How many Grateful Dead albums you got? I mean, a lot of shit you guys appropriate. You know what I'm saying? You guys. Who's you guys? The whites. I just put a Grateful Dead on because I like the colors. It's a nice shirt.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Yeah, thank you. You're welcome. Thank you. You seem very biased about this shirt. You like it? I do. I like the shirt. Oh.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Thank you. You got any Grateful Dead albums? No. I don't know who they are. All right. Point to Park. I got four shirts of Grateful Dead albums no I don't know who they are alright point point I got four shirts of Grateful Dead
Starting point is 00:01:08 you asked a very interesting question at the start I did but I forgot what I asked interesting to someone out there
Starting point is 00:01:17 because the audience is so large that even if we say something egregiously stupid there's a few of y'all out there that agree I've been learning that
Starting point is 00:01:24 I've been seeing that a. I've been learning that. I've been seeing that a lot lately. Me too. I've been learning that. I've been reading shit like, oh, you're stupid too. What was the question? I got to tell you your question? Yes. Why'd you get these couches?
Starting point is 00:01:43 I believe was the question. I just went to go get a back pillow. Yeah, man. I'm old. Lumbar support right here. I forgot about that. Ice went to go get a back pillow. Wait, no.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Melissa has a back pillow, and that's fine. It's fine for Mel to do it? Yes. Okay. Okay. Keep going. And then Ice asked for one. And it wasn't fine.
Starting point is 00:02:02 No, no, no. That's not fine. No, no, no. I was like, oh, shit. You think that's fine? We got lumbar? I need that. Antoine. I was excited. Antoine. The fuck? Antoine. Leave me alone. I'm asking you. We all have a job to do.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Yo, leave me alone. We all have a job to do. No. There's nothing wrong with ice getting a pillow job. Why did you get these couches? Take a stab at it. The aesthetic? Yes. The way it looks?
Starting point is 00:02:27 Yeah, nigga. They're aesthetically pleasing. These couches are grade A bullshit. Are you crazy? Flip, they just went viral this weekend. They look nice, but this shit, really this? This low shit? Yeah, this cow was a blue one.
Starting point is 00:02:42 This shit was a low viral. And you 5'3", so imagine me. This shit like you drop down and get your eagle on. If you want to get your eagle on, ladies, practice on this couch. Somebody put one of these outside of their apartment. It was an electric blue couch, and that shit got swept up inside of like 2.5 seconds. It was like on the street. They left it outside on the street.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I understand why they threw that shit out. Me too. Well, it was pretty rough looking too. Sort of written. And it was pretty rough sitting too. The couch had seen a lot of action. So the name of this couch is called Electric Blue? No, the color.
Starting point is 00:03:12 That was the color. So it was this couch, but it was just in the color of Electric Blue. Yo, yo, stop. Nigga, you go to restoration. It's an all-white couch. He thought the name was a company. I thought the name was a company. You go to restoration hardware, nigga, they don't restore nothing.
Starting point is 00:03:28 They don't restore shit. They might have started off restoring. Oh, man. That's a good point. What's the name of these couches, Joe? Can you tell us? Do you know the name of these, the company that makes this? Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:40 These couches are sold in a bundle package called the Perspective Sevens. That's what they're called. It's fancy and expensive. They're called the Perspective Sevens. I bought couches that were aesthetically pleasing to the set. What about your back condition? The eye test. Does it affect your back condition?
Starting point is 00:04:00 Oh, who cares about my back condition? Does it affect it? Yes or no? I don't care. I've sacrificed my life. I put my life on the line. It don't affect it. I put my life on the line I'm not you you clock and clock Clock in you say it's Coe. You don't really be Coe. Could you clock in and clock out? I sacrifice my life
Starting point is 00:04:14 I'm gonna die for this. It's different So you can speak about back pain if you like I'm not your chiropractor Yeah, what's up? Yeah, what's up? Yeah, what's up? What's shaking? What's up? What's popping? What's popping? I don't care what he's talking about. How y'all doing? What's up? Talk to me. Talk to me. Talk to me.

Starting point is 00:23:15 No. What is that? That's where you go to the church and they pray away your problems. Yeah, your disabilities suddenly, you know, if you're blind, you suddenly see after the pastor puts his hands on you, touches you. No, after you write your check to the pastor,
Starting point is 00:23:29 then you can see, right? The touch ain't free. Yeah. So no one here believes in the miracle churches. No. No. I just want to be clear.

Starting point is 00:23:49 I figured you guys would say that. Which is fine. I do believe it's possible. I don't know if I believe in them either. But I see some clips going around of miracle churches. And one of them, a little girl rolled down on a wheelchair. This is my favorite clip. I love this clip.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Hello? Come on. I ain't see the clip, so you got to. You ain't got to. I shouldn't even have to say another word. You can picture this. I want to know how bad it got, though. She rolled down there.
Starting point is 00:24:20 She got everybody, everybody. Get your room. She rolled down there. The preacher said some eeny, meeny, miny, moe shit, mushed her in the face, kicked her. Then she got up. Start crip walking. And by the grace of somebody,
Starting point is 00:24:39 start walking out the church. And then everybody in the church start getting up screaming and clapping and shit. So I was like, listen, I'm not mad at a good scam. We're in America. But the kids? Ain't that a little flagrant
Starting point is 00:24:52 to use the kids? And the second I started thinking that, I thought to myself, yo, mad parents use their kids for the scam. Yes! Mad parents use their kids.
Starting point is 00:25:02 I think this is more common than we think. I know. I see it every day. These fucking parents come up to you. Hey, man. Can my kid get a picture with you? My kid really loves you.
Starting point is 00:25:15 The kid be right there saying, I don't give a fuck about him, dad. I don't know him. No, I'm cool. I prompt trust. I don't want this pic. Now, the new one be, this is a sad one. No, I'm cool. I prompt trust. I don't want this pic. Now, the new one be, this is a sad one.
Starting point is 00:25:29 When they really be panhandling with the kids. Yeah. It's crazy. That's the fucked up one. Are y'all mad at people that use kids in the scam? Absolutely. Depends on the scale, I guess.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Some of the kids out there are the scam. The football scam. What are y'all talking about? Yeah, the jerseys. Y'all come here with all your fucking... No, no, no, they get me. The football niggas get me. I'll be giving them.
Starting point is 00:25:50 I'll be like, yo, you nice? What position you play? He'll be like, yo, I play guard. I play... I'll be like... You just want the chocolate. No, no. I don't even...
Starting point is 00:25:58 I got no kid near my hood. I put that shit right in the jar. They get everything in my pocket. So they're not even Selling anything Nah They just walk up to you Like yo Did you donate
Starting point is 00:26:08 Like uniforms and shit Yeah And I was that kid before The kids on the train That sells the shit For the team Nah I'm talking about I see the skin
Starting point is 00:26:15 You was that kid before You made it from that All the way to Harvard Wherever you went Yo you never played Oh you didn't play low league I didn't sell no candy Nah we ain't selling neither
Starting point is 00:26:22 We would stand Yeah no bullshit We would stand on the corner. Yeah, no bullshit. We would stand on the corner trying to raise money for our uniforms and shit. I saw Russell Westbrook shut down a scam where the kid tried to get the jersey signed. I'm a fan of yours. He's like, no, I'm good. So a lot of people are mad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Don't use your kid to get an autograph and then the parent go on eBay and sell it for half a ticket or some shit. No, get out of here. They do. Yeah. You got to personalize the autograph. What's your name? Oh, little Jimmy from your number one.
Starting point is 00:26:53 That was definitely a scam, kid. It was? Girl guide cookies. What the fuck? Where'd the money go? Girl what? Girl guide cookies. I'm sorry?
Starting point is 00:27:01 Girl guide or girl scouts? Oh, sorry. What in the Canada are you fucking talking about? What? Girl guide cookies? Girl Guide or Girl Scouts? Oh, sorry! What in the Canada are you fucking talking about? Girl Guide Cookies? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what?
Starting point is 00:27:12 Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what?
Starting point is 00:27:20 Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? Girl what? In Canada, Girl Scouts are called Girl Guides. Oh, guides. Guides. Guides. Yes, guides. Brownies, Girl Guides, Pathfinders.
Starting point is 00:27:31 I never got past Pathfinders. Oh, this is like that pizza shop scandal. So what do you call the Girl Guide? Girl Guide? Money. That don't even sound. Yeah, no, I'm cool. Yeah, I'm good. Wait, and you were a Girl Guide?
Starting point is 00:27:44 I was a Girl guide. I know. I had, like, a sash. I had, like... Alright, Melissa Ford. Melissa Ford. Did you go to class or what? Can you stop drawing on yourself? Sash. Oh, sorry. Okay. Being guided by... Alright. I still don't know. Got it. Guiding principles, I fucking don't know.
Starting point is 00:28:00 I never saw an ounce of the money from the cookies I sold. Well, they could get me with the Thin Mints. I'm paying. You got it, fam. Those shits are good. What is the most important thing that we have to discuss here? I was home dreading some of these topics.
Starting point is 00:28:18 And I'll be honest, this first one we about to get to, which I'm sure is Envy and Ross, I was trying to shut up until it kind of subsided. It keeps growing. It's been the gift that keeps giving. Yeah. They keep going. So where do we begin? This started over a car show.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Yes. Ross is doing, I believe it's his second one, the car show at his promised land estate. Car show, rodeo. At the crib. I mean, that's the way it's promoted. This is the second one. The car show at his promised land estate. Car show, rodeo. At the crib. Fair. I mean, that's the way it's promoted.
Starting point is 00:28:50 I ain't mad at him. I ain't mad at that shit either. But it's still the crib. I'm not going to call it the fancy name. That's day job. The estate. Nah, fuck that. Yeah, like Drake's shit is named something ill. But that's the crib, nigga.
Starting point is 00:29:00 The crib that I'm going to write off. Yeah. Yeah, nah, it's that. This ain't the crib. I've rented this crib For this particular event For a zillion dollars And it's a farm
Starting point is 00:29:08 And we didn't make our money back Look we ain't make the money back Yeah I ain't mad at him I'm not mad at him I'm not mad at none of you At all But um And Envy has been doing a car show
Starting point is 00:29:18 For a little bit now So When I first saw this I thought They were in it together. Yo, let's just get a little chippy. Let's diss each other. Build some marketing type of shit.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Come together, make up, and then I'll bring my cars down here and we can do it together type of shit. But as this went on... It wasn't that. Yeah, this is... Disrespect has been introduced now, and I don't think they're playing no more.
Starting point is 00:29:40 But what's the beef? Car show. They both have car shows. Envy's been doing car shows and been touring with his car shows. About six, seven years. And Ross's the beef? Car show. They both have car shows. Envy's been doing car shows and been touring with his car shows. And Ross is now doing a car show.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Hip hop's come a long way, man. I didn't, I didn't. So Envy fired the first shot, yes? He's the only one that can have a car show? He says that
Starting point is 00:29:57 Ross fired the first shot. I do want to, oh, go ahead. No, no, I'm not, I'm looking for another clip. Go ahead. Go ahead. Envy says Ross fired the first shot on Drink Chips.
Starting point is 00:30:09 In mentioning his show. I don't really know where it began at, but... I got to hear it. Me too. I would have to hear it to see what the shot was. If it was an actual shot. Yeah, because you mentioning somebody ain't a shot. Yeah, but if you mention it in a spicy type of way.
Starting point is 00:30:27 So if that's the case, then every black podcaster in the world is taking a shot at Joe because they can't keep their name out of his mouth every podcast they do. Well, that's a fact. Well, they are taking a shot. But they'll say it's not a shot. See? Well, that's called throwing the rock in high. See what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:30:42 So I don't know. I got to hear it to see if Ross said. He might have. I don't know. Well, that's where, again, and they went back and forth. It seemed pretty clean. Hilarious. Yeah, it was funny.
Starting point is 00:30:55 And then, you know, Ross walking around, yo, I want your kids to come clean this. And it got a little, now now you bringing the kids into it the next one He said I want you your girlfriend to come steam my steps and he's walking around the crib showing What I want your family to come do to work for my crib the very last one Ross did is He was yeah, I'm not Envious I know you still at work on the Charlemagne Breakfast Show. But when you get off work, envious. This is swimming pool number two.
Starting point is 00:31:33 And guess what I want this time? Envious. I want you and your boys to come out. And I want you to set up a DJ booth. And I want your boys to break dance all over here. And I want them to break dance to the Beastie Boys. License to ill. Brass Monkey.
Starting point is 00:31:54 That's what we gonna call you. DJ Envious, a.k.a. Brass Monkey. It's swimming pool number two, Envious. Oh, my God. All right, we got all right, we got NB now coming to work as a police officer.
Starting point is 00:32:13 I would definitely like to see how it's getting. That's right. You know, Friday, you know, Ross, when that happened for like 10, 12 hours, I could tell he was rattled.
Starting point is 00:32:20 I could tell something was wrong, so I wore this today to make him feel a little more comfortable. In fact, did you have that outfit? You had that in your car? I did. So I wore this today to make him feel a little more comfortable In fact, we had that outfit you had that in your car So I made it to feel more comfortable if you don't know what's going on Ross You get a little upset over the weekend because I said he Airbnb's his crib, which is true That's what he does coming to America. They Airbnb this crib. It's not a
Starting point is 00:32:40 Airbnb Eddie Murphy man milked all on his bed. He responded and said this I just told the people was coming to clean up my pool to hold on. Because I said Envy and his seven sons could come over here. Y'all could handle this pool for the pool party July 2nd. DJ Envious, you just started a pool cleaning service. Because you got a job. You work. I'm kind of confused.
Starting point is 00:33:03 You talking to a boss and you got a job that you got to report to don't get fired by that white man and i'm inviting to the car show and a pool party i do have a boss shout to bob pitman that's one of my bosses he actually owns iheart but he has a boss too john venata is his boss who's john venata that's the miami warden the correctional facility warden that is his boss no that is the truth that is the truth that's rick ross rick ross still gets a pension you're going too far from the corrections he does absolutely he's showing me attention it's about living like these was all little jabs at first but then like i said ross started swinging like he's i got i'm a boss. I got rich. Let's talk about how you got rich.
Starting point is 00:33:46 You sued somebody. You ain't really put no work. It started to get real below the line. Yeah. Yes. I ain't had to sue nobody to get paid for just talking about my daughter. He was going off. Enough of the reporting.
Starting point is 00:34:02 What do the brains here think about all of this? I think Rick Ross is hilarious. I think Ross is a comedian, and he's fucking hilarious. That's it. I do think, I said what I thought, that I thought it was a rollout gimmicky shit at first, but I think Ross is taking this a little more serious. You can't bring my kids and my family into this shit.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Well, are they done? Y'all were done? I've been saying what I think. So Ross is hilarious, and my family into this shit. Well, are they done? Y'all were done? That's what I've been saying. So Ross is hilarious and that's what you got. I told you, I think he's, it's not funny no more because now you don't brought the kids in, you don't brought my family in. It's getting serious now.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Yeah, again, I wasn't well versed in, because I know some new shit came out. He talked about his girl or his wife or something, and I just think you kind of crossed the line. Over a car show, I think it's whack. Anybody else? What's your opinion? I have many opinions.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I just want to get y'all's out the way. It's literally, it just sounds so juvenile. Yeah, some kids. I don't know. It's ridiculous. It just sounds. I just,
Starting point is 00:35:13 again, I could take it to a serious place, but I just, we, in my opinion, I'm not well versed with all the other demos. It just, we need to stop that shit
Starting point is 00:35:23 within our demo, in my opinion. Stop what? A bunch of black rich men shooting at each other and belittling each other. I think that shit is corny and it's getting redundant. It's us because we always, I don't wanna, you already serious this a little bit.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Like we act like it ain't no room at the top only for one. Like, only one can win in anything. And it seems to be only our culture that do it. Like, if I'm up, you can't be up. I got to put you down to make sure I'm the only one up here. Yeah, I can't even, I don't even get why there was even, like, what. I don't know. How it even started. Like, why can't even, I don't even get why there was even like, what, how it even started, like why can't both have a car show? What does one have to do with the other?
