bigger than Jalen's? Yes. Yeah, because that's what I was reading. It's the biggest. Like ever? It's the biggest. Ever. Every year we're going to get a biggest ever.
Starting point is 02:25:12 They're going to keep resetting the market. So congratulations to Lamar and Jalen. The full circle thing for me as I was watching the draft with the first two quarterbacks being black, taking off the board, one and two. First three. First three quarterbacks. The one and two pick, I'm saying, were both black quarterbacks. It has to be for the first time in history. And the full circle moment there,
Starting point is 02:25:38 they kept showing Will Levis sitting there in the green room not being drafted, which got me to laughing at when they kept showing Mac Jones. The white quarterbacks don't be looking swaggy when they back there longer than they want to be. Like, I will shout, Will's parents and siblings, they tried to hold him down. He looked cooler than I've ever seen somebody look, but you know that niggas be tight back there.
Starting point is 02:26:01 But they did the same thing to Lamar Jackson. They did. Lamar Jackson, they showed every other clip of him sitting he didn't look happy about it at all they also did the same thing to you guessed it jalen hurts so for jalen hurts and lamar jackson to be the two quarterbacks to reset the market recently and we have two black quarterbacks drafted it's just a good week to be a quarterback and a black quarterback at that. Congratulations to
Starting point is 02:26:30 Jalen Hurst, Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have Mark... And Anthony Richardson. Zaire! Hey, Zaire! What up, Zaire? I know he's happy about that. Zaire, what up, boy? He's thrilled. Yo! Hit me last night talking about, yo, send me the We Got Em.
Starting point is 02:26:44 Send me the We Got Em. I need it. Yo. Hit me last night talking about, yo, send me the we got him. Send me the we got him. I need him. I need him. Friend of the show, part of the show, brother of the show, Zaire. I feel bad now because we can't crack on him. The quarterback jokes was fun cracking on him. We can't crack on him no more. They got a young guy. They got
Starting point is 02:26:59 a young guy. They got their guy up there. Shout out to them. The Ravens have Mark Andrews, Odell, Zay Flowers, and Nelson Aguilar. Mm-hmm. I'm a lot higher on Nelson Aguilar than anybody else he's ever. He's nice. No, not me. He's nice.
Starting point is 02:27:15 I like him. He's nice. That's a nice little, you know what I mean? Congratulations to Lamar Jackson. After enduring months of ridicule, we probably had an idea. We had an idea that this would get done before the draft. I did. They're not stupid.
Starting point is 02:27:31 Same thing with that Aaron Rodgers trade. Like the draft be the day. Shout to him for holding his guns. Yeah. Betting on yourself. Shout to him for holding his guns. That was some ballsy shit. And shout out to the Ravens for doing the right thing.
Starting point is 02:27:43 Which you kind of always felt that they would, which is why how they went about it was tricky. It was confusing because the Ravens are a well-ran organization. Yes, they have not been particularly bad since they moved there. At all. Y'all not letting your MVP quarterback walk out the door. You're not doing it. You're just not doing it.
Starting point is 02:27:59 They got to play chicken. Yeah. I know that you have to do that, but that's my least favorite part of a negotiation. Thanks. I don't like it. I know you have to do it, but why are you going to lowball me, get me low on my morale, feeling bad? Now my lawyer come back with this, and your lawyer. It's so tedious.
Starting point is 02:28:19 Just stop. Just stop. You know you want me. I want to be here. Let's get closer to where it needs to be. Again, congratulations to all life changing money go ahead Lamar Jackson
Starting point is 02:28:29 go ahead sheesh the NFL draft also was last night it was boy that shit is long and drawn out
Starting point is 02:28:38 my team had the 25th pick I felt like I sat there for two and a half hours I love that shit even though my team didn't even have a pick why y'all didn even have a pick. Why y'all didn't have a pick?
Starting point is 02:28:49 From the Tom Brady tampering bullshit. Got it. The Giants got a corner. Looks good. He looks good. Eagles came up. Eagles and the Texans. Fuck the Eagles. They got the whole Georgia defense back there. They not playing at all. I was hot. Well, not the whole Georgia defense back there. Them niggas not playing. They not playing at all.
Starting point is 02:29:06 I was hot. Well, not the whole Georgia defense. Oh, no defense. I'm hot, son. I ain't going to hold you. They do it every year. Bro, they goddamn near. Well, Parks thinks he's the best.
Starting point is 02:29:15 I think he a top three pick in the draft. Yeah. Easily top three pick in the draft. If he didn't have the misdemeanor drag race and shit happen, he would have been the first pick. I hate it. Well, maybe not first because quarterbacks go, but fuck the Eagles. Congratulations.
Starting point is 02:29:34 Yeah, dog. I was tight like number nine and he got, oh man. The Texans are coming up a little bit too. That was a nice little double whammy right there. CJ Stroud's going to be a good quarterback. And then Will Anderson is nice. It just gets you excited for football season to roll around. That's it.
Starting point is 02:29:49 I'm watching tonight, too. Yeah, the Texans get CJ Stroud and Will Anderson. They move up for that trade back to back. That's some ballsy shit. Can't be mad at them. I think they smoked it. And all of the offseason shit been good so far. Yeah, it has.
Starting point is 02:30:03 That's a smart move, though, because this draft isn't particularly deep in terms of previous drafts. They said there's something like 15 blue chip players in this draft. So they were at 12, I think. They said, no, fuck that. Let me get up here. I'm going to get mine and get out of the way. I know what I want. I'm going to get it.
Starting point is 02:30:18 The Jets, I was focused on that pick because there was a big fight over the pick. Yeah. It looked like they wanted to trade that pick because there was a big fight over the pick. It looked like they wanted to trade that pick. They moved back two slots, the Jets, from 13 to 15 and they swapped with the Packers. The Packers get 13. The Packers took an edge rusher.
Starting point is 02:30:35 I want to say I'm going off memory right now. They took Van Ness. Van Ness, a guy that everybody seemed to like. They spoke very highly of him, everybody. He just is kind of young. I think it was the only knock on Van Ness, but yeah. And the Jets end up with linebacker Will McDonald
Starting point is 02:30:55 that they seem disappointed by. He's nice. That was too high by most people's big boards to draft him, but he's nice. He probably won't be much of a factor for a year or two, I would imagine, but he's talented. He's too high by most people's big boards to draft him, but he's nice. He probably won't be much of a factor for a year or two, I would imagine. But he's talented. He's super talented. I think the Jets wanted somebody.
Starting point is 02:31:11 They wanted a lineman, offensive lineman. They don't have a very good offensive lineman. That's what I thought. Still has jumped up to get that old lineman. Yeah. All the good old linemen, like I said, it's not a very deep draft. 13, 12, 13, something like that, I want to say. Right before the Jets.
Starting point is 02:31:24 And I think that's why the Jets were so disappointed. Somebody traded up. We did. We traded with New England. And took the guy that I think they wanted, which was bad. The left, I think that's the left guard for, or the left tackle. Left tackle for the Cardinals that they picked up. That big-ass boy.
Starting point is 02:31:45 That boy. Big-ass boy. That big-ass boy? Yeah. That boy. Big-ass boy. That big-ass boy. Y'all seen him? I don't know much about him. He's a big boy. But they took him at pick six, which is real early. And when they put him on the screen, like, oh, yeah, nah, I want him to protect me, too.
Starting point is 02:32:03 Like six, seven, and your arms was stupid. Somebody else got one of them long, lanky niggas that night. I like the guy the commander's got. The quarterback had six pick sixes in college. He's nice. Go ahead, get that chase over to the Cowboys. What do you think about the Cowboys?
Starting point is 02:32:20 I hate coming to you for sport, but what do you think? Can you not vacuum the fun out of this? How? By being depressing about your team. God, I'm not one of them niggas that think my team is good. That's what I'm doing. That dude, Mozzie, right?
Starting point is 02:32:33 Mozzie Smith? Is that his name? He's nice. I don't know too much about him. I heard he amazing. He's nice. He's a monster DT. Parsons seemed excited about him.
Starting point is 02:32:41 Bro, I ain't mad. He's a big guy. He's not like an edge rusher or he's not a sack machine that's just going to clog
Starting point is 02:32:50 the middle. Interchangeable pieces. Oh yeah, the run stopper guy. The run stopper guy. Monster. Monster. I'll take it.
Starting point is 02:32:55 I'm just glad that Stefan Diggs seems to be staying in Buffalo. Do all that. I ain't like them rumors. I ain't going to lie to you. Stefan,
Starting point is 02:33:04 his brother coming to Dallas. Blah, blah, blah, blah, rumors. I ain't gonna lie to you. Stephon, his brother, coming to Dallas, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I found Stephon Diggs in a grand. That nigga is a dressing motherfucker. That nigga's skin is smooth, huh? Who's Stephon?
Starting point is 02:33:16 Yeah, I'm sure, dog. I ain't wanna be around that nigga. If he'd have started singing to my girl, shit. I'm sure I could deal with it. These little niggas that's 27 with their skin looking 27 and shit. And max contracts. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:33:30 Yeah, yeah. I play these little pod wars games. There's some niggas out there. There's some real niggas out there. Y'all relax. 40, 50 a year, niggas. A year. A year.