Starting point is 00:36:11 They ain't even at the same time, they not in the same place. I mean, from Envy's perspective, you might be taking money out of my pocket, because now I can't tour my car show where you toured your car show, but. My shit is in my crib. It don't matter. Competition is competition. Yo, can y'all shut your all sappy asses the fuck up? Can we shut up and you look at us and say nothing else? I can't even believe y'all sapping us out
Starting point is 00:36:40 with this responsible, mature... Shut up. all sapping us out with this responsible mature. Shut up. Splice this shit the fuck up. Is there something wrong with him Airbnb-ing his crib? Come on, let's unpack the jokes. Fuck this shit.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Let's unpack the jokes and what's right and wrong. No. Is that the truth? It's not Airbnb. If I got to see him. He's written out his crib. Fam, if I went out a wing of the crib to let you niggas
Starting point is 00:37:11 shoot a movie and write it off and make money off of that, fuck no. Okay, but is it funny to say? Yeah, absolutely. Listen, when I was having the pool party
Starting point is 00:37:20 and we was having a blast back there, Drake got right on live and was like, yeah, y'all having a blast in that, Drake got right on live and was like, y'all having a blast in that Airbnb. And I was like, nigga. That was funny, too.
Starting point is 00:37:30 It was hilarious. It was funny, too. Nothing you can say. There's levels to this. There's levels. Hey, y'all got that Airbnb rocking. That's funny. And it's funny.
Starting point is 00:37:41 So yes, Rick Ross is making money by renting his crib out for movies. And he's got a bunch of land there to just make money. He's doing whatever he's doing. But still funny. Still a little funny to say. Envy said, is Jay-Z renting his crib out? Is any of that valid here?
Starting point is 00:37:58 He said, is 50 renting his crib out? Is any of that valid? Flip, this is your man. Speak up. You have a mic in front of you. Wake the fuck up in here. Nigga, you know I'm not saying that I spoke to you and I'm not saying nothing. I want a comment on it.
Starting point is 00:38:09 What you asking me for, nigga? Stop trying to pull me out. I told you this before. I'm not commenting on these niggas. You didn't say none of that last night. I did. I asked you how it started, nigga. You didn't, but it's fine. It's fine. Move. I think that renting the crib is funny. I mean, they're throwing shots At each other
Starting point is 00:38:25 It's two separate situations You know It's funny though It does get a little crazy When you start talking About family members How can you laugh Like how can I
Starting point is 00:38:33 Seriously he said it was funny But how can I laugh Without feeling a way Is there some underlying shit here Because Envy is cool with 50 And they from Queens And this is Ross
Starting point is 00:38:42 Is there some underlying I was surprised When Ross called They going they going kind of hard over a car show. They are. I was surprised when Ross called 50 names because they haven't dissed each other in a long time.
Starting point is 00:38:54 He said, I saw you standing next to Curtis and I said, oh, here you go. Stop. I said, Ross, stop. But let me tell you what I do like.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I do like Envy engaging in this. I like that. Go on, then ledge a little bit. Yeah, listen. It's content. Well, hold on. It's content. He's got a radio show.
Starting point is 00:39:15 They're going through changes. Digital is important. You got a co-host missing who seemingly goes viral every so often with her interviews. Yeah. I like Envy now doing something that we ain't seen him do, which is fire at some of these niggas. We know Envy. Now, is Envy really being part of COE or he going to take it personal?
Starting point is 00:39:36 Envy, we know you take it. Yo, there's plenty of sensitive people in COE, too. Hold on. There's plenty of people that are Engaging in content Over everything That are sensitive And can't take none of the bullets That come their way I barely fire niggas
Starting point is 00:39:49 And you niggas cry every week Over some shit I said What I'm saying is that Would he be able to get over this one? Like after everything Yeah Envy's fine Ross is fine
Starting point is 00:39:57 This ain't about nothing Alright This ain't about nothing That's why All of that self-destruction shit Save that for later This ain't about nothing Is it funny all of that self-destruction shit save that for later this ain't about nothing is it funny
Starting point is 00:40:07 is it not funny the lawsuit shit what do we think that's hilarious what's happening that's hilarious right there what the fuck
Starting point is 00:40:17 that's funny what's funny it's funny I'm telling you that's funny to say is there any validity in that when you bring it up in a hip-hop beef?
Starting point is 00:40:26 Come on. I'm asking tough questions today. Is there any validity when you bring that up in a hip-hop beef today? Yeah. We've said it about Vlad a bunch of times. And this is Ross' go-to. He said it about Vlad, too. Well, that was, you know.
Starting point is 00:40:37 He paid for it. Well, he still did. No, he didn't pay. No, you know what I mean. He didn't pay. I know. He'll pay that 10x to do that. Vlad think I want to do that. Ohly, I think I wanna do that.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Oh, my God. Anyway. Nah, that's funny. But is there... That's funny. Is there validity to it? I mean, is there validity to anything in hip-hop when it comes to beef like that
Starting point is 00:40:56 or back and forth? There's no limit. Really. It's just how you take it. He sued. He sued. He got money. He did.
Starting point is 00:41:04 I'm not mad at that. It happened. We know he did I'm not mad at that it happened we know this I ain't mad at that and we had some money before the lawsuit here we go I'm not speaking
Starting point is 00:41:12 for what nobody had didn't have we do that in hip hop a lot start talking about what people had alright so he got money off a lawsuit alright
Starting point is 00:41:21 stop it we ain't hip hop I hate when y'all podcast I hate when y'all podcast I hate when y'all podcast yes and that makes sense you making sense because you make sense in hip hop when you say that to somebody
Starting point is 00:41:32 it's foul if you're supposed to be like some street nigga yeah if I'm not nigga I'm gonna get my bread how I got it I wish I could sue one of you niggas I gotta listen the fuck is y'all talking about I would love to sue one of you niggas. I got a list of niggas. What the fuck is y'all talking about? I would love to sue one of you niggas.
Starting point is 00:41:48 And I ain't even sue them. I sued the radio station. Give me my bread, nigga. And now I double back to get another check from them. I work for them now. Fuck you talking about?
Starting point is 00:42:02 Nice. That's nice. That's finesse right there. Two times. That's finesse two times. I see what you did. Fuck you talking about? Nice. That's nice. That's finesse right there. Two times. That's finesse two times. I see what you did. The fuck you talking about, Mike? You know I'm the current rapper.
Starting point is 00:42:11 I know. I already know what that is. Who put you on the hill? What's that name? Well, shut up, nigga. I ain't mad at that. Well, all of us hope that they stop. True.
Starting point is 00:42:23 We for sure. I'm enjoying the show. I hope it doesn't go that they stop. True. I'm enjoying the show. I hope it doesn't go too far. Yeah. But I'm enjoying the back and forth. The banter is funny. But it already went too far. It's already gone too far.
Starting point is 00:42:32 It already went too far. All I'm going to do is keep going down a hill. I don't never think somebody should start talking about somebody's wife. Kids. Somebody's kids. Like, that's too far for me, especially when everybody's doing good. Like, everybody's doing good Like everybody doing good Do you feel
Starting point is 00:42:47 Do you really feel the need To mention my wife and kids Yeah like crack on me You would call me All the names you want Over a car show That's true Not over a car show
Starting point is 00:42:54 We both been doing this for years We know each other Rick Ross had been In the breakfast club Like what Bad times What do we really I agree
Starting point is 00:43:01 So it gotta be more to it Like I think you was right With the whole Him being next to 50 or something It could be That could be a thing And then when it gets far like this One person always
Starting point is 00:43:10 One person has to be The bigger person When nobody wants to Cause it take one person To say you know what Alright You get the last word I'm stopping
Starting point is 00:43:19 This is too far I'm not gonna keep Involving my platform In this But when you're in this COE land that y'all speak about, can you do that? Nah, it's COE. You got a statute of limitations. You can't just
Starting point is 00:43:31 fucking keep it. Get stale. There's such a thing as stale. I feel like... Yeah, after they car shows. I was about to say, I feel like it's already gotten a little stale. Car show, my ass, that shit is in two weeks. They got to sell tickets now, which is why... That's why I'm saying they're going to keep going. Ain't no last word right now. After the show's over,
Starting point is 00:43:47 we made our money, cool, now we done. But up until that day, fuck you. It's up now. This is the most car promotion I've seen,
Starting point is 00:43:55 car show promotion I've ever seen in my entire life. So, I mean, it's working. It is. But I liked it
Starting point is 00:44:02 when it was like Ross showed his fire truck and he was like envy you ain't got a fire truck over it like that's fly that's a fly way to do this it's cute why do my kids no you know yeah like rappers don't know how to play it started off on just regular shit yeah we're all saying how many cars rappers don't know how to play envy saying yeah i looked at all them cars your cars is is trash. My cars are one of ones and quality over quantity
Starting point is 00:44:28 type of situation. And then it went from that to how we get this and your wife and your kids and all this stuff. Nah, man. I'm cool. Fans, y'all be thankful
Starting point is 00:44:36 that it's them two throwing the car shows and not me and my friends. We wouldn't have none of that fly shit over there. It'd be a couple of kids and Saturns. Parts of the mini?
Starting point is 00:44:44 Yeah. Bring my F-150 out. Parts of the Mini? Yeah. Bring my Mini over. Bring my F-150 out. A little smoke coming out the back. Why would a six foot five person think about getting a tiny car like that? Because I park on the street
Starting point is 00:44:54 in New York. It's rough out here. Telepractical. Move. Yeah, you hear, and that's what I wanted to talk about earlier. Like, you hear his mindset?
Starting point is 00:45:04 I'll get the smaller car. Him and Ian was outside saying, I'm going to get the small car because parking, when I park at a B, I can find a parking spot anywhere in the world. And I'm sitting there saying, yo, dog, you're house shopping. You. So, and Jersey people don't think like this because. You got space. You got driveways. You got driveways.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Parking lots. All that kind of shit. Garages. Garages. Because we got space. We got driveways. We got driveways. Parking lots. Garages. There's nowhere in the universe that I go where before I leave the house, I'm saying, damn, this is going to be good. Damn, I want to go to New York. Nah, that's not true. Unless I'm going to New York. Hoboken and Jersey City.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Hoboken is a bitch. You're not going to drive to Hoboken and park. And when you drive, you know the parking lot is across the street. The garage is across the street from the W. And they got another one across the street from the... We know where the garages are. That's true. Why do the New Yorkers...
Starting point is 00:45:53 Because we like living in New York. Gotta move parks. No, they do though. They really do. A lot of New Yorkers really stand on that. I like living here. Yeah. And a lot of them stand on the,
Starting point is 00:46:06 I'm going to move right here to Jersey where I can save a couple dollars and still be 10 minutes out. I mean, I might be there eventually, but not today. No, they like it. I don't get it, but. Yeah, they can keep that shit.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Smart car. You should get a Vespa. I have, I like those. Yeah, see? I like those. But I need a car. I'm not driving a Vespa here. What the fuck is a Vespa?
Starting point is 00:46:26 I'd give anything to see that. Like a motor scooter shit. Did you tell them, I see your tall white ass with the little helmet on driving a Vespa. I'm going to run you over. I'm going to hit you.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I'm going to run you the fuck over. I'm not even going to hit you. I'm going to open the door and just be like, Did you eventually tell them where you landed? I think I'm going to get the Benz. Which one?
Starting point is 00:46:48 Yeah. I.E. So he went from the smart mini. Yeah. I don't know. A Benz with all those potholes. You're going to be fucked. Talk to your man.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Talk to your man. Talk to your man. And say what? Fuck them buttons. Talk to him and say what? A E. He just said that. I know. It's not good enough for him.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I'm telling you to talk to your man. Why? A E. Do you have something you would like to say to him? Parks is 6'5". A E class is still Not sufficient for parks Nah that shit was comfy
Starting point is 00:47:26 Why are you looking at me Cause I want you to lead Why is everyone Acting weird here I want you to lead I want you to tell me But I don't have a problem With parks in the E class
Starting point is 00:47:35 We was just talking About a fucking smart car And the E class Is not as tiny as you As you think I had one Joe Or not Maybe they changed
Starting point is 00:47:44 Yo you've had everything Maybe they changed I they changed it. You've had everything. Maybe they changed it. I'm sick of you. You've had everything. I haven't had a bunch of cars. But maybe they've changed the E-Class. I don't think that, listen, they already make me out to be some Republican. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:48:01 I'm joking. I don't think parks should have a... A what? The nigga started this with, I'm getting a'm joking I don't think Parks should have a A what? The nigga started this with I'm getting a smart car for parking Mini Cooper How do you go to a S class He needs to get hit with a sledgehammer
Starting point is 00:48:12 For saying his 6'5 ass went to the mini dealership Yes he needs to change his train of thought You didn't even walk your fucking white feet in the dealership Yes I agree Alright I'm with you there I'm telling you that he is too frugal Spend some of that money yo And I try to shut up You can have a black t-shirt on I agree. I'm with you there. I'm telling you that he is too frugal. Spend some of that money, yo.
Starting point is 00:48:27 And I try to shut up. You can have a black t-shirt. Because I know what he makes. Mini Coopers are expensive. Mini Coopers are not cheap cars. Just want to put that out there. No, they're not very expensive. Okay, well, they're not cheap.
Starting point is 00:48:41 They're not cheap. They're not cheap. I'm talking about the Mercedes dealership. We are talking about Grammy nominated parks. Yes. Mercedes is a terrible idea in New York City. There's way too many potholes. That shit's going to be in the fucking shop all day long. You should get a BMW.
Starting point is 00:48:57 That's what you should get. They don't fit the best for tall people. A.R.K. Say whatever you want. Do your thing. Go get a Tonka truck. U6.5. Yeah, this guy's great. Do your thing. Go get a Tonka truck. You 6'5". Yeah, this guy's great.
Starting point is 00:49:06 Stay your ass out of these little ass cars trying to save a living. Fuck out of here. Spend on something, yo. You got to spend on something. Yes, you do. Yo, you black t-shirts, army shorts, bins. You with it.
Starting point is 00:49:20 But this is where I get confused with him, and then we can move on. If you don't spend it, they're going to take it. I mean, you're right about that. So if you know that, why not treat yourself a little bit better? And can't you write the G-Wagon off? Yo, you remember how good you felt when you came in here from Bird Off that week? I did.
Starting point is 00:49:38 You heard Ice? What? You can write the G-Wagon off. I don't want a G-Wagon. He is not getting a G-Wagon. All right. I don't fucking G-Wagon. And now we're losing our fucking Saturn.
Starting point is 00:49:47 No, I'm just saying though. You hear him? You try to keep them from taking it so you spend it in a way where it works for you. Exactly. Tax efficient. Oh, he been in Vest Vest. That boy. That boy been in Vest Vest.
Starting point is 00:49:58 You ever buy G-Wagons out there? Yeah, man. That's the advice? I don't want no G-Wagon. You got it. I'm not driving something. Just get a pickup truck, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:05 turn white. Just don't put no flag in the back of that shit at all. We'll support you. Now, normally I wouldn't get to sports so soon.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Well, we don't have to. What do y'all think about what Dirk said about Gunner? I think he's the person that can say it. Dirk sat down with Ack.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Ack went to LA. They did an interview. I haven't seen the interview yet, but it's been coming out in bits and pieces. And they asked him, he asked him,
Starting point is 00:50:34 what does he think of the Gunna shit? And he said, Gunna told, should have went in and kept his mouth shut. And then was like, and he loved Doug
Starting point is 00:50:41 and said, if you were wine, I told y'all, I hate rats. If you are a rat, I absolutely hate you. So he was like, you know, put that together. I thought that part was really interesting, that part. The part that lost me, and I guess this is the civilian in me talking,
Starting point is 00:50:55 where he said he hates rats because a rat took his father away from him. Yeah, you're saying what I was thinking. And I'm like, so you blame. So he took all accountability away yeah yeah you all the rap which is fine if you want to but I again I could be speaking from a different you probably blame the rat because the rat and his father probably was in the same type of activities in the that's right probably to flip the rat the can on the rat probably took the
Starting point is 00:51:21 coward way out so that's why the rat can't rat on you if there's nothing to rat on you. But let's say, hypothetically, you never got caught doing your crime. So let's say you was committing a crime. Let's say we robbed a bank, right? I didn't get caught robbing a bank. Talk about it. I'm in Tahiti somewhere minding my fucking business with my millions of dollars. Joe got caught.
Starting point is 00:51:44 They don't know nothing about me. How hungry am I? Starving. Oh, I'll take that Baconator in large amounts. You get what I'm saying? So now, who do you blame? Yeah, I really robbed the bank,
Starting point is 00:51:57 but I didn't get caught robbing the bank. Joe got caught. Now Joe sends them niggas to Tahiti to come get me. Can I blame Joe for that? I'm asking you a question. Your civilian opinion. My civilian opinion? If ain't
Starting point is 00:52:10 nothing Joe can tell them about me I ain't worried about it. You right. But also if ain't nothing Joe can tell them about me I'm in Tahiti with my millions. What I don't understand about and again I'm a civilian too but what I don't understand about the streets people is when did the streets ever exist without a rat?