Starting point is 02:33:40 A year. Guaranteed. Us pod niggas, we just say the number. We don't talk about years. We don't talk about the years. 20, 30, 40. Yeah, I know. That's too cool.
Starting point is 02:33:49 For 30 years. Yo, I got 30 million. For 37 years. It's a lifetime contract. Lifetime contract. Speaking of lifetime contracts, Kevin Durant, round of applause, has a lifetime contract. Yeah, that's dope. With Nike.
Starting point is 02:34:02 Clap it up. Clap it up. Clap it up. Clap it up. That's dope. Clap it up. Clap it up. Clap it up. That's dope. Clap it up. Clap it up. Clap it up.
Starting point is 02:34:06 That's crazy, y'all. Kevin Durant is going to get Chris Paul a ring. He may. And then you're fucked, buddy. Motherfucker. Motherfucker. Parz is going to be mad when Chris Paul gets a ring. No, I actually like him now that I've learned that he's a dirty player.
Starting point is 02:34:21 Learned? He's been a dirty player. Word. He's been dirty. He's been dirty. It got some more notoriety this last season. They got a whole compilation. Yeah, no doubt. Like long ones, boss.
Starting point is 02:34:32 Yeah, I like that. Oh, man. It's good. I like how anytime we just want to have like a real guy moment and get rid of these two newbie ass niggas that wasn't here for us from the jump. All we got to do is talk about sports. All we got to do is talk about two newbie ass niggas knuck right up.
Starting point is 02:34:47 They knuck right up. Then it's like the old days. You know what I mean? Yeah, Tom Brady. I think he could have. Yeah, nigga. What's up? What's up, nigga?
Starting point is 02:34:56 Yeah. Anyway. My son Flip going to start watching sports. He's going to be on niggas ass, ain't you, Flip? I know, but Jamaican sports only. He ain't going to
Starting point is 02:35:05 watch no American sports. Cricket. Stop. Yo. You hear him? You hear him? You hear him? It's not me?
Starting point is 02:35:11 You hear your man? You my man. It's your man Nimble. They don't like that. They don't like that. Now you're going to weaponize your people against us?
Starting point is 02:35:18 You phony ass nigga. You little phony ass. You're going to weaponize your people? The last part about the axe. You're going to weaponize more of your people against me? The machete. the axe. You going to weaponize more of your people than you think, that machete?
Starting point is 02:35:27 Yo, man, I like the joke, you make? Yeah. Oh, oh, oh. Yo, what the fuck are you doing, bro? You making fun of your workers, nigga? Yo, Yoan Kiki. Enough of your workers. Yoan Kiki.
Starting point is 02:35:37 Hey, nigga, I'm Jamaican. Hold up. Relax. I'm offended now. Yoan Kiki. Yo, stop. Yo, you like American Jamaican, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:35:46 Yeah. All right. All right. Exactly. Shout out to my Jamaicans, my Haitians. I love y'all. All right, we here. Haitian food was good.
Starting point is 02:35:52 Thank you. That shit was good. Invite me. I think you did, though. Yep. Hilarious. Please stop. Because if there's one more think piece out there.
Starting point is 02:36:04 Yo, if I see one more think piece. That shit is fun. About, yo, y'all think piece That shit is fun. about, yo, y'all think Ice wrong for not doing the live stream. Shut up. Yo,
Starting point is 02:36:11 fucking bitch. Shut up. Shut up. Yeah, that shit is annoying. I hate them. He's not wrong. No,
Starting point is 02:36:18 Ice is not wrong, but they don't know that. Ice is not wrong in that. They don't know anything. They're on the other side of the camera. Please do, Joe. That's insulting. Just dismiss it to say, hey, you don't know anything on the other side of the camera that's insulting yeah just dismiss it to say hey you don't think that's not shit let me explain to y'all uh as you uh as you get more experience in the media content space you just learn all
Starting point is 02:36:36 these different avenues that you can get a check and there's a lot of them live streaming is one of them so yeah some people have in their contract hey live streaming is exclusive to here or if you're trying to get an exclusive live streaming contract then you can't just pop up on everybody's fucking live stream like that now it's a give and take with that because the look is what they say in hip-hop the look the look the look the look you would do for the look visibility the look so that's able You want to do it for the look, do it for the look. Visibility, the look, look, look, look, look. So that's on everybody to make their own decision. But Ice is not wrong. My kid can't eat the look.
Starting point is 02:37:09 That's all. I say that all the time about the look. That's not true, though. My kid can't eat the look. That's not true. He can really. That's not true. He can really go at you.
Starting point is 02:37:16 But that's on you to decide which looks bring it back for you. That's on you. OK. I respect that. But the look. That's my fight with Ian for a long time, too. He run around looking for the, oh, let's get up
Starting point is 02:37:27 to a great commercial opportunity. I'm like, yeah, nigga. It's weekend paid or what, nigga? Oh, trust me, it'll come back in other avenues. Dog, niggas don't want to hear that shit right now. A weekend paid or not.
Starting point is 02:37:39 That's the other theory. You seen that one going around? Which one? That we take secret ad dollars to talk about shit. Oh, God. Well, that one I like. I like that one going around? Which one? That we take secret ad dollars to talk about shit. Oh, God. Well, that one I like. I like that one a lot.
Starting point is 02:37:49 They told us. Because they pretend to know everything else in the world. But you can't quite know this one, so it's a guess. They talk about these movies. They talk about this. Is it an ad? Oh, my God, the sleepers are getting paid. Wait, can you even not disclose when it's an ad?
Starting point is 02:38:04 I like all that. I like all that. I like all that. I do. And I wasn't being dismissive and saying they don't know. That's just the truth, though. You're on the other side of the camera. It's all guesses. You're not physically in the room with us to know conversations,
Starting point is 02:38:15 to know what really happens. That's the truth. So that's why when I say they don't know, they really do not know. You're just sitting there guessing. There's nothing wrong with it. But when we say they don't know, Flip didn't know neither. So we had to tell.
Starting point is 02:38:26 He was offended at first. He can't show up. He was hot. No, not really. But it's a business decision. That's all. Because I was with these companies before as well. So I understand.
Starting point is 02:38:34 Oh, got it. I just negotiate my contract different. It's not going to work. Flip, is it true? Is it true? Is it true? Is it true? Is it true?
Starting point is 02:38:43 It's not going to work. I made six figures with shot. It's a shot. It's all right. It's not going to work. I made six figures with caffeine. I negotiate my shit different. I'm just telling you. I didn't say nothing about caffeine. I'm just saying I negotiate it different. I see what you're attempting to do. You guys cannot tell me.
Starting point is 02:38:52 Yeah, but high six or low six? High six. Are you crazy? I'm Queens Flip. You can't, guys can't. That's why my shit got fucked up. Now you're going to say it. You can't tell me how I look at it because I stream often.
Starting point is 02:39:03 I'm going to say that. You can't tell me where or where I cannot stream. They do have those type of exclusive contracts. Well, no. Correct. You have just been fortunate enough to get a carve out. I understand. Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 02:39:17 I probably do. Salute. And you got to be able to ask for certain things to even get them. I'm not saying Ice wouldn't be able to get a carve out. Ice that nigga. You got to work for the carve out. But I hate. Let. Not saying Ice wouldn't be able to get a carve out. Ice that nigga. You got to work for the carve out. But I hate, let me just say this. Say this real quick before we move on.
Starting point is 02:39:30 One last time. Because my man don't want to do it, that don't change that. They try to divide us. Yeah, that don't change that. That's my man. We just down. They try to divide us every month.
Starting point is 02:39:39 Hey, yo, let me tell y'all something. Since we said it. And it's my fault. I take full responsibility. Thank you. It's none of y'all's fault. The only thing I don't like about my brothers is that they get mad when I listen to you n y'all something. Since we sat. And it's my fault. I take full responsibility. Thank you. It's none of y'all's fault. The only thing I don't like about my brothers is that they get mad when I listen to you niggas out here.
Starting point is 02:39:49 You don't see me look at my brother in the eyes? I'm so sorry. When I listen to you niggas here, because sometimes we on the break and I'm listening, my brothers get mad. Like, why you listening to them niggas? That's the only thing I don't like about them niggas. Because in my contract, they're not supposed to judge me.
Starting point is 02:40:00 I didn't sign your contract. In my contract, I don't get judged. But look. My hands up, Karen. I'm going to tell you. Hey, Flip. Keep it in the book. Keep it in the book.
Starting point is 02:40:10 Keep it in the book. I don't get mad at you. Listen to them niggas. You know what I get mad at? What? You become a sponge. Okay. Meaning like whatever they say, whatever the masses say, you soak that up and you come
Starting point is 02:40:21 in and become that. You internalize and modify your behavior based on what they're saying really? yes why you don't think I modify my behavior based on how I feel or if I watch something and say well I shouldn't have did this at that time I gotta learn my pockets why you think that they don't influence me
Starting point is 02:40:37 hey yo you told me chill yo yo yo what was that move our media training is next week Yo, yo, yo. He's going to be chill. What's going on? Yo, yo, yo. What was that move? I knew he was going to run into something. I'm going to be like, what's going on? Our media training is next week. Next week.