Starting point is 00:52:30 Like they talk as if there was a time- It wasn't as prevalent. It wasn't as prevalent in certain times. It wasn't as prevalent as it is today. I mean there's been rats forever. Forever. Yeah, I would debate that, but I don't have all the facts in front of me. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. But rats always been there.
Starting point is 00:52:47 But anyway, back to the Dirk shit. I'm with you on that. That was interesting. That was the only thing that really threw you off. But in this instance about him speaking on Gunna, I believe Dirk to be a street dude, and the street dudes are the ones who can make that call. So if he say, yo, that man's a rat, or that man told in his exact words,
Starting point is 00:53:09 hey, he can say that. I can't sit here and say he told, he did this or he did that because I'm not a part of that life. I wonder how Thug would feel. Because Thug posted Gunna's music on his page. Could have been a publicity stunt. It could have been something to bring money to the case. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:53:27 But how is Thug going to feel now that Dirk said that? Dirk just threw a motherfucking bomb in the whole shit. Wow. We don't know that Thug had posted anything. We discussed this. It could be his team. Yeah. We don't know who posted that.
Starting point is 00:53:40 We don't know who had it. True. Internet or the phone. But then Gunna said that he was no part of, he was no longer part of YSL at one point. You know what I'm saying? So, and that was,
Starting point is 00:53:49 he posted it way after when Gunna said that shit. He was driving. Again, we still don't know that Thug posted anything. We don't know anything about that.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Like, true. Shit, for all we know, and that post wasn't up there long either. So, it could have been, people's pages get hacked. Somebody could have hacked it. Shit, for all we know. And that post wasn't up there long either. So it could have been people's pages get hacked.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Somebody could have hacked it. Stop it. Somebody from his label could have posted it. Somebody could have did something without his consent is what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:54:14 He said, yo, take that shit down. True. You never know what happened. I wonder what everybody's going to do when they're going to come back with slaps. Forget all about this shit.
Starting point is 00:54:24 People have short-term memory loss when it comes. I'm going to be honest with you. The more I look at it, I want to see how he comes back with the slap. Because it's looking like a lot of motherfuckers are not going to work with him. So that will be the telling point. That's the other thing. A lot of you do slaps, be relying on them features, boy. And production.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Production. And production. And relationships. And just mystique of the, yo, he's down with XYZ type shit. Yeah. If you don't have relationships, it's really hard to get that record.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Yeah. In the music business, right? Yeah. The odds are against you. I mean, now you're going to unproven producers or unproven... Let me ask you this. Because y'all know this.
Starting point is 00:55:04 With regards to the marketing piece, right? Is his record... Do you think... Let's say Gunna came out with some shit that had the potential to go.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Right? Do you think it's going to be marketed the same way? You get what I'm saying? From the people behind the scenes. Do you think they'll market his record
Starting point is 00:55:23 the same exact way that they would have done pre... Well think I think part of the marketing is the production the feature the video if he has one if he has one they're gonna spend the money yeah if you got if you got something like that that they know they could make work then I'm with ice I'm interested to see if they'll give him the money to make the record before they give him the money to promote the record and the other part of the marketing is The relationship so for example when dirk album drop watch all the rappers you see posting dirks album You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:55:59 Got you got you got when you see watch everybody you see screenshot and that fuck with him I'ma push my man shit Cause I want it to be successful Well the track list Speaks volumes Right Like the track list came out First thing I did Was enlarge it So I could see the features
Starting point is 00:56:13 First thing I did See how many songs 21 Savage Future Yak The Usual Suspects Rob 49 You got the country guy
Starting point is 00:56:22 In there too right Yeah Waller. Waller. Morgan. Morgan, yeah. They worked on the last project too. Oh, yeah, okay. What label is Gunna on?
Starting point is 00:56:31 That's what I was about to ask. Yeah. I thought he signed, I want to say Atlantic. I could be wrong about that. And so, I mean, I know obviously labels don't really make proclamations or make big statements, know proclamations or like you know make big statements but has anybody has there any has there been like any anonymous conversation about what they think about Gunna's like future as an artist I know his last project which was 2022 it says licensed exclusively to YSL slash 300 so that's what I was gonna to say. Is he on 300 still?
Starting point is 00:57:05 Yes. Nothing about his contractual situation has changed. No, I didn't know. It's a question. I don't know. So now... So they're just going to let him die on the vine? If you Kevin Liles, right?
Starting point is 00:57:14 Because we saw Kevin Liles take the stand. He's not... He hasn't released anything and he's not dead. This is the public talking about his status. The label is saying what the label says. Nigga, go get low. And we'll get back when it's time to get right. Okay. So listen, we saw Kevin Louse take the stand for Thug, right?
Starting point is 00:57:34 We saw him break out into tears for Thug. So now if you, Kevin Louse, or you, the people behind the scenes at 300, and this person is potentially sending somebody away, God will intervene wherever he intervenes, but could be potentially sending this person away that you love for a long, long time. Do you support that? That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:58:01 That's a good one. Like professionally, professionally, professionally we have an obligation to support our artists. That's a good one. Like, professionally, professionally, professionally, we have an obligation to support our artists. But personally, Kevin Liles broke tears
Starting point is 00:58:11 for Thug. I don't know if I could sit there and put the, the same, um, Energy? Energy into your project if you send away somebody
Starting point is 00:58:21 I know for a long, long time. But is Kevin Liles a street nigga? I think that's you putting feelings into the business. I know. I long, long time. Kevin Lyle's a street nigga. I think that's you putting feelings into the business. I know. I mean, it's Kevin Lyle's street nigga. First of all, any of us would cry if we saw somebody that made us over a billion dollars
Starting point is 00:58:36 about to be carted away and locked up. We all would cry. I don't think Kevin Lyle did what we all would do. Ah! My money. My fortune. My fucking fortune. Oh my God. I made so much money with this guy.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Shout out to Kevin Liles, but I'm calling him spade to spade. Now, Kevin Liles is aware of whatever evidence is going on with that case. The standing of that case. If Gunna is out and I got a contract on Gunna, either I'm going to promote this and get my money, or I'm going to write this off and get the fuck from under it. Those are the two options for the label. I think the label could be waiting.
Starting point is 00:59:16 And we can't decide that until I see what's going on with you. But like I said, I think the label could be waiting for shit like this Dirk interview to see how the peers are going to treat him. Because if the people we rely on that kind of fuck with you won't fuck with you no more.
Starting point is 00:59:33 We can't get a solid project out of you. We can't get, now what? Yeah, now it might be time. So they could have been just like, hey, let's let you get low.
Starting point is 00:59:40 We're going to see how everybody treats you. Oh shit, they're not fucking with you. Are they real? Oh, this nigga said it too? Oh man. Like now it might be time to start looking to get low we're gonna see how everybody treat you oh shit they're not fucking with you are they real oh this nigga said it too oh man like now it might be time to start looking into making a decision gotcha that makes sense yeah so we'll we'll see how it play out man it'll be interesting to see if he takes like a different approach too you know i'm saying as far musically like he might
Starting point is 01:00:02 end up and i was thinking about this go more poppy or we've seen this before i mean not with the same what we've seen where they're not really with you no more with bobby schmurda bobby came out i gotta get it another way now so i have to now try to change the sound and it didn't work and with with takashi nothing nothing work and with with Takashi nothing nothing I tell you one thing I don't think is getting back to this energy and I don't care if you told or not it's not gonna take away from what this song song do when it come on but all of that drink metro future Popping in a strip club like this Now if he come back with something like that Somehow
Starting point is 01:01:07 Then I'm with you I don't see it I don't see it Especially like I said with Dirk going out saying something Yeah And they gonna follow Dirk's lead too Everybody gonna follow All they needed was one
Starting point is 01:01:22 Once you tag lame the game is follow the leader They said Dirk streams lead to everybody. All it needed was one. Once you tag lame, the game has followed the leader. They said Dirk streams for his single more than Youngboy streams for his album. Makes all the sense in the world. I don't care. I mean, what did you expect? It's got J. Cole feature on it. J. Cole feature, Dr. Luke.
Starting point is 01:01:43 This was huge. What'd you thought? Yeah. That's one of those LeBron stats. Yeah. On Thursdays, LeBron is the only
Starting point is 01:01:53 person to ever put up 28-8-8. I'm mad that LeBron left, but boy am I happy we ain't got to hear from his Lakers takes no more. That was the best
Starting point is 01:02:03 thing about LeBron. He was kind of right though. He was right. He wasn, though. He was right. He wasn't wrong. He was right. About what? AD?
Starting point is 01:02:09 About his very... Got it. Go ahead. Y'all not going to trick me. Go ahead. You're right. Come on. Y'all want to talk about it?
Starting point is 01:02:16 Yeah, go ahead. Ish. Come on, Ish. Let us hear it. Did he call the sweep, though? No. No. He called AD.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Go ahead. Every sports person in the world said that just so y'all know it's not that powerful fuck them everybody okay everybody ain't get clown for it you came in here every other day depending on what the people said in in media world nigga i've been saying AD is a bitch. That was condescending. I've been saying AD plays soft. He don't fucking dunk. Tristan Thompson played harder than AD.
Starting point is 01:02:52 What are you talking about? He's soft. Capital T. He lives on the ground. He stays on the ground more than John Morant. John Morant ran 160 pounds. Why would you capitalize the T? Soft.
Starting point is 01:03:05 Eddie Murphy, nigga. Come on? Soft. Eddie Murphy, man. Come on, man. Eddie Murphy. Life. Life. He just- Y'all like that movie more than me, too, by the way. That movie's amazing.
Starting point is 01:03:13 That's why. I know. That's cool. I know. Go ahead. I ain't got enough white people in it for you. It's all right, dog. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:03:19 It's all right, dog. Did he slam down some type of reverse car? What did he just- He combined the reverse and the reverse car? Reverse car. What did he just? He combined the reverse and the reverse car. He put his shit on me, Paul. Yo, LeBron James, shout out to LeBron. Y'all know I'm not the biggest LeBron fan. You got to take your hat off.
Starting point is 01:03:34 He played his heart out. He left it all on the court. He had 31 points in the first half. He played the whole entire first half except four seconds. So now I'm going to give it to my young top five NBA stud to bring us home in the second half. He did not. AD disappeared. He missed like seven
Starting point is 01:03:52 layups, my nigga. You seven feet, you missing layups? I thought they had that game. Me too. I thought they was leading to the blowout. Bro, we was up 15 at the half. You know what happened? No, but Andy,
Starting point is 01:04:06 what did they score? Like 70 points and a half. 72. 72 points and a half. We up 15. The third quarter had a 25-point turnaround. We was up 15.
Starting point is 01:04:15 We was down 10 at the start of the fourth. Once that three stopped falling? No. Once AD started falling. No. He lives on the ground, dog. It was like three minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 01:04:26 They said they missed every three they took in the second half. And I'm watching them still chuck threes. Stop shooting threes. That's the game today, unfortunately. We old, but that's where it is. Dog, let me tell you. And Joe said that Darvin Hammond is doing a good job. He's not.
Starting point is 01:04:38 He didn't do a good job the whole series. Yo, dog, Joker got five fouls. Why y'all shooting threes? Facts. He's the leader of the team. He's the heartbeat of the team. Get him the fuck off the court. Give it to your top five AD. Make him go to the hole
Starting point is 01:04:53 and make Joker either not play D or play D to get this big motherfucker off the court. Nah, y'all want to keep shooting threes. LeBron drives the last shot of the game. LeBron takes it to the paint. You see AD fade to the three-point line like this. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:05:12 LeBron shoots the layup. Let's say it comes off. You want to be down low for the tip in. You want to be down low for the put back. He goes to the three-point line waving his fucking hand. What he did, yo? Come on, my nigga. You ain't Ray Allen.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Take your dumb ass to the paint and get a tip back. Ish don't know what he's talking about. It's cool, fam. Are you going to congratulate Denver at all in your rant? Absolutely. No. Denver plays basketball the right way. They do. They're an amazing team. The Miami Heat, I'm watching, put on a clinic by playing basketball the right way. They look like
Starting point is 01:05:43 the Spurs. Yeah. That's what they look like. I was watching y on a clinic by playing basketball the right way. They look like the Spurs. Yeah. That's what they look like. I was watching y'all miss threes and them run down the other end. Joker get that ball. I don't care who on his back. Get off me. Get off. What does he do?
Starting point is 01:05:55 You're too small. Get off me. Back you right down. Oh, that's what he does? That's what the seven footer does? Oh, okay. Got you. Instead of what? Shooting foul on jump shots.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Stupid ass. Anyway. The Nuggets are the real jump shots. Stupid ass nigga. Anyway. The Nuggets are the real deal, man. They're really good. Real deal. Miami's really good. They play, again, they just play basketball the right way. Boston is a more talented team, but Boston just play like they in the park.
Starting point is 01:06:18 They just play like they in the park. Like, they just don't do smart shit. Like, if the three's not dropping and y'all lead start going down or y'all start getting blown out, start going to the hole, my nigga. You got to make easier, higher-percented shots. Bro, that's literally maybe 85% of the teams in the league today. If the three don't fall, we fall. Flat out.
Starting point is 01:06:40 We just keep shooting it until it hit. Except for y'all. A finals prediction from you guys. The couch gets active. Denver in seven. Over Miami? Mm-hmm. I think Denver got it.
Starting point is 01:06:54 Maybe five, six games. I don't know. Miami's just well coached. They're a good team. And Jimmy Butler's a dog. He's going to make it interesting. I see you going. I could go seven games. M-Bam could play some defense.
Starting point is 01:07:07 I'm not going to pick a winner because I think either one of them, I wouldn't be shocked if Denver won or Miami won. I wouldn't be shocked at all. I'm probably rooting for Miami more, but I think Denver's too good of a team right now. Oh, yeah. One more thing, too, before we leave. Joel Embiid, do me a favor.
Starting point is 01:07:22 Pack up your nice vehicle. Put that MVP in it and go drive that shit to Denver and just hand it over, bro. I got to say it. I have to be the one to say it. Thank you. I got to be the one to say it. Yeah, it should have been Joker again. It should have been three times.
Starting point is 01:07:35 I know. I know. I know. I know. But I want it, you know. Yeah, of course. Hand deliver that. Definitely should not have been three times.
Starting point is 01:07:42 No. Hand deliver. I don't know about the three. This year? Hand deliver. I don't know about the three. This year? This year. I don't care about this year for sure. What's your prediction? I think the league has an interest in getting Denver a championship.
Starting point is 01:08:00 More so than they have for getting Miami a championship. Denver will have home court advantage. I think they'll have the whistle in their favor regardless. But I've also been wrong about Miami the whole way. The whole way. And some people I know that, you know, people are fans of players now, some people I know that have been just riding the Jimmy Butler train, boy, they look like geniuses for a few months now.
Starting point is 01:08:30 They like, I don't care about the game, but Jimmy, go Jimmy. And he go out there and do it. And I'll tell you, with that fucking egg that Boston is laying out there, boy, do I feel good about the Knicks. The Bucs beat Miami once. Boston ain't going to beat them at all. We beat them twice. We beat them twice. We beat them twice.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Undermanned. I always say that. If your team gets ousted by a team that goes to the championship, you should be happy for that. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with that. Miami, listen, best coached team in the league for all of those undrafted players. I'm trying to get Strauss off of their team and on to the Knicks.
Starting point is 01:09:04 I need to see what the Knicks do. That stat that Pat Riley, as a player, coach, and executive, has been involved in 25% of NBA championships. He's right. I know Miami. I know Spolcher's going crazy, because I haven't seen Kevin Love once
Starting point is 01:09:19 against the Celtics, and he kicked our ass the whole second round. That's what you keep... He kicked our ass the whole second round. This's what you keep... He kicked our ass the whole second round. This shit is like boxing, yo. Styles make fights. Against... Miami played against the Bucks.
Starting point is 01:09:33 You didn't see Kyle Lowry. He just didn't fit well for that particular series with this personnel. Kyle Lowry came to life against y'all. Kevin Love played against y'all Kevin Love not playing in this series because it don't make
Starting point is 01:09:48 for good you get what I'm saying dog D-Lo should never touch the court against fucking Denver let me ask you he should have never
Starting point is 01:09:54 touched the court against Denver I don't know the contracts is D-Lo making a lot of money with y'all this year like 15 he's out of here 19 something like that
Starting point is 01:10:01 look what I'm saying sometimes when it's someone that's making certain money it's about going to the championship. If it don't bode well for the team, sit your ass down. They talking about D'Angelo Russell disappeared. I'm like, no shit.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Kyrie been at every game. He's sitting in the front row. He's dapping it up with fucking- Who is he dapping it up with? Anybody. Doing their little handshakes. I ain't forget it. Yeah, we're going to reinvent that next year.
Starting point is 01:10:24 No, I don't want them, but- I got to make some secret handshakes. I ain't forget it. Yeah, we're going to reinvent that next year. Nah, I don't want them, but. I got to make some secret handshakes with y'all dudes. That shit just look like. That shit look fly. That shit look fly. Business is going on. That shit look so fly. It got to be corny trying to come up with it, though.
Starting point is 01:10:36 It got to be corny. So they're failing. Oh, you got it. And he's taking him a little bit longer. Yo, nigga, what you so fam? Like this, nigga. What the fuck you doing? Like the touchdown dances
Starting point is 01:10:45 In the Super Bowl I mean in football Especially the defensive teams I love that But I don't like Picturing them Come up with it in practice That just
Starting point is 01:10:55 That don't make it as So LeBron got up there In the post In the post Game conference And he was like I have a lot of thinking to do As far as my basketball future
Starting point is 01:11:12 And then my dad calls me Very angry this morning Talking about LeBron Is trying his best To steal the thunder Away from the Nuggets First finals appearance And LeBron is a piece of shit
Starting point is 01:11:24 Even though he has a love-hate relationship. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like it's me. For anybody that thinks that, just stop it. Just stop it. LeBron was talking to the Lakers the same way he's going to talk to whoever his front office is every year for the remainder of his time in basketball. One.
Starting point is 01:11:42 Two. If y'all think self-centered, narcissistic-ass LeBron is leaving without his own farewell tour, the greatest farewell tour that you've ever seen, then you're wrong. You think he's going to hang it up like that? No. No, not at all. And he just had 40. He's in great shape.
Starting point is 01:12:02 He's 39. He's out there bugging out. He's here. He's here for a while. He's in great shape. He's 39. He's out there bugging out. He's here. He's here for a while. He's soon to have the most minutes ever played. But you can definitely see his age. Yeah, you can see it. Father Tom is undefeated.
Starting point is 01:12:16 And you can see it. Like, yo, he left it all on the court. Y'all know I'm not the biggest LeBron fan. Dog, you can't say nothing about what he did last night. You taking Father Tom to a tough little fight. You tell me. It's about. You're not tapping out. What, you can't say nothing about what he did last night. You taking far the time to a tough little fight. You take it. It's about. You're not tapping out.
Starting point is 01:12:28 What are you, 48? About to be. No, for real. You went far the time. Yeah, you stupid. Nah, you shooting a one with that nigga. You look good, man.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Yeah. You kind of beating him. Thank you, sir. You know what I mean? That's what's up. I wish when I get there, I hope I could tussle with them for as long as you've been tussling with them. What topic we on? Anyone you want.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Your world. Anyone you want it to be. Anyone of y'all want it to be. It's on you, OG. What you got? Nah, Mel's the OG. Fuck out of here. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:01 So did anybody by chance see the cover of Rolling Stones magazine? Of course. Yes, of here. Okay. So did anybody by chance see the cover of Rolling Stones magazine? Of course. Yes, of course. Yes. So Janelle Monae is on the cover of Rolling Stones. And she looks great. She does. She looks amazing, right?
Starting point is 01:13:16 She says she feels better with her titties out. I feel better with the titties out too. I feel better with my titties and her titties out. You guys are pigs. Boink. Or we just like titties. You said you feel better with her titties and your titties out. I feel better with my titties out.
Starting point is 01:13:35 I can relate. She looks good, man. About time she shed those Steve Harvey suits, and now she looks looking nice, man. Throw those shits away, but I'm happy. She looks amazing. No, she's fine. Oh, man. She's looks looking nice, man. Throw those shits away, but I'm happy. She looks amazing. No, she's fine. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:13:46 She's fine. Oh, man. So apparently she was performing and she flashed the crowd. This is, she's having a moment. She is.
Starting point is 01:13:54 She's having a moment right now. Is she? I mean. It's a moment of clarity. All that bullshit wasn't working before. I got shit to sell.
Starting point is 01:14:02 That's what it is. Sex sells. Not bullshit, excuse me, but all that artistic stuff't working before. I got shit to sell. That's what it is. Sex sells. Not bullshit, excuse me, but all that artistic stuff was not working. I was going to say. She had tap shoes and shit on. Come on, everybody want to see that shit. Like, stop.
Starting point is 01:14:13 Everybody want to see that shit. Fam, this is the most I've heard Janelle Monae's name said in my entire life. She hit it right on the nose. She's doing good. Titties. Titties. Titties. Titties work every time.
Starting point is 01:14:26 So you've never listened to a Janelle Monáe album before? Yes. Okay. But what I'm saying is this is the most coverage that I've seen for Janelle Monáe ever. And it has nothing to do with music. Okay. Do you think that the cover is pandering? Yes.
Starting point is 01:14:43 To me. And it's working. Huge fan. Huge fan. Yes., to me. And it's working. Huge fan. Huge fan. Yes. Continue to pander. That's funny. Funny.
Starting point is 01:14:50 I agree with you. I think it's pandering, but I don't think it's pandering to us. Who's it pandering to? It ain't pandering to us at all. To who's it pandering to? To the front. To them. To the same people that every group that needs to sell some shit panders to.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Black women. It's never about black men. Well, I'm going to receive some of that pander anyway well we enjoy it we're gonna enjoy it just by default yeah but yeah that's do I think she's talking to us no in the messaging yeah oh yeah no that's not this is the outcry to women, and we've seen this before. My body, my empowerment, I feel free. We have seen it. Janelle Monae has been at every award show for the past 11 years, whether it's been a song or no song.
Starting point is 01:15:36 Met Gallus. She's been everywhere that you need to be for at least the last seven, eight years. Correct. That says to me that there's some people somewhere with some metrics that's looking and saying, all right, this is what we need to do if we feel like going a different direction. The song ain't to men. The song is, I like girls kissing all over me. I like girls eating my pussy.
Starting point is 01:16:00 I like girls sucking on my neck. That's what the song is saying. This is a woman talking to women to get women to the store. Do I think Janelle Monáe give a fuck if any of us buy an album? Hell no. Hell no. But I bought it. That single.
Starting point is 01:16:16 And I love it. And I love it. But I love it because of how I think it is going. You know what I mean? You know what I mean? It's going to get it done. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the new throw baby.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Tip baby. What are we talking about? Tip baby. Tip baby. Yo. Oh, man. She do look good. She do look good.
Starting point is 01:16:36 She looks amazing. But I just get mad. Like, Mel does this thing. She takes those topics that get right to her, and she put it in front of a room full of savage niggas duh and then say what do y'all think i ain't letting her get me with that shit no more she keep getting that shit off nope i know what we think exactly what i think what do you think i think she has and how do you feel about being used
Starting point is 01:17:03 what and wait how you're my man said used how do you feel about being used? What? Wait. You're my man said used. How do you feel about being used? Wait, wait. I need you to expound. How? Well, did you hear anything I just said about who I think her target audience is? Oh, you think that she's pandering to me?
Starting point is 01:17:17 Yeah. Oh, pander away. But how do you feel about it? I feel fantastic about it. I love looking at her. I love her music. I've been a fan for a long time. I like her, you know?
Starting point is 01:17:29 So whatever she does. What do you know about her? I'm good with it. What do you mean, what do I know about her? I know she's. Because that's my thing about people that pander. If they're pandering, then what do we really know about how they feel about anything? I haven't had an in-depth conversation with Janelle Monáe.
Starting point is 01:17:47 But Janelle Monáe is not a new act. Stop, because it's going to seem like, and then they go to Mel Hive. Stop, stop, stop. Don't do that damsel in distress bullshit that you do. I am not a damsel in distress. No. Actually, tell them right now that you're a grown-ass woman
Starting point is 01:18:01 and you don't need to be saved, actually. You know what? Let me just read this tweet, okay? Because this is relevant. Shout out to Melissa Ford for being that cool ass woman that can kick it around a bunch of dudes arguing, blood blushes, and seeing flusters. I am not a damsel in distress. Never play that role.
Starting point is 01:18:16 I am completely comfortable being in a room full of savages. Yes. So continue. We're not even the savages. You know what I mean? The savages. We're pretty mild. We're not even the savages. You know what I mean? The savages. We're pretty mild. We're the mild south. We're the mild savages.
Starting point is 01:18:30 We're not savages. Yes. No, you guys, no. Sorry, you guys are evolved. But what were we just debating before that? What was I saying? She's pandering to me. And how do I feel about her pandering to me?
Starting point is 01:18:39 No. How do you feel about being used? Used. You said, how does she feel about being used? And you asked, you wanted more context. He was just basically saying that, you know, she's. Like, what do I know about Janelle Monae? That's what I was saying.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Janelle Monae is not a new act. She's been out forever. She's done interviews. She's done award shows. But when you say, I love her, because I think it's easy to get y'all. It's easy to get y'all. When you say, I love her, what is it that you love I love how she conducts herself and whenever she's being interviewed I love watching her on red carpets I love her consistency I love her consistency as a
Starting point is 01:19:14 fashionista I love her consistency as an artist I love her consistency about the things she's passionate about I love her consistency when it comes to acting I really enjoy Janelle Monáe and her career. I do. I'm a fan. You got it. Respect, man. You got it. Respect.
Starting point is 01:19:31 I actually think that when, you know, artists become actors, some do extraordinarily well and some should never, ever, ever, ever try to act. Oh, I got one name on that list. What's your favorite three Janelle Monáe songs? She plays Monáe. No, no, put your phone down. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:19:48 No, no, you don't need your phone. Put your phone down. No, no, no, no, no. Put your phone down. No, I have, no. He got you. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't say that she...
Starting point is 01:19:54 So let the record reflect that you can't tell me your favorite three Janelle... I couldn't tell you my three favorite Alicia Keys songs right now. I couldn't do it. Yes, you could.
Starting point is 01:20:04 No, I have... All right, never mind. I have to go look at my phone. Never mind Yes, you could. No, I have to go look at my phone. Never mind. You got it. No, I have to go look at my phone. Do whatever you want. I know. Somebody asked me my three favorite cheesy records. I can name them when I say it.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Stop. This is when they start jumping on me. You just feel like... No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. No, no, no. Hold on one second here. I said...
Starting point is 01:20:18 They jump on you too. Hold on. But she does this on purpose now. It's like a gimmick. I said I... No, I said... Can I get this shit off? I said I'm a fan of hers.
Starting point is 01:20:25 But if you said, name three Little Dragon records that I could name them right away. Why? Because that is my all-time favorite group. You know what I mean? So that's my favorite. Did I say she's my favorite? No.
Starting point is 01:20:38 Do I say I'm a fan? I believe you. Yeah. I believe you. Facts. Anytime a woman, no disrespect, showing freedom or do something to express herself, you know, here goes everybody coming running around.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. We just like the titties. I don't know no song. I don't know anything. I know you had the big-ass suits with the big-ass shoulder pads and shit, doing all this happy feet shit. Fire. I loved it at the time
Starting point is 01:21:05 and now you you ditched the suit and it's I'm amazed to watch progression you are being in tune with your inner sexuality
Starting point is 01:21:13 this is how I take it I'm a heathen man let's tell the truth yeah talk your shit we like it cause them titties look good if it was somebody else I'm not gonna say her name
Starting point is 01:21:22 but if she went topless on the same cover they would be tearing her ass up right now I like it I'm not saying her name her name, but if she went topless on the same cover, they would be tearing her ass up right now. I like it. I'm not saying her name. I know the soul because of the titties. She did it again. I'm not stupid. She did it again. They go right past me. She did it again. Right past.
Starting point is 01:21:34 I just really, I'm curious. Okay. Who, if who did it? Off mic. Yeah. Fuck out of here. Okay. Anybody who titties don't look like that. Amber Rose, Amber Rose been doing this for years. I ain't hear y'all doing all this. Amber Rose been saying, my body, my titties,
Starting point is 01:21:50 I should be free to walk around naked. And I ain't hear none of the women come singing to her. You know what? You know what? Joe chill out. She is. She is. Almost got to move for the-
Starting point is 01:22:00 Almost. You going to open up? Almost. But I learned from my brother Ish. I learned from him. He crawled. He did that so we ain't got to go through that. to open up. Almost. But I learned from my brother Ish. I learned from him. He crawled. He did that so we ain't got to go through that. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:08 Exactly. Ish did that. Crawl so we can run. Yeah. Away. Oh, shit. I mean, I'm just saying. Amber Rose had a slut walk that was extremely well attended for like a few years.
Starting point is 01:22:23 So all of those women that you think do not, you know of like subscribe to her ideology they were all there stop it what you trying me and stop it turn the fuck up you trying me and stop it amber rose had a slut walk and all of the sluts showed up facts like the the underground people that really was with the message showed up talk about it didn't get mainstream I would your mainstream Janelle Monae's mainstream some of the people that are championing this movement now is mainstream because she's safe everything always goes back to the brand and the business I don't kid care. They're all liars. They're all liars. It didn't become sophisticated. You know that. We didn't see Mel
Starting point is 01:23:08 out there like, ah, ah, ah, ah. Nah. Nah. Yeah, yeah. Stop it. Stop it. You were sitting in L.A. like this. Hello. Well, Amber Rose and the Slut Walk. Come on, Mel. Stop. Yeah, because I'll go find an episode where you had to cover it. And I'll see what you was really saying about Amber Rose and the Slut Walk.
Starting point is 01:23:24 Janelle,áe. But yeah, those aren't nice. She looks great. She looks great. But I think we have watched different in life, right? When people grow up, when they grow in front of your eyes and do something different, we all glue to the screen. True.
Starting point is 01:23:37 All of us. I mean, we had a couple of disappointments. The girl from the Cosby that became... Chill, let me stop. But she was in the streets. We had a couple of disappointments. The girl from the Cosby that became... Chill, let me stop. She was in the streets. One of the Cosby... Was it Cosby characters or Family Matters? Which one?
Starting point is 01:23:52 The little girl. What's her name? Help me. Family Matters. That shit broke my heart. That shit broke my heart, but I liked it, though. We sick. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:24:04 All right. Somebody has to thug this out somehow get this girly energy in Ace tell me about the time you was in a physical fight
Starting point is 01:24:12 and somebody yelled out yo get the cannon oh shit that shit stop a lot of shit whatever happened to y'all what tell me about the time you was in a fight
Starting point is 01:24:23 and somebody was like I don't give a fuck. Boom, that nigga. He was like, oh, oh, shit. Yeah, I got a man. Come on, man. I get hit like that. Yo, get this male energy off me.
Starting point is 01:24:33 Let me get some real shit. If you fight a nigga, you're like, get that. Yo, tell me what y'all did when that happened. Brand. That shit happened. That shit happened a couple of years ago. You run. That shit happened all the time years ago. You run.
Starting point is 01:24:45 That shit happened all the time. Shoot that nigga. Nigga. I got four. You getting the fuck out of here. I think it's a setup though. Can I be- To distract you?
Starting point is 01:24:53 Yeah. Can you stop the look for shit? Niggas start acting like they walk into the trunk. Oh my God. Yup. It be that one nigga that always go to the car. Yo, watch it. Watch it.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Watch that nigga. That's when it get real, boy. That's a good move, man. That's a good move, man. That's a good move, man. That's a good move, man. That's a good move, man. That's a good move, man. It be that one nigga that always go to the car. Yo, watch it. Watch it. Watch that nigga. That's when it get real, boy.
Starting point is 01:25:10 That's a good move if you're losing. Yo, go to the truck. Go to that nigga. Yo, that nigga's stupid, yo. For real. Hey, I was thinking about you the other day, though, for real, this weekend. In a good way. What happened?
Starting point is 01:25:24 They be playing with my man, right? Oh. My man got the fist of fury. I was thinking about that nigga like, these niggas be really thinking my son will get, I'm not going to call no names, but these niggas think that my son will just get,
Starting point is 01:25:36 y'all fought for that love and hip hop behind the head shit if y'all want to. Put your hands on Joseph. Come on, what are you doing? He's got hands.
Starting point is 01:25:44 I thought about that shit like, nigga, they really think he's soft. They do. Come on. What are you doing? He's got hands. And I thought about that shit. Like, nigga, they really think he's soft. They do. They do. They really think he's soft. Like, he won't give you. He really would give a nigga a fair one. Man, I'll take it a step further.