Starting point is 02:40:50 May 4th. I can't wait for y'all to go. And don't try to call out. Especially you, Lil' Miss. Yeah, yo, you. Hey, I'm the one that's agreed to the time. You still haven't agreed to the time yet. Lil' Miss, Microwave Line Missy.
Starting point is 02:41:00 You need to be early. Microwave Line Missy. You might need to do two classes. Are we doing it here? No, we're doing it on Zoom. Wherever it is, you're going to be there. We're to do two classes. Are we doing it here? No, we're doing it on Zoom. You're going to be there. We're doing it on Zoom. I'm doing it here, then.
Starting point is 02:41:10 Okay, I'll open the door. I'm going to watch it. Talk to Erickson tonight. Talk to somebody. He's not with Erickson. I'm with an extra shit. I'll do it from the ring. I'll bust the gate.
Starting point is 02:41:17 We'll figure it out. What else? What else? What else? What else? What else? What else? What else?
Starting point is 02:41:23 Hey, man, before we end sports, hold on. Hold on. I got to shout out my Devils, man. I don't even watch hockey, but I'm shouting out my Devils. Against the Rangers? Yeah, because niggas was blowing my phone up. It's Big Jersey. It's Big Jersey, and niggas was blowing my phone up when the Devils was down 2-0.
Starting point is 02:41:37 Who was blowing your phone up over hockey? Hockey's big, bro. Yeah, it is. I'm surprised. And hockey's big in New York, for sure, especially when the New York teams are playing. Yeah, it was hockey big. I didn't know this. I was like, well, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 02:41:50 Yeah, y'all down 2-0. Well, now we up 3-2. Hockey is nuts over here. You know the devil's playing Newark. I'm aware. So it's definitely. I'm surprised the ISIS friends are on his ass about hockey. Oh.
Starting point is 02:42:03 What you trying to say, Park? Don't put me in no box, Bart. My bad, my bad. My bad, my bad. And that's the only tan he got in Jersey, That's your whole way
Starting point is 02:42:12 out, my bad. You get out a lot of shit with that, my bad. That shit ain't gonna work no more. No, my bad, Fliss. I'm sorry. My bad, my bad.
Starting point is 02:42:19 It'll stole the nets from us, so we gotta be proud at the moment. God damn it. We don't have no other teams. I was shocked to see the Devils. Thought them niggas no no no no the rangers been there every year
Starting point is 02:42:32 i don't really know understand what y'all talking about the rangers in the finals in the stanley cup recently they're talking about the devil every year what are y'all talking about that's the fact they were in the final they weren't the finals they weren't it's been as far as hockey yeah google it's been a rangers it's been been a Rangers town for the last four years, five years. I don't care about the past. The Devils have done nothing. But I'm from New Jersey, so I can't say that. You just said it, you idiot.
Starting point is 02:42:55 Let's wait for him to Google. Let's wait for Library. That's why your AI character look corny like that. Look what you do. Library just Googles. Look at that answer. Look at Library. Look at bum do. Library just Googles. Look at that intro. Look at Library. Look at bum-ass Library.
Starting point is 02:43:09 They put you in a plain black hoodie. Nothing superhero-ish. It's just superpowers. Yo, they didn't even give you your taper. They didn't even give you your young nigga taper. He had the 70s haircut and that shit. Old as hell. Bum-ass Library.
Starting point is 02:43:26 He's just up there collecting late fees you know this book should have been back you know you should have returned this book last week you know that that's gonna be
Starting point is 02:43:32 18 cent buddy page master ass yeah bum ass nigga what you looking for nothing I was looking at his Stanley Cup
Starting point is 02:43:41 bullshit he said and what'd you find out that I'm right that the Devils won more frequent I mean more recently than the Rangers Nothing. He's still in. I was looking at his Stanley Cup bullshit. He said. And what'd you find out? That I'm right. That the Devils won more frequent. I mean, more recently than the Rangers. Wait, what? That the Devils won more recently than the Rangers.
Starting point is 02:43:55 What year did the Devils win, man? Won what? 03 and 2000. Oh, no, no, no. I wasn't trying to say the Rangers won. I said they were in the Stanley Cup. They lost. But they were there.