Starting point is 01:25:53 I mean, not that he's actively looking for it, but he wouldn't mind learning a nigga or two. The crazy shit about it, but a lot of niggas don't give niggas a fair one. I was thinking about him. This wasn't even on the board. My fault. I was give niggas a fair one. I was thinking about him. This wasn't even on the board. My fault. I was just, because I thought about it. I was thinking about you.
Starting point is 01:26:08 I said, yo, niggas be clowning Joe. But he'll give you a fair one. Oh, what do you got a problem? All right, let's go. Let's get it. Right in the street. Let's go. No.
Starting point is 01:26:17 He won't give you a fair one? Yeah, yeah, absolutely. If there's fair ones out there. I had an aspiring podcaster from Atlanta fly out here so I could just talk to him. Oh, y'all seen him? He came in like we was kicking it.
Starting point is 01:26:34 In a little hotel, right? Like he was in the Joe Budden mentorship program so we could really kick it about. Podcasting, I tried to help him. And his name is Troy. And around the second day or the third day, I got him with me. We go into the boday,
Starting point is 01:26:50 are you hungry? Let's go to the bacon, egg and cheese spot over here. And we run to Haven, we gonna run over here. We running around. By the second or third day, he looked at me and said, yo, I gotta be honest with you, Joe. Now, mind you, everywhere I go, they greet me.
Starting point is 01:27:06 He said, yo, the internet perception of you, man, it couldn't be more wrong. That's true. All of them niggas on the internet, if I believed all that shit, I believed. Let me tell you what I believed. I believed that everybody hated you, that you had a lot of money and you was lonely,
Starting point is 01:27:23 which is why you do shit like this. Like, I just thought you was bored and miserable and lonely and just rich and depressed about it because everybody hated you and want to put hands on you. But no, people love you. Like, even when you're not around, people are pointing to me saying, yo, you in good hands. Yo, that's my man right there. He got you. He's like, yo, I should never believe those things. And now that I'm watching you, I see why you don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 01:27:49 You're the happiest comedian running around. You're a little main bag. Getting your little shit to shopping. Why would you give a fuck? I said, Troy. You play into that shit, though, a little bit. Huh? You play into that shit a little bit.
Starting point is 01:28:01 You do. You do. I only say every podcast that there's value in narratives. You do little bit. You do. I only say every podcast that there's value in narratives. You do say that. You do. There's value in narratives. I'm still keeping it real.
Starting point is 01:28:11 I was thinking about that over the weekend. I'm learning that about leaning into certain narratives. Like, you know, I ain't with that bullshit. As long as nobody's getting hurt or harmful or threatening anybody, right?
Starting point is 01:28:26 Like, just a narrative? Shit. Nothing wrong with none of that at all. As long as... Because if we come from the wrong narrative, it could mean something. I think it's like you're playing with my name now. Yeah, but also where we come from, we know when you can't move around comfortably. It's a fact.
Starting point is 01:28:49 That's a fact. And that part is not discussed often enough. Talk about it. I know what it feels like to be at Dunkin' Donuts or the bodega in the morning, and the nigga you beefing with also likes coffee and walked to this bodega with his man and now we just in there. That's a fact. Right? I got a scar on my face now from a nigga
Starting point is 01:29:11 busting me inside there with a three liter Pepsi back in the day. All my parties was getting junked. You just know what it is. I laugh sometimes randomly today because back in the day in the 90s when niggas started shooting, niggas would roll under a car. And today I laugh at it because you fucking sitting duck nigga shoot the car the car blow up you other day you dead as hell well rolling under the car if you're getting jumped is no no I said
Starting point is 01:29:36 shooting I said oh okay oh I don't think that was bright yes it was no the fuck it was but you talk about he's somebody shoot the car the car can't blow up. You're dead. The car's blowing up. You're done. That's hard for that to happen, though. Exactly. Niggas been watching John Wick. Niggas been watching too many movies.
Starting point is 01:29:51 Guess what's harder than that? Yo, you know how many hood niggas I seen set a car on fire? I called you one day about it. With a bullet? I seen that before. I've seen it before, too. I seen it before.
Starting point is 01:30:01 You seen a nigga shoot a car and the car blow up? Yes. Shit start to get a hole in the back? No. We left. Huge fire. I've seen it before. You've seen a nigga shoot a car and the car blow up. Yes. Shit start to get on fire in the back. Blow up. No. We left.
Starting point is 01:30:08 Huge fire. I've seen that. Yes. It start to get... You shoot it... 100%. It start being fire in the... Always start in the back. Fire start coming from the back of the truck. You got a couple of minutes to get the fuck out.
Starting point is 01:30:16 I've never seen that. But I know a nigga start... That ex called me one time. Yo, that nigga said I lit my car on fire. What you want me to do? That nigga crazy. You better get away from him. Why you...
Starting point is 01:30:24 Yo, you better get... Girl, crazy. You better get away from him. Why you do that? Yo, you better get. Girl, run. Don't call me, bitch. Do you mean that's the reason why you say that? Because you ain't. Like, if somebody call you for help,
Starting point is 01:30:35 you have to go out. You would go and see shit? You would handle shit? What the fuck am I doing? Are you crazy? Don't do that. I just heard Summer Walker say, I want peace, but put your gun on the dresser
Starting point is 01:30:45 No I'm not putting my life In the hands of A woman's discernment Respect okay I don't think that women Have the greatest discernment And in the past
Starting point is 01:30:53 Three to five years We've seen enough niggas die Over Shorty's discernment That's a fact I'm not playing with y'all You talking to a nigga That don't even go to Shorty's house Any Shorty you attach to my name
Starting point is 01:31:02 In the past ten years I ain't been in her house Except for one I don't been in a house. Except for me. I don't know where none of them live. They always get in your crib. Yes! And then that became their crib. Yes! That's why I don't
Starting point is 01:31:17 fuck with homeless chicks. Chicks without a schedule. Chicks without parents. Chicks that ain't got nothing to do tomorrow. Without an apartment. These other chicks, nah, I don't know. They set you up in New York in a New York minute. That's a schedule. A chick without parents. A chick that ain't got nothing to do tomorrow. Without an apartment. These other chicks, nah, I don't know. They'll set you up in New York in a New York minute. That's a fact.
Starting point is 01:31:29 That's a fact. I almost got set up before. Even if they didn't do it. And I sort of set up too. Even if they didn't set it up, the other niggas that live in the building see you keep frequently coming.
Starting point is 01:31:39 They know what time it is. They know what your car look like. They gonna just squat on your shit till you come outside in this jackpot. Yeah, but anyway, they be like, yeah, I respect you so much.
Starting point is 01:31:50 You by yourself, son. Shit, that's crazy. You by yourself. Everything, how am I supposed to run around? I'm just saying, people. I did that too before where you run around with 30 to 50 P.
Starting point is 01:32:01 It gets expensive and it leave the room for the bullshit the more people you got with you. It it does all it take is one of them other who came with somebody else stupidness I was wondering do you bring me around they got I'm probably the first but I never understood that about men if you want me to be honest I get I get the street niggas I get the street niggas you got to be alert you got to be prepared at all times I understand them but I never understood a man that don't have to move like that moving like that.
Starting point is 01:32:29 Moving like what? I think the persona. Moving with a bunch of men. It's the persona though. Versus not alone, but women. It depends on your lifestyle. It's the image. It's the persona.
Starting point is 01:32:39 It's the lifestyle. All that plays a factor into moving like that. And on top of that, we see niggas just move with just women and then a bunch of niggas run into that nigga and then try to violate the nigga in front of the women. Yes, that is true. We seen that. Some of these dudes will be walking around here with three and four hundred thousand dollars worth of jewelry on.
Starting point is 01:32:57 You get what I'm saying? Some of these niggas got literal beefs in the street that are active. So, look, I might, I got... But that's the nigga that got to move like that. He talking about the nigga that don't. No, he saying he never understood how. Them the two niggas right there that don't mind shooting and going to jail for you.
Starting point is 01:33:13 That's a fact. So, niggas keep niggas like that with them. They're all niggas like that around? They keep niggas like that with them. Niggas jump out. At all times. Like, I stopped being into jewelry because the way I like to live my life, I didn't want to attract that attention to it. It definitely brings it.
Starting point is 01:33:30 And then it starts to question your manhood, too. Like, you got to think. Like, you go into a place, and there's mad dudes in there you don't know. Right? So you are shining a piece of steak in front of wolves that might not have eaten in a week. Now, do you tuck your chain? Do you tuck your chain and feel emasculated
Starting point is 01:33:48 or do you wave my fucking shit in front of these niggas' faces? That's a decision that you got to make. Not for me because I was tucking my chain regardless. Nigga, my chain tucked right now.
Starting point is 01:33:58 Yeah, I'm tucking my chain. You get my point. You are tucking your chain. You get my point? That's a decision. No, I'm not wearing a chain. That's the point. I'm not wearing a chain. That's the point, though. However, if I about a chain. You get my point? That's a decision. No, I'm not wearing a chain. That's the point. I'm not wearing a chain.
Starting point is 01:34:06 That's the point, though. However, if I had a chain, it wouldn't even be, it would be to wear tucked. It would be so you could see the clasp on the back. And that's it. Also, anytime I ever got. Can't enjoy your food. Well, that depends on the person. Well, that's the thing.
Starting point is 01:34:22 I'm a big fan of, oh, what's, how do you say? You're not supposed to have things when you're not supposed to have them, right? Like, when niggas was buying me jewelry and I didn't work hard for it and go spend my own money for it, I was just doing bullshit. Like, showing up to places
Starting point is 01:34:38 you shouldn't be with jewelry on. Two o'clock in the afternoon, you over here in the projects, you running over here. When niggas was loaning me their car that I didn't pay for, the fly shit that I was in the afternoon, you over here in the projects, you running over here. When niggas was loaning me their car that I didn't pay for, the fly shit that I was begging the bar, I went and drove everywhere that I shouldn't
Starting point is 01:34:50 have drove. I was right around Newark, moving there, hey, what's up? Late night, car racing, all that shit. What? He was doing bullshit. He right though. No, stupid. You fool. I did the same shit though.
Starting point is 01:35:04 I remember Webb got the Magnum. Webb got the Magnum. The first, you know, the second day he let me drive it. I went mad far with that shit, son. You just get a feel. I went far. He was calling me mad times.
Starting point is 01:35:17 I went to the barber shop. I went to the hood. All Webb cars is Joe Button car in Jersey. Every Webb car is Joe Button car in Jersey. Every web car is Joe Button car in Jersey. And web shit used to be smelling good. I used to try to pick up every girl in the world. You get some shit you ain't supposed to have, you start hitting 30 girls.
Starting point is 01:35:32 You just wait. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pulling up. Vanilla roll. Pulling up. I'm coming to your house. What's those little pebbles? He had the little pebbles in the-
Starting point is 01:35:38 The little salt. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In the thing, yeah. Fam, I, man, born, had the SL600. Gave this shit. I'm 19. You, born, had the SL600, gave the shit, I'm 19, you give me a brand new SL600 for the weekend.
Starting point is 01:35:49 I look back on my life, bro, I shouldn't be here. Just the stupid shit that I put myself into. I'm 19 driving the SL600 in a project at the fucking stoplight hitting the button,
Starting point is 01:36:01 dropping the top of the trunk, pulling it back up just because. Niggas shit. Stupid niggas shit. Niggas shit. Stupid niggas shit. Niggas shit. Yeah. Niggas shit.
Starting point is 01:36:08 Anytime they robbed me, I deserved it. Okay, hold on now. It's true. Hold on. I'm with him. It's true. I know about taking accountability,
Starting point is 01:36:16 but sometimes you're taking too much accountability, nigga. Don't come up with other accountability. Anywhere something like that happened to me or any time in my life, say it's all time,
Starting point is 01:36:25 I was somewhere that I just wasn't supposed to be. What make you not supposed to be there, though? Knowing better. Knowing better. You went there for a reason. You went to see someone. No, no, no. No, there was no reason.
Starting point is 01:36:37 So there was no reason you didn't go visit nobody? I made a reason. Yo, I got these chains on. I got this car. Okay. I got this outfit. I want to be seen. I want to go over here. Versus maybe a studio,
Starting point is 01:36:50 a date, just anything that your age group should be doing. But that's how it is when you don't work for what you have. Got it. You're right. That's how it is when you don't work for what you have. If I had to work for those things that I was trying to stunt with, I wouldn't have even had the time to be there.
Starting point is 01:37:07 I wouldn't have been there. It's a fact. It's a fact. I see what you're saying. It's a fact. Even if you had the time, you would have valued it differently. Yes. But do you, though?
Starting point is 01:37:17 Yes. When you're young and you have money and people are looking out for you, the first thing we want to do is show it off and have fun. I'm not talking about when you're young. you have money and people are looking out for you, the first thing we want to do is show it off and have fun. I'm not talking, see that, but I'm not talking about when you're young. Everybody has to be young. I'm talking about the point that each person individually gained understanding. That part comes different for people.
Starting point is 01:37:38 We all was young. I'm on the fence. We was all young. Joe, everybody understands it's different from yours. No, no, that's why I said everybody individually, whenever you come to understanding is when that is. I got it.
Starting point is 01:37:50 But evolution is we all got to be young and we all got to do stupid shit so we look back and say, now, the goal in that is to survive. Exactly. The goal in that
Starting point is 01:37:59 is to be alive to get to the understanding. When niggas ask me why I don't drink, I've seen a lot of shit happen to get to the understanding. When niggas ask me why I don't drink, I've seen a lot of shit happen to drunk people, though. I've seen a lot of niggas get caught slipping drunk.
Starting point is 01:38:11 Me too. A lot of them. In my own life experience. So I don't want to be one of them niggas. But then it makes you think about the street niggas, right? So like, me being young,
Starting point is 01:38:19 you see Webb and them niggas, new cars, nitty and all them niggas fly new shit. Hear Envy talk about it, then they pull up in the hood. They around, they respected. So is it that, are they the lucky ones or they just know how to move?
Starting point is 01:38:31 Right? You understand what I'm saying? It's a little bit of both. It's a little bit of both. Can you hear about them in Brooklyn? It's who the lucky ones. No, I'm just saying, like, shit didn't happen to them niggas when they had the cars and when they was, you know, enjoying the fruits of their labor.
Starting point is 01:38:43 Shit didn't happen to them niggas. I don't know. Yeah, I don niggas. I don't know. Yeah, I don't. Listen. I don't know them. The stuff that happened, pertained to them, was when they was involved in shit that we not involved in. We talking about, listen, I'm talking about driving.
Starting point is 01:38:58 You said what? It's all the same. It's all the same. What's all the same? It's all the same. All of it is a part of that. I seen niggas Drive expensive cars And come to the neighborhood
Starting point is 01:39:07 And nobody bother them Oh yeah that's possible It be in neighborhoods You drive late at night You see a fucking Web white car And 40 projects Four in the morning
Starting point is 01:39:16 I seen it And nobody bother Wait wait wait Hold on I don't know them So I don't want to talk on them But you also I know him
Starting point is 01:39:24 He's speaking for privilege. No, no, wait, wait, wait. I'm speaking for privilege. The fact that any nigga could do that in any projects in the world, any projects, so let's take it off of those guys. My friends did the same shit, right? We pull up top down, don't got to put the top up in the middle of projects that niggas was getting escorted out of.
Starting point is 01:39:43 But them niggas laid the groundwork for that level of respect. So it's a whole circle. Like Corby said, it's a circle. Nigga, the shit that they had to do to get feared to where I could leave my car outside with the top down, it all ties in. I agree. Feared, respected,
Starting point is 01:39:59 or have the network to be able to do it. It's different. It's a consequence when you do that shit. That's why I say you speak from privilege because you keep talking about niggas that are in the top 5% of what they do. Got it. Like, what is that? That's the timer. The timer.
Starting point is 01:40:16 The timer. Oh, the timer wants to shut the fuck up. All this started because you telling the audience that people think I'm pussy and that I want to prove them wrong. Rob Markman It's a good time. What'd you do? People-
Starting point is 01:40:28 Rob Markman But I didn't speak to you about nothing. How do you know? You reading me? Am I dressed that way? Rob Markman People? You play into a narrative of scary. Rob Markman No, I don't. Rob Markman No, I don't.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Rob Markman Hold on. Stop. Rob Markman Scary? Rob Markman You play, not scary. Okay, let's be semantics. You play into a narrative that I am a civilian, which you are, I want no problems and stuff like that, and. None of that's a narrative. All that's true.
Starting point is 01:40:52 It's not true. I understand. It is true. I get his point. Explain it to me. Ooh. You could be a civilian that can fight. No, but wait, stop.
Starting point is 01:40:58 Let me, let me finish my point. Hold on, hold on. Let me finish my point. And I want, he plays into this narrative, right? And the people that are close to him right sometimes the narrative come on to us not that we are the person but they question these things how you gonna roll with a nigga like that and stuff like that or how you gonna co-sign a nigga like this with this type of character unbeknownst to them that this nigga if you go up to him or
Starting point is 01:41:20 play with him or you think he's palsy or you think he's pussy, just try him and he will educate you more than you think he would. He may give you a PhD in that situation. Because when you get around and you start to hear things and you listen,
Starting point is 01:41:36 you're like, oh, okay. But see, that's something that you said. You know, they're questioning his character. They don't know him. You get what I'm saying? But other than...
Starting point is 01:41:44 So you just going on... That's what anybody... How much time people came to you about Joe? How much time people came to you about Joe? Put in time. But at the same token... It's not bothering him. He got the plugs in his ears. It's not bothering me either because I know him. Whoa, whoa, whoa. It's not that I have plugs in my ears. It's like I just been saying. That
Starting point is 01:41:59 is not in my real world. There's nobody in my day to day that comes up to me with any of the shit that you're talking about. Really? Not a one. Is it because you control your environment? No. Controlling your environment means you don't go into the areas where you have to hear these things that we hear.
Starting point is 01:42:16 People are not going to say the shit that they say like online or whatever to his face. But it's not online shit. Or like even having like a conversation let him step up into the conversation. Suddenly, everybody will be mute. I'm going to give you an example. When he started playing with his sexuality narrative,
Starting point is 01:42:33 I walked in the barbershop, and they couldn't wait for me to walk in there. Yo! My phone was on fire. Your man! My phone was on fire. Andro is blowing up with that little funny ringtone. I'm laughing.
Starting point is 01:42:44 Do-do-do-do-do. Do-do-do-do-do. You know what Itone. I'm laughing. Do-do-do-do-do. Do-do-do-do-do. You know what, nigga? But hold on. Do-do-do-do-do. Let me finish. The question I'm asking them is, nigga, what the fuck
Starting point is 01:42:54 that got to do with me? If that is true, what does that have to do with me? True. This is why I respect you, niggas. I respect you, niggas, because your maturity level is so amazing to me.
Starting point is 01:43:05 Me, not me. A nigga said to me, a woman, no disrespect, or a man, no, he's not, and I'm arguing with you. Based off of what? My nigga jerseys in the Raptors
Starting point is 01:43:14 and the ones that you was jerking off to, he didn't have, like, I go into those moments. That's where I'm from. This nigga really be out here trying to defend my name. And it is kind of immature. Now we all go through that.
Starting point is 01:43:26 But this is where I come from. I come from defending. I would want my friend to defend me. If somebody come to Joe, let's say if it's a sophisticated conversation. The Queensflip guy, man, I don't think that he knows how to pod. He's not good.
Starting point is 01:43:38 He wouldn't be good. You shouldn't have him up there because he's immature. I would expect Joe for knowing me and knowing and watching and doing some research to defend me of nah, that's not really true.
Starting point is 01:43:48 See, I have a totally different... Now look, now flip. I'm just talking about the environments. The environments that we're in, people the environments that we're in, the barbershops, the hood, when the niggas see us, they're going to say the nigga that you with acts palsy. But look, listen, listen, that example you just used. If somebody were to come to me
Starting point is 01:44:03 and say, because it's happened, yo I like y'all niggas, but that nigga Flip, yo, he don't know what he's doing. Y'all need to get him. Fam, what do you know? That's how I look at it. I'm with Flip on it. I don't have to defend. Like, fam, he's doing his job. You don't know the inner workings of this shit.
Starting point is 01:44:18 You don't know what you're talking about. I ain't got time to defend nothing to all of the people. You don't defend people? I defend. I defend. I defend when it time to defend nothing to all of the people. You don't defend people? I defend. I defend when it needs to be defended. That's serious. When there's something that needs to be defended. Everybody's talking over each other.
Starting point is 01:44:31 You can't do that. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'll defend it just when it needs. Yeah, to a point. There's a point. There's a point to which you defend. You don't have to go super crazy.
Starting point is 01:44:40 So what if a nigga record you standing there while your man being talked about and it gets to your man front desk? I'm just saying. No, this happens. These happen. I stand with Flip on this, but I think you'll get to a point where or you'll get enough money to where you'll drown it out. Say no more. I'm not there yet.
Starting point is 01:45:05 So niggas come up to me talking about Flip. I'm like, dog, that's showmanship. Yeah, exactly. Like, yo, when the mic cut off, that nigga don't act like that. That nigga mad quiet. He mad reserved. He don't act like that. Word!
Starting point is 01:45:17 I be like, yeah, he's nothing like that when the mic cut off. The nigga like a teddy bear when the mic cut off. Don't say all that. Exactly. I didn't even say all that. I wasn't even saying all that. You know what I'm saying? Don't say all that Exactly I wasn't even saying I wasn't even saying You know what I'm saying Don't say all that
Starting point is 01:45:27 No I'm just saying Like yo dawg It's not that My thing is On the mic Go time That's his character That he playing for
Starting point is 01:45:34 The production Yeah production That's a fact That's it People just be wanting To feel like they got Some inner behind the scenes Shit
Starting point is 01:45:40 They love that shit Yeah so like You don't have none of that So I'ma dispel a myth But dawg You don't have none of that This is the nigga going to dispel a myth. You don't have none of that. This is the nigga version of what I was just clowning Parks about.
Starting point is 01:45:51 It's the thinking. Parks shouldn't be thinking about where to park his car. It should get to a different thought. If I'm surrounded by anybody that's thinking oh he pussy. Oh then this is off.
Starting point is 01:46:10 Nobody in my business conversations, in my social circles, in my travels to the places I go is having any thought over who's pussy and who's not pussy. That stopped a while ago. I'm speaking from where I go. It's controlling your environment. Everything outside of your strip club settings, I would agree with that. Because when you go to these strip clubs, these niggas will be like,
Starting point is 01:46:38 yo, this pussy ass nigga, da, da, da, sizing you up. That's a possibility. But also when I go to these strip clubs, just so we are very clear, I know the hip hop police that are parked around the corner. I know the people- The bouncers. I usually know, fuck the bouncers, the cops that's sitting in front of the place.
Starting point is 01:46:55 I usually know, if I don't know them, I'll speak to them too. I know every bouncer here. I know the owner. I know the street niggas that's protecting the owner when he walks the money out. It's not just like a reckless... This is a controlled environment. This for me is as controlled... Anything can happen anywhere.
Starting point is 01:47:12 This is as controlled for me as that can get. I go borrow money now up out of there from... Yo, I need five grand. Why? To you tomorrow. Owner go in his pocket sometimes. Like, that's where you want to go where you well-received
Starting point is 01:47:29 or where you think you well-received. Not anywhere where the wrong look is now getting you into something. Oh, you stepped on my shoes, we getting into something. True. Oh, I ain't like how you spoke to me, so we got to get into something.
Starting point is 01:47:42 You want to go where the value of life is a little... Higher. Where people treat it a little better than that. I've been having this argument even with G-Money, right? Because G-Money said, we can get a lot of bookings flipping. A lot of people want you in places.
Starting point is 01:47:55 But every time I go to a club, I end up fighting. Last time I went to a club in 2016, I got jumped in a club in Queens in 2016 because I punched him in the face. Why? Because he was telling me about he haven't seen me in a long time and being too touchy and I'm acting fly and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:48:09 Rob Markman, Jr.: Nigga like your grateful dad. Rob Markman, Jr.: No, no. What I'm saying is that, and G-Money, his mom and shout out to G-Money, but he always says like, we can get some money together, man, because people want to book us and they want you to appear. No. I believe in controlling my environment. I'm not going to a club and doing no walkthroughs and appearances. And they did a calculation when we went through the email.
Starting point is 01:48:30 I lost a lot of money. But I'm tired of fighting in the club. I just said that when I did L.A. Wilson shit. It's not out yet, but it'll be out at some point. But I was telling him, right?
Starting point is 01:48:39 Like, I'm not out here at the club hosting. I ain't at the strip club on the mic. There's no flyers with my location running around. I move today the exact way I am supposed to move. Isn't that bad, though? All of that hip-hop shit that you niggas do, drop low. Yo, where you at?
Starting point is 01:49:01 I'm where I'm supposed to be. I'm home. Let me know if I need to greet you appropriately. Or the desire to go out and get every single bag just because you at. I'm where I'm supposed to be. I'm home. Let me know if I need to greet you appropriately. Or the desire to go out and get every single bag just because you can. Or just to be in the mix. Be in the mix.
Starting point is 01:49:10 Being in the mix. But I ain't in the mix. You got to earn it when you see me. You got to earn it. Sometimes being in the mix help situations. I don't want to be in the mix.
Starting point is 01:49:24 If you want to be in the mix, try to move on. Got to be in the music. Do you want to be in? Gotta be the right mix Mix changes as you elevate it does rooms change as you understand I understand and sometimes you don't if you don't need the money You don't need to be there You know I'm saying like it's okay Sometimes we get caught up in the internet world of yo go out and get the bag and get wealthy and get do that but sometimes it's like if you don't need that you don't need to be putting yourself in a position to be fucked up. Yeah like low hanging fruit. Yeah low hanging fruit shit.
Starting point is 01:49:52 And you got to be comfortable in who you be like you be who you be. True. Nothing about me outside says to anybody outside yo go try it. That's not that don't happen to me. Well, you be walking fast away from shit, though. No, I walk fast because I move with intention. You can be tight. No, but don't misrepresent me.
Starting point is 01:50:13 I walk fast because why would you want to ever be stationary or moving slow? I learned that. I learned that. I got you. That comes from celebrityism. Is that the word, right? That comes from that. No, I understand. What I mean, you walk fast. Jump got you. That comes from celebrityism. Is that the word, right? Mm-hmm. That comes from that. No, I understand what I mean.
Starting point is 01:50:27 You walk fast, that... Yo, Joe, what up? Hold on, hold on. This is Jay-Z shit. You want to move? There's nobody out here for me to talk to. The nigga's going to flip. There's not a business proposition out here. This ain't even how I conduct business.
Starting point is 01:50:35 I'm not in the music business. I don't need to hear a song. There is no reason for us to have a long exchange while I'm out. Got you. Did you have to, last question about this. We have to get to like a show. I know that you're doing your therapy Wednesday
Starting point is 01:50:52 in private. No, no, no. But we have to like get to some things. Let's get to it then. The Color Purple. Listen, I just, I wanted to get to thugs.
Starting point is 01:51:01 I wanted to, after all that Janelle Monae. I mean, I'm like a shot at some shit in here. I don't know why they touched that movie. But it looks good. So they kind of changed it. So it's not like a remake of The Color Purple.
Starting point is 01:51:17 Okay. Yeah, they kind of changed the premise around. And so the storyline is more kind of depicting like the play that was on Broadway so if you haven't seen that then you really won't know so but I ain't seen the
Starting point is 01:51:31 play the movie read the book you've never seen the color purple the original no really that's the Whoopi
Starting point is 01:51:36 Goldberg right it's with Oprah Winfrey Oprah Winfrey yeah yeah no never seen speaking of Whoopi
Starting point is 01:51:43 isn't that Gayle King that's on Whoopi's ass about having doubt over the Prince Harry and Meghan paparazzi chase? Yep. She was in a weird little...
Starting point is 01:51:54 Yeah, it was a weird little exchange. 360 degrees of separation. Whoopi agree with us? Yeah. Yes. Yeah, she did. She was just like,
Starting point is 01:52:01 it's New York City. She said it. How was there really a paparazzi chase? I don't like this thing where the media does where for people to have doubt or use their brain and question some shit, now they the bad guys. Shut the fuck up. That's the way it is now. You're either with it or the enemy.
Starting point is 01:52:16 You can't even question shit no more. I hate it. It was like an ambulance can't get through. Can't get through. But you're telling me y'all can't in the cab. Right. And that there was a chase. There was a chase.
Starting point is 01:52:28 Near catastrophic chase where they almost lost their lives. What are you talking about, man? No. Don't lie to me. Stop lying to me, okay? And they interviewed the cab driver, so. Yeah, he said it was a tragedy. Come on, stop.
Starting point is 01:52:38 Yeah. I got a question for y'all. Shoot. Give me some of your favorite songs that make you go crazy that you don't know the words to at all. I'll flip that a lot at all insert all your
Starting point is 01:52:48 Bad Bunny shits oh yeah absolutely all that shit March Madness nigga I ain't playing for the marriage like me average
Starting point is 01:53:01 I know it I learned it I learned it through repetition, but nigga, I used to throw money in the strip club with March Madness.
Starting point is 01:53:08 Come on, and I didn't know what the fuck that nigga was saying. A lot of future stuff. I don't know what that nigga was talking about, but that shit,
Starting point is 01:53:15 I be hype. I can't believe he said March Madness. I didn't know what he was saying the first time. 45, I'm good. Shit, Nirvana
Starting point is 01:53:23 smells like teen spirit. I've been jamming to that song for 35 years. I have no idea what he's saying the first time. 45, I'm good. Shit. Nirvana smells like teen spirit. I've been jamming to that song for 35 years. I have no idea what he's saying in that shit. That is a good one. In the verse of the hook. That's a good one.
Starting point is 01:53:32 None of it. Yo, that's a good one. Shut up. That's a good one. For real in the hook. Not really. I don't know it. I don't know it either.
Starting point is 01:53:41 We did that shit at karaoke a couple weekends ago. That's a one. Hey, guys. Hey. Here we are now. Anything you guys like to tell us? We did that shit at karaoke a couple weekends ago. That's the one, guys. Here we are now. Anything you know, it's like a hell on. If it was on, I would know it.
Starting point is 01:53:51 I would know it. If it was on, I would know the hook. Yeah, there's songs that when the hook plays, automatically it kicks in. But if you try and recall that shit without it playing, it's like. Yeah. Living on a Prayer, Bon Jovi. See, now there's no reason for you to not know Living on a Prayer Bon Jovi See Now there's no reason For you to not know Living on a Prayer
Starting point is 01:54:06 By Bon Jovi No I know the I know the chorus When that kicks in Oh the verse Yeah but then when the verse is I don't know the fuck that Tony used to work on the docks
Starting point is 01:54:15 Right That's what Something yeah And somebody fell in love And blah blah blah And they're poor But making it happen A lot of these songs
Starting point is 01:54:21 Yeah A lot of these songs You know what's funny about y'all I brought this topic up. Like, I wrote it down. And the songs I came up with were not English songs. Like, I was going to get into Pepas. Yeah, OK.
Starting point is 01:54:37 Yeah, I don't know nothing about that one. Yeah, you don't know that. We played it in the past. Oh, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la I don't know what they doing I just know when the heels hit the floor and the skirt starts spitting in the ear I know that part well there's always gonna be some Spanish girl in the club trying to give me
Starting point is 01:55:01 some pussy that's gonna tap me and say you know what they're talking about pills yes we looked it up one time I'm a Spanish girl in the club trying to give me some pussy that's going to tap me and say, you know what they're talking about? Pills. Fucking. That's what they're talking about. Yes. We looked it up one time. What song is this? Pepas.
Starting point is 01:55:12 Farruko. You know the song when you hear it. He probably don't because he'd be in the Amazon. He'd be nowhere where Spanish people be at. I mean, I so I do. Oh, man. And all of the fucking reggae songs. I know the words to those. Oh, there's a bit of that in there.
Starting point is 01:55:34 Yeah. It's a nice bachelor party. All I know is searching and searching. That's it. But what's my other shit? I was singing yesterday, and I know the words now, because of course, I fast ass knew the words. But action.
Starting point is 01:55:51 Not the look of that. Not the back of mouth. Ah! Yeah, it's all non-English shit. You love it, then we don't let it be, yo. That's a fact. But I know what it is. You don't know.
Starting point is 01:56:04 I need some action. Ten to satisfaction. Ish, did you just skip what I did? Say the words to my part. Action. Not to? Let me hear. Now you muted up, bitch.
Starting point is 01:56:17 I don't know that bullshit you said. Oh, hey, easy. Watch yourself. Not bullshit. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. The yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:26 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:27 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:27 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:27 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:28 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:28 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:29 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:29 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:29 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:29 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
Starting point is 01:56:34 Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch What else? What else? What else? What else? The fight. Devin Haney. Devin Haney had a fight over the weekend. That was a great fight, man. It was a great fight. It was a good fight. I didn't see it. I liked it a lot.