Starting point is 02:44:05 And that was a big deal. New York was lit. It was going crazy in the Stanley Cup. They lost. But they were there. That was a big deal. New York was lit. They was going crazy. Yeah, New York was lit. But we didn't win. We didn't win. You were seeing niggas that you didn't even think watch hockey at the games. I didn't know I lived across the street from a hockey bar
Starting point is 02:44:15 until the Rangers was there. They were going crazy over there. What? I was like, oh, shit. Yo, I wanted to ask Ice and maybe Flip. What do y'all think about Young Thug posting the Gunna shit? I saw that. I mean, that's a message to me.
Starting point is 02:44:33 Twitter's celebrating saying that Gunna has beat the snitch allegations. Yeah. Everybody said, we waiting to see what Thug say about it. That's the one who can tell you if he feel you know this was you know snitching not snitching we wait everybody said it was waiting to see what thug feel about it so if a thug to post his his uh music shit what do you think everything's all good y'all could you could you explain to the listeners what do you post young thug posted a muse a link to gunner's music on his Instagram page.
Starting point is 02:45:06 That was all he's done. Okay. That's it. Ice is saying everything that he just said. Yo, we was waiting to see what Thug had to say. Now Thug posted. I ain't giving a shit. I'm still going to listen to the music.
Starting point is 02:45:21 I'm talking about the rest of those who were saying like he was in limbo of cancel. I was saying let's see what Thug has to say. And not like that. I don't have a horse in this race. I ain't no let's see what Thug has to say. And not like that, right? I don't have a horse in this race. I ain't no street nigga. But it's nice to know. But I was saying, let's see what Thug has to say. Thug posting this link,
Starting point is 02:45:33 don't tell me what Thug has to say. It don't. But he's saying something. I don't know if Thug posted this link. Yeah, somebody else did it. I don't know if somebody else did it. It's a fact. I also don't know,
Starting point is 02:45:42 like Thug behind the wall right now could just be really trying to get every coin owed to him gonna steal his artist. Whether I morally agree with what you did or not, I need to get this money and I'm posting the fucking link. Whoever buy it, you buy it, but that's what I'm on right now. I only say I don't know what
Starting point is 02:46:00 I don't know. All I know is everybody who was sitting there saying we waiting, we waiting, we waiting. I saw the reaction when they saw the link, say, all right. Oh, you're talking about the living room detectives? Yeah. Living room detectives, the living room gang members. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 02:46:14 The living room gangsters, living room street niggas, living room shooters, living room stick up kids, living room muggers, living room UFC fighters, y'all niggas. The mousepad mobsters, the keyboard gangsters. There you go, mousepad mobsters. I like cases. There you go. Mouse pad mobsters. I like that. I like that. Mouse pad mobsters.
Starting point is 02:46:26 I stole that from Star. I did. But just steal it then. Don't tell them where you stole it from. Damn to come see you. Damn to come say, yo, that's my shit. You're scared though. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 02:46:39 Part of the show. This sounds serious. I only read one sentence. So I'll read it to y'all in real time. This is from a gentleman named Q Butter. Hey, Q Butter. What's up, Q? Q Butter says, is there more I can do?
Starting point is 02:46:53 Question mark. I am currently out on bail looking at two felonies for shooting. Self-defense, first-time offender. My older sister is currently serving six years for trafficking. Before she went in, she was acting a little naive that she was going to do time. So my pops is on the fence with her,
Starting point is 02:47:13 sometimes doesn't even answer her calls. And he's starting to get a little short with me because it's been almost a year and there's no news, no date no nothing in February finished paying my lawyer in full 15k I've been keeping pops updated knowing this every time we talk he gets upset when there's no news basically I'm nonchalant um I'm nonchalant basically I'm nonchalant like shit sweet in his eyes but really I'm just trying not to stress out over stuff that's out of my hands. Is he right? Should I be at should I be at the lawyer's office or calling him often asking for updates and strategy to tackle the case? Or am I right? Breathe easy until the information comes. P.S. Special thanks to Ice
Starting point is 02:48:06 for being decent enough to say on air that he'll take a listen to my music. Much appreciated. Well, I'm going to listen too now that I know your whole family in jail, nigga.
Starting point is 02:48:16 I got, I got. Yeah, he sent it to me. I'm going to check it out. All right. What do we think about this? I agree with him. Why would I be sitting at home stressing out? If I got to go in, I got to go in.
Starting point is 02:48:28 If I don't, I don't. And to be honest, every day that you ain't get a court date yet is another day you're on the streets free. True. So I'm not. You know what I mean? I'll postpone that shit to the next six years. I wouldn't give a fuck. But they're not talking about him.