Starting point is 01:56:49 Didn't even know. Really good fight. I didn't know anything about Devin Haney's opponent going in. Really? I'm a casual boxing fan. Oh, yeah. He was him. He was him for a good four years.
Starting point is 01:57:03 Like, he was fucking people up for a good four years. I heard. He was fucking people up. I heard. And I heard he was supposed to be, like, on his last. Yeah, but. He older now. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:57:14 And so they was counting him out. They was looking at it like it was a touch-up fight almost. It was a good opponent, but Devin Haney should beat him. Because basically what the marketing machine is doing in boxing is they're doing a Devin Haney, Tank, Shakur threesome. Right? Pause. You didn't have to make it all that, but.
Starting point is 01:57:35 Only y'all brains went there. But they really marketed those three boxers against each other. And we going up. Remember how they did Floyd and um Manny and that shit ran a little biography whatever for six seven years until I finally met that's what they've been kind of bigging up these three dudes Devin Haney Shakur and Tank to somehow meet okay so the Devin Haney Loma fight is almost like a yo you ain't really been fighting nobody getting there with him.
Starting point is 01:58:06 He on his last leg it's going to be make for good TV and it made for good TV but not in the way Devin Haney thought it was going to make for good TV. I think that fight hurt him. I think it did as well. It killed him.
Starting point is 01:58:20 It basically I don't want to do It showed some chinks in his armor. My people's fuck with Devin Haney. So I'm just being observant. Bias. You're being diplomatic. I'm being objective.
Starting point is 01:58:31 So you're being non-objective. I'm being objective. Non-objective. I'm about to be objective. Oh, okay. Devin Haney has a bunch of flaws and a bunch of gaps in his boxing ability. And what he just showed was that I can't step in the ring with Tank.
Starting point is 01:58:47 I'm not going to be able to step in the ring with Shakur neither. They just light years above him. I think this fight hurt him way more than it helped him. Even though he came out with the win, it just hurt him. Yeah, I think it hurt a lot too. I think it hurt him. Nobody want to pay to see that now.
Starting point is 01:59:01 They kind of lost marketability. Nobody even want to pay to see Shakur fight him now. Like, yo, come on, stop. Tank will fuck him up. Seriously. He said he may change his weight class. He better change something.
Starting point is 01:59:17 Because they robbed Loma. He really won that fight. And that's his black tweet. He be like, yo, get him. Fuck it. They robbed us for years, but fuck it. But if you really want to tell the truth.
Starting point is 01:59:29 I tweeted that. If you really want to tell the truth. I tweeted that. I wanted to be on some black power shit, but I couldn't, man. I wanted to be on some black power shit, man. Like, yeah. I don't like when sports be unfair.
Starting point is 01:59:40 I don't like that. Yeah. Yeah, Loma won that middle to end. He won the last three rounds. But it's a business. And like you said, if they've been trying to like that. Yeah, Loma won that middle to end. He won the last three rounds. But it's a business. And like you said, if they've been trying to push that. They can't market Loma. Yeah, they got him.
Starting point is 01:59:50 You going to get this one. Old-ass Ukrainian dude. Yeah, he left to go to Ukraine. He left the war to come fight him. You know what I'm saying? Like, we can't market that. We can market Devin, Tank, Shakur. Devin, Tank, Shakur.
Starting point is 02:00:00 We going to just keep playing three off of each other until we run it up to a couple hundred million. Mm-hmm. You know what I'm saying? I never saw Shakur. We're going to just keep playing three off of each other until we run it up to a couple hundred million. Mm-hmm. You know what I'm saying? I never saw Shakur fight. Really? He's nice. Really? Silky.
Starting point is 02:00:12 Yeah. Silky. It's a big jersey right there, too. Big jersey. I'm really sad because of this decision. What can you tell, guys? We all love boxing. We all we all respect you killed his post game interview it's sometimes it's happened sometimes it's happened my father always teach me during
Starting point is 02:00:35 a life you need to win uh without question looks clarified but they maybe was not clarified they maybe was not a big domination from my side just sound like a good guy I understand it good man because it's what it was the city we saw the pictures of you in the dressing room crying can you talk about how much it hurt to be on the wrong end of those scores. I just, then I had a speech. I just remember my son today called me seven times and every time tell me, hey, and then you, and then you. And in this moment, then I remember this moment. It was very hard for me
Starting point is 02:01:26 all day is some corner and say and the new and then come on man that's where and you go out there and you fight your fucking ass off and that's what happened away here goes your core let's read this let's just go this is assessment of what you saw tonight between Devon Haney and theily Lomachenko, two men in your weight class. Lomachenko should be Undisputed Champion. He won. Wow. He won that fight. What was it about his performance tonight that makes you say that he deserved the win? He landed the cleaner punches. He landed the cleaner shots on Dev. And he pushed the pace. What you saw tonight means that if Devin Haney decides to stay at 135,
Starting point is 02:02:07 you could potentially get inside of the Undisputed title. How much do you want that fight? Let's make it happen. I think that should happen next. I think Devin and I are on my level, and I'm going to show it. Big jersey talking like that. He's running into it now. Y'all want to set it up for next week?
Starting point is 02:02:22 Oh, yeah. And that's what he got? Please. Hey, clear the ring out. Please. We can fight right now. Y'all want to set it up for next week? Oh, yeah. And that's what he got? Please. Hey, clear the ring out. Please. We can fight right now. Like, yo, please. That's how he looked at it.
Starting point is 02:02:31 I saw the interview live. He was like, yo, dog, he not on my level. He's nowhere near on my level. After this, I'll beat his ass in a phone booth. Like, that's how he was talking. And I saw something else with Tank saying that Haney can't sell tickets. He can't sell out fights
Starting point is 02:02:49 unless it's in his hometown or some shit like that. That's a possibility. So outside of the skill set that these gentlemen have, it's about box office. Market to villain. I still don't think
Starting point is 02:02:58 we're getting none of the good fights. That's what I'm saying. The machine is put, they were pushing to Devin Haney, Shakur, Tank. Devin Haney,
Starting point is 02:03:04 Tank is really the only person selling fights. You really want to keepvin Haney, Shakur, Tank. Devin Haney, Tank is really the only person selling fights. You really want to keep it a buck. Shakur don't really sell them like that neither. Tank is the draw
Starting point is 02:03:11 in boxing. He is. He is. Yeah, he is. He is. I'm tired of that. It was a good weekend. It was a good weekend
Starting point is 02:03:19 to stay inside. It was. But the playoff games, the fight, it was a good weekend to stay in the house. It was. How, yeah. The playoff games, the fight. It was a good weekend staying at house. It was. How y'all feel about Tom Brady being now a part owner of the Raiders?
Starting point is 02:03:32 I feel like I said this before at some point. Raiders? Yeah. Oh, yeah. You said because of it. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He did. They said he a minority owner and he takes place in no business decisions.
Starting point is 02:03:46 So. No, I'm just saying he just put money on it. And it's a lie. And it's a lie. Tom Brady don't take place in no business decisions. I'm sure they probably
Starting point is 02:03:56 asked him. It depends on what percentage he bought. Like they ain't say what percentage he bought. It's still probably askable he thinks though. It's possible.
Starting point is 02:04:03 What do you think Tom? Yeah. Not possible. It's a smart. Yeah. Not possible. It's a smart thing to do. Yeah. Got the goat over here. Yeah, what do you think about this? Yeah, what do you think about us doing this, goat?
Starting point is 02:04:14 Yeah, I don't have any thoughts on that. I'm much more glued to Hove and Beyonce. Buying a $200 million house. No, buying a $295 million house. Getting a deal for $200 million. Cash. Yeah. And paying cash.
Starting point is 02:04:34 And there's a report that came out that said this is their weekend home. I'm like, all right, dog. Enough. Enough now. You playing with us now. And this home is 21 miles up from our Malibu $100 million house. They're on Billionaire Row. Yes.
Starting point is 02:04:50 Billionaire Row. I think they move with intention all the time. So it got some financial dope-ass ramifications. If it was a 295 and we got it for 200, we up 100 million in equity. It's rich people business. Shut our peon asses up. You the one trying to explain it. You the one trying.
Starting point is 02:05:17 Yo, that mean they up 100 million in the equity. Yeah, no shit. Nah, they doing it right. They doing it right. I want to see inside that motherfucker. You can't see from the pictures outside. Nah, they doing it right. They doing it right. I want to see inside that motherfucker. You can't see from the pictures outside. You can see inside that motherfucker. That shit is crazy.
Starting point is 02:05:29 I need to up close. I need to know what amenities come with. That marble is thicker than Janet Jackson. That shit probably like this, yo. She ain't the thickest. I get what you're saying. You get my point. I get what you're saying.
Starting point is 02:05:43 That shit is imported. So that mean they got the most expensive house. Ever sold. And car now in the United States. Oh, yeah. Jay did buy that ugly ass Rolls Royce. 28 mil or something like that. You seen that car?
Starting point is 02:05:58 Yes. Oh. Can't call it ugly when it's not ugly. Can't call it ugly when it's not ugly. I don't think that car's ugly at all. Okay. You wouldn't either. What does it do?
Starting point is 02:06:10 If you like that bullshit-ass Beamer you had, then you would like this. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. That was a good one. Yeah, no, they got him.
Starting point is 02:06:20 Stop playing my man. Fix your face, too, before that nigga pull up on you one day. Fix your face before he pull that car up next to your car one day. What the fuck? That got to do with anything. Everything. No, it don't.
Starting point is 02:06:30 Joe, just because something don't cost. Oh, please. You put your shoulders in the glove. Just because something cost money, that don't mean that's dope. You're podding right now. Stop it. I'm not podding. You're podding right now.
Starting point is 02:06:36 But you're my man. I'm not, though. Just because some shit cost some money, that don't make it flop? I agree with that. OK. that'll make it flop? I agree with that. Okay. However, if that vehicle pulled up to the light next to your vehicle while you got your whole family
Starting point is 02:06:52 in the car on your way to some ill shit and your kid look old, I'm like, damn. Damn, dad. What's that? Daddy. Or they start playing,
Starting point is 02:07:01 that's my car. Yeah. Oh, shit. What are you talking about, y'all? I'm looking at the car. Erickson, we're going to put this boat. Look, the shit is swimming. Look, the shit is in the water. What is he talking about?
Starting point is 02:07:14 Let me see it. What is he talking about? Look at that. Pass that on around for me so everybody can know what we're talking about. Flip just pulled up a different car. Yeah, no, that's the car. That's not ugly. No, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:07:21 Yeah, no, Ish just be pardoned sometimes. That shit will put your little Grand Cherokee away. That's not the car. That shit will finish your Grand Cherokee. That shit the car. That's not ugly. No, I don't know. It's just be pardoned sometimes. That should have put your little Grand Cherokee away. That's not the car. That shit will finish your Grand Cherokee. That shit is fly. That's not the car. Just know when this pull up next to your Wagoneer, you're finished.
Starting point is 02:07:37 Oh, shit. And then you're going to go pop the trunk and put the umbrellas up in the back with beach chairs and just sit there at the light while you're there with your little wagon. Get out of here, nigga. Kick rocks. That is the car.
Starting point is 02:07:49 Look. No, no, no, no. I thought it was the other shit. Let's pause so he can apologize and recant that take. Because if that car pull up, the Android Wi-Fi is slow, but we doing a show. We doing a show, though. That shit sexy. Anyways, congratulations to Hov
Starting point is 02:08:05 And B And Dan See and that's what I mean When you read shit like that And you see shit like that I don't have time for Who snitched Yo can you fight
Starting point is 02:08:20 Like That ain't even in my ministry today I don't have time to waste They out here bugging True How do you read this stuff And not be inspired Fact
Starting point is 02:08:30 To do something Anything It's to unlearn all the nigga shit though That's what Cause the nigga shit is what's keeping you focused on Who snitching No we selling the nigga shit to We selling the nigga shit to y'all
Starting point is 02:08:43 So we can get y'all money All my single ladies All my single ladies, all my single ladies. I don't hear nobody talking about, damn, look at that dual income household and how they body and shit together as a couple. Uh-oh. Huh? That togetherness thing. Quiet. It mute up.
Starting point is 02:09:00 They get real quiet. We start talking about that togetherness thing. Hey, let's take the best of you, put it with the best of me, and let's go forward till we die. And the guys die first. Statistically speaking. Actually, no. Statistically speaking, men live longer when they're married.
Starting point is 02:09:20 Show me that. No, it is. It's true. It's true. I heard y'all both say that. Wait, are you saying men live longer as married? Or do they outlive their wives? Do they outlive their wives?
Starting point is 02:09:30 I don't believe nothing they're talking about. No, that's... That's what we're talking about. That's what we're talking about. Let's do it together until we die and men die first. If they show you, are you going to believe it? Show me. Yes, I'm asking you to show me, condescending prick.
Starting point is 02:09:43 Marry men live longer. Because we've shown you about it. That's not what we're saying. His point was... That was a cutaway. That was a cutaway. I was waiting for my apology from Mel or Asia or anyone. Sorry, I was wrong.
Starting point is 02:10:00 Thank you. Husbands. Die first, is what we're saying. Married men live longer than single men isn't the play it was just yes not the same oh man I never get married would you get married yeah you do that Yo, Mel Mel, nah I ain't gonna let you do that, Mel
Starting point is 02:10:24 I can't do that I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry You out of line Okay, apologize Please, Mel I'm sorry
Starting point is 02:10:34 Good I'm sorry You on the road, boy Yeah I'm gonna mute up for a second Don't we have like a Beyonce Kendrick track That we wanna play?
Starting point is 02:10:43 We do There's a remix It's a remix America There's a remix. America's Got a Problem. America's Got a Problem. It's just surprise drop came out of nowhere. Ta-da. As Beyonce does.
Starting point is 02:10:52 She's on tour. Yeah. Not that much of a surprise. No, no. It still is. That it's a surprise remix featuring Kendrick. It wasn't the day one of the tour. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 02:11:06 I mean. So, did y'all hear it? Y'all sound so uninterested when you talk about this hip-hop, this music shit. Honestly. Well, I wasn't particularly
Starting point is 02:11:14 interested by this. I was excited to hear it and then I heard it and I was like, I mean, cool. Think I'll go back to it. And it's okay as podcasters to say when we don't
Starting point is 02:11:21 give a fuck about some shit. I honestly haven't heard it. I'd really actually like to hear it if we want to play a little fuck about some shit. I honestly haven't heard it. I'd really actually like to hear it if we want to play a little verse. You got it? Yeah, I got it.
Starting point is 02:11:29 I think so. Yeah? I might delete it, that shit. Okay, well, while Parks finds it, I'm going to remind y'all that none of us heard it because nobody wanted
Starting point is 02:11:37 to hear it or cared about hearing it. So now y'all going to come sit at work and hear it for the first time and say what? Just say you don't care. I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 02:11:46 I didn't rush to go. It was off the Renaissance album, which wasn't the album for me anyway. So any record remixing off of there. Salute, but. Yeah. Yeah. And this is Beyonce tour season. I'm not going to the show.
Starting point is 02:12:04 So, I mean, we're going to keep seeing these announcements. Like some ill shit happening over here. Some fly shit happening here. This artist collab. And she's only going to collab with like the best of the best in terms of front facing. Like I was really happy for Danny. Danny Lay. Shout out to her.
Starting point is 02:12:22 Being listed as one of her choreographers. Yeah. That's dope. That was super dope. shout out to her for being listed as one of her choreographers yeah that was super dope all of those writers that listen that album might not have been
Starting point is 02:12:31 for me but all of those writers that participated Sabrina Claudio she got the look Dixon he got the look
Starting point is 02:12:40 like she Victoria Monet I want to say too I'm just saying she's good with that she's really Beyonce
Starting point is 02:12:46 yeah yeah so like that's you want to see that you want to see it you want to see it congratulations to everybody that played a part in that
Starting point is 02:12:54 for sure and this tour is going to go off I'll be in the parking lot is you going nah you said I wasn't trying to be funny huh you said sitting in the short yeah she said I wasn't trying to be funny Huh?
Starting point is 02:13:05 You sitting in short Yeah she gone I ain't gone Alright Got it Got it Got it What else?
Starting point is 02:13:12 What else is unimportant Important We down to the last episode Of Succession man True indeed How we feeling? How we feeling guys? I feel like everyone
Starting point is 02:13:21 On that show Is a piece of shit I was thinking that too I was like I can't wait Equal piece of shit. I was thinking that too. I was like, I can't wait. Equal parts of this show has been phenomenal and I cannot wait for it to be over because these are some of the most hateful characters I've ever seen on TV ever.