Starting point is 02:48:43 They're talking about his sister. No, his sister already locked up. Yeah. Him. He's talking about his father. but then I told him about him they told my sister no his sister already locked up yeah him he's talking about his father I feel like the basic question was
Starting point is 02:48:49 should he just like you said enjoy life and let it happen or should I be kicking down the door at the lawyer's office every day
Starting point is 02:48:56 no I'm gonna sit there I don't want my lawyer going in there raising no flat no fuss no nothing yo my guy
Starting point is 02:49:01 need a date no I don't and then they look up and say oh shit you know what we meant to file this and damn alright so if he's talking about him no fuss, no nothing. Yo, my guy need to date. No, I don't. And then they look up and say, oh, shit, you know what? We meant to file this, and damn, I am.
Starting point is 02:49:09 All right, so if he's talking about him, which I can see what y'all saying, then I'm with y'all. Get as much box as you can, Q Butter. If he talking about him, I wouldn't want to keep my mind on that, especially when I've paid somebody and that's their job. No news sometimes is good news.
Starting point is 02:49:22 It can get... And every day out here, hopefully you win your case. Hopefully. You know what I'm saying? They don't have to go in, but yeah. Yeah, they probably still trying to gather information. They don't have enough information.
Starting point is 02:49:34 There's a lot of shit that come with that. All of that. Okay. Well, I hope we were able to help. Yeah, salute. Salute. And good luck with everything, with your case, with your sister's case. With the music. And with the music and just with your dad's understanding of things.
Starting point is 02:49:48 True. Like good luck with all of it. Freeze, you got his music? Yeah, I didn't get to listen to it. I just saw it yesterday. OK. Is there anything else burning a hole in our heart? We can get to Janet Jackson later. Right back on, J.D. our heart we can get to Janet Jackson later right back on JD you him you him Melissa didn't understand how they were ever even in a relationship I did not
Starting point is 02:50:13 say that yes you did Melissa stop I did not say that what did you say what did you imply I didn't imply anything there was an insinuation made that she was dating him for the hits. It was not my... I'm done with you.
Starting point is 02:50:29 It was not me. She was like, why would Janet Jackson need to date me? That's not what I said. That's what she did. That's how she behaved. Why would Janet need to date Jermaine Dupri for the hits? That is not what I said. That is not what I said.
Starting point is 02:50:42 That is not what I said. That is not what I said. Okay, respect what I said. That is not what I said. Well, you don't remember, right? What? You don't remember? Repeat what you said. Yeah, you ain't have to, though. We can talk about that on Patreon, Jonathan Majors.
Starting point is 02:50:59 Restrained order. We can talk about that on Patreon. Is a man wrong for breaking up with a girl because her kid is bad? Oh, shit. Hold on. No, we're not. Sorry. We're not.
Starting point is 02:51:16 The badder the kid, the more fire the pussy is. But that little nigga will come in the room. I'm like, them little bad kids coming when they punch you and shit, hit you. Man, fuck them little bad kids, bro. They bad, they hit you, play around. You trying to be nice to the kid to show him love, nigga, to get the pussy. And they punch you in your balls, that type of shit. They all slap fire out of kids.

Starting point is 02:51:45 and then I would play too much, and then he'd get hurt and start crying, so his mom hit it. Here she come. What happened to little Jerry? Oh, shit, I don't know. Why you keep talking about Jerry? I don't know. Jerry.
Starting point is 02:51:55 It's a funny name. Why is Jerry screaming? Oh, I have no idea. It must have been the toy. He stepped on a Lego. That firetruck, the ladder, I don't know. Listen, great show

Starting point is 03:10:00 And I'm not talking about her. Hey, my girl recently, she slowed down. And we drop a lot of content So She slowed down With catching everything She made sure to catch that last one She listened to that whole thing
Starting point is 03:10:11 She was cleaning the house with it It was on the TV Had whatever Mel said About group trips And I'm gonna be there Ain't work did it My baby was listening And my baby don't play
Starting point is 03:10:20 Oh shit Oh your baby don't play Uh uh Wow But you don't never come home And share Come Oh, your baby don't play? Mm-mm. Wow. But you don't never come home and share with us that you get ridiculed for jokes. Wait, what does that mean? I don't even know what he's trying to say right now. You know what he's trying to say?