Starting point is 02:13:36 And it's fucked up because every so often they'll make one like, oh, I kind of like Roman now. Yeah. And then it's a piece of shit shit. And you're like, ah, god damn it. Same thing, shit. Every last one of them. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:13:50 We didn't get a chance to talk about like the election night that was like the episode before the one that just played out on sunday the sunday was the funeral but it was interesting to watch the the election episode just to watch everybody just be walk around being completely conflicted you know what i mean? From a business standpoint, they are looking at the candidates and figuring out who would be beneficial, but from a moral standpoint, or, you know, because there's a lot of conversation about Kendall and his kids
Starting point is 02:14:14 and the treatment that he was getting. Basically, you know, Jared Menken, the character of Jared Menken, he's like Trump. Yes. And it's like 2016 all over again. Yes. But it's just watching...
Starting point is 02:14:24 Mixed with a little of the last election. Yeah. More 2020-ish. Yeah. So watching it. Steal the vote shit. Yes, exactly. So watching it just kind of play out and watching Roman kind of go off the rails in both episodes has been kind of fascinating.
Starting point is 02:14:41 Because you want to like Roman. And then he does shit that's some fuck shit he does some fuck shit that lets you know that he's just really like a spoiled entitled brat who wants to walk around in his father I imagine this you know this image of Roman in his father's closet as a little boy trying to put on his shoes and trying to put on his suit and emulate his father, but he will never, ever, ever measure up. And I think that that's going to be like how that character is thought of and remembered
Starting point is 02:15:12 when the series is over. Yeah. Any predictions for the finale? I don't even know. It's such a shit show. The three of them, it's such a shit show. I don't know who. I feel like Kendall ends up being the one,
Starting point is 02:15:30 but I could be completely wrong. He seems the most on point in terms of front-facing for the company. So I think that that will lend to him being the preferred leader of the... I think the screw job that Shiv is pulling is going to work. I do see, because now the president-elect
Starting point is 02:15:51 is rolling with my man from Sweden. I forget his name. He likes the idea. Yeah, Madsen. He likes the idea. The whole US CEO. He's on board. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:16:03 So I think they pulled the rug under Roman's eyes, on his legs, excuse me. But yeah, I see Shiv kind of, I guess if this is a game, she comes out the winner. Okay. I ain't watched none of this season.
Starting point is 02:16:17 I'm waiting. You ain't seen none of this season? I'm not wilding to do that shit y'all do. I ain't seen neither. No. And I know the story. But I got to see how they do it,
Starting point is 02:16:27 how they close it. But after they finish, I'll go back and watch it. Same thing I did with Ozark. Yeah. Same thing I'm doing with my show that I'm watching,
Starting point is 02:16:35 Love and Death. It's six episodes out. I got to five. I finished five. I was like, nah. Chilling. I am not touching that one until another one is out. You need two.
Starting point is 02:16:47 They are destroying this. This is a true story, right? Yes. But it's a reenactment thing. It's not a doc. It's a limited series. It's a limited series. It's not a doc.

Starting point is 02:20:06 And season two just started. There are four episodes in on season two. They haven't told me why these people are trapped here. But at around six o'clock, everybody got to go in the house because some creatures come out. The freaks come out at night. But I don't need, the freaks come out at night, right? And I don't even see, so far,

Starting point is 02:20:36 Yeah, but this, I'm only on episode three. So far, this is out of the park and everybody that has seen it says, just keep going unravel the mystery of a city in middle

Starting point is 02:21:51 Yo, round of applause. Hold on. Not too much on Mello, man. Not too much on Mello. Carmelo Anthony announced his retirement after 19 seasons. More, more fire, more fire, more fire. What is? I'm repping.
Starting point is 02:22:10 I'm proud of him. I'm proud of Carmelo. Ninth all-time on the scoring list. Happy for that, man. And this is with people saying, this is with people saying that maybe he wasn't all the way locked in some of them years and wasn't trying to win a championship, all that shit. He still got ninth on the scoring list.
Starting point is 02:22:31 I watched that game in the garden, 61 points. Most points ever scored or some shit. Like, I seen to that. I seen us trade the whole team for this guy. He carried on that wave. What is funny? What's happening? Come on. He carried on that wave. What is funny? What's happening? Come on.
Starting point is 02:22:46 It's not even that. I'm not trying to step on it, but I'm watching everybody say ninth on the scoring list all time, but you played a very long time, dog. That's kind of inevitable. If you play a long time and score some points,
Starting point is 02:22:59 you're going to move up the scoring list. That's a very inside nigga thing to say. Okay, well. He's one of the best scorers of his era, at least. That's a very inside nigga thing to say. Okay, well. He's one of the best scorers of his era, at least. That's a very living room coach thing to say. If you play a long time, that's inevitable. No, it's not.
Starting point is 02:23:12 Yeah, there's mad players. Come on. Robert Parrish is not in the top 10. There's mad people that play for a long time that are not there, number one. Number two, every night you go out there and risk an injury. I'm not knocking. It's a credit. You also just score a lot.
Starting point is 02:23:25 Stop it. We big up fucking Cal Ripken Jr. for playing 1,500 games straight. Like, stop, stop. We're not going to do that to our... We big up Eli Manning. Yeah. From Kumpa.
Starting point is 02:23:35 Mr. Dorability, yeah. It's true. Nah, Melo's Melo. Nah, Melo is him. And before we even talk about the NBA, he's a Syracuse legend. Like, Melo is him. For sure, 100%.
Starting point is 02:23:44 Melo, he's a Syracuse legend. Mello is him. For sure. 100%. Mello, he's a Baltimore legend. He's the extension of all that Iverson shit that came. He is. I agree with that. He one of us. He's us, yo. He's one of us. When you see Mello in the clubs, you see Mello.
Starting point is 02:24:00 We seen him. Have we seen him? We seen him be excited to meet Lala. We seen him. Like, we grew up We seen him be excited to meet Lala. We seen, like, we grew up, I grew up with this guy. I grew up with this guy. So for him to hang his jersey up, they're having to talk about, does Denver retire 15, even though Joe Kick wears 15?
Starting point is 02:24:19 Put them both up there. Put them both up there in Denver. Retire both jerseys. They're having this talk in New York. Do you think Melo's jersey needs to be retired in New York? I think the New York, I think the New York should be happy to hang cleaners clothes up in the rafters.
Starting point is 02:24:31 I think y'all should just hire local artists to put artwork up there. We ain't hung shit up there. Y'all should be thrilled when you have something to hang up there. I don't understand this conversation. Pat Ewing? Yeah. Probably the last Pat Ewing? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:24:46 Probably the last one, right? Yeah. Probably the last. See, I don't even think they got Bernard King up there. I don't know what's up there. It's not impossible. Not impossible. Check. Sheesh. Just go check. They got Atlantic Division titles from the 90s up there.
Starting point is 02:25:03 Yes. Carmelo's jersey should be retired in New York. Nick's got a couple. Kiki Vanduul. Stop playing, yo. Well, Bill Russell across the entire NBA. Earl Monroe.
Starting point is 02:25:17 Dick Barnett. Earl Monroe. What's our big center? Willis Reed. Dave DeBuscher Dave DeBuscher Bill Bradley Bill Bradley
Starting point is 02:25:29 Patrick Ewing I'm about to say at least you'll be coming to an end soon yikes bunch of names from the 50s and 60s 70s
Starting point is 02:25:38 70s with all due respect to Bill Bradley and rest in peace to Jim Brown indeed rest in peace to Jim Brown
Starting point is 02:25:44 rest in peace Jim Brown we should have been said rest in peace to Jim Brown we definitely should rest in peace to uh jim brown indeed rest in peace to jim brown peace jim brown we should have been said rest in peace we definitely should peace that's uh they said that's making his good godfather something like that right way more than that a lot more than that a lot more than that might be down holy shit i can't make none of this no they were, they were attacking her for bigging him up. Nah, I didn't know what was going on.
Starting point is 02:26:09 Nah, he's him, I heard. He's definitely him. We heard. We got to stop hearing on here. I don't watch sports. At one point, we needed to do this. He's much bigger than Casavis. You know, back in the day.
Starting point is 02:26:20 Actor, civil rights activist. Yes, I know. You could just let us do it. Rest in peace, Jim Brown. Rest in peace, Jim Brown. Rest in peace, Jim Brown. I was just watching He Got Game the other day. I said, oh shit, Jim Brown was in this too.
Starting point is 02:26:34 Fuck. Hope she's doing all right. Say it again? We hope Megan Good's all right. Megan Good name should be banned from this podcast anyway, along with some other names. Oh, stop. making good names should be banned from this podcast anyway along with some other names let's see here I don't think I have any more news
Starting point is 02:27:00 that I need to get out here any part of the show for us let's see let's see. Let's see if we got some good ones here. Okay.
Starting point is 02:27:10 I like the ones where they ask us for relationship advice and we give them everything but good relationship. I love those. Please continue to send those in.
Starting point is 02:27:18 I enjoy those. The one where we shit on a dude. They must think you chump. You might be pussy, though. I don't know. I can't relate to what you're going through. All right, I got a part of the show here from a gentleman named Ty.
Starting point is 02:27:34 Ty, what up? What's up, Ty? What up, Ty? Ty says, just wanted to give a little pushback for some of the reason why fans have narratives about the pod that's because we make narratives flip ass flip asked what did we see to make it seem like him and ish had problems like there was no way it could ever blow up from a fan standpoint we saw a mature ish and a less and a little less mature flip tackling serious topics now unless, unless Ish is a part-time actor, he looked more upset when arguing serious topics. Even Flip said he had to check his own ego and
Starting point is 02:28:11 how he thought he wasn't going to make it. Wouldn't that be proving the narrative right if the change didn't happen? The same happened with the older cast. We started to see a frustrated Joe when it came to lack of effort. One member on his phone the whole show and another challenging Joe to fight for a week. But as always fans are called dumb for pointing out what we see unfolding in front of us. Same after the Charlamagne and Gucci interview. At some point it
Starting point is 02:28:36 looks like a smoke screen to ensure things are running smoothly. But the pod has been great lately and the growth and chemistry is better now. So you got a question Tom? No, I'm just playing. No question, that was just a
Starting point is 02:28:51 observation. I do think that the fans witnessing what happened with the old crew play out in real time has them kind of on edge that any you argue with somebody two, three times in a row, they're like, oh, we can't really go through this again.
Starting point is 02:29:07 Or if somebody's not here, they just get on edge. I think them seeing that, a lot of times in shows, you don't see it happen in real time. It be some shit you might hear about behind the scenes, but you don't really get to see it. They witnessed it, so they're like trying to spot it before it happens again. I think what it comes down to is that a lot of the fans, you go extreme, right?
Starting point is 02:29:28 So when you're sitting here and you're saying, well, you guys are going to fight. You guys are going to ish and flip going to fight. And they don't like each other. Well, it's the total opposite. Right. So, of course, if we're reading it and I said, man, I fuck with ish. That's my man. I'm going to give pushback and call some of you niggas dumb.
Starting point is 02:29:44 Not all of you. But it's like because I feel like you are waiting for the explosion to happen instead of enjoying the process of the growth. You're waiting. You're predicting, oh, they're going to explode. They're going to fight. And then on top of that, it's like when a nigga trying to be on some mature shit and get out of bullshit and you're saying they're going to fight the fuck up business, you're actually calling the motherfuckers dumb. What do you mean? I'm that dumb to fight to fight the fuck up business, you're actually calling the motherfuckers dumb. What do you mean? I'm that dumb to fight my man and fuck up the bag? So I start to think and I start to get a little defensive, but I get it.
Starting point is 02:30:12 You know what I mean? It's all I act. That part, right? My point to the fans be, by the time y'all know about it, you're late. Always. Every single time by the time y'all that Gucci man Charlamagne Angela shit start going on there's gonna be from few years and coming to work every day and none of y'all was none the wiser by the time you see something it was there already even me with the whole cast that whole fake fight thing by the time by the time you saw that there was shit going on you late that's all
Starting point is 02:30:46 we be saying is just get a little more just get a little more first everything ain't on the screen is all true hey and sometimes y'all be right you do sometimes you'll be right there's not a whole lot uh all right what am i doing what am i doing? What am I doing? We got gifts first. Oh, we got gifts. Okay. Corey continued his theme of FaceTiming me on the weekend from different parts of the world. This time he was in Jamaica.
Starting point is 02:31:17 He's got us a gift. Magnum. Magnum. What? Toxic. Tonic wine. Toxic wine. Who's going to have sex? Tonic wine Toxic wine Who's gonna have sex Tonic wine

Starting point is 02:31:46 You don't need none of this. Oh, Ray and Nephew. You don't need none of this? I mean, look at the image on it. It's a man and a woman. It's heat activated. You never had one of these? You never had one? Where's the LGBTQ plus version of this? Wait till I try that shit. Come back and talk about it's like, it's all, it's heat activated. Bruh, you never had one of these? You never had one?

Starting point is 02:32:40 I didn't open it. I didn't open it. See, look. This is. I'm playing a sleeper. That's what I'm gonna do. You about to drink this right now? Put in the cup and take a sip.

Starting point is 02:33:31 She be out the window just waiting for it. Instead of pointing at me, why y'all don't look at her and say, just give me a reason I'm going to jump. Give me a reason. Give me. That's a reason? She just jumps. Holy shit.
Starting point is 02:33:43 All right. I'm playing a record. Thank you, buddy. Now you made a man. You gonna get in trouble? I might. But why are you doing that? It's fun.

This is a man's world But it wouldn't be nothing Nothing Without a woman or a girl Let me stop this and just throw in this caveat.

Starting point is 02:37:21 But it would be nothing. What would we be If I were a woman Or a girl Enough of that D She killed it She did I was fired
Starting point is 02:37:43 She killed it Better than it sounded When you announced it right Same thing I was fired She killed that Better than It sounded When you announced it Right Same thing I was I'm like Let me see what you Gonna do with this

Director's Cut 4 is Freedom. Don't gotta speak to have a powerful voice It's only right that a man demand his respect And don't allow you a choice They'll call you wilt when all the flowers are moist
Starting point is 02:40:51 So why try to be brave? Cause when you stumble, watch the cowards rejoice You don't try nothing, you will never be nothing How they see your vision when you ain't never seen nothing You just acting out a script, I see another scene coming Yeah, I seen it all before, that's why these niggas rerunning I'm just breaking free from it, people in the streets suffering 99 problems, but that shouldn't be the least of them
Starting point is 02:41:11 I ain't trying to preach to them, who the fuck's to blame? When you break about them shackles, then you buy another chain I'm guilty of the same, I did it to look like a star Who cares if you truly are free, as long as you look like you are You ain't got no freedom if you get a bad comment and you believe em They said your music was trash and that clip is now deleted You ain't really free if you spend ten thousand in Saint Laurent Now your man sell clothes but you want some free shit
Starting point is 02:41:34 How you say you free when you spend no time on what you believe in But your boss got you working all through the weekend That's what I call a deep end You criticize me when you gotta pretend I sought you with all the power of three men That's why they say I'm troublesome You can't say you free if you Democrat or Republican You can't say you free if you've never owned all your publishing You can't say you free if you 45 and still hustling
Starting point is 02:41:55 Could never say you free if religion is what you trusted in Why would you be free if you can't control what you lusting in? Everything you rapping is crafted without sustenance No nourishment, my flow flourishin' You fucks let it burn, so I had to usher in Some untainted lyrics from a G I'm screamin' Hold it, I'm jackin' up

Starting point is 02:43:09 I try to sing away the pain Broken glass was in your hands and you put it to a bone How the fuck you don't feel no shame You're supposed to be the one to show me how to love But you showed me how to hate myself Cause the same blood in your veins runs through mine And there's something I can't get around But that's not how I'm gonna live
Starting point is 02:43:30 That's not how I'm so it's gonna end And sometimes I wanna forget I'm down on my knees but I'm missing the end You can't take this from me No, you won't take this from me, no No, you won't take this from me, no You don't care if I'm hurting These scars deep within You left me discerning And I can't forgive I got so many questions
Starting point is 02:44:05 That blend in unanswered But you'll never be able To take what you don't give Mama was trying Mama was crying You were the reason You would destroy your guys End of the world
Starting point is 02:44:23 Fighting your demons But I was just a kid Not once did you say you were sorry After all these years Still it did not like it didn't happen If that's how you choose to live You didn't think about the consequences How many did you forget you forget Are you scared