Starting point is 03:10:33 I don't know what he's trying to say. Oh, he's trying to say, oh. But Flip is right. You don't share with us, even behind the scenes, that, yo, stop that. We'll stop, nigga. If you tell me. The second I see you not stand next to Mel for a group pic,
Starting point is 03:10:46 I'm going to stop. But I keep... I'm not joking around. I keep... No, no. This is my problem. I've known Ish for so long, I've seen him be
Starting point is 03:10:56 a real stand-up nigga on so many different occasions that I assume Alpha Male has everything under control, so I play around. I do. I do. But I assume Alpha Male
Starting point is 03:11:04 has everything. Alpha Al has everything under control. I don around I do I do but I assume alpha male has everything alpha al that's everything under control I don't pretend to be alpha this Scorpio bitches nuts and I'm treated I treated that well so the other day before your show and then I'll play some music and we'll leave I was no we won't leave we'll do sure sure well I'll do paint I'll do patreon we'll fucking laugh some more but the other day and this is gonna end with a question to y'all the other day I wake up late I got to the show late you remember I woke up late but that's really because I woke
Starting point is 03:11:34 up early I woke up at 3 30 in the morning 4 in the morning was up chilling lamp and having a blast till about 8 and I was like I should probably lay it back down for a little bit. So I lay back down, fall asleep at 8.30, I wake up late, like after 11. I was supposed to be here at 10.45. The people in my life know I don't play about work. I don't miss work. I ain't late for work, none of that. So I woke up to 99 texts. Corey, keep inb, Ian, you. But the one person that was like adamant about getting in touch with me and where am I? It's my baby.
Starting point is 03:12:13 It's my girl. So her texts sounded like I died. Yo, you ain't never leaving. Why are you? I'm getting worried about you. Hit me right now. All of that shit.
Starting point is 03:12:24 Right? So I confront it. Has'm getting worried about you. Hit me right now. It was all that shit, right? So I confront it. Has to be an accountability system. Yo, I should be able to wake up late for work. Like, I should be able to go back to sleep, wake up a little late, and get there without the whole world panicking. Okay.
Starting point is 03:12:42 Know what she said? I know you don't be late for work and I didn't want the killer to get away. That's heavy. It sounded like it makes sense. So it stumped me for a second. And then I had to think. Because when girls say stupid shit, I'd be having to think.
Starting point is 03:13:08 Because they got counters to the stupid shit that they say. So then I said, I'm only 20 minutes late. I was 20 minutes late from work. You thought that the killer, you thought that a nigga, if somebody's missing, they don't get longer than 20 minutes. Like even if you call the cops, they say, yo, nigga, 75 hours of the missing person. So then I wanted to come and ask y'all, since you said that stupid shit. How long can you get missing before people that care and love you think that there's a real problem? What is our real nigga time frame of that? My girl is nuts,
Starting point is 03:13:48 so that was just for entertainment purposes. But what's the real version of that? I have almost damn near a routine. I speak to my moms every morning. Same, same. If the phone call comes to me and I don't answer, okay, cool.
Starting point is 03:14:04 Maybe a text will come. But after after let's say it's 12 one o'clock in the morning like it's been times where I went out the night before and I was smack yeah you try I'm trying to sleep this shit off all of that but because it's out of the norm yeah that's what it was they think something's wrong that you immediately go to panic mode well that's their way of hating because they know we was turning up with bitches, yo. Now they on time. Since I've been here, you know, you've been on time all the time. So that's why.
Starting point is 03:14:31 Yeah, once it's out the door. But I was like, wait, what's going on? Ian was, I said, nigga, let's start, nigga. Ian was like, hold on. I want to wait. Ian said, I want to wait. Oh, damn. He's so concerned.
Starting point is 03:14:40 Let's start. Let's start. Let's start. He didn't want to start. He was like, fuck it, he ain't here. Fuck it. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:14:48 Show him what's going on. I was happy he was okay, but at one time we got worried. We were like, I said, what the nigga fell down the stairs? It's some crazy shit. We checking citizens. We checking mad shit.
Starting point is 03:15:01 You was worried a little bit. Get the fuck out of here. I hate niggas that come home That act like that I wasn't worried Yeah, I'm pretty, but I'm low, girl The loud got me moving slow, boy Ayo, Tweety, where the hoes, boy
Starting point is 03:15:15 And, man, we love you Ayo, Keys, where the hoes, though That other nigga, he a bozo It's the man, you don't know We got liquor by the boat Yo, man, hope y'all enjoyed this show As much as we've enjoyed delivering it to you Keep us in your prayers

Starting point is 03:15:49 You just keep on running on your hungry shit Ignore that hate, ignore the fake Remember, life is a series of moments We gon' get a honey clip And moments pass, so let's make this one last As if it's all that we have Y'all hold it down, man Till the next time
Starting point is 03:16:09 Yo, Eli, why they texting me? And lastly, the baddies are insecure, they're stagnant Women wanna travel in the closed mind, and women want you to teach them things Like, we ain't in these streets more than sex with me What else? But that shit chick, then why she texting me? What else? Why she keep calling my phone speaking sexually every time I'm out why she stressed you call the Stephanie I call a heaven
